    • Snowski824

Thanks for getting it up kinda early!

    • Connell_44

Does anybody have the zip code for the Old El Paso I have been looking for it all day!

      • wendy robbins

I would love to know also

        • To my knowledge, the Old El Paso are no longer available. I saw on ihearpublix where alot of people are looking for them and no one has found them. I saw it probably a week ago and didn't print it and haven't seen it since.

      • kelleyroo

I'm also looking for this one!

      • Ginny

I have been looking for 2 days-it was up last week but I think it must be gone now so it should probably be taken off???

        • kelleyroo

You're right, I think it's gone. I just tried a few zip codes that others said worked. Bummer!

        • Beth Anne

Some people might still have this coupon in their files, so probably shouldn't remove it. I got one, not as great though, at the customer service desk at Publix tonight.

          • Ginny

You're right-I didn't think about that! Maybe just note that print limit has been reached?? I am pretty sure its gone though. I would love to be wrong!!

        • ladybugbob1029

          It's gone for me too

    • Thanks for getting the list up early. Not a great week for me, but I'll go to get a couple of things. :)

    • Peg938

So I'm in Publix this evening at the customer service desk getting rain checks for 3 items that were out of stock…and there's a lady with a handful of coupons behind me who asks, “So, you must do Southern Savers too!” :)

I live in Goodlettsville, Tn & shop around the Old Hickory, Hendersonville and Madison areas and at least once or twice a week I see a woman or 2 with a big book of coupons and a Southern Saver shopping list. At 1st, I thought how cool and introduced my self and would say hi and to say that I'm a fan too. You know, just a friendly exchange. But everytime, i was greeted with a sour look and silence. Not a friendly bunch of couponers in my area. At least not the ones I run into.

        • sharon60

That happened to me at Krogers in Dalton. I had some Q's that were expiring that I wasn't going to use and walked up to a woman with a binder and thought I'd give them to her. Never a thank you or any conversation, she just stared at me with a sour expression, accepted the Q's and turned her back on me. So I just continue to place Qs I don't want on the shelf with the item. I've picked up lots that way so I know somebody nice is out there in Krogerland!!

    • Caritob40

I am very New to PUBLIX, can anybody explain me what is “Advantage Buy Deals”…please, TNX

      • Gingiraffe

They are ads in the store that run for certain dates (usually about 2 weeks or so.) They are green or yellow and have the specials (like Jenny listed) and usually store and manufacturer coupons. You can find them in the turnstiles where the weekly ads are kept. hth

    • SarahD

the $1.50/1 Crystal Light coupon isn't for the 8 qt that's included in the sale.

    • Beth Anne

Manager at Publix in Vestavia Hills gave me a coupon book, Better At Home, tonight with the following coupons, some of which apply to this sale:

      -$1 three Progresso soups
-$1 three Hamburger, Tuna or Chicken Helper Cooked Skillet Meals
-$1 one any Cascadian Farm product

      • Beth Anne

the book also has recipes on each page to use with the products. it's a nice little booklet!

        • Beth Anne

          they are Manufacturer's coupons

        • Bethanyhopewheeler

          Which Bilo were you at?

      • Susan

I got this coupon book at Bilo tonight, at the cash register, so be on the lookout. I am in Chattanooga.

        • Kelly

Which Bi-Lo in Chattanooga has this booklet?

        • Pattyduggan

I also found the q book at bilo service desk.I would have missed it but needed a raincheck

      • Sheila

I found this same coupon booklet at Sweetbay yesterday! I picked up 2. Great for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bogo deal this week at publix.

    • Wilto

Not a great week for me this week!

    • Julie B

I always look for your Publix preview on Tuesday nights. Thanks Jenny.

Does anyone have the Toss for Cash booklet? Mine didn't have a lender's bagel coupon- what did everyone else's have…I live in South Florida.

      • Pinkandblackcrazy

there is 2 different toss for cash books flordia and georgia it is in the georgia one

        • Guest

Thanks- that is what I thought :(

      • Jessica

There is a GA version & a FL version of that booklet (with different coupons). The GA version has the Lender's coupon.

      • Kleeworkman

Im in South Florida too and missed the vlasic coupons..

    • DonnaTN

There was also a coupon for the Pasta Rice A Roni for $1/3 a while back.

      • Lindsey

do you know when that was donna or what insert? thanks

        • DonnaTN

It was a printable. I'm gonna say it was last month probably and since they updated the new coupons for this month, it's possible it's not available anymore. You can however google it or “swagbucks” it and also check their main website for possible coupons.

    • millie

went to my publix in prattville, alabama yesterday and was talking to one of the assistant managers and she was telling me that in a couple of weeks they are going to a very strict coupon policy. basically it will be manf. coupons and publix coupons ONLY. they will not accept any comp. coupon from anywhere. i did not ask if this was company wide or that one store so i guess we will see in the next little bit. just thought i would share.

      • CouponLinda2010

May want to verify if its just that store. We have 4 in Tuscaloosa all have different policys.

      • Lisaallynn

They will not stick with it. They never do. It always depends on your store manager. Just hold tight, or go to another location.

    • Napatrick

Found .55 coupons for Goldfish in the bags I got from Kroger a couple of weeks ago. They expire 12/31/10.

    • sharon60

Is it too late to get the Conagra Home Mailer, somehow I missed that one? thx

      • This was a rebate booklet you got for buying $25 of Conagra products. The offer is over but they run them fairly frequently so hold tight till the next one.

        • sharon60

Thanks! Guess I need to buy some stamps and mail some of these forms off! :)

    • talljennr

Very excited, it is a good week for me.

    • Faye

Is the blue “store” box shown in the lists covering up the value of the coupons listed for anyone else? I'm trying to figure out if it's my computer or if everyone is having the same problem. I've viewed the list in FireFox and IE and it is the same for both.

      • Shop Now

Looks fine here. This has happened to me in the past and a reboot cleared things up. Another possibility is that your screen is zoomed in. To reset your browser to its default press “Ctrl-0” simultaneously (that's a zero, not an ohhhh)

      • My husband is saying for you to clear your cache (like browsing history) and that should do it. Let me know if it doesn't work

    • CouponLinda2010

Has anyone tried the to get the Tone coupon? I went to the site, had to give them my information, then was told. Coupon NOT available! What's up with that??

      • Yolanda

        Same thing happened to me.

      • ladybugbob1029

        Same here.

    • Joanne

I live in Marietta Ga. Any one else not see the Beech Nut Stage 2 Baby Food coupons. How come I can't find them? UGHHHHH.

      • Zombiemommy

What's your store? I much prefer the Sandy Plains/Scufflegrit Publix, very coupon friendly.

        • MaggieC

Love this Publix! Never too crowded so you don’t have to worry about a line behind you.

      • melissa

Just wanted to let you know, I have been teaching classes in that area, and a few ppl asked me to do the research…did you know that the Publix at Macland rd willl allow you to use 3 coupons per item!?!?!
A manufacturer, publix and a competitor coupon on each item! HOLY MOLY! :) No other publix's in that area agreed to do that when I called!

        • Myerstone

I wish a Publix in the Hemitage/Old Hickory, TN area would do something like that. Mine will take only Kroger and Food Lion as competitors and they will only take 2 coupons on a single item.

          • ALT22

I also shop at the Hermitage Publix and they take Kroger, Food Lion, Save-A-Lot, Whole Foods, and now they are starting to accept Target because of the Super Target that is going to open in Donelson…..just an FYI!!!

        • Mlsshartz

This is what got me hooked on couponing…Back in June/July I went into Publix in Mt. Pleasant, SC (Park West Shopping Center) with a few coupons for Huggies. We asked the manager if we could use them all and he said yes. If we had a problem to let him know. That was before I knew about stacking. For one bag of Huggies they took:

          (1) Baby Club Coupon (Publix Cp)

          (1)Weekly Insert Cp (Publix)

          (1)Manufacturer Cp.

We didn't even need the manager. The computer took it.

      • Kelley

I get AJC and I was looking for it also. I have the Baby Club q and was hoping to stack.

    • Lke212

I think I'm going to take the week off. I just went to publix today in Lebanon Tn I did GREAT!!!Spent 42 and saved 148!!!Soooo this week doesn't look all that great but Yay for anyone who needs babyfood that is a great Price!!!!!

      • Myerstone

I also live in TN, Old Hickory area. I would love to see your list of match ups. I am new to this and I can't seem to save that much. I can do something like spend 82.00 and save $98.00. I would love any tips you have also. Thanks for your help.

    • Starr

Does anybody else have problems out of the Nestly family website? It drives me crazy! I finally found the q's and selected print and then it tells me the page can not be found. Do you have any tips for me?? Thanks!

      • melissa

try a different browser. It doesn't seem to like it when I use Internet explorer…but firefox works fine. :)

    • Hmmm… I only have 4 items on my list so far! Not such a great week.

    • Crystalchuckgracie

if you are a member of they baby club, there is a coupon for $1.50 off of 8 jars of beech nut!!!!!!!

    • Babyblue610

Ok, I'm pretty new to this couponing thing and have loved it accept for one thing- it seems more often than not the Smart Source and Red Plum coupons listed aren't really in mine- so for example, i'll see a deal on here that uses a RP coupon and I'll search that date of my RP book, but nada:/ I'm in Chattanooga… something I'm doing wrong, or do the RP and SS booklets just differ?

      • susansaver

There are regional variations to the inserts. Jenny posts these weekly if she gets the information from readers in different parts of the country. If you click on the Sunday Ad Inserts button, you will see the weekly posts that have the coupon variations for different regional inserts. HTH

      • ladybugbob1029

Same here. I am in middle GA and the majority of the deals on here aren't in my RP or SS booklets. They just differ by geographical area I think.

