This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

Here are your Publix deals that start today 4/22 in most areas or 4/23 in FL. This is another great week with a few FREE items and some with overage.  There are a few deals this week that havve Target printables with them.  Please ask your store if they accept these before checking out.  MANY do not take them anymore and only take grocery stores.

Don’t forget the advantage buy deals . New Green advantage buy deals will be out this coming Sunday.

**Just to remind you, I only list items that are a good price.  There are lots of things in a weekly ad that are not on sale.   Your goal is to buy items when they are their lowest price and stock up on them- my goal is to only list them at that lowest price.  **

Check out the Food Lion Printable coupons before you go shopping. Remember that you can use a competitor coupon for house brand items on Publix house brands.

Remember:

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon too)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are .50¢ or less

**1 & 5 do not apply to Florida stores**

Ah, my Wednesday morning coupon fix!! ;-)

    • The scrubbing bubbles coupons are from last October and they will not work. You will have to use one of the other coupons. No overage, but cheap at least.

    • JMR

The Trail Mix Crunch printable has reached its print limit.

    • Lisa N

Just an FYI- The Jose Ole’ is printing
1/1 NOT 1/2 which makes it a better deal- Yeaaa!!!

    • Mary

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this! Your website is such a blessing!

    • Lynn

Good Morning! I just wanted to share that I found a coupon book (this could be REALLY old news and I’m sorry if it is!) near the restrooms in my Publix last week (Saturday). It was an “Earth Day” related book and had it not said something about “money saving” on the cover I wouldn’t have looked twice. I grabbed a couple of copies and checked through them the other night. There are some VERY good coupons in there. I should have written down the specifics but didn’t think of that until it was too late. I’m going to swing by today and see if they have any more so I can post the details for everyone.

I also asked last week if they doubled coupons and I was told no by both the cashier and the manager bagging my groceries. I did let them know I was sad to hear that and would use my “smaller” coupons at Kroger because they do double (thus saving me more in the end). :(

Thanks again Jenny for such a great site!!

    • Amanda

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a target printable for the teddy grahms. $1 off 7.5 oz or larger Nabisco snack. Use 2 with above coupon and it makes them free! YEAH!

    • Tina

I think there is a target coupon $1 off 5lbs red potatoes

    • Amy

Where did you find the SC Johnson book in Publix? Haven’t seen it at the Kennerly Rd store…

    • tonya

the listerine is on sale for $4.49

can i use the $2 off manufaturers coupon and the $2 off publix advantage buy spring savings coupon.

would make it 49 cents! WOW!

    • lynn

i registered for the coupons you had at the all you btu i never got to print any cause they said youare ne registered for the list you reqested but it never gave me a list or coupons did i do something wrong

    • Christina Stewart

I just want to thank you for always having these deals up on Wednesdays. I can’t find any other site that gets them up so quickly. I sent a few senior citizens to your website so they can shop on Wed and use their discount. Thank you!!

    • Melanie

      Amy,

I saw the SC Johnson booklet yesterday at the Kennerly road store. It was directly in front you you when you walk through the doors (not in the lobby, but actually in the store).

Hope you can find it! It has lots of good stuff!

    • starbucksgirl

Jenny, thanks for posting so early. I was up looking at all of the deals last night. Looks like a great week.

BTW, the $6/1 pork coupon indicates that you have to buy the 18.5 lb charcoal (it won’t work for the 13.5 bag that is on sale this week). The 18.5 bag of charcoal went up a few weeks ago to $9.79 in my region. There is also a $3/1 peelie that is on the charcoal that expires 4/30/09 that enables you to buy $3 worth of any other kind of meat with this deal and there is a $1/1 Target Q for Archer Farm pork filets that you can also use (expires 4/25/09).

All together you can save $13 on the charcoal, pork, qualifying product and meat. I also throw in a $5/50 to save $18 on the deal.

      Have a great day!

    • Shannon in ATL

Having trouble locating the Stouffers coupon…any advice? Thanks!

    • lynn

i am really confussed this morning i dont see a printable link with jennys post for the scrubbing bubbles or shout and cant seem to find out why i cant find a link to print from all you any ggestion would be soooo wonderful thanks

      • Jenny

I took down the scrubbing bubbles and shout printables earlier this morning they were old coupons. The All You coupon you need to sign up here first and then you can get it

    • Shawn

I’m new to this and trying to figure it all out. so this may be a really stupid question. Some of the math just doesn’t add up to me. I’m sure I’m missing something!! For example, Yoplait Go-gurt yogurt starts out at $2.79. How does a $1 off and .35 cents off equal .69 cents each? Or even the next offer where it’s $1 off for 2 makes it .89cents each. I just don’t get it! Can someone help me? I just want to understand how the math is done so I make sure it’s all done correctly at the register.
      thanks!

      • Jenny

        Shawn,
With the yogurt it is $2.79 and will ring up half price at $1.39 then use the $1 off coupon to get it for .39 cents ea or the .35/1 coupon to get it for .69 cents ea.

    • Jamie

Ok diaper deal!!! My publix lets me use babies r-us coupons sooo:
      5 off 25 babies r us coupon
5 publix coupon on huggies diapers
5 off huggies box from printable babies r us coupons
(there are some other valuable coupons that will print with that one that you could throw in as fillers for the additional 5 dollars you will need to reach the 25 dollar total)
Result, very inexpensive box of diapers plus another baby or two product(s) of your choice for less than 10$. I do seperate my baby items from my groceries to make the babies r us coupon valid.
      Happy shopping

    • The All You Marie Callender Q was for members only–this was in the email they sent: “This opportunity is only open to ALL YOU Reality Checkers, so please do not forward this email or repost it on message boards. We appreciate your cooperation!”

      starbucksgirl-
The Q prints saying $6 WYP any 13.5lb or larger Kingsford… so the coupon is a match!!

