If you are a Rice Krispie lover check your stash of IPs. I found IPs that I had printed around Christmas that are $0.70/1 and $2/2. Mine expire 1/22 and look like they came from Coupons.com.

    • teda

      yippe publix love it

      • Carol

i went 2 times before finding several of the things. the band aids and afrin were with the travel stuff. the dandrum shampoo i got selsun blue naturals shampoo that was on clearance right besides the blue bottles i had looked at several times and not noticed these for a better price. they were $2 something and with $1 coupon that is not bad at all for dandruff shampoo.
ALSO really cool coupons my son just brought me from the bottom of the goldfish bag. he came in like he had really found something great and i was super excited he found them! (i have trained him well!)
anyways there is 35 cents off goldfish, 55 cents off p.farm distinctive crackers or baked natural snacks, 55 cents off cookies, 55 cents off p. farm bakery product-(bread) and 55 cents off p. farm frozen product! didn’t see the new coupon flyer at the publix on bethelview in cumming

third?? :) Progresso Broth says I already printed. Anyone else? Unless I did a REALLY long time ago and it hasn't reset…. poo. I could use some cheap broth.

** anyone not going to use and want to print and mail to me? I will exchange for a print I won't use?? Just offering/asking… **

      • chris

        Progresson Broth didn't work for me…neither did Hellman's mayo…bummer.

      • Oceanfan2001

i had the same problem and I know I've never printed it.

      • Goodbadbogo

Total limit reached not individual limit. Say each company says you can print a coupon 500 times, even if you didn't print it, someone printed thatt last one and its not available anymore.

        • Mamaberry

yeah, guess I was hoping it was reset and new… oh well.

    • LTodd

has anyone been able to find any of the travel or clearance deals…like the nyquil?
If so, where are they located in your store? Thanks! :)

      • in my store they are on an end cap near the pharmacy

        • LTodd

Thanks! I will head to a Publix with a pharmacy tomorrow! That's a big help!

      • one store they are on an end cap in a small section at the front far right of the store by the pharmacy. Another they have a travel section at the end of the last aisle close to the dairy…

      • gardengirl

In my store, the travel is on the same isle as the toothbrushes.

      • carrie

That's what I'm looking for. Great price for either keeping for Operation Christmas Child boxes or for my 3 year old who likes to use them as stickers.

      • Carol

there was a $2 off 2 products in one of the publix flyers you get at the front of the store.

    • Weharrington08

where do you get the green and yellow flyer

      • Alyson

Usually in the front of the store with the weekly flyer. Otherwise you can ask customer service; sometimes they keep them with them behind the desk.

      • gardengirl

at the front door, they are in the same twirly bin that the weekly ads are in.

      • mylove

They're normally in the front of the store where they have copies of their ad and such. If your location doesn't pt them out, you can ask for them:)

      • Tara C

usually at the front of the store or sometimes it comes in your paper

      • Patty

Check with Customer Service if they do not have any in the rounder at the front door of the store.

    • tlegak

Sometimes I will try to print coupon and it will say i have printed my limit when i havent printed any this just happened with hellamanns mayo.can i do somthing about this?

      • SydneyC

Same here. I don't get it.

      • Goodbadbogo

its not you it just means out of the XX number of coupons they have available they have run out. The total limit has run out not the individual limit. I'm pretty sure that probably happened last night when Iheartpublix posted the add. seems to go fast.

      • Sue

The printing service uses the same message, namely that “YOU have reached your limit” regardless of whether you actually have printed the 2 allowed or they have reached their limit of total allowable prints. It confuses folks time and time again. If YOU have not printed your limit (usually 2) then it just means that the total number of allowable prints has been reached overall.

    • couponscavenger

how does Jenny get Publix's ad so early?

      • Couponpatsy

You can get it on Monday's @ iheartpublix dot com

        • Kristy

I got this ad Sunday in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

      • I just have to go to the store and ask. Some stores give it, some don’t!

    • Couponpatsy

Same o same o, week after week!

      • Mamaberry

actually, about every 6 weeks :) sorry, had to say it!

    • HELP!!! I have a Mac and use Firefox. Lately it hasn't wanted to print redplum, then it began having issues with smartsource and now this week it won't print coupons.com!!! What in the world is going on? It says I don;t have the coupon printer loaded, but I do! I have printed coupons for well over a year!!!!

      • LTodd

Try to use Safari as your browser. That fixed my problem a while back…

      • gardengirl

On Southern Savers community page, topic trouble w/ coupons dot com no longer printing….in the messages at the bottom, Barbara has cut and pasted an email from coupons dot com on steps you can take to fix this problem. I hope it helps.

      • Goodbadbogo

I've been having the same issue I thought it was a windows 7 issue till you said you use a Mac. I've tried using Explorer also but it didn't work either. I just wait till the next day and it seems to work fine. Of course that doesn't mean I didn't lose prints.:( I'm beginning to think it might me an issue with the couponing websites and their updates causing random issues with a few people.

      • kjmiller

Hi DeeDee. I feel your pain as I've experienced the same thing! Here's something that has worked for me on my Macs. Double-click on your hard drive icon. On the left, under “places”, select your user name (has a “house” icon next to it). Open up the “Library” folder and find this file: org.mozilla.firefox.plist. Drag it to the desktop and restart Firefox. Try to print. If successful, trash the plist file (it is a type of preferences file that Firefox and other browsers will recreate on relaunch). I've also used this procedure to fix coupon printing problems in Safari. In that case, do the same with the file “com.apple.safari.plist” (in same folder as other plist file). Hope that helps – Katherine

        • kjmiller

Forgot to say that the plist file is in the “Preferences” subfolder (after you open the library).

        • trying now. Hope it works!! Not printing Q’s is killing me!

      • MT SC

Had the same problem here, right when I first started couponing. Firefox and Internet Explorer are very unfaithful and tend to count coupons as printed even though the print didn’t work.
Google’s new browser Google Chrome (on my Vista PC) as well as Safari (on my Mac) have been very loyal.

    • Allison

Do any of our Publix in Columbia, SC accept Target coupons?

      • Niddi

        none that I've heard of

      • Wwilliams1571

None that I know of either. They all told me they only accept “large” grocery store chain coupons such as Food Lion, Bi-Lo, etc. Target is not considered to be a one of those. :(

    • moneysaved4disney

When did the baby club goldfish coupon come out? I don't have it…

      • SydneyC

Me either. I was wonderting the same thing.

      • Kmanganaro

I was about 2 or 3 baby clubs ago.

        • moneysaved4disney

Thx, I must have used it already then.

      • Anonymous

I think it depends on the age of your baby as to what coupons they give you.

    • Sara

I have 2 Publix Baby Club q for $2 off Stayfree which makes it a MONEY MAKER!!

    • Tara C

Thanks for posting the alternate prices for Florida where we do not have double coupons!

do you realize how many of us are on here this late at night? Are we… oh forget it, I'll just start:

Hi, my name is ____, and I am addicted to SS :)

      • Ajladd

I have said that to my friends and family many times. I am always shocked at how many people don't know about this site and I have trouble explaining the whole scope of this AWESOME site!

      • Freemn4

Thanks for the laugh! It is now 1:22am….

      • Kcedeno

        … It's 5:05 am.
        good night@

    • Stephanie

Does every Smart Source have the Maalox coupon? I don't see it in mine. :(

      • flower_mom

There are different variations for different papers/regions. Jenny has the different variations posted usually the wed. after the inserts came out.

    • Laray

Does anyone know where the .95 Johnsons Baby lotion is? I couldn't find it last week. Where are the clearance items usually?

      • Mamaberry

Earlier comments say most are finding it on an endcap near the pharmacy. another found in 'travel section' hth!!

      • I saw a tag for it with the regular baby lotion in my store, but it was all gone.

      • moneysaved4disney

was over by the regular baby stuff in my store

      • Bryarsmom

Long gone at my stores-this deal has been on a while.

      • Francomom00

Ours was on the shelf with the other baby lostion. It was only one type and it had a white and tan clearance sticker under it.

    • Michelle

Have any of you guys talked to managers at your Publix stores to see if they are going to be willing to honor the current sale prices for those of us who are unable to shop because of the snow/ice? Our sale goes through tomorrow night, so I'm really hoping to be able to get out tomorrow, but I don't know if things will thaw enough by then.

      • Lanavdixon

I don't think they could since it is all programmed into the computer in Lakeland, FL where they have no idea about the weather we have had further north.

      • Anonymous

Ours changed over at the normal time. I was able to brave the weather on Tuesday afternoon and got there 30 minutes before the store closed early!

    • savin4morefamily

The deal for the free Johnson & Johnson collectible book says the items had to be purchased by 12/31/10. The request just has until 1/15/11 to be postmarked. Rats…I am needing more Neosporin and BandAids, too.

    • ym

is the “stay prepared stay healthy” pharmancy booklet a Publix item found at the pharmacy? I've asked at my local Publix pharmacy multiple times if they know about this booklet and they look at me like I've got 2 heads!

      • Cathy

No one seemed to know what I was talking about either, but I found the booklet actually in one of those clear stands on the blood pressure machine. It was very thin, more like a pamphlet, but had several coupons across the bottom. Good luck!!

    • Dani

Does anyone know the zip for the bandaid $1.5/2 Q?

      • Ashley

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I need Band Aids!!

    • Sassysouth22

Why are all the coupons already out?

    • Frugal_mommyof1

How does Publix handle it if an item is BOGO and you have a coupon BOGO? Do you buy one and get two free in that case?

      • sealey5

If there's a B1G1 deal going on and you have a B1G1 q then you get 2 items free. I do this all the time! Hope that helps you out! :)

      • Kcedeno

It really depends on where you are. Ie. in GA, when an item is BOGO really means 50% or half off. So, lets say there is a BOGO cereal regular price $4.00, and they have BOGO you acually pay $2.00 for one, in this case, you can use the BOGO coupon, and you will have 2 cereals for $2.00..
I am not sure how they do it in FL

        • Susanna

In Fl (at least in Orlando) the first one would ring as $4, the second one as $0. (Actually both ring at $4 and then underneath the second $4 is subtracted). (So you always have to buy two (or even numbers) or else you’ll lose out.)

      • new2Q's

I am in FL and this is how they do it here….I just did it with Special K. I had a Special K Manufact. Q (For BOGO Special K) and it was on sale at Publix for BOGO so I got 4 boxes for FREE!!!!

In FL, we have TRUE BOGO…not 50%, so it's a little different than SS posts on here, since she is in GA.

        • new2Q's

          Oops…I may have had 2 BOGO Q's from Man….

        • Ceeceehuell

here in Charleston, the cashier will take the sale price off of one of the items. For example: Publix has BOGO Special K, and I also have a coupon BOGO. The regular price without the Publix BOGO would be $4.00 a box, but because of their BOGO deal, each box rings up $2.00. I give my coupon, and the cashier then deducts (1) $2.00 charge, so in the end, I get two boxes for $2, which makes it $1 a box…I can't complain :)

    • Ashley

Can we use that many coupons for the Stayfree? I thought that the BOGO counts towards both items therefore not allowing another manu. coupon. I would love to use another coupon though if allowed!

      • savin4morefamily

Since it's not B1G1 at Publix, I don't think we can use the 2nd $1 off store Q, since the mfr's Q has already made that item free. If you gave only 1 $1 off store Q, you'd still arrive at the .42 each the way I figure it.

        • Anonymous

Technically you *can* use a store coupon on a free item, it’s just whether you feel like that’s right or not!

      • Amber

If you are buying 2 items, you can use up to 4 coupons. You can use a manufacturer and a store coupon on each item. It doesn't matter that they are not buy one get one on sale. The math still doesn't add up to me, though. I get this…buy 2, pay $5.70. Subtract $2.85 with the BOGO coupon=$2.85. Subtract $1.00 with the other manufacturer coupon=$1.85. Subtract $2 for 2 store coupons= they pay you $0.15. I could be wring though. It's kinda late. :)

      • kcedeno

Ladies this is what I did today..
I used a B1G1 Coupon, 2 $1.00 off store coupon and 1 $1.00 mfr coupons, which totals to 4 coupons and $5.85 worth of coupons.
        Total was=

        2.85*2=5.70-5.85= +0.15 profit.

