I hate the Anderson store!!! We have a new second residence in Anderson, and they don't double coupons that say “Do Not Double” like the Simpsonville store. And then today, my non “Do Not Double” coupon still did not double. I debated but went and ahead and went back in(as I'm new to this store and needed to know if I apparently have to shop based on every Publix's different rules) and asked “Do ya'll not double any coupons anymore, because mine didn't?” He fed me a bunch of crap just to get me out of the store. Boo Anderson!

        • Anna

Which Publix did you shop in Anderson? I've found the one on Clemson Blvd to be hard to deal with, but the one on 81 has been fine. They don't take Target coupons though.

          • Brooke

It was the E Greenville store, I think that's 81. But do you know if the Clemson Boulevard takes Target(or any other competitors) coupons? I didn't know that if that's the case. My Simpsonville store had stopped taking them.

            • Cari

neither store in anderson takes Target qs, they both only take grocery store coupons. … I'm glad I moved to a MUCH friendlier publix-area LOL!!

      • tonya

        And Jenny!!!

    • nfg

      First! 10:21PM

      • nfg

Looks like we can get flavored coffee creamer for .45 this week with the store and many q

    • sarah05

When I was at Publix (in Orlando) yesterday, the strawberries had peelie coupons for $1 off if you bought Cool-Whip. This would go nicely with the Cool-Whip BOGO this week!

      • 3monkeysmom

Yep! We're having Strawberry Shortcake this week :-)

      • Samantha

I was just about to post the same thing. With cool whip bogo and the Sara Lee deal still going, it looks like strawberry shortcake will be on our menu this week!

        • melissa74

The Publix in Goose Creek, SC did not have Cool Whip coupons on their strawberries. They had stickers that said “cool whip would go great with strawberries” or something like that, but no coupon. I was bummed.

          • KAWilson

Yes, they did, but not on ALL of them……

      • jennifer_h

I was going to post the same thing! What a deal – pound cake, strawberries, and cool whip!

    • Caroline

There is an interesting scenario with the Glad garbage bags (some with .55 off coupons on packages) / Clorox Wipes ($3 off coupons in one of store booklets when purchase glad bags) / Clorox disinfectant product (mfc $1.50 off from Kroger tear pad when buy with Clorox wipes)… bleach is on sale :) If you can do this, it is rather fun.

      • kisha

i did this deal scenario: smallest/cheapest glad bags 25-80ct= 2.69 minus .55 peelie
        clorox wipes 35ct on sale = 1.99
        clorox bleach on sale= 1.67
minus OSOS booklet cpn= -3.00 off clorox wyb glad
minus froger tearpad cpn = -1.50 off clorox disinfecting product wyb clorox wipes
total =1.30 (1.68 w/tax) in GA for all three
I did have fun and made a new coupon friend too.

    • Kellie

In several of my boxes of Quaker true delight oatmeal purchased during the sale recently there are coupons inside. One of them is for Quaker instant grits .50 cents off which equals .39 cents a box if I calculated correctly!!!

      • Janet

Mine also has $1 off of two Quaker Life cereal. Just FYI

      • WynetteC

I was going to post this since on the grits as well. I was excited that I had come across the same coupon on my own, then I saw your post. :::sigh::: The funny part is that I still have 3 boxes of oatmeal that are unopened and so the dillema will be debating opening them for a grits coupon (along with other coupons in the packet).
But I have learned to go to my coupon book first to see if I have those oddly attained coupons! :)

        • Kellie

I had the same dillema but gave in and opened 2 of the 3. one of the boxes had them!!! I hate having tons of boxes open at the same time. my husband says Im crazy :)

          • couponannie

I have Tupperware/ Rubbermaid containers on a lazy susan in my pantry and I take oatmeal, granola bars, popcorn, etc … out of their boxes and store them in the containers with labels on them to allow for extra room. (And the storage containers keep everything much fresher than the cardboard boxes!) I also have a few cereal storers so my kids can have 3-4 boxes of cereal opened at the same time so they do not fight over what kind we open.

    • Lkillough

I can't get the sue bee honey coupon. It keeps saying that I've printed the allowed number of times. I haven't printed it at all!

      • rykar

Go directly to SueBee website. I was able to print mine from their last week.

        • keb2009

where abouts on their website do you find the Q?

      • soylatteqt

Sue Bee honey is not on sale at my publix. :(

    • kmr

I tried to do the Jimmy Dean coupon – becoming a fan on facebook – and they send you a confirmation code to your e-mail… it said that my code was incorrect! and I copied and pasted it. anyone else have this problem?

      • Kristin

I did too! Never could figure it out!

      • Kim

I copy and pasted mine too and got the same message. When I looked again it had a space at the end of the number, so I removed that and it worked. Try that.

        • kmr

          thanks! that worked!

      • melissa

had the same problem and it want let u copy and paste. I typed in the number and it worked!

    • kkkkk

goofy question…are hot dogs considered cold cuts, wondering if you could use the oscar Meyer coupon $1/2 any cold cuts for the hot dogs this week????

    • khaefliger

thank you so much once again! Tues. eve is my favorite eve!

    • Chi

Is the 2 off Publix Q for sliced bread or bread from the bakery?

      • doesn't specify, just Publix bread.

      • Kimberly

I used it and bought a loaf of Publix bread for $1.79.

      • Leah_in_SC

I've used it for bread from the bakery with no issues.

    • Misty

Sue BEE keeps telling me i have already printed but have NOT, and the Sure printable was actually $.75/1 not complaining just saying

      • rykar

Go directly to SueBee website. I was able to print mine from their last week.

    • Jennifer

Where is the Yoplait Man. coupon??? I must not be using the right zip. Please let me know-I want overage!!

      • I printed it, I got it under 37043, but I don't know if it's still available.

    • Kim

Still having trouble with the Ore-Ida coupons. I found the Steam N Mash, but I can't find the others for the regular potatoes. Any suggestions?

    • steph_in_AL

Can anyone tell me, is the PG Future Friendly booklet new, or older? And do you find it at Publix? Thanks!

      • beesknees

The P&G Future Friendly booklet is very recent– I picked mine up at Publix last week. I didn't see any tonight at the service counter when I was there, so don't know if they still have them.

    • kidsallgone

Went to Publix late this afternoon and had a much better experience (grouchy managers, etc last time). They were out of the Greek yogurt for the 2nd time (which is OK since I don't eat it but was going to give it to someone). I paid $78.00 for $168.00 worth of items! YAY!! A couple questions though:
      1. I couldn't find the J&J First Aid kit. Pharmacist said she didn't think they carried it. Has anyone else found it? Has anyone else found it? And where on the shelf is it?
      2. Was wondering if I should even try using Publix store coupons that have expired. Someone on here mentioned that Publix does not have a problem with using them (within the same month as the expiration date).
      3. Also, how many competitor's coupons can I use on one transaction that are $5.00 off $25.00, etc? My cashier took 2 of them (from Rite Aid) with no problem.
Sorry this is soooo long. Thanks for any advice.

      • katymac33

The first aid kits are in the travel section.

        • kidsallgone

Thanks! Will go by there today or Thursday! Fingers crossed!

      • You can only use 1 $5 off $25 coupon. Good rule of thumb, if the original store would not let you do it then you should not expect Publix to let you do it, and Rite-Aid would not allow that… plus I am pretty sure there is something on the coupon that says only one per transaction. Also, I would not split up your groceries into two orders either… just be happy that they will let you use 1 $5 off $25 and leave it at that… our stores do not accept drug store coupons of any kind, especially the total purchase coupons.

        • kidsallgone

I've gotten so many different answers on the coupon question. LOL! I guess like most have said: Not all Publix stores or cashiers follow the same rules. If they say “No” then I just smile and either remove an item from the bag or just leave it as is. No biggie. I save enough there anyway! :)

        • Ruth

My publix lets us split our order one time and use two Rite-Aid coupons!! (one for each transaction) Since that is the policy….I say go for it!! I'm very happy they do accept one….but if they will accept two by just breaking up the order than that is even better!!

        • Jessthere

I must be really lucky as my Rite Aid will let me use as many $/$ coupons I want as long as I spent the proper amount in each transaction.

      • Sarahelf

        1. Same problem here as well. Have tried to locate it several times at two stores… nada
        2. Call the store you are going to shop at to find out this. I have three Publix stores in my shopping area and they each have different rules for coupons.
        3. Again, call the store. I think it a. depends on the store and b. depends on the cashier. Each store I've been at have been sticklers and will take one.

      • suzannej

I tried to use a publix expired coupon this week and they refused it. I'm in Montgomery Alabama. Never hurts to try.

        • Sherry

Try the one in Prattville. They will accept a MQ that expired that week up until Friday because they send the coupons off on Saturday. They also accepted my expired Publix coupon. Prattville Publix is the best! I drive out there because their coupon policy and customer service is better than Montgomery. That being said, the Vaughn Publix (2nd best) and Taylor Publix are great too!

          • suzannej

      • elisa

I found the first aid kit a couple of weeks ago (after much searching) near the bandaids. I really wanted to buy another one b/c they're a great thing to keep in the diaper bag, but I couldn't find them anywhere last week–not even an empty place on the shelf.
I did use 2 expired q's (only by 2 days) at Publix last week, but the casheir made a point of telling me that they were expired, but that she would take them anyway. Some friends have told me their Publix won't take expired q's at all, so I think it really depends on the store and casheir. I wouldn't go there counting on being able to use them, though.
        Hope this helps. =)

        • kidsallgone

          Thanks! That did help!!!

      • LoriMama

My Publix store is fabulous about all things Q. I travel out of my way to go here b/c they will work w/all types of Q!!
        1. Located in the travel section but hard to find b/c it is scooped up ASAP.
        2. My store lets you use expired Qs as long as they expired in the same accounting week (Sunday through Saturday). They've told me that they have a large bag where they place all the Qs and as long as they're in there by the following Saturday evening (they send to corporate on Sunday am), they're OK.
        3. Re: Rite Aid Q – my store will let you use multiple $5 off with one purchase if your amt is over $25 as well as splitting letting you do multiple $25 orders if that is what you want to do.

        • kidsallgone

Thanks! I think I'll ask customer service if they will do that for some that expired on the 21st. I did give some of them to the cashier to toss out though :( Should've asked CS first I guess. Thanks for the info though!

      • Lori

Some cashiers make you split up your transaction and some take all of them at the same time. As long as you have spent enough money. It is not a problem. At CVS they take two 5 off 25, as long as you have spent 50.00

        • kidsallgone

I was just wondering if Publix had a limit on how many they would take in their policy. Don't know if I was just lucky that the cashier did that or it was really OK. And what if I had 3 or 4 of the $5.00 off $25.00? Would Publix take all of them if my order was $125.00? Just asking…..

      • WynetteC

In my Publix, I found them on a separate shelf than the band-aid products. The J&J First Aid kits were on the same isle as the toothpaste, just further down past all the deodorants and they have them hanging on hooks next to other travel type items that you would buy to take on a trip.

        • kidsallgone

You would think the pharmiscist would have known (or found out) by now. Guess I should have asked customer service. LOL! I stood there for EVER on the deoderant and toothpaste aisle! If that First Aid item was a snake, it woulda BIT ME! Well, that is if there were any left! LOL! I did really good with the Sure deoderant, Listerine, and Pert Plus. Used store and manuf q's and I think got all of it free or close to it! I couldn't resist telling someone who was getting ready to buy the Pert Plus that there was a store coupon for it. LOL! Thanks for all you do Jenny! Coming back to Chas soon?

