    • My store had $2 peelies on the cases of Coke. You had to buy Snyder's pretzels and coke to use it. Plus there are $1 Q's for SNyders.

      • Can't believe it! I got to be first!! Love it! Love the early posting of the ad, Jenny!! Thanks!

      • moneysaved4disney

hope i can find those peelies! my fiance has to have those sourdough snyder pretzels…even when not on sale and no coupon! i cringe when i pick up a box!! :)

        • I think the Snyder coupons were in this past weeks paper. And they were placing the peelies on the Coke cases yesterday when I was there.

      • Sherry

Those Qs were for a a 20-pack or 24-pack 12 oz. cans, not the 12-pack cans.

    • Egg beaters have a $1 store coupon. I found them at my area where they cook the meals. Called??? Can't remember. Sorry! Plus, there is a $1/1 from the recent ConAgra booklet you could request.

      • It is on the same page as the Pam/Reddi whip Q.

    • RozR

      Hi Everyone! Jenny you rock!
I am going to be leaving a bag full of coupons that expire soon (some are for this sale that i don't need/use) and half are Target (which my store takes)
It will be at the Orchard Square Publix which is at Hawkins Store Road and Bells Ferry Drive. Address is 4290 Bells Ferry Road, Kennesaw, GA
If you go to this store (I know some of you do as I've seen the SSavers printout before) I will leave it in the turnstile with the flyers by the front door! I really hope someone will be able to use them!!
Now off too check out the ad!!

      • RozR

oh ya it will be tomorrow night (thursday) after 6 pm lol

      • Interesting little drop… lol. Sounds almost like a ransom payoff or shady deal or something… lol.

        • RozR

lol I know I was thinking the same thing!

      • If you have any expired coupons you want to get rid of, I have an adopted military base in Spain that I send them all to. Let me know!

        • Leah_in_SC

Erinn, I just sent you a message on facebook. I would love to get the info for the military base. I have a ton of coupons to send! =)

          • RozR

            I did too! Thanks!

          • boyzrus3

Me too!! I remember her saying to save the expired ones, but she never gave an address or where to send them. Message me and I will send you mine.

        • LPN

I will be happy to send expired coupons. Please advise address.

    • Polaner preserves has a $1 Q on Coupons.com Makes it $1 each.

    • Y'all might have coupons located on the box of your stash of Betty Crocker pouch potatoes. On select boxes I found a $1/2 on Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers as well as $1/2 Coca-Cola Twin Packs or any $1/4 Coca-Cola 2-liter products. So check your pantry! :)

    • The store $5 off 20 item coupon covers the Green Giant steamers, doesn't it? It did on the regular frozen veggies this current sale.

    • Become a fan of Jimmy Dean on Facebook and get a $V 1.00 Q!

      • 3monkeysmom

I just tried to do this and when I copy and pasted the code they emailed me into the box, it “authenticated” and told me my code was incorrect!!! Oh well, thanx anyway :-)

    • Kim

I want a Publix in Mansfield, Ohio – PLEASE!!!!!!

      • Give it about 30 years… it started in Florida and just reached Alabama and Tennessee and other northern southern states a few years ago.

    • moneysaved4disney

finally a slow week for me! i need a break! gotta get the egg beaters and steamer veggies tho!
i am thinking that the kraft cheese q i printed from target earlier today was a store q. stackable! finally a price on cheese good enough that i don't have to drive to costco to get some this week!
      thanks jenny!

      • moneysaved4disney

        just double-checked the target q…its $1/1 store q!!

      • Target prices on cheese are better this time-IF your store doesn't accept Target coupons. My store had it priced at 2.34, so with the Target $1 Q and the Kraft $1/2 q makes them 84 cents each.

        • moneysaved4disney

looks like i can get it for 0.17 each…
          $1/2 Manu Q
          (2) $1/1 Target Q
          =.34 for two!

          • beckyr

And if you printed the “Get $2 off bread wyb 2 Kraft cheese” you can get some free bread with it too! :)

          • astridholliman11

The Target coupons now say 1 per purchase or customer or something like that, so my Publix will only take 1 per transaction.

            • moneysaved4disney

luckily my target doesn't care, nor does my publix! i am sure that could change at any time.

    • Julie

I want to use my Winn Dixie $10 off $50 purchase at Publix this week. The coupon states that it must be $50 before tax. Does anyone know if it can be $50 before coupons?

      • Kara

At my Publix, it is before coupons. I just give them the $/off coupon first and I have never had any problems with it. However, all Publix make their own policies so it may be a little different at yours. Ask the manager if you are unsure.

      • Hope

Yes it can be used before coupons..I use mine there all the time!

      • RAllen

I use a 10 off 50 all the time. I usually give that coupon to the cashier before all others and have not has an issue as of yet

Where are yall getting the $10 off coupons from? Thanks, Kelle

          • jennyinfl

You can get the $10 off of $50 coupon at Winn Dixie each week by using your W/D card and making a single purchase. You will get a catalina coupon that prints and is usable for Fri/Sat/Sun for that week. I usually find one good coupon match from W/D and buy that one item. PUblix takes competitor coupons so I use it each week-end when I do my shopping. Sometimes you get a $5 off of $75. either way, its free money.

            • Sherry

I have never been able to get the $10/$50 coupon from WD if I'm using a coupon to buy an item there even if I spend $30 pre-coupon. However, interesting enough, if you buy stuff there without coupons, you get a better chance of scoring one.

            • lisa b.

what day of the week are you going to winn dixie to get your coupon?

            • jennyinfl

I usually go Tuesday or Thursday……….but last week I went on Friday and the coupon printed for March 5-7

        • joyfullysaving

yeah where are you getting this coupon from? is it regional?

      • Cole05

It should take it off if that's the first coupon you use.

      • jennyinfl

It is before coupons at my Publix in Merritt Island, FL

    • moneysaved4disney

bertolli and steamer veggies are out of prints :(

      • Anonymous

Do you like to trade q’s? I have 3 $1.50/1 bag of Steamfresh Meals, 4 .50/2 Valley Fresh Steamers, and 1 .40/1 Valley Fresh Steamers perfect for this sale. Four of them expire this weekend and four in April. Email me @ nc1031@gmail.com if you’re interested.

      • moneysavingmama

I had a 1.25 off bertolli Q from a Kroger mailer I got a few weeks ago. So if you get Kroger mailings it might be worth checking for that one.

    • Tara

My Publix will not accept the printed store coupons, like the Viva Italia $5/$20, etc. Bummer, cause they said they ran out of the actual flyers on the first day of the sale!

      • Gabi

        Which store is this?

        • Tara

          Franklin Rd in TN.

          • Gina

The one at Nippers corner will take the printed ones (Old Hickory Blvd/Edmondson)

      • That doesn’t make any sense- they’re posted in conjunction with publix online! At any rate, I have a few extras, I’d be happy to send them to you… email me at earthymamablogger@yahoo.com

        • Tara

Thank you Brandy, that is so sweet! It's ok though, I already bought most of the items I wanted last week. Don't know that I will have 20 items this week or not. Thank you so much though! :)

      • I have some extras of these if you want them- click on my name to get to my blog and my contact info is there. :)

      • Newspaper insert had the regular coupons in it last week.. but not the $5 off coupon. Also, you might want to double check with management on that one; it may have been a mistaken cashier because often Publix's will even let you get away with not having the coupon if they know the LU# and I have never heard of a Publix not taking their own coupon just because it was printed.

      • augustagirl

At my Publix, the cashier was asking me where I got that coupon because she wanted one too!!!

      • My stors had them cut out and taped on the shelves and products.

      • astridholliman11

My store in Ooltewah, TN accepted mine today.

QUESTION: When I click on the Lucky Charms Cereal coupon it takes me straight to printing the coupon. I know that when I go to coupons.com I can select multiple coupons at once before printing. Is there anyway to just add the lucky charms coupon to the basket of coupons I want to print? I’m trying to save paper! Thanks a bunch! I just saved $43 in coupons at Harris Teeter and only spent 23. It was awesome!

      • While these both run through coupons . com the company they are actually on different printing “platforms” or programs so there is no way to make it print with the other coupons. Sorry

      • kmanganaro

If it only prints one coupon i always turn my paper around so it will print on the bottom before I hit back.

        • ireneY

Be very careful printing two-sided. I made the mistake of running the second coupon on the same side as the first and ruined two great coupons!

          • WynetteC

I am right there with ya! And it only seems to happen on the coupons that are working out to be free.

      • Robynne in TN

I can get 3 coupons on 1 page, even if they're single prints: just print the first one, crop it right at the bottom of the coupon (leaving 2/3 of the paper intact), then put the paper back in the printer and print the next one, then WITHOUT CUTTING turn it upside down and put it back in the printer to print the final coupon (in my printer if I cut it the paper is too short to feed through the printer). You can also turn it over if they have ads and just print on the other side, as long as you DON'T print the coupons in the same spot on the opposite side of the paper.

        • Lana

I do this too and paper lasts a long time.

      • GA Mom

Regarding saving paper, I just wanted to mention that my two girls (one in preschool one in elementary school) come home with tons of papers (flyers, dittos, etc) from school every day. I reuse them as printer paper for my coupons. We're really green in our house :) So, if you have tons of papers coming home in your children's backpacks, you may want to give it a try!

        • KF

So the stores don't mind if there is printing on the back of the internet coupons?

          • WynetteC

Sometimes when I print out coupons and then flip the paper to print on the blank spot, it ends up printing literally on the backside of the other coupon. I have done this so many times and they still take my very valuable two sided coupon although I only get it for the value of the one side. I have suffered many coupon losses do to my own mechanical error. :x

        • what a great idea – unfortunately, my printer jams when I try to use any paper not out of the pack – even if I flip and try to print on the back of a sheet I just printed on. But I will file this idea away for the day I get a new printer – hey Jen, you should try to get one of those low ink use Kodak printers as a giveaway. You would be even more loved than you are now!

    • ash4usc09

Is anyone else having trouble with the ConAgra game (Hunts)? I've tried this in the past and can't ever get it to move forward after clicking step 3 at the bottom. Just stays on that page doing nothing. I want my FREE Hunts!!! :(

      • It just takes FOREVER to load. I thought it was not loading too, but if you see the bar underneath the click button it will slowly start to fill up… my wife actually had to point it out to me as I was about to give up on it myself.

        • elisa

Also, be sure when you FINALLY get to the end, you choose the Hunts lady if you want the Hunts coupon.

          • Amber in SC

I found that once I printed the coupon I wanted, I could hit “back” and go back to the page where you pick your coupon and print out whatever else I wanted. I printed most of the coupons available w/o having to wait to load the game each time. This only worked when I opted to join the mailing list or whatever. Usually, you can unsubscribe to newsletters after you receive them, so it's worth it to get the extra coupons. HTH! :)

      • Maximus

The game is hardly worth the trouble . . . after all the loading time and going through all the scenes, then filling out the obligatory questionnaire, you'll probably waste 15-20 mins, all for a few cans of free tomato paste (and of course I got an error message at the end and couldn't print the coupon anyway. . .)

