Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 300 x 250

If you have any last minute gifts you need, Restaurant.com has just released real gift cards.  You order it online and they will mail it out for free to you or to the person you are ordering for.

These are gift cards that they can then use to come on Restaurant.com and select certificates to use at any store they would like in their area.   In the past we have printed out their gift certificates to give to others, but I love the idea of giving them a real gift card rather than something printed from the computer.

If you use the code SNOW you will get 70% off these gift cards.

$25 gift card for $4.50
$50 gift card for $7.50
$100 gift card for $12

They don’t have to use it all at the same time.

If you are shopping for your own dinner out then use SNOW to get

$10 gift certificates for $1.20
$25 gift certificates for $3

Think of these as coupons off your meal and make sure you read any requirements for use.

If you go through ebates, get 15% cash back.

    • Crystal

      Is this real?

      • Kristy

Yes… I haven’t used them yet b/c they don’t list any resturants that my family likes but my father uses it all the time!

      • Sarah

The “catch” (if you can even consider it one) is that you usually have to have a minimum purchase (like $35 to use a $25 certificate). But each restaurant lists their minimum purchase and exclusions before you even click to add to your cart.

    • Cheryl

This seems almost to good to be true. Anyone done this before?

    • Brenda

I am a little confused. Are the gift certificates then used by the recipient directly at the restaurants or to purchase certificates on line? Any idea?

      • Sarah

I think the gift certificates mentioned at the top for giving are for the recipient to use on Restaurant.com to pick out their actual restaurant gift certificates.

    • Sarah

      When I entered SNOW, it’s a 70% off code. So $25 is $4.50 and $10 is $3. Is there a different code?

      Still a great deal though!

    • Crystal

okay how does it work? You buy a giftcard and use it? Sorry don’t understand how they can sell them for sooo cheap..thank you!

    • Stacey W

We’ve used the paper certificates before and they’re real! We ate out with a family of four and included a drink and appetizer for less than $20 with tip! I’m planning on using another certificate for date night this weekend! I am confused about how the gift cards would work though. Seems like it’d be easier just to get them a paper GC to a specific place to eat!

    • Missi

Thanks so much for pointing out this deal!! I just got a $100 card for $12.50!!

To answer some questions, these are for real. They way the gift card works is that you can use it on Restaraunt.com to purchase thier certificates. The certificates are only for certain restaraunts and all that I’ve seen have certain stipulations. For instance, we use these at our favorite Italian place. We buy a $25 certificate for $6, but to use it you have to spend $35 on 2 entrees, Sun-Thurs (no holidays), and they add an 18% gratuity. Most are also only for food…not alcohol. So in the long run, it save us about $10-12 on our meal (when you take into consideration the price you pay for the certificate and gratuity).

You don’t have to use the gift card all at once, and you can use it for different places and different denominations of certificates. Before you buy one you should defintely check out the restaraunts in your area that participate and see if you’d actually use it.

      • This offer is NOT available in some areas, such as mine! Disappointment…

      • JoAnn

I just called Restaurants.com and was told that you can only use 1 certificate per visit. I got the individual $10 certificates. Is that correct ? Has anyone used multiple certificates for 1 visit ?

        • Noelle

You can only use 1 per group, per visit

    • Jennifer Wilson

I paid $36 for the printable certificates from restaurant.com and the restaurants that I’ve tried to use them at not only don’t take them anymore but have signs up on the front door saying they don’t take them. One restaurant said something about restaurant.com taking over 3 months to pay them their money. To be honest I’ve only tried 2 of the restaurants, but both were no longer taking them. “The Bull” graciously accepted ours because it was bought before they had made their decision… and let me say “BEST FOOD EVER”… the other one would not take it at all

      • Stacey W

I’m not sure about this but I think there is an option to exchange unused gift certs on the website for credit to buy other certificates!

    • Jennifer Wilson

Ok, to be fair, I just went to the site and the 2 restaurants I tried are not listed any more. But one of them told me “nobody in Mobile is taking them anymore” And I was 2 for 2 in finding the establishments that will not honor them. So call the restaurant first, speak with the manager, and get his name before you pay for these certificates. I lost a lot of money
