Still haven't received my $10 Publix GC when I last bought diapers and sent in for the rebate. Has anyone had any luck with this one. I believe I bought 2 large boxes of Huggies. Is the rebate after coupons?

      • Krista_A

I was wondering the same thing. I also bought 2 Huggies boxes to submit. Wish I knew the status, seems like it's been long enough!

      • I was going to ask Jenny if she knew of a link to check up on these! I bought 2 diapers & wipes also!

      • Shannon

I havent received mine from the last time they had this offer….anyone know how to find ot why?

      • Jennifer

I just looked over my notes that I jot down when I send off a rebate and it said to allow 8-10 from 2/19/10 which isn’t quite yet. It said you could email promotions@streetmarc.com with “w/KC/Unilever Gift Card Offer” in the subject line to check the status of your gift card. I agree though, I was hesitant to do another one until I knew if I was going to get the last one. I think the last one was for the first 5,000 submissions if I remember correctly, and this one is only for the first 2,000. I just emailed them, so I haven’t heard back yet, but hopefully I will soon. Hope this helps!

      • Jennifer

I got an email saying mine was approved and would be mailed 8-10 weeks from 2/19/10. I replied with the email address you can email to check the status of yours too, but it hasn't posted yet. It said it had to be approved first, so maybe it will show up soon. I received an email only 10 minutes after I sent one inquiring about my gift card. Wow! What service! I agree though… I would want to make sure I was getting the first one before trying for another one. Hopefully, that info. I typed will show up soon. If not, I'll try again. Hope this helps!

      • Joy

I know that rebate had a limit, only 2,000 total were available. I'm still waiting for mine and hoping that I was one of the first, but I'm starting to have serious doubts!

    • megan p.

There's a .55/2 suave shampoo or conditioner in the beautiful benefits booklet. Should make them .73 each

      • Gail

There is also a .55 cent coupon in the personal concierge booklet which makes for a really great deal on suave because it states on one 12 oz. or larger and it is a Publix coupon so if the other is manufacturer coupon you could get them for.18 cents each. Do not know the beautiful benefits booklet where is this located?

        • Kay

Gail, I just bought the 30 oz. at 10/$10, with 10 store coupons(personal concierge), so it worked out really well. You can also get one 30 oz. bottle for .55 which will last longer in my house than the smaller one.

          • The .55/2 in the beautiful benefits is a publix coupon, so you can't use both coupons together.

    • MomOf4Blessings

The Midol printable isn't working for me. It says I've printed my limit, but I'm pretty sure I've never printed it. Has anyone else been able to print it?

      • WynetteC

I was able to print two this morning. Heads up the Midol coupon – it is a bottom print on the page, in case you you turn paper over to get the most out of your printing. :)

        • cindersga

Thanks for that heads up Wynette! It's always frustrating when their coupon ad takes up a whole page. I mean we're clipping your coupon because we are going to buy your product we're not the ones who need the ad, lol I wish they would save it for someone else. Thanks again ;p

        • michelle

i do that too! hate wasting paper!

    • tdouglas

Hi, I am very new to your site, and “super” couponing. I am trying to re learn how to use them other than to go to the store and say “oh, I have a coupon for that!”. I am going to be an unemployed school teacher this summer and am desperately looking for ways to save money. I am a very frugal person to begin with, so this concept is wonderful. My problem is this: I have been clipping for a couple of weeks, and have a few coupons, not too many, I live in a small town in Alabama and am going to have to subscribe to a paper from a larger city. I went in Publix today, armed with some coupons, and ready to find a deal. I got in there and was so overwhelmed. I did not know what to do. I ended up just leaving. Can you suggest some baby steps for me to help me get started? I have watched the tutorials and read the section on getting started but I need a little more guidance I guess. thank you!

      • Krista_A

I suggest making a small list from the weekly ad, match the coupons you have. Place the coupons and the list in an envelope. Go in and buy ONLY what is on your list, makes for alot less distraction! Good luck, it takes time but stay focused and you will be good to go by the time summer comes around by picking up bits and pieces!

I am also in Alabama (Childersburg). I use this website almost on a daily basis. I buy the Birmingham News every week. I also look in Publix for different coupon books that may be out…sometimes you need to ask at customer service. One thing that is helpful to me is not clipping coupons right when I get them. I put the coupon inserts from each weeks paper into a plastic page cover and put them into a binder and then write the date on the page cover. This way, when you see the coupon matchup on this site (i.e. .55/1 SS 3/7) all you have to do is go to your set of coupons from March 7th and pull out the smart source coupons. I print my shopping list and then stick the list and all of my cut coupon matchups into an envelope and put that in my purse and head out to the store! Hope that helps some! Good luck!

      • KBBest

It helps to be really organized about it. I totally agree with Krista_A about making a list, because that is KEY! On my grocery list, I put a star next to things I am buying that I will use a coupon on. Then, before I check out, I take a minute to look through my cart, make sure I've pulled out all my coupons, and everything's ready to go.

As far as the number of coupons that you have, get ready! You may have just a few now, but soon you will have TONS! Jenny is wonderful about sharing where coupons are located all over the web, and that really helps. Stick with Southern Savers and you'll be fine!

      • Macsmom

I also spend my summers as an unempolyed teacher/mom. I started with Southern Savers last June, and now consistently save 30% every time I shop. I know others do better, but I tend to get overwelmed sometimes. I stick with Jenny's lists, print out the lists ( a GREAT feature) and take the list and coupons to the store. The only coupons I cut out as I get them are the web printables. These I file in envelopes with labels that work for me (“meds/dental”, “breakfast”, etc). Newspaper inserts I leave whole, write the date on the front of the insert in magic marker, and put in a shoe box. They are stacked in date order, so I can flip through them to find the ones Jenny matches to the sales.
Once you get weekly shopping under control, THEN try the stockpiling.

        • guest

I don't understand the unemployed part. Did you lose your job as a teacher? If so, I am very sorry. If you are not losing your job, are you calling your summer vacation a time of unemployment? I am a high school math teacher, and I have never thought of my summer vacation as a time of unemployment. I still receive pay checks during the summer.

          • nfg

            Well said!

          • val

depends on the area…some teachers get paid higher salaries during the school year, but don't get paid at all during summer

            • Lisa

So they get paid in advance? Lucky them.

            • Al

They don't get paid in advance. They only get paid for the months that they work. Some school systems take their 9 month salary and stretch it out for 12 months.

            • jessica

Ha! As a former teacher, I wish we had been paid in advance! No, sadly, many school systems only pay during the 9-month school year, and teachers don't get paid anything for the 3 months during the summer. It depends on the school system. Some stretch the meager salary out over 12 months, making it an even more measly paycheck. I am one of the ones that left the profession due to the low pay being unable to really pay the bills.

          • jessica

some school systems only pay during the school year and then teachers do not get checks during the summer. Where I used to work, that was the way it was. It was hard, because you essentially have to try to save 1/3 of what you bring home each paycheck (which is often not very much!) for those summer months when you get nothing. Some teachers I know took other jobs during the summer in order to pay the bills.

      • jenntmH

t- relax!! I completely understand. What I do is make my shopping list, clip my coupons and shop from my coupons, not my list. That way, I don't get frustrated. This method even my anti-coupon hubby can do the shopping!! I know that there are always staples that we need, so if I don't have a coupon for them, I know that I have to purchase them anyway :-) HTH

      • Jason

I too was like you when I first started. I live in Northport, AL and I get the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham newspapers on Sunday. I also print A LOT of the coupons that I use. The biggest thing that has helped me is I print out my shopping list from here a head of time and then I sit down and see how many coupons I have for that particular item. I then write the number that I can buy with the coupons I have in the margins, that way I'm not sitting in the middle of the store trying to make sure I'm not going over or coming short on the amount that I can get. I then paperclip all of the coupons that I KNOW I'm going to use to my list. I still will carry my coupon box (I use a 4×6 recipe box) in with me because sometimes I see a deal that wasn't listed that I have a coupon for.

I'm a 30 yr old male, so if I can do it, a school teacher SURE can do it! Good luck!

