I have a manufacturer's coupon for $1.00/1 that expires 12/31/10. I am sure I picked this up at the commissary.

      • Coupacoupon

Yep – Just found it in Big John's Variations for GA – AJC – $50 off of 1 Whole Fruit bars in Red Plum 6/27 – should make it $0.99. Yay! These are so yummy.

        • Anonymous

Edy’s Fruit Bars and Whole Fruit bars are made by different company’s. Their packaging is similar, though. I made the same mistake… bummer

      • Carol James

The coupons I had for Edy's Fruit Bars came from a tearpad in Publix last month. They are $1/1 and don't expire until the end of the year.

    • Amy B.

I see several Upromise eCoupon matchups!

    • 129hutch

Is there a zip for the Contessa I should try? Thanks a bunch!

    • There’s another $1.50 off Rosetto at http://www.rosetto.com Yippee!!

    • Littlepanchuk

FYI–my Juicy Juice coupon printed as -$2.00/4. That's fine with me since I was going to print two of the -$1.00/2.

    • Trae Roberts 1

Glad to finally be able to use the store and the manu. q's for Eggo's.

    • Littlepanchuk

Also, the Truvia coupon in Green Wise is a manufacturer coupon, so it cannot be stacked with the Truvia coupon from RP 6/13.

      • Hesperides

I just noticed that :( Oh, well. It's still a good deal

    • Ccrenshaw76

It say's I have already printed the Green Giant Steamers….but it has been a long time since my last print…?????

      • CP

        Me too! Months ago…

      • Lauriescott

        Same here.

      • Jenni

Same here. They need to reset it.

    • JJ

$1 off rice krispies treats coupon is kellog cereal coupon not for treats. Can we use it to buy krispies treats ?

    • Amanda2198

YEAH! Tuesday is my new favorite night…waiting until the Publix ad pops up!

    • moneysaved4disney

I couldn't get the juicy juice or rice krispy coups to come up. Try again tomorrow. Thanks Jenny!

      • littlemama

Go again to the juicy juice site and then click up on special offers. I think it's on the bottom center is a save now button for any juicy juice item. It will give you a $2 off Q. for buying 4. Which is the same.

        • Rachel

YEA!! Thankyou so much for pointing that out, I wasn't able to find it at first. My husband and daughter will be soo happy!

        • moneysaved4disney

thanks, i will give it a whirl

    • sealey5

Hey there I just want to make sure that this is correct:

Finish Automatic Dishwasher Detergent, 20 or 32 ct., at $6.99 ($3.49)
-$1 off Finish Quantum Automatic Dishwasher Detergent printable (if included)
-.50/1 Finish Automatic Dishwasher Detergent printable (makes it $2.49)
-$2.50 off Finish Quantum 20 ct, Powerball Tabs or Gel Packs 32 ct, SS 6/27
-.40/1 Finish Dishwasher Cleaner, SS 6/27

If I use (2)q for the B1G1 will it make my total $2 for 2 items?

      • sealey5

I meant if I used the $2.50 off 1 item, sorry.

        • Afy1229

          Yes, $1 a box

          • sealey5

That's a sweet deal!!! Actually there's alot of really good deals this coming week. I can't wait to hit Publix!!! :)

      • Hesperides

Does anyone know if the Power Tabs are included?

    • annie

Edy's Whole Fruit Bars RP 6/27 $0.50/1 (AJC variation)

    • Lilliz5687

Where can I find the publix smart savings booklet?

      • Every store is different. Mine were out weeks ago and were in the spinny rack where the ads are. Others are located at the CS desk and you need to ask for it.

        • Nonki Na

Unfortunately by the time most of us hear about the booklet a “bad” couponer has already taken all of them. Sad but true. I wish they would keep them behind the counter at all publix

          • I haven’t encountered any yet that take them all. Usually I see the booklets week after week and wonder why people are so blind or dumb that they don’t realize there are coupons available if they would just pause and look! I take 2 more every week I see them, and doing this I was able to get 2 for my mom, 2 for my sis and 4 for me. each time I point them out to someone going by too and often they just walk away and don’t take any. Silly shoppers!!

    • Joysews

The coupon listed for Activia as a Publix coupon is really amanufacturer's coupon to be used at Publix. You can't stack it, can you??

      • littlemama

No, I just saw that. Darn!

    • Momof3

Does anyone know where the “in ad coupon” is for the Smart Balance Peanut butter?

      • Adamsdmd

I assume it will be in tomorrow's flyer.

      • sorry that's supposed to be in store dispenser

      • Gail

Smart Balance PB is in the All American Savings (yellow) p. 4 …2/$5.00.

    • Afy1229

Looks like the Activia Yogurt Q in the Smart Savings booklet is a man q, not a store q. Bummer, no free yogurt this week….:(

    • KFroisland

The Nabisco $55 book expired in June :)

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

ok 2 questions I have heard with the Better’n Eggs 14 oz., reg. price
B1G1 Better’n Eggs Yellow Adv. Flyer (store coupon) (exp 7/16)
-$1/2 Better’n Eggs All Whites products, RP 6/06
that this makes them free and also I read on another blog but can not remember which one that there will be a bic pencil coupon in this coming up sunday's paper which will make packs free just wondering as a science major in college pencils are my life

      • pinkandblackcrazy

it is on the i heart publix website that there will be an dollar of 2 coupon which will make 2 packs for free with two of each coupon you could get 4 for free

      • I wouldn't count on the BIC coupon this weekend. It appears to be very regionally based and so far not in any of the previews from the south.

        • Pinkandblackcrazy

ok thanks 50cents is still good i normally spend at leat 5 dollars on pencils a year

        • gaithergirl

i’m in alabama and it is in our ad.

      • The BetterNEggs deal here in FL is 2.50 each. So 2 BOGO Qs and 2 $1/1 from the Smart savings booklet and you pay $3.00 for 4 of them. Or if you have the $1/2 man. Q also, you'd pay $1 for 4. I had a 1.50/1 Kroger mailer Q so I paid $1.50 for 4.

    • The Activia coupon in the Smart Savings booklet is not a store coupon, bu a manufacturer coupon and cannot be stacked with an insert coupon.

    • sealey5

Okay so i've been hearing different ones on here say that you can use the Publix flier coupons after they expire. Is this true or should I just go to my Publix and ask them for sure?

      • Snowski824

Ask for sure, my Publix takes them for 1 week after they expire.

        • sealey5

Okay I think i'll just ask them, thank you :)

          • Nonki Na

Publix turns their coupons all in on a Sunday I have been told so any coupon that expires the week before they should take. I personally just give mine away before the expire so I haven't tried myself. A girl at work said it works for her.

      • My stores accept them as long as that LU # is still valid in the system. So it is a YMMV.

    • sealey5

and I finally got my profile pic back on here, that's nice :)

      • very cute pic :)

        • sealey5

Aw thank you :) That's me and my little man, Karson :) He's 3 1/2 months old already….how time flies!

      • Hesperides

Our last names are only one letter off :) I'm a Seeley (by marriage)!

        • sealey5

That's cool! I'm a Sealey by marriage as well. We joke around when we see the Sealy Posturpedic mattress commercial come on and act like we are the owners….(Yes it's corny, lol).

    • So excited for this ad!!!

    • Lrae17

FYI: It appears to me that the $1 off Dannon ACTIVIA Yogurt in the Publix Smart Savings Booklet is a Manufacturer's Q so CAN'T be stacked with the printable or the SS 6/06 to make it FREE. If I'm missing something, let me know. Thanks.

Thanks Jenny for all your hard work!

    • USCNicole

Does Publix do overage on coupons?

      • They do. If the product costs 80 cents but the coupon would double to $1 they give you 20 cents off everything else you are buying.

        • Bryarsmom

I have to butt in here to say it's a YMMV situation at Publix. I have several stores in the Atlanta 'burbs that have taken it upon themselves to become coupon nazis-they examine every Q and will only give the precise amount stated on the Q.
Of course, that's why I do not shop there. Vote with your feet.

          • Mrs. D

I totally agree, Bryarsmom. I also live in the Atlanta area and have one store that always gives the overage and another where only certain cashiers/managers give the overage.Even though it is sometimes frustrating, I find that the deals are truly worth the effort! I also believe in the “voting with your feet”–that’s what I do! :)

        • Anonymous

I thought that was the case, but last week I bought the Pedigree Good Bites which were around the price of 1.80ish…the coupon was for $2 off. They took the first coupon with no problem but the second one wouldn’t go thru without them adjusting the price to cost. This was the Publix on Harbison.

      • Moose32

Not all of them do…the store manager at mine WILL NOT allow overage at all. If the coupon goes over the amount of the item, they’ll adjust it so you get the item free, but no overage.

    • USCNicole

Oh and my Green Giant coupon says do not double. Does Publix double it anyways?

      • Chris

Some of the stores do double, but others are forced to “suppress” the doubling if it says do not double. My Publix in Anderson, SC does not double if it says do not double.

        • kjmiller

My Publix (in west central GA) doubles even if coupon states not to do so. :)

        • Rebevil

they would not double my coupon for the steamers since it says do not double…I also go to publix in anderson, and i even spoke with a manager about it and he said that they are now retraining their cashiers to make sure that they keep the coupons from doubling since they have to manually stop it from doing it…

    • Bblawsonuk

The Pompeian Olive Oil link is for an expired Food Lion coupon. It says it expired April 13, 2010.

