    • Wcrssnchr

Sundown Naturals B6 on coupon.com do you know what zip code?i dont see it. thanks

    • gardengirl

      Thanks Jenny!

    • Loueffie

Yay! The gas cards are back!!

    • Kim

There was also a $1.50/1 Philadelphia cooking creme coupon in an in store dispenser a couple of weeks ago…

      • Jacketfan24

I have 15 $1.00 off the cooking creme coupons that my husband got for me at work (demo ended and vendor had leftovers so she gave them to him.) They expire the end of June. I don’t care for the cooking creme, so if anyone wants them, let me know at jacketfan24@yahoo.com. Hate to just throw them away…

      • Kim

I know!! So glad I pulled a few as like cooking with this!!

    • Gingerat30

I have a quick question being very new to the couponing. Since Publix has the bogo free glade candles and I have a coupon save $1.00 on any two. Can I use that for the bogo free or do I have to buy an extra one. Using some of these coupons especially for the bogo really confuses me, but I really need to start saving so any help would be appreciated.

      • Maryljames31

        You can use it

      • darbe

since you are getting 2 candles with the bogo, you can use the coupon off two

      • Cindy_wright

Yes, you can use that coupon on the bogo deal!!

      • Janet

You can use that coupon on just two of them. You don't have to buy an extra. Publix actually charges you 1/2 price for each BOGO item (unless you're in Florida) so you are good!!!

        • Gingerat30

Well I'm in Florida, so how different would it be.

          • I think that you could still use the coupon when you buy 2.

            • Magogo56

You can use two coupons towards a BOGO in Florida.

      • Seaya367

U have to buy two to use that coupon but it will basically take.$.50 off each candle.

      • Emily

You can use it for the 2 that you get on the BOGO deal. You don't have to buy another one. Good luck!! :)

    • Guest

What is “Cat Box Filler”? Is it the same as litter?

      • guest

seems cheap for litter..right?! i hope it is!

      • Jennifer

It is the clay litter. The clumping litter is in the plastic containers. The commercials on tv are for the clumping type. My cats won't use the clay litter.

        • Lana

Great for oil spills in the driveway though.

    • What is the gas cards? Sorry new to this.

      • Maryljames31

There are different ones. Shell and BP are two I have gotten in the past. I like to get the Shell because I can use my Kroger .10 off gas with it!

      • Amy B.

-$10 off $50 Gas Card purchase WYB $25 worth of Groceries

      • Abbielou02

Its a gas card to (For example) BP valued at $50, But if you buy $25 worth of groceries, then you can buy the $50 gas card for only $40!

    • Gamutdesign

Been waiting for this list – thanks so much! and yay! for gas cards!

    • di

Well…. the $1 yoplait frozen yogurt coupons are already out… WOW… some people are so fast as Jenny JUST posted this ad 22 minutes ago.

      • Francomom00

I was just able to print one from each link just now. Maybe try again?

        • Kim

try again!! Make certain pop up blocker off and in Internet Options under your tools take off security setting so you can print these-had to do this to print 2

      • Jenn B

If you 'Like' their page on Facebook you can get a $1 off coupon

        • di

Tried Facebook at the same time and it too said I had already printed.. This also happened last time Publix had the Yoplait Frozen Smoothies at B1G1… They must monitor these sites for a very limited number of prints.

      • Cami

Jenny isn't the only one to post the Publix ad. I know of another site that posts the ad on Monday…I almost ALWAYS check the site to see if there are any coupons that will likely run out before this ad gets posted on Southern Savers. I like Southern Savers better, though, because I can print my shopping list, tailor the list to delete coupons (though, it would be great if we could ADD coupons to the list, especially for non-sale items, or other items we are purchasing), and because of the extensive coupon database. Southern Savers is so much more user friendly, too. I mainly just check iHeartPublix so make my menu, and print what will go fast. If this was posted on Monday, I would have no use for the other site :)

        • Ileana

I do the same exact thing.

      • guest

are the frozen yoplaits on sale too? or just cups?

        • di

oops… I meant to say frozen ‘smoothies’… sorry for the mix up..

    • Elizabeth

One of the links for the Phillips Seafood item…the $1 off takes you to a link for Bayer aspirin! Just thought you might want to check this out! :) Thanks for all of your work!

    • Smurfygrl1979

Is $1.09 a good price for the hot dogs (I can only find the .55 coupon)? I'm trying to stock up on things to take the beach this year. Thanks!

      • kristenk

        I think it's decent… you can't do MUCH better than BOGO w/ a coupon

    • Roxanne

can't get the Glade candle “printable” coupon to print…keep getting a msg that says “missing parameters”. :/ Also….how can we “gently lead” our Publix cashier through the BOGO on Crystal Light with a Buy 2 Get 1 free coupon? I see a lot of confusion, errors, etc on that one! Any suggestions?

      • EC

in Fl (true BOBO) the way I understand it to take advantage of the coupon, you would buy 2 at full price, then get 3 free (2 for the sale and 1 for the coupon). The cashier would write the full price amount on the coupon to be reimbursed by the mfr. In half price BOGO, you will buy 2 at half price and get another free with the coupon. The cashier would write the 1/2 price down on the coupon to be reimbursed by the mfr.

    • Notab4

I've never bought the American express card. Is it good almost anywhere? And do you have to have $25 of groceries or can I buy it separately? Thanks!

      • Joynunez24

Yes the American Express card is basically a pre-paid credit card and can be used anywhere American Express is accepted. You do have to pay a $4.95 fee to activate though. Yes you do have to purchase $25 in groceries to get the $10 off. But if you just want to purchase the card it will be $50.

        • Superchelsea

Actually you only have to buy $25 worth of groceries for the gas card, not the AMEX.

      • tampatwinmom

good anywhere that takes a AM Ex credit card. You do have to buy the groceries, mine says $25/ per every card you want to buy. they sell out fast too, I had to do a rain check last time and keep the recipet I had from that day to show over $50 to buy two.

        • tampatwinmom

oops- I said wrong- to buy the am ex, no groceries, you can jsut buy them (some stores limit to one per customer per viset though- mine let me get 2). the $25 is for the gas cards, which stillis a better deal since the am ex activation charge is almost $5 and the gas cards are no activiation charge.

It's good anywhere that accepts american express. and no you don't have to have 25 in groceries. all you need is the coupon itself. hth…

    • Anyone else find it weird that one of the largest cities in the south (Birmingham) gets left out of most of the good SS and RP coups? I found 1 out of 5 that I looked for in the list above. It's getting to the point I don't even want to waste my time looking for it.

      • Lisa Jane Langley

I'm in Lex, SC but it seems I hardly ever get toothpaste coupons! I guess they think we are all hillbillies and don't need to brush our gums?! ;)

        • emerson

i agree the birmingham paper has been wishy washy lately on coupons they used to have more than the tuscaloosa news in my area but now you may get the inserts in birmingham or not so i had to resort to buying the tuscaloosa news again to get that guarentee on coupons

      • Lana

Greenville, SC gets crummy coupons too.

      • Angie8220

yea thats weird in Atlanta we get all the coupons and no shortage of paper. Did you call the newspaper to find out why?

      • alainafaith

We (Birmingham) NEVER get the Huggies coupons!! I feel your pain.

      • Anonymous

We get the Chattanooga paper, and seems we hardly ever have the coupons listed on this site. I’m grateful for the printable coupons, which do help to bring down the grocery bill.

    • Latina628

In new to the coupon thing, So what do they mean by the “Green Adv. Flyer” for publix

      • Joynunez24

The Green Flyers come out once a month, I beleive. And they are usually located next to the weekly sales ads in the store. They will also come out in the Sundy Paper. There is a Green Flyer (Health & Beauty) and a Yellow Flyer (food & grocery).

        • Joynunez24

Oh and they are all Publix coupons which are used along with manufacture coupon

    • couponshawn

Yeah, Cat Litter for .14 — I am over here doing the Carlton dance, whoo hoo!! (that's a Fresh Price of BelAir reference, if you were wondering, lol)

      • Joynunez24

Yay! I know me too! I am in need of some kitty litter. Doing the cabbage patch! Oh yea! Sorry I get a “little” crazy when it comes to coupons :)

    • Barbara

John Frieda product coupon is not in SS 5/01. Or at least not mine. :(

      • Lauren

I can't find it either (Birmingham, AL) Sad! I love that shampoo

        • Megan

There is a Target printable for $3/2 any John Frieda and also a Publix q for $2/1. :)

      • Squirrelhater

In Spartanburg paper, near the bottom of a page is Frieda Root Awakening–$3 off,but not “any Frieda product”…..maybe same for you?

        • Megan

My $1 off “any” was on the page after the Root Awakenings q.

      • I had 3 john frieda coupons in my SS

        • Megan

          Me too.

    • Aubrey

Thanks Jenny! Wanted to let you know that there was a coupon in the SmartSource on 4/10 for buy a Birds Eye Voila meal (BOGO this week) get a FREE Family Size Birds Eye Veggie. Pair that with the BOGO and $0.50 coupon and you get two meals for cheap and a free veggie to go along. :)

      • Megan

That q is for the Family Size which is unfortunately not bogo :(

    • Ilovewdw

Honest Tea FB coupon is out.

    • sshad

Not happy with their sales this week. I am glad I went to Kroger on Monday, I saved bunches!

    • Lacey

Does anyone know if the $25 required purchase for the gas card deal is before or after coupons?

      • susansaver

Typically it's before coupons, that's been my experience in the past.

      • Superchelsea

    • Buffer0a

Are you charged sales tax on the am ex or gas cards?

      • Jan

I have never been charged sales tax on one, but it might depend on your area?? (I live in Atlanta)

      • Firgodes7

To my knowledge there is not a sales tax , but the american express does requires a 5 dollar activation fee.

      • Kmay

I think last time I got an am ex card with this Publix deal I ended up paying negative sales tax because the $10 off coupon rang up as taxable but the card itself wasn't taxable. Weird.

    • Malloryanne

how do you know if sales start on 5/4 or 5/5?

      • itismedia

It depends on where you live. I live in Savannah, GA and this area starts on Thursdays.

      • Brighteye_76

Just call your stort and ask when they start the new add each week.

      • Skdoss76

Try looking at the fine print on the bottom of one of the paper Publix ads. Here in Atlanta, we have stores north of the city that start their sales on Wed., and stores in the city/south of the city that start their sales on Thursdays. Confusing, yes! HTH though! :)

    • itismedia

I have to say, I am so happy the ad is back to starting and ending when it is suppose to! I hate the times of year when they do extended ads. I always forget and I do not handle change very well! haha =+)

    • Ahulsey9206

There is a Target printable for Crystal Light drink mix ($1/3)

    • Lrcrews13

Is there a limit on how many gas cards you can purchase?

      • Hotcopper

I believe all in add offers say one coupon per purchase/per coupon. So this week you could get one box diapers, one american express, one set of three greeting cards, and one gas card all during the same check out trip 9spend $25 for the gas card). if you want more you'd have to send your hubby through or make a separate trip and you have to spend $25 each trip you make to get a gas card.

      • SC30215

I don't believe so- just break your purchase into $25 blocks to get one with each separate purchase. Last time this was offered, my store ran out of cards before the end of the sale, though.

    • Rachel1318

Where do you get the green ad flyer?

    • Jessica

I did not find the Power of Fruit coupon in the Spring Greenwise magazine. Could this be regional? I live in Greenville, SC.

      • Jessica

        Nevermind, I found it.

    • T-town mom

The gift cards are great to send to Tuscaloosa and other tornado affected areas… Not only can they be used to buy needed things they will also help the local economy which is getting hit hard too. Gift cards can be sent to almost any local charity or church.

    • Megan

May ALL YOU mag q for Bird's Eye Voila is for Family Size which is not on sale :(

      Kraft Cooking Creme $1.50/1 SS 3/6/11 exp. 5/31/11 :)

Hallmark Cards $1/3 Target printable q if your store considers Target a competitor and allows you to stack. :)

FREE John Frieda Root Awakenings Shampoo/Conditioner if your store considers Target a competitor and allows you to stack a store q with a competitor q:

      1 Root Awakenings Shampoo $5.49
      1 Root Awakenings Conditioner $5.49

      – (1) $2/1 any John Frieda Publix Green Advantage Buyer q
      – (2) $3/1 John Frieda Root Awakenings q
      – (1) $3/2 any John Frieda q

      FREE :)

      • Megan

Forgot to put where those coupons came from!

        $3/1 Root Awakenings SS 5/1
$3/2 John Frieda Target printable q

      • Landrethelaine

How does this work b/c the $3/2 puts a store coupon on both items, and then you can only use 2 more manufactur. coupons. This doesn't add up to free. New hear and trying to figure it out. Thanks for any help!

        • Megan

That's why I said *if* your store allows you to stack a manufacturer q, a store q and a competitor q. Some do, some don't. Hope that helps! :)

          • Landrethelaine

My store does allow stacking, but the $3/2 is a store coupon and when a coupon is for 2, doesn't that mean that both coupons now have a store coupon on it? Then you can add another manuf. coupon to each item, but even still, you don't use all of the coupons. Sorry if I'm slow. I just thought that stacking meant one store and one manf. coupon. Could explain further. Thank you very much for your patients:)

            • Megan

You got it, some stores allow stacking of a manu q a store q and a competitor q. :)

            • Megan

You got it, some stores allow stacking of a manu q a store q and a competitor q. :)

    • Joanna

Does Publix allow you to use 2 manufacturers coupons on bogo? And if you use both and a credit is created can you use that towards the rest of the grocery bill? Better yet will they double coupons on bogo deals?

