I noticed that the $10 P&G Up Reward deal is missing from the list (includes Pantene, Crest Strips, Gillette, diapers, etc). It's on the first page of the ad for those who want to know. :)

      • Valeriejcm

Wow! Thanks for this. Looking at the ad I see that the Pampers box also has a $5 UP reward and the Crest has a $1 SCR. At first I got REALLY excited because I thought I had a coupon for the razor and a better one for the diapers! Too bad they expired on 8/31! Still a good deal though.

    • Cgilda527

I went to Red Plum to print the $5 off $25 coupon. I did not see it. Do I need to put in a specific zip code in order for this coupon to come up? I would really like to use this one! Thanks

      • Ddslowe

if you watch 20 video then you earn the $5 off coupon and you will be able to print it.

        • grace

It is now 4 off and not 5

      • I wen to RedPlum and didn't see it either, but I went to Rite-Aid for $5 off $25, and it only made me watch 1 2:+ minute commercial and gave it to me!! I didn't have to earn a whole bunch of points like previously to get it!

        • Rachel

They actually have 3 videos, 2 will earn $5 off $25, & 1 will earn you $4 off $20 but for this 1 you have to watch 20 videos.

Jenny has her link set for Rocklin, CA I believe. It let me print mine out, but remember the Wellness card is tracking your use of these coupons, so don't waste your paper and ink trying to use more than one of each coupon. As casual as my local stores are about coupons, they are sticking to their guns on this one.

    • Wcushelley

How do you get the clip and save booklet? If I ask, will they give it to me or is it just for flu shots or something like that?

      • ezed

I have tried 3 Rite Aids so far and none have it. Went to the fourth and the person at the pharmacy couldn't find them. Very frustrating. I was told that you get one once you get your flu shot. But I also wondered if they would just give it to me.

      • Daniel

I work at Rite AID in Hoover and we have them in the pharmacy to give to flu shot customers

      • meme

I went to the Rite Aid website and looked up the store schedule for the flu shot. Not all stores have someone qualified to give the shot. Anyway, I printed out the schedule to give to each Rite Aid in town with my name on it as a nice service. (The reason being, no one at the stores knew they were to give the flu shot this year.) Did I mention I put my name on it so that when the booklets came in they would save me one (or two) for my kind deed. Just a suggestion for some who may miss out when the booklets arrive in the stores.

the $2 UP probably has a limit of 1…maybe two if we're lucky:)

Can someone in the Greenville, SC area help me – I tried two different Rite Aids this week and neither had the weekly ads in their stores. The items weren't ringing up on sale that were supposedly on sale, and I had no way to prove it because they won't have the ads till November due to conversion to Save a Lot. Has anyone else experienced this?? Does this mean we can't take advantage of these deals for a couple months?? Thanks!

      • Fullhouse

not all areas have the same items on sale, for instance this is the “long ad” and here in TN, we get the “short” ad which may only have 1/2 or less of these deals. I think you should be able to got to riteaid dot com and put in your zip to look at the ad for your area. This is what I do, and it helps me to make a better decision before making the trip in.

      • Denise

ALL the Greenville and Easley Rite Aids are closing. The one on Wade Hampton (close to Dunkin Donuts) is reopening as a SavMor or SaveALot(or something like that). From what I hear they will be selling groceries!

I don't think they are doing any sale items – just selling the leftovers until they convert over!

      • Melissa

We are no longer getting the Rite Aid deals. Greenville county was selected for a test market. They are converting to Save-A-Lot grocery stores. Spartanburg county will be the closest Rite Aid for me. This makes me very sad. I loved making money at Rite Aid. Just try and take advantage of their clearance sales right now. When they reopen they will have their own “sale” paper for Save-A-Lot.

      • meme

I am in Anderson, SC and we usually have the short ad and Greenville the long ad. I noticed when I went to the Rite Aid site this time to compare the two ads, it gave me the short ad for Greenville. I didn't get a paper last Sunday, so I couldn't guarantee this was the case. If you put in a zipcode for another place (that has the long ad) you will be able to copy and paste the items you want to purchase and put them in a word document to take a copy with you to the store. The Anderson stores have always honored the prices in the long ad if we have the ad with us. They even adjust the next transaction to reflect the UP's reward that won't print locally. I hope this is helpful and not too confusing.

      • Asheeesave

I live in Greenville SC and I sent an email to Rite Aid corporate to see what was going on with the stores in our area. Here is the response I got from the Greenville SC district manager:

Thank you for contacting us about your concerns on your local Rite Aid pharmacy. Let me assure you that our new concept stores will create even better value than what you are already used to. We are simply transforming our stores into more savings for you, the customer, with better pricing of our OTC drugs, health and beauty aids, and even an expanded grocery department.

We will continue to promote the Wellness program so that you can save points on your card for bonus offers. We will also continue to promote rebate program, although it may be limited. We will still save you money instantly.

Thank you for inquiring. Please check us out by October 31st, we will be open in 10 stores with this new concept. I am very excited about this change and so many of our customers are as well.

        Hope this helps.

    • Drseusnc

Has anyone been able to print the $2 Playtex coupon? I have tried several times and it says “Once the 'Print Console' appears you may click the “Continue” button.)

except nothing ever came up. Very confusing since this has never happened before. Thank you

      • toni

It printed fine for me just a minute ago.

      • Jessica

        It printed fine for me.

    • kim

Check your email accounts. I had an email from Riteaid with my quarterly reward summary and it included a $3.00 off $15 purchase coupon.

Have never gotten one from CVS and now I am getting them from RA. yippee

      • Kathy

Thanks, I wasn't going to open that e-mail!

      • Lucky you. I got 20% off non-sale items (one-time pass) I already have one of those from the wellness card.

      • grace

I got a 10% pass, wish I got what you got, went into the store and got another 10% pass, I never use these, can you use them with them 5 off 25?

        • Christine

I’m going to try this on Monday. If I get $28 worth of stuff, I can use the 10% first which will bring my total down to $25.20. Then I’ll use the $5 off $25, then all of my other coupons and +UPs. I hope it works. :-) You could give them the $5 off $25 first, but then your 10% coupon won’t be worth as much. HTH

    • caroline

So, there are NO SCR's this week at all?
Are they dropping the SCR program?

      • Christine

I sure hope not! SCRs are what finally got me to try rebates–which I usually avoided.

      • Christine

Oh, and there are a few SCR deals–look at the top of the list. :-) You can get the SCR flyer in the store. There are a lot of deals in there that are good all month.

      • meme

See my post above. I mention all I saw in the Rebate book. The SCR's do seem to be few this time around.