        • exaggerate much… lol… and besides the questionnaire is not mandatory unless you are printing out more than one set of coupons (which includes 2 coupons if you use the back browser).

        • I agree that requiring potential customers to play a game before giving out the coupon was unnecessary on ConAgra's part. But the game loaded very quickly on my computer and it lasted about 30 seconds. The questionaire is optional but I went ahead and filled it out (name, zip code, email and a couple check boxes was all it requested) so I would say my time investment was about a minute total. $1/minute = $60/hour which isn't a bad wage at all :)

    • Mindy

Jenny, you are awesome! Thanks for getting this list out so early!! I am so excited about this sale. Also, I AM THRILLED that you are coming to Manchester, TN in March!!! I'm loading up my car of my family and friends that just haven't got the coupon thing down yet. They see how much I'm saving and want to learn as well. I can't wait to meet you. Thanks so much for all you do!!

    • ash4usc09

My RP 1/31 has the Ragu coupon valued at $0.60/1 :( … higher value but doesn't double!

      • Diana

my store said they haven't gotten them in yet

Anyone know if Chattanooga Tn Publix will accept Food Lion $5/$50 store coupon?

      • Lisa

I used a $1/$5 food lion at publix in ooltew. and East brain. Both of these just in the last 2 weeks. Where did you get the 5/50 from?

      • Laney C

The one on E. Brainerd Rd says they don't take those only $ off on an item

      • thinkgreen08

The Hixson store has in the past. I am not sure if the rules have changed. Last time I had one was when they first opened.

      • call – my store has always been happy to tell me over the phone. Just get the name of whomever you talk to in case there's a problem at checkout!

    • Jessica

I'm not finding the store coupon for Egg Beaters. I know you said it was on the flyer with the Redi Whip but what flyer is that? Just wondering. I have looked through a couple different flyers and no luck. Thanks in Advance!

      • Andrea

There were some $1 off Egg Beaters at my publix on a tear pad. I think they expire on the 28th.

      • Leah_in_SC

This was a hard (cardstock) flyer that only had 2 q's at the bottom, one for eggbeaters and one for reddiwhip when you buy pam spray (odd combo if you ask me). I found them over by the food sample prep station (where they demo recipes and offer samples).

      • Cole05

I have one I'm not going to use. Do you trade q's. I could mail to you today.

      • Sherry

I had to ask today at the CS counter.

    • It's awesome that Publix is having Hunts Tomato Sauce on sale this week 'cause I went to Winn-Dixie to try to get some tonight since it was on sale and I wanted to make Steak Pizzaioli tomorrow for dinner… only they were out of stock!!! I got a rain check for 6 cans, but who knows when they will be in stock again (though I could try a different WD… but now I don't have to!!!).

    • dianebenatar

This sale is a lot slower than the last one. Good thing; I don't think I could top myself. I went yesterday and spent $8.87 OOP. Saved…..$56.38!!! I had to call all my couponing friends, and my husband wanted to know if I was stealing! What a rush!

      • Nice one!!! 86.4% savings! That's a good 10% more than my personal best at Publix.

        • dianebenatar

I was lucky. I had a $5.00 off a $30.00 purchase, and I used my $5.00 off 20 for the viva italian, AND I had a couple of good target mataches. All in all, a perfect storm of coupons and sales!(only it ended up well)

    • philanacummingsgmailcom

i used a Targer coupon for Crest rinse 1.50/2, along with two P&G coupons for same product $2/1 this week at publix, which made each only $0.24!

      • Cole05

Do you know which Publix' take Target q's. I know the one in Greenville, SC will only take Bi-Lo and Inlges competitors.

        • Lana

No Target coupons in Duncan or Spartanburg SC.

    • maryc4

Anyone know where to find the Fisher Fusion Snack Mix? I looked with the nuts and Chex Mix but didn't see it.

      • Leah_in_SC

It's with the raisins at our store, which is right by the candy across the aisle from the baby products. Hope this helps.

      • selinaj

I couldn't find it at my store either (Dallas New Hope store)

      • Lana

In my store it is by the candy. The Cinnamon Roll flavor is yummy!

        • I like to toss those on my salad!!

      • Janice

In my store (atlanta), it is with the raisins/snacks at the end of the bread aisle. The nuts, etc. are somewhere else. It is tricky to find sometimes. They are yummy – especially for 50 cents!

      • Kim

In my store it's one aisle over from the chips. It's with other peanut/trail mixes.

      • Carrie

At my store (Palatka, FL), they are right above the fruit snacks and below the raisons. For us, this is the first aisle after produce. The same aisle that has all the canned fruits/veggies, ethnic foods and boxed organic foods.

    • Andrea

Question….Can you stack a wags Q with a publix Q with a manu Q on one product? I did it at Publix tuesday on the tamponss deal. Afterward, I got to thinking that maybe I wasn't supposed too. If it is allowed it was a sweet overage deal!

      • Michelle

My publix store used to stack a 1) Manufacturer 2) store and 3) competitor. However, they stopped doing that quite some time ago. My store views competitor coupons the same as their own store coupons now. So you can stack a competitor or a store with a manufacturer q. This policy is set by the individual Publix store, so you store may actually do this!

      • Leah_in_SC

My experience has been that you can only use one store q and one manu q. The store q can be Publix or an accepted competitor, but not both. I try not to push the issue with competitor q's because your store could easily decide to stop accepting wags or other competitor q's if they feel they are being taken advantage of.

        • Leah_in_SC

Andrea…I wanted to clarify, I'm not implying you were taking advantage…you didn't know! =) Just trying to encourage you not to push it in the future. And just a thought,if you ever have questions about what your store is okay with as far as coupons go, take a minute and ask your store manager…especially if you are a regular shopper at that store. They are much nicer and more helpful when you have an issue if they remember you and know that you are trying to do the right thing.

      • Andrea

Yep they still do:) That was an awesome deal!.. Wags had a $2 off one Kotex Tampon in there Feb book of Savings. I used 2 of those, one $1.50 off 2 Kotex tampons Manu. & the Publix BOGO coupon! Sweet Overage!

      • Natalie559

In Tallahassee, FL you can always use a man coupon and you can stack that with either a store or competitor, not both. Our stores consider a competitor the same as a store coupon. Others here have said you could use all three so your mileage may vary.

        • Monica509

Natalie, I was at the Bradfordville Publix last week & they wouldn't accept a Rite Aid coupon – said they didn't consider it as a competitor b/c there's not a Rite Aid in town. Have you had this happen before?

          • Natalie559

Hi! When I asked Lake Ella who they considered competitors they didn't list Rite Aid. Makes sense as like you said there is not one in town. But they will take target, walgreens, winn dixie, harveys and cvs. No food lion and no save a lot. Hope that helps!

            • Shannon

I've never had a problem with Food lion and save a lot since harveys is owned by food lion and save alot is on south monroe. My publix of choice is either lake ella, oak valley or the one off park ave & blairstone

    • Danielle

where do you get the party playbook and stocking spree?

      • Andrea

Danielle I found the stocking spree flyers in a stand alone bin just outside the double doors (basically in the entry way where the green and yellow advantage turnside is) is a single sheet, skinny and long. Hope that helps!

      • Sherry

Bummer, my store has never heard of this. Has anyone in the Montgomery/Prattville, AL area seen these?

    • chasgal

Does anybody know what happened to the store flyers (with store coupons) in the Mt Pleasant (Johnnie Dodds)Publix? they used to be in that tall 4 sided bin just inside the doors with the paper flyers, now they are never there….did they stop putting them out? move them? did i just miss out? thnx

    • selinaj

Haha…I agree! I'm worn out too and glad to see that I can take a break this week from Publix. I went on Monday evening and spent $125 oop, SAVED $142.86!! I just happened to leave the receipt on the table next to the computer that night and when my husband was using the computer… he yells into the next room… “BABE! You saved $143???” I said YEP, I sure did!! He said….”shieee###@@” :) Obviously very impressed :)
I'm loving this! Its like a game for me, like finding newfound CASH! Huge relief to my hubby since I just had a baby and gave up the 2nd income to stay home!

      • Heather

good for you, choosing to stay home! I do too and it is hard $$$$ but we make it work and the money i am saving at the grocery store sure does help!

        • Lane

Kudos to both Heather and selinaj for choosing to stay at home and invest in eternity. We've made that decision, too, and it's not easy to keep our eyes on what matters all the time, but we're so thankful for opportunities to save or stretch our money. A HUGE THANK YOU TO JENNY HERE AT SOUTHERNSAVERS.

          • Amy

It makes me really sad when SAHM's imply that working moms are not choosing to invest in eternity, or to keep their eyes on “what matters”. Let's save this for a different forum, folks.

            • jessica

              I agree!!

People should stop to think, there are some families where both parents HAVE to work, or where a single mom (or dad) is raising kids and has no choice but to work. It does not make someone a better parent just because they stay home with their kids. I have worked in a school for years, and some of the kids with a stay at home mom are just terrible, and some of the kids who have two (or a single) working parent(s) are the best kids. It is not necessarily correlated with whether a parent stays home or not. Some parents can balance work and families very well, and can “invest in eternity” while both working and raising families.

          • Andrea

Let's please leave the SAHM vs. working mom dicussion for another web site. I work full time. I work from home, so my kids go to a 1/2 day (4 hours) pre-school at a church I grew up in and then they come home. I work while they are napping and work in the evenings. I'm very lucky and fortunate that my company gave me this flexible work option. Many parents who work don't have this option and have to be away from their children so they can feed, shelter and clothe them. To even suggest that parents who don't choose to stay home aren't investing in eternity is hurtful. Every family is different and has different needs. What works best for one family doesn't work for another. We should all support each other, regardless of the choices we make for our families, in our efforts to save money and support our families as best we can.

            • I'm a SAHM and always wanted to be, but we bought a business before I got pregnant with a medically fragile, special needs child. So we had to file bankruptcy because I could not even work part time consistently and keep up with her medical needs. We were living as simply as possible and it still was not enough because of the tens of thousands of business debt. And the stress of all that is so destructive to a young family that it's difficult to protect the kids from it even when you are trying. Couponing has really helped to relieve that stress. I think it's important for SAHM's to remember that there are many reasons why other mothers work and not to assume it's because they are choosing lifestyle over their children. And to be sensitive to that – sometimes when you are praising yourself and others you are accidentally implying things you might not intend about others. Best to keep the subject on couponing and not on personal family choices.

      • this is my part time job! I started last May, and it has been a huge blessing. I've also really got into frugal living websites.

    • Leah_in_SC

Can someone help me figure out the coke deal. If it's b2g1 at $4.99, then wouldn't it be $9.98/3 making each one $3.33, so the $1/1 q would make it $2.33. Am I missing something? Thanks! =)

      • Suemh

I believe that you are correct. It appears. It appears that the above deal is calculated as if it were B1G1F.

      • lynwh

I was wondering the same thing! Also, did anyone get the Coke coupon in the Kroger Mailer? If so, is it in a book and what does the cover look like?

