    • Andi

Thank you so much! I don’t know how you do it but I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have this on Tuesday night! I can put our weekly list together tonight and start gathering my coupons so it’s ready for morning. I do our weekly shopping on Wednesday after teaching and this makes it so much easier for me.

Thank you for all that you do!

    • Tina

Ditto to all of the above!!! You have changed my family’s life forever!!! Thank you so much!

      A couple more..
For the Pup-Peroni Dog Treats, 5.6 oz, at $3.69 ($1.84), there is a Publix coupon for $1 off the Pup-Peroni in the Savings for All Seasons spiral booklet that was out last summer.

Also, wouldn't the .75 Heinz coupon from the inserts still be good (can't remember what week it was from)

      • Hope

The heinz coupon expired on the 31st.

      • hsvmom

It would be nice if Heinz would have made their coupon good for more than 4 weeks!!!

    • Looks like a pretty awesome week for Publix… I needed this after just discovering that I lost my coupon organizer, which had receipts I needed for a $10 rebate, $20 Rite Aid Gift Certificate, and Free Huggies Jumbo Pack Diaper coupon in it… among all my regular coupons… I think I must have left it in the grocery cart at Walmart on Sunday 'cause we searched the entire house and car and could not find it :(

BTW, I like the new comments thing and how you can link to an account like Facebook. :)

      • Hope

I did the same thing the other night..left mine in a walmart cart and did not realize it until I got home. Luckily I called and someone had turned it in at the service desk…thank God!!! Have you tried to call and see if someone found it? Hope it turns up! :)

        • Yeah, I called and the associate said she didn't see it… did not sound like she really even did much to check, so I might go in person and ask a manager.

          • Sheila W

I always put my name address and phone number on my coupon binder in hopes that someone would turn it in if it was found.

      • dibeedee

I feel your pain!!!!! It might be worth a try to contact RA to see if they could do something similar to a stop check process & issue you a new GC since I think they are individually coded. Better yet, I hope your coupon organizer shows up.

      • Kellie

I also did the same thing….left my coupon organizer in cart at a Wal-Mart…..checked several times with customer service, to no avail. UGH!!!

        • I found it at Walmart… and it never made it to customer services. As I walked in to ask CS again in person, I saw it on the Greeter's Cart and was like, “Hey, I think that's mine,” opened it looked inside and sure enough it was mine and I got it back complete with all the coupons, certificates, and receipts!!!

P.S., This is Damien Barber from earlier… Facebook connect is not working currently.

          • Angel_in_Charleston

This is my worst nightmare (losing my coupon binder). So glad you found yours, and that it was intact!

            • Thanks. It would not have been so much of a disaster had there not been so much high value stuff in it… a bummer to start over again, but still not a disaster… I am just glad I found it!!!!

I also got the free diapers today and sent off for my $10 rebate… now if I can just find a good opportunity to use my $20 rite-aid gift certificate!!!

      • ugh that's awful!

I once picked up an Advantage Buy flier that had hundreds of coupons tucked into it, each one clipped by hand from the newspaper. I felt so bad for whoever had left it, but I put the coupons to good use!

    • pharmSCgirl

I also like the new comment format. Publix looks like they will have another good week. They are getting better and better. Bi-Lo who?

    • CouponNERD

What zip works for the John Frieda coupon?

      • SouthernSavers

        I found it under 45215

        • Carla

Using that zip I still only see $2.00 off (1) root awakening AND $5.00 off (2) root awakening. Are these the ones you are referring to?

    • Marina115

Like the new comments!! But I think the boxes from before made it a little easier to read. But maybe that's just me. :)

      • SouthernSavers

Boxes are easy to add now if others miss them it can be done!

        • seacoastmom

          I like this format!!

The Publix penny item in Summerville SC is Publix Sugar!! Wohoo!!

        • Beth

Yes! Please do! And thanks for all you do!

        • Jessica

I like the new app. Just give it a while and everyone should “like” helpful hints and shopping tips. The boxes were helpful in keeping up with who replies to who. If somehow you could integrate the box system with the new comment system, well that would be the ultimate! Thanks jenny!

        • Janet

          I also prefer the boxes

      • Amy

I think the boxes are easier to read also! : )

        • TONJA

      • kkeelin

I agree with Marina. I miss the boxes. Thanks for all you do!

    • accidentalacer

Brand new to couponiing. Never could figure out how it was done, nor did I really care until my 15 year old daughter started driving a month ago. Seems like all I do is hand her $20 bills and fill her tank with gas…ugh.

So…last Monday I pulled up the Publix website and found that they had a B1G1 list for the week. Really? Why didn't I know about this? Then I found some printable coupons. Okay, I'll give it a try. Went to the store for a few things I needed that were on the list, gave the checkout lady my coupons, and…well…it knocked $14.00+ off my bill. That was soooo cool.

I have to say I was really ticked, though, to find they had changed the penny item since I had just learned of it a couple of months prior.

Anyway, my sister told me about Southern Savers and I've been studying your site and printing/clipping coupons ever since. Even though it took 2 1/2 hours AT the store tonight, I came out of Publix having saved $121.50, bought things we normally use, and got to stock up on toilet paper!!! My favorite buy was 4 boxes of FiberOne Cereal worth over $17.00 for which I paid less than $6.00.

I've always told my husband that shopping was a sport, but, this takes it to a whole new level!

Thanks for a wonderful training tool, great links, and your generosity in sharing your knowledge and expertise. My savings at the grocery store tonight more than paid for the new pair of shoes I bought yesterday :)

    • LD

There was a Publix store coupon that came in my newspaper Insert for the Kraft cheese it is also a $1/2 so combine with the mangQ $1/2 so combined it would make each $1
Is this a good price for stocking up on Kraft cheese ? I live in FL so no doubles here .

      • stirfry101

$1 is an OK price for cheese. Since you are in florida, I would advise waiting to stock up until it goes 3 for 5. There are always some 1 off 2 out there bringing it down to more like .75 a bag

        • rhoadesaa

I agree that there might come a better price. They often do the 3/$5 thing, but I am worried that the Kraft coupons will expire before then…..decisions, decisions! :) LD–my paper had the Publix Kraft Q's too, so I am planning to stack them to get the cheese for $1 a bag.

Love the new format–you're an ANGEL, Jenny!

P.S. I am a teacher and we discussed your strategies in a P.T.A. meeting last night. The parents want me to see if you'd come do a seminar at our school!

          • Amy B.

I saw a new blinkie today for $1/2 Kraft or CrackerBarrel Natural Cheese. They expire 3/31/10 so if you find them that gives you almost 2 months to wait for a sale.

      • cindersga

If you have Krogers they are still on the Mega sale and you can get them for $.49!

    • LD

Testing I made a comment asked a ? but dont see it posted lol not sure what I am doing

    • Ashley

If your store considers Walgreens a competitor there was a $4 off Aleve in their ad this week.

      • kemccarthy

I spotted that same deal, but just called my local Publix (Lexington, SC) and they dont accept CVS, Walgreens etc…. Bummer, that would have been .50 cents for Aleve….

        • Denise

I always bring the coupon and ask the manager. Their policy is not to accept them, but the manager always overrides it for people who ask. Couldn't hurt to try at your stores.

      • ziggy34434

That is off 80 or 100 ct and the Publix sale is for 40 or 50 ct.

    • cpnhottie

      Interesting new comment style.

    • anonymous

Can’t seem to find the Marzetti coupon when following the link. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for all you do, SouthernSavers.

      • Amy

        try zip code 90210

        • anonymous

          Thanks Amy!

    • amy hanson

Publix has Heinz ketchup this week on sale as I saw above. I found a coupon to save 75 cents off any 1 Heinz ketchup in 1/3 ss.

      • hsvmom

Hey Amy! Please note that the Heinz coupon has already expired (1/31/10). I emailed Heinz that it would be nice if they made their coupons last longer than 28 days!

        • dillard_christina

Good idea! I have seen some coupons lately that are only good for three or four weeks!

    • lanemom2

Don't forget to look in the Betty Crocker muffin mix boxes for a .75/2 coupon. They were on sale a few weeks ago and I didn't even realize there were coupons inside until I made muffins this morning!

    • maryc4

Does anyone have a zip for the Smithfield bacon?

      • Kathy

        30107 will work.

      • jodyn

I've tried 34117 and 90301, neither work. Help!

      • jodyn

        29401 got it!

