I've only seen the q for the Feb copy. Where did you get one for the March issue?

      • Gabi

I got mine in the mail on Saturday.

      • Christy

I got my March All You last week.

      • concerned mom

usually on the shelf around the 20th

    • Jill

really bummed with this weeks, don't think it's worth a trip out there

      • rebecca

        I agree :(

        • jessheartscoupons

WOW. I'm surprised. I did great at Publix this week, esp with the Viva Italia deal. I bought 8 cans of progresso soup, 2 progresso bread crumbs, 2 progresso broths, 4 cans muir glen tomatoes, 4 cans green giant veggies, and 1 bag of World's Best Cat litter for $4.24 after tax. I also have a MIR for the Cat litter ($6.29 value) so I pretty much got everything for free. It's a great week at Publix in my opinion!

    • jessica

will the $5.00 off be in a booklet up front or will i have to ask for it?? thank you for all you do!

    • Anonymous

Here’s a printable for superpretzel. Use zip 90201.Redplum.com

      • carrieblee

Just what i was looking for. Thanks!!

      • kelly1369

Thank you! I was looking for the right zip code!

    • designedintime

I LUV rappini.. I've always known it as braccoli raab. I did a quick search for you for a description – Rappini : What is broccoli raab? More closely related to turnips than broccoli, broccoli raab has long, thin, leafy stalks topped with small florets.

    • Heather

Woohoo! I am excited about this week. Thanks so much for all you do, Jenny!

The $5 off 20 items… can this only be used once? I am assuming yes, but worth asking!

    • Elizabeth M

We go through pasta sauce like water. This is a good week for us. Thank you!!!

    • Amy B.

Does anyone know a zip for the Simply Asia coupon?

      • Mom2teenagers

I believe that one is gone. I tried several different zips that I saw listed on other sites and couldn't find it. Good luck!

        • Barb

I got mine by just going directly to their web site. Had no problem there!!

          • Natalie559

where on their site did you find it?

      • Jen

        I found one at http://realasianmadesimple.com/
***it does print at the bottom of the page, so don’t use any short sheets for this one!

      • Jen

http://realasianmadesimple.com/ has a simply asia coupon on the bottom left.
It prints at the bottom, so don’t use any short sheets to print this out!

    • VanessaCook

Jenny- thanks for having the ad up so early. I love to be able to plan my trips the night before since I have a two year old who no longer takes naps.

    • Krista_A

Does anyone have the complete list of participating items for the $5 off wyb 20 items?

Also, I received a coupon in the mail last week for $5 off a $30 purchase! This may go well with the other $5 off!!! Thanks for everything Jenny :)

      • beckyr

Are you signed up for some kind of Publix program to get the $5/30 Q? I haven't seen those in ages and was wondering when they would come out again. Please advise. Thanks!

        • concerned mom

I asked about the Viva Italia booklet in the store (colonial shops of Madison) today and the CS did not even know what it looked like. AFTER I had complained to the PUblix through email about the coupons and not having the booklet I got one in the mail, BUT BUT BUT it ONLY has a $5/$30 purchase coupon in it. and tells the sale prices for all the other things.

          • Barb

I got the same thing in my mail! I'm excited about it. I'll use that, plus the CVS $5 off, and the in store coupons.

          • awallen

I'm in Central FL and received the booklet in the mail. Only gave prices on everything. No $5 off coupon. What's up with that?

            • Alisha

Check the back page of your booklet….My boyfriend thought the same thing when he received the booklet…pretty much ran me down that there wasn't a coupon inside the booklet. His booklet had a 5 off $30 purchase….This can be used at a grocery store that accepts competitors coupons…HTH

        • Adrienne

A few months ago I signed up for the “Grape” magazine on the Publix website, and I started getting mailers after that.

      • Gabi

Progresso: Soup, 100% natural broth, beans & artichokes, bread crumbs, vinegar & seafood sauce. Pillsbury: Crescent rolls & breads. Totino's party pizza. Muir Glen: soup, tomatoes, pasta sauce. Green Giant: Mushrooms & asparagus, frozen veggies, canned veggies.

        • kmoon

          all canned veggies?

          • No. Canned, frozen, mushrooms, asparagus…

    • caroline

      Looks like a great week!

Jenny, at my restaurant, my chef calls rapinni “what you get when brocolli and asparagus had a baby” :) I think it looks and tastes like long stemmed brocolli. It's delicious!

    • justoleme

May want to recheck the math on the rubbermaid containers. Probably should be $1.24 after Q.

      • Selena

I can't find the rubbermaid coupons. Any tips?

    • I laughed at your “Rappini” confession. I have no idea what it is either! Thanks, Jenny!

    • Angie

I was looking for the B1G1 coupon for Peter Pan in my Jan All You but I can't seem to locate it. Does any one know what

      • Angie

I forgot to finish my comment. Does any one know what page it is on?

      • Mom2teenagers

That coupon was in a ConAgra insert that was in All You (store edition). If you have a subscription, it was not included in the mailed copy.

        • Angie

That is not fair. Thanks for letting me know.

        • dpcat

I would like to know why it was not included in a subscription…that makes me very cranky!!!

      • Sue

It was not in the subscribers' issue. The store-bought one sometimes has additional coupons.

      • GAmeg

This was in an insert that was included in the store bought copies, but not the subscription ones, along with several other B2/G1 Con Agra coupons.

    • Melissa

thank you for all that you do. you have saved my family sooo much money over the years. Thank you! ps. I have twins too! Boys-they will be one in March!

    • Sue

If your Publix considers Dollar General a competitor, they have a coupon for $1 off 2 Rice Krispies Treats.

      • BV

Where did you find this Q?

        • Donna

You can get the coupons when you first walk into DG where their flyers are.

    • Lkillough

I can't get the store coupon for the $1/3 for pillsbury rolls. Any suggestions

    • Kristine

is it ok to use both the viva Qs AND the $5 off $20 when they are both store coupons? Just checking ;), thanks for all you do!

      • No, you can not use in the same transaction the viva Qs, and the $5 off $20. They are Publix coupons for the same items.
I just talked with a manager here in Greenville, SC, and was told that you either use manufacturer coupons and $5 off $20, or you use manufacturer coupons and viva Qs.

        • Kristine

Thank you for clarifying that :)…enjoy your shopping!

        • BlessedinSC

I asked prior to shopping about using both store q's at the Easley, SC and the asst. manager said, after reading them that I could buy the 20 items and could use one of the Porgresso store q's and the $5/20 and of course all of my manufacturer q's. Its best to ask ahead of time at the individual store since the interpretation seems to vary.

          • I am glad for you, that you could do it. I asked at my store, in Taylors, SC, and I was told that I couldn't do it, because that would be using 2 Publix coupons for the same item. I'll try again next time I go, I'll drop by Customer Service and ask to speak to the manager, and see if I am lucky.
Even if they say no, that is a great store, so it will still be OK.
            Thanks for the tip.

      • jessheartscoupons

My Publix in Chattanooga, TN had no problem taking all of the coupons together. The brochure says “$9 in savings inside” right on the cover.

    • How do you get the $5 off coupon?

    • Mom2JT

Can I use a $4.00 register tape coupon I got from Kroger at publix? I would also know where ot find the $5.00 Viva Italia coupon?

      • Andrea

I never had a problem using those at Publix. I would certainly give it a try. They should just treat it as a competitor coupon.

      • concerned mom

It is in the Viva Italia booklet either at the front of your store or at CS.

        • I have used those at Publix.

    • qponing09

I went to my local publix tonight (Summerville, SC) and was shocked when the cashier suppressed a $.40 coupon. She said they will no longer double your Q's if the coupon states DND even if the bar code starts with a “5” I was bummed as Publix has always been my favorite for redeeming coupons. This was a manual override by the cashier, as the register was doubling it. My cashier stated this “new” policy has been in effect for at least 3 weeks. Has anyone else experienced this at their local stores? I'm not complaining as I'm still excited that my store continues to accept Target, Rite Aid, Wag's, and CVS as competitors.

If nothing else, I wanted to give everyone (especially those in Summerville) a heads up that this is going on. Then again, this could have been going on for a while and I'm just waaaaaaaaaaayyyy behind, LOL! Thanks.

      • shelly

My store does not double at all nor do they take out of county coupons – so you're lucky!

        • qponing09

Shelly, you're right. We're very lucky here. I was just taken by surprise tonight. Even without double coupons, there are some great deals out there to take advantage of. Good luck!

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Yes, this has happened to me for the last couple of weeks in Summerville (Trolley Road). Bummer – but Publix is still the best grocery store to shop!

        • qponing09

I agree, Publix is by far the best store to shop w/Q's!

      • Amber

I go to the Goose Creek publix and I've only had a DND suppressed once. I used 5 tonight for Nature Valley granola and Betty Crocker cookie mix w/o any probs. I know it's a little way from S'ville, but if you have a bunch to use in one week, it might be worth the drive. My best luck there has been from younger guy cashiers and a little older lady name Linda. :) HTH

        • zightlight

The Goose Creek Publix is the best!!!

          • kelly1369

I actually had a manager ringing me out today at the Goose Creek one. She was kind of a pain literally went through all of my stuff before she rang to make sure I had each item and the right amount (I thought they wouldn't scan if I didn't buy it?!)… anyways, a couple coupons said do not double and she did not surpress :)

            • JumpingJupiter

Those registers will scan virtually anything put into them. It is the cashiers job to screen them.

        • misscoupondiva

I agree!! Younger male cashiers don't bother with DND supressing. That's the line where I go!

      • Mel

I have had the same experience at the Old Trolley Summerville, SC store. However, it only seems to be with certain cashiers, as not all of them have been doing it?

        • qponing09

Thanks Mel, I do think it's certain cashiers as this is the first time it's happened and I'm in there at least 3 times a week. The young lady assisting me was very helpful and apologetic for having to suppress my coupons. I understand and will continue to be a LOYAL customer. It was fun while it lasted, LOL!

      • carolinagirl1025

I also live in Summerville. You didnt mention if you shop at the Central store or the Trolley one. I usually shop at Central, however on occasion will go to Trolley if it fits better in my daily plan. I have noticed Trolley seems to be a little more strict with coupons than Central. Just something to think of! (I had no problem doubling several DND Q's tonight!)

        • qponing09

I shop at the Trolley Rd. store, but will sometimes (very rarely) go to the Ash. Phos/Dorch. location. They've always been great at the Trolley Rd. location, I was just taken by surprise last night.

      • vica53

I shop @ the Publix on Dorch. Rd. and they still double coupons. I find it strange that only certain cashiers aren't doubling. If I were you, I'd ask the manager or corporate about it.

        • misscoupondiva

No, I wouldn't stir the pot! I complained a few months ago with an online submission, and the Manager called me directly. He told me that ALL cashier's should be supressing DND coupons, and if they weren't they could risk not getting reinbursed from the vendor of the coupon for violating the terms. So I say find a favorite cashier that does not supress and keep it moving.

          • I just sent them a “concern” via online submission expressing my concern over the constantly changing/inconsistent coupon policy. It just makes it really hard to shop on a budget when I never know whether the manager is in a good mood or the cashier is coupon friendly. I love my local Publix and all of their efforts thus far to keep my costs low, but I also have to stick with my budget. Unfortunately, my budget is more important than having the ability to shop at the store I consider my favorite. :(

      • AngelaDH

You may want to casually check with management next time you go in. For a brief period a few of our cashiers was doing so. I asked management, along with various others I'm guessing, and it stopped. Management said it was not their policy but the individual cashiers. It doesn't hurt to nicely ask.

      • misscoupondiva

I had this happen to me a few months ago at the Summerville/Knightsville Publix. Since then, I avoid the Cashier(s) that I know that don't double or incredibly scrutinize my coupons. There was one instance when a cashier did not double and I cancelled the entire order.. they dumped my groceries out of my bags and I went to another Publix and they doubled without a problem. I have my cashier “favorites” now, that I know don't bother with suppressing or one-per-purchase Qs. In my experience, the only cashiers that have supressed my Q's were older females.

        • Shawna

You are soooooooooooooooo right. I always try to pick younger guys or girls to check out with. I make sure that all my coupons are being used correctly and don't mind the cashier looking at them but when they scrutinze every single one to the item then that it sooooo irritating, not to mention time consuming. I had an older lady cashier at the Trolley Rd Publix review my coupons 4 times once when I checked out!!! It was awful, especially since the lady behind me waiting to checkout kept sighing VERY LOUDLY and was ittritated. I have found my favorites and just stay with them.

          • qponing09

Believe it or not, the younger ones are on top of the coupons now too. I always hand my coupons over before they start ringing up my items. I think this keeps us honest and it shows that you're not trying to hide anything or “get over” in any way. I've found that this makes them not “scrub” the coupons as much. It is Publix policy to match each coupon with the items being purchased. It is a little frustrating when you get those cashiers who want to look at your Q's so close and so many times all the while holding up the line. I some times feel bad for those people behind me but I can't do any better than organizing my coupons and ensuring they match up with what I have. Sometimes I help the cashiers out (by pointing out the items being purchased) especially when I have competitor and/or store coupons to go with the manuf. Q's. This seems to help sometimes.

I used to be one of those people behind someone with Q's sighing…………..If only I knew, LOL! I'm going to stick it out with Publix, they're still the best by far!

            • WynetteC

              I agree! :)
I don't mind handing my coupons over to them first. My intention is never to lie or trick them.
A heads up tip to those with rain checks, if and when you decide to use them, hand them over FIRST before anything else. This helps the cashier and they will appreciate you for doing this!

      • Carla

Bethlehem GA Publix has adopted the same policy. I found out last night as I was checking out. Looks like I will be going to Kroger now.

        • Really!?!?! I shop at the Bethlehem Publix as well, and I have only had this issue with a few select cashiers; however, I would just take my receipt to customer service and they would reimburse me for the difference with no hassles. I will definitely ask the manager today when I go for the new coupon policy before shopping. I really love that store, and I have gotten to know many of the employees. That's such a bummer if they have indeed altered their policy…. :(

          • Marsha

I went to the Bethlehem store a little while ago and the cashier doubled my muffin mix 50 cent coupons that said do not double. I believe it just depends on the cashier. BTW, they do not have the Italian flyer yet, but they do expect to receive it.

            • Thanks for the update Marsha! I definitely have my “favorite” cashier! She is a couponing mom herself, and she is wonderful! Also… thanks for the update on the flyer! It's penny item day, so I will stop by to pick up a couple things, but I'll check in with them later in the week to see if they get the flyer in!

