Restaurant.com 80% off Sale!

Want a way to save on dining out?

Use the code JOY to get 80% off at Restaurant.com through 12/12.

These are really coupons off a larger purchase (so you do still have to spend money in the restaurant), but they are a great way to save.

You’ll get:

$25 dining or gift certificates for $2

$10 dining or gift certificates for $0.60

Think of them as a $10 off a $15 lunch or $25 dollars off a $40 dinner. For us this makes for cheap lunches out with Daddy, or inexpensive dinner dates. Make sure to read what the requirements are for that restaurant before purchasing.

Do you do cashback?

Go through Ebates and get 15% cash back or use Shop-at-Home for 30% cash back.

cool! I got a restaurant.com $50 gc for $5 for my sis (an avid couponer) for Christmas!!

Is there a refer a friend bonus for shop at home? If so, I want to sign up today, but would like to give someone the bonus! If someone can post their link…

    • Katie

Has anyone ever used these? Do they send you an actual gift card?

      • Akissej15

No, you have to print these out, plus read the requirements before you purchase them. It's best to find the one that has the least requirements, that's when it's a good deal:)

      • Kbapatrick

You print them. You can personalize them, also. They make great presents

    • Benandkris10

This is great! I bought $60 worth of gift certificates for $6! I know I will have to spend some money, but I will roughly spend half of what I would have! Thanks for the tip!

Read the fine print!! Most of the resturants that pulled up in Montgomery, AL area require that you spend a certain amount and pay a certain gratuity before you can use the gift card! I was about to stock up on gift cards to my favorite Mexican resturant there and then I noticed you have to spend at least $50. That's A LOT of Mexican food!!

I totally forgot to use Ebates! I saw this posted on another site earlier today and they didn't mention Ebates…

I bought two Rest Certificates for Christmas Gifts for 2.00 each, I got them to specific Rest because the GC were coming up $3.00, Not $2.00.

The best deal is if you buy the Dinner of the Month club! Its $30 for three months of $25 Certificates, plus you can use the coupon code, so 6.00 for 75.00 worth, AND you get a $10 bonus certificate too!

I wish I had gotten the six month one though, because that one came with a $25 bonus certificate that would have been easier to spend!

Most of the Rest for me that were $25 were either spend $35 or $50. There are three of us, so its really not hard to spend $50 on dinner out. We'll probably use them at one of the local Rest that is a $35 purchase.

    • crunchymama

They are doing a feeditforward campaign right now. You can send $10 gift certificates via email to anyone (up to 40/day) for free

One of the gift cards I am looking at says $35 minimum purchase. Does that mean before the gift card or after? So if I spend $35 and then use the $25 gift card, do I only pay $10 out of pocket?

    • Aguffey27

I dont understand is the $35 minimum purchase before or after the certificate?

      • Sc00byd0obyd

Before the certificate and before tax. Your pre-certificate bill needs to be at least $35 not including the tax. Normally my husband and I will spend $35.00. We will usually get two meals and an appetizer- If that isn't enought we will order an extra appetizer or desert and then box it up to take home. Once you spend the $35.00 you can expect to pay about $3.00 in tax and then an additional $7 (rounded up for convenience) in gratuity for a total of approx $45.00. You will then receive $25.00 off. You can expect to pay roughly $20.00 for $35.00 in food. Hope this helps.

This is great, especially when you live in a big city! I just bought $300 worth of gift certificates for only $30.

    • Jamie L

These are great, even with the minimum purchase requirements. I am giving some of these to my daughter's teachers as Christmas gifts.