    • pfsinnh

Rite Aid shoppers in Southern California are reporting only one $5 UP's reward for the big pack box of Pampers per card. On the J&J deal they are reporting up to three $2 UP's printing out for the Reach toothbrushes and only one $2 UP for the J&J baby lotion.
The California shoppers can start shopping on Thursday as opposed to Sunday. I hope that helps some of you plan your trips and coupon gathering.

I was hoping that more of these UP's deals would roll over and over like the Biotrue had done this week for so many people. :)

      • Michelle

Any word on how many times the Playtex UP is printing?

        • pfsinnh

          It's printing at least twice.

    • Angrcooking

I am kinda new to rite aide….how can i get 2 of the same Q's from the VV. I have one of the Q's below for that but how can I just watch the video again and earn another?

      (use (2) $1/2, makes it 50¢ ea)

      • Angel

I am new to using coupons all together…so when you buy more than one os the same item you have to a physical coupon for each item or do they scan one coupon mulitple times :/

        • You have to have a coupon for each item.

          • Angel

Thank you. Do you know if there is a way to print them more than once? If you read the coupon it says one per customer and do not duplicate? Are they strict on that kind of thing? I am a bit confused by this.

            • Brooke

Until this past month, some people would print them as many times as they wanted and use them as many times as they wanted since your printer will ask how many copies. Rite Aid fixed that b/c now you can only obtain 1 of each coupon because the barcodes are now uniquely coded and the register will beep and say “coupon previously used” if you try another one.

            • Angel

That stinks. So do you know if the +UP rewards from Rite Aid are printed with specific dates to be used? Like if I buy something with a 2+ UP reward it prints on the bottom of my reciept can you go back the same day to use it?

            • meme

You can use it in the very next transaction. That is how you “roll” Rite Aid's money, so to speak. Try to keep your transactions small if you don't have many $5 off $$ coupons. Everyone does small transactions so don't let the cashiers make you feel rushed. You can step out of line and “regroup” your thoughts and get your items ready with coupons and UP's as the next customer does their purchase. It helps to write it down, etc. so you don't miss a coupon or add too many items and come out more OOP than you mean to. (I look like talking, I am the world's worst at making mistakes in couponing! LOL!!)

            • Val

You can use it the same day. They do have expiration dates.

            • No. You can only print once. Each coupon has its own barcode and can only be used once with your card. If you try to use a second one just like it, the register will beep and display the message that you have already used that coupon.

            • New2Qs

When it says do not duplicate, they mean don't take it to a copy machine and duplicate copies like that. Most internet coupons will let you print twice. you can hit the back button or the refresh button once your first coupon starts printing. On many coupons there is a special digitized bar code on the coupon near the top right side of the coupon. Even if you hit refresh and print another coupon that code will print out unique (hence not a duplicate). Each coupon has it own “rules” and every store has its own coupon rules too. It can be a little confusing at first but there are wonderful tutorials on this site. I suggest picking one or two stores to start out with and really learn their policies.

        • Christine

One coupon per item, so you have to have a physical coupon for each item. Most printables will let you print twice.

          • Angel

I tried printing thr rite aid video coupons twice, even tried watching it again…no dice. So, when starting out “trying” to coupon do you all think its best to try and stock pile coupons? It seems like a lot of the deals use older coupons.

            • If you really want to become a serious couponer, you should make certain that you get at least one newspaper every Sunday and NEVER discard a coupon until it has expired. I lot of people keep their inserts whole and file them, then just clip them as they need them. So far as Rite Aid's Video Value coupons go, at some point during the month you should watch every video that you may possibly use the coupon. They can be printed anytime before they expire, which is usually the end of the next month.

            • Christine

I was able to build up a collection fairly quickly. I've only been couponing for about two months. I have a larger filing envelope (that fits in my very large purse) and a smaller one for the individual stores that I go to on a regular basis. If you see a printable coupon that you think you might eventually use, you should print it because sometimes they will disappear quickly if it's a popular one.

            • Christine

Oh, sorry, I missed what you were asking before. With regular printables you can print two, but the Video Values are an exception and you can only print one. Like suemh said, the register will beep when you try and use the same one anyway.

      • You are only allowed to use 1 VV coupon per item per wellness card. Sometimes, they will offer the same coupon 2 months in a row and you can use them at the same time if you are buying more than one of the item.

        • Angrcooking

gotcha, Thanks so much for the reply.

        • Michelle J

Even if you do seperate transactions?

          • Yes, even if you do separate transactions. But, to clarify, that means one of each of the Video Values coupons, not just one total.

        • Mom2Angel

Have never had a problem with using multiple VV coupons for one wellness card as long as the VV coupons have different barcodes and are not just copies. We have 1 wellness card and 3 video value accounts for coupons. No problems here!

      • Christine

Oops, I just asked this same question. I know that watching the video again won't help. On the “My Rewards” link, it will say you've printed it already. However, I was wondering if you could just set up a new Video Values account with a different email and print those. I still don't think that will work. :-(

        • Guest

I used 2 different VV coupons (one from my account, and one from my husbands) this last week when I was purchasing the Airwick fresheners, and it worked fine, with no problems, and the manager said it was fine too! Didn't beep or anything.

          • Then maybe I am mistaken. I was going by what I have seen posted here. I have not actually tried it.

    • Rachel

For watching the 20 videos, RA is now giving $4 off $20 purchase but there are 2 other videos still that are $5 off $25 for just watching those videos.

    • di

      wow alot…………………..

    • Christine

I have a question about the Video Values. I have already used up all Red Plum and Video Values $5 off $25, $4 off 20 coupons. Could I set up a new Video Values account and use those coupons? For CVS, I have two Extra Care cards, but I don't think they'll let me do that at Rite Aid. I know the Video Values aren't attached to the Wellness card, but I think it won't take another $5 off $25 if I've already used that particular one. Any info would be great. :-)

      • If you did that, when you tried to use the 2nd VV coupons, the register would beep and give the message that you have already used that coupon. One alternative would be to get someone else to print a couple of the Red Plum coupons for you. They all have different bar codes.

        • Christine

Thanks! That's what I figured. I didn't want to find out at the register, though. :-)

        • Mom2Angel

I have never had any problems using multiple VV coupons on one wellness card. My family actually has 3 VV accounts and we have used 3 of the same VV coupons on the same card many times. No beeps here in GA.

      • Cindyrella

I set up an account for my husband and it does work to use those 5/25, even on the same card. I also set up a v v account for my sis who doesn't have internet, and I sometimes shop for her on my card with no problems. Each coupon has it's own unique number so can't use multiples of the same coupon from the same account. HTH

        • Christine

OK, thanks! I'll try it next week.