        • April

I received this Kroger mailer about 1 1/2 weeks ago. It is a book called My Magazine and has a Daytona 500 Race car on the cover.

    • maehingo

Jenny can you insert the “create a shopping list” icon for this post. I don't see it! Thanks!

    • Mayra

I have apodted a Military base in Italy so if anyone in the Fountain Inn area or Simpsonville area has any expired coupons please let me know. Thanks !!!Jenny we Love you…

Mayra, I live in Mauldin and work in Laurens… i have a HUGE stack of coupons I would love for you to send. Will you e-mail me at the.satterfields@gmail.com with ideas of how/when to get them to you? Thanks!

      • leslie

I live in Greer but work in the Pelham Road area in Greenville. I have some expired coupons I didn’t know what to do with. Email JACKETFAN24@YAHOO.COM if you can use them.

      • Megan

I will give you mine too—I live off North Harrison Bridge. glueandglitter@yahoo.com

      • what do they do with the expired Qs? They're worthless to me, so if someone can use them, I'd be happy to start saving mine!

Just in case you haven’t seen it… The Green Advantage Flyer has a BOGO on Kotex. Coupons.com has $1.50/$2.00 Coupons and Walgreens February Coupon Book (Pink) has a $2.00 coupon. Makes both free and some overage. Stock up we all can use them or give them to someone:)

    • S G

The list above. Is that not the ad for the week? Things that are above or they the lowest price at Publix for all time? Some what confused by that statement.

      • Snowski824

It is the current ad but it's only the items at the best price. So for example if Mini Wheats were BOGO last week and are $3 a box this week she wouldn't list them

        • sg

          Thank you.

      • I type out most of the list, but most grocery stores throw in some deals in their weekly ad that aren't good prices at all. So it is my goal to only recommend that you buy them when they are the best price. So I don't include things that are just regular price or a few pennies on sale.

        • Drew

Can we use a black & white printed copy of the $5 off 20 items coupon?

          • astridholliman11

            Yes! I just did tonight.

    • Kate

I can not find the coupon for Fisher Fusions or RIght Guard….what zip code do we need to use? Thanks!

      • Nicole

if you go to the right guard website- you can get $1.50/1 right guard- the new one- and they are B1G1 at Walgreens right now- so they end up being $1 for 2.

      • Kate

Okay, found the Fisher Coupon but still can not find the Right Guard

      • MrsJJ

I am unable to find the right guard coupon. What zip code is it under?

    • Nicole

General Mills Chex Mix bars are 2 for $4. There are $0.50/1 coupons out there somewhere- so it ends up being $1 a box.

Also- North Augusta, SC, Publix has the “Go on a Stocking Spree” flyer up by the B1G1 items hanging on a large cardboard cut out.

    • lindamende

Question> I do not know how far back to save my weekly flyers and I am getting inundated. What is the rule of thumb that the stores go back to pull from the coupon flyers. It looks like 1/03 is as far back as they go at Publix this week. Do you think 2 months is far enough…I hate to throw away coupons I could possibly use.

      • Suemh

Sometimes there are coupons available from several months before. A good idea is to go through your inserts when you get them and see when is the latest expiration date. Write that date on the front of the insert and discard it when that date has passed.

      • WynetteC

I am assuming you're referring to the weekly inserts in the paper, that is what I will address, if not disregard this.
I take my weekly inserts (Red Plum, Smart Source, P & G, or any other coupon insert) and start a process:
I (and my daughters) start with let's say Smart Source. I but multiple papers so I take all of those inserts and I stack every matching page together and then I clip what I want (usually four layers at a time). When I am done with the whole combined insert, I mark the date on the front of the insert and place it into a hanging file folder which is marked for that month ONLY. I repeat this process for all the inserts.
After a few months, go back to your first hanging file folder on a day that you have extra time and look through and see if all the coupons have expired. I usually try to do this once a month and pull out whatever papers within an insert are already expired and this keeps extra room in my file folder and less headache when I need to go to this month and particular insert for a coupon.

Right now my hanging file folders date back to October 2009. But it is very slim. January and February 2010 folders are very thick but these will slim down after the 28th of Feb since a lot of coupons will expire then.
        Hope this helps! :)

Confused. The above states “everything that is at it’s lowest price for Publix”. So
what does that mean exactly? The above are deals for this week – it does or does not mean they are the lowest deal and it is time to stock up? Please explain more.

      • wende

It means that she is only listing from the ad that is at the lowest price. There are tons more things on sale , but she only lists what's the lowest price I believe. It took me a long time to figure that out and that I may need soemthing that's not at the lowest price, but still on sale, so I always get the flier look at it too.
If you want the whole ad line up after looking at this one, look at I Heart Publix – she list the whole thing usually.

    • WynetteC

StarKist Tuna – If anyone has their Starkist Pouch Tuna B1G1 Free coupon from the Vocal Point Mailer (I think?), they can really extend the savings on this deal. Unfortunately I used both of mine at Wal-Mart last week since I gave up on them going on sale. And they were $2.79 a pouch there, I had paired the B1G1 with the $1 off coupon and thought it was an okay deal. :::sigh::: As they say, patience is a virtue!

      • Lisa

If it's the same coupon I'm thinking of, you didn't miss out – they are for slightly different products. I just looked today because I thought I could get two free (Bogo sale plus bogo coupon). The coupon lists only a few types you can use it on. The best I saw was plain chunk light tuna pouch on sale for 99 cents ea, and since the coupon doesn't expire for a while, I'm going to hold out for free.

      For Greenville, SC Publix shoppers…
I was in Publix yesterday and talked to one of the cashiers–very nice man! He said that they were told recently that their store will begin taking expired coupons (a few days expired) and will start accepting coupons on “similar items” they are out of during a sale (I assume to avoid rainchecks). He told me during the meeting he thought of me and knew I would want to know–why would anyone not shop at Publix?

      • momto8

Which Greenville Publix are you referring too. The one I shop at is actually getting less helpful to couponers.

      • ash4usc09

Which Publix? I love my Fairview Rd Publix but expired coupons and similar items allowed sounds good enough to go to yours on certain items! Thanks.

        • Megan

Ash–I go here too and get the same little cashier every time, Denise. She must think I’m insane with all my coupons. If you want to join my coupon train (me plus 3 other girls from Atlanta where I used to live) email me at: glueandglitter@Yahoo.com.

          • Diana

I shop Farview Rd…does anyone know what happened to the smucker's uncrustables? They were out and we couldn't find the $2 price in the ad for a raincheck…sorry, not sure where to post this.

            • xseannax

I was told in Charleston that they didn't anticipate the demand for them at the low price so they ran out of stock quickly. I asked when they were restocking, and sure enough today when I went back they had some. The 3/$6 was not in the regular ad, but in the Sweet Savings booklet (yellow with chocolates and roses on the front) that I picked up in the flyer bin at the front of my store.

      • Glory

Well isn't this a nice open invitation to TAKE ADVANTAGE of and ABUSE this store's generosity…Can't wait to see how long this lasts…

        • 3monkeysmom

Um, not trying to pick an argument here but if that is the store's policy how exactly does it qualify as abuse?

        • lucy2778

Ha ha. Stores are NOT generous. Yes, Publix has great deals and steals, and the best customer service. Nevertheless, they do it because they MAKE MONEY on us. And in the end, I always think that they wouldn't have all these promotions if they didn't make money on them!

        • Mamaberry

I'm not sure what you mean, how long WHAT lasts? couponing in general? or the exp coupons? Because if you mean couponing, yeah less than 1% of the coupons printed are actually redeemed and the stores make additional handling on them when they accept them so profit there. If you mean exp coups? Again, no loss for them. They have up to 6 months to redeem them anyway. Accepting them on the 31st or the 3rd isn't going to affect that either. Can you clarify your 'complaint'?

    • Candace

I'm just beginning to coupon and have saved alot of money in 2 weeks…UI guess I'm hooked! Three questions: Sometimes coupons are supposed to be on the link that you provide and they are not there. Am I doing something wrong? Secondly, what is a tearpad and where do I find them? And last, where do I find the Publix books and All You Magazine? Thanks for providing this service! Candy

      • Susannah

Welcome to the club! Answers, as I see them: Sometimes coupons have a certain number of “prints,” and when they are gone, they are gone. Tearpads are little pads of coupons that hang on the edge of a shelf. Good coupon manners state that you should only take one or two. Publix coupon books are sometimes at the front of the store in a spinner or shelf like thing or sometimes you have to ask at the customer service dept. All You magazine is through subscription or you can buy them at Wal Mart only. Hope that helps!

        • Candace

Yes…thanks! Exactly wht I needed to know!

          • You can buy All You through their site, through Amazon, I think Magazines.com, and schools will include it in fundraisers. Jenny just had a foodbank fundraiser here on SS where we got 40 issues for $27. Occasionally, Jenny will feature other subscription deals for All You so you might want to wait to subscribe.

      • Michelle

Just wanted to add that coupons might not “be there” because they are found only in certain zip codes (like ones on coupons.com). But come here and ask if there is a zip code for a certain product if you don’t see it and someone is likely to give you a zip that works.

      • Emmy

our publix has the flyers at the customer service desk but they are on a shelf thats built into the actual customer service desk.. they are down pretty low so its easy to miss them.. I would just call and ask the customer service at your local publix.. thats what I did.. also don't forget to sign up on the publix website for their free magazines.. they have coupons in them.. if you have a baby sign up for the baby club too :)

    • Elizabeth

Just used the Betty Crocker brownie coupon – the manager at the Trenholm Plaza Publix surpressed the doubling. I didn't see it til I got to the car and when I went back in to ask why – another manager said probably the coupon read Do Not Double. I can't remember if it did or not – but this is the first time that has happened to me. :(!

    • Anonymous

Is anyone else noticing that most coupons on SS and coupons.com are printing DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE on them??? This is not good at all!

      • WynetteC

I think this has been the case for quite a while now. Just focus in on the $1 or more coupons which would never be doubled at most grocery stores anyways. These are valuable.
It's the .50 cent or less coupons that have printed DO NOT DOUBLE that you may want to avoid and the majority of these type of coupons are located in inserts within Sunday's paper.

    • BMESS

I just got back from the Publix in Knightsville (Summerville, SC), and the Similac Isomil Advance (pink top container) and Similac Sensitive (orange top container) are $5 off!!! I didn't see this in the weekly ad, but they are marked down $5. Woo hoo!!

    • Laney C

I'm having issues with coupons only printing off one of my computers and when I print from the other it says I've already reached my limit. Is anyone else having this problem?

      • twinmom123

Hi Laney… Maybe that particular coupon inly allows one print? Sometimes they go by the IP address and not the computer, I think. Good tech question… Good luck- hth!

    • HOT DEAL: I don't know if this was mentioned yet or not… I just got back from Publix. I found the Betty Crocker Brownie mixes with $1/1 peelies on them, making each box just $.35. What a deal, especially if you didn't have any more of those $.50/1 coupons left!