        • 3monkeysmom

Jason, do the B'ham and Tuscaloosa coupon inserts differ much? I live in Dora and get the B'ham news but my in-laws live in Vance and I was wondering if it would be worth getting them to get me a Tuscaloosa paper every Sunday. Thanks :-)

          • Jason

They DO differ some. The B-ham news usually will have more than T-news. When they do overlap, it's for the same amount though

        • clemsonbeav

Jason, it's good to see another male on here! I'm 24, engaged, living in Columbia, SC. My fiancée is excited that I'm figuring this whole coupon thing out now (I've only been doing it for a week, but have saved over 60% total), so that when we get married, we can stretch those savings out even more! :)

          • Lucy

Good job. It's great to see men supportive of saving money/couponing… it also means you are helping your fiancee with grocery shopping. :)

        • Lisa

I do the exact same thing with attaching the coupons and writing in the margins how many I have. I can get through the store so much faster! And I also carry my coupon binder too!

      • WynetteC

Welcome to the site! You will love all the great deals here. And don't feel alone in the overwhelmed part of it. we've ALL been there too. After you get the hang of it, it will be like second nature saving money on everything you buy! :)

      • Lisa

I just make my grocery list straight from this web-site. Then, as I'm shopping, I pull the coupon for the item I just put in my cart & put it in a pocket of my coupon binder. Then at checkout, I just hand the whole stack to the cashier. I started with grocery shopping & sort of graduated to drug store shopping. It's worth all the mental energy you put into it. I just went to Publix today – spent $37 & saved $68! I'm also unemployed & I cringe to think of what we'd be eating if I didn't coupon. We're actually eating better now than when I was employed due to couponing. Plus having nicer toiletries, name brand drugs & cleaners, etc. I've told my friends that I think a class on couponing should be required for those on food stamps. They are the ones needing the bargains the most and with this information, could probably stretch those food stamps to meet their grocery needs completely.

      • aussie509

what part of Alabama..I'm in Hope Hull, I shop at Prattville publix

      • becky.e

I felt the same way about being overwhelmed. It is much like a classroom, you teach the lesson, then allow practice. You will start saving a few dollars at first. As your confidence builds, you will save more. Like teaching, you don't expect 100% mastery the first few times of practice. Good Luck!

      • Kay

I find it helps if I cut out the picture and price of the item from the flier and paperclip the coupons to the back of it. This way, I can see the item on the shelf and not get stuck with a 16 ounce instead of an 8 ounce salad dressing, for instance, and then get all flustered at the register. Also, go at night for a practice run of the dry items, when there are less shoppers and distractions. Just go for 3 or 4 items, with a manufacturer and a store coupon to see how it all works out. And do not think that you have to have 8 coupons for this or that. Your collection will slowly grow-let your friends and family know you are couponing, and they will often pick them up and mail them to you. Good luck.I am also a teacher, but on maternity leave, so I really know where you are coming from!

      • michele_coup

I also felt overwhelmed at first but it easier. I buy two Sunday papers. I have the coupons in a three ring binder in baseball card sleeves. I set those up by aisle at Publix. I go into the store and down each aisle. I look for the BOGO offers and see if I have a coupon. Those are the items I target. I started in December and I get better each time I shop. I think the thing to remember is as you are getting your stash started there are going to be some items you may not have a coupon for and will need to pay full price. As teh sales cycle you will begin to pay less and less for each item. Hope this helps. Don't give up. Try it with a few coupons and you will become addicted after paying so much less for items.

      • leslie

I have only been doing this for a few months myself, but have saved so much money! My husband is an unemployed student and we have a teenage boy at home who eats everything he can get his hands on! I think this website is one of the only reasons we are able to get my on just my income.
I clip all my coupons and put them in a binder ( a lot of work, but it works best for me; I can see what I have right away). I print my shopping list and then pull the coupons that go with it in an envelope and take that to the store. I don't usually take my binder with me since everything I plan to buy is on my list and I already have the coupons pulled.

      • MommySpendsLess

I copy any deals I'm interested in from Jenny's list and paste them into Notepad, in the same order as my local store's aisles. Then I add in anything else we need for the week, still following the store's layout.

I print out the list, then I use the provided information to find and cut out or print the coupons. I put the list, along with the matching coupons in a zip top baggie.

Since my list is laid out like the store, I can start at the produce side and work my way across to the frozen section without backtracking or going down aisles multiple times (well, most of the time!) After I'm done shopping I find a quiet spot in the store and double check to make sure I've gotten everything on my list and remove any extra coupons (if I changed my mind, decided to buy less or they were out of something).

When I get to check out I hand over my tote bags and my Upromise card, watch everything get rung up, then take my coupons out of my baggie and give them to the cashier, making sure that she gets them all.

For me, this is actually easier than wandering aimlessly around the store trying to decide what sounds good (my husband's method! I love the man but I can't go to the grocery store with him!)

    • Krista_A

Does the ad run through 4/13 for everyone? I'm in North GA, our ad usually ends on Wednesdays, which would be 4/14.

      • RoxiG

I live in Florida and ours always go to Wednesday I was just looking at the ad itself and it goes to 4/14

    • CarolinaGirl80

You cannot use both coupons on the Scrubbing Bubbles Starter Kit. The store coupon reads: MAY NOT BE USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANY OTHER COUPON

      • Amy B.

I have never had a problem stacking these coupons. My store interprets that as any other store coupon and I am still able to redeem a MQ.

      • lovesavingmoney

It is YMMV but most store do allow you do that. In my opinion they dont want you to use two store coupons on one item. Now if it said cannot be combined with any other offer aka coupons I would not try to use a coupon on it. But I would ask your manager before hand most will say Okay!

      • marysc

That has never been an issue for me. One store coupon, one manufacture coupon per item.

      • Marina115

I did this deal last week and the cashier didn't have an issue with it. But I know some people have posted that their Manager would not allow it.

      • jenn312

I just went and bought this yesterday at my Publix and they accepted both coupons….HTH

      • ireneY

do you realize you are yelling when typing in all caps?

        • Carrie

Thanks for saying something. I didn't know that was protocol for blogs. I'm still new to this and thought that whenever I used caps I was emphasizing something like using bold or italics (I don't know how to use those, if it's even possible, on these comments). So, how does one emphasize something without using caps? Use “”?

          • ireneY

tone of message + all caps = yelling
imho, quotes would seem appropriate for this friendly blog. :)

        • nfgji

      • Jennifer

I did this deal Saturday and had NO PROBLEMS!!! The cashier even noticed both coupons and said “This is a great deal”. My Publix has never given me problems…

      • Cori

        Worked for me.

    • Diane

i can't get tQuantumatic Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser coupon to print — always says, Oops server has experienced a problem. Anyone else face this or know how to resolve?

The Kraft cheese $2/2 dispenser coupon I found was on natural shredded- is there another I should be on the lookout for?

      • Erin

The older dispenser coupons for $1/2 were for any Kraft, the ones I have expired 3/31, but there may be others out there.

    • RJcoupons

I live in Florida where it is “true” BOGO deals. How would I work the BOGO Coffee-Mate creamer deal with a B2G1 coupon.

      • Marina115

I think you would end up buying 1 and getting 2 free? Correct me if I'm wrong!

        • libby

Actually it would be like buy 1 get 3 free
because you would get 4 – 2 would be free and then the coupon would make a 3rd free!!!!!!!! now thats a good deal

      • Brooke

I live in Florida too…Buy 4, you”ll get two free with the sale, one free with the coupon and pay for one. Remember you can actually use 3 of the .75/1 coupons and actually make a little money if you store allows.

        4*1.99 = 7.96
        -3.98 – Sale
        -1.99 – B2G1 coupon
-.75 *3 – Coupons for the other 3 you are purchasing
        =.26 moneymaker

        • marcieblack

really?! that's so amazing! i actually have all those coupons, too! so, generally speaking, if you have a bogo coupon, you can also use one money off coupon since you are paying for the first product?

        • WynetteC

I am happy that works out for you guys that way. I always feel bad for the FL Publix shoppers when I see your comments on how a lot of stuff doesn't work for you.

