    • Michelle J

*whispering* Jenny, can I please have a check box for the cake mix, pretty please? Thank you for all your hard work!

      • fixed :)

      • Morgan

I actually just laughed at your post. Thank you for making my night :)

    • Tiffany

It's Raid that's on sale right? I got confused with the combat coupon postings.

      • Lianna

I was wondering about that too. Are Raid and Combat the same brand?

        • meekoheather

As far as I know, they are not. Raid is made by SC Johnson. Combat is made by a company named Henkel. I am almost certain those coupons are not to be used on Raid. I would think though, that it would still be a good deal on Combat if the prices are comparable.

    • DonnaTN

Great week! Don't forget about the B1G1 coupon for Nabisco if you didn't use it yet. And there's also a $1 off Lays or Tostitos Target Q for Family size if that is included in the sale.

    • Mylexis

Target also has 1.00 off schick hydro, chips ahoy is also in the July All U magazine

    • Mmeans

Excited about the Bailey's creamer B1G1-use 2 Yellow Advantage-for $.55 and 2 printable $1.00 make $1.01-Yea! It did take me a gew tries to get the printable, it kept telling me I had already printed them out!

      • Mmeans

That would be a few tries….

        • Amyhillcpa

It would not let me printed on explorer, but would let me print it on mozilla.

      • JL

It is doing the same to me. How did you get them to print????

    • lauren

After what felt like a million tries I finally got enough points for the Easy Mac and the coupons state “BUY TWO GET ONE FREE any KRAFT EASY MAC CUPS” Max Value is at $1.29

      • Thanks for figuring that out for everyone. If you want to feel like it wasn't in vain take it to Target this week they are 75 cents each. :)

        • lauren

Awesome! Thanks, I was heading that way anyways for some free eggs with my tropicana :)

          • Christine

My Target has been completely out of the eggs since Monday but I keep checking. Kinda disappointing that there's no rain checks allowed.

      • Ntoxk8n

Ugh! That game was pointless (no pun intended–haha)! I got my coup, but why do they want you to work for it?! I already work hard enough for my coupons the way it is…. :)

    • Michelle J

Anybody have a good zip code for the Target John Frieda Q? Thanks!

      • Mmeans

        33566-gave me $3/2

      • lenalou

I also got it under 30012. Good luck!

    • Mmeans

There is a Milk Bone coupon for $1.00 off Essentials PLUS Biscuits or Chewy Treats, not sure if these are included in the B1G1 or not, but printed it just incase.

    • Alyson

Zip for the 50 cent Old El Paso? Thanks!

      • Alyson

Ahh Haa! Just found it myself 90210!

    • Johana

Also I noticed that Publix has the Renuzit Adjustables on sale 2/$1.69 and there is a coupon on SS 6/13 of B3G3. It is a better deal from Publix not CVS for now…I am stocking on those!!!
      Publix .85 cents each
      CVS .88 cents each

    • Johana

Addition, there is a coupon on RP 6/13 for Visine of $2 off making it $.49 cents Even better if you don't have RP 4/11 (like me!)

    • Britt

Use the $1 store coupon for the almond breeze milk along with the coupon for $1/1 Blue Diamond Almond Breeze from the 5/23/2010 SS Insert (exp 8/31/2010) and you have a halk gallon of Almond Milk for under a buck!

    • rosewood4

Ok I am a little confused with the Gatorade or G2 deal, what does the book look like that has the -$1/2 Gatorade or G2 product, 64 oz., The only Gatorade or G2 Q I see is one for $2 off Any one Gatorade 20 oz Multi pack in the Small Summertime Savings Guide and then a $1 off 2 Gatorade Recover in the Summer Savings, neither one of them expire on the 21st can someone help me? Thanks

      • ileana

It's found in Publix, has a picnic basket with watermelon on the sides. It's tittled “Summer Savings” and has “Over $35 in valuable coupons!” The coupon is on the the last page. Hope this helps.

    • DonnaChas

I can't get any of the Degree deodorant links to print.
once you click the printable link it will say “Don't Fret the Sweat” at the top—-every one on that page, whether for 1 to $1.25 or 2 for $3.00, every link has a message “No Prints available for this campaign!” …… Why would we have this saying already.! I guess I don't understand why we can't print these…anyone know?

      • God Has A Plan

this promotion has been going for a LONG time, I think they need to update their website. I know that I have printed all of these coupons for other sales, so they probably just reached the limit. Like I said they need to update.

    • 3monkeysmom

Zip for Ben and Jerry's??? Thanks :-)

    • When I printed the Q for the Juicy Juice I got a Q for the 6 pack bottles. Did anyone else have this issue or was it just me printing something wrong?

      • robinwiser

        Same thing happened to me.

      • Del

I got the right one. My zip is 32311.

        • Melissa

Um…when you click on the coupon for the Juicy Juic Q, it does not ask for a zip.

      • erins_deals

        me too.

    • Hayley

What is the zip for the Marie's dressing coupon? Thanks!

      • Valerie

I just got it using 30003

    • In case it hasn't been mentioned, there are $3 off any Schick Disposable razor Qs that expire 6/30. They were peelies that you could find on Schick razor packages. I was actually able to find a few. These are $2.01 moneymakers if you use them on the .99 trial pack at Publix.

    • becky.e

I'm not sure where else to post this so it will be viewed. It looks like Piggly Wiggly has stopped the 10 gbx for 10 coupon program. Please consider emailing the company if you used the program. I personally, had a lot of fun using the gbx. Southern Savers has such a large following that it might make a difference. Thank you!

    • Is anyone else having trouble with the coupons.com website? For weeks now it has been telling me that I’m trying to do an illegal operation (something about a plugin) and suggests I restart Firefox. I don’t get why this is happening after months of successfully using the site. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

    • Diane

Does anyone know the zipcode for the Newman's Own dressing/Salsa? Thanks!

      • Bhflood

try 31419. It will say .50 off any newmans product.

      • Megan

I couldn't find it either, but if you go to the Newman's Own website, there is a .50/1 along with several others. I was able to print 2 with no problems!!!

    • Nmckeown

PENNY ITEM is Publix Vanilla Wafers

    • Mom2teenagers

There was a Nature's Own coupon flyer in the 6/13 Charlotte Observer for $0.75/1. The same flyer was in the paper a few weeks ago. They all expire in September.
That makes for some cheap bread this week.

    • when I click the link for the Campbell's soup it immediately goes to a page that says, “We are sorry. You do not qualify for this offer.” How do I not qualify for this offer? How do I QUALIFY for this offer. Went to the website and signed up, and there are no offers for Campbell's. ???????

      • DonnaTN

It did that for me too, I just went to their website campbell kitchen, you know the rest..(if i put it it will take a while to come up) and you can find it there!

        • Pdjlb5

Thanks! Went to the website and got 2 coupons!

    • Kendra_lue

I have a question. I have a peelie coupons that says Free 1/2 gallon of Milk when you buy 2 packages of Oreos. Can I use it with the B1G1 Nabisco cookis (if Oreos are B1G1) and then I also have the Buy 1 nabisco cookies, 1 gallon of milk and 1 any other size milk get a 2nd package of cookies free. Can I use Both of these if the cookies are B1G1 ?

