It’s another very slow week at Rite Aid. I’ve looked at this list for an hour and just don’t see anything to build a $25 scenario with. If there are things you need then group all of your items together so that you can use the $5 off $25 purchase coupon. *This is the first week of February Rebates.*

If you see any other deals please share!shoppinglist1

Are the Rite Aid video coupons considered store coupons they say manufactor on them?

      • kiley

they are a rite aid coupon because they have the rite aid bar code on them. Mine are always taken as a RA coupon

        • Susan

I think it depends on the store. Here in Nashville, I tried to use an ad perk coupon plus a manufacturer coupon on Carefree ultra protection a couple weeks ago and the computer wouldn’t recognize the manufacturer Q after the ad perk one was scanned. I haven’t tried since but I’m planning on attempting it tomorrow with the Quilted Northern.

          • I did the carefree ultra deal with the manufacturer and store coupon and it worked. I ALWAYS hand over the manufacturer coupon before the store one just to make sure. Rite Aid’s policy allows you to use both on any one item so if it beeps on the second coupon it will be a store one which they will push through.

            • Rebecca

Thanks for the info. I always wonder which one is best to do first, since I don’t go there very often. Now I’ll know!

      • Jenny

Great Deal! I’ll add it above! Thanks

        • Astrid

I just checked the prices on the Rite Aid website. Looks like the stuff is price, starting at $42, but there’s a set that’s like $61, so not as great as I was hoping, but still pretty good deal!

      • Pam

Can you do the $10 SCR & the $25 Gift Card rebate off of the same transaction? I have never shopped at Rite Aid, but have wanted to try Alli. So, I would LOVE to be able to do this deal and basically get it for free!!!

    • amy

There is a P&G rebate offer spend $25 to get 5$ Visa Card, $50 to get $15 and $100 to get $35 visa card. Buy listed products from Rite Aid valid on purchases from 1-17-2010 to 2-13-2010.
      Thank you for everything!

      • amy

sorry just saw where you did it already! Yeah!

    • Cascade is on sale for 2.99, and there is a 1.00 coupon in the refresh your nest booklet that you can register for online at the home made simple website. You won’t get the coupon book in the mail in time for this sale, but if you already got the book, it could be a good time to use it.
I am still relatively new to couponing, so if someone has better advise to hold this coupon for a better deal to come, let me know.

      • Tina M

It also is a P & G product, so it counts toward their rebate. I hope to pick some up since we didn’t get an electrosol Q in our local paper and I am low on dishwasher detergent!

      • Tawanda

The Cascade must be a regional offer. It wasn’t advertised in the New Orleans area. I asked an associate to scan it, and it rang up regular price. I would get it at the price of $2.99 – $1 MQ because it goes towards the P& G rebate.

        • Tina M

Sadly, it is not advertised in the Chattanooga area either, so no detergent for me!

    • kiley

does anybody know where or how to get the codes for the natures bounty vitamin coupons

      • Tegan

The codes are found on the bottles you’ve already purchased. You can also get $2 off coupon for just joining Nature’s Bounty rewards program.

    • If anyone is doing the P&G rebate, I have a few scenarios cooked up here: http://beautifulfrugallife.blogspot.com/2010/01/rite-aid-weekly-deals-124-130.html
No outrageous moneymakers, but decent if you are already doing the P&G.

Shirley – Thanks for reminding me about the Cascade coupon in my Refresh Your Nest. Totally forgot about it!

    • Michelle

Just thought I’d mention that the Nature’s Bounty and Flex-a-min deals will go toward the Healthy Heart 2010 Rebate #552. Here are the details:

Purchase Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) of Any Variety for a $10.00 Rite Aid Gift Card
OR Purchase Fifty Dollars ($50.00) of Any Variety for a $25.00 Rite Aid Gift Card.

This could mean some free vitamins, or we could even make a profit on some things!

      • Michelle, is offer #552 in the February rebate book? I did not see it in the January book.

        • Michelle

I think it is listed by itself like the P&G rebate, Peggy. The starting date for the rebate is tomorrow. If you go to http://www.riteaid.com/scr, you should find it.