        • Lucy

The deal becomes even sweeter if you buy 6 creamers
          6 x $1.99 = $12
          -$6 (BOGO sale)
          use 2 B2G1 coupons – will take off $4 = $2
          use 4 $0.75 coupons – will take off $3 = -$1 money maker!

          • diane

That might work in places where you have to buy 2 and the 2nd is free, but in Atlanta they are all half price, so the free ones take off $1.00, not $2.00. It is a great deal, but your numbers won't work here. SAD.

      • Misty

        buy 2 get 3 free?
if you get 1 for each one you buy and then another for the coupon….right?

    • Michelle

I am pretty sure I still have a .50/1 coffee-mate creamer that expires 5/7. Thanks again Jenny

      • carolinesurfs

I found it too, it's in RP 2/07, it makes it free with a tiny bit of overage!

        • Michelle

I know…..I have six of them :-)….I did look to make sure and it is indeed for liquid creamer! Free creamer for us this week.

      • WynetteC

I think it's for the powder creamer. And the refrigerated liquid creamer is the one that is on sale and pictured in Publix's ad. I don't think the store would be reimbursed if you used it either in that scenario.

        • Erin

My insert had a .50 q for liquid AND a .50 off powder. I already used my liquid, but others may not have, they should be able to use the liquid legitimately.

          • WynetteC

If that's the case, it is a good deal. Coupontom dot com is listing the powdered creamer as the .50 off coupon and the liquid as .75 off. Maybe this is one of those regional variations that benefits some people. :)

            • Joy

I also got both the .50/1 powdered as well as a .50/1 liquid. Pairing that with the B2G1 printable and I am so excited for some FREE creamer! Yeah!

    • Dee

I don't see the scrubbing bubbles sprayer kit in my ad. Is it hidden? I'm in Fla

      • Angie

It is not on sale, this is the regular price. I got two yesterday. Use the Publix $3.00 off and manufacturer $5.00 off. Price 7.99, savings 8.00 they pay you a penny to take it out of the store. Great deal!

        • Stacey

I'm trying to figure out how to get the $3 Publix coupon? I printed the $5 off, but still can't locate the $3 Publix…any help appreciated.

          • Carly

It is in the One Stop One Store q booklet

          • Carrie

The $3 coupon is in the “One Stop One Store” booklet.

    • babygirlnisser

What is Kroger My Magazine??? Does Kroger put out magazines in their stores or do they mail them??

      • tlmama

they send them in the mail. Make sure they have your mailing address!

    • For the BP giftcard is it $25 before coupons?

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Yes, it is $25 before coupons – at least it always has been in the past. Hope this helps!

      • Jennifer

I'm not sure about for the gift card, but I had a competitor coupon today ($10. off a $50. purchase from Winn Dixie) and she held it out until the end and said my total had to be $50. AFTER she scanned my coupons. I think this is a new thing. I don't remember them doing that before. It may have been because it was a competitor coupon though. I might call and ask first if I were you. Good luck! (I went to the Lee Branch Publix in AL., by the way. I understand why they do that and wasn't upset, but would have liked to have had a head's up because I had to go back and buy more groceries. lol!

        • Lisa

It might have just been the cashier. That happened to me once, so I switched to another store. But I have since gone back to the original store and have had no problems. (Although the last time I went, they held the $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupon until last, so I thought oh no, not again!, but they deducted it. I was barely over $30 pre coupon and about $10 after all coupons were deducted.

        • lynna

Hey Jennifer, I shop at that Publix often and they have taken the competitor Q just like the one you used before my other Q's. I wonder if it was the cashier. Sorry. :(

      • Lisa

Yes, it's before coupons. Today I bought $26 before coupons, less $6 in coupons and was able to get the $10 off. Also, 2 weeks ago when they ran the ad, I bot $55 before coupons, had $20 in coupons and paid $35. They were out of the BP cards so they told me to come back with the receipt. When I did I was able to buy 2 $50 BP cards using that receipt and got $20 discount for the BP coupons.

    • Sara

I got a Sunday paper (Greenville News) but I don't see a Publix ad anywhere – will it be in the Wednesday paper? I want the BP coupon!

      • Jennifer

You should be able to get it when you walk into the store when the ad is active. It should be in there. At least it always is in my Publix!

      • Lana

You can get the coupon by going to the ad at http://www.publix.com and clicking on the coupon in the ad-this will allow you to print your own coupon.

    • RoxiG

The store coupons for the Scrubbing bubbles Sprayer Kit say can not be used in conjunction with any other coupon, is it going to be an issue to use it with the $5 manufacturer coupon?

      • kkkk

I used both together just fine, I asked my publix about using these coupons together and they said it was fine.

      • Lucy

I also used both just fine. Even asked the cashier. He read all the fine print and had no problem with coupons what-so-ever. By the way, it's a GREAT product. It's been 5 days, and my 2 bathrooms are still shining like new.

    • Dustin

In Miami, the deal on Purex Laundry Detergent is for $4.99, not $3.99.

    • I'm not seeing the Pam coupon in the April All You magazine.

      • I just filed my mom's and hers was a cardstock Con Agra insert in the magazine.

    • Michelle

can somebody tell me what a BP card is???

      • Joanna

A gas gift card for BP gas stations…you pay $40 for a $50 gas card.

      • beckyr

It is a gift card for the BP gas stations (Southern States). They used to do Shell gift cards as well, but lately it has only been BP. But that is a 20% savings on gas, so not bad (if you have a BP in your area or will be traveling and come across a BP).

      • M@M

Gift card for BP Convenience & Gas store…you immediately get $10 off your order when you purchase the gift card which can be used for your gas (or I suppose other purchases) at British Petroleum (BP) stores. HTH!

    • Courtney

I bought the Huntsville Times (AL) this morning and I just found out that I do not have a RP or SS. Did anyone else not have it?

      • wl

I think Jenny posted earlier last week that there would only be a P&G insert this week–no RP or SS.

      • Chrissy

        Hi Courtney,

On weekends with major holidays (like Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Christmas, etc), there will NOT be any RP's or SS's. Proctor and Gamble screws up the trend by releasing coupon booklets during those weekends, so if those coupons are valuable to you then go ahead and purchase papers during holiday weekends. If those coupons are not valuable, then take advantage of the weekend off from clipping :-)

        • WynetteC

Chrissy, I agree with you on P & G messing it all up with when they release their coupons. They did this last time around Christmas or New Year's.

          • jenntmH

Here in Greenville, it was so worth it to get the paper even though it was the only insert. There were several higher value coupons as well as at least 4 BOGO coupons.

      • Jessthere

If you go to the search box at the top of the page and type in coupon inserts, you can then click on the 2010 inserts and it will tell you what to expect in the paper for each week. HTH

    • amy

Regarding the Organic Valley milk coupons, has anyone actually tried using the one from the Greenwise mag. and a mfg. coupon together? I only ask b/c the one from the mag. also has a bar code like a mfg coupon, so I am not sure if it is a true store coupon. I think it is also a mfg. coupon, so you can use both in conjunction with one another…

      • I've been using them together for the past month or even two.

      • Marina115

I always use them together w/ no problem.

      • amy

I used them today on two half gallons, but they scanned them just like any other coupon and it came up as a Vendor coupon, not a Publix coupon, so it was like I was using 2 mfg. coupons on each milk. I just thought I would let other know b/c it really isn't a Publix coupon, so you shouldn't use both. I guess their system just isn't catching it. Thanks for the information, at least now I've tried it and know that it isn't really legit.

    • summervillegal

another $1 off yoplait fiber one multipack in the “eat better america” coupon mailer.

    • Where do I find all the “advantage flyers” and booklets like “one stop one store” in Publix? I always check the little rotating kiosk that's in the entrance lobby and never know if that's the right place. I'm new to this so have only been looking a couple times so far and just don't know if I'm in the right spot or if I need to ask for them or if there's a way to have them mailed ????

      • Jessthere

The green and yellow advantage flyers are normally in the kiosk, the booklets seem to go a little faster. Check with your customer service, some put them behind the counter to keep peeps from taking stacks of them. I have e-mailed publix and asked that a couple of booklets be mailed to me and received the coupons only. One of the ones I received by mail expired in 3 days so I missed a couple of sales.

