Today only, 9/30, Restaurant.com is having a 90% off sale!  Use code WOW during checkout.

These are really coupons off a larger purchase (so you do still have to spend money in the restaurant), but they are a great way to save.  So for $1 you get $25 off a meal, you might need to spend $50 still but that’s still a great way to save!!

We grab the $10 off certificates to get a $15 lunch for $5 after the discount.  Make sure to read your certificate before purchasing so you know the requirements needed.

Do you do cashback?
Go  through ebates and get 15% cash back. If you have never used ebates before you will also get a $5 bonus for opening a new account. Here’s a little bit more on what ebates is.

I just purchased $140.00 in gc for $5.60. I love shopping at Restaurant.com!!!

    • Preg

That was crummy — it's only 9:11 a.m. and most of the places I would choose in charleston, SC are already sold out on this deal! :(

      • mogreen

I agree I was only able to find two restaurants

      • Dianne

They are probably only offering this great deal because it's the last day of the month. You have to get coupons early in the month for most places that are good.

      • Marina115

It's the end of the month, so most of the good restaurants are gone in the first couple weeks. They should reset in Oct.

    • Notlwonks

I was offered a free coupon from a selection of places when I placed my order. Chose $5 off at shutterfly (minimum purchase required)!

    • I just bought a $50 gift card for $2.50. Not sure how this all works yet, but its a great deal to pass up. There is only one restaurant around here that looks like they participate but I have been wanting to take my husband for a while now. The only restrictions I read for the restaurant is that there must be 2 entrees purchased, dinner meal only, and only valid on Sun – Thurs, with 20% gratuity added. Doesn't sound too hard to me if I can save $50 off my meal.

      • Guest

May also have to spend a certain amount make sure to check for that

      • Marina115

Most of the $50 gift certificates have a purchase requirement of $75-$100 before discount.

    • ireneY

Everyone and their brother is on the site right now… sloooooooow. There's still quite a few left for my area, but just choose carefully. If you're not familiar with a restaurant, check it at yelp first. Some places have since closed or stopped taking the certificates and some are just down right horrible places to visit (according to numerous reviews.)

    • Kristy

How long are they good for? Like if I was to buy them now can I give them as gifts for Xmas?

      • Bev

The gift certificate I printed said “no expiration”–don't know if they're all like that, since this is my first time buying one. It seems like if there would be an expiration though it would tell you in the fine print before you purchased it.

    • Acaldwellgovols

Can't get through on the website or by phone. Be ready for a long wait!

    • Vic

There was only one restaurant for my area, but it is one we love. I purchased 4 $25 certificates for $1 each. Mine has no expiration, but you can use only one per month. Great deal.

    • Bev

Wow, thanks! My hubby and I have a date night tonight, so I bought a $25 gift certificate for a new restaurant we've never tried before (it's upscale Modern Indian Cuisine that got a lot of good reviews!). Can't wait to try it out!

    • christy

you have a year to use them, if policy is still the same. good deal on some, but read restriction/guidelines carefully for EACH place:)

      • NCcouponer

They have changed the rules. They do NOT expire. But yes, it's very important to read the guidelines of each place… I still have some certificates left over from the last time they went 90% off. Some of the deals are not so great.

    • Acaldwellgovols

The webiste is not working at all and I've been on hold for over 50 minutes..you might just want to try later today.

    • Amy

I'm hoping someone can help me with my CVS question – I can't find it in the Learn to Coupon section. If I'm buying something that will give me ECB's for spending a certain dollar amount, do you have to get to that amount BEFORE coupons or does it have to be the total amount AFTER figuring in the coupons? Thanks!

      • Nicole

You can reach the amount before coupons. So if it has to be $10 then let them ring it up, then give them the coupons. The ECB will print when you pay for everything. Hope this helps,

        • Amy

          Great – thanks Nicole!

    • Christina

I had the 80% off code how do I change the code to WOW to get 90% off?

      • Marinka115

If you already purchased your certificates then obviously you can't change it now. If you haven't bought it yet, then you need to clear your “cart” and start your purchase all over again. It should let you enter a new code at checkout

    • Migo0215

      • Monica452

Before the certificate. Most add the 18% gratuity and I think that would be included in the total purchase. The last thing they do is take the gift card off. Hope that helps!

        • Migo0215

          Thank you.

      • RH

You should probably plan on spending $40 out of pocket minimum to use the $25 off $50 certificate. It is still a good deal because it would have cost $65, but you will definitely be spending more than $25, so keep that in mind. I have found that the restaurant expects the total to be $50 (or whatever the certificate says) before taxes and before the 18% automatic added tip. Plus some restaurants only count food – no drinks – towards the total (check the specific certificate). Plus it is hard to get your total right at $50, so you will likely go over that a little bit. So best case is $50 total + $9 tip + $4 tax – $25 certificate = $38 OOP. And remember that if your total is a little over $50, you will have tax and tip on those items also — and it easliy could come up to $50 OOP. But you do save money if you were going to eat out anyway!

********You can get the dinner of the month club for 90% off, as well. You'll get a $25 certificate emailed to you every month. 12 months for a total of $12!!!! Savings of $108!!!*******

      • Plus, you get the free $50 certificate.

    • Rstorey5

We love medival times in lawrenceville. They had them on list. I bought 8 of them, Which is $200 worth for only $8 bucks. Yea for Christmas gifts.

    • Guest

Just remember you can only go to the same restaurant once a month even if you go for a dinner and lunch. 99 percent of place will add add the 18% to your bill before the discount. So on average most places will only take for dinner hard to find a place that takes them for lunch.

Sooo frustrating, this website has not worked for me for days!!

    • pupumommy

I went to ebate and click the “shop now” button and my security software detected malicious website from them. Has anyone have a problem (PC slows down)?

      • Hayleyb323

        mine too.

    • tarheelbaby1

Website isn't working for me either. I've tried various times throughout the day.

    • Puppydogiscute

The site seems to work sometimes and not others. I kept trying over and over again for over an hour. I eventually was able purchase 12 certificates for less than $12 and saved over $100. However, I won't be able to print them for up to 24 hrs. Thanks Southern Savers for posting this deal!!!

    • kris<3

Worked for me. I got $30 for a pizza place and $100 for a japanese restaurant for a total of $8!! Total savings of over $70. Great Christmas presents :)

    • tarheelbaby1

I had been struggling to get all the way through to the payment page all day, but it just worked for me. So, keep trying!

    • Annette