Since, it is 5 females here I will def buy as many as possible!!

    • ChristyMy

The 1/09 SS has a $0.50/1 Neosporin OR Band Aid q so if your store doubles and you have 2 of them, it makes for a better deal than the $1.50/2 q that I can't seem to find. :)

      • Islandhopper

Thanks!! Yeah, I couldn't find that one either!

      • Kaninekeeper

Thank you! Does anyone have a zip code working for the Neosporin Or Band Aid q?

    • Jenniferharding65

Why does the Hellman's say I've already printed the coupon?

      • SydneyC

Someone near the bottom of the comments said that they use that message when they run out of prints sometimes.

        • Thats right! Hellman’s must be out of prints for this coupon so that is why they are posting that message for you.

      • Eks50

Mine says the same thing and I've never printed one….

    • Ecm

I have 2 black HP 45 ink cartriges that I’ll be glad to send to someone. I purchased them through work before they changed out our printers. Email me ecmoore@yahoo.com.
Sorry for posting here: can’t get Community to work well.

    • kaseyshadow

anyone having issues with the chapstick coupons? The last couple I've printed from wyrth have been expired. Suggestions

    • Katbirdfl

Does any know if the Publix in Duncan takes competitor's coupons?

      • Sally8bb

I think they accept cvs or rite aid… I know they didn't take Target…

        • Katbirdfl

          Thank you!

      • Lanavdixon

They only accept other grocery stores. It has to be a true grocery store, so Bi-Lo. Food Lion and Ingles. They may or may not take Sav A Lot, depends on who is working that day. They have not taken Target or the drugstores for maybe 2 years now.

        • Katbirdfl

          Thank you! :)

    • coka98

Hellman's says I already printed the coupon also, but I haven't.

    • Cpack

I did not see produce or meat on sale items. Am I just missing them or is no meat or produce on sale this week. Thanks

      • kjmiller

        Just noticed that too.

      • Jen

She didn't get the complete list up. She said she would try to post more later.

    • Couponingchick

Who knows what the deal is with the Hellman's coupon? Is it an old overprinted link?

    • Lori B.

Quick question. I still have my $2/1 Swiss Miss cocoa coupons that expire today. Will Publix allow overage. Like can I get 4 boxes & use 2 of those coupons to make all 4 free or do I just get 2 boxes, use the 2 coupons & they adjust the coupons down?

      • moneysaved4disney

You can just get the two…they allow overage

        • Actually it varies by store.

          • LoosyGoosy

Exactly. Mty store doesnt allow overage at.all. If the cashier sees that the coupon is for more than the price of the item, the coupon is adjusted to make it free, but no overage.

      • Shamrock

the one I go to allows overage as long as you are buying other things and they don't have to give you money back.

    • ireneY

Printed some $1/1 Smuckers from coupons (dot) com a few days ago. Plus, I still have a $1.50/1 IP from months ago. Look in your files for a great matchup! Don't think either are available anymore.

      • Anonymous

Yep I have some $1 off low sugar/sugar free varieties. Hopefully they are included!

    • Amyreese2010

My Publix told me this morning that they are changing their policy Feb 1. No more Target coupons or Walgreens. Then they are also limiting to 2 deals per day. I hate that, They said people come in and wipe them out. I never do that. I am always very nice and only get a few deals per day anyway,

      • brooke0605

my publix told me the same thing. i looked on the publlix website and it said individual stores are allowed to decide which competitor coupons they accept. i told the guy they were going to have some mad customers on Feb. 1 who went to check out and didn't know. do you live in valdosta?

        • Amyreese2010

          yes valdosta

          • Beth

I didn't know that the Valdosta store allowed competitor coupons – does it? At least, until Feb. 1st? I don't live there, but have a ton of family and friends who do (I grew up there) and was told by one of them that they don't even allow competitor coupons. Is this wrong?

            • Birdy

I do not live near a publix so I usually go to one of three that are about 30 mins away and one of them a couple of months ago had said they were going to stop taking Target coupons… Well, I guess they had a ton of complaints because they only had the posters up for a couple of weeks and they started taking them again LoL :o)

            • I didn't think that the Valdosta store would except competitor's coupons to begin with. Awhile back, a cashier gave me a hassle about an Internet coupon. I hope the Target/Walgreens policy is only for valdosta and not north florida!

            • Susanizanurse

My mom lives in Valdosta & I go to this Publix when I’m there for the deals that I don’t need to double coupons for & they’ve always accepted Target coupons. I hope this isn’t changing on Feb 1 but I’ll for sure ask before I go in the next time. I don’t go often since the Publix I prefer (in Perry) accepts Target and doubles.

            • Tstone7

The Valdosta store accepts Target, Winndixie and Harveys. Called last week and that is what they told me.

      • momma of 2

        Wheredo you live?

      • Guest

Consider yourselves blesssed. Greenville, SC area stores stopped well over a year ago. They only take “true grocery stores” within a 5 miole radius

      • Amyreese2010

it all depends on the cashier and manager working when you go in at our Publix. It gets frustrating and now with them cutting out Target coupons…there goes a lot of my great deals.

    • Pmccorm1

Hey.. has anyone else having trouble getting bricks coupon to print ? I am getting a message that I have printed the coupon the number of time allowed. I seem to be getting this on everything regardless if I have printed before or not. For the ones that I have printed in the past (ie: Hellman's) does it ever reset and allow you to print again ?

      • Snowski824

I had them send to my printer and were in the print que but wouldn't print. I had to uninstall the coupon printer and reinstall it before I could get it to print.

      • Wwilliams1571

It usually means that the limit has been reached. The product maker only has so many coupons so once they are all printed you may get that message. It will show up whether you printed them or not.

      • Dwinger62

I am having the same problem recently. Very frustrating.

      • Tstone7

If it tells you that you have printed the number allowed and y ou know you havent, then google the coupon and see if there is another site that offers the coupon. if it says the program is no longer being offered, you cant get it.

      • lovedbyGod2

        same here!

    • Mmmc86

      in ad coupons??

      • gardengirl

coupons in the weekly ad. if you didn't get the ad, check at the front door of your store for a copy.

        • Mmmc86

no i mean what are the coupons in this weeks ad, anyone know? or am i missing them

    • ddt

I have noticed at our Publix here in Murfreesboro, TN that they have the Green and Yellow Advantage flyers readily available at the front door, but I never see any of the other great coupon booklets that Jenny talks about. Is there a special place that they keep them, or are they just all grabbed up by the time I get there?

      • Nicolecaroline1023

At my publix they sometimes have a stack of special ones by the customer service counter or in other displays usually in the same vicinity as customer service. I would just ask.

      • DWinger62

At my Publix you have to ask at customer service.

      • SakuyaLuigi

        Check the customer service.
At my store, they have to do that since loads of people grab more than just one.
Also they can only hand out one per person.

      • Sslovesagoodbook

At the murfreesboro publix on Memorial Dr. They keep the booklets at the counter. They don't always have every booklet Jenny mentions, but I just go to the counter and ask them to give me whatever they have. They will gladly give you one of each when you ask

        • ddt

Thank you! I will try that next time I go!

      • Crystal

I live in Nashville and when I asked the manager why they don't always have all the booklets, I was told that they are such a new store that they don't always get everything. But that in time they will. I know the stores in Mboro are fairly new too, so maybe that's why?

    • Danithorne

My Publix has quit letting me stack blinkies with newspaper/printables. Very frustrating.

      • You we're lucky then. That's not supposed to be allowed period. It's stacking to manufacturer's coupons.

      • Lanavdixon

They are right since they are both manfacturers coupons.

      • SakuyaLuigi

Not frustrating. Those are mfr coupons.
        You can't mfr coupons.
You can stack mfr, store and competitor coupons at my store.
        But that's it.
No more than three to a stack.

        • Sakuyaluigi

          Cannot stack.
          Argh, typo.

        • Ashley

My store also allows 3 coupons per item. I thought I was the only one!

        • Roehrigk

you can stack as many as you want to at my Publix…Blinkies included! Depends on the store you go to.

    • Zjqtcj

Anybody had problem printing Sundown $3/2 coupon? The screen showed “Printed” but the printer did not print out anything. I tried at home, at work, and at library with no luck!

      • Randi

after clicking the ss link a few times, I finally got the bricks page to show up. printed 2…

      • Steve

I got it to print once a month or so ago, but can't get it to print again. Tried multiple computers, and browsers with no luck

      • Save1moredollar

I printed it okay this morning…

    • Ceeceehuell

At my Publix here in Charleston, they had Millford Valley Farms breaded chicken for B1G1. They also still had Chef Boyardi (sp?) for .89 a can. I compared this to my wal-mart add which is advertising the cans on sale for .98 a can. I have a 2 year old…this is a good deal for us :)

    • sco

I am new to this so I don't know when to use two coupons for the BOGO items. For instance with the Coffee Mate? It is BOGO for 1.14, I printed a 1.00 off coupon (on one). Should I use two coupons?

      • allison

Yes. You can use 2 coupons – one on each item. Sometimes the products are so cheap on BOGO that the store actually pays you for the item :) Good luck!

      • Depends on where you live – most stores allow you to only buy one item to get the BOGO price. Call your store and confirm if you have to buy two to get the offer – if not, then its not necessary to have more than one coupon unless you want more than one item!

      • J Rawls

Yes use two. It makes it 1.14 each because it takes the regular price and divides it by 2 giving you 1.14 if you have 2 coupons it makes it .14 each.

        • amywebb

Do the Coffee Mates freeze ok?

    • Danielsmom111407

Does anyone know the zip for the waffle coupon I do not see it when I click the link to print

      • GBFL

        32212 worked for me.

      • Melissa M.

90210- The picture is of the AJ pancakes but it's for pancakes waffles and french toast.

    • Emabee63

This is a new one on me…last night, I purchased 4 packages of Pillsbury refridgerted cookies. There were 'stickies' on each package for $1.50 off 3 packs. My cashier took the sticky coupon off the Pillsbury cookie package AND the 2 Q's I already had in the pile. I tried to correct her and she said that they take the 'stickie' and the other manufacturers when you purchase enough to cover them. I still think she's wrong…any thoughts?

      • Emabee63

The Q's I gave her were $1.25 off 2. When I told her the Stickie Q she was using wasn't a better deal for me (I even did the math for her) she told me what I stated above. I normally wouldn't question this, but this happened in one of the less Q-friendly Publix in my area.

        • MissyL

I had a cashier do that the other day. She took my mfq and the sticky and told me that they use both. I got a great deal on canned biscuits- since the sticky doubled I got an overage of .10 on each can. :)

        • CouponBubba

I have experienced this a couple of times at the Publix in Alabaster, Alabama.

      • Danyeln

I had the same thing happen several weeks ago on storage bags. I had man Qs for all 4 boxes but each box had a cents off peelie and she took all my Qs plus all 4 peelies. Plus the peelies were less than 50 cents so they doubled too. My cashier told me that is procedure at that store so I'm not going to argue if they say that is what they do.

      • moneysaved4disney

        happens at my store also

      • Roehrigk

you can ALWAYS use the sticky’s from package in addition to regular coupons. That goes without saying.

    • saver

Has anyone seen the Johnson& Johnson Head to toe baby lotion, 15 oz. for 95 cents? I printed the coupon and looked in more than 1 Publix and was unable to find it.

      • Karentracy1

        Same here. Not at mine.

      • Jenjenfrederick

        not at mine either

      • Serattcoupons

Mine was actually on sale for 0.79 but they were all gone and since it was a clearance WSL deal, no raincheck.

    • Wwoodham88

Is it me or is there not as many amazing deals as there were last week…

    • Brenda

When I remove having the coupon matchup to print my list, several items I selected are hidden, I see the top of the red x, but can not tell the item I want to purchase. This has happened several times.

    • Mom2teenagers

Can any of my fellow Midlands couponers tell me if the new Hendrix Crossing Publix in Lexington is still opening today or did the weather postpone the opening?