      • christie_b

I just tried and it stated that the print limit had been reached already. Bummer for those of us that just wanted to print one. ;(

        • Natalie559

I just got one from 29401 so I'd try again with that

    • Kathy

Target has printable Target Web Coupons for $1 off with purchase of both 9-oz or larger Tostitos chips and 15-oz or larger Frito Lay jar dip, and $0.50 off with purchase of two 2-ltr. Pepsi. Both of these can be use towards the mail in rebate that you list under the Pepsi deal.

    • amy

I cannot find the GLAD coupon in 1/3 RP. I found a Hefty coupon? I had 5 inserts from different markets. Are you sure it is in RP 1/3?

      • Anonymous

Sometimes it is worth using couponmom.com for this kinda thing. You have to log in, but if you live in the SE the searchable coupon database is really nice for not driving yourself crazy looking for coupons that aren’t there. (also nice when you need to find a coupon for something not on sale)

        • zombiemommy

I love that database since there are SO many different coupons between different areas of the south…

      • Daphne

I like to use this database: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/coupon.php. It’s pretty extensive and I’m pretty sure you don’t have to sign up/log in to use it.

    • Christy

Thanks! I use this site every week and save lots of money because of it!! I’m excited about the Kraft Mac & Cheese (my kids favorite meal!) sale!

    • Dee Dee

I was hoping that Velveeta was BOGO this week. Seemed logical since game day is upon us, but you never know.

I’ll comment on the comment change later, as I get stuck in a rut and find it hard to adapt sometimes. Let me use it a couple days and then I’ll tell you what I think about it. :) Today I don’t care for it… Later on… we’ll see. :)

      • Yes! With the Rotel that was on sale from last week, queso dip for this weekend will be a must have!

    • Anonymous

If your store takes Target coupons, there is a $.50 off Target coupon for Sobe Lifewater, can also use with this BOGO coupon for free Sobe Lifewater!!

    • Natalie Clayton

I went to Publix yesterday and tried to use 2 Food Lion coupons and I was told they only take Bilo, Ingles, and Bloom coupons. I live in Mauldin, SC. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • asknight76

It just depends on if they have a Food Lion nearby. The store has to be within a certain distance to be considered a competitor. My Publix on Batesville in Greer doesn’t take Food Lion either…..or Target.

      • valeriecoupon

I also shop at Publix in Mauldin, they have not taken my Food Lion qs for months! I have asked two different managers and they both said only the grocery stores within Mauldin are considered their competitors. The Publix on Hwy 290 in Reidville/Moore does accept FL. I have not asked or tried at the Fairview Rd. store but I have been told they do not.

        • Fairview Rd doesn't either. I was told the store has to be within 5 miles. They do accept Bloom though!

    • joytiffany

I like the new comment site, you just keep on improving this place, Thank you!!!!

    • mcoupons

      Regarding this offer
Dixie Plates or Bowls, 20-48 ct, at $2.93 ($1.46)
-$1/2 Dixie Plates or Bowls RP 1/24 (makes it 96¢)
I do not see how it makes it $.96 because you have to but 2 to get $1 off so isn’t that $1.93?

Also, last week with the ranch dressing, B1G1- I had to get the second one otherwise pay full price for the one. I thought B1G1’s, you didn’t have to get the second one…I am confused.

      • Megan A.

The “(makes it…)” price is always per item, so they’re .96 each. You’ll be buying two, so you’ll pay 1.93.
If you live in Florida or coastal Georgia, Publix BOGO deals are true BOGOs, so you’ll have to buy two. Sometimes it’s annoying, but it’s really nice when you have a BOGO coupon to match with the sale b/c you get both items free.

      • andi

It makes EACH plate or bowl pack 96 cents. So, yes, a total of $1.93 since you’re buying two :)

      • staceyb

You would have to buy two to use the coupon. It would take 50 cent off each one. Normally you would not have to buy two to get the B1G1 price but I do think they can reserve the rights to only give you the sale price if you buy both. Maybe it was just your Publix? I got all of my B1G1s half off only buying one of them.

      • stirfry101

Sounds like you live in FL. In florida they have true BOGO, (buy one get the second free) so you must buy two to get the deal. It is because they own the whole state. For the rest of us we only have to buy one and will get it half price.

The .96 cents is the price per item after all coupons and discounts which is the price you need to look at when deciding if something is a good deal or not.

      • brandielee1

i donjt know if you live in florida or not…but i do…and if you live in florida you have to buy both item to get the bogo deal…however if you go to customer service with you receipt they will let you go back and get the other bogo items for free. good luck

    • lisa

Can anyone help me find the John Freida coupons..please : ]

    • Valerie

      Couple things i found…
Family Dollar has coupons in their add…
      $5 off $25.00
Clorox2 $1.00 stack with the $1.00 off that came in the paper last week
Glad trash bags $.50 (doubles to $1.00) stack wtih the $.55 that was in the paper(I cant remember what one)

      • Sharon

Where did you find that $5 off $25? Is it in their regular flyer that you find in the store? I have to definitely find that!

        • kkmarie

most publix's don't consider family dollar a competitor. the one i work at doesn't.

    • The Smithfiled Bacon Q is great but for those of you that have Piggly Wiggly you may want to consider using your bacon coupon there! It will be .10 cheaper and you will earn your Greenbax!

      • tarabj

That's exactly what I did as well. Got 4 packs of bacon & 4 greenbax (value $6), and spent less than $6.

    • keb2009

thanks again for the time put in for all this.

i'll agree the new comments see to have too much going on. more is not always better :)

    • Mom2teenagers

Does anyone know a working zip for the $1.50 Clorox 2 q? I've tried many different zips with no luck.

      • Daphne

        I think it's gone now.

    • tinabug

There is a $1.00 off store coupon from CVS for Stacy Pita Chips on CVS’s website. This Q with the manuf. would make them free!

      • joycesc

The one I got says CVS but is actually a manufacturer coupon.

        • MiMi

I got a CVS store coupon when I went on and printed it. It says “CVS/Pharmacy Coupon”. Maybe prints differently at different times. I just printed today, so maybe worth another try. Thanks Jenny for all you do!

        • mitch

If it's the one from the CVS site it's a CVS coupon, but with the barcode and all the images on it, it totally could pass for manufacturer!

      • deb

What zip code are you using for CVS? I couldn't find the coupon for the Stacy Pita Chips.

        • mitch

It's for Baked Lays, Staceys, and a few other brands.

      • Leigh Ellen

Thanks for the reminder! I would have forgotten to use that.

    • chattanoogacheapskate

Does anyone know if the shrimp ring counts as a “platter”? If so, it would only be 99¢ after that Pepsi-FritoLay in-ad coupon.

    • Monica

I believe the yellow advantage flyer also has a Gatorade/G2 coupon for 55 cents off a multipack which is on sale this week for $5.00. The yellow adv. flyer expires on Friday so you only have a couple of days for this one.

    • lynn

i liked it better when u went to the bottom to leave your post….. it will take a little getting use to but if this is easier for u then i am all for it as always never seen a bad publix shopping week yet god bless jenny and thanks a million for all u do

    • Bella

where is the 1 cent coupon-i get the paper on Wednesdays and the Publix flyer-coupon not in the flyer?

      • Michelle

In the paper not the flyer

    • Crystal

I have a coupon from Special K B1G1. Does publix accept B1G1? Can I use my $1 off with it. I would like to buy 4 boxes and use 2 B1G1 and 2 $1 off. Can I do that?

      • Yes, you can buy 4 boxes and use 2 b1g1 coupons and 2 $1 coupons. Just make sure you read the coupons and are getting the correct size/variety!

        • Heather

There was also a $1 off Special K cereal Q in labeled boxes of “Frosted Flakes” purchased a few weeks ago…

      • Michelle Figueroa

My Publix in Athens,AL does NOT let you use another coupon in conjunction with a BOGO coupon so I think this answer really depends on your Publix.

    • itismedia

HHMMM, I kind of like the new format, so far. It seems neater. I haven't tried to responde to someone elses post yet. I think the only thing I don't like is that the newer post are at the bottom, but that is the same as the old way. After hundred's of post scrolling takes awhile. That's okay. Jenny I will do it anyway that you want! I appreciate all your hard work!

Oh and WHOO HOO! I am so glad Publix's ad is better this week! I am ripping up my Kroger list (except for the Smithfield pork tenderloin BOGO) and heading to Publix. Most of the items I had on my Kroger list are BOGO at Publix this week. I am so happy. I really love ublix so much more than Kroger!

    • itismedia

I think the platters have to come from the deli. The shrimp ring is in the meat dept.

    • KJ

In the beginning of January when Publix had Special K BOGO, I scored $1 off Cereal and bar or cereal and shake Qs on the back of the box. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone else had them and forgot about them hiding in their stash!