            • Marie

Who are the friendly coupon cashiers at the Bethlehem store? Everytime I go the cashiers I get are irritated that I have coupons and sort them in front of me making sure they all match. I have never had them double a DND coupon. I wanna know what the good ones look like so I make sure I get in their lines!! :)

            • gtdad

I just got back from the Bethlehem store and had many DND coupons, but the cashier didn't suppress any of them. I also asked the girl at customer service and she didn't know of any official policy for cashiers to suppress the DND coupons. I didn't see her today, but I usually use a younger Asian woman because she's good with the coupons and always has a penny item hidden behind her counter on Wednesday, and will give it to you even if you don't have the penny coupon! :)

        • ashblac

I shop there too! Small world. The publix in Loganville seems to send them through, but who knows, I will go there tomorrow since the Bethlahem store did not have the $5 off Qs.

      • DawnMD

I am in summerville too and this has never happened to me! I go to the Publix on dorchester road though. I guess I won't be surprised if it starts happening though! I understand why you are bummed, I would be too:(

        • qponing09

I'm sure it won't be long before they start enforcing it at all the area stores. We still have Bi-Lo, LOL! Although, I over heard one of the Bi-Lo cashiers complaining to her manager that she's sick of coupons. Too bad they feel that way. If only they knew what they were missing!

      • Shawna

You must have been getting some great cashiers. I live in Summerville too and I go to the Trolley Rd Publix. I asked at customer service a few months ago and was advised they will double up to .50 as long as the coupon does not state DND. If it's DND then they will press the “supress” button. :( I was told by them that they actually are reimbursed double by the manufacterer but not on DND's so that's why they “supress” it. My favorite cashier at Publix actually stopped to look at my coupons last week…this is the 1st time she's done that. I think maybe they are starting to look a little closer at coupons since so many are using them. I still LOVE my Publix though. Great cashiers and they still have a great coupon policy.

        • qponing09

I have had some great cashiers at the Trolley Rd. location. The young lady checking me out last night is one of them. Like you, I think they're starting to crack down because of so many people getting “hip” to the coupon craze. It doesn't bother me as long as things are kept consistent. For it to be in effect for 3 weeks or better, it was quite a shock to me last night as I've never had a problem before. I don't notice the DND on many insert Q's, I usually see it more on the printables. I still love Publix and this will not deter me from shopping there. It will make me plan a little more carefully. I won't expect to have those Q's doubled and when they do it will be like Christmas, LOL. Nothing like getting an unexpected surprise at the register :0) Thanks!

      • melindaak

I go to Publix in Knightsville and they will not accept Target as a competitor. Which store will they take Target?

        • qponing09

Both Trolley Rd and Ashley Phosphate/Dorchester accept Target. HTH.

        • marip

I have noticed that Giise Creek Publix has been looking at coupons more. I am in there at least three times a week. I was told by someone at the service desk that the district manager has cracked down on coupons because of the increase use of them.
I also go to the younger cashiers & am picky about who rings up my order.

        • annie9206

Really??? They've always taken my Target coupons- did they quit taking them this week??

        • jess

since when will they not accept Target as a competitor? I use target q's there all the time!!

      • born2worship

I had the same thing happen at my local Harris Teeter. They never cared before about the DND but they do now. My Publix doesn't double coupons. So I know how you feel:(

      • WynetteC

The suppressing part has been going on for awhile now. Just pay attention to the specific sites that you are printing from when it is a .50 cent or less coupon. I have learned the two sites that always put the DO NOT DOUBLE at the top of their coupon and I just don't waste the ink from them unless it is a need.

    • Gabi

I am sooo excited about this ad!! I haven't even looked at the whole thing yet, but I just hppened to grab a couple of the italian booklets a couple of hours ago. I will use my $5 off coupon for the frozen Green Giant veggies, along with all the $50/2 coupons I've collected. Will make it $5 for 20 items. And the soup is a great deal, too! As always, thanks Jenny!

    • ash4usc09

I don't know the regular price of these but Viva promo including any Muir Glen product (except ketchup and salsa). There are $1/1 coupons for both Muir Glen Pasta Sauce and Can Soup from the Healthy Clippings Booklet. I found this at Earth Fare.

    • jean9

Hello..I am new to the site. Can someone tell me where to get the booklet “Rediscover your balance”? It is listed by the Peanut Butter. Thanks!

    • chessica

The printable Progresso coupon states Limit 1 per purchase per customer, therefore we can't use 5 on the same transaction for the soups. But soup will still only be .34 a can.

      • Toni

Sure you can. One per purchase = one per can. Purchase is different than transaction. You can purchase 5 and use 5 coupons in 1 transaction.

        • Debbie

I tried using the 5 of the -$1/4 with the -$5 off 20 cans and Publix would not let me do that!

      • jennc731

Thank you for pointing that out! It does say per customer. So that would mean the total purchase. I will just do 2 transactions and then the computer will recognize it. I was going to do that any way to the the $5 off 20 items coupon taken off. It is also per customer.

      • chessica

OK, so like I thought, these Qs cannot be used together. I, along w/ several others had a lengthy discussion w/ the store manager this morning. The $5 Q and the $1 Qs are both store Qs and they would not accect them both for one transaction, nor would they allow more than 1 $1 store Q per transaction. ALSO, they would not let us purchase 20 cans of soup d/t quanyity rights on BOGO items.

        • Cori

Wow, I feel very fortunate. My store let me do all these things today. I used the $5/20 and 5 $1 Q's all in one transaction buying 20 cans of soup. I shopped at Wade Hampton in Greenville.

    • NIKKI

Hey i'm pretty sure that there's a 50 cent coupon on the rite aid site if you watch the video for glad trash bags.Hope this helps. Thanks for all you do. NIKKI

      • Shawna

Yep there sure is. Just make sure you match it to the one's that are on sale at Publix.

    • clevelander

I have tried on several different times to print Lysol coupons & it continues to tell me I can't print it. I tried in FF & IE . What do I do????

      • concerned mom

Are you using Windows 7 as that is what I have and ever since I upgraded, I have not been able to print from Lysol, but when I was on Vista, I could.

    • ekjkp23655

Can anyone tell me about the policy (doubling/competitors q's) of the Publix in Simpsonville? I am going there this week and hope to shop at Publix for the 1st time. I don't want to be surprised. Thanks!

      • Kristy

The Five Forks loc only take Bi-Lo,Ingles and Bloom competitor coupons. I have never had a problem with them doubling up to 50 cents. But the five forks location is my main shop. I only shop Fairview Rd if I am on that side of town and really need to go.. but they have always doubled for me.

        • ekjkp23655

          Thanks so much!

      • jenna

the publix on fairview is nice. they do double coupons and will generally if you go there in the afternoon there is a couple of kids i like to have check me out. Krystal and Calvin are the best. Very friendly and always willing to help me with my couponing. You do have to becareful though at this one during the day. The older ladies are hell to deal with. So i will go in the afternoon when it is nap time for them. heheheh

I can’t seem to find a Frosted Miniwheats Q that doesn’t say I’ve reached my limit (even though I don’t remember printing one for months). And I don’t see one on the coupons.com link at all. Does anyone know a zip code or is it gone?

Those boxes have $5 Q booklets and I want them!

      • Paul

Try Redplum they have $1.50 off 2 coupons that can be used on Frosted Miniwheats

        • Allie

Yeah, that’s the one that tells me I’ve reached my limit. Was hoping to find a zip code that works for the coupons.com one.

      • Lianna

Are the booklets inside the box? That rocks!

        • Allie

Yes, but look for the specially marked boxes. It says something at the top, with a green background, about $5 in breakfast coupons. They did this before and then it was everything from Special K, pop-tarts, mini-wheats, and $1 off produce and milk when you buy certain cereals. Great Qs!

    • has anyone found the viva italia coupon booklet in ATL yet?

      • GAmeg

Got it this am at the Publix on Ashford Dunwoody – yeah!

      • Debbie33

I just looked at a publix in Cumming and did not find it. :( I am hoping maybe it will be out tomorrow since the sale starts tomorrow.

      • Wasn't at the Publix in Powder Springs. I asked Cust. Service and she didn't know anything about it.

      • Audrey

I got mine today in the mail, I live in Fayetteville.

      • couponclary

Got one at the Dacula store @ Fence Road/Auburn Road on Wednesday evening!

        • Deanna

I just called them and they said they did not have it…where did you find it?

          • couponclary

There was a cardboard display set up right when you walk in the doors (right side of the store), directly across from the customer service desk. There was a holder on each side of the display (4 sides) and one or two holders were empty, but there were several loose in one holder and another had a brand new, unopened stack of booklets. Good luck! I was there about 8 last night.

      • Katherine

The New Hope Publix in Dallas has them! They have the display hidden inside the Viva Italian aisles they have set up at the front right of the store

      • klonghall

Five Forks & Killian Hill Publix had them on a cardboard display in an area in front of the just before the deli area.

    • Kristi

For anyone who uses Enfamil, Walgreens is printing $5 off coupons (they say manufacturer) with each purchase. It says any Enfamil purchase-so this would be good to use on anything!

      • Emily

I have two of these…from Wags. If someone wants to email me the address who wants/needs them, I’d be happy to send them. I don’t need them, or know anyone who does so they are just going to waste. seesnappsave@yahoo.com

      • Emily

Sorry if this is a repost…I have two of these Wags coupons. I don't need them or know anyone who does so if you would like to email me your address, I'd be happy to mail them to you. seesnappsave (at) yahoo (dot) com.

        • Liz

          I need them!

          • wolverinehokie

I have 2 as well. I bought diapers for a friend's shower, but I don't even have a baby. Is there a way to send private messages so I can give you my email address?

            • Kristi

I don’t know if you can do a private chat, but here is my email if you or anyone has an enfamil coupon they don’t need.

            • Kristi

I don’t know if you can do a private chat, but here is my email if you or anyone has an enfamil coupon they don’t need.

        • Emily

They have been spoken for now.

        • Liz

Thanks so much- I got them today!

      • Brianne

Just to clarify, do they print out with the purchase of anything or only when you buy enfamil? I would love to get my hands on them!

        • Emily

No, mine printed when I purchased Huggies during last weeks RR deal, I believe. I don't buy formula and I got them…so it must be other baby items.

        • Brianne – if you use enfamil let me know – for some reason Catalina at Kroger keeps printing out $5 off enfamil manu q's everytime I buy a baby item there and none of my friends want them.

      • Libbytn

Anybody know what the shelf life is on Enfamil?

        • Kristi

You have to look at the expiration date-I have seen it up to a year, but usually the dates are about 6 months out.

    • Carla

Well I'm afraid I will be shopping at Kroger from now on. I went to my local Publix in Bethlehem, GA on my way home last night. I was only getting a few things that were BOGO that I had coupons to match. As I was checking out, I noticed the cashier was overriding the doubling. I asked what he was doing. He said they had a new coupon policy…any time a coupon says “do not double” they will suppress the doubling! I was heartbroken! While Publix is more expensive in my opinion, using my coupons made it affordable. Just in the small amount I purchased, I would have save an additional $3.00 before they change their policy. I may still shop their BOGO if i have coupons I can stack.

      • Laurie

I was told by my Publix in Murfreesboro, TN, that they were not supposed to double anymore, either, if the Q reads, “Do not double”. Although, so far I've not noticed a cashier overriding it.

      • Jennifer

For $3 I wouldn't stop shopping at Publix. Kroger always seems more expensive to me. Publix is cleaner & nicer than any other grocery store.

      Re: Nestle Coffee-Mate Non-Dairy Creamer, 32 oz, at $2.39 ($1.19)
Our Birmingham News as this morning does not have this item in the ad. Any suggestions?

      • Anonymous

I’m in B’ham too, or just outside. It’s on page 12 of the ad, if you pull it up on Publix.com. Didn’t see the Smucker’s Uncrustables on there though.

        • Some of the items on the list are the top deals from the advantage buy flyers so you won't miss them. The uncrustables are an advantage deal.

          • 3monkeysmom

Thanks!! I had that flyer sitting on my counter, right under my nose……………..:-)

        • Some of the items on the list are the top deals from the advantage buy flyers so you won't miss them. The uncrustables are an advantage deal.

I am in Trussville, where are you? I went to the Trussville store on Highway
11 at Deerfoot and the item was not on sale.

          • 3monkeysmom

I'm from Dora (near Jasper) but I shop at the Publix on Old Springville Road in Pinson. Too bad about the creamer. I'm with your wife, who wants unflavored creamer? :-)

        • bobalvis

          Thanks again,
I looked at our newspaper ad and it is listed on page 12, but excludes
“FLAVORED” which is what my wife uses.

      • kimbo0825

Our ad had the “Hunt's” brand tomatoes instead of the “Muir Glen” ones that were listed online. I wonder if there's another brand they're substituting for your coffee-mate?

        • Hunts are B1G1 at Publix, but the Muir Glen are $1.50 each, which makes them free after store and manufacturer coupons.

BTW, if anyone has trouble finding the Muir Glen tomatoes, they are in the organic food section… I swear I spent 5 minutes searching the canned tomato section and had finally given up, and then I happened to see them when I went to get my refrigerated items as the organic foods section is across from the refrigerator section at our store.

    • wolverinehokie

Am I reading this right? You can make money buying the bread crumbs.
      (4) Progresso Bread Crumbs, 15 oz canister, at $1.83
      (1)$1/4 Progresso Products printable
      (4) $1.10 off Progresso Panko Crumbs

You make $1.62. They can also be used towards your 20 items for the $5 off.

      • Amy B.

Pankos are different than regular breadcrumbs & cost more (~$3 if i remember correctly) so no, this would not work on the regular breadcrumbs.

        • Lianna

Right; the breadcrumbs on sale are the ones that come in a canister. The Panko crumbs don't come in a canister, they come in a box. They were 2.49 at my publix last night, so with the 1.10 Q the would be 1.39. You'd be better off buying the regular breadcrumbs for the sale (but you can't use the 1.10 Q, so it won't be a moneymaker, but still a good deal :) )

    • Wanda

I'm new to all this! Some of the coupons Jenny advertises say they are available on “Tearpad”. What's this??

      • Donna

A tearpad is where they will have a pad of the product by a product and you ripe off how many you want/need if you can find it.

      • elseiffert

Tearpads are those coupons that are set up in the grocery store near to the item of interest. Sometimes, it may be a little pad of coupons, and you would tear it off as you would out of a notepad. Other times, the stores may use a little red dispenser. Hope that helps.

      • jengc

A tearpad is a book of coupons at the store right at the product. There are also things called blinkies that blinks and dispenses coupons one at a time. My daughter is the queen of finding coupons in stores.

