Thanks, been waiting on this one to go tomorrow.

    • Thehistoryofus.wordpress.com

Not a lot of great sales this week at Publix. Thats ok because I still have plenty of juice and pasta!

Looking forward to the new Yellow Advantage Buy promotions!

    • AshATL

Is it a sign of coupon addiction that I've been reloading the home page since 6pm waiting for the Publix ad? I thought so…

      • Ashley

Haha glad to know im not the only one :)

      • Donna

I hope you weren't doing that for 3 hours?! Jenny can only post it at a certain time so usually around 9 – 9:30…HTH so you are not waiting too long next time! lol

        • moneysaved4disney

Do you know why that is? I am not complaining, but just asking. My store will give me the ad for the next week on Tues when I do my shopping, so just wondering.

      • Lisa

It's not coupon addiction – it's a family budget keeper taking their job seriously! We eat SOOO much better with coupons. Thanks to Jenny and all the others who post their great finds on this site.

    • Mdsmoak

The new All You Magazine for December has a Q for DOVE PROMISES, chocolate for $0.55

    • LisaW53

I don't remember which insert or what date because I clipped the coupon (this was before I started saving the whole insert)…but there was a Target store coupon in my coupons from the Atlanta Journal Constitution for $1 off of Bounty 6ct or larger paper towels. If you have this coupon, it can be combined with one of the manufacturer coupons:)

      • LisaW53

I found the insert…the Target $1 off coupon was in the RP 10/17 insert…

    • Sabrina

Thank you! I look forward to this every week!

    • Lexihuron

Thank you so much for all your hard work! I really enjoy coming here every week! May the Lord richly bless you!

    • Loving the .99 cent Lasagna! Minus the Q, and that is a good deal. Hasn't been included in a BOGO in almost a year!

      • Diane

Where do you see 99 cent Lasagna? Am I blind? LOL

        • Amy B.

        • Mueller's lasagna noodles and large shells are .99. Under GROCERY, I believe.

        • Elizabeth M.

I think they meant the Mueller's pasta deal

    • Toni

If you purchased the Ocean Spray juices that had the $1/2 fresh cranberries peelies on them awhile back, don't forget to use them this week to make your fresh cranberry orange relish.

    • Liz

If something is B1G1, do you have to buy 2 or can you just buy one at the lower price?

      • Kmanganaro

If you are in FL you have to buy both but I belive that every where else they ring up half price

    • ams

The .50/1 Wishbone Dressing coupon comes with your 1st NEWSLETTER, so you have to check that you want newsletter(I didn't). I didn't read that until it was too late. Warning you so you will “check” that you want newsletter(so you will get your .50 coupon).

      • Grisy

I did that last night but have not gotten the actual newsletter yet, so I am not sure about that coupon!

    • Micouponing

The Publix store out #6 towards Ballentine no longer takes Target coupons.

      • Val

    • sharon

new style bagel crisps 1.25 coupon exp. 12-31 but I don't know whih book it came from

    • Allison

The Oscar Mayer bacon Target coupon expires 12/15 not 11/15- figured that out when I printed it off, but it takes away the coupon so I can't print it off again. This is the first time I've had that happen while printing Target coupons. I've always been able to go back and print another. What's happening!?!? I want more bacon!!!!

      • sars

it's weird — sometimes you get 2 prints of a target coupon, and sometimes you just get 1. and there's no way of knowing whether you'll get 1 or 2. argh. love me some bacon too. :-)

        • The History of Us

I agree, it seems like some of my Target coupons will print twice and others only once

      • Donna

The same coupon had the 11/15 expiration date. They just put up the same coupons but with a new exp date 12/15.

      • Lisa

Try a second computer – we have two in our home – the Target coupons seem to print one or two per computer – not per network. If you REALLY want the bacon coupons – go to your local library. I have been known to do that for items I value highly and want more of – my library charges a dime to print and you can get 3 Target coupons per page. 3.3 cents per coupon. My local Target is right across the street from the local library – so I can print and shop. I'm in Clermont, Florida. Oh yes, you will need to download program to print – it's easy. Target site does all the prompting.

      • Allison

Well thanks guys! At least I know that I'm not going crazy now. I'm very passionate about my Oscar Mayer bacon! It's the best around and I jump on any sale I see of that stuff. Oscar Mayer even makes turkey bacon taste good!

    • Hesperides

There was a tearpad with DD coffee – .50/1 and inside the winter flavored bags there is a $1/1 off printed on the inside

There was a .50/1 coupon for any Sister Schubert's product in the 11/14 Smart Source in my Birmingham News.

    • Snjohnson48

Am I the only one who is missing the Swiss Miss, Nabisco and Breakstone Sour Cream coupons out of the SS from 11/14 – I live in South Carolina and bought 4 papers and they are missing in all 4, any help would be appreciated?

      • Ilikefree

No, I didn't any of those in the Greenville paper (bummer)

      • AshATL

There was a $1 off two coupon in the November ALL YOU if that helps. You can buy it at WalMart, assuming they haven't replaced it with the Dec. issue yet. The coupon is in an insert, which also contains a $1.00 off Orville Redenbocker coupon and a Hunts coupon, so for me the magazine was worth it right there!

    • Great week for me!! Thanks, Jenny!

    • Oceanbreezeandme

I found $2/2 peelies on Oreos the other day and they are also good for Ritz Snowflake, RITZ Fudge covered Cookies.

      • Patricia

please assure us that you bought the Oreos first before removing the peelies….

I am so dismayed by what seems to be a huge increase in the number of stolen peelies on packages in my grocery stores – and don't even get me started on the woman I saw pocketing an entire tearpad of coupons…

    • Allison

      There's a coupon for .50/any 1 Sister Schubert's product in SS 11/14

    • Meges01

In the 10/31 PG there is a $2 off clariol family coupon. The herbal essence shampoo is that family so you could use it to make it. 39. But this week riteaid has a better deal as well.

      • Meghan

you got that right!!! My sister just scored 11 bottles of Herbal Essense shampoos and conditioners and paid $ 0.86 o.o.p with the $2 coupon and rolling her UP rewards!! Awesome. I have 7 of those coupons and I'm going tomorrow to score my loot!! ha haa haa

      • gardengirl

        Great…thank you!!!!

      • Amy B.

The coupon you are referring to was intended for the Clairol family of Hair Color products. P&G is already really stingy with their coupons, and people using this on Herbal Essences is just going to make that worse. I know technically it may work today, but then you realize that long term this will hurt the consumer/manufacturer relationship. Everybody has to make their own decision, but there are legitimately free shampoo deals all the time so I'll wait another week for one of those. Jenny is very discerning and that's probably why she hasn't listed that coupon or deal.

    • Jessie

I sure am glad I got my list printed out early this week! It's going to take some time to get all of my coupons together for this many great deals!!

    • Angie78love

heres your deal idea heres what i dont get where are these 2 soda coupons ? thanks

      • Marina115

All the info is listed right above that deal scenario.

    • VB Coach

IS anyone else having trouble printing coupons off the Kellogg's site? Every time I log in it takes me to the coupons and then asks me to log in to print. I log in and it does the same thing again. It is a vicious cycle.

    • Bradyfigueroa

My Hellman's coupon is for .50 off 1….woo hoo!

    • Bradfigueroa

And I also have several .40 off 1 Land o Lakes butter…I have been patiently waiting for this. This is a commissary coupon.

    • Clarar60

Can anyone tell me what the school saving is? Thanks

      • gardengirl

what q are you referring to? There was a school saving booklet that came out a couple of months ago w/ q's in it.