    • Kerra

I cannot get the printable T. Marzetti coupon…….can anyone assist with this???
      I’m in Georgia

      • jenngamble

Try using zip 90210. It worked for me.

    • Janet

Kraft Shredded Cheese or Cubes, 5.8-8 oz, $2
-$1/2 Kraft or Cracker Barrel Natural Cheese SS 1/3, 1/24
Regarding this deal, in Central Florida ,our SS1/3 coupon was a Publix store coupon, so that can be combined with the printable for a good deal on cheese.

      • Rashel

Hmmm, I just looked through mine and couldn't find one. Which SS was yours in?

      • Brooke

I live in Central Florida, but was traveling home that day and decided to buy the Indianapolis Star in the airport instead of waiting until I got home and risking not being able to find the Orlando Sentinel…now I'm wishing I had the Orlando coupon inserts :(

    • Snowski824

I like that you can sort it, I also like that when you reply to something it doesn't scroll you all the way to the bottom it's right under the comment you were at. I do miss the boxes because they help distinguish comments and replies but I wouldn't trade unless you can have this format with outlines (boxes). Regardless, your site is wonderful and I am very thankful it!

    • Andrea

Jenny, I just wanted to tell you how happy you have made me!! I am a SAHM of 4 and lately, I was feeling so BLAH!! I felt like my only purpose was to cook, clean house, wash clothes, help with homework & kiss boo boos!! I felt so alone & unenergized! I found this site about 3 weeks ago and it has honestly changed my life! Now I have something, that I have gotten pretty good at, if I do say so myself, that really gives me something to look forward too. I get such a rush out of a cart full of groceries or a cart full of neccesities at the drug store! I have actually gotten my girls involved & they love it too!! I have never got to shop so much in my life! My stock pile is looking so good! My DH is so proud of me too! You really did change this dull, boring & BORED SAHM!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

      • moneysaved4disney

I couldn't have said it better myself!! Thanks Jenny!

      • Brandy

I could have written this word for word. I too, got started about 3 weeks ago and it has changed my life! Thank you Jenny!!!!

      • WynetteC

I know just how you feel! ;)

    • Bobbie

Just testing to see how this is working.

    • Bobbie

      Just testing.

    • holls

Is anyone else having a problem with the juicy juice coupon? Cannot find it on the target site or the nestle site……..:(

    • beth

Publix also has Tombstone pizza for 2.99…seems like a good deal!?

      • moneysaved4disney

where did you see that? i know they were that price last week. there is a $1 food lion coupon you can use also.

        • Natalie559

I saw it on the very back page of the weekly ad you can view from their website

    • MissB

HARDSCRABBLE PUBLIX – wouldn’t take my Target store coupon last week. They are still wonderful, it may just depend on what manager is on shift but just wanted to let y’all know. Thanks, Jenny!!

      • Marina115

Thats weird because Target is like right next to them!!

        • Bonnie

I am not crazy about the Publix on 92/Hardscrabble. I find the one on Crabapple or 92/Sandy Plains much more pleasant and coupon friendly. Just chatted two weeks ago with a Crabapple clerk and she said she thought ALL area Publix took Target coupons since it is so close to so many stores. How lucky we are to have choices on which Publix to support!

      • marlee803

Hmm, they took my Target coupon just two or three weeks ago, when they had bogo Kelloggs Cereal. I used the 5$ off 4 Target Kelloggs Cereal boxes on top of it…….Never had a problem.
I love the Publix on Hardscrabble!!

    • carolyn090

thought i had the wrong website , did a double take. this will take some getting use to.i like it!

    • Margaret

In trying to print the College Inn broth coupon, I keep getting a message that I’ve printed it the number of times allowed. I probably printed one months ago, but not recently. Anyone else having this problem?

      • astridholliman11

i can't find it. What zip code are you using?

    • cpnhottie

I really wish Nabisco would reset their coupon things!!

      • sricard

        AMEN! those are great

      • Me too! I love those!

    • JEB

Did anyone ever find a store that sells Driscoll strawberries? My coupon expires today…

      • JEB

Also it says Publix sells Driscoll's strawberries, but I have not seen so far in the store…

        • Megan A.

It must vary by region. Almost all of our strawberries from Publix are Driscoll's.

      • snellmom

With all the freezing that Florida had, many of the farmers are just getting the berries back into the stores. Usually the Atlanta area Publix does carry Driscoll, but it depends on which farmer has the supply.

    • Kat

Is anyone else having a problem with printing the coupons on coupon.com? I really really want the smithfield coupon and cant get it to work. This is the second printer & computer I've tried on. When I go to my printer in the control panel it says that the printing is spooling. Any help?

      • brandie

i am having the same problem but mine is actually sending out blank sheets of paper…whixch really makes me nervous b/c i dont know if it going to count it as a coupon printed…which would really make me sad :(

        • moneysaved4disney

mine did that too, but it printed my q's after the blank papers

    • JEB

      Found this today….on Drsicoll's site…

What should I do if my Driscoll’s coupon expired before I redeemed it?
If you discover your Driscoll’s coupon has expired we’ll be happy to send you a replacement. To do so please forward your outdated coupon to the address below. Please allow up to 10-14 business days to receive your new coupon.

Kroger, Sam’s, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Ingles, SuperTarget, A& P are the only ones I recognize….

        • Hey there any comment with a link gets held for a bit for me to approve it, that's why it took a little time.

        • Ansley

Over the summer our Lee Branch Publix in Alabama sold them becasue target had a coupon for them that I used pretty much all summer, so maybe it is seasonal

          • sheba

Could not find Stacy pita chips in my zip code, what zip code did you use?

    • Melinda

Great site, I have learned a lot. I have a question I hope you can answer. I have a $5 off $50 coupon for Publix that I received in the mail. Lets say I buy $50 worth of stuff and have $20 in other coupons which will bring the total down to $30 before the $5 off. Can I use the $5 off $50 first and then apply the other coupons, or is the $5 of $50 coupon only good after the other coupons have been used?
I hope my question makes sense.

      • hsvmom

Yes, just put the $5.00 off coupon on top so that they can see you spent enough. The only time I had trouble with a coupon like that is when I had a cashier that took the coupons off as she went. Had to point out that if you add the coupons she had already removed to my total it was more that $50.00 and she took it off.

      • Taylor

Melinda:You can use your $5/$50 first. =) The $5/$50 comes off the pre-coupon amount.

      • Don't be afraid to just hand the $5/$50 coupon to the cashier first and THEN hand her your stack of coupons. If I have a big stack I usually hand them to the cashier a few at a time anyway so they don't miss any.

    • norma

I love the new format! I find it a lot easier to read and less confusing when replying to posts. I also like the fact the newest posts are at the top and I don't have to scroll down the page!

Even though I just started couponing last fall, I'm going to be teaching a class at church and recommending your website. It covers four stores in our area and I think it's perfect for those that don't have time to surf for deals by going to multiple sites!

    • keb2009

was anyone able to find the lloyds q in the 1/24 ss?

      • Hope

I have them in mine. I live in north Florida.

        • Diane

I had them…I live in AL

      • DawnMD

I couldn't find it either in Charleston, SC :(

      • wendylaine

yes i had them but i still don't get how that makes them 74 cents

        • Victoria

I agree – the math seems to me like it would be 1.74 with the coupon.

    • cgmomof2

need hallmark cards? There are pull coupons in the card section for 99cents off any hallmark card you buy as long as you spend at least 99 cents! I bought 4 cards and used four coupons. Never saw them, a person stocking the cards told me about them!

    • carla

IF you are in the Birmingham Area – in today's paper in the Western Ad are manufacturer's coupons for kraft cheese – shredded, singles, and chunk (and some others) but use them in the next day or two expire 2/9!

    • Carla

If you live in Birmingham and get the paper – there are manufacturer's coupons in the Western ad for Kraft cheese – singles, shredded, and chunked – use them this week at Publix as they expire on 2/9! (There are some other coupons too!_

    • If you are buying the College Inn broth this AND if you bought the Rondelle Pub Cheese in the current/previous sale, then Mueller's Pasta has a great recipe. On the back of the Bowtie pasta box is a recipe for Creamy Chicken and Broccoli. You could probably find at Mueller s website too. It calls for broth, soft spreadable garlic & herb cheese, pasta, broccoli, bell pepper… OTher than the bell pepper, it is all stuff the is or has been on sale recently. Good recipe to try. Gonna add it in for next week's menu!!!

      • shetang

I think I saw that to and thought it sounded good.