      • Bblawsonuk

Mistake – I meant the V8 coupon! Sorry! Too much on my mind too early in the morning.

    • Snowski824

Random UPromise Question: If I buy more than one glue stick does the coupon count more than once or can you only use it once?

      • It only applies once, no matter how many you buy. Sorry.

    • Kendra_lue

on the hershey syrup coupon it says ONE COUPONE PER PURCHASE so I can only use 1 coupon in one trasaction right?

      • happymom

Per purchase is not the same as per transaction. You can use three coupons on three items (purchases) in one transaction.

      • ljc

Usually that means one coupon per item, so if you buy two hershey syrups you could use two coupons.

    • B_boop40

I was advised last Wednesday that Publix would no longer be takine Target coupons. The Asst. Mgr., stated “if it's not a real grocery store we won't take their coupons. Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens coupons are no longer accepted.” I have emailed their corporate office, but no response. Has anyone else had this issue

      • KAWilson

The Goose Creek, SC store takes almost any coupon – even Dollar General. No problem with any I have tried to use….depends on the region you live in though.

      • di

Last Friday I used a CVS ECB with no problems…haven't heard otherwise

      • BluStarMom

My Publix in Lexington, SC will not take Target coupons b/c they are not a “grocery store”, I jokingly asked them if they had been in Target lately…..

        • Tracybauld

Rumor is that they will be renovating that one and making it a super target. Thats when they will take our Target Q's. I have started going to the one in Irmo..that one is awesome. I live near Lex High School but the drive is worth it!!

      • ljc

My Publix does not take Target coupons either. I haven't tried coupons from the other stores, but I am sure the policy applies to those as well. So you are not alone.

      • angelyn_1986

My store in North Augusta, SC has never taken non-manufacturer's coupons from other stores, but they will take manufacturer's q's that print from another store's site, have other stores' logos on them, or even Earth Fare q's that say “redeem only at Earth Fare.”

      • Jbush27

Mine does, but there is also a super target near by.

      • Kaomatthew

Our publix in Tampa has never taken Target coupons – they will also NOT double any coupons :(

        • B_Boop40

I just recv'd an email from corporate office, stating that at least in FL, is is their policy to only accept traditional grocery store coupons. some what frustrating, but I still like Publix, maybe they should take down their sign.

          • Beth

I was told by the store manager in the Hendersonville, TN Publix that it is up to the store manager…but – NONE of the Publix in or around Nashville take any coupons UNLESS the are true grocery coupons.

            • Actually, the Smyrna Publix takes Target q’s b/c there is a Super Target down the road.

          • Pjcoupon

My Publix in St. Pete takes them. My manager is amazing, he told me he will take pretty much anything. Yay! And a manager at another Publix told me that when they were doing training they had to go to Target to view their competition… and therefore to her, that means Target is a competitor.

        • Ruth

I am in Punta Gorda (2 hours south of Tampa) and my Publix accepts the Target coupons. The closest SuperTarget is in Cape Coral, about 20 miles from here.

      • guest

        yes in nashville

      • Sandy

        yes, in Montgomery, AL

    • Stacey

If I buy a package of pampers and a tub of wipes can I use these 2 manufacturing coupons together? Or do both coupons count as 'diaper' coupons? I don't have a Publix so I'm trying to find out for my store.

      1) buy any one pack of diapers, receive a free wipes 72 ct or less
      1) $2.00 off any package of diapers

      • Kelley

        Yes you can use both.

      • Coupons090

it think you can buy the diapers and wipes use -2.00 wipes and -2.00 diapers manuf. coupon along w/ the store coupon for free wipes but check the size or $ value on that one. that would give you both for about 15.99.

    • kjmiller

I'm not seeing the Hebrew National Franks q in my June ALL YOU. Also, haven't received my July issue yet. Is it only me?

      • Adamsdmd

I have received mine, but don't remember when it came. I didn't see the HNF's q either.

        • kjmiller

Thanks, looks like I'll need to call their customer service (and while I'm at it, I'll ask about any regional variations in the coupons!).

          • Snowski824

It's not so much regional variations. The subscriptions get less coupons than the magazine that you would buy in Walmart.

      • Judy

I have never been able to find this coupon either….I thought this magazine was the same everywhere, but obviously, it isn't. I have received my July one.

        • Farcoup

Ths q s only in the magazines from Walmart.

        • carrie

I had read earlier on a comment (about a month ago) about one All You subscriber calling the (866) number for All You found near the back of the magazine and requesting that this extra cardstock insert that is in the store issues be put in her subscription issue. I decided to call last week and see if I could have the same thing for my subscription and after talking to a 'specialist', not the person who originally answered the call, I was told that yes I would have it included from here on out. Time will tell if I actually receive it. If enough subscribers call, maybe they will start including it in everyone's issues.

          • That's good info to know. I was going to subscribe to All You, but if I get less coupons than the Walmart version, why spend the $$ on the subscription??

      • Jandwcope

All i know is I cannot stand the hebrew franks. These are full of grease.. I will not purchase these again even if they are free. just my opinion though..

    • Lauren

The Food Lion link for the Gerber Food doesnt' give you one for $1/3 foods. It's $1/3 accessories when you print it out. I'm guessing that won't work? Any thoughts?

    • Whatstheruckus

i'm disappointed that my coupon booklets from the tennessean did'nt have the Edy's or the fiber one toaster coupons in them :(

      • Glosmommy

weird…my Tennessean had the toaster coupon in it I used it today at Publix

      • Anne

I am wondering if there was an Edy's coupon? I looked on Ebay and couldn't find any. It seems like if they are available there is always some on Ebay.

        • Pinkandblackcrazy

I am in GA and have the Edy's coupon and the fiber one coupon

    • valerie

FYI, the Publix at Macland Rd. in Marietta told me that they rec'd an e-mail yesterday from corporate instructing them to accept Target coupons again. I don't know about other competitors' coupons, but they took the 1.00 off Purina dog food in addition the man. Q.

    • Tarheel Mom

I am having a lot of trouble printing coupons from Smart Source. I've tried the instructions to correct the problem and still no luck. My friend had the same issue. Anyone else having difficulty? Any suggestions?

      • Dychrism

try using mozilla firefox browser instead of internet explorer

        • kjmiller

I have a Mac and for some reason, most sites (including SS) work better using the Safari (not Firefox browser)..

      • Phillis

Try reinstalling your print drivers or printer.

      • kjmiller

I haven't been having problems. Have you tried the usual (e.g. clearing cache, reopening browser, rebooting computer, etc)? If your computer is a Mac, I can provide a couple other suggestions..

        • Can I hear the mac suggestions? My husbands mac is stubbornly refusing to print coupons for me.

          • kjmiller

If you are using the Safari browser:

Go to “Macintosh HD > Users > username > Library > Prefrences and move the com.Apple.Safari.plist file to the desktop. Reboot and see if Safari works. If it does and everything is fine in Safari, delete the file. This worked like a charm for me.. (Couldn't, however, fix my issues with Firefox with this method..).

            Also try repairing permissions:
1.) Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilites > Disk Utiliy
2.) Select “Macintosh HD” in Disk Utility and press “Repair permissions.”

            Good luck!

      • Marina115

my spyware was blocking my installation every time. After I changed the settings from automatically blocking things to asking first, it fixed the problem.

      • Donna

When I print from my laptop it takes 10-15 mintues for them to actually print. On my desktop they come out immediately. I have no idea why but try waiting and see what happens.

    • Migdalia

Does anyone know if the Bic Soliel Razors are included in the BOGO sale? My deals don't start until tomorrow. Thanks!

      • Lucy

The ad shows a picture of the Soleil disposable razors so they are included in the sale.

        • Migdalia

          Thanks Lucy!!

      • Glosmommy

They were at my Publix. Score freee razors for me!!!

      • carrie

Go to Publix dot com and type in your zip code to look at the ad for your area. It might spell out exactly which razors are included.

      • Hender328

There are people saying that there is a redplum coupon for $2 off the razors, but I cannot access it when i bring up redplum it gives me my zip code I can change this but I cannot clear it to nothing.

Does anybody have a zip code that works?

    • LTodd

I am new to this…if I'm buying 4 of the Valley Fresh Steamers–can I print the same online coupon 4 times and use it during one transaction?
      Thanks! :)

      • kjmiller

Yes, but many printable sites will limit you to two prints. A lot of us use more than one computer as a work-around.

      • carrie

Unless it is a PFT (couponers, do I have that correct, I can't ever remember the initials for that think?) coupon, the website will only allow you to print two coupons per computer. But you can use both coupons per transaction. Example: buy 2 steamers and use both coupons you printed.

    • Ljb1961

What happened to the coupon link for v-8 1off 2 bottles

      • carrie

I found it on I heart publix dot com (at top of page, click “weekly ads” and then click on the ad for 7/15). But it seems to be a Food Lion (FL) coupon and I assume will print with the FL logo on it somewhere. My Publix will not accept it because FL isn't a competitor of theirs, but yours might. You just have to ask, if you don't already know.

    • Carly

Is there a zipcode for the target force flex trash bags? I can't find it…THank you!