        • Reymannkids

You can buy other regional inserts on eBay for next to nothing if you aren't happy with your own inserts.

        • Anonymous

I’m surprised you say that. I get the AJC and it usually has most of the coupons listed. We even get a few high value coupons that others don’t get.

      • beka

yes it drives me crazy! I'd say 65% of the time I go to look up a coupon that is listed here or another site, I don't have them in my coupons. I can't get anyone to answer why they are REALLY different. I understand that there are different regions but seriously that is a big difference. And tons of the sites with people that live in my area post these very same coupons and I know THEY dont have them. I don't have any of the baby food coupons and this is the kinds I always buy. FRUSTRATING! (I feel you!)

        • Emabee63

Go to the individual RP and SS sites, use a different zipcode, and look for the varying coupons. 90210 is a popular one to use, but any east large coast city will do as well. I use 01201 quite often since they are a test market for new products. Hope this helps!

        • Reymannkids

You can buy other regional inserts on eBay for next to nothing if you aren't happy with your own inserts.

      • Bethany

Because unfortunately Chattanooga has hardly any coupons in their paper. I hate it; but it's all we get here.

      • Outtolunchmom

I also live in Chattanooga. My daughter lives in Atlanta. when I called the Times-Freepress to find out why her coupons are so much better than mine they said the paper has no control over which coupons are sent. Generally the larger markets get the best coupons. I am lucky. My daughter mails me coupons or picks up the item for me.

      • Tambry

If enough of us complain to the Times Free Press maybe they will do something about it. Years ago you could buy the Atlanta Jornal at the Shallowford post office. Maybe we all need to make a call so we can buy them. With so many couponers in this area, I'm sure they'd sell out. Try ebay and buy whole inserts.

      • Stoker Rachel

I have had the very same frustrations. I have found it to be worth while to order whole inserts from different websites. It costs a few cents for each insert. I have used the coupon insert list on here to see which inserts it would be worth ordering. They usually charge less than a dollar… although they call it shipping costs. Not sure if it's ok to list on here the website I use…

        • jlarmor

I would dearly love the website you order from. Since we don’t know if you can post it on Southern Savers, would you be willing to send it to my email address? You can reach me at juliesandlin@charter.net
I would certainly appreciate it! Thanks so much

      • we should all start a run to atlanta.. each person go one sunday and buy for the group lol ;) or maybe I could start a buisness doing that haha i already get the AJC paper and I tell you its worth it.. I had to get a bigger binder and now its full..

    • charlestonmom

Anyone else having a heard time finding the $1 off Digiorno Pizza? I am either blind or it wasn't there..HELP!

    • Bookbeth1011

There is a link on the Tone web page to offer comments. I think everyone that gives their information, but doesn't get the coupon (yep- I didn't get it either) should complain to the parent company (Henkel- I already sent my e-mail). If they ask for demographic information in exchange for a coupon or discount they should either honor it, or take it off the website.

    • Quick note – there seems to be a small error in the match-ups – The $1.50 printable for Crystal Light does not go with the Crystal Light that's BOGO this week. The BOGO is for 8qt and the coupon is for 12qt. Might want to update. Thanks!

    • sealey5

Hello everyone! Does anyone know if the Central Florida Publix will take Rite Aid q's? I got several printed off their website and was just curious if they took them, I haven't seen Rite Aid in our area. Thank you!

      • macboy

No. They only take grocery store coupons (including Target).

        • grubbmichael

The manager at my local Pulix in Lakeland, FL advised me on Friday that corporate had sent out a coupn to no longer take Target coupons. Has anyone else heard this? He took my coupons on Friday, but was just giving me a head's up. I have hooked him up several times with coupons he needed, so he was looking out for me.

          • flowerbed5

Changes here at the Prattville, AL store, too. They are no longer taking and matching Target, CVS, Rite-Aid, etc. True competitor (grocery store) matches only (such as Winn Dixie). Still doubling vendor coupons for .50 or less. Love their BOGO, Advantage Deals, clean store, and customer service!!

            • grubbmichael

The one up on Griffin/Kathleen Road. Town and Country Square I think it is called. One of the customer service managers told me on Friday. Several of my friends are still using them at other Publix as current as today, however.

            • Subohfam

I shop at the 1 on the north side lake gibson publix n they are still taking competitor coupons and they r very coupon friendly.. Last wk my total was $263 n some change n walked out paying around $70.. I luv them there

          • Sheila

Which Publix in Lakeland are you talking about?

          • Sheila

Just went to publix on the northside Lake gibson publix today (Thursday) and they took my $1 off produce coupon from Target. So far so good here. They are always nice about coupons. They even took a Winn Dixie free cup cake coupon I received last week from the baby club. I asked the manager 1st and said I love publix cupcakes better and they said they had no problem taking it.

          • macboy

Could this manager have been only talking about stores in areas where there is not a Super Target? The last time I checked, supercenters like Walmart put grocery stores out of business, especially in small towns, therefore making them competitors.

    • Esha

Any Beech-Nut Items (Includes Let’s Grow!), $1/3, printable

      • Kristie

        Thanks. That's a great one.

    • dweeb

there is a pdf coupon for Joffrey’s coffee out there. is this valid? (Removed)

      • No sorry. PDF coupons should only be used if they are on the manufacturer's site. Joffrey is no longer offering that coupon on their site so any further use might not be reimbursed. The only coupon they do have on their site expired 2/28/10

        • grubbmichael

Jenny, I am sorry for sending that in with the .pdf location. Still learning. Two months in and saved over $700.00 so far! Thanks to your hard work, and the others sharing info. Wanted to pass one along, and apologize for not realizing that was no good.

    • Rachel Greene

go to beachnut.com and sign up for the newsletter, you will get cpns in your email right away

      • Cinco

        No such website. try beechnut.com

    • macboy

Has anyone noticed that breakfast meat prices are going up. I could always score name brand bacon for no more than $3.00 a package. Winn-Dixie used to do BOGO Free sales on Oscar Meyer with an original price of $5.79. Now, I can't even get store brand bacon for $3.00. Publix's regular price on the Jimmy Dean sausage has gone up (usually $2.99), but now it is on SALE for $3? Ugh? It's usually on sale for $2.00 or $2.50.

      • Superjen

If you have an aldi near you, their frozen sausage patties/links are 89 cents a box and taste exactly the same as name brand, my daughter is super picky and didn't notice the difference. I haven't tried if they have rolls of fresh sausage, I may actually try to make some myself soon!

      • joyfullysaving

Aldi Rocks… There Bacon is good and priced under $2 in my area. They also have Turkey Bacon which tastes great too..

      • Lana

If you have Bi-Lo nearby they have Carolina Pride sausage rolls BOGO this week (2.99). It is not quite as good as J Dean but at 1.50 a roll I am not complaining. I always freeze 8-10 when they have them BOGO.

      • macboy

I’m in Florida, so it’s only Publix and Winn-Dixie as far as regular chains are concerned. There is an Aldi. I even noticed during my last visit to Target that their breakfast meat prices are creeping up too.

    • Bigrattler

      This Site Rocks. :-)

    • Snowski824

Just a heads up. When it says “Tropicana Trop50 Orange Juice or Other Juices, 59 oz., at $3.79 ($1.89)” the Other Juices don't include regular orange juice, it's only other Trop 50 flavors. Regular OJ is 2 for $6.

    • Karien

Can any one tell me where to find the Dream big Save big booklet?

      • PaigeL

        Found mine at BiLo

    • Kbsc

I can't find the Red Plum coupon for Loreal Preference hair Color. Anyone know the zipcode it is under? Thanks so much!

      • Frommyhome2yours

It was in my insert and I live in 37069…just gave three of them to a friend who was in town visiting. She uses the stuff, I don't…so a nice one for her!

    • momhamby

can anyone tell me where i can find the Barilla sauce coupon listed on site in 8-29-ss but not in any ss anywhere that i can find i have looked in all citys listed on the 8-29 ss inserts thank you for any help i can get

      • dweeb

we didn't get it in Gvl, SC. You can see it on the Atlanta listing, but it's not on ours

      • val

You can try a coupon clipping service or Ebay. They have these coupons

    • Mrs Embee

As a member of Publix Baby Club I have a store Q for $1.50/8 jars stage 2 Beech-Nut Baby Food! That makes it $0.08/jar!

      • Twlaughlin

        Me too!!!

    • MoGirl

Publix on Central Ave in Summerville had $5 Publix coupon on big box Huggies diapers. You have to ask at the customer service desk. I haven't seen a high dollar diaper coupon in a long time.

      • Summerrose78

I am in Summerville also and new to this whole thing. I am confused on the ads when Southern Savers tells you under the Publix ad item they will say for example $1 off coupon in RP but whenever I go to that website I never find the coupons that Southern Savers is saying is there to print. Any advice?

        • Gingiraffe

RP means that it could either have been in an insert in the paper (and will be followed by the date the insert was released) or that it is a printable from the redplum website. The website is regional (as are smartsource and coupon dot com) so the coupon may not be available in your area. A lot of times you will see posts here asking about different zip codes to use to get a coupon and that is why. Or it could have already been pulled off the site by the time you get to it. They only put so many out there and once they are all printed then they are gone until they reset them again. HTH

          • Summerrose78

Thank you! That makes a little more sense :0) So these “inserts” for Smart Source and Red Plum ect are found in the Sunday newspapers and such?

