I have really been dissapointed in publix latley… =(

      • rebecca

        I agree :(

      • kwsmom

I think this ad is the worst I've seen in a while!

        • Handygirl5

I started couponing last oct. and was hoping these slow ads we've been having were just a summer thing-I hope publix has not decided to offer less sale/ad items as a general rule! They were the main reason I was able to STOP shopping at Walmart.

          • Alicia

Is it just me or are the 6-8 week cycles NOT coming back around on many things? I've only been doing this about 8 weeks and I am having to buy stuff at Walmart again b/c the many of the items I buy are not coming back on sale at all.

      • Jarrodbryson

    • Kimboone123

      Thank you!

    • Mikeandmarcieblack

fyi-the facebook q for bogo nabisco cookies wyb milk worked for me the last time the multi packs were on sale. i think you just have to pay a little extra to cover the cost over what the coupon value is ($4?).

    • not such a good one this week….

    • Chelshataysam

Can't get to the $1/2 coupon for Boston Market….is anyone else having the same problem and can anyone direct to the right place to get this coupon? Thank you.

    • Stephaniekohls1

The Green Advantage Buy Listerine coupon expires July 2, 2010…. Is there a new one out?

      • There is one that came out July 3rd.

      • Silent E

According to my Publix in Helena, AL, they take Publix only coupons for up to a month after they have expired!

    • ashley

looks like I'll be shopping @ BiLo again this week…whats up w/ Publix lately?

    • 2Cor12_9

Thank you so much! Just wanted to let you know that there is a Kashi Q on earthfare's site and also the propel Q link has expired. Thanks again for this printable list!! Love it!!

    • Bjessa

What ad do I find theSmart Balance Omega Peanut Butter?

      • Sherri

I would like to know as well….

        • Angela

          Me too.

          • Free2qpon

It's in their yellow flyer, Advantage Buy.

            • JJ

Which page? I don't see a Smart Balance coupon in the Yellow Advantage Buy. Only the ad listing it as $2.50. Thanks.

    • meg

I can't seem to get the $1 Yoplait q, it takes me to a .50c q. Any suggestions?

      • amber

        it will double to $1

      • meekoheather

They double coupons, so it is essentially the same thing anyway.

        • meg

          Florida does not double.

    • Stacy Hill

I have some coupons for the Emerald Nuts Product that are $1 off (makes them free with the advantage buy). I know they came from the red plumb insert from the last couple of months. How do you keep track of which insert they came from? Also, the Barilla Plus Multigrain Pasta printable says I have reached my limit, but I haven't printed any. Did I miss something?

      • moneysaved4disney

I think some ppl do not cut out their coups, but just stick the date on the front of the insert and refer to them as needed.

        • Deana

that’s exactly how I do it ~ and I’m sure many of us do ~

I use a 3 ring binder, and sheet protectors. The inserts go inside the sheets, front facing, with the date in big black sharpie. Multiple inserts will fit in one sheet.

Now I just need a bigger 3 ring binder :)

      • They came from that same RP 6/27. It was a regional price difference by paper. I added it to the list though, Thanks!

    • susan

i agree, its not much of a sale ad….maybe publix is “hurting” from the economy too?? i still heart publix!!!

      • Guest

Everyone hurting form the economy. Less people are buying food at the stores today.

    • Gilli001

The publix in Huntsville, AL does not take competitor's coupons unless they are a supermarket (deli and all) so alot of these aren't good deals :(

In Athens as well…..my shopping days at Publix have REALLY SLOWED since they stopped taking drug store coupons as competitors. There are a few great deals that we pick up there but our shopping has majorly dropped there (as we can shop at the commissary). If Publix was out of my way, I may not even have a reason to shop there but they are about 1/2 mile from my house so I do pick up the mostly free or nearly free and sometimes the b1g1 deals. But when they did take the drug store coupons, it was GREAT.

The glass plus cleaner is taking me to the Lysol site but I do not see a coupon for glass plus. Anyone else have this issue or am I just totally missing something?

      • Melly

I had the problem too. I googled Glass Plus and got the right page. Here you go… http://offers.e-centives.com/registration/col.cfm?type=portal&id=8F2D58B1-8C52-4C38-9FEE-97F362699C9B&hp=1

      • Snjunk

Me too! I cannot find a glass plus coupon.

        • Sh0ptildr

          same here!

          • Medanielle1

I got the glass plus coupon from that site about a month ago. They may not have it anymore

        • Melanie

When you go to the site, click on “surface care” tab and the glass plus q is there.

      • Diane

When I printed it yesterday it was under “Surface Care”

      • KK

Click on the tab that says Surface Cleaner.

      • Susan

    • Carla C

You showed us a site one day last week where you could print tons of coupons. I got a coupon for $1 off the Pillsbury Easy Frost. I hope others got this as well. Just wanted to let you know it is out there. This makes it only $.50 each!

    • Laura

Question, has anyone ever heard of this type of doubling before? I was shopping at Piggly Wiggly in Bluff Park on yesterday, The Pig doubles coupons up to 99¢ (big signs all over the store) that means 99¢+ 99¢ = $1.98 savings right! Wrong, I had a 75¢ coupon off 2 Ball Park Franks which were on sale for 99¢ a package. The store took off and additional 24¢ for the two. The manager explanation was if you have a coupon that you must purchase multiple products i.e. two packages it will only double up to the price for the first item that being 99¢ in this transaction. So then my question was if I had a coupon for 50¢ off three cereal boxes and they were on sale for 75¢ each, how much would the coupon double for? He said according to the manufacture your coupon can not double for more than the price of the first item, with the cereal that means I can only have 75¢ off not $1.00 off three boxes. This was a first for me.