      • Megan

Yes you can use 2 manu q's on bogo deals, yes you can use the overage towards the rest of your cart. Not sure about double q's since I live in FL but I'm sure someone else will answer that for you :)

      • Cathy

Where I am in GA (around Henry & Fayette Counties, and even in Macon) the answer to all of those are YES! They allow a manufacturer coupon for EACH item, so on a BOGO you can use 2 coupons (since they really only charge you half price for 1 item anyway); yes you can use the overage, and they double all coupons that have a face value of 50cents or less. A few of the many reasons I love shopping Publix.

        • Mrscori2006

thanks for posting this info…I live in Henry county and shop at Publix but didn't know their coupon policy

        • Bnbrown0903

Publix around henry co will be stopping using coupons on BOGO items, the cashier told me since the extreme couponing show people are going nuts and abusing the coupons, so they are getting a coupon system similar to kroger!!! I hate that some have people have to ruin for those of us do things right.

          • couponshawn

I think its individual per store… The Bethlehem, GA store near me takes any coupon I hand them, and yes two for BOGO items making them free, but the store in Winder, GA (only 5 miles away) are coupon Nazi’s -I actually had a verbal altercation with the manager this past weekend who refused to use my BOGO coupon on a BOGO item and said I would be practically stealing it and she would NOT have that!

          • jennaj81

which Henry CO store? I go to the Locust Grove store and they are awesome about coupons! I hope it’s not them!

          • jennaj81

which Henry CO store? I go to the Locust Grove store and they are awesome about coupons! I hope it’s not them!

        • Bryarsmom

I've been doing really well this week on the Honest Tea deal…you get a free Publix bag wyb 4, plus I've been using the BOGO HT Q and the $1. off HT Q's. These are great if you are working on ways to up your totals with the Publix $5/30 coupon we got.

    • Couponing Rocks!

Quick gas card question. Is it one per transaction limit or can you do the deal for each 25.00 you spend? For example, if I buy 100 in groceries can I also get 4 – 50.00 gas cards, so do I have to break it up into 4 – 25.00 transactions?

      • Firgodes7

As long as you buy the required $25.00 in groceries you are good to go. So if you buy $100.00 you can get the 4 gas cards.

I work for Publix. And that is what was on the hand out I got last week,

        • carrie

I hope my Publix received the same hand out because in the past they've only let me do one card per transaction. That has caused me to break up my transactions – what a pain.

          • Alanakaye

Me too. Last time my store only let us do 1 per person

            • Firgodes7

I work in Georgia, so it may be different in another state. Not sure on that.

            • Firgodes7

It may be different for other state’s. I work in Georgia.

      • Regina1963_tn

I was told at my Publix in Tennessee that you can get one gas card for every $25 you spend. And, yes, if you buy $100 in one transaction, this particular store will let you purchase 4 gas cards. The customer service person told me it depends on the store and what the manager decides on this matter. It's definately worth asking for! Good luck!

        • Couponing Rocks!

I'm in Ooltewah, TN, so hopefully that will be there philosophy. I will definitely ask customer service when I pick up my coupons.

    • Andy

In last Wed paper, Hixson/Chatt had a store q for -$5/$30 purchase good thru 5/10. Anyone else get this?

      • Bkny63

Yes. I got this coupon last week in between some flyers that got delivered. Mine is good through 5/7. I'm in Atlanta

        • Minpinfin

I got a $5/30 Publix Q last Thrusday with my inserts in the driveway-it was on the back of a Sring Cleaning flyer. Good until May 11th.Actually-8 of them :)

          • Rebecca

            Shoot! I didn’t get that. Waaahhhh! :)

      • Amy

I did, I was about to post it for trade, do you need one?

        • DonnaChas

What did you have in mind for trading?

          • Amy

I only trade coupons for coupons. I have an ISO list… I'll just go ahead and post it in the Community group and you can let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

      • Angie G

I got one while on Vacay in Pensacola, FL and had one waiting for me at home in North AL!

    • kristenk

I still have the pretzel crisps printable from a while back… BOGO, exp 5/31. Garlic parmesan flavor is very good!

      • sharon60

I'm sure I'm blind, but where are those on the above list, what category? My computer is acting up and I'm having a hard time moving up and down. I have a coupon too and it would be great to use it.

        • Ahpeal

Sharon60, it's the 2nd item listed under the Grocery section. Hope this helps!

          • sharon60

            Thanks, I appreciate that.

      • Elizabeth M.

Thanks! I do too and totally looked over that! :)

    • Peggy

Does anyone know how much the family size bag of Voila costs?

      • Trish

It cost me $6.99 at Wal-Mart yesterday, -$2 off coupon it was $4.99:)

        • Peggy

Thanks. Wow, what a difference between your Wal-Mart and Kristin's!

          • Anonymous

I think Kristin gave you the price for a regular size package. The family size is a lot bigger.

    • hbarbree

where do I get the Yellow and Green Advantage coupons?

      • Peggy

Look for the flyers at customer service or ask them if you don't see them out.

      • PoofyBoutique

They usually have them by the door with the weekly ad. I even get them in my paper sometimes.

    • Crystal light .50/2 tearpad ex 21/31/11
pepsi .50/1 any one peelie on product…makes it 25 cents!

      • Jarrod

        where is this coupon?

    • Agt050

I am having a problem with printing my coupons it keeps telling me that it is having a problem with my printer or one of the settings. I have changed my printer to the be the default. I just got this new Mac from a pc . I used the printer with my pc with no problems. Can anyone please help!!!!

      • Savings4allens

I have the same problem on some coupons. I go a head and hit the continue button ( I think) and it will still print. Try that and let us know if it works.

      • Angie G

I have to print coupons using Safari (the MAC browser). Hope that helps.

      • Guest

I had that problem last week, but I'm on a PC. I just re-started my computer, and everything worked fine after that.

    • Greg

When a store doubles a coupon, are they eating that loss, or is the manu. suppose to reimburse for it? Just wondering why manu. would put “do not double” on a coupon if the store was picking up the tab.

      • Angie G

The store takes the loss for getting your business.

      • Homeisthebeachnow

I've heard many companies don't want the doubling of coupons because it some how “cheapens” their product. Cheap as in how the product is viewed (not savings wise)

    • emerson

Jenny could you address the 10/50 gas cards i see where some say even an employee that you can get 1 per 25.00 spent but i dont want to go to the register with my groceries all separated if its one per person or mix my groceries together if you can do it one trans

      • Stirfry101

Just walk up to the customer service desk before you start your shopping, and ask the manager on duty which way they prefer you do it.

    • Ruth

Yahoo…Gas card deal is back!! LOVE!!

    • Asteff

Where can you get the Kraft Foods First Taste of Home Mailer?

      • Amber

You would need to sign up for the Kraft First Taste program. http://www.kraftfirsttaste.com/

Once you are registered you will need to log in to your account periodically, respond to “offers” and then they will mail you your coupons. Not everyone gets every offer. I just got my coupon for a free bag of “touch of philly” cheese today :)

        • Asteff

        • Anonymous

Do they email you stuff to respond to? I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anything fromt them but I am a member. What types of stuff do you have to do for them to send you stuff?

      • Anonymous

        Oops, wrong reply.

    • Gmherndon

I can't find the -$2 off Pedigree dog food, 8.8 lbs + printable or RP 5/01
(makes it $8.99) online and of course it's NOT in my RP. Anyone got a zip code that works for that? Thanks!

    • guest

Why can I not find the Phazyme or Sundown Naturals Coupons?!! Are they no longer available?

      • Lauren

The Phazyme coupon is sneaky. It's on the very back page of the Green Adv. Flyer (“Beautiful Savings for Mom” on front) and it's the third coupon down on the right. The word Phazyme is in the description, but there isn't a picture of it on the coupon (picture is Os Cal and Ecotrin, etc). It's very easy to miss! Hope this helps

(and I see the Sundown coupon on this same page, 5th coupon down. Same thing–no picture of Sundown, but it says Sundown in the description)

        • guest

I’m sorry, I should have clarified. I was referring to the manufactuers coupon links. Is there a particular zip code I should be using for the coupons.com? And I’m not finding the Target one either?

I saw on Hot coupon world that Frito lay snacks, assorted, 20-22 count was bogo 5.99 but dont see it on here, anyone know if its actually on sale or not?

      • brooke lane

i was wondering too! i hope they are!

        • brooke lane

okay.. just checked the site that I saw it on before.. and it says they're 5.99 not on bogo though :-/ booo

          • Maria

Hot Coupon World has them as BOGO 5.99 (3.00) may be a typo, hope not

    • Anna

Ugh, my Publix is a nightmare when it comes to couponing. Tonight I (first of all) made the mistake of sending my husband with the Southern Savers list. Cashier said register wouldn’t take my printed Galviscon manuf coupon, then the Sundown B6 vitamins rang up as 5.89 not 3.59, we had 11 Soleil shaver coupon and no rainchecks were offered (ok that was my husbands fault for not asking – and mine for sending him in the first place-ha, ha!). Oh, and this was after dealing with a nasty Publix worker who was p.o.ed a few days ago because we “took” a bunch of “her” razors and told the customer service cashier that I wasn’t allowed to use two coupons for each razor. I quickly told her to look at her stores policy and yes it is correct to use a Publix coupon with a manufactured coupon. Ugh! I know never will let me husband go to the store again (I wasn’t feeling that great and I was thinking the sale was ending tonight as the 5/4 ad starts tomorrow BUT I guess I better have a talk with the manager..would you??

    • Danielle

I would check your local Kroger for the Simply Smart milk first. My Kroger sells it for $2.67 and the $1 off would make it $1.67. Not a ton of savings but some.

    • Landrethelaine

Will you explain how this works? I understand the stacking, but the $3/2 covers both items and then you can only use two other manufact. coupons. This only totals to $9. I thought that if a coupon is for two items then you could not use another coupon on either of them unless you are stacking a manufact. or store. Thanks for any help!

      • Landrethelaine

This is in reference to the John Frieda shampoo/conditioner for free.

        • Megan

The $3/2 covers both items, yes. And it is a competitor coupon. The $3/1 covers one item, another $3/1 covers another item. They are manufacturer q's. The Publix $2/1 is a store q and will cover one item. *IF* your store allows you to stack a manu q, a store q and a competitor q that is how they are both free :)

          • Landrethelaine

I get it! LOL! I did not know that some stores allow you to use a store and a competitors coupon. Thank you very much for the help!

    • Betty Ware

There is a $5 off 30 coupon. Iam new. Is this before or after coupons and can I use the gas card with this?

      • Jarrod

        where is this coupon?

        • leann

I found it in the newspapers theat we get in the driveway!

      • Angie8220

Yes there is a $5 off $30 it came in the mail and I believe it excludes gift cards

    • Jarrod

Does Publix take American Express? If so, can I buy like 4 of these for $40 off? Also, where do you buy these, customer service?

      • Jlashon21

Publix does accept American Express (credit cards) as a form of payment. Your local Publix should have a gift card stand near customer service.

      • tampatwinmom

well, yes BUT they are not activated for I think like 6-24 hours, good for the next shopping trip! And yes, you can with mine you have to have a coupon for each one, but the coupon is in the free flyer in the front. Can buy at customer service or at teh register at mine :)

        • Liz30420

They are activated instantly. I buy these all the time.

    • Jajohnson0527

Is a coupon needed for the $10 off $50 gas card?

      • Jlashon21

Yes, you must have yoour coupon present in order to receive the $10 off. You can find the coupon in the weekly ad.

    • Jarrod

      where is this coupon?

    • Jarrod

How does this work b/c the $3/2 puts a store coupon on both items, and then you can only use 2 more manufactur. coupons. This doesn't add up to free. New hear and trying to figure it out. Thanks for any help!

    • How many “like” coupons can you use at publix?

      • Lana

        No limit.

      • Tigress1321

I don't know if they have a limit and if so it might be decided by your store. I know I have used 10 in one transaction with absolutely no problems,

    • Fairyandgnome

Ok.. none of my Publix stores have the coupon on the classico jars.. neither did my moms.. So I am guessing this is a regional thing..

      • tampatwinmom

there were peelies a while back on pasta. and also some hangtags on some wine bottles that were on sale about a month ago. I have not seen them for a while now.

        • Fairyandgnome

Thanks.. that stinks for me.. I NEED pasta sauce right now. LOL. I have 50 boxes of pasta.. no sauce ><

          • couponshawn

I found some like 10days to 2 weeks ago on the Ronzoni Quick Cook Pasta, none of the other Ronzoni had the coupons on them… maybe look at the boxes all the way to the back of the shelves, there might be some hidden back there! I am soooooo glad I grabbed them when I saw them, I KNEW that Classico would go on sale again soon ;)

            • Sooo are you saying you pulled the peelies off the boxes that you didn't purchase, Just asking or was it like the coupon that are on the self…

            • Joynunez24

I took mine off the pasta boxes (that I did not purchase at that time). My personal rule is that if there are several peelies then I take no more than 4. If there are only a few then I take 2. I do not peel every peelie off and not leave for others. But this was a while back when the peelies were available.

            • Danielle

IMO that is so wrong to just take the peelie coupons from products you dont buy. Your personal rule does not make it right either. I guess you would approve of the person who went to a grocery store and cut the coupons off the boxes of cereal and put them back on the shelf. And people wonder why coupon values are going down and stores are cracking down on coupon policies.

            • ChristyR

I don’t agree…I would never take more than a few but I WILL buy that product before the coupon expires. As long as your intention is to buy the product, why would it matter WHEN you buy it?

            • So, is it okay to cut coupons off boxes and put it back on the shelf if you will eventually use the product?

If it were meant for just anyone to have, it would be a tearpad or a blinkie.

            • That’s still rude. You prevented people who are actually buying the product from using the coupon.

      • Danielle

I think those coupons were in my papers. If you want to email me danielle.sudduth@yahoo.com I will check when I get home.

    • Megan

Publix DOES accept AMEX. It is in their Q & A online.