    • ToddL

Will publix double .50 coupons if they say don't double?

      • Snowski824

Sometimes, it depends on your store and sometimes each cashier.

      • happymom

At my Publix in Columbia, there is one cashier that always supresses the “do not double” coupons. But all the other cashiers let it through! Needless to say I avoid her line! So, I guess my advice is if your doubles are supressed, try a different cashier next time. :)

        • LoriMama

You should speak to the store manager. Publix's policy is to double ALL manufacturer Qs regardless of what is written on it. This also happened at my store with one particularly legalistic cashier. I called the manager over and asked him for clarification about suppressed Qs. He gave me a blank look and when I explained what was happening, he was appalled. Apparently, the cashier had taken it upon herself to impose this rule even although it was contradictory to what is Publix policy. She has since been “re-trained”; however, she dislikes the mega couponers even more. When she is a cashier, her lines are very, very empty.

          • Elizabeth

The managers at two of our three local Publix stores have told me that they do not double the coupons that say “Do Not Double.” One tried to tell me it was coupon fraud to double them and when I explained that it was not and there was no difference than doubling this coupon vs. one that did not say “Do Not Double” she finally understood and said she would consult with her district manager and get back with me but she never did. So I just shop at the other Publix that does still double these coupons or use them at our FL which is now doubling coupons AND matching prices so I am shopping there A LOT more than I used to do.

    • Jessica

Save $1.00 wyb (1) Chips Ahoy made with Reese's or Chips Ahoy made with Heath (9.5oz) – coupon in July All You. Not sure if this variety is included in BOGO sale.

I also have the FB coupon for BOGO when you buy 1 gallon milk. We don't have true BOGO here, so I should be able to buy 2 packages and use both Q's making it $.89 for 2 packs!

    • Glosmommy

Just wanted to share with someone who can relate…..

I just got back from my Publix and I think I did really well. I got $78.54 in groceries for $15.72!!!!!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!

      • happymom

        That's awesome! It's so exciting, isn't it!

    • sarah

Anyone know the zipcode for the Contessa coupon??

    • Susan

I love this site and ihearpublix dot com! Together with all the good deals, I have been able to drop my $90-120 week grocery bill to only $35!

This week is awesome-got $122.87 worth of groceries for only $30.17! And i got lots of produce and meat!

    • MaryM

The Publix where I work doubles coupons up to $.50 automatically, but different stores may have different policies.

    • Charo808

I was told at Publix that I could not use the Truvia Q out of the Publix Summer Greenwise Magazine along with another mfg. Q because the Truvia Q in the Greenwise was not a Publix Q.

    • Shannon

Does anybody know the zip code for the General Mills Fiber One Toaster Pastries? Thanks!!

    • Chroma

There's also a $2 off any 2 Green Giant vegetables store coupon from the Publix yellow bordered flyer “All American Savings” from June. Coupon good thru June 18. Not sure if it applies, but it would turn frozen vegetables into money if it did.

      • Couponluck

Good call! Hope that works :)

      • Leah

The coupon is for 19-24 oz. bags, Just for One, or Nibblers Corn on the Cob 12 ct. The Steamers are only 11 or 12 oz. packages, so they shouldn't qualify for that advantage buy coupon…oh well.

    • ashley

again not an exciting week at publix for me…getting quite disappointed in them. I am happy to see the bogo gg steamers again =)

    • My publix had a bunch of the 27.5 oz family sized Kellogg's cereals (Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, etc.) on an end cap, buy one get one. Using the $1/2 coupons, they ended up being $1.25. They were NOT with the other cereal, but were on an endcap of the cereal aisle. Worth looking out for (especially since some of the boxes still had the free movie concessions offer (so three boxes of cereal for $3.75 and then qualified for $5 in movie money) Also – keep an eye out for Kellogs Cinnabon cereal. They were marked down to $1.99, and had .50 stickies on the box. In addition, there is a rebate offer printed on the box allowing you to try it for free – so you get the $1.99 back and can use the $1 in coupon money to pay tax and the stamp for the rebate. It was a good day at Publix!

    • Nat

Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System – we can get this at Publix with a $3 store coupon (Hot Summer Savings coupon booklet) and $3 mfg coupon (SS 7/11). Not sure how much it costs, but that's a $6 savings! Whooooo hoooooo!!!

      • Jmattingly

They are regularly 14.99 at my store. I checked last week. Actually there is a $5 off in the Walgreens booklet if your Publix accepts them as a competitor

        • Nat

          wonderful, thanks!!

      • sue

Yesterday the lysol kit was special at 9.99 and some Publix will accept the 5.00 off walgreens coupon in thier book.

    • Shannon

I printed off the $5 of $25 from Save-Alot and my local Publix honored it as a competitor coupon! I had an awesome day! Today I spent $5.50 and saved $62!!!!

      • Shannon

        $5 OFF $25 is what I meant!

    • Ebelyeu

If I use the BOGO when you buy a gallon of milk Nabisco coupon when Publix has the cookies on sale BOGO, will I be charged as if I am buying one at 1/2 price and getting the other free? Hope that makes sense……does anyone know how that works?

      • littlemama

They were on sale last week. The snack packs. I bought the milk and two packages of oreos snack packs boxes. The snack packs were BOGO making them $3 each. I used the free coupon bringing them down to $1.50 each. Then I was able to use the $1 off two Nabisco snack packs Q from Coupon.com. That brought them down to $1 each! These were the 12 pack snack oreos! Hope that helps.

      • stevemurph

Other than FL you should get charged for 2@sale price and coupon credit for 1@sale price

        • Jjstrickler

How would that work in Florida?

          • stevemurph

I'm not sure hopefully a FL person can provide an answer

            • Kubachan

I used the Nabisco facebook coupon today. I bought Milk and got 2 chips ahoy cookies free. I’m in FL.

    • Norwalk

F.Y.I. There are no Rice Krispies coupons available on the Snackpicks site and no coupons for refrigerated entrees on the Hormel site. If you get Kroger coupons through the mail, you'll find a coupon for $1/2 Rice Krispies or Cinnabon Bars.

    • flower_mom

I got to my Publix in Calera, AL just before lunchtime today (WED) and they are already out of electrasol! Boo! First day and they are already out!
Plus, they don't seem to ever have the Smart Balance milk that I got my raincheck for 2 weeks ago!
      What is going on? :)

      • Deshaine

That is my Publix, too, and they are too new. Give them about a year or so before they get things rockin'-n-rollin'.

        • Grappler_baki23

They are probaly out because someone went in and got like 50 of them…..Save some for the rest of the world!

        • Hender328

Our Publix is real new also and does not have any Smartsource coupon dispensers in the store yet. I live in Auburn, AL. We frequently went to Columbus, Ga and Montgomery, AL to shop at Publix. One of the things that we loved is that even when we went in without coupons just to get the BOGO items a lot of times there would be a coupon right there.

          • I'm in Auburn, too, and so excited the Publix finally opened!! I'd been driving to Columbus or Phenix City!

I still find myself hitting Publix, Target, & Kroger in a trip (since they're so close) to get the best deals on all the stuff I need.

      • Rachel

one time with one of my rain checks they never got the item back in for the whole month. I asked at the service desk and they gave me a rain check for the rain check.

      • sherry

Once, I had to wait two months to get a razor….but it was definitely worth the wait and they still honored the coupon!

    • cb

I am sorry if this is a repeat. Went to publix on Hardscrabble (northeast Columbia SC)
last night. Was told they only except grocery store coupons only. No lowes, target, walgreens, cvs, rite aid. Came home sat down and refigured my order. Needless to say I will be returning a few things back tonight. Just wish I could get my coupons back. It would help greatly if they had posted this somewhere before I had checked out. I was so frustrated . Is there a publix in the 50 mile area that shopping is a pleasure there?

      last night

      • Here in south FL, they only accept true grocery competitors also. If you encounter this again, simply have them take off any item from your order that you can't use the Q. Don't feel badly doing it either.

      • My Publix in Taylors, SC has the same policy. I tried several months ago to use a Target coupon, and they would not take it since we do not have a Super Target with a grocery store. They will also not accept drugstore coupons.

        • Votelisa

The publix on 290 in Duncan does take those coupons. :)

      • Votelisa

some publix do take cvs walgreen ect. if they are very close in proximity. Mine does. I think every publix is different. Call and ask about each store's policy

      • Sandino

My Publix in Wesley Chapel,FL told me the same thing about a Target coupon last time I was in there, but they accepted it this one last time.

      • Hender328

You should have just cancelled the whole transaction. Taken your coupons back and figured out what you could do.

    • Armstrongiv

The V8 coupon ($1 off 2) expired 3/13/10 although it was available via a “printable” link last night. Is it still accepted? Thanks

    • Snowski824

The Elmer's Glue sticks were 3/$2 making them .67 cents each not .34 cents

    • Regina

The hormel coupon is suppose to be $1.00 in the ss 6/06 but newspaper had it for 75 Has anybody else had that delimma?

      • guest

        Yep. Coupons vary by region.

    • Couponluck

On the Kelloggs Fiber Plus cereal you can do this
      Buy 2
Use $1/2 any kelloggs printable from redplum
      Use 2 $.75/1 target coupon
      Get them for $.74 each!