      • I live in Hoover, and go to Church in BP – I didn't know the Pig doubled up to .99. I'll have to check them out (but clearly not with a $on2 coupon!) Thanks for the information!

    • Carol

My husband got coke tonight at the Kennerly Crossing Publix…Bought two cases, got two free.

    • JJ

question, Is it allowed to use 2 $1/2 coupons for two items ? Or should I one $1/2 per two items ?

      • Dianne

You can only use one $1/2 per two items.

    • kermnelmo

I think it's a week off from Publix for me… I'll be hitting up the farmer's market to get some veggies to freeze instead. ;o)

Can't find the $2 Target printable for Purina One. Am I missing something?

      • Medanielle1

I saw it on there Sunday night.

        • Dona

I just printed it used zip 32765. There are 2, one is a manu coupon and the other is a Target coupon.

      • AH

It's there. Use zip code 90210 and look under pet.

    • Alabamagarretts

Looks like the printable Propel coupon is expired

    • Tania

Wow, this looks like a slow week. Good thing I'm stocked up! I wish it was better since I am teaching 2 friends how to coupon tonight…oh well! I wish we had a Bi-Lo or a Kroger in our area!

      • mommydub

I think it's great that you are sharing your coupon knowledge with your friends! When I first started couponing back in February, I think I only bought 3 things and used 3 coupons on my first trip. It might be good to start them out slowly. It can be a little overwhelming at times! Good luck with the lesson! :)

      • ToddDu

Do CVS instead (if in your area). Go to headsortails (dot)sobe (dot) com and play the game. I am winning every day which is good for two B1G1 coupons. Hit 2 CVS today and got 20 Sobe for $0.45 tax

      • I have to agree, very slow week.

    • Theresa

Having a hard time finding the Target coupon for Huggies Swim Diapers. Anyone else struggling?

      • Valitalynn

        i don't see it, either.

      • Medanielle1

I don't think it is there anymore. It was on there for about a month and the last couple of times I have printed Target coupons it hasn't been there for me to print.

      • shellito1012

Yes, it doesn't show for me either :-(

      • I believe they are gone now. I printed one on 6/30 that expired that day, so I would say that they are done and over with.

    • Karen

There is a .50/1 coupon for the Keebler cookies at Dollar General, and it's a manufacturer coupon which scans just fine at Bi-Lo. Just pick up a few sheets of the DG at the front of one of their stores and then get some .44 packs of Keebler cookies at Publix!

      • Karen in TN

Oh, man! Sorry! Just realized that it was last month’s coupon sheet at DG. I actually used an expired coupon at Bi-Lo last week! I never do that! Eek!

I'm wondering if we can even use these Q's for Kashi items. Although pdf's, they have a notation on the side saying good only at earth fare stores.

      • shellito1012

That would be considered a competitor coupon for my Publix and I am quite sure they would take it as such.

      • Littlepanchuk

I haven't printed this coupon in a while, but when I did, it was a store coupon. The good news is that many stores will take it as a competitor coupon.

      • Peachypeach

We don't have an Earth Fare in the area so it's not considered a competitor.

    • Medanielle1

My publix in Mt Pleasant had a Samuel Adams sponsored Q that was $1 off any Samuel Adams OR a steak!! They did not expire until the end of July. They were with the Aprons simple meals ingredients. Can't wait to stock up on some nice steaks!

On a bad note though, my publix told me they are no longer accepting video rewards coupons from Rite Aid. The cashier stopped me and I asked for a manager who told me this. There are 2 other publix's within reasonable driving distance from me so I will try those :)

      • shellito1012

It may be a trend….my Publix will no longer take any drug store coupons of any kind as competitor. They take Target and competing grocery stores in the area. It is amazing allthe changes that have taken place in our store since it opened a little over a year ago. Still great deals on some stuff though…

    • Medanielle1

there is also a blinkie coupon for $1 off smart balance peanut butter making it 50 cents after coupons!

I saw the blinkie machine in both Harris Teeter and Publix for the past month or so.

      • jessie

Were you able to find the in ad coupon? I never could spot it. Thanks!

    • katie.greenvillesaver

Hey everyone…this is off topic, but does anyone know where we can mail expired coupons? I know that military families can use them up to 6 months after the expiration dates but does anyone have a specific address? I have a TON of coupons that I could send each month.

      • Jilljova77

Thry this website- This is the one Colin posted about on hip2save before.

        • Ash

Thanks for this information, I did not know this! I was just about to go through my coupons and throw out the expired ones, so I'll mail them to military families instead. How wonderful!

      • Yes… I have been mailing expired coupons for quite a while now. There are several Southern Savers members who send their expired coupons to me as well.

Visit http://www.ocpnet.org This website will give you detailed information and instructions about your expired coupons! Thank you for your willingness to give back!

        • katie.greenvillesaver

Thanks for the site, everyone! Oh yes, I definitely like to send them off to military families. I figure…heck, I’m clipping them anyway…and if I don’t end up using them, well, maybe someone else can! All for the price of a stamp! :) I like passing on a little Coupon Karma. :)

      • Neviah

Where did you find Target q? I didn't see it online this week or in my mailer…

        • Nevi'ah

Nevermind. I found it online. I had just missed it before.