      • Tricia

At 730 this morning I saw a moving billboard (a truck with a sign) saying grandopening today for Publix and that was at Two Notch and Longs Pond. If I didn't have to work today I would of been there Saturday can't get here fast enough for me

      • Csmommy

Yes they are open and it's a madhouse! But it sure is great to have a Publix in that area!!!

    • Ok this is getting Crazy, I can't print Hellmann's coupon either.. Says I already did it. Uh No!! I even tried it from My daughters laptop that I never use and it said same thing… What is going on. It's been happening alot

      • This message usually means that the coupon has reached its printing limit and can no longer be printed from any computer.

      • Scrooge

There is a new hellmans Q at printablecouponsanddeals.com!!! HURRY!!

        • kellmoody

          This worked great! THANKS!

    • april

Anybody know the zip for the Jimmy Dean D-lights? Mine does not work.

      • Andrea2543

        try mine…32909. worked for me!

    • WynetteC

*Heads up* The Healthy choice printable for $1/2 fresh mixers or marie callender's fresh mixers is a bottom of the page printing coupon. Just learned this the hard way when I flipped my paper to print and it ended up going on top of one of my top-paper print coupons.

    • Jenjenfrederick

so why when I try to click on most of the clickable coupon links do they say the coupon has already printed the allowed number of times or it will say that I have already printed this coupon when i have not??? I kind of new to this and was just wondering?

      • mrsmadayar

usually that means the coupon is not available to print anymore.

    • Awsixweavers

Does anyone know if Publix takes manufacturer's coupons with the words 'military store coupon only' on them? I live in Columbus and near Fort Benning.

      • Pebbleskn

Yes they do. At least mine in Goose Creek, SC does.

      • Kb

        Mine in dothan AL do!!

    • Angie

Anyone remember that B1G1 Healthy Choice coupon from a while back (October-ish)? It was a progressive coupon that they sent out once they reached a certain number of “Like”s on facebook. I'm at work right now and I know I've got it at home. Anyone know when it expires?

      • Caitlin

        1/31/11 :-)

        • Angie

    • Couponrocks

Does anyone have the $1.25 Nestle Coffe Mate coupon? I can't get southern saver trade coupon page. I need 10 coupons. I'll trade for coupons & stamps. Thanks

    • Holiness07

I”m confused! The scenario she has will make the Stayfree products FREE Right? not .42

      • Mercedes

looks like a money maker to me.

      • It does make it free. I made a mistake earlier, but its corrected up top!

    • Barnes_kentucky

I just check with my Publix to see if they are stocked to start the new deals tomorrow because of the ice storm in our area. The store manager said no–but they were hoping trucks were able to come in this evening. CS said to call before I make a trip in the morning. Just a heads up if your in the Atlanta area.

      • Misseliza123

At my Publix in ATL, the truck made it there a few hours ago.

      • Ashley

The Dunwoody Place store must have gotten a truck because they had probably 6 employees restocking the near empty produce department. They are still out of chicken and low on ground beef. Does anyone else shop here?

    • itsmwah

fyi…the Publix stores in Tampa Bay no longer accept CVS, Target, Walgreens or Whole Foods coupons. It must be from a true grocery store competitor like Winn-Dixie for them to honor it. That is per the regional manager out here…

      • Emaushouse

Only certain stores in the Sarasota area will take drugstore coupons. I've learned to ask what they will take.

      • Alissa

I use a multitude of competitor coupons at the Publix on Fowler, near USF. Not a single problem.

      • Jessie7713

i use target all the time at my publix in pinellas county.

      • Mackay1st

I live in Tampa… I just came from Publix 30min ago and they took my Target coupons. May be just my store?? I got a ton of stuff for zero zip nada!

      • Ileana

It all depends where you got. There are 3 that I go to that take Target and 1 that takes Whole Foods in the North Tampa/Lutz area.

    • Haley554

To my fellow contact lens wearers…do ya'll think the Complete solution is a good price or should I wait for a better deal at one of the drugstores??

      • ecagle

the drugstores have this for free all the time.

      • Tasha

If you can't get THIS ONE for free, you can get something for free. I get bummed cause the cleaning solutions are always free or money-makers, but the tears usually aren't. I use daily contacts, so have no need for the cleaner, but use tears a lot… figures! LOL

    • Mollieirene

At the Publix in Athens, Alabama the Maalox DID NOT have a sale sticker on it >>>>It was not in the Publix ad this week as a sale item and neither was the Johnson and Johnson first aid to go kit. They would not give me a rain check on the Maalox since it was not in the flyer…..but it must have been ringing up on the 5.00 coupon because they were all gone.
Oh, heads up>>>>> The antastic w/ scrubbing bubbles is on sale @ $2 a piece. I think in last Sunday paper there were .75 cents off coupons which make the Fantastic only $1.25 per bottle. Not a bad deal….

      • Mollieirene

        I meant “Fantastic”

      • Amy B.

The Maalox isn't on sale (notice its under “regular price” deals). The cheapest Maalox is that price so the deal should be good until the coupon expires. HTH!

        • Mollieirene

Oh, I do see that now…..thanks for the heads up.

    • Anne

Does anyone have a zip code for the power of fruit bars? Unable to find it.

      • Libby

Try the other link. It took me right to it. :)

    • Phillis

In Middle TN the Publix in store ad has a store coupon for $3 off two Johnson & Johnson baby products 15oz. Stack that with two mfg coupons and you pay $1.38 for two products.

    • Klane08

Wouldn't the Stayfree deal make it $0.15 overage when you buy 2???

      • Brooke249

that's the math I came up with too…

      • Yes, that is right! Sorry about the mistake, and thanks for pointing it out to me so I could change it in the ad.

    • There's a new coupon book/rebate program at publix. Buy $36 in participating products get $10 publix gift card. One of the coupons in it is $2 off 2 boxes of kleenex! That makes it 50 cents for 2 boxes! Can't pass that one up!

      • Ashley

How do I find that? Is it a new booklet in stores?

        • it was on a display by the front door. It's not a whole book, but a pamphlet

      • happymom

Thanks for the heads up- I love the Publix gift card rebates! Now I just gotta find it… :)

      • Monica

        Are you in SC?

      • Monica

        Are you in SC?

    • sarahk79

Does anyone know the zip for the bandaid/neo cream coupon?

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

She fixed it. It is 1.50/2. Check your 1/09 paper first. There are some Band-Aid/Neosporin .50 off 1 in them that would suit that purchase better if your store still doubles.

    • anonymous

Can you use more than one of the publix store coupons in one purchase if it's the same coupon?

      • Ashley

I do all the time. I just try not to overdo it in one purchase just incase. I used 6 of the $1/1 stayfree which was more than usual for me. I normally don't exceed 4 at a time.

      • bj

        mccalla was chunky soup…yuck

    • Tagsmother

The penny coupon in Birmingham is applesauce again and many if not most of the specials have not arrived via truck today.

      • Adbthomas

        Hoover stores have the juice

    • Save1moredollar

On the Johnson&Johnson deal, Couldn't you stack the in-ad $3/2 Q with man. Q's on the clearance baby lotion? That would be $3 + $2 off of a $1.90 purchase, right? Or a really good money-maker?

    • Ileana

There is a .75/1 6-oz. or larger Kraft cheese Shredded/block at Target.com. Too bad it only let me print one!!

    • Ashley

I had a bad experience with a cashier that I frequent. First, I told her that she had missed a coupon and she said “Well, its only $2”. Only $2 is alot to me!! And then, when I had to get an override, shetold me that it is such a hassle to do that.

Should I call/write the store and complain or just assume she was having a bad day?

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Always feel bad doing that to Publix, because they are so good, but to stay good they do need to know. If she fixed everything then it is up to you. If she didn't then a call is for sure needed.

        • Tracy

I would also send an email complaint. However I also send a good compliment when i find i get a very good cashier! i don't want to only point out the negative. i'd hate to think that the cashier would be thinking to theirselves “oh great here comes that couponer that complains.”haha My publix has to double check everything so i put the coupons on the items as i put them on the counter so it makes it a little easier…i like to make it easier for them so they don't mind a bunch of coupons

      • Roehrigk

Of course you should complain! They should never tell you that it is only $2.00. Who would say that?? Go tell management!

      • Jazzaswas@yahoo.com

I think she was having a bad day. It's not worth a call.

      • Christycda96

I sooo hate it when a cashier tells me “it's only”!!!!!!! Well, it's only our money and not theirs! WHATEVER, just fix it cashier person!

      • Ashley

I finally decided to send a complaint via email. I did not give the name of the cashier. If they find this problem big enough then they can ask and I will provide it. At least they can remind their employees to watch their toungs :)

        • Mrross88

I sent a complaint via email once when I encounter a bad situation at Publix. I had been shopping at another store for months, and decided to go to the one closer to my home. I had a call from and visit from the store manager within a couple days. Publix is very concern about customer service. Don't be surprised if you are contacted as well.

      • I hate peas

You can always tell the cashier “since its only $2 then I am sure you wont mind paying it” with a big smile on your face. :)

    • Xxplumcrazeexx

Where can we get a Kroger home mailer from?
Alot of the coupons I am clicking on are telling me there is none for this campaign.

      • Michelle

Yes someone please answer this question. Do you sign up at the Kroger site?

      • To get a Kroger home mailer, you have to register your card and spend money on it. Then you are basically chosen at random to get a mailer.

        • Sue

What do you mean by “spend money on it”?

I am at my wit's end about how to get the mailers. I have had a Kroger card for years that I use all the time. I made sure it was registered months ago, after reading on here that that was key, and I still never get the home mailers. I have asked at customer service and they had no idea. I called corporate abt 6 mos ago – but still no mailers. Then to add to my frustration, I saw a lady with a mailer in the store and asked her where she got it and she said that she just gets them frequently in the mail, but had no idea why.

If I hadn't actually seen one, I wouldn't believe that they exist. :)

    • Knelson2500

I nearly *well, you know* myself when I saw Crunchy Nut on this list. I wrote them four months ago asking if they would sell it in the US. And now they do! And it's on sale! But I live in Florida and it's not on sale until tomorrow (*boo*). But, yay! It'shereit'shereit'shere, yayayayayayay!

    • God Has A Plan

as the newspaper guy didn't deliver my paper today, I didn't have a hard copy of the ad and only used this list to send my daughter to the store and I was expecting to spend about $40-$50, but the total was $75. to my surprise the FLAVORED coffemate creamer is not included in this sale, so a waste of my coupons and I now have to go to the store anyway to return it all. :( Thanks anyway, I know you work hard to provide this service.

      • just saying

just curious, but i hope they damage out those goods you are returning and not put them back out for sale b/c i don't like the thought of buying perishables that have been brought back to the store, no offense to you

        • Ashley

They should damage it out. I know my store does because I asked when I wasn't sure about an item I was buying.

      • Marina115

I've never seen the flavored coffee mate go BOGO. It's always the original kind. Next time, tell your daughter to double check the sales tag with your list. :)

      • If I don't have an ad handy, I will check it out online if I have doubts. This way, there are no surprises.

    • BrandName

New to this…. but where can I find the green and yellow advantage flyers @ the Hardscrabble location?

      • The flyers are usually right when you walk into Publix stores. They spin around and hold the weekly ad plus the green & yellow advantage flyers. You can also always ask cust. svc. They are so helpful at Publix stores!

    • MT SC

has anybody had success getting a facebook coupon for Welch's Fruit Snacks? Are they already out?

      • Hesperides

I emailed them and they are sending me a Q and a sample :)

      • kp

Facebook said they were out on 1/5/11

    • Jenn

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned but there is a $1 off Listerine store coupon in the Green Advantage flyer. That can make Listerine $1.99 with the sale and $2/off Q.

      • Nikkibishopmy31

Wow! Thanks! Thats a good point!

    • SB08

I have a question…If you are getting a B1G1 item, lets say the Red Barron Pizza…can you use 2 dollar of coupons, since you will be getting 2 items? Or will they only let you use one?

      • Heather

Yes, you can use a coupon for each item, even if they are bogo, according to Publix's coupon policy.