    • jenjim4

Ok, so I'm thinking about this way too hard and now I'm confused if I get the Edwards singles dessert in order to make it .49 each would I need (2) 1/1 coupons? One for the one im going to purchase and another for the free one, right?

      • Angie8220

Yes that is how it works. If your in Atlanta I know bogo is really just half price so, if something is $3 bogo then its just a $1.50 a piece so you can use two coupons. hth

    • Guest

Anyone from the Augusta area have any luck finding the John Freida coupon??

      • I'm in Middle TN and can't find it!

      • Guest

I live in the Greenville SC area and it was in our Sunday coupons.

      • Beth

I am in Augusta and I have noticed that we miss out on quite a few of the “good” coupons. Wonder what's up with that???

    • Leaz

There is also a printable Target coupon for $1 off Crystal Light. You can stack it with the mfr coupon! That will make for some FREE product!

      • Savingmoneyinflorida

        That coupon expired 4/30 :(

        • ileana

          Mine exp 5/28 for $1/3…..

    • Leaz

There's also a one page coupon flyer at publix that has a $2 off Venus razor coupon. You can stack this with the $2 off mfr coupon and get them for $3.69!

      • kjmiller

Thanks! I bought some Venus refills this week (good deal at Rite Aid), but didn't have the razor yet. Thanks for the heads-up!

    • Timetosavetogether

Where do I find the “Publix Green Adv. Flyer'?

      • couponshawn

They have them in the big Ad Spinner they have in the entry way or just inside the doors at most of the Publix by me, but one store keeps them at the customer service desk and you have to go ask for one because they said too many people were taking multiple copies and not leaving any for others to use…. good luck!

      • TNDelta

They are usually located at the front of the store with other Publix circulars such as the “Yellow Adv Flyer”. Just as the Customer Service Desk.

      • Sandy in SC

I have to go to the customer service desk –used to be at the spinner but I think they were getting raided by those that would take handfuls and leave none for the rest of us.

    • mjw3i

This question may have already been asked, but the Whole Fruit Fruit Bars has a $1 off Publix Green Wise Printable listed next to it, however I am unable to find it. Could someone please tell me where I could find that out? Thanks!!!

      • colleen

sometimes they only put these coupons in the Green Wise magazines that are mailed out to you I think…you can sign up to get these on the publix website…

    • Amyjmackay

Please explain the gas card to a newbie! Can they be used anywhere, are they purchased like a gift card? Also is the 25$ before or after coupons? Thanks so much :)

      • saven

In previous instances, the cards are to specific gas stations. Shell was a popular option last go around because some Shell stations honor the Kroger 10 cents/gallon off discount which, combined with the money saved on buying the gas card, made it an extra good deal. Even if those are gone, you're still saving 20% at the tank which is a better deal than you'll get anywhere else. GO early though, my store ran out of the $50 cards quickly and the deal is not any good on other denominations. HTH!

        • heidi

My Publix honored the receipt with coupon for the $10 off $50 gas card last time ~ no matter how late, as it was several weeks after the promotion when they were finally restocked with BP gas cards for more than 30 minutes.

      • Saven

Oops! I missed your other question…the $25 is before coupons!

    • Denamrgn

Im in summerville sc and just heard that publix no longer takes target, riteaid, walgreens…ect Has anyone else heard this?

      • Dawnb218

yes this is true for the Publix on corner of Dorch. and Ashley Phos.

      • Epeyton24

I'm not sure about the summerville store… I don't like going to that one anyway. I do know that as of tonight the Goose Creek location does, and I haven't heard anything about them changing.

      • Shmoopie202

the one in knightsville took my walgreen one last week. not a big fan of trolley rd publix

      • Sandy in SC

My Publix in Easley will not take Walgreens q's as they don't consider them a traditional competitor. :(

      • Ashleekositz

yes… I know the one on dorchester doesnt..but jedburg still does… they said they will until further notice and will post signs etc.

    • blessedinSC

Will Publix let me use a $5 off $30 Publix q AND a competitor (Bilo) $5 off $50? Ours normally takes Bilo q's.

      • Val

This will be up to the discretion of your store manager so, you're going to have to inquire at your own store.

I can tell you that at my Publix they will, as long as you have $80 worth of products before coupons. :)

      • Amber

You would prob have to do two transactions, so your total (before coupons) would need to be $80.

    • Quinnipoo13

does anyone know where i can print the coke coupon
      1/2 coupon

      • Carra

Don't worry about printing it for this sale. It's for $1/2 20 oz cokes – not for the size included in this sale.

    • cg

Do you know what will be included in the new Yellow Adv. Flyer? :-)

    • couponshawn

I saw $1.50 off Chicken WYB Philly Cooking Cream on packages of fresh chicken in the meat department earlier TODAY! Add that to the $1.50 off Cooking cream and you've got a really great deal!!

      • Joynunez24

Yes! I saw those a few weeks ago and grabbed a couple waiting for a good sale. Now I can use them! Thanks for letting us all know.

        • Jim

That is soooooo wrong. The peelie is only yours if you buy the product to which it is attached at the same time. Taking them today to use at a later date is stealing and the stores and fellow shoppers will call you on it if they see you do it.

          • Lovelola007

It's not stealing. There's NOTHING in the coupon rules that say you can't take them. It's just the opposite. They put them out there because they want us to take them. Now taking all of them would be rude but just taking 1 or 2? There's nothing wrong with that

            • Chalk it up to personal opinion but mine is that it belongs to the product, and until you buy the product, it’s the stores. Taking it would be stealing it from the rightful owner who purchases it.

If they WANTED you to take it, it would be a blinkie or tearpad.

Why go through the extra cost of peelies if they WANTED people to pull them off?

            • Lovelola007

I guess it’s just a difference in opinion but I can tell you that I’ve never paid for a coupon and the way you put it makes it sound like you have to pay for the coupon. Plus , every coupon blog I’ve been to condones taking peelies and they all seem to agree that it’s ok because there’s nothing that says you have to purchase a product to take the peelies.

            • Lovelola007

Also , I’ve never seen anything on a peelie coupon that states that it’s only good for that exact package that it came from.

            • frugalnurse

I have seen peelies say something like “save .50 on THIS product”? How would the store feel if you took a peelie of the product on their shelf and use it at a different store?

            • Lovelola007

If I were to use it at a different store it would only be because the price is better in which case the original store needs to lower their prices to match the other store or risk losing a sale on an item that I found a great deal on elsewhere. And ,trust me , the owners of these stores are doing MUCH better than we are or else THEY would be doing the couponing and WE would be the store owners , so if they are seriously concerned about me using it at another store then they need to price match or lower their prices. And when it says on “this” product it means just that. If the coupon is on a 12 oz box of shake’n’bake and is good on any 12 oz box of shake’n’bake , that doesn’t mean I have to use it on THAT particular box. Don’t get me wrong here , just sitting there and taking ALL the peelies off the product is horribly rude (but still not illegal in any way) , but just taking one or 2 is not the same thing. I’d honestly be interested to hear what Jenny has to say on the situation and wether or not she’s ever taken a peelie or wine tag? But it is my understanding that most succesful couponers do.

            • I think in Jenny’s Video she says not to take them…

            • Lovelola007

which video is that? Is there a link?

    • Fairyandgnome

Im looking in my SS from 4/17 and dont see the Maalox coupons.. can someone please confirm if its really there or if thats another typo and its in another insert please! Thanks!

      • Ultrabextr

there were 2 SS on 4/17. one had two maalox q's in it, the other had none. HTH

      • Dawn

I didn't get the Maalox Q either (Atlanta Journal).

    • Burrage814

There is an old printable coupon (you would have to have it in your file) for $2/1 Bird’s Eye Voila Family Size Item. It was from coupons.com and Exp. 5/19/2011

    • Comrlg

I would like to know about how to get a coupon in the mail. I have seen people with them but I don't know where to sign up. I have checked the publix website but can't seem to find it anywhere… any help please?

    • There are several ways you can get Publix coupons. 1) by going to the publix website and clicking the “clubs and savings” link near the top of the page. Another way is to get them in the store (always ask at the customer service desk because alot of times they don't put them out) The booklets in the mail to your home sometimes have more coupons in them than the store editions so make sure you join all the applicable Publix Clubs & programs on the site. Hope that helps!

      • oops – this was supposed to have been a reply to Comrlq's question. Hmmm.

    • Where did everyone get the $5 off $30 coupon??

      • Fromkhadja

It came in our free Wednesday paper. It was in the new Publix ad for this week. I think it is in the regular newspaper too. Keep an eye out for the next one.

        • Bubby

I'm as confused as Laurie … I got the Wednesday Publix ad and don't see a coupon for $5 orr $30.

          • Ssmith

It is on the back of a Publix booklet that says “Spring Cleaning Sale.” It was an insert in last Wednesday's paper. Some people got them as mailers.

          • Momofthree

In our free local paper there was a Publix insert with the coupon. I'm in Mt. Juliet TN.

      • ponygirl19

you can also purchase them on ebay… you get more than one per auction. I got 5 of them for $3.

    • Star

hi! can anyone help me? im new to couponing and im not familiar with Publix… do they have a rewards/ membership card?

      • Ssmith

No rewards card. Their card links to Upromise and you get money on your Upromise account with certain purchases.

      • Marina115

No membership card but the best thing about Publix is their B1G1 deals and their generous coupon policy! I'll take Publix over any other grocery store out there! Happy Shopping!

P.S.: you can get a Upromise card at customer service and load certain coupons on it that are applicable at any grocery store as long as you register them (ingles, kroger, cvs, rite aid etc). Then you get small deposits in your upromise account. When you have a certain amount, you can request a check!

    • Burrage814

For King's Hawaiian rolls, there is another coupon to match w/your Publix Q. It is in SS 4/17. Not sure if it is regional or not (Northeast GA) This makes them $0.50 (if I did the math right). :-)

      • EC

that coupon excludes the 4 count rolls which are the ones on sale.

        • Couponing Rocks!

I had this coupon and it only excluded the 4 count dinner rolls, which are different from the four count snacker rolls, so you can use it. I bought 2 packs, used the manufacturer and the publix one and got both packs for 1.00.

    • ponygirl19

can someone help me. “I can't believe it's not butter” says $1.59 and Jenny has “use the dollar off and it makes it 44 cents…. what am I missing here ?

I am planning my first major coupon-ing trip on Friday and I had butter down…. I think I have to delete that item and find another now. I included it as 44 cents and can't figure out how to get it for that. Thanks.

      • Val

I think she just made a math error. If it's $1.59 and you have $1q you will get it for .59 cents. Still a good deal.

      • Hinckley1978

Not sure why there's a difference there but I do know from experience there are some price discrepancies from store to store and in the different regions. We have 2 Publix stores near me and the juice I buy for my kids is $.39 less at the store 2 miles further…so a $.19 difference when it's BOGO. If you are going to plan it down to the penny you'll probably need to do your own price checking at your store.

    • Xxosurfer

Can someone please tell me how to get the $5 off Gerber Goodstart formula “in-ad” coupon??? I was at publix yesterday & I got the last sunday paper & it wasnt in either one…Im a newbe!!!

      • ponygirl19

I got it in the NEW ad starting today or tomorrow. It is in mine. Lexington, SC

      • RUBIES20

      • EC

the “in-ad” coupons are found in the actual Publix ad circular, these are mailed to me every Tuesday, but they are in the turnstyles by the front door or at customer service.

    • Jnewell86

The link to the $1 off Philips' product coupon is pulling up a Rite Aid Bayer coupon.

    • Mgjunk101

you listed the Olay Foaming Face Wash @ $2.79 there will be olay face wash on sale but the coupons in the insert are only for Olay Regenerist. Which would be $6.49 on sale plus the $3 off Q would make them $3.49 Just wanted to let you know.

    • Erinn

Anyone else missing the Oscar Mayer Hot Dog Q in the 4/10 SS?

      • Nanhancan

I have looked through all of my inserts twice! I thought I was alone ;) I get the AJC.

        • kristyi

I get the AJC & didn't have it either.

    • Canthis1

You can pick up a $1.00 coupon for the Philadelphia cooking cream at the Apron's sinple meals booth in all publix stores, starting Thursday. The manufacturer has provided coupons and recipe books to go along with this week's Apron's recipe, which uses this product! the recipe is 'Creamy Chicken Florentine Bake', and looks like a good one!

      • Danyeln

I snagged one of the recipe booklets at my store over the weekend. Some really neat stuff in there. I am making a list to try the Country frittata.

    • Amanda

Where should I go to print the coupon for the “I can't believe it's not butter?” I liked the facebook page, but do not see the coupon. Thanks!

      • Steve

Trr it again you do not have to like it. It was on the first page that came up. I printed off 2. good luck

        • Amanda

          Got it! Thanks, Steve!

    • guest

Not sure about this: Whole fruit is Bogo at 2.99, there is the .50/1 coupon, How does this make each one .49?

      • guest

looking back, a lot of the math is deceiving for fla residents..i think she doubles the coupons because if you look at yoplait smoothies it says 3.19, with a dollar off would be 2.19 or 1.10 each.

        • julie

Yes- it is with the coupon doubled. You would get 2 for 2.99 with the coupon then if you have 2 coupons you would get $2 off which makes the total .99.

        • cg

To be fair to Jenny, she is not “deceiving” anyone. Plain and simple, it stinks to live in FL where your coupons don’t double, but it would be a huge pain for Jenny to have to make a clarification on every single 50 cent or less coupon that she mentions that it is different for Florida. You can either do the math yourself or find a different blog that caters to FL shoppers. This blog has many more readers in the land of doubles than in the land of no-doubles.

      • If your stores do not double you have to do the math yourself :(

      • lalalandadventures

If you live in a state that doubles then the 50 cent coupon would double to $1 off.