    • jenifer

I had a question about printer ink and paper. I am new to coupons and want to do this right so I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on what they do to buy printer ink and paper. And if anyone has tips on how to conserve the amount of paper they use. I try to flip it over and print more then one coupon on one piece of paper. Any help in this area would be helpful and greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

      • Lisaajenkins

We have a laser printer after having another kind. It took 6 months to use up just the starter ink cartridge it came with!

      • I trim off the coupon and save the other 2/3 of paper and use for printing more. Even if there is printing on the bottom of the page, I still flip it over and use it. Some people have the option of printing in B&W only, thus conserving their colored ink.

we also bought a refill kit and my hubby fills our ink cartridges himself. The refill kit cost what one set of refills would cost, BUT it will refill at least 10 times and probably more like 15.

        • When printing B&W make sure you actually have both a B&W and color cartridge (or you have inserted a B&W cartridge) otherwise it will actually use more ink than printing in color.

      • moneysaved4disney

you can also change the settings on your printer to fast or normal-fast and it will not use as much ink.

      • jenifer

Thank you for the quick responses. They are very helpful, I will definitely get started on assessing my printer setup and look into getting a refill kit! You all rock-keep up the good work in your savings!

      • KellyGlenn

I have a Staples Reward Card and when I turn in used printer cartridges to Staples, I get a $3.00 Staples reward credit for each cartridge. They limit each customer to 10 credits per month. I just started this so I had 10 cartridges to turn in last month (had been saving the cartridges for a while to recycle somehow). So about 3 weeks after I turned in the cartridges (using my reward card), I got a check in the mail for $30 of Staples rewards. So then used this to go buy another new printer cartridge and some paper.

        • Wendy

You were smart to turn in the cartridges when you did. Now the program has changed to $2 a piece:(

          • Erin

Omg are you kidding :( I’m almost to 10 cartridges that I was going to bring in. Why do they always have to change everything :(

      • Wendy

Not sure if the easy rebate is still going on, but I got 2 reams of paper at Staples on Sunday for 4.99 each. After rebate they will be 1 cent each. You sign up online, enter your rebate #s, and you get a cashable check in a few weeks.

      • I’ve gotten decent deals on printer ink from 4inkjets.com before. Only problem is that ink bought from them is like remanufactured or something like that and so your printer may say low ink when you still have a full ink cartridge. The ink I got from them did that to my printer from the time I put it in, but it works perfectly. I got 2 cartridges for my Lexmark color printer (I can only buy color for mine) for $28.88 shipped (shipping was free and I had a $5.10 discount from some offer they were offering at the time).

      • Hender328

Check with ebay there are several people selling ink cartridges. Also Walgreens refills ink cartridges, both color and black ink.

        • gaithergir

walgreen's has a special where they are refilling for 10 bucks this week. also, if you earn extra care bucks at cvs or register rewards at walgreens use those to buy these big items.

      • Megortiz63

be sure to set your printer to “fast print” or “draft” that way it uses less ink per print.
At my job we print directly to our copiers – and it spits out a cover sheet each time, so I save mine ( asked the boss first!) and bring them home each week. I usually have 50-100 sheets each week!

    • Pawstoreflect

Just FYI, my Publix had the Pilot G2 pens at the 50% off price of $1.49. I used the $1/1 coupon in the Walgreens July coupon book for a total of 49 cents each for the 2 pack. Good pens…hubby is a police officer so he goes through a lot of ink!:)

      • Wanda Carlton

our publix in riverview fl does not accept pharmacy coupons, so you were extra blessed.

    • Gettobobs

The Covergirl Nail Polish was normal price $3.29, and so it rang up on sale at $1.29. I used two $1 off coupons and got two colors for .29 each!! My three year old was thrilled!!

    • Fmher2001

what do you do when you attempt to print coupon and don't receive the coupon and you are denied printing again

      • guest

Find a new computer? If you don't have one you're just out of luck :(

    • His_mother27

I purchased a Lysol No Touch soap dispenser at Publix for $4 (in Spring Hill, FL). It was originally $15 and was on sale for $9.99. I used a Publix coupon for $3 and a manufacturer coupon for $3. I am new to couponing, so I consider this a small victory.

    • Mom2teenagers

There is a $1/2 Sharpie highlighter q on Facebook to use on the BOGO deal. You have to “like” them to get the coupon. Makes these $1 a pack.

    • Farcoup

There is a 1.00 of Nabisco Chips Ahoy in Juoy all you mag. Makes them .89 cents.

    • caseyandgrantsmom

I went shopping at Publix early this morning to get the best sales while they still had stock. A few of my best deals…
3 – Finish Gel Tabs, 32 ct for $1 each
      4 – Herbal Essence for $1 each
2 – Fabuloso Cleaning Concentrate for $0.33 each (never tried these before, but can't pass up that price!)
1 – Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamer for $0.19 (I need some more of those coupons!)
      2 – Emerald Nuts Trail Mix for FREE (on sale 2/$2 and I had 2 $1 Q's)
2 – BIC Soleil 4-blade Disposable Razors for FREE
Plus over $25 worth of Scrubbing Bubbles products for $6!

Only bummed that the Keebler Town House wasn't BOGO and I didn't notice it until after I bought them.

      • suzanne

Hi! I am new to this. Could you please explain how to get the scrubbing bubbles deal. Maybe I overlooked something and this could be a dumb question but I'd rather ask than to miss out on that deal:) Thank you!

      • Jessie

Don't forget you can always get a rain check if an item in the ad is sold out :-)

      • Linda

Where did you get the Fabuloso coupon?

    • Rcampbell

what zip code should i use to get a contessa coupon?

    • Kristi

There is a $1.00 off Nabisco Chips Ahoy cookies made with Reese's or Heath in the July All You magazine if those are included in the sale. This would make them $.89!

      • Megortiz63

they are included, and tasty…but be aware , they are only about 9 ounces, vs the regular, which is 15-16 ounces. So, fun to try at a cheap price, but if you figure out the per ounce price, nearly twice that of the larger bag.

    • Hender328

I still need a zip code for the BIC Razors for Redplum.com. I have seen where it said “no zip code required”, but when I log on my zip code is shown. I can change this to a different one, but do not know how to make it cleared or blank. Help please.

    • FYI – Gervais Publix does not accept Target coupons. Just tried to use the $1.00 off Kellogg’s Eggo Pancakes and the manager said they don't accept them.

Sorry if this info. was already posted.

      • gaithergirl

i was informed that they would only take competitor's coupons if the store is somewhere in the vacinity of their store.

        • kaseyshadow

I was told at the Lexington Publix that they don't consider targets a competitor because they are not a grocery store.

          • Hender328

Some Target stores are SuperTargets with a full grocery side. I used to live in Mobile and they have one of each.

    • Rachee17

Had a great shopping trip at Publix this morning as well. Warning: The activia coupon in the publix summer savings magazine was a manufacturer's Q (I didn't realize this) so I couldn't use it with the printable manf Q. It came out to $1 per 4-pack which is still not too bad.

    • Couponsclb

Just an FYI – My Publix in Huntsville, AL had a coupon book called Pool Party Recipes & Savings. It has coupons for manwich, rotel, van camps beans, snack pack pudding and also a $5.00 off 10 items of certain Conagra Foods products. It also offers a $10.00 gift card offer when you spend $50.00 in groceries. I know I received coupons for all of these items in my last Conagra Coupon rebate book but have not calculated the total savings yet.

    • Stephmobley9

How Many $1.50/2 coupons can I use for 2 Rosetto pasta, am I only limited to one?

      • Jessie

    • Woodsinjax

As I am looking at these deals in Publix, I notice initials like RP and SS. Could you tell me what these stand for? Also, are you allowed to use more than one type of coupon on an item? I see several types of coupons listed below a single item, and it looks as if both are needed in addition to the current sale price in order to get the final price you list, which looks fantastic. I am new to this (obviously), so any help would be appreciated:)

      • Jessie

        RP = Red Plum
        SS = Smart Source

Both are inserts found in the Sunday paper.

You can stack one manufacturer coupon and one Publix or competitor coupon per item (so usually you can use 2 coupons per item if you happen to have both kinds). Some Publixes let you stack a manufacturer + a Publix coupon + a competitor coupon on a single item, but they seem to be few and far between. Competitors are determined by the individual store manager. For example, my Publix takes Target and Kroger coupons, but not Food Lion because there is no Food Lion close to me. You should try reading Jenny's tutorials as there is a lot of good information there. Couponing can be a little confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's totally worth it. I've been doing it since January and I save an average of 60-90% on my groceries each week. Pay attention to sales on items like meat, produce, and milk because there are hardly ever coupons for these. You may also find it helpful to shop at more than one store for those items (Publix, Kroger, Aldi, etc.) to make sure you are getting the best price. Hope this helped!

        • Woodsinjax

Thank you so much. I really am looking forward to seeing a change in my grocery bill by doing this!

        • Fosteremail

Jessie, how long did it take of you doing couponing to see that much of a savings? I've been doing it since April and not really seeing a difference in my grocery budget. I'm not sure what I'm going wrong. :-( Do you get more than one Sunday paper? How much time do you spend printing coupons online? I'd love some suggestions. Thanks.