      • cog94

Yes, you can use 1 MQ for each item. Some stores will also allow you to stack the MQ with a Publix Q as well.

    • Nikkibishopmy31

Will someone explain the Stayfree to me? I went to purchase today and they would not let me use the B1g1 and the Manufacter bc she said they were BOTH manufacterer coupons??? and In the scenerio above we purchse 2 of them…? Can someone just break it down for me? (im sorry Im new to couponing..and I get most things but this has be puzzled!)

      • Jenn

You should be able to use the B1G1 and use the $1 off of the one you are actually buying and then stack the two store coupons. You have two products and so are allowed to use to MQ's and two store q's I think your cashier just didn't understand.

        • Gswe1127

They have don that to me too.

      • Jackie

I had the same problem today. I usually never have this problem, but when you get a cashier that likes to make you pull everything out of your bags and double check that you bought the item on the coupon for 20 coupons, you can count on it. Some just don't like to see you get the deal. Next time, avoid that cashier, and find and stick w/ a cashier that knows the coupon policy.

        • G-Runner

I would just make a mental note to avoid her lane from now on. I will stand in a longer line to get a cashier that I'm used to, but in a pinch I try to stick to the High scool kids. They are least likely to stop the line to “save the store” $.55.

    • Em_7984

Hey there! I found a pretty exciting deal on Johnson's Buddies Sudzing Bar. I originally went with four ~$1 off any Johnson's baby product~ Q's to try to use on the clearance baby lotion that was only listed on here for .95…WELL…They didn't have any clearance baby lotion, so I saw the Johnsons Buddies Bars for $1.09..I figured .09 for a bar of kids soap was decent..I grabbed the last four…They rang up for .55 cents a piece!!! WHOA! .45 cents overage on each! I love getting surprised with great deals! Just thought I'd share!! :)

      • Em_7984

That is, ON TOP of the 2 $3/2 in ad Q ;)

    • baseballmom

new to couponing.. So, I wanted to double check on the Tyson deal. It is BOGO and it says you can use the 1$ off coupon for the Tyson breast fillets but, it doesn't look like they are included in the sale. Help, am I missing something?

      • baseballmom

Sorry I should have said it is for the Publix shopping list.

      • Yes, you can because they're both frozen Tyson chicken.

      • Brandyandtravis

I found $1/1 on the package and they took both!

    • Lolly

Baseballmom… welcome to couponing… you will be hooked soon. Its amazing. I am not sure about the tyson coupon it looks like they might Not be included but its best to check at the store. Good luck…

    • Aimee

Has anyone been able to print the $1 Lance Q? I get directed to other toolbars to download. Very frustrating!

      • Michelle

        I agree, I couldn't find it either.

    • what zip can you get the band-aid q?

      • Tigress1321

there was a .50/1 band aid in the AJC last weekend

    • Mackay1st

The Uncle Bens Rice coupan is 1.00/2 not 1.00/1 !, So not Free!!! Learned this the hard way after cutting all my Uncle Bens coups and printing my list………… My sister called me at 6am this morning and yelling at me because I gave her wrong info!

      • G-Runner

Your Sister sounds like a butt.

      • Mp

In my paper it was $1.00/1; so it just depends on what paper you received.

      • Randi

        mine was $1/2 too

      • L. Whitt

Mine was $.75/1. There are variations. It's up to us to verify, then decide if it's a deal for us or not. Just breathe! :)

      • Jenn

And mine is for 1.00/2- Jenny suggests that you print out the coupon variation list and keep it with your coupons for easy referencing when determing which coupons you have, which you don't, and which may be different than what she has listed.

    • CTaylor

Just FYI – Publix in Lawrenceville, GA has Publix Coffee as the penny item today. Also, they will not accept Food Lion coupons.
Got great deals today anyway – $4.45 for $55.00 worth of groceries. =)

      • Frugalgals

The Publix in Sugar hill will take FL coups

    • Angie

Anybody have any luck with Futura products? The cheapest I could find was $6.99.

      • Mackay1st

Me Too! Was disappointed because my wrist has been killing me. They were all very high priced!

      • hc

I just got back and couldn't find it either! And the sale for pads is the Carefree not the Stayfree…or at least here in Lakeland FL

        • Subohfam

The stayfree pads were not on sale but they have the small packs 14 ct for $3.41. I found them @ the 1 on bartow rd.

        • Qtwithlocs

They do have the stayfree on sale in Lakeland..there is a save $1 coupong in their in store “make a healthy start in 2011” flyer. However, walgreens has a better deal for the stayfree this week.. they have $3 off in store flyer :)

    • Phyllis

Can any one tell me how to get the q for the jimmy dean $2.50? i have tried it over and over and i can not share it with no one! Any one else having problems?

      • you have to click on link above then click on JD “share” put ur Name and Email, Then it will prompt u to share it on Facebook, do it, then go look in ur email, it will be there….

        • Phyllis

Thanks but i have tried that! It want let me enter a name! When i click on the FB tab it doesn't go any where! I will try again!

          • Panelopebarnabus

It wouldn't let me enter a name either. You have to have “contacts” saved in your email. Once you have them set up there, go to Jimmy Dean and pull up your email and it will prompt you to click on those contacts to send out the emails. Hope that helps.

            • Kim

After you click that you want to share with friends, on the next screen under the facebook etc links there is a little line that says type in email addresses. With that I didnt have to connect to anything else or use contacts.

    • mmoor

Publix in Prattville, AL no longer takes Target coupons! Has anyone else heard this?

      • ChrissyPunkin

They stopped accepting them in Montgomery months ago.

      • Beth Anne

Publix in Vestavia hasn't in over a year. I think it is a new policy that is making it's way through the whole company.

      • Lmpate

The Publix on Greensprings does not take them either. They said it had to be within a five mile radius.

    • Boldingc1

The both the new and old publix in Lexington SC didn't have this idem on the shelf Futuro Wrist Wrap 1 ct. $3.79. Is there a reason why?

      • Ccgofish

Ditto in the ATL….Manager was baffled, as we scanned prices…..

    • Haley554

FYI: the Pepperidge Farm bread in my Publix in Jax, FL (Hodges Blvd) has $2/4 Q taped onto them. This makes them $1.45 for each loaf.

    • Couponmommynaomifoley

The Publix in Altamonte Springs, Fl no longer takes competitors coupons, anyone heard of this before? The manager said it's been about 3-4 months since they started.

      • Suz

I know that the Casselberry Publix will take Albertson's, Winn Dixie and Target coupons but only one competitor coupon per transaction.

        • JRiten

That is interesting. I noticed at my Publix, in Parrish, FL, that they had a sign up last week in the front window that says they take competitor's coupons.

      • Yellowrose899100

My Publix doesn't take competitor's coupons either in Okeechobee, Fl

      • Eae1959

It seems alot of this is up to Store Manager……..switch stores and see if its not a different policy.

    • L. Whitt

A couple of things (don't know if they were mentioned or not yet): I found $1/1 hangtags on the Welch's juice, so I stocked up! Also, the Johnson & Johnson 1st Aid To Go kits are currently priced at $.99 at CVS, so they are a good deal there too, with coupons!

    • wendyc33

i found at my winn dixie store a tearpad for 1.50/2 for the handi snack packs.

    • lovedbyGod2

I had a pretty good trip to Publix yesterday, but did not find the clearance lotion, and my Publix (on Forest Drive) doesn't have all of those trial sizes… does anyone know of one in Columbia that does? Which is the biggest Publix in Columbia?

      • Matt

I couldn't find the clearance lotion or the Nyquil travel sizes in Tyrone, GA

    • Matt

The Cheez-It's in Tyrone, GA had $1/2 coupons on each box, makes it pretty easy and cheap, $1.14 ea

Also, the Coffee Mate creamer B1G1 was just regular and low fats, it excluded flavored ones

      • moneysaved4disney

glad to hear about the coffee mate- the flavored ones are more often on sale, and I don't care for them.
Here is how I can usually tell which it is….the 16 oz are flavored and the 32 oz are not….I think! HTH!

      • Superjen

I have noticed the manager in Tyrone loves coupons, they have them taped to stuff a lot of times like they took apart a tear pad and put one on each item. It's nice to see them making the effort and even if I was just running in for one thing, I have picked up some deals that way.

    • Suz

Just got back from my shop at Publix. FYI: The Welch's coupons I had were for the Welch's Light which were not on sale for B1G1. Also the Red Baron coupons I had printed, were for Pan pizza or Pan pasta and those are not included in the sale either. But regardless a great week. I spent $23 and save $38!!

      • I had the same issue with the pizza. I wanted some so bad too! I thought maybe my Publix was just out of it and would try again later in the week. I'm sure they would have let it slide, but that's not really fair. Congrats on your good shopping trip!

    • Twatts

Publix has on clearance Maalox for kids for $2.49, buy it and use the Maalox coupon from Sunday 1/9 ad insert for $5.00, makes it free plus profit! I found these at a couple of Publix stores in the Birmingham area. They were located in the baby medications section on the baby isle.

    • Syfert4

I find it fascinating that in the afternoon of the day the ad comes out, my publix is out of many of the items I wanted. I am hoping it is due to the snow and ice vs. my dear couponing friends hoarding items!

      • MichelleK

Mine was out of a lot of produce to…..over half my produce list was missing! I know the q hoes did not take all the non sale produce! LOL!

      • Neasemommyme

just get a rain check, I always get a rain check and always ask for more deals than you need. Rain checks never expire and just hold on to them and when you find an awesome coupon, use it then!

        • Guest

rainchecks DO expire…30 days (read the fine print)

    • MichelleK

Today at the Publix in Montgomery (Dalraida location) they have caught on and started training the cashiers to supress the Qs that say DND (even 50 cent ones)…..I've heard of other stores doing this but its new to this store…..so if anyone needs to know on a tight budget….now u know. They also have started limiting the Publix deal q's (the LU codes) to one deal per transaction/ trip….previously they didn't do this but are cracking down a bit.

    • Palmersmith

Don't know if anyone has posted this, but my Publix had lots of boxes of Cheerios with $2/2 peelies.

    • Lfeaster65

Is anyone having trouble printing on the Brinks.com. It keeps asking me for my zip code and when I enter it acts like it’s printing and never does. Have printed other coupons just fine tonight.

    • Amber_fields72

Uncle Bens Whole Grain White Rice 4.4-5.5 oz., at $1.99 (99¢)
-.75/2 Uncle Ben’s product, any printable
-$1 off Uncle Ben’s White or Brown Rice, RP 1/09
      (makes it FREE)

On this ad, there is not a coupon in RP for $1 off, it is for .75. However, there is a coupon at the store in an in-store dispenser for $1. which will still make it free. Just wanted to let you guys know.

    • Lolly

Weight Watchers cakes are still B1G1 this week in Atlanta stores

    • V7nik

Just found $3/1 Glad Trash Bags,Bricks coupon! :)

    • Lolly

And FYI the in store coupons for $1 off were for 2lbs or more of uncle Bens Rice…The boxes on sale are only 15oz. I saw that too and wanted to get some free rice but I did not think they would make it that easy to put free rice coupons in front of you. I wish they did though. :)

    • LOVED my Publix shop today! I was hoping to score a few more of the money-makers on the NyQuil/DayQuil, Futuro, & the Johnson's (my store didn't have any of the items listed), but it was still a GREAT trip. The manager at my local store is so sweet–she opened up a lane just for me (with the closed bar behind me) so that no one would be stuck behind me. I ended up spending $18.12 on $135 worth of groceries & got a TON of stuff! (click the link on my name for picture & more info)

Just an FYI–Be sure to check the Uncle Ben's Rice for peelies even if you didn't get the $1/1 Q in your paper. At my Publix there were $1/1 peelies on all the chicken flavor so I got a whole bunch of FREE rice! Yay!

      • Byagulli

My publix told me they will no longer be ordering the small packs of dayquil and nitequil because instead of a few cent money maker they want us to buy big bottles, Whats the difference? the coupon qualifies, and they get their money. PUBLIX IS GOING DOWN HILL!!! BIG TIME

        • Susanna

Mine too – half the time they don't put tags on the BOGO's so you have to cross reference with the flier to find the right item. Last week I got the BOGO tostitos (or so I thought) but I got the wrong size apparently (I took the receipt back) & got charged full price for all 4 that I got! UGH! Is it not the store's responsibility to put tags on the sale items to make it obvious which ones are on sale or am I asking too much?

