    • Justagirlfromtn

I'm new to this and would like very much to understand it fully. A friend of mine told me about the site and I'm so excited to start saving. So spread the word! I have.

u talk about good housekeeping but what month are u talking about where u sure the $5 pepsi cpn. u dont say what month the pepsi $5 cpn is in

        • GAIL BERGER

          • couponnut

It is in the March issue on page 127!! Awesome coupon that can be used on several different items.

      • Mamaberry

Welcome :) You should DEFINITELY start at the top of Jenny's page. The 'learn to coupon' link will teach you step by step what to do.

My advice? Start small, and don't feel like you have to get everything. Just take your time, get used to it with one store and don't stress. The deals repeat every 4-6 weeks so if you miss it this time, you will feel a little more comfortable in a month or so and will catch it next time.

I was obsessed when i started 2 years ago with getting every deal, whether I needed it or not. Don't get overwhelmed, or you will spend more than you will save.

        Have fun!

    • Jennifer

Gillette men's body wash is on clearance at my Publix at Alpharetta Commons in GA for $3.00.

      • Lauren

It's on sale right now at Kroger for $3, plus there is a P&G e-coupon for it ($1 off I think), as well as a paper coupon in the most recent P&G insert to get the body wash for free when you buy a Gillette deodorant at $3.

    • Kimberly

Checking the clearance rack is a great place for bargains. Keep in mind that they may only affect that one store. Sister stores have differing stock.

    • acureforall

Are these “target web coupons” the same as mfrs. coupons? For example, I just printed the one for $2/3 Oscar Mayer lunch meat (as per the link posted next to the publix deal). Why the link for a coupon you can't use on that deal? Kind of misleading and confusing.

      • Coupons090

they are store coupons .some publix take them as comp. coupons you would have to call your store to see if they will take them .i live in fla. so i will have to buy 6 to use both coupons from target.but in the end i will get 6/5.50.good freezer deal with summer around the corner.these deals tend to be regional so it may not be b1g1 at your store, so check before you print.hth

      • Lala1530

Publix will take all store coupons. So the Target coupon will work there.

        • No, each Publix will only take coupons from places they consider a competitor and that list will vary from store to store.

      • Fcaj1994

Some Publix stores will take a competitors coupon such as Target if they are close in distance and I think it must be a Super Target that has a grocery store inside.

        • The Target here in Savannah, GA is not Super Target and the Publix will take their coupons.

    • Lane

The sun dried tomatoes mentioned above were an in-store special last week, so don't count on them being B1G1 free this week. It sounds like it was an accident that the sign didn't get taken down in the particular store where Amy was shopping.

    • Ari0429

Publix in Auburndale has a sign that states: “effective Thursday March 3rd, we will limit all Buy One Get One (BOGO) free purchaes to 5 deals for a total of 10 items. We will take only one competitor coupon per customer (example- $5.00 off $50.00 or more). Any verbage on coupons must be followed (example- “one coupon per person”). Any questions please ask for a manager. Thanks for shopping at Publix.”

      • Catiei

      • Mamaberry

Yeah, it's a corporate thing. Found this out last week. Doesn't make much sense though. Just means we have to break down our shopping trips and make multiple stops throughout the week. A lot of us don't have that kind of time!

        • Amy B.

I am actually 100% ok with this policy. I can't think of anything that I need more than 10 of for a 6 week cycle. As far as competitors coupons go, I'm thankful that they take any – most stores don't. Following verbage on the coupons is also a no brainer – that is our contract with the manufacturer to use the coupon. If we can't follow the rules, we shouldn't use the coupon.

          • Mamaberry

            Guess I should have specified:

I don't mind the limit on the BOGO deals, well usually. There are 6 of us to feed so some things disappear a package per day. So, even 10 apple sauces aren't going to last us 2 weeks, let alone 6.

The mfg q's – I always follow the rules. I don't believe in NOT doing so.

Finally, competitor (which was the focus of my comment, but it was late) – My store, even the CS staff disagreed but complies – obviously. So, a $5/$25 gets me not so far. Hence the several stops a week. And, two of the 3 major stores in our area take competitor q's so we have options where I'm at.

Either way, it is what it is. Just adjust to the changes and move on, I suppose.

        • Cindylou

I think at the Auburndale some of the coupon' ers have just gotten out of hand.. as this is NOT applicable at ALL Publix! The Store manager at each location sets the coupon standards. Example we have NEW Q policy too… At MY Publix we can now STACK competitor Q's as long as $$ requirement is reached with each one. For example HT has $10.00 off $40 purchase and Pig has $5 off $25 purchase and Publix has $5 off $25 purchase ..if I spend $90 in groceries.. I can now use ALL THREE on same ORDER!!! I am in Mt Pleasant and my Publix is Parkwest..it is the BEST!!! They DO follow the verbage on each coupon as to what requirements and restrictions are, but you can USE THEM!! BIG SAVINGS!!! FRIENDLY STAFF!!!

          • Cindylou

And I forgot to add that on this same purchase mentioned above ..I can also buy THREE $50 gas cards for a total of $150 in gas for $120 WOO HOO!! Without any other Q's I have already saved $50 and I would be buying the gas anyway..just paid for in advance.. lol

      • Lauren

Looks like we're all going to have to make a lot more shopping trips in a week to get our deals then.

    • Cdayo4

Where did you find the B6 vitamins for 3.59? Mine were 5.59 before Q's. Already bought, just wondering if I should have gotten it free.

      • Pepsi1williams

They are 3.59 at my publix in canton ga but they were out.

      • Lauren

Some Publix stores don't sell the ones listed at 3.59. The cheaper ones are a lower dosage than the ones you got. I noticed this at one of my local stores.