          • Christine

It worked, but now that I’ve read other comments I’m not sure it was OK to do–ethically, I mean. Some have said their managers are OK with it, though.

    • Brooke

Mistake on the Austin crackers. Can only use 1 $1/2 Rite Aid q, not 2 … unless there was a VV for last month and if you have it, and a VV for this month if you are buying 4.

    • sww

a few more q's i found when making my list:
$0.50 VVQ for nature valley or fiber one bars, $2 (makes free fiber one bars after $1UP, .50VVQ, .50manu)
$1/1 Johnson's baby powder, RP 8/15 (exp 9/12 though, and there is a printable one too)
$0.50 VVQ for trident gum 18ct (buy 4 at $1, use two $1/2 manu, 0.50 VVQ, get $1UP- makes it 4 packs for $0.50
happy shopping, this looks like a great week!

I found several SCR's Jenny didn't mention. (The girl needs her rest!) Veet is part of SCR #564 –the Glam Bag (which did not have any coupons this time).
All toothpaste, toothbrushes, and mouthwash are part of SCR #556. Burt's Bees baby items are part of #37 (but if you got the Hylands childrens products, you have already earned that one). SCR #42 is for Burt's Bees Radiance Face or Body items.

The Swiffer kits have coupons in the P&G book (that we got in the mail) $5 off starter kit, also Buy starter kit, get a refill Free. Also, $5 off starter kit that exp. 9/30. I suspect from the last P&G Sunday insert. (I clip my coupons so can't remember — just look at the list or search with Jenny's new coupon database)

Please don't wipe it all out. I seem to be the last one in the store and have to get rainchecks. This time I really need some of this stuff.

      • Bea

My q's are for the vacume starter, can you use this on the wet jet?

      • meme

Well, I have to reply to myself. That's sad! I think I was wrong on the SCR# 37. I didn't get credit for that SCR with the item I purchased a few days ago, so go ahead and get it with baby items on sale (Burt's Bees for babies) to get this SCR.

    • mightymousemom

The new People Magazine (the one w/the two 16 yrs olds/Adoption Story on the front) has a B1G1 Uncle Ben's Rice inside. Also, the P & G insert from 8/29 has a $5.00 off any Swiffer Starter Kit.

    • Coupons777

Anyone get the printable 5/25? Never works for me. I always get “print limit reached: Hannaford.”

      • Rebecca

Did you try the Toledo, OH zip (43666)? Best of luck!

      • Val

That usually means you've already printed the limit of 2 coupons each (maybe a few weeks back?). They haven't reset the coupon since the beginning of August.

      • Christine

Have you already done the Video Values? You can get two there, plus $4 off $20 for earning 20 video-watching points. I hope they reset that Red Plum one soon!

    • pfsinnh

Good morning everybody. Last night I posted the results of the UP's print limits that people from southern California are getting on these sales. Some people were buying multiple items and getting only one UP's reward.

Now people are starting to report multiple UP's printing out on some of the items that are bundled in the Buy$Get$ for P&G and J&J.

At least 2 sets of $5 UP's for the Pampers big boxes in one transaction.
At least 3 sets of UP's for the Reach toothbrushes
At least 3 sets of UP's for the J&J baby lotion/oil
At least 2 sets Of UP's for the Playtex
      ……maybe more

No one has tried doing the Buy$Get$ deals twice on one card yet to see if another $10 in UP's will print out.

I don't know why RA has a limit on UP's with some items and then give out unlimited UP's on other items. I read on another site that the company is toying with the idea of getting rid of the UP's limits altogether.

Maybe the company is still trying to decide whether it will be a good thing or not. Also read that the company is trying to do away with the long ad/short ad mess and get everyone on the same page with one ad for everybody. That would be great if it happens. :)

      • Val

Wow! Thanks for the info! People definitely need to check their ads before shopping this weekend. The short ad and long ad have quite a few differences!

      • Aminehdestin

I read your post last night and left a note today that the J&J and reach needs to be ordered up on because multiple +Ups are printing and w/the double deal of rewards we are going to run out quickly. *Hopefully* we caught it in time and can still get it ordered for the weekly truck. I do appreciate the info from last night!

    • Marlenecu

Just checked my email inbox and had my SCR quarterly statement & a one time use coupon $3/$15 purchase! I am seriously loving Rite Aid.

      • barbara

I got one of these too. Love it!!!!!!!

    • Lindsayinnc

Does anyone know whether you would receive the $2 +up reward for each Johnson and Johnson product purchased? Or would you only receive the +up reward once?

      • Valerie

Read pfsinnh post.. two post below

      • sww

i bought 4, got 4 $2 UP+ rewards this morning! same for the reach/listerine products (UPs printing for each item purchased). HTH

    • Dana

Just found that I can open two web browsers with Rite Aid video values in one and SouthernSavers in another and watch video values while I scroll SouthernSavers lists with my mouse scroll button. This doesn't activate the SS web browser, but still scrolls through it, and allows videos to keep playing. Now I can watch videos while still making my lists from the SS website!

    • patty

Swiffer Wet Jet Kit at $18.99

There was actually a coupon for $5 off so instead of using the 1 off use the 5 and it will actually make it 11.99 instead of 15.99 stated above :)

      • Dianne

Where is that $5 coupon? Thanks!

        • Saeweardsmith

          PG 8/29!

    • Pfsinnh

Is anyone else having a problem printing out the Playtex RedPlum coupon? I have tried to print on three different computers this morning and the screen keeps saying coupons have printed (but they didn't).

I don't know why this would happen on three separate computers, so I'm wondering if it's the website. ???

      • Myracash66

Yes, same thing happen to me on different computers. :(

      • Valerie

        I just printed– weird.

      • Awidener429

Mine let me print 1 but when I go to print another one it tells me that they have printed when it doesn't.

    • Ktrmunson

has anyone been able to print the garnier hair color coupon. If so what zip?

    • Ashley

Conair hair dryers are not $14.99. It is $24.99 after $5 RA q and $5 UP.

    • Cham

Can some one please tell me about this “$128 Inside Clip & Save booklet”…. where should I look? how much is the booklet?

      • christy

They are at the cash register at our rite aid store, and they are free.

        • Nmckeown

i just asked our store about them in North Augusta, SC and they had never heard of them… suggestions??