    • Abi

Is anyone else getting harassed about using more than one Publix coupon per customer per transaction per day? My store wouldn't let me use 2 store coupons with my BOGO Stayfree manufacturer's coupon. They treated me like I was the most selfish person in the world. My Publix is NOT where shopping is a pleasure…

      • Byagulli

yes. Publix is really cracking down on couponers. I dont know why. they get their money from manufactures. whats the difference. They used to be my favorite place but now Im doing better at Kroger. Less Harrassment

        • MichelleK

Yes, I got caught on that one today with the J&J/ bandaid deal…even though I wasn't buying 4 of the same thing…..they said I couldn't use but one LU Q deal at a “time”……the cashier was nice about it though….he's my usual cashier so he told me before he even rang up my stuff…..thank goodness he knew my habits so he could warn me first. Said they had a meeting about it this week. LETS EMAIL CS AT PUBLIX!

          • Nick

in Miami I used 6 of the Stayfree pad coupons at a time, no questions asked. They didn't have any Johnson's kits in my store.

          • Abi

I did email Publix – my store has had expired food on their shelves now I get home with thawed frozen items (yuck ice cream) because the managers come over and search my coupons. I don’t mind usually because I am not an unethical couponer but it is so disheartening to spend HOURS preparing for your trip, have a baby with you and food thawing in bags and have a manager knit pick through your stack. Shopping has NOT been a pleasure at my store lately!

        • Liz

They only get money from the manufacturer if it's a manufacturer's coupon. They don't get reimbursed at all on Publix coupons, the store takes the loss on those. I can understand why they limit those to one per customer. As an unemployed single mother, I'm just grateful they offer the deal at all! Like the Sundown deal this week. The Publix coupon and the manufacturer's coupons mean free vitamins! I'm certainly not going to complain because I only get 2 bottles free.

          • Abi

I thought they didn’t get reimbursed for store coupons too, but the manager told me that manufacturers pay Publix to have their coupons in the advantage flyers. Who knew.

      • Susanna

Mine never lets me use more than one per trip. They always point out that each one says one coupon per customer per visit (or something like that – maybe it's “per transaction”) – anyway, here in Orlando they have never allowed it.

    • Daisy

I didn't find the Blistex coupon in my SS 12/12 or B1G1 Stayfree liners in my SS 1/09…… :-( Are some coupons regional?

      • Abi

I had 2 different Smart Sources in my 1/09 paper and the Stayfree was in one but not the other…did you get 2 SS?

        • Nick

I got 2 SS also. Much appreciated :)

    • CoupMan

3/4 of my coupons were not where they were supposed to be. Couldn't find them at all. Normally don't have this problem.

      • Nick

Get this: two papers ,Miami Herald (a Miami paper) and Sun Sentinel (a Ft. Lauderdale paper) delivered to the same house have 25% different Qs in their ads . Even Miami Herald delivered to Key Biscayne (an island near downtown Miami) has different ads than the mainland. There is much variation so don't be surprised when the matchups don't match up.

    • Gaylas

My Publix's store shelves were pretty empty, but got rain checks for all of the good sale items. Still wound up with a cart full of good stock up stuff for my lowest total yet (only been at it for a month)! Good ad this week.

Publix question…my local ad had a lots more on sale than Jenny listed above. Does she list everything in her ad, or only the really good deals? I am still trying to learn what is a good price vs. not.

      • Ashes3383

She only lists the really good deals; usually when a BOGO or sale can be paired with a coupon. If she lists just a sale, with no coupon, it usually means that item rarely goes on sale, or that it's a great price even without a coupon.

    • Rwilson

Does anybody get the Chattanooga Times Free Press paper? I didn't get most of the coupons that were supposed to be in the 1/09 paper which totally bites! :(

      • guest

        me too!

      • Felicek

I get it sometimes. I am having the same issue buying the Tennessean.

    • Gigi

I walked around the whole store, but I can't find Johnson and Johnson First Aid to Go Kits and Johnson’s Head to Toe Baby Lotion in my Publix.

      • jrun

they were on the endcap at my store of the first aid aisle.

      • Malliekgirl

The first aid to go kits were in the travel size section at mine.

    • Cbijeau

most of the coupon links did not work

      • Sraquelw01

i know and it is getting very annoying, i like this site; is it that hard to remove the links that do not work? sorry for my rude bluntness.

        • Guest

Gett over yourself…Jenny does a great service for us….if the link doesn't work movce on to the next. If your getting annoyed go to another site and see if you save the same amount of $$ ( I doubt you will). I think you owe Jenny an apology…you are very rude!!

          • Danielle

Jenny provides a great service to all of us. She has saved my family so much money by providing this free service. Can't help but wonder if Jenny can ban the rude people from her site. Not sure what is worse, those that criticize Jenny or those that encourage the rudeness. Weren't you ever taught if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all? Jenny thank you for all of your hard work keeping the site up and running.

        • FreedomSpradley1

I don't think it's reasonable to expect Jenny to check every link every day. Most work when the ad first goes up. I make an effort to print all my coupons as soon as the ad goes up to get them while the getting is good.

          • Dave

Yes – and remember that the list is for ALL available coupons, including inserts, mailers, tearpads, printables, etc. that many folks never have access to. As far as printables go, you might have printed them a while back and have been waiting for the deal.

BUT – This topic does come up over and over again, so obviously it is an area that could be improved. Rather than bashing each other or getting defensive – how about finding ways to fix the problem? There must be some programming gurus out there that could suggest a way to flag the coupons that are no longer available to print. Or maybe you know someone who could give Jenny some constructive ideas. It will make the site better.

        • I understand its irritating, but most of the time if you go out and just do a google search for the company website the coupon comes up 90% of the time. What you don't understand is that she does this from her own free will and time. She gets paid just as much as you do to keep this site running – so be a bit more constructive instead of trying to break someone down because your frustrated. I use other sites aside from Jenny and I can tell you its happening elsewhere too. The best thing about Jenny is how she manages to keep UP with all the coupons in her database like no one else does. Sometimes those links are dead because the campaign may have ended last month but folks still have those coupons in their folders that haven't expired. She's a mom, wife, and has a life outside this website. If its easy for her to just copy and post a dead link than rewriting the whole blog then fine. Have you ever had the time to do what she's doing for you for FREE? Would you rather her take loads of time rewriting code to make sure errors are gone completely when they do happen (we're all human) or more time finding you the wonderful extra coupons she finds through the day?

There is no reason to apologize when you had every intention of being rude. Its just like complementing someone then throwing a “but…” in their face.

        • Liz

The links may be dead at a particular time, but they can be fickle. Lots of the printables reset and it's hard to tell when they do. Some I've seen reset monthly, others every couple of months, some randomly whenever the manufacturer decides to add more prints. I like seeing all the links up there so I can see if I already have it or I can keep checking the link to see if it reset.

Oh, and on Walmart's site is a link to $0.50 off the Kraft shredded cheese with a touch of Philidelphia, so if it's included in the sale, that would make each bag $1 after coupon doubling!!!

    • Chrissystupperware

im confused on the stayfree coupon freebie can someone break that down for me is that scenario for 2 packages or more? thank you!

      • Nick

Pick up 2 packages ($3.47 at my local Publix) Use 1 BOGO Manufacturer Q, one first one, one Green Advantage $1 off on first one. First one is $2.47 (again, my local price). Use 1 $1 off Manufacturer Q on second one, one Green Advantage $1 of second one, and already a BOGO (free), costs -$2. Total spent $0.47 + tax.

    • ashley

has anyone found the schick intuintion plus thats on clearance? mine is marked like 10 dollars. just wondering if this happened to be in Jenny's store or if they ring up a different price? anyone buy them and find out? thanks

      • Danielle

I dont think it is a clearnce item. I bought them at my store today, not the refills the actual disposable razors. With the coupon it ended up being $1.69 for 4 disposable razors. I went looking for the refill blades but my store did not have the BOGO.

    • Nick

      My experience in Miami:
No $2.99 Sundown D. All sold out.
Stayfree pads were $3.47, but still a great deal so I got 6. 1 year supply for $1.41?
No Johnson's first aid kits and their $2 roll of gause was not a good deal, even for 25c.
No cheap Futuro wrap/brace stuff, started at $6 and hard to find at all.
What exactly is a Ham and Cheese loaf. I'll buy 108 pads for my wife before I ask where the ham and cheese loaf is.
Spent: $84 (I blame the beer and spices)
      Saved: $104
      And the cashier said wow!

      • FreedomSpradley1

My daughter loves ham and cheese loaf. It's lunch meat with cheese embedded in the ham. It looks pretty gross but having cheese makes it desirable to a 2 year old.

    • jrun

my store accepts dollar general market coupons and there is a coupon booklet called DG coupon savings booklet (they gave it to me at the register at DG). anyways it has a few match ups for this week. $3 off 2 red baron pizzas, .25 off wonka peg candy, coffemate creamer, and a few more i can't remember.

      • Sszgorlott

when did you get the DG booklet??

        • Sandy

          Dollar General

        • jrun

          last week, friday i think.

      • Roehrigk

I went last night but didn;t see any booklet like that. :(

    • jrun

question for more experienced couponers… I bought 3 packs of the ensure yesterday. I used the B2G1 free coupon, 2 $3 off coupons, and the publix $2 off coupon. the cashier said i could either do the B2G1 coupon or the 2 $3 off coupons, but not both. I was confused by this b/c i know if you use a B1G1 coupon you can also use another coupon w/it. I would like to do the deal again, but don't want to if I am wrong.

      • Scrooge

You can only use 1MFG coupon and 1STORE coupon per item! The B1G1 you are refering to would be Publix ad B1G1. You could use a total of 4Q's(2MFG,2ST) per 2 items on Publix B1G1!

      • shelly

I was planning to do the same thing. To answer your question…It is one MF coupon per item, however, the B2G1 MF coupon “pays” for the FREE item only, thus you CAN use the other $3 MF coupons -one for each of the other items that are not “payed” for by the first coupon. Thus- you do have only one MF coupon per item.

      • Sue

if the $3 coupons were $3/1 mfg coupons then you should have been allowed to use them both with the b2g1, since the b2g1 only “attaches” to the 1 free item.

However – that being said – it is not a perfect world. It sounds like you may have run into a cashier that doesn't understand the rules – which happens rather frequently. Everyone handles it differently, but I have found it not worth the effort or embarrassment to spend much time arguing in such a case. I just remember that cashier and make a point to avoid their line for such a transaction in the future.

    • Tashamlindsey

How do you get the yellow and green flyers?

      • Mistydawnwall

I get mine from the customer service desk.

    • Vivian

2 deals not listed-reach toothbrush sale1;79- 1.00 coupon and quilted northern push 6 roll sale 3.99-1.00 coupon not bad.

    • April

Found 2 pack of Schick razors in the travel size section and was able to use the $2/1 from 12/5.

    • Ptogroup

Ok, just wanted to share… got a coupon booklet at Publix from Snackpicks.com. It has $11. worth of coupons. Some are on sale at Publix right now.Cheez it $1 off 2, Keebler Town House Crackers 2.00 off 2 boxes, $1 off 2 Keebler Fudge Shoppe Cookies, and Texas Toast $1.00 off 2. It also has coupons for Wholly, Keebler Wheatables, Bumble Bee tuna, Kaukauna Cheese Spread, and Hefty plates, cups or bowls. Thanks Jenny for all your hard work, most of the deals I get for my kids is because of your dedication and hard work. Blessings to you and yours. Adela

    • Rebecca D

Just left Publix the madhouse. Found Goodys barretts (barettes? spelling?) and ponytail holders & Scunci barretts for 2 for $2.99 and 2 for $2.29. wish I'd had a coupon, but half off is still great! in the clearance section.

    • KelliS

Did anyone find the $3.79 wrist wraps? My store was priced $6.99 & above.