        • Rudydoescakes

No she's asking about the school key chain cards, like a kroger plus card. A small amount of what you spend go towards the school you choose. Ours are located by the front door on the wall.

      • Do you mean the School Partners program where your school benefits when shop at Publix? This is a little key tag you'll get from your school and just scan it as you checkout. Then your school gets a tiny percentage of what you spent.

A lot of stores also keep tags handy for schools around them that you can ask them to scan for you.

    • Beth

December's All You also has a Sister Shubert's coupon in it.

    • Patty

Are there any Publix in Atlanta area that will take Family Dollar coupons?

    • ShuChin

Thank you-Jenny for all the great saving. This is my favor website

My daughters got me into the couponing since January this year.

I'm having so much fun learned a better way to shop.

You are the best! God's blessing to you and your family.

    • gardengirl

is anyone else having a problem getting the yellow advantage flyer section to print?

    • Suzanne

Also a $1/3 Birds Eye (excluding Steamfresh) in SS 11/14.

    • Samanthadare

several of the Betty Crocker Muffin Mix coupons state “DO NOT DOUBLE”..my Publix in SC will catch that. Make sure you take the right ones in to get the 29 cent price. :)

      • kaseyshadow

According to the store manager in Harbison they are not supposed the doubling. If they do take to CS or the manager. According to him ( think his name is cory) all manufacture coupons should double if they are $0.50 or less.

    • Carenkross

I found a q for $1.25 off M&m's when you buy Orville Redenbacher popcorn. It was in a box of popcorn that i bought the last time it was on sale.

    • Carenkross

My q for Ragu is not for buy 2 and get 1 free (sauce). It actually is for buy 2 sauces and get 1 free pasta– Mueller's is on sale!

    • Ashley

My 11/14 ss had a b1g1 coupon for ziploc containers! This will go great with all of my Christmas candy!

      • Lucy

You'd be able to buy 4 packages of the containers and use two B1G1 free coupons, four Publix Advantage flyer store $1 off coupons and one $1.50/2 manufacturer's coupon. After the dust settles, you'll be paid $.50 for the four packages of Ziploc containers.

        • Lrwaabc

can you use the $1.50/2 manf. coupons when you've already used two B1G1 manf. coupons?

          • Lucy

Yes. Since you are buying four packages and the two B1G1 free coupons “attach” to the two items that you are getting for free, you are able to use coupons on the remaining two packages that you are paying for. Since the coupon that we're using in this case is a $1.50/2 coupon, we can only use the single coupon for those remaining two items. Of course we can use a Publix store coupon for each of the items purchased.

    • What a great week at Publix! The news just said that the Charleston area local food bank is in need of help for the National Food Drive, so at these prices… DONATE, DONATE, DONATE! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

      • Homeisthebeachnow

These are great prices for donating! I donate to my daughters high school food pantry-looks like it will be a good haul this week:)

    • Kendra

Kroger had a $1 off coupon for the Crisco oil in the 11/14 paper. Kro

ger had several ads in that paper. It was a part of the extra add. This would make the oil $. 99 !!!

      • ALMOM3

Stock up time…that's what I did at a Winn Dixie store about a month ago…vegetable oil lasts 12 months (looked up online). I purchased 34 for $9.72! I did a special order with the manager. Always talk with the manager about purchasing in bulk on these types of deals! I did a bulk order on the Publix baby food last week for a food bank donation and ended up paying less than $20 for 20 cases and the grocery manager purchased an additional 4 cases! I love Publix and Winn Dixie just because of deals like this and the way the managers go out their way for the public to save $ and to help others.

      • Lrwaabc

i didn't see any coupons in my kroger ad…

        • Chiefsangeleyes

It wasn't in the ad…it was a seperate one page large flyer. Bigger than a normal piece of paper. I almost threw them away

    • Amanda

How do you get a Wishbone coupon from the website? It says to sign up for the newsletter, but there is never anywhere to print a coupon. Is it something that will come “one day” in the newsletter?

      • Thehistoryofus

I think you just have to wait for the newsletter. I haven't seen anything in my inbox yet!

      • mommydub

That's how I understood it – that the coupon will be e-mailed to you in their newsletter. I even think it said in a few weeks. Not in time for this sale. :(

    • Browneyes0124

i dont see the coolwhip coupon on target site

      • Val

It's there for me. Zip 15222, grocery tab, page 5

      • Thehistoryofus

I just printed it this morning. Maybe change your zip code?

    • Mlg Cmg

New Christmas booklet w/ q's in it- Columbus GA but only at the Schomberg Rd and Macon Road Stores

    • Browneyes0124

i dont see any of the target coupons on targets site!!!!! it shows coupons but none of the ones on here

      • Browneyes0124

ok apparently if youve printed them they dont show up anymore, because i printed those last week

        • Blink_11

yes, if you print them they go away. instead of having a system like coupons.com or rp or ss where it says print limit reached, it just vanishes. sometimes it will let you print the coupon again though.

    • Pam1021

I hate it when you fill out and give them your inforamtion like the Heinz gravy offer and they tell you there are not coupons available. Waht is with this?

    • aparks

has anyone else been getting nasty customer service when you use coupons, especially printed ones? Every time I go in Publix, they make me feel bad for using coupons, last time the lady actually said they wouldn't take my printed ones. I don't really care if they are mean about it, but I was just wondering if anyone else always feels like grocers HATE coupons?

      • Jayna

I think some cashiers feel like people who use coupons are taking money out of their paychecks. Like they are making the store make less money. I'm not sure all cashiers realize that the store gets reimbursed for the price of the coupon plus an 8 cent handling fee. They actually make money off the coupons.

I had a cashier at Publix that kept making me feel this way when I used a competitor's coupon. She pointed out that the store loses money when they honor a competitor's coupon. But the fact that she honored that 50 cent coupon is why I chose to buy the $$$ worth of items I was buying at her store. Otherwise, I would have gone to Kroger.

Since then, I avoid her and use other cashiers who are friendly and ask where I get the coupons. Because of coupons, I have now spent hundreds of dollars at their store…when I would never have shopped at Publix otherwise (because otherwise, it's just too expensive).

Hang in there and figure out which cashiers work well with coupons. If you still have trouble, I would politely bring it up to store management, because that's definitely not the Publix way.

        • aparks

Thank you so much Jayna. I feel so much better. I will not get discouraged! Thank you for taking time to reply.

        • Ptogroup

Next time you get a cashier, who thinks using coupons is in some way reducing the profits Publix makes, please direct her to read the Wall Street Journal or to Google Publix profits so she or he may educate themselves on the FACT that Publix made millions, and are reporting quarterly profits for their investors and employee shareholders all the time. They would not promote sales if it were not making them MONEY!

      • guest

let a manager know! There's plenty of nice people just waiting to get jobs! I really have little tolerance for nasty people in customer service. If you can't act right, go work in a warehouse somewhere. end rant.

      • ChristyMy

I understand! I get that a lot too. Last time I had a problem, the cashier didn't want to take my coupon for the free tub of Cottonelle wipes. It was an actual coupon that they had mailed to me and it even had fancy foil stuff on it to let the cashiers know it was legitimate. She called her manager over to look at it and even after he gave her the go ahead to take it (without any hesitation on his part!) she still was grumbling about how it was going to be the manager who got in trouble when they found out it was fake. I know what I was doing was perfectly fine but her attitude made me feel dirty, like I was doing something wrong. I just have to tell myself not to let those kind of people get to me. As long as I am couponing as legally and ethically as possible, that is all that matters. As Jayna below has said, you'll learn which cashiers to use and which ones to avoid. There are lots of nice ones too! Don't give up! :)

        • Coachmark1

Man Christy I wish I would come across that cashier! I'd give her what for…believe me! The fact that she questioned your integrity on top of it….whew.
You are exactly right though…look for the friendly ones and avoid the rest.