          • pfsinnh

Yes, just tell them they are the “flu coupon books”. They'll know exactly what you are talking about. :)

          • Awidener429

I'm work in the New Ellenton, SC store and we have been told not to hand them out until the flu shot dates(which ours is in Oct. and Nov. I think) but I also know that the Aiken store has some, not sure if they are giving them out yet though. North Augusta store may not have any. We found out after we recieved them that my store was NOT spossed to get them and that we are to give them to Aiken.

            • Nmckeown

I found them at the Walton Way, 15th St. store in Augusta. Apparently they are “the flu coupon books” (as stated below).

        • At my store, they said they are supposed to be only if you get a flu shot there, which makes sense because there was also an email that went out advertising over $100 incoupons if you get a flu shot there.

      • meme

Some stores are only giving them to those getting a flu shot. They have a schedule for the stores who don't have someone on staff who can give the shot. If it comes to that week and they have an excess of books, they may start handing them out (especially to their regular customers). Just a thought. I am not a Rite Aid employee so I could be wrong.

      • Cham

tks ladies…. I knew you could direct me to something good. I am gonna give a try today.

    • LRae17

I don't see it listed above, but from the posted ad, it looks like there's a P&G UP Reward deal too (see first page of ad for qualifying products). Buy $30 of select P&G items, get $10 +UP Rewards. Might help me make my $10 P&G Rebate when you buy $30 Pantene, Venus, etc. that ends on the 17th.

    • wjwrunner

For the P&G deal, can I buy the pampers and J&J products to make up the $30 for the UP reward?

      • pfsinnh

No, you can only use the items listed with either the J&J or the P&G, but can't combine them. Hope I'm saying that right. :)

    • Davisla1

Can you only get 1 of the $1 off Garnier coupons from Video Values or can you print it as many times as you watch it?

      • pfsinnh

You can only print off one coupon for the month per person/email registration. If you register under another email address you can print off another coupon. HTH

    • pfsinnh

Okay. There is a surprise $1.51 Money Maker on the Crest 3D White toothpaste on the front page of your ads.

The 3D White 4oz. has a a $2.00 SCR attached to it, but shoppers on the west coast are also getting a $1.50 UP's reward on their receipts when they buy it. I think it's because there is a $1.50 UP on the Crest Pro-Health 4oz and the system can't tell them apart!

      So here's the breakdown:
      Crest 3D White 4oz. $2.99
      -$2.00 SCR
      -$1.50 UP's
      -use $1/1 any Crest 4oz from P&G 8/29
      = $1.51 money maker
I hope they don't catch on to this mistake and fix it right away! ;)

      • Amy B.

        Worked for me!

      • barbara

Yep, I was surprised with this. I'm in Idaho.

    • Pennywiseinasheville

Can someone please tell me what the Save Big Dream Big Booklet is and where I can get one.

    • Bridgetyowell

How often can you do the 4$ off 20$ at Rite AId

      • Val

Once. The coupon will be linked to your Wellness card.

      • Aminehdestin

You can earn the $4 off $20 once a month. The videos all reset every 4 weeks so you can earn it again. You can't print multiples though, they are individually coded now to prevent it. There are 2 on the site that you can get right away for watching one video each and those each earn you $5 off $25.

        • mell

is it wrong to have another VV account to get the $5/$25 coupons? I see that people say that it works to use them with their wellness card but idk…it seems wrong to me…

          • Aminehdestin

Yeah, you're not supposed to. I kind of understand that multiple people in the house can watch the videos, but I'm afraid that the company will stop the videos all together if they keep feeling the kind of pinch that made them actually start limiting them to begin with.

          • Jenni

Well, VV coupons are tracked by wellness cards, and I *think* regardless of the VV's account, the wellness card will know if a certain type of coupon has been used. So the only way this would work is if you got more than one wellness account, which is not allowed. Not only that, but VV coupons print with your name on them, so Rite Aid has, in multiple ways, tried to make clear that each household is to have ONE wellness account, and ONE Video Values account… though many try to find some way to get around what Rite Aid has CLEARLY intended. (Like RA hasn't already done enough!?)

So your gut feeling is right. It IS wrong to do this. Just because others get away with something is NOT a reason to try it for yourself. The people who get away with things are the reason that these programs sometimes get TAKEN away from everyone.

    • Rnrbartlett

can someone explain how the $ + UP works? I am really confused.

      • Christine

If you understand CVS's Extra Care Bucks, it's just like those. When you buy something with a +UP reward, the reward will print at the bottom of your receipt. You can use it on your next transaction on almost anything–except prescriptions, gift cards, stamps, etc. Sometimes I'll do two transactions in one visit and use the +UPs from the first transaction on the second one. Click on the Rite Aid link at the top–she has a lot of good info there.

        • chrystalm

If it says limit 1 and they really enforceing it. Will the ups only print 1 time per card. I know in the beggining the computer would print the ups an unlimited amount of time.

          • chrystalm

Sorry typo, what I meant to ask is are they really enforceing the up+ rewards limits that print out with your purchases.

            • Val

No, not really. They all say Limit 1, but some print multiple, and some don't. The best thing to do is check this site and see what's printing for people.

    • meme

To those in the Greenville area: I encourage anyone on the south side of Greenville to visit the Anderson, E. Greenville St., store. It is at the corner of N. Main and E. Greenville Street. It is the friendliest store I have ever shopped at. They work really hard to make their customers welcome. I make a lot of mistakes with my couponing efforts and they fix the problem without complaint. They match the long ad and adjust the UP's rewards on the next transaction so that we don't miss out on anything the “big” towns get. Just a heads up for those who miss shopping at the basic Rite Aid store.

      • Cassie

is that the one kinda near downtown? I'm trying to decide which one to go to.

        • meme

Yes, the store is close to downtown – corner of Greenville St and N. Main. If they don’t carry a certain item (they don’t carry the nicer Neutrogena skin care) the store on 28 By-pass does. They also had the Boudreax Butt Paste and the downtown store didn’t carry it. I just love Greenville Street staff. They are wonderful. Dave, the manager is super! Carol is sweet, too. So patient with me.

will rite aid take a catalina from wags

    • luci10

I'm have problems with registering for printable coupons and offers at the Johnson's By Your Side on the J&J website. I've entered my email correctly but it keeps flagging the first entry as invalid information. It is my correct email address. It won't let the registration go through. Have tried on PC and Mac with the same results. Any suggestions how to register?

      -$2 off Playtex PRINTABLE
-$1 off Reach Toothbrush or Floss PRINTABLE

I didn't see the Playtex Q at all .. Is there a special Zip code?? && The Reach website keeps saying Unavailable ?? Thanks!

