what's this tearpad thing I see all the time?

      • ChrissyPunkin

Sometimes there will be a little pad of coupons near the product where you can tear off a coupon. Not all stores will have the same ones–just be on the lookout for them.

      • Renee

A stack of coupons on the shelf that are on “a tear pad” that you “tear off”. Was told these are normally out in the store a few weeks before the item goes on sale.

      • macboy

Yes, I've NEVER seen a tearpad before. -Orlando.

      • Sarah

My Publix rips apart most of the tear pads and stuffs them into the coupons you can pick up at the service desk along with the store advantage buy flyers so you might find them there as well.

      • Marina115

my store keeps the tearpads next to the yellow/green fliers at the front entrance. I rarely see them actually attached to the shelves.

      • I see more in the alcoholic beverage section than anywhere else in my stores…

    • macboy

There is a $2 Listerine coupon in the Healthy Savings Booklet, but it expires on FRIDAY.

There is a Target Giftcard coupon for the Viva Towels. If your store takes the giftcard deals, then you can save with the purchase of 2 sets of Viva towels.

There's also a Target coupon for the Maxwell House coffee online.

      • germangirl

Where did you get the Target gift card coupon for the Viva towels?

    • Melanieplynch

      Macboy…you forgot to call “first!”

      • macboy

Unforunately, I wasn't first. It was “cami white”. I merely replied to her comment. Maybe next time. :-)

Oh, but I see. She didn't call “first” so maybe I should have said it???

Couldn't find the .75 cent FiberPlus cereal coupon on the Kellogg's website but I found a $1 coupon at kelloggsfiberplus(dot)com :)

      • ChristyMy

Thanks! I was wanting to do the mail-in rebate so these make it even better! :)

        • 3monkeysmom

          No prob :) I didn't know there was a rebate…what's it for?

          • ChristyMy

It says it's the “Kellogg's FiberPlus Cereal Try Free Offer”. I think I found it at iheartriteaid a couple of weeks ago. The link is www(dot)kelloggsfiberplus(dot)com/images/FiberPlus_Guarantee(dot)pdf

I didn't see a link for it on the fiberplus website so I hope it's legit. If you look into it and think otherwise, please let me know. Thanks!

            • 3monkeysmom

Looks legit to me :) Thanks for the heads-up!

      • Ava501

Thank you for the $1.00 coupon info- I was bummed that I couldnt find the other one on the Kellogg website, but this is better:)

Pillsbury not only has baking items but if you scroll through there are personal care items, pet items, diapers and a lot of other items you can get coupons for.

    • Uscsteph08

My Publix in Columbia, SC does not take Target coupons :( They said only BiLO, Piggly Wiggly and Food Lion.

      • Mckeown_kayla

I live in Columbia too, I tried to use it at the one on Rosewood and they wouldn't take it. They DO take Bilo, piggly wiggly, and food lion coupons?

        • Tammya6688

My publix will only take one competitor coupon per transaction and it has to be a store within 10 miles (Wal-Mart, Winn-Dixie, K-Mart,) and they will not take drug store qs.

          • CrazyCouponClipperChris

Publix stores in NE Orlando (Seminole County) don't double coupons and only take grocery competitor coupons (like Albertson's), but not coupons from Target, Walgreen's and the like. However, Publix will take the spend $50 save $5 Albertson's coupons, which is nice on a heavy week.

    • Sheila

Jenny thanks for all you do, your website is fantastic!!

Can someone tell me how the green giant canned veg comes out at 14c? I can't get the math to work out. What am I missing?

      • Fgavent

        .64 / can x 2 cans = 1.28 – (.50/2 coupon doubled to) $1 = .28 for 2 cans = .14 per can

        • Sheila

Thanks, I live in florida, they do not double coupons. Still a good deal though.

    • brooke lane

anyone else not able to kid the honest kids coupon?

      • Amber

worked fine for me, it allows 3 prints too! keep trying, it's a great deal

        • April

It allowed unlimited prints for the 8pk juice.. great price!!

          • Kelly

When I clicked the link it took me to a “web page not found” page, then to the Honest Tea page, but there was no link for a coupon. Anyone else have this issue?

            • brooke lane

same with me.. then i went to contact and there's a coupon link on there that you can get it off of.. but when i press print it says i have to allow cookies (which are allowed in my settings) so i dont know what the deal is.. grrr i hate technical difficulties! haha

            • Hender328

When you sign up for the e-mail. The print button appears on the side of the coupon.

            • Rdnckgirl1973

maybe i am asking the wrong thing.

Welch’s Essentials Juice Cocktail Blend, 64 oz., at $3.25 ($1.62)

Can someone explain that to me?

            • kjmiller

Yes, same thing happened to me. Maybe I will try again though (seems like it worked for some).

      • NikkiC

I had to go to http://www.honesttea.com/coupons, the enter my name/email and sign-up for the newsletter. It then let me print the coupons and there is a THREE print limit! YAY! :-)

    • Sjp00036

I don't see the green giant coupon in the SS 10/24?

      • Danyeln

Sadly not everybody gets evr ycoupon in the Sunday inserts. They vary from region to region and even city to city.

      • There is also a .40 off ANY size or type of Country Crock on Country Crocks website. Used it on both my seasonal cinnamon butter and our regular tub butter!

Edit: OH! Apparently Jenny added that coupon to the archives already! Didn't know if she had yet or not. Sorry

    • Heather

There's also a ,40/1 Idahoan potato 4oz or larger printable on the SmartSource website.

    • Alicia

How do the Rubbermaid containers come out to free or a money-maker? $3.39 – $1 – $1 does not equal free.

      • Dana

The Rubbermaid is 40% off this week. So take 40% off the regular price of $3.39 plus the 2 coupons and that should make it about free.

      • Brittany

I was thinking the same thing too at first…I'm thinking the $3.39 price is before the 40% off sale price! Then it would equal free :)

      • Beckyhill216

As the entry says, they are 40% off:
        3.39 – 40% (1.36) = 2.03 – 1 – 1 = .03
OK, not quite free, but close enough for me!

      • Hillary

      • Freemn4

        I purchased a pkg of 4 containers 40% off = $1.91 and then I used $1off manf q + $1 off advantage q which made then free plus small profit of $0.09.

    • Couponmom

      New and confused
I have been watching a few YouTube videos of what some have purchased and how they saved. Some are saying they had printable coupons and I am wondering how they get more than 2 coupons to print. When I print I only get 2.
So far I have been using the online coupons and nothing from my paper..as of yet. I am still waiting to use my paper coupons.

      • SolventSister2

Some people have access to more than one computer. 2 computers = 4 coupons, etc…

      • macboy

More than one computer. I have Mac and use a program called Boot Camp to use Windows. It's like having two computers on one machine. 95% of the time, I never print a coupon more than 2 times, but when they thought I downloaded two many coupons or there was an issue, I would just switch over into Windows and print it there. This does not work with virtualization though, like Parallels and VMWare Fusion.

      • Robin

You have to have more than 1 computer if you want to print more that 2 coupons. You can print 2 coupons per computer.

      • Mlavender82

Some folks have several computers that they can print coupons from (laptop, desktop, work computer etc.), and they print 2 per computer. I just have one, so I only get 2 prints too. You are right that printable coupons are the most frequently used (at least they are for me), but newspaper coupons have some great deals too… especially P&G inserts.