      • kelliepp

At my publix they WOULD NOT take anything from CVS, Rite Aid, Target they said they only take grocery store coupons.

        • kidsallgone

Oh! Wow! Guess I was lucky at my Publix!

          • kelliepp

I am in Lex SC anyone know or have issues with that?

            • Meredith W.

I am in Lex, SC too and they told me before that they only take competitor coupons from grocery stores. They won't take Target or drug store q's because they are not “direct competitors.” Hope this helps!

        • Melody

From what I've been told by Customer Service Managers at Publix… The store that you are wanting to use the coupons from has to be within 5 miles of the store.

      • dhogue

      • chelsea

J&J first aid kit is with the travel size items in the pharmacy section. One store said they were discontinued but had been kept near the cash registers. I got 2 free!

      • Angel in Charleston

In Summerville, SC I found the kits on an end cap near the pharmacy. There were lots of small trial-size items hanging there.

I have never tried to use more than one competitor $ off $ Q. Perhaps you were able to use two because of the amount you spent – in this case, over $50? Don’t know for sure. It probably depends on the store/manager.

The only time I have used expired coupons is when the item is out of stock and I have to get a raincheck. If the Qs are due to expire soon, I have the store manager initial the Qs and then they will still accept them after expiration. Hope this helps!

      • Aimee

J&J first aid is found in the travel items section at my store

      • Jessthere

I just love the Publix's I shop at. Last week I had printed $5/$30 CVS coupons and went to the manager and asked if I seperated my transaction could I use more than 1. He said no problem, so I used 3 there and then went down the road to another Publix that also takes CVS and finished my shopping there with smaller stuff. Was a great week with Publix and Kroger, spent $110 and saved $226 and this included $23.00 of NY strips steaks for my boyfriends B-day dinner :)

    • This looks like a decent week for being over budget this month… I will most likely skip this week except for the ziplock bags that I will be able to get for free after using the third and final mail in rebate form, and possibly the steam fresh because we are running low on veggies.

      • chrissy

I hear that Kroger is about to have a Ziploc Catalina….

        • AmberRut

Kroger DOES have the Zip catalina… $2.00 spits out wyb 3. But Kroger has JACKED up the price of their ziplocs and Publix has the better deal THIS WEEK… you could always hold out for Kroger to reduce the price of them. I was bummed :( I needed gallon size and they were $4.79/box!!! No way Jose!

    • handieeeeee

The hunts coupon still says it has expired

    • $2 off Publix Bread wyb Deli Shaved Meats and Kraft Singles Cheese

This coupon is not for Kraft “singles” it is for Kraft “DELI DELUXE”, which is not on sale this week.

      • Brooke82

Usually a store will take a Q if it is by the same manufacturer and the same type of product. For example when the dawn dish detergent is on sale I use the dawn hand renewal Q for it and it works. Same for many other items also.

        • FL_Girl

You shouldn't be able to. You should only use the coupon for the item specified. If you are using a Dawn Hand Renewal Coupon, you should be buying Dawn Hand Renewal. Even if the store takes it, you should only make sure that you are buying what is on the coupon.

          • KAWilson

If the manager says they will take it — I see no problem with it. I have asked and used coupons on similar items and not the exact item. Like the manager told me –'we are not going to lose your business over a .50 coupon'…. I love Publix.

      • Sorry when I printed mine it ended up saying Kraft Sliced Cheese singles. Does it now specifically state deluxe on the coupon?

        • Mom2Ryley

Mine says Deluxe on the coupon as well.

        • Jennifer

Mine says Kraft Sliced Cheese Singles as well!

        • Suemh

Mine say single sliced also but I prnted them a while back and they are expired! Just my luckl

        • christie1225

Mine just says kraft sliced cheese

          • Lynn

I'm new to couponing and am trying to print the $2.00 off publix bread coupon wyb 2 kraft singles cheese, and it says I already printed. Does anyone have any suggestions? My store does take expired coupons (if that means anything). Thanks!

    • jess14

Does anyone know the zip code for the Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix?? Thanks!

      • Mom2Ryley

I tried 90210, and it is on a coupon including Fiber One. I almost missed it.

      • carrieblee

I used 90210 and found the Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix.

    • Jessica529

Has anyone tried combining the store q's with man q's? I was just wondering if the wording on the q's was going to keep them from being stacked.

      • Jessica529

Sorry- I was referring to the one stop one store booklet.

        • kimberly

I have stacked a manufacturer's coupon with the coupons from the one stop one store book.

    • Snowski824

That Sundown Naturals in the 1/24 RP expired on 3/10/10

    • Lisa

I just wanted to let you know that the Birdseye Frozen Veggies are on sale in the green advantage for $1/2, so I believe, if you combine the publix coupon w/ the manufacturer's coupon, you can get the cheapest of their veggies for free (corn, rice, etc). Also, there's a typo under the Sara Lee desserts – it's 1.75 off the strawberries, not 1.25. Thank you so much for gathering all this for us! We have been saving so much!!! 63 on a 9 dollar bill…. 64 on a 17 dollar bill… awesome!!!

    • the Hunt's recession pay back coupon is dead i think :-) I tried it twice, and beat up some scary people and it said offer expired. at least the game is fun? :)

    • Christine

Some of the magazines this month have -$1/1 coupons for the Ronzoni smart taste.I've gotten three of them. Family fun and Family Circle had them can't remember the other.

      • 3monkeysmom

I found one in Martha Stewart's Everyday Foods :-)

      • elisa

I got one of those out of Shape Magazine (I think), but my Publix doesn't have the Smart Taste varieties on sale. =(

    • There is a Target printable coupon for $1.00 off of Kelloggs NurtiGrain Bars. Use it with the the MFR coupon to save $2.00! :o)

      • cari

        omg – thank you!!!

    • moongoddessmommy

Just FYI – The Publix at Kennerly Crossing in Columbia/Irmo says they can't accept “web” coupons from competitors. They'll accept a manufacturer's coupon with a competitor's logo on it, but nothing that says “web coupon” on it (appears the Food Lion coupons do say web coupon).

      • Allison

I have found the Publix on Hwy 6 in Irmo to be much more Q friendly.

        • JENN

          • Khutch

It's in Irmo, SC. Northwest of Columbia, near Lake Murray. It's a great store! :)

        • River

They will not take Target Web coupons, but took Food Lion. (Irmo Dr. Publix)

    • kimberly

Does anyone know if the chocolate Cheerios are included in this sale?

      • Lori

Yes they are. I am using the 1.00 off Publix coupon, and then the .50 off coupon from cherrios web site. It should make it 10 cents a box I think.

        • If they are included, I'll be using the 1.25 IP coupon AND the 1.00 store Q. FREE.

          • Lori

Where did you get the 1.25 off coupon?

            • They were posted on several blogs weeks and weeks ago and I saved them hoping for the right sale.

        • Michelle

Not sure where you are, but in Madison, AL these were 3.99 BOGO so it would be free with those two coupons!!3

      • Mom2Ryley

Yes, they are included! I just got a box :)

    • Kris

Capri Sun 10 pks are 3/$5 and Family Dollar had coupons for $.50/2

      • Brittany

I didn't know we could use Family Dollar coupons! Is this only at Publix?

        • Brittany

Nevermind. I posted this without reading the rest of the posts.

    • Anonymous

Under the Publix weekly ad for BOGO I am unable to link to the printable coupon for Oscar Meyer Beef Franks at $4.19 ($2.09). It is also stated that there is “coupon on product”; however, twice last week with bread & cereal that was stated and I found no “couon on product”. So I am counting on the printable coupon yet when I click on the link I am taken to the Southern Savers Bi-Lo page. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have the correct link to this OM beef franks coupon? Thanks in advance for any help:o) P.S. I’m new to SouthernSavers.com and I LOVE this site, saved me so-ooo much $ this past week!! THANK YOU to the powers that be:o)

There’s a .75¢ off 1 Smart Taste Ronzoni coupon here: http://www.smarttastechallenge.com/index.cfm making it FREE!

      • Christine

      • elisa

The Smart Taste and Healthy Harvest were not part of the deal at my Publix–just the regular Ronzoni. =(

        • lyssibee

Ronzoni Smart Taste is not part of the sale at Publix this week, BUT it is included in the mega sale at Kroger this week – so that .75 coupon makes it FREE!!

    • keb2009

ah yes! my nemesis bob evans and con-agra are back! bob needs to reset his coupons and con-agra can just shove their stupid recession game where the sun don't shine!

      • madornato

Hey, I played the stupid recession game and still didn't get the Hunt's coupon. I had to go all the way through it before it told me that the Hunt's coupon offer was unavailable at this time. Fooey!

        • sharinlife

Same thing happened to me ..when I played the “recession game”. :(

      • hopenewmoonisbetter

I KNOW! That game has never worked for me. I'm not even going to waste my time trying to get the coupon this week. Oh well.

        • melissa74

That game has never worked for me either. I just want some peanut butter but would REALLY like a coupon to get it.

      • carol

I just played the game to get the Orville R. and Marie Callendar coupons.

    • khaefliger

In our nashville ad, Land o Lakes butter is 2 for$4, and I have some .50/2 coupons from smartsource printables for it. Don't know if they are still available, but LOL butter is normally 3.69, so I'm stocking up!

      • Sandy

Land o Lakes butter is B1G1 at Ingles this week, I scored 2 @ .07 a tub with .50 Qs that they doubled.

Can someone clarify the Ocean Spray Coupons that are listed with the sale items. I am confused because the O.S. coupons are product specific, and the items worded on sale at Publix do not sound like the same thing. Is it okay to use the $1 off veggie juice on let's say O.S. Cranberry Cocktail Juice. Or perhaps is the ad suggesting to use the coupon only on the Veggie juice (only IF) it's on sale?

      • Snowski824

It's the extra large bottles of juice and I didn't see an extra large veggie juice.

    • LoriGrissom

I didn't find Land-O-Lakes butter on this list. It is in my Publix sale paper this morning. Just looking for Qs.

      • Charlotte

They were in SS 3/14–50 cents off 2. That will make it $1.50 a box.

    • ams

Here is what give couponers a bad name and makes stores stop a lot of their good deals. Go to atlanta's craigs list and type in this #1657696934.

      • Snowski824

Oh My Goodness, that is out of control!

      • That is ridiculous!!

      • Rae

Ugh – that is so very….classless and tacky. I won't go so far as to say WRONG, because I don't know her “situation” but I would suspect people like her are the reason I rarely see coupons in Publix anymore.

      • She needs to take a break from it for a while… Use what she has.

      • irisfaith

If I post how I really feel about this lady, it would surely have to be removed! I am going to say that she needs to donate that stuff, and leave it at that.

      • Jennifer

Whoa, that is a little excessive.

      • DonnaTN

Not knowing her story or how long she's been stockpiling is unknown…although she has a TON of stuff, I wouldn't judge on the pictures or what is described. I say if she's doing it the RIGHT way with her coupons then so be it but if she's not then pity on her! So you can't look at a books cover until you open it up, IMO. And good thing she's not in my area!! LOL

      • ileana

OMG, you are right! I know that some of our pantries may look this way but it is for our personal use or to help others. I like how she needs to “make room.”