    • Dawn

Rappini is the lettuce like vegetable that Rapunzel's mother craved when she was expecting Rapunzel. Her father agreed to give the baby to the witch so he could satisfy the mother's craving! I'll pass. . .

      • Gabi

Just cause I know this one better (I am German and heard this fairy tale over and over in my childhood): It was not Rappini that she craved, it was lamb's lettuce. The German word for that is “Rapunzel” :-) So go ahead and enjoy your rappini, and don't worry about the witch… LOL

    • keb2009

i'll tell ya what, for all the shenanigans that conagra makes you go through just to get a $1 off coupon, they can keep it.

    • anniet1018

My Publix accepts Food Lion store coupons. I rec'd an email this morning from FL for store coupons for $1/1 Coffee-Mate Dairy Coffe Creamer. Could I use this and a Manufacturers? Do they treat the competitors as a store coupon? This would be a “money-maker”, right?

      • Michelle

You could use both except the FL Q is for Dairy and the BOGO is NonDairy.

        • anniet1018

The BOGO is definitely Dairy. What a fiasco, though. I thought it was the flavored…which of course was not on sale. I only like the flavored. I didn't realize it until I got home with 6 of them ($19) I thought my bill was high. Had to run 'em back to the store for a refund. They were so nice to me. I just need to pay more attention and not let my 16 year old distract me! I'll never learn! They did take all the Q's and they gave them all back to me with the refund.

    • jennifer

I have a $1.50/1 Baby Club coupon for Johnson's Bedtime wash or lotion – should make for some cheap (or free?) baby wash when combined with the sale and $2 printable!

    • keb2009

anyone able to find the new york texas toast? the 10011 zip doesn't work unless im blind :)

      • Paul

Go to AllYou.COM go to coupons & deals. Click on the Log Cabin Syrup icon. Then a list of coupons should show up. There is a 50 cents off from any New York brand frozen bread product.

      • keyrahollmer

        Try 30534.

        • KEB2009

negatory on both paul and key. the allyou coupons are the same ones as coupons.com as it shows that i’ve reached my limit on a couple. oh well!

    • RMD

I work for Publix, so YMMV with the Viva Italian Coupons –
Lets say you use the $1/4 Progresso items you can't then in turn use the $5/20 coupon because you have already used a publix coupon for those items already bought. It's double dipping on 2 Publix coupons. Make sense?

      • Lianna

Makes sense. Though I hadn't thought about that; now I'm going to have to rework my shopping list lol.

      • elizabeth

Makes perfect sense. I want to save as much as possible, but sometimes the deals on here seem to border on dishonest or just not possible. Thanks for the clarification.

        • Janie

I have really bragged on Publix in the pass, but I am having problems. They pulled a quantity rights reserved on me this week. Every coupon was nitpicked. What's up, with
all the Publix coupons, that they do not have the product? Also in the past, have let me have the penny item without coupon, didn't get it this week. I think they just lost a customer.

          • Kim

They got picky with me this week too! It took me over 45 min to check out because they went over every coupon and took almost everything out of the bag and counter to make sure I bought enough. I was not a happy camper since it was all there and they had to ring all the coupons!!!

            • sheba18

I love my Publix!! I got (2) GG frozen veggies $1 ea using .50 C = $1; (2) Glen Miur tomatos $1.50 ea using 2 $1 C and $1 SC; (16) Progresso soup BOGO $1.14ea using $5.80 in C and (4) $1 SC; then $5 off 20 TOTAL $4.54!!! All while the store manager bagged my groceries!!! AWESOME! Thanks Jenny

            • Janie

I want to shop at your Publix. I am beginning to think that the Publix in Carrollton is trying to run everybody over to Kroger.

            • tnt1217

I went to the Brentwood (Tn) store on Thursday the store manager and Dm look at all my coupons and products i had the coupons for each items but was made to feel I was stealing from them. The cashier was very rude(Tim) and told the bagger that if Publix did not change the way they did coupons all of them would be out of a job! I told him that was why I use the coupons I will not go back to that store again I rather pay a little more in gas to go somewhere else than to go back to that store

            • mary

Do something about it. Send a letter to corporate. Tell them your frustrations and ALSO tell them what you LIKE!!!

The sales associates are getting it from both ends so LET YOUR VOICE be heard!!

Go to the publix Website and do something about your frustrations. IT will help!!

            • tnt1217

I just sent corporate an email lets see what happens now

              thanks for the advice

            • sue ford

I shop at the Publix in Antioch and have good luck with them. Only once did they refuse a coupon and my husband spoke with the manager and he let us use the coupon. It was a $3 off of Purina One that I had printed from the Publix web site, but it came out really small and they thought I photocopied it.

But, overall, they are friendly, helpful, and accomodating there, so if you need a new Publix, I can heartedly recommend them.

            • itismedia

tnt, I agree with the others Publix is great about customer service. I had a horrible experience at my Publix when it first opened and e-mailed corporate. Within 2 days I had recieved an e-mail and a phone call. I love my Publix now, but they will not know what is going on unless you tell them. Good luck, That seems WAY over the top.

            • born2worship

I am in the same boat as you. My cashier actually spread out ALL of my coupons, and there were about a million. That took forever because she ran out of space. The bag lady did not even have room to load my groceries. As she rang up the groceries she would pull aside the coupons and check quantity etc..I had the coupons neatly arranged together, but when she spread them out she did not even put the matches together. Then it took a while to even find all of the coupons. All in all I stood in the check out line for 1 hour and 10 minutes:( I was not happy but I kept my cool in check and prayed that God would not let me explode. Everything checked out okay and the store manager even gave a pat on the back. The cashier wanted a hug- I mean how could I say no thanks? My total value was $205.00 with $16.00 OOP after qs. But boy I felt like I had worked for it:) Let's face it though- the dishonest consumers are the ones who ruin it for the honest.

            • itismedia

I had that happen a couple of times at my Publix. I LOVE my srore, but there are those few cashiers…If I have to get into one of their lines (I try not to!) I offer to hand her the coupons as she rings up the items. I know how many there are and what items have them. It goes A LOT quicker this way. If it is a cashier I have never seen before I ask her if she wants the coupons at the end or if she would prefer I hand them to her as we go. Most look at me funny, as in why would I want them while I am ringin you up, but it is easier than having to pull stuff out of the bags later to “prove” I bought it and it was the right size, etc… I also try to keep on my grocery list how many of something I actually bought. That way, if I have multiple coupons and they ask, “How many of these did you get again?” I can quickly answer, if I can't remember.
I agree that it is the ones that are trying to use extra coupons or a big coupon for a smaller size, etc…I am grateful to save my 70% honestly. It wouldn't be as satisfying if I cheated. Good luck!

            • nikiben

I can't imagine standing in line for an hour! It is most definitely the people that are dishonest that cause this trouble for everyone else. But, I was a cashier at Winn Dixie before I was married and I will tell you I DREADED one lady that came in. She'd hand me a half inch stack of coupons and then expected me to trust the fact that they matched everything she bought and weren't expired. I didn't know her at all. Plus, no one is perfect so it is only right to go through every coupon. There have been a few times where I didn't notice that a coupon was good for two items purchased and the cashier caught it when I didn't. I do not do huge orders anymore. I go twice a week if I can. And, I have started placing coupons with the items on the conveyor belt. It isn't as fun seeing the amount saved go up while the amt you pay goes down but it saves a huge headache for the cashier. It is a small inconvenience to be able to 'extreme couopn.'

            • karen

The publix on trolley rd in summerville does the same thing! Spread them all out and reads them, and makes sure you got the exact item!! Its getting ridiculous because it takes so long to check out. Meanwhile there are other customers behind me looking like im crazy!!! Why has publix become so hostile to us couponers??

            • 1Saver

I live in West Palm Beach, Fl. I have had similiar situation happen to me on numerous occassions. All the items matched the coupons. It was as if the sme cashier felt she was “belittling” me in front of other customers, who were waiting patiently. I since have contacted the corporate office of Publix in Lakeland, Florida and have yet to have a problem thereafter. As I had been advised that Publix had been in receipt of numerous complaints regarding my situation and the cashier.

          • kirakangas

Please don't leave!!! As a Publix associate and customer I can tell you it has gotten difficult! All of our orders to get strict on the coupons has come from the District Managers and the Corporate offices… we cannot control this (although some of it doesn't make much sense). There are some people who take complete advantage of Publix's service and mess it up for the rest of you. Sorry!

            • RM

even as a customer I can totally understand, I am wondering don't you think it woud be better to hand over the couponsindividually as each item is rang up this way there is no double checking after everything has been bagged. I would rather do this than to have my items unbagged and checked again.

          • cindyd1969

Publix in my area is getting VERY picky with coupon use too. I was asked for all of my coupons BEFORE the cashier started ringing me up. I suggested that as she rungs up each item, I would hand her the coupons for that item. It took me a VERY long time to be rung up. They read every bit of fine print on each coupon. They would not double my 50/1 Betty Crocker muffin mix or 50/1 Wise. Also the only coupons from other stores they are accepting now is Kroger. The 50/1 Lysol product, they would not accept against the Lysol that is on sale. They also would not accept the 40/1 Zip loc (even though the coupon stated “ANY”) for the Zip n Steam bags. This is the second time I have run into this at Publix (two different stores). They are only allowing you to use coupons for an item if it matches the picture on the coupon, even if it says “any”. I gladly accepted the new policy and put the items back that I could not purchase with coupons. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case this new policy is coming from Publix headquarters, since I have ran into the same thing at two different stores. I still had a GREAT day at Publix…spent $30.04 and saved $86.19. :)

          • Brooke82

It's probably due to the fact that some people abuse the coupon system. No offense to anyone on this site or to Jenny. I think everyone here gives good advice and Jenny is always on top of her coupon game!

          • Stacie

I have to say that I did my publix shopping 3 days ago, and for the first time I had coupon problems. I was made to feel like a dishonest person..some kinda theif. I handed my cashier my coupons before she rang up my items. She spread em out and gave the bag boy a look. He poked at my bag that I keep my coupons in, and asked what I had in the bag. I opened it and allowed him to poke through my belongings, which were newspaper inserts and a box of coupons in clear plastic. He then left and picked up the little black phone and called for the manager to come over. She literally spent 15 minutes going through each coupon, while the cashier claimed she was overwhelmed with my coupons. My husband turned 8 shades of red in anger. I wont ever return to this Publix..Ormond Beach, Fl.
            Angry in Ormond

            • lucy2778

Wow, I'm so sorry that happened to you. People in my Publix are pretty nice, but I hate Walgreens. Last week I bought 2 items, used 2 coupons, and the cashier gave me such a look, as if I was stealing! (I paid $3, saved $20). She was also trying to MAKE ME buy candy that was on sale. Literally, after I told her I didn't want any, she asked me again how many I wanted. What I think is that some people are jelous of our savings.

        • Joy

The deals on this website are not dishonest. Jenny will be the first one to tell you to follow the rules that are stated on the coupon and for that store. This is one of the only sites that wants to make sure that we the coupon users get the best deal but also make sure we are not out there to “stick it to the store”

        • skflbeaches

I have to disagree. Nothing dishonest about anything on this site, in fact she urges everyone to follow coupon rules and provides ample explanation of how to do so!

      • LD

I really wish Publix would have clarified this better in the booklet. Why put those coupons together in one booklet or on the General mills site for the promotion ? If they have coupons for the individual items and then on all . I wish they would have clarified you can only use 1 or the other on the promotion . ugg.

      • Jen

Couldn't you use a coupon like the $1/4 Progresso coupon from the brochure for 4 soups and then use the $5 off 20 items if you bought 20 other qualifying items (ie the Green Giant veggies)??

        • RMD

Absolutely! B/C you're using that Publix coupon for other items! One Publix coupon is for the soups and the other Publix coupon is for 20 items (ie: Green Giant Veggies) that have not had a Publix coupon associated with it!

      • Cori

Thankfully, they took all my Q's for this.

      • Nicole

I went tonight and they had no problems with using the coupons and the $5/20. The coupons just say each can only be used once. Publix is still getting reimbursed for these items/promotion.

      • Amy B.

But the coupons don't say can't be combined with any other offer or anything like that? What if there were some items you didn't have publix coupons for that are included in your 20 items? It just doesn't make sense that they put the items on sale, put these coupons out together and then say you can't use them together…

      • RozR

not to discount what your saying but my publix had no problems taking my $5/20 combined with the other coupons.

      • spmiller

        what is YMMV???

        • crystalfawn

Go to the Getting Started Guides on the Home Page and scroll down for the coupon FAQ and you will find a coupon lingo guide :-) YMMV- Your Mileage May Vary (you may find the item priced differently or it may not work for you the same)

      • born2worship

It is driving me crazy- what does YMMV mean:) I just can't figure it out.

        • crystalfawn

I asked about this today at the service desk and was told that it was okay to use both. FL

I understand the whole double dipping thing, but no where in that coupon book does it state that the $5/20 coupon can't be combined with the other coupons and it doesn't state on the coupon itself that it can not be combined with any other offer. I'm not, nor is anyone else on this site, out to steal from the company. However, it makes us think twice about shopping at Publix if it is going to take so much time for the cashiers to go through every product and coupon.

      • BB

Publix's motto used to be “Where Shopping is a Pleasure”, but it seems lately that it should be “Where Shopping is a Hassle”. It's crazy to go in and shop and then spend anywhere from 15-30 minutes in the checkout line because they have to scrutinize over every coupon. I understand that some people have been abusing coupons and they have to crack down, but there has to be a more efficient way of doing things.

    • Donna

If you signed up for the Organic Valley newsletter that they sent in the home mailer there's a $2.00 off for any product. And on some of the Kashi cereal there are peelies on them that have $3 worth of Kashi products.

    • Carrie

At Muellershealth.com I was able to print $.55/1 coupons for the whole wheat pasta or pasta ribbons. So, if those are included in the BOGO sale then that would make it $.15 per box for those of us who live in FL and aren’t able to get double coupons (I don’t think the rest of you can double a coupon over $.50 anyway, right?). This would be a great item to donate to a local food bank.

the whole wheat is included :)

      • keyrahollmer

This is awsome!! Thank you!! Will work great in Ga!! Better than the 50. coupon!!

      • Carrie, thanks for the tip! Yes, the whole wheat varieties are included in the BOGO. I just got back from my Publix. Too bad I didn't know about the $.55 coupon before I went! :-) I agree – great item to get extras to donate to a local food bank.

    • Rappini or brocolli raab (also spelled rabe, it's kinda confusing) is really worth a try. It doesn't taste like broccoli to me. It's quite good sauteed in some olive oil, salted, and peppered with red chili flakes, then mixed in with any kind of pasta dish.