      • JJ

Not for the size on sale. The target coupon is for 100 oz or larger. 50 oz is the size on sale.

I just wanted to let you know that you can use a formula check, a man. coupon, a publix coupon, AND a compet. coupon on the same can of formula. My son is off formula, but I did this several times and got amazing deals on formula. The checks are not considered man. coupons! Hope that helps you out!

I don't know anyone who has a baby and don't know what to do with all the baby q's in the paper. Sometimes Similac sends me checks as well which is weird since my youngest is 8! Anyone wants them, let me know!

        • Deana

lol ~ I still get little sample cans of enfamil formula every now and then ~ and my youngest is 7 1/2.

I also still get the checks ~
If I can't find someone that can use the formula, I donate it to the local food bank. (they NEED it) I wonder if they can use the q's as well?? Worth asking about ~

      • Anonymous

I also have tons that will not use. Sam’s Club (Members Mark) is the exact same stuff with double the quantity for same price. toddduquette@hotmail.com with your mailing address and I will send. Or any others here that want them….

      • colleen

Did you get free cases of simliac, or any other kind of formula through your pediatrician when the babies were born? The rep will send them directly to your house. Also if you look up the phone numbers to the companies that sell the generics, like parents choice for walmart, they will send you a $5 coupon each month, for each child, (which makes inexpensive formula even more reasonable). The company that makes the Parents choice seems to make a lot of the other stores brands too, you just have to ask which stores they make formula for in your area, they just don't flat out tell you. Also, are you a member of your local twins group? if so, mine had a swap table each month, and other people would post on the board when they were giving them away. i was just supplementing with twins, and this is what saved me! Also sometimes the formula is in the clearance section at PUBLIX, I would use all those combined methods to buy it.

      • moneysaved4disney

I just wnated to share that I think the costco kirkland formula very well may actually be similac, in a costco can of course. they are the EXACT same texture and color. if you compare the appearance of enfamil to similac, you notice a big difference. just a theory, but the costco stuff is like $20 for 2 BIG cans. I can't imagine with FDA regulations that they go to the trouble of making their own formula. When I used to work at Bilo in highschool the deli donuts were krispy kremes brought in everyday and the bilo sugar was really dixie crystal. just thought you might be interested. :)

        • guest

i actually buy the costco brand formula and it says on the package “comparable to enfamil” for the yellow can and “comparable to enfamil gentle-ease” for the purple can. my daughter is very picky and would not drink the simlac, but she drinks this just fine! good luck!

      • Jbush27

If I had some I would give you them. I always get emfamil Q's.

    • Andip2u

I get a mailer of coupons from Target and inside are a couple for this week – $1C for 64oz Ocean Spray (which combined with b1g1 makes it $1 for a bottle) and a $.50 for bleach which is on sale for 3/5.

    • JEB

Is there a new Similac FLIP? this one expired June 30. Thanks!

I posted this elsewhere, but I know this is a popular thread, so… Anyone know of any Huggies Pull Ups qs? I have Huggies diaper qs and didn't know if they work for Pull Ups, too. Hoping to stack with the Food Lion q. Thanks for any help!

      • Anonymous

        Check their website…www.huggies.com

      • Jenngamble

You can print a $2 Pull-up coupon at http://www.pull-ups.com/na/pullups_coupons.aspx . You will have to register and it is limited to 1 coupon per month, per computer, per account.

        • happymom

Thanks! Paired with the Food Lion q that makes $3.50 off! Appreciate it, Jenngamble!

      • ToddDu

Not sure where I can get your address, maybe you can email Jenny and she will act as go between, but I always clip pull-ups even though we are past that and 2 years away from getting to it again….Will be happy to mail you anything I get

      • Amy

I haven't had a problem using Huggies Diaper coupons for pullups, as long as it doesn't say a specific type of diaper on the coupon. So, if it says Huggies cruisers, they might not take it, but if it says “any diapers” or just plain diapers, they will take it. Yay!

    • Lacey E

Does Publix double competitor coupons too?

      • CarolinaGirl80

        No they dont

      • Jessie

None of the ones that I shop at do.

      • The mom

        Not in Florida.

    • Tammyla

Can anyone help me with why the Barilla Multigrain Pasta coupon will not print? It keeps telling me i have already printed the coupon, but i have not printed it???

      • Deana

same here ~ but I do remember printing this one out a few weeks ago ~ so I guess it hasn't reset yet. (it was the last time they were bogo @ publix)

    • Kathleen

If your store accepts Dollar General as a competitor, they have a summer saving booklet with a $0.75/1 Breyers Ice Cream carton coupon.
This would make the ice cream $2.75 for both.

    • CarolinaGirl80

The Ocean Spray Blueberry Juice drinks are not included in the BOGO sale. =(

      • Mandykayhall

They were at my store. Huh!

      • Mine had some that were included, but I had to look for it. The one I got that was included is no sugar added 100% Juice Cranberry and Blueberry. There were some other types of OS Blueberry on the shelf just below (that were $3.79 rather than $3.99) that weren't included. Could be that your store was out of that particualar variety? I didn't find what I needed on the end cap with the other BOGO juice, I had to look on the regular aisle. Might not hurt to ask about it if you're back there.