      • ginnyw

I just left Publix and saved 49.?? and spent 68.??! I was so excited! I got a really good deal on some Dawn. Used the instore coupon from Publix for two bottles and two FL coupons (they expired yesterday, but they said I could use them) and two coupons from the P&G booklet! WOOHOO! I got some good overage on one bottle and two bottles for cheap. I love this site and really appreciate Publix for taking coupons so easily! It makes it a lot easier for my husband and I since I'm in school!

    • hsvmom

Has anyone in the Huntsville, AL been able to find the Planter's nuts coupon from the SS insert or is this another coupon we missed out on?

      • WynetteC

If you have the game day greats booklets, there is $1 off 2 planters nuts coupon.

    • sg

      PAM Cooking Spray, 5 or 6oz., at $3.29 ($1.64)
-$1 off Pam and Reddi Whip in store flyer (store coupon) (exp 2/28) which store flyer?

      • Taylor

It's a little recipe card for flan in the kiosk with the rest of the flyers. It has a store coupon at the bottom of it.

      • thinkgreen08

It was just a one page thing that was not much bigger than a post card.

        • SG

          Thank you.

          • not every store has the blinkies and tearpads so I don't get emotionally invested in those types of deals – if it works out it's a blessing, if not, I move on!

    • Jenn

Anyone know if the Ronzoni Smart Taste is included in the BOGO sale yet? PLMK – Thanks!

      • Kim

From what I saw at my store this morning it is NOT the Smart Taste OR Healthy Harvest. Just plain old Ronzoni.

        • Jenn

TYVM! I guess those Smart Taste coupons will just go to waste. Oh, well. =(

    • jason

Am I missing something on the Hormel $1.50 off Q? When I click the link it sends me to the coupons page of SS but I don't see a coupon for Hormel anything.

      • shanprice

I am wondering the same thing- I want to stock up on them for $2.50! Anyone else know where they can be found?

    • carolyn090

    • ElCid

Mount Pleasant, SC Publix: the Right Guard deodorant that is BOGO this week also has a save $.55 peel-off sticker on it..

    • Chelsea

Has anyone else looked on the publix website and noticed the ad won't load?

I emailed corporate about it, and I have heard nothing back. I am so thankful and appreciative of your lists Jenny, but I like to check my store's specific ad to get an idea of any deals that include only a certain portion of a product line.

    • MDPonton

      Thanks you.

Had a very pleasant experience at the Lexington, SC Publix last night. I usually shop at either the downtown Columbia or Harbison stores, but last night DH wanted to dine at a restaurant in Lexington (and how could I say no to that?), so we decided we'd go to the Lexington Publix afterward. Not realizing that Publix closes at 10 p.m., we didn't arrive at Publix until about 2 min. after 10. The store baggers and stock boys wouldn't let us in the door, but by golly I wanted that Purina ONE on sale and had great coupons to go with it, so I insisted that they go get the manager. He came to the door, I explained that I wanted to buy the dog food they had on sale, and he said “so what's the problem?” He let us in, we got our dog food and a few other items, and when we got to the register, I asked where was the Viva Italia tearpad. Well, of course, they didn't have any. I didn't fuss, but the manager decided to give us the $5 off even though we didn't have the coupon!

If this is the prevailing attitude toward couponers at the Lexington store, it's going to see more of me!

      • colagirl

That's too funny. A few weeks ago I went to the couponing class Jenny held in downtown Cola. I would say 75% of the comments/questions were complaining about the Lexington Publix and its refusal to recognize standard Publix policies when it comes to couponing (rain checks are limited, very strict about coupons, etc). Someone said their local govt had even tried to step in, but the store didn't care. Maybe they are changing their ways.

    • andy

I didn't see this mentioned, forgive me if I'm mistaken. Publix in Chattanooga/Hixson has “buy theirs, get ours free.” Buy Starbucks Columbian coffee on sale for $5.99, get Publix Columbian coffee free. I used 1.00q, so got 2 for $4.99.

      • ireneY

That's good to know! There's a $1.50 MQ in the Spring issue of the Publix wine magazine to sweeten the deal.

    • mollies

I shopped at Publix in Augusta, GA and the clerk would not double my coupons for B1G1 items. On my receipt, it says “suppressed” under each coupon amount. I think she even suppressed the double on some all the coupons I used. Is that right? Should I take the receipt back and question it?

    • carolyn090

do you have to print the 5.00/20.00 publix coupon or can i find it in stores ? i got an insert in my coupons all of the other coupons were there but no 5.00/20.00 .my printer is down !!!!

      • There have been displays of the Viva Italia coupons in stores all week. Your luck in finding them at this late date may not be so good. I stopped in 3 stores in the past 2 days and only one of them had any left.

    • marip

I have not found the multiply your meal booklet in the Charleston area. Has anyone found them?

    • Michelle

In the Walgreens February Book of Savings there is a Bayer coupon for $1 off 325 mg, 24 ct, Low Dose Enteric, 32 ct or Children's 36 ct.

    • mollies

This Monday at my Augusta, GA Publix, the clerk would not double my coupons for B1G1 items. On my receipt it says “suppressed” under each coupon. Is that right? Should I take my receipt back to question that?

      • Leah_in_SC

If the coupon is marked “DO NOT DOUBLE” by the manufacturer, then Publix can suppress the doubling. Many Publix stores are starting to do this more. If it is not marked “DO NOT DOUBLE” and they suppressed it just because the item was already on sale or for whatever other reason, then I would definitely ask the store manager to explain why and/or correct it.

PS – I'm just across the river in N. Augusta! =)

        • mollies

Thanks Leah. Some were marked “DO NOT DOUBLE” and she explained why she could not double those, but most were newspaper coupons and she specifically stated she could not double on B1G1 items. I will try that store one more time, but may be heading to your side of the river if they insist. Could have gotten way better deals!

      • marysc

I've never heard that you can't use a double coupon on a BOGO item. I would have gone straight to the manager and then followed up with corporate! The problem with going back now is that you have no way to prove that the coupon didn't say “do not double”.

    • amurphy061

Don't forget about the $1 off $5 meat coupon from food lion. I always use these when they are available!

    • sg

Is there a coupon club/group where you can go and talk about deals etc.?

      • this is it! What else do you need? :-)

    • Caryn

Forest Drive Publix will not accept Target coupons. Is this the case with others? I did speak to a manager. Also, all the tear coupons in the front of the store were gone, again.
We all like a good deal, but it seems some are greedy and grab them all up :(.

      • Jenn

Don't worry, your not the only one with a coupon swiper running rampant. It's irritating to find that he/she has taken all but 1 coupon on the TP – on all 4 pads. Don't get me wrong, with a family of 5 I'm not immune to using multiples of the same coupon in a single shopping order (i.e. the 10 Classico insert coupons I used yesterday.) What I can't understand is how could one person possibly use or trade that many coupons? Whom ever is doing this at our store in Crestview, FL has even taken entire stacks of coupon books – hundreds of books!?! Q: WHY??? Naughty, naughty! I take a few – not ALL OF THEM. And our store now only accepts competitor coupons from Winn-Dixie and none other than WD. So, those that can use lot's of different stores – you are very lucky shoppers….and I'm so jealous I can't stand it! LMAO

        • hsvmom

          Hey Jenn,

Not very often you hear from someone from Crestview. My sister lives there so I am always glad to see others from that area. Don't worry though, she isn't the one stealing the coupons. I haven't been able to get her to see the light yet. LOL!

      • River

Irmo Publix would not take Target coupons either.

    • julie

I got a Publix Viva Italia booklet in the mail yesterday, but the only coupon in it was the $5/30.

    • ksnyder89

am I the only one who couldn't find the hormel q??

      • Tom

ditto, couldn't find it on the list but I had some $1 off 1 in my coupon stash.

    • Laura K

Unfortunately the Hershey's $2/2 from 1/31 SS is for the *big* bags, 19.x oz+, so it cannot be used on the Nuggets.

    • nurseguy1977

i just used 20 coupons for green giant steamers. .50/1 they doubled to 1.00 off each. which made them .19 each, which totals a little less than 4.00. then I used a 5.00 off 20 items coupon and my cost was 0.00. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW

    • nurseguy1977

Can't find the SS 2/7 q for betty crocker brownies in the AJC. Did anyone in the Atlanta area find it?

      • Chelsea

I was able to find it, but the value in the AJC was different. Ours was a .75/2 HTH!

      • nickie

        not in my inserts either

    • Tisha in Greer, SC

I got a good deal on bleach & beggin strips for the dog today. I bought 2 bags of beggin strips & 2 bottles of bleach for a total of $1.93 plus tax.

    • momof6

I just found out about your website last wk. and am new to this but I want to thank you so much, I went to Publix and CVS last Sat. and purchased $150.xx for $57.xx and received $7 in CVS bucks~~thanks so much!!! my husband was extremely excited and I think I am getting totally addicted :-) lol!!! I live walking distance to CVS and have made it my daily excercise routine~~great deals every day :-)

      • lucy2778

Congrats! I'm also relatively new at this, and saved about the same amount of money as you did. My hubby is excited too, after seeing that we have about a year worth of toothpaste/razors/shave gel/body wash, all for free or almost free. Saving money is like my paycheck, and after 2 weeks of using this website, I was able to cut my grocery/personal items bill by about 60%, now that's what I'm talking about! :)

    • Susie

At the Publix near my house the BC Brownie Mix had $1 off 1 box peelies on the boxes. That was a great surprise.

    • yelik01

yes i did the other day

    • Tom

Anyone know it there is a site that lists match-ups for Sweet Bay Supermarkets? (I'm in Tampa, FL).

      • check becentsible.net

        • Tom

Didn't work. Seems to be a link to a site offering to sell me the domain name. Are you sure of the spelling and extension?

          • Anonymous

I think DeeDee meant (www.becentsable.net). However, I don’t see Sweetbay on the list for match-ups.

          • SORRY!!! It is becentsable(dot)net then click on grocerystores link. it will give you a list of states, choose yours and then find a blog that covers the grocery Store you need.

    • kabv3g

Just wanted to pass this along, Oreida French fries had a buy 2 get 1 free peelie on it. Has a coupon dispenser outside of it for 1.50 off 1 bag. I got 3 bags, used 2 man. and the peelie and got each bag for 1.19.

    • ywardlaw

Sad news to report for the people that shop the Forest Drive Publix store. When I asked the manager if they had any more of the P&G fliers he told me that the person who put them out left a large stack (over 1 inch thick or more) and within 10 seconds a lady had picked all of them up. GREED!

Other note, the Aunt J coupon that's listed doesn't apply to the item listed and the Hershey's coupon ($2 on 2) only applies to the xtra large bags, not the ones on sale. I'm not sure that the $1.00 off coupon would apply either based on the coupon language.

For anyone with Revlon coupons, I couldn't find any of the makeup in the store, even though there is a store coupon in the advantage flier; however, the Forest Drive store was clearing out the Revlon tweezers, clippers, etc. I got two pair of clippers for 1.19 each and had two $1.00 off coupons.