      • Tammya6688

I agree with everyone else on the printables on Smart Source, and Redplum… for that you would need two computers. But if they are from Facebook then I use my hubby's account as well to print out a second (or fourth if they let you get two each) deal. Also with any that lead to some other sites that make you register by email address, then use your spouse's, kids, or parents email as well and register to get more coupons or freebies. It only works though if they don't limit you to one per household..just one per email address.

      • MarySC1000

It's not really the number of computers… it's the number of IP addresses. Some people have a work computer at home with a separate IP address, or use a computer at work. For very high value coupons I sometimes even use the library at 20 cents a page… worth it for $2 or $3!

    • Libby

one of those little pads you see in the store right next to an item

    • Tconnor

Is anyone having problems printing the barber's chicken coupon from smartsource? I can select it but it shows initializing print but never prints. It just sits & sits & sits. Any suggestions?

      • Tammya6688

I had the same problem. I don't know if it makes any difference but I just clicked on the link (the printable link) instead of Smart Source “button” to the side of the page. It worked then for me.

    • eldambro

Is there any limit to how many items in the Yellow Advantage Buy deals you can purchase?

      • Mechlingfamily

      • Jenn

Some of the stores around here limit to 8. We're in Greenville, SC.

    • If your store doubles, the Stonyfield Yogurt will be 16 cents!

    • poshpoodle

Anyone know if you can buy the Toy story movie the spaghetti o's and the rayovac, have them print two receipts and do both of hte rebates? Is that allowed? I have just started doing rebates and do not want to do anything that is not allowed or breaking the rules. Thanks!

      • Snowski824

Yes, you can do that. Just make sure they print the 2nd receipt at the register. If you go back later and try to get a duplicate it's printed on computer paper and I don't know if they would accept that for a rebate.

        • Kelly

Do the Disney movies have two UPC symbols? Because you have to send one for each rebate.

          • Snowski824

            Probably not.

            • Lisa

          • Jessicagsmith

All Disney movies have 2 UPCs.

Does anyone know if the St. Aug, FL Publix stores carry Hood milk? I don't want to waste the ink/paper on the coupons if they don't.

      • Heather

Can i ask if anyone has printed that dimatapp coupon for $2/1 on the wyeth coupon site? This coupon looks like i copied it or something. no line at the top or yellow dots. It says its a manf. coupon, and has a 5 at the start, but my cashier is going to not accept this i think. If it looks funny to me, I know it will to them. Just wondering if anyone has done that deal already, and the coupon was taken. thanks

Some suggestions for (NE Orlando) Publix stores:

      1) Check grocery competitor coupons (like Albertson's).

      2) Check out the available ads/coupons at both the front area and the service desk.

      3) Go down every aisle to see if there are any tear-off coupons and/or dispenser coupons. Take what you might need for the current (or even a future) week.

      4) Talk with the employees. They see how others are saving money and sometimes you can get a great hint from them. (That's how I was directed to Southern Savers.)

      5) Check to ensure that all your coupons are rung up correctly. (Sometimes when I have a handful of coupons, the cashier gets flustered, so I try to help them out, if possible. I also try to stick to certain cashiers who I found have an easier time managing all my coupons (savings).)

      • I hand them 2 at a time to ensure they all get scanned.

    • Diane

If I have a $1/2 coupon, can I purchase just 1 of the item and get just 50 cents off? Also, where are the kraft bbq sauce coupons? I cant find them.

      • ChrissyPunkin

If you use a $1/2 coupon, you must buy two. As a general rule, you always have to follow the wording on a coupon exactly. I'm sorry, I don't know about the bbq sauce.

      • kjmiller

If a coupon is for “x” amount off 2, you would need to buy 2 to be able to use the coupon.

    • Gabriela

Is anybbody having trouble finding the green giant 0.50/2 coupon?

where to get the green giant vegetable coupon?

    • CrazyCouponClipperChris

There was a “Buy any Mrs. Paul's Seafood item, and get any one Birds Eye Steamfresh Vegetable Free (up to $2.99)” coupon (mine have a 11/7/10 expiration date) from Smart Source that could be used on the 'Mrs. Paul’s Fish Sticks, Fillets, Clams, or Haddock, 8-11.4 oz., at $4.49 ($2.24)' deal.

      • ireneY

That's the Q that automatically rings up at $3 at the register!!

      • Jlpowell81

anyone know where to find this Q? Which week?

        • Laura

it was on smartsource .com website last month, but is no longer there.

    • Ahh1123

is anyone else having problems clicking the box next to the item I want for my shopping list??? help!!

      • Hender328

Go to the end of the list and use the Read More to include all the sale items. Then you should be able to check all of boxes.

    • Ivy

The Schick Intuition razor on sale had a coupon out a while back on Facebook for $4 off. They're on sale for $4.50, after coupon making it $0.50.

      • Hender328

Judging from the comments the coupon went away on Oct 31st on facebook.

        • But most of us already printed those and have them in binders ready to use this week!!!

    • Sophiaj980

Was anyone able to find the Kraft Dressing coupon off target, if so what zipcode did you use?

      • Philisana

I saw while I was on under 35466.

      • Wingate1228

90210 for the dressing, were you able to find the kraft bbq coupon under a different zip?

    • kjmiller

FYI, there is also a $1 off Listerine Mouthwash (1 to 1.5 liter) store coupon in the current Green advantage flyers. It expires 11/5 (so hurry). Would be great to use with any of the mfr coupons (although couldn't register this morning on listerine dot com to get their $1 q).

    • Jellodaisy2003

Where do you find the manufacturer's coupon for Craisins? Thanks in advance.

      • Cara

I found them on Ocean Spray juice bottles, I think she did the same…but the ones I found were $1 of 2 craisins.

    • Hender328

The Jenno-O So Easy Turkey Entrees had .55 off coupons on the product in my store. It made them $1.44.

    • Delleen

Target also has $1 off produce item of $1 or more. My Publix accepted it last time even though we don't have a super target in our area.

    • psa433

this website is such a blessing…thank you!

    • Moriah

Since the change I can never get the list to pull up in the pop up window. I use to copy and past it in a word doc but now I can't do that and I can print it with out problems.

    • Jena

Is anyone having a hard time finding the Target coupon for the Kraft barbeque sauce? I can't find it and I've looked several times on the their website. Is there a specific zip I should be using?

      • carrie

        I'm having the same problem.

      • Jennifer

I’m having the same problem too! :(

    • Rdnckgirl1973

at $5.49 ($2.74) What does this mean???

I have never been to a Publix but I really want too.

      • Melissa

The price in parenthesis is the price one of item in a B1G1 free sale. In some states Publix does not require you to buy both, but will give you one at half price.

      • Melissaving

The regular retail price is $5.49 but since the item is B1G1 Free and Publix rings each item up at half price the cost per item is $2.74 each.

        • Leigh757

so you don't have to get both of them…you can just buy one and get half price???? I didn't know that…I knew on the 2/$6 it was cut in half…thank you for letting me know.

          • Icecrmfrk

In FL we have to buy both. Just so you know ahead of time if you are there.

    • rafiki

where are the green giant coupons for the canned vegetables? I am not seeing them in the ss she printed?

      • Savers

it is not a printable coupon. the SS and RP coupons come out in the Sunday coupon inserts in the paper. The dates beside them is the day it came out.

    • GAmomof4

Toy Story 3 rebate question— do you have to purchase the dvd and batteries/soup in the same transaction?

