    • Dora

Wow, if you can find this flyer and they still have the .55 cent coupons on the Marie Callender dinners you can get 6 of them for $3.67.
      B1G1 @ $2.99 (1.50 each)
      (6) .55 coupon on boxes
      (1) $2/6 store coupon
Wish I had seen this yesterday when I did my shopping.

      • Dora

By the way, that makes them .61 a piece.

    • Sue

Just curious. Was the fine print note on the flyer. If so, then if the store is out of them, they are also out of the “fine print notes”, so who would know that there is an alternate way to get the rebate? LOL! Only Southern Savers!

      • Thanks for seeing the humor in that too :) I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets a kick out of things that manufacturer's do.

    • Robin

I was at the Publix at Lake Murray Landing just an hour ago and they did not have this yet???

    • I called the 888 number and it was a recording for a gift card offer. It says all submissions have been processed and mailed. Either they haven't changed over their message for this new promo or something. There's not a way to talk to a person and ask either.

    • Meme

Publix in Anderson, SC has a Summer Savings booklet but it doesn't look like this. They seem frustrated with people asking for the booklets lately. They have made a bundle of everything they have (one of each flyer) and hand it over saying, “This is all the flyers we have”. Does anyone know if Greenville, SC stores have the above booklet? My daughter works up there occasionally and may be able to pick up a couple.

      • rosewood4

There are a lot of people at my publix here in greenville( old buncome rd) that act like I just ruined their day by asking for the store coupons, and they are short and snappy with me . Funny thing is most of them seem to be in Management. Maybe we should complain. Oh and my flyer looks nothing like the one Jenny posted a picture of either. If someone could share with me how you post a picture on here ,I will put it up. It is a “summer savings” booklet that says it only has $35 in coupon, and there is no rebate in it.

        • mollie456

Go to the one by office depot on Wade Hampton. They are awesome and never give me any grief about coupons. They have even said “this isn't the right bottle, let me get you the size that goes with this coupon.” Also the one by Greenville Tech must not have SS shoppers because their store coupons are usually out with their sale flyers.

        • There are actually two different booklets. The one you are thinking of looks like this, I'm guessing:

        • xtaxlady

I am in that same Publix you shop at every week and the first thing I do is stop by the customer service counter to ask for coupon booklets. I have NEVER had any of them give me a hard time about the coupons… getting them or using them. In fact I used my first expired coupon (exp 5/30) yesterday on the Dial hand soap with no problem even when I pointed it out to the cashier. They will accept expired if they fall within the
week before they send them in. Sorry you are having a problem.

        • Patty

If you go on Publix website and contact them about the management/associates they will contact you and DO something about it! I've had to do it in the past.

      • katie.greenvillesaver

The Publix downtown off McBee Street had the above coupon booklet! I just picked one up two days ago. The employees there are super nice when I ask for coupon booklets at the customer service desk. Sometimes I go to the Publix out on Reidville Road in Duncan and they are SUPER nice there too.

    • linda

I know this is not related to this topic . All the ingles in anderson, sc just stop taking internet coupons this week. Just a heads up. I tried both stores myself.

      • rosewood4

you need to email the regional director, there is a mis communication between corporate and the stores. And then the policy gets even more screwed up as it goes from managers to cashiers. I had the same problem in greenville about two months ago.

    • ivey

has this been spotted in Montgomery, AL yet? Also our Publix started taking Target cpns again!

    • ANGELA

Does anyone know if your total publix receipt has to be 50.00 or over or is it pre-coupon?

    • Tina

Publix in Ooltewah said they had NO coupons.

    • mollie456

Just a thought that I know I am going to get slammed for. I love this site and use it every week. But I also think that there are some out there that take advantage making it harder and harder for stores to be gracious about coupons. I shop at a Publix that actually has the store coupons out with the sale flyers. I think this is because there aren't many SS type shoppers that go to this store so they can leave them out without worrying about someone taking the entire stack of store coupons. If people didn't abuse the system, there wouldn't be a problem. To me, that is like walking through the store peeling all the coupons off the packages without buying the product or removing the entire tear pad from the display or taking all the Sunday papers out of the vending machine when you only pay for one. The deals are good enough without moving into an area that I feel is basically stealing. Maybe it is just me and I am just not diligent enough, but I spend a good bit of time planning shopping trips and clipping coupons and consistently save about 50% on my bill. This is enough for me and I am elated by it. Buying $100 worth of groceries for $7.36 week after week after week in my mind is not possible without abusing the system. Maybe I am wrong. Just saying because stores aren't going to let this go on and eventually are going to stop doubling or stacking store coupons or lessen their sales or something to make up for it which will ruin it for everyone in the end.

