This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

It’s another fun week at Publix, this ad starts Monday 4/13. Please note the end date for this ad, it goes through 4/22. Publix is closed on Easter.  I have updated the ad with the full list of deals so look over it again in case you missed something!  Thanks to everyone who emailed deals.

Don’t forget the new advantage buy deals that started yesterday, 4/11.

Check out the Food Lion Printable coupons before you go shopping. Remember that you can use a competitor coupon for house brand items on Publix house brands. I will update this list on Wednesday with new Food Lion coupons and new coupons coming in 4/19 inserts.

Remember:

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon too)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are .50¢ or less

**1 & 5 do not apply to Florida stores**

      • Jenny

Sorry Aymie, I had already grabbed them and reformatted the list when you emailed. I tend to use their list every week to get started but have now learned from this week to always wait until the official ad is out to post, there are lots of errors and missing deals I get to add once I get everyone in bed for naps.

    • Jan

      Aymie, mentioned by whom?

    • MiniMidgMom

Thank you Aymie! I couldn’t find Huggies diapers at the Food Lion link. Anybody know anything about this? Also, follow the Lysol link and you will find a rebate offer for $3 back on purchase of 3 Lysol products.

    • I think the coupon for Seventh Generation in Greenwise is actually a manu q?

    • mel

my publix will not accept their advantage coupons with a manufacturer coupon , anyone else have this problem?

    • rudysx5

you’re awesome!! don’t know what i would do weekly without your site.

i’m frustrated because my publix is putting the yellow flyers behind the counter so you have to ask for them . limit of 2….ugh!

    • Jill

I was wondering if my publix would take a “food lion” coupon if there is not a food lion anywhere close to me. I live in Alabama and I have never heard of food lion. thanks…

    • sjones

I was wondering about the mueller’s pasta deal. I thought that Publix only doubled to $.50, so how does that deal work?

    • Emily

Jill – Yes, my Publix here outside Birmingham accepts the printed Food Lion coupons! Good luck! :)

    • Emily

What is the difference between the Yellow Advantage Buy Flyer and the Green Advantage Buy flyer? Are these just different issues?

    • KC

My Sunday paper (4/12/09) did not have any coupon inserts! Did I get a bad paper or was it just the week?

    • Anne

I’m having trouble with some of the inserts – it will say “SS 4/5? for example and when I look for it in my SS 4-5 insert it’s not there. That happened with several products I was looking for this week – Eggo, Eggland’s Best, and some others. I get the inserts in Alabama – are my inserts different that everyone else’s? Thanks! Sorry, I meant to post this here, but put it somewhere else first.

    • Jenn

Emily-The Green Advantage Flyer is health and beauty. The Yellow is food.

Mel- The coupons in the Advantage Flyers are manf. coupons, so an advantage coupon and a paper manf. coupon cannot stack.

      HTH

    • Anna

What ad is the in ad coupon for batteries in? Is this from the Sunday paper or the yellow or green advantage flyer? Thanks.

    • SeeLifeMarvels

Anne – The issue you’re having with coupons not being in the inserts happens with me a majority of the time too. It’s a regional difference. Here’s how I avoid the disappointment when Jenny says there is a coupon and then I can’t find it.

You can sign-up with Taylortown Coupon Preview http://www.taylortownpreview.com/index.htm to receive the full list of coupons available for the weekend inserts. Her EMail is sent out several days in advance. Before my Sunday paper arrives, I print a copy of the lists for both RP & SS, review and compare my inserts when the paper is delivered, and then decide if I want to accumulate extra inserts – friends, neighbors, Dollar Tree, etc. Knowing what has been omitted from my inserts, makes it easier to use Jenny’s site.

      Hope this helps.

    • Adele

Wow what a trip to Publix I just had. My goal was to make it in and under $10. I would have made it except I needed coffee and creamer. My savings was $54.86 ($31.03 of that in coupons) and my total was $17.74 ($7.98 of that was coffee and half and half). Yeah me! Thanks Jenny for all the great deals!