      • Jessicagsmith

No. They can be on different receipts :)

    • Coupongirl19

Anyone having issues with the Hood milk site? I can click on the coupon but then when I go to print, the site freezes up. Thanks!

      • Ellen

Scroll up when you think the site freezes. There's a window where you have to accept some terms. HTH.

    • Momoftwo

How do you use a Whole Foods coupon at Publix? (celestial seasoning tea)

      • itismedia

If your store takes them then follow the instructions on the coupons (1.00 off 1? – Buy one, etc…) the cashier will key it in. You can also stack a store/competitor coupon with a manufacture one if you have one. Store/Competitor coupons don't double. HTH

    • Jhansell

i'm so mmuch loving my savings and glad alot of people or to lazy to do this i spent two hrs yerday going though ads and spent 38 and saved 60 so cool

    • Infusionyl

New at couponing but loving it! Last week went to Publix total bill was 200.00 and some odd chage and after coupons was around 135.00 can't believe this has been all going on under my nose! I will never go over my grocery budgett again!!! Thanks Jenny

    • Fish2442

New to this. Just printed some coupons but can't seem to get the Kellogg's to print. Sign up and then logged on. Made a few attempts. What am I doing wrong?

      • 3monkeysmom

I couldn't get them to print either :(

    • Andrea Cooper25

      Coupon question:

Does Publix accept Target's market fresh coupons for publix brand items? Such as: I have a $1.50 off 3 market fresh items. So if I buy 3 publix brand items can I use this coupon?

On the double coupon rule. If I have a coupon for .50 then it will double at the register and be redeemed as $1.00 off?

If that's the case, then if I have a manufactorer coupon for .40 off and a store coupon for .50 off will my total off be $1.80?

      • Coupons777

The manufacturer's coupon doubles but not the store coupon. So I believe your total off would be $1.30.

    • Ashwhite82

If anyone is after the Toy Story movie…I just got mine for $1.99 plus tax. I had the -$5 publix q but also if you register at disneymovierewards.com (free) you can get a $8q off of the movie!!!

      • Make sure the coupon is good for just the DVD version.

      • Anonymous

That coupon clearly states that it’s for the “combo pack”. Publix may not get reimbursed for the coupon you used.

    • Coupons777

Does anyone shop Publix in Greer area that takes Target coupons? My Publix Batesville Road does not. I need to find another in the area. Thanks a bunch.

    • Jennifer

There is a .50 off Crock butter on the Target site. It isn't a man coupon so I'm guessing you could stack but since it isn't listed, I'm thinking maybe not…

      • Susan

Yes, you can stack, I did today.

    • Gabriela

I can't find the green giant canned vegetable nor the emeradl trail mix q in my newspaper. They were supposed to be on the RP 10/24. Is that the right date?

      • Mjclark1977

Might be regional? I can't find them either in the AJC (Atlanta Journal) SS 10/24.

      • itismedia

Newspapers vary. Sometimes today she will post variations. If someone does your paper you can check it and see if you were suppose to have them in your ad or not. HTH

    • regina

tried to get the 2.00 listerine print out and only coming up w/ 1.00. anyone else having that problem?

    • Kmueller80

There is a Target coupon for $1 off Wisk. Pair it with the $2 manufacturer coupon makes it $1.49!!

      • Susan

I printed that it was a MQ, not a Target Q, can not stack :(

    • JL

Love Publix. Just spent $5.99 (with tax included) on 3 Benedryll Children's product, 2 Hood 1/2 gallon milks., 3 fiberone yougart 4 packs, 2 olivia spread, 2 country crock spreads, 1 argo cornstrach, 2 green giant canned veggies, 1 buterball multi pack of sandwhich meat, 3lb bag of tangerines, 1 cucumber, 2 large baking potatoes an 1 can of black olives. I used an $18.00 coupon for the benedryll I got from the recall and combined it with 3 $3.00 off qs from the green flyer. WOW I made $10.00 just taking the medicine home. Thanks Jenny I toatally forgot about that q untill I saw the post about green flyer and benedryll qs.

    • Mistylmartin

I have never printed some of these coupons and it tells me that I have!?

      • guest

Either try another computer or try going to the link/website on your own. Meaning don't click on the link provided. For instance, you're having problems with the Welch's coupon. Instead of clicking the link, go directly to welch's website and find the coupon on your own. Sometimes the coupons or links are….encoded (don't know what other word to use) and can tell when it's already been printed. Hope this helps.

      • momto2boys

Sometimes it just means that the coupon is no longer available and has reached it's print limit.

    • Amber103103

Just left publix thanks for all the great coupon match ups. I wanted to tell you that on the 60z bags of beggin strips there is a bogo peelie. Combine that with (2) 1.00 manufactors, and the 1.00 off target coupon (on any 2 Purina treats) I paid .49 for 2 bags of treats.

    • Heather

Welch's coupon Man Q for 1.00/1 in the “The Flu Is Ready, Are You?” booklet. I found this at the pharmacy counter a few weeks ago.

    • Tutibugs2

Just had to share. Just got back from Publix. Our sale ad doesn't change until tomorrow. I got a Box of Huggies Little Movers diapers reg. 19.99 and eight boxes of Yakisoba Noodles. I paid $8.20. They let me use the $5 RR I got from Walgreens from the Sinex deal as a Man. Q because it scans as a vendor Q. It also says on the front that it's a P&G offer. I used the $2 Walgreens Q from their Nov. booklet and the $2 In-ad coupon from the Publix ad. I made 3.20 off the noodles that applied to my total. I really wanted to skip out of the store.

      • Mandi

What scenerio did you use for the noodles?

        • They are on sale for .60 each. They also have .50 cent Q's. Other than Fl, these should double, giving you 40 cents overage on each one.

        • alyw

if your in FL its better to get the noodles at Walmart they are only .48 cents with the coupon makes them free!

    • Sweetness135_01

Not sure if anyone can help with this question, but i’ll ask it anyway. I’m having trouble with the coupon printing sites. I just got a new computer and when i go to the coupon sites to print them (like coupons.com) all i get are x’s on all the pictures and I can’t do anything. The coupon printer is installed because i was able to print from a product site. I’ve tried enabling different things, but it hasn’t seemed to help. This is super frustrating!!! It’s like my computer isn’t supporting those sites. Anyone have any insight???

      • With a new PC, you probably have newer software than these sites support!!

        • Sweetness135_01

          Well that stinks!!! UGH!!!

    • Tacosta31406

ok, i'm new at couponing and i just want to say thanks for putting all this info together. that said, i don't want to sound dumb or anything…but where do you get the green advantage flyer? are they in the store when you walk in or can you only find them in the paper? thanks!

      • mrsmadayar

Some stores have them in a rack when you first walk in the store along with the sales ad. But at my store you have to ask for them at the customer service desk because they had trouble with people being stingy and taking huge stacks.

        • Tacosta31406

      • Cblakefl

In the store on the circular stand – if you don't see them, ask for one from Cust. service.

    • Kellylong2007

What is the difference between the different types of flyers, green, yellow? do all stores get all of them?

      • Teresa

Usually the green flyers are medicine/personal care type stuff (vitamins, aspirin, Tylenol, Bengay, etc) and they are good for about 2 weeks or so. The yellow ones are food type items (soda, chips, cheese, tuna, etc) and are also good for about two weeks. They both also contain coupons and are usually staggered release (the green one out now expires in a week or so and the new yellow came out 10/30). To the best of knowledge all of the stores have them and are usually located just inside the store front door or in the lobby area in front of the store front door.