    • flowerbed5

Trying to print my “Printable Shopping List” but am now getting an error that I don't have enough memory to do so. I didn't have any problems last week or in weeks prior. Any ideas? I really like this list with coupon matchups!! Thanks!

    • Julie

The Publix in spring hill TN has oscar Meyer lunchables for 10 for $10 :)

    • Nicnac456

When do the Bricks coupons reset?

      • Guest

Not all resets so it would depend on each one. i find at the first of month if that company resets.

    • Alicecarrera91

Why is it when I try to print PRINTABLE it shows “Sorry, there are no prints remaining for this campaign”?

      • MB

me too! I tried to print the Special K granola coupon and it said the limit had been reached. When I logged in to Coupons.com the Special K Coupon was not there. Is there another way to get the coupon, Jenny?

      • Guest

Each coupon has a number of certain prints or period of how long they run for.

      • Mandi

If you click on the Next button, it will take you to the page and you can download it from there. :-)

    • Amyjkraft

There was a Kimberly-Clark coupon book by the turnstile at my Publix today in Alpharetta that has a Publix Q for $5 off any box of Huggies.

      • Kelly

I found that one at my Chattanooga Publix last week. I am planning to stack the $5 Publix Q with a $2.50 MQ that I have for the little movers diapers. I will also use the $2 Publix Q for huggies wipes refills and stack w/ a MQ for wipes. That should be enough to use the $5 rebate form (WYB $25 Kimberly Clark in one shopping trip) that came in that coupon book. Really excited!!

    • Ajinfinger

I didnt have a chance to read all these comments- but does anyone know if i need a certain zip to find the old el paso qs?

      • I think it's gone.

        • grubbmichael

There will be Old El Paso coupons in the SS this Sunday. Also, there is a $1.00/3 in the “Better At Home Booklet” I just picked up at Sweetbay. All manufacture coupons.

          • I don't see Old El Paso in Jenny's coupon preview.

          • Ajinfinger

I didnt get it in my region! ugh!

    • Angela

I printed out the Mayfield Icecream coupon and it only has one small barcode on it when most coupons have 2. Is this normal?

    • MJ

I live in Huntsville, AL (Hampton Cove area actually) and was wondering if anyone has a preference as to which Publix they go to in town for couponing? I am still trying to feel my way out in couponing and in Huntsville. Thanks!

      • Hilary

I live in Meridianville but my parents live in Hampton Cove. I never have as much luck at the Hampton Cove Publix as I do in meridianville. Also the publix at whitesburg and airport is better than HC

        • Denise

I live in Hazel Green but work in Hampton Cove. The Meridianville one is great and I never have a problem with the one in Hampton Cove although I hear the one at Airport/Whitesburg is better with competitors' coupons.

      • Gingiraffe

I live in Harvest so I shop at the ones in Madison/Limestone Co, but my kids go to daycare at Trinity United Methodist, so I do a lot of shopping at the one on Whitesburg and Airport. They are very coupon friendly there. So far they still take Target and Kroger coupons, but not any of the drugstores.

      • saree

I have never had the slightest problem at the Publix at Mountain Gap/Bailey Cove. LOVE that store!!

    • Sandy

I've only been a Southern Saver since May, but it seems like it's always Stage 2 baby foods for sale. Do you ever see deals for Stage 3?? (And I do make my own baby food– I like the jar stuff for traveling and when there isn't time!. ;))

      • Twlaughlin

The printable coupon is for any stage. I also make my own babyfood but also like the jar stuff for traveling or when I can get it for a lot less than I can make it for like in this weeks ad!!! :)

    • Bnwsmile

My local Publix stopped accepting Target Coupons. I was told that it was all Publix soon enough. Just a heads up!

      • Frommyhome2yours

Where do you live? I was just told by my Publix Mgr. that they don't accept them…about 1 week ago. I hope it's true!

      • scrcline

My Publix did the same thing. Their employees have made me feel like a criminal because I use coupons. I called around to some other Publix in my city and there are others that do accept all competitor coupons. I think it will be worth the extra mile to do my shopping at a different Publix from now on.

      • Jkersh12

HALL COUNTY Publixs do not accept Target anymore either. They made me feel stupid like I should have known that. They did 2 weeks ago!!! Why are they doing this??

        • kalmom

Tell me about it! I've called every one! I've heard the one in Buford off of hwy 20 and Suwanee Dam does accept Target and RiteAid! May have to make a trip!

      • Tonja Zecha

My Augusta Publix told me they stopped accepting Target q's because they are not considered a true grocery store–we don't have the Super Target stores here either. They consider Target a department store, not a grocery store. Ugh!

    • Jane

Aah. I'm sorry to be “one of those” but, where do you get the Fuel for School booklet?

      • Suboys64

looked forever, finally found them with sales fliers by front door at Publix. lots of bagel bites finally!!

    • Jellybeanlmb

Does anyone know how to get the L'Oreal Preference Haircolor printable coupons? I'm not seeing them and my RedPlum doesn't have it either…..is there a cretain zip code I can find it under? Thanks!

      • Laura

There is a $3 off any L'Oreal haircolor in the 8/15 Redplum newspaper insert of the AJC.
I can't find the printables either.

    • Just a heads up. I stopped at Food Lion at Kennerly Rd. on my way home and found the new (September) Nature's Place magazine near the Red MVP machine. It's FREE.
There are 2 coupons in it:
$1/2 Dr. Oetker Organics baking mixes.
      $1/ 1 Snyder's eatsmart naturals snack 5oz. or larger.
      They are both Manufacturer's coupons.

    • Kenneth

I have a toss for cash coupon for 2$ off t.g.i. friday's value size?, is this not the same thing?

    • Kcrewfive

I found a NEW coupon booklet at Publix tonight! All store Q's. It's called Heinz toss 4 cash. $24 in savings.

    • happymom

I have a few Beechnut coupons if anyone is willing to trade. Anyone have any Goldfish coupons?

      • Twlaughlin

I would love to have your beechnut coupons. Those coupons must be regional b/c I can't find them in either of my ads.

I would give you Goldfish coupons if I had some but I don't, anything else you need?

        • happymom

Leave your email address and I'll get your contact info and send you the coupons!

    • Brooke

I live in Florida, so our sale adds start on Thursdays; however, I was in Publix this evening about an hour before closing to pick up some more Kraft Cheese for $1! I noticed they were removing signs and posting new signs, so I was wondering if they were like CVS and there sales actually started a few hours before closing the day before the advertised sale. If they are posting signs, don't they have to honor them?

      • Lmg1922

I live in florida ( near Destin) and our ads start on Weds. So maybe they do too where you live and you just havent noticed or been in on a Wed? Either way, I do believe Publix honors all of their signs. I have gotten a few things for pennies due to them having the wrong price tag or sign on an item.

      • Diana Riley

I have come across this before. Publix will honor their signs, but the actual sale does not start until the next day. I thought I had come across an unmarked sale. I had to go back the next day for a refund because i did not notice it on my receipt.

    • Phyllis

If your publixs takes competitors q's there is a q for the glad trash bags in the walgreens book!

    • ckb5

Thanks to the person who left a $1 off coupon with the cereals that were on sale a couple of days ago, at the E. Brainerd Publix! I was wishing I had a coupon for the Wheaties, and then found it on the shelf! Just wanted to let you know it was much appreciated! :)

      • Love that! We have a coupon fairy at my Publix to. Random acts of kindness like that totally make my day. :-)

      • I shop there all the time! I have 8 computers at my house from which I can print from all of them. I am always leaving coupons behind and if I see someone buying something that I have coupons for I give them to them. I also share with my fav cashiers ;) I call them “my ladies” haha :)

    • I don't remember seeing this posted ……If you buy the Publix brand 100% beef patties (their 7.99) u get $ 1.00 off wyb 2 packages of Kraft Cheese Singles. Found it when we were gathering the $5.00 promo…

    • lizclene

Also, the September 2010 issue of Seventeen has a 1.00 off Cover Girl coupon.

    • jennifer

There is a 1.00 coupon inside the Thermacare booklet if you have gotten some already. :)

    • Keisha Morris

Is there a zip code for the Digiorno Deep Dish coupon? It isn't popping up on mine …

    • Coleman19972000

I can't get the Bailey's coupon to print.

      • Barbara

I had the same problem…I had printed this a long time ago when they were on sale last. I was doing some clean-up on my computer and got rid of all the “cookies”, and now it is printing. Not sure if it helped with others that say I printed my limit, but it worked for the Bailey's.

    • gracie1

I get so frustrated sometimes! This morning out of the 12 items on my publix list, I cannot get the Kellogg's Special K coupons to print, I don't have the Old El Paso coupon, Mayfield coupons are gone, Maxwell House says I've reached my limit (but I can't remember when the last time I bought MH was!) My family is not wild about the 1 cent vanilla wafers . . . I'm ready to go back to bed :(

    • Rachee17

Anyone wanna trade? I need the old el paso Q. Thanks!

    • kinsi

I've got enough brownie mix to last me for the next decade I think (8 boxes! yikes. Will most certainly donate some…) Also picked up toaster strudel, one box of old el paso, cookie mix, mayfield ice cream, the penny wafers, and a box of excedrin migraine (which I'll need after eating all that ice cream :D) Spent 17.56, saved 47.25. Saved 73%. Second best Publix trip to date! Thanks SS.

      • kinsi

oh, word of warning, be careful with the brownies – the sale is only on “family size” mixes. The first ones I grabbed weren't on sale.

    • Rachee17

I found barilla on the page with the barilla spaghetti at the very beginning of the booklet on the top (2nd or 3rd page). If you are missing it, I have some I can trade you for old el paso Qs.