    • Emily

I’ll have to take a closer look at the Advantage Flyers later today at Publix – I always only see the same one…

      Thanks!

    • Christine

Hey All! Just another question from a newbbie: where would I find the Yellow Advantage Buy Flyer? I am in Florida and I do not see it in the front of the store. Thanks for any help!!

      • Jenny

        Christine,

The yellow advantage buy flyers are up by the ads, however a new one just came out on Saturday so your store might not have them at the front yet. Just ask customer service if they have not put them out yet.

    • Hi all,

As always, thanks Jenny and everyone who helps and shares deals!

Can someone help me with the math on the Stonyfield yogurts? Don’t know what I am missing, but it seems that if they are 60 cents a piece, and you have a coupon for fifty cents off three, final item price would be $.43 per item, not $.26… is Jenny’s total on this item combining both deals? And can you do that? For example buy four items and then use both a discount off 4 and a discount off 3 coupon?

      Thanks!

      • Jenny

        Angela,

        The .50 cent coupon will double so buy 3 yogurts at .60 cents ea = $1.80 – $1 (.50 x2) =.80 for 3 or .26 cents ea

    • Ashley

Is the pdf of the mueller’s coupon legal??

    • Teri

I am going to try using the Food Lion Butcher’s Brand (their house brand) $1 off $5 meat on Publix’s Ground Chuck $2.99 lb. If you want to do this, it expires 4/14.

    • Jenny B

I just got back from Publix and they wouldn’t take the $4 off Knox coupon because it was more than the item…Should I have asked to see a manager? I was so bummed!

    • Jennifer (palmettosweetheart)

      Jenny,

there is a $1/2 Betty Crocker Potatoes coupon in the Dinner Made Easy booklet. ;) NOt as good as the coupons from the paper, but the Post and Courier must not have had those that week. :(

    • tonya

i’m in alabama. where do i find the yellow and green advantage buy flyers? i looked on the display up front and didn’t see anything like this. otherwise had a great trip today…total savings $146.59!!!!! by looking at our pantry/freezer, my husband thinks i’ve gone nuts. but he likes the idea of saving and having a full kitchen.

    • Sharon

Fantastic trip 232.00 total and paid 93.00……… THANK YOU Jenny for all your hard work.

    • Renie

I have used the $4 off Knox coupon several times this past week and I went back to use them today at our Publix and was denied the overage. Anyone else experiencing this? The manager said I could go back and get two more $1.39 unflavored gelatins and he would honor the coupon for those but I calmly explained and showed him that the coupon was valid for the purchase of “any one Knox product” and not just the expensive ones. He never relented and I remained calm and polite, asking for a refund for all the gelatin and the return of my coupons. I let him know that I wanted to contact corporate to receive a copy of the policy and that I would be sure to let them know I was treated with courtesy. No response from corporate yet. Does anyone else have a copy of Publix’s coupon policy? A friend of mine here said she never received a response a month ago regarding coupon overages as well. Any suggestions or is this a battle I won’t win?

      • Jenny

There is no set policy on overages that I know of. Maybe we can get Paula our resident Publix manager to give us some insight. I’m working on getting a sit down Q&A with a district manager to get all of the answers spelled out for us.

    • Elizabeth

      Jenny:

Our Publix in Ooltewah, TN is now only taking (1) other store coupon regardless of the number of items we have.

Ex. Banana Nut Cherrios B1G1 @ $4.29 use the manf. q + Food Lion Coupon should make the purchase of (1) = .60 cents.

If I want to purchase more than one box, I will only be able to use that one FL coupon for both boxes. Same goes with the Gerber Baby Food, etc.

Have you gotten feedback from others that their Publix is doing this, too or are we unique. I realize stores do their own thing occasionally but just wondering about it. I’m having to refigure my math for prices on some of these items if I want to purchase multiples using “other store q’s”.

Thanks for your help! I still had a pretty good trip: Before savings: $153 After savings: $53 So I saved about 64%–better than full price!