    • Joy

It looks like the coupons for the Silk Soymilk from the Greenwise and Save Money, Save our Plant books are both manuf coupons. So, we can’t use both, right?

    • Julie

      An Earth Day tip –
I regularly print my printable coupons on reused paper. I have a box that I drop paper in that still has one blank side available. When I’m printing coupons, I just load my printer with this paper. It saves money on paper and trees, too! I have never had a problem with any store accepting my printables. Happy Earth Day!

    • Shawn

      FYI:
I found out the Publix on Hwy 6 in Irmo does not accept Target coupons. They only accept “traditional” grocery store coupons.

    • Shawn

I also answered my own question about the Publix yogurt. I didn’t realize the yogurt was a BOGO free offer. Makes sense now!

    • Dixie

Good idea Julie–I do that too, and I’ve never had a problem either! I recently was cleaning out some boxes and found a ton of paper with one side free! Yeah! Now if I could just get me Mac set on fast draft for coupons–but I can’t seem to get it to work!

    • Brandy

Will the $3/2 Glade coupon for The Fragrance Collection work on the glade deal above?

    • Christine

Thanks so much to everyone who takes time to post savings! I have learned so much and will never pay full price for groceries again! I am in Central Florida and was wondering about Winn Dixie? Why is it not on SouthernSavers? Is there another reputable sight like SouthernSavers for Winn Dixie? Again, thanks Jenny and all her helpers!!!

    • Joy – The Silk Coupon in the Greenwise Magazine says Man Q on the top, but if you check it out it has an LU # (no barcode) so this is actually a store coupon. You should be able to use both together!

      • Jenny

        Joy,
Amy is right, no matter what the coupon says if it has no bar code and only an LU# then you will always know that you have a manufacturer coupon. On the flip side if you find a coupon in Publix with a bar code then you have found a manufacturer coupon that can be used anywhere. Like the Nutri grain coupons that are in the current Yellow Advatange Buy Flyer. Even though they say “Redeem at Publix” you can use them any where and any store will get reimbursed.

    • Lindsay

There is a $.50/1 printable coupon for Blue Diamond nuts…great for those of us in the land of doubles!

      http://www.bluediamond.com/index.cfm?navid=8

    • Sara

Publix in Goose Creek had an in-store special B1G1 on Carolina Pride Smoked Sausage or Kielbasa. Reg. $2.99, so $1.50 on sale. Then I had a coupon from the newspaper (not sure about the date) – $1.50/2 – made them $.75 ea!

    • Kristin

Aveeno baby wash and lotions are an Advantage Buy right now for $3.80 each. Not a great deal until I used the $10 off wyb 3 from the CVS page on this site and got all 3 for a total of $1.40!

    • I was at Publix (TN) a couple of days ago and there was a blinkie for $3/2 Johnson & Johnson Products (no limits on the coupon) in the band aid section. I used it on the travel size (.79 each) band aids and it worked just fine. It also works on the small emergency kits (1.49 each).

    • There are .55/1 blinkies for the pop tarts. I shop the kennerly road publix every friday and have yet to see those booklets.. hope they are there this week!

    • Joy

Thanks Amy B.! I completely missed that, I just looked at the top. Wow, now I’m really excited about this!

    • Jenny, thanks so much for all of your hard work and the great deals. I’ve linked my meal plan for the coming week back to this post.

    • Lori

Both the Silk Milk q’s on manuf’s so you can’t use both together :(

    • Jess

      Tonya,
Where did you find the $2.00 listerene coupon?

    • Gail

      Kristen,
The 10$ off 3 aveeno products .. were for postively ageless products…were you able to use them on the aveeno baby wash?

    • Michael

Saw at the Hamilton Mill/I-85 Publix in Dacula, GA.
Alice White wine was on sale for $3.99 each and there was a mail in rebate for $18.00 for 5 bottles of wine.
So, $19.95(+ tax) minus the $18.00 MIR equals $1.95 for 5 bottles or 39 cents each.
I had a $10.00 Publix gift card from a previous deal so I paid $9.95 for 5 bottles. With the $18.00 MIR, I made $8.05. I don’t drink that much wine, but I was paid to stock up and it makes great gifts for my wine drinking family.
FYI, I have been to two other Publix stores near my house and they were not offering the $3.99 price.

    • Alisa

I am a little confused with the Walgreens RR. My publix said they would take them, but that they don’t get reimbursed for them and that Walgreens has a deal with the manufactures and they can only get money from them if they are redeemed at Walgreens. Is this true? They say manufactures coupon right on the top. Can they be used at any store?

    • Michelle

Is the Post Trail Mix crunch included in the BOGO sale? I have a ton of those $1/1 q’s and would love to use them, but didn’t see it listed in the ad!

      • Jenny

        Michelle,
Many times that Honey Bunches is on B1G1, the trail mix is included. I don’t know though, just go ready with the coupons.