    • Janet

I live an hour away from the nearest Publix. The only grocery store in my area is Wal-mart. I was informed this morning that they are not going except internet coupons. Is it worth it to drive an hour to Publix? Any comments?

      • My answer is yes and no. This is going to require some background so please be patient with me. Several years ago I was shopping at Publix and buying most of what I needed for the week from the BOGO list. I spent around $150 a week for food and household supplies for my husband, my dog, my cat and me. Then all hell broke loose with the economy and my husband's income was impacted. At that point I started shopping at WalMart. I consider WalMart to be my particular brand of hell. I believe that if I die and go to hell that it will mean being trapped in a WalMart for all eternity. I am 99% serious on that. So suffice it to say I was completely miserable and would come home from the store homicidal and not very nice. (I also cut out all the “fun” things I ever bought such as yogurt, cereal, fresh fruits & veggies and cut our grocery to the bare bones at $100 a week which got me a pittance of things at WalMart and made me mad)

After a few months of this, I decided that there HAD to be a way to save money at Publix so I googled “I love Publix” and came across this wonderful blog. Wonderful doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this blog. Truly there aren't words to describe it. I pray for Jenny and her family and thank God for her on a regular basis. But enough about all of that…

When I first started shopping I continued to spend around $100 a week at Publix for several reasons: a) I had not built up my coupon supply so many of the coupons mentioned I didn't have b) I did not have access to a good reliable printer c) I made beginner mistakes d) I wouldn't jump on deals right away and would miss out on them e) I bought things I wanted that might not necessarily be at their best price. After about 3 months I started building up a stockpile of things. After about 6 months my house was exploding with freebies. I was literally giving things away. After 8 months I quit playing the drugstore game because I had over a years worth of every single personal item my husband and I could ever need. All along the way I gradually cut my grocery budget back. I also quit shopping at multiple stores FOR THE MOST PART (I did go to Bi-Lo last week & I still shop Kroger Mega sales). Whereas before I would go a couple of times a week as new coupons were found or more deals appeared now I go once a week maybe. Some months I skip two weeks of shopping and maybe pick up some milk.

I am more than happy to report that I now spend around $30 on groceries a week (if you average in weeks I don't shop) but I don't beat myself up if I spend more.

I tell you all this to let you know that eventually you will be able to cut out a HUGE portion of your grocery budget but it won't happen overnight. It takes time and practice to master this system and it takes patience and time to build a stockpile. If I shopped the way that I do now at Publix and had to drive an hour to get there I would still save tons of money.

Give yourself time and don't beat yourself up like I would do when I would forget to hand over a coupon or mess up a deal. This is HARD WORK. But it is rewarding work and very worthwhile.

I want to end this by saying thank you to Jenny. Without you none of this would have been possible. Words can't express…

p.s. sorry for the incredibly long response.

        • Hasfam

          Nicely put. Great story.

        • Subohfam

I agree with ur story… This is the same thing im going thru right now.. I used 2 only shop @ wal-mart until a friend of mine told me about this coupon sight.. I only used 2 shop @ pubix 4 my meat… Now that is the only place I shop n Ive been saving loads of money, we r a family of 5 n just last wk I saved over 200.00…

        • JennyBmom

I love your comparison of Wal-Mart to “eternal hell.” I laughed so hard! I agree with you. Great story. Well said.

        • Jessie

Love your story, and I completely agree. I used to spend about $80 every two weeks for my husband, me and my dog, but I would usually only come home with a couple of bags of groceries and we ate out a lot – we often suffered from “we only have an inch of milk and 2 stale pieces of bread” syndrome. Now, shopping at Publix with coupons, I average $30 a week for me, my husband, our toddler, and two dogs – plus we have an abundance of “fun” things like yogurt, icecream, juice, etc. that I could never afford before or wouldn't pay outrageous prices for. I have two more mouths to feed, but I pay less, and get twice as many groceries shopping at Publix with coupons. Thank you so much Jenny for your site and making it easy to coupon!

          • Oh you brought up a great point. All of the fun things are back in my budget!!! I even had so much leftover grocery money this summer that I bought tons of strawberries, peaches, blueberries, raspberries and bananas and cut them up and froze them for the winter. Now if I want a peach cobbler in December I'll have everything I need! I probably have 30 lbs of fruit in my freezer.

          • Jessie

            Oh, yeah….I didn't mention that $35 a week includes diapers….

          • Jen

I try to avoid Wal-Mart like the plague. I was accused of giving the cashier “photo-copies” for coupons. I have NEVER done this and should have asked for the store manager. I just left all the stuff at the register and walked out. I only go when I am desperate. One Wal-Mart in the area told me they would no longer accept Internet coupons.

        • Anonymous

LOVE your description of Wal-Mart! I completly agree! We have 5 here and they are building another one. I H-A-T-E them. I do not set foot in them. They are not cheaper and I have turned several WM grocery shoppers to my way of thinking. I do not go there for ANY reason! okay, enough of that. I also agree with your post. This is a job, Jenny is like our personal assistant making our lives easier. She is a wonderful woman and a godsend! I feed 5-6 people (depending on if son is visiting from college and/or step-daughter) for at most 200.00 a month. This includes three meals a day for all of us, because everyone packs a lunch. Mostly it is from the savings at Publix. Last week, I bought 54.00 (didn’t need much) for 5.00. 5.00 on groceries for the week! Week before I didn’t shop at all! Half a month’s groceries for half a dozen people (oh! Sister-in-law, niece and two teenaged nephews visited for 3 days over Labor day holiday) for FIVE DOLLARS!

Hugs and Kisses to Jenny. I am mentally sending you a shoulder massage!

      • Jodielynn23

Yes, yes, yes!!! I always save AT LEAST 50% on my groceries at Publix and usually much more than that. I drive a half hour to get to Publix, but I would drive an hour if I had to. Try it for a couple of weeks, and then make a decision whether to keep it up or not. I absolutely love Publix. Actually, last week, I bought $70 worth or groceries and only spent $17.

      • Mcburkhalter78

YES!!! I Drive about 22 miles each way to go to my Publix. It is definitely worth it. Last week my grocery total before coupons was $191.00. I spent $54.00. I am feeding a house of 7 people so every little bit helps but the only place I shop is publix other than our local meat market.

      • Anonymous

Everywhere is SSSOOO much cheaper than Wal-Mart! I do think their meats are a bit expensive. This week they have pot roast for 2.99 and they are yummy. The cheapest boneless skinnless chicken breast is usually about 2.99lb. I shop at Kroger for most of my meats as they have Tyson Bnls Sknlss for 1.99 about every 3-4 weeks. Every week Publix has a large selection of BOGO items. This is where you save a ton! Also, ask your CS who their competitors are. I am lucky and my Publix seems to think that everystore is a comp. =+) No complaints here! It gives you more coupons to stack. They will accept a man coupon with a store or comp. coupon.

Since you are talking about two hours of gas and time, the ultimate answer is with you. Do you buy a lot of groceries for a big family? Do you have other things in that area that you could lump together with your trip? Will you save enough to make up the gas and about three hours of time?

    • Frugalfab80

Has anyone used the Fresh Express coupon for the salad? The coupon says sttrictly for the Artisnal Salads, which are not the ones on sale. I didn't want to get a couple only to be turned away!

      • Jodielynn23

I did it a couple of weeks ago and had no problems.

      • Hasfam

I had the artisnal Q's too and hestitated for a month, then said what the heck I'll try it and they went right thru with no problems.

      • Beth

I used that Q a couple weeks ago for different salad items without a problem

      • Lmpate

I used it a couple of weeks ago. The cashier did tell me that it has to be the exact item on the coupon, but that she would take it this time.

    • Jodielynn23

Does anyone know about the Georgia Toss for Cash booklet at Publix? Is it a new one or really old? I saw it mentioned but didn't know anything about it. Do you know if you can still get the Save Big, Dream Big booklet? I keep seeing coupons posted for it, and I don't have it. :(

      • LeAnn Leon

The Toss for Cash booklet came out last week..just ask customer service for it! The other book I have no idea about!

      • millie

all the coupons expire on 9/15. hth

        • millie

sorry, the save big dream big booklet coupons expire on 11/30

    • Mcburkhalter78

I tried using the $2.00 Lowes coupon for my Filtrete filter and Publix told me that Lowes is not a competitor coupon that they take.

      • macboy

They only take grocery store coupons. Some have been successful with drug store coupons, but that hasn't been true for me. I even asked about Family Dollar, and they said “no.” The real world definition of competition is “anyone who sells the same product as you,” but if Publix took that literally, they would be in trouble. They are losing money when they take competitors' coupons.

    • Coupacoupon1

My Idahoan coupon definitely did not print – instead it printed the webpage and the survey overlapping – and when I tried to re-print – it told me I had already printed. Argggh!

      • Jen

        I found a 3/$1 coupon on Target.com today.

    • Hasfam

No Barilla coupons in my SS 8/29 or any other insert I have. Oh well, still have enough Ragu and someother pasta sauce. The price was right on the Barilla and it would have been nice to get a few, but no biggie.

Not a good week at Publix. Mostly junk food stuff. Not much shopping being done this week anywhere.

      • Bryarsmom

        I'd rethink 'anywhere' comment.

CVS is looking mighty good-some MM's ripe for the pickin'! :)

    • Heidi

Are the Perdue chicken nuggets the refrigerated variety or the frozen?