      • kelli

I was so excited about this until I read the rebate… it says:

*Gift Card mailed separately from rebate check. Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).
Sales tax excluded. Cannot be combined with any other offer.

I’ll never spend $25 oop on vitamins. :(

    • Adele

I am not seeing the Cadbury coupon at AdPerks (where the link takes us). Am I missing it?
      Thank you!

    • Sabrina

FYI…I think the Renuzit is on sale B1G1 free..If you go to the Hip2Save.com and look under Rite aid there is a link that will let you download coupons $1 off 1 so you could actually use 2…one on the one you “pay” for and the “free” one. The site also has some other renuzit coupons. Just wanted to pass this along :)

      • There’s also a Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon in 1/10 RP. It is on Renuzit Adjustables. If that is what is on sale you could do the following deal:

        Purchase 4 Adjustables

—-2 are free due to promotion BOGO

—Use Buy 2 Get another 1 Free

—-Use $1/1 printable on the one you pay for

End up paying the price of the 1 (minus the $1 coupon) and getting 3 free

Sorry it’s confusing without having the prices but hopefully you get what I’m saying! :)

        • Sabrina

I don’t remember if the adjustables were included…but no matter..every time I plan something and had a good scenario for this week my little Rite Aid doesn’t carry that only the big stores! ARG! At least I got TP for $3.49.

    • karen

I didnt get any alli coupons in my paper…Do you know any other place to get them? Thanks for your help

      • Tracie

There is a $5 off Alli in the Video Values Rite Aid program. There is a link to it on last week’s Rite Aid deals.

        • Jenny

It is linked to above also.

    • hsv mom

Does anyone know about how much the Flexa-min vitamins are regularly?

    • Anna

Only transaction I am doing this week cause it’s a good deal on the toilet paper is: 3 Quilted Northern 12 rolls and 2 Cadbury eggs. Subtotal will be $20.47. Use a bonus $5/$20 Video Values coupon, 3 $2 off 1 Quilted Northern Video Values coupons, 3 $1 off 1 Quilted Northern from tomorrows’ Red Plum, and 1 $.50/2 Cadbury Video Values coupon. Total out of pocket will be $5.97 plus tax. Pretty good for toilet paper!! Hope that helps someone!
By the way, in case you are wondering about printing/using multiple Video Values coupons, my store had told me that since the website prompts you to choose how many prints you want, then they take them. They basically follow the ‘beep’ theory. If it doesn’t beep when the scan your coupons, then they take them. I have also handed over VV coupons first, then manu coupons.

      • I didn’t notice that it asked me to chose how many I wanted to print! Are you talking about when it goes to the printer screen and you can choose how many copies? Sorry, it’s been a while since I printed mine so I don’t remember exactly. Thanks for the tip though!

        • Elizabeth

I just did this, and it had a window pop up on my computer that said, “please note, our coupons can only be printed one time and after that they will dissapear from your inbox.”

I hope I’m reading that right, or I just missed out…

    • Kelly

In reference to the Old Spice deodorants on sale, how many of the coupons listed can we use in one transaction? For instance, if I bought 3 deodorants, can I use the $1/2, the B2G1 Secret, and the B3G1 Body Spray in one transaction, plus the RiteAid $1/1 in ad?

      • Ashley

I believe you can use the $1/2 with the B2G1 OR the B3G1. I know for sure that you can’t use the 2 different buy one get ones at the same time. So you can do either: B2G1 plus $1/2 or B3G1 plus $1/2. You can stack Rite Aid coupons with any manufacturer coupons for each product that you get.

    • Meme

I have a big problem. One of my Olay products dropped and broke at the register. It was the last one on the shelf. I didn’t realize until I was going to fill out the Olay Regenerist rebate that the one that broke was one of my Regenerist purchases. I purchased six Olay products. One Definity was actually more than the Regenerist. Do you think if I write an explanation to accompany my rebate with all items circled they will be lenient and give me the rebate? I don’t have anymore time to do an exchange now as the date expired on the 24th. Has anyone else here had success with situations like this?

It seems no matter how hard I try I always mess up something about my transactions and this was an expensive one for me.