      • Michelle

        The blueberry/cranberry conbo ones are

About the new Kraft Sandwich Shop Mayo- it is free, but every bottle at my Publix (Lexington) expired the first week of August. Didn't realize it until I got home with three different kinds. No way we will eat all three before they run out. This is one you might want to go ahead and use, rather than just adding to your stockpile.

      • JJ

They don't have a long shelf life I called kraft about this.

        • Momof4

          what did they say?

      • kaseyshadow

Do you know who the Lexington pulbix considers competetiors? One Manger told me they accepted target Q's and then another told me they didn't.

        • mommaof2

Same question for me. Got 2 different answers from 2 diff managers

          • kaseyshadow

When I called yesterday they told me that they do not consider Target a competetor. I also called Harbison and they told me the same thing. I think the one in Harbison is crazy. They are in the same shopping center as Target!

      • Heidi

Mine too. I did notice while I was there, so I only got 2 bottles because of it.

        • Sherri

Mine expired in September and I bought two but like you said, had to put those in frig instead of on the shelf for later. But at least it is sandwich season! Love the new Chipotle one – hubby likes it! :)

      • Susan

Same here. Didn't notice until I got home. We'll have to use them fast.

    • FranB

I live in South Florida and at the Publix where I shop (and others in the area) does not require that you purchase 2 items to use the $ off 2 coupons. What I will say is that they do not accept Target coupons. I have emailed Publix several times about it and they don't recognize Target as a competitor and therefore will not accept their coupons. In my opinion that's a mistake, but I think unless there is an overwhelming response to it they will not change their policy.

      • Lisanyh

I live in Panama city,FL and they do accept Target , kmart and dollar General as competitors,as long as the stores are within the city you re in.

      • Cemberz2112

The Publix in Huntsville, AL will accept Target coupons as well

      • I live in SW Florida and they do take Target, and from my conversations with corporate it is entirely up to your individual store who is a competitor.

I've never heard of any store allowing you to use a $x/2 coupon on just one item because that would be against the manufacturer's policy and therefore would risk the store not allowing them to receive the money back (unless it's a Publix coupon than that's a different story). Out of curiosity, did someone specifically say it or are you going off the fact that the computer let's you?

      • The mom

I too live in Florida and all of the Publix's in my area take Target copons. They are a competitor. It basically lies up to the store manager to make the decision as to what coupons they will take. Sounds like you have a bone to pick with your Publix store manager!

        • Hender328

It might have to do if your Target is a Superstore or a regular store. I am from Mobile and we have one of both kinds of Targets. In the Auburn/Opelika area we just have the one Target that is a regular one.

      • I live in southeast FL and we can not use Target Q's at any of the local stores. Maybe if we had a Super Target, they might… As for $/2, just because the computer/register allows it, does not mean that you should be using it that way. Publix' system is not as detailed as others and it is often up to you to be coupon correct.

      • Brooke

I’m in S Florida too, and every store I ask about which competitors’ coupons they will take, I get “Winn-Dixie, Albertson’s, Walmart”…. First of all there aren’t even any Albertson’s within 20 miles of me, and Walmart DOES NOT ISSUE COUPONS! I really wish they’d start taking Target already…

    • Kerrie

My Publix (Trussville, Alabama) has Rotel BOGO this week.

      • Teri

        Mine, too! Chattanooga TN

    • Ash

Since when did Publix stop taking expired coupons? I make it a point to try and never use expired coupons (have only done so once before) but this one only expired yesterday. The cashier was very nice about it when I asked him about their policy but then the lady behind me in line starting yapping her mouth at me “why would they take an expired coupon, that's like trying to pay with an expired credit card, blah, blah, blah…” Um, not quite the same concept but thanks for trying. I told her to my knowledge they used to take them if it was only within a day or so and she just glared at me. Wow…what happened to people minding their own business? It was the very last coupon he came to (and I didn't have that many anyway) and I didn't even ask him to take off the item that the coupon was for so it isn't like I was holding her up. I found her input incredibly out of line and harsh….couponing isn't just a hobby for me, it's a necessity during hard financial times for my family and I try so hard to be polite and follow the rules (which is hard when they are so inconsistent, but that's another topic). So I will never again try to use an expired coupon, even if it's just by a day! I still love Publix though.

      • Nevi'ah

Umm, Ash, why are you letting the comments of someone who was having a bad moment keep you from doing what you need to do for your family? Why, as a society, is okay for us to be impatient with others when they are transacting business? If your Publix takes/took expired coupons, then you have nothing to feel bad about. And you never know, the next cashier might just take that coupon that expired the day before. : )

      • Silent E

My Publix still does, during the week the coupon expires (they send all their coupons in to the manu's on Saturdays) and Publix coupons up to a month later. I always stop by customer service if I'm planning to use expired coupons that day, so if a cashier questions it (and they have), I can say “I just talked to ________ and they said you guys still take them.” As for people behind me, they can get over it! I've done my fair share of patient waiting on the elderly, infirm, and just plain slow people long enough to merit someone having to wait on me once in a while. We are not breaking rules, trying to sneak something in, or trying to get something for nothing. We are doing hard work to save as much as we can for our families, and everyone else can just wait, or bite me! ;)

      • Memoriesnmore

some people are so rude! chin up!!! We are all here for you!

      • The mom

I am a cashier at Publix and that is one steadfast rule the company has about not accepting expired coupons. Silent E you are only part right about the coupon sending days. We do not send the Publix coupons in to anyone. They stay in house and as far as the manufacturer coupons they are tallied up by each day and dated. They all have to be within the date they were received. They are sent to corporate on Saturdays but are dated each day appropriately.