      • Svetlana

    • Svetlana

Publix in Deltona FL has DOLE salad blends BOGO

      • Lorinbob

Publix in South Florida also had Dole only. I used to get excited about BOGO deals, but without a coupon, I almost felt bad buying them! All I had with me was the $1 Fresh Express coupon (in anticipation of the $2 sale), but it was still cheaper to do the Dole BOGO without a coupon than the Fresh Express with the $1 off coupon!

    • Jenn

My store had a display of the Carbona Carpet Cleaner and each bottle had a $1.00 coupon around it! Check your store too!

    • Sunchic27

The Huggies deal is even sweeter! There is a $5 off coupon in Gerber/Kimberly Clark book with the baby on the front, use that with the $3 off AND in the For all the family favorites there is a FREE WIPES with purchase of any huggies box! They are on sale for $19.99 a box with the coupons makes it $11.99 PLUS FREE WIPES!! Great deal!

      • Jessie

Where did you get the Gerber/Kimberly Clark booklet?

        • B Brown04

They are usually at the customer service desk.

    • Avalentine

last week at my publix by me said that they could no longer take my target coupons. they said how that it had just come from corporate, but the next day my friend went to the publix on the other side of town from me and they took her target coupons. she said how she even called ahead of time and they said yes. is this supposed to happen at all publix or maybe a regional thing?

      • Nathan

My Publix does not take Target coupons either because they said that Target is not a direct competitor. If I were to drive to the Publix that is close to Target they would accept my coupons. Hope that help.

        • Jamie

My publix, Prattville AL, has quit taking all competitor coupons other than Winn Dixie. That includes Target and its located across the street from Publix. I guess it's just the stores decision.

          • mrsmadayar

I just asked them at customer service today about which ones they will take and it's not all Target coupons they're refusing, it's just some of them. It's kind of tricky now figuring out what they'll take and it melts my brain a little. They will take all WD coupons b/c they are their major competitor in this area. All target & drug store coupons are subject to certain types of wording on the coupons. The best I understand is that if the coupon says “Use in this store only” they don't take it. That does cut out a lot of the Target & Drug Store coupons (most of the good ones) but not all of them.

          • Chris

The Target in Prattville is not a SuperTarget just regular prototype. SuperTargets are considered grocery competition since they have Bakery, Deli, Meat, Produce, etc.

      • Val

Mine were accepted a Publix today. Publix managers decide what stores are considered competitors.

    • Jawr1

      thank you-very helpful

    • Pam

A lot of the Gatorade bottles have a coupon on them that says buy 10 get 5 free.

    • Summerrose78

I am really confused about the Smart Source coupons. They are all for prior dates. I don't have access to them. How do I get these coupons? When I go to Smart Source they are all different coupons.

      • If you are talking about the “SS 7/11, etc” in the ad listing, that means that the coupon was in the SmartSource insert on July 11. You have to have the coupons from prior weeks.

        • Val

What Suemh said, and the inserts are in the Sunday newspapers.

      • You can order coupons from previous weeks from a clipping service, such as couponsandthingsbydede.com They sell rather cheaply.

      • macboy

You may be able to purchase older inserts or eBay or on a coupon clipping service.

      • itismedia

If you are just getting started you are not going to have all the inserts. It is going to take about a month for you to have about 90% of the coupons Jenny is listing. Be patient, it will happen. In the meantime you can order any coupons you really need from an online source. Many coupons also have printable versions. Hope this helps.

    • Candyk

We don't read the paper (we read all of our news online). What is the best/cheapest way to get the inserts? TIA!!

      • Some people buy the coupons they need from the clipping services. You can buy just what you want/need or whole inserts. Most of them require a 3.00 minimum purchase. They are also usually available on ebay. But you may find it cheaper just to buy a couple of papers each week. Some of them have special bundle deals. Also, many Walgreens sell the Sunday paper for 88¢.

      • Marina115

We don't read the newspaper either, so I just buy the sunday paper. We usually have people selling them for a dollar on the street. In my opinion that's really cheap for at least 2 inserts per paper. That's cheaper than ordering inserts online.

        • Bryarsmom

We do too! I uduall get 8-10 each Saturday for a buck a piece! Pays you back the first $1. Q you use!

Plus, we get a paper with inserts thrown on our driveway every Thurs. Our neighbors give us theirs :)

      • Millerjam109

This website has links to many(if not all) to store wesites/ weekly ads. Another good website is spoofee.com

      • you can buy whole inserts from clipping sites such as couponsandthingsbydede

      • Anonymous

wholecouponinserts.com has been my best option lately. they seem to get their coupons in stock way faster than anyone else I’ve ever bought from. they actually get them a little before sunday. last week I ordered early saturday morning and had them by monday.

      • itismedia

I only order the Sunday paper. Here the paper is 1.75. I have two delivered and only pay 10.00 a month. Check for a deal with your local paper. Also if you are within 50 miles (last I checked that was what they were down to) you can get the Atlanta paper. They use to have it here (Savannah), but when they cut their delivery area we lost out. Just be sure you recycle!!!!! Most schools have special trashcans for newspapers.

    • Ronnilori

Can you use the Toaster Strudels coupons on the Scrambles? Are they the same except a different filling? We've never tried them.

      • Michellelhs

I have used the toaster strudle coupons for the toaster scrambles in the past and hope I can this time too. They are the same thing just egg and meat instead of fruit. We prefer savory at breakfast so the toaster scrambles are a perfect breakfast for mornings when we are scrambling to get out the door.

        • Glosmommy

The scramblers were not BOGO at my store.

      • Elizabeth

No you can''t. They're not the same product. That would be like using a coupon for Sprite on Coke, same company and they're both soda, but they are not the same product.

      • itismedia

Yes you can. It says ANY toaster strudel. They are still the same product, but the name tells the difference in filling. I had a manager tell me it was okay. I was also told that the register would not allow it to be scanned if I did not have a matching item. It works everytime.

    • Kaomatthew

so wish my Publix doubled coupons!

    • Liz

On the Kraft Cheese can you use both the $1/2 and $5.00 on 5? Basically buy ten and save $15.00.

      • Amy B.

Nope, they are both manufacturer coupons so you have to choose one or the other.

    • millie

I would like to ask (to those that this would apply) if you are NOT going to buy an item DO NOT take the peelie off, that's just rude! I was at Publix yesterday and someone had taken most all the peelies off of the glade sprays, i did find two cans that still had them.

      • TaraC

I saw that someone had taked the coupons off every single one of the YoPlus yogurts last week in my publix. The coupons expired too soon for them to even use that many in that amount of time. It's just greedy and rude.

        • Teedlesp73

I think when people take them off a product they are not buying that is the same as stealing. I bought a bunch that had coupons on them, but I had coupons so I saved my attached coupons for later. The attached coupons had an expiration date of 6/17/2012.

      • Shelley Beaches

It's not too bright either. I saw where a bunch of 15 cent off peelies were missing from something I was buying … and I had $1 off coupons! It will come back to them, they won't get the deals if they are greedy about it.

      • itismedia

This happened to me a few months ago (and I ranted on here too) at Target. They had softsoap refills on clearance with coupons attached. It made the refills .99 I bought four, but was BEING NICE and left some for someone else. I went back 2 days later to see if any were left and if so to get a couple more. There were tons left, someone had pulled all the stickers off them all. This is extremely poor coupon etiquette.

I do not complain about the people that clear the shelves, even though I have a big family and can't bring myself to do it myself. I save it all up for the people that steal! That is exactly what you are doing! Each of those coupons are worth their face value plus .08. YOU ARE STEALING you swipe all the coupons off products and leave behind shiny squares so everyone knows they were robbed and YOU ARE STEALING when you take every single coupon booklet or the whole tearpad.

There are either a bunch of adults that never learned to share as children or were never taught to care about anyone, but themselves. Its kind of scary. It happens so often there is no way we each only have one person in our area doing it.

I hope everyone that are does it reads this and feel ashamed of themselves. My 12 year old knows better. Heck, even my dog knows if its not his to “leave it”.

Climbing back off my soapbox! =+)

        • In the case of my Target, the manager probably was the one that pulled the peelies. He cannot stand people who use coupons, and he would do things like that.

          • Anonymous

You have GOT to be kidding! That is crazy. Does he not realize that coupons make his store money. They not only attract customers, but each coupon makes the store .08 cents. Wow! I guess it takes all kinds!

    • Candi G

My Pubix woud not accept the Lowes coupon for the air filters-FYI

      • kaseyshadow

See if your lowes will price match. I had them price match with target.

      • macboy

Lowes does Price Match. I remember reading a sign there when returning an item. However, make sure they don't have the same policy as Target when using a price match with a store coupon.

At Target, the price at the competitor has to be lower than the Target price WITH the store coupon. If you read your Target receipts after using a store coupon, notice that the coupon changes the price of the product instead of taking the price off at the end of the transaction. So, if you see $5 shampoo at Target, but Walgreens has it for $4, but you have a $1.50 off Target coupon, then Target will say that it has the lower price. Target will not match Wags' $4 and then take $1.50 more off for the store coupon.

Does anyone know the cost on the AIR WICK Freshmatic Compact i-motion Stater Kit at Publix? I have a store coupon from Publix for $3/1 & a manufacture coupon for $4/1, so that's $7 off & I'm wondering if it's worth using my manufacture coupon on.

      • Lmpate

My publix had them on sale for 4.99. I had a manf q for $4 off then a publix coupon for $1 off. So I got it for free.

        • Beth Anne

          Me too!

      • Laura

I didn't realize some of my $4 manuf coupons were for the compact size and some were for the full size.

I haven't been to price them at the store yet, but the full size is in the Publix yellow advantage flyer (8/28 thru 9/17) for $6.49.

I haven't seen a $3 Publix coupon, is it only for the compact size?