      • DonnaTN

I think it's possible for you to use all 3 because the free milk ties to the milk (and since you are buying the milk with the nabisco coupon) and the b1g1 nabisco ties to 1 cookie then your other coupon would tie to the other cookie, should only have you paying for the any other size milk only and get the 2 cookies and 1/2 gal free. HTH. If I'm wrong, someone correct me..

        • CP

I think you are correct, however my Publix would not let me do a similar deal last week with the Nilla wafers (I had $1 off milk wyb one Nabisco cookie). I would just ask when you get there… but I am almost certain the Oreos are NOT in the B1G1.

          • DonnaTN

Well I guess it depends on your Publix, so I would just ask. But if the coupon just says Nabisco cookies, then she could buy the Chips Ahoy instead of the oreos…If it's a cookie, my husband will eat it..lol as long as it is chocolate or has chocolate!!

      • I have that tearpad Q,, as well. I used it last week and bought
1 gallon milk, used the tearpad store Q-2.50 off & a $1 WYB gallon milk & cookies=.-.21 cents overage
        1 quart Horizon milk, -.75 store Q=3.24
        2 Oreos @ 2.99 each-The Facebook Q & a $1/1 Golden Oreos Q=1.99

    • Savshopper

Need to start buying baby food. Is .34 a jar a good price?

      • Rashelle

I find it cheaper to make my own, it's really easy and I feel better about it, if you have a good farmer's market you can make tons of fruit and veggies for a fraction of the cost of store bought baby food and you have the peace of mind of knowing exactly what's in it.

        • Kristy

I agree, Rashelle, I made my own, too. It is So much cheaper, and very easy! Plus, you can give such a variety! I understand working moms are busy and may not be able to do this, but give it a try at least on weekends! I would puree my veggies and then freeze them in icecube trays…just freeze them all in a ziploc bag, and in the morning, I would take the frozen cubes out that I would need for the day and they would be thawed by meal time. A great alternative to jarred food!

          • dianecatherine

That's exactly what I did for my second baby, Kristy! Wish I would have done it for the first, too. Inexpensive, easy, and rewarding!

          • carrie

I know to anyone who is an experienced cook, this is going to be a very dumb question. But what did all my teachers say, “No question is dumb.” and “If you have the question then someone else in the class has the same question.”? Anyway, I digress – what do you puree the food in? If I used my blender everytime that would be a lot of cleanup. Also do you mix water in with the food? If so what are the proportions? Thanks.

            • Becky

I have a stick blender that I used a LOT bc cleanup is so easy, but I also used a food mill a good bit, too, especially for softer foods. I used my food processor some – making a lot at a time & freezing helps bc you don't have to do the clean up as often, but my child wouldn't eat food that had been frozen & thawed, so I didn't do much of that.

        • Bonnie_ensminger

It is very easy to make your own, but I do buy a few when it goes on sale very cheap. Things like mangoes are difficult / time consuming to make into baby food, off-season fruits are expensive to make your own, and some things like carrots and dark greens are not recommended to make your own because of safety issues. Everything else is fair game!

      • Rebekah

i would say so. i buy it to donate at Harvest Hope Food Bank. I usually end up getting a jar for about .42 at kroger that is beechnut so yeah .34 is a good price for use.

      • erins_deals

        Yes, especially for organic!

      • SSheila

I have found that my baby likes earth's best brand more than the others. It seems to taste a little better. We also make a ton of our own baby food. It is very easy if you have a blender or food processor! And yes, that is an excellent price for organic!

      • Kat

Anyone know if there is a limit to how many jars they will let you get at the BOGO price?

        • Snowski824

It depends on your store. My store has a limit of 8 for BOGO items.

      • Anonymous

Yep, .34 cents for a size 2 jar is a great price especially for an organic jar that started as .99 cents!! You’re getting it 66% off it’s regular price. You can feel great about that.

Using the $1off 7 jars coupon from Earth’s Best.com, you can print the coupon 3 times from one computer.

Buy 21 jars. Normal price would be $21.
At Publix’s BOGO price you pay $10.50.
Minus your $3 in coupons would make it 7.50.

$7.50 for 21 jars of organic baby food. You’ve just gotten 13 jars for free. That’s a GREAT deal in my organic book. :o)

    • Kaylajjb

There is a Target q for $1 off Tostitos.

    • DonnaTN

There is also a $1 off peelies on the Tostitos chip bags so if your publix takes Target Q too, that's a bag for .49!!

      • Heather

Is there a Target coupon? I haven't seen one yet.

    • Kelly

Does anyone know the zip for the pop tarts? Thanks!

    • Littlepanchuk

The Starbucks coffee-free ice cream is included in the bogo deal at my Publix, and my coupon was for $1.50/1. That makes $0.39 each!

    • SSheila

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a little help here. I never ever purchase soda and now I need to purchase a lot for my son's birthday party in a couple weeks. If you are a regular soda purchaser, let me know where the best deals on cans are. I'll probably do some searching around too, but I thought I'd ask here first!
      Thank you so much!

      • Ash

It kind of depends on what brand you want. Pepsi brand soda products go on sale more in the Southeast than Coca-Cola products because people in the south tend to be pretty brand loyal to Coke products. However, having said that, the best deal I've seen on Coke products is at Walmart (I know, I know, nobody wants to go to Walmart). They've had 24 packs on sale for about $5 each…one week they had them for $4 for a 24 pack, which is by far the cheapest I've ever seen them (in terms of a per can price). Hope this helps!

        • SSheila

Thanks Ash! That is so helpful!!

      • irisfaith

Fortunately, we are mostly weaned off of soda but when I do buy it, my 'buy price' is $2.22 for a 12 pk. Usually happens at Kroger or CVS. Sometimes Publix will have B3G1 12 pks when they are already on sale too. If you can hit around $2.50 per 12 pk I'd say you'll be doing great.

      • My local Rite Aid has Pepsi products on sale for 4/$10. I had 2 in ad coupons for $1 off and 1 $1 off video reward coupons for Dr.Pepper. I paid $7 for 4 12 packs ($1.75 each). :) HTH

    • Valerie

Anyone know what the mystery item is? Trying to decide whether or not to go bug my neighbor for her coupon before heading out.

      • SSheila

        Publix Vanilla Wafers!

    • Jo

has anyone found the coupon for maries salad dressing? What zip code?

    • alivias_closet

I looked all over for the Benefiber Stick 6 ct, but couldn't find it. Anyone know where to find it?

      • Jane

        It's with the vitamins.

    • Bhflood

Anyone have a zip for the Uncle Ben's Brown Rice? Thanks!

      • K16immy

        I was wondering that too.

    • Amy

I found .70 off Publix store coupons (peelies) on some of the Kellogg's Mini Wheats boxes. These can be paired with the 1.50/3 printable, for an even better deal!