    • tonya

      jess,

just got back from publix. the coupon i had was for listerine “total care”(purple). they didn’t have it, so i didn’t get to use it. the other $2 off coupon i had was from the publix (green) spring savings booklet that i found at the front of the store on that lazy susan of booklets. there are also a few more savings booklets and the sc jonhnson brands saving booklet display was also there this morning. there is a $2 off scrubbing bubbles in it and the scrubbing bubbles are bogo making it 40 cents a can! stock up.

    • Learning2CouponFL

Christine – I don’t know if I’m really supposed to mention another blog on here, but since you’re asking about a store that Southern Savers doesn’t cover, maybe it will be okay (if not, I’m sorry!). I’m from Central Florida as well, for Winn Dixie match-ups I use SwagGrabber.

If you have any Sweetbay Supermarkets in your area, I got a weekly sales flier in the mail yesterday and it had a $10 off $40 coupon on the back that’s good from 4/22-4/28. I’m hoping Publix will take it as a competitor’s coupon since it’s a traditional grocery store.

      • Jenny

Another great way to find other stores is to use the link to the Grocery Gathering on the right hand side of the page. If there is a store covered it will be listed. Some are just highlights so not a huge help but you will find others that are good too.

    • Amy

      I couldn’t find the $2 Q in RP 4/19 – but the alavert website has $1

    • lynn

i live in npr florida can any one tell me where i might look for the sc johnson book cant find it any where feel like iam on a easter egg hunt lol thanks

    • lynn

aymie i am with you on that i cant either and could really use it so if you hear about it please let me know thanks

    • Lana

      Christine,

    • lynn

jenny was just reveiwing my sunday coupons and found this deal i have not seen posted so thhought i would throw it by you……there are two coupons in sundays paper one is for a bogo for a products called wholly guacamoly the other is buy one wholly guacamoly product and get three dollars off your fav. chips if you use the bogo for the one product then use 2 3.00 off chips you would get 2 bags of wise chips for freeas they are already bog and would have a good amount of overage……….

    • lynn

as sorry for the spell mistake bog=bogo

    • Mel

I have a question. I heard that Publix will honor any other store’s price for an item, much like Walmart does. I have been traveling to three different stores this week to get their deals on various items. Will Pulbix honor the Wise B1G1 chips from Food Lion if I take the flier in?

      • Jenny

        Mel,
I have actually never had a Publix that would price match. They will honor any other grocery stores coupons but I don’t know that they will honor their sale prices. If your store lets you please share!

    • Jennifer

      Hi,

I’m new to this site and LOVE all the GREAT info. Do your matchup prices include South Carolina? And if so what is SC Publix policy – double up to? I’m helping a friend with couponing and would love to know how Georgia and South Carolina work.

Thanks so much for your help!

      • Jenny

        Jennifer,

These are deals for the entire Publix region. I live in SC so all the coupon policies at the top and the link at the top are for our area and GA. You will find Publix price differences of 10 cents or so between two stores in the same city so there is not way to have a list that would match exactly for your store but you should find all the same deals and similar prices within 10-15 cents.

    • Kelly

I just printed 4 coupons from the Jose’ Ole’ Taquitos or Tacos printable. Typically, the print limit is 2. I didn’t need more than 4, but you may want to try for more! :) Happy Shopping and thanks again Jenny for all of your hard work!!!

    • Tara

Hi! I live in Lexington, SC, and see where there is supposed to be a 2.00 off of Alavert in the RP 04/19, but it is not in mine. Does anyone know if there are anymore coupons for Alavert in any of the other previous inserts for the Lexington, SC area. Thanks for any help!

    • Tara

Oh, also, I want to stack a store coupon with a manufacture. How many can I do in a transaction.

    • Barbara

Would someone please explain the Publix Advantage buy deals. I am new to using this website. So are these specials that don’t come out weekly and if so when do they come out and where are they found.

    • I bought those Scrubbing Bubbles action scrubbers at cvs a few weeks ago and each had a huge strip of q’s- one was for $1/1 Scrubbing Bubbles :)

    • Angela

Had my first “negative” Publix experience tonight. Went to the Trenholm Plaza Publix to pick up more coupon booklets with the Soy Silk Q’s and thought I’d get another Kotex deal while there. The register beeped and would not take the store Q after 4 mfg Q’s. I had 4 items, store Q was for Bogo, then 75 cents off MFG Q’s. I’ve used these together 3-4 times now!
Oh well, I asked her to take off 2 MFG q’s and use the store q’s. It was still a good deal, just not the GREAT deal I’d been getting – $1.25 for 2 boxes of Kotex.
Also – the Gervais Place store is out of “Save Money, Save the Earth” coupon booklets with the BOGO Vitamin Water q’s and Soy Silk $1 off.
However, the Trenholm Plaza store had just restocked their display tonight!

    • Corysmurf

Suave Naturals Shampoo or Conditioner, 22.5 oz, .99¢ ea
-$1/2 Suave professionals printable (Food Lion)
-$1/2 off any Suave Hair Care RP 3/01, 3/29 (buy 2, use both makes both FREE)

Is “Suave Naturals” the same as “Suave Professionals”? Is this ymmv?

      Thanks!

    • Teri

Jenny, Did you mean to say in the following quote that the LU# q IS a manufacturer’s q or IS NOT? I thought you had previously said LU’s were just Publix q’s: “no matter what the coupon says if it has no bar code and only an LU# then you will always know that you have a manufacturer coupon.” Thanks!