    • Found a coupon for the Viola Skillet meals ($1 off) at http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=yednaja97751552&bt=vg&o=86122&c=BE&p=XsceZPFL

My question, can I pair this with the “Free Birds Eye Steamfresh family size vegetables WYB Viola family size, 24 oz, SS 4/10.” I think I can as the coupon for the Free is the veggies, not on the Viola. Any feedback is awesome!

    • yonashi

Can someone help me? “Heluva Good! Dip, 12 oz, $2 ” B1G1 store coupon + .50/1 MC (use both makes it free) it doesn't work in FL, right? Or can I use two .50/1 MC and B1G1 store coupon? I'm comfused using B1G1 coupon with other coupon. Please explain to me. Thank you.

      • Cjyarbrough

You use the B1G1 store coupon and you can use one 50/1 of each of the dips. You grand out of pocket price is 1.00 for 2 dips. Still a great price.

        • yonashi

Thank you for your reply! Yes, $1 for 2 is still good deal! I've never tried this product so I will try now!!!

      • The store BOGO would make them $1 each. without doubling, your mfr q would make them .50 each.

        • yonashi

Thank you for your reply! I was misunderstanding but It is clear now.

      • Steve

You have to use 1 B1G1 and 2 .50/1 makes it free

        • Tracylong1972

If your store doubles coupons that are .50 or below

    • Drinehart6871

Anybody know where I can get the Kraft First Taste of Home Mailer?

      • Danyeln

You need to join the Kraft First Taste website. Periodically they will let you know that there are offers for you and when you respond they will mail you coupons. Most of the time for a free product. Generally they do this for new or reinvented products as a ay to get the word out.

    • Kathleen

You can get a 1$ coupon off Lays (store coupon) in the dollar general flyer ( was in our Sunday paper as an insert). Could that be applied as a store coupon for the Lays?

      • It's up to your store, if DG is over 5 mi les away, but the general rule is if it's within 5 miles you're safe but call and check.

    • Guest

On John Frieda products I am assmuing you can stack publix coupon+ Manufacturers coupon but you cannot use the competitors coupon as well with the other 2 coupons, right?

      • Joynunez24

It depends on your store's manager. We used to be allowed to use a total of 3 coupons (Store, competitor, & man.) Now we can only use 2 (store & man. or competitor & man.). Just check with customer service before shopping to make sure.

    • Gina

I just came from Publix and bought three Bird's Eye veggies (that are on sale) and one of the Bird's Eye Viola meal.s I had two store coupons with $1/2 Birds Eye products (Publix Coupon) and a manu. coupon for Free Birds Eye Steamfresh family size vegetables WYB Viola family size and a manu coupon for $1/3 Bird's Eye veggies. When I went to pay, the customer service person who was checking me out said I could only use one manu. coupon and handed back the ” free WYB” coupon. I was thinking this would've worked. Was she wrong or was I not understading something correctly?

      • Joynunez24

I think if you bought 4 it would have worked. If you have a man. coupon that says : Buy X product and get X product free, then you could use a man. coupon for the one you are purchasing. For instance if you purchased 3 bird's eye and had the 1/2 publix and a 1/1 Bird's Eye man. along with the BOGO man coupon then it would have worked. Hope that makes sense.

      • Gatorginger

actually Gina I believe the cashier was correct because the manufacture coupon for free birds eye steamfresh when you buy viola as for the steam fresh. Had it said free viola when you buy steamfresh it would have worked.

        • Gatorginger

I mean is for the steam fresh sorry for typo

          • Gina

Thanks, that does make sense now:)

    • FYI: I got the free phazyme, and there there is a $1.00 coupon inside the box, printed on the box so be careful opening it. Use it again this week for more free phazyme.

      • smartgirlsaving

        thanks for the tip

      • Lovelola007

I got that too but it's only for the 36 count which isn't the one on sale :(

    • Tiffanyyost

If anyone lives near a NRG Supermarkets (Mother Earth and other whole food markets) they have a $5 off $35 and $10 off $75 coupon on their website almost every month that Publix will honor!

      • Joynunez24

Oh wow! We have a mother earth and I never thought to look on their website for coupons. Thanks!

      • Joynunez24

What is the website? I tried to google it but can't find anything.

        • Tiffanyyost

It’s http://www.naturalretail.com. They have I think 12 locations mostly in Florida. The coupons are on the right hand side under May 2011 store coupons and you can print as many as you want!

        • Michelle

    • alabamamommy4

How do I sign up to receive all of the booklets that have the coupons in them? I have noticed that that is where a lot of the coupon match ups are. I am new to this and any help would be wonderful :) Thanks!

      • Melnewk

You can find majority of them at Publix either at the front of the store or at customer service. Some of the booklets you sign up online to receive them by mail.

        • How do you sign up for the Kroger mailer? These have manufacturer coupons in them too, right? My Publix probably doesn't accept Kroger as a competitor.

    • Pmcneill

Maybe I'm missing something but I click on the $1 off Philip's Crab Cakes and a Rite Aid coupon comes up for Bayer Asprin. Is this a mistake? I don't think Bayer manufactures these crab cakes. Or do they?

    • JLorch

I can't find the American Express in our Publix ad here in Mauldin, SC can anyone else?
      In-Ad Coupons
$10 off $50 American Express Gift Card

      • Mom_4_Him

It was in the Wednesday “Free” paper today. I'm in Simpsonville.

    • lynn

I just started couponing and don't know how to find all these manufacturer coupons listed by the products I want to buy. I understand the other coupon codes and how to find those, but not the ones that just say manufacturer coupon

I am not sure I understand 'the ones that just say manufacturer coupon'. Can you give an example from above? I tried to find one but couldn't at quick glance.

The items listed usually have eligible or possible q's listed underneath the item. And their sources (coupon book, Sunday inserts) are listed next to them. But, if you can give me an example I will take a peek and see if I can help!

        Welcome :)

        • lynn

I replied, but with a new post and not using the reply button. I am really computer illiterate today !!

    • Igot5catz

anyone having trouble printing smart source coupons?

      • libmom

For the past week or so it keeps telling me I've already printed the coupons, when I haven't.

        • Rebecca

Me, too. Sometimes I can get them, sometimes not. I thought I had it all figured out at one time w/ my computer (cut & pasted most of a URL that worked for me, then cut and pasted the individual identifier – the portion at the end of the URL that is specific to the particular coupon, pieced it together, and it would work – for a while anyway) then, that quit working for me, too. More often than not, if it doesn't work the first time, it's not worth my time to try any more.

    • Blueyesmandy

The prices for the Gas-X, Zantac, Phazyme and Ex-Lax at Publix when I went today are not the prices you have listed here. Am I missing something? Are they on sale but not marked? Or is it most likely just my store has different prices? I was really hoping to grab these!

      • Frugal4life

Prices vary by store and region, Usually the difference is just a few cents more. Check the size expecification. The Phazyme is 10ct not 18ct. I know at my store everything is gone by now; but keep checking its worth it.

        • Tracylong1972

If the item is not available on the last day of the sale, hang on to your coupons and go get a rain check. So when it is restocked, you get the sale price and can still use your coupons. (from what I understand)

          • Haven't seen the advantage flyers for this week but if the price of the product is in one of these (and not the regular weekly flyer), my store will not issue rainchecks for that price…only if it's in the regular weekly flyer or a regular priced item. (Valdosta, Ga)

            • cg

My store in Lawrenceville, GA also told me that they only issue rainchecks for things in their weekly ad– they said “since the green and yellow advantage fliers run for longer than a week you should have plenty of time to find them during the sale).”

      • couponjunk

Where are you located? Some areas don't switch ads until Thursday.

      • Couponing Rocks!

Mine were these prices, but as these are the smallest sizes, most were out & they only had the larger count which were more expensive. I got the Phazyme, Zantac, & Somitrex.

      • Anonymous

I couldn’t find the Exlax at the size she had listed but everything else was there. I was able to get the Sominex and Phazyme but the Gas X was out. I just check every time I go to see if they’ve restocked it.

    • lynn

Mamaberry, I was unclear in that question. I had gotten frustrated b/c I was unable to print coupons when I clicked on the links above for certain items. One of the ladies I work with has been helping me understand about how there's limited numbers of manufacturers' printable coupons and I may not be able to print them b/c I'm too late. This is all quite a bit overwhelming as I just used my first coupons last Sunday (and I couldn't believe how much money I saved)!!! Thanks for offering to help !!!

      • Smartsource is notorious for telling you you've printed the coupons the number of times allowed even though you haven't. It's just their default message when the coupon is no longer available…or it may have been a longer campaign and you've already used the coupon and not realized it. If the coupon IS available, you are allowed 2 prints (most of the time) by clicking your back button. HTH

    • Afretz1

thank you for all your help with couponing! I just spent $25 for my weekly needs, since my stockpile is full! I have saved soooo much already this year!

    • Invictus22

I know this is a long shot (and I apologize for posting here, but the trading forum is a bit beyond me at this point!) – might anyone have any whole fruit sorbet coupons they aren't going to use and would be willing to send me? If so, I can repay you postage or possibly send you some coupons you might need. You can reach me at pazazz7420@mypacks.net. Thanks so much!

      • cg

These expire on 5/7, I doubt you will get them in time if someone offers to mail them to you.

    • Grrr my SS 4/10 is missing the Pepperidge Farms, Oscar Mayer AND Edwards coupons. I needed all of those things for a party yhis weekend and now I'm SOL lol

    • kristenk

There is a $2 target q for 4-8pk energizer lithium batteries… not sure if that's included in the sale or note

    • Hearbetty

you won't be able to use the Phillips crab coupon for this sale. The Phillips web site you linked to print it from says…” It may take up to a week to receive your coupon”…(snail mail).

      • Mrs Mom

I received my $2 coupon within 24 hrs via email

      • cg

Calm down, it will be in your email box within the next day or two. The web site just says that, but it’s not snail mail.

      • mlndm1

        I received mine within hours.

    • Fairyandgnome

Just to confirm, the coupon for the gas card will be in tomorrows paper for the Atlanta areas.. correct?

      • Marina115

You don't have to get the newspaper. It will be in the new ad inside the store.

    • Asolstice06

      I love this site!

    • Rosie

Help !! I can't get smart source coupos to print. Does anyone else have this problem? My response when I tried to print is “disabled and contact us and and use this code” I have done that 3 times but haven't been successful in getting a reply.
Thanks for any help – it is so frustrating.

      • I had the same problem when I tried to print Smartsource from IE. I have to use the Firefox browser to print them and now they print for me just fine! HTH!

        • Rosie

thx – I alaready tried firefox and it still doesn’t work. It use to work and I have no idea why it just stopped

      • aims005

I had the same thing as well, even went through the “set up” steps and all were listed on my computer as if it should be printing, but still nothing! Finally I had to REINSTALL a newer version and now I can print them with no problems. Good Luck.

        • Rosie

Thanks – do you by any chance have the link to reinstall — I have tried everything, but it doesn’t redirect me to set up and I don’t see a link for it.

    • ugacouponmom

I have been “couponing” for about a month now and am stocking up on food items but I cant seem to find good deals on paper products, like toliet paper and paper towels. Where is the best place to find them, and with previous coupons what seems to be a “good” price? I just want to get the best deal. Thanks!!!!

      • Gingiraffe

I usually get those at the drugstores – CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid but you do better by already having the “play” money. If you aren't familiar with these, check out Jenny's how-to section for these stores.

        • ugacouponmom

      • Alexusrydr

The drug stores and sometimes when Target has the “buy 2, get a $5 giftcard” are usually the best deals.

      • kristenk

publix sometimes has good deals too when they are on sale, and you have a store and mf coupon… having a competitor coupon helps too, if you can stack all 3

        • CasaLindaDesign

Am I reading this right. You can use a store, mf and competitor coupon on one item. For example lets say I am shopping at Publix so I use a Publix, Food Lion and mf. Is that correct?

          • Rosilandrodg

In Tennessee you can only use 2 coupons. A store and competitor are considered the same. You can pair that with a manufacturer coupon.

        • Jim

Beware the Kimberly Clark/Publix promotions, however. I have found that they are not always a good deal on paper products – cleaners, yes, but paper products, not really.

      • Jim

How brand loyal are you? We can only use Scott 1000 TP, so anything less than $0.40/roll makes me happy, but that is probably high for other folks.

If brand doesn't matter, than I would strike whenever you see TP <$0.30/roll, paper towels<$0.50/roll, napkins<$0.02/ea, tissues<$0.0075/ea. Remember that the deals usually come about in 6-8wk cycles, so stock up for at least that long***, unless it is free in which case buy as many as you can at that time. If Jenny has an acorn beside it, take notice! I would be interested to hear what other folks consider trigger prices for paper products.

From personal experience, I have found the drugstore deals to be best for TP and papertowels (don't forget to ask for rainchecks, because they will inevitably be out). Also, don't forget to use single rolls of TP/papertowels when you need fillers or to use up expiring UPs/RRs/ECBs, etc and to use any $5 off $20 etc. coupons on paper product purchases. Lastly, always compare prices with the store brand – sometimes that is the best price.

*** The base price for all these items will be rising in the next few months, so you might want to buy more at today's prices.

        • genxeratl

Publix had Angel Soft 24-pk regular rolls 2 for $10 not long ago. I had two $.50/1 Qs that doubled so that made it 2 for $8 ($4 each or $.17/roll). That to me is a good deal.

        • genxeratl

Also Target here in Atlanta tends to have the best prices on paper towels if you catch them on sale and stack a store Q with a manuf Q. And if they are offering the gift card if you buy two promo then that makes it even better. Wish I wasn't as brand loyal as I am (prefer Bounty or Target brands for paper towels and Angel Soft for TP) but some brands are just better than others.