    • JL

Just came from the new Publix at Nashville West and the 6.6 oz bags of Gold Fish crakers were B1G1!!! So if you have your coupons that were .35 cents off Gold fish after Publix doubles them Goldfish were .38 cents each(if I am doing my math right). WOOHOOO!! I just saved over $80.00 at Publix. YAY!!!

    • Tlbmcguirecoupons

If you google prevacid coupon you can get up to prints on $6.00 off coupon for 14ct or 28ct and then use your $5/2 Publix coupon and save $17 on 2/14ct boxes.

      • meekoheather

Thank you! I live off this stuff, and I knew the other coupon from Parade was expired. :)

    • Rebecca

Does anyone know who the Montgomery, AL Dalraida Publix considers as competitors?

      • Mary

Hey, I am new to the coupon savings. Is it important to know who the competitors are? I just went into that Publix this morning because I had time to spare while waiting on my son. There is an Oaktree store and the Gunter Air Force Base. That is all I can think of. I really don't think those are competitive.

        • Patty

          Hi Mary,

In my area, Columbia, SC Publix does consider Fort Jackson Commissary as a competitor and accept all military coupons. At the Air Force Base, they should have coupon tearpads, fliers, etc. that are all military coupons. Check with your local Publix they may take these coupons. At mine, I use a military coupon and manufacturer coupon on one product which makes items cheap or free.

      • Tconnor

They only consider Winn Dixie a competitor. The Prattville store is the best when it comes to competitors.

      • Maddy

The Atlanta Hwy Publix in Montgomery took my Target coupons without any problem today but haven't tried any others. And were SO nice – as least the cashier I got!

    • kristifromchelsea

Simply potatoes mashed potatoes question. Has anyone ever tried to freeze these and if so did they taste good? Severl other brands of mashed potatoes in the tub can be frozen but these do not specifically say you can. Does anyone know? At $1 a tub these are cheaper and easier than homemade.

      • Jlee429

I have frozen the simply potatoes sweet potatoes and they were fine, so I bet they would be fine!!

      • I have frozen Simply Potatoes mashed potatoes and hashbrowns before. I have some in my freezer now. I just thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. Hope that helps!

      • Carla

They are really good. I do not like instant potatoes, but these are almost just like homemade.

    • Kristen

Does the GE Reveal lightbulb deal apply to the energy efficient bulbs (Reveal CFL)?

      • Snowski824

Only the normal light bulbs were marked BOGO at my store not the CFL

    • Allthatglitters2009

does anyone know where I can find the benefiber 6ct? I looked where all the other benefiber stuff is that is near the pharmacy and no luck! Thanks in advance!

      • Courtneydalton

Check over by the vitamins. There's where I found them.

      • carrie

I had found some by the vitamins but they were on clearance so there aren't anymore now.

    • Kate

Just got back from Publix, saved $67.04 and spent $58.15. John Frieda shampoo AND conditioner will be free if you use the $2.50 coupon from the John Frieda website as well as the Target coupon. I was also very excited to get Seventh Generation dish soap for .49 a bottle, and light bulbs for .24…..YaY! Thanks Jenny!

      • Ktillot

I saw your post and was so excited until I got to the register and they wouldn't take Target coups…I had another one so I just put back the conditioner…

    • Rose_lunsford

Why does the purex site send you to recycle bank??

    • michelleh

I need help my publix doesnt accept competitor coupons, manf coupons from the internet any more is this right what can i do there is no answer to why they want anymore i have a buggy full of food and they said no to everything but my newspaper coupons i had a mess please help

      • Gibblechip67

OMG which Publix are you at?

        • michelleh

          in savannah ga

          • Curvychic

Which one in Savannah? Twelve Oaks or the old Media Play?

            • joanna00

Yes, please let us know! I adore the Twelve Oaks Publix because they've been so nice about accepting all of my coupons. I'd really like to know if they've dramatically changed their policy during the past week!

          • newsaver

I'd like to know too. Has anyone else had problems shopping at the Publixes (?how does one make this word plural.. hehe) in the Savannah area??

      • Amw4905

Call the manager and explain what happened. If he agrees that they no longer accept internet coupons call customer relations at the corporate level. Also you might add when speaking with the Manager that if you go to their coupon link it will take you to coupons.com to PRINT coupons. Good Luck.

      • carrie

I would call corporate and ask them about it.

      • michelleh

i just called corp for publix and after a hour on the phone they said its up to the store to decide about coupons but they have recieved a overwhelming amount of fake coupons from the internet publix is the only store i shop at what am i gonna do im so dissapointed

        • Maddy

I don't have any help for you myself, but I think it's sad that a few greedy and unscrupulous people are ruining it for everyone. My Publix went out of their way today (Montgomery, AL) to help me get the most out of my coupons – took every one of them. But they are worried about all the fake coupons and people trying to cheat. I wish everyone would realize what a good thing we have now and PLAY BY THE RULES.

      • FrugalMama006

It does depend on the store and its strictly up to the manager's discretion. A few years ago my Publix stopped taking internet coupons for a while but they reinstated it back into their coupon policy. They had been hit with alot of fake internet coupons, too! Just imagine what they must feel when it comes to losing money due to SOME peoples lack of morals……Its just like walking into a store and using counterfeit money. We all lose in the end. Maybe they will reinstate it back after a while, keep checking back with them and just go to another Publix in your area that does accept them.

    • Kendra_lue

So If I am using a Target Q on a B1G1 can I use 2 of them anong with 2 manufacturers Q? I have noticed that on Publix store Q they put that you can only use one in a single transation is it the same thing for Target Q?

      • anna

u can use all 4 q's you are allowed a mq and a store or competitor q per item.

    • Jennysr624

The juicy juice printable coupon does not apply because it is for the 6 pack not the 64 oz. :(

      • Newsaver

I was able to get it. Maybe it's only for new members??

        • JuicyMom

yes, new members, and then every so often after that

      • carrie

Go to publix dot com and click on the “weekly ads” tab at the top of the page. There may be an area where you can enter your zip for the particular ad in your area (can't remember). I go there all the time so I have a better idea on prices. The prices Jenny posts are lower most of the time than what I pay (makes me wish I lived where she lives). Hope that helps.

      • Elizabeth

You have to wait until Thursday to be able to access the one from Publix.com.

    • Crystal

So you can use a competititor coupon AND a manufacturer coupon at the same time?

      • carrie

Does anyone know if I can use two of the same Publix coupon in the same transaction? I would buy two items, but I'm a little confused on how to interpret “limit one deal per coupon per customer” at the bottom of the coupon.

      • Emmycat

Yes, you can. “I deal per coupon” means one item per coupon (if it's a coupon for a single item). So, if you have 2 coupons, you can buy 2 items.

Just as a further example, if you had a coupon for $1 off 2 items, and you had 2 copies of the coupon, you would need to buy 4 items in order to use them both.

    • melanie

The printable for $1 Starbucks Ice Cream is actually $1 off two. Bummer.

    • Ktillot

I am a first time coupon shopper today and spent $8.63 and saved $51.69! So thankful for this site and friends to help me understand it=) My Publix didn't take Target coupons though…bummer!!!

      • FrugalMama006

WOW! Way to go first time couponer! You are already shopping like a pro….
        Happy Savings…..