      All help is appreciated. Meme

      • Pauline

I have taken things back to the store and explained that the item must have already been broken when I purchased it & received a replacement with no problem (of course, I had my receipt). I am not sure what you need for your rebate or how soon you need it but it seem as though the store should just replace it for you when they get new stock in. Good Luck!

        • Meme

Thank you, Pauline, for the reply. I guess I didn’t explain what happened clearly. The Regenerist item I needed for the rebate literally broke open and spilled on the floor. So I didn’t purchase it. I think I made the choice for another item without paying attention that it was Definity, a high ticket item. If I had the two Regenerist products on my receipt I could send off for the Olay Regenerist rebate with no problem. I could just go exchange it later if broken without noticing. I was hoping someone had the experience of getting a rebate for purchasing so many Olay items including one Regenerist, just as a “good faith” act on the part of the company. I guess I could try and see. Can’t hurt. thanks again for the reply.

          • Ashley

I know that if this happened to me, I would think to settle with the fact that I’m gonna miss out.

    • marie

All of our Rite Aid clearance is 90% off this weekend…included Christmas adn summer and even some back to school…I got a little crazy and did not break it up into mulitple transactions, but still got amazing price so it’s fine…our Rite Aid will take coupons on clearance so light bulbds, make up, etc were basically free! Lots of stocking stuffers fornext year! Good way to get to your 5/25.

    • Sarah in nc

FYI, you can get the Carefree liners ($3.99) for FREE!!! using:

      1 carefree liners 16 ct 3.99
      1 Maybeline mascara 6.99 (I think before 40% off)

Aveeno(exluding baby) and Lubriderm are b1g1 50% off also. Good if you’re still looking to do the rebate!

    • Candy

Does anyone know if Rite Aid will price match a Target ad? Rite Aid is having Coke 12pack 3 for $11 but Target is having it 4 for $11. I would prefer to stick with Rite Aid since they have the $5 off $20 coupon.

      • Tegan

RA doesn’t price match nor take competitors’ coupons, but then again it’s up to the managers. There’s a $1 RA adperk coupon for coke, which would be a better deal than using the in-ad coupon.

    • Looks like I’ll just be getting cheap toilet paper this week. I don’t see anything else that I need. Maybe next week will be better!

    • Don’t know if this is in your ad or not, but Dulcolax is
      -$3 MQ 12/13 SS
      -$2 MQ 1/24 SS
      – printables also – http://www.dulcolaxusa.com/consumer/purchase/specialOffers/SpecialOffersController.jpf

    • Lisa

Is Rite Aid like CVS, and if so does CVS and Publix accept the $5.00 off $25.00 coupon?????????

      • Rebekah

i spoke to a cashier last wed. @ Publix on Gervais St. in Columbia. She said they DO NOT take Target, CVS, RA, or Wags Qs. They do accept FL,Bi-Lo and there might have been another one. Does anyone know if this specific Publix ever gets any of the Coupon Booklets in? I have asked at least 2x now about if they had any at the service desk. They just offer me the green advnatge buy flyer. Please let me know. I don’t get to go to Two Notch or Harbison area very much:(

        • Lisa

i think jenny stated that if you register through publix.com, they will mail you the coupon booklet.

          • Rebekah

that’s awesome i will try doing that. thanks Lisa

    • Shelly

    • I a new shopper at Rite Aid so I am wondering if there is a limit on this deal:
Quilted Northern Bath Tissue, 12pk $6.49
-$2 off Quilted Northern 12 pk printable (store coupon)
-$1 off Quilted Northern RP 1/24
(use both coupons, makes it $3.49)

      • Gail

You should be able to buy as much as you want and use two coupon on each northern you buy.

    • Josie

Do both items in the BOGO Nature’s Bounty vitamins count toward SCR 552? Or just the one that was paid for?

      • kelli

it says: “*Gift Card mailed separately from rebate check. Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).
Sales tax excluded. Cannot be combined with any other offer.”

so, just just the one you paid for, minus any coupons. I was sad when I read that.

        • Deb – Clemson

I believe the price ‘before’ coupons is what they use…and yes, if you B1G1 only the $$$ of one of them count towards the rebate.