      • Jenny

Sorry an LU# is NOT a manufacturers coupon. I’m bad at leaving out words when I get typing fast.

    • Stephanie

Amy, I do not use Alavert and I have a couple of coupons I would like to share with you. Just email me you address at usdavs_ssmith at yahoo.com

    • Teri

I AM SO MAD – at myself, though. My point in saying this is that I need to watch and NOT TALK while my purchases are rung up and coupons deducted because tonight, once again, a coupon was skipped. I make mistakes too (many!) so I’m not mad at the cashier. Just thought others might want to be reminded that if you want ALL your coupons to count (and I know you do) – PAY ATTENTION. One method that has helped me in the past is to know how many q’s I have and count as the cashier deducts each. If anyone has another suggestion, I’d love to know.

    • tonya

      MISERY LOVES COMPANY TERI!

i had the most awesome trip planned out at publix this morning. when i got home i realized i payed “FULL” price for the pillsbury crescent rolls and cinnamon rolls i thought were on sale. when i went to check the ad, it said 12.4 to 31.8oz. “bag”. i thought the sale was for the canned biscuits and rolls. i did have coupons i used but did not get the dream deal i hoped for. also i thought i grabbed the yellow onions on sale for $1.99 and when i got home the receipt said $2.99 sweet onions! i was so mad. i swear they were in the wrong place. lesson learned…PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • rebecca

Just FYI… I always zip in to Winn Dixie before my weekly trip to Publix and buy something on sale or a gallon of milk or something like that. They typically have at least ONE thing I would buy on sale or such… but I do it for the catalina! I ran in there a couple weeks ago with 2 q’s for 75¢ off NoYolks when they were regularly $1.29/bag but bogo that week. So the cashier rang them up $1.29 + tax = $1.33 -.75 -.75 = uhhhhhh, I can’t give you CHANGE for buying these, LMAO, so I grabbed a bogo candy bar (Almond Joy 59¢ for 2!), paid my 44¢, and the catalina printed me $10 off my next shopping order of $75 or more. The next day, I went to Publix to get all my other groceries, and used that on my total! LOLOLOLOL Today I bought the Nilla wafers (bogo, + I had 2 cpns), bananas (also had a q for free bananas wyb nilla wafers), and 2 gallons of milk (2/$5) and got my $10 catalina. And I’ll give you one guess where I’m shopping tomorrow!

    • Bonnie

      For Post #64:

      Hi Jennifer,
I am in GA and as Jenny mentioned, the prices may be a little different, but I have found everything else to be consistent. The Publix I go to doubles coupons for up to .50. If they are over .50, you just get face value.

      Happy Couponing!

      *Jenny, you are the best!*

    • Has anyone had a problem with Internet Coupons and Competitor’s Coupons. Our local Publix will only take $5 worth or competitor or internet coupons now. There’s no limit to the regular coupons or Publix coupons. Any input would be appreciated.

    • Shannon in ATL

      Tonya & Teri,
A couple of times Publix has missed BIG coupons…$6 Kingsford deal and 4$ Pace….I went back the next day with the receipt and they returned my money.

    • Lana

My Publix in Duncan SC will only allow you to buy one Alavert at a time and it is recorded in the Meth Log Book-name, address, DL #, etc. I am leery of trying to do too many of those transactions too close together. I wonder what it takes to get flagged by the pharmacy?????

    • Emily

Anglea – I saw where you posted about the great Kotex deal at Publix Advantage deal this month when you combine with coupons. I have also used that deal twice with coupons now, and got another set of coupons to use on my trip this week!

If you or anyone has a teenage daughter, check out the beinggirl.com website and sign up for free samples! The samples they send are great, along with multiple coupons, including one for a FREE box of Always Infinity. I used this at Publix this past week to get a $5.29 box for free.

I’ve had the same problem at Publix too where they won’t take more coupons than items, but it seems to be with the total amount of items you’re buying. For instance, you could have probably grabbed a pack of gum or something to add in with your purchases to give you a bigger number of items and then been able to use all your coupons. I’m interested to know if anyone else has had this problem!

    • Hi Angela and Emily! You are right, the registers are programmed to beep if the number of coupons exceeds the number of items. Managers should be able to override this, but if you’d rather it not happen, throw in a few items you don’t have coupons for and you will be set!

    • lynn

i just tried the web site beinggirk.com make sure you dont put in your own birth dat but put in the birthdate of your teenage daughter this is only good for teen agers if you put in your info you will get a message that says you are not eligable for this sample …..

    • Shannon in ATL

Can someone please breakdown the Kotex deal for me, unable to find the details…would love to take advantage…thanks!

    • Christine

I am in Orange County in Central FL and I found the SCJohnson book at the Lee Road and Chickasaw Publix. Good Luck!

Thanks for all the help about Winn Dixie, they are just not as good as Publix with the deals!

    • lynn

christine in what secetion did you find it in still looking here in npr fl.

    • joei

found this for the cranberry juice, don’t know if it’s any good

      http://www.oceanspray.ca/english/health/pac.aspx

      • Jenny

        Joei,
The ocean spray coupon is a Canadian coupon and most stores will probably not get reimbursed for it. Ask your store manager before using it if you will.

    • Amy

The Alavert deal I got.. the Kennerly Rd store price was $9.99 for 18 which box states 50% extra … so I used my $1 off plus the store Q for $4.99 not a GREAT deal .. but better than Claritin. Plus the extra 6 for the same price of 12 made me happy :) THANKS JENNY!