    • mrsmadayar

Uhg. We just bought Toy Story 3 yesterday at Best Buy for 15.99. If only we had waited a day.

    • Diane

Anyone ever have any luck today with the Kraft BBQ sauce Target coupon? have looked several times today on several differant computers using differant zip codes and I just cant find it. Help please?!?!?!

      • Freemn4

        I didn't find it either.

    • Dakota

hey fellow couponers! I am confused in finding the canned veggies coupon 50/2. is it really in the ss 10/24? If so, I am clearly losing my mind, because I DON'T SEE IT! Help…

      • Coupons vary by region. You may not have gotten it. You can check the variations list to see if it was in your paper.

      • Couponj

        I had the same issue!

    • Kristycerro

Toy Story 3 also has a coupon you can download online for $8. It expires 11/06 .

      • Carla C

That one is for the Blu Ray Combo pack :-( It's running about $24.99

      • Carla C

I'm def. going to try that tomorrow and see if my Publix will take the coupon. It's a Christmas present for my 4 year old. That would be awesome. Also hoping they have the new Tinkerbell movie.

    • Mache

Huntsville,AL stores has a <55 cents off on each box of Krusteaz Cookie Mix,

    • Theresamrbrown

Can anyone explain to me how you can double a coupon at Publix or if stacking is doubling ????

      • KT

Coupons up to 0.50 double at Publix. So 0.40 doubles to 0.80, 0.50 doubles to $1.00. Stacking is different, you can use a competitor's coupon (such as Target) PLUS a manufactuer Q, for the same item (if this applies to your store, I hear Florida is different. Hope this helps!

        • KG in SC

My Publix will no longer accept Target coupons. They told me Target is not officially a grocery store. They do not accept competitors coupons either (such as Food Lion) unless they are within so many miles from a Publix store in our area in SC. : (

      • Dfgafg

Manufacter coupons .50 and under are doubled by thier computer system…even if it says do not double. Stacking is not doubling. Publix and other store coupons are not doubled …they are entered at face value.

        • yardsale_shopper

only problem is in FL our Publix does not double. but they do accept other stores along with mf coupons, so its not too bad.

    • yardsale_shopper

Jenny – there is a $1 off Wisk Laundry Det. coupon at Target/printable coupons.

combined with the $2 off MFcoupon, this makes the Wisk $1.49 !

      • Briannaconner

I cant find a wish coupon on the Target site or on coupons.com either are they all gone?

      • OneLuckyGal

        It's not a Target store coupon though…it's a ManuQ. :( Such a bummer!

    • betsisme

If I am buying a bogo item can I use 2 manufactures coupons since I am buying 2 items?

      • Amanda

      • Sweetgirl_teddybear30

Yes thats how i do it and it works!

    • Freemn4

I spent $17.47 and saved $57.07 today at Publix. Thanks for your continued help Jenny; you are a blessing!

    • Carla C

Had to share: I was in my local Publix this afternoon (Alabaster, AL) and as I was walking down one of the aisles I noticed two elderly men stopped by the Finish stuff. They were huddled by a shopping cart and when one of the gentlemen turned around I noticed they both had a folder of coupons. I thought it was just adorable that two elderly men (I call them grandpa lol) were couponing as well and were as organized as Jenny. It was just adorable and I had to share!!!

I think if someone could arrange it, it would be an awesome idea to do a coupon class for the elderly at local senior citizen venues. If anyone needs help saving money it's definitely our grandparents!

    • Nina O

Publix recently told me that since Target is a “SuperCenter” store they can't take their competitor coupons. They told me that it had to be a grocery store. (i.e, Bi-Lo, Food Lion). Can anyone help with this? I would love to pay $1.49 for Wisk. It's a great detergent at a great price. What a steal it would be.

      • My FL Publix will only accept grocery store Q's. They said IF we ever get an actual Super Target, then they'd accept target.

      • Danielle

My Publix (E. Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN) has the same policy. They also don't take Earth Fare coupons, because its considered a specialty health store. However, our Target price matches. So you could do the deal at Target, but call your Target first to make sure they price match so it's not a wasted trip!

    • cassia2

The Dentek coupon technically shouldn't be used on this sale because it specifies that the item be $2 or more to use the $1 off coupon.

      • IT is priced at over $2 before the sale.

    • Meredith Junco

Here's one to add under petcare – 2 for $10 (originally one is almost $8) at Publix. :) Thanks so much for this site. It's just flat out amazing!

      • Marina115

You didn't list what that “one” is. Is it dog or cat food?

    • Gettobobs

Of course when I went to get Toy Story yesterday they did not have any…grocery stores usually do not carry large amounts of new release movies so this is understandable. I wonder if they would offer a raincheck on the $14.99 price and let us use the $5 off movie coupon in the Green Advantage Ad when they finally can keep themovie stocked>?? Has anyone asked?

      • sc susie

Our store does not even stock movies unless they happen to come in on a special display. No raincheck was given because they do not anticipate getting any in.

      • Snellmom

I've used an expired Advantage Ad coupon with a raincheck before. They asked the mgr to make sure but there was no problem since the raincheck was issued right before the coupon expired.

      • If you want to try, you can take the ad in and price match it at Wal-mart. They should take the store coupon as well.

      • christal

I was told that they would not even know if they would get any in. They have no control over ordering movies and that it is separate from their own ordering. Very frustrating.

    • Candyland02

I called my Publix a few days ago to ask which competitor Q they accept. The CS rep advised me that they now accept Target coupons. She said it's a new policy.

      • kaseyshadow

        What Publix's

    • Nicole

The cashier wouldn't let me use the natures own coupon because it says “breakfast item”. Any thoughts???

      • alyw

Even tho the picture shows bread on the coupon..if you look closely at the bread its a marble raisin bread so a regular loaf is the wrong product.

        • Nicole Rawley

yeah, i actually emailed natures own and asked them. they confirmed that it was not for the regular bread.

      • G8rleslie

The Publix I went to allowed the Nature's Own q. Who's to say that one doesn't eat toast for breakfast?

      • LuvLex4

Our Publix Mgr happened to be bagging my groceries and the clerk said “Coupon says it's for a bfst item can she use it”? I said well I used it on Wed. and the Mgr. looked at me and smiled and winked and said, 'I have toast for bst, don't you have toast for bfst? Sometimes that's all I have time for.” :-)

    • Melanieplynch

Is anyone else having trouble finding Nexcare bandages in their Publix? I'm in Jupiter, FL, and I've been to two stores so far and they didn't have them. Shouldn't they be right by all the other bandages and bandaids? Starting to wonder if I'm looking in the wrong place or something…

      • Mjclark1977

I couldn't find any in mine either near Atlanta, GA. Forgot to ask the service desk when I checked out. My issue today was that they would only give 1 Harvest of Savings coupon booklet because people wipe them out as soon as they display them :(

      • scmom

I am in Summerville SC and have checked for months and only the waterproof bandages are on the shelf. We use the fabric ones as a thumb-sucking deterrent so we go thru a ton! Doesn't seem to be a inventory tag for it in my store but I keep checking because there are always good q's out there for this brand. I could get them at W_M but it's always SUCH a hassle to use my internet Q's there. Good Luck!