      • moneysaved4disney

wow! is that even legal? It is like she has a convenience store in her home!

      • April

I saw another lady with even more stuff on youtube when I was looking for coupon binders… ridiculous is putting it nicely!

      • Marina115

I hope she's got a permit! Somehow, I doubt selling food items is legal! There a people who can get addicted to anything, over eating, shopping, hording. She obviously has a serious problem of out of control couponing. I get really exciting when I get a great deal on something that's normally expensive. But some people have to have that feeling ALL the time. It's an addiction.

      • Khutch

Holy Cow! Well, the only thing I can think of to say positive about that is at least she's organized.

      • momto2boys

And that is why the shelves are cleaned out and I can never find the coupon booklets. And why the cashier goes though my coupons like I am doing something wrong. I hope she has a good reason and can say she is being honest but I have a feeling she's not.

      • Lucy

Wow, that lady got some huge issues. wow!

      • Jessthere

Would have like to see what this woman is up to that everyone is talking about but can't seem to find it with doing a search with the #.

      • Sherry

      • Phyllis

The only problem I have with this lady is that it is probably illegal to sell that stuff like that. I don't agree with the re-selling of her stash, but I see nothing wrong with her stockpile, to each his own. I don't have anything that size (I wouldn't have the room even if I wanted to). I would rather see that stuff go to charity. I think at minimum it is shady for her to resell (at worst illegal) but let's not hate on her for snagging good deals if it is done correctly.

    • becky e

Im having problems with the Sarah Lee coupon. Any ideas?

    • JIMason6965

I attempted to print the HUNTS tomato sauce coupon from the ConAgra FoodsWebsite. This is the printable coupon link for Hunts tomato sauce under this weeks BOGO from Publix. After going through the most ridiculous “Recession Payback” game to get the Hunts coupon it stated that the offer had expired. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Karian

Oh, yes I did have the same problem. That was 20 minutes with the game not loading right and having to start it over 3 times!! I was so irritated wasting all that time for no coupon!

        • DonnaTN

I was able to play it on Sunday and got my coupons.

    • Lizabeth

I was wondering if anyone that shops at the OOLTEWAH TN Publix has had any luch with any of the booklets lately??

      • Lizabeth

        that would be luck!!!

        • DonnaTN

They have the ONE STOP ONE STORE. They don't usually have all that Jenny lists on here which is a bummer but any is better than none!

      • BEimers

The one on Brainard Rd. I think normally has coupon books behind the counter that you just have to ask for.

        • beepie

except they never have any! I ask every time I go in there and they always say they don't have them. Even the advantage buy flyers are usually gone! Maybe I'm just going at the wrong time.

          • ckb5

I rarely find any coupons at the E. Brainerd location, either.

    • wakejessica

any suggestions on the keebler coupon. i click on the link and i can see where it says to click to get your coupon but i click and nothing happens?

    • wendyc33

cheap mayo, but im a southerner of course and only buy bama mayo.
Is hellmanns a good mayo? Some taste so different. Also i know for me no matter how cheap that greek yogurt is. It is so gross….lol. Sorry jmo..and i love lots of diff. yogurt. Also on the creamer. Can u use the 1.00 off 2 store q, and buy 2, use two manu coupons?, or is it just 1 manu q, and 1 store q ? Thanks

      • Snowski824

You can use 1 store and 2 manufacturer.

      • GA Mom

Hellman's is the only mayo I'll eat. I buy the light and it's great!

        • terrianne421

Hellman's is the only mayo my family will eat. I have tried others but they are all NASTY compared to Hellman's.

      • Marina115

I love hellmans mayo!! It's the only kind my family will eat. I've tried the light and olive oil kind, they're really good but regular is always my first choice. For such a great price, it's worth it to try it. I also agree w/ you on the yogurt! It tastes like it's spoiled, but my mother loves it! Go figure!!

      • anniet1018

        Helmans is the best.

      • Becky

Hellman's is my favorite, but my husband will only eat Dukes–and we're both born and raised in the South. I think you can taste the eggs more in the Hellman's and I like that, particularly in potato salad.

      • beepie

I am so with you on that greek yogurt tasting bad! I love greek yogurt and was thrilled to be getting it for free, but I don't even want to eat it after tasting it. UGH!!

    • Jen

I was looking at RP coupons and there was an advertisement on the side saying $5 off $20 at Save-a-lot. This is only for certain cities, but I’m guessing that the publix in those cities may take these as competitor coupons:
      it came from here:
      The coupon is here:

Wish I lived in one of the cities!

      • Lisa

Thank you I do live in one of these cities and didnt know about it. This is great

    • Joy

I was just at Publix and the New Lay's “All Natural” Chips are included in the BOGO. There was a coupon for $1.00/1 last week or the week before. I clip all mine so I'm not sure of the insert date. Makes bags of chips $1!

      • Erin

in my ad, it excludes the naturals specifically, but I'll check when I go either way.

        • Lori

Same here…I am looking at the ad right now.

    • Michelle

Where are you finding the tearpads of coupons at Publix? Last night there were no tearpads anywhere in my Publix, Florida. I asked at the customer service desk and they were clueless. I was very flustered.

      • Tearpads are usually left by the supplier and are usually found hanging or laying by the item. Example, there is a $1 off ground beef WYB 2 Kraft singles tear pad and at our stores, it is laying on the shelf by the Singles. You will find tear pads on endcap displays quite often, aswell.

    • Emily

Hi thanks for all your hard work!!!!!!!! The ad will run until 4-3 because of Easter :)

      • Shelley

        Is this really true?

        • DonnaTN

My ad says Publix is closed on easter so that they can spend time with their families too! :)

    • Joy

My Publix seems to have an unadvertised BOGO on cans of Dole Pineapple. So excited as I just used my last one!

    • joyfullysaving

Not sure where to post this but there is a free sample of Dove hair products at this website

      • moneysaved4disney

I think it would be great if Jenny could start some sort of discussion board on this site to post stuff like what you found and other deals that don't pertain to certain stores/ads. There is one that I know of, but I prefer southernsavers users…the other board has a lot of people that cheat!

    • Selena

If you have the target coupon ($1off)on Oscar Meyer Bacon along with the manu.fact. coupon ($1.50 off), you can get bacon this week at Publix for $0.50 a pack. Awesome deal!!!

      • 3monkeysmom

The one I had from Target expired 3/21. I looked to see if it was still on there, no such luck :-(

      • nomorejs

I work for Publix and we do not accept target coupons

        • Lori

My Publix does….it depends on the store location and manager.

        • Amber

My Publix accepts all Target Q's and ours isn't a SuperTarget

        • Jamie

Our Publix won't take Target, either…..check your store for sure!

          • randi

my publix takes target, kmart, family dollar and all of the drugstores (cvs, wags, rite aid)… I guess I am lucky…

    • MB

I am new to couponing and wanted to thank you for making it so simple. I have always matched ad prices, but this has made the couponing part so easy to follow! Thanks

    • wolverinehokie

My Publix had a buy 3 get 1 for Oreo, Ritz, or Chips Ahoy. If you use it on the Ritz you can get 4 for the price of 1. You should still be able to use a $1 off too so 57 cents per box.

    • Jessica

I was just looking at the Publix ad, and for the Ritz B1G1 deal, it states Ritz Crackers or Munchables, *not Crackerfuls* Are you sure it's the Crackerfuls that are also B1G1? I would hate to bring in the wrong coupons… Thanks!

      • calebsmomma

I just left there. The crackerfuls are BOGO

      • Khutch

Yes, Crackerfuls are bobo too. Just went this morning.

        • Khutch

          Make that bogo :)

          • Lori

Good…I put them in my daugher's lunch. She goes through a box a week and they are so expensive when not on sale!

            • kdominy450

My Publix didn't have the Crackerfuls labeled as BOGO, but I purchased one box with a coupon and it did ring up at the BOGO price.

    • Khutch

Didn't see it listed here, but my store (Murray Landing, Irmo) has Dole canned pineapple bogo :)

      • Lisa

sorry… I didn't think this posted earlier! Didn't mean to post it twice!

      • Lucy

Yea, I'm excited about the BirdsEye veggies too. I've used both coupon when they were on sale 3 weeks ago. Using both coupons makes white rice, yellow seasoned rice, and lightly sauced red potatoes FREE plus overage. By the way potatoes are nasty, but rice was not that bad.

    • RozR

Has anyone used the coupon LU# 2963 on the back of the “have you seen this” little coupon booklet, where if you buy three of the items listed you get $5 GC?
It actually reads “On your next trip buy any THREE of these items and save $5 on your purchase of a Publix gift card”
I'm confused! lol Do you get a GC like at Target? Do you get $5 off your purchase? Do you buy a GC worth $5 for free?
I'm wanting to use up my duster coupons to get a good deal and then use that coupon but I don't get it!
      Any help would be appreciated!

    • April

On the Classico pasta sauce… does the $1.50 off beef coupon count towards the sauce or the beef? I guess I want to know if you can use the $1.50 off beef and the $1/2? Thanks.

      • Khutch

The $1.50 counts off of the beef. So yes, you can use both coupons. Just did it this morning, no problem :)

    • Teresa

The Tropicana orange juice in the Albany flyer is $2.50 here. Things are always just a little more expensive (for who knows what reason)(sigh) here but glad I still got the B1G1 so still a good deal. Looking forward to going Saturday morning for lots of other great prices listed.

      • Amanda

The juice is 2.50 in Canton, too! But, like you said, with the B1G1 coupon it's still a good deal!

    • rebeccadragonfly

Have to share the deal I got on my lunch break a little while ago. I went to Publix to get the Sure for Men deodorant but they were out of stock (again…I've been to several different Publix stores and they are always out) so I picked up a regular Sure. Also got a Sure for Women and two boxes of Kashi Heart to Heart cereal.

I asked the checkout lady about using the coupon for Sure for Men on the regular b/c they continue to not have it in stock and she got the manager's approval. Then she had to get her approval again to ring up the coupon for $1.50 off.

So I used 2 $1 off store coupons for Sure deodorant, 2 $1.50 off Men's deodorant (b/c she rang it up like that) and 2 $1.50 off Kashi cereal and my GRAND TOTAL was 85 cents!!!

I looked at the receipt when I got in the car and one of the deodorants rang up at $1.20.

    • MamaGreg

Anyone see if the Chocolate Cheerios were included in the BOGO?

      • Khutch

        Yep! They sure are :)

        • MamaGreg

Excellent! Thanks! My husband is slightly addicted to them and I refuse to buy unless they are a great deal!

    • My Publix ad (from Macon, GA) says the Chinet Classic White Plates are $4.99 and not $1.50 on sale. I just thought I would let people know.

    • Carrie

Does anyone know if we can use the printable Hellman's Publix coupons ($1/1) with the Hellman's Publix coupon ($1/1) from the Multiply Your Meals and Savings booklet? I would think not because both have a Publix L.U. # on them – though the numbers are different. On the other hand, the printable Publix coupon states “Manufacturer's Coupon” with one of the 3 bar codes that usually print.

      • xtaxlady

I bought 2 jars of Hellmans yesterday & used 2 of the Multiply your Meals coupons & one of the Publix/Manufacturer coupon & the cashier took all three. I was really suprised too!