    • Andrea

When I click on the French's mustard coupon, it takes me to the site for cleaning materials. Is this right? Just curious! :)

      • cpnhottie

Then click on the tab labeled FOOD

I am soooo frustrated. I get the Greenville papers which I thought would be big enough to contain most regional coupon variations, but apparently NOT! The Jan 10th and 24th SS inserts have none of the coupons I need this week. Do not have the Lloyd's BBQ, Chef Boyardee, Breakstone Sour Cream, Kraft Cheese coupons for this Publix list OR the Dole Q for BiLo. I feel like it's worthless to buy multiple papers as I feel like I keep getting skunked! What paper should I buy?

      • If you can get a Charlotte Observer that is the best paper in our general area. If you can get an Atlanta paper those are pretty good too. There is a newsstand in Columbia that sells them… not sure if there is something like that up near where you live. Otherwise I would suggest you buy your inserts online. I have had a lot of luck with Coupons Things by Dede. Just google that and you'll find her site. I think the cost is really reasonable too. I usually order several weeks at a time plus some extra clipped coupons that I want (usually things that will be free) so that I get the flat rate shipping. Hope that helps and sorry you are frustrated! I've been there too and I just had to make peace with it and try to come up with the best solution.

        • Mom2teenagers

The St.Andrews News Stand that carried the C.O. went out of business after Christmas. The closest location to get this paper is now Winnsboro. I'm in a group of about 9 or 10 ladies that take turns getting papers every Sunday.

        • Jennifer

Great idea! Thks for all the suggestions guys- I will def. change my Sunday routine! Much appreciated.

      • harrisontm

I checked yesterday and found on the Charlotte Observer website that they are sold at the Publix on Wade Hampton for $2 on Sundays.

        • Jennifer

I'll check around on my side of town for the Observer- thks 4 the suggestion.

    • Angel_in_Charleston

I can't find the Chef Boyardee coupon in the January All You. Checked December and February, too, just to make sure the month wasn't wrong. Did anyone else find it?

      • annemarie73

It wasn't in mine either, but the ones that you buy at Wal-Mart have an extra insert of coupons in them that don't come in the subscription ones.

      • I don't get All You but have heard that if you subscribe you don't get all of the coupons that are available in the copy that can be bought at Wal-Mart. Do you subscribe?

        • Angel_in_Charleston

Yes, I do subscribe to All You. How frustrating that we miss out on coupons by subscribing to the magazine. You'd think it would be the other way around!!!

      • Carrie

I couldn't find the coupon either. I have heard before that the All You you buy in Wal-Mart sometimes has different coupons than the All You you receive from a subscription. I'm wondering if the Chef Boyardee is in the store copy and not the ones that were sent out as subscriptions. This makes it difficult to know whether or not to buy a second copy of the magazine from Wal-Mart each month.

      • MrsJJ

It was in the ones you pick up at walmart that where i got mine, and used it the last time they were BOGO :)

    • Tom

Suggertion on the new format for comments: add an area where the main subject can be noted. Example: XYZ Coupon; Picture and Name of Poster, Time of post.

    • Diane

I am new to this and a little confused. If the coupon says $1/when you buy 2—do you not have to buy 2 to use the coupon??? I can't make things add up. Thanks

      • Tom

        Yep, you gotta buy two.

        • Diane

French’s Classic Yellow Mustard 14 oz Squeeze Bottle, at $1.79 (89¢)
-.50/1 French’s Mustard SS 1/24 or printable (makes it free plus overage!)

          So how is this free?

          • snppmommy

Publix doubles coupons up to .50.

          • joytiffany

Jenny lives in SC where they double coupons of .50 and less. I live in FL and therefore I will get it for .39. I also have to buy two items with the BOGO and other states do not. It all depends on where you live and the policies of the stores.

    • Mama's High!

Does anyone know where to get dixie plates coupons. I cannot seem to find any. Thanks again for all you do Jenny! You are the BEST!!!!

      • rLoper

I already had one from Target that is no longer on their site. BUT if your store considers Rite-Aid a competitor, which mine in Fairhope, AL, does, there is a video rewards Q for $2 off $2 Dixie Ultra Plates.

        • CJ

Yay, Fairhope! I grew up there. I live in Georgia now, though.

    • Kay

Hey I was wondering about other sites that are like this one, and if someone can give me links to other couponing deal sites. Thanks!

      • moneysaved4disney

this is the best! no need for others…

    • Alicia S.

Just finished a trip at Publix. Be on the lookout for $1 off peelies on TGIF Quesadillas. Made each box 87 cents. These will be great appetizers for the Super Bowl on Sunday.

    • stockdalelady

For the Frozen Digiorno pizza, what is 'Tearpad' and where do u find it? Is it in the store??

      • Marina115

It's usually a pad of coupons that they place next to the item in the store. They're called a “tearpad” because you just tear the coupon off. They are scattered through out the store but all stores have different ones. So you're particular store may not have the one you're looking for. Hope that helps.

      • tricia3462

I found mine on the freezer door at Target.

    • Successful trip to Publix! Saved $72.39, spent $30.53 w/tax!

      8-Velveeta Mac & Cheese Dinners
      4-Velveeta Cheese
      5-YoPlait Yogurts (Wouldn't double these… bummer!)
      4-Smithfield Bacon
      4-Heluva Good Dips
      2-French's Mustards
      2-Glass Plus
      4-Arm & Hammer Toothpaste
      1-Maxwell House Coffee
      1-Publix Sugar

    • Brandie

Jenny, In the 1/31 Family Dollar circular there is a coupon on the front page for
$5 off $25 purchase. I used this at my local Publix today with no problem!

      • Michelle

Which Publix do you shop at?

    • June

Regarding the G2 packs: What is the RP 1/10 coupon? Thanks!

      • Marina115

RP is referring to a coupon insert that comes in the sunday paper called Red Plum. And 1/10 means it came in the January 10th paper. Hope that helps

    • audrasmommy09

I need to know if you can freeze Velveeta????

      • lindasueflyahoocom

LOL I wonder about this ! This cheese does not need refrigeration till opened and has a shelf life of years . Makes me wonder what is in it lol as it has a shelf life that long ? You can tell I am not a big Velveeta pesrson but my DD and DH love it . I just skip it except on holdiays in a dip.
This is from the Kraft site
We do not recommend that you freeze VELVEETA Pasteurized Process Cheese Product. Freezing VELVEETA Pasteurized Process Cheese Product may cause changes in the texture of the cheese. Crystals may form within the product which may make it grainy, or its texture to become mushy. Freezing can also break down the ingredients used to make the cheese. This may cause water to form on the surface of the product. Freezing can also negatively impact the flavor.
But I think if you are going to use it for mac and cheese it may be ok. Try a little in your freezer than fix your mac and cheese with it . But I would cut it in cubes befrore you freeze it . HTH

      • Snowski824

I personally wouldn't freeze it. I have some in the fridge that's been there since at least December and we use a few slices at a time for grilled cheese and it's ok. I wrapped mine in saran wrap after opening it and then in aluminum foil and none of it has dried out.

    • maconmom

I can't find the Juicy Juice coupons from Target. Am I missing something?

    • wendylaine

ok, did any one else print off the buy one get one free coupon for special K cereal. i am new to the couponing and i wondered if i used the 2 coupons i have, how many would i have to buy and how much would it be per box.

      • Chandra

I was wondering the same thing. I figure I am going to buy 2 Special K and 4 granola. I will then use the 2 BOGO coupons and a $1/2 and pay $2.99 for all 6 boxes.

        • Dee

I was wondering where did you find the BOGO coupon for special K?

      • Snowski824

You would only buy two and it would be 1.99 for both making it $1 each

      • Megan A.

If you're in FL or coastal GA where we have true BOGO sales, you'll use your two coupons to get four boxes (two cereal and two granola) for free. The coupon buys one and the BOGO sale covers the other.
If you're anywhere else (where BOGO really means 50% off each one), you'll still get four boxes, but you'll have to pay the 50% price (1.99) on each of the two cereals and then get the two granolas for free.

        • julie

Not sure where you are, but in Brunswick GA we do not have “true BOGO”. We get 50% off each item. You do not have to buy two..I oftentimes buy 1, 3, etc. of BOGO items depending on my need/coupons.

        • Chandra

You can get two more boxes of granola for free. The granola is BOGO and the coupon is for a free granola. Therefore by buying four boxes of granola the register will give you two free and then with two BOGO coupons you will receive the other two free. (Of course you will be getting two Special K as the coupon dictates.)