      • Paulette

I get mine for $3.59 in N. Alabama. Bought several when they last had the $6/2 in the green flier. They are labeled a new item..

    • Cdayo4

Anyone having problems using lots of coupons today? Planning to shop tomorrow…

    • Barneysgrl1

Im new to this, can you use a target printable coupon with a printable manufactures coupon? Or do they only allow target coupons with newspaper manufacturer coupons?

      • Mamaberry

Yes, but to be sure you'd have to ask your store. You shouldn't have a problem using two printables. But, it may not hurt to ask if you are not sure about your stores policy. I have NEVER run into a problem with this. The only problem you may have is if your store doesn't take Target q's, because a lot don't. hth!

    • Tinascoupons1

I know most sites will allow you to only print two coupons. However, I noticed on the site “New York Style” the two coupons are PDF's. On the site it had the number of downloads permitted but you could print numerous coupons from each PDF. I know the scanner code is the same on each copy, I assume this makes a difference. Am I understanding this correctly??

      • Hildawins

My Publix in 31028 will not take them if they have the same code.

    • Momx2

The Publix in Trussville, AL does not have the Maria's dressing or the lunch meat on sale. I even got them to call a manager and they would not honor.

      • ashleyc138

Im in the Alabaster/Helena area, its not offenin i see someone so close on here, who do they consider a com. there??

      • Hildawins

This has happened to me as well, only 1 or 2 items show up in Warner Robins GA as on the sale listed under unadvertised..

    • Hildawins

I love your site! I have save from 30-55% on my grocery bill since I started couponing. Is there a list somewhere of all the facebook sites for coupons? I created a facebook account just for couponing to keep it away from annoying my friends.

    • Laura

My Publix has Red Diamond 24 family size tea bags on clearance
      1.25 for regular
      1.50 for decaf

    • Anna

Cesar Canine Cuisine Dog Treats, 6.7 oz, $3
There is a $2.00 off coupon on Smartsource coupons that you can print out.
Making them $1. =) My pooch LOVES them!

    • Laurend

I just started this, but I found Wanchai Ferry 24 oz. frozen entrees 2/$7.99. There are $1.50 /1 manufacturer coupons on coupons.com, and $1.50/1 Target coupons. That makes it 2 for $2.00. I think that's a pretty good deal. :) I love this site!

      • Susie

I think you can use a M & T coupons for each 24oz Wanchai, that would make it $1.99 for both.

      • Kat

I think this must have been last week because I stopped by today and they were &.99 each :( $1 each would have been great!

    • Bonnie

Question on the B1G1 milk bone dog treats. I have two coupons: one is for $1.50 when you buy two milk bone dog treats and the other coupon is for when you buy two milk bone dog treats you get a bag of the new soft milk bone dog treat free. I thought I could use both, but my publix said this is like using two coupons on the same product…..please explain.

      • Jme9190

It isn't. I did something similar when the Beggin Strips were BOGO. I used two $ off coupons for the strips and 2 buy the strips get something free.

The 1.50 off applies to the biscuts.
The Free item applies to the soft treats.

Point this out to the cashier next time. This happened a few nights ago when I used a $ off bread and $ off produce when you buy the bread. The cashier didn't read it closely enough but when I pointed it out she said “Oh nevermind Im sorry”. Just remember to be nice about it and they will help you. :)

      • Imousework

I did the Milk Bone deal Friday night. I bought ten boxes of the Milk Bone treats and got five bags of the soft treats free. My cashier had no problem.

    • NorthALCouponer

Does anyone know when the Good Housekeeping $5 off 3 participating products coupon expires? Is it considered a manufacturer's coupon or a store coupon? I have been having a hard time finding it here in North AL, seems like either it has been cleared out of all the local bookstores or there is a problem with shipping here.

      • Dianne

It is a store coupon, and it expires 3/31. I found it in my mother's subscription GH on page 127. I mention my mother's magazine because she lives in MS, where there are no Publix stores.

        • Mjb11822

          thanks for posting page #!!!

        • Violet

Hey Dianne, Txs for the heads up on that coupon, do you remember what month it was in? I subscribe to GH, but guess I totally missed that!

          • Ruth

      • Terri

Thank you! My friend and I picked up some propel tonight and I gave a couple propel coupons to a very friendly and informative Publix employee. Customer service is the BEST at the Northwood Plaza Publix in Clearwater, FL.

    • Becky

In the WinnDixie coupon flyer, there is a coupon for $1 off crayola begginings product. I found them at my publix for $2.99. Thank you cheap Christmas gifts!! I try to buy sales/clearence all year so it doesn't hurt to buy at Christmas. Thanks for all you do for us!! I LOVE couponing, it has saved our family on average 60% of our grocery bill every week!

    • guest

Nutella was 2/$6. I just tried it for the first time…OMG that is yummy.

    • Jebraden

Did I miss the BOGO for the Kibbles and Bits Dog food that was mentioned a few weeks ago. I held on to my coupons but havent seen the deal.

      • Megortiz63

No, I think its in a few weeks still – I'm waiting on that sale as well!

    • HM1968

Stouffer's Family Size meals are $3.99 at our Publix in Columbia, SC. With the coupons (some $2 and some $1) you can feed a family of 4 for only $2! We stock up on the lasagnas at this price. They're good to be frozen dinners. Just wanted to pass it along…

    • Heartwarr

My Publix will not take the Target coupon for the Deli select for the basic lunch meat.

    • Momofboys

Went to Publix tonight and didn't find any of these things at the sale prices. I was told by the manager that these were LAST week's specials, not on sale this week.
      : (

      • Kat

The sale week starts on Wed.