    • Lynz

I can not locate the Target John Frieda Coupon on Target using zipcode 33566!

    • Trimblej

Does anyone know what competitor coupons the Cartersville store in GA accepts? Target? Harvey's??

      • Stephanie

They take Target and Food Lion I know.

      • Kathy

They told me last week , no more Food Lion..

    • Thehovites

Purex says I've already printed coupon number of times allowed when I haven't even printed the coupon at all on the second “printable”. The first one sends me to some recyclable center too.

    • Carla

I am confused about a few coupons. The first is the printable Old El Paso is only .60 off two. Can't find one for .50 off one. And the other is the Schick razor coupon from 6/13. In my paper it was $4 off not $5. Anyone else notice this?

      • I tried a different zip code and found the 50 cent El Paso Q. Not sure what onetho…

      • Snellmom

        it works for 90210

        • Emilytwinmom

Thanks for posting that, I couldn't find it with no zip or mine, but 90210 worked!!

    • Emmycat

Does Publix double competitor coupons 50 cents or lower? After my last trip to Publix, I noticed that my Kroger coupons had not been doubled.

Perhaps this is a rule I'm not aware of. I'm certainly happy they take competitor coupons in the first place! But I try to closely predict my grocery costs, and I'm also curious about this now . . . Anyone out there know the general rule on this?

      • Amber

competitor and store coupons are not doubled, Only manufacture coupons 50 cents and lower are doubled. Also Cellfire and Shortcuts do not double. HTH!

      • Jehs1982

They only double MANUFACTURE coupons…which means that they do not double competitor or store coupons …hth

    • Jmholley

my publix doubles man coupons, but not competitor copns. hey can anyone tell me the coupon policy for the new publix at gulf shores, we're going sat and doing our shopping.

    • colleen

cannot find the GE coup for 1.50 off on target coups-anyone else having difficulty?

    • 3monkeysmom

Okay…so I had my first frustrating experience at Publix today :-) Was told I can only use 1 competitor coupon per *like* item. I was *trying* to buy 3 Eggo Waffles and 2 Scrubbing Bubbles Extend a Clean using Target q's and 3 Ben and Jerry's with Whole Foods q's.
The cashier was really nice about it, but said that's been the rule since Target starting putting “one coupon per offer” or something to that effect on their coupons, which she said has been a long while……but I have never had this problem before, and I've definitely used more than one competitor q for *like* items before. I'm quite sure I do it almost every time I shop there, which is once a week!!
If that's the rule, that's absolutely fine with me b/c I'm extremely thankful and appreciative that they even accept competitor coupons. That's a courtesy they don't have to provide.
But what I would like to see is consistence among the cashiers. It makes it hard to plan out your transaction, especially if you are trying to stick to a budget, when the rules change, or if the rule is there but only a handful of employees stick to them.
My cashier was so sweet and let me do another transaction, which she said they aren't supposed to do, so I could use my other coupons but it held the line up a bit and I felt kinda bad for the people behind me….but I really wasn't expecting all the confusion :-)

      • Snowski824

I printed a target coupon the other day and it said Limit 2 per transaction since their website lets you print two coupons. I would ask your customer service or manager next time you go to Publix.

      • Marina115

I used 2 target coupons on the eggo waffles yesterday and didn't have a problem. That cashier just created more work for herself by doing another transaction. But you're right it's very confusing. A couple weeks ago my store refused to take target as a competitor and this week they are. It's frustrating, I usually just ask for the manager in those kind of situations.

        • 3monkeysmom

I probably would have spoken to a manager about it but I was in a rush b/c I had other places to go and was trying to get back in time to make dinner before church…..I also had a frustrating coupon experience at Target that day too…rough day for me!!
But as for Publix, I have shopped at that location for well over a year and a half and have NEVER heard this rule before. If that's the rule, that's fine but you woud think it would common knowledge :-)

    • sealey5

Ok I just want to make sure that my #'s are correct here with what the B1G1 is:

Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt or Starbucks Coffee Ice Cream, 1 pt., at $3.79 ($1.89)
-$1/2 Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, or Sorbet, 1 pt, RP 6/06
-$1.50/2 Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, RP 4/25 (Target Coupon)
-$1.25 off Starbucks Coffee-Free Ice Cream, pint, RP 5/23 (makes it 64¢)
-$1 off Starbucks Ice Cream printable

I have (14) $1.50 off (1) q's. If I use 2q's toward each B1G1 deal, and use all 14q's will my total amount be $5.53? I just want to make sure i'm doing this right. Thank you!

      • looks right.

        • sealey5

Yes! I love having lots of q's! I got 14 pints of Starbucks ice-cream in assorted vareties and it was around $5! Whoo hoo my freezer is HAPPY!!! :)

    • meekoheather

There were $1 off coupons for the Cat's Pride Cat litter on a sheet of coupons I got @ Publix for donating to Children's Miracle Network.

    • At my Publix I was told that if an item is BOGO that I can only use one coupon since the other one is free but I was able to use my cereal coupon for $1/2. I am new to the couponing and feeling a little confused. Help

      • Are you in Florida?

      • I have never had a problem using 2, and I am in Florida. Ask at your CS desk or ask the actual Manager.

      • Never had a problem using 2 coupons with BOGO…in Alabama.

      • kate

My publix also won't let me use two coupons on a BOGO. I've tried it a number of times and the manager says no. I'm in GA.

      • Amber

this usually only happens in FL and southern GA

      • Ntoxk8n

I'm in Jax, FL and my Publix lets me do it.

      • Jenn

The Publix's in Alpharetta, GA let you use two coupons for BOGO items. That's how I get the best deals, since I'm a newbie and haven't figured out the CVS/Rite-Aid rewards programs yet. :)

    • I just found that I have 1.50/1 Starbucks ice cream coupons!!! WOO HOO!! Two for 79 cents is awesome!!

    • Does Publix take Walgreens manufactures coupons? I am having problems with my Publix in Flowery Branch, GA?

    • Does Publix accept Walgreens Manufacturers Coupons? Mine in Flowery Branch, GA is giving me fits about this.

      • Ours here in Birmingham doesn't accept any competitor coupons from stores that don't have a deli department.

      • Supersaver715

My Publix does not accept Walgreens coupons on grocery items. They will take them in the pharmacy on medicine though.

      • Cherise

Mine used to take them but said that they don't get reimbursed for them even though they start with the number 5 and SAY Manufacturer Coupon on them. Need to get a letter from PG and UniLever saying that they will give money if other stores take them. Let me know what you find. :)

      • Suzanne

Mine does not take Walgreens as they are not a grocery store. They only recently started taking Target at my Publix (last year or so) because of the new SuperTargets in the area, that sell groceries.

      • Danielle

The Publix on East Brainerd Rd. in Chattanooga, TN took one on the Listerine yesterday. However, they are right next door to each other and I'm not sure if my cashier really knew what was going on (it wasn't her regular job).