      • LoriMama

Ash … my Publix DOES take expired Qs. They take them if they expire in the Sunday to Saturday cycle. They also take them if they did not have the product when you needed to buy it. They will usually give you a raincheck to “protect” the Q although if you don't have the raincheck, all you have to do is swing by the service desk and get the Q OK'd. I think there is an article somewhere on this sight about Qs and how they are processed etc. It's rather interesting and once you read it, you understand that the expiration date is really not that important to the store (considering the time it takes to send to corporate, then to the processing center and then to the actual company – this process can be over 6 months). Keep using the expired Qs as long as you are within that store's policies and if whoever is behind you is bothered by it, smile and hand over the .50 total for your shopping bill!!! That will definitely get their goat!!

I got two or three coupons from an in-store dispenser a few weeks back. I wonder if that is what she is meant to say instead of an in-ad coupon.

    • Carla

Does anyone know how to print the $2.00 off Purina Dog Food coupon? When I go to the link it only gives me a $1.00 off. And the $2.00 off listed from SS 6/27 was not in my paper ;(

      • kimana517

        Ditto what Carla said. =o/

    • My Publix (Hoover, Alabama) had Lloyd's BBQ in the cold case right by the front door marked BOGO (I couldn't find it in the ad – maybe I just overlooked it, or perhaps they overstocked and wanted to get rid of it) Anyway – I picked up two because I had two .75 coupons. When it rang up – it didn't ring up BOGO but at the regular price of $5.49. The cashier checked the price and got the manager to come and fix it. He rang it up as $2.50, took one of the .75 coupons, gave me the other one back and didn't charge me for the second package – I guess because it was a register error. SO – two Lloyd's BBQ's for $1.75 – and I still have one of my .75 coupons to go back and get another. That made my slow publix week a little better. I think the Lloyd's coupons were in the 6/27 inserts – but I can't remember which one.

Did anyone find the $1 off Smart Balance PB?

      • Gidget

I did. It was in one of those little coupon machines on the shelf by the PB a few weeks ago.

    • ToddDu

I have $.50/1 of Cottonelle fushable wipes, think it was VocalPoint mailer with some tissues. Sorry I can't be more specific

    • Sue

I am new to Southern Savers and would like to make a request (not Publix specific) and do not know where to post it. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

I have rescued two senior horse mares. There is currently a coupon for a free 50 lb. bag of Purina Strategy Healthy Edge available when you sign up at http://www.purinadifference.com. My girls would LOVE to have a couple of those coupons.

      Again, thank you.
      Sue, FL

How do we get the coupons to you?

      • Kelhyder

Let me know how I can get some to you also:)

There’s a $1 off coupon for the Birds Eye Viola (BOGO this week) on coupons.com using zipcode 23320. woo hoo!

    • Cindyl

I don't like the Tornados B1G1 Llink- you must allow them to have access to your personal information on FB to print a coupon! I don't have my photos and personal information available on FB to anyone who's not a friend and so it would be nice to know where the coupon resides b/f I go to the link.
It would be nice to have that listed near the link that it's a FB coupon.

      • Hollimac19

Its not a big deal. Think about how much time Jenny puts into this website. Come on. She doesn't have to do EVERYTHING.

      • momto2boys

My mom always said “If you don't have something nice to say don't say it at all” :)

      • ClaireTheBear

There are lots of great coupons on FB. I just set up an account for my dog using an old email address. My dog has no friends to judge what he “likes” so it's okay :D

My Publix would not honor the Target coupon for the Purina One dog food. They did tell me that they do not think of Target as a “Competitor”

      • Aahogan

My Publix (in AL) will not accept Target Qs unless they have “SuperTarget” on them. I am assuming that since the SuperTargets have a full grocery store, that is what makes Publix consider them a competitor.

    • Beth

There is a $1 off Publix coupon for the Better N Eggs, can I use one, or two even, with the Publix B1G1 and the manufacture $1/2?

    • Regina

my publix in Homestead,Fl. did not honor the target coupon for the healthy choice because they said it was not a competitor.

      • sandra

Regina, I'm in homestead also. Did you try the publix on 211/allapattah target is near there, I'm going to try.

      • Mamaberry

I have found that most will take it if it is a SUPER Target q, since they have grocery. But, NOT regular Target. Fortunately, most Target's are becoming SUPER. Now, let's just hope that they start making the Target logos Super Target logos on their q's and were good!!!

    • toni

Is anyone having problems with the 8oclock coffee q? It's telling me I have already printed it and I have not?

      • Suunshine Dennis

Even if you haven't printed before it will say that when the site has reached it's price limit.

    • Aisha Jones

Found Voila coupons on Coupons.Com under the 90210 zip code.

    • W1river

I am new to this and don't understand how to get coupons for the Brawney paper towels or the Chi-Chi's Salsa…any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

      • itismedia

If you look at where Jenny has posted the coupon she will tell you where the coupon is located. In the case of the Brawny she said – -.50/1 Brawny Paper Towels, 2 roll +, RP 6/27. This means that in most papers there was a coupon for .50 off a two roll pack in the June 27th paper. It was located in the Red Plum (RP) section. Chi-Chi's was in the May 23rd paper in the Smart Source section. Hope this helps. Jenny also has some great tutorials that help explain things.