    • I thought last week was a good week, but this week was without a doubt one of my best Publix trips ever! I spent $37 and saved $144 (80%) & used 68 coupons, a new personal record. It was crazy, but fun! Click my name to see detailed shopping info & to link up your weekly savings.

    • carrie

Anyone else having trouble printing smartsource coupons?

      • Donna

Yes, and I have never had a problem printing them before.

        • carrie

Thanks for responding. At least I'm not the only one. But what in the world is going on with Smartsource? If anyone has a solution, please let us know. Thanks.

          • Sometimes I have to print the smart source q's in internet explorer, instead of firefox, which is what i usually use.

      • Suzanne

Yes! It tells me to install some java something or other, but then it doesn't work.

      • ToddDu

Close all Internet browsers (probably IE). Open and then go to options and delete all temporary internet files. Close IE again and then reopen. Go to print and should work.

If that doesn't work, get your task manager open and end any process with java.exe

        • carrie

sorry to be ignorant, but everything you wrote went right over my head. Where do I find these things on my computer and how exactly do I do them? Thanks.

    • Venetiamain

I obviously didn't do my homework very well yesterday, because I bought the Toy Story 3 dvd for $19.99 from Publix and I see that today it is on sale for $14.99. Do I take it back and get my $5 off?

      • Jane

      • Tasha

You're lucky you bought it though; mine was sold out today. They had only 2 Blu-Ray copies left at $34.99 each. Yikes! LOL Would have been nice to get a copy as a Christmas gift for daughter's best friend, as we got ours super-cheap from CVS this week, but oh well. They said they'd sold out the first day, even at full price, and they normally don't get another shipment of movies….

        • Snowski824

          Rain Check!

        • Jessica

The blu-ray also had a dvd copy and digial copy included in it….combine the $8 off the blu-ray/dvd combo and the $5 publix q, i saw this as a great christmas present! $22 is not bad for all that!

      • Couponj

I know at Target you can bring a coupon back within a few days of your purchase and they will honor it and give you the cash back. Never tried it at Publix but they are so friendly they probably would either take it or do a return/rebuy with the coupon.

      • ToddDu

To add to Jessica's deal, buy Blu-ray combo at Toys R Us at 34.99 less 8 coupon and get TS3 wall clock (14.99). Will buy some condensed soup to donate and get $5 rebate. A little more $ but wall clock is good to donate for needy Xmas family or for kids playroom

    • Jhe'nara

I spent $16 today at Publix (Cola, SC) and got $52 of groceries! I heart you, Jenny!

    • Rebekah1g

How does a B2G1 deal work? For example, the water is B2G1. So if we bought 3 it would average out to be out $3.00 per pack. Does that mean we can just buy one and spend $3.00?

      • Mamaberry

In most states the BOGO's ring 1/2 price. In FL, you will have to buy all three… Not sure about other states with the B2G1, but if you're here in FL – get all three to make it worth it. hth

      • ToddDu

Buy 2 get 1 has always been that in N Atlanta, you have to buy 3 to get the deal, otherwise overpaying

    • Tasha

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all you do for us. I've talked to others in stores recently and given them this website, as it's my go-to, first-stop when I log on the computer each day. I live an hour from our nearest Publix, Rite Aid, Kroger, and Target. I use your lists, and make a trip once each week, sometimes skipping a week if nothing appeals to me enough. I did my trip this morning, spent less than $100 at both Publix and Rite Aid combined, filled the whole cargo compartment of my van with groceries, and had to put my 3 cases of water in the passenger area! I was able to save enough today that even on our meager budget, I was able to do the $10+ donation at target to help feed others who are not as blessed as we are. Thanks again for helping to make this possible!

      • ToddDu

Awesome Tasha, I love to hear that you are passing along a portion of your savings and all of your blessings!

    • Uniquelyr

Facebook has a $1./1 Tombstone Pizza coupon if you “like” them, prints 2x

Target has a 50 cents coupon for Hillshire Meats that are 2/$7. you can stack with manufacturers coupon

      • Susanna

I “liked” tombstone pizza and got no coupons, where are they, hidden on the site somewhere?

    • Couponj

Anyone have extra Publix “Flu is Ready are you” books that they'd like to pass along or trade?

    • Jennifer

Has anyone had any luck finding the Hillshire Farm Deli Selects lunch meat printable manu. coupon on RedPlum?? I found the Target coupon, but not the manu. one on RedPlum? Any zip code suggestions? Thanks!

      • Jennifer

Also, has anyone been able to find the Toaster Strudels coupon or the Glad trash bags coupon on Target's website? If so, what zip did you use? Thanks!

        • Owensdeals

I found the Toaster Strudel in the Pink together section. I missed them the first time I look also.

          • Jennifer

I'm not sure what you mean by “Pink together section.” Is this on the Target website? That's the one I was looking for. I don't have the newspaper coupons if that's what you were referring to. Thanks!

        • april

Glad trash bags – I used zip 34655

          • Jennifer

Thanks! I was looking under groceries and not household. Silly me!

    • Tutibugs2

Anyone in Atlanta area find the toaster strudel coupons in their SS inserts for 9/12 or 10/3. I usually never have a problem finding coupons but I looked in both and didn't see it.

      • Snellmom

Haven't looked, but sometimes I will look under couponmom dot com under her coupon database. She's based here in Atlanta, so all of her Georgia coupons are what comes in the AJC. That is about the only thing I like about that site. LOVE SOUTHERN SAVERS!

    • Staceymerriweather

print $1 wisk coupon at target.com makes it $1.49 instead!

      • Tedwards

Did this work for u? Mine both say man coupon….

    • macboy

Edy's Ice Cream is BOGO in Orlando, and that goes in handy with the printable $1 off TARGET coupons.

    • dwschroe

How can i get the conagra home mailer?

    • Beverly

Thank you, Jenny! For 22 items, I just spent $13.24 and with coupons and Kroger Plus saved $35.68 (73 pct)

      • Beverly

Well, that should go under the Kroger, sorry. At Publix, I spent $20.58 and saved $48.51. Again, thank you Jenny.

    • lynn

the jenny o item has a 55cents off one on the packages at our publix. We had the meatloaf tonight, put it in the oven though. Was pretty good. Thanks Jenny spent 138 and saved 129.00

    • Syrivera9

This was my best ever shopping trip! I spent 32.43 on $150 worth of grocery. I saved 124.98. I used 52 coupons which is an all time high for me. I live in FL so nothing doubles and I have to buy both items to get the B1G1 deal so for me, this is absolutely amazing. Thanks Jenny and the rest of the southernsavers team!!!

    • Staceymerriweather

print the whole foods .75 coupon for the yogurt cup and make .25 on each one!!

    • Angela

I am so confused…this is my first time on Southern Savers and I don't understand how to print the coupons?? Can you only print the ones that say printable next to them or how does it work. I only see a button to click on a printable shopping list! I need help please!! Thanks!

      • carrie

The ones that say “printable” and are underlined are the ones to click on to print them. The link will take you to another website where you will actually find the coupon. You then select the coupon from this other website and print from there. You may have to download a program to actually print the coupons. If so, the computer will prompt you to do this.

      • Staceymerriweather

u can print the coupons that say printable next to them in blue

      • ToddDu

Example below (read the guides for better detail)

For this the first coupon is Whole Foods printable with link that only works if store accepts competitor's coupons. Second coupon is Smart Source newspaper insert from October 3rd, could be Sunday paper or local flyer that sends it into your driveway 10/6.