    • Jenny Gluck

I am new to the coupon world and I am so excited to get started! Is there someone out there who would possibly be interested in buying sunday papers for me and mailing me the inserts? I live in the panhandle of Florida. I need to get them from somewhere else so I don’t get the same inserts. I would be more than happy to do the same for someone else each week. Thanks a lot! Please email me at jennygluck@hotmail.com if you are interested. Please put Weekly Coupon Newspaper Insert into the subject line so I know that it isn’t spam.
      Thank you!
      – Jenny Gluck

      • I would advise you to check out the clipping services or Ebay. You can buy clipped coupons or whole inserts. I like coupondede (dot) com. You can actually compare the inserts that you have to the ones that they list before you buy, to make certain you're not getting the same thing..

    • Lucy2778

On coupons dot com, there is also a $1.50/2 General Mills cereals coupon, use it for the cereals and get each for $1.25 :)

    • Laddantha

Would anyone have any insight on how coupons get doubled? I made my weekly run today, and when I looked at my receipt I noticed that a few of my coupons were not doubled – it read “Bonus Coupon Suppressed” instead. Specifically, it was the printable coupon for the Betty Crocker cookie mix and the 50 cents off coupon for two toaster strudels. Both were printable, so I'm wondering if maybe there was something on the coupon that kept them from doubling? Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

      • Valerie

I can't answer your question, but I kindof wanted to piggyback on it with tons of questions.

When coupons are doubled does anyone know if the store is reimbursed for that?

I would assume so, otherwise why do some coupons say Do not Double or Triple (which is maybe why yours weren't Laddantha), but at the same time if they are reimbursed then why doesn't every store double? Instead of doubling why don't they just make the coupon for .70 cents off instead of .35?!

If they aren't reimbursed then why does the manufacturer care if a coupon is doubled or tripled? It's all very confusing!!!!!

        • marathonmom

The store is not reimbursed for the double. The store considers that a “lost leader” to get you into the store. I have no idea why mfg. coupons put that on there. Maybe allowing one to be doubled means more are redeemed.

          • At some point, a long while ago, manufacturers paid for the doubling of coupons. they no longer do and the store absorbs that loss.

          • Guest

Some will pay for it :) it depend on the brand used to work in coupons.

        • Rfcrowe

When a coupon doubles the store pays for the doubled amount.

      • B Brown04

If that coupon said do not double, that may have been the problem. Sometimes the cashiers will not allow the coupon to double if it says that. There is a button on the register that they can push that will not allow the coupon to double. I would remember that cashier and not go through her check out line again. They are supposed to let the register decide if the coupon doubles.

      • Lee

I had heard of this before, but only had it happen to me for the first time this wk. The cashier has to key something in to manually stop the computer from doubling the coupon. I saw when she did that on mine and I asked her about it. She insisted that coupon couldn't double. I was polite and asked her to call over the store mgr. He immediately told her that she should not do that and the coupon should double. There are coupons that have the wording printed “do not double” but up to 50 cents Publix scanners automatically double manufacturer coupons (not store coupons). Hope that helps.

      • Guest

It happened to me last week for the first time, at the Publix on Trolley Road in Summerville. I questioned the cashier and she said that was the policy. I didn't quite believe her because I've seen them double before. The bag boy called the manager over. He said that they do suppress coupons that say do not double. I am going to check other stores in my area and give my business to the one that doesn't suppress!

        • MarySC1000

My clerk at Trolley yesterday told me they were supposed to suppress these… I told her it had never happened to me ever before (I didn't have any “do not doubles” on this trip, we were just talking).

        • Mlsshartz

Good to know. I shop at the Publix in Knightsville on Central. I'm going Tuesday morning so I will pay attention to see if they double the cookie coupons. I was actually thinking of going to the one on Trolley because it's bigger. So we will see.

        • Rachel

Just a head's up, the Publix on Dorchester & Ashley Phosphate does not double the coupons that specifically say do not double or triple, but they do take a store q, manu q, & comp q on each item & you don't need the q from out of the paper to get the penny item or the ones from out of the ad to get the “in-ad deal”. Depending on what qs I have is whether or not I go there or to Trolley. And for the Trolley store, I have only had them not double those qs a couple of different times. I guess it just depends on the cashier, even if they all are suppose to do it.

      • itismedia

Did they say “do not double”? Unfortunately each Publix manager, sort of, gets to make up their own rules. The cashier actually has to hit a button to keep the coupon from doubling. I have always wondered why some manufacturers do this. They don't pay for the double, just the face value of the coupon and .08. If you have another Publix in your area you might ask them what their coupon policy is.

      • crystalfawn

We live in Florida “land of no doubling”! Maybe you are further south than you thought :-) LOL

      • Beth Anne

Those Betty Crocker coupons say Do Not Double or Triple. :( That is why they were suppressed.

    • K Hanks07

Rite Aid has a VV Q for $1/2 General Mills Cereal- Cheerios is pictured, but it says “General Mills Big G Cereals” so I'm hoping it will work on the B1G1?

    • nthomas

Can anyone tell me how to get the $1 off coupon for the Kettle Potatoe chips. I have been on their website and can't find it. Thanks!

      • colleen

        me either!

    • Lee

So I tried to use the Thermacare Publix Q and manuf Q. Just bought 1 Thermacare and was told by cust svc had to buy 2 Thermacare to use the Publix Q. Was I reading the Q wrong? I get that you have to buy 2 Advil, but wording made it seem like you only had to buy 1 Thermacare (2 ct+).

      • TaraC

Whoever told you that was reading the coupon wrong. I have done that deal about 5 times only purchasing one Thermacare package. The coupon reads '2 Advil or ANY Thermacare.'

        • Lee

Thanks! That's how I read it too. Actually sent an email to Publix corp for clarification late yesterday so am interested to hear what they say.

      • Beth Anne

You were told wrong. I asked at Customer Service before I bought mine. Hope you can get that fixed!

    • Amy J

When I look for the source (RM, SS, P&G) I can't find the items that Jenny has listed. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? My printer is currently not working.

      • macboy

RP, SS, and P&G are referring to NEWSPAPER inserts. Those companies have websites, but most of the coupons are going to be in the Sunday paper. Coupon values or them showing up at all in the paper will depend on your area.

      • itismedia

        They stand for

        RP – Red Plum

        SS – Smart Source

        P&G – Proctor and Gamble

These are various coupon inserts that come in the Sunday paper. If you do not get the Sunday paper I urge you to. This is where the bulk of your coupons will come from. If Jenny list something like RP 8/08 this means it was in the Red Plum Coupon insert of the August 8th paper. Some people keep the whole insert and just clip as they need them. I clip everything and file it, because I trade coupons with a couple of friends. It helps the ones that keep the insert.

If it is a printable coupon “printable” is clickable and it will take you to the site that has the coupon.

Jenny also has a data base that it updated pretty much every Wednesday. People in different areas check their coupon inserts and post what is the same and different than what Jenny has. This is because even though we get the same inserts the coupons in them may vary by area. The bigger the paper the more coupons.

If you do not get a coupon that you really need you can order it from a reputable coupon clipping service or from ebay. They should only charge you a clipping fee (usually 5-25 cents) and sometimes shipping. They should never charge you for the coupon itself. You want to make sure you are getting actual newspaper coupons and not photocopies or prinatables.

I hope this helps some. If I gave more than you wanted to know, sorry! =+)

    • This has absolutely nothing to do with the sales, but my Publix sells individual organic green bell peppers that are so good that I have had to go back for more twice this week because they don't make it in to my intended recipes. I keep getting caught standing in the kitchen eating them like they were apples!!

    • Kathymsalon

febreeze candles are on sale for 2 for $5, so you can use 3 $2 off, use the free roll of bounty paper towels (publix coupon) when you buy any 3 participating items (which include febreeze) and then use 25 cents off bounty coupon (manufacturer) and get all four items for $1!!

      • Kim Schwartz

where is the 3 $2 off coupon?

        • Tarlee

I think she is referring to the $2.00 off (1) Febreeze candle in the 8/29 P&G ….I think she is saying use three of them.

          • Armywife74

if you have the put clean in your cart you can also use the 0.75 off any febreeze product publix coupon with this deal

      • Rjcj10

Where did you find the Publix Q for the bounty?

      • Kcrewfive

Where did yu find the free roll of bounty towels when you buy 3 participating items Q? Thx. :D Also what size if the free towles?

      • Cecummings

If the Bounty is free, I don't think you can (or should) be able to use a coupon on it. Or can you?

        • AshleyQ

She is stacking a MQ with a SQ and they are reimbursed for the MQ, so to answer your question, yes you can use them. It is up to you if you think you “should” combine them. Do what you feel is comfortable to you.

    • elizabeth

Jenny–I am the one who lamented the lack of 1.99 chicken a week or so ago…you mentioned that this week's sale price of 2.99 is about as low as Publix goes. Do you think they will ever do the 1.99 sale price again, or should I go ahead and stock up at the 2.99 price? (and before anyone else tells me it's cheaper at other stores, thanks, but I'm a publix snob when it comes to chicken!) :)

      • macboy

It's a RARITY for Publix to price their meat as low as Winn-Dixie or Albertsons. When they actually have ground beef for $1.99/lb, chicken thighs, $0.99/lbs, etc., you better buy a TON of it because it will be MONTHS before it happens again.