      • Jenny

        Elizabeth,

With the Food Lion coupons most stores will only take one per item type since they say limit one print. But for coupons that are not limited in prints they are taking as many as you have. IE if you had a Food Lion coupon that you got in the store and did not say limit 1 they are taking as many as you have for as many items as you get.

You might just need to start breaking up your transactions and remember that you do have to buy 2 of the B1G1 since you live in TN.

    • Ashley

      http://pastavalue.com/ mueller’s q $1/3 use 2q for 6 boxes adds up to .36 per box! :) yay!

    • Sally

Just letting anyone know that if you shop at the Publix in New Georgia (Dallas, GA), starting Saturday (April 18th) they are NO longer accepting competitor coupons from Walgreens, CVS, Target, among others. Only Kroger, Ingles and Food Lion will be accepted. They were telling customers as they went through the lines and handing out little flyers telling everyone about it. Also, if you don’t have your penny coupon from the paper, then you don’t get the mystery item.

Just thought I’d let you New Georgia customers know up front.

    • Paula

      Jenny,
Each Publix has different policies on overages, it is up to the managers. I know at ours it is okay to have an overage, but we can’t give back cash in the end. The overage can go towards the total bill. I am not a manager, just customer service. I know even the district managers have different policies. One will say “yes” and the next says “no”.
The best thing to do is ask at your Publix.

      • Jenny

Thanks Paula! You were fast with that answer!!

    • Jilana

I know we all love to save money. However, taking a giant stack of advantage & yellow flyers isn’t fair to everyone else. I think it is a great idea for them to keep them behind the counter because the last two times I have tried to get one they are always out. Lets not be selfish and save some for everyone.

    • BobbieAnn

Gold Peak Tea bottles had a BOGO coupon tag hanging from each bottle – normally $1.49, but with 2 coupons, were both free.

Not a sale price, but the Weight Watcher candies had a coupon in the paper not too long ago BOGO – so two coupons made two products free

Also you can use the $1/3 any General Mills cereal coupons from the paper on the single serve cups of cereal that are on sale $10/10 – flavors are Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms and Honey Nut Cheerios

      This is for comment #49

Could you add this as a note at the top so those who shop in TN will remember? If it’s not to much trouble ofcourse.

      Thanks

    • Jennifer

For the two posters I saw in AL, I shop at the Publix in Alabaster and they would not accept Food Lion coupons. This was per an assistant manager. I didn’t push the issue because we don’t have them anywhere in the area and I understand they can’t “compete” if there isn’t one. She also said they don’t really consider the drugstores true competitors but they will take the Rite Aid $5 off $25 coupons if presented. I do use one of those when I have it becuase there is literally one right up the road and I have bought grocery items there numerous items (not to mention toilet paper, etc). Are either of you by chance shopping the Alabaster store or the new one off the interstate in Pelham and having a different experience? Thanks!!

    • Teresa

      Jill…

I live in Madison Alabama and both Publix will NOT take the Food Lion coupons “because they are not their competition without one being in town”. Hope this helps!

      Jenny…

Thanks for all you do! I’m constantly sharing this website with friends so they can save $ on groceries! Have a wonderful day!

    • brandy

There is a $1.00 off Purex Target coupon that was sent in the flip, clip, and save coupoon booklet that comes to your home.

    • BG

      Hey everyone,

Yesterday I went in to Publix (Atlanta area) to get the One a Day Multivitamins. The cost was actually $4.99 per box/bottle for the 60 count, not $8.99…is that just my store? Anyway, if you buy two and use both the coupons listed above, the cost totals $9.98, and the coupons total $9. So, you’re getting each box/bottle for 49 cents! Great deal in my book! Thanks, Jenny!

    • jennifer

      Hey guys,

Publix has the Eggo value pack (16) waffles on for $2! There is a coupon beside them for .75 off of a Eggo Bake Shop product which works for the waffles! Makes them $1.25, a great deal!!

    • jennifer

Also, birds eye steam fresh meals coupons work for the voila.