      • Coachmark1

I am a cashier at the Food Lion in Newnan, GA and I can tell you I personally love coupons, people using coupons, etc. If you walk out $10 richer, better for both of us because you have more in your pocket and I am more familiar with the deals for that week!!! If she gives you an attitude about them ask her why? Maybe she feels like you are “stealing” by getting a product so low…then you have a door to educate her. Just my 2 cents… :)

    • Cccorethers

I'm not sure which paper it came from, but I found $1.25 coupons for the New York Style Bagel Crisps, that makes both of them only .19 cents.

      Can't beat that!

      • Mona

I have one too.. thanks for the post.. I collect coupons EVERYWHERE

      • Pdjlb5

I found it in SS 8/29.

    • Shannon

What do you do if you get to the store and there is no tear-pad? Can you ask management for one? Are you out of luck? I tried to find one for some Hershey products yesterday and didn't ever find one.

      • Jane

Not all stores get the same things. Of course you could ask and some stores do keep them behind the customer service desk, but usually if it isn't there, your store doesn't have it. Personally, I wouldn't count on a coupon that you don't already have in hand when planning a transaction.

Most of these folks collect coupons all the time when they see them and save them for the applicable sales.

      • Chiefsangeleyes

Check Kroger! Lol My Kroger stores ALWAYS have them and then I grab and head to publix to shop :)

    • Jecaswell

Nasty cashiers should learn that they represent the store and atitude makes or breaks customer relationships. Publix and others spend a great deal of money courting their customers. Customer service is part of the job and if that's a problem, perhaps they should make a career change. Smiles are contagious.

      • Connie

I spoke online to a Walgreen's Help person and told them that very thing. I told them that their own people not only have no clue about their store policy, but that they treat customers as if they are criminals and if they didn't change, they'd lose all of their customers to more friendly stores because it's not as if they have a monopoly.

    • Dar

My Publix here in Prattville Alabama is no longer accepting competitors coupons accept for Win Dixie, no longer accepting the 1 $5 off $25 from Rite Aide, no longer accepting Target web coupons etc… I know they do not get reimbursed for these but the majority of the times when I go in the policy changes from one week to the next….Bummed and probably going to end up having to go to Win Dixie now to get the better deals. Just a heads up for any of you going to that Publix.

    • Laurencuth

I'm so frustrated. I don't seem to have many of these coupons even though I have the correct flyers listed. For example, I have the SS from 11/7, but I can't find the Swanson broth coupons. Does this happen often? I'm new to couponing, so am I doing something wrong?

      • Andrea

Many times there are variations on the same coupon. For example, I live in Greenville, SC and got the $0.50 off Skippy coupon in my 11/15 Red Plum insert in the Greenville News. In the Charlotte Observer, the Skippy coupon was for $0.60. When this happens, I buy 2 copies of the Charlotte paper in addition to my weekly purchase of 4 Greenville coupons. I also go on Facebook and beg my Charlotte friends to send me their inserts. If all else fails, I buy the coupons from the Charlotte paper off of eBay.

        • Guest

I live in Greenville also and the Publix stores here sell the Charlotte paper on Sunday. Just in case you didn't know :)

      • itismedia

No, your not doing anything wrong. Coupons can vary depending on the region. Bigger papers receive more coupons and smaller papers less. Jenny list coupon variations on Wednesday so look for it to show up and if someone is doing the newpaper in your area you can look to see if it is suppose to be there or not. Last weeks is already up (11/7) Click the Sunday Ad Preview button at the top of the page and it will pop up. HTH

    • Bonni

Does anyone know what month/day there are baking muffin coupons? Thanks. Bonni

      • Sszgorlott

Martha White muffins have a tearpad coupon that I have seen at a few stores. It is for 1.00 of of 4 packages. I seen some just yesterday at WinnDixie.

    • Cinderelligirl

Just got my December issue of All You it has .55 cent coupon pg.116 on any one Dove Promises. Yummy

    • Jennifer

I guess I am missing something here .. How can you use 2 mfg. Q that are .50 off ONE box of the muffin mix? B1G1 so one box would be $1.29 minus the .50 coupon, doesn't that make it .79? Some one please explain just so I know I have not lost my mind. lol Thanks!

      • Amy

Publix will double coupons that are 50 cents and under, so a 50 cent coupon is really a $1 coupon. HTH

        • Jennifer

Thanks! Glad to know I can still do basic math. lol I didn't factor in the double coupons.

          • SSZGORLOTT

My Publix doesn't double coupons so you may want to check with your first before you figure your savings..I only get the face value off.

      • Gettobobs

I box is normally $2.59 and they are automatically on sale for half off ($1.29). When you use a .50 off coupon (which double to $1) will make it $.29. $1.29-$1= .29.

      • Sarah

Most publix stores will double coupons up to 50 cents so your .50 coupon becomes $1.00 off!

    • Pcgam

Too bad their coupons almost always seem to be on fattening stuff. We dieters need some coupons too.

      • Jane

glad you brought this up…. seems like I am buying way more processed stuff now with coupons and my waistline is showing it. Before I would pass on most of this stuff because of the cost. Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing! I'm afraid that we all are eating too much cereal, cookies, cake, muffins, pasta, etc.

Anyone else noticed weight gain or accidental over-indulgence since they started using coupons?

        • happymom

I too stocked my pantry with less than healthy items when I first started couponing. It's hard to pass up a deal even if it's all sugar! What I've found, though, is that I can keep my shelves stocked with pasta and cereal and granola bars and skip having to buy these things weekly. That frees up some cash in my grocery budget allowing me to buy tons of fresh fruit and veggies- even if they're out of season. So my pantry is stocked and thanks to this website, my fridge is full of healthy fruit and veggies!

          • Blink_11

I do the same. The deals I normally look for are pasta, cereal, granola bars, milk, cheese, produce, meat. It was hard at first to pass up deals on stuff like Hamburger Helper (it's so freakin cheap!) and for example, this week with the Betty Crocker potatoes. I've found that you can save just as much by making these types of foods from scratch, though and it's much healthier! And my fridge is always stuffed with whatever fruits are in season. Right now apples are dirt cheap, so we're all about apples for the time being!

        • JKS

Yes, most of the best deals out there are only for processed foods. I feel like it is almost too much work to be worth it sometimes, for our family. My son has a life-threatening milk and egg allergy, so about 90% of the processed stuff he can't eat and we don't buy. We buy mostly fresh fruits/veggies and meat dept. items, makes it hard to save as much at the grocery store. :(

        • AshATL

Jane, I'm a vegetarian and don't eat many processed foods. However, I've found that I can use coupons for the essentials like rice, beans, pasta, and canned tomatoes, as well as for shampoo, toilette paper, toothbrushes, etc., and use my savings to buy produce at the farmer's market. Just make it a rule you won't buy something that you wouldn't buy at full price and give the processed stuff to the food bank if you can't pass up the deal.

      • Meguardo

I began coupling about 2 months ago and I thought the same thing! However, I get what I need! Do not look at the price until you know if you need it or not!

There are a lot of sales on healthy snack options you just have to look for it!