      • Mommysauls

Okay used a different server and was able to get the reach but still no playtex?

        • pfsinnh

The Playtex should be on there for sure. You're on RedPlum, right? I am having a hard time printing that one on my computer for some reason. Don't you just LOVE computers? :P

          • Mommysauls

thanks , now i have those 2 Q and having a hard time getting any redplum Q to print.. It printed the tampon Q then just stopped. I restarted my computer and everything ! GRR!

    • pfsinnh

      More reports from the field!

Only ONE time $10 UP's reward per card for the Buy$Get$ on the J&J and P&G each. (No surprise there) On the J&J deal, the baby lotion/bath seems to be unlimited UP's now. (I guess they are this week's Biotrue!)

AND…for anyone who wants a SWEET deal on Dulcolax, there is a $8/1 coupon on the Dulcolax website. Dulcolax is not anywhere on the ad this week(I don't think), but the $8 coupon should make the smaller bottle close to FREE. And yes, Rite Aid will accept a coupon over $5.

If you go to a store that doesn't accept the full $8, you can submit your receipt to Dulcolax and they will give you a rebate for the difference. You just have to do it before the end of this month. Hope this helps somebody.

      • Awidener429

I'm looking at the new/current Rite Aid Policy and it clearly states “Rite Aid will accept internet/print at home coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00” so not sure where you got it from but not according to the policy.

        • pfsinnh

I know it says that, but I would still take it with you. Chances are good that the cashier will push it through. If the cashier is squeamish about it, they can give you the “up to $5.00” off and you can save your receipt to get the difference through the MIR.

      • Amy

The Dulcolax just went on sale for $9.99 and get $9.99 in ECB at CVS. Should we hang on to the coupon in case that happens again? This could be a great money maker coupon. What do you all think?

        • pfsinnh

If it were me, I would use the coupon now at CVS to pay for the Dulcolax. Yes! that is a great money maker.

          • pfsinnh

Oh…I see what you mean. I misunderstood. The Dulcolax is not on sale this week…it was on sale a few weeks ago and you're wondering if we should hold it for the next time around.

I would say no. Don't hold onto it and wait for another sale at CVS. Walgreen's has it on sale this week for $6.99, so you can use it over there. You'll get it for free, but I doubt they'll give you the overage on it (this is Walgreen's we're talking about, after all!) But free is good.

    • Tiya

FYI the scenario for the Veet does not add up. The Total OOP will be $11.46 from my calculations.

      • Bnwsmile

It comes out to $5.49 for me… I think she tossed in an extra $4 off of $20 or something… Hope this helps!

      • toni

Yes, it does work out to 6.46. Remember the second Veet and the second Clearasil rings up at 50% off. So: 6.49 + 3.24 + 4.49 + 2.24 = 16.46 minus $10 in coupons = 6.46

        • Saeweardsmith

THe Veets were 10.99 and 5.49 for 2nd!!

      • Saeweardsmith

FYI…the veets at my store were 10.99 and the 2nd 5.49. I did it this morning, bought 4(32.97) used 4 $3.00 Q's. If I had know the correct price…this tranx would have been different for me but I got confused! It happens…I also had 3 trident and RA baby wipes on this one. Total OOP was $20.80 with tax. Got back $11 UP

        • Tiya

I think she has already halved the clearasil because they are normally $8.99 so she took those as the lesser price items. If this is what you get at your store then let me know. TIA!

    • Bnwsmile

Can't find the $1 off Garnier Fructis Store coupon… help pls :)

      • Bnwsmile

Mine has a $3 off of the Sleek and Shine… instead maybe?

    • Tara

I have a small dilemma. I had to have abdominal surgery a few weeks back and wasn’t able to get out and about for my deals. I had been working on the $20 rebate for Olay products when you spend $50. Prior to my surgery, I had already spent $31.28, but when I returned to the rebate form, I was disappointed to see the “purchase by” date ended. Rebates have to be post marked by the 17th, so I
was wondering if anyone, by some chance, has any receipts dated from 7/23-9/3 for Olay facial moisturizer, facial skin treatment or facial cleanser. I only need $18.72 more for the rebate. I would be happy to exchange coupons for help in meeting the rebate requirements. You may have already seen my post in the coupon trading forum, but I didn’t have much luck there. I appreciate any help I can get. My email address is taradiane99@yahoo.com. Thank you!!!

      • meme

I'm so sorry this happened to you, Tara. But guess what — the same thing happened to me. I thought it was 9/3 and forced myself to get to the store to finish up the rebate. I went to fill out my rebate form the next day and to my disappointment, I had shopped on 9/4!! So I missed out, too. I decided to get another P&G rebate and send it to my daughter to help her out. Hope it helps to know you weren't the only one. Hope you are healing well.

    • toni

Just bought Pampers Cruisers and Pampers Baby Dry diapers in same transaction and got 10, 5 and 5 plus ups. Also, 19.99 is the regular price, so if you get 10% discount, they are only 17.99 or 15.99 for those out there that already have the 20% discount.

    • Mommysauls

OK? anyone else having problems with RedPlum?? I always print from there and these past 2 days it will act like its going to print and the bar looks like it loading but it does nothing !! Everything else is still printing from my computer?? Any Ideas? thanks

      • tina

that happened to me too Saturday night. I was really upset. I couldnt print 3 coupons I needed.

    • Rchaputjr

I dont have a $3 off Garnier in my RP this week. Anyone else with this problem??

      • sww

yes, no garnier or maybelline for me, had to re-work some things :(

        • Bnwsmile

I had to print mine online. If you don't see it try zipcode 36115.

    • julies

I did the $30 Johnson & Johnson deal for $10 up this morning and bought 6 J&J baby lotion's and washes and not only did I get the $10 UP, I got a $2 up for EACH J&J baby lotion/wash/desitin…so I got $22 in UP's from my transaction that after coupons and VV coupons, cost me .93 cents WAHOO!!

    • Rosy

      Rite Aid Return Policy question????
I went to Rite Aid and bought Viva Paper Towels. They were 12.99 (ouch). I had 4 up rewards and 2.00 worth of manf coupons. Well I paid 7. something out of pocket. I went across the street to Publix where the exact same Viva Towels were 5.99 without coupons. I went back to return it and she said she could only return to me what I paid out of pocket. WAS SHE RIGHT???

      • They should've given you your coupons back and your up rewards!