-$1 off Celestial Seasonings Tea, (Whole Foods Market coupon) printable

-$1 off Celestial Seasonings Tea, SS 10/3

    • Jessie

So what about the manufacturer coupons? How do i get them to make the item free? Sorry this is my first time on here and I am so excited to start saving money like you “pros” : )

      • Manufacturer's coupons come from newspapers, magazines, websites, etc. Publixes not in Florida double coupons up to 50¢, which makes items $1 or less free. HTH.

        • Linda3

All Publix that I've been to do not double .50 or less. That is in Tallahassee FL, Thomasville GA, and Albany GA. I can't figure out where they double.

          • Publix stores in SC double 50¢ or less. From what I've seen here, I thought that TN & GA stores did also. I know that FL stores do not.

      • Read all of her Getting Started Guides, watch the Tutorial Videos, etc.. it has a lot of newbie info for you.

    • Amy

Where do you get the Conagra mailer?

      • sharon60

I asked that some time ago, you need to fill out the rebate form. Still haven't done it and don't know if it's too late or not.

      • They are rebate offers. Conagra does them at least 4 times year or more….

    • Amanda Smith

Does the Barilla coupon for $1 off apply to this week's sale?

      • germangirl

No, it doesn't . The coupon is for the tortellini which are not included in the sale neither is the Barilla Plus.

      • No. The Plus is excluded from the sale. The coupons shouldn't be listed.

    • sharon60

Can I stack the Target 1.50 off BOTH 6 pk or larger COTTONELLE bath tissue AND 42ct or larger flushable wipes WITH one 50/1 bath tissue and a FREE wipes coupon?

      • germangirl

Yes, you can. I did that yesterday only I didn't have the free wipes coupon. Where did you get that? I did use a $1 off Rite Aid coupon though.

        • sharon60

Thanks. The letter that came with the coupon says

“thanks for visiting GetFreshWithaFriend ” dot com. I think it was a promo

where you gave one to a friend and in the end (to my surprise) I got one too.

Coupon came from manufacturer via mail.

        • sharon60

Do you remember how much the wipes were before Q?

        • sharon60

I just got a follow up email from Cottonelle and they STILL have the promo to get a FREE wipes so go ahead to the website and submit if you haven't already.

      • not sure if it will work..the free wipes is for a container, and i think the target coupon is for a larger pack..let me know if it works for you tho!

        • sharon60

I didn't get to Publix until today, but the Target coupon worked because it was

for 42 ct or larger and the container was 42 ct. So I paid $2.50 for the

Cottonelle plus got my free wipes to boot. Win-win YEA!

    • wendy

Went to Publix in Hixson, TN last night and for the first time (that i've ever noticed) they had a sign in front of the Gape Juice “Limit 2 deals per person”. That was the only sign I saw was for the juice. They had the signs at the display and on regular shelf. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you were planning on stocking up on juice.

Also they had the 6 packs of 12ounce bottles of coke products for $3.99 buy two get one free and then on the package was a $1.00 off coupon. So i ended up getting them for $1.66 each.

      • Snellmom

That would be 4 bottles of juice since the deal is buy one get one free, so you have to get 2 to get the deal. FYI. I've seen this in fine print many times and never had an issue with it.

    • Rlzysk

Can you use both rebates for the DVD? I'm guessing no, but wanted to know if anyone else has tried yet. Also, there are coupons for the rebate products that I found in the coupon database:

$1 off Rayovac batteries coupon in 10/31 SS
$1 off Rayovac batteries coupon in 10/10 SS
      $1/3 Campbell's soups printable

      • ToddDu

I think the Campbell's printable specifies not for condensed so you can't use for rebate. I couldn't find the store mag there. I have read that Rayovac only needs receipt copy and not original so up to you if you try to get $1/3 for condensed

    • Cinderelligirl

has anyone gotten an email from the pitted olives? I'm in real need of some thanks!

    • Christal

I noticed there were some other comments about the Toy Story 3 movie. I was very upset to go in yesterday (first day for the flyer) and found out that they did not have the movie. The manager told me that they sold out the day before with people using the $5 coupon off the original $19.99. She told me that the store only received 12 movies plus 2 blu-ray combos. She even called two other stores for me, with no luck. So, they didn't have any movies for this weeks sale flyer. I was just a little frustrated. So, I asked if they would substitute the blu-ray combo for the sale price of $9.99. And they did. I just don't understand why they would not stock up for a sale. But, they did make me very happy.

    • Hasfam

Anyone elses SS 9/26 maxwell coupon say only internatonal cafe, and nothing about reg coffee or yuban? This is on the Kraft page in the insert.

      • LoriKim

Mine says: “Save $1.00 on any ONE (1) package of MAXWELL HOUSE International Cafe, MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee or Yuban Coffee”. It also shows a picture of the International Cafe box and also the regular blue Maxwell House can of coffee. It was in the Kraft insert just like yours.

    • Coupons4kids

I cannot find the following – Phazyme Green Advantage buy (store coupon)

was this a older advantage buy?

      • Amy B.

        It ends today :)

      • It was/is on the back page. $5/2 and it included quite a few OTC meds from that company: Oscal, Phazyme, Vivarin, Sominex, etc….

    • Natalie

The Jenny O So Easy Turkey Products that are on sale for B1G1 Free also have a $0.55 coupon on the package, saving you a little more

    • cortney

Don't know if anybody has already said this, but there is a Shedd's coupon on Target that you can combine with manufaturers, and you should make 40c on one thing of it! :)

      • Sheri

Yeah I noticed it, too. Going to get me some butter. I'm sure there is a post down there somewhere but I don't have time to read them all.

    • Deb

I have 3 Smart Balance coupons if anyone wants them. They are good until December. $2.00 off 2. Send me your email address if you are interested.

      • sharon60

Looks like nobody replied. Sharon Jordan, 1554 Maple Grove Church Rd, Resaca, GA 30735. Is there anything I can send you in return? Thanks!

    • Bnirrelevant

How do you get a publix calendar?

      • Rebecca

I inquired to corporate about it quite a while ago, and they told me that they're not doing one for next year.

    • Laura Price

Fyi the plus pasta is not included in the BIGI so you will need another coupon to make it free. That one will not work

    • Nanasap

Does anyone know if Publix will honor the Green Advantage coupons that expired today tomorrow?

      • That is totally up to each store. Some do and some don't.

      • My Publix wouldn't.

      • We went the other day, the last day for that particular green advantage deals, and were going to use the last of our Phazyme, Sominex, Vivarin coupons as they were money makers. Well, not surprisingly they were out of all 3. My husband went to the CS desk and asked if they could find out if there was any in the back. They got to talking about it and the woman said that she would just sign his coupons so he could use them when the items were back in stock. Haven't been back to use them yet, but I'm doubting it will be a problem. Granted, this was at my store and may not apply to yours, plus it was because they were out of stock on the items we wanted. Just fyi.

    • Shell

Went last night for end of Green Deals and regular shopping. Went with a friend and split the 'booty.' Retail: $239 Paid: $51 Saved: $188 !!!! Very good trip.

    • Went shopping last evening and spent $23, saved $148, for an 86% savings!! AND THAT IS IN FLORIDA!!!
It included pork chops, Barbours chicken, bananas, potatoes, salad, milk, organic milk, bread…..

    • Zjqtcj

For the Toy Story 5 and two $5 mail-in-rebate deals, do you have to purchase them at the same time or can you purchase DVD only and wait for deals for the batteries and soups?