      • Different stores carry different make up. I visit 3 different stores about every week and 1 of the 3 carry the Revlon make up.

      • Snowski824

People need to quit being jerks and taking ALL of the coupons. Do they not realize their abuse of the coupons is going to make stores crack down even more!

        • Megan

On a related note, I went to a bookstore to PURCHASE a magazine specifically to get a certain coupon in the magazine. The store had three copies left, and the coupon had been torn out of all three (I was smart enough to check before I bought the magazine). You could tell the same person took the coupons because they had all been torn out the same way. I was so mad! And chances are, they are selling the stolen coupons on ebay right now! Someone who takes an entire stack of coupons, like what ywardlaw mentioned above, is probably going to sell them for money. That, to me, is stealing….

and I don't think I have ever bought more than 6 or 8 of an item at a time…. and that was for this most recent promotion – 8 cans of soup and 6 boxes of GG veggies, and even then I didn't get more than 2 or 3 of a specific flavor. I hate it when they are out of something I am looking for! Normally I don't get any more than 3 or 4 of an item… any more and I feel like I am taking advantage of the store and being greedy.

          • Denise

OMG! I've noticed that whenever I buy my Sunday paper at a particular location, the smartsource flier is not there. Yet less than a mile down the road when I buy a second copy, the flier is there! Go figure….

        • Sherry

There's an infamous lady in central AL who the cashiers call The Crazy Coupon Lady who buys over a $1,000 worth of groceries at a time and has several carts loaded with stuff. I hardly ever see booklets at our store and whenever I ask about them, the cashiers alway say she must have gotten them all. I never see booklets unless I get there right after they put them out.

          • then why isn't the store limiting how many she can take, or that other customers can take? I hate it when the rest of us wind up missing out and the stores act helpless!

          • WynetteC

I wonder if it's the same one who crosses the line from AL into GA to buy up stuff at our Publix? Several store employees know about her here and I've heard a couple stories.

She got 30-60? (bought all they had) boxes of one kind of cereal at one time with coupons and used the overage to buy 2 cartons of cigarettes. That very next week there were signs posted of limit 3 deals per customer.

            • 3monkeysmom

Mmmm. Cereal and cigarettes…that's a really strange grocery list :-) GROSS!

    • astridholliman11

Just went to Publix and paid 33.73, saved 107.28. Crazy. I love couponing. I got 29 bags of Valley Fresh Steamers for like 4.50. I had 21 of the 40 cents off and 8 of the 50 cents off internet printables, and then used that Viva Italia coupon of $5 off 20 items. That's like 15 cents a bag!

      • emilyinalabama

This irratates me. Why do you need to get SO many? Were there any left? I understand we all love a great deal…but if your like me and drive 30 minutes once a week to publix/kroger to try to save on groceries and you get there and most of the items are cleaned out b/c someone bought SO Much it gets frustrating and seems a little greedy. Hope there were some left for the person who came behind you,if you live in the area I do then there are only about 3 in a 100 mi radius…and Im only willing to go to the one 30 miles away 1 time a week, so I cant go back the next couple days to see if they restocked it. Just a thought for you.

        • lucy2778

I agree with you and sorry you have to drive so much, that would have frustrated me too.

        • Andrea

When frozen veggies go on sale, I place an order with the grocery manager the first day of the sale. I usually order 25 bags (I have a chest freezer to store them) because my family has veggies every night. I place an order with the grocery manager b/c it helps them keep product on the shelves, reducing the need to give out rainchecks, and it leaves product for other customers. The grocery manager at my Publix is more than willing to place the order for me. I get my order when the next truck comes in (usually on a Sunday) and I am able to use all the coupons I have for the product.

          • emilyinalabama

Well then I commend you for taking that action to thoughtfully prevent others frustration ;)

            • Andrea

There is nothing more frustrating to me than making a trip to the store and they are out of what you want, so I really try to be considerate of other shoppers. If I need more than 6 of something and there isn't plenty of stock on the shelves, I either place an order or ask the grocery manager to pull some out of the stock in the back. :-)

        • JC

I've read that if an item is on sale and it's not available, you can ask for a rain check certificate that will allow you to buy that item later at the sale price. Don't know if Publix does it or not but they're so friendly they might.

          • emilyinalabama

Yes,publix does, but when you only buy about 4 at a time like me, sometimes the need is greater than can wait until the next week when I come back to use to the rain check.

        • astridholliman11

I have actually never seen our Publix run out of frozen veggies when they go on sale. They had A TON there. They do run out of other things all the time and I find that frustrating, too. I have three boys 3 and under so any trip to the store is a major undertaking(and we're not real close, either). I do like the idea below to talk to the stock manager and have them order extra for you if they believe it's necessary. We eat a bunch of veggies and these will maybe last 4 weeks.

          • Sherry

Some stores are better at anticipating the demand. My usual store hardly ever run out of items, but today I drove 30 mins. out to another Publix because they recently started taking drug store coupons (like Rite Aid $5 off $25). Well, they didn't even have a single bag left of Valley Fresh Steamers or Planters peanuts. I was shocked since my usual store is so well stocked. I don't know if someone crazy got them all or if the store didn't order enough. I definitely got some rainchecks, which worked better for me since my freezer is already full from free Cole's bread from Winn-Dixie;-)

        • Christina

I must agree. I also live over 30 minutes away, and I went on WEDNESDAY after work. No Green Giant Veggies, no General Mills Cereal, no Lipton Tea Bags, no Colgate Wisps….on the DAY of the new ad….I was very frustrated, because I dont even go every week! Only when I have a long list. Well, lets just say my long list ended up being very short. Got rainchecks for these items, but the coupons will probaly expire before I am able to get back. Very frustrating!!!!!!!! Share people, please? I know I do.

          • Christen

I have noticed at my publix that they are usually out of a lot of the B1G1 stuff on wednesdays. I used to go after work on wednesday and i think by that point they have been very busy all day since it is the first day of the ad. I would make a list of the stuff i needed to go back for that they didnt have (very frustrated by this point) and go back on thursday at the same time and they would be FULLY STOCKED! So ultimately i have decided to shop on thursdays and have gotten everything i wanted since then with no trip back!!

            • 3monkeysmom

I thought I was the only one who noticed this. I've always shopped on Thursday or Friday. I went Wednesday last week and they were completely wiped out of the Lipton tea. No point in a raincheck, the coupon was going to expire and I live about 45 minutes away from the nearest store. Oh well. I did find everything else was in stock but I REALLY wanted that tea :-)

      • lucy2778

Ha ha ha (I'm kindly laughing). 29 bags of veggies, you gotta be kidding me lol :) Where the heck do you store them? I would have to buy one more fridge just to do that lol. Sorry but I have to agree with emilyinalabama, some people just can't get enough when there is a deal, although if you are gonna use all of these 29 bags in the next 6 weeks, good for you :)

        • astridholliman11

we go through a ton of those. They won't last 6 weeks. I like the idea of placing an order though. They had A LOT, but if everyone bought 29, they'd probably go quickly.

        • astridholliman11

Oh, and we have a deep freezer.

          • Deanna

We go through veggies VERY quickly in this house because we arent big meat eaters. I have to tell you that having Publix be cleaned out on the shelf REALLY worked in my favor today. I went to get the uncrustables and they were completely out of the ones on the advantage sale so they substituted the BIG box for it until they could get more from the warehouse. I got twice the amount for the same price. I love Publix. If they are out of something see if they will substitute maybe another size for the one they are out of.

            • 3monkeysmom

That's what I love about Publix. They acutally know what customer service is and practice it on daily basis. Several months ago, Cheerios were BOGO. We were there on the very last day of the sale and they were out of the specific size that was on sale. A manager happened to be stocking something on the aisle and asked if we needed help. Told him what I was looking for, he went and looked in the back to see if they had any more. They were out and he offered a raincheck. I declined b/c my coupon was expiring that day. He gave me the biggest box of Cheerios they had for FREE. You don't get that kind of treatment at Wal-Mart!!!

HELP…I cannot for the life of me get my Apple Mac to print coupons in grayscale. My computer default is grayscale but the coupons ALWAYS print in color. I am using up my saving in color ink! I emailed SmartSource but no help. Any help out there??? Thanks!

      • Michelle

I am sorry I don't have any help to offer, but just wanted to mention that you can get refills on color ink at Walgreens for a pretty decent price…on sale 9.99. I wasn't sure if you knew….I hope you find a resolution to your problem!

    • jennc731

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows a zip code for the Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie Mix .75/1? Thanks

      • crystalfawn

Here's how I got the coupon…Kind of a roundabout way but it works! Go to the Target Ad and hit the link to New Kraft Target Printable coupons. It will take you to the coupons which when they print they are manufacturers not Target Store. Worked for me… Let me know if it works for you :-)

        • lucy2778

          Yep, worked for me :)

    • Jennifer

I don't know if my questions are going through, but I wanted to know…can you stack a target store coupon with a manufacturer coupon and use them at publix?

      • Donna

Yes, you can use a man q and a competitor coupon on one item. Some Publix will let you use, store, competitor and man q depending on your store of course.

      • ccmomof3

Yes, you can if your store will take Target coupons. I have another question in regards to this. How do you tell if a Target coupon is a store Q or a manuf Q? Mine says Target coupon, but has a bar code. It is a $1 off Special K shakes.

        • momtothreeboys

A manuf Q will have atleast two bar codes and an address for redemption. A store coupon will have one or no barcode.

    • lucy2778

Well, it's been a great week at Publix. Spent $62 for $160 worth of groceries, and that's considering about $20 was for items not on sale (fruits and deli meats for hubby's lunch, can't live without them). I loved the free Hunt's tomato sauce, I was able to print 4 $1/3 coupons off of their website, and they were on sale for 6/$2, so I got 12 cans all free. I have such a great desire to print more from a different computer, but thinking about it, what am I gonna do with 24 cans of tomato sauce lol. No more shopping this week for me, until kids go to daycare again on Tue.

      • Carrie

I agree, what are you going to do with 24 cans of tomato sauce for your family? But any extra could be given to your local food bank. I'm not advocating clearing the shelves just to donate, but a few extra cans would surely be appreciated by your local food bank. I try to spend $5 extra each week for our food bank and I try to spend it on items around $.50 each so that way my $5 then becomes at least $10 worth of products. Our food bank has been very appreciative since giving has gone done right along with the economy.

      • Sarah

24 cans of tomato sauce? I have 6 kids, so that would go a long way for soup, chili, or sloppy joes. If it is still there on the last day of the sale, go for it! If you can't use them, donating is great, as is sharing with a friend who can use it.

        • I Have made the mistake of overstocking up and then having to throw out food that expired before we use it. The only things I go nuts on are stuff like laundry detergent, cream soups, broth, cheese that I use week. Even then, there are only so many I will take because I get 2 newspapers and don't usually buy a third.. If I had a bigger family then I would probably have a different need and my stockpiles would be larger.