        • Rosy

I didn't get my coupons or my rewards back. Which was my point with her. They get the product back, my coupons and my up rewards so I lost out.. :(
This is the same lady who told me that my 10/ 30 back from the AirWick deal did not print out because I used coupons. …. so I am getting good deals but not as good as ya'll cause my clerks suck! :P

          • akellyinva

yep. except even if she'd given you your UP rewards back, you couldn't use them because they've been scanned. that was my issue with my cashier last week when I returned the airwick on the spot when no $10 UP printed. i was cordial up until she said 'no, that's the way the system is' meaning I'd just lost my $5/$25 and my $2 UPs. call customer service about your UPs. they MIGHT be nice and send them back via mail. last week, tho, my cashier finally entered the 2 I had manually so i didn't lose them after all was said and done.

      • aczek16

no, actually she was. people will buy products like that and use lets say 6 dollars in coupons, then return it the next day and technically earn 6 dollars, since its in cash. i know you didnt have those intentions, but it happens. the same thing has happened to me before. wish you luck!

      • Aminehdestin

Actually, she was following policy. Coupon policy says that any item bought with coupons will be returned minus the face value of the coupon or coupons used. It’s due to 2 things. 1st, it’s due to the wording on the coupons that says “cannot be transferred” etc. or whatever for cash. Giving you the cash value back would be purchasing them from you which is technically against most if not all state laws. She can’t give them back without her drawer being off the coupons at the end. Those coupons have to be accounted for at the end of each week. The +Ups are also man. coupons so this applies there as well, but they couldn’t be used again anyway because they’re void after being used. I’ve been warning customers to be careful when using them, because once they’re used, they’re used.

The +Ups are also man. coupons so this applies there as well, but they couldn’t be used again anyway because they’re void after being used. i got MULTIPLE UPS for both the J&J baby stuff (bought 4, $2 UP+ per item) and the listerine pocket packs and reach tooth brushes (bought 4, got $2 UP+ each)! this makes these items all free (or nearly free) with coupons. plus they count for the J&J $10 UP/$30 purchase. happy shopping!

      • Lori

I bought 4 of the reach toothbrushes, and received 3 of the UPs. Makes me wonder if the UPs are based upon product?

    • Tiya

Has anyone in the short ad area had any luck trying the Johnson and Johnson $10 up deal? Please let me know

      • Tiya

I went to the Rite Aid on Greenville St and the $10 ups did print for the J&J deal. My oop was $9.xx and I received $26 in UPS. I was shocked to get $2 for each of the 8 J&J and desitin products I got. This was a great trip:-)

        • Tiya

Nice deals! You are also 5 cents away from getting a $5 gift card for the oral care purchases, too. :P

        • Saeweardsmith

WooHoo!!! Thats what I love about Rite Aid!!! Its a surprise sometimes!!! I cant keep up with all of the rebates!!! Thanks!

    • Keyrahollmer

Does anyone know where to get the rite aid clip and save booklet? I asked at the store and they did not know what I was talking about? help..

      • sww

i asked my store two weeks ago, and they looked at me like i was crazy. tried again today (ask about the “flu shot coupon book”, they are supposed to be given out with flu shots) and she found one for me (gave it to me). if your store doesn't do flu shots they may not have them. HTH!

      • Daniel

In the pharmacy, to be given to flu shot customers. the hoover alabama store has them

    • pfsinnh

Wow…just returned from doing the P&G deal on the front page of the ad. I feel bad for the manager because the $10 UP's didn't print out for me, but at least we found out why.
If you buy the Oral B toothbrush in the deal, make sure you buy the 3D White toothbrushes or the $10 UP's won't print.

Here's what I ended up buying:
      (1) Pampers Big Pack $15.99 after my 20% discount
      (4) 3D White Crest 4oz @ $2.99 each
      (2) 3D White Oral B toothbrushes @ $2.99 each
$1/1 coupons for each of the items I bought P&G 8/29
      $5 UP's

I paid $17.18 OOP and got back $10 UP's for the deal, $5 UP's for Pampers, (3) $1.50 UP's for the toothpaste, $2 SCR for the toothpaste, and will get a $10 GC for oral care (when I add this receipt to the other oral care receipts in my SCR account) you would still qualify for $5 GC based on this amount, though.

So I made $14.32 on that transaction.

The manager that helped me sort through the problem said that the computer system can't keep up with the changes the company throws at it each week. They are going to have to upgrade to a system that can handle the changes. (His words, not mine)

    • Ougirl822

Just got back from my RA today and was shocked at the UP's back!!!! Here is what I got:

      (2) Veet @ 6.49
      (2) Clearsil @ 5.49 (these were B1G1 50%)
      (2) Reach Toothbrushes @ 2.99 (had BOGO coupon)
      (1) Listerine Pocketpacks @ 2.99
      (2) Febreze Candles @ 4.99
      Total: $36.91

      (2) $3 off Veet
      (2) $2 off Clearsil
      (1) $1 off Reach + BOGO + $1 off Reach (Rite Aid Sept VV)
      (1) .50 Listerine Pocketpaks + $ 1 off Listerine (Rite Aid Sept VV)
      (2) $2 off Febreze Candles
      10 UP (from last week)
= 3.51 OOP (mainly for tax)
AND I got 18 UP back from all of this!!!!

    • Thanks, Jenny!!

I did not get ANY up rewards for my Tylenol Precise Heat Patch (I bought Four!).
      This is what I got:

      (2) Reach Toothbrush @ $2.99
      (2) Johnsons Baby Product @ $3.99
      (4) Precise Heat Patch @ $5
$1 for ea. J&J and Reach
      $2 for ea. Precise
      $14 UP's
      Tax = $0.45
      OOP: $3.41
      UP+= $18 ($4 J&J, $4 Reach, $10 for spending $30)

I still came out with a $0.59 profit ($3.41+$14UPs used – $18UPs earned), but VERY disappointed not to have received at least ONE of the $5 Tylenol UPs (I only bought them for profit)

Can I do the Transaction again and do all Johnson Baby Products for a profit OR is the $10 off $30 deal only good once??

      • pfsinnh

Something similar happened to me this morning when I did the P&G deal. My $10 UP wouldn't print at first. I decided to have the manager “return” all the items and do the transaction all over again, because it was a large amount at stake.

You can do this if you'd like. (I would, personally) It will take a while to do this, but you should have everything resolved when you leave. I am so annoyed that the computer system is so screwed up! It seems like they fix all these problems just as the week is finishing up, and then bam!, another set of screw ups the following week.

      • sww

i don't think the tylenol products have any UPs associated with them, other than being a part of the J&J $10/$30 :( it says there is a limit of one J&J deal, but it seems like many of the other rewards are going past their “limit 1” claim. i'd be curious too if anyone has had any luck with more than one J&J $10 UP?