    • derl

      Publix prizes have gone up

      • rykar

What prizes. I've never seen in prizes in any of the stores I shop in.

    • Wanda M

Is it just me or has anyone else in Summerville been missing SmartSource inserts from the P&C? This has happened to me twice in 1 month and I've purchased the papers from 2 different stores. I called P&C and told them I was highly upset when I looked in the paper and only had 1 RedPlum and nothing else. They're supposed to get back with me.

      • addysmoke

Oddly enough, I picked up a P&C in West Ashley Sunday, and I got 2 redplums (they were the same insert) and a smart source.

      • Kelly

I, too, have been disappointed lately with the Post and Courier. I was missing the insert for the Hasbro games. I get the paper delivered each day, but I always buy a few more each week if it is a good coupon week. There is no consistency in the inserts included. For instance, this past week one was missing the CVS salespaper, another the Walgreens. I have complained several times about missing inserts to no avail.
On a separate note, this week the Publix in Knightsville told me they no longer accept Family Dollar competitor coupons. They do accept almost anything else though, so not complaining… I love Publix!!

    • manuela

If anyone is interested in the ACT Mouthwash there is a $1off Coupon in the Walgreens March Coupon Booklet that you can combine with the MQ, which makes it only $1.50!
      Makes for a good deal!

    • Donna

I just had my first not so pleasant experience @ Publix today. this was not the Publix I normally shop at, but it is close to my office. I probably will not go back to that location. I went to grab a few deals on my lunch hour. Just had to get the the ingredients for strawberry shortcake for $1.14 after coupons and a few other things. I ony had 9 items, which should not have been that difficult for him to see what I was buying. He was looking over everything like a hawk and looking confused. He looked at the bagger and started laughing when I handed him my stack of q's before we got started. I said to him its all there and I put the coupons in order as they were on the belt to ring up. He replied, “I just have to make sure it's all here cause I get in trouble.” I had coupons for every item plus a few store ones to stack. That is the first time I have been treated that way for using coupons. What is so funny about using coupons?

      • Michelle M

almost the same thing at my publix here in boynton beach florida, i put them in order…even put my free items at the end so she could easily find the price…she scattered my coupons , separated the internet coupons from the sunday coupons, she went as far as asking the bag boy to find the shampoo that was already in the bag. he did this a couple of times and then he walked away. people behind me were furious AT ME!! when i asked what she was doing, she replied “i have to make sure everything is here or i will get in trouble”. then i had two free items from a coupon and she went to the bags again and scanned them..omg…i couldn't believe it. then she wouldn't let me stack a manuf coupon with a publix coupon. (she said you already got the item for free i am not giving you a dollar off) i know who she is now and i stay away from her!! maybe she is trying to make it uncomfortable so people will stop using them. Sometimes cashiers are happy and excited over the savings and others act as though we are steeling out of their pocket…(by the way it was about 20 items… not too many).

        • I also had a recent cashier tell me” were giving you that for free, I can't give you another $1 off”. I told him that it was their store policy to accept both Q's, and to call the mgr. She agreed with me. I got my $1 of overage.

        • Michelle

You know they are being silly for not taking the Manu Q along with the Publix Q. here is the way I look at it. If you get an item for free with a Publix coupon, Publix is just out that money. However, if they go ahead and take the Man Q, then they get reimbursed for that item! It makes financial sense for them to take both coupons….and not just the Publix Q. That cashier was cheating her store out of getting the money back for the Manu Q.

          • Snowski824

I look at it like this, if they don't want you to stack a Publix Q with a Manf Q they either need to not print the Publix Q's or change their policy. Until then, don't be surprised that people use both.

        • leah9798

There are only 2 Publix's where I live and both stores do that and every cashier I have gone to has done that, every single time. My mother in law went a few weeks ago and she was so embarrassed, they actually closed the line down to go through her coupons. I think Publix has had a big problem with fraud.

        • Lori

I had a new cashier act like that at my Publix that I always go too. I told her to go get her manager that you can stack coupons, and that I come here every Friday and shop here. She came back and let me use the coupons, but she didn't apologize and she wasn't friendly…I almost complain b/c I never have had a bad experience at that Publix and I go there every week! I will not go to her again!

        • Lucy

Same thing happened to me yesterday. It was late, and the only cashier available was the “confused” one. I hate shopping with her. Even if I have ONE coupon, she messes it up. I only had about 10 coupons, and she didn't know what to do with any of them. I had 2 coupons for FREE stuff, but she kept telling me that it is for “buy one get one free”. I told her, “read the coupon, it says FREE”, and finally she took it off. She had to go speak to the manager twice, held up the whole line. Refused to take stacked manf. and Publix coupons, I just left it at that, didn't want to create a wait in line. She even had trouble with Publix vimamins coupon $6/2 – she kept saying that fish oil is drawn on the coupon and I could not use it for vitamin D. She finally confirmed it with the manager… all she had to do was read the coupon, it says “… any Sundown naturals vitamins”. Anyway I am NEVER shopping with her again.

        • Ashley Q.

When I first started couponing a few months ago I ran into 2 older cashiers at my regular store and had similar issues. Over the months I have kept going back to them (sometimes because I had no other choice) and have now gotten to know their styles. I also ALWAYS walk up with a positive attitude and joke about my “deals” so if it turns sour, it isn't me. Since I am an honest couponer (and if anything is in question I always ask before loading into the cart) things are now smoother with them. It seems even the “younger guys” that use to be the preferred cashier have had to start double checking (I'm sure it is from management since soooo many more people are starting to coupon) and it even takes a bit longer with them now. Because of this, it seems lately that these two ladies that I once had issues with are now preferred because it goes sooooo much quicker. I guess my point is, if you stick with them, and become familure with them, attitudes could change and they could become a cashier of choice.

      • cassey

I learned from a friend to always hit up the teenage cashiers because they care less (on average and yes I am stereotyping). I have found that to be soooo true now that I have started. No offense to the old ladies but they tended to be more anal about it all. I also like the cashiers that a little farther away from the customer service desk so there aren't managers lurking around. You would think managers would be helpful but I find that they make the cashiers jittery sometimes. Find the cashier that works best for you and stick with them.

        • JumpingJupiter

Just dont be surprised when you find a young cashier that DOES care and knows what he/she is doing, what he/she can and cannot do, and abides by it.

        • I hate to say it, but it's true – I don't know if they care less, but the older ones seem to be ruder, less aware of the policies, slower, and overall act like couponers are stealing. I try to avoid whenever possible just b/c they can't handle a serious couponer!

    • ziggy34434

Be sure to check for store coupons for Cheerios from the Publix Baby Club. I noticed I had one this morning.

    • RJcoupons

Family Dollar has a coupon booklet(coupons expire 3-31-10)if your Publix accepts their coupons as a competitor.

Here are some of the match-ups for the upcoming Publix sale:

      Hellmann’s Mayonnaise 30oz – 50 cents off one
Kraft salad dressing 16oz – 1.00 off two
      Kraft/Velveeta shells&cheese dinner – 50 cents off two

      Cap’n Crunch cereal 16oz – 50 cents off one
Breyers ice cream 48oz – 75 cents off one

      • melissa74

The Publix in Goose Creek, SC no longer takes Family Dollar coupons. Found that out two weeks ago when Downy was on sale and I tried to use a Family Dollar coupon. Someone else said they won't take Target anymore but I haven't tried that lately.

      • MomMe

Where can you get the family dollar coupons? are the in store or in the paper?

        • RJcoupons

I found the coupon book in the front of th store. The coupons expire on 3/31/10.

          • couponmammy

They were also on their website.

    • Coupon Sista

I must say this is so cute! And awesome. Never have I found a blog that list the deals and allows you to print a shopping list. AWESOME!

    • Coupon Sista

This is so freakin' cute! I love the printable shopping list. AWESOME!

    • mrsembee

Just got back from my local Publix (Smyrna, TN). The B1G1 Ronzoni pasta does not include the “smart taste” variety. Also, this Publix does not accept Rite Aid coupons since it is not considered a grocery store. It's all good, though, I spent $16.62 and saved $30.70! This site is such a lifesaver!

    • Amanda

FYI, I went to Publix in Lexington, SC today and they have the coupons again for the Hallmark Expressions Cards, they are $2/3 cards. I picked up a pack of 6 Easter cards for 4.99 and they let me use this coupon, I would've used two put didn't want to push my luck, but I guess you could use two and get 6 Hallmark Easter cards for .99, can't beat that at the Dollar Tree even.

    • Meredith

The Oscar Meyer Beef Franks at the Mt. Pleasant Publix do not have a coupon on them. I checked all the ones on sale. Also, the Stacy Pita Chips do not have a tearable coupon either. I asked at customer service.Overall I save $23 and spent only $14 and today was my first day doing this. I am so happy!

    • Christy

Spent $60.00 and saved $99.00 today at Publix thanks to this site!!! THANK YOU!! :)

    • My South FL publix has $1 peelies on the Betty Crocker brownie mixes. I also saw the same “Stock Up' peelies on Chex Mix. Combine the peelie with the 50 cent Q and get 2 for 9 cents.

    • FP

Can I use a formula check and publix formula coupon together?

      • db

        yes you can

      • most definitely!

      • fp

Thanks! I have tons of formula checks that expire at the end of the month and some store coupons as well :)

        • I've never tried it, but the checks are supposed to be taken like cash, so more than one can be used on a can. My cousin does it this way with no problem. if you belong to the baby club and have any of those Q's, stack your store Q, babyclub Q and check for a better deal. I asked about using a manufacturer Q and baby club Q and in-ad Q on diapers and my mgr. said yes. I bought boxes and boxes of diapers several weeks when there was in in-ad Q that matched up to the others. Some people on here, said that wouldn't or didn't work for them. Ask, you never know till you ask.

    • sandy

can you use two $1/2 coupons when you but two items? Like the lysol? Can I buy two cans and use 2 $1/2 coupons to make them .34 each?

      • DonnaTN

No, you can only use 1 $1/2 on 2 items and 2 $1/2 if you buy 4.

    • ginnyw

I went to Publix today and spent around 50.00 and saved over 66.00! That's my best yet. I think one other time I saved more than I spent! I just love this site and appreciate all you do! Thanks!

    • Laura K

For the Hunt's tomato sauce, don't forget the $1/5 in the ConAgra Rediscover your Balance booklet. Makes them $0.30 each.

    • Sylvia

Went to Publix on Harbison last week and they refused to accept some coupons from Target and RiteAid – I thought they accepted competitors coupons. What's up with that?

      • Carrie

That Publix must not consider Target and RiteAid as competitors. In my town, we have a CVS and Walgreens but Publix will only consider the Winn Dixie and the Save-A-Lot in our town as competitors. So, Publix does take competitor coupons, but the issue is who do they consider their competitor? It seems to be different for each Publix, depending on the location and the competitors around them.

      • Dale

Hit wrong button..didn't mean to hit “like”. Wanted to say I have shopped at Harbison Publix for over a year. They have never allowed Target or CVS coupons, only grocery stores. The manager also confirmed this with me on more than one occasion. Not sure what your cashier was doing..but it is not their policy.

    • bonnie

The coupon for Sara Lee… do they email you the link to the coupon??? I still haven't received it.

      • cj

After I registered, a link appeared in red at the top of my registration form. I clicked on that to print the coupon.