        • Thank you!! When I was in today I asked at the service desk and they had one green, and said they try to keep some back there so people don't take whole stacks. :)

    • janetlouise

In answer to tdouglas about feeling overwhelmed with the first attempt at coupon shopping just hang in there. The first time or two can be confussing. I use Jenny's list and make my list, print it and then match the deals with the coupons I have, then I clip. I save the rest in a file marked by the month and week. I mark the amount of the product I plan to buy as well on the list and check it off when I have coupon set aside. I take a zippered plastic folder, the list and my coupons to Publix, where I also find the Sunday papers of which I buy 4 each week. You must buy at least 2 for the buy one get one deals to make the best deal. My folder is a good place to put the coupons I decide not to use when I have seen the product. Also the coupons I find in the store. I find the product, the coupon and mark it off the list and continue through the store. Remember not to shop around through the store and try to stick to the list unless you really need something and then go ahead and get it. Soon you will zip through in a hurry. Keep you eye open for the blinkie boxes with coupons on the store shelves for current sales or save them for later sales. You don't have to get it just because it is on sale but try to stock up on what you like to use regularly so you will have plenty until the next great buy. Don't give up! You will soon be saving a lot of money and be hooked!

Does Publix require a frequent buyer card (like E-Vic) to get their specials?

      • Jessthere

No they do not have a card. But you can sign up for the Baby Club and get coupons if you need them, and they do have an upromise card.

    • chrystal m

On the green giant and many other online coupons it says do not double or triple but on the adds above you show the price with it being doubled. Which coupons are doubled and which are not? Does it depend on the cashier whether they douple it or not?

      • Jessthere

I think each store is different. The Publix closest to be started suppressing doubles that say DND a couple of months ago. So I travel a little further where there are 2 other Publix's within a 4 mile radious and both double even if the coupon says DND. Best to check with your store manager on their policies.

      • Erin

usually it depends on the store, if the upc code on the coupon begins with a 5, it will automatically double at stores that do doubles. Certain stores/cashiers may automatically adjust the coupon to remove the double value off. In my experience this has never happened at my Publix, it has happened at Ingles before. The doubled savings are store discounts, not from the manufacturer, so I don't really know why the manufacturers limit the doubling on the coupon.

      • Michelle

It is hit or miss for my Publix….if it says it and they realize it, they will surpress the doubling. But I had one let it go through on Saturday. Depends on cashier I guess in Athens, AL

    • Misty

are the Nabisco Single Serve Tray or Variety Pack gonna work for the facebook cookie deal?

      • Joy

Well, I guess it will depend on the ounces of those multi-packs. The coupon is good for sizes between 4-26 oz. But, it also is only up to $4.19 so even if the ounces are correct, you wouldn't be able to get the full value for free. Still might be a good deal for you though if you want the multi-packs.

    • amyscoupons

Starbucks is $6.99 at Publix this week. There are a few $1 off and $1.50 off coupons floating around, too. I clip, so I don't always keep up with where they come from.

    • Kristin

I am confused about the Coffee-Mate deal. If you buy three, use two of the .75/1 coupons, plus the B2G1 coupon, wouldn't that be using two manufacturer's coupons on the same product? I thought you couldn't do that…

Sorry for the silly question – I am new at this!

      • Michelle

It is one coupon per item….The B2G1 Free is for the free one, the .75 cents off is for the 1st one and the other .75 cents off is for the second one (the two you have to buy in order to get the free one). Not all stores allow this (one Publix near me doesn't allow it, but another one down the road does).

      • Joy

It would be different if your coupon was say $1/3 items. In that case you couldn't use another. But the B2G1 is only for one item, not all three. You may have already understood with Michelle's answer, but I thought I'd give you another explanation, just in case. Hey, no silly questions! =) We're all happy to help!

I can't print the Northland 100% Juice Blends coupon :(

      • MrsD05

        me either. :-(

      • Snowski824

I got the message that there were no more prints for that campaign

    • Laura

Thanks so much for all that you do! I wanted to let you know that I’ve discovered a troubling bit of news about Publix, and the fact that they continue they continue to purchase tomatoes from the farms where the victims in a recent Florida farmworker slavery case were taken to work, despite being made aware of it by protesters and interfaith human rights groups. Other stores, including Kroger, have stopped using this tomato farm as a supplier.

As a Christian, I’ve chosen to boycott them for this reason, and thought you might like to know. Farmers market season is coming up, and we can all get some great deals on local produce by buying from our local farmers. I find the produce to be cheaper, cleaner, and to last MUCH longer than the stuff that’s shipped from South America or Calfornia, and I like knowing that I’m supporting my towns struggling local economy.

You can read about the Publix story here: http://www.interfaithact.org/publix

And find your local farmers market here: localharvest.org

Again, thanks for all you do! Your hard work has saved my family hundreds of dollars!!

      • Joy

Laura, I read the story you had linked and also the links from that story to the original article in the Ft. Myers newspaper. It seems to me like the people responsible weren't actually the farms themselves, but rather some individuals who have since been convicted and sent to prison. How would boycotting Publix and those farms help anything? Seems like the problem was resolved, right? Am I missing something? Also, since those farms are in Florida, our local communites, buying from them is helping our local town's struggling economies, right? But I am all for supporting the farmers markets too! I love buying produce there. I too am a Christian and am concerned with human-rights struggles, but I am just not understanding this one? Thanks so much!

    • Has anyone been able to print the Quantum coupon? I just tried and it isn't even showing up. I tried last Wed or Thurs and it never printed. I really wanted to try this since I always use the gel packs by the same company!

      • Snowski824

I just tried it and it printed.

      • I printed mine. It sounds as if your “try” last week was a print, as far as they are concerned. They only know that you hit the print button and it is sent to your printer. They have no way of tracking if it was actually printed after that tho. That particular website allows one print and then the item is removed from your available coupons. Do you have another computer?

        • Just tried to print from another computer and not even seeing it availabe to choose. I sent them an email telling them that I only buy the Finish Gelpacks (which is true) and asked them to send me the coupon. Hopefully they will. Each time I have had a problem getting a coupon the company has mailed me one. :-)

    • melissa1974

At Publix on Fairview Rd. in Simpsonville, SC, Publix sandwich bread is $.25.

    • FYI, the Steak-umm's 7 count (frozen) rang up BOGO at my store this morning. They are originally $4.49 and rang up at $2.25 each. YUM!

    • Beach Lover

I am new to this whole “couponing” thing and I am a little confused and overwhelmed! I have read everything about Publix, but I still have a question. I live in the South Florida area (true BOGO) and was wondering if Publix takes 2 manufacturer coupons. Such as one printed from the internet and one that I clipped from the newspaper on the same item. I know that they will take one store coupon (such as Publix or one of its competitors) but I am not sure about this scenario. Any help or advice would be greatly appreaciated. I started last week with my first real trips to CVS and Walgreens and I am getting the hang of out. Now I really want to get away from the clutches of Wal-Mart and save some real $$$ at Publix like you guys! Thanks :)

      • I am also a south Fl shopper. You can only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item. Whether it is from the paper or a printable. The only way to use more than one is to stack a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon together. Almost all coupons will say one coupon per purchase, meaning one per item.

        • Jen

That's what I thought. I believe that I had the same problem at CVS the other day as well because I thought that I could use both the printable and a regular newspaper coupon! Thanks for the response…little by little I will learn this whole process!

    • Lisa

I stopped by Publix today & was thrilled to spot an unadvertised sale on the big cans of Folgers – B1G1 @ $8.99. The cheapest I've ever seen these was $5.99. The Black Silk was not included, which is what the high dollar coupons are for right now, but I did have some smaller ones to bring the total a little lower.

    • mia

the coupon for the betty crocker supremem brownie mix says not to double so it would be more than .49

      • Jennifer

Even though some coupon say do not double or triple, Publix will…..I had 10 like that this past weekend and they all got doubled…..

      • Michelle

It depends on the store….sometimes they will surpress the doubling of the coupon if it says not to double. It is up to the individual store. My store told they will surpress the doubling of coupons that state that, however, they have doubled them the past two times I have been in.