      • Amyreese2010

        Nothing at mine either. bummer

      • sb08

Mine either!! I dont know what wrap they are talking about?

      • Haley554

Nope, all $6.99 and above at my store in Jax, FL also:(

    • couponQueen

Will Publix accept Walgreens Register Rewards as a competitor coupon?

      • Lisa J.

Register Rewards are manufacturer's coupons. They will scan at Publix just like any other manufacturer's coupon. I always take my RR to Publix and use them there.

        • Alevans85

Do you have to use the register rewards on certain things?

          • Christy

No You can use them for anything.

      • vcurry

My publix will not accept Walgreens Register Rewards even with a Walgreens residing in the same shopping plaza.

    • Patsouth

Had a good day at Publix saved $203.96 spent $ 137.29, may not have to shop for a couple weeks :)
This is so great for me, I used to Budget $250 a week for groceries

    • Jmo24849

I dont know if I missed it above…but refridgerated Jello/Pudding is on sale 3/$6. Target has a coupon for b3g1. Then I used 4 of the .60 mf coupons from 1/9. Got all 4 for $3.60. I thought that was a good deal!

    • Sharla

Just wanted to let a few of you know that some Publix stores do not take the Food Lion coupon for the Coffeemate. I tried using it today and they said since there was not a location near them, they wouldn't take it.

      • bigelow

they won't accept coupons that are outside a 5 mile radius. so any store that are within a 5 mile radius of publix example- target, lowes, walgreens, kroger ect… they will accept coupons from them. its called a competitors coupon….

        • Roehrigk

My Publix takes Food Lion and there isn’t one close by.

    • Sharla

Wanted to give you guys a little help :D Walgreens has a coupon booklet generated every month and this month they have coupons in there for this weeks sales at Publix. EX…Kraft singles, Gatorade & Glad trash bags. Oh, they also have CapriSun coupons as well. For some reason thos coupons aren't listed as options when creating a shopping list. HAPPY SHOPPING :D

      • Sharla

P.S. I got $287.00 worth of groceries for an AWESOME $62.00. WOOT WOOT!! Those Walgreens coupons were a HUGE help!

      • Susanna

Does anyone's publix take WG coupons? Mine doesn't, even when I tried to persuade the manager that if they sold the same products, they actually *are* competitors… (They claim they won't take the coupons because WGs – and any other pharmacy- are not competitors.)

        • Susanna

And WG's is right down the street from my publix too, well within the 5 mile radius, and they STILL won't take the WG's coupons…

          • Sharla

My Publix takes everything but Food Lion Coups. Rite Aid included and there’s no Rite Aid within a 5 mile radius. It does really depend on the store.

        • My local Publix' have a large sing in the window that states they accept any grocery competitor. So, Target, CVS, and Wags are not grocery stores…

        • Jane

It really is on a store-by-store basis. I shop at 2 different Publix that are about 5 miles from each other. One takes WAGs coupons, but nothing else (WAGS is across the street) and the other takes no drugstore coupons. You're just going to have to ask at your own Publix.

    • nanasap

Great trip to Publix today ! Got $181.74 worth of groceries for $63.25 ! My Publix had Schick Quattro for Women razor blades, reg $10.79 on sale 2 for $5.39.. after $2 off coupons, paid .70 each. Too bad they only had 3 left !

    • Susanna

I'm beyond aggravated after my publix trip. I plan and plan and it all goes awry fast. First several of the items listed as on sale, my publix didn't have on sale at all: Lender's bagels, Futuro wrist wrap not on sale at all and the cheapest one was $7, Dial liquid foaming hand soap wasn’t on sale either to name a few (but there were several others). Then there was no J&J first aid kit for 1.47 at all – only one for 9.99! And it wasn’t even on sale! Several other items like this as well. Other items I had coupons for but they were worth less than listed here – ex. My Uncle Bens was for 50cents, not $1.00 off. Several other items like this too, making my deals not so great. Finally, I think I must be doing something wrong because I don’t understand the math in some items listed: House Autry corn meal for $1.49, coupon for .50 off of 1 – so how is the total .49? I get .99 when I do the mate. Same with NY Texas Toast croutons @ $1 ea, coupon for .50 off 1 – how is this free? My math gets .50 per item. And I’m in Fl (Orlando) so no double coupons here either. Is everyone getting much better deals than I am? What am I doing wrong???

      • Phyllis

Georgia Publix double there coupons. So that is how those items are free! Always remember to get a rain check if they are out of something! There were several things that i could not get today because they did not have that price. I think some stores clearance theres before others! Don't be discourage! Over time it gets better and better! Our stores also take $5 off $25 coupons from world market, cvs, and rite aid! So if you are seeing some very low totals that is why! Today my total was $316.00 before coupons and i paid out of pocket $40! But, you have to remember, not all stores and policy are the same! Our local store also lets you stack up to three coupons on one item! Such as a manu. plus 2 competitors, which normally makes it free with some overage or almost free! Keep up the couponing it will pay off! Best of luck with your couponing!

        • Susanna

Thanks, that does make sense – it seems like most other publix'es (outside of FL I mean) take a LOT more coupons (and double them too) than the stores here. Mine won't take any of the coupons you listed (CVS,world market,Wags,Rite Aid,Dollar General,Family Dollar). Does anyone know why it's so different here in Fl? We could really use the deals everyone else is getting too!!!

          • Susanna

Oh also – it's not a matter of them running out (so I could get rainchecks) – it's the fact that the items are not even on sale here (when apparently they are in other places), so I can't get a raincheck for a non-sale item. My other beef is that they don't put signs on all the BOGO's either so you have to cross reference with the flier for specifics like which size of the item is BOGO and try and figure out which one is on sale that way – otherwise there is no way to tell since there is no sale tag on the shelf half the time….(Now to convince hubby to move to GA over this! lol)

            • Gigi

Try to make you feel a little better. I live in GA, but my Publix won't double the coupons, so I can't save as much as other southern couponers. But the only good thing about my Publix is that it takes Target coupon even where I live doesn't have Target.

            • Susanna

Thanks everyone – I'm determined to keep at it & just focus on the fact that even though I'm not getting as good of a deal on some things as people do in places where they double and have a liberal definition of “competitor”, I AM saving more than if I walked in and paid full price for everything. I do wish Publix would just come up with one policy and apply it to everyone so I don't have to run around to a several different stores to figure out their policies – I have 4 kids under 5 & sometimes it feels like bringing 4 wild goats with me to the supermarket! lol It's hard enough to concentrate while dragging a triple stroller behind me and tying to contain an excited 5 y.o. too… :)

            • I live in south FL and when I tallied up my end of y ear %, I saved much better than Jenny here on SS. SO, all that is to say that we can and do save $$ here in FL even without doubling coupons!!
*Find out what stores your Publix considers a competitor. My local 5 stores are all different!! 2 closest are opposites- 1 of them accepts ANY grocery store coupon, while the other will only accept a local grocery store Q. None will accept Target or CVS or Walgreens.

*Ignore the math that Jenny posts with each deal. Look at the price given, pull your coupons and do your own math. She does her math based on SC and we have to do ours based on FL.

              * Keep trying! You can do this!!

        • Eae1959

I'm in Kissimmee and feel your frustration, you can also use ALbertsons $5 off cpn plus their buy 1 get 2 free on meat IF publix carries the exact same thing. If you are a member of BJ'S check to see if Publix will accept those cpns as well. You can print many of those online and pick up in store when you shop there, My store takes all of those Comp. cpns……All of those do add up. Hope that helps a little bit.

        • Roehrigk

I love my Publix in Ga. too! They take Food Lion , CVS, and Rite Aid coupons as well. I spent 123.00 (Fri.) but after coupons I really spent 2.30! Great shopping day!

      • Kristinmeissner

not all georgia stors double the coupons so you wont get such great deals but in georgia you dont have to by two to get the b1g1 deals. i have found the publix deals are still better than walmart. if you have a flyer from another store you can take it to walmart the match that price and you can use a coupon with it!! good luck

      • MandyinFL

Unfortunately we dont have the same prices in FL or the same awesome rules (coupon doubling and splitting a bogo for 50% off)

        • Holiness07

Im from in florida and my publix does split bogos

      • Bkbbmullins

Publix does NOT double in Bluffton, SC either. I

    • Grisy

just one question … is the Health Look Publix Pharmacy Booklet located at the pharmacy or they give it to you at the customer service desk?? because I have not gotten one yet there just my regular advantage booklets :o(

      • jrun

i got mine on a display set up in front of the pharmacy. it looks like a brochure, but says coupons inside at the bottom. it had 3 coupons, ensure, vitamins, and something else..?

    • Cindy

i'm a novice and i have a question (probably a dumb one) how can you print more than 2 coupons? any time i print 2 it says “limit reached” how do i get more if i want to stockpile groceries?

      • Mandy

You can't on that particular computer – you will have to use more than one computer. Normally I print coupons on my desktop computer & on the laptop to get a total of 4. You can ask a friend to print them, or go to the library maybe?

        • Cindy

awesome, thanks for the quick response. do you happen to know if a static IP will work? (my husband is a computer nerd)

          • meekoheather

I doubt it will work, but I am no computer techie….I think the reason it won't work is because it installs some kind of cookie on your computer to block it out. Deleting cookies will not work either. But they do it to make it fair to everyone.

          • Valerie

My computer nerd (husband) believes it is actually per computer and the ip address shouldn't matter. We had a static IP for a while and I didn't have any problems… good luck!

          • Smurphy

Actually I believe the programs rely on the computer’s MAC address, the actual electronic signature for the computer hardware, pretty much like the ESN that allows the cell company to recognize your handheld phone. (or the VIN# on a vehicle). These numbers don’t personally identify a “person” but rather just identify a unique machine.

        • MandyinFL

You should probably just print 2 so the rest of us can have some. There is nothing more frustrating than going to print a coupon and they are all gone bc everyone prints more than they should.

    • tori729

FYI the healthy choice $1/2 frozen meal coupons aren't working for me. :(

    • Lskellyrn

My store did not have Futuro wrist wraps on sale. Does anyone know if this was for real or a typo? I will be willing to keep looking at other stores if anyone has found them on sale.

      • Frugal4life

There were plenty at my publix with q's free

      • Malliekgirl

        Mine either!

      • Roehrigk

My Public had Futuro but not on sale! Very expensive even with coupons.

    • colleen

can't find the rp coupon on 1/2 for rice a roni, anyone else see it? it's the free pasta roni offer.

      • AUTiger

        I'm having the same problem

      • MandyinFL

Nope I dont see it. Then again half the coupons listed on here are never in my inserts. I must live in a bad area!!!

      • Kboatner96

I had two rp coupon inserts in my sunday paper. the coupon was in one of those inserts, but not the other. frankly, I often go searching for a coupon that is supposed to be in an insert and never see it. it's really annoying.

    • joy

I'm a new couponer…question- If I have a manufacturer coupon for .75 off 3 items and also have a .50 off 2 items can I use both? Thanks!

      • jbukendall

You can only use both if you have buy 5 items. The .50 off 2 is the best deal if you store doubles the coupon.

    • Michelle

Jenny, I love your site. Thanks for introducing me to Publix which I felt was too high before but now know I can save more there. It's now my favorite store. BUT..(sorry it has to be capitalized.) What I don't enjoy is constantly having to get the rain checks because everything is wiped out. I understand loving a good deal but there are other people who'd like to be able to get them also. In my case, I'm unemployed and what I was trying to get was a household neccessity. Coupons are how we survive these days and it's very frustrating not to be able to get the things you need or can afford.

      • Kim

I understand your frustration, and it seems to happen no matter what store I shop at. Rain checks, however, can be great! Just ask what their policy is on using coupons with rain checks. At least a few stores around here will take coupons after the expiration date as long as the rain check was issued before the expiration date. I actually like it because it alleviates my stress!

      • Germaine Jenkins

I also discovered that stores will extend the date on their rain check if that item remains unavailable on the the rain check expiration date.