I do 2 shopping trips one Wednesday morning for sale item and usually spend 15-20 and save 60 -70! I do this to make sure what I want is still there. Then I do a program called e-mealz and they give you 7 dinners with shopping list! They have a bunch of options like lowfat, low carb, regular and then you can choose a store. I do a Low-fat Publix menu. They use a lot of stuff on sale and I end up spending about 40 or 50 and save maybe 15-20 on my second trip Friday!

    • allen

There is also a 55 cent off orville popcorn coupon machine in most stores.

    • Holley Taylor

@ Jennifer, you are allowed to use 1 MFG coupon per item with a barcode. Because it will be doubled that will make it 1.00 making the cost of each item .29…..I hope this helps

    • Donna

Does anyone know if the All Oxi-Active laundry detergent is included in that B1G1F? The linked coupon for that sale is only this particular variety and I'm not sure if it's included in the sale or not!

I'm going to swing by Publix tonight on the way home, but if anyone knows before then, I'd be glad to hear! Thanks! :)

      • Suzanne

It always has been in the past, at my store anyway.

        • jessica

It was when I went today

      • AshATL

They didn't even sell Oxiactive at mine.

    • mom2christian

Is it just me or is this week so “Blah”? I don't really see anything worth going to Publix for this week.

Maybe next week will be better.

    • Melissa

Hello! I'm heading to FL for vacation this weekend and plan to hit the Publix stores down there for a few things. We don't have Publix where I live, so I'm just wondering… do I need a Publix card or are their sales good without one? I don't know that I want to get a card just for one shopping trip. Thanks!

      • Kriss

        Hey Melissa,

Publix doesn't have a card so that will save you some time! However, they do not double coupons in Florida. And I think it differs from store to store (in FL) on whether they accept a coupon for each item on a B1G1 sale.

        Hope this helps!

        • Rachael

And remember…in Florida, you must get two of the buy one get one, they are not half price each.

          • Kb

Im in so. alabama and the new publix is on the florida chain….you do not have to get 2 to get the sale price….

            • Brandy

I'm in North FL and you do have to buy 2 to get the sale price.

        • Melissa

Thanks Kriss! I had read that about not doubling in FL. I wonder why that is. Anyway, I'm glad to know I don't have to bother with a card! It's nice to know I can still coupon and get some good deals even when in vacation! Happy Thanksgiving!

          • Sarah

Florida is known as the dead zone of couponing. it's one of those 'it is the way it is' things. There really isn't a reason for it EXCEPT sometimes there are regulations set up that automatically disfavor us. For example, we pay higher prices for milk than many other states ($3.50 right now at cheapo Walmart) because of agreements set up with dairies here. Thank goodness for Pulix BOGO deals with coupon matchups or food would cost us a fortune!

          • guest

If I'm not mistaken, I have heard that Florida put into law something to do with the wording on advertisements and what not so that people (i.e. the elderly) were not taken advantage of. For some odd reason, this law covers coupons and that is why they don't double coupons in Florida

            • Snellmom

It all has to do with competition. Publix has a LARGE market share in Florida and has for a long time. They double the coupons in the other areas as a way to compete with other stores. I grew up about 20 minutes from Publix corporate offices. There are other grocery stores in Florida that do double coupons. They are trying to gain some of that market share that Publix has. Publix is a relatively new grocery store in most states, so it is going in to areas where people have established habits and stores. They are trying to gain some market share there. Publix has only been in Atlanta for just over 10 years, but I've been shopping at Publix since they all had to wear these horrid green uniforms and had the u-shaped belts. Yeah, that's really old school!

        • 3GAKids1521

In one of Jenny's listings, she has a UPromise coupon. I looked on their site and it is an ecoupon. Well, you have to have a card for the ecoupons to go through so I emailed UPromise and asked them about it. Sure enough, they told me that Publix does in fact have a card and all I need to do is go to customer service to get one. Before this, I was pretty certain that Publix didn't have a card. Anyone's thoughts would be nice because I am at this point uncertain what the true outcome will be.

          • Kriss

They do have a specific Upromise card but not a general savings card. Customer service can definitely help you with that!

    • Freemn4

Again, thank you Jenny. With all of the sales and coupn match ups, I stocked up on a bunch of cereal and other items this week. I spent a total of $19.92 split into 2 orders in order to use additional $5 off $20 coupns) on $105.48 worth of groceries. I bought 17 boxes of cereal, 10 boxes of pasta, 4 muffin mixes, 5 pkg of cookie dough, 3 tubs of sour cream, 2lb carrot sticks and 1 bunch of celery. I am always able to donate at least a bag of stuff each week to the food bank because you save me so much money!

      • Jane

where did you get the $5/20 q? -thx

        • Freemn4

Oops… Sorry Jane, that was a misprint, I meant $5 off $25. They were from “save a lot” store from getting friends to join.

        • Chiefsangeleyes

Great place to get this is the weekly email from CVS! :) or the Rite Aid printable

    • Hanna

Is anyone else having issues printing the Mueller's coupon from their site?

      • Mceccofiglio

yes…it did not work at all…

      • Jpdk22

        yes, can't find the $1 off , just $.55

    • guest

I had a 5/50 in my weekly ad today- yipee! did anyone else have this?

    • Coupongirl19

Does anyone know the answer to this? On a manufacturer coupon, will Publix double them even if it says “Do not double”? I haven't ever asked b/c, to be honest, I didn't want to bring it to their attention. I am sure it might vary from store to store too. I was just wondering if they had a general policy that someone might know. I apologize if this has been asked before. Thanks!!!!

      • Donna

I'm wondering about this too! The Harris Teeter's in my area are VERY careful and will not double anything with a DND, but I've never used a DND at Publix yet so I don't know what they do.

So many of the coupons for Betty Crocker and Pillsbury all say DND on them and makes for a much higher price on the items if the coupons won't double.

I'll watch & wait for a response to this too!

      • Rachel

Yes, they are supposed to. There is a “Do not double” button on their registers but they are not supposed to use them. I called corporate offices about this very question because I had a cashier pushing that button for every coupon that said do not double. I wanted to know their policy. If you start having a problem call corporate. Since I called I haven't had any problems.

        • Elizabeth

Why are they not supposed to use the DND button? The instructions on the coupon say “do not double.” The Publix policy is to follow the rules of the coupon so the cashier wasn't doing anything wrong.

          • guest

I work at Publix and I can honestly say I have never seen a DND button on our cash register….thought I would let you know…our Publix doubles coupons

            • Guest2

then go in your register (Im going to assume your store has the new touch-screen ones :p ), press 'coupons', you'll see the list of vendor, Publix or competitor. Go down to the bottom and you'll see the “Suppress” button. below all those.

              Yes, thats what that does.

          • esturm1

Publix will get reimbursed for the face value of the coupon whether or not it says “Do Not Double.” Coupon doubling is a promotion from Publix, not affiliated with the manufacturer, so that's why the cashier was wrong to suppress it. My guess is the manufacturer occasionally puts DND on the coupon to remind stores they reimburse for only the face value of the coupon. Hope that makes sense!

        • Lovemy3kiddos

I did not know this Rachel… I'll have to look into that one! I'm in Huntsville, AL and I had one a while back, for the Fiber One Yogurts I think it was… anyway, one of the stores (the one at Whitesburg & Airport) suppressed the coupon, since it said Do Not Double…but my FAVORITE store, (Bailey Cove) did not suppress the double. So, I thought that it depended on the store.

          • JaxonsMom

I am in HSV too! Glad to hear which stores you like. I am technically in Owens X Rds but go to either the Whitesburg store or the Bailey Cove store because I do not like the one by me as much. Just wanted to say thanks for making up my mind as to which one to go to tonight!