        • Catherine

this just happened to me at Publix about an hour ago. The cashier suppressed the doubling on the Betty Crocker pot. and the Green Giant vegetable. Really bummed me out because I've had coupons that state *do not double* and the cashier let the doubling go through. Oh well, I guess it depends on the day and time and cashier and………. :)

          • tinaded

The U-scan cant suppress the do not double qs.

      • Marina115

I tried to use some of those today and normally the cashier just lets them through without a problem. Today though, she started suppressing them, and when I asked a manager about it. She said they are starting to crack down on those. So it all depends on the manager.

      • tr4noles

there are peelies on the GM cereal for $1 off the BC brownies…which are B1G1 this week for I think $2.39? with 2 $1 coupons makes it $0.20a box…..depending on your area's price.

    • renee06

Publix has Heluva Good dip on Sale for $1.49 and you can print a coupon from their website for $0.50/1 making the dip .49 cents!

      • colascmom

What Publix has the heluva good dip on sale with a coupon on their website? i can't find it in the columbia sc area.

        • renee06

The dip is on sale at my Kroger in Gainesville, Ga. Maybe it is
regional or just this store. But you can get the coupon on heluva's

        • down in the charleston area it's on sale for 1.49 also and i printed the coupon from the Heluva good site making it .49.

    • CGW

Is the “One Stop One Store” booklet still available?

      • Marina115

My store still had a pile at the entrance at the store. It all depends on your store.

      • kashlea

They may or may not be. I had to speak to a customer service rep, then she went searching in the back & wala! She came back with 3 for me. So ask. Same thing with the Value in Family one!

    • Carey

I am confused with Publix's policy that they honor all competitor's coupons. I took in a Lowe's coupon for Total Care Tide that I got from the Smart Source pack in Sunday's paper. The cashier called over the manager and said Lowe's is not a grocery store and I said the coupon is for the same product. He said alittle irritated with me, “we are pushing it with the CVS and Walgreen's coupons as it is.” We have a CVS, Walgreen's and Lowe's and I would think they are competitor's? I emailed Publix corporate but have heard no response yet. I'm not trying to break any rules but I'm unclear on which competitor coupons I can use???? Anyone have any thoughts??

      • Jennifer

It's not really that they honor all competitor's coupons… they honor what each individual store considers to be a competitor, so each store is different. You just have to find out what your store considers to be a competitor. I would just call and ask your store what competitor coupons they take. For example my Publix will take Target, Winn Dixie, and Walgreens coupons because that is what they consider to be “competitors” for them, but each store is different. I know it gets confusing, but be patient, it's all worth it once you figure out all the tricks. :) Hope this helps!

        • Carey

The manager of Publix called me back yesterday and insisted I describe the asst. manager who told me I was pushing it with my Walgreen's, CVS, ect. He said Publix does not have a corporate policy and it is left up to the individual store. He did say Lowe's wasn't an acceptable competitor's coupon but told me the asst. manager should have explained that to me instead of being irritated with me. Our Publix will accept CVS, Walgreen's, Target, Super Walmart, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Winn Dixie. He also said Publix is not a tit for tat company and will not force the issue over 75 cents so he apologized and I told him, no worries, I just think everyone should know what's going on because I don't want to break any rules or hurt a good thing. I told him I have a big mouth so I'll make sure everyone in our town knows what to do! :)

      • Kim

My Publix won't take Target coupons for the same reason that your Publix won't take Lowe's coupons. I KNOW my Publix wouldn't take a Lowe's coupon! lol :)

I don't know if it differs by store or not, but my Publix's policy is that they'll only take other grocery store coupons, like Kroger and Ingles. Not Target, and I haven't tried CVS or Walgreen's.

        • michelle

I've been to a Publix in my area that will not accept Rite Aid any more, even with them right across the street. However, the Publix that is closer to my house tried to deny me the coupon also but I spoke to the manager after I walked out and she told me to come back in and they would honor my Rite Aid coupons. It varies by store, one Publix I asked before I used the coupon even though the Rite Aid was a couple miles down the road and they honored it.

      • FL_Girl

Publix is a “grocery store.” Are you able to buy groceries at Lowes? That should answer your question.

Most stores only take coupons from traditional grocery stores, i.e. Winn-Dixie, U-Save, Albertsons, Target, Kroger, etc.

Some take drugstores like Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS. Most don't.

We are lucky enough Publix takes competitor coupons, so lets not push it.

        • Lisa

          Well said!

        • michelle

NO! When your “grocery store” carries non-grocery items, they are no longer a “grocery store” exclusively. If the stores carry the same products and are right across the street from each other, then they are competitors. And FYI, Target is NOT a grocery store, Super Targets are, but regular Target stores are “stores that happen to sell grocery items”.

      • Carrie

Wow, your's takes CVS & WAGS coupons? I sure wish mine did?

      • nowkacoupons

Effective May 1, our Publix (Decatur, AL) will no longer accept drug store, Kmart, Dollar General, Target, etc. as competitors. They explained, “If it doesn't have produce/meat/deli, we won't consider it a competitor.” Another customer service person said the changes are coming thru their new District Manager, not the store. The next closest Publix's are 18 miles away. Each of those stores said they would cont. to accept all as competitors (excpt. Lowes :-))

      • PTL

There is a grocery store called Lowes Food, so if you have one in your area, then it would be a competitor of Publix. He must have thought it was the Lowes home improvement center.

    • heathern86

I have a question for all of those couponing pros out there! I have 2 coupons for $2/2 Keebler Crackers from Walgreen's. My Publix considers Walgreen's a competitor. Will I be able to use both $2/2 coupons, or only 1? I feel like I've seen where other people have mentioned doing things similar to this, but now I'm not so sure. Any help is appreciated! :)

      • blessed2save

You will get the hang of it! As long as you 2 buy items you can use the $2/2 coupon if you have 2 coupons then you will need to buy 4 boxes to use 2 coupons. Basically you have to buy the min. quantity the coupon calls out for (2 in this case).

      • Jen

If one is a walgreen's store coupon and the other is a manufacturer coupon, you should be able to use both if you buy 2 boxes.

    • Michelle

Anyone willing to mail me a copy from your store of the “one stop one store” booklet and the “value in the family” booklet? Our store does not carry them. I’ll mail you back stamps to cover the postage. If anyone is willing, please email me at ocdcleanfreak@yahoo.com.

    • Holly

there is the $10 off prevacid manfacturer coupon and publix has a store coupon for $5 off in their spring savings book

      • Lisa

The $10 is for the 42 count. It's very expensive! My Publix only has the 14 count for about $12, and the 28 count for $20+

    • Danyella

Where do you get the “One Stop One Store” booklet.

      • Lisa

Check out “Coupon Traders” on the top right hand side of this page. If you post what you are looking for, someone may trade with you.

Does anyone know what the price on the Huggies Diapers are? I'm got several coupons for the rebate but don't know if it will be a good deal or not.

      • Jenn

        between 17.99 and 19.99.

      • Diana

Called my store in simpsonville, sc and they are 19.99. I think it's a good deal but the gift card won't come until june/july from what I can find. Hope this helps

    • pharmSCgirl

      Heads up:

You can find a $1 off any ONE bag of M&Ms (9.4 oz or larger) attached to some bags. This makes them $1.34 per bag since they are B1G1. I know for sure that the Publix on Rosewood in Columbia had a lady come in and put the stickers on the bags.

    • ksnyder89

check your clearance tower…..my store has betty crocker yukon mashed potatos on clearance for 79 cents……free after coupon!

    • dillard_christina

My store has 16-oz strawberries for $1.25, unadvertised. Guess strawberry season is here! Time to stock up – that's half the price of frozen!

    • Shelly

I have to agreed with Mia in that, I am finding that many of the prices listed are not what I'm finding when I actually get to the market. Not sure where the prices in the ( ) are coming from but not in Jacksonville unless I'm at the wrong market:)

      • Lana

Go to http://www.publix.com and check the ad for your store. It will have the prices for your area-they do vary.

    • kashlea

I went to Publix last night & could not find the Kraft Products tearpad for the Kraft BBQ Sauce. I was looking around where the pdt was, even asked someone & they had no idea what i was talking about :( Can anyone help? Thanks!