      • itismedia

I buy most everything at Publix, but they are expensive when it comes to meats. I do love their pot roast though! =+) I usually get my meats at Kroger. If you have one near you they have bone in chicken breast for .99 a pd this week and run the boneless skinless for 1.99 pretty regularly (about every three weeks). It is Tyson when it is on sale and not store brand. I know you said you were a chicken snob, but it is name brand so I thought I would throw it out there. 2.99 is the best price I get at Publix. ONCE they had it for 1,99 and I about fell over! =+)

        • elizabeth

Thanks! yeah, usually publix runs the 1.99 sale about four time a year, I buy enough to last us that long, bag it up 2/bag and keep our freezer stocked. I may try the tyson, I don't mean to sound snobby but I've always had bad luck with other store brands of chicken, being slimy or weird in color. :) I mean, if I am going to eat it for four months, it better be good!

          • itismedia

Oh I completely understand. I am a brand snob on a couple of things. I try to be open to various brands and for the most part I am, but there are those 2 or 3 things I have to have my favorite brand of! =+)

      • melissa

I have never seen it $1.99 before, personally. But I usually stock up when food lion puts out their $ off meat coupons :) been a while though.

      • Guest

so buy at Publix haha. they won't go cheaper as its not the season for that.

      • NSBsaver

I live in a tourist-y area. At my publix chicken is NEVER on sale. One of my girlfriends lives a couple miles away and she always lets me know when it's on sale at her publix, then I stock up!

Just curious… Has anyone noticed the “Sale” chicken not being trimmed as well as the regular price chicken???

    • Spiritofjoy05

I am not understanding the little letter in front of the items listed above. Is something wrong with the layout? I cannot see what the coupon is labeled for.

      • Guest

        “M” denotes it's a manufacturer's coupon

        “S” denotes it's a store coupon

    • Sweetse

I can't find the Barilla pasta sauce coupon in the 8/29 SS. Can someone confirm that or help me please !!! Thank you…..

      • itismedia

Coupons vary by region. Check Jenny's list under Sunday Ad Inserts, see if your paper has someone listing variations. They are usually posted by Wednesday every week.

    • We found a new coupon book at our Publix today called “Better at Home.” There are great q's in it. One that I used today was $1 off one box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. When combined with BOGO & with manu Q, this made it 2 boxes for .99. The booklet also has a $1 off Q for Pillsbury Sweet Moments which would make these .50 when combined with manu. Q.

Well, just realized that these are actually manufacturer coupons but they combined them. ooops.

      • alyw

those are manu q's how are you combining the sweet moments? just curious.

        • Didn't realize they were manu q's when we shopped. They accepted them as store q's.

    • Vtmegan

Has anyone else nociced coupons.com overriding the B&W setting on you printer? My printer says it is set up to only use the black ink cartridge, yet every coupons.com coupon prints in color. It is so irritating!

      • Yes! My guess was that it does it to make sure the stores can tell that it's not a copy.

    • MP

where's the 1.00 off kettle chips coupon I can't find it??

    • Ptogroup

If you printed the Nabisco coupon from Facebook this month. You can get the Nabisco Snak-Sacs, 8 oz bag, which is B1G1 free at $2.39 or ($1.19 each), BOTH FREE when you purchase one gallon of milk. I was doing the happy FREE cookie dance at Publix today!

    • Ptogroup

Publix has the Kraft Deli Deluxe Cheese on sale for 2 for $5.00.

If you stack this $5 off any 5 Kraft cheese coupon with the $1.00 off 1 Kraft Deli Deluxe Publix Store coupon, offered at the Kraft Site just go to printables and look for the Kraft site tab, you will take home five packages of Kraft cheese for $2.50. Cheap cheese makes me HAPPY!!

      • Beth Anne

I have a $1 off Produce when you buy Kraft Deli Deluxe, and I thought that would be a great deal, but this is even BETTER. Where can I find this coupon?

    • Laura

Don't know if it was just my cashier, or how they're all going to do it now but I had the oddest check out experience today.

Had all my items on the conveyor belt & handed over my coupons first. She says o.k. $2 off Stouffer lasagna, hand me your lasagna, then she scanned it, then scanned the coupon. Then she says o.k. $4 off L'oreal, hand me your L'oreal, then she scanned it, then scanned the coupon. Then she says o.k. $1 off Garnier, hand me your Garnier etc. I had 15 coupons and she did this on every one of them.

She scanned each item, then each coupon. In a way I liked it because I knew each coupon went through & nothing was missed. On the other hand it took an awfully long time to check out as opposed to the usual way of scanning all items quickly then scanning all coupons after.

      • melissa

Some cashiers are just wierd like this…but this has never happened at Pub! My kroger ladies do this!

      • shirley

I don't think that I would like that, I usually have a $5.00 off of $50.00 from Albertson's and they would give me a hassle about using it if the total went below the 50 after they swiped the coupon's, which I usually am way below the 50 after coupon's.

        • rose

yes, this has happened to me twice and they told me after the coupons that I had not spent enough. I had to buy a tide detergent on sale to meet the $50, not a happy camper to say the least. I will never do that again! :(

      • itismedia

I have a cashier (I actually like her) that does something similar. I load everything onto the belt and then as she rings up an item she has me hand over the coupons. She doesn't scan them then, but puts them in a pile. At the end she scans all the coupons so if I have a $$ of coupon, like the poster below my total is right, then she scans all the coupons. Its nice for her because she can check the coupons right then. She also knows how many of each coupon I have (i.e. 5 kellogs cereal coupons) and is really careful to scan them all. It gives me a chance if I accidently left out a coupon to grab it (I start out with a pile when I get there and move them over to another pile when I put the item in my cart). She really doesn't take any longer than other cashiers.

      • AshleyQ

I use to go to a cashier that did this, now I just go to a completely different Publix (that are generally nicer!) and thought it was odd but went along with it. I then read on a blog about a lady that dosen't want to give her coupons up front, it is like our money, they wouldn't ask for other forms of payment up front!!! Since they MAKE $.08 for each coupon that we give, Publix is better off than paying the 3% (on average) they have to pay when we use a credit card. She would even give the coupons to the cashier a few at a time to make sure they all got scanned correctly. I have not gone this far, but if it became an issue I would.

      • Beth Anne

Not a fan of this method and I would not hand over my coupons before. I keep them in my wallet and hand them over as form of payment at the end. Just my pref.

    • Mamalc9949

The lindsey olives in my publix were $2.69!!!

    • Mccrited

In the smart source for 9/12 insert, there is Publix coupons you can stack. There is one for Kraft deluxe cheese for $1 that you can use with Kraft $5 off.

    • JoAnnBK

I have been debating for days about this deal, not only for myself but since I am also a cashier at Pubix, I have to decide what to do if someone presents this q for this rice.

Uncle Ben’s Original Converted Rice, Long Grain 5 lb bag, at $6.99 ($3.49)
Manufacturer Coupon -$1 off Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain Rice products, RP 8/15

My issue is that converted long grain rice is not whole grain rice. Technically, this q does not apply so I have not used it yet for my own shopping. What are the opinions of others? Should I use it and should I accept it?

      Thanks, JoAnn

      • happymom

Can't speak for other people… but if the q is not for the product specified, I personally would not use it. And if a cashier pointed out my mistake to me I would not mind at all. :)

      • itismedia

I wouldn't think it was the same. Long grain and whole grain are two different things in two completely different types of packaging.

      • JoAnnBK

Thanks for your replies and I feel like both of you do but the coupon sites keep listing this MQ in reference to this sale. I suppose a cashier totally in the dark about rice, might confuse the two and accept this coupon. I'm not going to use it and try and pull a fast one on a cashier who may not know the difference and I am not going to accept it if presented to me at the register.

Thanks again for expressing your opinions!

    • Tigress1321

My publix had Gold fish crackers for $1!!!! I also had a coupon from when I bought them from Krogers sale a little while back.

    • cb

Here is my sunday afternoon thought question: When stores run B1G1 free items and I use a B1G1 coupon Should I expect to get both items free with 1 B1G1 coupon ( Note : products are on sale B1G1) If no store sale of B1G1 I think I would need 2 B1G1 coupons. I used this situation because cashiers are entering the !/2 price value example excedrin is on sale B1G1 for 6.99 If I had a b1g1 coupon the register rings each up at 3.49 and she enters 3.49 on the coupon I have a balance of 3.49 plus tax. Maybe one of the experts can make better sense of it. I just thought store sale b1g1 plus a b1g1 coupon equals free items and I had to use 2 b1g1 coupons with no store sale to get two free.

      • When Publix has an item B1G1, it is not a true B1G1, unless you are in Florida. Other areas, the items ring up half-price, so it is actually a half-price sale. So when you use a B1G1 coupon, since each item rings up half-price, they can only credit you half-price. If you lived in Florida and used a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale, you would get both free. This is because one of them rings up full-price and the other one rings up 0. Just as, if you are shopping at CVS or Rite Aid, then you could use your B1G1 coupons on a B1G1 sale to get 2 free because they have true B1G1 sales. You can never use 2 B1G1 coupons to get 2 free if you are only buying 2. You have to pay for one in order to get one free.

I know this seems confusing, but it all depends on hoe it rings up. If it rings up half-price, you get half-price off. If it rings up full-price (and the other 0), you get full-price off.

    • Alison V.

if you do the Oscar Meyer zip pack deal with the $1 off 2 and the $1 off publix bread, go to the target q's and get the .50 off market pantry bread. this is their store brand and (at least our) publix will let you use competitor store brand q's for publix store brand. i don't know how much publix bread costs, but i bet that will make it free or close to it!

    • Jengal

The Bailey's coffee creamer coupon has expired….

      • AshleyQ

Some blinkies don't expire until 10/31.

      • Mum2grlz

Check with your store too. My Publix accepts expired coupons up to one week.