      • whitney

you know there has been a snow storm. so wouldnt you expect everything to be low due to the shortage of trucks coming in because of ice roads and road closings…

        • Michelle

Seriously…it happens all the time. It doesn't matter if it's snowing or 100 degrees outside. They wipe out everything! And I do appreciate the rain checks but people need to have common sense and not be greedy.

          • danica

Michelle – this happens at my publix as well and over the 3-4 few weeks they put up signs that say no more than 5 deals per person per day, which helps a little, but when they don't stock enough things (cat food takes a lot of space on the shelves so there are less of them up) it still runs out.

          • MandyinFL

Maybe its your store. I have never gone to buy something and had it wiped out. Maybe try back in a few days, they are always restocking!

        • Jbnkruz

Yes the stores have been empty due to the snow/ice storm.
The Publix warehouse in Ga was empty due to made rush of customers in their stores. Trucks were not able to make it the warehouse to refill meaning product have to be shipped from Florida warehouses.

    • Frugal4life

Hey has anyone heard of a cashier reducing the value of a MQ because it cause overage. Happen to me today @ Publix with the Vasine and Sundown Vits. She manualy reduce my $3. Q. She was nice but she said that she could not go over the product price.

      • Haley554

This happened to me today too. I shopped at a different Publix, because mine was out of almost everything. I used the $6/2 store Q for the Sundown Vit. D's and she cancelled my $3/2 man. Q. I know it's not a big deal b/c I got them free anyway, but I was a little bummed b/c my Publix has always allowed overage.

    • Lolly

I have over-charge on one of my coupons and they did not reduce the coupon… I had other things I was buying so it just gave me more savings in the end. If its a Manufra. coupon publix gets that much money back from the company. So thats why I said I should get that much,

    • keb2009

just a heads up if you are late shopper like me, the free red barron pizza MIR is for the pan pizza only, which is not included in the BOGO.

    • Applejuicecook

just did FANTASTIC on diapers at publix. the Huggies sizes 3 diapers – 140 count box – were $19.99 (saw the same box at Target for $34 this a.m.) i used the $3 store coupon & the $3 Food Lion competitor's coupon so i paid $13.99 for $34 worth of diapers. so happy!

      • ashley

where did you find the $3 food lion coupon?

    • ireneY

Heads up — just found a $.50/1 MQ for Thomas' product in a Kroger homemailer “Makeover Breakfast.” It should double at Publix so each English muffin should be $.89 each. Yummy with the Smuckers on sale!!

    • Eae1959

Publix……John Freida Hair Spray marked down from 3.99 to 2.75 had $2 cpn…..my Eagle eye caught that it rang up full price…………cashier fixed that so I got two hair sprays for 1.50… Schick Razors BOGO….cpn BOGO….searched for another cpn but ended up getting 3 packs for 6.99… Hubby is killing me on my savings with those “wings he just had to have for football today”…UGH……..

      • Rachael

My Publix has the policy that if it rings up incorrectly, you get it for free. Does every Publix not have that policy? I didn't know about it until it happened to me and they entered it for free.

        • Kristy

That happened to me too. Love free stuff!

        • Jbnkruz

It does not apply to marked down items.

    • Carol

i don't even print them. i don't want to download anything on my computer. i do GREAT just buying around 5-6 papers a week and using the coupons from there, all you and blinkies!!!!!!! thank you SO much for this site! i used to pay for this kind of info so i so appreciate saving money by using southern savers instead!!!!

      • Jacqueline G.

Quit being so paranoid and print coupons. You'd save money in the long run if you do it right.

        • Ann

Jacqueline G – I usually don't make comments to people on here, but this is the 3rd RUDE and UNNECESSARY comment that you have made to people just in the few comments I have read. Get a life and find something better to do with your time. The comment section is for helping people or sharing deals, not for talking down to people. And take your “world's smallest violin” and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

        • KellyL

I only print high value coupons from the internet. Also, be aware that there is virus out there that is installing “coupon” toolbars to your computer. These are invisiblie toolsbars and they track every where you go. Then you start getting strange popups (advertising, etc). We had to do a major cleanup on our computer. Now I run Spybot after every time I do print coupons.

    • Bkebp

My publix will not take target coupons in Duncan,SC

I went to a different Publix today (mine was out of everything!) and they refused to allow me to use both the B1G1F mfr coupon as well as the $1 off coupon for the Stayfree Maxi deal. They said the B1G1F coupon applied to both packs, and that I could only add the Publix coupon to each item. No matter how I explained, they refused. Maybe I was explaining it wrong, and I cannot find this specific circumstance in their coupon policy. Can someone tell me how to explain this scenario to them?

      • amy

BTW – I spent so much time explaining, I took longer than expected and then had to rush home. In my rush, I got a ticket for speeding. So much for all the money I saved on all the rest of the deals.

        • Kristy

Oh no….but I did this the same way you explained it at Walgreens last week.(I was in a pinch & not close to a Publix. The $1 off cpn applied to the 1 you were buying & the b1g1 applied to the one you are getting free.

          • Mamaberry

That's always been my understanding too. When I first started couponing almost 2 years ago it was explained, put all your items on the conveyor. Then place the coupons that apply on top of each item they apply to. The BOGO applies to the FREE item, and the $$/1 applies to the other.

**not that you literally have to put them out, but for illustrative purposes it worked fo rmy brain :) **

      • Bbygrl256m

I actually work at a Publix and that is how it is explained to us, that the B1G1 speaks for both the items and from there only a store coupon can be used. Either way you are only paying like .63 for two packs of stayfree because you can still use 2 store coupons from the green flyer. I still think it depends on which Publix you shop at because Publix doesnt have a “coupon policy” it is at the Store Managers choice with the exception of the Walgreens, Rite aid, CVS coupons that is a District Managers Call. I hope this helps in any way.

      • Practice_peace

Type your comment here.I had this same situation last week. I told my cashier that I did not want them the Stayfree pads if she wouldn't accept all of my coupons. I knew I was right, but didn't want to argue. I sent an e-mail to Publix when I got home asking if I should have been able to use all the coupons that I presented. The manager of my Publix called me yesterday to apologize. He said that ABSOLUTELY I should have been able to use all of them. He was going to talk to his cashiers so that this doesn't happen again. He also said that if I ever have trouble again with a cashier not taking my coupons to just ask for a manager. He assured me that the cashiers job is NOT to be the coupon police, but to just take the coupons. I was VERY impressed. Publix remains to be my favorite grocery store.

    • thebanksfamily

Can someone help me here – I just printed a bunch of coupons from Walgreens site – the say “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens”. Does this make it a Manufacturers coupon or a store coupon? Could I use it at Publix as a competitors coupon?

      • Jvs23love

you can use them at publix if that is where you are shopping they take comptetiter coupons!

        • thebanksfamily

Okay – that is what I was hoping!

        • Bbygrl256m

But keep in mind not all Publix take Walgreens or CVS, only “supermarket” coupons. I know this is true in North Alabama.

      • Roehrigk

I use Walgreen's and Rite Aid coupon's all the time and they take it at my Publix. It doesn't matter if it's manuf or not, It is a Walgreen's coupon.

    • MandyinFL

There was a BOGO coupon for Splenda in last weeks SS (very last page). I got 2 boxes of 200ct Splenda for 2.99 after using both the BOGO and $2 off printable Q.

      • mariek

Thanks!! Going to look it up now.

      • My BOGO coupon says “Up to 3.99”.

    • Brianne leigh

Jenny, I would like to thank you for all of the hard work that you put into this site in order for us to be more wise with the resources that God had given us. However, I have seen a phenomenon that has reached my community. People that first started out couponing to save money on their weekly grocery trip have turned into people who are greedy couponers. It is like an addiction. Instead of getting what their family needs for the next few weeks, they are stocking up on what their family will never use in three years. This leads to a shopping frenzy where only the first few people are the fortunate ones. It is no longer about how much can I save but instead how much can I get with no regard for anyone else. We should all remember WHY we started doing this in the first place. It is not about selfishness or greed. We need a reality check!

      • Smile74

I have noticed the same thing, and it really is very frustrating to go in to the store the day of or the day after a great deal is advertised and find the shelf completely empty because someone has come in and wiped them out. I think it is very selfish. And it makes it hard on those of us with small children to coupon successfully. Sometimes I just get frustrated and stop doing it for a couple of weeks after an experience like that. It is well worth it, but it is an awful lot of work to then go in and find out that one or two people took what everyone should have been able to enjoy. I can't imagine what full-time working mom of three can possibly make it to the store the moment they open to take advantage of a deal. I know I can't. :-/

      • itismedia

There is a lady in our town that writes for the local newspaper. She buys 8 newspapers every week which is fine. She is a family of 4. I understand couponing. I have been doing it for about a decade, but she talked the other week about what a great deal she got on Pop-Tarts and how she “stocked-up”, again great. However, stocking up for her was 40 boxes! Really? I have a family of 6 and often have extra teens hanging out and 40 boxes still seems ridiculous to me! I think people like this, the extreme couponing show, etc…are taking the level headedness out of couponing. It is only a great deal if you aren't throwing things out in a month or two after they go bad.

    • Abby 2

Does anyone know if you can use 2 coupons on 1 item at Publix.

      • Laura

My publix allows 1 store cpn and 1 manf cpn per item!

    • Mommylovesqpons

I need some help with the band-aid/neosporin coupon deal. I have 2 store coupons $2/2. And one $1.50 on 2. Do I need to buy 4 products or still just two?

      • Ballews

You will use 1 store copoun for $2/2, then 1 Manufacturer coupon for $1.50/2.
It wouldn't be worth it to buy 4 unless you have 2 Manufacturer coupons!

        Hope that helps.

      • karen

I might be late, but check your newspaper and if you need band-aid only use.
        $.50 off 1 (2)
        and one 2.00 coupon :)

    • Jacqueline G.

You should see me. I'm playing the world's smallest violin.

    • Liz

Also don't forget to get the “Thank You” booklet at Publix has a store coupon for Kleenex of 2/$2 it will make your kleenex free :)

    • Andrea2543

i found a good deal today on toddler formula…if you have the $5 off enfagrow printable coupons still, enfagrow is on sale $16.99 this week at my publix (it's usually $18.99) and today's SS in the paper had a publix coupon for $7 off ANY two cans of enfamil (incl. enfagrow). so i basically spent $17 on two cans of enfagrow (24 oz each) which is over half off the usual price. thought i would pass this along

    • Lolly

I just wanted to thank Jenny for all the hard work she does for this site! Wonderful job Jenny!

I also wanted to comment on the people that are saying there are greedy couponers! For real people? Complaining that a store is out of something and the first thing you do is call people out on being greedy? There is nothing wrong with stocking up on a good “sale” price. Also a lot of people that coupon have large families, 6+ and large families need more food. So people need to stop complaining about the empty shelves and either get a raincheck, go back on another day, or shop early. We are not going to run out of sale items for everyone! You just have to be patience and go back some times. I have gone to publix plenty of times with empty shelves and the first thing I don't think is ” greedy people in front of me” no I think ok they will restock come back in a few days. The sale is a week! You have time. We are all here to save money! So patience and working together is key! Thats why we have sites like Southernsavers. To share good sales and help one another!

      • I agree with you to a certain extent. However, Not everyone can come back another day because the sale lasts a week. I drive 50 miles to go to Publix once a week. When I was there last week, a lady cleared the shelves of all of the Peter Pan Peanut Butter, at least 14 jars or more. I'm glad that I was not planning to buy any. No, I do not assume that just because a shelf is empty that it was all taken by greedy couponers, and yes, I will ask for a raincheck. But, there are people who do this. How big of a family do you have to have to use this much peanut butter in a month? Or, was she donating it? That would be a good thing, but please, leave some for others.

      • Jrcouponator

I agree with Suemh. Stocking up for a large family is great but with the expiration dates on peanut butter & periodic sales – how much could she need? I've had store clerks tell me they knew of situations where folks were seizing special deals and reselling at their store. There's no law against it but certainly doesn't seem like the right thing to do. As Jenny says, “It will be on sale again.”