          • AshleyQ

Hi Fosteremail, Hope you don't mind if I resond here even though you replied to Jessie. I have been doing this since last October and I tend to save about the same. The main way to be able to keep them so low is by working off a stock. Start off buing only what is on sale AND that you have a coupon for, unless it is something you HAVE to have. Then stock things up when they are a GREAT deal then work off your stock… that way when run out of what you are using you can go to your stock instead of having to go pay the current price in the stores. I am in the N. ATL area and I have found that Aldi's has the lowest prices for produce and dairy, so if you have one close check it out, I buy all mine there. I started out saving about 37% when I first started saving and working on my stock, now I save about 65% each week. Sometimes less, sometimes more, especially when it is a meat stock up week. HTH and sorry for butting in…

            • AshleyQ

also, Note: I am basing my saving % off what my average weekly grocery bill was BEFORE I started couponing! NOT what is shown I the receipt. It helps me if I compare couponing to how it impacts my bank account not the number that is printed on a receipt. Does that make sence?

            • Fosteremail

Of course I don't mind you jumping in – I love all this feedback!
I think your suggestion is what I am missing – the whole stocking up thing. I've been having trouble figuring out how to do that – it's hard to stock and buy what's needed for the week in addition. Do you get a lot of papers and thus coupons? I would think you'd have to in order to really make the sale and stocking work and not totally go overboard on your budget.
I've been to Aldis – we're actually getting one close to my house in August. I hadn't been that impressed by what we got there – but I don't think we did produce, and dairy is standard. I'll try it again.
Did you find that for a while you were kind of overspending your grocery budget in order to stock, but then once you were pretty well stocked, it went down because you didn't have to buy so much every week? If so, about how many weeks do you think it took if you remember?
It totally makes sense about the percentage off. That's what we were comparing it to as well. We used to do Bj's and Walmart, now I do Publix and CVS mostly. We use Quicken and it shows us what we spend each month, and so far the numbers have stayed the same, which is discouraging, especially because I spend a lot of time cutting coupons and surfing the web. I'd love to hear more of your suggestions for stocking – maybe that's the part I'm missing. Thanks for responding!

            • AshleyQ

I do get 3 papers, I have one delivered and then go buy more, I take advantage of a deal we have here where if you buy one you get a 2nd for only $1 more. There is only 2 of us here so I don't need as much, where if you have a larger family you might find that you need to buy more. I did not overspend at first, I dropped from about $120/wk to about $75/wk, I even made myself use cash and when the cash was gone the couponing was done for the week, a game I played with myself, lol!!! Then I started lowering the amount and making my 1 person game harder! I got to a point where my game is now $35-$40/wk. My stock is now to point where some weeks I don't even go couponing except for the “Free or MM” items but other weeks I go over when protein is at my stock-up price.

I have learned that I can miss a deal (that was hard at first!) because either that deal will come around again… or it's competitor will. I would rather keep my budget in tact rather than spend more money on something that I don't have to have becuase I already have something similar in stock.

            • Fosteremail

Wow, that's amazing – so you only spend 30-40 a week on groceries? It is hard to miss a deal – couponing can be addictive. :-) I like the idea of using cash too – so you have some boundaries. That's great that you can get the second paper for $1, I wish they had that here. Thanks for all your suggestions! Have a great weekend!

            • Freedomspradley1

I just started couponing, going on my 4th week, and I'm falling into the trap of buying all the deals because they seem like such great deals! I get 4 papers each week and it keeps me pretty stocked on q's but I also print some offline. I'm still spending about the same amount as I was before on groceries but I am stocking up on stuff. I have tons of toiletries as I've found the CVS deals to be most efficient in the beginning. Now I have to bypass all the shampoos, deodorants, razors, etc. until I actually need it so I'm shifting my focus to the pantry. My girlfriend who got me into this said it takes about 6-8 weeks to get yourself stocked and after that you start to see more savings on your weekly spending.

            • Fosteremail

I understand – I have a hard time resisting deals too! CVS is awesome for stocking up on toiletries. Thanks for the tip that it takes about 6-8 weeks for getting stocked – so did she say that you end up spending more for those 2 months and then it drops? I understand about only buying the sale stuff and stocking up, it's just really hard with kids. I'll have to get a little more creative. :-) Have a great weekend!

            • Erin

Yes, all the great couponers will tell you that you spend more when you first start up.

            • Freedomspradley1

I have a daughter with special needs so I still end up buying some items that aren’t on sale so I don’t see the crazy savings (+70%) some others see. My girlfriend said before she started couponing she was spending $200-250 every two weeks ($100-125/wk) and now she’s spending $75/wk. She said she’s spending less, is very stocked, and has more brand name labels in her pantry than ever before!

            • I started this in October, and I set us a weekly budget of $75 (family of 3 & 2 cats -including diapers/pull ups). I couponed my way thru an entire 6-8 week cycle and stocked up on everything I could, then lowered my budget to $65. I went for several more months on that amount still stocking up. Now I spend $55 or less and have an average savings of 82%.

          • Hender328

Sometimes people laugh at me, but i tell them that I treat it like a job. I will get online for about a hour each day and look around for different things. Then I will print when I find them and use them as I need them. I save a lot. I'm not saying that anyone is deceitful, but I base my savings on stuff that I will actually use or would have bought regularly. Now that is not to say that I always buy one brand or the other. But I am not going to go into Publix and buy 4 boxes of Ice Cream Sandwiches just because they are regularly 2.99 and I can get them for .49 giving me a savings of $10 dollars. I might buy one box because that is all I need to be in my house. I do think in some cases some people as saying that their bill went from $150.00 to $34.96 and then they are sticking 25 packs of razors and 15 deodorants under their bed.

            • Fosteremail

You're right, it IS kind of like a job sometimes! I am amazed how much time it takes, which is why I've been a little disappointed not to see more savings yet. Thanks for the suggestion in not going crazy stockpiling stuff too. Definitely need a balance!

            • Brooke

Lol, I love your post. You are exactly right. I imagine that's what lots of people are doing. Saying they saved $200 and all they have to show for it is a billion packs of razors, and no food!!!

          • Bryarsmom

May I add my 2cents as well? I've been playing the game about 3 yrs now. We get 12-15 papers a week. I scan my 3 fav blogs several times a day-that will also yield you tons of free samples!
Q'ing does take some time but one of the keys is organization. I file all my inserts by the month in boxes I store under a bed in spare bedrm. I have several places thru-out our home for my stockpiles. Recently purchased a cool5 shelf unit at Lowes to hold some of my HBA's.
You only buy when a sale hits& you can use Q's to score & then you buy as many as you can!
You begin stocking up, allowing you to even share with others like at your church & different shelters.

            • Fosteremail

Hi! Thanks for the suggestions. 12-15 papers a week, that's a lot! Do you find that it's worth the money you pay for the paper to get all the coupons? And it sounds like you just file the papers, rather than cutting and organizing all the coupons, is that right? Then you use a site like this one, see the deal you want, then go to that paper and cut the coupon? I would think you would have to do it that way. I only get one paper a week and it takes me a while to cut the coupons and put them in a notebook.
I think that's part of it – that I haven't really stocked up yet – since I only get one paper, I only get one of the deals instead of a ton and have stuff on hand. I would think that once you are basically “stocked up” that you would eventually end up buying less stuff because you already have it on hand, right? So much to learn! :-) I do like to share – I'll go to CVS and get the stuff that's “free” after extra bucks and give it to the church (if I don't need it myself). It's a lot of fun. Thanks again for your help.

            • kaseyshadow

I cut my grocery bill in half most weeks and I no longer go to wal-mart. It took me a while to really see the savings and I only get 1 paper a week and print coupons on line. Give it time and you will see the savings.

            • Tntmcguire05

I buy 2 papers a week and only buy what's on sale. I've been doing for about 2 months now and I have been able to stock pile on HBA's too. Right now it's only me and my husband so no need to purchase more than 2 papers. That may change once we have children. I have saved about $250+ in the last 2 months. Not bad in my opinion (and that's buy diapers, wipes, etc)(we are adopting a baby).

            • Fosteremail

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you've seen a difference! I will keep trying. Congrats on adopting! Our two boys are adopted too. They are 2 and 1, but eat as much as we do, so it's hard to buy exclusively what's on sale. I don't know what we'll do when they're teens – that's why I'm trying to get the hang of it now! LOL! Have a great weekend.

            • They general rule is to buy a paper for every adult in the house. OR every person who eats like an adult… :) Then you have more coupons to play with in order to get those super deals each week.

            • Margie

Do any of the convenience stores in your area sell two-pack sunday papers? It's usually the Saturday edition, wrapped or rubber banded together. Quick Trips and some grocery stores have them ($3 for the twin pack). Also, there are folks who sell the papers at busy intersections for only $1 each, so that really saves me $1 off the bundle. (In Atlanta).