    • dan

I have a question about the Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59 ($1.29) -> (makes it .29). So I have to use 2 (-.50) coupons? Is it ok to do that since the coupon said do not double (they also have the same bar code number).

      • jseveran

Normally, Publix will double the face value of a coupon up to .50, making it valued at $1. “Do not double” means that the value of the coupon should not be doubled – it should only be valued at .50. Does this make sense? It is fine to use two coupons if you have two items, one coupon per item.

    • jane

The Publix on Pelham in Greenville, SC did not have the Viva Italia booklet and no one had heard of it. Anyone seen it at one of the other stores?

      • I called the Publix on Wade Hampton Blvd., in Taylors, SC, and was told that they are in the revolving shelves near the door. They said they might put them at the Customer Service Desk, though, because some customers were grabbing most of them; so you may need to check with Customer Service.

      • Chris

The Five Forks Publix has the booklet.

    • Anonymous

Rappini is Broccoli Raab- Kind of a cross between broccoli and collared greens. Here is a good description!

    • Kristen

There’s also a Free Offer from Cole’s Garlic Bread. If you send in three Proof of Purchases you get a free bag. Print out four coupons with the BOGO deal this week and get the bag for free as well!!

    • dgram41

ATTENTION LEXINGTON PUBLIX SHOPPERS: the Viva Italia booklet is out on display right when you walk in the door to the right. The little girl behind the desk kept telling me they didn't have it, so I asked to speak with the manager. He knew all about it and then put them out. There IS a limited quantity so if you paid for your items without the coupon, I would advise you to take your receipt back to the store immediately & grab a coupon & get a refund at customer service. (I know there are lots of you 'cause we were all looking for the coupon booklet toghether.) Good luck!

      • Marilee

The manager at my Publix said they hadn't seen the coupons yet and someone else had been in asking about it too. :(

      • LD

you can get them at click call mail site . I made a post on the info for this it is being moderated just try googling it

        • ash

here are all the coupons including the $5 off one..

          • ash4usc09

Wa-hoo! Thanks, looks like I'll be heading back to Publix. Earlier I didn't have this and the store didn't have the coupon booklet.

          • Faith

Couldn't find the -$5/20 from any other links until I checked your link. Thanks for the help!

      • ash4usc09

Hmm wish I would have asked someone else now. I asked one cashier and she just said they hadn't come in yet.

    • Anonymous

      I love this website….

    • carrieblee

For any of you in the Atl. area that have Charter Cable I found a .50/1 coupon for Coffee-Mate creamer in the RP that came on 2/4.

      • sara

I also received the .50/1 Coffee-Mate in the Greenville paper. That makes it $.19 each!

    • mistyi

I am new to couponing. I am not sure how you can use 4 .50 cents off 2 coupons (see viva Italia scenario) if you can only double coupons. that would be like quadrupling the coupons. Also in the same senario, it says to use (3) .95/1 coupons for sweet rolls. That amount is to large to double. I am very confused. Could someone please give me some insight.

      • Alice

When it says that they double coupons they mean the monetary value of the coupon. Publix doubles up to 50 cents. So the 4 50 cents coupons would double up to a dollar. HTH, and happy couponing, its so much fun!

    • Heather

The Super Pretzel Q in the 12/6 insert is expired. At least mine is…..just be careful! Thanks for all you do Jenny!

    • nicolejuhan

North Augusta, SC shoppers- the Viva Italia coupon booklet is in a tall cardboard stand-up thing near the front entrance across from the B1G1 bins. It has the store coupons for pillsbury, muir glen, green giant, progresso, and $5 off 20 GM products in it. There is a tear off for progresso broth available in the same area, but I couldn't find the one for the green giant canned veggies in the store.

      • Leah_in_SC

Thanks for the tip…I'm in NA and will stop by this evening to pick up a couple flyers. I probably won't get to shop til Sunday, and by then, these will likely be long gone! =)

        • Nicole

Lisa- I just stopped by to get a birthday card and all the Progresso tearpad coupons were gone and I didn’t see the Viva Italian display that was up yesterday. You can print all the coupons online at clickcallmail.com.

          • Leah_in_SC

Hey Nicole…the viva italia display was back up and fully stocked when I went yesterday, just no tearpad q's. They even had the two new Publix flyers – the stock up one and the children's lunch one – they are right up front and center, close to the metal bars that separate the checkout area. I grabbed 2 of each!

And just a heads up…my cashier was Chelsea, young african american female. She was so nice and coupon friendly. I asked if she needed me to sort them or do anything to help her before she started and she said just to pull out any that required her to enter the price (like buy this item, get this item free where she would have to enter the price of the free item and write it on the q). I only had one of those (free gallon of milk with $100 purchase) so I handed it to her first, then the rest she just laid down until the end. She even let all my green giant frozen veggie q's double (even though they say DND). She was by far the most pleasant cashier to deal with as far as coupons go! I'll definitely be looking for her next time I go!!! =)

I even got a free newspaper (more q's!!!) – the Augusta Chronicle was on sight doing a registration promotion and giving away free papers! Overall it was a great week for me at Publix!

    • Stacey

Can anyone tell me what day the ad starts in Smyrna, TN? Is it Wed or Thurs? I usually shop at Kroger, but want to give Publix a try. Thanks!

      • Deborah

Hi Stacey! Welcome to Publix mania! I'm pretty sure the one in Smryna starts on Wed. I shop at the one in Antioch (new one in the Mt. View marketplace) and that is when they start. I think all of ours around here start on Wed. To be sure, go to the Publix website and search for your local ad. Then, look at the bottom of the first page and it should tell you. :) Good Luck!

    • Nicole Juhan

You can print all the in-store Viva Italian coupons at http://www.clickcallmail.com- including the $5/20 GM products. There’s a link on the right hand side of the page- it’s identical to what you get in the store (minus it’s not folded for you.)

      • tracy99

        Thank you!!!

      • TiyaC

Where can I find the $5/20 on this site?

    • kathy1949

Does anyone know it Publix will accept Harvey's coupons? I shop Publix on HArbison and also the one on Broad River Rd in Columbia sc area.

      • Katie

I don't think so since there are no Harvey's grocery stores in Columbia/Irmo. I've always heard that the other store has to be a direct competitor, so I've never tried to use Harvey's coupons. I shop at the Broad River/Kennerly Rd. store.

      • kimbo0825

I tried the “store locator” on the Harvey's website. There's one in Jasper Co. (which I wasn't sure where that was even!). It's next to Beaufort–which I think is too far to be considered a competitor. I threw out all the Harvey's coupons I printed…and didn't even try them.

    • michelle

There is a 1/1 Crisco Olive oil q on coupons.com, not sure which zip, but I printed it last night

    • Han

Can you use Walgreen's RRs at Publix?

      • wolverinehokie

You can at my Publix in Melbourne, FL

    • Just a head’s up on a great offer!

FREE Designer Tote Bag from Cole’s with 3 Proofs of Purchase!

Great since their products are on sale this week!

    • Angela M.

Target has a printable coupon for $1 off purina dog and cat food. This is a manufacturer coupon which can be stacked with the Publix coupon for $3 off.

    • Has anyone in Greenville, SC, found the Classico Pasta coupons?
      I can't find them.
If you did, please, let me know. I would like to get them.

      • Snowski824

I couldn't find them either and they weren't on the 1/10/10 coupon list at all.

      • ash4usc09

Me either… big bummer! I was so excited when I realized that Alfredo IS included and was thinking I could grab bunches of free pasta and alfredo sauce! :(

    • Katie

I can't find the $1.10/3 Progresso soups coupon…is there a specific zip code that works?

      • Carrie

Click on the second “printable” that Jenny has listed for the $1.10/3 Progresso soup. If you don't find it, it may be because you have already printed the limit before and so they just take it off the coupons that you see. I couldn't find it under the first “printable” but did find it under the second. Hope that helps.

    • Joy

Does anyone know for sure yet whether the Classico alfredo sauce is included in the bogo sale?

      • Lianna

It is pictured in the weekly ad at publix.com! The ad pictures 2 jars, the Tomato & Basil and Creamy Alfredo varieties. The ad reads: Classico Pasta Sauce/Buy 1 Get 1 Free/Assorted Varieties, 8.1 to 24-oz jar/Quantity rights reserved

      • ash4usc09

I was in Publix earlier and YES they are included. Unfortunately I can't find any Classico coupons in my SS. :( Was it regional?

        • moneysaved4disney

          wasnt in mine either…charleston

        • mary

          Not in Northern Fl. either

      • Sarah

Does this mean that if you bought one alfredo and one tomato sauce they would both end up being free using the BOGO coupon?

    • Mike

I cannot get bricks coupons coupon installer to download on my computer. Anyone have trouble with this? I get a little frustrated because I feel most of the online coupons run through this installer. Thanks for the help!

    • Mike

How much does the Viva Italia booklet cost?

      • Marina115

It's free! They usually have these type of booklets at the store entrance or customer service.

    • Bellaa

      Gratsi! Anusha Benio!

    • There's a coupon for $0.35/1 Hillshire Farm Deli Select, RP 1/24.
When doubling, it would make the meat @ $2.30 each.
Bi-Lo has Sara Lee cooked ham, sliced at the deli, @ $1.99lb., though, which is cheaper.

    • Aby

Almost all of the SS coupons listed aren't in my SS inserts – is anyone else experiencing this? None of them for Jan. or Feb. have what's listed. I am in AL btw…

      • kristishellen

I am having the same problem, let me know what you find out! THANKS!

      • ash4usc09

Same here! These regional coupons annoy me! I get so excited and then…. nothing!

      • jessheartscoupons

try to buy a “bigger” paper. I live in Chattanooga, and the Chatt Times has less than half the coupons as the Atlanta Journal. I get my mom to mail me the coupons from the AJC every week.

      • Dawn

I am having the same issue! AND I didn't get RP or SS in today's (Sunday) paper. Just P&G coupon booklet. Was looking for the Purex all in one coupons….

      Rappini or broccoli-rabe –

An Italian favorite. And very, very healthy. I grew up eating this. Here's some ways I prepare it. I don't measure, just eye-ball it, so some of ingredients are to your taste. I visit here often but this is my first post. I really appreciate this site.

      1. Take 1 head of rappini. Cut off stems. I just hold the bunch and get a knife and chunk stems on an angle away and down from the bunch. . Or you can hold the bunch and cut straight across.
Then wash and chop. Or chop and wash. You can leave a bit of moisture on it.
      2. In large saute pan, place 2-3 Tbl. Extra Virgin olive oil. Add chopped or pressed fresh garlic cloves (2-6 depending on how much you like) and saute until just lightly fragrant. Don't over -brown. If you like, for another layer of flavor, you can stir in a dab of anchovy paste (you don't need much) and a shake of red pepper flakes.
      3. Add rappini all at once, and spread out to cover bottom of pan so oil doesn't splatter.
      4. Add 1 can of drained garbanzo, navy or cannellini beans, 4-6 good shakes of dried oregano (to your taste) and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to mix. You can add a bit of water if it's too dry, to make a bit of broth. Taste and adjust seasonings.
      5. Cover and simmer until greens are wilted, but don't lose that green color.

On each serving, sprinkle some Extra Virgin Olive oil, fresh ground black pepper and grated locatelli romano ( I use it 'cause this is what my mom and grandmom used. It's saltier and has more kick) or parmesan cheese. Both available at Publix – I use 4C brand. they have both individually and and a combination of both.

      1. You can just make the rappini. Omit beans.
      2. Add pasta. Before starting rappini, put on a pot of water to boil. Cook some whole grain penne pasta. Barilla Plus is a good one. Drain (keep 1/2 c or so of pasta water) and add to rappini and bean mixture to blend flavors and simmer a minute or so before serving. Add some of the pasta water if too dry and needed for some broth.
      3. RAPPINI OMELET. Prepare the rappini without beans. Cool a bit. Add to a few beaten eggs. You can add some more grated Italian cheese to the mixture.

I just noticed English muffins are on sale. I love English muffin pizzas. So quick and easy. I just split and toast them, add sauce and favorite toppings and put under broiler for a few minutes. So-o- good. I'm making myself hungry!

      • bethannie

WOW!!!!!!! What time is dinner!!!!! Thanks for your recipes!! They sound great!!!

      • Monkeymom1

I love cannellini beans! I'm trying this! thanks!

      • Jodi

Just made this tonight and it was yummy! Hubby really liked it and kept trying to decide if it was more like greens or brocolli and finally decided to just say it was a mix :)

    • Amy B.

Keep your eyes peeled for a tearpad rebate for try me free any progresso bread crumbs. I found it at Harbison Columbia, SC store today, so that will go nicely with the GM sale!

      • ash4usc09

I found the tearpad with digiorno etc on it too! In our store (Simpsonville, SC) it was located on the shelves as soon as you walk through the door, just below the Parmesan cheese. (They have gathered all the Viva Italia items and put them up front in the promo spot.)

    • Violet

Colgate has a pull coupon on it for 50cents off to save for future use and the Softsoap also has a pull coupon that is better than the printable coupon for 35cents off.

      • ywardlaw

The 35 cent soft soap coupons didn't apply to the BOGO soft soap due to the size difference.

    • michaelunmeployed

Thank you, Jenny! This was a great week at Publix. You make my life so easy!

    • Laura

I'm trying to find a Resolve Carpet Cleaner Coupon. It's on sale at my Publix (Albany, GA) for 2 for $7. I think I can find it cheaper elsewhere unless I can find a coupon for it. Anyone have any suggestions?

      • Toni

$1.50/1 coupon at http://www.powerofresolve.com and click on the coupons tab. HTH

      • jessheartscoupons

I think there was one in the RP 1/3, but I'm not sure what the value was.

Don't you hate when you have your list, all your coupons in order, you successfully purchase everything you're supposed to, checkout is going great, you've saved all this money……and then you realize too late that you picked up the wrong sale item so you paid way too much for that item. I hate when I do that! Fortunately this site and many of you save me even when I make mistakes.

      • SM

I've done that a few times, luckily I usually have a pretty good idea of how much I am going to spend after q's so I check my receipt before walking out the door :)

      • babs

If I pick up the wrong item I return it. I bought toothbrushes last week and picked up the wrong one. I returned it to the store and got the correct one. This week I picked up the body wash on sale. I did not smell it till I got home eeeeewww….So Back they go for a different scent.

      • Nej

this only happens when i send my husband…lol

    • Kat

The link to the 4 Viva Italia coupons, can we print that out and use? I did already and now am wondering if you meant just to show us what it looks like. Opps!