          • sars

yikes! bailey cove never suppresses… i guess i have gotten spoiled. love.love.love the bailey cove publix.

      • Freemn4

Publix in Summerville, SC does not double if “do not double” is printed on the coupon.

      • Chiefsangeleyes

Yes, our Publix's do In savannah ga, because the machine does it automatically.

      • Ect0404

When does Publix double the coupon? Is it if the coupon is under a certain amount? I've never had any of mine doubled.

        • Mamaberry

Usually they double any q $.50 and under… but not in FL :(

    • Dana

Hi, What is “College Savings” at Publix? I was looking at the Bounty paper towels and I have the .50 cents off 1 coupon but I don't have a clue what the college savings are.. Can anyone help me out with that? Thanks!

      • G's Mom

You can sign up for a Upromise account and link your Publix Upromise card to the account to save money for college. Every month Upromise offers e-coupons on select items. If you select those e-coupons and buy the product at the store, the manufacturers of the product will put the amount of the e-coupon into your upromise account. So after you signed up for the Upromise account and clicked on the 50 cents e-coupon for Bounty, go to the store and buy the product and have them scan your Publix Upromise card, Procter and Gamble will give you back 50 cents in your Upromise account. Hope this helps!

        • lindy

thank you, g's mom!!! you are the bomb!! i've never been able to figure out how the e-coupon/upromise works. that was a nice, precise tutorial :o)

    • Elizabeth

I went on my wednesday publix morning shopping trip this afternoon, yeah a little late but anyway. I got $89 worth of groceries for $37! Blessings from above :) I love it

    • Ptogroup

Had to share this with you all. Went to Publix on the 14th of this month, and used the $4.00 Wholly Guacamola coupon that I printed on Facebook and that expired on said date. The Wholly product cost was $2.99, I also purchaced two Bailey's Coffee Creamers 2 for $3.00. The Bailey's creamers had a coupon dispenser next to the product for $1.00 off one, so I used two, $1.00 coupons. When all was said and done, I took home one package of Wholly Guacamola, 2 Bailey's coffee creamers and the cashier gave me back a penny change–OOP $0.00. LOVE high value coupons!!! Happiest coupon dance ever!!

    • Julieshields

      There's a Bird's Eye coupon for $1.00 off WYB 3. It's from 11/14 (don't know if it's SS or RP).

    • Liz

Thanks for the information on Nestle La Lechera i am planning to do Flan for dessert for thanksgiving and i bought the carnation last week but i was missing the condensed milk , Thanks a lot !!!!

    • RetailWorker

Let me guess, you're one of those people with nothing better to do than report a cashier if he/she isnt smiling enough, right?

YOU stand there for hours and hours and deal with hundreds of people a day and see if YOU'RE still smiling through it all.

    • Lucy

In today's Bham News the Bruno's insert has 3 coupons at the very bottom: $5/$40, $10/$75 and $15/$100 – all exp 11/25

    • Jillian

This is completely unrelated to the Publix sale but wanted share a great deal with you guys! I've been stocking up on Seventh Generation products since I am having a baby in a few months. If you go to Target under baby you can find a $1.00 off any seventh generation product. It's a Target web coupon. If you then go to seventh generation you can register and they have two separate coupons for $1.00. I'm about to make my second trip to Target to get wipes and sprays normally $2.99 for $.99. I plan on doing this as many times as I can get the coupons to print. We will need them when our son gets here! Hope this helps someone!

    • Chiefsangeleyes

Am I doing the math wrong?? Planters Peanuts deal
      $4.29 for two
      (1) $1/2 q
      (2) 75 cents each coupons
      Total $1.79 or 89 cents each…

      What am I missing?

      • Danyeln

        4.29 – 1.00 = 3.29 – 1.50(.75×2) = 1.79 for Two containers or 89 cents each.

    • Danyeln

I just found a B1G1 Free coupon on the Ziploc Containers. It was in my SS for 11/14. The Spine says it went out to Montgomery, Opelika, Dothan, Selma, Demopolis & Greenville.

      • Connie

I got one between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa areas.

      • Cori

Bummer, the one in the Greenville paper is $1.50/2.

    • Jessie

There is a $1.25/1 coupon for the New York Bagel Style Crisps in the 8/29 SS. Makes them 9 cents!

    • Alison

I signed up for the Mueller's pasta coupons (one of the links provided next to the sale) and was able to print as many .55/1 coupons as I wanted! That makes the pasta .07/box.

      • kaseyshadow

If they have the same barcode I think the store only gets paid for one. I would love someone to answer that for sure. I'd love to print more than one to use but don't know if that's the correct use for that coupon.

        • Audra

I emailed Mueller's to ask if we could use more than one, but haven't received a response yet. I'll post if they reply.

          • kaseyshadow

Jenni responded to me in an email and said it's a pdf and can be printed as much as we want. Just be reasonable when we take them to the store and don't try to turn 20 in at one time. So glad she keeps us all straight. You hear so much stuff its hard to know.

        • Snowski824

If we cut the same coupon out of our papers they will have the same barcode. Even printable coupons have the same barcode but have a different pin. I am sure that Publix will be reimbursed if the company's website is letting you print multiple coupons from their site. However, if it was a coupon that was emailed to you as pdf and you could print multiple coupons that is probably a fraudulent coupon and they wouldn't get reimbursed.

    • Phillis

Wow! Just noticed that the Mueller's pasta coupon has changed to .55 off one. Even better deal!

    • Hjapril1999

Does anyone know if Northeast Florida is doing the unadvertised sales?

      • renee

        yes normally they do…..

    • valentine

i was able to print one target coupon for .75 off 1 planters item but i cant seem to get a 2nd print of the same one… i have always been able to get 2 prints of one coupons. maybe that was the last print available… idk if that is posible or not. any advice?

      • Guest

same thing happened for me. A tad bit annoying but what can ya do.

      • Rachel

that has been happening to me for quite awhile now. They must only allow one print now.

    • Andrea

Red Plum 11/14 has a coupon for $1 off Morton Sea Salt

    • Laura

Just a fyi for people who like the “health” popcorn. It was not marked at my publix but the simply salted, and the all natural ones are also B1G1. There was a coupon there as well for 55cents off brings the big box down to $1.90!

    • I did my big pre-Thanksgiving shop today–thank goodness a lot of my needed items were on sale! I ended up spending $68 & saving $71, which isn't nearly as good as I am used to, but considering last Thanksgiving I spent over $350 shopping for the same menu, I'm still pretty happy! (Click my name for a picture & detailed shopping & coupon info)

    • Genvacc2

I just made a trip to Publix. The cashier scrutinized every coupon and then told me I could only use one coupon for the BOGO.. she said they were getting strict and started about a month ago. Well… the young man who rang me up last week took all of them. Has anybody encountered this yet

      • kaseyshadow

Always ask to speak to the manager and get clarification from them. The cashiers make up the rules as they go along sometimes.

        • Michelle

Not to mention the store is getting money back from each of the coupons if it's manuf. And I agree…I've called bluff on a couple of cashiers where the manager came over, gave them a look like they were crazy for not accepting the coupon and told them that was policy and basically to quit giving me a hard time! Another cashier said she had to manually enter a Q bc it said do not double on a $1 Q…I explained to her that her system would not double it because it was more than $0.50. See…they don't even know their own policy!!! I told her to go ahead and try it (by scanning) and she could just void it if I was wrong. I was right of course!