Finally, I'm single. I have taken a huge hit in income. I buy only what's on sale. I freeze skim milk in two half gallon jugs when it's a good price – cause it wont break when thawed. I have bought coupons on ebay before – sometimes they can take a while to get mailed. I sort the coupons by date, I dont clip anything, I put the whole RP or SS in a sheet protector and keep in a 3 ring binder. I get two to 4 store coupon circulars/books when they come out, depending on what's in there. And am registered on Kroger for e-coupons and get home mailers. And I try to be flexible on products. My favorite brand of coffee is the only thing I stick with – and I am stocked thru December (it is usually only on sale twice a year) – and I paid the cost of 4 bags total when I got 16 bags due to coupons, b1g1. It should only take about 6-8 weeks – a full cycle of sales to stock up. But I would recommend at LEAST two papers. You need 2 q's for b1g1. Happy couponing.

            • Dmknapper

Congrats on your adoption. I have two girls that I adopted from Guatemala three years ago. What a wonderful experience! Where do you live? Any other adoptive parents out there? Please email me at dmknapper @ hotmail.com (no spaces).

            • Fosteremail

              Thanks, I'll keep trying! :-)

            • Linda

What are your other fav blogs?

            • Hikergirls

One thing we do to help is I have hired my children to clip and organize my coupons. This saves me a lot of time and gives them a “job” to learn how to manage their money. I don't call myself an extreme couponer, but we have been able to shave off about $100 a month consistenly off our grocery bill–that's with buying healthy foods as well. My sweet husband lets me use the overage for “play” money for the family. So, keep at it–you'll find your “groove” eventually!

            • Brooke

I would love to have more coupons than what's in the normal 2 papers per week that I buy, but I just can't bring myself to spend $12 to $15 or more on newspapers!!!! How do you do that and do you really find it beneficial? My house is loaded as it is just buying 2 papers a week. It's a bummer though when we really want something good like a food item like the Yoplait yogurt last week.

            • Rachel

We have a recycling bank right down the road from us and I go periodically and go “dumpster” diving for coupon inserts. I also get lucky every once and a while and find coke rewards as well.

      • Sheree00

RP is Red Plum and SS is Smart Source. You can use 1 red and 1 blue coupon on each item purchased. The blue coupon is a “STORE” coupon and the red is a “MANUFACTURER” coupon. If you purchase a B1G1 item you can use a store and a manu coupon on both items.

    • Elainetjohnson

Hebrew National Franks's coupoon was not in my 6/20 RP. Is there anywhere else I can find it? This happens a lot too when my coupons don't match up. I live in Birmingham.

      • guest

I have four and live in birmingham as well if you would like to trade archerethan at aol dot com

    • Melanie

Not sure is anyone has posted about this: Bought Hillshire Farm Deli Select Lunch Meats, 8 or 9 oz., $3 yesterday at Publix, it had a “Take the Fresh Taste Challenge” on top of tub. Has a code on the inside you can enter online to get $5 worth of printable coupons ($1 off 2 tubs,$2 off 3 tubs, and another $2 off 3 tubs) however it is a bricks coupon so I hit the back button and it actually let me print these 3 coupons 3 times! The challenge also reads that if you don't “agree with the taste challenge” then you can mail in your reciept, proof of purchase, and offer form and receive a $5 grocery gift card!

      • Tntmcguire05

$1 on 2 if not a bad deal but if you use your $.35 mfr and they double it then that $.70 off each instead of $.50 on each w/ the $1/2 q.

    • Angiedaily99

$1.50/2 Ziplock printable coupon is no longer available

    • Rachee17

Went to Publix this AM and got $106.59 worth of groceries for $27.56! Yeah!

    • Sking24

$238.33 worth of groceries for $98.65 this week! Also, while I was at Publix, the vendor for Keebler crackers was putting $1 off coupons on the boxes of cracers. That makes them $0.94 each!

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

went to publix and spent 60.44 and saved 119.56 that included 8 packs of hotbuns 2 bags of chips some bacon and lunch meat and milk all not on sale

    • Hender328

Has anybody had a problem with a raincheck at Publix? Meaning an item is BOGO. So normally one rings up $1.50 and the other $1.49. You can use two coupons that are .75 so one is .75 and the other is .74.

I was wondering when you went back if they rang the first one up for $2.99 and slid the other one past. Making you not be able to use two coupons.

      • Patty

I use rainchecks alot. I always tell them when they pick up the raincheck that one will be $1.50 and the other $1.49. Just watch on the screen to be sure they enter it correctly. Sometimes they will goof. There are several keys they have to use to input a raincheck. I try to go to one of the experienced cashiers when I have one. I really like the eye level screens that Publix has. It is harder to see the one at Kroger.

        • Yvonne

wow, I didn't even think of that. I just had a raincheck and the 2 items were voided. The coupons seemed to have worked just fine, but maybe they didn't really. I will keep that in mind next time.

    • luiza

Jenny, is there something funny with the math on the green giant veg bogo? $2.39 after coupons will make each bag $.69…

      • Hender328

No it is a .50 coupon that will double. Half of 2.39 is 1.20 for the first one and 1.19 for the second one after the coupon the first is .20 and the second is .19 cents. I got 6 bags today.

        • luiza

Oh I see, it must be because your store somehow doubled that coupon. My publix won't double if it says DND, which was the case with those coupons. So, because I know their policy, I simply assumed. I paid .69 per bag of vegs.

    • TammynSC

I just got back from Publix on Clemson Blvd. in Anderson, SC and was so frustrated! The cashier SUPPRESSED the doubling on my Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers because it said “Do Not Double.” I've seen on this site, and others, that the coupon would still double and there are even postings where people have done this deal. I even called the manager over and she wouldn't push it through. I don't understand. How can I get this deal? Did I go at the wrong time of day/night? This is the second time a cashier has suppressed a coupon on me. Once at this store and once at the store on Hwy. 81. What gives? I'm about to rule out Publix and just stick to BiLo.

      • Jennifer

I have contacted Publix's corporate office about this and the truth is the employees simply don't understand how to read the coupon and they should NEVER supress doubling. Publix chooses to double a coupon (up to 50 cents). Call the 1-800 # and I assure you, you'll be able to take in your receipt and get your money back. But most importantly it will hopefully force them to retrain their employees. This happened to my friend in line with me and was suppressed by the ass. store manager.

        • TammynSC

No need to take my receipt back. I had them take the items off of my order and return my coupons!

        • Guest

I'd just like to throw this out there.. I work for Publix as a cashier/customer service rep. I'm 22, it's a part time job for cash while I'm in college. I have to deal with pissed off customers on a daily basis and honestly, 90% of the time they are upset over something stupid. Our cashiers ONLY do what management tells them, ONLY. We have meetings about coupons and all kinds of silly things to keep YOU happy. Now, I'm not a stupid person, I'm not an ignorant person, I'm also not omniscient, who is? People make mistakes.. If your item rings up twice, it was most likely a “scanner blip” not the cashier's malicious action nor even their fault. If your cashier suppressed the coupon it was because s/he was told to by MANAGEMENT. So from now on keep in mind when you're checking out that when you curse at/yell at/are rude to your cashier, it was most likely NOT THEIR FAULT. I am sick of the abuse that I see day to day and really, you, an adult are going to call someone an ass because they didn't double your coupon? How immature, I hope I never have to come across the likes of you anytime soon. Shame on you.

          • Guest

Not to jump in where I don't belong, but she didn't call anyone an ass. She was referring to the assistant store manager and didn't use the proper abbreviation. On the other hand, I do hope your customers are pleasant to you. There is NO need to get so upset about couponing. You catch more flies with honey…

          • kaseyshadow

Maybe as a cashier you should show your Manager some of the post here. A LOT of this could be resolved if Publix would provide a consistant coupon policy for all stores in a state/region. As a person that has to interact with the public you will always have those that take their furstartion out of you. Perhaspe you need to call a manager over to defuse the situtation. Also, think about it from the customer's point of veiw. How would you feel if you had to budget down to the penny and was counting on that coupon being double to be able to feed your children the next day? No excuse for rudeness, but hopefully you are mature enough to see it from the other side of the cash register.

          • kathy

This person does have a valid point. I work part-time at a publix too, and we're strictly instructed that if a coupon says “DO NOT DOUBLE,” we HAVE to suppress doubling. That's just the way it goes.
And as for the “budgeting every penny” comment that somebody else made, I think it'd be nice if the customers could be a little more considerate to the cashiers. We are people too, you know!

          • Simonsfamily1

She didn't call anyone an ass she abreviated the word assistant… Just thought you'd like to know.

            • ATINEL

HA HA HA! Don't you love that?! PRICELESS!!!

          • Tator

Publix has always been the best store to me as far as coupons go. Thanks Publix!

          • Guest

I believe you read that wrong. I believe it was assistant store manager abbreviated as ass. (with a period after it).

          • Bear

“We have meetings about coupons and all kinds of silly things to keep YOU happy.”

Guess what. That's what customer service is all about. Keeping the customer happy. If you have such an attitude about it, maybe you should find a job in another industry. I've been in retail for 10 years and I've been used and abused more than you can imagine. But in the end, it's not about me. Regardless of how customers treat you, all you can do is smile, thank them for their business, and invite them to return.

        • Erin

Management in tons of Publix stores are doing this. I don't think 800 number is gonna help.

      • mandynSFL

If it says DND then why should they double it??? Ive never heard of this? Sounds shady to me.

      • Ashley

I shop in Simpsonville and then needed to shop in Anderson temporarily. I HATE those frikkin stores. Glad I get to stick with my Simpsonville store.