      • elisa

When a q is listed as being from a tearpad or in-store dispenser, it's not necessarily in that same store (or even still available). I used to spend a lot of time wandering around stores looking for these, too, until I finally realized that. Now I just grab 2 q's from any dispenser I see in a store for a product I think I'll use so that I'll have the q's when the item does go on sale. Tearpads and dispensers are just another way of collecting coupons, if that makes sense. Hope this helps. =)

        • kashlea

Thanks! I will have to remember to scan for coupons when shopping aisles.

    • michelle

i cannot stress enough the Prevacid deal Publix has through 4/23. $5 off Publix coupon any count + $6 off 14ct or 28 ct. I am going into Publix every day until the promo is over to get my 14ct Prevacid for $.55 ea. I should have a 6 month supply for the cost of one package of 14ct. THANK YOU PUBLIX!!

      • Kelley

Thanks for your post. I got 2 of the Prevacids today. My store had them for 10.79 so I got overage. I also got the Bayer aspirin with overage. I got 1.68 in overage today, plus free Coffee Mate, free Gatorade. Great deals!!

      • Michelle

How do you get that many advantage buy flyers? They only give out ONE at my store….they do not display them either. You have to ask for one at customer service desk:-(

        • Mistletoes405

I get Advantage Buy flyers in my Sunday papers and my husband's co-workers give them to me out of thiers, too. My Publix is also really good about keeping them out at the turnstyle as you enter the store. If you ever want extras you can email me and I'll get them to you for postage! Mistletoes405 at gmail dot com.

The links for Quantumatic Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser and Scrubbing Bubbles are no longer valid, :( was anyone able to print? I really need it this.

      • joe

Never mind, I was able to print the Quatumatic one from thier site and also from HomeSolutions, so I end up with four coupons, awesome!!!!

        Thanks Jenny.

    • Lucy

If you are in Orlando (or anywhere where there is an Albertsons), check to see if your Publix accepts Albertson's coupons as compertitors coupons. Mine does for example. Then go to albertsonsmarkets com, look on the weekly ad and print out $4/4 General Mills products coupon. Buy 4 boxes of cereal (bogo), use $4/4 + manf. coupons, and you could get some really really cheap cereal or even a money maker!

      • Mary

Thanks for this info! I am in The Villages and they will take Albertson's coupons.

        • Emily

ss 3/7 is the March 7th SmartSource insert in the newspaper…not online.

    • colascmom

Does “SS 3/07” mean there was a coupon for the item in the March 7 Smart Source? If so, can someone tell me how to access that particular date on the SS website? Thanks.

      • I dont think you can go back to a particular date online. You can only see what is on SS currently.

        • colascmom

Oh, that's a good reason to print all the coupons even if you don't plan to use them that week- I suppose? Thanks!

      • Marina115

SS 3/7 means that there was a smart source coupon insert in the Sunday Newspaper on March 7th. It's a paper coupon, not a printable coupon. Hope that helps!

    • What does the (IE) and (FF) mean behind the printable link?
I cant get those coupons to print.

      • DonnaTN

IE – Internet Explorer and FF is Firefox

    • JO

If I spend $25 at Publix + buy the BP gas card for $50 can I use a $10 off $50 competitor coupon also? Also is the $25 before or after coupons?

      • DonnaTN

$25 before coupons and I would ask if they would except the $10 off $50, depends on your store.

    • Elizabeth

The $1 off Alaskan pollok coupons can be used for the Mrs. Paul's fish sticks. (It's in the fine print.) I'm sure your cashiers will fight it at first, but just point out the fine print and the ingredients list on the box of fish sticks. Mrs. Paul's is the only fish stick company that uses “Alaskan” pollok… at least, the only one I've found.

      • colascmom

Where do you find the alaskan pollock coupon? Thanks

        • Elizabeth

          Ooops! Coupons.com Zip that works -> 32301

I cannot find the store coupon for midol, I got the adj flyer and it wasnt in there. Is this an old store coupon?

      • Amber

it's listed on a coupon along with multiple other meds in the green advantage flier. I almost missed it too!

      • Momme

It is in the green flyers dated 2/27 to 3/26. I found it on the page with the slimfast and colon health (its above the colon health coupon) the coupon reads save $2 on any alieve midol bayer once a day flinstones alka seltzer philips. I didnt think I had it either and came here to check. Glad I went back and looked through the flier again!

    • joe

Can someone help me we this, Im in Jacksonville FL, the Scrubbing Bubbles is not in the ad but it is the same price at $7.99 my question is I printed the coupon for $5 but the words are for “on one scrubbing bubbles Automatic shower cleaner starter kit” are you guys useing this one for the Power Sprayer starter? I know that the one for Publix does includes both.
Is there another $5 coupon for the scubbing Bubblespower sprayer?

      • joe

Forgot to ask also, is the Finish Quantumatic on sale here in FL? I don't see it in the ad and at my store is $9.99.

        • LRachal

Right – it's not on sale in Florida (well maybe just here in Jax), and my store had it at $9.99, too. The ad has another Finish product on sale. Sometimes (not often) this happens.

        • kpojero

I live in central Florida and it was 8.99 at my store.

        • Carrie

$8.99 in Palatka (just South of you). I was disappointed to see that price. Maybe our stores will have it on sale before the coupons expire.

      • LRachal

Joe – there is a $3.00 off The Scrubbling Bubbles Kit in the store coupon flyer “One Store One Stop”. I found this flyer at the front of my Publix on Duval Station Rd tonight. The coupond reads “on any ONE Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter or Automatic Shower Cleaner Starter Kit. So the $5.00 one you printed, plus this one will make it free.

        • joe

The $3 off coupon does say for the Sprayer Starter, but the $5 off is only for the Automatic, tha'ts why I was asking if there is another $5 off coupon, some where out there.

          • Amber

My $5 coupon printed off only for the sprayer starter kit. I did print my coupon over a week ago, though. Maybe the manuf. has since changed the coupon setting online?

    • bethanne

Just got back from Publix in Vestavia. The green giant coupons would not double so I didn't get those items. Now I am thinking that 50 cents a box is still pretty good so I might go back by there. I

    • bethanne

If you picked up coupons at any Weight Watchers meetings in January and February you may have picked up the coupons for 75 cents off of jolly time popcorn (made them 25 cents tonight!) Also in the same flyer there were $1 off and 75 cents off of the Weight Watchers frozen novelties. I bought two boxes: one was $2.50 after coupon and the other $2.75. Not bad for those items.

    • bethanne

Picked up the Yellow sales flyer at the front of the Publix in Vestavia. There was a coupon for $1.50 off of two Kashi pizzas, which are on sale for $5 each this week. Also there were some coupons for Healthy Choice items. I bet they go on sale soon.

    • Beth

Harris Teeter had coupons in the Review Appeal (paper they throw in your driveway for free every Tuesday in Franklin, TN) today. There was a $5 off a $40 purchase and 8 $.50 off of any item coupons. These made the Goldfish that Publix has on sale for $1.00 only $.50 for me tonight!!! I actually got more than one of those inserts and Harris Teeter says only one insert/VIC household so it made sense to use the extras at Publix.

At the Publix in Trussville off of Deerfoot Parkway, there are .55 cents off ONE Sauve shampoo or conditioner! I was alerted to this deal by my SIL this morning. They have the booklets behind the service desk. They are Personal Concierge booklets. They are also store coupons. This makes the Sauve shampoo like .45 cents each!

We also have starwberries on sale for $1.25 each or 4 for $5 for the 16oz size. The 32 oz sizes are $2.50 each or 2 for $5. They have looked & smelled good!

One other tip here. I am a cashier at this store. I have been told by my store manager that Publix coupons do NOT expire, ever. As long as the coupon says Publix coupon (must be a store coupon for this to work), then it is still good!!!

      • kidsallgone

Are you kidding me? Is this a store policy that might be posted somewhere? Do all managers know this? How about the cashiers?
That would be awesome if it were true…unfortunately for me, I tossed out some awesome coupons that expired at the end of March :(
        THanks for any replies….