    • It wasn’t listed in my weekly ad from Publix, but they have their Mama Mary’s pizza crusts BOGO right now. And there was a smart source? coupon a few weeks back for $1 off. Good time to buy a quick dinner solution.

    • Is anyone in the McDonough/Stockbridge GA Area? I have been trying to locate the SC Johnson book as well as the Organic savings book. Anyone in the area that can help?

    • Kristin

      Gail,
Yes, my Publix accepted the Aveeno $10 wyb 3 although it stated “Positively Ageless” products. I also used it to buy regular Aveeno moisturizer from CVS and they accepted it with no problem as well. Great time to stock up!

    • Migs

I’m a little confused about the newspaper coupons… are these from the sunday paper? Sorry to sound so behind, I’m just trying to figure out whether or not the paper is a good investment since I get my news from the internet. Thanks!!

    • Jennifer

Ok another question for SC :) I love this site btw… I’m working on some deals for a friend that lives in Goose Creek, SC – are you able to use 2 coupons per item? I’m trying to figure out how you have the deals listed say:

Ocean Spray 100% Cranberry Juice, 64 oz, at $3.99
-.55/1 Ocean Spray Pomegranate Juice RP 4/19 (makes it $1.44 ea)

How does it make it $1.44 each if the coupon is for .55 off? even if using 2 coupons how does this work out? Please help me understand! :)
They are $3.99 per bottle right?

Thanks so much for helping me help my friend out!

    • Jennifer

I forgot to ask one more thing – has anyone printed the blue diamond IP? Did yours have a bar code on it – mine didn’t and I wasn’t sure if it would be accepted at the store?

Thanks again – Jenny I LUV THIS SITE!

    • Shannon in ATL

      Bethany,
I am in McDonough and usually go to the Publix at Shops at West Ridge on Hwy 20. They do have the Organic book at the front of the store, not sure about the SC Johnson book, haven’t seen that one yet.

    • Shannon in ATL

      Bethany,
If you can’t find one let me know and I would be happy to put one in the mail for you.

      okellyatl@yahoo.com

    • Jennifer

I was at the Eagles Landing in Stockbridge today for my weekly coupon shop and when I tried to do the Nabisco $1 off from Target they said they no longer took Target coupons because they did not consider them a competitor, when I responded that they were a Super Target which means grocery, he said that they were > 5 miles away, they are actually 4.5 miles away. He said the only competitor to HIS store was Walmart. I have never seen a Walmart coupon. Bummer Publix.

    • michelle

hey jennifer… the ocean spray works like this. :o)

      BOGO @ 3.99

      3.99 – .55 -.55 = 2.89 (divide by 2)= 1.44 each. does that make sense? you can use 2 coupons because you’re getting 2 juices.

      hope this helps.

    • lynn

jennifer some publix double the coupons so the 55 cent coupon would become a 1.10 coupon check to see first if your publix will double here in my side of florida they dont but as i have learned some of you out there are doing realy realy great thanks to doubling good luck

    • lynn

as for te person who posted about the ocean spray i printed some of those and they appear to be boggess as verry simple words are spelled wrong on it the word expire is spelled expiry i asked around and was told they were no good would not try to use it if i were you gl

    • lynn

could you further explain the aveeno coupon like where to find it and how much out of pocket did you spend thanks

    • lynn

migs yes the sunday paper is a wonderful resouce for coupons as jen has been teaching us and you will learn as you get your stck pile up dont throw any coupons away…… sorry so many post ………

    • The Ocean Spray coupon is not bogus, it is just that its a Canadian coupon (note the .ca web address). The barcode will not scan in the US system. There is reimbursement information on it, but most stores here are unlikely to take it.

    • Emily

Shannon – For the Kotex deal you need to have the coupon out of the Advantage Deal flyer for April – it has the LU# the cashier needs for the deal, but they might be able to enter that without the physical coupon, I’m not sure.
The deal is to buy a package of pads for around $3.50 and get another Kotex product for free. I’ve gotten the package of pads, and then a box of tampons for free (also worth about $3.50). If you also use a $1.00 coupon for pads and $0.75 coupon for tampons (both have been in recent circulars), you will get both products for about $1.50. Can’t beat that so I have been stocking up. Even if you don’t have the coupons it’s still a pretty good deal, I think. We need them at my house!

    • Jen

The Mama Mary’s coupon is in the 3/22 SS. Has anyone else found these on sale? I’d love to find them at my store.

    • lynn

is the advantage buy flyer the yellow one?

    • Angela

Lynn – The Yellow Advantage Deal Flyer has the Kotex store coupon. There are links to Kotex printables, or newspapers in the last 30 days.
I have a shelf in my closet…. Kotex!

    • lynn

lol need to get in on that deal thanks

    • Andrea

Friendly FYI…The AJC in the metro Atlanta area had a coupon for the new Aldi store opening…$5 off any $30 purchase. Used it today at Publix!

Love this site…Thanks for all you do!

    • Ashley

Jenny, thanks for all you do! I have saved so much money over the weeks I have used your website! I can’t thank you enough! I couldn’t do it without you! All my friends are amazed at how much I am saving…I always point them to your site for guidance!!! THANK YOU!!!

    • Tammy

Knox Gelatin $1.39 ea (near Jello)
-$4 off any Knox product printable
was posted for last week… also found coupon in RP 3/15 exp 4/29 so hurry!