    • sbdugger

Great trip to Publix! Spent 46, saved $101.
Got 18 Ragu, 8 boxes of pasta, 8 Progresso, Free Excedrin, Charmin Mega-Rolls, 3 Uncrustables, a Healthy Choice Steamer meal, Tabasco sauce, Scotties, 4 Steamin Bags, 8 Right Guard, 2 Egg Beaters, and 2 Fisher Fusions. The cashier was so sweet and was amazed! She kept saying things like: “You got that for free! That was only $.19! You are doing great! You ought to teach a class.” All in all a very fun night!

    • crystal1214

Jenny, on the coke products, rite aid has a $1.00 off Q, you can use those at Publix.

      • LaraRR

Was that in the newspaper or is it online?

Also… I am not understanding the math on the cokes. I don't see how they come out to be that cheap. Can someone explain that to me.

    • jackie

The deal on the Kraft chunk cheese is even better than we anticipated… The Target coupon is for $1/1, so If your Publix considers Target a competitor, you can get the cheese for about $.17 a package.

We go through A LOT of cheese in my house so this is what I am doing…

      (10) Kraft Cheese Chunks = $16.70
      – (10) $1/1 Target printable= $6.70
      -(5) $1/2 Kraft SS 1/24= $1.70 for 10!!!

      Heading to the store now!

      • jackie

deal worked out just like I wrote above, so if any of you are in need of cheese… it's $.34 for a pound of cheese!

      • WynetteC

How do you get that many Target coupons to print out? On my computer it will only print one which makes NO sense to me. I wonder if I should have pushed the back button after printing to get multiple copies rather than re-going through the pick list and seeing the Kraft item was no longer there.

        • DonnaSTN

Instead of going through and picking it out again after you have printed out the first one just click the back button and you won't have to go through all that process again..

        • Jackie

I am blessed with a friend that can print 8 coupons, a mom that can print 4, and the 4 that I can usually print from my home computers, so when they aren't going to use all their coupons, I ask them to print some for me. In exchange, I share coupons, deal alerts, or manufacturer checks that I may have more of or won't use. It really pays off to have buddies doing this with you!

          • WynetteC

I tried this in another browser and voila! Firefox apparently has some issues with bricks coupons and now Target! Before Target changed their coupon system, I used to be able to print a lot more than I can now.I was able to do the back button in IE just now and it worked for two prints! Maybe it will get two more from the other computer. Thanks :)

    • emilyinalabama

What day does Publix start their sales?Kroger? The three Drug stores? trying to figure out what day to go to all stores since they are all 30 miles away ;)

      • DonnaSTN

Drug stores run their ads from sun-sat, publix depending on where you are at is wed-tues or thurs – wed…not sure of kroger, don't have one near me :)

    • mparfaite

Why are coupons listed that don't apply to product? For instance, Aunt Jemima waffles on sale, but coupon is for pancake mix and syrup.

    • sixsigmamom

      Freehome, GA Publix:

Healthy Kids, Healthy Meals booklets at front door in cardboard display
MorningStar coupon book in turnstile at front door ( 5 coupons for $2/2)
Flyer for $2 off publix bread wyb Hidden valley dressing in turnstile at front door (goes great with $1 off Hidden valley q in healthy kids booklet)
Right Guard B1G1 – peelies for $.55/1 on deodorants in wire basket in front of shelf

    • joyfullysaving

I was at Publix(Clearwater Fl) today and they had a peelie on select boxes of Betty Crocker Brownie mixes. They are $1 off of one box. I got 4 boxes of brownies for .44 cents. My cashier who I always try to go to was so excited for me. I hope you all can find that at your Publix

      • SJ

Same here (east coast FL) – bought 6 boxes each with $1/1 peelies made it .34 per box! They will be perfect as dessert for the HS band fundraiser spaghetti dinner next week.

    • Valerie

Just got back from my Ga Publix and the manager gave me a really hard time about having a printed copy of the 5.00 off 20 items coupon. She insisted that I had photocopied it, even though I told her I hadn't. I ended up finding an original coupon that I hadn't known I had, and then she took that. Just FYI.

      • What's the difference between a photocopy and printing twice for this? It's a PLU code not a bar code, no limits online. I don't photocopy but I'm just wondering.

    • momtothreeboys

Printed on the inside of boxes of Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie triple chocolate chunk is a coupon for .50/2.

    • Aymie520

      **FREE YOGURT**
If you pair up the bogo Weight watchers Publix coupon in the “Healthy meals Healthy kids” booklet with the manu bogo Weight watchers, they will all be free!
Also, right above that is a coupon for bogo Frusions, use this with the $1 manu and you will get cheap smoothies!

      • Robynne in TN

Do you know which insert and date the manu BOGO coupons for weight watchers yogurt were in? Thanks!

        • Aymie520

          I cant remember :( sorry!

        • I don't know a date either, but my Mom just gave me one and it expires this Sunday.

        • LB in Georgia

          SS 1/17

    • MichelleL0128

I am new to “couponing” and still trying to figure out all the tricks. Today I went to Publix and found an Advantage Buy I don't remember seeing anywhere…Baked Frito Lay products for 2.99 with a tearpad coupon next to it for another 1.00 off. These chips are usually 3.79 a bag! Also, I went to the Customer Service Desk at the West Ashley store in Charleston (Main Road) and they gave me one of every coupon booklet (they did not have the Multiply your Meal). I wouldn't have known to find either item if not for this website. Thanks for all you do!!!

      • Alisha

Michelle, do you know what competitor coupons this Publix location accepts? I've used F/L coupons there and was wondering if they accept the Rite Aid coupons for 5/$25. I know that the Publix on Dorchester Rd. accepts Rite Aid, Walgreens and all other grocery store coupons.

        • MichelleL0128

Hi Alisha, I haven't asked about competitors coupons. I will when I visit next week!

    • guestvc

Don't miss out on the PUREX laundry detergent- on sale $4.99- ($3 off) and use the coupon from 2/21/10 B1G1 –

      Makes them $2.50 ea

      • julie

The purex isn't in my ad. Is it an unadvertised deal?

      • carolyn090

i realy wouldnt go out of my way for it ,but the liquid purex is on sale at harveys this week until tueday 2.50 . 24 to 32 loads.

        • julie

Hmm, with the BOGO coupons that is a pretty decent deal. I am near to harvey's I think I'll geet a couple. thanks!

          • carolyn090

just check your ad or give them a call to be sure they are on sale and in
stock .harveys is good abuut giving rain checks.

    • Any zipcodes for the printable Progresso soup q?

      • Mandy

Errin – I found some manufacturer progresso soup coupons on target.com….I think it was $1.10 off of 3 cans.

    • carolinesimmons

Dove for Men, 2pk. Bar Soap – $2.65
      – $1.50 off from Green Advantage Flyer (exp. 2/28, I think!)
      – $1.75 off from RP 1/31 (exp. 4/25)
= FREE! plus .60 overage (if allowed by your store)

      • Marina115

unfortunately, the publix coupon is for a 6pk not a 2pk. Too bad, cuz it would have been a great deal.

        • carolinesimmons

Was it? Hummm…the manager rung me up, told me about the store coupon and let me cut them while he was ringing. I never even read the coupon.

        • carolinesimmons

But there is also a Target coupon for $1 that you can use at Publix, if your store allows, giving a .10 overage.

    • I'm going to frame these and hang them when my husband's at work and see how long it takes him to notice when he gets home!

    • daphnegticola

what does “SS” stand for? sorry i am new at this.

      • crystalfawn

It stands for Smart Source which is a coupon insert that comes in the Sunday newspaper. RP stands for Red Plum which may also come in your Sunday Newspaper. The date you see is the date of the newspaper that it came in. Be sure to check out the Getting Stated Guide at the top of this page. Scroll down and go to the Coupon FAQ and you will find a coupon lingo guide…very helpful!! Hope this was helpful too :-)

hey all – just randomly checked coupons.com again and the uncrustables seem to have reloaded – I just printed 2 earlier in the week so my limit should have been met – but it let me print 2 new ones for this week!

Thanks kmoon, I tried to print earlier and couldn't even find it and this morning after I read your post, it was on the first page. I wouldn't have checked again before I left to go shopping so thanks for letting us know!

    • Nikole

I found the Right Guard gel deoderant had a 55 cent peelie on it. I didn't notice initially until the cashier went ahead and peeled them off and scanned them then also scanned my $2 off 2 coupon. I got 2 for $.45 each! My husband uses this deo, so I'm really excited about that!

      • Meredith

Mine did the same thing–although I even told her I had another coupon for them. She said it doesn't matter. I was soo excited too.

    • Amy

If you're a member of the Publix Baby Club, there is a $1 off Juicy Juice coupon that you can combine with the manufacturer's coupon.

    • Dawn

Hi everyone, I am in my 1st month of this and so far so good. Quick question – Publix Store Coupon for Progresso Soup – 1.00 off purchace of 4. Limit one purchase per coupon per customer. I have 4 of these coupons plus several manufacture's coupons. Can I only use 1 of the publix coupons each trip, or can I use them all (with a purchase of 16 cns)? Hopefully I didn't confuse everyone. :)

      • Snowski824

Some stores are only allowing one coupon per order and some are taking as many as you have. You could ask in customer service.

      • Sherry

I used more than one of those at once.

    • Aly B

Ruffies color kitchen bags, 24 count, are $2.19. There is a $.50/1 in 12/13 RP and $1/1 Publix cpn in the yellow advantage flyer. Combine both coupons, if doubled, and they are only $.19! The RP coupon expires Sunday, 2-28-10.

      • hsvmom

Waaaaaaa!!! No Ruffies coupons in the Huntsville, AL paper. I am so tired of not getting the great coupons!

        • Melissa

Me too! Huntsville paper must have much less coupons than the rest of the south. The problem is, I'm not sure how to get a better paper. Did you know you can go to the times and I think it's called the “Redstone Rocket,” but it has a Smart Source in it and it's FREE. It comes out every Wednesday.

      • WynetteC

Thank you so much for posting about this. I totally was unaware of the smaller bags being included plus I had mis-filed this particular coupon in the wrong spot of my binder and could not find it! But I was so happy when I finally did find it! I was able to use my coupons last night to get a few bags for our kitchen. They smell great and I am so happy you posted about it. :D

I am starting a new process that I should have been doing all along, I am now cutting out store coupons and filinf them with their matches. (Duh!) Now I see where this benefits the shopper. ;)

    • newcouponer

Publix has the 4 pack Frusion Smoothies for $2.50. In the Healthy Meals coupon booklet there is a coupon for buy 1 Frusion 4 pack and get 1 free. I used that with 2 $1.00 coupons that were in this Sundays paper and got both for 50 cents!!

      • hsvmom

Is it okay to use both manu. coupons when you are getting one free even if the BOGO is a store coupon?

        • DonnaSTN

Yes, if your store will allow it. It should because you are purchasing 2 items and not really getting one for free.

        • newcouponer

They let me with no problem!!!