      • Beth

I had that kind of experience last week! I was very upset about it for a couple days. I think it's the difference in cashiers. This week I had no problems! The cashier was nice. She did check out each of my coupons but I put everything in my buggy in order of my coupons & I put them on the belt that way. I told her I had done that and she seemed to like it. This week I didn't have to show her that I'd bought things before or after they were bagged! Only once did she ask me if I'd bought an item and I offered to get it out of the bag to show her. She said that was okay! My experience at Publix this week was completely opposite of my experience last week! Plus to make it even better I spent $75 using a gift card my husband and I had been given and saved $101!!! So – actually I didn't spend any of my own money! What a difference a week makes.

Not sure where U are from but I had a problem once, I contacted the manager and let him know, he returned my call was concerned etc. I now choose my cashiers wisely,

        • Genvacc2

I'm in St. Augustine, Florida…. I usually choose my cashiers but didn't pay attention this time. The cashier was training and had another cashier supervising. But like I said I had no problems the week before. I've never had any problems before… an item is an item… and the store is getting their money back from the manufacturer anyway! I have found that the young cashiers usually take most of them. I suppose I will have to choose more carefully next time! Thanks for all the input!

          • Susangreen

I had a very difficult cashier once at the Murabella Publix in St Agustine when it first opened. I sent an email on publix.com and the store manger called me back and apologized. He said that obviously he needed to train his cashiers better because they should be taking everything, including Food Lion, Harvey’s and Target, and yes they should take 2 coupons on BIGI. The WGV Publix takes EVERYTHING- no problems ever- 210 on is very good too. Fruit Cove- some cashiers can be difficult so I avoid that store.

      • CW77

Unfortunately I;ve not found the guy who took all of them but have run into the ones who reject about half my coupons. :(

    • AshATL

Just went to my Publix in Atlanta – Spent $49 and saved $87! I bought 4 boxes of the popcorn, but none of the boxes at my store had the RedBox deal. I did find $1 off coupons on the Dr. Pepper at Rite Aid, though, so I suppose my coupon karma was evened out. Just FYI – I saw some great new fliers, one of which had a 55 cent off coupon for scrubbers that were on sale for $1.

    • patjack2007

I can't find the Swis Miss or Carmex coupons from SS 11/14 and 11/7. I'm from Birmingham and am still new to this. Do the inserts vary from areas?

      • carrie

Yes they do vary. Go to couponmom dot com and check out her coupon database for your state (you will have to register first).

    • Dizzy7

      Does Publix double competitors coupons?

      • Guest

    • Amyrdh

can you combine target or family dollar coupons and manufacturer coupons @ publix? if so, family dollar has some printables on their site you can match up to sales.

      • crystak

our publix only take grocery store coupons not dollar store or drug store coupons

    • Laura

My publix in atlanta does take target coupons that you can double with the manufacturer one! And they double manufacturer coupons under 50cents! I saved $69 on my trip yesterday! And for people having problem with cashiers. I have found that men are not as picky as women cashiers! Make friends with the cashiers and go to the same person everytime! You will be fine! Publix is very good about customer services so if you have a problem let the store know!

      • Cketz1

I suck up to the cashiers.. “Oh thats such a nice hair bow, or I really like the color of your eye shadow.. that distracts them becuase they are receiving a compliment and so they dont pay as close attention to your coupons and also are more willing to take competitors.

    • Lisa

The Food Lion I shop at in Jacksonville, FL has $1.00 off any Spice World spices on a tear pad in the baking aisle.

    • couponmom

Confused with Publix Stores coupon policy.
I understand why a couple of the stores do not take Target coupons–to far away, but there is one that is literally across the street from a Target and they told me that they do not take Target coupons at all.
I called Publix 800# and they told me that they don't take Target coupons because they are not a traditional grocery store and it is up to the manager if they will take Target coupons. I am so confused!

Should I talk with the manager or just go with what the service desk clerk told me?

      • Beth

I think the manager at each store decides which competor's coupons they'll take. Mine takes Kroger, Target, & Food Lion but there is no Super Target or Food Lion for miles. I love being able to use those coupons every once in a while. There are 2 other Publix close to me but they both take different competitor's coupons. I've seen a small sign at all of the service desks telling which stores they take coupons from.

        • couponmom

I just called the Publix that took the Target coupons and the service clerk told me that they don't because they are out of their area.

      • Careycouponer

In many cases, they only consider Target a competitor if the Target is a Super Target. That gives it a pharmacy, groceries, bakery, etc.

    • Shayelyn

Mueller's has a new coupon up on their site – I think it used to be $1 off 2 boxes which in my area when they are BOGO made it 17 cents for 2 boxes. The new coupon is 55 cents off 1 box, now making it 7 cents for 2 boxes. No print limit on the coupon!

    • Aroberts2404

soooooo iritating !!!! why oh why when I match up the date that I received the inserts doesn't match what date that you have listed for RP or SS ?? I have even gone the week before and after and can't find it. This has happened a lot. What am I doing wrong or can anybody help me how to solve this ???

      • Fairyphotographer

A lot of the coupons are regional. Smaller towns won't have all of the coupons that larger cities do. For example, my paper here in Charleston, SC has a lot fewer coupons and different value coupons than the paper in Columbia, SC (just 90 miles away) because it is a bigger city. Check the coupon insert variations post here on Southern Savers for the differences in your paper's insert. Hope that helps.

      • carrie

A fairly reliable source that I use is couponmom dot com's coupon database. You are able to tell the site what state you live in and it can tell you what coupons are out and where to find them. Like I said, this is fairly reliable but not 100% because like the commenter below, coupons vary by region but it always makes me feel better when I can't find a coupon and when I look it up on couponmom it shows that that particular coupon wasn't available for my area.

    • Rapok4

Any idea if the Keebler Club Mini's are included in the BOGO? Our store has a tearpad for $1 off any soup WYB 1 pkg of Keebler Minis…Thanks!

      • Pepsi1williams

Just got back from publix the minis are included at our store

        • Rapok4

      • Megortiz63

    • Liz

Please tell me how to get uPromise coupon at Publix when my Publix card doesn't have numbers on the back to register it…it's only got school name for booster $.

      • Snowski824

You should have a green Upromise card that you received from customer service and it has a bar code and a number on the back.

      • millie

those are two seperate things, ask at cs next time in your in the store it is very simple.

    • FreedomSpradley1

FYI: if you go to www (dot) allyou (dot) come there's a $1/1 off Hillshire Cocktail links exp 2/17/2011. It's not on sale this week but I'm sure they will hit before Christmas!

    • Ks7709

Had to brag a little. Decided this trip I would not buy anything but bogo items with coupons. I got 2 bags Lays, 2 Coffee Mate creamer, 1 Jimmy Dean sausage, 1 Land O Lakes butter, 3 Nestle cookies, 1 Sister Sshubert rolls, 1 Ziploc container, 2 Wwheat Thin Sticks, 1 Breakstone sour cream, 2 Bic lighters, 8 Muellers pastas, 8 Betty Ccrocker potatoes, 3 Betty Crocker muffin mixes, 2 Swiss Miss cocoa and 1 Mt Olive pickles. I am new at this but thought this was good. I spent 27.92 including tax. I usually pick up additonal items so I don't really get a good feel for how much I save. Thanks again for all the tips. My receipt said I saved 71.84 total.

      • Sharon

Thats fantastic. I have to brag about my trip. I got 98.18 worth of groceries for $8.81. I couldn't believe it. This was only my second trip so had my paper boy leave me his left over coupon inserts and baked him a cake for it. Was shocking. I got a lot of things to leave at the food pantry that were free or close to it. I also got 9 bags of cat food for .18 cents each and donated them to the SPCA. They really appreciated it as did the food pantry.