      • Marina115

Sorry this happened to you. I had the same thing happen a couple months ago. I canceled those items, took my coupons back and told them I will go across the street to Kroger where they don't suppress them. Of course I then drove a couple miles down to the next publix where they were happy to take my coupons. Some people just choose to be the coupon police. As a professor once told me, “the most effective thing you could do in a business transaction is to walk away.” happy shopping! :)

      • Morgan

I will NEVER shop at that Publix again. I went in today, they were out of the Finish detergent and Bic razors. So I went to customer service to get a raincheck. She wrote both of them out, handed them to me, and out I went. I got to the car and realized she had only allowed two items on each one. I went back in, waited in line again, and she bascially told me I had a lot of nerve to ask for her to change them. I was mortified. So I left. And I will be taking my rainchecks and coupons to another store.

    • Dballard

If the coupon says do not double…it has to be supressed per the manufacturer.

      • it is the store who is doing/paying the doubling, so it is up to them whether they suppress or not.

    • Gin

I buy Sunday papers and I print the allowed number of printables if the limit is not already reached and I have learned to print them as soon as the sale comes out but how do you order coupons that are not in your particular paper and I have seen where some people buy coupons is this worth doing and how do you do that I know I must be missing something somehow because I do save money but one lady was telling my friend she was getting 30 boxes of wipes free one week I dont need that much of anything but I dont see how you get that many coupons does anyone know how that might work? She would not explain it and said she already had enough people in her coupon group. I help rescue and foster animals more deals or free pet food would be awsome besides savings in general for my family

      • guest

You can buy “lots” of coupons for very cheap on ebay. For example, I bought 2 sets of 20 Q's for the Captain Crunch cereal that was on sale last week so I could get it for $1.14 a box. The Q's cost me $1.98 (included shipping) and I can easily pay for them through Paypal. Well worth under $2 to be able to buy a ton of “fun” cereal for cheap (although my usual goal is UNDER $1.00 per box, I made an exception this time–they were the large boxes.)

        • Gingermathews2

thank you! I will check ebay this was helpful

          • there are several reputable clipping services out there. couponclippers, and couponsandthingsbyDeDe are some of the ones I hear people talking about.

      • Kristen_DH

Gin I would be happy to send you coupons for cat food etc. that I will not be using. Please email if you are interested modmomme at yahoo dot com.

      • Margie

Gin, anyone who rescues and fosters is alright with me. I dont have pets at the moment (also fostered for a few months this year) so I’m happy to send all my pet coupons your way. Email me at dotskid1961@yahoo.com your address and I’ll send you everything I’ve got. Ignore the idiots. And keep helping our 4 legged friends. Thanks

    • Tiffany

There is a $1 off 9 lives store coupon that is in the pet flyer from 6/27. Used both the man. coupon and the store coupon and it made it .19. Also there is a $2.00 off 2 store coupon for Green Giant frozen vegetables that I used both a man. coupon and store coupon. Awesome night!

    • Hender328

Still cannot get the Bic Razor coupon off of Redplum.com. Need a working zip code.

      • Laura

        go to bic’s website

there’s a tiny special savings tab at the top of the page. It prints a $2.00 off Soleil Bella coupon.

I also found a $2.00 off coupon for Soleil Bella inside a pack of razors I bought last time Publix had them bogo (I think that was about 2 months ago).

The printable expires 8/16/10 but the one inside the older packages is good thru 12/31/11.

    • Xdreamer299

OMG… you should really learn some grammar!

    • SRB

What is the policy on coupons that are for a product but the sale size is not the size on the coupon? For example, I downloaded the Juicy Juice coupon that was linked, but the one that printed off for me is $1 off a 6-pack, not the 64 oz. that are on sale. Can I use this?

      • Val

No, you should not use it. The printable 64 oz. coupon is generally only offered for first time users and then you're lucky to get it every once in awhile.

    • coupon mom

excuse me! you need to learn some manners. Just how did your comment help anyone?

      • Moe_maddie

It didn't, just ignore people like that Gin. The people that buy 30 items must be getting them from coupon sites or ebay, people also take all the coupons and peelies from the stores when they are not supposed to. (at least in my area) The longer you coupon the easier it will get.

        • sealey5

I got several packs of wipes at Wal-mart about 2 months ago when they were $2 each, and had the $2 off q's. I get around 10 newspapers so I got 10 packs of Pampers wipes free….but then my sis-law gave me several q's and I got even more. Now I do use these, I have 3 kids and one of them is a 3 month old baby boy :) so i'm always going thru the wipes! I do buy in bulk and when it's free like that how can you pass it up? Even if you don't need it and you're not paying for it anyway there's always someone in need that could definately use the products! :)

    • elizabeth

Just thought I'd mention this–the weight watchers ice cream deal lists a 1.00 off coupon from a publix 'smart savings' circular. I found the coupon, and it's actually a manufacturer's coupon and not a store coupon, and therefore shouldn't be able to be used in conjunction with a manufacturer's coupon from the all you magazine. You can check w/your publix to be sure, but I'm betting that the two can't be used together. Happy couponing! :)

    • Moe_maddie

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all. There are new couponers on here that do not understand how all this works and you're not helping any by being rude to them!

    • Atinel

Just came back from Publix (Florida) and used a printable coupon that was “Buy a gallon of milk AND one pack of nabisco cookies, GET a pack of cookies FREE”. It worked out really well since they are BOGO. I paid for my milk (Lactaid with a coupon) and a pack of Chips Ahoy, and got another pack FREE (BOGO) and then got another pack FREE (coupon), and then another one (BOGO). So I got 4 packs of Chips Ahoy and a gallon of milk for like $5.69!

      • here in FL, you don't actually have to “buy” one when using a BOGO Q on a BOGO sale. The store gives you one and the coupon pays for the other.

        • Atinel

I had to buy one pack b/c the coupon was for “Buy a gallon of milk AND one pack of nabisco cookies, GET a pack of cookies FREE”. Good info though. Last week CVS gave me crap about the Sobe BOGO coupon and wouldn't let me use it… sucked. I dont understand… they are still getting paid for it once they redeem their coupon!

          • keep laying the SoBe game, as they will be BOGO again at CVS in a few weeks.

        • Suemh

Do you mean that I could actually use this coupon and buy a gallon of milk and get 2 packs of cookies free? I am vacationing in West Palm Beach and just left Publix. However, I did not take my coupons with me. I will probably need more milk before the week is out. I have these q's with me. Actually, now that I think about it, that does make sense, since only one of the cookies would ring up at a price and the other would ring up 0. I found Hershey's syrup q's in the store for B2G1 free. Wiyh their B1G1 sale, I got 3 bottles for the price of one.

          • Atinel

You would buy one pack of cookies and one gallon of milk and get 3 packs of cookies free. I did it again tonight.

            • I just did this deal tonight and have done it every month since it began and I got the 2 BOGO cookies for FREE (plus I had a 2nd coupon for the other pack and actually got 1.50 overage). All I actually paid for was the milk. BOGO coupons matched to BOGO sales, here in Florida, mean 2 items for FREE. Like I posted earlier, the store is giving you one and the coupon is paying for the other. It works that way at 6 different Publix I shop at, several CVS, Wags, Target, etc…

          • Check out the Hershey BLiss, as well. There have been $1/1 Q's AND there have been Bliss tearpad Q's by the displays for “Buy2, Get 1” meaning that you'd pay for 1 and get 3 more FREE.

            • Suemh

Can you explain to me how that works? I did not see the Bliss tearpad but will be going back tomorrow and I will look for it. I do have a couple of $1/1 q's.

            • Pick up 4 of the Bliss. The store is giving you 2 of them for FREE. IF you have the tearpad Q, that pays for one. Then, you can use up to three $1/1 for the other Bliss. IF you had 3 of the $1/1 Q's and the tearpad Q, you would pay like 1.29 for all 4 bags. I only have 2 of them and the tearpad, so I'll pay 2.29 for 4 bags.

            • Suemh

Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the Bliss B2G1 Q. Does it work the same way for the cookies and milk scenario below? I REALLY don't understand that one. (Just when I figure it out, it will be time to go home.)

            • I found them on an end cap Hershey display. In FL, the BOGO Q and the BOGO sale for Nabisco works like this: buy 2 cookies and a gallon of milk. Use the FB BOGO coupon AND a $1 or $1.50/1 Q for the cookies and pay approx. 1.79 for all 3. (milk here is 3.39). I did this deal this past week and it worked just like that.

            • Suemh

That's great! Wish I had known that the other day. Oh well. I went back yesterday and picked up 3 more Hershey's syrups. After checking out, I got to thinking that I could actually have gotten 4 for the price of one. It was BOGO and I had a coupon for B2G1. If I had gotten 4, 2 of them would have rung up as 0, then my coupon would have paid for one, leaving only one at 2.19 for me to pay for. Is this correct?

            • yes! Keep that tidbit for future reference!!

            • Suemh

Thanks for confirming. I am back at home in SC now, but I will remember next time. We usually vacation in Florida.

      • Jennifer Clendinen

Where did you find the printable coupon for this? I've not been able to locate it. Would love to get in on this one.

    • Kristen_DH

What was the web site link that used to be one here if you were looking for certain coupons? They had 1000's of them & basically all you paid was postage.