      • Lil Wen

Publix in Savannah, GA on Abercorn accepts any and all competitor coupons, including drug stores. I actually had the cashier ask me last time why I didn't go out to the internet and “print some of those Rite-Aid $xx off of $xx”. Very funny and encouraging. I have also asked the customer service desk more than once @ their coupon policy. Every time the person tells me they accept every store you can think of. I hope they don't change!

        • Newsaver

The Twelve Oaks Publix or the one near Largo drive (old media play)?

      • Amber

That would be a no in Dallas, GA, and the Walgreens is about 500 feet from the Publix store:(

      • Ntoxk8n

Jacksonville Publix are funny. My store closest to me doesn't accept Walgreens manu coups but 5 miles down the road the other Publix does!

    • Supersaver715

The Nature's Own bread was not BOGO when I went to Jacksonville Publix today…was planning to stock up.. FYI – maybe each city is different? Most of the other stuff was. :)

    • Amy

Can I use the B1B1 and the .50 off one if I buy 2 soft scrubs?

      • Amy

        That would be B1G1 :)

        • Suzanne

    • Ginger

I am having a lot of trouble getting the baileys creamer coupon and a couple of others when I try to print them it says I have already printed the amount allowed but I have never printed one for them I never even heard of it until this weeks sale it did the same thing one time before on puppy chow and I had never printed it either !!!!!!!

      • Karen

Many times this “already printed the number of times allowed” message simply means that the coupon has been printed the number times allowed by the manufacturer. Not that YOU personally printed them. It's very ambiguous, isn't it?

    • guest

Does anyone know if the sale price + coupons for ziploc bag this week are a great deal or should I hold onto my coupons? Same question for the energizer batteries with the in-ad coupon and manu coupon. I would appreciate the help…thanks!

      • Rebeccauwf

You need to go to Target for the Ziploc.

      • guest

Definitely go to Target same price as Publix but you can use a Target coupon and manuf. coupon.

    • Peaceout0511

On your blog a few days ago I saw $1/1 whole foods coupon for Ben & Jerry's ice cream and other Ben & Jerry's printable coupons too now the are gone… WHAT HAPPENED?!!!!?

      • 3monkeysmom

I printed these a couple of months ago…not sure how long Whole Foods coupons stay on their site.

    • Patty

Anyone heard if Publix is limiting the # of BOGO deals you can buy? This was the week it was supposed to start.

    • md

Does Dryel ever go on sale or are there coupons for it? I love the product but it's $10.

      • Tammy

I got this for 2.49 at Walgreens last night on clearance. Dryel.com has a pdf coupon for 2.00 off exp 12/31/10..

    • AHH

Many of the coupons links are not working for me this week

    • Donna

I just found a Target coupon for the Tostitos chips $1.00 off. That makes each bag $1.49.

      • Thehouseofcollums

Check the EXP date! I had 3 of those and they expired on the 15th! :( Family's coming to town and I was thinking CHEAP nachoes for dinner! Oh well.

        • Donna

I just got mine they expire 7/17 try again maybe you can still have those nachoes!!

    • Tawf99

I'm new to couponing and I have to say a little frustrated that my Publix is sold out of many of the items that are a great deal. And this is by 10:30 am on the day the sale starts. They were out of schick hydro shave gel, did not even appear to have any schick razors, no cutter insect repellant, I got the last El paso dinner kit. Exactly how early do I have to get there? I have this problem at CVS as well.

      • Crystal

The sale lasts a week, I find it easier to wait till maybe Sunday to go and usually everything is in stock. My Publix was also out of the razors and the gel—go figure. I think they know us SS people have coupons to make them free and just dont stock the shelfs.

      • CP

I'm with Crystal- I think they are hesitant to stock the shelves on free or really cheap items. I can say that getting a raincheck is a really good idea. I have done it many times and sometimes it is to my advantage. For example, a few weeks ago when the Chobani yogurt was on sale I got a raincheck and then last week Publix put out a Chobani store coupon that wasn't there during the sale. The only catch is that they MUST be used within 30 days. So although I know it is super frustrating not to find what you are looking for, at least you have another chance to get it once it is restocked.

        • Christinaelizabeth

I was so excited yesterday when I went to Publix. It was the first time EVER that I went in there and the shelves were stocked with EVERYTHING that was on my list. I couldn't believe it. I was really hesitant going in there because I had a lot of SUPER good deal coupons and figured they would all be gone. ie: Eggos!!! But I was able to walk out with everything I had on my list! It was a great day!

      • Amber

that is frustrating, but you can always get rainchecks on the items that are on BOGO. The problem with the razors and shaving gel is that they are in the advantage buy ad, and you can't get rainchecks on those….plus the shave gel sale started a week or two ago, so it's been going on for awhile already.

I love CVS deals, but I have grown tired of chasing down the deals, especially when they allow the night owls to start buying the deals after midnight on Sat. My store does a horrible job of keeping items in stock as well, so I feel your pain.

      • elizabeth

Re: rainchecks, I always ask them to write on the raincheck 'use coupons if expired' or something to that effect. Many times coupons will expire before the product is restocked, but if the customer service person has written that on them, the cashier should accept expired coupons too.

      • WynetteC

Don't feel bad, when the bikini razor deal went on sale at my local Publix, my informant/shelf attendant said that they sold out within the first hour (opened at 7am) so go figure how that looked ;o)

    • Sharon

I have a question about the Raid/Combat. The ad says Raid, but the coupons are for Combat. My store said they are not the same and wouldn't take the coupons. Does anyone know if they are indeed the same?

      • The green advantage buy coupon and the printable coupon is for Combat. It makes for overage WYB and use both coupons.

    • Damien

How come they never reload the Uncle Ben's coupon? I have not printed one in months and it still says after I sign in that I have already printed the number allowed!

    • Damien

Green Giant printable coupon is a 50/2 not a 55/2… making this a much better deal at any Publix's that double coupons!!!

    • ChristinaElizabeth

Publix on Hixson Pike in Chattanooga is the best! I have never had one problem with them. So anyone in the Chattanooga area, go to the Hixson Pike store! I was refused my first coupon yesterday….the Food Lion eggs. Could have just been the cashier I went to, but I'm not complaining because I got the following for only $6.58!!!!!

      2 Old El Paso Kits
2 Cans Cream of Mushroom soup
1 130 ct. Hefty Paper Plates
      1 dozen eggs
      2 Eggo Waffles
      2 Bailey's Creamer
      2 John Freida Shampoo
      2 John Freida Conditioner
      2 Dove Deoderants
1 Scrubbing Bubbles Extend a Clean
      2 Scrubbing Bubbles Vanish Tablets
      2 Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Gel
2 Scrubbing Bubbles 12 ct Refill
      1 Sargento Deli Sliced Cheese
      1 Qtips

      OOP: $6.58
      Savings: $79.74

      • FrugalMama006

Were these using competitor coupons or manufacturer coupons? Either way you got a GREAT deal! My Publix does not accept Target or Food Lion coupons because they are not within a certain mile radius of the store. But Publix is still my fav store!
        Happy Savings!

        • Christinaelizabeth

Yes, they were mostly stacking Target with Manufacturer coupons. Too bad yours doesnt take Target!! My store will take any grocery store in the Chattanooga area!