HELP….when I try to print coupons off of brick coupons from the link that says printable it ALWAYS tells me I have reached my limit when I know I haven't. It won't even let me print one….why???? this is so frustrating

      • Jennydh

It means that it has printed the limit that was allowed by the manufacturer. No other printings will be made unless they restock it. You should try to print the coupons as early as possible as the god ones go fast.

      • Danyeln

When manufacturers put out coupons they have a predetermined number that they allow to print. Once that number is reached it will give that message. It will say You've already printed the number allowed even if you never pronted it at all. A bad choice of wording but that is usually what it means.

    • Megan

Has anyone tried to use the $5 off catalina that printed from WD a couple of weeks back for the P&G items? I know Publix will accept competitor coupons but I've never tried the $ off your next order. WDs sales aren't as great as Pulblix IMO and the catalina Q will expire Friday (5/6). Help!

      • prissy

My Publix does take them up to $5.00.

      • Alexusrydr

The $5 off $30 Winn-Dixie coupon is the only competitor coupon I ever use at Publix. They recently put a new sign in the window saying they accept other SUPERMARKETS competitor coupons. I think the days of people using CVS & Walgreens coupons will soon be over.

    • Dee

Can anyone help? I have a Publix coupon for $1/2 birds eye and a mfr coupon for $.75/3 and a mfr for the buy the voila get a free steam fresh bag. Any idea on how many to pick up and what the savings will be? I'm new to this. Thanks!

      • kristyi

4…I think. Scroll down & a similar transaction & replies for this scenario are explained. I believe it is posted by Gina. Hth!

    • Salvato08

how many publix coupons can you use per visit?

      • heather

All the Publix's around me will take as many as I have product for. I just ask them to scan the coupon X amount of times for me so I don't have to rip up all their coupon booklets. Unless the coupon specifically states one per customer, like the gas card deal does, or the penny item.

    • Angie8220

Heads up if you don't have a printer tidy cats has a $1 off coupon in the 5/1 ss the one with the dog on the front.

      • aims005

my store said the Tidy cat 10lb bag wasn't on sale this week~ it starts next week the only one on sale this week is the 20lb bag.

    • Macrow03

If you go to the Classico Pasta Sauce website, you can register and get a $1 off coupon!

      • Minkyatee

Thanks for the Classico info. (rhyme) lol :)

      • Bianca

Yeah but the one on sale is 8.1 to 24 oz and the coupon is for 44oz. so it will not work. :(

      • Mikamoris

That coupon is for the 44 oz jar, which doesn't appear to be on sale.

    • Carden831

I am looking for an Oscar Mayer coupon to use to buy food for a Girl Scout Camping trip. Does anyone have one that they have printed that you can scan in & email to me! Carden831@yahoo.com

      Thank you so very much!!!

      • FL_Girl

You can't scan and copy printable coupons. That's coupon fraud.

        • JoshuaGriffing

I dont think she meant to scan and then both parties use it. Would it be “fraud” if the Q was scanned, sent, and the original was discarded? As only one would actually be in use.

      • aims005

I don't have any coupons but when we buy our hot dogs we go to SAMS and you can get 30 weiners in a box for like $4.95 or so ( I know it is under $5) unless you have coupons that seems to be the best deal.

    • Minkyatee

Hi, If anyone uses Gerber Good Start formula. I have a 5.25 and a 3.25 Gerber voucher.
These would pair nicely with the 5.00 in ad coupon. I also have a few gerber baby food coupons. If interested email me at minkyatee@aol.com. I'll pop em in the mail. Hate to see them go to waste.

      • crchamblee

I don't have a baby however I live in AL and would love to receive those coupons to use to donate the baby food and formula. I'm about an from Tuscaloosa and would love to be able to help a child out, even if it is just formula.

My Publix has boneless skinless chicken breast BOGO this week! If you get packages that weigh the same it's $2.30/lb! I live in true BOGO world so for those of you in half price world this is even better since it doesn't require same size packages!

      • Fairyandgnome

Check to see if you have a Tyson Factory near you. I have one that I go to about 20 mins from here and Buy 20lbs of boneless chicken breast for $30.. 1.50/lb. You can also get wings 20lbs for $20

        • genxeratl

How do you find out if Tyson offers this in your area? Georgia has quite a few Tyson locations but I can't seem to see/find if they offer direct sale at one of the facilities. That's a really good deal and I would love to take advantage – even if I have to drive a little to get there. I'm sure others would appreciate it if you could post some details on how to find this info out.

          • Fairyandgnome

I drive to the factory in Cumming. Some of the Tyson farms will sell to you directly also, but I prefer to go to the factory bc its all flash frozen for you. I would call each factory that is close to you and ask if they have a store, then ask for directions.. asking for pricing is useless as they are not allowed to give it to you over the phone

            • Chauwall

Where is the factory in cumming? I live really close in suwanee. Is there a retail store that you can just walk in and buy at the counter? Thanks a bunch! This would be awesome information.

            • Debbiecarnesjordan

It is off Castleberry Rd. heading into town. They are open certain hours so you would need to call and find out. I can’t remember off the top of my head.

            • jillyb

Thanks for the info. I live in Alpharetta and will check into this.

Anyone having problems with coupons.com printing today?

    • peggy

In the 4/10 SS there is a “One Free Bag” of any Bird's Eye Steamfresh Family Size Vegetales WYB any ONE bag of Birds Eye Voila Family Size–pair up with the B1G1 Voila deal to get 2 free bags of veggies! :)

      • genxeratl

There was also a coupon for Viola itself so it you pair them up you should be able to use one on the Viola ($2/1) plus the BOGO Q for the free bag of SteamFresh veggies, plus on top of the deal Publix is offering. Woohoo!

        • Lilmissnikkilane

Where are you finding a $2 off Q for the Viola

      • Carissa

The family size Voila isn't B1G1 in my store. Just a heads up to double check your store before you plan for this deal! :)

    • genxeratl

BTW – if you have a large number of something you want to/are trying to purchase let a manager know and they will special order it for you (so you don't clear a shelf AND so you get the whole quantity you want). I have been unable to find the Bic razors that were on sale (sale ended yesterday) and a manager suggested that, because I wanted 22 packages, I should special order. So I went to the manager at the location closest to me and he issued me a third rain check (already had two so his covered the last amount I was looking for) and he said he would not only special order them for me but would tell me when to come in so he was working and he would ring me up himself so I can use my $3 off Qs and get them all for free (with overage!). These are all going to charity here in Georgia btw so not hoarding – and I made the store manager aware of that so I think that may be why they were so cooperative. Just FYI – if you work with them they will work with you.

      • Rlvhewett

I got 5 of the razors last week and turned around and donated to tornado victims in our community. I was also able to donate 20 tubes of toothpaste. Without couponing I would never be able to donate like I did this past weekend. This was a good lesson for my kids!

    • genxeratl

Also note I discovered yesterday that if you have overage they may give it back to you. Mine was just a quarter but I got my basket for free and got a quarter back. Check with your location to see if they will do that (I'm guessing anything under a dollar they will but your success may vary).
BTW – I also spoke to a manager and she told me that they are discovering that the couponing being done is not at all bad for them because they get their money back when the coupons are redeemed. She said they have been relaxing their usage (in Atlanta) and she also confirmed they will have a chain-wide coupon policy soon. I will say that the three stores closest to me have been VERY cooperative when I have a large number of Qs and when I explain what I'm doing – they try to actually HELP me get what I'm looking for (even calling other stores looking for items they are out of while I continue to shop). I've even had them allow me to add Publix gift cards to push my total back up so I could continue to give them coupons (because the total was going negative and the computer was freaking out).
I think if you get to know your store and their people they will bend over backwards to help when you communicate to them what's going on so they can not only help you but everyone else that comes in to shop there – at least that's what I'm finding more of here in Atlanta. Happy couponing!

      • Rachel

I got paid $3.90 at the Publix at Indian Trail in Norcross, sweet. The other one I go to on Peachtree Industrial won’t do that though.

    • Brandy

I need some expert advice please! Publix is running a BOGO on Lay's Potato Chips. I also have a home mailer from Kroger that includes a BOGO coupon for the same. If I take this competitor coupon to Publix, how exactly would that work?

      • FreedomSpradley1

You will have to ask your store manager if they consider Kroger a competitor. If so, they will take your Kroger coupon. If you are in the land of true B1G1 you should get two bags free! If your Publix runs B1G1 deals at 50% off you will pay 50% for one bag and the other will be free (from coupon).

    • JoshuaGriffing

Are the Family Size Voila Meals NOT included in the BOGO?

      • Kristen

        No, just the regular size.

    • genxeratl

Did anyone not get their crab cake Q? I signed up and it said it would email me the Q but I got zippo.

    • Melissadavidc

The coupon for Kings Hawaiian and birds eye vegetables is not in the Spring Greenwise. They are in the Spring family gatherings booklet. I know I thought I was going crazy flipping thru the greenwise over and over both my mailed one and the one at store, then yesterday I found the dispaly for the booklet…

    • Laura

Wow–just got back from Publix and have to tell SOMEONE–the eight O'clock coffee is B1G1free–then I printed 2 of the $2 off coupons and picked up a total of 4–two I paid for and 2 for free. THEN there was right next to the coffee packages of Milano cookies with stickies on them that if you bought a coffee, the cookie package was free. So I got 4 FREE packs of Milano cookies. And that isn't all! Those 4 free packages of cookies went towards the $25 I needed to buy the $50 gas card for $40, because they took off the price at the end.

I got a couple of other amazing deals too–there is DiGiorno pizza with wings or cookies on sale 2 for $11.99. There is a coupon on the glass that the combination-type pizzas were $1.50 off. So I basically got pizza and wings for $4.00!

      • Allie in SC

        Thank you!! :)

    • LiBeTyg

My Publix had peelies on Pepperidge farms Milano cookies, buy 8 o'clock coffee get a free package of Milano's. Sweetens the BOGO on the coffee deal nicely. :)

    • anyone else having issues with coupons not printing…saying you need to install the coupon printer again?

      • Ashley

im having trouble and its driving me crazy lol i've tried 2 computers and 2 different browsers!

        • Me too…I've restarted and everything….was planning to go to Publix but can't…totally sucks!

          • Ashley

some of mine are starting to print now… maybe i got lucky or hopefully they've fixed it…without the printable coupons it completely throws off my lists..but atleast im not the only one with this problem…misery loves company haha jk but this confirmed that it wasnt my computer

      • Khudgin

I just tried and can't do it either.

    • Brooke

can someone please expain (sorry if it is a stupid question)- i called my local Publix to ask if they considered Walgreens a competitor and if they would take Wags coupons…the lady told me “product for product” then rushed me off the phone, would someone mind explaining to me what this means…thanks

      • my Publix does, but Walgreens is right across the street so that my be why

      • genxeratl

it means the product has to be identical – name, size, type, etc. If it's described on the Q then it has to match the Publix item identically. I've had that happen before where it's off by something just slightly and they will refuse the Q.

    • Gegemcdavid

I cant find the oscar mayer Q's in SS 4/10 is anyone else haveb this problem

      • Angie8220

I couldn't find it either but about a week ago Kroger had some on there hot dogs so I got a few. Whenever I see tearpads or coupons on products I take them because they always seem to go on sale sooner or later.

        • Lovelylocksmail

You shouldn't take Q's off of products you aren't buying. That's rude to whoever does buy it that would like to have that. =(

      • Melcha1

Here's another way to go, if you have a local distributor, try contacting them directly for assistance we used to do this with Lykes for Cherity events and would get some extremely crazy low price for bulk amounts same with the bakery stores…bought 300 buns for $6 because they wanted them gone.

    • Angie8220

I just love this site so much and publix is quickly become my favorite store. I went to publix to day the bill before q's $101 spend $42.67 + $2 tax for 29 items and that included a $50 gas card need I say more.

      • genxeratl

They've always been my fav since I was a little kid and they were almost the only grocery around in So Fla. This week before Qs my total, on 4 orders, was $271.44 before tax ($55 of which was Publix gift cards). After tax and Qs I ended up paying oop $17.46. So with the gift cards I really made money – $37.54!!

        • genxeratl

Actually I only paid $3.23 oop – I used the gift cards to pay for one of the orders so $14.23 of that total above was really already free money. So total MADE from Publix shopping this week (so far) is $51.77. And I have an order in for 22 of those Bic razors (placed yesterday) – with the $3/1 Q and them being $5.49/2 that means I'll get the razors for free, pay no tax, and have a $2 overage. And the new ad just started so I'll be there Saturday after Kroger – great week for Publix!

    • kristenk

I know stores are different w/ their clearance items, but thought I'd pass this along… my publix in town lake, woodstock, ga had scotch tape handheld dispenser priced 2 for $3.69 and scotch kids scissors 2 for 69 cents… there are $1 printable q's if you search under the database (which is a pdf, so unlimited prints)… w/ the overage from the scissors, I got them all for almost free (30 cents)… cheap tape!!

      • kristenk

oh i also found a peelie for $2/1 on energizer batteries! ended up being (i think) about $2.34 for an 8 pack

    • Frugal4life

Hey guys can anyone recomend a clipping/coupon service. I'm looking for the Oscar Meyer hot dog Q. I need about 300 hot dog for a Church pinic coming up, this seems like the time to stock up. I looked on Ebay, need help. Never done this before. Thanks

      • Angie8220

coupon clippers and dede coupons are ones i have used

        • Frugal4life

Thank you. Are they on Ebay?

          • Carissa

No they have their own websites.

    • Megan

I paid $8.05 OOP for over $115 worth of groceries!! I bought 3 Amex cards, then used those to turn around and buy my $115 groceries and $150 of gas cards. And I live in FL, with no doubling! This is by far my best trip yet. :-) So thrilled.