First of all, I LOVE my Publix on Trolley Road in Summerville. Last night, though, I tried to get a rain check for Listerine because the shelf was empty. The cust. service person (manager?) insisted we walk over to the aisle and look for it, then we went back over to cust. service to try out the misc. bottles to see if any would ring up with the sale price. She finally found some that did, so I bought them. I intended to buy 2, use a Publix $1/2 coupon and 2 mfg. $1 off each coupons. She would only let me use the Publix coupon and 1 mfg. coupon. Why would that be if I bought 2?

      • Michele9775

I try to avoid that Publix because they act like the coupon police! I think other people have tried to scam them or something. They usually have everything I am looking for, but going through the check out line takes forever and I always feel terrible for the people in line behind me! Luckily I havent had to go through what you just did!

        • Fotomama1

Sometimes they are like that, but lately they have been cool. I've had them substitute products instead of the rain check-and still take the coupons. And they let you split your order up so that you can use multiple $5/$25 Rite Aid coupons. I guess it just depends on the day!

      • Danyellnorth

the only reason they shouldn't have excepted each coupon is if the total of the 3 exceeded the amount of the mouthwash.

        • Guest

again @ Dorchester Publix you can. You can have 2 manuf. coupons, and a competito. coupon or 2 man and a store coup. and still get more savings than the product is worth. Its like they owe you money but you get it as a credit off the rest of your groceries

      • Guest

I was told that the Oakbrook Publix won't let you always use double manu. coupons. HOWEVER, the Publix at the corner of Dorchester and Ashley Phospate will! Happy Saving! :)

        • Shawna

Oakbrook will double Q's .50 or lower as long as it does not say do not double on it. I have had some cashiers at that store forget to hit the suppress key so I got the double. It just depends on the cashier. I have noticed that they are reviewing Q's alot closer there. I talked to one of the mngrs and it's becuz of some of the fraudulant Q's trying to be used. He also said that some people have been trying to use expired Q's. I just take it in stride and chat w/ the cashiers and baggers. They are so nice.

      • Shawna

That's my fav Publix also. I would talk to the manager about that. She should've let u use 2 manu Q's since u were purchasing 2 products. A few weeks ago as I was checking out, one of the asst mngrs was bagging my groceries and the cashier asked him a ? about the Rite Aid coupons bcuz at the top they say manu Q but really aren't. He explained that if the # under the bar code did not have a 5 or 9 then to treat it like a comp Q. I was sooooooooo impressed and told him so. I go to him from now on w/ any questions.

    • JEB

I am on maternity leave from couponing…. so I am out of the loop.I have had to start supplementing my breastmilk with formula. What is the cheapest price that Similac big can goes for these days? Is $19.99 the best before all checks and coupons? Thanks!

      • Marinka115

My Publix had them for 17.99 a while back and drug stores have even better sales sometimes.

      • Kathy

Call the formula company and register on their web page. They'll be happy to send you copuons for formula and samples as well. When I had to supplement, I ended up not ever having to pay full price for formula.

      • Jamie

I have been using Similac Sensitive RS for 5 1/2 months now and have found that the $19.99 is about as good of a sale as you're going to find. The cheapest regular price I've found it for is Wal-Mart for $23.78. Most stores have it for $23.99. I'm pretty sure the regular Similac is about the same price as the special one I have to use. I hope you have better luck getting coupons/samples from Similac than I have. I registered with their site and have only gotten 2 $5 check/coupons and NO samples!!!

        • JEB

It was $21 something at my Target not on sale.

      • Keren

Hi JEB, not trying to get all up in your business, but just in case, I wanted to mention checking with a lactation consultant before you supplement. Obviously it's cheaper if you don't have to. ;) I thought I was going to have to supplement also, but my insurance covered a visit to a lactation consultant since our pediatrician wrote an order for it and I got lots of great info and support there. There's also alot of good info on La Leche League's website and kellymom.com. I know whatever you decide it is the best decision for you AND your baby. Congratulations momma! – Keren

        • JEB

          Thanks Keren and Amber,

My plan is to switch to Walmart brand if he is ok on regular similac. Since he is taking in more now, he is spitting more… I have met with lactation people, and talked to pediatrician. We are guessing he is only getting about 10-12 ounces from me in day, and had only gained a few ounces since birth, when I first met with LC nurses a month ago. I have pumped, used supplemental syringe tube feeder they gave me, , started taking fenugreek herb to increase milk, etc….plus I have a 4 year old to take care of….my whole day was feeding, pumping, washing parts, time to feed again cycle…exhausting. So I am happy he is getting some benefit of breastmilk, plus extra nutrients of formula. I want to do what is best for him, and if that means switching to all formula if he is not gaining enough, I will.

          • Gingiraffe

I used the Target brand with my son and he did just fine with it. Target periodically gives out coupons for their brand (in home mailers) and I have also seen peelies for them on different items in the store. I've never bought Walmart brand formula so I have no idea how the price compares, but it was nice using the Target coupons for the Target formula.

      • Amber

This may not help, but just some advice I'd like to offer. When I started formula after going back to work (with my first child), I refused to use anything, but name brand formula. Then, with baby #2, I bought Similac for a couple months and then just discussed buying generic with her pediatrician and did a LOT of online research. There is absolutely no difference in the generic and Walmart's equivalent is almost HALF the price of Similac. By no means am I trying to be intrusive, but it's definatley something to think about. I now have 4 children and they are all healthy as can be and rarely ever sick. I owe most of that to breastfeeding in the beginning, but on generic formula, they maintained their health without an issue. Good luck :o)

      • Brooke

All 3 of my cuties were raised solely on the Walmart brand of formula, and they actually spit up LESS on it than they did with the take-home samples of name-brand formulas the hospital sent home with me… They are 3,6, & 7 now and doing awesome, and I saved a heck of a lot of money! :-)

    • Tara

For those who are in the Publix Baby Club: Check your recent coupons, there was a $2/1 Flintstones coupon that can be stacked with the $1 printable. It will make one bottle around $2.24.