      • Davisla1

The Tylenol Precise deal with ECB is at CVS this week. There are no +UP deals for the product at Rite Aid. They are on sale for $5. HTH.

      • Lori

There is no UPs associated with Tylenol Precise at Rite Aid this week!

    • Aly

My paper today did not have an ad for the Garnier Hair Color, or any Garnier for that matter. Are the $128 coupon booklets in every store? Because this will ruin my whole scenario for the week if I can't come up with a coupon for the hair color. Also, there is a printable above for Nutrisse Shade, Multi-Lights Kit or 100% Color. Are these also at the 5.99 price?

      • Sandy

Some stores are only giving the $128 booklets with the flu shot, and it seems like not every store got them (or they're sitting in the back in a box unopened).

My inserts were missing a lot of Qs so you might have to look on ebay or a coupon clipping service for garnier products. good luck.

      • LRae17

My store (in Columbia, SC) told me yesterday that the $128 booklets are now kept at the pharmacy. She didn't say I had to buy anything to get the booklet. The pharmacy was closed at the time I was there, so we'll see if there's any problem when I go back to pick one up.

Also, in reference to Sandy's reply about ways to get the Garnier's Qs, you can try Coupon Traders (see link all the way at the bottom of this page).

    • Bnwsmile

Looks like the trident UPs are unlimited. I bought 2 'deals' and got back 2 $1 UPs :D I bought them to use a $5 off $25 purchase w/ the clearsil and Veet. The clearasil was $5.49 @ my store and they were OUT of Suave shampoo :( I had bought hairspray instead and my coupon still worked.

    • Maggie

Help! just back from RiteAid. hoping to get the J&J deal 10 up for spending 30…bought 6 reach total care toothbrushes. two listerine Total care and one 15oz j&j baby wash….did not get 10up

      • Smartblonde

First, I would check to make sure the sale is going on in your area (some short ad areas don't have this deal). If you're good… then I'd check to make sure everything rang up the correct price (if something ran up differently you grabbed the wrong product), Last, I'd check to make sure you bought the right sizes.

Or you can just call Customer Service tomorrow give them your receipt info and they'll probably mail you the Up Reward :)

      • toni

Check your toothbrushes. There was the Reach total care and then there were other Reach total care massage, etc. The ad only listed the Reach Total Care as counting toward the $30.

      • Misty

It looks like you only purchased $27.91 and not $30. If you purchased 6 toothbrushes at $2.99, 2 listerines at $2.99 and one baby wash at $3.99 then you didn't quite reach $30.

        • Misty

I was thinking of the listerine pocketpacks not the total care, sorry. If you bought the total care that was $4.99 then it would have put you over $30 and worked. In your case, I'm not sure. I did the deal with 5 baby products, 2 toothbrushes and 2 pocketpacks and I got the $10. I have had problems in the past with the ups not printing and I just call 1-800-riteaid and they mail me the ups, no questions asked. They are very quick to arrive in the mail too. Good luck!

    • Bnwsmile

      My purchase:

      2 reach toothbrushes
      6 packs of Trident Gum
      1 Garnier hair color
      4 garnier shampoo
      2 Veet
      2 Clearasil
      2 suave hair spray
      2 dove chocolate bars
      1 Playtex Tampons
1 Johnson and Johnson Baby bath
      1 Crest Toothpaste

My total out of pocket was about $12 however I have $10.50 UPs rewards left over as well as some SCRs AND don't forget to get the glam bags!!!!

Excited to see how much I made/saved from this purchase!

      • Bnwsmile

Also, I didn't have a b1g1 for the tooth brushes but we needed them anyway. And some prices were more expensive than listed on SS so it altered my final price. I did sneak in a $5 off of $25 for the clearasil and the veet though. :D

      • Bnwsmile

I MADE $1.50 from this deal AND I’ll get a glam bag :) Super excited. I just hope they get in some baby formula soon so I can get that $10 rebate!!! I have coupons for FREE formula so FREE $10 is A – OK w/ me!

    • Lori

How about BEING PAID $0.31 for 2 large boxes of diapers, plus a bunch of other stuff?

When I first looked at the Rite Aid ads, I thought there would be nothing here that I would like this week. Then I started reading what people were posting on the J&J and P&G $30 sales. Then I started reading how people were getting multiple UPs for Pampers and Reach toothbrushes.

The Pampers qualifies for the PG coupon book rebate, and the toothbrushes and listerine qualify for the Rite Aid Oral Care rebate.

The Pampers is supposed to be marked at $19.99 for this sale, but for some reason the computer automatically discounted them to $17.99.

The computer also automatically discounted the newspapers by 10% because of my Wellness card. Something important to remember! (Maybe the Pampers is normally priced at $19.99, and the computer took a 10% discount off due to the Wellness card?)

      4 Reach Toothbrushes @ $2.99 each

      1 Listerine @ $4.99

      1 J&J Baby Bubble Bath @ $3.99

      1 Precise Heat Patch @ $5.00

      1 Precise Heat Cream @ $5.00

      2 newspapers @ $2.25 (combined)

      $5/25 Rite Aid Coupon

      2 – BOGO Reach Toothbrush

      2 – $1/1 Reach Toothbrush

      1 – $1/1 Reach ad perk

      1 – $1/1 Listerine

      1 – $1/1 Listerin ad perk

      1 – $1/1 J&J baby product

      1 – $1/1 J&J baby product ad perk

      1 – $5/2 Tylenol precise

      1 – $1/10 Oral Care UP

      3 – $2 Toothbrush UP

      1 – $2 baby care UP

      1 – $10 J&J mixed UP

      OOP – $9.21

      UP – $18.00

      2 Pampers Big Pack – $17.99 each

      1 – $5/25 Rite Aid coupon

      1 – $1.50/1 Pampers (from a Cheerios box)

      1 – $1/1 Pampers

      2 – $5 Pampers UP

      1 – $10 PG mixed UP

      1 – $18 UP from trans #1

      OOP – $10.48

      UP – $20.00

      Grand Total

      OOP $19.69

      Remaining UP – $20

I had $15 in UPs remaining from last week, plus numerous gift cards from previous rebates, so my actual OOP was $0.00! Yea!

      • pfsinnh

Yes, your wellness card discounted your Pampers by 10%. I am so mad, though! I want to do your scenario on the J&J deal, but something is wrong with my printer and I can't print half the Q's. I have a whole bunch of those J&J $1/1 baby products that expire today, too! :(

      • New2Qs

Do you know if by using riteaid coupons and man. coupons that would bring total below $30, would the 10+ Up still print out? I can't seem to find a straight answer on this.