    • Lisa

whats the save big dream big booklet?

    • Kdougherty3

There are $1.50 off coupons for the TGI product size that are currently on sale in the Publix booklets (save up to $24…..) found in stores. These coupons make the items completely free. The coupons are good until 9/30/10.

      • Guest

        which book?

        • Wendysurfmom

florida toss for cash has the tgi fridays q's…beware of the ounces

    • Beth Anne

Can someone tell me if this is a good deal or if I should wait? My Publix has 2 liter Cokes for B2G1 (2 for $3– so, 3 for $3 on sale). I have a coupon for $1 off of four 2 liters. So, buy 4 and get one for free and $1 off the total. They will be 88¢ each. Is this a good price for 2 liter cokes? It seems like it to me. But maybe it is is not rock bottom?

      • itismedia

That actually isn't a bad price. Its about the price of store brand. A lot better than the 1.50 each.

      • millie

Does anyone know of a Publix in Alpharetta, GA that accepts Rite Aid coupons? I'd love to know.

      • Guest

The Publix on HWY 9 in Cumming takes them.

    • millie

ATTENTION! i just got back from publix. i had seen on another blog that the febreeze candles are on sale, so i went to do a deal and they were. there is no sign anywhere to indicate they are on sale, the febreze candles. i live in prattville, alabama and like i said there is no sign to indicte these are on sale but they are for $2.50 each, (reg 6.99) so i got three candles, i had 3 $2 off 1 coupon for febreze candles from the p&g 8/29 and i had a free bounty paper towel coupon from the clean in your cart booket, then there is a 75 cents off coupon in the same booklet, so i got three candles and a roll of paper towel for 75 cents before tax! check your store! i also got a cover girl eye shadow used the $1 off any cover girl product from the 8/29 p&g and the $1.50 off publix green flyer coupon and paid $2.30 for everything (that is with tax). hope this helps someone.

      • Tigress1321

I saw the same thing and rushed out to my publix. I got 4 candles and a roll of paper towels for .50 I had 4 $2 off coupons and 2 of the .75 cent coupons. and it is NOT only the Hawaiian aloha candle that is on sale it is all of them. I didn't know that till it was too late. oh well still awesome.

        • millie

yes all the scents are on sale, i took several different ones when i went to ask them to price check for me.

      • Cara

I did this deal as well but I had .75 overage, had to get a pack of candy. Total after tax was .61. All of the scents were included but there were no sale tags up. This was in Greenville, SC. Also my publix has the 23 load Downy for $3.19, use $1.50 manf q with the $1 store q. Makes a great deal!

      • Traci

I did not even try this deal although I was prepared to–the Febreeze candles were not listed in the flyer as a sales items and there was nothing on the shelf to indicate they were on sale … I won't buy them unless I can do the deal. So, there was nothing to indicate to you that they were on sale? If so, I gotta get back to my store.

      • Lorinbob

So the actual candles are on sale too, not just the plastic thing that has liquid on the top that is on a cardboard backing? That was the only thing that was on sale for $2.50, and the coupons were taken for that. Had I known that the candles were on sale too, I would have purchased those instead! I think all my coupons are gone now :(
I wonder if they'll do an exchange for me, and I'll just exchange those things for the real candles!

      • Dawn

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I love the Febreze candles and when I saw your comment I jumped on this. Got 3 for 2.50..WOO HOO.

I have a question – I am normally a Kroger shopper, but am trying out Publix. I was wondering how much (in percent) do you guys normally save there on average? I know sometimes there are really good deals, but when you group that with your regular shopping with coupons how much do you typically save?

Just trying to decide if I'm doing good there or not….

      • millie

when i buy just the sale items and use my coupons i usually save at least 70-80%. example i went a few weeks back and got 109.00 reg price stuff for 32.00. it is hard to buy stuff not on sale if you do not have a coupon, like meat and stuff you might need for a recipe. i do have a winn-dixie right by my house so i usually buy meat there and just plan my menu around what is on sale, i find that i save so much that if i have to pick up a few things that aren't on sale or no coupons i still come out ahead because i have saved so much on eveything else. hope that helps..(sorry it was so long);)

        • ladybugbob1029

thanks to all of you that responded! i really appreciate it!

      • Marina115

Kroger typically has better sales on meat and produce but nothing beats Publix for the rest of my groceries. It's been a long time since I've seen Kroger have good deals (at least 50% off) on things like pasta, mayo, juices etc.. I save at least 60%-70% on my groceries. I think it would be higher but I choose to buy a lot of their greenwise organic products.

      • itismedia

I agree with Marina115 that Kroger has the better meat deals most of the time. Publix meats are awesome, but more expensive. This week they do have their pot roast on sale and its a pretty average price. That said, I buy 99% of my other groceries at Publix. I save 80-90% every week. If you combine the BOGO's with store/comp. coupons and man. coupons you can save some serious money! Last week my grocery bill was 54.00. I paid 4.00 and some change. Can't beat that!

      • Sandy

You will save so much more money at Publix. I stock up there and purchase my meats, milk (it's normally about $1 cheaper at Kroger), and things I have to get but don't have a coupon for at Kroger. I appreciate the 10 cent gas discount I get from using my card.

      GE Reveal Light Bulbs 4ct @ 49 cents/pack – use 2- $1.50 off Target and 1- $1/2 MQ.

    • Jenniferbrasher

Anybody else missing the Barilla coupon from SS 8/29?

      • lilchief27

        yes, I am too :(

      • itismedia

I am in Savannah and we missed out on a lot of great coupons this week. =+(

      • ladybugbob1029

I'm in Macon and we missed out too :-(

    • Meri Frady

I hope everyone snagged the FREE PAM at Publix. It is b1g1 which is $1.52 or $1.53 for the second one in Taylors, SC. If u use the 35 cent (doubles to 70 cents) SS from 8/29 and use the $1 publix coupon from the publix tailgating book, it is a money maker! YAY!

      • Jtorr14

Darn. I haven't seen the publix tailgating booklet.

    • Jenni

Don't have time to check if anyone else posted this, but the “Better At Home” coupon booklets out at some Bi-Lo Publix store have $1 coupons off of Cinnamon Toast Crunch which is half price – makes it $1 a box!

    • itismedia

I posted this on the Kroger comment section too:

Hey Savannah couponers!!! I have some news! I e-mailed the editor and asked her who we had to lobby/beg to get more coupons in our paper. For example we were almost 100 coupons short of what Jenny listed this week. She is going to get back with me with contact information for the various advertisers. I will post it when I get it. Maybe if we all lobby for them, we will get all the great coupons that so many other areas are getting!!!!!

      • Emilydianne808

that's awesome i live in Beaufort and i get the Savannah paper because our paper stinks! thanks :)

    • Lorinbob

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else (haven't read the posts in a day or so), but I tried to stack the Air Wick $4 MQ with the $3 SQ and my Publix would not take it. I didn't have any other groceries today as I had done my shopping over the weekend where I had purchased another one of these at a different publix using the coupons, with no issue at all.
The cashier told me that he could only take one coupon not both since he would owe me money and they don't give cash back. I said I didn't expect cash back, but it should just work out to an even exchange. He called a manager over, and she said the same thing. I even asked if I purchased a pack of gum and had to owe them money, would that be acceptable. She said no, and brought my attention to the bottom of the Publix coupon where it says “COUPONS CANNOT BE COMBINED”. Wouldn't that mean that two STORE coupons cannot be combined?
Needless to say I said I would call corporate and I walked out. At least I was able to find some of the “For All The Family Favorites” coupon flyers on my way out, which my closer Publix didn't have! I was so mad I wanted to take the entire pile of them! LOL!
Any thoughts? Was the manager wrong or right? Should I call or write to Corporate? I would love to get an answer in writing so I can show it to the manager (if she is wrong, which I'm assuming she is).

      • tarlee

I stacked both coupons with no problem. I had other stuff so my overage just went toward that.

        • Lorinbob

Yeah, I did that too at another Publix, but this Publix tried to tell me you cannot use the MQ and the SQ together at ALL, if it is more than the item cost, regardless if you have other items to purchase or not.
I know they are wrong, but would love to somehow get it in writing from corporate to show them.

          • Friedsnowman

The manager was right but she was right in the wrong way. Yes, you can use coupons that are over the purchase price of the item. That's no problem. The issue is that if any coupon says on it “Coupons cannot be combined” that means that the manufacturer has requested that the coupons be used alone. Basically because the manu. is going to reimburse Publix (all or in part) for the coupons tracked by the LU# and they don't want people to combine and in essence “double dip”, b/c they of course reimburse for the face value of all manu. coupons plus handling fee… they don't want to pay you to buy their products… it's just not good business :)

            • Friedsnowman

I forgot to mention that the Manufacturers know what coupons they have out in what areas/expiration dates, etc and that is why one time you'll see the coupon says “Not in conjunction w/any other coupon” and the next time it won't say that. But like I said before, that mgr was wrong in her reasoning.

            • Lorinbob

I understand what you're saying, I guess different mgr's treat each situation differently. I didn't have a problem stacking the MQ and the SQ for this same item at my regular store, and it seems as if many people are doing this deal (by looking at all the posts on the few sites I go to).
I guess I'll just stick to the store that's closer to my house, I never have a problem there!
              Thanks for replying :)

      • Friedsnowman

There is no coupon policy in writing. Every store manager has the right to enforce his/her policy at individual stores.

    • Nanabella

I am new to couponing and I just have a question about the BOGO sales at Publix. If an item is on sale one week for BOGO and I have a BOGO coupon will that make both items free? Any insite on this would be great! Thanks!!!