    • Laura

There are lots of Bayer low dose and other varieties on in-store-special for $1.50 as you noted. There is an in-store dispenser right in front of them that gives a $1.25/1 coupon (also for Midol, which doesn't appear to be on sale). So .25 for a 30-ct bottle of baby aspirin.

    • RozR

FYI, I just got off the phone with the Store manager for my publix (I had to call and complain about the cashier I had last night, who was not a happy camper about all the coupons i had and gave me grief the whole time about how people try to cheat the system *grrr* and then she didn't add $4 worth of my target coupons) anyway I asked about the booklets -go on a stocking spree and the Multiply your meals- since they didn't have any at the store yesterday and he said he just got an email from Corporate that they all ended up at the central warehouse in ATL by mistake which he sais supplies ATL and FL and he said they are all slowly being sent out to the stores and ours should be there by next week, so if it hasn't shown up at yours yet, no worries it will.

      • ladybugsmom

Thanks RozR! I was just at my publix in GA today and they didn't have any either. I will try next week.

      • JumpingJupiter

Yikes…what store was this so I dont go there?

    • Mom in FL

Bayer Asprin – Wags Instant Value Q $1 can be stacked with $1 manufacturer Q for 50 cent overage! Wags Q exp 2-27-10 and is for 325mg 24 ct and Children's 36 ct.

Bradfordville Publix in Tallahassee, FL has their Revlon beauty tools on clearance, many in the $0.79-$1.19 range. There is a $1 off manu. coupon out there to make these free plus overage or v. cheap.

    • ladybugsmom

WoooHooo!!! Another great day shopping at Publix. Spent $54 and saved $95.00!!!! The cashier was even proud!! I used the $5.00 off 20 items and the $1.00 of progresso, pillsbury and green giant publix viva italia sale coupons. I could have saved even more but they did not have the multiply your meals coupon book in the store yet. I'm in Mcdonough, GA. Thank You Thank You Thank You Jenny!!!

    • Carolin

Expired coupons at Publix? I have a $1 off coupon for Pam Spray from an old advantage flyer. It's expired, but I thought that I heard somewhere that Publix will accept their expired coupons. Does anyone know if this is true. Thanks for the help.

      • Maybe if it is within a couple days, but once the LU# is disconnected/turned off in the system they can do nothing with it. I thought I had used all of my January baby club Q's and then last week found a diaper one. I asked at the desk and the manager was standing there and said if the register would accept the code he'd take it. But, it would not.

    • carolinesurfs

I just left the Publix on Dorchester Road – I was looking for the $1 peelies on the BC brownie mixes when one of the stockers handed me two he'd peeled off. I noticed he had a whole pallet of boxes with peelies on them, and was stacking the boxes on an endcap. I waited until he was done stocking, didn't want to be pushy and grab boxes, then I realized he'd taken ALL the peelies off ALL the boxes. I was more than a little upset, clearly the employees didn't want us getting the boxes for 0.20 :( even though we know they'll get reimbursed for it. All in all it left a very bad taste in my mouth for that location, thankfully it's the one that is furthest from me so I don't have to go back unless absolutely necessary.
I will probably check the Goose Creek, Trolley Rd and Central Ave locations to see if they have the boxes with peelies left on them.

    • hsvmom

Wow! A great trip to Publix tonight. Spent $20.18 before taxes an save $130.17!!! Thank you Jenny, I could never have done this without you! Can't wait to see you in Huntsville!

    • carolyn090

i have a really funny story .first let me say thank to you all ,for the advice on shoping in savannah .i did go shoping after my dentist app. i was slightly swolen and a little sore but i went anyway .i always take two toddlers w/ me when i shop ,so to avoid alot of trouble i alow them to pick out a few things small toys ,or candy .i have told my husband that i could save about 10.00 to 15.00 per store if i had a sitter for them. i just couldnt pass up the chance to go shopping without children,so off we went to the nearest publix . i thought aaron would just look at some mags while waiting for me ,im guessing they dont realy have alot of mens magazines, because he was back at my side in a few seconds.so my dream shopping trip proceded like this … do you think this is any good ? have we ever tried this before ? can i get this? so a few cans of cheese wiz and alot of crazy grill seasonings not to mention alot silly over priced single serv.snacks and drinks i will not buy. my total 198. after coupons about 95.00 only 20.00 was my stuff . thats 6 times what our girls spend .love ya ,darling .shoping with you may be less stressfull but cost far to much.

      • Mary

Haha! I can so relate! My husband does the exact same thing!

Hi! the jimmy dean coupon is not working for us. Can someone tell us what to do?

      • the facebook one? You register, and it mails it to your email address. Then you take that code and enter it into the code box on the Jimmy Dean page. THEN you get your coupons.

        • susan

Thanks so much! I will check it out. Thanks again!

    • jamiesmithwick

I am really bummed!! I have been to three Publix stores in my town and cannot find any of the booklets or coupons list above. Are any of the booklets available through the mail or am I just out of luck?

    • laura

Use the 3.00 sunday paper coupon plus the 1.00 off peelie on the box(free plus 20 cents). they also have schick titanium razors for 5.50, can use the sunday paper 4.00 coupon to make then 1.50. sorry, dont know which paper those were out of.

My publix in Kennesaw, Ga is really frustrating me also. A lot of the stuff is not B1G1 or it is only one specific item of the brand and no tearpads anywhere. I walked the store twice and none. I love the customer service but frustrating when you have a tone of coupons and cant use half of them because they are out or is not the type of product you thought it was and my family wont eat it. OH well I will try again next week.

    • Renee

The other day I was shopping at Publix and I guess the manager saw that I had a bunch of coupons I was working with as I shopped. He came up to me and said :I noticed you are using coupons, do you have these?” and handed me a bunch of publix coupons that I didn't have. One was a $5.00 off $30.00 or more and then some various others from the lullaby club etc. I was so excited and touched. As stupid as it may seem, it certainly makes me want to keep going the THAT publix!

      • crystalfawn

Good Public Relations…That's one smart manager! That store would get my loyalty too and great word of mouth advertising too boot. :-)

      • irisfaith

He's like your very own Savings Angel!! I think I would have wanted to hug him!

    • Lisa

There is also a coupon on the inside of the Betty Crocker Brownie box. .50/2

    • Tammy

I just went to Publix (St. Pete, FL) & my bill was $125.95…after coupons I paid $47.60…I saved $78.35! Not too bad considering Publix in Fla does NOT double…man if they did I would have paid nothing probably!

Has anyone tried the World Market “Save $10 on your purchase of $30 or more” coupon on this web page at Publix in Charleston? (West Ashely) A clerk told my husband last week that they were going to stop taking the “extreme” or “crazy” coupons from stores who are not really competitors and specifically named World Market. But that is a good deal and I wanted to know if anyone had tried it this week yet. Thanks!! Alison

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Summerville store no longer takes them because “they only compete in wine, and the coupon isn't valid towards wine.” HTH

      • Jenny

I know all 3 Publix stores in Summerville do NOT take the World Market coupons. I called all three asking for their coupon policies, and was told that World Market is not on their list of competitors. After talking to managers at each one, I was told they *will* take it, if there is $30 (or whatever the $10/xx is) worth of wine in the transaction, as that is the only thing they feel they compete with World Market. Hope this helps!

    • deeroddy

I went to Publix for the first time last Tuesday. I loved it. I spent $121.xx and saved $250.xx. My husband measured my receipt and it was over 8' long. lol

      • lucy2778

Holy crap. Never seen a receipt that long! Good job!!!

    • Nelanie

I shopped at the PUBLIX in Lake Oconee, GA last night. I spent $56 and saved $78. We are now all stocked up on GG canned vegetables and BB brownie mixes. IT's a fabulous store…always well stocked and the employees are wonderful. My cashier and the front-end manager were amazed by my savings. They announced it to the other shoppers. I have to drive about 30 minutes to get there but it's well worth the trip!

    • gatorgal11

I went to Publix last night and spent 126.xx and saved 233.xx. I was happy with my results!!

    • shyone750

I was at publix and I used a Walgreens coupon for $2 off listerine and then I used a publix coupon for $1 off listerine and it came out to just 99 cents for the listerine. I then had my mom do the same thing on a seperate transaction and the computer called for a manager override and the manager said you can not used another store coupon and a publix coupon together so the cashier used the bigger of my two coupons so my mom got it for $2 (this is the 1 liter bottle I am talking about here folks). The difference between my transactions and hers is that I had other items and my mom only had that one item with those two coupons. The cashier said sometimes depending on how much you buy it will ask for a manager override on coupons. Is this true? Was it just an error in the system that it accepted my publix coupon and my walgreens coupon on my item? I noticed in the coupon rules above that it does not mention NOT being able to use a publix coupon with another store coupon. Anybody know the trick to that?

      • It is rare to be able to use a store Q AND a competitor Q together. But aside from that, if your # of coupons is higher than your # o f items, the register beeps and asks for mgr. approval. As long as your coupons are all valid toward that purchase, then there is no problem and they happily key in their code to override. If you want to get in and out quickly OR you don't like that feeling of having to call a manager, make sure you have the same 3 of items and coupons. For me, I don't mind if they have to call them over, as I know my purchases and coupons are all ok. I'd rather not spend any extra $ on “filler” type items.

      • Jenny

After calling all three Publix stores in the Summerville, SC area to find out coupon policies, I was told that you are allowed three coupons per item:

        (1) Man Coupon
        (1) Publix Coupon
        (1) Competitor Coupon

This may just be these stores' prerogative. Each of them had different lists of who they consider competitors.

However, I have had to receive a manager override when my number of coupons is larger than my number of items. It's usually no biggie; they just come over, skim the coupons, put in their code, and we're all on our way.

I would just call the store directly and ask what their coupon policy is. That way, you can know which coupons you can use for your items. Good luck!

        • socoupon

I've been told at my Publix that competitor coupons count as store coupons so I can't use up to three Qs per item. Lucky you!

Blockbuster Kiosk inside Publix free night rental code GOLIVE expires 3/3/10

    • I saved $168.26 today and spent a HUGE .44 cents!! NO KIDDING!!! I had like 54 coupons matched with sales and BOGO's. I had overage from 2 Sundown vitamin D & 3 Johnson 1st aid travel kits. I got a $25 gift card from switching my meds to their pharmacy and my total was 25.44. So, 44 cents OOP!

      Bought 16 GG veggies
      4 Muir Glen tomatoes
      2 Pam
      1 Uncrustables
      Organic Valley Milk
      2 treasure Cove cheese
      2 Kraft cheese
3 small blocks Phily cream cheese
      2 Right Guard
      2 Dove+Men bar soap
      Healthy Balance juice-2
      4 Chili Master chili
      3 Travel First aid kits
      2 Sundown
4 protein bars (forget the brand but had $1 and BOGO coupons)
      International Delight creamer
      4 packs tuna
      box raisins
…….. is that all? can't remember any more. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!!

      • lucy2778

Good job!!! I'm happy for you :) I also went to publix today, spent $8.89 on a LOT of stuff. Can't believe it!