    • Ambookie1

I Live in Ga, printed all the coupons showing above. Went to Publix and was told the ad expired last week Wed 11/03. Online Publix ad is showing a different ad too.

I am confused how all this works, can someone please explain?

      • millie

what day did you go shopping? are you sure it was not your list from last week? i am not criticizing just trying to understand how things got so out of sorts for you. in some areas that ads are off by a day, my ad starts on wednesday but some areas start on thursdays. also sometimes (not a lot) jennys ad will show an item on sale and it will not be where i live, so i sometimes will get my list and coupons together from southern savers and then just pop over to the publix website and put in my information to pull the ad from my area just to double check so i do not get there and find that what i am looking for is not on sale. hope this helps some!

        • supersavings

Publix A starts Thursday in Florida, Wednesday inGa. and SC. Not sure but I think Ambookie1 maybe you clicked on the wrong Ad week here, There are old ads listed here

          • Marina115

Atlanta, GA starts on Thursdays :)

          • Gjwsla23

            Tallahassee, Fl. starts on Wed.

            • Syrupmaker95

Which store are you shopping at? I live up in thomasville ga and they don't double coupons. So they do in Tallahassee….

            • RF

Gainesville, Florida Publix Ads begin on Thursday

          • momof3inATL

@supersavings and @marina.. yes, Publix intown ATL starts on Thursdays.

        • Penny

Yes, I agree with millie. I do the exact thing after being burned by assuming what is on Jenny's list is not on sale at my Publix. I do the same thing by going on Publix's website and seeing what is on sale in my area and adjust accordingly. Good Luck!

      • gardengirl

How frustrating! The publix stores in GA stagger their sale dates….some counties have the sale Wed thru Tues and other counties have the sale Thurs thru Wed. You might want to go to the publix website and find which day your publix starts thier ad.

You are not alone!!! I did the same thing when I started couponing, I pulled the list and q's on Tuesday and went to the store on Friday. I was so embarrassed. LOL That is when I learned that they ( and Winn-Dixie) start their sales on Wednesday in my area of GA. With all the ads in the Sunday paper, I just assumed that all stores ran their sales Sun thru Sat.

If you have another major grocery store chain in your area, you will probably be able to use the q's you just printed on sale items at one of them in the next few weeks.

    • flmom2

This was probably my best Publix shopping week since I started couponing about a month ago. My husband went with me and kept telling me I didn't have enough money to buy everything in my cart. I showed him….the total was $34.64. I saved over $40.00. Thanks Jenny!!!!

I had to get a rain check for the tape and the manager saw my print out and asked to see what I bought….she will soon be a Southernsaver girl!

    • Chergrf2

How do u print the coupons all at one time

      • Marina115

you can print your shopping list at one time but you can't print the coupons because they come from different websites. If the printable coupon is still available (sometimes they run out), you'll have to print each one individually.

    • my lady

target has changed their deli and bakery coupon to read for Archer farms or Market pantry does this affect it's use at publix or other stores that take competitor coupons

      • Megortiz63

Since those are their store brand names, I haven't had any problem using them for store brand at Publix.

    • millie

does anyone print just black and white coupons? do they work for you without any problems? i ran out of color ink and cannot replace it right now so i have printing in black and white…..any advice would be appreciated.

      • Chergrf2

My sister does hers in black and white and has no problems,Do u know how to print them all at once

        • millie

          no that sounds interesting;)

      • Fishbabe3000

I print black and white all of the time and have never had a problem using them,

      • Nicolec513

They work fine, a coupon I just printed actually said, “coupon may print in color or black and white” Ive only used black and white myself.

    • Sheri

The County Crock Spread butter, there is also a coupon on the Target website for .50 off making it free plus overage.

    • Barbara

I cannot find the Green giant canned veggies coupon in SS 10/24. Anyone else have that issue?

      • Msboxer25

        I don't have it either…….sigh

      • Aevalentine

    • Diane

Dollar General has a coupon for the Welch's juice. Its a store coupon that I stacked with a man coupon and the B1G1 deal. I got four bottles of juice for about 12 cents a piece. There is a dollar general in my area and my publix apparently considers them a competitor…I have used DG store coupons in there several times with no problems.. Just FYI.

    • LisaB

I have been trying to coupon for the past two months or so and I'm so lost. I never seem to get big savings. I feel like giving up, but I heard it takes time. Are there any tips or strategies that someone can give me?

      • supersavings

Watch the ads on here, Publix is the best, get the coupons and save them from Smart Source and Red plum,I just started, But am loving it, bill was $33. After coupons $12.91, and I am a beginner

        • LisaB

Let me know if I am wrong, but I feel like in order to get the best deals, you have to change what you buy to some degree. My husband and I tend to buy healthier items, and normally they aren't the items on sale. Do you find that you're buying items you wouldn't normally buy because of the deals?

          • Marina115

I think a lot of people get 60-80% savings because they buy a lot of (in my opinion) junk food. Every week there's so much boxed stuff that I would never eat because I want to eat healthy. That's why some weeks I barely buy any of the sale items and other weeks I'm getting a cart full of food because I need to buy enough to last until the next sale. But don't give up, when you see the item you want on sale, just stock up. It will seem like you're over buying at first but you'll begin to see real savings once you've got a stock pile of healthy foods that you bought at rock bottom prices. HTH

          • Megan

Yes, when I first started couponing I bought the food items that were the 'best deals.' I realized over time that I would rather save 50% and get healthier items as opposed to saving 80% and get processed items. In the end I think it all depends on your circumstance.

      • crdesiato coupons

A lot of the deals come from doubling coupons. If you live in Florida, like I do, you can't double. Also, major savings come from stocking up; if you are doing regular shopping, you can still get good savings but not like some other people. Don't give up! It takes some time, but it really can be surprising sometimes at the register how much you have saved :)

        • Gjwsla23

I think it's the area you are in. Tallahasse Publix will allow the doubling of coupons.

        • Melanieplynch

Yes, I agree! I have been doing this since early September, and I'm just starting reap the benefits of my stockpiling. I'm in Florida like crdesiato, and I agree our savings just aren't as stellar. I'm probably never going to pay $1.00 for $100 worth of groceries like some people report, but I am still consistently saving around 60% at least.

Don't give up! I felt like you not too long ago, and then I had a really awesome trip to Publix where I saved way more than I ever had before and it renewed my resolve. I just know that'll happen for you too very soon, and you'll realize that you CAN do this!

      • ACT4

Do not get discouraged because of people coming on here saying they bought $100 for $1…. because if you are buying fresh fruit or meat or milk, you aren't going to see those savings. I have bought huge amounts of groceries for hardly anything but they are all the sale items that I have multiple coupons for and usually are not healthy options and I can't buy anything that I normally use and pay $1. You can't get meat, milk, and fresh fruits and vegetables and not pay something, the deals on those are just not as good. I am not saying that it can't be done but it isn't going to happen very often. It also depends what competitor coupons you can use. When my publix took Rite Aid and I could use the $5 off $25 I could usually get some meat or fruit and be able to check out paying almost nothing, but they stopped taking any $off order coupons from competitors this summer and won't take any Rite Aid. So just hang in there and you will see the savings are well worth the time.

        • ACT4

also if people are using Register Rewards from Walgreens if their Publix takes them then they technically “paid” for part or all of the RR at some point.