      • Jamie

        I'm confused by that too!

      • meredithcombs

You can print them because they are on the website

    • joyfullysaving

FYI There was Tearpad coupon in the cracker aisle for $1 off cheese wyb 2 Keebler, Kellogg, or Sunshine products.

    • brownell22

When you list a coupon and cite it is from a “tearpad”… what is that, and where can I find it?

      • Tear pads are found in various stores. They are usually hanging right on the shelf and you tar off a coupon or two. I find them most often on special displays or end caps. Rarely are they in the regular aisles.

    • Kim

Can anyone tell me if Publix (in Georgia) will take a Harvey's Supermarket coupon. I know they will honor competitors coupons, but I don't think we have Harveys'. Thanks!

      • amywebb

They will take them here in Thomasville!

    • farcoup

What zipcode do we use for the fisher fusion

      • Carrie

    • sbdugger

Just to clarify – I'm about to go to Publix – can I use the q's from the Viva Italia booklet and the $5/20 items in the same transactions? If not, the scenario above is a bit more expensive.

      • wolverinehokie

The poster earlier today (RMD) did not think you could. However, if you're successful, please let us know. I wanted to try handing them the $5 off first, then all the other ones from the booklet.

    • caroline

Where did you find the Green Giant canned veggies tearpad?

    • Anonymous

The Ziploc Zip n’ Steam bags also qualify for the SC Johnson Rebate found here: http://www.scjohnson.com/en/products/coupons.aspx

    • Julie

In Chattanooga TN, I purchased a Boy Scout coupon thingy today (it's a check-sized plastic card & you break off each coupon). It was $5.00 and it has $5.00 off a $50.00 purchase at Publix plus $5.00 off $25 at Ace Hardware and a few other good deals. Even if you don't use anything but the Publix, it's good to support the Boy Scouts if you're going to spend the $5 anyway.

      • ash4usc09

        Where can we get these?

    • Kim

Can anyone tell me whether Publix will accept a coupon from Harveys? I know they will accept competitors but I don't think this grocery store is in GA. Thanks!

      • Marina115

Publix will only take coupons for stores that are near them. So if you have a Harveys next to you, go for it! But if not, they probably won't. I'm the atlanta area so we don't have one here.

    • sbdugger

Which products are included in the Viva Italia Promo? Are all Green Giant veggies, including frozen, or is it just canned?

      • All Green giant canned and frozen!

    • Robin

I went to Publix at Kennerly Crossing in Columbia and the Pillsbury items are NOT on sale. They checked the ad and said no – bummer because I rushed out to use my coupons. They did have the Italian coupons near the front door on a cardboard display.

    • Robin

GGGRRRRRR! I see now in the ad that the store workers were slack because right on the second page of the ad is Pillsbury products listed. I wasted that trip. The store was wrong and said they weren't on sale as I mentioned below.

    • christina

progressobroth.com has a 50 cent coupon. it’s at the top left of main page. click on “save money”.

      • keyrahollmer

        Thank you!! more money saved

      • diannacub

Thanks so much for the link! Even more money saved!!

    • BR

I have been shopping at Publix for a short time, and also got a little confused about the coupon policy, especially since I see so many different policies quoted on these blogs. I spoke with the district manager in my area, and he informed me that most of the time the decisions are up to the store and management. Sometimes its just the fact that cashiers don't know everything they should about us using coupons. And I think we all should be happy with the fact that Publix has such an awesome coupon policy and not get upset when they won't let us double 1 coupon. And as the district manager told me….If you are a regular customer at a store, they will be more willing to help you. So get to know your store and management. If they knew you were going to walk out over your coupons not being doubled, and go to another store, I'm sure they would take them.

    • olivia

Is there any way to still get the new england coffee 1.00 coupon? I could really use it thanks in advance!

    • wendylaine

has anyone had any luck with the viva italia scenario it seems like alot of coupons. do i need to print several of these store coupons or will they use it for the number of that item you have? sorry when i see all that red my haed gets all funny.

      • Briget

I think it depends on your Publix management, but I was able to buy 40 participating items, use store and manufacturer coupons on each item AND use two $5 off 20 items!! Awesome deals!

    • annie9206

The Viva Italia mailer from Publix came today with a $5 off a $30 purchase! Its not just for the Viva Italia items (it only excludes alcohol, lottery tickets, etc.) That works better for me than the $5 off 20 Viva items store coupon.

      • melindaak

I got that too – it ROCKS!

      • Kim

Me too, but if you do the vivia italia one now, you can use that other one next week!

    • kabv3g

Question….can you use Publix $7/2 Enfamil, FL $3/1 Enfamil, and the manufacturer's $2/1 Enfamil all on the same 2 cans and if so do you need 2 of the FL and 2 of the manufacture's coupons to get that off each can? Sorry… new and just trying to figure it all out!

      • Annie9206

You can use them on the same two cans. And yes, you will need two FL and 2 manu Qs if the coupons are just off of one can….but it sounds like a good deal! Wish I knew about couponing when DS2 needed formula! Glad to know for the next one.

you can combine manufacturer/store or manufacturer/competitor, but you can't combine store/competitor — so in this case, your best deal is the $7/2 store and 2-$2/1 manufacturer for $5.50 off each can. if you only have one $2/1 manufacturer coupon, then use the FLIP with it and get $5 off of one can.

      • Kristi

HEre is what I plan to do this afternoon after work:
        Buy 2 cans Enfamil: $50.
        Use 1 $5/$25 Rite Aide
        use 1 $7/2
        Use 2 $5/1 (walgreens)
        Use 2 $2/1 (manuf.)
        Use 2 $4 Enfamil Checks
For a total of $16 for both cans
I do a version of this every time they go on sale and I have never been rejected. I also get a different cashier every time-sometimes kids, sometimes adults.

        • bethany

Awesome, they let you use the Enfamil checks with manufacturer's coupons? (On 2 cans) I tried today to use 1 $7/2 (Publix), 2 $2/1(manuf.) and one Enfamil check. The manager came out and told me that the Enfamil checks are processed as checks by the store, but that it gets processed as a coupon for the customer—-so, he wouldn't let me do it. What store do you go to so I can try it there?

    • Angela

When buying something BOGO and then using a -$1/2 do you have to buy 4 to get the dollar off or does the one you are getting free count? Sorry I am new at this………just trying to figure everything out.

      • concerned mom

@my publix the BOGO means 1/2 price so you just have to buy 2

      • Carrie

BOGO is considered as buying two products even though one of them is free. So you can BOGO and use a $1/2 coupon or use two separate coupons for each item (ex: use two $1/1 coupons).

    • Jenn

FYI: Publix in Crestview, FL is now limiting rain checks to 4 items per RC per visit. I really needed 12 of the GL cat food.

      • 2vics

I'm in Crestview too! Just curious, who told you that? There is always a lady at customer service that isn't very helpful. Last week she gave me a HARD time about even getting a raincheck at all. She is definately not the normal helpful person at Publix!

      • Leah_in_SC

It's cool to see people from Crestview on here…my Mom's family is in Defuniak Springs and my Dad's family is from Fort Walton. I'm in SC now, but I sooo miss that area! Take care! :)

    • dibeedee

Why I LOVE Publix!!!!! I got two $10 GC last week with the American Express prepaid cards, so already I am starting with $10.10 of free Publix purchases (taking into account the $4.95 activation fee for each AE card purchased). Then I got my first mailing with a $5 off $30 Q good until 3/3. Once I add on the $5 Viva Italia promotion & 5% senior discount today, my savings will be super great (& I will have to find room in my little pantry). The only drawback is the headache I will probably have trying to figure out how to work all these good deals, but I will gladly deal with that.

      • jill

Publix gives a 5% senior discount?

        • Amy B.

          On Wednesdays…

This website is so helpful. Almost too good to be true.:]
      Thanks for all you do.

    • annie9206

I had no trouble using the $5/20 items “Viva Italia” coupon with the other coupons on the same items (I know others were saying Publix didn't allow it.) It just all depends on how picky the store/cashier are.

      • anniet1018

Yay! So there's hope! But I'll still be prepared for rejection. My sale doesn't start until tomorrow. Thanks!

    • Renie

      Homewood, AL Publix experience:
Hmmm. I was denied use of the printable Purina Dog Chow coupon available directly off of the Publix website tonight. Last week it was deemed questionable to use the Purina Cat Chow coupon but since I still had the 8 x 11 sheet I cut it from, they sheepishly accepted it. The manager said the coupon says not valid if reproduced but the only place this coupon is available is online. We went through all his weekly flyers but he still said he could not accept it. Anyone else have issues? I've emailed corporate tonight becuase if they are going to have printable coupons on their website, they need to be accepted at their local stores!

      • annaruth

The Publix on Montclair Rd questioned the Purina One dog food coupon I printed on their website also. They did finally accept it, but they kept asking “where did you get this?” Hello, on your website! Very confusing for us!

    • fatti378

Is there any Publix in the Columbia area that still doubles DND coupons? I loved my Gervais St Publix until today – lost $6 – bummer.

      • Gabi

I shop at the Two Notch location, and they do double. You can also try the Rosewood store, they may be closer to you.

      • Amy B.

The Lake Murray one is the best in the area – wouldn't shop anywhere else!!

    • Denise

Rappinni is a type of lettuce, that is more like a gourmet item for most shoppers.

    • Amber

On the deal below, how are you able to use a store coupon $1/4 along with the $5/20 items? Isn't that considered a store coupon too? Please help me figure this out, I want to try this out at the Hardscrabble Publix in Columbia tomorrow. Thanks again and I love your website.
      (10) -.50/2 Progresso Soups SS 1/17, 1/3 (-$10 when doubled)
      (5) -$1/4 Progresso printable (store coupon)
      -$5 off 20 items
Total Due: $2.80 or 14¢ ea

    • My ad starts tomorrow, but I stopped by the store tonight in search of the coupon booklet. The were setting up the italian display and the cardboard display thingy was set up and filled. I got several!! Also there was a large tearpad with $3 of Q's. $1 off Digiorno, $1 off Parmesan cheese and $1/2 Kraft salad dressing. Got several of those as well!!

    • socoupon

I couldn't find the $1/2 Scotch-Brite coupon in my SS 1/31 nor did I see it on the Coupon Variation list – does anyone know where I can find it?

    • ashley4

Does anyone have the zip code for the betty crocker muffin mix? Thank you!

      • meredith

I have used 35242 and 90210–also can get one by signing up at boxtops for education

    • the site is acting odd tonight. Took forever to post my comment.

I can't find this coupon in my January All You. I looked at the index of coupons and it is just not there!

Peter Pan Peanut Butter, 28 oz, $3.00
B2G1 Peter Pan Peanut Butter January All You Mag.

    • ellefink

I looked in the January All You Magazine index and could not find this coupon. Was it in a another month?

Peter Pan Peanut Butter, 28 oz, $3.00
B2G1 Peter Pan Peanut Butter January All You Mag.

    • Donna

This would just be a thought… if I buy
      13 soups at 1.14, 4 bread crumbs and a broth total is 21.07 minus coupons 2.47 making it .12 each. Using (5) $1/4 store, 5 off $20, (2) $1/3, (2) 1.10/3 and (4) 1.10/1 hope that will work.

    • Jonna

I ask my Publix mgr today and she no problem you can combine the 5/20 items with the other coupons as long a all the indicated items are purchase for a total of 20 products

    • michelle

Had a great shopping trip tonight at Publix in Ooletewah and thought I'd share a few deals that weren't listed on SS
Land o Frost lunch meat was on sale for around 3.50, and had a 1.00 peelie it's a better deal at Bi-lo this week, But I was at publix, and not sure I want to run in to bi-lo for just this
64 oz apple juice ( I can't remember the brand, maybe white house?) bogo 2.87 (1.39 ea)

      • BrandyL

There is also a $2/1 printable at http://www.landomoms.com

My store has them on sale for 3.49 so that makes them 49 cents, but if your store takes the Food Lion coupon for $1 off $5 spent in the deli then you get it Free!!

    • Sarah

Just had a great trip! I had a fabulous cashier who not only split my items into 2 transactions and let me do the Viva Italia deal twice, but he also used my penny item coupon on both transactions and used the other store coupons along with my mfg q's! $42 total on $116 (and $20 of that total OOP was on some special ice cream treats for a special occasion – that I didn't have q's for!!!). Got 12 Progresso Soups, 4 Muir Glen, 24 assorted Green Giant veggies (frozen are 10 for $10 and I had q's and they are part of the Italia deal), 2 boxes of crackers, and 4 Coles garlic cheese sticks (this part was only $22).

    • Roriek

Cherokee County GA RP 2/7 flyer has $.50 off the Nestle Dairy creamer! (instead of $1/2) Makes it $.19!

    • Tammy

what store do you find the Viva Italia 5 dollars off 20 items? (for the progresso soup)

    • brantley202078

hi, i have not been able to find the crisco olive oil coupon (printable). has anyone printed it? thx

    • LD

FYI If you go to progressobroth dot com you can click on [top left] save money and get a .50/1 broth coupon . it does state dnd but does start with a 5 . I cant double so doesnt matter either way to me just glad to get a deal on the broth . But this would be a good coupon for the viva 5 off 20 promo and the broth sale.

      • Kim

        Awesome, thanks!

    • cortneyp

The angel soft coupon and the 50/1 and te 95/1 pillsbury are gone and/or expired! :(

    • kmoon

Can someone tell me if the store coupon for pillsbury will work on the swetet rolls? It lists out rolls, squares, breadsticks, pizza crust, crescent and loaf and then says “assorted varieties”

With it all listed out like that will they say because the sweet rolls aren't listed you can't use it??

Appreciate the help, LOVE this site! :)

      • elisa

I bought 2 sweet rolls and 1 pizza dough, used manufacturers q's for each and the $1/3 store coupon. Didn't have a problem.

    • Leah_in_SC

If you go to the clickcallmail website to print the Viva Italia coupons, be sure to also register for the two giveaways…Publix $100 gift cards or $10,000 in groceries. Wouldn't it be awesome to win $10,000 in groceries…just imagine how far we could stretch that with all our q's!!!!!!! :)

      • Kim

That would be like groceries for years!