        • itismedia

In Savannah,GA if the deal is advertised as BOGO you pay half price for each item. If you have a BOGO coupon you would have to buy two and you would pay 1/2 price for one.
Example: Special K is 3.99 BOGO (1.99 box)
BOGO coupon – Coupon value would be 1.99
You would pay 1.99 for two boxes.

    • Angel_in_Charleston

Lloyd’s Meats BBQ Pork, Beef, Chicken 18 oz tub, at $5.49 ($2.74)
-$1 off Lloyds barbeque tub or ribs SS 1/24 (makes it 74¢)
-.75/1 Lloyds barbeque tub or ribs SS 1/24

This is actually $1.74 after the $1 Q … not 74 cents. Didn't notice until I was at the store.

    • Mommy77

Is anyone having problems pulling up the mustard coupon on sale this week at publix? When I click on coupon to print, it goes to a website that the mustard isn't listed as a coupon.

      • Daphne

Click “Save Now”, enter your info, click on the “Food” tab and you should see it.

    • I am in Birmingham and Cannot find either wisk coupon. Has anyone found a printable version. By the way the Helena Publix is already out of the wisk.

      • lisaajenkins

I had the $1 Wisk in the Birmingham News

    • mcoupons

I can not find a dixie coupon in RP 1/24 for $1/2- has anyone found it?

    • lindseyjoy

I can't find the following coupons (Greenville, SC):

$1 or .75/1 Lloyds barbeque tub or ribs SS 1/24
.25/2 McCormick seasoning mix RP 1/24
      $1 Nabisco Crackers SS 1/24
$1/2 Kraft or Cracker Barrell Natural Cheese SS 1/24

Has ANYONE who gets The Greenville News found those???

      • lindseyjoy

        I also cannot find:
$2 off Contessa Meals RP 1/31.

I should add that I have 2 inserts for both SS and RP weeks 1/24 and 1/31!

      • Suemh

I do have the Nabisco & Kraft Q's but not the others. Also Greenville News.

    • wendylaine

i am new and had 2 questions the first being
i have two BOGO free special k cereal coupons
how many would i have to buy and how much would it be per box

      • Daphne

Depends on where you're located. If you live in “true BOGO” land (aka FL) you could buy 4 boxes and get them all free. If you live in other areas, use your 2 BOGO q's and a $1/2 q to get 4 boxes for $2.98.

    • wendylaine

my second question is about the sale item

Lloyd’s Meats BBQ Pork, Beef, Chicken 18 oz tub, at $5.49 ($2.74)
-$1 off Lloyds barbeque tub or ribs SS 1/24 (makes it 74¢)
-.75/1 Lloyds barbeque tub or ribs SS 1/24

how would this make it 74 cents even if you use two coupons wouldn't it be 3.49 because you would have to buy both?

      • Angel_in_Charleston

I think it was just a typo. I discovered the price error when I was at Publix this afternoon.

      • Daphne

        It's a typo. Should be $1.74.

    • cpnhottie

The one on Valleydale and Hwy 31 only had 1 box of teh College Inn chicken broth left.

I tried to use the in ad coupon for the free tortilla chips w/purchase of salsa…they did not carry the brand of chips on the coupon so manager let me get a bag of whatever kind i wanted and made it FREE (got a bag of the Mission Tortilla Strips).

    • Sandy

Is the John Frieda Hair Care coupon good on all products or just the green root booster?

    • leighellen

Do you think hummus can be frozen?

      • jarrodbryson

My wife a Veggietarian says it can but that it doesn't mix together perfect after freezing.

    • Kim

I live outside of Atlanta and get the AJC paper. The Dixie Plate and Dixie Napkins, and Olive Oil coupons are not in my coupons on the dates listed. Anyone else having this problem?

Also, I DID find a Heluva Good couon in the SS 1/24 for 50 cents so Publix here will double it and it'll make the dip free. Time to stock up for the Super Bowl!!!

      • Allison

I had THREE AJCs (two bought in Athens, one in Lawrenceville, and none of them had the Dixie coupons. Couldn't find the Edy's coupons either.

        • dianebenatar

me, either. Sad. So much for ice cream cake

        • carrie lee

The Edy's coupon was in the SmartSource that comes in the Gwinnett D. Post and I believe it was wednesday the 27th.

      • Melissa

same here on the AJC Heluva Good coupon…SS 1/24 50 cents off 1. I'm getting 5 for free today! woohoo!! just in time for the super bowl!

    • cheapo

College Inn Broth coupons keep coming up reached print limit when none have been printed.

      • Denise

It may be that the print limit is reached for that zip code.

    • DEAL FIND: Our Publix has Cabot Butter (4 sticks) on sale for 99 cents (normally $3.49). The manager at our store turned me on to the deal when he saw that I was all into coupons and saving money and overheard me saying this was a really good shopping trip for savings.

      • erins_deals

AHHH! What Publix do you shop??? I love Cabot butter!

        • Taylor Crossing in Montgomery, AL.

          • erins_deals

Dang! It's almost worth the drive ;)

    • Katie

Does anyone know if the Yoplait kids BOGO yogurt includes Gogurts this week at Publix?

      • tryingcoupons

        Katie, it does not.

    • Katie

Does anyone know if the Yoplait kids BOGO yogurt includes the Gogurt this week at Publix?

      • Nicole

yes it does, I was excited this morning on my trip.

    • Susi

Quick question – does any one know if Publix considers Dollar General a competitor – There was a 5 of of 25 coupon in this weeks mailer

      • DawnMD

yes. i have used their coupons several times at Publix on dorchester road

    • Bobbie

Still trying to test this out. Hasen't been taking my comments.

    • Bobbie

Oh ok did fine this time. LOL

    • nancyholt

Taking a moment to thank you for all your time you give to make life cheaper and easier for me, I commend you for your knowledge and concern. Always so excited for the next Publix print, my very favorite store and the employees are sooooo nice.

    • Jennifer

I've just started couponing and studied this site today. So, I went to Publix today just to try it out on one item. I chose to try it on the French's Mustard B1G1. I had 2 50c off coupons. They were B1G1 @ $1.89. Although I only spent 89c on the two (and was ecstatic!) I was wondering how above it stated they would be free with change due back. Am I missing something? I want to learn all that I can!!!

      • KIm

If you live in an area where Publix doubles any coupons that are 50 cents or lower, then they would be free with overage. I'm assuming your store does not double the 50c or lower coupons?

        • CJ

The overage would be applied to other items that you purchase. They will not give you change back.

      • Lori

They should have doubled your .50 Coupons making it -2.00 with .11 coming off your total grocery bill. Unless you live in Florida or Georga. I guess they don't double. Still a good deal.

        • GAmeg

          North Georgia doubles!

    • Jenny

What do you think about using our Kraft cheese coupons this week? Will it go lower?

      • mechling9

Use them at Kroger and get the cheese for $0.50 each when you buy 10 of the Mega Event items!

    • Daphne

I was also able to print another $.40/1 Yoplait Kid’s yogurt from http://www.boxtops4education/Coupons/.

    • Jessica

I am about to finally be moving to a city with a Publix. My friend told me about this site and she always raves about how much money she can save. I'm always up for a good bargain, so I'm excited to start this shopping adventure. I just had a question about the coupons. What does the RP and SS stand for that are next to the coupon amount? I appreciate you putting all the time into this site, because it is truly a big help. Thanks so much.

      • Daphne

Refers to the coupon inserts in Sunday's paper.
        SS= Smartsource
        RP= Red Plum

      • Daphne

Try Jenny's “Coupon FAQ and Lingo” under “Getting Started Guides” at the top of this page.

    • Toni

Does anyone have a zip code for the Red Plum coupon for Tums?

    • Audrey

I can't print the Heluva coupon, am I doing something wrong.
Thanks Jenny for all your hard work. I really appreciate you.

    • FYI Cheaper price in Simpsonville SC (Fairview Rd Publix)

Velveeta Shells & Cheese $1.99 BOGO (I grabbed the broccoli & rotini so maybe it was this particular kind??) so after $1/2 makes them $0.49 each. Plus there is a peelie I grabbed a while back for FREE Kraft BBQ Sauce wyb 2 Velveeta.

Woohoo! I love it when they ring up CHEAPER!

    • Alicia

      Haha I love it!

Total BEFORE coupons was about $36.

      I paid 18.51, and saved over $40. :) :)

    • mechling9

Has anyone tried to get rain checks and then had the customer service person walk you around the store to make sure they don't have the item? It took 20 minutes at 10:15 PM (the store had been closed for 15 minutes) to eventually get a couple of rain checks. She actually argued with me about the Gatorade being in stock. I finally told her this was too much hassle and I'd just get it at Kroger. Definitely looking for a new Publix today and perhaps the address for corporate.