    • colagirl

Quick question. I want to buy 4 boxes of Chocolate Cheerios. I have four $1 off Publix store coupons and four .50 cent manufacturer coupons (double to $1 each). I also have two $1 off two boxes. I know I can use a manufacturer coupon and a Publix coupon on each. Can I use the two $1 off when you buy two boxes coupons on top of that too?

      • Kim

You could, but you'd have to buy 8 boxes to use all the coupons you listed. 4 to pair with the $1 off Publix & the four .50 cent coupons, and then 4 more boxes to pair with the two $1 off two boxes. Make sense? Still would be a GREAT deal for cheerios!

    • kelliepp

Does anyone know where I can find the Oreo coupon in store pull where if you purcahse the Oreo you get cakesters free – I am in Lexington, SC I know that it is not at Publix and last time that I saw them was at Foodlion about month to month and half. Any help would be apprecaited.

    • Melody

Just a wonderful FYI Several of the B1G1 items this week have peelie Publix coupons on them! I haven't read to find out if you can use a Man. coupon with it but still thats exciting!

      • Carrie

You should be able to use man. coupons with the Publix peelies if the peelies are truely from Publix. Publix coupons have a LU# on them. If by peelies, you mean the ones that are usually stuck on the product themselves, these are usually man. coupons and therefore would not be able to be stacked with other man. coupons. Hope this helps.

        • I saw several items with Publix Stock Up peelies on them. This was the night before the sale started,, so I don't know for certain if they were store or not… Anyway, my store allows the use of the peelie and the coupon.

    • leah9798

Just wanted to add that Ritz Munchables are also B1G1 at my store in Central Fl.

      • crystalfawn

Thanks for the tip Leah. I am in Longwood and have that $1.00 cpn. I have a van full of spring breakers arriving this week so it will come in handy :-)

      • Amber

@ my Publix too (Brunswick, Ga)

    • elisa

Does anyone know how much the Huggies diapers are at Publix? I noticed there is a $3 off Huggies store coupon in the “One Stop, One Store” booklet. I really need wipes and I was thinking I could use:
      $3 off Huggies Publix q
      $3 off Huggies manufacturer's q
Buy One Huggies diapers, Get One Huggies wipes Free Publix q
$0.75 off Huggies wipes manufacturers q

Does anyone know if this would work and what Huggies usually cost at Publix? Thanks!

      • Leah_in_SC

The boxes are $19.99 at my store.

        • elisa

          Thank you!

      • DonnaTN

Yes it would work, I did it a while back. I also had competitor coupons from Target or Foodlion you can use on top of those to make them even cheaper if your store accepts those. I got my wipes for free plus overage from the .75 man q and .50 wipes FLIP. My huggies boxes were 19.99 too

      • Jessthere

I believe in that book their is also a rebate to send in to get a $10 gift card from Publix, not sure about the amount you had to buy but I told my son in FL and sent him the huggies coupons and rebate form to use.

    • Lucy

Yay! Looks like Birds Eye steamfresh deal is back. Using a Publix coupon $1/2 and manf. coupon $1/2, you are saving $2 on 2 items, which makes sauced red potatoes and rice varieties FREE with some overage (they are about 79 cents – 99 cents on sale).

      • Leah_in_SC

The better deal is to use the $1/2 publix q and two $.35/1 or $.50/1 manu qs…that's if your store doubles. If they do, then you'd be saving $2.40 or $3.00 on 2 items. But, if that scenario doesn't work where you live, saving $2/2 is still a really good deal! =)

    • Roriek

Another $1.50 off Sure Men's Deodorant coupon is in the SS 02/28 flyer

    • Sara

Almost all of the coupons listed were not in the SS or RP that you listed. I found a couple in different weeks than listed, but not many.

      • pwilson4

they put different coupons in the inserts depending on the area you are in. If you get an Atlanta paper, for example, it usually has much better coupons than the Chattanooga paper.

      • Carrie

Go to a coupon database like the coupon clipper (dot) com or Hot coupon world (dot) com. I think they have lists that might help you find any coupons you are looking for if they aren't in the same inserts that are mentioned on this site.

    • Leah_in_SC

Hunts diced tomatoes and Rotel were also BOGO at my store. I'm down to my last can of tomatoes and was really hoping they'd be on sale with the tomato sauce, but forgot to take those qs. I'll just have to go back…ooh, and maybe I can get another box of free Chocolate Cheerios when I go.

      • Laura K

At my store in Atlanta only the Hunt's diced tomatoes were on sale; I skimmed through the ad and only saw those listed, and there was no sign around the sauces.

I did find an unadvertised BOGO sale on Buitoni fettuccine and linguine (and maybe one other type in the small packages–not the tortellini). Here they are $2.19, so $1.09 on sale. There is a $1/1 Bricks printable for them I think.

    • dana

ok.. so anyone able to print the I can't Believe its not butter qs???

    • Crystal

If I buy two Classico sauce and ground beef. Can I use 1.50 ground beef when you buy 2 sauce q and $1 off 2 sauce q. My cashier at Publix gave me the hardest time, but finally allowed it. Did I do it right? I also did this with the $2 off Publix bread q when you buy kraft cheese and lunch meat. I used q for cheese and lunch meat. I had such a horrible time at Publix. My cashier was definily not coupon friendly.

      • Snowski824

You did it right in both circumstances. Try a different cashier next time. They're all different.

      • RJcoupons

I bought 1-lb hamburger and 2 jars Classico sauce and used the mfg $1.50 off the beef and coupon sent by mfg $1.50/1 for sauce. I had no problems-but my Publix is wonderful and I never have issues!

    • Amanda

How many of the “Free Yoplait Greek Yogurt” store coupons can you use in one transaction?

      • Crystal

I got accused of photocopying my 1 coupon. I printed it off the website, but I guess the cashier was clueless, the manager said it was okay this time. I guess you at your own risk :)

      • Snowski824

I used 3 at once but they were from the paper so it was obvious they weren't copied.

    • bbtwinsmom

The link to Sister Schubert's q's states the offer has expired. (3/25 10:30a)

    • Lisa

I went to Publix yesterday and they had all of their refill packs for Pampers swipers, sensitive, and clean n go on sale 50% off. And in addition to that, there is a dollar of pampers wipes coupon in the new PG booklet (publix coupon) and either 1.50 or 1 manufacturer's coupons from mailers that you can use to get the refills for 1.00! Or if you have the 2.00 off pampers wipes coupon from the publix baby club, you get them for free!!!

    • coupon_queen

you guys i just realized- for the hellmans deal- don't wait- the store coupons expires the day before the manuf. coupon comes out so… that kind of stops that deal…

      • Brooke

If I'm remembering correctly, the printable publix coupon does not expire that soon. The one from that coupon booklet does.

        • coupon_queen

          which coupon is that?

        • crystalfawn

The printable coupon also expires on 3/27. My question is why is the printable labeled as manufacturers coupon when it has a L.U. #

          • Carrie

My manager said tonight (I went tonight since the coupon expired today) that even though the printable coupon states “Manufacturer Coupon” it has the L.U. (look up) number and therefore is actually a store coupon. I had hoped to stack the printable Helman's coupon with the one from the Publix coupon booklet (can't think of the name and too tired to look it up) for a really great deal, but the manager said no. I forgot to ask him about taking Publix coupons after they expire like I've read others have had their managers say it's okay.

      • GAmeg

In Atlanta, you can buy the Sunday AJC on Saturday with the coupons!

        • coupon_queen

hmmm, thats something to look into- im new to couponing so im picking up tips EVERY day!!

        • Marina115

Are the coupons always in there? I've seen them, but I'm always afraid to buy one and end up with no coupons!

          • Carrie

Just look through the paper before buying to make sure all the inserts are there. Jenny posts the number of inserts to look out for (just click “weekly inserts” at the top of the page). It embarrasing (all the people looking at you while you flip through them) and time consuming (I get 4 papers each Sunday) to do this, but worth it in the long run.

          • ct72

it is worth it to look through the paper. last week my daughter got some with no coupons in them

        • Melanie

This is a little more risky, but I always find the guy who sells the AJC on the road for $1 on Sunday mornings. I always do this and have never had a problem with the coupons being in there. Its great because I get 4 papers for only $4! :)

    • gingiraffe

Did anyone else see the P&G Future Friendly booklet at Publix this week? It has 12 P&G (store) coupons in it, plus an offer for a free Black & Decker LightsOut Autoswitch if you purchase $25 of P&G products in one transaction (or 2 lights if you purchase $45) plus a free Publix reusable bag if you purchase 2 items featured in the booklet. Offers expire 4-17.

    • AmberRut

Deal Alert: My Publix (Jiles Rd in Kennesaw GA) has 12pk AAA Duracell Batteries for $5. Buy 3 @15 use the Publix Q for $3 off PLUS 3 $1 MQs makes them $3/pack! You then qualify for 3 FREE reusable bags and if you add in the cascade deal it puts you at the $45 mark for the Mail in Rebate for the 2 free light switches.

My Publix total $301.32 paid $127.86 ;) Thanks SouthernSavers!

      • AmberRut

The batteries are on the clearance rack marked down to $5- sorry I didn't post that originally. AND on the same clearance rack were Pampers Easy Ups Mega Packs for $10. We don't use those anymore- but I thought they might be a good deal too?

        • bethany0226

At the Publix near LaVista Rd/Northlake Mall area, the Pampers mega packs were marked down to 7.50!

    • Ryan

If your store accepts Rite Aid q's, there is a $3 Rite Aid coupon for Quilted Northern.

      • nl

        where is it located?

        • Becky

I think it might be one of those Triple Rite Aid coupons which are in the weekly sales paper and are regional. I didn't get any of those in Greenville, SC.

      • Becky

Can't find it. Where did you find it?

      • Ryan

Yes. It is in the Rite Aid flyer for this week.

    • kidsallgone

About to head to Publix. Have my Teeter coupons ready, but don't know if I'm mentally ready LOL! So here's what I have and want to know how I can use them all (or maybe not all)?
      1. Publix coupon: $2.00 off 1 Febreze Home Collect. Flameless Luminary Starter Kit
      2. Man. coupon: $4.00 off one Febreze Flameless Lum. Starter Kit
      3. Man. coupon: Buy 1 Febreze Flameless Lum. Starter Kit and get One Febreze Flameless Lum. Refill
      4. Man. coupon: $1.00 off One Febreze Flameless Lum. Refill
      5. Can I buy 1 Starter kit and get $6.00 off, and get a free refill and still use the 1.00 off towards that?
      6. So I would be buying only 2 items total with $7.00 off plus minus the cost of a refill. Right? Wrong? Help???? Thanks!

      • lena12

My Publix would not allow 2 manufacturer coupons that cover 1 item like your Refill coupons do. Also, my Publix would not take a $1 off coupon for an item that is already free. You have 2 items and 3 manufacturer coupons, that is against Publix policy.

      • You could use the store Q and man. Q for the luminary. But only the free refill Q, not the $1 off Q for the refill. HTH

    • stephanie

In the Publix one stop one store booklet, theres a coupon for huggies, 3.00 off also theres a form to send in for a publix giftcard for 10.00 my publix had huggies on clearance 2 for 8.99, certain sizes, pull-ups as well. Be on the lookout, its a good money maker with the 3.00 manufacture coupons, also makes for some FREE diapers!!