    • Berry

The Publix on Two Notch does not accept the Harvey Coupons and did not double any of the coupons that say “Do not double”…i swear I used those before and they still doubled those…also they did not take any of the coupons with the Target sign…what a bummer

    • Megan

Great trip in Florida here (despite non-doubling and the rules on BOGOs)

      -2 GG mushroom each free
      -2 GG corn each free
-2 muir glen tomato each free
      -4 boxes pasta .40 each
-3 cans hunts tomato .41 each
      -6 soups .57 each
-2 mac and cheese .59 each
-4 GG frozen veggies .75 each
      -2 classico sauces .80 each
      -1 box cheerios .99
      -4 pillsbury breads 1.13 each

Even the bagger guy was excited about my coupons! :-)

    • kmoon

Classico isn't printing for me on either of my computers! :(

    • Phillis

Publix on Almaville Road,Smyrna would not let me use the $1 off 4 progresso soups and $5 off 20 items Viva Italia coupons in one transaction this morning. Bummer, they say that they are both store coupons. How can I explain to them that it is legitimate to accept both?

    • Shannon

Am I missing something? I have linked through to get the Frosted Mini Wheats and the Green Giant Coupons and can't find them. I feel like this happens a lot. What am I doing wrong?

    • jessheartscoupons

I found a .50/1 Nestle Coffee-Mate Pwd Creamer and a .50/1 Nestle Coffee-Mate Liquid Creamer Qs in RP 2/7 from the Atlanta Journal. When doubled, the price would be $0.19 each!!!

      • jessheartscoupons

Oh, and I just found that Food Lions printable coupons for this week (emailed 2-17) includes a $1/1 Coffee-Mate Dairy Coffee Creamer. FREE plus OVERAGES makes my day!!!!

    • ToddDu

Just got back from 1st trip (pasta and broths are much needed staples at good price)

      4 Progresso Broths
      3 Mueller’s pasta
      2 Progress bread crumbs
      4 Muir Glen
      7 Green Giant veggies
      2 Cheerios
      2 Softsoap

      $1 off 4 Progresso
$1 off 2 green giant corn
      $1 off 2 Muir Glen
2 $1 off Muir Glen printable
      2 $0.35 off Softsoap
      $1 off 2 Cheerios printable

Total OOP was $13.18 (before was $50 something). I couldn’t find (didn’t look hard for) tearpad coupons but going back again shortly for more broth and pasta.

Note that $1.10 of Progresso Panko Bread crumbs are not on sale

    • Pam

Someone else has probably posted a similar message today, but I received in the mail today a great coupon from Publix. Even though it is advertising the Viva Italia sale, it had a coupon for $5 off a $30 purchase. It was for about everything-not limited to the same items on the $5 off of $20.

I am a rule follower and I realize a store can set its own rules. However, as a consumer, if I find a store changes rules or makes it difficult to understand the rules, I live in an area where I can easily do my shopping elsewhere.

It seems to me that Publix advertised in such a way that it looks like you can use all the coupons at the same time. I am really dsappointed that some of you are being tun down when you try to use them.

    • Jess

Why can't you just use the $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon that is posted instead of the $5/$20 Publix one with the $1/4 Progresso q…shouldn't this work? This way there are no products associated with the competitor's coupon and you can still legitimately use the Publix q for $1/4 Progresso.

      • Brooke82

The Publx coupon is $5 off of 20 items. I was planning on using the rite-aid coupon with the $5/20 coupon but I wasn't planning on buying the progresso soups. They are cheaper at Bi-Lo at 10/$10 if you use the .50/2 coupons.

    • Robin

just a little fyi about the Publix in Hwy. 6 in Irmo. The coupon for Emerald Trail Mix is actually Emerald nuts and the cashier had to talk to customer service and after a few minutes of debate, they decided to “let me” use it! Not sure the next person will be as lucky however since nuts aren’t exactly trail mix! Just wanted to give my fellow shoppers a little heads up!

    • Andrea

i'm confused. i clicked on the link for the crisco printable coupon and looked through all the coupons on coupons . com which is where it took me and didn't find it. i've done this before too. any idea why these coupons don't always show up?? or where to find them?

    • Brooke82

Is the $5/20 items coupon for any 20 items or specific items? Also, can I use the Rite-Aid $5/$25 coupon with the publix $5 off coupon?? Thanks!

      • Norma

I made one trip this morning and didn't have a problem using both the $5/20 items and the $1/4 Publix coupons for Progresso soup as well as MQ. When I went back with my mom, it was a no go and they said she could only use one Publix coupon.

        • LD

Was it the same cashier or the same Publix ? I really wish they would get a memo on this promo . I would like to know before I go how much it will all cost. I really need to budget down to the last $ these days.

          • Norma

It was a different cashier. Maybe that was my mistake or buying such a large quantity :) I had a lot of Progresso coupons and my cart was full of soup, veggies, tomatoes–$165 worth before coupons. The exp. date is in 2012 so there's plenty of time to use it up. Maybe I'll go on a soup diet. lol

    • TONJA

      • LD

I did not find it in mine either . I am in North FL .

      • Amy B.

You can change the resolution on your screen by right clicking on the desktop – choose properties, display settings… change the resolution down (like 800×600) and it will make everything appear larger. You can also hold down CTRL and press plus plus (++) to zoom in. Hope that helps… Caps drive me nuts :)!!

Help! What zip code for the fisher fusion snack mix & the simply asia sauce mix

      • jarrodbryson

        30605 worked for the Fisher.

        Could not locate the Asia or Crisco Olive Oil (I tried 90210, 65498, 10119, 30605, 32309, 30605, and 40022)

    • Kelly

Wow, all of this drama over the $1/4 Progresso soups….just wait until Sunday when the manufacturer coupon comes out in the newspaper!:)

      • The $1/4 coupon is a STORE coupon which can be stacked WITH that manufacturer coupon. Thus, making it a much better deal.

    • heather

I cant get the progressive soup coupon what zip code should i use?

If I were to buy 4 Pedialyte at $5.29ea, can I do this deal? (2)$3.00 Publix store coupons in the green advantage flyer
(2)BOGO mfg-internet printable (for the free one)
(2)$1.50 mfg-internet printable (for the one I'm buying)

Making all 4 bottles for $1.58

      • itismedia

        Yep! You sure can!

      • Andrea

can you please tell me where the 1.50 printable for the pedialyte is?? Thanks!

    • 3monkeysmom

FYI: I found a flyer called Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids at Publix. Has some really good store coupons. .55 off a box of Smucker's Crustables, these are on sale for $2. Makes them .45 a box if you use this and the $1 q from the link.

    • clevelander

WHY can't I print from the Lysol site????? I have windows 7

    • Alicia

Cashier at Publix on Two Notch Road in Columbia suppressed my coupons to keep them from doubling! Coupon says “do not double” but the system usually doubles them anyway. This is the first time a cashier actually overrode them to keep them from doubling. Makes a big difference in how much you save, so you might not want to count on getting them doubled if the q says not to double.

    • monette

Found $1/1 Softsoap Liquid Hand soap coupon inside March 2010 First for Women Mag.

    • tarabj

There is a -$1.00 Coffeemate Food Lion coupon that will give you overage.

      • Emily

Some RP 2/7 inserts had $0.50/1 which combined w/ a Food Lion coupon would make for GREAT overage, especially if your PUblix will allow 2 of the Food Lion coupons.

    • Summer

How do you get the $5 off 20 coupon?

      • Jenny posted a link for it on this site OR you can ask for/look for the blue coupon booklet at your store.

    • Meredith

Had a great trip to Publix today–Lee Branch in Bham. spent $85 saved $248. I was able to use both the $1/4 and the $5 off 20 items–with no problem. Also found Sunny D BOGO $1.99–used my .25 off and got them for .50 each.

      • Claire Bear

I LOVE that publix! Do you know if they will also let you use the $5/$30 coupon that came in the mail yesterday? I'm assuming it depends on the cashier (I know who to avoid, lol ::cough cough lady with the accent cough cough::) but that would make for some awesome savings.

        • Yes, you can use the $5 off $30 along with the other store Q's.

      • Carrie

Where can the Sunny D Qs be found?

    • Erin

Rapini is a member of the broccoli family and has a bitter taste to it. Saute it in a little olive oil, salt and pepper, and it is delicious! Very high in fiber and so good when added to a little roasted garlic!

    • Cynthia

A link for the $5 off 20 publix italian coupon is avail at his site…. here

    • Mary~ Florida

I went and bought the minute made juices. I got 2 for 2.59 its a great deal if you have small kids!!! I bought 4. I will be going back for more!

    • Kim

      Where can I get a $5 for 20 coupon?

    • itismedia

Rappini is another name for Broccoli Rabb. It is a part of the turnip family which is why it has more of a bitter taste. You eat the stalks and the yellow flowery parts. Really good sauted in olive oil and garlic and served with pasta. Nice change up. I learned about it a few years ago. Once a month the kids and I pick a fruit or vegetable to try and then look up what it is, how to prepare it, etc…we have tried some really gross stuff, but we have also discovered some really yummy stuff too!

    • Jenn

What zip code for the Simply Asia q? Anyone?

    • Debra

Question? Do you have to have the same number of store and manufacturers coupons to do the Italian special this week?

    • selinaj

Planning to do my shopping tomorrow morning at the Dallas New Hope Publix…anyone tried the $5/20 coupons combined with the other store coupons yet? After reading all these comments about difficulties with combining coupons, I'm worried..

    • Anonymous

Check out Rapini here: It has a strong flavor that leans towards turnips. Does not taste like broccoli! The cooking instructions given are good. You can also add a little bacon like you would to turnip greens.

    • Rebecca M.

The Publix on Forest Drive (Cola SC) did not have CoffeeMate on sale. :-(

    • Kerri

Can someone explain if I can use a the Publix Baby Club $5 off Pampers coupon, with the $2.00 Publix in ad coupon and a $1 off Target coupon together??

Same with the Enfamil, can I use a Publix, a Food Lion, and a Manufacturer coupon together?

And, 1 more question, sorry! Can I use a B1 package of Huggies G1 package of Huggies wipes free (publix Baby club coupon) with the Huggies Publix in ad coupon, a target coupon, and a Food lion coupon?
I'm new to this and soooo confused!
Thank you to anyone who can help!!!!!

      • mandy

Hi! Yes, you can use a publix coupon + a Manufacturers coupon + a competitors coupon, all on the same item. Not sure about the B1G1 Huggies since that would be using 2 Publix coupons. Anyone else know?? Can you use a publix ad coupon & a baby club coupon together?

        • Jennifer

You can use a Publix OR competitor AND a manufacturers coupon on one item. You cannot use a Publix ad coupon and a baby club coupon together since both are store coupons. Same goes for the Publix & competitor… they are both considered store coupons. I hope this helps.

      • jessheartscoupons

It depends on your store and your cashier. Sometimes they won't take a competitor's Q and a store Q for the same one item b/c they are both “store” Qs. if I were you, I would ask in the store. Just make sure you give the cashier the highest value coupons to scan first so if it doesn't work you will still have saved the most amt possible.

      • You can only use a Publix coupon OR a competitor Q. BUT, I CAN USE A BABY CLUB, A MANUFACTURER AND A SALE AD Q ALL ON THE SAME ITEM. I asked the maanager and she said yes. The sale ad is a special Q. Ask you mgr when you get to the store.jj I asked “can I use a baby club Q and the sale ad Q for diapers”? Stacking the regular Q, the sale ad q and the baby club Q makes for 2 boxes of huggies costing what one box would cost normally!

    • celestew25

There are Prevacid coupons on the manufacturer's website for -$6/ 14-28pk and -$10/ 42pk. The 28 pk was 19.99 on sale at Publix. The 14 pk was 11.99. I use two $6 on the 14pks getting it for 2 dollars cheaper than using the one $6 on a 28pk. However I was told rudely by the cashier that they just had a meeting and PUBLIX NO LONGER ACCEPTS ANY COUPONS over $5 off. The bagger ran and asked the manager and they made a one time exception since they just changed the rule. But for all you that don't know about it…if you have a coupon that is more than $5/off anything…they won't take it.

      • kkmarie

Publix doesn't accept printable coupons over $5 due to the many fraudulent coupons. That isn't a new policy. I've worked at Publix for 3 years and that has always been the policy.

    • Mylexis

Just wanted to let some people know that, Publix in St. Augustine, Florida does not accept Harveys coupons anymore.

    • Emily

It was working yesterday but when I went to print it from my other computer this morning I got the same error message. If you can't get the coupon to print there is a new publix mag at the store that has a 55 cents coupon. I know it is not as great of a deal but I suppose it is better that nothing.

    • Cara

Just went to a Publix here in Jacksonville, FL and they do not have the coupon book or the buy 20 get $5 off. So heads up if you live here and you are looking for the coupon booklet. I even spoke to the manager and she didn't know of it.

      • mandy

        Hi, Cara
I also live in Jax, Fl. Did u try printing the coupons from the link below that Cynthia left? I see the coupons there, but wondering if they will accept a printed version.

        • Kim

They asked me about mine that printed in black and white tonight to see if they were photocopied. I told them I just printed them in black and white and they were ok with it.

    • martha74

I don't see any green giant coupons available to print.

    • thinkgreen08

I just returned from shopping at the Hixson, TN Publix and I really racked up this week. Upon entering the store I asked them questions about the Viva Italia coupons just to make sure they would accept multiples and they would combine the $5 off offer with the other coupons. They called a manager and he said that would be fine. So I was on my way. I found everything I wanted which is rare and even encountered several limit signs on items I had planned to buy many more of but in the end it was a great trip. I spent $186.16 and saved $270.34. I'm sure I could have done a little bit better but I went ahead and bought $20.00 worth of chicken and a good bit of produce. I was very happy with the result. My publix store let me use 4 of the $5.00/20 items coupons since I had 83 qualifying items.

******Publix changing coupon policy again in my area*****

I was just told (Nashville store) that soon couponers will not be able to use u-scans. Everyone with coupons will have to go thru a clerks line. There goes double couponing……bummer….

    • JEB

I was not too excited about Publix or Bilo sale this week, but I think this Food Lion sale was good. I saved more than I spent. Smithfield pork tenderloins are BOGO in the store, but not in the ad, so that was a nice surprise. The price on Princess Spaghettios is .75 cents now…think they lowered some prices for real like they advertised. They are .88 cents at Walmart. Valentine princess and the frog and Disney Princess window clings are 50% off. Plus the new Lexington FL by Steinmart has the little shopping carts for my 3 year old to push! She loved it and made the trip easier. They were out of the Libby Canned veggies for .39 cents, but I got rain checks.

Got 2 Blue Bunny ice cream for .88 each with coupon
4 Healthy Choice soups for $3 with coupon
      2 spaghettios for .75 each
      1 Tostitos for $2
1 frozen bag of chicken breasts for $6.50
2 smithfield teriyaki pork tenderloins for $7.99 with coupon
four 2 liter cokes for .85 each
1 boneless chuck roast for about $4
1 Princess and Frog window cling for .99 cents

    • kathy40

wanted to share: publix has coupon for kotex tampons 18ct bogo and there's a manufacter coupon for $1.50 off of 2, so it made it 85 cents a box!!