      • Amy

I agree with you, but I dont think Publix is losing any money considering they get reimbursed for the coupons for the most part (except competitor and the doubling part. I can see what you are saying though…maybe there will be a time where they will start limiting the quanity of items one can purchase at a time like CVS. I think they realize that they are building a huge customer base by allowing people to get such great deals and it would be harmful to the business if they just stopped all of a sudden. Plus, think of all the shoppers who dont use coupons…Publix is pretty expensive on most things (higher than Walmart) unless they are on sale. But yes, please dont take ALL the peelies and not buy the product…and I cant even imagine people paying for 1 paper and then taking all of them!!! How rude and dishonest!! I can see a few minor adjustments in the future with those topics, but I dont think Publix will stop doubling of taking coupons anythime soon. (knock on wood)

        • Penny

You all are so right! As for the people who don't use coupons, there are plenty of them! I know. They are the ones huffing and puffing behind me in line! Yea, until they see or ask the cashier…”how much did she just save?” lol I've been couponing/rebating for over 30 years, way before it was popular and the internet!

      • Amy

Oh yeah, like one lady posted a few days ago about the one lady who had like 12 Bic Razors and 8 Infusium Shampoo and Conditioners(all that was on the shelf)……I think in those cases when people are THAT RUDE that Publix should put some type of limit on those items, because she was (in my eyes) abusing the system. Thats just me though..but that thought really made me mad!

        • tanya

I am tired of having to get to my publix at 7 am (I have to drive 30 miles to get there) in order to get anything. If there is anything that can be stacked or would be free w/coupons, it is like a mad dash to get the item. I have been trying to get Infusium since May 23, and it has been out of stock since then and probably will be till the store coupon expires. I got a raincheck but the coupn will still be expired. I love the deals I get there, and I am nowhere near a lot of you guys who go in and only pay a few dollars. but I consistently save money which is why I continue to do this. but does a person really need 8 cans of Reddi whip just cause they can get it so cheap? I wish people would use common sense. Most of us couponers are doing it for the right reasons–to be good stewards of our money or to free up money to pay bills, etc. some poeple just take advantage of it and then rob the honest ones the opportunity to save.

      • Yes there are people who will go in and take an entire stack of booklets, but to ASSUME that everyone who is walking out paying pennies is doing this is a poor assumption. I rarely pay more than a few dollars for my groceries/transactions at Publix and I do not take entire stacks of booklets/tearpads, etc. I collect my coupons over time and have been couponing for well over two years now.
I really hate it when people assume I must be doing something that is wrong/borderline illegal/or just plain rude simply because I am good at saving money. That is a negative connotation I get from non-couponers, so to get that from couponers as well is downright irritating.

Opinions are fine and everyone has one of course, but I wouldn't judge or make assumptions about people when you have no idea what they are doing.

        • oh and our stores DO limit deals to 6 per person (within reason) so it IS possible to pay little to nothing week after week and not do anything “wrong”.

          • mollie456

I pay little to nothing week after week at CVS, but not on my total grocery bill. How do you buy milk, meat and produce and pay little to nothing? I honestly want to know.

        • mollie456

I am not judging you. Relax. I have seen with my own eyes people taking the whole tear pad and using 5 CVS cards for one household. I did not say you do that, but there is no denying that people do and it is frustrating. There are posts on this site about using 8 internet coupons to buy things when the coupon site limits you to print only two. I could not feed our family of six for a few dollars a week. I am a pretty smart cookie and a pretty good couponer but I buy a lot of fresh produce and meats and seafood. If you do it week after week, I am happy for you. Maybe worry a little less what people think if you know in your heart you are doing a good thing. Pat yourself on the back and offer to show them how you do it. No one ever gives me a hard time about my couponing except my husband teasing me. I have never seen suspicion from anyone or gotten the impression that they thought I was doing something wrong.

        • Beth

Ditto Brandy K! Just sitting here thinking the same thing. I PAY for several papers (4-6) each week (depending on the q's) and also get my mom's, sisters, in-laws. I shop for my mom, and in-laws simply because they don't understand how to use coupons and combinations of q's. I don't think they should have to miss out on the deals simply because they are unaware on how to use the q's. Lord knows everyone these day's need to save money!

          • Beth

I totally disagree with people taking whole tear pads or even part of them! I can't believe people are BOLD enough to do that! I do think you can pay pennies on the dollar but still be an honest couponer. I do get the STINK eye from some people when I come through the line and my buggy full of groceries costs me 75% less than what they just paid/ or will pay. I gladly offer any tips/info that can help someone save on their grocery bill.

      • Anna

I was thinking the same thing this week. It would be a tragedy for stores to stop doubling their coupons. We should definitely be grateful and not abuse the blessing of extreme couponing.

      • Donna

I agree. My Publix has started to keep the coupon papers behind the coiunter. This does cause me to miss out on deals that I do not know about. If everyone took one or even 2 then there would be enough for all of us couponers. It is very frustrating to not get the products I like or want because others have taken way more than they will ever use. I usually try to keep in to 3-4 ao as to let others enjoy they savings.