    • Glenda

Our local Publix had the Betty Crocker/General Mills Fruit Roll Ups, Fruit by the Foot, Fruit Gushers, etc. with a $1.00 off coupon on the box bringing them down to $1.69 each. This was not advertised. But also on the box if you purchased two participating General Mills products (Fruit by the Foot included) you received a FREE reusable Pubix shopping bag worth a $1.00. I loooove these bags. You also get those Box Tops for the school if your school particpates in that.

      • Jenny

I also just posted this in the printable coupon list this morning.

    • Brandy

Elizabeth- the Food Lion coupons are pretty specific in that they state one per customer, per purchase, per day, so that’s probably why on the flips.

    • Michaelene

Another option for the $6 off Pork wyb Kingsford Charcoal and 1 participating product (Glad, Ball Park, Hidden Valley)is this…

      Ball Park Franks
-$1/2 off any Ball Park Franks – Food Lion coupon -$1/2 any Ball Park Franks – RP 3/15 (makes it $2 off)

    • Emily

      Jennifer –
I shop at the McCalla/Bessemer AL Publix they just opened off exit 1 of 459. I’ve used the Food Lion Coupons just a few times but have never had any trouble. They just have to input on the register as a competitor coupon.

However, yesterday I went and they would not accept my 2 $1.50 off Yoplait kids yogurt that was on sale B1G1 for $2.79. The cashier said it was registering as “too many coupons”. She looked at what I had gotten and said it was because of the overage, but I’m thinking now it was just because I had more coupons than the number of items I had purchased, since I was stacking coupons on a couple of things. I was trying to buy 10 items using 11 coupons. There wasn’t a manager close by at the time and I didn’t want to push it, so I passed on the yogurt and got my coupons back. Anyone else ever had a “too many coupons” problem?

I was pretty proud of that trip anyway, though! I bought:
      Reusable Shopping Bag
      2 boxes Betty Crocker Potatoes
Box of Bayer Aspirin (Our store had a bonus 24 free caplets box!)
2 cans of Pam Cooking Spray
1 bottle of Ken’s Steak House Marinade
1 Dozen Publix Eggs (Penny Item at my location)

      All of this for $3.54!!

Thank you, Jenny, for all the effort you put into this for us!

    • Michelle

      Hi,

Is anyone else having trouble printing the Pompeian coupon? T get an “internal server error”.

      Thanks!

    • Angie

I have a question about the Knox Gelatin ? I am confused, when I bring up the coupon its showing some sort of joint medicine so why would it be by the gelatin ? I know Im missing something here. ha

    • Angie

Also another question ? I am not always great and putting deals together by myself. Can someone tell me or give me some ideas on the best way to use this deal for the least amount of money ?
$6 off Pork wyb Kingsford Charcoal and 1 participating product (Glad, Vlassic, Ball Park, Hidden Valley)
-$3 off Kingsford Charcoal printable (Food Lion)
-$3 off meat wyb Kingsford Charcoal (peelie on the charcoal bag)

      Thanks!

    • Ann

The last two times that I visited the Publix on Two Notch Road in Columbia they scratched out the price of the coupon and would only give you the price of the item….no overage! Has anyone else had this problem?

    • Mina

The $3 off charcoal Q from Food Lion expired today (the 14th).

    • Lauren

I have never had any luck getting the Fast Fixins coupons. I’ve signed up — maybe even twice. Is the only way to get a coupon to clip 10 barcodes? Also, I’ve never received a thing from them. Anyone else have this same problem? Or maybe I’m missing something….those would sure come in handy with the amount of chicken my kids eat!

    • Christa

Target had both Madagascar DVD’s (1 & 2) for $ 6.99 each on Sat. They still may be on sale. I just saw the post with getting a $ 5 rebate for buying Madagascar 2 and 2 Voila products! I have 1 voila product in my freezer now, so I just need 1 more. Whoo-Hoo!

    • Wendy

Hi, Jenny. I live in TN, and we are able to get the B1G1 price when we only buy one (referring to comment 49). Maybe some cities vary, but in the Nashville area, we can just buy 1 at half price. Thanks for all you do–I tell lots of folks about your site, and how huge a help your posts are.