      • I used the $2 coupon, the Publix BOGO coupon and the 75 cent store coupon(expired 2/13) and paid 75 cents for both boxes. I had the right coupons to do this deal twice before that other store Q expired. SUPER deal!!

    • mparfaite

Did some purchases at publix today and bought the Betty crocker muffin mixes. However, the coupons didn't double. I asked someone in customer service and they said if the coupon specifically says don't double then they don't double it.

    • savannah11

love this website,I went to Publix today and saved more than I spent, however I live in Woodstock Ga and my local store will not take Food Lion or Harvey's coupons.

      Broccoli Raab: Rappini
Until recently, this aggressive green was enjoyed primarily in Asian and Italian cultures. Broccoli raab is also confusingly known as broccoli rabe or broccoli rape, rapini, rappini, Italian turnip and flowering Chinese cabbage. This versatile vegetable has become more widely consumed and available, due mainly to the ever-growing interest in Italian cuisine and the increased sophistication of the American palate.

What is broccoli raab? More closely related to turnips than broccoli, broccoli raab has long, thin, leafy stalks topped with small florets. Prized for its full flavor, it packs a slightly bitter, yet pleasant and mustardy punch. Available year around, except mid summer, broccoli raab’s prime season is fall through early spring.

Nutritional value. Broccoli raab is an excellent source of vitamins A and C and is high in calcium and iron. One cup of cooked broccoli raab contains only approximately 40 calories.
Selecting fresh broccoli raab. Look for firm, green, slender stems topped with tight florets and only a few open flowers. Avoid bunches that are yellowing or are too dry. Sniff the broccoli raab as it should not have an overpowering strong cabbage smell. The bottom cut stem should be green and smooth.

Storing fresh broccoli raab. Untie the bunched stalks and store unwashed in a plastic bag or wrap in moist paper towel, for up to three days in the high moisture vegetable drawer of the refrigerator. Due not store with fruit as ethylene gas released from fruit, can cause yellowing and accelerate decay.

General uses. Too harsh and fibrous to serve raw, broccoli raab can be steamed, boiled, stir-fried, sautéed, micro waved and braised, all yielding different textures. Blanching in salted water and shocking in ice water before cooking removes some of the bitterness. Broccoli raab can be served hot or cold and stands up well to full flavors like garlic, ginger and vinegar. Italian chefs generally pair broccoli raab with other ingredients such as pasta and potatoes to make a formidable side dish. Added to soups, broccoli raab adds body and flavor. Try blanching broccoli raab and adding to salads for an interesting and colorful addition.

Preparation. Trim stems at the base, as the whole stalk is edible. Use the stalk whole or cut into pieces. Wash in several changes of water, gently swish and lift out the stalks so the sand settles to the bottom.

Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59 ($1.29)
-.50/1 off Betty Crocker Muffin Mix printable or printable or printable (makes it 29¢)

      • itismedia

Summer, everywhere, except Florida, doubles coupons up to .50 and the BOGO items ring up half off. Florida does not double and you have to buy 2 to get the deal. Using your example here is how it works in both places.

1 Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59
1 Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, FREE
-.50/1 off Betty Crocker Muffin Mix printable or printable or printable (for the one your paying for)
        OOP 2.09 (1.05 each)

        Everywhere else:
1 Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59 ( will ring up for $1.29)
-.50/1 off Betty Crocker Muffin Mix printable or printable or printable
        – 50/1 doubled
        OOP .29
or you can buy 2 and use 2 coupons – OOP .58 (,29 each)

        • craigplussix

I am in Florida and I am able to use one coupon per item on the BOGO items. That would make the Betty Crocker Muffin Mix 1.59 for two (or 80 cents each) We don't double, but we are able to still use one per item. I've gone to many Publix in my area and never had a problem with that, and trust me, I've had cashiers go through my items and coupons one thing at a time!

        • Summer

Got it!! So lots of the LOW prices I see here are because of Coupons are doubled.. Right? So.. If I purchase the B1G1 Muffin mix, I will use 2- 50 cent coupon and pay 80 cents a piece..

          • blang4d

I'm in FL and we use a coupon for each item for BOGO's.

          • LD

blan I am in Florida also and I use 2 coupons for B1G1 too. at publix my recipt looks like this

1 Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59
1 Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59
            – 1 Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, $2.59
            -50 coupon
            -50 coupon =1.59 total
so on the Classico pasta sauce that was B1G1 free this week I used the B1 alfredo get one sauce free. I got all 12 jars free ! this is the only time the no doubles pays off, if it is a B1G1 sale with a B1G1 coupon

          • itismedia

Yes, Jenny goes ahead and doubles the coupons, because she is in an area that doubles as is most of the South. I also stand corrected. Florida, even though one item is free, you may still use a coupon with that item. Thats awesome!

        • blan4d

I'm in FL and we use a coupon for each item for BOGO's.

    • Robin0007

I have a question. Can I buy 4 Coles bread and use four .50 coupons all together in one transaction? I am in Nashville So I hope they double them. I have Never been to a Publix b4. On the coupon it says Limit one coupon per item purchases. Does that mean that i can use all four. I am so new to all of this and i dont want to make a big scene at the store! Thanks

      • Kim

I have never had a problem, here in Alabama. I use one per item.

      • Yep!

    • Elisa

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but there is a $1/1 and a $2/2 for Kellog's Mini Wheats Little Bites. These are included in the BOGO at my Publix (Duncan). I bought 3 of the little bites using the coupons mentioned above and 2 of the regular mini wheats using the $1.50/2. I was even more pleased to discover when I got home that I can get a free dvd with the 5 tokens on the boxes!

    • KW

At the Publix in Goose Creek, SC, the cashier told me that they will no longer accept any Harvey's coupons (nearest Harvey's is in Virginia)…..and you cannot stack three coupons any longer – only two per item. You can still use Rite Aid ($5 off $20) as they have a pharmacy and consider Rite Aid a competitor. She said this will be coming down from corporate and coupon policy will be consistent from store to store. They are really cracking down — some people are abusing coupon use somehow. It really only takes a few to ruin it for everyone else :-(

      • cindi

I shop in Goose Creek too and I have to say I never thought about trying to use a Harvey's coupon. I have never heard of it, so I would never consider them a competitor for Goose Creek Publix. …. I don't think they should take them, or should have ever taken them if they did.

        • Brooke82

Same here. I didn't think they took them at all in the first place.

    • BrandyL

1lb packs of Land o Frost lunch meat is on sale for $3.49 right now. There is a $2/1 printable at http://www.landomoms.com/ and there is also a $1/1 peelie on the packages. That makes each pack 49 cents, but if your store takes the FLIPS, then you can get it free if you also use the $1 off $5 Deli coupon.

      • kkmarie

The FLIP shouldn't work. At Publix, Land O' Frost is part of the Meat Department.

    • aimee

I just ran out of color ink. Is it fine to print in b&w or must it be color? Does anyone know if Publix has a policy on this?

      • Mary Ann

Black and white is fine. I have a laser printer and have never printed in cover. No one has ever said anything about my black and white coupons.

    • Wanda M

Has everyone received their Free Oreo Cookie coupon? I haven't yet. I'm in SC. Please let me know.

      • jackson41987

I got mine several weeks ago and the kids have already eaten them. Hope you get it soon.

      • Got mine last week – they actually sent me two!

      • Suemh

Got mine abou 3 weeks ago. I'm in SC also. It was in a plain-looking envelope.

    • nikki

I'm sorry if this has been posted, but I don't have time to read through all 5000 comments. Has anyone been able to print the coupons from the publix site? They print so tiny that you can't even read them.

      • They have worked for us and a few others!

    • Five-O Wife

Thanks for the great plan! I got $116 worth of groceries for $52 during my trip to Publix today. Yay!

    • centralfl

On the viva Italia coupons, the one for the $1.00 off 2 cans of specialty corn, the corn pictures is on sale for B1G1 at my Publix for $0.85! That's an overage of 15 cents per 2 cans….

    • joyfullysaving

Jenny, I found this link for a coupon for yoplait $1/8. I was watching a tv show on ABC online and it was the ad. I hope it works.

    • Jennifer

The Viva Italian coupons can be found on http://www.clickcallmail.com Sign in to get the $5 off coupon.

      • Tracie

Do anyone know if you can use the $5 off w/y/b $30 of groceries with theViva Italia $5 off 20 items store coupon?

      • Suemh

I was ableto print the 4 store coupons but did not see a 5/20.

    • Suemh

Hi. I am curious. I drove over 60 miles round-trip this morning to get the Charlotte Observer in hopes of having all of the coupons that were posted. I have only looked through the SS, but I do not have them all. I was thinking that maybe it was because I went to a small town about 40 miles from Charlotte and maybe they do not have the same coupons. The outside of the paper said “$193 in coupons inside”. If there is anyone here who gets the Charlotte Observer from the immediate Charlotte area, would you please tell me what yours said. I need to figure out if it is worth it for me to make this drive. I normally drive about 28 miles to get the Greenville News. I will be watching for the Greenville news variations to see if they are the same as what I got. Thanks for any help.

    • crystalfawn

Can anyone help me find the crisco oil coupon. I followed the link but cannot find it. Is it possible that it is not available in my Florida zipcode of 32779? Thanks!!!

    • Andrea

thanks to whoever posted the pedialyte deal using the bogos, the 1.50 off the other two and the 3.00 off publix coupons. i bought 4 for about 1.68. awesome deal. thanks for the idea. at first they weren't going to let me use the coupons and i was still going to do the deal. as i was walking to the car, the same lady chased me down and handed me the 3.00 for my two 1.50 coupons and said she was wrong. i love publix!!! they are so awesome.

    • I printed a $1/2 coupon at Classico.com . We had no Classico coupons in the Daytona News-Journal for 1/10/10

    • Not only did my Gainesville Dawsonville HWY Publix take my Progressive bread crumbs coupons they gave me the full 1.10 off on both containers!

    • kelly1369

Does anyone know where to find the uncrustables in the ad? My publix is out of them and I want to get a raincheck but I can't find them in the ad. I have to go back because my milk is leaking and was hoping to get a raincheck when I go back!

      • crystalfawn

        Hi Kelly,
The uncrustables are an advantage buy. You will find the ad in the Publix Spindle where they keep recipes and advantage buy ads. It is titled Sweet Savings and is on the first inside page. That ad states Smuckers Uncrustable 4 pack 3 for $6.00 your choice of flavors. The sale runs through March 5, 2010

        • kelly1369

          Thank you!

    • MRE

      • The coupons are actually housed on a joint venture site between Publix and General Mills. If you call corporate they will instruct your store manager that they are okay :)

My Publix in central florida has 6/$2.00 Hunts tomato sauce. Use 2 of the printable $1.00 off 3 Hunt’s Products coupon and they are FREE. Only problem is you have to go through all the nonsense on the conagra site but still FREE is FREE :-) http://www.recessionpayback.com/?WT.mc_id=CAG_Oct09_Recession_SMP2614&WT.mc_ev=click#/select

      Viva Italia Money Maker:
      3 Pillsbury Crescents =$5 – 3 $.5/1 IP (doubles) – $1/3 Publix Viva = $1
      2 Muir Glen =$3 – 2 $1/1 IP – $1/2 Publix Viva = free
      4 Progresso Broth =$5.18 – 4 $.5/1 IP (doubles) – $1/4 Publix Viva = $0.18
      2 Green Giant Canned Corn = $1.29 – $1/2 Publix Viva = $0.29
      4 Green Giant Frozen Boxed = $4 – 4 $.5/1 IP (doubles) = free
      4 Green Giant Frozen Boxed = $4 – 2 $.5/2 IP (doubles) = $2
      1 Totinos Pizza = $1

      Total = $4.47 – $5 off 20 items Publix Viva = $.53 overage (tax not included)

I assumed that everyone has access to two computers and hasn't printed the above coupons yet. Good luck!

    • CWC

I went to Publix with all my coupons and list for the first time today and saved 57%. I didnt have any problems with my coupons. Thanks for all of the great help and advice.

    • Jodi

Went to Publix today and was very pleased! I got $84.15 worth of groceries for $26.22! Bought a few things off the list that I needed and still saved a lot! They took all of my coupons, and I had a $5 off $30 purchase as well as the $5 off if you buy 20 of the General Mills coupon and I used all the store coupons too! Loving my Publix today!

    • emilyinalabama

I am EXTREMELY overwhelmed at where to start?!? I really dont have any of these stores except the drug stores in my area. Publix and Kroger are within 30 min drive of me, But I do have a Piggly Wiggly of Alabama right down the road, and they double coupons up to .90, but I hate their produce( not very fresh, Walmart has put all our “Good” grocery stores we had out of business:( But they do price matching and do it cheerfully. So would my best bet as far as store to go shopping at be at walmart and use the price match in conjunction with my coupons?

And my other question is HOW should I start, Im seriously overwhelmed here. I NEED to do this, we struggle to provide enough groceries for our house as it is, so this would be an EXTREME help to master. The corrolating sales between stores and who has the best price and such is overwhelming…I cant watch the videos for some reason..its my computer, not the vid. and Ive read through it all.ANY tips and guidance would be GREAT!

      • wolverinehokie

My advice would be to take your time with it. The first couple weeks we tried this we missed some things or didn't get as good a deal as we should, but we kept with it and had an amazing trip this weekend.

Make sure you get a copy of your Publix add and your Kroger add. They usually appear in the Sunday paper. You can circle the deals you're interested in.

Look at Jenny's lists for Publix and Kroger, but skip the B1G1 since Walmart will not match those. Kroger has some great deals though so figure out which ones you'd want to do. Then match the deals with your coupons and take it to Walmart.

Be patient and don't get flustered is what my husband keeps telling me.

      • Anonymous

Emily, if you would like to e-mail me at itismedia@hotmail.com I will be glad to communicate back and forth and help you get started. I have been doing this for years and have a few other people I am helping. Just put in your subject line who you are so I will not junk mail you! =+) All of us couponers have to stick together!
It can seem overwhelming at first, but you will get into a groove quickly. The better you get, the more you save…
Hope to hear from you soon,

    • MRE

      • learningtobefrugal

Thanks, I was going to do that. If the manager had told me that I probably wouldn't have gone back (from embarassment).

      • Leah_in_SC

I used the printed q's at my store and had no issues. They come from a Publix sponsored site, so how can Publix not accept them? That's crazy!!! If they didn't expect people to use them, they would not have made them available, or would have marked them in some way to make them unusable if printed. I'm sorry your store would not accept them.