      • Frugal4life

WOW. Can you please give details. Thanks

        • Megan

I suppose the “trick” is that I consider my $150 in gas gift cards to not be part of my spending. To me, that is money I would spend on gas anyway, so it is just putting that money in one place for awhile until I spend it.

          Here is what I got:
          1. Buy 3 Amex cards @ 44.95 each (essentially giving a $14.85 discount)

          2. Then go back and buy:
          4 Knorrs- $1/4
2 Ghiradelli brownies (gasp, no coupon)
          1 Lindor truffle -$1
          2 toilet cleaner -$1/2
          1 soft scrub -$1/1
          1 free bag purina- $7.99
2 BOGO glade products- both free with $3.49/1 cpn
          3 soda 2L
          1 rotisserie chicken
2 packages of chicken (at my store, BOGO for $9.18)
          2 cooking creme- (2) $1.50/1
          2 digiorno- (2) $1.25/1
          2 cali pizza kitchen- $1.25/1
          2 smoothie mix- (2) $1/1
          2 waffles- $1/2
4 birds eye veggies (BOGO at my store)- $.75/1
2 birds eye voila BOGO- $.50/1
3 gas cards at $40 each
          Total after coupons = $171.40

          3. Pay with the 3 Amex (saving $14.85)

          4. Walk out with Publix having traded me $150 cash for $150 in gas cards, plus I gave them $6.55 for the groceries (yes, $6.55, my first calculation was off!)

          • Megan

Oops, that birds eyes veggie is $.75/3, I don't want anyone to go on a hunt for a magical $.75/1!

          • Frugal4life

            Wow, thanks!

      • kristenk

I know, I don't get it… 3 amex cards would have been almost $150… how did you get down to $8?? (at least in my ad, you had to buy the $50 amex… fill us in!

    • Pepsi1williams

the rold gold pretzels are 299 and they have a coupon in yellow ad for 1 off and also manf coupon 2/2 in moments to save makes them 1 a bag but yellow coupon expires the 6th so hurry up and get your pretzels soon

    • joaniec

Does anyone know if you can use the $10 off of $40 Sweetbay coupon if you purchase the gas card that requies a $25 purchase of groceries?

      • Carissa

My stores(North Tampa area) allows that but it's probably best to ask at the customer service desk at your store.

    • Angie8220

heads up birds eye website has q for .35 off of lightly sauced vegetables and they double, pair with store q for good deal. they paid me .13 to take out of store.
      2.27 for two bags

    • Frugal-J

Do not bother in trying to locate the $2 off John Frieda coupon on SS 3/06, it has expired on 4/30/11. ;-(

      • Valerie

There is a $3 off John Freida Root Awakening product in last weeks paper (May 1st). Combined with the Publix coupon, you can get them for .49 each. Can't remember if it's RP or SS. Great deal! :0)

    • Kira

The peelie coupon on the chicken states “Save $1.50 now on chicken when you buy any one (1) package of new Philadelphia Cooking Creme”. If I buy 2 packages of cooking creme and have 2 of the $1.50 off chicken WYB coupons, can I purchase 1 pack of chicken and have both coupons applied to the chicken or do I need to purchase 2 packs of chicken? Thank you in advance for your help. :)

      • tif

No, Kira, that would be like using 2 manufacturer coupons on one item, which is against all stores policies. You need to buy 2 packs of chicken!

        • Kira

Okay, thank you for the assistance. Is this also true for the coupons that say $1 off fresh fruit WYB 2 boxes of ____________ cereal? I was told that 2 or more of those coupons could be used on one $3 watermelon (just as an example). Is this correct or do I need to purchase individual pieces of fruit at $1 ea. to maximize my savings with that coupon? I have not used either of these coupons yet (for the chicken or the fruit), because I want to make sure I do everything correctly. I really appreciate your help.

          • Kat

You must buy 2 watermelon for the same reason. You can not use 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 item.

    • kel

How is the Amex card a good deal if you have to pay 4.95 activation fee – I am new at this.

      • Amy B.

Its a good deal because you pay $44.95 (including the fee) for something that's worth $50. You can spend it just about anywhere – free 10% increase in your money!

    • InkyStink

I haven't read all the way down but does the $25 purchase need to be after coupons to get the Gas card deal?

      • joaniec

$25.00 purchase is before coupons in my FL publix

        • Bh

last night my checker Sammie (Florida) added the gas card before my coupons which would have made my total 24.83 but I would have thrown in a pack of gum or small filler

          • Joanna

My cashier did the same thing as far as deducting my coupons first, which put me way under $25. I was a little nervous and she told me that since it's a manual Publix coupon (that little 4-digit number on the bottom corner) that it's up to the cashier to know if you qualify or not. So, not to worry.

    • Peggy

Hi all just wanted to share my experience at Publix in Okeechobee florida today, I follwed my list and did very well, I did as suggested seperated all my items even put the mfg coupons next to the store coupons on each item, well as we all know at some point it calls for a manger override ext.. The customer service manager (I think she was) came over never once made eye contact, a smile nothing.. And asked the cashier, did you check this for fraud, did you count them and make sure:( I very proudly stated there is the buggy please feel free to count each and every item versus the coupons I will wait go ahead. She never looked at me or spoke to me one time. She simply shook her head and walked over to the ast manager who was standing there and said something, he saw me looking and did a nervous smile, oh but let me add before she stalked away she looked at the cashier and stated ” all this will change as of June 8th” She litterally made me as if I was defrauding the store. I have bought from them for years, full price until I took my coupon class 3 weeks ago and its taken me awhile to get the hang of it but today my bill was $ 317.00 and with my coupons I paid $29.88:) I am thrilled.. Anyone know what the new change is going to be and does anyone get the same treatment? How do you avoid that? thanks

      • genxeratl

Like Santiagosandi said above I've had the same problem as you Peggy, only once, and it was a cashier who was basically treating my coupons and the transaction like I was trying to steal money from her personally. Even the Asst Mgr who was on duty tried to tell me I couldn't use all of my Qs because then I wouldn't be paying anything – which is total BS. So I have not gone back to that store again and instead go to two others that are way closer (I was at the bad store getting items the others were out of) where they treat couponers with respect and, frankly, admiration when they see what you accomplish. One of the stores I frequent told me that if I warn them they will make sure they are available as managers to make sure there are no issues. One lady told me they used to freak out when someone did a bunch of Qs and paid nothing but then after thinking about it and doing the math they figured out they lost no money and in some instances still make money on the Qs as well (not to mention the markup they make on the product). It all comes down to education about couponing as well as customer service skills – some employees truly want to help their customers while others treat it as nothing more than something they have to do to earn a paycheck – and hate you for making them work.
I personally buy a lot of stuff that I can get for free with Qs because I donate it to a local food bank – I wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to help but this allows me to help while only investing my time and energy. Being single and with a small home I have no need for 140 boxes of pasta or 30-something packs of razors but I got them for free and donated them. Managers like that and so I explain what I'm doing and why and they literally help me make sure I accomplish my goal. I suggest you find a manager and make friends – most of them are very cooperative but you will still find the occasional one that is a PITA about Qs.

        • Anna

Do you call ahead and let them know to order extra of an item you're planning to purchase?

          • Lisa

I too buy in bulk. Our church makes a food bag for 150 senior citizens, and therefore, my Publix is SUPER! Just ask them to order for you. If the order is delayed, they honor my coupon even if expired. A smile, a sincere Thank you usually is returned. I have never had a problem but if you do, the district manager or regional manager needs to know about it, immediately!

    • Hyd

There is a Philadelphia Cooking Creme coupon for $1.50/1 from SS 3/6. Just thought I'd throw that out there since the other coupons listed are for Kraft Food Home Mailers and I didn't receive one. Hope that helps someone out! (:

      • Valerie

Can't find it down here in Hollywood. :0)

      • Rachel

There was also some blinkies and tearpads a couple months ago, look in your binders.

    • Sanchionipa

ok crazy question im new to couponing! If an item is b1g1free can i use two couons on both? Ex. Tidy cat cat litter is buy1get1free at 2.49 and i have a coupon for $1.10off. Can I use both coupons. I live in the fl area

      • bh

      • Grits47

Yes you can in Jacksonville Fl. I got 2 kitty litters for .29 today using 2 $1.10 coupons.

        • Sanchionipa

          thanks for your help

    • Coolkdg

My Publix on the eastside of Spartanburg, SC does not carry Wacky Mac and seemed very upset that I heard it was on sale on Southernsavers.

    • Yoly

Yes you can.You are able to apply a coupon to each product

    • Santiagosandi

Hi Peggy, great job with the couponing. Yes, I had the same type of experiences a couple of times I sent Publix an email the store manager called me back. Told me if I had any problems to please ask for him. We will see I am shopping tommorow

    • Kdebner

Anyone find the Pedigree Good Bites coupon? There was one in the Sun. paper a few weeks back, but is expired. the “printable” one doesn't seem to be on their website/

      • Megan

        $1/1 in the 5/1 Redplum.

    • Frugal4life

Does anybody knows how long before Amex card activate?

      • genxeratl

They activate usually immediately but I had had to wait a little for Publix's system to notify and update with Amex before they worked.

        • Valerie

I've been able to use them within a couple of hours.

      • Yachtchik

I was told 24 hours. I tried to use mine the same day purchased and it didn't work until the next day.

      • KouponKing

I got 'burned' on this last time around. You can't buy it now, then use it for other purchases immediately. AMEX said it takes 70 minutes to activate. Though I'm sure it could be shorter in some instances.

    • Guest

Does anyone know how much John Frieda Precision Foam color cost at publix?

      • Carissa

        I believe it's $11.99.

        • Valerie

I also read $11.99 but haven't been able to find it yet.

          • Valerie

BTW, not sure if it's still available but Target had a $5/1 coupon on the web, which when combined w/ manu and Publix will make it FREE. If I can find them in a store near me. Lol

      • Peggy

Hey I found two coupons for the John Frieda foam manufacture & target/store…but when I went to publix they didnt have it,, I guess some stores dont carry it, so check another publix if you cant find it at at the first one.

    • Kmclem99

new to couponing I have a question I have a coupon save $1.00 on any three knorr pasta's they are buy one get one free so do I buy 3 and get 3 free and get it for the price jenny has it for 41 cents. thanks for your help

      • Publix is halfoff when BOGO, so cut the price in half instead of thinking about it BOGO.

        • Nicolecaroline1023

Unless you live in Florida (and maybe coastal GA?) and then you have to buy one to get one free. They don't do the half off here. :)

    • KelliS

Hi Jenny, Natures Valley Granola bars are on sale for $2. There's a $0.50/2 q in SS 5/1. Makes the boxes $1.50 each. Not the BEST price I've ever paid, but still a decent deal.

      • Kb

        I think that's a price I woudl never pay

I am going to make my first publix trip, I don't have one in my town, the closest one is about an hour away. Anybody have any experiences to share regarding the Fairhope, Al or Daphne, AL stores? Not new to the coupong thing, just feel like there are great deals I am missing out on by not being able to double coupons in my local stores. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    • Karenwillmusic

I'm very new to couponing and everything seems EXTREMELY overwhelming to the point where I'm ready to just pay full price at my regular, non coupon doubling store! Any words of encouragement or help?!?!

      • emily

My advise would be to totally stop looking @ sale items, store sale lists and just READ UP ON COUPONING!!! Read tutorials, how-tos, Couponing 101 or take a class. Do you have a friend who coupons? Ask for some tutoring. :)
THen, once you get started…try to deal w/ the frustration for 6 weeks and you’ll understand it all much better by then!!! It is totally do-able, just don’t dive in without taking the time to learn!!

        Email me @ erocksnapp @ yahoo.com (I’m Emily) and I’ll help you!!

      • genxeratl

Stick with it and you'll get the hang of it. Start small and work up – like doing your regular shopping and using a few coupons, then more so you're getting items for free, then more to the point where you're getting whole carts full for free (or little out of pocket). It takes time and coordination to make sure you're A) getting the best deal possible and B) spending as little money as possible. Once you get into the swing it will take less time to prepare – but good prep ensures a successful trip. Small goals or milestones will help you see what you can achieve – and it's very satisfying to have $200 worth of stuff and only pay $2 for it. Hang in there and you'll make it.
If you want some tips or something feel free to drop me an email and I can explain what I do personally (what works for me) and maybe that will help.

        • Chris

Forgot to include email – cmetzger at metzdomain.com.

          • Joanna

@Chris I love it when I see guys couponing. The other day I was in my Marietta, GA Publix and there was an older gentleman shopping with his giant binder. Made my day.

            • Chris

That's funny because I live in Smyrna and shop the S Cobb, Cumberland, Roswell Rd/285, and Powers Ferry stores (and sometimes Acworth if I am looking for something specific that the others are out of). And I shop with two binders – one that has all of my trip Qs in it and the other has my inventory so I can pull if I find something unexpected. I leave my big file box out in the truck (I keep that with me just in case I need to run out and grab some Q from a flyer).

I grew up couponing – my mother taught me how to coupon, budget, menu plan for the week, and shop by a list (we didn't have a big budget for groceries). So I've always done it to an extent but since finding this site have really stepped it up and have a whole operation going to maximize what I can do. That's why I'm trying to put together a local meet-up group – folks who are interested in meeting regularly to swap coupons, trade info and tips, maybe even shop as a group (although may have to warn a store in advance – lol). If you're interested let me know!

            • April R

Chris, I'll look for you the next time I'm in the Powers Ferry store!! I shop there and the Piedmon/Roswell Rd. store!

            • Chris

Awesome! Hope we run into each other. Happy couponing!

            • Rachel

I thought the same thing about starting a group with the ladies I see at the recycle bank looking for coupons. I just haven’t gotten up enough guts to approach them and haven’t really worked out the details in my mind. I live in Gwinnett County, Duluth. Wish I lived closer or I would join your group, oh well.