    • I stopped in this evening and saw that the Al Fresco chicken sausages are on sale. 3.99 maybe…? There was a $2 Q out this past month to go with that.

To Nice Lady that came through my step-daughter's line in Publix 2 days in a row – Thanks for recommending this site :)

      • Lloriello

        • Harriette

No-they have tracking codes on them.

        • No, you cannot make photo copies of online coupons. Each coupon is given a designated print limit, usually 2 per IP address for example. In addition, each coupon has a unique ID number.

I went to my Publix close to work (Lexington S.C.) and they do not have the new Bic razors. Is anyone else having this problem? The lady that was stocking the shelves said she hasn't even seen those when I showed her the pic on the coupon. Any ideas? Thanks

      • Atinel

Ours were in a bin at the end of the shampoo aisle. I walked past them while looking for them. My 9 year old spotted them, “They're RIGHT HERE mom! NOW can we go home?!”

    • BOGO the Clown

Cant get Publix to print the Lance Crackers coupon. What is wrong? It doesn't even show on their site, but lists it?????

    • Harriette

Was real excited when I looked through the new yellow advantage flyer when I got to the Lex,SC store to find a coupon for buy 2 Oceanspray blueberry juices and get free blueberries. Better than that, the blue berry juice is on sale for $2 and I'm one of those people that carry all my coupons with me. I was able to get out the $1 Oceanspray blueberry juice coupons last week that we couldn't use, so I got 2 bottles of juice and a pint of blueberries for $2! Also my pkg of Hilshire Farm turkey has a code to enter at the HF site and get $5 in coupons or $5 back if you don't like the meat. Good shopping trip today!

      • Chrissy

Thanks for your comment, Harriette!! I wasn't going to to do this deal because I didn't want to buy the juice unless it was on sale – but now that I have read your comment, I am going to check it out. Thanks again for your help!

I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm new to all of this and couldn't find the answer anywhere. Does anyone know if it is possible for the dates of the inserts to very depending on area? (or has anyone else had this problem?) There are a few things in the SS or RP 7/11 that I wanted to get. Only, when I pulled out that insert to find those coupons, they were nowhere. I have just started this so I don't have a lot of the previous week's coupons to compare and see if I'm just a week off or something. I'm in the Athens, GA area if that helps. Thanks in advance!! :)

      • Kathleen

Sometimes the coupons vary by region (you might get lucky and get an extra coupon, or a higher value coupon or you might miss out on a coupon or get a lower value coupon). If you look back in Jenny's posts, she normally has the ACTUAL coupons that come from each paper. Good luck!

      • Dianne

Get an AJC. They have most of the best coupons.

I just wanted to say that I think Publix is the greatest store (in my area anyway). Wednesday, I went in and first off went to get the BIC razors. The shelves were empty, so I asked one of the cashiers if they had anymore. He checked with the store manager, who in turn told him they were on the truck. Remembering that I missed the last razor sale, and had spotted other binder carring shoppers, asked when they would be stocked. The manager went and had someone bring them right up. After the shelf was stocked, I politley asked if I could get eight, that I didnt want to empty her shelf she just filled. She smiled and handed them to me. Roughly an hour later I walked out with $150.00 in merchandise after paying $55.?? which I thought seemed high. The next morning I actually took time to look at the receipt and noticed that the first 3 razors I got at sale price, however the next 5 I didnt. I pulled up the store site, and looked for the razors. There wasnt anything stating an exact limit, but they did reserve the right to limit. I then bagged the 5 razors up and headed back to the store, with the receipt. The service desk attendant was very pleasant, verified everything, then refunded 1/2 of 4 of the razors, and full price of the 5th. As he handed me 17.?? he appoligized for the inconvience and explained for my trouble I was getting one free. Needless to say I was extremely impressed and greatfull. (For now I got 150.?? for 34.??).

Without reading each response here, (to see if it's already posted), Publix has a 'Hot Summer Savings' booklet that has a $3 off Lysol Healthy Touch No Touch Hand Soap System AND there was a $3 off manf coupon for the same thing within the past 2 weeks! My store wasn't thrilled about me stacking these but I did it…and got 2! Regular price is $14.99, it's on sale for $9.99 and with the 2/$3 off cpns, I got it for $3.99.

      • daisysaver

WHere did you find the $3.00 manuf. coupon at? I'd love to get some of these too.

        • Suemh

When I was in Wal Mart last week, they had these for $6. $3 Q would make them $3.

        • There's supposed to be a $3 in the 7/11 SS. I noticed, on Hot Coupon World's database, that the Walgreens' July coupon booklet has a $5 q as well, which is a better deal than Publix's $3.

      • Pbeachbabe2

Went to Walmart today and they have the no touch on sale for $6!!! With $3 coupon it is $3. Saw this after i got mine at publix. :(

    • Laura

Not a “sale” item but both of my Publix have dropped the regular price on the Finish Quantumatic dispenser kit to $5.00.

I haven't been to Publix this week to see if they have the manuf coupons yet, but today at Kroger they had tear pads for $3.00 off, good until 9/20/10. They are $9.99 at Kroger though so I took a few coupons to use at Publix tomorrow to make them $2 each.

      • Megortiz63

A few weeks ago I bought this item for $1 or $2….and was sorry I had paId anything for it!! I use Finish tabs so I thought I'd get the same results – but it cleaned poorly, even though I relocated the dispenser in my washer several times.

        • Morgan

I'm with you. I got some free a few months back… they don't clean the dishes!

      • sealey5

I know all locations have different inserts but down here the Orlando Sentinel had $3 off Finish Quantumatic Dispenser Kit q's. Hope that helps!

    • Jessica

This past week I presented a couple “Target” coupons I printed from the web at my Publix in Columbia and they no longer accept them. Anyone else have the same issue? :/

      • Atinel

Had this problem in Florida. My store has taken them for a long time, now all of a sudden I was told they dont take them and only take TRUE grocery store coupons.

        • Cedrick

I'm surprised, the store I shop at in Cape Canaveral accepts coupons from just about anywhere. Bjs, Target, CVS, etc…

      • Carrie

Had the same issue trying to use a Target coupon in Lexington, SC

    • Abby

I live in Greenville and my publix does not accept Target coupons either and have not for some time now.

      • Danette

Publix in Spartanburg would not accept the Target coupon either. She told me the store had to be in a 5 mile radius.

    • Brittany

So, I've got a Publix that only accepts certain other store coupons. They told me they go by the other stores around your area. If they are considered a competitor, they will accept the coupon. If the other store is not found for miles, they are not considered a competitor, and will not accept them. I have only found one publix that is about 30 mins away from me, that does accept any other store coupons. So, it just depends on how far you want to drive!! ;)

    • Yvonne

It says that doubling coupons does not happen in Florida. Is that for all stores?

      • There are none that I know of. I live in south FL.

    • Andrea

I have a question regarding printing coupons. For a few certain coupons EVERY time I try to print them over the past few months it says “you've reached the maximum print for this coupon”. I don't have another computer to use to fool it but I thought these were reset every month? How come some won't let me print them & it's been at least 2 months since the last time I printed them. I don't get it. I tried different using different search engines also

      • itismedia

Try clearing your cookies. That may help. They do reset so you shouldn't be having this problem. Maybe that will help. Good luck.

        • happymom

Sometimes it is that the print limit has been reached, meaning no one is able to print that coupon anymore.

    • Kathleen

I found a coupon for $1 off the Kellogg’s FiberPlus cereal here:
http://www.kelloggsfiberplus.com/vote.aspx. Use with the Target 75 cents off coupon for 25 cents per box.

I have another question. I had a 5 off 25 coupon from a comp. this time, but I don't really know where to get those from. Maybe someone can give me a few pointers where they can most likely be found?

    • Lorine Edwards

how do u get this to only print the ones i checked? i just waste a bunch of paper

      • Jodie

After you check everything, click the tab that says “create list”. It will show you a print preview of your list, then click print. HTH.

In this weeks SS there's a rebate where if you spend $50 in one visit (including $25 in ConAgra food), you send off for a $10 Publix gift card. The question is, is this $50 before or after q's? And can you do this deal more than once? Thanks for any comments :)

      • itismedia

Not sure if you can do it more than once, but it is before Q's! =+)

        • sealey5

That's a very good deal then, thank you! :)

        • sealey5

ok I have a dilemma. I spent $45 but saved $48 at Publix in one shopping trip. Are they going to let me get the rebate since technically I would've spent $90+ ? I put it in the mail….hoping to get a $10 rebate check back!

    • Michellelhs

I just got back from publlix and got over $120 worth of stuff for just over $24. I am new here and I just really wanted to thank you all because holy cow, a few weeks ago I would have gladly paid the $120 and just assumed that everyone was paying that much. On top of my fantastic deals I have two rainchecks for the razors which I will get for free whenever they can get them back in. Thanks so much guys, you are al awesome!!

      • sealey5

You go girl! It's fun, isn't it! :)

      • happymom

Watch out… it's addicting! Congrats on your Publix savings. It took me months before I could work out savings like that! :)

    • anhoover

if you are in the publix baby club they just sent out coupons for 2.00 pampers wipes. paid that with a manufacturer's q and it makes for a great deal! Also got a q from publix for 2.00 huggies swimpants which are also on sale.