        • john

I used the pdf version of the 5 off 20 at Columbia Publix – the cashier was fine with it – she is a southernsaver user as well!

    • emilyinalabama

Heres what Ive come up for my first try at this. my plan is to go to publix when I pick my husband up from work tommorrow to make the most of this unusual trip to this town where the closest store is.
my list is 4 classico sauces, 6 muellers pastas, 4 lysol AP cleaner, 2 pillsbury sweet rolls & 2 cresent rolls, 3 okios yogurts, 2-4pks of uncrustables. I have 2 of the 1/off2 classico prntbls, 2- $1/3 muellers pastas prntbls, 4-.50/1 lysol prntbls,2-.40/2 pillsburys coupons and $1/3 viva italia booklet. Which if Im right would mean that Ill come out spending 19.45 with coupons when it should have been 27.32. That doesnt seem like that much of a huge savings to me…am Im doing this right?

      After coupons each will be
      classicos-.74 ea
      muellers-.53 ea
      cleaner-1.09 ea
      pillsburys-1.22 ea
      yogurt-.69 ea
      uncrustables-1.00 ea

Looks like the pillsbury is whats going to cost me so much, should I wait on these till they are cheaper…its not something that I usually buy anyways …

      • Suemh

Jenny lists 50¢ off one cresent rolls, which would double, and 95¢ off one sweet rolls. Do you not have these?

      • Suemh

It also looks as if you are not doubling your Lysol Q's, assuming your area doubles. It does not look like you have enough participating items to use the $5 off 20 Italia coupon.

      • crystalfawn

Emily, There is a $1.00 off manufacturers coupon for the uncrustables and a Publix store coupon for $.55 cents bringing the cost down to $.45 cents total cost. The manufacturers coupon can be found online. The store coupon is in their Healthy Meals Healthy Kids booklet. I live in Florida and got my booklet in the Sunday paper. These 2 coupons are paired together in order to get you that great .45 cent price. Our Florida stores do not double.

    • learningtobefrugal

Can I use a FLIP and a price match from Walgreens on an item?

      • Your store won't price match unless you are heading to Target or Walmart they are the only stores that do that. Sorry.

    • Christy

Can't find this $5 off 20 items Viva Italia coupon. Where is it?

      • wolverinehokie

There should be a Viva Italia stand. The booklets are small and blue (post card size).

    • wolverinehokie

We had a great shopping day yesterday. We started off by buying 10 Excedrin for $5 and getting $20 RR. Then we took our RR to Publix. Our “you saved” at Publix was $144.46 after turning in the RR. The remaining balance was $15.06 which we paid for using our Publix gift cards from doing the Amex deal last week. We didn't even have a $5 off $30 coupon, just the $5 off 20 items.

This site is a life changer. Thank you so much!

    • Amanda

I am new here…tried to get the Hunt's Sauce printable (play game) coupon. Played the game and clicked print coupon then didn't get a coupon. Tried again then there was no button to click for print coupon after I played the second time. Anyone have suggestions? Also going shopping today at my Publix in Summerville, SC I am nervous as a first timer with all the problems listed below with Publix.

Your pop-up blocker must be the problem. Try turning it off first.

    • alison

Hi Jenny, where is the $5 off $20 coupon? thanks for everything!

    • Linda Ward

Just wanted to say that I am a mother of nine and went to Publix and brought @ $300.00 worth of food and paid $90.00. I went to Winn Dixie and brought $200.00 of meat for 100.00. This was a great week for our household! Pembroke Pines, Fl

Great job Linda!! Hope to see you in April!!

The Publix in Ooltewah, TN has an Instore B1G1 on the Toll House Cookie Dough.

I think I may come across sounding like a toddler, but I am sick and tired of going into Publix and not being able to find any of the coupon booklets. They keep the turning display with the green and yellow flyers, the sales flyers, coupons, mags, etc…in the buggy area. I went by today to get my flyers and coupon booklets, BEFORE making my trip because of what happened today always happens. I went in and as soon as you walk in the Viva Italian display is set up and all I can find is the entry forms. I asked at CS and she gave me the last coupon book. Mind you the display wasn't there 2 days ago. I asked her what happened and she said two women came in and each grabbed handfuls and walked out.
It REALLY REALLY annoys me when I do the right thing and never take more than two of any coupon, but others just don't think twice about hogging them all. Last week I was at Target and wanted to buy more soft soap refills. They were 2.49 and had 2.00 off coupons on them. Someone had come in and taken every coupon off of every package. You could still see the shiny square where they were suppose to be.
If you are one of these people that grab all of the coupons or take them off of packages without buying the item PLEASE STOP. It is a lot more satisying when your saving a lot of money WITHOUT cheating!

      • melissa

I've had the same problem and I agree with you. It's not fair to others who are in more need of the savings. Especially when I drive a good distance to get to the store.

        • itismedia

I am not even saying I am in MORE need, just equal need.

        • Carol

I am an associate at a Publix store in middle TN and I can tell you it is VERY frustrating to everyone involved when a few greedy people ruin all the coupon deals for the rest of us. I coupon every week and I hate the fact that “coupon mamas” are getting a bad rep because some people won't be fair. I was told by management that we got 100 copies of the “Game Day” coupon booklet and one lady took 75 of them! We believe she is selling these coupons on Ebay.

          • itismedia

Carol, that would explain why I didn't get that booklet either. I figure that is what these ladies are doing too. I mean it is one coupon per purchase so how can they use that many 5.00/20.00 coupons?
All these booklets that Jenny has listed out lately…..haven't seen any of them!

            • Brooke82

I never even use the coupon booklets but that sounds crazy. People need to be less greedy and share with others. I don't understand why people have the urge to hoard and I never will.

            • itismedia

haha I don't get to very often! =+)

      • foxfunds

That is exactly why our Publix has stopped putting the peelies on products, the flyers in the bins, and the tearpads in the store. If you want coupons – you stop at customer service and ask for them. That has made all the difference in the world. And the fact that I now know all of them by name and they know me helps too – nothing like a smile and a “how's your day going” when I go out to shop at local stores.
Maybe you could make a suggestion to customer service and tell them that other Publix stores have started doing this as well. Sorry you are having such a hard time – it's not right.

        • itismedia

That is a great idea. I will suggest it tomorrow when I go into shop. Like you I know many of the cashiers, CS, baggers, stockers and managers and you are right, it makes things so much nicer. I would have no problem at all stopping and getting whatever is out at the moment. I was lucky enough to get that one last Viva pamplet from CS, but I haven't even seen the others.

      • nuworldchick

I have to agree with your comments. I have yet to find either of the two booklets that have come out recently. However, I think it should be up to each Publix to make sure that it can keep up with the consumer demand.Maybe the answer is to only put up a limited amount of coupons and then restock as needed…with a limit. This is the stores responsibility.. and if they run out then I feel they need to honor whatever coupons that are not there that I can not find(.price-wise), by modifying the price.

        • lovincoupons

I am a CS manager for Publix as well as a self-proclaimed couponer/deal-a-holic. Just to clarify: The coupon booklets that we put out (both maufacturer and store coupons) are limited in the number we receive. Part of the deal we make to get the companies to partner & make a coupon, is to DISPLAY them. We hate it when a few greedy apples steal from the whole bunch… but we have to do our part by putting out the display.
We DO NOT receive rebates or credits on modifying the price of an item, only on coupons for items. We DO NOT receive credits or rebates on competitor coupons (they are trash to us, we are trying to keep you from going to said competitors). If you think it's a hassle to not find coupons at your store… imagine being the people who has to explain to you why we have none 2 days into the ad!!! Yikes! And then get a complaint to corporate that we can't manage our inventory… And yes, while a complaint to corporate will get an issue resolved… it will be handled by the same people that you just left… you can call the number on your receipt and get quicker resolution, as well as the managers not having to wait 2 days to find out the associates/other mgrs treated you poorly. Sorry to rant… but we do try really hard to ensure it is “Where Shopping Is A Pleasure”… because we shop here too :)

          • itismedia

Lovincoupons, I just want to say that I do not hold my Publix responsible for the problem. I hold the greedy people that are probably selling them on E-Bay responsible or the people that are afraid there wont be any so they grab tons only to throw them out a couple of weeks later when they expire. I wish I knew the answer to the problem, I guess I could go to Publix everyday…oh wait, I have too many kids and too much schoolwork to do that! =+)
Thanks for everything Publix does. the Managers at my store are awesome.

          • Brooke82

Publix is more generous than I thought! I never realized the stores didn't get reimbursed for competitor coupons. Now that I actually think about it, it makes sense. I love Publix even more now!

LAKE ELLA PUBLIX TALLAHASSEE – I tried to buy 10 cans of Muir Tomatoes with 5 Viva Italia $1 off 2 Muir products, and the neither the cashier nor the manager would let me use more than one of them.

    • Carolin

HELP!!! Pet coupon question. I'm printing out the publix pet coupon for the Purina One and the coupon is vey small. It's so small that you can't read the LU# for the cashie to use. I'm wonderig if this is normal. Thanks!

      • pharmSCgirl

I noticed that someone else had this same problem and the manager accused her of coupon fraud b/c she said that she photocopied it. I bought this tonight but I found the actual flier where the sales ads are located. I'm not sure how to fix it to where it will print the normal size. Sorry.

      Thanks Jenny! :)

Cumming, GA Keith Bridge Road. I got really frustrated at my nearby Publix last night as I had prepared my list and coupons for the Viva Itala promotion. I put all 20 items together for the cashier to scan first and informed her that I had the $5 of 20 items and she thanked me, she then proceeded to scan all the items and after she had them all scanned she informed that I could not use the $1/4 or $1/2 in conjuction with the $5/20 as both were store coupons. Would have been nice if she had of mentioned this before she went through all the trouble of scanning the items as I politely told here that I did not want any of those items and to just void the transaction. She also suppressed 2 .50 DND coupons which they have never done before. Looks like I will have to travel a little further to go to a more coupon friendly publix.

      • Nicki

The Publix on Buford Hwy and Trammel Rd is great about taking coupons.

        • Jessthere

Although I have lived in the area for a year now, I have only just started venturing outside my immediate area and shopped at the one on Buford Hwy (is this called Cruise Marketplace?) and GA 400 store both off exit 14 and both have taken all my coupons including competitors like CVS $5/20. If it is Cruise Marketplace you are referring to the manager there one time even let me use coupons from a prior weeks sale that the Keith Bridge Road Publix said they were fraudulant. Crazy that just a few more miles makes a difference in how the stores treat couponers.

          • nikiben

Yes that is the one I shop at and they are all super nice there. So glad they took your coupons. My sister in law actually had the Target near at Marketplace tell her that they coupons she had were scanned!! Just because they were black and white. THAT was unbelievable too.

      • nikiben

I just looked at my coupons and at the bottom it only states “one purchase per coupon per customer.” All of those coupons were designed to be used together. Or am interpreting it incorrectly…

      • Jessthere

I forgot to mention that the cashier let me know about not using the store coupons together BEFORE she looked at even the first coupon I had to hand to her.

    • cmentillo

Thank you, thank you!!! I saved $90 today and only spent $77! That’s an awesome shopping day in my book. :)

I also wanted to add that you can find coupons on the Johnsons and Johnsons website. http://johnsonsbaby.com/special-offers-expanded.jsp I had the $3 of 3 coupons and needed 3 of each lotion and shampoo (lots of baby showers coming up). You can only print 2 coupons from the links you have but I went to the site to see if they had some and they do and you can print a few! Just thought I’d pass that along. :)

    • Melissa

Hi. I just love “my” Publix–I wish they would use Target coupons, but that is my only real complaint. I went today and used the free gallon of milk coupon with the purchase of 4 Post cereals. The gallon of milk would have been $2.28, but I was given only $1.95 back on my receipt as a “coupon”. Should I have been given back the full $2.28, or was there a limit on the coupon? I no longer have my coupon, so I don't know for sure. I only read the requirements for the cereal and milk on there and made sure it was in date. I'd like to know so that I'll know whether to go on my next shopping trip and ask for the 30+ cents back. Thanks.

      • Jessthere

The Publix advantage flyer states “Buy 4 Post Cereals 10 oz or Larger and Receive 1 Gallon Milk FREE (Limit one coupon per purchase) Not to exceed purchase price. Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes.” I would definetely take your receipt back, I know if something is priced wrong they give it to you for free, not sure about errors by the cashier but worth a try.

      • Kim

That's funny b/c when I did this deal last week my receipt said 2.69 when milk was only 2.39 that week. they must program their coupons b/f hand. I'd take it back for sure. You may end up getting 2.28 back in change!

      • Lisa

Can't believe you are so concerned over 30 cents. I am thrilled with Publix every week, even if they mess something up or disallow a coupon or two. We are saving a FORTUNE through Publix and Jenny's hard work. Let's not mess that up.

        • Jessthere

I dont believe Melissa is messing up by asking for what was advertised even tho is is only 30 cents. I have had one publix disallow coupons direct from the manufactures site for $2 saying they were fraudulant. Was very embarressing for me knowing that they were not. I did however take them to a totally different Publix who not only allowed them but allowed me to use them on BOGO item from the previous week. If you are on a really tight budget you are working just as hard to organize your shopping lists to save every penney you can, thats just my opinion tho.

    • Kris

I do not know where to find the $5 off 20 Viva items coupon. Is it one coupon or what? I printed out the four coupons at the bottom of the Viva page for individual items but where was the coupon stating the $5 deal. The cashier did not know what I was talking about.

      • Melissa

Hey, Kris–sorry I did not see your question earlier. My computer (and myself, too) is not firing on all engines today. But, if you haven't found out by now, the $5 coupon was found at “my” Publix on one of those cardboard kiosk-type things near the front of the store. It was located near the bins and shelves of BOGO items, right next to a display of Green Giant canned veggies. You might just have to walk around, or it could be that they ran out at your store and just took it down. Hope this helps. Good luck.

There is small blue booklet wit the picture of the participant products, inside is the $5.00 off coupon when you buy 20 participant products. The LU# 2439 (Publix coupon, you may ask the cashier if she/he can type that code, that is what they do with the Publix coupons.

    • mariato

I scored big at Publix, my total was $66.00 and only pay $7.00

Will the register accept coupons for items in which you did not purchase? Yesterday I went to my very busy Publix and forgot to take out a couple of coupons for items I did not buy in my stack that I gave to the cashier.

    • I'm going to frame these and hang them when my husband's at work and see how long it takes him to notice when he gets home!

    • Brooke82