    • Angela

      Hi Andrea –

Which day/issue of the AJC was that coupon in? Was it on the Aldi flyer?

      Tks!

    • Hi, I was just introduced to your site this week. I have no idea what I am doing. Where are you getting all these coupons from? I never knew this world was out there. Someone please help direct me to where all the coupons are.!?

      • Jenny

        Amanda,

Most of your coupons come from the Sunday paper. The SS 4/05 means that it was in the smart source insert on April 5th. So get a weekly paper and grab the inserts each week. This coming weeks are posted under Upcoming inserts.

    • Oh Yeah! I am from Charleston, SC, and have a bi-lo, foodlion, and piggly wiggly around. Do ya’ll go to super-walmart. I really don’t like super walmart, I like supporting my local businesses.

    • Maehing O

Going out to Publix to do my weekly trip… I’m ready! Haappy couponing to you ALL!

    • Shannon in ATL

      Angela,
Aldi coupon was on Aldi flyer in Thursdays paper.

    • Diane

As an FYI most cashiers at Publix are really looking at the coupons and if there is an overage they won’t give it to you even if you have other items. I have had this happen to me several times at both the Irmo location and downtown Columbia. Both are still taking Target and Food Lion coupons but not the Rite Aid ones. I also have not seen the SC Johnson coupon books.

    • Angela

Thanks Shannon & Andrea – I totally missed that one! Going to go dig it out of the trash ASAP! :)))

    • Tina

First, Jenny, thanks so much for the helpful posting. It is really a ministry.

I wish to reprot that I am really pleased with my shopping at Publix last night. I have not gone to a publix for more than 3 weeks. I am tired of the hassles. But my husband took me to another publix last night and I have a steal. I got through the check out so smoothly that I could not believe it. I paid $1.37 ooop, a saving of $58.97. Best of all, that included a ham which I am going to submit for rebate.! Now I can be an encourager instead of wahwah… all the time.

      God bless

    • Maehing O

Just having time to post my trip to Publix and I want to comment on the following:
Today is the last day for the kotex deal, so make sure to use manufactures coupons all all the items, and if your Publix is like mine, the only pads eligable for the deal run 6.99, but its a large one. I got 3 of the deals, used manufactures coupons on all, and a 5 off 25 from rite aid, and was out the door for 11.72, saving 20.02.

I also found a 2.00 off produce coupon on a bread display by the lettuce when you buy a Whole Grain Earthgrain Bread, which is on sale for 2.50 this week. So bread and 8 ears of corn was 2.50!

I was out the door for 59.64, but saved 143.15, a 71% savings, but admit that did not use the 5 off 25 from Rite Aid. When I went back to get the Kotex deal, I ran into 2 other SoutherSavers, and asked if Publix honored that coupon. She said, well of course they do! Whoo Hoo! Now I feel like I could have done better because I haven’t been using that one….. I will till it expires! I can’t wait to see what the penny item is, and the new flyer on Sunday!

      Happy couponing to you all!

    • Jenny from FL

      maehing O,
I know you were interested in the beer rebate last week but couldn’t find the form. FYI On the beer display this week there is another rebate from Anheuser Busch for bud poducts in their Keep America Beautiful campaign. It is for $5 rebate on 12 pK,$7 on 18 pk, or $8 on 24 pk of cans only. There is no other purchase necessary. it expires 5-3…must be received by 5-18. I picked up a few extra. Will mail you one if you want.

    • Meg

Just wondering….will they really accept the trail mix crunch coupon for the honey bunches of oats purchase?

      • Jenny

        Meg,
Most stores have the trail mix on sale too. That is why I have it listed there :)

    • Maehing O

Thanks Jenny O From FLorida! Is that at Bi-Lo, Publix, CVS,.,,where? I went to Bi-Lo yesterday and found a $15 rebate from Michelob when you buy 4 of their specialty packs. It was around the neck of a bottle in a 6 pack! It’s Michelob Craft a case Rebate, and expires 4-30-09, must be recieved by 5-14-09. My hubby went to Publix last weekend and bought 2 of the 4, so I’m getting the other 2 beofre hte 30th!

Don’t you just love this site! Happy couponing girl…. you rock!

    • Maehing O

If Amanda from Charleston reads this, email me and I will talk you through this all! I’m in Summerville! honda_chic@yahoo.com.

    • Jenny from FL

      Maehing O
I found it at Publix. I’m in Brevard County Fl….Merritt Island.

    • Maehing O

For Jenny from Florida…………I’d love for you to mail me one! send me an email, and I will give you my address. I wish I could return the fav. on the Michelob, but it was only one, and I found it at Bi-Lo! Thanks honda_chic@yahoo.com!

    • Hazel

Jenny… I want to thank you for this site.

I am in FL. My Publix does not double coupons but, I did find out a few weeks ago that my publix will honor Taget coupons even though we do not have one within 50 miles from here.

I had a very nice cashier today. I saved 119.00 and I spent 98.00. My cashier was even showing the man behind me my savings. It was funny and I was so excited.

So, again thank you so much Jenny and all the other ladies on this site that shares all of their good bargains.

btw, I have shared your site with several friends.

    • Brandy

Just wanted to let you know to be on the look out for a Publix home mailer that has a $5 off $30 coupon in it. I got one today in the mail and can’t wait to use it.

    • MiniMidgMom

I am still looking for that Publix mailer, a few people have mentioned it.