          • Mblake

My Publix store would not take a Target coupon because it said 'store coupon' (i.e. Ego frozen waffles). They told me if it says 'manufacturer' they will take it but not the store coupon. I'm in the Atlanta area so I maybe it's a store by store thing.

      • Melissa L.

        My store, too. Love them!

      • CP

Any chance you could list some of the coupons you used?

      • Saeweardsmith

Could you tell me what coupons you used for the Scrubbing Bubbles products?

        • Christinaelizabeth

I found B1G1 coupons for all those products (except the Extend a clean) on coupons.com a couple of weeks ago. Then saw on Target’s website they had B1G1 coupons. Made all those items FREE!

    • nor

I just found a new coupon booklet at Publix – Smart Savings (beige, full size pages) with $75 worth of new coupons!

    • Migdalia

For the Keebler TownHouse crackers that are BOGO, there's a tearpad right above the display to save $2 on any deli meat or cheese when you purchase any ONE package of keebler townhouse flatbread crisps cracker. Do I have to buy an entire pound of meat or cheese or can I simply buy $2 worth? Thanks!

      • CP

You can just buy $2 worth. And it counts for the prepackaged meats/ cheeses as well.

    • Heather

Can someone help me with the Prevacid pricing. The pricing shows $9.99 but it was priced $11.99 at my store in Irmo, SC? It is the same product listed. I asked the Publix employee if they have different pricing at different stores and she said she did not know. Where do yall get the prices when you post them?

      Prevacid 24 hr 14ct $9.99
-$5/2 Benefiber, or Prevacid Products Green Adv. Buy Flyer (store coupon)
      -$6 off Prevacid 24HR product, 14 or 28 ct., Parade, 5/09
(use both makes it $1.49 ea)

      • Newsaver

Every store is different. If you go to publix's website you can see the prices based on your zip code.

        • Heather

    • Klyazejian

The Nature's Own Bread was not B1G1 it was 2 for $3…still not a bad deal.

    • Mommy2brynley

does anyone know if lexington sc publix takes target coupons?

      • kaseyshadow

I was told by the cashier no only if they had manufacture on them. She called the manager when I said that the one in Harbison did. He told her that yes they took them. Found it interesting she didn't question the food lion store q. If they tell you no, ask for the manager. They were super nice:)

        • meekoheather

Wow, I always thought they did not take Target coupons. I remember once a cashier handing me back a MQ printed from the Target website and telling me they didn't take them, but when I explained to her it was a MQ, she was fine and took it. I will have to check next time I am in there. If so, I am so excited, as I really don't like the way a few of the cashiers at Target are about the coupons. Publix has always been great.

    • Jenni

FYI on the Luzianne tea bags…I had purchased 4 boxes last time they went on sale. They had $1/1 coupons printed inside on the box. So the teabags will be .14 if you have those coupons.

      • staceyb

        For the 48 ct. right?

    • micheline

Okay, just got back from my shopping trip@Publixand just an FYI the Degree deoderant/Antiperspirant deal does NOT include the 3oz.body mist, came up full price for each.Amazing to me how many people stop and stare at me with my coupon binder, lol. It's as if I grew three heads or something, lol.”Wow you're hardcore”they say.I said nope I'm just smart.lol.

    • shavonm

Just came back from my Publix and picked up a new sheet of coupons. On the top it says save up to $27with the coupon offers available. Has a green banner on the side and says Stock up & save now. It looks to be about 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. Has 19 great coupons on it. It also says in fine print May not be used in conjunction with any other coupons- so I'm thinking that you can't stack these.. any thoughts. Have you seen these yet? I'm in Holiday, Florida.

      • Amber

I'm in GA and haven't seen that one yet. Is it similar to the green advantage flier?

        • shavonm

Not like the green advantage at all. It's just a sheet of coupons on the nice glossy paper. Pantene, head and shoulders, free pampers wipes w/purchase of cruisers just to name a few of the coupons.

          • Amber

Good to know. Sounds like maybe a P&G promo? I will be on the lookout. Thanks for the heads up.

            • shavonm

Now that you mention that, it does say 2010 P&G on the bottom. Too bad, it would make for some awesome deals. I've only been couponing for a month now so that is something to keep in mind when I am matching things up. Thanks!

            • Amber

if these are manf. coupons, your store may still allow you to stack with Publix coupons. My store in GA has no problem doing this even when the coupon says “not to be combined with any other coupon.”

        • Chrissy Warrilow

Hi Amber, I live in midtown Atlanta – I spotted these coupons at the Publix on Collier Road (just off of Howell Mill). I'm not sure which part of GA you are from, but I just wanted to let you and other Peach State dwellers know that they are here!

      • Spaceycasie

Found them in SW FL too! Also a new grilling booklet. They are store Q's because they have LU#'s instead of barcodes so you CAN use them with MQ's

    • Amber

Great trip today. Got the free ant killer and 2 free John Frieda products using Target coupon for $3/2 and two 2.50/1 printables from the John Frieda site. Also got a pint of blueberries free using the Publix coupon Jenny posted earlier today.

I used my Tropicana rewards coupon for a free carton, and the cashier tried to give me a hard time. Luckily there was a special print on the back of the coupon, so she knew it wasn't a true internet printable. I told her it was mailed to me as part of the rewards program, and that they would probably be seeing more of these in the future.

    • Keyrahollmer

I cant find the old elpaso 50/1 coupon, can anyone give me a zip for it?

      • miatd

90210 hope this helps…i just printed two

        • Keyrahollmer

Thank you so much too!!! I also wanted tell everyone that I found a 50/1 coupon tearpad for vitamin water at cvs on the front of the cooler doors (manufactures coupon). Be on the look out! This will make them free at publix this week!

      • Suzanne

        • Ntoxk8n

          Worked for me! Thanks!

        • Keyrahollmer

          Thank you so much!!

        • D&T's Mom

Sorry, but I have to say that's a funny zip! Like people in Beverly Hills are actively couponing – hahaha!

    • gail0921

At some publix stores there are coupons for buy 2 cheetos get one free so be on the look out for these as I got 3 bags for $4.00

    • jmcnure5

So a friend told me about SouthernSavers.com yesterday and last night I spent approx 3 hours reading and just printing online coupons as I have not yet purchased a Sunday paper. I went to Publix today and saved $81!!!!!! I spent $101 and saved $81. So for my very first time I am so excited! Can’t wait to get my system laid out!

    • Crystal

I got 6 pints of Starbucks Icecream, 1 pint of Blueberries, and 2 Schick Hydro Razors today all for $7!

    • Ntoxk8n

Fyi, the renuzit coup is in my redplum 6/13 not smartsource.

      • lauren

        Awesome! I thought I didn't get it, thanks :)

    • Christy

Has anyone else had problems with SmartSource? I followed all the instructions in trouble shooting and they won't print! The site sends them to my printer, my print icon pops up and shows it in my print queue for about 2 seconds but never actually makes my printer active. I'm so frustrated, I want my coupons! Help!

      • It's been doing that to me recently as well. Used to work tho….