        Thanks Publix

    • CW77

The Publix in Prattville, Alabama does not accept the Target printable coupons anymore. When did that happen? They also don't accept Bargin Town or Lowes. Every time I go it is something else. They used to double all coupons under 50 cents but now if it says don't double they don't double it. Very discouraging.

      • Jennifer

That is sad. I was a little disappoint too when I went in and was told that. However, I have found that even though that is the rule, some cashiers will not take the time to override the automatic double. When they do double the “do not double” coupons, I just consider it a bonus. They've really cut back on coupons at OUR Publix. I did still have a great run yesterday, paid $52 and saved $100. Even without the doubles, I still save way more money than I would if I went to Wal Mart. So, I'm not going to fuss about it too much. Happy couponing!!!

    • LizA

There's a $1/2 Ore-Ida Steam and Mash in the All the Trimmings Coupon book

    • ChErYl

ziploc product coupons $1 off 2 in the publix winter savings booklet, stack with mfr + on sale this week :)

    • ChErYl

swiss miss coupon $1/2 Nov all you magazine

      • I can't find the Swiss Miss coupon in the All You mag. Just one for Nestle and marshmallows. Am I totally missing it?

    • Kwilrus10

I went to the Publix in Lexington, SC today and I was told they don't accept Target Web Coupons. I printed $0.50 off/2 for the Cool Whip and the $1.00 off two bags of Dove Chocolates. The cashier told me they accept Target coupons not Target web coupons. When did this start?

      • Kim

My publix doesn't accept Target coupons either. I think it's a store by store decision.

        • sharon

It definitely is because our store takes target. ALL of the Publix near Charleston take Target. Only one of them though takes military commissary coupons because they are close to the base. If there is another publix with a target close by you might try that store or call and ask. I JUST LOVE PUBLIX. Harris Teeter treats folks with coupons like criminals. You would think the savings is coming out of the cashier's pocket. I have been embarrassed too many times there and won't even short at Harris Teeter any more.

GO PUBLIX. I always thank them for allowing us to use coupons.

      • kaseyshadow

None of the publix in the Cola area take target Q's any more. I was told only “traditional” grocery stores although one manager did tell me he wouldn't turn away a coupon if I asked him. I just don't take them any more. Stinks the closet super target is Rock hill.

    • Tinamhorvath

Coupon for .55 cents off Dove Promises Chocolates in the December All You Magazine.

    • Lvandeusen

Help…….My computer continues to tell me that I have already printed coupons that I am requesting to print. It says “printing your coupons” and nothing shows up and then the coupon goes away? What am I doing wrong? I am so frustrated…. I have downloaded everything they have asked me to download!

      • moneysaved4disney

try using a diff browser. Only google chrome will work on my husbands laptop for coup printing.

    • Clarar60

Can anyone tell me what the coupon booklet from 11/14 is? Please

      • Jenniferlyndswanson

it would be one of the inserts in the sunday paper on 11/14. ss is smartsource, rp is red plum, and there was also a general mills booklet that day.

    • Marina115

For you Swagbucks users: They've got a new coupons page where you get 10 swagbucks for every coupon you print and redeem. That's pretty awesome considering how many coupons we constantly print!!

    • macboy

The Target coupon for Oscar Meyer Bacon expires on 12/15 and not 11/15.

    • Donna

Does anyone know where to find the green advantage flyers? I didn't see any outside my Publix (Folly Road, James Island) in the spinner thing where they normally keep ads. Looks like there are several coupons I'd love to use if I can find one! Thanks! :)

      • maconchip

Go ask at customer service, if they have any left, that's where they will be!

        • Donna

Great – will do. Thanks for the tip! :)

      • Finespec1

I find that at some of the Publix stores I have to ask at the service desk for them. The store at main Rd. is like this!

      • sharon

Always ask at the service desk. They said they aren't putting them out because folks take 10 or more at a time. They always have them on Dorchester Rd. Publix.

      • Donna

I just found the green flyer at the Folly Road Publix – they must have gotten them later and just put them out. They're on the spinner at the entrance by the carts now, along with a yellow flyer that says Happy Holidays on it and the red Winter Family Savings flyer too. WOO HOO!! :)

    • Wwggaskins

I just got back home from the Publix on Gervais Street in Columbia, SC and there were two booklets out…All the Trimmings and Family Savings. FYI

      • CouponNERD

Yay! That's my usual Publix! They rarely get the coupon books.

    • maconchip

This may have been said already in the comments, but I am not going to go read them all :)

If your store takes Harveys as a competitor coupon, Harveys has a $1 off 12 pk of Coke products in their 11/17 printable coupons. This would be great combined with the B3G1 deal. If you need the coupon, go search Harveys in the search box at the top of this website and print them from the post about 11/17 printable coupons. I printed 4 to use! Makes the 12 pks 4 for $8!!!!

    • Livserge331

Alouette Baby Bries are on sale for $3.49 (usually about 4.99.) Pairing this with those $1 off coupons from the 11/7 SS makes for decently priced brie. I like to do these stuffed for holiday parties so any chance to stock up at a good price is welcome!

Speaking of Brie, still haven't found a store that carries the President Mini ones to use the free coupon on. Anyone seen them anywhere?

      • Amy C.

I never did! I'd love to find out if ANY Publix carries them.

    • macboy

In Orlando, I just got a $5/$50 coupon (ex. 12/6) in the mail from Publix. I got one at the beginning of November too. They are pushing their Latin food products. I guess the half empty former Alberston's that is now an always crowded Sedano's is a threat to Publix after all.

      • Olisk8sis

where is the sedanos you are talking about…. The only albertsons I knew of that closed was the one on alafaya in oviedo?

    • Jenni

General question….where is the cheapest place to purchase diapers & wipes? I am currently getting them at Sam's….

      • kaseyshadow

boy are you overpaying:) I used to think spending $150 at walmart was saving money. Lately Rite aid has had the best deals. CVS does sometimes and Walgreens. Publix's will let you use a competior coupon (i can usually find $1.50 off huggies at Food Lion IP's) and a manufacture. Currently if you spend more than $35 on huggies in one order you can mail in a rebate on the back of one of the coupon booklets for a $10.00 gift card to publix.

      • Jbush27

Publix is a good place to get diapers. They have $3 off in store coupons every once in a while and then there is usually some kind of manufacturers coupon. You can often get a box of 96 for $14-$16. Wipes I buy at Target usually. I like it when they have gift cards for buying 2 boxes.

      • Gingiraffe

Drug Stores have the best deals. RiteAid & CVS usually. But you need the cards (Up Rewards & Extra Care Card) to get the best deals. This week I got two packages of Huggies for less than $2 total! I have learned not to be brand specific and you can get the best deals. I tend to buy wipes at Target though. They usually have a mailer that I get with $1.50 off huggies wipes coupons and I try to find another coupon to pair with it and wait until they go on sale for $5.99. Then I can usually get a 184 count package for $2-$3. But if there are better deals at the drug stores then I buy there. Best advice – watch this site for best diaper deals and then stock up. Jenny usually posts free diaper deals if there out there for the week. Hope this helps!

Question about the “Clairol Family” $2 off coupon….. someone posted earlier this week that they used it on hte Herbal Essence (@$2.39)– which made it cost .39— has anyone else tried this? My question is– how do the cashiers know what products are in the “clairol family” ? I want the shampoo at .39, but am afriad to try using that particular coupon…. Suggestions?