        • Susanna

You know some stores just don't stock enough in the first place too. At my Walgreens the manager has told me that they only had “a couple of those” (toothpaste) in the first place, that week. (TWO boxes of toothpaste when it's going to be on sale?? Are you kidding me!!?) It seems ridiculous to me that a store can't stock up on the items that will be on sale the following week – but it seems to happen a LOT around here. I think they know that most people won't bother to ask for rainchecks too.

In addition, at walgreens say the limit is two per visit/transaction. Well, they will only give you a raincheck for 2 of the item even though if they had it in stock I might go twice and get 4 total (in 2 trips over the course of a week) – which STILL shouldn't be shelf clearing. (4 items should not clear a shelf if the store is ordering properly for heaven's sake!) But I (and other's I'm sure) only end up getting the deal on two because walgreens can't be bothered to plan ahead for their own sales. Or, if they only stock two in the first place and my coupon is for $1 off of two – then I'm a shelf clearer? That's ridiculous too.

So… it might not be shelf clearers (or people buying a ton) that are the problem, it could be the store not ordering a reasonable amount in the first place.

          • workatwags

Walgreen's are not not like the supermarkets. You are right, they only carry a certain amount. What you have to realize is that the store managers do not know what coupon's are out there to make their sales a much better deal. You can always ask for a raincheck. I realize that will mess up your plan, but it is an option.

      • Aimeemohler

There is a family in our city who go and buy up every item that is a great deal and they turn around a resale them in their gas stations for 3 times the price. This is a greedy couponer and it is not fair to those of us who are trying to save money so we can stay home and homeschool our children! So I think it is just fine to complain! CVS only restocks once a week and this happened to me this past week. Even the manager doesn't like what this family does!

        • Eae1959

My CVS now limits printed coupons to two per person for this reason…..Gas station owners were stocking their store and wiping out CVS every week. There are some that can ruin it for others, I didnt need to wipe out the store but sometimes 3 items might be nice.

        • Mlbam6

How is that greedy? If there was product left on the shelf ,after they made their purchases, for you to buy would you still think their actions greedy? Probably not because you have gotten yours. The attitude on here continues to be “no fair for me”. That family seems to have great business sense just on a way smaller scale than the GREAT CVS CHAIN (because CVS does the same thing to you and you do not even know it. Their markup on products is HUGE!!

    • Gettobobs

The Power of Fruit Frozen Ice Bars are GROSS….yuck. Maybe it was just me, but I would not buy them again!

      • karen

I think they make a good diet treat since no sugar is added!

    • Lauragk_920

My smart source inserts from 01/09 did not have the Uncle Ben's rice coupon or the Maalox for $5.00 off coupon. My 12/12 insert did not have the Welch's juice coupons. What is going on? Does anyone else have this problem? I'm in the Augusta area.

      • Coupons vary by region. Check the variations kist for your paper under the “Weekly Inserts” tab.

        • Lauragk_920

Where exactly is the “weekly inserts” tab? I have checked the “Sunday ad inserts” tab and the link for Augusta Chronicle was a preview and did not match the coupons that were actually in our inserts. I would greatly appreciate any help on this b/c if I can find the list of what coupons were in these inserts it would save a lot of time. Thanks so much!

          • I'm sorry, I named the tab wrong, but you did look in the right place. Maybe you're not reading the list right. It is the same as the preview but color coded. If the coupon is listed in red, that means that your paper did not have it. If it is in blue, that means it was in your paper, but not in the preview or it is a little different, like maybe for a different amount. The black ones are the ones that were in your paper as they were stated in the preview. HTH

            • Lauragk_920

That makes so much sense! I was reading it wrong, or at least I did not realize what the color code was. Most of our list for AC was in red. In fact, almost all of it was in red. Thank you so much for clarifying. That make a world of difference! :)

            • I'm glad that I could clarify it for you. I think you should check out the variations list for other papers that you have access to. Then try to get a larger paper with more coupons. I took a look at AC for 01/09, and it was amazing how many you did not get.

      • Kboatner96

I have this same problem ALOT and has made it frustrating to hunt down non existent coupons. I wonder why they can't just print the same inserts for all papers in the region? On the other hand, I have found/have coupons not even mentioned on SS, though that doesn't happen often. It has caused me to go back to just clipping everything I am interested in, using SS as a starting point, but ultimately checking the sales flier of the store to get a complete list and match it up myself.

        • Lauragk_920

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I love Southern Savers b/c of all the up to date info on printables! But as far as coupon matchup for Augusta Chronicle inserts, I find it's not completely reliable. Anyone know where Jenny is from? or what paper she uses?

          • kjmiller

As SUEMH mentions below, you need to check the “Weekly Inserts” tab for variations specific to your paper. If the Augusta Chronicle is not listed, that means that no one from that area has volunteered to provide her with that information. If you wanted to help her with that, I''m sure she'd be pleased!

      • Nuismommy

i was really disappointed that i didn't get the welch's juice either…i'm in florida

    • Wisecoupons

Just curious…I thought that you could use 1 mfr. coupon for every item (even if one mfr. coupons is a $/2). I went to purchase 2 boxes of iced tea with two coupons, one for $.55/1 and one for$1.00/2. The store mgr was the cashier at my Publix (lucky me :) and he refused to take both coupons unless I got a third box of tea. I'm very confused! Am I right? Is he right? Is it at the store's discretion???? Thanks to anyone who can help!

      • He is right. Your $1 off 2 covers both boxes, so you can not use another unless it is a store coupon. You could have used 2 55¢ off 1 coupons if you had them instead of the $1.00 off 2.

        • Wisecoupons

Thanks! I am relatively new to this whole thing. I guess I am not reading some of Jenny's strategies right. I keep thinking some of the scenarios use the coupons differently. I have so much to learns! :-)

    • Mlbam6

Such rude comments during such unstable economic times. Good job all you couponers who prepare for the future not just for today!

    • DW in GA

In what I assume is the yellow advantage flyer (yellow-4-page with “New Year, New Savings” printed on it) for my area (lagrange, ga) there is a special on Nestle Coffee-mate liquid creamer 16oz 4 for $6. This differs from the one listed above. My question is does Publix require me to buy all 4 for the discount? I know they don't on the B1G1…didn't know if it was the same for Yellow Advantage.

      • albert_the_gator

I'm in Florida (this may differ in Georgia), but as long as the store flyer promotion is not a barcode, then you only need to buy 1 to get it at the sale price of $1.50. When the cashier enters the “LU” code, from the promotion, the price will be reduced to the sale amount.

      • karen

It is different because it is the smaller size. the bigger size is the one on sale. You are better off buying the big one.
If you want the 16 oz, you do not need to buy 4 to get them for 1.25.
Again, you are just better off buying the big one. I am pretty sure it is on sale as they have the same sales almost every where.. I am in GA too.
I would recommend that you look at your weekly newspaper (publix paper) and you'll see it there.

    • Patty

Y'all don't forget about the $1.50 off Smuckers printable from a few months back. Surprisingly I saved it – yippee. Wonder why Jenny didn't list it?

      • Yes, I've been saving these, too! 2 Smuckers for 13¢! I actually bought 4 in various flavors for just 26¢. Now I'm all stocked up. I was glad to see that the sugar-free was included in the sale. The SF cherry preserves are awesome!

    • abj

Don't know where else to ask this, does anybody ever see Heinz 57 sauce on sale? In the 18 months I have been doing Southern Savers and Publix and Winn Dixie I, have never seen it, my hubby loves it but I hate to buy it, it is expensive! Thanks.

      • BBarker

Publix hasn't had Heinz 57 on sale for as long as I can remember. However, look for Kroger to put it on sale towards the end of May or the beginning of June (just in time for summer cookouts).
        Hope this helps!

      • Heartathome4ever

Our Piggly Wiggly ran a sale before Thanksgiving with Heinz 57 2/$5. I had 2 75cent coupons, which were doubled, so I got them for $1 each. Piggly Wiggly isn't known to have great deals, but ours doubles coupons up to 99cents, so occasionally I can get a good deal by combining coupons with sales.

      • itismedia

It is the same in this house. I am not sure how you (or your husband) feel about store brands, but Kroger has a store brand called “1887” I believe and my husband says it taste exactly like it. It is a lot cheaper than Heinz. HTH

    • Phillips4774

I am not sure why lately I am having so much trouble getting coupons. Every coupon on click on says “no prints available”. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

      • Myka

        I'm having the same problem.

        • Sandy

They only allow so many coupons to be printed and released to the public. The coupons are gone. Sometimes, if you google the coupon you can find another link to a working coupon.

          • Babykeckles

I also think that the shows like “extreme couponing” aren't helping. I have been doing this for about 2 years and have tried to get my friends involved with very little success. Now that they saw that show, all of them have jumped on board. Just simply means more people trying to get the coupons.

            • I agree with you about the show. Since it aired, the number of people on these boards who say that they are new at this has at least tripled. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this, I just think that the show gave people unrealistic expectations. They all expect to save 90% on their groceries every week right away.

    • Altuna1968

      • Babykeckles

I always look at how the first coupon printed (i.e. just the coupon, the coupon with ad below or centered in the middle). If it is just the coupon or only has a small ad under it, i flip the page and print the second. This still leaves a strip in the middle that is unused, but that is what I make all of my lists on the next week. Also, if you are using coupon.com or something similar, it prints 3 per page so you can just mark what you want while you make the list and then print all at once. HTH

      • Jbush27

After the first coupon prints out I turn the paper the other way then hit the back button on the computer and then refresh and it prints on the other end of the paper.

    • Kristy

That happened to me too. Love free stuff!

    • Kimbocker

Is there a trick to getting Target to print more than one copy of a coupon?

      • alainafaith

I can't, but I just go to a different computer and print from there.

      • karen

Ok, so first of all, I do not want people to go crazy about what I am going to say, but if anyone wants to correct me, PLEASE do it on a nice way :)
Well, I'd just make a copy..
        As per a target coupon
“This coupon for use by original recipient only. Only one coupon or offer per transaction. Void id altered, transferred, purchased, sold or prohibited by law” blah blah blah. It does not say that coupons can not be copied.
Again, I do not if there is a general coupon rule, but this does not say it can't be copied… just saying =)

        • Guest

Please no not copy I will say somewhere on website you agree not to copy before you print them. When you first print target coupons you agree to there terms.

    • Brenda

Are there any printable coupons for Smart Balance milk? Haven't had a coupon in our paper for a while.

None of the links for the Aunt Jemima frozen waffles are working for me. When I get to the source there isn't a coupon for the product. I'm in Georgia. Do I need to enter a different zip code to get the coupon?

Target has a coupon for $.75 off 6-oz or larger Kraft cheese (shredded or block) making it $1.25.

Did anyone find the $1 off coupon for uncle bens rice in the red plum from 1/09…I still have the insert but did not find that coupon

    • Jam0267

It drives me crazy when a site says that I printed a coupon I know that I HAVE NOT printed. Does this happen to anyone else?

      • Mandy

It usually means that there are no more prints available for that item. Not necessarily that you have already printed it…Gotta get there fast!

      • It usually means that they are out of prints. They usually set a number of total prints allowed.

If you live in the Nashville, TN area, there are Eggland's Best Coupons in the SS 10/31. Use them on the eggs this week for a great deal on Egglands Eggs–my favorite!!

    • Jwhite

I tried using the Target coupon at Publix (Irmo) for the whip cream and they wouldn't let me use it because they said it has to be a competitor's grocery store.

      • None of the Columbia area stores take Target. They will only take: Kroger, FoodLion, Bi-lo, and maybe Piggly Wiggly. As far as I know.

      • Arinedge

Some Publix take the coupons and some don't. One Publix in my town takes Target coupons because they are located near each other. Call around to the Publix in your area.

    • Braydensmom708

Has anyone had a problem with there coupons printing out sideways and cutting off the coupon if there is an ad at the top? How can I fix this…I have tried everything I can think of! Thanks:)

You may have your printer set to print in landscape? Did you try adjusting it? HTH! :)

My Publix in Freehome, GA is marking down frozen food like crazy. The manager says they have to make room for over 100 new products, so he's discounting everything at least 50%. Combine with coupons for Lean Cuisine, Stouffers, and Healthy Choice, and I got a bunch of food for free.