      • Valerie

We switched from using firefox and internet explorer to Chrome (google's new browser). Anyway, I have found that many of the coupon sites will not print using Chrome! Don't know if that is your problem, but maybe someone else was having trouble as well.

    • Shannon

I live in Columbia and am having a difficult time finding in store coupon dispensers in Publix. For instance, I was trying to find one for Fresh Express that was listed on this week's Publix info and it doesn't exist. I asked CS and they had no idea either. Also, is the only way to get the Publix magazines to have it mailed to you? I signed up for a subscription but would like to get my hands on them now rather than later.

      • Signing up is best, as they often include extra Q's, but each quarter when they are newly printed they are often found in the store. In the same advertisement rack, as the ad.

      • CP

There is a lady in Columbia teaching coupon classes… she tells her students to make their rounds in the store and get as many blinkies as they can. She also encourages bringing your children and having them do the same as well as taking peelies. Might be part of the lack of in-store coupon dispensers.

        • Shannon

Oh that's just great. What a jerk. I would love to put up rude signs on the dispensers, targeting people like this. Of course, management would take them down and people like this woman would probably not even notice it. Who is this woman?

          • CP

I don't know who she is. But I have one better than that… I have acutally witnessed a lady disassembling the dispenser to steal the coupons out. And at first I thought I was seeing things, so I followed her to the next aisle. And she did it again. I am not one to get in other peoples business, but I went to CS to complain, and the lady sarcastically said back: 'It's impossible to steal a free coupon. What do you want me to do, call the police?' Needless to say, that Publix no longer gets my money. I will never understand how people work…

            • Shannon

              What a jerk!

            • ireneY

Unbelievable! I would be just bold enough to ask if she wouldn't mind leaving one for me.

            • SmilingApple

You don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable, but I have to ask. What store was she doing this in? Sometimes when you are using coupons I feel like they are over watching you. Maybe it is because of these types of weird things.

            • Missjwomble

Smart Source is an outside company that hires people to fill and and refill and changes those machines. My mom and sister both work for them and they are often told to take the coupons out before they ever expire. They look like normal people and do nto have a uniform or anything. It could very well be they weren't stealing them, but doing their job.

            • Missjwomble

Wouldn't taking a blinkie ahead of time be like taking Publix booklets ahead of time?

        • D&T's Mom

There is such a thing as “coupon etiquette”. If you know the teacher of the classes, you might want to let her know that her suggestion isn't considerate to other couponers.

it was the best week ever. Albertson had $2 off Fresh pork. and buy 1 get two deals in St. Louis Spare Ribs and Pork Loins. The petite sirloin they did not carry. I had Listerine 2 for 9 but came with free little bottles. I got springless that were in sale and use coupons. Total savings $151.50. I spend $87.50. Love this website

    • Debbie B.

Has anyone in the Lexington, SC area tried to use Register Rewards at Publix? I just spoke with a manager and she said they do not accept them. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck. If so, which one in the area accepts them?

    • Ptogroup

Killer day at Publix, got to love this store. Used some rainchecks and this weeks sales, spent OOP $83, saved $182. That is my record to date!!! Keebler Town House Flatbread Crisps are BOGO at my Publix in Central Fl.There is a tearpad with this product for $2.00 off Publix deli package meats. In Central Fl, there is a BOYO on Publix deli packaged meats, so it was free ham for this household. Also the Gatorade has a tag around the bottle's neck that read buy 10 get 5 free. I had the Publix buy 2 for a $1.00. Gatorade is on sale for $1.00 each so it cost 50 cents each, plus I got 5 free when I purchased 10. Happy Happy day!!!

Has anyone had a problem with internet coupons not doubling, and on the receipt saying bonus coupon surpressed? Happened to me this morning at Publix with green giant and el paso coupons :(

      • couponbug

I think on the Green Giant coupon, it stated “DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE.”

        • Crystal

It should not matter, Publix will double any manufacturer coupon. Likely it was the cashiers fault by entering it as a competitor coupon, which does not double. This happened to me once and I called the store and they assured me it was a mistake and I went back and got the difference off my coupons that didnt double. Maybe it was a new cashier.

          • CP

It's not true that Publix will double any manu coupon. It varies from store to store. Of the three in my area, two will not double any coupon that says 'Do not double or triple' at the top. The cashiers supress the button prior to scanning the coupon. So yes, Summerville, it happens all the time to me.

            • Summerville shopper

              Thanks a bunch!

            • jewel

              Valdosta, GA doesn't double

    • Okajanet

Did anyone else find that the Duncan location in SC does not accept Target (store) coupons? I thought I used some last week but no go this week. I was disappointed!

      • Moorejn2

They wouldn't take mine either said it had target had to be more than 5 miles from publix

      • Valerie

Wouldn't take Target but at least they will take Food Lion… they always have store coupons floating around and I do NOT want to shop at FL!

    • Bigmomma

For those of you wondering why the in store dispensers are empty in the NE side of Columbia a lot – there is a woman who is “teaching” coupon classes and she says she lets her children walk the store specifically pulling copupons and then after the trip is doen they go back through to pull more. She also says that she takes the “peelies” off packaging but limits herself to 4!!!! So if you are wondering why you cannot find them its because of peoplelike that (who then tech others to be like them) that have no respect for the rest of us who have courtesy toward other couponers…..

      • Kkbrobst

Wow! how RUDE! I hated when I went to Publix on Sunday once and saw peelies on Kashi for $1 off and I knew they were on sale for a steal too. I go shopping on mondays so I thought I woudl grab them tomorrow (the Monday) and when I went in the Kashi meals were in the freezer still but no more peelies on them! I was furious! Hubby doesn't give me my money til Monday and I am in church all day on Sunday when I am not napping so no shopping on Sunday. (unless it is for that last minute thing I needed so we stop in after church real quick)

    • Sharon

I just went to my Publix (Jacksonville, FL) and they said they no longer take target, cvs or wallgreens coupons. The new policy started last week., however I did save bunches today…. Thanks for all you do. You have helped my family in ways you will never know.

    • DonnaTN

I did my Publix trip today, got 2 tubs of 12 oz cream cheese as long as the shick women razor for free. For those of you that have gotten the ALL YOU mag for July there is a $4 off coupon for the Quattro razors, making them free plus overage!

      • lauren

I don't think that coupon will work, it's for a regular razor and the Schick razors that are BOGO are disposable

        • DonnaTN

If I can remember the coupon said “Quattro for women” razor, and that's the kind I got.

    • DonnaTN

also forgot to mention the knorr sides were stll .69 so if you still have those they expire today. It confused me though because it had b1g1 on the sign but it said save .69, so the signage threw me off but still a great deal on them and it is still the same as b1g1 anyways.

    • 3monkeysmom

I found a blinkie for BOGO International Delight creamer…pair with 55 cents off store q and pay 69 cents for both :-)

      • 3monkeysmom

Sweeter deal….just found a 55 cents off 1 from their website, making it 14 cents for both :-)

    • Tiffkearney

Just want to say a very big THANK YOU to all the good people on this site (including the admins)…you all have helped me SO MUCH since I joined the site 3 weeks ago. I have saved on average $60 – $70 each week on my grocery bill, and I think that it is really wonderful how people comment back and forth and have a true sense of just wanting to help out one another. Very inspirational…and I look forward to being able to give tips myself soon!! :) God bless you all!