      • nicky

i used that coupon at my publix and it worked without a problem. i also used that coupon at CVS–where it is a money maker: buy herbal essence @ 2.99, use $2 coupon, pay .99 and receive $2 ECB = 1.01 money maker! good luck

    • CouponSally

Question: Can you only use one manufacture's coupon for one item? I tried to use two the other day at Publix and they said I could only use one for each item.

      • momto2boys

Correct only one MQ per item purchased.

    • Eidiamonddot2

There's a $1/4 Rotel in the November ALL YOU(In the Con Agra section that we've seen in the past)

    • macboy

There is a $5/$50 Winn-Dixie coupon in the Orlando Sentinel (Sunday). I believe it is in the A section.

      • Sdvelie

Wow, thanks for letting us know! I don't always look through the paper.

    • Finespec1

I live in Charleston, SC. Yesterday while ringing up at Publix I was told by the cashier that after Thanksgiving they will no longer except any web printed coupons! Soooo.. disapointed. No more $5 off $25 from Rite Aid. Does anyone else have this at their stores??

      • tina

oh i hope that is not true, half of my coupons are printables. my store no longer accepts TARGET web printables but i have not had anything said to me about regular printables. hopefully that is what she meant!

      • Deborah_bunting

what store location and did you verify with a manager? i live in chas sc as well and shop at the dorchester rd location as well as goose creek

      • Donna

ANY web printables or just competitor's printed coupons? Yikes – I really hope they don't stop taking printables too – that's half my coupons! I go to the Folly Road store and haven't heard anything from them about that yet (and I go in there with a lot of coupons & they know me).

        Waiting to hear more…

      • DonnaChas

I am going to Publix this afternoon (Dorchester Rd) and will ask about it…not a cashier but a manager. I use a lot of printables as well as coupons from the paper…this could really change my shopping.

    • Gingiraffe

My Publix had a stack of Coors and Miller Light boxes next to the frozen/organic section near the meat department. I just happened to see two tear pads there. One was for $1 off Cheez-Its & $1 off little smokies/crescent rolls and the other tear pad was for $10 rebate for any tukey purchase by 11-29. Publix turkeys are .59/lb, so even a large turkey would be free! Look for this in your stores! (I'm in Huntsville/Madison and this was the Publix on Hwy 72 in Madison.)

    • tina

this is in reply to the comment about the PRATTVILLE, ALABAMA publix and their coupon policy, ( i coul not find the comment and i did not want my reply to get lost in case this information would be useful to someone). they no longer take target web printables BUT they will take target coupons from the sunday inserts and any target coupon that comes in a target booklet. they will take winn-dixie coupons if they are not tied to your reward card or if your card is needed to redeem them, the current winn dixie booklet out there now are coupons they will take, i did it yesterday. i have had no problem with my coupons doubling, i have been twice this week and all of my 50 cent or less coupons doubled so i can only suggest that you take your receipt to cs and ask them to fix or why those coupons did not double for you. hope this helps, good luck!

      • Jennifer

One of the managers at the Prattville store told me that if the coupon says “Do Not Double or Triple”, they are NOT supposed to double or triple. However, I have found that it depends on the cashier. The registers are automatically set up to double and the cashier will have to override the double. Most cashiers don't want to take the time to do the override.

    • Dtgriffin

How do you get the coupon from facebook for the Idahoan Potatoes?

      • Jody

I think they are all gone:-(

    • Guest

You can print a $5 off $50 coupon from the Publix website, good through 11/24. Use zip code 33321 (Sunrise and Tamarac, FL) and then print the coupon from the weekly add for that city.

      • Cinderelligirl

        Thanks so much!!!

      • WynetteC

Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Cake Mix, 18.25 oz., $1.57ea at my Publix B1G1

      I bought 2… here's how I did:
      * use (2) -$0.55 mfr found in the “All the Trimmings – Holiday 2010 Free Booklet” at store entrance

      $1.57 -1.10 =0.47
Paid only 47¢ for two boxes! =D

    • SavSmiles

Just got back from Publix, on the bag of Idaho potatoes is a $1 off coupon for the potatoes when you buy Breakstone sour cream. It's BOGO this week. Use the $0.55 coupon for Breakstone and you get 5 lb potatoes plus a sour cream for under $2.00!

    • dballhome

      getting that null message.

      • CJE

me too – do we have to start all over??

      • Mommerny

me too. Anyone have a solution?

    • Angela

Any news on the “null” message?

      • Bratmob

I just checked the “select all items” box and deleted the items I didn't want.

        • Bratmob

          Nevermind… that didn't work either!

      • Francomom00

*sigh* still getting the nulls too.

    • Leah Stirna

Somebody might have already said this, but the Breyers SS 6/27 Q expired in July.

    • I found a great deal in Publix today. The Coke 12pks were B3G1, as stated here. There was a tearpad for $2 off a 12pk and a pack of Nabisco Crackers. Paired great with Ritz BOGO. 4 12pks & 4 boxes of Ritz for 11.42. I was planning to buy the drinks and 2 Ritz using $1 coupons on Ritz. That would have been 13.71, so I got 2 more boxes of Ritz and spent 2.29 less.

    • Crazy for Coupons

Tried to print my list and most of the items and coupons came up as “null” Anyone had this issue before? I had to go and cut and paste each item into Word – which was painful!

      • Rajuncajungirl

I am having the same problem…very frustrating.

        • Michelle

          Ugh…me too!

    • dally8

      cant print my shopping list

    • Yanteks

So, choose select all – some will still say null but then you can delete the ones you don't want. Then, minimize the print screen and cross reference your list so you can add the ones – include coupon dates – and add as needed. Still some work but a lot better than cutting and pasting or handwriting! These things happen but it's sooooo worth it to save hundreds a month! Thanks Jenny!

    • Sorry guys! I added a coupon yesterday and didn't come back to make sure the code for the list was working :( It's all good now.

      • Francomom00

        Thank you!

      • KDS

        Thanks, Jenny!!

      • HG

No need to apologize, Jenny — we ALL appreciate what you do. (Regardless of those who are so “frustrated” below.)

Thanks Jenny for everything you have done for us have a happy and blessing Thanksgiving

    • Regi423

Does anyone remember seeing a coupon if you bought three participating items (crisco, cake mix or jello) you could get $2.50 off your purchase. I thought I had seen this coupon but can't find it anywhere??

      • Megortiz63

The Mueller's link is printing .55 cents off any ONE product! Woohoo! That will make each box of pasta only 7 cents!! It is also letting you print as many times as you like.

In the yellow Happy Thanksgiving flyer 16oz Coffeemate liquid creamers are 4/$5. If you have any of the $1.50 coupons left (mine expire 12/10) you will actually net $0.25 each.

Does this ad end today (Tuesday) or tomorrow? I think I have myself confused after talking with someone about this. Thanks

      • KBB

        Weds. the 24th.

It ends today if you are in Summerville,SC. The ad here runs Wed through Tues each week.

        • Freemn4

As I was checking for the new ad, I realized there may be a different end date this week (which would be wed) since Publix is closed on Thanksgiving Day the 25th. I think the new ad starts on the 26th. Happy Thanksgiving all!

I can't believe after spending hours making my first shopping list and getting all signed up with the websites for coupons, that the list WILL NOT print but three of the checked items. I want to pull my hair out!!!

I was having trouble printing it yesterday…it kept saying “null” for everything I had checked. Not sure what's going on with it.

You can always go “old school” and write it down, though :) That's what I had to do….