    • ast_226

so i'm new to this…when looking at the above list, are the coupons in red ALL the ones you use for that item or are they different ones you can use if you have them? thanks!!

      • Marinka115

The ones listed in red are all the manufacturer coupons available. You use what you have, but you can't use them all on one item. One coupon per item. HTH

    • nicki

what is the “$27 available at target” booklet? i'd appreciate help finding this one…i've been out of town for 6 weeks. :) thanks!

      • Cassidy

I got it in the mail at home!

    • Danielle Sudduth

I went to a Publix by my work today and they actually had the Kraft Sandwich Mayo in stock. The sign said $1.99 each but they were rining up at $1.00 each. I bought 6 jars and it costs 10 cents. I told the cashier that they were ringing up differently and she said dont worry about it. Now if I could just find the trail mix that has been on sale.

I asked yesterday, but I can not find my post, for the penney item my store requires a coupon. I checked the sales paper and it was not in there. Anyone know where the penny item coupon is?

      • Raygun95

You know if Publix items ring up incorrectly they usually give them to you for free. Now in my case the price came up over the price on the sign, but I guess you still got a deal. Just something to look into or keep in mind.

        • FL_Girl

The Publix Promise states that if an item rings up “more” than the advertised price you will receive one of that item free and the rest will be adjusted to the correct price. The joys of being a CSS for four years lol.

        • Danyellnorth

I work for Publix…and the only way we issue a Publix Promise (giving you the item for free) is if that item rings HIGHER than the price marked or advertised. If it rings under then you get it for that price.

      • Crissy

Hello Danielle, I live in the Greenville, SC area and here i know around here the coupons come out in the wednesday edition of the Greenville News. Hope that helps:) So it may be the same for your area. Good luck!

        • Danielle Sudduth

Thanks I will have to buy a Thursday paper and see if it is there.

          • Suemh

Isn't the penny item only available the first day of the sale?

    • Sue

If you would like to send my senior mares the Purina Strategy free bag c/o, please send me a private e-mail to rockinhorseretirement at dishmail.net with “Purina” in the subject line. I will then privately send you my snail mail address.
I can also add you to my occasional update newsletter on my girls.

Does anyone know where i could get any coupons for earthgrains bread thin buns? Publix has them bogo this week. I've searched the internet and none of the coupons are coming up or the sites are having trouble.

      • esturm1

My Bi-Lo is upstate SC has had $1/produce tearpad coupons wyb Earthgrains for quite a while now. Hope you can find one!

      • Bridget

Jana I found the coupons at a local Walmart. They were just stuck on the end of one of the freezers that are in the meat section. It wasn't even with a display of bread. I also found one at my local Publix in the produce section.

    • Cfedmonds

The nature's own bread that was on bogo at my publix was not the specialty bread that matched the coupon. So I didn't use the coupons. I see on the Friday Finals that several people did. Just curious what the rule is on that? I felt like it wouldn't be right to use the coupon for a completely different product that has a different normal price, even if the cashier takes it. Does anyone agree? I want to be ethical about using coupons.

      • Kris

You are right. I have found that quite often coupons are listed here for items the coupon was not intened for.. You have to be careful. Publix registers dont beep for coupons that are being used that dont match up to products, so some people take advantage of this and use them anyway. I am with you though in that it is wrong and it shouldnt be done. Just because a coupon is listed under an item on this site doesnt always mean it was meant to be used with that product. I have seen several comment on this, and still am unsure why these coupons are listed or why it is not removed once it is determined it wasn't intended ot be used for that product.

        • Fotomama1

Doesn't the store get reimbursed from the manufacturer anyway?

          • happymom

It's still dishonest and a big reason why cashiers have an attitude towards couponers. Just because the store gets paid (and you didn't get caught) doesn't make it right- in fact, it's fraudulent.

      • Jennifer

My Publix doesn't carry that specialty bread yet, but I just happened to come back from Kroger and they do have it on sale for B1G1 so you can use the coupon there. If you buy one, it's $1.74 before the coupon.

    • Katieclark Ga

Whole Foods has a $1 off Kashi Organic Promise coupon in their May/June/July deals booklet

    • crystalfawn

MONEY MAKER…Went to Publix and found Kellogg's Cinnabon Cereal on sale for $1.99! Here's the good part! The box had a big yellow banner that reads “Try Free after Mail in Rebate” I bought it and used a $1.00 coupon so I will end up making money on this deal even after the postage. Good deal huh??? :-)

    • Michele

For some reason, everytime I try to print the viola coupons it says I already have reached my limit. I have not printed viola coupons in months! It seems to never restock for me. Anyone else having this problem?

      • Amber

Same here, I haven't printed one of those in at least 3 months and hasn't reset :(

I am looking for a zip that Ican use to get Suave Coupons (none in my area) that are printable. Any help would be appreciated!

I will be in West Palm Beach, FL next weekend for a week. Can someone tell me the best newspaper to buy for coupons and the best place to get my groceries?