            • Chris

Well so far no one has responded to me. If you want to get together sometime like at a Micky D’s close to you I would be happy to meet another fellow couponer and make the drive – not that far really considering you have to drive everywhere in Atlanta. Email me at cmetzger at metzdomain dot com and maybe we can meet somewhere public first.

            • I’m in Smryna, and would be interested in a coupon swap type thing, too.

            • Chris

That’s awesome! Hit me up via email and maybe we can meet up some time at like Micky D’s or something (obviously some place public until we get to know each other). My email is cmetzger at metzdomain dot com. I would love to get a few of us together to swap, chat, trade strategies and tips, and even shop together occasionally (obviously we may want to warn a store or make friends with a manager so they know we’re all coming on a certain day of the week). Hope to hear from and maybe see you soon!

      • Also when starting, The items that have Acrons next to them mean “to stock up” on that item, it's at it's best price Maybe just buy a couple accorn items to start , then like Chris said below it does get easier

      • Superkc65

Oh I was the same, my neighbor was using all this lingo! I just started using coupons on the buy one get one free (bogo) and built up fromn there. use competitor coupons with a manufacturer coupon and go! best advice is to find a friend that is couponing too and pick her brain, or better yet tag along with her on a trip. . I think you will also find people couponing in the store are very nice and willing to help. stick with it, its fun and soooo worth it. good luck :-)

    • Allyssa

Yoplait Smoothie kids are not B1G1 in my area of FL this week. Not sure why, we don't usually have a different list than you do here. But I even noticed in the printed ad from the paper that it was left out. Boo.

    • Chris

BTW – the Sominex Q on essentialsforlivingwell.com is gone (no more prints for campaign). There are still the others including the Phazyme. FYI.

    • Chris

Note the pretzel crisps are $4/2 at Kroger. With the Pretzel Day BOGO Q you get them for $1/ea. The Q was on Facebook but I think is gone now – if you need it let me know (it was a non-specific PDF Q so unlimited prints with no name or code on it).

    • Daisy

Philadelphia Cooking Creme-I ran into a $1.50 off 1 in my 3/6 SS (Orlando Sentinel)!!!!

    • Sgipner

I have a coupon for buy one Bird's Eye Voila, get one steamfresh veggies free. This week, Publix has BGO free Voila. I have $1 coupon off 3 steamfresh veggies. Publix has BGO free steamfresh veggies. Can someone explain the best way to use these coupons with BGO deals, please

      • Beth

the coupon says its for the “family size” and the packages at my store weren't labeled that so I didn't try it. However you would have to buy 3 veggies to get the $1 and then the voila plus another veggie to get that veggie free so you would leave with 2 voila and 4 veggies.

      • Chris

Beth is right – I should have mentioned that when I mentioned the Q (I didn't notice it myself until I was planning my trip and pulled the Q from my binder). I'm going to take it with me and check it out to see what's what.

Note the Q for $2/1 on Viola is also for the family size it says. And the BOGO Viola/Steamfresh veggie Q says family size on BOTH the Viola and Steamfresh items. I'll see what my store here in GA has going on and report back.

        • Chris

So Publix said they would accept it even though the item did not specifically state that it was “family size”. I guess if they don't have a problem with it then neither do I. But I did ask and they were good. This was at the Smyrna, GA store at S Cobb Dr and East-West Connector.

      • Frugal4life

Yes, I did that today. Got 6 Voila meal and 6 Steamfresh veg. Used 6 BOGveggies free and 2Publix $1/3 plus 6 Voila meals Man. Q's and 6 0.35/1 veggies. Hope it makes sense. So you can used man and store Q's on free items and manf. on Meals. I think veggies came out to about 0.06 cents. Good luck

        • Frugal4life

My Viola meals or veggies were not labeled as in Q's so I used it with no problem. Depending on your family size. In my case it is considered family size because I can feed my family of 4 with one.

        • Sgipner

Thank you that helped a new couponer and the savings is awesome

    • Beth

The litter at my store was $2.25 and with 2 $1.10 off coupons it was about $.02 each :) love it!!!!!

    • looking4adeal

I am planning a publix visit. I would like to purchase both gitt cards. Can someone help me map out a good plan for a big saving with the purchase. Thanks

      • Frugal4life

I did that today and did not paid anything for groceries look above. Focus on good deals like the Birds eyes veggies and meals. With Publix and Manf. they come out to about 0.06 cents, Hot dogs are a great buy, and Pepperidge Farm rolls, cooking creams, also you can get overage on Sundown Vit. Good luck!

    • saveMimi$

Okay… I'm getting so frustrated. I watch all the coupon shows… I get emails from all the “coupon” sites and then I set aside time to work from this site to do my Publix shopping and I find that several of the (SS 4/10) are not in there. Are these inserts different from region to region??

      • Val

Yes. In the right hand corner you can see what coupons were in your region by clicking the blue “Sunday Ad Inserts” link

      • cg

Yes. Sometimes you will lose out on a good coupon that our region didn't get, but then other times your region will be the one that scores the great coupon while others miss out, so it all evens out in the end.

      • Jtdjagos

For example, my sunday paper had egglands best eggs .35 cents off. i went on ebay and an insert in California had them for .50 cents off. I got 20 coupons for $2.00 which will double to $1 off and they are good until sept. All I have to do is wait until they go on sale BOGO. My store always runs out so i will grab a raincheck and be set for a couple of months at a time.

    • Jmnasdaqqqq

Yahoo!!! I just got a 50.00 gas card and 5 steam fresh veggies, 6 viola meals and 1 dzn eggs and 2 shredded chz out the door for 34.00 !!! This is the best trip yet!!!

    • saveMimi$

And another thing… I go to these links for printable coupons… type all my information in for the coupon and it says “No offers available”. seriously?? is this a joke?? Is this because they have reached the limit? There has GOT to be a better way. How in the world do these “extreme” couponers do this? I want so much to be able to save some money… I don't necessarily have to buy 120 boxes of pasta on one shop, but I would like to be able to find out how to do this without going out of my mind.

      • Nanleigh10

Those extreme couponers, or some of them, have a clipping service. If you can't print a coupon, go the mfg website and write them a little sweet e-mail that you love their product but could not get the coupon. I couldn't get a Kelloggs coupon and they mailed me a $5.00 coupon; printed a vitamin coupon that had expired and the company sent me a coupon for up to $11.99 off one product. Goes on and on. Some of the mfg won't give you the time of day, but others will. Keep at it and good luck.

      • Jtdjagos

Once you look at your local sales ads on southern Savers, if a coupon is listed as something that came in a sunday paper, you can use a clipping service, or I buy coupons on ebay. That way I get the ones I want, and people send them quickly, in time to catch the sale. Also, anytime you shop and the store is out of a product on sale, get a raincheck. My Publix will let you get 10 of an item. You can go back in a week or two and stock up.

        • Chris

Agreed – Publix here allows 5 “deals” or 10 items if not BOGO. But they also told me that you can get as many rain checks as you want (like if you go back and they still don't have it before the sale is over you can get another one if you need more of something). Note that if you need a larger quantity of something they suggested to me to special order the item – that way you still get it at the special price and they said they can normally get it in within a week or two at most. A manager told me that there are some items (like HBA) that they only get a few of at a time so if they only get 6 and you clean them out then they have to wait again for more to come in (6 at a time). But if you want 10 or 12 or more of something then they can special order those just for you and keep their regular stock for everyone else.

Just a suggestion – I did it for the razors I wanted because they suggested I do it that way since it would be easier on everyone.

      4. Total for gass cards and groceries before Q's $152.19
      5. Paid using Amex gift cards and $10 Sweetbay competitor Florida
      6. Total paid after all Q's $90.08

in gass cards, free groceries, Yeah!
      * Added bonus found $3 Viola meal Q's printed don't know when, turning that in tomorrow for more money in my pocket.
      * Keep eyes open for new Publix store Q' book called Simple Summer Pleasures full of Nestle Q's. My store had it next to weekly ad.
Happy Mother's day Everyone. Specially you Jenny, have a blessed day with yours, and thanks.

        Sorry meant “GAS”

    • Brooke

I loaded all the coupons on to my savings star account and then they weren't available for load on my UPromise account. Should have read all the details first. Hurt me this month on the Texas Toast Crutons…in the future I'll be loading everything onto my UPromise account and then load whatever is left on my Savings Star account. Wish Publix would participate in Savings Star

    • Yany75

okay…figuring out the couponong. done ok so far but NEVER seem to have the right coupons at the right time. have binder, lots of coupons but every time i go to make my list i only seem to have one or two coupons for the things that are on sale. FRUSTRATED!!!

      • Elizabeth

This is something that was discouraging for me at first as well. Now if I don't have the Q, I either buy it because it's a good price anyway or leave it on the shelf for next time when I have the Q. I've now been couponing for about 9 months, and I have enough in my cabinets that I just rejoice when I do have the Q.

If you don't have the Qs, then you get a short shopping trip…more time to clip Qs for next time.

      • tori729

The longer you coupon the more you'll have. You just have to build up a collection over time. At first it IS hard but it will get better. And you will learn more and more about websites you can sign up for and booklets you can request, etc.

    • Frugal4life

For all of you that are “Frustrated” just count to ten. Couponing takes time and lots of patience. Watch the tutorialls on this site and sign up for Jenny's coupon advisory. Relax you win some, you loose. Most things go on sale in cicles, if you miss it this time you'll get it next time.

    • Chris

Agreed – deep breaths. Sometimes you have the Q and sometimes the Q gets you – LOL.

I have that happen to me all of the time – see something on sale and I used the Q previously or just don't have it. But keep in mind there are a lot of people on the traders forum here that have Qs they are looking for and are willing to trade. For example, I don't have any need for baby items, a lot of hair care, feminine products, etc – and I tend to be brand loyal (so I don't use Tide for example but love All). There's where you can either get the Qs someone else isn't going to use and would throw away OR trade for them so you get something you need and they get something they're looking for.

But keep at it – stay organized, take deep breaths when you miss out on something, and remember another deal will ALWAYS come around.

    • Cp Walker

I have a question. All these publix coupons from the flyers say limit one deal per coupon per customer. Does that mean in one transaction i can only use one publix coupon, even if i buy multiples of the same item?

      • Nanleigh10

Publix in Lex SC lets you use a mfg and store coupon for each one. I got 2 John Freida's shampoos today for .49 each.)

      • Gatorginger

    • gbmommy

How long is the John Frieda on sale?

      • Terri

The John Frieda is regular priced however the store coupons expire on Friday May 13th. Even if it was on sale, Publix does not give out rainchecks on products listed in the green and yellow advantage buys flyers. ( Mine doesn't ) Ask your store representative or Manager to initial the coupon if the product is out of stock so that you will be able to use it after the 13th. Or better yet ask customer service to hold you some of the products when they restock before Friday. My store usually restocks general merchandise on Wednesday or Thursday.

        • Gatorginger

      • maria

Jhon Freida shamppo is not on sale; the $2.00 Green Advantage coupon will expire on May 13, that will be the end of the deal

    • Cjakoby

If you are getting the Crystal Light and using the B2G1 coupon make sure you are getting 4 boxes. they are BOGO so here is how it works

      Box 1: pay OOP
      box 2: Free
Box 3: you would be paying for but using the B2G1 coupon to pay for
      Box 4: Free

so you get 4 for $2.99….otherwie you are cheating yoursel out of a free box.

      • PublixCashier

Uh, no. You buy two of them, you get the 3rd one free. EXACTLY as the coupon states. The only possible way to for this is if you're in Florida and you are required to buy two for the BOGOdeal.

My store in SC Id block that in a skinny minute.

        • Klsmith65

I'm in Fl. Can I buy 6 boxes, use 2 B2G1 coupon and only pay for one oop?

          • PublixCashier

Thatd be up to your store…..I am not as familiar with Florida coupon policies as I am in SC….I have never worked in Florida.

          • DLumpkin2001

Yes, that will work. There is also a Target coupon for $1.00 off 3. You can use it too. So I am buying 9 boxes. 6 BOGO and 3 “Free.” So I only pay for three and I get $3 off thoses. In FL Publix considers Target a competitor coupon.

        • Jtdjagos

I'm glad you would stop that. I think Publix is soooo generous with their coupon policy, there is no reason to get greedy…it just ruins it for everyone else.

          • PublixCashier

The policies are really lienient compared with other stores…And I was well trained in coupons by my last manager. I may be young, and Im coupon friendly, but Im not stupid.

      • tori729

FL stores ring them up full price and the next one is free so that is the case there. However in SC (and maybe in all other states too) each item rings up half price so it would not apply there.

      • Maria

You can do better if you buy in groups of 6:

        B2G1 means 3, BOGO means 2, use (2) B2G1 coupons

        Box 1: Free, BOGO
        Box 2: Free BOGO
        Box 3: Free BOGO
        Box 4: Free B2 G1
        Box 5: Free B2 G1
        Box 6: Pay $2.99

You pay $2.99 for 6 or $0.49 each

    • Chris

Publix was amazing yesterday! I had $173.07 worth of groceries (including 1 of the $50 AMEX and 1 $50 BP cards) – after Qs total was $90.88 including tax. Used Publix giftcards I had leftover from overage transactions previously and only paid $47.46 oop. Without the AMEX and BP cards I would have been in the negative!! Woohoo! That was the BEST trip I have ever had! Used the Amex later at Kroger on some pasta and pretzels so have come out ahead all the way around.

Amazing deals – thanks Jenny for the help from your site! Especially the Scrubbing Bubbles Q info – got two of the Toilet Gel at $3.99 each and two of the Fresh Brush refills at $4.29 each but only paid $5.07 for all four after Qs. And Clorox Cleanup spray $0.50 each after Qs. This is why I LOVE Publix and love SouthernSavers.com!