    • Donna

I am new to all of this. Can anyone tell me if I can use a CVS ECB at Publix? Thanks!

      • Amber

My Publix does not accept anything from drug stores but that doesn't mean yours won't. Good luck

    • Amber

Just got home from getting more free blueberries and 50 cent raspberries…so good. Thanks so much for posting that coupon, Jenny! I love Publix's At Season's Peak site, but I had not had time to visit it lately.

I also got 2 of the Bailey's coffee creamers from the cold dairy section on BOGO…..very good. The French vanilla is my favorite. $1/1 man. coupon + 0.55/1 yellow advantage coupon, making them free plus overage. The overage on the creamers paid for my raspberries:) Thank you Jenny for all you do.

    • laurelc

i was trying to print the purex Q. after spending a lot of time signing up and searching for the Q (under rewards – home- household cleaning, 2nd page) it now says that the $1 off purex natural elements Q will be mailed to me. unless you love that detergent, don't waste your time on a Q that you can't use this week anyway.

I'm new to this, and I was looking on smartsource for the Schick coupons, I can't find them, doesn't SS mean smart source? since it said 6/13, does that mean I had to print it on that date?

      • guest

They weren't in all of the papers, only certain cities. If you go to weekly inserts you can find your city and find the coupons that were in your paper.

        • guest

Also SS 6/13 means the Smart Source that was in the Sunday newspaper on June 13th. If it was on the smartsource website there would be a link.

    • MyBoxoRox

Reposting here because no one replied after I posted this under last weeks ad. Hoping someone can help me out. Thanks! :)

I have a question I've intended to ask for a while now! Why does it seem that sometimes a coupon is listed next to a product, as if you can use it for that product, but it's not exactly the same thing? For example, a while back CVS had a deal on Dove Deodorants. There were several coupons listed next to it, but the largest dollar amount off was for Dove Ultimate Deodorant. However, the sale wasn't on the Ultimate line.

This week at Publix, I need Glad trash bags and Palmolive Dish Detergent. Can the coupon for Palmolive Pure+Clear or Pure+Caring Dish Liquid be used when buying the Palmolive Ultra? Can the Glad ForceFlex Trash Bags coupon be used on non-ForceFlex trash bags? I want to make sure I'm being ethical in my coupon use. Thanks!

      • Amyhillcpa

Sometimes the coupons listed don't always match the product, just read and use your own judgment. I personally would not use the coupons in your two above scenarios.

    • SFLS

Fisher Fushions are on sale $2/2 at my Publix. With the SS 6/20 -$1 nfg coupon makes 'em free! Great as salad toppings.

    • Mistletoes405

Chips Ahoy cookies were BOGO for $3.85 at my Publix in Smyrna, GA when I went yesterday. There is a $1/1 coupon in the July All You for Chips Ahoy with Reeses cups or Heath. That makes them $.93!

    • Potterharrymom

There's a Nabisco coupon for $1.00 in the July All You making the cookies .84 each if you have 2. I always get 2 All You for the BOGO deals.

there is a site jenny recommends as well……thecouponclippers.com where you can order coupons as well if the deal is worth it….hope this helps..i have used them before

      • Amber

yes, SS is SmartSource, meaning the actual newspaper insert. Remember inserts are regional, so just because it was listed does not mean that your local paper actually had the Schick coupons in your SmartSource insert for that week. I have also not seen any high dollar Schick coupons that were internet printables.

      • Dianne

SS 6/13 means it was in the Smart Source insert in the newspapers on June 13.

    • Rebevil

I just had my first experience last night where the cashier didn't double my Old El Paso coupons because they said do not double or triple..i asked her if it was a new publix policy since no cashier had ever done that before there and she just said that the other cashiers were just not being careful checking their coupons like she was….anyone have this experience?

      • Pat

I would check beyond her, it should be a store thing not a personal cashier thing. If the whole store has stopped doubling then fine, but for her to just make that assumption is wrong. Definately ask a manager if their policy has changed.

        • April_sweeney

I've had some cashiers at Publix not double a coupon that says “do not double”. They have to manually stop it from doubling. Those are the cashiers that always scrutinize every coupon and double check to make sure that I bought the item too. Others double everything.

    • Stephanie

Just found a new coupon booklet at my Orlando Publix.. titled Smart Savings, over $75 in savings. Theres a mixture of manf. coupons and store coupons. Looks pretty good!

      • KashLea1

Thanks for sharing, I will have to check my Orlando store!

    • Tammy

Why is it that stores take the buy 1 get 1 free signs down the day before the next sale starts? This is very frustrating.Today at Publix I had to ask about the Seventh Generation dish detergent that was buy 1 get 1 free which I ended up paying only 50cents for since I had a coupon. But if I hadn't asked….and 3 weeks ago I had trouble shopping at BI-LO because they had taken all of their signs down… They ended up having to show me the cereal that was supposed to be buy1 get1 free.

    • Tammypridmore

Oh…and by the way I had a coupon to buy 3 Renuzit air fresheners and get three free, and only 85 cents came off all 6.I didn't realize this until I was on the way home so I have to go back tomorrow….uuggggg!

    • Leah

Just got home from this week's Publix run…Earlier today I transferred a prescription to Publix from Riteaid and used a Riteaid coupon for a $25 giftcard when you transfer a prescription. Publix will honor those transfer prescription pharmacy coupons from other pharmacies. I paid $4 something for the prescription (which I needed anyways) and got a $25 Publix giftcard back!! So I went this evening to use my giftcard. My total came up to $27.25 with tax, used my $25 giftcard, so it was $2.25 out of pocket. Total savings that printed on my receipt was $72.17. Man I love those prescription coupons!!

      • Leah

Oh yeah…if you live the the Birmingham area, the Publix at Lee Branch off Hwy. 280 takes Target coupons and Walgreens Register Rewards! They'll only let you use one Register Rewards at a time, but that's okay with me!

    • andieoh

Today is the last day of the 6/17-23 sale for me. I have 2 publix coupons and 2 Cabot coupons for their cheese. Can I apply all 4 coupons to the “buy 2 for $4.00” offer? I am very new to this fun game of couponing :D.

    • Nightfairy151

Hey I've posted this a few times and no one has responded to me, I really need some help here, I'm new to this, and I was looking on smartsource for the Schick coupons, I can't find them, doesn't SS mean smart source? since it said 6/13, does that mean I had to print it on that date?

the $5 off schick hydro razor was a regional coupon and was not in all inserts. I know the AJC inserts did have the coupon

      • Christie

When it says 6/13 SS, it means that you can find the coupon in the the 6/13 Sunday paper in the Smartsource insert. Not all inserts are identical. Sometimes there are coupons that may be in some regions SS and not others. But, for the most part, they are about the same. If it was a printable coupon, there would have been a link listed on the blog for you to print from. Hope that helps!
