Are these limited to one? I mean, if I buy two pizza sauces do I get two for free? or just one per customer?

      • J_caudill87

it should be one free for each you pay for.   just like normal b1g1….but ask your publix customer service to make sure.. hope this helps..

        • Mountaineers2

I'm pretty sure it's a shot deal but I suppose if you went in every day it'd be the same deal but why continue to spend your money?  :)  (not being snitty, just sayin')

      • Masonsmom82

the last time they had the buy theres/get ours, i bought 3 and got 3 free

    • Holmiemom

How does this work?  Do I buy “theirs” and the cashier has “ours” at the front of the store like they do the penny item?  Or, do I have to say something at the register?  Or, do I put both brands in my cart while shopping and does the cashier automatically know what to do?
      Thanks so much!

      • Smamf1922

You load them all in your cart and take to register,  it will show up on register automatically.

        • Holmiemom

          Thank you :)

    • BBlair

Does anyone know if this offer is good in Florida? I know that penny items and are not in Fl Publix…

      • Edie

Yes, the promotion is available at my Publix store in Jacksonville, FL. I am pretty sure other cities have the same promotion

      • Lizz

i see buy theirs get ours frees pretty often in tallahassee fl too. Also orlando I believe too

      • Ladyd34747

Yes, I have seen that deal in Winter Garden and Clermont FL Pubix as well

    • ScottK

Without coupons, are these really worthwhile deals?

      • Shelleyschu

It's because you also get the Publix brand for free too. Pizza sauce seems like an ok deal.

        • ScottK

Yeah, but I mean, you're paying regular price for a national brand to get a store brand free…it just seems like a BOGO deal on the same type of item (even if a different brand) somewhere else would be a better bet.

          • Lana

BUT pizza sauce sales and coupons are almost never available so it is a good deal if you make your own pizza.

            • Saprek

Isnt pizza sauce a bland version of the jar pasta sauces they always have on sale? When I make my own pizzas, I just throw a jar of sauce in the blender and its so much better and easier. I have less of a specialty item taking up space too! HTH.

      • No, they're not.  The chicken is $4 for 6 cans, that's horrible no matter the brand. The Tomatoes…please??!!!  I never pay more than .50/can for name brand tomatoes anymore, much less the store brand.  Pizza sauce…horrible….Ragu Homemade Pizza Sauce 14 oz BOGO $1.49 was on sale 04/25-05/03…so they jack the price up 50 cents for one and give you their brand for free????!!!  HOLY COW!Another prime example of why I say, if it ain't meat or BOGO w/ coupons, it ain't worth buying at Publix.

        • APKQueen

Thx for the well put together post.  You gave a lot of good info!

        • squirrelhater

Whaaa?I've got a pantry full of free tomatoes from the last big hunts/muir glen thing Publix had and I would never buy ragu anywhere at any price as long as Publix keeps having B1G1 Bertolli every few weeks.Publix is awesome, but NOT for meats. That's what ingles/Bi-Lo is for (when there's a sale).Maybe I'm just spoiled by living in the Glorious Sparkle City area.Judging by the others comments,we must have the best Publix,Rite-aid,etc…not to mention strawberry hill USA(chesnee area) and sunnydale meats(gaffney area)and all of the produce stands and local farmer's markets. On my way to Publix now…w/a 15yr. old in the rain-proof positive-I love me some Publix!!!!Hope to use couple rain checks today too.Publix is  best in the world for rainchecks…besides CVS that is….better luck,Jerry Lane.

          • Khjbcoupns

i just returned from publix and they had every thing on my coupon list.. walked out with 79.00 in groceries and only paid 26.00.. i wanted to do the buy theirs and get ours free deal but my publix was not doing it…north of atlanta.. go figure…  combine that deal with the others i got on sale items, bogo, and coupons and it starts to add up jerry lane…

            • Thekogers

HOW did you do this??????  I am new at couponing and the best I have been able to do so far is save $20-$30 short of what I spent.  Dont get me wrong I am saving money and Publix in LC Florida is better than any other store we have but I am struggling seeing the coupons make the purchase worth it.  I would love any wisdom you would have to share.

Family of 8 with only a small state salary…..We are grateful for my husbands job but he hasn't seen a raise in 6 yrs so we try to feed the family of a very tight budget.

            • Fire_kat

We have finally gotten our bill from around $110 to average $50 per week. We clip tons of coupons and do loads of ad matching and we look fro items that will have overage to help reduce your balance :) It takes work but can be done:)

            • Smamf1922

It will take you several weeks to get the hang of what you really should be doing: only buying what is on sale and with a coupon!
That's hard to do but once you get to that place where you've gotten the deals on the laundry, bath, such stuff that there is so much of, then you can take the money you'd have spent on this and use else where.
Don't just print out q's because you think you'll use them, it wastes ink and that costs once you realize how many you throw away.
You're doing good to save 20-30 now!!!  Keep working on it.  I'm still learning now that I've been doing it for 6-8 months.  Enjoy your savings, no matter what they are!!!

    • LeslieT

My local Publix also included Bush's black beans in the Buy Theirs, Get Ours special this week.  Just FYI

    • How do I get the ConAgra coupons?  Is there a mailing list to sign up for? Thanks.

      • Frugal Mama

I have this same question. Did you ever get an answer?

    • Cddasher

Apparently the Publix in Valdosta, GA does not double coupons up to $.50, I just returned home and figured out why my deals did not work out. :(

      • Sweetiee

Noone in Valdosta doubles coupons.  Unfortunately!

        • carli21

harvey's will up to 50 cents and fred's in lake park will up to 70 cents on saturday's if you can find your special deals thier

          • coupon

Which Harvey's?  I went to the one by the mall and they said they no longer double.

      • Guest

Leesburg, Ga (near Albany) won't either! Found that out the hard way myself!