    • Min

I just got a home mailer today for Kroger that had a 50 cents off coupon on Wesson oil! WOOT!

    • Melissa

There is a .55 bricks coupon for Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, 8 oz, $1.00

      • Kim

Thanks for posting this coupon for cream cheese! Does anyone know which issue of the Publix Grape magazine had the coupon for Philadelphia cream cheese?

        • lynn

i could not find it in the new issue or the last issue of grape mag. i looked thoroughly. i also could not find the bob evans store coupon in the family style mag. have no clue why.

        • Sara

It was two issues ago…. So I think it was either Feb or March.

      • crystalfawn

        :-D Thanks Melissa!!!!

      • THANKS!!!

      • qponmomma

I just printed the coupon for the cream cheese and it's .55/2. So not as good as we thought. That'll just be .27 off each. You will do better if you have any of the other coupons that Jenny listed. But if you don't, then I would use this one. HTH.

    • jam0267

This is the second time I've tried to get the Sara Lee Dessert coupon. I sign up and they say thanks, but there isn't a coupon. What am I doing wrong?

      • Kim

I had the same problem on my desktop computer – I think it may be because I have printed this coupon before. I used a different computer (that I had not printed the Sara Lee from before) and it worked, and I was able to print two! The same thing happened with my friend who had also printed it previously, so I gave her one of mine!

      • rydergal

When you click submit, the next page that pops up looks suspiciously like the blank registration form you just filled out. But, across the top of the form is a link that says “click here to print your coupon” in smallish red letters. Click there (make sure your popup blocker is disabled) and your print box will pop up.

    • kpojero

Another great week! Spent $39 saved $111. Thanks southernsavers!!

    • Snowski824

Went to yesterday and today. Spent 28 and saved 86! The cashier almost refused to take my manf. coupons for the vitamins (there were peelies on them!) but the manager told her to do it. She did refuse the Yoplait manf. one. When the Yoplait one rang up and took too much off (1.19 when I only paid 1 for it )I even told her that it range up too much. It's not like I wasn't trying to be honest. She was nice but you could tell she didn't think it was right for me to get overage.

    • Becky

Don't know if this has been listed before, but I was at Publix in Easley, SC, and they had stick-on coupons on the boxes of Betty Crocker Muffin mixes for $1/1. They are on sale for
$1.30, so with the coupon you can get them for .30 each. Sweet! Just left there and they had a lot of them with the stickies, some on the shelf and some on a display at the end of the aisle. Hope this helps someone.

    • Kelly

FYI: If your store accepts CVS as a competitor, the red coupon machine at CVS is printing a coupon for $2.00 off one bag of Dove chocolates, making them 14 Cents each! I got the dark chocolate Easter eggs today, will make a great stuffer for the baskets.

    • roseluns

Which “Family Style magazine” is the $1.00 off coupon for Bob Evans. I have spring 2010.

      • Kim

It's in the Spring 2010 issue, there is a sheet of coupons on the first page just inside the cover. I had already cut mine out a couple of weeks ago when I cut out the one for free juice or something.

      • Snowski824

There's a cardstock page of coupons that come for only the issues that come to your home. If you aren't registered you should go to the Publix site and sign up so you can get next seasons.

      • Carrie

I think the coupons only come out in the Family Style Magazines that are mailed not the copies that you can find in the turnstyle in the store.

    • Ashley

Does anyone know where to find the B1G1 Kraft cheese coupon dispenser in the Anderson E Greenville store……… or the Anderson Clemson Boulevard or Simpsonville store.

I couldn't find it at E Greenville, only the $2/2 coupon was by the cheese.

    • Ruby10

does anyone know if the AJC if available in greenville SC

    • amym850

Can anyone help me find which Publix Grape Magazine has the $1 off Philadelphia Cheese in it? I have the spring Grape Mag but no coupon :(

      • amyn

I had the winter mag, and the cheese Q expired in Jan 2010. The spring mag doesn't have the cheese Q in it, so I'm not sure what Jenny is referring to.

    • Ruth

has anyone that uses a charleston area store used the new 5 off of 20 Save A lot coupon at Publix…I'm assuming they would take it since they take everything….but it only lists the North Charleston store on the Save a Lot coupon.

    • snipper52

Publix on Trolley Road in Summerville will not accept Harvey's coupons.

    • ashley4

I know this is probably not the place for this comment, but my sister wants to start couponing. Does anyone know of a website that offers the same thing as southern savers for fayetteville, arkansas? they ONLY grocery store in their area (where she is close to) is a grocery store call HARPS. if anyone has any info that would be awesome. thanks!

      • go to becentsable.net and click on grocerystores. Then on the state and see if there is a listing for that grocery store. Just a heads up, this IS the ONLY one that is SOOOO nice!! Jenny does a great job with the shopping list option!!!!

    • 2Cor12_9

Don't know if anyone has posted: BandAids marked down to $1.99. My(awesome)Publix accepts Target who has a $1 off printable. Stack w/ $.50 off Q which doubles for free bandaids! Hello Spring's skinned knees! I'm armed!!

    • rose

ok not sure why the velvettacheese is on publix and not bilo. bilo has vel.cheese for 3.39 use .55Q which doubles, makes it 2.29, wayy cheaper there, but its not listed on the bilo tab, just a heads up for the cheese lovers..

    • Aimee

I was just at our Publix stocking up on the BOGO grits, and found a couple great things on the clearance rack. They have two flavors of Juicy Juice – Mango and Tropical marked down to 2 for $2!!! I bought 4 of those, and they also had jars of organic Italian olives. There were two varities: giant olives and manzanilla olives. They are 2 for $2.39. Also saw toothbruses 2 for 1.99 – they were the crayola motorized ones! Also some Chunky Chili ~ 2 for $2.39 I think! This was at the Hamilton Mill Publix in Dacula.

    • Julie

I'm thrilled! I went to Publix last night and got $131 worth of groceries for $58. That is my personal best savings.

    • kmoneca

The Recession game is hard to play in order to win. My daughter can make it through and get a coupon and when she shows me how, I can get a coupon, but by myself I can't. It seems that the instructions are “iffy” and unclear.

    • Anonymous

Savealot.com has a printable coupon for $2/2 Orville Reddenbacher’s 100 calorie Smart Pop Popcorn.

    • Teresa

Question about the Hellmans Mayo deal. I have two manufacturer coupons that I may only redeem at Publix for $1/1 mayo and a store coupon that also states $1/1. The MF coupon looks identical to the store coupon but states MF. Can I use all 3 of these coupons to purchase the mayo. All three coupons also states Limit one deal per coupon per customer. Does that mean I can only use 1? Thanks.

      • rydergal

Regardless of what is stated across the top (coupons issuers are getting sneaky with their wording of late), manuufacturer q's have a barcode that start with either a 5 or 9. Publix q's have a 4 digit LU number instead of a barcode. Only one MQ and one PQ per item. If all three of your q's are MQ, then you have to buy three items to use all three.

      • Carrie

I had the same coupons and asked my manager tonight if I could stack them and was told no since all the coupons had an L.U.# on them. Ask your manager, some things seem to just be at their discretion and yours might be willing to stack them.

    • Cori

Has anyone found the SORRENTO coupon? I don't even see it in the weekly coupon comparisons by newspaper?

      • Heather

I'm wondering the same thing – I can't find it anywhere.

      • crystalfawn

I just came back from shopping and found a peel off coupon for $1.00

    • Rozz

I am trying to find the list of sites that will pay for old cell phones and other electronics.
Also the list of sites that buy used books.
Thank you in advance for your help

      • Chrissy

        Hi Rozz,

Try e-cycle.com or ecyclegroup.com for the cell phone and other electronics. I’m not too sure about used books…maybe half.com? I hope that helps!

        ~ Chrissy

      • itismedia

The comments are acting weird so hopefully this will post!

Are you a member of Swagbucks? They will give you points for sending in old cell phones. You can look them up before you do to see if it is worth your time. Then you can redeem your points for GC's. There are others, if you Google them. SB is the only one I know anything about though

      • Marina115

there's a site called recyclebank and when you send them in, you get a certain amount of points. Also you get some points for signing up and then you can get different things for your points. Such as coupons, giftcards etc..

    • Donna

      I love publix! :-) I paid $30 for $160 worth of groceries.

    • Roxy

where can I find this -$1 off Cascade Detergent “P&G Future Friendly” booklet (store coupon)…would love to have this booklet?

I went to Publix yesterday and did quite well. I paid 34.02 on 112.72, which is pretty good. However, I am a little disappointed, because, while reviewing my receipt I noticed a couple of mistakes. I caught one before I left, where a coupon for a free item was credited at $1 less and CS gave me back $1. But after getting home, (one hour away), I saw that I had been charged 2.50 each for Bob Evans Side Dishes. They were both stickered BOGO and one of my 35¢ BE coupons was not scanned. This may seem like a small thing, but in total, it is 3.19. I did get back $1 of that. I love shopping at Publix whenever I am in Columbia, but this is very discouraging.

      • Call and explain. They may allow you to bring your rec't in at a later date and fix their mistakes.

        • Suemh

I did call and spoke to CS. I was told to bring my receipt the next time I came and they would fix the overcharge. I did not pursue the coupon issue, as I had no way of proving that I gave the cashier 2 of those coupons. Her drawer should have come up a little over though.

      • Kelly

Which side dishes did you purchase? Only the mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese were on a BYGO at my store, the other items were markd 2/5.00.

        • Suemh

I did not buy those. But the ones I bought were stickered at BOGO.

    • shirley

does anyone know if Publix takes the albertsons buy 1 get 2 free coupons?

      • We have Albertson's in our town and our local Publix takes them. My Mom lives in the next town and they will not.

      • Let me re do my previous comment, they do accept them IF they sell that type or cut of meat. A few that they do not honor are the seasoned chicken breast, St Louis style ribs, and the Angus ones and Petite Sirloin are a toss up. Some do and some don't. Definitely worth a try.

        • awallen

I have used the St Louis style ribs one many times at my Publix (central FL). Publix does sell a cut that says “St Louis”. I also get the pork loin. My Publix butcher said that the cuts like “Angus” and “Petite” are something that Albertson's made up so nothing comparable to Publix.

    • Dessert could cost you as little as 2.24. Strawberries are $2, Cool whip is BOGO 1.99 and Pound cake is 50% off (about 1.87). Use two advantage buy 1.75 Q's, two $1 peelies on the berries and two $1 Sara Lee Q's. Plenty of dessert for a family, plus some extra cool whip.

      • Kelly

Publix in tennessee, strawberries were 2.00, pound cake half off of 3.39 and cool whip half off of 1.69 for the small ones, total was .79 for one set. We got two!! =)

    • mag9775

Publix in Summerville, SC (Central Ave) stopped taking Family Dollar coupons. They got a new store manager. They are still taking the Rite Aid coupons though.

      • Lisa

This store is fabulous, though. Very coupon-friendly. They actually have taken most of my business away from the Trolley and Dorchester Publixes due to their great customer service.

    • Jenan

Does any one know where to find the 1.00 off a1 bud kight bowl 10? What is the bud light bowl 10?

    • Chrissy

Heads up: The AJC Hellman's coupon is $0.60 – no doubling :-( Oh well, $0.84 is still a GREAT price to pay for mayo, especially if it is originally $5!!!