      • snellmom

That's insane! I've never had that happened. Usually they just write up the rain check.

        • mechling9

I've been shopping here for years and they even know WHEN I'll be shopping . (Wednesday night after church.) I've never had any problems in the past, but I wonder if now they're cracking down on rain check “abuse,” whatever that is. Do you live in Snellville?

          • Snellmom

Yes, I do. I frequent several Publix stores in the area.

            • mechling9

Any suggestions? I've been going to the Lawrenceville store on New Hope Road and Simonton. I really don't like the Hwy.124 store in Snellville since they don't take Target coupons.

            • Snellmom

The one on Simonton & New Hope (even before when it was on Hwy 20!) used to be my favorite when I lived up that way. They took all the coupons and were very helpful and never gave me any grief about the coupons. I'm very surprised that it was that Publix that gave you a hard time about the rain check. I wonder if they got a new manager.

The one in Snellville on 124 (Target shopping center) does take Target coupons. I've used them there several times. I used to hate it because they are kinda rude (especially compared to the other Publix stores), but I shop there when I have Target coupons. The one on Sugarloaf & Five Forks takes Food Lion coupons. I haven't been to the one on Hwy 120 & Law'ville Suwanee in quite a while, but I'd be surprised if they didn't take Target AND Food Lion since they are close to both of them.

      • LoriMama

Yep, a Publix I infrequently use is starting to do that. Not only do they verify whether or not it is on the shelf but then they call the back and have them check the stockroom for any stock that was not put out on the shelf. I about blew a gasket the other night b/c I had a sick one at home. She gave me the rainchecks. I came home and e-mailed corporate about this and am just waiting to hear back from them. PS: I only had 2 items and had been waiting 10 minutes. Can't imagine how long I would have waited if I had needed 8 rainchecks!!!

        • mechling9

My daughter had already taken my groceries and my purse to the car. People were cleaning the floors. And there we are marching around the store checking shelves and freezers and asking stock boys to look in the back. Just write the dumb rain check and go home! My husband's retail thought is, they are trying to wear us out and make this as unpleasant as possible so that we give it up and stop. We also just lost the free Thursday newspaper with coupon inserts. The AJC told us that one of the major advertisers asked for it to be stopped. Hummm….why does THAT make any sense? Perhaps Jenny know more about that.

          • Kim

I was wondering why were weren't getting Thursday coupons any more! I'm glad you told me…I'm very upset about it!

            • mechling9

Call the AJC Circulation Dept. at 404-522-4141 and press *0*. Give them your address and ask why you aren't getting them anymore. It's called The Evening Edge. She put us back on “the list” but I'm going to be surprised if there are coupons included.

            • sally

Call the AJC and let them know how much you love the Evening Edge paper. I did this last year – also be aware if any of your neighbors are receiving the paper, if so, then you have even more ammunition. If they have stopped delivery altogether in your neighborhood it might be more of a lucky chance. You might try to get more of your neighbors to call as well – there is strength in numbers. My Evening Edge started arriving after my second call – tried twice – two different reps– and, they did have the coupons in them. Good luck – don't give up.

The Publix nearest me has stopped selling the AJC Sunday double edition paper – not for the lack of interest – they always ran out by 10:00 AM or so – I think its too many coupons for them – I wonder if there is a link here somehow. This Publix has always been a bit particular and not very coupon friendly. I now shop at a Publix 15 mts away instead. They are wonderful and very coupon friendly!

          • Jennifer

Makes perfect sense to me. I personally want the product… not a rain check I have to remember to bring the next time I shop. Publix is so customer service oriented that they don't want any customer to leave the store without the products they came for. Thats the reason I love Publix!!!!

            • mechling9

If customer service was their motive, it seems that asking the customer which was more convenient for them would have been the appropriate thing to do. No one's trying to not “love Publix”, but unfortunately we have a few stores who have lost sight of the company's core value of customer satisfaction.

      • angie

I had a similar experience over an item yesterday. Nothing on the shelf-had to go look, had to call a manager. Time spent, and ultimately-they didnt have the item.

        • mechling9

Go to the Publix website and leave them a message about your experience under the “contact us” section. I believe that they are a company who listens to its customers. We'll see!

    • Stephanie

Found a $1.00 Thomas English Muffin coupon in the March All You mag (came to my mailbox yesterday). Have to buy the Honey Wheat variety , but it would only be .49!!

    • Baeb T

Do not download the coupon printer at Coupons.com-it contains a virus (trojan). My anti-virus program blocked it immediately.

      • jarrodbryson

        I'd imagine you're using Macafee?

it doesn't really matter which but you're getting a “False” positive. Your Anti Virus is considering all tracking cookies as a “Trojan” and giving you the read. I just downloaded the file and checked things out, and it's not a trojan, just an annoying cookie.

    • sbdugger

Woo hoo! $125 for $23! Great trip.

    • michelle

i love your site!!! Look for the peelie on the TGIF frozen snacks for $1 off! It makes the quesadilla's only $0.62!

    • Mike

To double a coupon .50 cents or less.. do they scan the same one or do you actually need two coupons? Thanks for the help.

      • tryingcoupons

They just scan the coupon and if it's less than $.50, the system will automatically double it, so need for two coupons.

      • snellmom

As long as you are NOT in Florida or Coastal Georgia, the register will automatically take off an additional amount of the coupon. Your receipt will say “vendor coupon $0.50” on one line, and the next line will read “multiplied coupon $0.50”. You will need two coupons only if you are purchasing two items- (unless coupon is amount off of 2 or more, then you'll need that many items for each coupon). So, if you buy an item for $1.00, and have 1 $0.50 coupon, it will scan as I stated before, and you'll just pay the tax on the $1. Make sense?

        • julie

This is the second erronous comment about Coastal GA in this thread. I am in Brunswick, GA and I assure you Publix here DOES double coupons.

          • Betty

They double in Savannah, GA also.

          • jarrodbryson

Publix website states that they DON'T double in Coastal GA, or at least it used to which is where all of us Uncoastals keep quoting that from ;)

          • Hope

Yes they double in Brunswick but not coastal Ga. meaning St, Marys and Kingsland areas.

    • Lindsay

Be on the lookout for a Velveeta display with tearpad coupons. $1 off any chips wyb 1lb of Velveeta. Matches up very nicely with all the free dip this week!

    • Tina431

Question..I found a peelie on Dixie Ultra plates for free Dixie napkins if I bought 2 packages Ultra plates..these are B1G1. Now..the Napikins are B1G1 also…so would I get 2 packages of napkins for free if I uses the coupon?

      • Donna

I would believe you would only get 1 free napkin, if they are B1G1 you would have to pay the price of one if you bought 2.

        • MrsJJ

Nope they would be free. I had a similar situation last night and they were both free!! :)

        • Tina431

Thank you for your response..I'm still new to all this

    • Elizabeth

What zipcode works for the Tums?

    • normab

i found a Kraft manufatures coupon at my store that is for $2.00 off 3 Kraft dairy items. There are multiple items listed, bagged cheese, velvetta, breakstone sour cream…etc.. My question is can I use this coupon along with 2 coupons for 2 of the three items? for example can I use 1 coupon for Breakstone, 1 coupon for vevetta, and the $2.00 off coupon for the bagged cheese??? or can I only use the $2.00 coupon by itself??
      Let me know

      • CJ

Not if they are all manufacturer's Q's. You can only use two coupons on an item if one is a manufacturer's Q and one is a store Q. Hope this helps!

    • Dana

I could not find the whisk coupon in 1/31 RP, was it in there? (B'ham, AL)

    • Anonymous

      It you go to:

you can get a 50 cents off 2 cans of Chef Boyardee, making them 50 cents each.

    • SM

If your store takes Target it has a $1 off wyb Dixie Ultra Plate and Dixie napkins
or Rite Aid(video value) has coupon for $2/2 Dixie Ultra Plates

    • MarleesMommy

I didn't see any posts on this yet, but my Publix on New Hope Road had the Glade Fragrance collection candles on sale @ 2 for $8.99 [so bogo] and there is a $3 off printable making each candle $3. I got two of them tonight and they smell wonderful! I think they may be closeouts or something, so keep an eye out :]

    • ktoddrealtor

I was told tonight by a Ga. Publix cashier they were no longer allowing “stacking” coupons. Is this true?

    • Melissa

Can you use the $5 off of $25 from Family Dollar at Publix?

