** Discount Code Expired at 12pm, I will try to find another one**

Sorry, if you are getting tired of posts about restaurants.com however, I can’t say I have ever seen them go past 70% but they sent out emails saying they were trying to boost 3rd quarter earnings.  I’d say this is the way to do it…

If you use Restaurant.com certificates to save on dining out, now’s the time to stock up. Save 80% by using the code “EIGHTY” during checkout.

Remember certificates are good for one year after purchase. You can also use this code to buy general gift certificates to restraurant.com if you are looking for Christmas gifts for bosses etc. (we did that one year). Get a $25 Christmas present for $2 or impress them and get a $50 giftcard for $4. They can then get as many certificates to whatever restaurants they want.

This also makes $10 giftcards .60 cents so I just went and stocked up for cheap lunches at downtown restaurants for my husband!

I’ve been having problems with their website trying to find restaurants. Has anyone else had that problem? I wanted to see what places you can get certificates for.

    • Jill

The only problem is the minimums though. For $25, most of them require you spend $35 and add an 18% tip, and with tax, that means you still pay at least $20 at the restaurant. And the $50 certs have a $100 minimum. If I was going to go to that restaurant anyway, I guess it would be a good deal.

When I went on this morning I typed in our zip code first and it came back with nothing but then typed in the zip code for downtown 29201 and got over 30 places.

    • Candice

What’s the gift cards? I don’t see that on there.

    • Jenny

Click on “give a gift” near the top right and it will reload a page that allows you to get gift certificates.

    • Jennifer

The site is stating that the discount code has expired.

I also had trouble finding restaurants in my area and when I did find them and try to check out, it said the coupon code had expired:( Oh well, I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