    • Nikki

We are also able to get the B1G1 price when we only buy one in Ooltewah, TN.

    • lynn

Our newspaper had a $5 off $30 Publix coupon today. Hopefully, other areas have the same. Expires May 6th.

Gold Peak Tea bottles had a BOGO coupon tag hanging from each bottle – normally $1.49, but with 2 coupons, were both free.

Are these on bogo sale this week??? I did not see them in the flyer. Or did you just buy two and use two bogo coupons???

    • Diane

The chips ahoy target coupons are for Oreos?
Also the Publix in downtown Columbia no longer accepts Rite Aid coupons.I was told all the Publixs are not accepting them. :(

    • Marlena

There is also a $1/1 coupon for Pam Cooking Spray in the April issue of All You. I used 2 of them this morning.

    • Brandy

I also found a $5 off $30 Publix coupon in our newspaper today. It was in The Birmingham News. It was on a large, single, square, light colored cardstock.

    • Val

Diane, I just left Publix and I used the Target 2 for 1 coupons on 4 packs of Chips of Ahoy with no problem. The coupon states 1 off with purchase of 2 Nabisco Cookies and in small print under this it list Oreos and Chips Ahoy. Thought you would like to know this.

    • I need help with the Revlon- I can’t find the tool coupon, just one that says off any color cosmetic. This doesn’t count right? The coupon database on Hot Coupon World is showing one but it’s a home mailer from Target. So confused! Any help would be very appreciated as I am actually in need of nail clippers AND new tweezers :)

Had a great trip today- $17 for the Crystal Light, Mueller’s pasta, Betty Crocker potatoes AND a pound of sirloin tips, a whole chicken and produce. LOVE Publix.

Also: Has anyone else ever eaten the Betty Crocker sweet potato mix and HATED IT as much as I have? I disliked it so much I called and asked for a refund but I still have a whole other box bleh.

    • tonya

Went in and bought the Purina One dog food with the $3.50 off printable coupon. 2/$10 this month. Got a 4 lb. bag for $1.50 Checked at Kroger today…Purina One bags of dog food are $13.69. That’s quite a savings. My dog and my wallet thank you.

    • marianne

tried to print lean cuisine and muntigrain cherios and was not able to. lean cuisine site had me install coupon printer but still couldn’t print. cheerios link to printer, didn’t show anyplace to click to install.

    • Ashley

I use the Ooltewah, TN Publix and I do not have to purchase 2 items with the B1G1. I get purchase one item and get it for half price.

    • Lauren-
First ?, the Revlon tool coupon was in the green advantage buy packet if I am not mistaken. You can use it on the clippers. The clippers at my Publix were $1.89 I believe something to that effect. I am going to donate them to a homeless shelter because I don’t need them. Unless you want me to mail it to you?!?!
Second ?, I ABSOLUTELY hated the sweet potatoes as well. I luckily only got one box because I was a little weary about them. Weird because all of their other potatoes are yummy!

    • Is it true that there was a $5 off $30 QP in the Winn Dixie ad?? I read somewhere that someone got it in their weekly ad but I can’t seem to find it anywhere!!

    • Susie-Q

      Renie,
I emailed Corporate this morning asking for a copy of their coupon policy. They responded quickly but said they don’t have anything in writing and suggested I contact my store manager for an explanation of the store’s policy. Sounds like it is each store’s decision as to what they want to do.

      Jenn,Emily and Mel,
The coupons in the Yellow advantage buy flyer are varied….some manuf. and some store Q’s….This month has both.