      • Dianne

My coupon was for Duke's! I didn't see a Hellman's. Where was it?

        • Chrissy

          Hi Diane,

As I recall (I just clipped and threw everything away -doh!), it was past the duke's section. There was a picture of Bobby Flay and his onion potato salad. I believe it was below the Lipton's coupon, and next to some wishbone (I think?) coupons (I definitely know it was some kind of salad dressing!). Basically, it was sandwiched in the middle of the Red Plum booklet, and it was surrounded by other Unilever (parent brand) products. It was most definitely from the Saturday “Early Sunday” edition of the AJC; I purchased two of them from Publix, and both papers had the Hellman's coupon. I hope this helps!

          ~ Chrissy

          • Dianne

That is so weird! I just went through all sets of coupons-I got two different SS and one RP, from two papers, and none of them have Bobby flay or any of the coupons you mentioned! I got two papers from CVS today.

I guess I'll be stopping by Publix on the way to church in the morning! Anybody else have this issue with the AJC?

            • steph

yep, I can't find mine either and I have gone through the RP 3 times – I'm in Birmingham, AL – perhaps we have a different version…

            • Chrissy

              Hi Diane and Steph,

I just came back from Publix with a fresh newspaper (Mom wanted the deal too!) so I am looking at a fresh Red Plum. This particular insert is from one of the AJC double stacks, but I was successful with yesterday's “Saturday early edition” as well. All four papers were purchased from Publix, two in Atlantic Station (midtown Atlanta) and two at the huge Publix on Kimball Bridge Road in Alpharetta.

On the front cover of the Red Plum is a JC Penny Optical ad. Counting the front cover as “page 1” and the other side of that page with the BJ's trial membership ad as “page 2,” Bobby Flay and all of his Hellman's Glory can be found on “page 10” on the bottom. On top is a Lipton's tea coupon, to the right onto page 11 are a Knorr sauce/gravy mix q and a Lipton “recipes secrets” q. Page 8 is a Loreal hair color q, page 9 are snuggle and Uncle Ben's rice q's, page 10 is Lipton tea and Hellman's and Bobby Flay, page 11 is the Knorr and Lipton “recipes secrets”, Page 12 is the Wishbone salad dressing and “I can't believe it's not butter.” Page 13 is Caress shower gel and Lever soaps, and pages 14 through 17 are devoted to Dove products. I hope you get your coupon! It sounds strange, but I'd feel really badly if you missed out!

              ~ Chrissy

            • Dianne

Thanks for your detailed answer. I was finally able to see the ad tonight. I don't know how I missed it. The only reason I can figure is that I was going crazy getting ready to leave town for the week. Yes, I will accept your sympathy. I am now visiting my mom in a little town in MS, which has no Publix, so I have totally missed the deal. Enjoying my visit, though! :)

    • Dianne

Well, I'm bummed. I have been waiting until today to get the early Sunday paper so I could get the Hellman's mayo coupon. There was a Duke's mayo coupon, but not a Hellman's in the AJC!!! Oh, well, I can be happy with BOGO only, but I was looking forward to using the store coupon and the SS one!

      • I asked my cahsier about the Hellman's Q's, because i had the ones from Multiply Your Meals and the $1 printable ones. They said manufacturer but had a LU#. He took all of them because the printable ones SAID manufacturer. So, super cheap mayo!

        • Dianne

I had those coupons, too. Somehow I thought I had used those, but I JUST found them in a pile of stuff. It's past 10:00!!!!!! This had not been my day with Hellmans!!! :)

      • Anonymous

Go here for a Hellman’s mayonnaise coupon and game

      • Marina115

i get the AJC and mine had hellmans coupons. They were in the Red Plum insert in the first couple pages. My dukes coupon was in the Smart source. Maybe you checked the wrong one? :)

    • guest

If anyone lives in murfreesboro, tn, are there any Publix that take family dollar coupons?

    • Roseanne

Jenny, thank you so much for all of the work you put into this site! A friend of mine from church directed me to you right before Christmas and I just started trying to learn all of this stuff about 6 weeks ago. Today was a HUGE day for me at Publix…I bought $270 worth of product for $89!! I saved nearly $180!! Thank you soo much!

    • michtires519

Just as an fyi Publix in Greenville,SC on woodruff rd doesn't accept Target coupons now I guess..took them before but now won't take them.Tried using the target coupon for Kraft dressing and cashier said it was not their competitor…I wish Publix would all follow the same coupon rules..would make life simpler.

    • I did my shopping tonight, and while i missed out on the final J&J, Sure & Sundown deals, I did really good. I spent 25.58 and saved $129. 97, for a savings of 84% (could have done a better % IF I had gone before the recent adv. buy expired).
A few of the deals I got were: Betty crocker muffin mixes for .05 each, FREE chocolate cheerios, Softsoap refill (you know the fancy one) for 49 cents, and the cool whip/pound cake/strawberries (2 of each) for 2.30.

      • Carrie

Just curious, since you have FL in your name, are you from Florida? I am and can't ever save that high of a percentage. If you are from Florida then how do you do it? If you aren't then I guess you're able to have coupons doubled.

        • lynn

i am in in florida and do awasome if you would like some help let me know remeber we may not have doubles but with true bogo and two coupons and the windixie 10 off 50 coupons combined with using cvs extra care bucks to buy news papers i save mor than 50 percent and have been paid on occasion to take groceries home…

          • Carrie

Maybe it's the Winn Dixie $10 off $50 that I'm missing that would really make a difference. I haven't tried Winn Dixie yet. How often do you get those coupons? I might have to start making a trip for one or two items to see if I can get them. Otherwise, I'm seeing my typical $150 grocery bill steadily come down throughout the past 6 months to about $90 (about 50 – 60% savings) per week. I would love to get it to $50 but haven't made that yet. I don't think I could go lower because of what my family wants each week (our family's weekly must haves) that hardly ever go on sale. As for newspapers, I have to get them at Publix because they are the only ones who sell the St. Augustine paper ($1.25) whereas CVS and WAGS only sells the Jacksonville Times Union ($2). I wish our Publix would take WAGS RRs like I've heard other Publix stores will. That would certainly help if WAGS really does indeed stop allowing you to roll RRs like I've seen blogged about recently. As for your offer to help, I would love it!! Do you have a website or something? Saving seems to be harder for us Floridians.

            • I do live in south FL and have been couponing in an extreme way since October of 09. My average percentage for those first few months of 2009 was 68%. So far this year i have saved an average of 82%!!! I read and utilize all that I have learned from Jenny, and from several other blogs. I started out spending $75 a week for a family of 3 plus 2 cats. I now spend $65 and if I really made myself I could do this on even less!
I buy very little that isn't on sale. I shop at Publix, CVS, Walgreens, Winn Dixie, Walmart and albertson's. And in that order. I LOVE Publix and CVS, only shop at grouchy Wags & Winn Dixie when it is a great deal, about 2 times a month at walmart for several items that we need that are cheaper there, and very rarely at Albertson's.
As for the WD coupon, I do not EVER get one. But, I do have Albertons close by and signed up to get their ad mailed to me. It almost always has a $5/$50 Q. I also occasionally use their BOG2 meat coupons. My Pulbix only accepts true grocery competitor Q's. So, no CVS, Wags or Target and no doubling here.
I try to plan my menu out each week before I shop and utilize what I have in my stockpile or pantry and what is on sale, so that I don't have to run out at the last minute and buy things at full cost.
One of the ways that I have learned to save $ is to give up about every brand loyalty that I had. We are willing to try about anything now. If I get it for free or almost, we try it. If we like it, GREAT. If not, I either don't buy it again or plan to donate it if I do.

As for that particular day, I got the Cheerios for free because i had 1.25 printable coupons AND the $1 store printable coupon. Used 2 of each on the 4 boxes= free chocolate cheerios. My stores ( I go to about 5 different ones) also allow you to use a peelie that they peel off and a coupon. If I pull them off and hand them over with my coupon stash, they seem to view it differently, but if they pull them off for some reason it is different. Not sure why that is…

I try to read the comments on here several times each week to see what other deals other people are getting, as well as what other coupons are out there. If I can help you out any more email me at doodiebug(at) juno (dot) com Put something about southernsavers in the title so I know who it is.

            • Lucy

I think some differences in savings come from what you buy. If I go to Publix and ONLY buy sale items + use coupons + Winn Dixie 10/50 coupon, I'll save 75%-90%. But if I go and get EVERYTHING my family needs for the week, nonsale items like produce, bread, baby food, etc., then I save about 40%-50%. So if your $150 bill goes to $90, and you get everything you want, I would consider it done well. I also find it that it is easier to stock up on very cheap items, so that later you wouldn't have to buy them, and would have more money for nonsale items that you can't live without. Also, for newspapers, I'm lucky because I buy Orlando Sentinel for $1. However, I realized that if you need a lot of the same coupon, you can order them through eBay, sometimes that's cheaper than buying 5 newspapers or so.

    • SCJessica

The chinet classic plates printable coupon is not working for me. Has anyone been able to print it out?

    • frances

my publix does not carry the lay's “all natural” chips right now. bummer! madornato, i too went through the whole game only to be told that there were no coupons avail. maybe next time huh?

    • bobalvis

Thanks so much for all you do!
One suggestion if it would not take too much effort.
Can you develop an email list to those of us who wouldlike to know when you have posted the Publix weekly ad and the Publix Penny item?
      Thanks again,

      • Brooke82

Does anyone know if you can use military coupons from the commisary, they state “military coupon” but they the start with a 5??

    • Karen32174

I am so mad at my Publix. I had $28 in Walgreens Register Rewards and they decided this would be the week they no longer accept them. I asked the supervisor when this started and she said last week. That's the Publix in Ormond Towne Square in Ormond Beach, FL. Guess I will start shopping at the one by my work in Daytona.

    • Mary

I finally got it – Spent $193.36 after a savings of $152.43. I was so proud. My husband and kids help. The cashier and bag boy were impressed too! Thanks Jenny!

    • mag9775

I was just wondering how many sunday papers everybody buys?

      • Leah_in_SC

I buy 2 papers each week, then there are a few people at work who sometimes give me their inserts. One of the guys brings it every week, but it's after his wife cuts out a few things, and the other two people are hit or miss, some weeks they bring me all the inserts unclipped, sometimes it's just a few pages, sometimes not at all. It's always a pleasant treat on the random weeks when I end up with 5 full sets of inserts.

      • Carrie

I've always heard that you should buy the same number of papers as the number of people in your household. Since I live in FL where the BOGOs are truely BOGO, I buy an even number of papers – 4

      • Susan

I usually buy at least 5-6 on the first Sunday of each month since there are more inserts in the papers. Then, the other weeks of the month I buy two-three. HTH

      • I buy 2 usually, unless it is the first of the quarter or sometimes the first of the month, when there are more inserts and then I buy 4. I live in FL and we have true BOGO , so I always buy in sets of 2.

    • Amber

        • Kelly

We went yesterday, $37.50 on $181!!!!! My husband now goes with me, pushes the cart and looks stuff up in my binder for me! He loves it. He just recently started going with me, and in the last 10 days with two publix trips, two walgreens trips, and one target trip, we spent $125 and saved $609!!!!!!!!!!!! He said he thought we might save ten dollars here or there, but never knew it was possible to save this much. He begged me to never leave him. =)

          • FL_Girl

haha nice. that's so cute :) good job.