      • DeAnna

The Palm Beach Post is the best newspaper to get. (I used to get that paper when I lived in that area.) As far as shopping, I can't help you there! There are no Kroger's, so probably Publix, Walgreens, & CVS are going to be your best bet.

        • Suemh

          Thanks, DeAnna.

      • Brooke

If they have it that far up, get the Miami Herald, try to skip the Sun-Sentinel… I still haven't found the PB Post so not sure how good… And only go to Publix, not Winn-Dixie — so over-priced!

        • Suemh

Thanks for the tips. After glancing at some of the variations, I saw that the Miami Herald has most of the coupons. I am going to miss Publix doubling and stacking though.

    • Chrissy

Just wanted to let y'all know that the Publix on Collier Road in Atlanta has Whiskas 3.3 lb dry cat food marked down a dollar from $4.49 to $3.49. There are $2 off Whiskas dry cat food coupons that expire this week, so hurry in and get your cat food for $1.50!!!

    • Fotomama1

Food Lion has a $2 off Capri Sun (FLIP) the can be used. Makes them 69 cents a box near me. Also, look for bags of Eight O' Clock coffee with coupons. Mine had a label that said the coupon was inside for $1/2.

      • Ericasc3

can this capri sun coupon be used at any publix?

        • Suemh

I used it last week. I think that it expires tomorrow. If your Publix accepts competitors coupons, they should take it.

          • Amber

Same here, I'm in Brunswick, Ga and they took mine….What a bargain!!

            • lynn

like anything else you have to check. we do not have a food lion in our area so i can not use those coupons at my publix..

    • Laura

Wal-Mart's Flinstone's Children's Vitamins are $5 right now. With the coupon, I paid $4. Beats Publix sale.

      • Amber

Thanks for the tip….was gonna pick some up from Publix today….guess I'll make the dreaded trip to Walmart ;o)

    • ToddDu

Going to post in the bigger selections. I have a lot of infant formula coupons/checks that I won't be using
      10 Similac $5.00 off, earliest expiration 8/19, latest 10/18
7 Enfamil ranging from $3-5 off, all expire 7/31
5 Good Start ranging from $3-8 off, expire 8/1-9/1

email me at todd(dot)duquette(@)hotmail(dot)com if you want them

      • Cputman200

          • Cputman200

            ok I just resent.

    • Heather

Where is this coupon? It is not listed in any of the papers inserts on 4/25. I looked in mine and then went to the list of all the papers in SC, GA and FL. Is it in another insert date?

      • Heather

Oops forgot to copy the product. See below

        Eight O’Clock Coffee, 11-12 oz., at $4.99 ($2.49)
-$2/2 Eight O’Clock Coffee printable or SS 4/25 (makes it $1.49)

    • Mikenlydia

They have Gatorade 10 for $10. On the display at the front of our store, they had coupons buy 10 get 5 free. The coupons do not expire until late August.

Also, they did not have a sign out for the Natures Own BOGO. I checked our local ad and took it to the register. Of course it rang up BOGO, but be sure to pay attention and to ask if the store is wrong.

      Happy Saving!

      • Megortiz63

I had one of those coupons from a couple of weeks ago – took it to Kroger to use as part of the mega deal they have on the 32 oz Gatorades – ended up with 15 bottles for $2.50 !! What a deal!

    • RugbyOT06

I had been told on several different occasions that Publix coupons do not expire, but the cashier refused to take 2 of my Publix coupons that expired in May and June. She reported they had to expire at some point!

    • Amber

When you print some of the Harvey's Q's, it automatically prints a $2 off $6 produce Q. Makes a big difference since produce is so randomly dicounted and I buy a LOT of fresh produce.

      • Amber

P.S. if you shop at Winn Dixie occasionally, don't forget that you can use their $5 off $30 and $10 off $50 at Publix. You dont have to shop w/ WD that often for them to print (Catalina) at checkout. I'll make a point to find a couple good deals there, just to get the extra Q's so I can use them at Publix!

    • Gingiraffe

Question about the “Smart Savings” coupon book from Publix. Some coupons say they are manufacturer and some say store coupon and some say neither! But they all say “redeem at Publix”. Are the ones that say manufacturer true manufacturer or can I stack them with another? This booklet is very confusing with all the different ones! I know Rite Aid VV coupons say “Manufacturer” but are considered store, and Target prints coupons that say manufacturer that other stores will take, so I'm trying to figure out what is what here. Any help or experience using this booklet is appreciated.

      • lynn

if it has an L.U. code at the bottom it is a publix coupon, if it has a barcode it is a manuf. coupon. you can stack manf. with the l.u. coded ones. hope this helps!

        • lynn

oh i forgot to mention that if it says “redeem at publix” and has a bar code and says manuf. coupon you can use it anywhere, just like if you have a manuf. coupon that says target, cvs, etc. you can use those anywhere because they are maufacturer so they are good anywhere.

          • Gingiraffe

Thanks! I didn't know about the L.U. Same as RC for Rite Aid!

    • Rachelgreene

has anyone found the egg beater coupon in June All You magazine….it isnt in my issue what gives?

    • Jennifer

My (Alpharetta Commons) Publix doesn't carry the new Nature's Own bread that the printable coupon mentions, but I just happened to come back from Kroger and they do have it on sale for B1G1 so you can use the coupon there. If you buy one, it's $1.74 before the coupon.