      • Katie

I completely agree with you Mollie. I stopped by my local Publix (Fayetteville, GA) last Sunday and one of the items on my list was the Bic Soleil razors that were B1G1 and there were also really good coupons. I didn't see any with the other razors so I asked an employee and was told they were out because some lady had come in and bought 25 (and she had a bunch of coupons). Ridiculous! Even if you are donating them, how can you possibly justify that? I guess she didn't attend Jenny's workshop where she talks about how the in-store coupon dispensers hesitate after you take to 2 as if to say “Are you sure you need another one?” Keep it reasonable and everybody wins.

      • carolyn090

times are a changing .i am a third gen. coupon shoper . alot of us follow the rules and in times like these we have no choice but to save every dollar we can (the right way ) so i feel the same way please dont make it harder for the rest of us. mabe some people feel it is ok to go in w/ five 5/25 rite aid coupons just because your actual total was 125.00 before all other coupons that would leave you only paying pennies on the dollar .(thats one way to get free meat or milk ect.but, is it right)publix may get credit for it but they do not get the money back. but its up to each individual what they are willing to do . if thats the case then they must need it more than i do .i am happy for the deals i get ,and thanks to jenny and you all i save time doing so. i just not willing to go there . my best publix 64.11 oop saved 154.34 the 64.11 was meats, produce, and a pack of diapers .enuff everything for a week.in my eyes thats darn good!

    • Cindy

My publix did not have this form nor did they know anything about it. I called using the above phone # and it was for a Publix Gift Card. Anyone else know how to get this rebate form?

    • Terri

I have checked with my Publix every other week or so about coupon books (various ones that have been mentioned) and they always say they don't have them. Any suggestions?

      • charmaine

I am on the phone with Piblix now June 5,2010 and the sales person said the booklet are out now.

    • Sue

The Publix in Ooltewah, TN doesn't require you to physically have the coupon if it is a Publix coupon. They will look it up and key in the LU # for you, if you know that Publix has a coupon out there.
It may be helpful if anyone that has that flyer would list the coupons with LU# s and then all of us who do not have one could at least try to use the LU # at check out.
Thank you for all the time you put into this website.

    • redteapot

My daughter and I both have been to two different Publix stores in our town a few times and they have been out of the Infusium 23 shampoo & cond. all week. I am beginning to wonder if the stores have discovered that couponers are getting them for free and have not stocked their shelves on purpose. I wonder if anyone thinks this is possible??? Would the stores do something like that or am I just having vain imaginations in my frustration??? :)

      • Dana

I feel your frustrations. Publix will give you rainchecks for sale items as long as they are not an ADVANTAGE buy item.
Just go to the customer service desk and ask.

      • Rongreer820

The fact is that an “out of stock” situation occurs in the WAREHOUSE because those stores that keep up on the coupon deals try to buy enough to take care of the couponeers. Publix DOES NOT want a dissatisfied customer. All I can suggest is to get a raincheck and hope that the warehouse is restocked before the coupon expires.
Just as a reminder, not all publix stores keep up on coupon deals. If that is happening at your store, make friends with the store management and persons within certain key departments and let them know which items to stock up on. They will be glad you did. They do not want to be out of a sale item. If you tell them soon enough, maybe they can get the sale items from the warehouse before it runs out of the item.

    • fdixon

Does anyone know if the total spending is before or after coupons? Thanks! there is a tearpad out with just the refund form. So be on the look out. I'm in Homestead Florida.

      • Stephanie in Bham

Just called the number on the back of the booklet and the person I spoke with said BEFORE coupons. 6/9/10 @ 12:27pm CDT

    • Susan

I called 1-888-532-8999. The lady who answered informed me that the $50 total is after coupons (amount I pay). Did anyone else receive the same information?

      • I just called and the lady said it was before coupons. 06/08/2010 12:00pmCST

    • Susan

I forgot to add that (according to the phone lady) you can only use the participating products listed on the form. Healthy Choice, Banquet, Hunts Pasta Sauce, Kid Cuisine, & others that aren't listed are Not included in offer.

      • Patty

I live in Atlanta, GA and I believe this is the one that was included in the paper, Atlanta Journal Constitution? Do they also have another kind at the store? They are usually at the front at my Publix. Off the subject. When I moved here from Florida I was so homesick. I went into a Publix and it was like home! Silly I know, but I felt so welcomed there. They are always so nice and friendly at mine. In there so much, we are on a first name basis!

    • mommydub

Has anyone seen this flyer in Cumming, GA?

    • Arbyrd

Question about these booklets: It says they are store coupons and are redeemable at Publix only, but the bar code starts with a “5”…..so doesnt that mean manufacturer? Im just confused, wondering whether it can be stacked with a regular manufact coupon?