        • 3monkeysmom

When I was getting a raincheck last week for the Chocolate Cheerios, I pointed out that the Publix coupon expired on 4/4 and the cashier told me they really don't care if a Publix coupon expires. He said they just throw them away.
I also found a Publix coupon for two free shopping bags on a pack of batteries a few weeks back that actually expired sometime in 2009. The cashier that day told me if the coupon was still attached to the item it didn't matter what the expiration date is.
My question would be: If the expiration dates don't matter to them, why do they put them on there in the first place????
This might be one of those YMMV kind of things…..never hurts to ask. I guess I will start saving ALL my Publix coupons, just in case :-)

    • Pat

I am having no luck finding the Freschetta pizza coupon. Atlanta paper seem to miss out on some of the great Q's you list. What's up?

      • MommySpendsLess

Newspaper coupons are regional. Although a majority of the coupons are pretty much the same nationwide, depending on where you live, you might be missing some coupons or yours might be a different value. In general, larger metro area papers tend to have higher value coupons. Jenny's area usually has much better coupons than what I can find here in Central Florida – lucky lady! For example, I looked for the Dove hair care product coupon for my CVS trip. Most blogs had it listed as $1.50/1 and mine was $2.50/2…

    • Momof2girlzs

Heres an Idea. Publix has there Nabisco snack pack cookies bogo. The New Facebook coup that could be printed this past monday is good for bogo on a box up to 26 oz with the purchase of 1 gal of milk. So you can get 2 boxes and 1 gal of milk for around 5 dollars. Not sure if this is a great deal but my kids were super happy.

      • I did this exact thing. Loved it!

    • Stacy

just wanted to let you know that our Publix @ Lee Branch in B'ham Alabama only takes the following competitor coupons: Walgreens, Target, Winn Dixie and some Brunos. We don't take Kroger or Food Lion. Each Publix takes different competitor coupons. They take the stores that are close to them.

      • Stephanie B.

This is the same store I shop at Stacy. I love it! I almost always shop on Sunday morning and will go out of my way to go through the same cashiers line (Joyce). She is very supportive of my couponing! My only small complaint is that this store rarely seems to have the coupon books (other than the green and yellow advantage buy flyers).

        • meredithcombs

I shop at Lee Branch also –and I also always go to Joyce. She is great and can't wait to see how much I save. Another one that's good is Judy.

    • DonnaTN

Not sure where to post this but wanted to let everyone know you can get a B1G1 coupons on Tropicana's site for 1 pt today only. It's for the Trop50 kind and expires 4/21!!

    • Melanie

You can get a coupon for $1.00 off 2 boxes of the quaker chewy granola bars off the quaker website if you enter to win the afterschool rocks sweepstakes at quakeroats.com

    • AngelaDH

For those of you who have an EarthFare coupon book from December (those of us in Chattanooga received them opening day), there is a $1/2 manufacturer coupon for Immaculate Cookie Dough. Stack that with the Greenwise store coupon and it's .04/ea if you have two Greenwise coupons or $1.08 for two otherwise. :)

      • Thank you. I have those coupons and will do the deal!

    • libby

Do you think that publix would have a problem with coupons printed on bright orange colored paper? I bought two reams at a garage sale for super cheap and would rather use those than buy white paper…

      • bethanne

i've printed them on shocking hot pink before!

      • elisa

I doubt it. I always print mine on scratch paper and never have a problem. They've even taken coupons that have all kinds of other stuff printed on them because I accidentally printed with the used side on the front instead of the back-lol. Publix does not seem to be too picky about their coupons.

    • 3monkeysmom

Question: Publix will take competitor coupons but will they take competitor gift cards??
I just got a $5 Wal-Mart gift card in the mail today (not sure what the promotion is, the Wal-Mart listed on the mailing is not the closest one to me, about 30 minutes away and apparently the whole neighborhood got them, my grandmother lives next door and she got one, they're all addressed to “resident”). I'm wondering if Publix would take it b/c I absolutely DESPISE going to Wal-Mart……I'll use it at Wal-Mart if I have to, $5 is $5, but I'd rather not have to go there.

      • JumpingJupiter

Highly doubt it. Never came across that situation before, but it isnt likely that the registers would even recognize it.

      • MommySpendsLess

Very, very, very unlikely. Unlike coupons, gift cards are specific to a corporation's computer system. If Publix took competitor's gift cards, there would be nothing to stop people from putting $0.01 on a Walmart card then taking it to Publix and telling them it's worth $100…

    • Jamie

Thanks Jenny! I've been following your website for about 5 months and I get better and better at saving. Some of my friends don't believe the small amount I spend on groceries and don't believe it's possible…but it is!! Today, my publix trip was very successful – spending $31 on a grocery bill that would have been $93 without coupons and sales – an ALL TIME HIGH!! Yippie!

      • Nelanie

I spent about the same amount this week. My friends can't figure out how I do it! I tell them all the time to check out this site! Jenny, thanks again for all you. YOu taught me a new way to shop and my family is so thankful.

    • libby

Does Publix have a set restocking date for all of them or is it different for all stores?

      • Snowski824

It's probably different for every store. I ask the manager when they expect to get things in again.

    • denaSC

Does anyone know if the huggies rebate with $35 purchase is before coupons?

    • Tammy

I was trying to print coupons from smartsource.com and I keep getting this message.
I have Internet Explorer and Windows XP. I've never had this problem before.

      Invalid Mac Id

Your access to print from this site has been disabled. Please contact xyz@abc.com to enable it

    • sharonbenz

I keep getting an insufficient privileges message when I try to print coupons off of smartsource.com. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Please help!

    • CouponJam

      This is a great site!

Question about the green giant vegetables… When I went to print off the qs the only ones that printed out are for the steamers. Are the steamers included in the sale or is it just the boxed veggies????

      • I got on here to look for the answer to this same question… Guess I will take my q's just in case.

        • It says on the coupon “when you buy any green giant frozen vegetable”. You can use it on the boxed vegetables. The steamers were not included in the sale at my store because their ounces size is too big.

    • abreci

Jenny, The Publix Loratidine tablets with coupon are still not as good a deal as the $4 price lock at BiLo if that is still going on which I think it is.

    • Kelly

Can someone tell me, if a coupon says “expires 4/8/10” and I go shopping on 4/8, will the coupon work or is it expired?

      • kpojero

        It will work.

        • Kelly

      • Terry

I know this is a little late; however, for future reference, it is good until closing time on the date of expiration! Hope this helps. :)

    • 2Cor12_9

I just wanted to say that I love your site! Also, there have been a rash of peelie stealers at my store lately and I am sure it is people who don't realize that it is stealing. I know I did take some when I first started couponing over a year ago. I know that you have posted about this in the past…coupon etiquette…but it is so bad at my store in Charleston, sc that CS has been keeping those behind the counter and not putting out some. The meat manager gave me some of the Tombstone $3/2 tearpad Q's the other week and said that they were just not putting these things out anymore b/c of current stealing conditions…just not fair to the rest of us who would leave some for the next fellow SS'er! Thanks for all you do for all of us, Jenny!

      • Lucy

I completely agree. Today ALL of the peelies from the strawberries ($1 off when you buy reddy whip) were removed. ALL of them.

My Publix doesn't do anything with peelies, but they take the blinkies and tape them to the products.

    • gablondy

Just bought my 3 bottles of CoffeeMate for $0.60 total. I could not find the Green Advantage Magazine at my Publix, so I opted out of the Midol. Thanks for all of the deals! :)

    • michelle

Our publix is now putting peelies, tear pads and the booklets combined together at customer service. Only one each of the tear pad type coupons, but hey, atleast I was able to get some coupons today! Publix rocks!

    • Julie

I went to buy the Midol but the printable coupon is for 20 ct + and the box that is $3.69 is only 16 ct….anyone else have this problem? Is there another manufacture coupon that I am missing to stack with the store?

      • Amber

I honestly didn't catch that on the Midol printable. My Publix took it anyway.

      • denaSC

        They still took mine!!

    • denaSC

Flintstone gummie vitiamns are FREE plus 1.31 in overage!!Use store coupon $3 off, Manufactur $1 and walgreen $4 off!!

      • misskris

my son loves these, where did u find the $4 off wag coupon?