    • Guest

just got back from publix and i spent……..$30!! and i saved over $150!! i was so happy, i have been trying to do this forever!

    • Lora

Walgreens ad has a coupon for $3 off childrens benedryl. Combined with Publix green flyer $2 off coupon makes it 49 cents.

      • Amanda

Can you combine two store coupons??

      • I was recently told that you can't use a competitor coupon along with a store coupon. You can stack manufacturer's coupons with store coupons *or* manufacturer's coupons with competitor coupons, but that's it. I searched around online and found where someone stated that this is a part of their coupon policy.

    • Songerhomes

I can't find the Glad coupon on Target. Anyone know if there's a certain zip code to put in ?

      • sharon60

Try Target Racing or Household. I don't think it was under groceries

    • Kasey

Celestial Seasonings $1.00 off also in 11/07 SS!

    • mari

thanks so much! Loved the class at CPM in Bwk last week. Even this old couponer learned some new tricks…so all you out there who think you 'know' it all..I have been couponing for years, and I learned ALOT~ Well worth the class price. I would highly recommend this class to anyone AND everyone~

      • Roehrigk

Well, I would love to know what you learned.I have been couponing since early Sept and usually only pay 75 cents-5.00. Not bad for a newbie. I got help with what to do from a friend. I can't even imagine doing any better than I am doing!

    • tori729

The first Welch's link is dead and the second clearly states it's for the Healthy Start kind. But I printed it anyway without thinking!

    • kristin

      I had a great week…I saved 82.09 and paid .84 !

      • Melanieplynch

WOW! Amazing. I can only seem to get to about 60% savings, but that's because I'm also buying diapers, produce and meat I guess.

        • Dianne

You should start buying diapers at CVS or RiteAid. You can get them cheaper there, believe it or not!

      • Amanda

        How do you do that?

    • Jackie

Hello..I am going to buy Toy Story 3 and when I read the mail in rebate form online, I noticed that it said that you could only send in the official form not a photocopy.. Does anyone know where the official form can be found ? I am planning on using the form that requires the purchase of spaghettios or Campbell soups. Thank you for your help.

Publix SC has an in-store coupon for $2.00 off Marie Callender's Steamers or Pot pies. This alone makes each purchase .50 cents. Or used with any appropriate coupon…it could be a money back transaction.

      • FreedomSpradley1

Is this coupon in a flyer or ad? How did you know about it?

      • Megortiz63

If you are thinking of the coupon in the Yellow Advantage Flyer, it is for the Marie Callendar Bakes, which I believe were $5.99 at my store….

I went to the Publix in Lexington, SC and was so disappointed to find out that they said they are no longer accepting Target prinatables due to fraud. Does anyone else have this problem? It was not posted anywhere and is not on the website. I ended up putting back the majority of the purchases I was making bc I was not going to buy them otherwise. Any suggestions? This is also a new policy apparently.

Does anyone in the Pooler area know what time the new Publix on Pooler Parkway is going to open on Saturday, November 13?

    • Penny

Ok, fellow couponers. I have a “concern” regarding Publix. I LOVE them as they treat their customers as A #1! But lately I experienced something I'm concerned about. The past few weeks I've had to go to customer service for a raincheck and though it is a bothersome it is necessary. However, my Publix has a “corporate” policy now where they have to call the stock person to see if they have the product in the back before they issue you the raincheck. On Sunday, I had several items they did not have stocked and I had to wait for probably only 10 mins but when in a hurry it seemed like an eternity! They did have one of the items in stock and they brought it up to the customer service desk. However, it was the wrong flavor and I felt bad because I didn't tell the customer service associate which flavor and the stock person had to go back and get the one I wanted. It was very frustrating for him and for me because this took time. I spoke with the manager and he was very nice and explained why they have been told to do this. It was because some people are getting rainchecks for the sale items to get on sale for following weeks. I am wondering if any of you have had the same experience at your Publix? This one is in Dallas, Georgia (New Georgia shopping center).

      • FreedomSpradley1

This happened to me just yesterday. The managers were very nice but I ended up waiting about 10 minutes for 2 jars of Dukes mayo. I was glad to get it but I shop there each week so it's much easier to get a quick raincheck and pick it up on my next shopping trip. I'm contemplating emailing corporate about the new policy.

        • Penny

Well, I did. I hated to because I really like Publix. However, I wanted them aware of how the customer responds to their raincheck policy. I also email them when I'm very satisfied with their service or an employee. I also like that you don't have to use a shopper's card to get deals. The managers and associates are very nice at my Pulix.

      • Musicmom816

That has been happening here in SC. You have to be very specific about what flavor you want and wait and see if they have it in the back somewhere. Not convenient if you've already checked out…

Just back from my trip. I feel like I didn't do well because I spent $83. But $15 of that was lunch meat for my DH and I bought 4 gallons of milk so I could use 4/$1 Qs for the graham crackers. (six kids in the house so the milk is a need anyway)

The cashier was a butt. She wouldn't let me use the natures made coupons because it was for a breakfast item and not regular bread. I eat bread for breakfast. Anyone else have that problem?

Also had a issue with my rain check from last weeks pasta. I guess she got tired of entering it after 4 boxes and charged full price for the last 3. So I had to bring all the kids back into the store to get it fixed.

She wasn't going to let me use the $1 off Nabisco Cookie with the purchase of 1 gallon of milk because she said Graham Crackers weren't cookies. But I was also using a Target Q that said $1 off 2 Nabisco Cookies and it had a picture of the Graham Crackers on it. So I asked her to please ask the manager, she did and it was fine. Yay!

My last problem(this is my 5 week doing this and my first time encountering problems) was that I was getting a nyquil/dayquil travel size(publix price of 1.39) using a coupon that was $1.50 off 1. She changed the price of the Q to the price of the product. I thought publix allowed overage? I even checked with the customer service gal when I was getting my rain check fixed and she said no overage.

So does Publix allow overage or not? All my BOGO pasta had overage and those Q came off the right way.

      • Roehrigk

YES, Publix allows overage,I would call corporate and complain! I just went and my bill was 89.00 and after q's, I paid 2.62.! I can use my coupons and they take Target, Walgreens, CVS, and even Costco q's!

        • Amanda

I tried to find the Publix corporate coupon policy on their website, but couldn't. Can someone send me in the right direction?

          • Roehrigk

I would try asking Publix customer service desk for number.

      • My Publix has always allowed overage. That's why I loved the Phazyme, Sominex, Vivarin money maker. Between my 3 home computers and my husband's computer at work, that paid for a good bit of my groceries for a bit. As for the Nature's Own coupon, the 1st time the cashier didn't even bat an eye (I had lots of groceries and several coupons though). Last night I only had a few things and only a couple of coupons, one for free Barilla Plus pasta and the Nature's Own coupon. The cashier looked at the coupon, looked over at my bread, thought for a second, and she must have decided to let me use it because she scanned it without saying anything. All of my stores around here seem to be really good about accepting coupons though – especially compared to a lot of stories I've heard on here.

OK, I am sooo ridiculously tired of the AJC's inserts not including the items that I want. I only wanted two things this week, Sabra hummus, and College Inn broth (both supposed to be in the 9/19 inserts). NEITHER item was included! The inserts are gigantic, but full of a bunch of garbage. This is about the 100th time this has happened to me. I can't be posting to trade coupons and expect them to be here by the time the ad is over. AJC – you're about to lose my business, coupons are the ONLY reason I buy your rag.