Xtra Laundry Detergent (44 Loads) @ $1.99. Pretty Good deal. I thought there was a coupon out there it, but couldn’t find it anywhere. Even without a coupon $1.99 is a good deal. Blairsville, GA

    • Last time P&G did a rebate like this I got some cheap diapers so I was excited to see this again. Last time I realized it the last day and had to run out to grab a few more boxes but this time I really looked at it and made a plan.

Pampers are a great deal with the P&G rebate.

if you ONLY bought diapers it would be 5 LARGE BOXES and a small P&G item since you will be pennies shy of $100.

break it up into orders of $25 by adding in other items you need or other rebates.

each order should be about $25
      use $5 off $25 coupon
      use $2 off pampers
      any coupons for other items

      cost for the diapers
      – $25 (5 off 25 coupons x 5 orders)
      – $10 (2 off pampers coupons x 5)
      = $65 OOP
      – $35 P&G visa card
= $30 for 5 BIG BOXES of Pampers for $6 per box!!!

OR do 4 orders of $25 worth of P&G
a pack of diapers and a $5+ item (the always on sale last week were great for this and I had the B1G1 coupons. Which helped me rack up to $65 quickly. This week i only need 2 packs of diapers and I am at $100….Perhaps you bought these also and are part way to there already)

the costs for only buying 4 depends on what you pair it with and whether you consider the full $35 towards the diapers or other items. But any way you do it thats cheap diapers.

What looks good this week for add ins? I like to look for items that overlap rebates to maximize the savings… I got $2 for the always I bought. This week Old spice and Gillette are on sale and have rebates. Bounty, cascade and dawn are also included in the list and are on sale this week.

And I know I have coupons for ALL OF THESE YEAH!!! Hope this helps you get excited.

    • Here’s my special deal: My old Sonicare had died and my dentist gave me a mfr coupon for $10 off a new Sonicare (maybe your dentist has one, too!). I stacked that on top of the $10 off Sonicare in-ad coupon, and stacked my $5 off/$25 coupon on top of that! Voila, I have a new Sonicare for $25 off retail!

has anyone had any luck with the game of life yet? somehow I got 5 tickets today and all but 2 of them were duplicates… and I don’t have very many. I was just curious if anyone has won anything.

      • Susan

I’ve won $2 twice, a free box of Kleenex, and a free pump of Softsoap. Not the big stuff, but I’ll take it!

        • kelli

wow, a lot better then I’ve done. I’ve just gotten a bunch of 25 cent off coupons and a ton of duplicate pieces.

          • Gail

That’s all I have gotten too! Oh well – maybe this week we will win.

    • Great article. There’s a lot of good info here, though I did want to let you know something – I am running Redhat with the up-to-date beta of Firefox, and the design of your blog is kind of bizarre for me. I can read the articles, but the navigation doesn’t function so great.

I was beginning to like Rite Aid more than CVS… but now I don’t even know if I like either store anymore.

I went into Rite Aid today to buy some Nature’s Bounty (BOGO sale until tomorrow) and I had 4 $5 off coupons for Nature’s Bounty. I was planning on buying 4 bottles that were $9.99 each and a package of paper towels. At the register, I was told that I could only use 1 coupon per 2 BOGO items. I told the cashier that I was almost positive that that isn’t the corporate policy (it isn’t, is it?) and she told me again that she couldn’t take them. I asked to speak to a manager who also told me that I couldn’t use 2 coupons on a BOGO sale. The store manager wasn’t there, so I couldn’t go any higher. I’m just really frustrated. She finally told me that she couldn’t accept coupons for more than the cost of the items….

the items I was buying were $9.99, 2 coupons would be -$10.

I then asked her to adjust them down for me and she said that they aren’t allowed do that that, per corporate policy. So, I asked her to just take 3 of the coupons… $19.98 – $15, then they aren’t losing anything. She then again said no, only 1 coupon per 2 BOGO items.

I just don’t get it. I don’t understand why they can’t adjust down a coupon. This happened to me last week with the tums.

      • Susan

Must be your store–my store takes 2 coupons for 2 BOGO items all the time.

        • kelli

Mine has too, up until today. Does your store adjust down a coupon that’s for more than the price of the item? I have to go talk to the store manager on Monday. ugh!