    • Lori

I tried to use a competitor coupon tonight at Publix. The cashier informed me that all publix have stopped taking competitor coupons as of today. I was bummed!! I'm hoping it's just the Daniel Island, SC store, but it didn't sound like it. She said it came from corporate.

      • pennysaver

I tried using one on monday night in mt p. and they wouldn't accept it either…BOO!!

        • fredandkell

I just used three Whole Foods competitor's Qs at Publix today with no problem (Atlanta area)

    • Amber

There is a tear pad in my Publix near the soft drinks on an end cap for $1 off a 2 liter or 6 pack soda when you buy any 2 participating Kraft products (Kraft and Velveeta mac and cheese count)

    • frustrated

May I just say how people are abusing the 99 cent off a Hallmark EXPRESSIONS purchase tearpad coupon. People are using them on the 99 cent cards that aren't the Expressions line. Somebody had 130 cards the other day. Seriously, use your coupons right, and save some for the rest of us. Don't be greedy.

      • rhoadesaa

Hmmmm….I got 9 tonight and wonder if I got the right kind of card after all. The coupons were stuck on a display of 99 cent cards, so I just assumed….hmmmmmmm. :(

      • nar_fla

I agree that taking too many of the coupons is not the proper way to use any coupon. I used two of the coupons during my shopping trip this week and it does specifically list the .99 cards. I was surprised that these inexpensive cards were included. It lists almost all of the lines of Hallmark cards. The minimum purchase required is also .99.

      • dillard_christina

I couldn't find any $.99 cards at my Publix! I used a coupon on a $2.59 card, which was nearly the cheapest I could find. However, as long as the $.99 card says “Expressions” on the back, it would count. If not, then it doesn't matter if it's a $4 card–it's not included. That said, buying 130 of any one item is abuse in my book.

    • holly300

Just a comment about my publix at Hickory Flat in Woodstock. Yesterday, for the first time, they wouldn't double my printable coupon for 40cents for Trix Yoplait yogurt. They said because the coupon said at the top not to double or triple. I tried to explain that it was for the manufacturer's purpose – they don't want to pay the double coupon but Publix policy is to double coupons that are 50cents or less. They wouldn't budge although they always have done it in the past. Not sure why the change? Anyone else have that problem?

    • Jennifer Belinge

Is anyone else having trouble with the Home Solutions link? I haven't been able to use it in several weeks? Says something like they are unable to print coupons now?

    • maeusa

Thank you SO MUCH for all of the work you put into this site. It is an incredible blessing!

    • rykar

There's no Bertolli coupon in the SS insert for 1/10 as listed above.

    • alisha

$.50/1 Heluva Good Sour Cream Dip or Cheese SS 1/24 (columbia, sc)

thought i would share! makes it FREE!!!

    • alisha

      for columbia, sc:

      $.75/1 t. marzetti dressing SS 1/24.

i didn't have the $.50/1 so this was a close follow behind!

    • Rhonda

If I buy 2-gallons of white milk and 1-half gallon of chocolate milk and 2-Kelloggs granola cereal can I use: (1)mfg coupon-buy 2 gallons of milk get 1/2 gallon chocolate milk; and (1)mfg coupon-buy two boxes Kelloggs cereal get $2.00 off gallon of milk; and (2)mfg coupons for each box of cereal?

      • Snellmom

Should be able to, don't see why not. You're getting 1 free 1/2 gallon milk, 1 mfg coupon for each cereal, and 1 $2 off a gallon milk. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!

    • sandyclark

      Hi Jenny,
I am fairly new to this website and I am very grateful for all you do to help us save $$!!!
I have been very careful to write the date on my SS and RP weekly coupon inserts so I can find the coupons I need when certain items come on sale but, here's my problem…I'm not finding some that you have listed under some items such as: $1 off Bertolli Olive Oil SS 1/10, $1 off Edy's ice cream SS 1/31, $1.50/2 Voila! Meals SS 1/10. I promise I have looked several times…is it because of the area I live in? I live in the CSRA area of Georgia.

      • Mamaberry

Sorry Sandy! Sometimes this happens. They are regional differences. Central FL is notorious for this. I can buy the SAME paper from two different stores and the coupons will be different!! Check the top where Jenny has “weekly inserts”. She has a running list of SOME of the various papers and their variations. Hopefully yours is regularly updated by some considerate reader :) my best

      • LD

Not Jenny but yes . The insterts will be diffrent in areas. I did not get the eddys in mine but my mom did . I live in Florida and she lives in CT. Also the amounts of the coupons will vary by region. In CT where my mom can triple and double up to a dollar she will get [for instance] A dollar off Cereal I will get .50 off that cereal . I do not have doubles at all up to anything . In areas where they can double up to .50 they may get a .75 off one lol. If Edy ice cream sells well in the south even in winter we wont get the coupon at all but up North where it is cold they will get the coupon . Hope

    • cindersga

Is the Lloyds $.74 or $1.74 with the $1 off coupon?

      • Donna

        It's 1.74, it was a typo

        • cindersga

          OK thanks so much.

    • val

fyi for those frustated with raincheck policies. i am a publix employee at a fairly large publix and it is IMPOSSIBLE for every employee to know what items are missing from the shelves, even the “hot” items. it is also difficult for grocery dept to keep up with stocking shelves, seeing as there are fewer of them there during the day. my store has seen many instances of people asking for rainchecks right when they come in the store, without even checking the shelves. that is why we have to check all stock before issuing one. i know it can be frustrating, but we've got to do what we've got to do :)

    • kj

Does anyone else have the target special K coupons 1.00/2 from a few weeks ago, if you use those and a mfg. coupon 1.00/2, kellogs will be .99 a box with the bogo and using two coupons, not free but still a decent deal for cereal.

    • JMorgan

Where do I get a “Party Playbook” booklet?

    • maranda1

There is also $1/2 on the Chef Boyardee inside Banquet meals that are good til 2011!

    • manookie

      Hi Jenny,

You really are a hero! Thank you for making such a positive difference in the lives of us all. I wanted to share something I learned today at Pubix in Jacksonville, FL. The cashier told me that Publix store coupons do NOT expire. She has been working at Publix for years and assured me they do not expire. She also told me, which you may know and I just haven't seen it anywhere, that if you find a manufacturer's coupon on a product or in the store via tearpad or dispenser, they will take that plus one you brought in with you. So in that case you can use 2 manufacturer coupons for that product. For example, Kraft shredded cheese was 2 for $4.00. I had a manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off 2 Kraft cheese and there was a dispenser for 1.00 off the same product. I was allowed to use both coupons. That made each bag .50. I was very excited! I have never had a problem using coupons with any of the cashiers but this lady was awesome! Thanks again for all you do:)

      • mandy

Hi, Jenny! Which Publix? I also live in Jax, Fl

        • manookie

It was the Publix on Roosevelt.

    • Cori

Just have to say thanks to Jenny for this site. I went to Publix and spent $66.18 this week and saved $104.24! Wow!

    • Donna

Does anyone know if you could use a publix coupon with a baby club coupon? I figured since not everyone gets the baby club it would be the exception.

      • Leah in SC

At my store, the Baby Club coupon is considered a store coupon so you can stack it with a manu q, but not with another store q. Hope this helps.

      • tarabj

I have been allowed to use the $3 off huggies box found in the circular with the $10/2 huggies box from the baby club.

    • duchessopurple

At my publix in Anderson SC I found a tearpad for $2 off 3 kraft products. I used it with the Kraft shells and cheese and it made them .34 cents a piece!!

    • sbdugger

When was the knox gelatin deal? Did I miss it?

    • fredandkell

Some Qs to add to this list.
If you go to Whole Foods and get their current in-store coupons, they have $1 off Kashi TLC Granola Bars, $1/2 Muir Glen organic soups, and $.50 off Odwalla smoothie in there. All three of those things are currently on sale at Publix.
Also I printed a $.55 off coupon off the Horizon Organic website for the DHA milk. Surprisingly, the DHA milk was also $3.50 – usually it doesn't go on sale.

    • ChristinaE

There was a coupon in the Family Dollar ad for $5 off $25 purchase. Would Publix accept this one – I know they take the Rite Aid ones?

    • Reagan

Is there a 5 dollar off 25 coupon anywhere for right now??

      • tricia3462

rite aid 5 off 20 check the rite aid post. I was waiting for one also.

        • tricia3462

Ugh…it is a pain to get….have to watch 20 little videos. It did not take too long and Publix on Trolley Road will take i so it was worth the time. Still a bit annoying.

    • Janet

There was a tear pad with coupons for 1.00 off a soft drink with the purchase of two Kraft items. Worked great with the Kraft Velvetta or Deluxe Mac & Cheese b1g1 this week. At my store they were on an end cap across from the seafood section.