        • denaSC

I live in Charleston and it was in the walgreens sunday ad. You might be able to print it off their website with area code: 29456
And I made a mistake, You only get .31 overage not 1.31 overage because the publix coupon is only $2 off. GOOD LUCK

          • denaSC

I got the flintstone gummies free just Tuesday and then today publix told me they could no longer take walgreens coupons. They also said they no longer would stack the three coupons, just two( competitor and manufacter) This really messed up my day:(

    • Lucy

There is one more coupon for Quaker Chewy Bars – it's $1/1 from those Quaker oatmeal boxes.

Buy 2 Quaker chewy bars $2.99 (BOGO)
      use 2 $1/1
      Pay $0.99 for TWO BOXES

      • colleenneel

MIne from the oatmeal box is for $1/2. I didn't know they would be different. Bummer for me.

    • Lucy

Oh, almost forgot – didn't see it posted anywhere on the website
There is a $1 off any Pampers wipes in Publix Future Friendly Booklet
wipes are on sale for $2.65 this week, combine the $1 coupon with $0.50 coupon (from some recent insert) and get a box of wipes for $1.15

    • mom2kyleegrace

I've only gone to Publix about 3 times. Tonight the cashier told me they accepted expired coupons that are only 4-5 days old….HOWEVER, this will change May 1st. They also will no long accept other store coupons from drug stores or dollar stores.

She said it will have to be a Super Target, Walmart….somewhere that has a pharmacy, food…ect.

Just thought I'd let you guys know!!!

    • Shannon

Oh how I wish I could have foud that “One stop one store” booklet

    • Michelle

There is a $1 off Charmin in the PG coupon book from a while back which has a “Pampers” cover and is about the size of a checkbook. There is also a couple of $1 off Charmin and Bounty in the new PG coupon book called ” A year of savings” with the Olymics logo on the front.

    • deborahelaine

there is a q for 1$/2 for northland juice on their website if you sign up for emails

    • Marina115

Funny Story: I went to Publix for my weekly shopping trip and I was so excited to see 2 big stacks of the Greenwise magazines so I could get a couple cheap packages of cookies. Well I grabbed two and flipped them over, and of course someone had ripped the coupon out. I checked a couple more and they also had the coupon ripped out. I went through both stacks (about 30 or so) magazines and EVERY coupon was ripped out!! I guess someone really needed that many packages of cookies. I just laughed and brought them to customer service, who also just laughed and shook there heads. Who ever you are, I hope you gain 3 lbs for every cookie you eat!!! LOL

      • pickensmom4

The coupons are only in the Greenwise magazines that are mailed to your house. The ones in the stores do not have coupons in the front.

        • Marina115

Those are the Family magazines but the Greenwise magazines in the store have coupons throughout. And the spring Greenwise is the one with the cookie dough coupon that is on sale this week.

          • San

That is so wrong. People if you really don't need, notice I said need that many coupons, PLEASE STOP TAKING THEM!!!!!! That to me shows a lot of selfishness on your part. Allow others to get the deals too.

            • Kaikai

You all are crazy people. If you MUST know sometimes managers tell associates (usually costumer service) to rip out certain cupons and tape them to certain products so they can sell them more and advertise them. That I know because I've done this and I've worked there for years.

      • I wonder if Publix employees tore out the coupons because they did not want to lose money on them.

    • susan70032

I live in Louisiana and we don't have a Publix, but I always see what great deals they have. I am going to Orange Beach, AL in a few weeks and am VERY excited to see they have a Publix down the street from the condo we will be staying in!! I'll let ya know how I make out when I get back :)

    • PTL

Just left Publix, they had a new coupon book w/$15 in coupons, including Betty Crocker potatoes, and Hamburger Helper Qs. I believe the title was Spring Savings.

    • Debbie

I couldn't find the scrubbing bubbles sprayer kit on sale (georgia). Anyone else have this problem?Argh

      • marysc

I don't think it is on sale… it's 7.99 regular price. My store is out but the coupons don't expire for a while.

        • Maximus

My Publix has the Auto Shower Kit at $16.99. Am I missing something, looking at the wrong item?

          • yolandav

The item everyone is referring to is the Power Sprayer Starter, not the Auto Shower Kit. The Sprayer Starter is a bottle with “Daily Shower” on the front.

          • Suemh

I think this is the automatic spray cleaner, not the automatic shower cleaner.

    • jamie

there's a scrubbing bubbles shower kit coupon in March “All You”

    • Robyn

Did anyone mention that Arm & Hammer toothpaste is 2/$3? There is a $2.50/2 q in the 3/21 SS. You'll get two tubes of paste for 25¢ each!

      • Joe

I noticed this too and was wondering if someone had already posted it!!!!

    • Dawn

There is $1.50 off any 2 kashi frozen pizzas in the Publix “springs savings” booklet….

    • Kate

I have a question. When it says, “so and so's” booklet (store coupon)…. how do you get that??? Thanks, it would be helpful to know wher eto get these store coupons/booklets!

      • BostonMama

I meant to reply – not hit like – sorry :) You find these at the customer service desk – they have them behind the desk so that people do not take entire stacks.

      • Mine are found in the spinny rack with the regular ads or in the cardboard display racks throughout the store. But, others have to askfor them at the CS desk.

    • Suemh

I decided to do a search for Publix Coupons on Ebay, out of curiosity. I found one seller with 12 listings of (10) $3 off 2 Tombstone Pizzas. Many of the listings said that he had 2 available. I calculate that he has at least 180 of these coupons for sale right now. At 2.99 for each set of 10, thats 53.82 plus the extra 25¢ or so he makes by charging 99¢ shipping charge. This is just one seller. There are probably many more. I do not object to people selling full inserts or even clipped coupons, because at some point, someone had to pay something for them. Selling tearpad coupons is different. To me, this is selling stolen items and constitutes fraud.

      • Jennifer

Selling any coupons is just wrong to me. If you don't need them, leave them for someone who does. I find it repulsive that someone profits from anothers need to save money. Just my opinion.

      • momto2boys

        I agree with you 100%!

    • ashley4

Didn't know where else to put this: At Wal-Mart today (I only had to go there for Eggs and Tostitos) there was a great coupon! The Pelham Rd. Wal-Mart in Greenville, SC has the following : Tostitos on sale for $1.98 and then a coupon on every bag for $1 off that. Then…there's a tear pad by the Lays Potato chips for: if you buy 2 bags of Tostitos get one bag Kettle cooked chips or Rold Gold Pretzels for FREE! That's 3 bags of GOOD chips for $1.96!!

    • Robin

Printing coupons from Windows 7: having problems printing coupons from some sites. The sites basically say they don't work with Windows 7. Does anyone know a way around it?

    • Amanda

I'm confused by the price in the parenthesis by the sale price. Under that it lists the coupons and the price after coupons is based on this price. What's going on?

      • Snowski824

If it's a parenthesis beside a bogo item, and you don't live in FL, it's how much 1 item costs. If you live in FL you have to buy two items and get one free but everywhere else you essentially just pay 1/2 price.

    • SFLS

$2/2 peelie on the Townhouse Crackers, making them .995 per box. Worked with $1 off Dasani deal as well.

    • Rose

I came across an excel spreadsheet that you could put your coupon info in and now I can't find the link

    • Connie

I went to Publix the other day for the first time and I could not find any tear pads, where are they located? I even asked the Manager and he didn't know what I was talking about. I assumed they were by the products but couldn't find any. Please help!!!!!

      • These are a random thing. They are usually placed by the supplier. Often times you will find them attached to the shelf right by the item. It varies what is at which store tho.

    • Michelle in FL

Help??My Publix changes over their ads on Wednesday. I just went by the store and they are already changing over all the signs to the new ad, but i want a few items from last week's ad that ends today. Does that mean that i can not get the deals anymore or are the signs just taken down?

      • The sales are still good thru closing tonight!! AND if they are posting new sale signs they MUST honor them today!!

      • quen74

You can still get the deals. They've just started taking down the signs. My store does this too.

    • Kaikai

You all are crazy people. If you MUST know sometimes managers tell associates (usually costumer service) to rip out certain cupons and tape them to certain products so they can sell them more and advertise them. That I know because I've done this and I've worked there for years.
