Redbox has decided to make their Refer-A-Friend program permanent!

Whenever you refer a new customer to Redbox you will get a FREE rental. They have to click on the link and reserve the movie or game rental online for you to get the free credit. If they use a promo code, the credit will also not count.

Once your friend has reserved a movie online and completed the transaction you will get an e-mail letting you know a rental credit has been put in your account. Your online rental credit will be valid for 1o days after it is put in your account.

Go to Refer-A-Friend on Redbox to get your own special link to share.

Here's how RedBox makes money in our area (Stop & Shop in Newtown, CT): Rent a movie, go to return it the next day and find that the kiosk is out of service, call RedBox customer service immediately and be told by a very friendly person that you have three days to return it to a functioning kiosk without penalty. Return it three days later and see a $4.77 late fee on your credit card. Call to complain and be told by a hostile person that, because there is no proof that you called about the out-of-service kiosk, they can only refund half of the late fee.