    • Corysmurf

Purex Ultra Laundry Detergent 2X or Natural Elements, 100-oz, $4.99 ea
      -.35/1 Purex SS 3/08
-.50/1 Purex Natural Elements printable (makes it $3.99)

This item is not BOGO, so the $.50/1 IP makes it $4.49 ea. (not $3.99). I found this out the hard way today at the register. After the overage from the Knox Q & both Purex IPs, they turned out to be $3.19 each which is still a good deal for 100-oz. :o)

    • BobbieAnn

The peak tea is not BOGO ad – just had hanging tags with the coupon on them

    • marianne

I had difficulty printing the multigrain cheerios and the lean cuisine coupons. I am a rookie in the southern saver business. Any suggestions. See also comment #90

    • Renie

      Susie Q and others,
Corporate never emailed me back so I called them on Tuesday. They told me they would have the store manager call me to clarify the local store’s policy since I’ve had so many different coupon experience there. He called back but I missed the call so I returned it and now I”m waiting. I’m thinking about typing up a list of coupon policy questions and bringing it to him, politely of course. Just to be sure I know what to expect since I’m now paranoid to walk in with coupons!

    • Rebecca

I am wondering if anyone else tried to buy one of the Pam Sprays with one manufacture coupon and one store flyer coupon? The manager checked me out today (they looked extrememly short handed as there was only her and one other manager looking person checking people out). She didn’t let me use the flyer coupon with the manufacturer coupon from SS. Just wondered if anyone else had that problem?

    • Heather

Seriously there has to be some kind of written policy. Does anyone have one? It can’t be all loosey goosey. Its all making me a little nervous that the hammer is going to fall sometime soon at my store!

    • susan

anybody know what size boxes of cereal (raisin bran) they are?

    • Val

      Susie,

I bought the Raisin Bran and it was the 25.5 oz box. The boxes are pretty big. I think this was a good deal.

    • Johnathan

Publix in Tallahassee, Fl did not like the idea of taking coupons. They said they wouldn’t accept the Food Lion coupon for $3 off the Chicken deal. When I asked why, the cashier told me “we changed our policy. We don’t accept competitors coupons”.

I told her I read Publix policy online and she refused to budge. Sigh, I’m not a crook people!

    • susan

thanks, val. that IS a good deal.

    • Emily

FYI for those living near a Food World grocery store – Saturday they are tripling coupons up to 55 cents!

Not sure, but this might just apply to Bruno’s grocery stores, too.

    • Val

      Hi Jenny & Everyone,

I am new to your site and I just wanted to contribute something to it. I was in Publix and I found a SCJohnson coupon book worth $37.00 in savings, from about 7 of the different SCJohnson family. It is a small colorful coupon book that was near the front in the middle isle. Wanted to let everyone know to be on the look out for it, there’s even a $1.00 off coupon for the Fantastik cleaner, which is on sale for $2 ea this week. Happy Couponing Everyone!

    • Amy B.

Publix has a printablecoupon for $1 off a GE CFL Bulb 2 Pack and a Free Reusable Bag.
There is also a $1 off GE CFL printable man q.

The Reusable bags are on sale for 80¢ this week and this combines nicely with the Man Q for a free reusable bag WYB 2 Participating General Mills (peelie found on Cheerios and Fruit by the Foot).

Does anyone know how much the CFL 2 packs are?

    • Does anyone know anything about buying limits? I’m planning on getting tons of Meullers pasta, and I have lots of $1/3 coupons. The flyer says, “quantity rights reserved”, but it doesn’t say how many…anyone?

    • lynn

jackie please stop by the sevice desk and ask in advance about limits as it might be diffrent from store to srore

    • Amy B.

Hi Again! I just got back from my least favorite Publix but they had the two new booklets! $12 in coupons in Save Money, Save the Planet and $37 in an SC Johnson booklet. Also, many of the CFL bulb two packs are on Advantage Buy for $4.99, so you get two bulbs and a reusable bag for $2.99 with the coupons i mentioned in post 107. Also, I found a $1 hangtag for the Columbia Crest wine that is on sale ($10.99, save 3.50).

    • SeeLifeMarvels

FYI – Publix in Pensacola, 9Mile Road had a FREE deal today with the Kellogg’s Smart Start and DanActive Immunity.