      • irisfaith

hey there! How do you get overage on the Sundown? We have recently started taking our vitamins every single day, and I am a little concerned about how we are going to pay for more when these run out.

        • I bought 2 Vitamin D at 2.99 each. The Adv. Buy Q is for $6/2 which means they are free. There have been $1 Sundown Q's in the inserts ,as well as there being one on coupons(dot)com right now. This makes for $2 overage. The ones I bought also had $1 peelies, so I had $4 overage. There are also links posted on the adv. buy page (I believe) for $3/2. There are Vitamin B12 and Calcium that are 3.59 -3.99. If you need a specific one , then the stacked coupons make for a good deal, but if it is simply for overage, then go for the lowest priced.

      Sure Deod-2.39
use a Publix Green Flyer coupon -$1.00
      SS coupon-Sure Men's deo. -$1.50
      ~overage of .11
Thanks Jenny for all you do!!

    • Jennifer

I've got a ? When it says”Limit one purchaseper coupon per customer”. Like on the Muir Glenn or the progresso products does that mean I can only use 1 each of those coupons? Or does it mean as long as I buy 2 Muir Glenn(1 coupon) , then 2 Muir Glenn(another coupon)?

So did I confuse anyone? Because I'm good at that.

      • DonnaSTN

Depends on the store, cashier, managers you have at your store. I was able to use 4 1/2 for the green giants publix q. If you want to play it safe as the CS before you start. You can use the publix q and 2 man qs if that's what you are asking.

    • stefluvs2sign

Depending on where you live in today's Sunday paper there was a coupon for the Dan-o-ninos yogurt $1 off which makes it 67cents and also a $1 and $1.50 off Sure deodorant coupon when combined with the MARCH INTO SAVINGS $1 Publix coupon for the deodorant final price is either 39 cents or a profit of 11 cents depending on which coupon you use.

    • AH9206

If you buy Iams dog food: First, make sure you always go for the P&G samples- I got a $4/off Iams in a Tampax sample and a $3 off in a Pampers sample package. Also, there is a FL coupon for $2/$5 “pet aisle” purchase. That, added with the sale price and the Publix store coupon for $3 (Stock Up & Save Flyer) makes it $6.99 for a $17.99 bag!

    • GA_Buckeye

Has anyone in north Atlanta seen the “Multiply Your Meals” booklet ? I sure can't find it! Thanks!

      • sebastiansmommy

I found mine in the Vinings Publix. They still have a lot after the display being there over a week.

      • ajkraft

I'm in Alpharetta, and just found it in the Bethanny Bend location yesterday.

    • DonnaSTN

For any Cleveland, TN shoppers out there, Cookes has a flyer that has the $1/2 Ragu (exp 3/15) along with some other coupons. They are all manufacture coupons. I found them at the back of the store on this little set up they have in front of the meat department.

    • Jessica

I went to Publix in Goodlettsville, Tn the other day with my 4.00 off any Knox Product coupon. I purchased the knox gelatin for 1.39 and was excited to be getting the overage. The cashier took my coupon and product to the manager, the manager said it was ok to do the transaction. She came back to the register and was discussing the situation when another cashier overheard. They wound up deciding to only give me the 1.39 off instead of the face value of the coupon. I have sooo much trouble with this Publix.

    • Linda K

The store manager told me about this one – Green Giant canned vegetable are B1G1 this week with the Viva Italian coupon there is a -$1/2 corn and the $5. off 20 items coupon. Buy 20 cans of Green Giant corn at $1.29, they are B1G1 so you are paying for 10 cans $12.90, use the -$1/2 coupon five times (the cashier did this for me with only 1 coupon), and the -$5./20 items coupon. OOP $2.90 for 20 cans of corn. I gave 10 cans to the church food bank.

      • AmyN

I did the same thing but with muir glen tomatoes (free) and the corn at .14 cents per can – gave to the local food bank.

        • Dianne

Can you explain how you did that so cheaply with the Muir Glen, please? I love Muir Glen and have not priced the tomatoes at Publix this week. Are they B1G1?

          • stefluvs2sign

They were last week but not now, at least not at my Publix in St. Pete.

          • AmyN

The sauce is 0.89 cents. Use store coupon and man. coupon.

      • stefluvs2sign

I got 20 cans of the corn and 3 packs of the Buddig lunch meat and paid 35 CENTS!

      • Janice

I did the same as the above deal.. 20 cans of GG corn ($1.25ea..B1G1) used 10 $1/2.. then then $5 off 20 items= free with $2.50 overage..!! What a deal!!

      • Toni

How did you use the Viva coupon? Mine says $1/2 GG mushrooms, asparagus or specialty corn and the specialty corn wasn't on sale. Was the specialty corn on sale at your Publix?

        • AmyN

the picture of corn on the coupon is the same corn that is BOGO. My Publix took the Q. for the BOGO corn.

      • MrsJJ

Ok am i doing my math wrong? $1/2 couldnt u use 10? since u have 20 cans?

    • I wanted to let everyone know. I went to the Publix store on Tom Hill Blvd. in Macon, GA last night (Feb. 28th). They are not accepting anymore Rite Aid coupons that say $3 off $15 or $5 off $25, CVS extra care bucks, Walgreen’s or Kroger w/Kroger plus card coupons. (I think any coupons that are money off your total.) They said there was the coupon workshop with about 150 people attending on Saturday in Macon, so they were changing their policy. I told them they really need to post it in writing on a door or somewhere, so people would know. I complained to the manager and they ended up giving me my $3 off because I said I based what I bought on using the coupon. I am really disappointed. I am not sure if the other Macon Publix is changing what they are doing also, but I wanted to let everyone know.

    • Linda K

For the Merritt Island, FL Publix at SR520 the manager told me for this weekend Sat./Sun., March 6/7 all Kellogg's cereal will be 50% off.

    • AmyN

The new Publix green advantage flyer is in stores! Some good deals and some repeats!

    • edna65

      please help….what is a tearpad

      • DonnaSTN

Tearpad is a coupon on a pad near the item that they are trying to sell. You just ripe off how many you need.

    • EB

Question for the coupon experts — Too many times I leave the check out and review my receipt only to realize that not all of my coupons have been rung up (maybe they stuck together, cashier was in a rush, who knows). I started counting my coupons before handing them to the cashier so I can tell quickly if they have all been scanned before I pay. This last time, I was counting the coupon deductions on the register monitor as the cashier was scanning them. I handed her 16, only 13 were deducted. I politely asked if she got them all and she said she had. Of course, there was a line behind me. I know you all understand my frustration. I probably would not have bought those other items if I didn't have the coupons. How do you handle this? First, how do you make sure they all ring up? Second, what do you do when you realize some are missing? Thanks

      • selinaj

Ergh… I understand your frustration. That has happened to me a few times also, thus the reason I started counting the coupons and TELLING the cashier how many coupons I have as I hand them to her. Since I've started doing that I haven't had any “missing” coupons YET. Although… one time at Rite Aid I was certain I had handed the cashier a $3 off coupon and it didn't show on the receipt so I asked her if I handed it to her… she opened up her drawer to look for it and showed me all the coupons I had handed her. Still don't know what happened to that Q…I must've dropped it or it was sticking to another one like glue or something. But anyway… I would TELL the cashier how many you have. It has been a big help to me. I hate it when one gets missed… a dollar is a dollar! or whatever the amount! :)

      • steph_in_AL

I lay each coupon on top of the item it goes with. If I am buying anything that is too small or oddly shaped to balance the coupon, then I hold those back till the end and hand over each item with said coupon. This makes it easy for them to know that I did actually buy the item, that the coupon is actually for the item bought and I know that each coupon is scanned, also it is easier when I get home to make sure that my bill is correct because the coupon amount for each item is immediately under the “retail” price. I have had many, many cashiers thank me for doing it this way, and of course I always explain that I just do it to make it easier for them! *wink, wink*

    • zoesmom

didn't see the .50 off lipton tea bags in rp 1/31 anyone else see it?

      • 3monkeysmom

The .50 one I had expired yesterday :-(

Publix has Sure deodorant for $2.39. In the in store flyer titled MARCH INTO SAVINGS there is a $1 off coupon. In yesterday's paper there was a $1 off coupon for any Sure deodorant (FP=39 cents) and a $1.50 coupon for the mens deodorant (FP=11 cents profit) I bought 4 deals tonight (2 men 2 women) so the 22 cents profit came off of the 78 cents due for the womens…wow total 56 cents for 4 sticks of deodorant.

    • couponkelly75

On my first week couponing, I spent $137.33 and saved $146.96. Thanks, Jenny!

    • PW

I wish you would advise people to only buy what they and their family need. When each person buys up more than their share of the free or cheap items, they are severely limiting the stock for the rest of us. Its a nice idea that you are giving it to your church or food bank or neighbors, but think about those out there who can't always make it the morning the sale starts. I keep coming upon store after store where the “deals” are depleted – sometimes by 8:00 the first morning of the sale. Lets think of your other “coupon moms” out there and buy only what your family needs.

      • AN

If you have to buy 20 items to use the $5/20, and you give half to the local food bank or church – you believe that is wrong? You think we should only think of “coupon moms” and not the needy or indigent? It is my right to disagree, but then again, I'm a giver.

        • abc

selfish. but nice attempt to cover it up. if you were so concerned with others, donate the money you saved to charity. PW … I am with you … frustrating when people are buying 40 sticks of deodorant.

          • AN

I do both, and will continue to do so. You obviously don't know the definition of the word selfish.

          • PTL

The coupon required you to buy 20 items. If you planned to use it, you had to buy 20 cans of corn, tomatoes, etc. If that frustrates you, then quit couponing. You don't make any sense – you have to abide by the terms stated on the coupon.

      • MBD

Does your Publix offer rain checks? That is what I do when they are out of the special sales items. Then I go in the day after the sale ends and they are usually restocked and I still get it for the sale price? I did not know that Publix offered rain checks until about 6 months ago.

    • Vivian

Could someone explain to me how Publix can double the printable coupons when they specifically say NOT to double or triple them. The deals don't work as well if they are not doubled. Some cashiers double them anyway but others do not. Isn't this using the coupon incorrectly if I allow them to double it?

    • Anonymous

I didn’t know where to post this on this website but here is a freebie for Cream of Wheat (you don’t have to choose the Sponge Bob one LOL)

    • Vivian V

    • toddandjoy

I have a question. Does anyone know if Publix will accept the coupons that print out of your Winn Dixie receipt, that say 10.00 off of a 50.00 purchase. It is a local competitor of ours, but didn't know if those coupons count.

    • irisfaith

I attempted to stock up on Wisps today at Publix with my 5 coupons from the 2/7 inserts. They were already expired! Bummer! I was SO looking forward to throwing those in my school bag in place of the full-size toothbrush and toothpaste that I have been lugging around. I would never have imagined that they would expire less than 3 weeks from when we got them. I didn't attempt to have a manager push them through though because I had a lady behind me huffing and puffing about the fact that I pulled out coupons in the first place. She had 2 items – could have used the MULTIPLE open express lanes!!