So, let me get this straight. If you have a buy something get something else free coupon, you can still use a coupon for the thing you are getting for free? Like my husband went shopping for me and took a coupon for buy two clorox products get wipes free. He did not use the coupon so I’m going back tomorrow to get the free wipes. Should I take my $1 off coupon with me as well?

Also, if FL is a competitor for your Publix print out the deli combo coupon, it is good until Dec. And if you play their matching game online you get a coupon for $2 off $10 of beef and $1 off a storebrand household product.

    • Joy

      MiniMidgMom,

I don’t think so, but maybe someone else can chime in. I think it is basically, one manuf. coupon per item. So if you have something for free, you can’t use another $ off coupon. That coupon really was for the free item and not the two you had to buy to get it.

Now, say you coupon was Buy 2 Chips, get cheese FREE. You can’t use another coupon on the cheese, but you can use 2 $1 off coupons on the chips. That’s how I think it is anyway and that’s what I stick to.

    • Joy

Oh No! I didn’t realize the Ocean Spray coupon was a Canadian coupon! No wonder it didn’t scan at my Publix. I used 6 of them a couple weeks ago when the craisins were BOGO. I saw the link for the coupon in some comments and got excited but didn’t think that that was probably why you didn’t include it in your posts!

I guess I’ll go into my Publix and explain what happened and offer to pay the $6 back. I love my Publix so much and would hate for them to not get reimbursed for it. :-(

Jenny, Question: When someone puts a comment for a coupon that you haven’t listed and it is legitimate, do you go back and include it in your original post? This way I know to only go by your post and if something is in a comment, it might not be good to go with it.

I try to be so careful about couponing and follow the rules which is why I appreciate your site so much!

      • Jenny

        Joy,
I do try to include legitimate coupons and deals. Sometimes there are so many comments that I just miss some. I will not add it to the list if it is recommending using a iffy coupon like the ocean spray or using a coupon for a different size than the words on the coupon, like Pantene using the 25oz coupon for a 12 oz product.

    • Deb

If you use the target coupon for the macaroni @bi-lo it will come out a whole lot cheaper. Publix has coupons for scrubbing bubbles buy 2 and get 2.00 off (there on sale bogo).

    • Joy

Thanks Jenny! I appreciate all that you do. I’m going to try and be even more careful, I really hate that I did that. I’m sure the person who posted it might not have known either. Sometimes when these start getting around it’s hard to tell. Like the pace coupon…I used mine before I came back here to find out that they were really for winners.

Thanks again! I love this site and recommend it to all my friends who are interested in couponing.

    • Diane

I was told at the downtown Columbia Publix that Publix will no longer honor the Target Webcoupons. I was told by the manager that it is suppose to be that way at all of the Publixs.

    • Roxanne

I am having trouble printing the Jose Ole coupons. I keep getting a message that says “Unable to print coupons, Your default printer is not supported”. I have tried doing it through IE and firefox. Anyone have any suggestions?

    • Roxanne,
Sometimes you’ll get that message if the coupon is dead, but I just printed one. It took a while to print, but its still working. Have you been able to print coupons before?

Try this: go to control panel, printer, right click on the printer, choose properties, advanced, choose “print directly to printer” option, apply.Do this whenever you need to print those coupons, but change it back when you are done each time.

Let me know if that helps.

    • Amy

Anybody know the penny item yet? I wont make it to my store until tomorrow!

    • Quen

The penny item is a 6 pack of Publix spring water ( with the regular tops, not sports bottle ).

    • Ruth

I asked at my Publix in Cobb County, GA (Highlands Park)this morning if the Post TrailMix cereal was BOGO and they said No. (They said it very nicely of course). YMMV, it seems.

    • Roxanne

      Amy B.
Thanks for your help!! It still wont work though. I have always been able to print coupons off the internet. This might be the first one though powered by smartsource though. It is just weird I have tried everything.

Thank you again though for you help!!

    • lynn

yeah publix in npr florida now has the sc johnson book they just put the display out today ….. and it is stocked full rather big display

    • Amy

The Publix on Forest Dr. in Columbia wouldn’t let me use Target coupons either.

    • lynn

does any one know when the new green advantage deals start or if they are out yet …. thanks

    • Lynn they come out on 5/5 and they look pretty good!

    • Just FYI……Pubix DOES accept all competitor coupons and they do double coupons at each and every store. It is company policy

    • Angela W

The penny item in Columbia (Trenholm plaza) is kelloGs raisin bran or raisin bran crunch

    • Shannon in ATL

My baby is 11 so I have no use for the diaper coupons that I receive….would be more than happy to mail them out to someone if you are interested…okellyatl@yahoo.com

    • Jennifer

Is there ever a sneak peek for Florida Publix ads? Inquiring minds would love to know :)

      THANKS

This Publix ad is for all areas and you get a day jump since your stores start on Thursday. Your prices might vary as all stores in the same city vary but the deals are the same.

      ANYONE,

i have more coupons for the GO-GURT that is bogo until tuesday. i have already purchased 4 boxes and don’t want them to go bad before my kids eat them. HAS ANYONE EVER FROZEN THEM?

      appreciate your time.

    • Linda

      Amanda and Maehing,
I am also in the Summerville area and am making out big time thanks to this site! I have been using the site for two weeks religiously and have saved over 70% at Publix, CVS, and I just tackled Walgreens today! It is so exciting. I am starting to stock up and have spent a fraction of what we used to. I’d be happy to share any info I can to help, as well as extra coupons I’m not going to use.
Feel free to email me at lglines44@hotmail.com. Maybe we can start swapping coupons?!!
Jenny, you are truly a gift to us! Thank you for all you do to help others!