    • CATHY

    • Is there a place I can read/learn about Publix coupon policies? I haven’t used coupons before, and would like to familiarize myself before trying this.

      • Carrie

Jenny has them listed at the top of this page, right before she lists the actual deals for this week.

    • Nicole

First trip to Publix since discovering your website. I waited until today to see if there were any coupons I could use from today's papers. Spent $110, saved $104. Pretty good for a first time out! I've dabbled at CVS and Rite Aid a few times this week too and made out great! Thanks so much for all you do!

    • Michelle

The Lexington, SC store has Earth Grains Thin Buns- 8 pack for 0.50! And there is no limit on how many you can buy! There are different kinds- Whole Grain, Plain, etc. They are just inside the front door to the right.

      • Michelle

I forgot to mention that they ring up at 2.50 and the cashiers have a stack of $2 off coupons they use to make it 0.50. So if there are any Earth Grain coupons out there, they probably couldn't be used.

    • Heather

I see that on some items, you have links to Target coupons. Will Publix take coupons from other stores?

      • rebeccadragonfly

You have to check with your specific store. The store I go to doesn't take them.

    • I am just starting to get into this whole extreme couponing…I am still not sure I understand everything! HEH

    • coupon_queen

i am not sure if it is in every store, but at our publix here in tennessee, their Schick Quatro 3 ct razors are on sale, ringing up for 4.99- in the Smart Source and forgive me, but i believe it was from the Sunday before (3/21) there was a coupon in there for 4.00 off making the Schick Quatro $0.99!! Once again, not sure if everywhere, but i had to share seeing as how great of it deal it was!! (never hurts to check)

    • penny

Ok…I am new to this…how do I get the sara lee coupon, (or any of them for that matter with a limit) to let me print more than 1 coupon? it says I have reached my limit…I've tried using a different email address…but it seems to remember my computer…any suggestions? thanks so much y'all—I am having a ball!

      • Dianna

Once you reach the limit, you have to print from a different computer. It remembers your IP address and not your email address.

      • 3monkeysmom

There is typically a print limit of 2 for most coupons. Always hit the back button to print a second one. Most people utilize multiple computers to get more coupons so if you have a family member or friend who will let you use theirs ( if they don't coupon b/c if they do, you would affect their allowed # of prints ), you can print more from there. Hope that helps :-)

    • momto6in7

The Publix on E Brainerd, in Chattanooga was clearanc-ing out their Huggies Pull Ups ($4.75) and Pampers Easy Ups ($7.50), today. With the $3 off Huggies coupons, that made them $1.75 a pack!

      • thinkgreen08

        Does the $3 Q work on Pull-ups?

        • momto6in7

They took it…the coupon does say “any Huggies diapers”:-)

    • rozz

This week I found $1.50 off, on- package qs for 16 oz or larger Cheerios. The Frosted Cheerios are the only one that is 17.2. BOGO at $3.99, makes them $. 50 each.

Albertson has a in-ad q for $1.00 off ground meat with a 3 purchase of 3 cans Manwich. Found a package for $3.20 with a $2.00 q off. made it $.20 for over a pound of ground beef.

    • Shelia

Rats. The chattanooga ad has Tropicana Orange Juice for $2.50 instead of $2.00.

    • Linds

For the Starbucks Fraps, we had a B1G1 tearpad. I never buy these because of how expensive they are, but 8 bottles for 5 bucks is not bad. Also, on the strawberry shortcake deal.. someone took all of the peelies off of the containers. You know how it still says blah blah coolwhip? That is SO frustrating.

      • Brooke82

That makes me so mad when people do crap like that. Do they really need that much cool whip??????? But then again, I thought the strawberries have to be purchased to use that Q. If the cashier that checks them out sees it maybe they will say something and not let them use them.

        • Marina115

Some people take them and sell them on ebay. It's frustrating!!

      • Amber

I HATE when people go through the store and steel peelies off the products. It is very wrong of people to do so unless they intend on purchasing the item they took the peelie off of!!

    • Lucy

I didn't see it here, but Snuggle is on sale for $3.99, which makes it 99 cents after the coupon in recent Sunday paper. But I'm probably going to wait until it goes BOGO.

    • Lucy

Yesterday a very nice cashier told me that Publix coupons DO NOT expire. I honestly have a hard time believeing it, so I'll ask somebody else too. Since I got 6 packs of Birds Eye veggies and used both Publix and manf. coupons, she specifically showed me the Publix coupon $1/2, she said it says that it expires on April 2, but they will still accept it after that date. She said the registers will still take off that amount even after the coupon expired. Anybody tried using expired Publix coupons before?

      • FL_Girl

Usually the LU # gets deactivated after the expiration date. So I doubt it. Some managers will take them, but most don't.

        • Amber

Expired coupons usually work. I accidently had a MF Q and it rang. I didn't realize it was outdated until the cashier told me it was and she turned around and took the coupon back off. It depends on the store and the cashier but I wouldn't purposly push it.

          • Brooke82

Manu q's have to be checked by the cashier. They usually all work whether you buy the item or not. I know this for a fact because my husband went grocery shopping at Publix when they had the deal with the dove products. I gave him a stack of coupons and that included the dove shampoo and conditioner q's. Well, he forgot to take the q's out of the stack when he saw that they were sold out of the dove. The cashier scanned them and they worked. I was mad too because I wanted to use them on the Wag's Dove deal this week!

      • Brooke82

If a store employee is saying this, than it has been done at that store. It doesn't hurt to try it. I've seen other people on here say that they use them when they expire also.

      • Jessthere

I used the SC coupon for Hellmans mayo after the expiration date (2 days) at my Publix but the manager had to ok it as it did not scan. I had to request the coupons by mail as I could not find the book and had only received them 4 days before the expiration date. BTW I did not get coupon books, just small coupons on a sheet by mail.

      • As long as the LU# hasn't been de-activated, they will accept it. If I have one, I stop by the CS desk first and have them check it.

    • astridholliman11

They have sweet potatoes for 39 cents/pound this week, too. Yummy!

    • Lacy

What's going on with the dates on the ad? Anyone noticed that it starts over on Sunday this week in stead of Tuesday? Its almost like the same ad just continued for another few days and many of the coupons are not ound where they say they are to be found. Anyone else see this happening?

      • marty

        I think it's last weeks ad :-(

      • FL_Girl

Because of Publix being closed on Easter, they are running a 10-day ad. USually they will do another ad Mon-Tues/Weds and start the new ad on Weds/Thurs.

I can't wait to use the new FL $1 off Breyer's ice cream coupons on the BOGO going on this week! Yummy-ness!

I am loving the free Chocolate Cheerios- but my 4 yr old keeps saying “they're not very good for you.” She's right- but free is free :)

Eating “sweet” cereals is a treat in my house. Several times a week I say “make sure you pick a low sugar cereal.” Well, my 9 yr old was smart…he checked out the chocolate cheerios nutrition label and they are actually pretty low in sugar! Who would have thought? So, yes, I have let them have them this week for breakfast and they are thrilled!!!!!

Quick question – Since the new Publix ad starts on Monday 04/05, will it just be a two day ad with the new ad starting on Wednesday 04/07 or will it be another longer ad before getting back to the normal sale cycle?

      • 3monkeysmom

I was wondering about this too….

      • DD

it will be a longer ad again

I got a nice suprise at Publix today in Warner Robins, GA. The strawberries were only $1.25 and the Cool-Whip was BOGO @ $1.49! I had the Q for $1 off strawberries when you buy Cool-Whip so I only paid 25 cents for 1 lb. of strawberries.

Looked to see if anyone else had posted. At my Publix in Vestavia Hill, AL, the Sue Bee honey is not on sale. It is $2.99 for the 12 oz. bottle. So, with the $1 off coupon it is $1.99. But it more than evened out because Boca products are on sale 4/$10. If you attended Weight Watchers meetings in January and February they gave out $1 off coupons. Also, I found a printable $1 off two.

    • Alisha

You can also use the Lowes coupon for Tide ($3.25) Got a bottle for $1.74

      • FL_Girl

How do you consider Lowe's a grocery store competitor? Seriously?!? That's just wrong. Publix does enough by honoring traditional grocery store competitors, but a home improvement store?? This is why stores are getting so strict. Be considerate. Every competitor coupon is money out of Publix's pocket. They don't have to take them, but they do to help out their customers. Don't take advantage.

    • SoyLatteQT

Boca is on sale for $2.50 each (4/$10). WW gave out $1 off coupons a few months ago but if you did not get any of those you can print $1 off 2 at AllYou.com on page 15 of the coupons.

Has anyone that has a Publix that accepts CVS $/$ coupons ever tried to use a coupon that you have gotten from taking a CVS survey?

    • melissa

I can’t print this right now (on lappy), but I think this may be a coupon for the motts applesauce…if anyone has luck with this, please let the rest of us know: http://www.lunchboxbuilder.com/coupon/

      • JamiefromAugusta

This says coupon no longer available

    • Lucy

Just a though… some great promotions are expiring on April 2nd, like Scotties tissues for 99c and 50% Birds Eye Steamfresh veggies.

If you already printed the $1 off Scotties, you can go back, select YES in the question, and print out one $0.50/1 coupon. It's not as good as $1/1, but still, a pack of tissues for 49 cents is a deal. These will be 5 times that in a couple of days.

Also the Steamfresh veggies $1/2 coupon is gone from their website, but if you go to coupons com, you can print out $0.50/2, so if used with Publix $1/2 coupon, you can still score some free broccoli cuts, cut green beans, red potatoes, and white rice. :)

Jenny has done a phenomenal job in teaching us about coupon etiquette and how it is rude to clean off the shelves in the stores!!! She has also taught us that when the store accepts competitor coupons the store is taking a loss so we should consider this as “icing on the cake.” But, we should not be abusing the use of competitor coupons!! For example, I shop at the Publix in Stockbridge, GA and they are NO longer accepting the video value Rite Aid coupons because someone has been abusing them!! Someone tried to use 11 Rite Aid ($5 off 25) coupons in one day, and bought 24 boxes of Chocolate Cheerios leaving none for the rest of the customers. So, now the rest of us are suffering because of one person's greed!!

I went to Publix today first time doing something like this. They told me that they no longer accept Target coupons, that it was their corporate policy since january. :( And they were out of the special coupon books in the store. All they had was the yellow one, and a green one which didn't list any of the things that this page does. The chinet plates were 4.99, not 1.99 and they were out of keebler cheesecake cookies and chocolate cherrieos. I need to plan this a little better I think. It was hard even though my mom was shopping at the same time and was handling my 2 kids for me, I still got very stressed out. Although I did save $38 in coupons and store savings from the sales.

maybe someone posted this already-sorry if someone did!

    • ShaRee

There is a $0.50 Coupon off of Hefty EZ Foil Pans With Covers in Sunday's Paper.

    • Faith

On the lysol disinfectant, can you use a Lowe's (home improvement center) coupon from the 03/28 ss at Publix? If so, coupled with the printable coupon, this could be a money maker…

      • JumpingJupiter

No. Lowes is NOT a competitor in any way shape or fashion.

    • M egan

Does anyone know if you can use military coupons from the commisary, they state “military coupon” ???? Thanks in advance!

    • Jenny