Boxes of Smart Start Strawberry Oat Bites are part of the B1G1, or 2/$4.29. These specially marked boxes say Try FREE w/MIR that is good thru 073109. On the shelf with the cereal was a coupon for a FREE Dannon DanActive Immunity 4pk which are 2/$5. On the shelf with the DanActive Immunity was a coupon for $1/1. So, two boxes of cereal, 1 4pk yogurt drink = FREE & $1 overage. They paid me to take food today. Obviously, I couldn’t pass it up.

      I just love Publix!

    • Margie

This was my best week EVER at Publix, and I really didn’t even buy that much. Bought 5 REvlon tools, used store Adv Buy $2 off coupons, plus revlon various $1 off coupons, which they didn’t want to take at first, but it said “any revlon” (although it did say color product) so they took them just cause i inquired. I thought I had the right things. The Glaceau Vitamin water was tricky and had to be rung up separate because some coupons were BOGO and others were $1 off any one. So I got a total of 6 bottles for $2.98 (usually $1.49 each). My total grocery was $17 (before tax) and I saved $52.81 with store, manu and Adv Buy specials.
The manager I once complained to corporate about how nasty she was cause my coupon wouldn’t scan, went out of her way to be nice and assist with the water ring up. Publix, where shopping IS a pleasure.

    • Margie

By the way, this included the 2 $11.99 Pompeian EVOO BOGO, cough medicine NOT on sale, 2 cereal, 2 PAM, egglands eggs, 2 lysol bathroom cleaner. Dont you just love BOGO’s with coupons?! :)

    • KC

      Jenny,

The Publix on 6 would not accept my Target printables and they would not give me the overage on the Knox coupon and kept my coupon. It looks like they may be cracking down on their coupon policy! Do they normally accept Target coupons? Has anyone else had this problem?

    • Shon

      Johnathan (comment #103)

The Publix at Lake Ella in Tallahassee states they no longer accept Food Lion or Rite Aid coupons because they are no longer in town and therefore are not competitors. They will however accept Target, Winn-Dixie, Walgreens & CVS coupons. Occasionally you may even get them to accept an Albertson’s Q. Hope this helps.

    • the revlon
n coupon expired does publix take expired ones??????????

    • Shannon in ATL

37 bottles of Vitamin Water and only payed tax!!!!! Gotta love it!

    • Kelly

I too found the Save Money, Save the Planet coupon book at Publix today which has a vitamin water buy one get one free coupon in it…makes a pretty decent deal on vitamin water which is currently on sale Buy 2 get 1 free.

    • Angela

Help! The Vitamin water link Q link is going to Claritin.com?
We’ve really gotten hooked on the vitamin water and I wanted to print more for my trip to Publix tomorrow….
      Thanks!
      Angela

    • Angela

Nevermind about the Vitamin water… I found the Ralph’s printable coupon…. silly me!

    • Elizabeth

    • Angie

Does anyone have a copy of the vitamin Water printable ? I have looked everywhere and I thought i had saved a copy. PLEASE< i would be so greatful!!

    • Amy B.
    • Angie

Amy, thanks so much but I noticed it says only at Ralphs, Does that mean Publix wont take that coupon because thats were I will be getting them at ? What is Ralphs ?

    • MiniMidgMom

I just had a fabulous experience at my Publix. They are very supportive of couponing, many of them are into it. I always stop at the service desk and ask about new coupon situations before I shop and today I had three of them looking through a Sunday paper for me! I told them the free bag with GE products was online but they wanted to make sure. Then the manager took a used coupon from the cashier to check it and decided to let me use that one since I couldn’t print one out this morning! THey also let me use a $3/two Huggies coupon plus a $1.50 off Huggies coupon since I had two boxes of diapers and two coupons. They gave me the penny item w/out coupon so tomorrow we are using the Kroger $3 off a deli combo coupon and using the penny item to get another package of TP. My favorite deals: Viola entrees B1G1, then I had 2 $1 internet coupons so $1.50 each, Nestle Easter Egg cookies on clearance for 99 cents then an internet coupon for .75 cents off two for .62 cents a pack – last Sunday they were $2.79 a pack! They’re nice to everybody there, but I think asking at the service desk before I try a new coupon or coupon combo helps, and more than once a manager has told me to tell the cashier she approved my couponing.