      • Frugal4life

Hey Chris, tell us what you did to get such great deal?

        • Chris

Well I had a Q for just about everything – including the AMEX and BP cards obviously. I had several of the $3 off 50 Qs from Recyclebank so I asked if I could use them in the one transaction instead of having to break them up and the cashier read the Q and told me that it was not a problem. So that was $9 off right there.

I only bought two things that I did not have a Q for – some Publix french fries at $2.99 a bag and 2 packs of the Keebler cookies BOGO at $3.49. Everything else was on sale and I had a Q – like the Clorox Cleanup spray which I got for $0.50 each after Q ($2/1 printable Q) and then stacking Qs like on the Scrubbing Bubbles (I ended up with two toilet gels and two brush refills for $5 bucks – those were over $16 without Qs even on sale).

Or another example I had a Q for the Edwards pie slices which were on sale 2/$2.95 – got one and had a $1/1 Q so that ended up being $0.48. I bought a couple of Phazyme and a couple of Sominex that I still had Qs for so I got a little overage there.

Another example – the Viola meals were BOGO at $4.99. Bought two and had Qs on those I think were $2/1 (that was the family size Q that they told me was fine and they would take). So both ended up being $0.99 plus I used my BOGO Q for Viola get Steamfresh free. Another example was the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray BOGO at $2.89 – I had two Qs for $1/1 (printable) on the spray with olive oil so I got two and paid only $0.89 for both.

I watch for the BOGO and other sales then match my Qs up and make sure I find the highest value Q I can (either printed or from the paper). I don't buy it unless I can get it on sale or in addition to a Q – and patience can pay off (even if I really want something I will a lot of times just wait for it to go on sale). The only thing I don't skimp on is meat – like I bought a whole Top Sirloin for $40 something dollars a couple of months ago and just had them slice it for me (which they will do for free). So I saved an enormous amount on that because usually those steaks go for $7.99/lb when on sale or more regular priced. I also catch really good deals (like the ham lunchmeat at $4.99/lb) and buy several pounds then freeze it in those zipper bags that you can vacuum seal so it lasts (you can do that with cheese too just put wax paper or plastic wrap between the slices if you get it from the deli – if it is pre-packaged those freeze just fine).

I keep an inventory of Qs that I have and keep it color coded (and with me) so I know if a Q is going to expire in 7 days or less, more than 7 but less than 14, less than 30 days, or more than 30 days – and I try to focus on the Qs that are going to expire so I don't lose them (waste not want not). I also do a spreadsheet for each shopping trip that tracks the qty, price, Qs, and total to pay on a per item basis – it auto totals for me and I calculate the tax so I know pretty closely what the order total should be after all is said and done. I do get thrown off when something is not on sale but was listed here or if I make an impulse buy but that's life. I also hang on to overage (like if I can catch such a good deal that I can get a gift card for free or for less than the value of the card) so I can use it later when another really good deal comes along – example is the pharmacy items like Sominex, Phazyme, Gas-X, Ex-Lax, etc that had those awesome Q stacks so I could basically “bank” the overage and use it later (I actually donated every single one I bought so they could give it to someone who runs a free clinic). The overage items are rare when you can get $2 over per deal but they do happen – I doubt I will do as well in the near future until another deal like that comes around.

Just watch out, do the math (sometimes the item advertised on sale is not the real deal but maybe the next size up is – and it still might be on sale just not in the ad), watch for free/overage items and take advantage if you can, and ask questions of the store personnel if you are ever in doubt about being able to get or do something – Publix in particular is really great about actually wanting to help their customers (and that includes saving money with Qs). The Publix's I go to tend to be a little more lenient about Qs – a Customer Service Manager even stated that they used to freak out about someone with a bunch of Qs getting stuff for free or getting money back but after doing the math she said they realized that they weren't losing any money so it wasn't a big deal. She did confirm that Publix is supposed to have a chain-wide coupon policy soon but did not specify when – that may be a good or bad thing I don't know.

    • Tiff

I am so happy this week about my publix run this week. I paid $182 and got $200 worth of gas cards and $184 worth of grocery's. I was sooo excited!

    • JLoyola

My 8 o'clock coffee had peelies on them for free Pepperidge Farms Milano Cookies (up to $3.49) with the purchase of 8 o'clock Coffe. I'm in SWFL.

    • Coupondad

I can't figure this out and still can't. Anyone know why it only takes
$1 off of the 5 fuze drinks instead of $5? I still went to the customer service desk
to inform the manager and he gave me $4 cash back with no questions
asked although he did not have an explanation. Please someone let me
know what's up with this! Has this happened to anyone else?

      • S_cartwright

I read a sign up at my local publix just a few days ago saying that the internet coupon policy had changed. It might have something to do with that…

        • Coupondad

I didn't have any internet coupons so I don't think it was anything to do with that. What policy changed with the internet coupons?

          • Gatorginger

    • itismedia

Okay, I have couponed for years, but I have never done the gas card/ AMEX cards deals. From reading I understand that I cannot use the AMEX card right away, but can I purchase more than one at once or do they need to be seperate transactions? Same question for the gas cards. Also, is there a selection of gas cards or is this for a particular card?
Thanks in advance to all that respond. Happy couponing. A “lifestyle” I hope there is never a 12 step program for! =+)

      • Chris

You know, I tried to buy more than one Amex the last time they offered the deal and was told I could not (even though it was the very last day of the sale). They said it was one Q per customer per transaction and that the intention was that each person only get one. So the store I went to did not allow me to get more than one but other stores may. On the gas card I have been able to buy more than one although I think the Q says the same thing – I guess it depends on your store and what they will or will not allow. And here the gas card Q applies to any gas card but my stores only offer certain ones (I think BP, Hess, Exxon, and Chevron – but no RaceTrak or QuikTrip).

      • Frugal4life

I have purchased 4 Amex with no problems.

      • Janice

This is really hit or miss, even in the same store. It seems to depend on whichever cashier/manager is on duty. I have been limited to only buying one Amex card and I have been allowed to buy 4 at once on a different day. Now I just ask each time I go and follow whatever the policy du jour is. A 10% return on investment is a great deal.

The gas card is a little harder, since you have to buy $25 in groceries to use the coupon and my store will not let the $50 Amex card count as groceries. If you've been doing this for a while, it can be hard to spend $25 in groceries several times in one week – there just isn't that much to buy when you are all stocked up.

        • itismedia

Thanks for the info. I ended up getting one AMEX card and passed on the gas cards. They would have been nice, but I haven't spent 25 at Publix in I don't know how long. My total after coupons last week was only 11.00, It would not have been worth trying to spend more jus for the card. Thanks again!

    • Vdownes

      I found a $.50/1 q for Texas toast croutons, in SS 4/3. Making them only $.49! :)

    • Chrissys_coupons

Got 6 boxes of Crystal Light for $1.62 with 2 BOGO Qs and 2 $1/1 Qs. SO EXCITED! :)

    • Njp2004

Okay I am new to couponing and I am sure it is a simple answer but could someone explain the whole Ken's Dressing for $.49? I have the coupons that were listed in the SS but it is for $1.00 off of 2. Am I missing something…

      • Mommyleaman

I believe that Jenny was using the 1.00 off one coupon, not all regions get exactly the same coupons. You might get a 1.00 off 2 and someone else might get 1.00 off one. You weren't missing anything, you just must not have the right coupon. Happy Couponing! It's worth it!!

    • kk

random question but don't know where else to post… does anyone have advice as how to get printer ink cartridges for cheap?? i'm going thru them a lot faster now since i've been couponing… i was thinking about looking into “refills” at cartridge world. thanks!

      • kims

Jenny has posted deals with 123Inkjets.com before. I have also used them. very good deals!

      • guest

I get mine refilled at Walgreens. It is about $10-$13.

      • Bh

I got tired of running out of ink so i purchased online a liter of each color. Ink when purchased by the cartridge (4 oz approx) comes to about $300/gallon

        • Chris

That's why I use laser – my toner cart is good for ~10-15k pages. Granted it costs almost $200 but that works out to be between 1 and 2 cents per page. Most inkjets have expensive ink because their capacity is so low and that's where the profit is – on consumables. I'm thinking about going with the new Lexmark 901 and consolidate 2 printers into one – it may be an inkjet but it performs like a laser and the cost for ink is only $5 for black (works out to right about a penny per page). The drawback is that it costs upfront – $200 for the printer even on sale.

          • maria

What kind of printer you have now? I have a Lexmark but it is too expensive, I am using only the black cartridges, but $20.00 for cartridge is a lot.
            Any advice, I will appreciate.

            • Chris

I have two – a Lexmark Optra T620 laser (it's actually a 620dtn which means it has network, two trays, and a duplexer which allows me to print on both sides of the page for everything but coupons). I also have a little Epson all-in-one that desperately needs to be replaced (I put cheap ink cartridges in it and it killed the printer – I can still scan and send faxes but the print head is all clogged up so phooey on cheap ink). My Lexmark laser is TEN YEARS old – it has been an absolute workhorse but needs a part replaced ($165 cost – $100 for the service call and $65 for the part) which is the only reason I'm thinking of replacing it and the Epson with one printer. But if I can find a really good deal on a decent all-in-one then I'll keep the Lexmark and just have it repaired – I love that thing and will be loyal to Lexmark for as long as I can if they keep putting out quality products or products that use very inexpensive ink (like that 901 inkjet I was talking about – the ink from Lexmark themselves is only $5 per black cartridge and that will get you about 500 pages).

      • Laney

Try Amazon. I've been buying it there for the last year & am saving a ton!

      • Ashley

walgreens refills ink cartridges for like $12 i think. thats what i do with mine. way cheaper than replaceing mine for $60

      • Jessicahurff

Staples has a program where they will give you credit for your used cartriges, and they also have a good rewards program. That is what i I have been suing because I am going through it like crazy too :-)

      • Johnson8985

I ran into the same problem printing so many coupons, I'm new to this only been doing it 3 months, i read most couponers buy a laser printer, well i just can't afford that, but walgreens is doing ink refills for $9.99 and mine has lasted 5 weeks sofar.

    • Beautygurl_8

How do I print these?Im lost on where to get the barcode at?

    • JoshuaGriffing

HATES the fact that the spring and summer coupon booklets are GONE at my 3 local Publix…this is RIDICULOUS people…come on…

    • Jatonyap

I went in my Jax FL Publix yesterday and they has a coupon pad with the Crystal Lights for $2 off 1 they are BOGO at 2.99 so I purchased 22 and used the copons for an additional $11 off my total my 53.00 order was 9.20 I had 9 or 10 other items with the purchase.

      • Sunshine31326

That's nice that you saved money, but with you taking and using so many of the coupons off the coupon pad that doesn't leave many for others who come behind you. Everyone likes a good deal!

    • Bh

what is a “nut” stock up price for Charmin TP and such?

      • Chris

The acorn shown on the list means it is a really good price so stock up if you can.

    • HMP

I am new to publix. I saw there was a publix store coupon for $1.00 off beneful dog food. The coupon states “Limit one deal per coupon per customer.” I have two of these coupons and want to buy two bags of dog food. Does this mean that I have to do two different transactions?

      • Chris

Depends on your store and the people on shift in that store. Some will only allow one per customer period, some per transaction, and some just don't care and you could use whatever number, within reason, you want. I have three Publix close to me so have learned where to go, and at what time, depending on what Qs I want to use.

    • Kate

I made my first extreme coupon purchase at Publix today. When the Oscar Mayer coupons came out a couple weeks ago I acquired 60 coupons at a fantastic price. When I saw that Publix had them on sale I spoke with one of the managers and asked them to place a special order for me for 60 packages of the Premium hot dogs. The hot dogs arrived at the store today and I went to pick them up. My sister in law and my 12 year old daughter went dumpster diving for coupons this morning and they found me a coupon for $5 off a $30 Publix purchase. I paid $33.70 for 60 packages of hot dogs!

      • Jim

ok – gotta ask.. are you giving them away? If not, how in the world are you going to store 60 pkgs of hotdogs? You must either have extra refrigerators or freezers – maybe a walk-in????

        • Kate

We have a chest type freezer (I so wish I had a walk in). They actually don't take up as much room as you think. No I am not giving them away I am just trying to feed 9 kids the hot dogs we like at an affordable price since Wal-Mart just increased the price on them to $3 a pack..

          • Chris

You're right about the freezers. I just bought one yesterday at Brandsmart for $150 out the door (5cu ft). Not that I really have the room for it but my freezer on my fridge was full and I wanted to take advantage of some things that were ending on sale at Publix (like the Viola meals, the Birdseye veggies, etc). If you're looking for a freezer that was the best price I could find and it fits pretty well in the corner of my dining room – and it has a $15 rebate too so the end price, with tax, is $137 after rebate. Not a bad deal.

    • Reregene07

I can't find the other pedigree coupon for $2 off…what zip code should i search under?

    • novicecouponer

Did not find any Classico Jars at my Publix with the $1 off coupon. I live in FL. Do you know if this offer was excluded in some places?

      • Lizz

i found them on pasta boxes that were bogo a few weeks ago. not mullers, the other pasta that went bogo, sorry forgot the brand, but yea, not on the jars for me. i'm in tally FL

    • Heather

Did my last minute trip to Publix on my lunch break today. Not a happy camper. So I stopped by the front desk and got my $50 AE gift card and found out at the register that it would not work for 24hrs. I also found out at the register that they no longer take walgreen coupons. So didn't do as well as I would have liked, not a horrible trip. Spent $113 and saved $94 which included a $50 gas card. Thanks Jenny for all that you help us with. Oh one other tid bit! I found out over the weekend that Walmart is now taking competitors coupons and will give you the overage as well.

    • Roehrigk

I went to store yesterday and the Purina cat litter was not on sale? Anyone else have this problem?
