Need a place to take Dad for dinner in a few weeks?

Starting today through Monday 6/15, using code PRESENT you can get 80% off your entire purchase on Restaurant.com.  This is incredibly early in the month for them to go to 80% off so you will probably find new places that have been sold out on past sales.

Whether you want a cheap lunch or dinner out, or you want to give a general gift certificate for someone else you can get:

$25 dining or gift certificates for $2

$10 dining or gift certificates for .60 cents

For us this makes for cheap lunches out with Daddy, or inexpensive dinner dates. Think of them as a $10 off or $25 off coupon.

Do you do cashback?

Go to ebates.  Go to Restaurant.com through ebates and get 15% cash back.  If you have never used ebates before you will also get a $5 bonus for openning a new account.  Here’s a little bit more on what ebates is.

Does anyone know if there is an expiration on gift certificates from restaurant.com?

    • Ronda

Thank you so much. My favorite restaurant in Cartersville is on there and now we can go again. It’s been over 10 months since we’ve been due to economy.

    • I believe the website says certificates are valid for 1 year (unless in CA). Also, the fine print says 20% will be added to the check before the gift certificate is applied (although with 80% off, its still a great value!!!).

Just picked up 4 $10 gift certificates to my favourite restuarant in Bham, ROJO, for $2.40!!!

Any other yummy places in B’ham it is good for? I’ve heard a lot about ROJO but have yet to go there…

    • Cori

Yes, be careful though, you usually have to make a minimum purchase to use the certificate.

    • Nashvillians!!! Mad Platter is listed this time around! This is one of THE VERY BEST RESTAURANTS in Nashville. I bought 4, my husband will be SO excited when I tell him.

The wording on the coupon for the restaurant I was interested in says “one per table”. This does mean that I could only use one certificate per visit, right? I really would like to take my dad to Shula’s in Birmingham, and I might could afford it if I could use four or so at one time. I was thinking about taking six people. I wonder if it they would allow a certificate per seperate check. Does anyone know for sure? thanks for any help or input

i got one for the melting pot and on the bottom it says you can only use one per table and it all has to be on one check. it also says you cannot use any other coupons. also, you can only use one gift certificate per restaurant per month….so basically i can only use the gift certificate i just bought for the melting pot, if i want to use another one i have to wait until july….hope this helps!!

I am only about one month into this website and have already saved SO MUCH money for my family on groceries. Now, I just got 4 $25 gift cert. and 4 $50 gift cert. to an awesome restaurant in our area for $24.. great Christmas gifts!! Even with the minim. purchase (which is $100 on the $50 gift card and $50 on the $25 gift card) you’ll still pay hardly nothing if you take a group of friends and put it all on one bill…Who wouldn’t like this??? Thank you….