    • MiniMidgMom

Me again – just had to go to Target where today only they are giving away free reusable shopping bags. There is a $2 off GE Smartbulb coupon on the bag. Go to http://www.Publix.com to get a coupon for $1 off the same lightbulb plus a free Publix reusable bag. At our store it takes the light bulb down to $1.57. Go to coupon web or other sites and there is a $1 off manufacturer’s coupon for the same light bulb. I don’t know if my Publix will accept all three coupons, but they will take the Target coupon plus their own. If they take all three then the 2 bags and light bulb are less than 75 cents. Target deal is today only and the Publix coupon is good through the 22nd so run, little savers, run!

    • Sharon

      http://sustainability.publix.com/get_into_a_green_routine/get_earth_day_coupon.php

Publix coupon for 1.00 off purchase of GE Energy Smart CFL Bulbs and FREE reusable bag. Expires on 4/22

    • Angela

Hooray! There is a $2 off Steamfresh meals for two coupon in today’s State paper in Columbia!

    • Shannon in ATL

      Angie,
My Publix accepted the Ralphs coupon…it actually is a Manuf. Coupon not a store one, but I stopped and checked with customer service before I loaded up my cart just to make sure.

    • Shon

Great trip at Publix, despite issues with the cashier. I got 10 Vitamin Waters, 2 of the CFL bulb two packs, 2 reusable Publix shopping bags and a bunch of bananas all for $1.89 including tax. The only issue was that I had to call a manager over to override the “exceeds coupon limit” message because the cashier refused to put them in even though he was a customer services associate and was able to do so. I used 5- Walgreens Easy Saver Vitamin water Qs, 10- Ralphs Qs, 2- Publix $1 off CFL & Free bag Q, 2- $1 Manf CFL Qs, 1- $4/$20 CVS Q & $3/$10 Walgreens Q (special grand opening Q for a new store that just opened here). So even with the “meanie” cashier I was still able to get a great deal. Total Savings= $28.90

    • Jennifer

Is there really a need to use a great coupon like the Knox one multiple times when there is supposed to be a one print limit? Maybe Publix is having to tighten things up due in part to abuse/misuse; there can be too much of a good thing. Just a thought…

    • Adele

Does anyone know what the price of the vitamin water is at Publix? Also, the price of the CFL bulbs (single and double packs)? Thank you!

    • Tausha

Sorry, I couldn’t read through all the posts, but Stonyfield Yogurt is on sale for $.60 each. There is a $1 off 4 coup. in the Go Organic booklet at the front of the store making them $.35 each! I’m taking advantage of the long sale and getting more before it ends.
      ENJOY!

    • Angie

Thanks so much Shannon I will do that before I load up my cart! haha

    • Adele (post 133) – The Vitamin waters are $1.49 each, buy 3 get one free (so 3 for $3). The cheapest CFL double packs are $4.99. Not sure about the single packs. Hope that helps!

    • Shannon in ATL

Had a rain check for the GE bulbs from a few weeks back and they honored it for the double pack today….used it with the Publix 1$ off with free bag and 1$ off coupon from Sundays paper….awesome deal!

    • Ricky

Publix in South Carolina is not suppossed to accept target coupons they only accept direct competitors coupons stores that have a full grocery store in them. I know i work at publix.

    • Crystal

The Post & Courier KMart ad had a $5 off $50 of groceries coupon. They took it at Publix!

    • Lynn

In reply to Jennifer in post #132 – I agree. I feel guilty about using some of the coupons because I’m afraid the store’s won’t get credit for them. Then if you use the same ones over and over going back several times….hmmmm…

I do love a good deal though. As long as it’s ethical. Of course, it’s legal, but several times?

Love this site and the money I’ve saved so far. Happy shopping!

    • Debbie

      Jenny and all,
I had a great experience at my Publix today. The cashier was wonderful and was excited with me at what I saved. Even the bagger got excited when I saved more than I spent. I love your site. Thanks for helping us save our hard earned money.