    • Becca

      Tonya,
I have frozen them and the Kids LOVE them as a Popsicle! YUMMY!

    • Sylvie

      Tonya,

My son loves them frozen! They make a great spring/summer treat. My freezer is now FULL of go-gurt!

I’m not sure if someone else mentioned this already, but there is a $1 off Fresh Express Manufacturer’s coupon in a special Kroger Flier in the Atlanta paper. Add that to the $1 off Yellow Advantage Buy Coupon and it makes Fresh Express salad 50 cents a bag this week!

    • Tony

Alot of the 8ct Pop-tart boxes are advertising a FREE movie pass ($12.00 value) when you mail in 5 vouchers (1 voucher per box). The small print says its good for ‘any other movie of your choice’ not jus the new Star Trek movie coming out soon.

So that’s less than $4 per movie ticket.

Hope the kids like strawberry Pop-tarts!

    • Maehing O

Thanks Jenny from Florida! Hope you had a great day shopping!
      Maehing

Publix in Columbia took the Post Trail Mix Crunch Q’s for Just Bunches.
There were $2 off Contessa Meal blinkies in the freezer section, those are on sale at Kroger, I think.
And, the SC Johnson cleaning supplies coupon books were at the registers!
      HTH

    • Follow up on the Mama Mary’s pizzas. At the Publix on 290/Main St in Duncan, the small pizzas in either 9 oz or 12 oz pkgs are bogo. There are 3 to a pack, individual size, regular or thin and crispy. They ring up at $1.85, so use your $1 off SS coupon and they are .85!

    • Sharon

ROFL as I re read this if anyone is wanting to know what the BOGOF is I was suppose to type B1G1F. Sorry

    • Emily

Can anyone tell what price they aim for when buying and stocking up on toilet paper? It’s just one of those things I can never really judge if I’m getting the best deal on…

      Thanks! :)

    • Teri

Does anyone know the official Publix raincheck policy, specifically, how long does a raincheck last?

    • Teri

Emily, Coming from a family where couponing is an absolute necessity, I thought I’d like answer your toilet papaer question and how I tackled it. I got tp at CVS when they were having the $3 off an item so I stocked up then. I also was able to get a bunch when I went to a Bloom’s triple coupon sale once. Now to really embarrress myself, I have bought Kleenex tissue when on sale at the various stores and I, personally, use a tissue instead of tp since I was able to get a lot of it cheaply. The rest of the family uses tp. You can also use your CVS ecb’s and Walgreen’s RR’s and buy free tp. When you transfer a prescription and get a gift card, that is a good time to stock up on those things that are hard to find on sale with a good coupon. Lastly, you can always buy store brand or buy at Dollar Tree for a buck or Dollar General.

    • MiniMidgMom

Our Publix runs ads from saturday to sat, and doesn’t mail in their coupons for reimbursement until the next week. So they will accept expired manufacturer’s coupons as long as they have not been expired for more than 1 week.

Watch out for the $1/2 mac n cheese Target coupon.DH took my list shopping last Friday and brought home two single serve bowls instead of 2 boxes of 6 packets. He paid 50 cents each, I went back and got the the 2 boxes that are BOGO for $1.20 each. There is no package size on the coupon. We use the cheaper mac and cheese normally, but it’s nice to have a quick convenience hot food on hand for the kids so this is the only way I would buy this product.

Met my first less than coupon happy cashier. He scrutinized every coupon with a frown, started to call the manager twice then changed his mind, and never even spoke to me! He’s rare there, but I can see how bad it makes you feel. I had to tell myself that I was not doing anything wrong, he just did a poor job hiding his uncertainty. I got $21.78 of groceries for $4.98. 77% off and he didn’t like that very much.

    • Margrett

Target has already changed over their coupons. Can I find the Easy Mac coupons anywhere else? Thank you. Will the Kraft Mac n Cheese coupons on your site work on the Easy Mac?

    • Ashley

Pasta Roni and Rice Roni are BOGO for $1.29 in Columbia. Makes each about $.31 with the $1/3 Q. Still a pretty good deal.

    • lynn

    • Christine

Are there any Orange County (FL) ladies that are interested in a coupon swap? I just started couponing and thanks to this awesome site, I am hooked!! Anyone looking to swap couponscan email me at bemartie@hotmail.com

    • Michelle

Have any of you received the $10 Publix gift card from the Pillsbury/General Mills promotion in February? I haven’t received mine yet, and I’m sure that I mailed the information over 8 weeks ago. Any ideas?

      Thanks!

    • Rebecca in Snellville, GA

Just thought I would post this last minute store special at Publix on Highway 124 in Centerville, GA. I took my Lysol toilet bowl cleaners in with me to see how much they were because my coupons are expiring soon and to my pleasant surprise, they were on sale for an in store special 2/$4. Windex is also 2/$4. My Lysol toilet bowl cleaner coupons I printed off a while back for the lysol rebate were $1/1, so I got three of them at $1 each. Our new week starts tomorrow for the next weeks sales. I’m not sure if all the Publix have this in store special or not.

      • Jenny

Rebecca it was chain wide. I didn’t list it, because if you wait for B1G1 prices they will be .39-.49 cents ea. But if you need it, it is a good price now! Thanks.