    • Brianne

Like the girls below, I thank you so much ! My husband thinks I'm a rock star. haha~!

    • amywebb

I can't find the Juicy Juice target Q…what zip> thanks!!

    • jennyinfl

Just an idea for those of you in Florida near a Winn Dixie. I stop in each week and buy one item Mon-Thursday. I usually pick a good sale item with a coupon match. Sometimes its just a pack of gum………..BUT after using my Winn Dixie card, the catalina prints a -$10/$50 coupon that's good for that FRI-SUN. I use it every Sunday when I do my Publix shopping because they definitely take competitor coupons. Sometimes I get a -$5/$75 but rarely. Either way its an easy way to save $5 or $10 bucks.

      • Mary

I will definitely try this. Thanks for the tip!!

    • laura

Anyone here from Fla and getting the Ocala Star Banner? I got my first delivered Saturday paper today and was bummed not to find my Publix insert w/ a $5 coupon—it is usually in the paper every-other week when I was buying them off of the stand! Bummer

    • Caryn

Is there another link to the bacon coupon? I need one more. Thanks!

    • itismedia

I just wanted to share with anyone that is new to this that people keep saying that COASTAL Georgia Publix does not Double coupons. This is not true. I live in Savannah, GA and we have three Publix. They ALL double as does Brunswick. I cannot attest to the rest, but check with your Publix before giving up. I can just about guarantee that they do. Publix is too great of a store to shop at, with all the BOGO deals and the doubling of coupons up to .50.

      • poolersmiths

Itismedia, we are also in Savannah:) Are you a Publix shopper at Twelve Oaks?

        • itismedia

I shop at the one at Largo and Abercorn.I have shopped at the Twelve Oaks one, but I LOVE the Largo store. It doesn't seem as packed and the store manager and assistant managers are wonderful. They bag groceries, wander the store, etc…Donavon is the store manager and the nicest person. Nice to hear from another Savannahian!

    • Melissa

I was at Publix in Anderson SC today and the strangest thing…the cashier took all my coupons and laid them out like a deck of cards, and matched them up with the items as she rang them up. It took FOREVER to check out!! Anyone else had this happen to them?? I had a lot of coupons and I don't know if it was because I had so many or if she always does that? I thought that the computer would kick them out if you didn't get the right things anyway so I don't really see the point in doing that. I also think she missed a couple of my coupons, but it was so hard to tell because of the way she was ringing it all up.. either way I saved $123.52 and got free milk and free oreos!

      • itismedia

Melissa, this has happened to me before too. It depends on the cashier. The easiest thing to do is offer to hand the cashier the coupons as she rings them up. That way she/he can match them and you know that they were all scanned. This is also a lot faster than them digging through your coupons, especially if you have a lot of them. I don't know why some do it and some don't I just try to adjust. I have gotten to know what cashiers do it and if I HAVE to get in one of their lines, this is what I do.

    • tbrowncolumbiasc

I just went to Publix last night to buy several of the items listed on this page. If I had these coupons, I could have saved at least $10.00. I will never shop again before first checking this site. Saving is the best high ever!

    • itismedia

My week is starting off great! I have been out of town and was just going through my mail and found
ConAgra Foods Rediscover Your Balance Recipe book with 18.00 in coupons
Mueller's Recipe booklet with 9.00 worth of coupons
      Kroger Postcard with 2 – 5.00off.45.00 and 2 – 6.00 off/60.00 purchases
Kroger Speeding toward Race day My Magazine coupon book

Plus, I went to get Superbowl snacks at Publix and got:
      3 Stacy's Chips
      2 TMarzetti's Dips
      Tostada Chips (Brand?)
      2 Helluva Dips
      2 Planter's Honey Roasted Peanuts
      1 Publix Spinach Dip
      2 Velvettas
      2 Sabra's Hummus
      1 Gallon Publix Tea
      1 Gallon Publix Lemonade
Grand Total OOP 7.98!!!! (My coupons included a 10.00 catalina from Wal-Greens)

FYI My Publix had a tear pad with the Stacy's Chips for 1.00 off any Publix deli item with the purchase of 1 Stacy's Chips. I used them to match with the 3 bags I bought and got the pinach Dip for .85 and the Lemonade and Tea for .29 each.

    • TPitkin

Publix market in Taylors, SC will not take Food Lion coupons. They will take Bloom, Ingles, Bi-Lo, and Whole foods.

    • debra

where do you get the game day booklet

    • Melissa

Went to use my FREE Oreo coupon yesterday at Publix and they could not accept-said it was fraudulent!! Anyone else had this problem?

      • mandy

Oh, no! I got my coupon yesterday in the mail, & was planning on using it today. Has anyone else had this problem??

    • Leah in SC

My store had a blinkie for the TaiPei entrees – $.55/1 making them $.94 each.

    • Sarah

See the link below for a $1.00/1 for Campbell's Select Harvest.

    • mccj

what is going on with the juicy juicy coupons? I'm not seeing them on the Target page and they will not come up on the juicy juicy page either.

    • cvelasco

I will be in orlando next week and there is a publix next to our resort. Do you need a publix shopping card to get the specials, if so is this something you can do at the store at checkout? Thanks

      • itismedia

Publix doesn't require anything to get the deals. When you check out they will automatically ring up at the sale price. However, from what I read from Florida posters (I am in Savannah, GA) Florida Publix do not double coupons and you have to buy 2 of the deals to get the BOGO. I am not sure if you can use 2 coupons with the BOGO though. Maybe someone else can tell you. Apparently Publix is everywhere down there and they don't feel like the have to be as competitive. Thank goodness they are not like that in Coastal Georgia! Have fun in Orlando!

        • mandy

Yes, it's true. I live in Jax, FL & we have Publix stores everywhere. No, they do not double coupons, but u can use 2 coupons for the B1G1 items :)

    • Kristi

I've just been introduced to couponing and tried it out at Publix today. My bill before handing the coupons over was $59 (which was already a lot of savings because of BOGO items). My bill after the coupons was $34 – saving $25! My favorite deal – buying four Post cereals to get a free milk; I got Grape Nuts, which were on sale 2 for $5; plus I had a coupon for $1 off two boxes; so $9.00 for four boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk.

    • There's a coupon for

$1.00 off Campbell's Select Harvest soup.

It would be great for Publix until tomorrow.

Saw it at The Coupon Barn earlier today.

    • carolyn090

really happy about my trip to sahannah ga., even if it is also a trip to the dentist .i will finally have a chance to shop at a publix that doubles. anyone have good location in mind ?

      • itismedia

I LOVE the Publix on Abercorn at Largo. I am not sure where you are coming in from, but if it is 95 take Exit 94, turn owards Savannah and it is about 7 miles down on the right. If you know where St. Joe's hospital is it is just past it on the opposite side of the road.
Tips – Dovanon is the store manager and he is great. He will substitute items if he can, He has even taken off an expired coupon because they didn't get a raincheck item in until after it expired.

Most of the cashiers are great, but there are a couple what I call “coupon nazis” =+) If you run into one that wants your coupons first, I usually offer to hand them to them as they ring up the groceries. I know what I have coupons for, where they are in the stack, etc…it goes a lot faster this way.

A lot of times the managers (front in, store, assistants) bag groceries so get to know them and if there is a problem let them know. They are great with working with you.

There is also this cute little hispanic girl that stocks (I can't think of her name right now, how aweful!) she is wonderful about checking the back for items for me. I mean I would rather have the product than the raincheck.

They are also great about opening new lanes if more than 2 or 3 people are in line.
        Hope this helps!

    • jacksonat25

Has anyone in the Beaufort, SC area heard that the Publix on lady's island does not double coupons? I just went there today and was told that they do not. I still saved $28 but was looking forward to having some free items due to the double coupon policy. Thanks

    • Natasha

Just an FYI! My publix in Tallahassee, FL has lots of Tresemme, Garnier, Nexus and other great brands on clearance. I got the Tresemme 24hr Body Mousse (which is my favorite) for $2.15 – it normally sells for $4.99. They had the the big bottles of Shampoo and Conditioner for $2.15 also!! Just thought I would share!

    • Tarin

The Pelham Rd store in Gvl had tons of in-store deals today! Glad I had all of my coupons with me. Jenny, is this a new trend at Publix? I've never seen so many!

I am new to this site, where does everyone get the $5/$25 at and do they accept them at Publix's in FL?

They are also great about opening new lanes if more than 2 or 3 people are in line.
      Hope this helps!