        • Lori

Yep. My total after coupons was well below $30, and all my UPs printed. I heart Rite Aid!

          • New2Qs

Thanks for the info! I can shop with confidence today (and just ignore my grouchy cashier) : )

    • LRae17

I was charged twice for an item I only bought once last week. When I went back last night, they were really kind to credit me the amount even though there was no way I could prove to them I only bought one. They believed me! The only problem is that they kept my receipt and I didn't think about it at the time, but I hadn't entered my SCRs for the week! Yikes! Hope they had to save it for their records and I can get it back today!

      • Kristen_DH

If you cannot get your original receipt they have it all on the computer. If you know about what time you shopped they can look it up in the computer and print you out a copy.

    • Alyssa

      Just got bask from RiteAid

      In 4 transactions:

      I bought…

      2 playtex gentleglide

      6 trident gum

      2 Suave Lotion

      OOP- 2.23

      UP's Remaining- 4.00

BUT they didn't take my 1.00/2 Suave Lotion MQ I got from Walgreens because it printed at Walgreens… Never Heard that before! But he was still nice… If they took the Q it only would have been 1.23 OOP (Basically the tax)

      Still a great week!

The best part was before I left the manager says.. “See you next week” ~~~~ I Love It!!

    • Maggie

will the J&J spend 30 get 10+up print a single 10$up….also do all the items have to be purchased in a single transaction or does it track like cvs ECB

      • barbara

must be all in one transaction. You will get the $10 plus any other UPs listed if those are the products you use to reach $30.

        • Phoenixphyre763

Am I reading this right? The listerine pocketpacks/ reach are unlimited ups? I think Im seeing that you can get your thirty dollars worth of j&J with the these items, get 10 ups and however many ups come with each single item? Or am I missing something? Thanks for taking mercy on a brand new southern saver in Columbus, GA. ; )

        • Maggie

Thank You Barbara….made an error in my purchase and only bought26$ and change…live and learn :(

          • Shelley

It worked for me in two transactions. I did my math wrong and tried to pick up something and the second transaction and my $10 UPs printed :)

    • Starr

Tell me what you guys think. I have the short ad so mine doesn't say anything about the J&J baby stuff being in the buy $30 get $10 UP. Should I dare try it to see if the UP rewards will print? Plus, if I buy in all one transaction it should bring a $2 UP for each product right? Thanks in advance!

      • Sandy

I live in the short ad area– tried it and it works. Did a happy dance afterward and then bought diapers!

        • Starr

So you got the $10, but did you also get $2 for each J&J product? I'm almost too nervous to try it! If it don't work I don't know if I want to do it. Oh what to do….

          • Sandy

            I purchased 6 various J&J products and 3 Reach. Received 6 $2 Johnson Ups, 3 $2 Reach Ups, 1 $10 J&J Up, and an extremely long receipt!

      • Christine

Starr, I tried it today and it didn't work. I bought a box of diapers, 2 J&J baby products, and a Reach toothbrush. I got smaller +UPs, but not the $10. I did another transaction with 1 box of diapers, I Pantene, and 3 Crest 3D from the front page and it worked. I am in Montgomery, AL. Some of the things Jenny has listed are not included in my ad and they don't work at the store I go to. The good news is, the supervisor told me today that we will all start getting long ads in a few weeks. Yay!

    • tracy

I purchased Omeprazole (generic Prilosec) on sale for 14.99 with in ad -5.00 coupon. Which was a good deal alone, but when I opened the box there was a “Free Money Movie Ticket”. I went online entered the code and received a certificate for a free movie up to 12.00. Great deal!!!! Check it out.

      • tracy

The Omeprazole was the 2 count.

        • tracy

          Sorry 42 count

    • Couponkat

Rite Aid today…. Purchased 12pk sam adams 13.49…(2) suave lotions 18oz (2) Nutrisse Hair Dye (2) Garnier sham/cond (1) J&J baby bubble bath 15oz………….. Paid $16.91 total. …Used $24 in coupons and got $9 in up rewards :)

    • Christie

My head is absolutely spinning with scenarios right now. I just pray that my Rite Aid still has everything I want when I go tomorrow. ; )

    • glammyyams

has anyone gotten double Ups rewards on any food items?

      • Susan

I got the spaghettios $1 yesterday.

    • pfsinnh

There is a Rite Aid $5/$25 pdf coupon on One Frugal Chick (dotcom) that expires on 9/30. Scroll halfway down the homepage. It's on her September 10 post.

      • Jenni

Is there any way to check on the validity of this? PDF's have a notorious habit of being fraudulent. Or misused. The last PDF that was available for Rite Aid was legit, but only supposed to be used once, but many people printed it multiple times, and used it multiple times…

It may be that this one is legit, but now that there is the wellness+ program, they are able to track whether this coupon has been used before… Just some cautionary thoughts for those who like keep their money -and- their conscience.

        • Jenni

pfsinnh – I'm not saying YOU are a person who doesn't care, btw.

          • pfsinnh

lol! I know what you mean. :) Yes, the same thought crossed my mind when I found the coupon on her website. All I know is that she is a legit source with a very large following much like Jenny.

I would just print the Q once and use it once. I am going to print it off and bring it down to my local RA this afternoon. If there is any problem with it I will report back.

            • Jenni

I am planning on going in tonight once my hubby is home and can watch our 3 young'ns. I did print this coupon, and I will test it, too. They do seem similar to some legit coupons that were out a while ago. I've never used this one before, and I'm on really good terms with my local Rite Aid staff, so I know I'll get the inside scoop if there is one to be had.

        • Aminehdestin

I’m always iffy on PDF coupons. I can’t get an answer from anyone who would know, but I can’t imagine the company just putting coupons out that can be printed and used over and over again. I do want to know where they come from though. They almost always scan though, so they are in the system. It’s just confusing to me.

    • momof3

Does anyone know how to print a Gillette fusion ProGlide coupon? I want to do the $30 P & G products with $10 UP reward, but don't want to pay full price for the razors!

      • Christine

If you find out, let me know. I've tried the coupon database and there is nothing.

      • patty

usually only p&g will send out coupons for their products or find them in the newspaper whenever there is a P&G insert in there. But you wont find them online.

      • Amy B.

P&G doesn't authorize printable coupons at all, so you will never find one online :(

Big problems at Rite Aid yesterday, First, they wanted to know if my coupons were copied instead of printed. Second they told me that I could only use one coupon per purchase (transaction). Has anyone had this kind of problem? This is a first for me at Rite Aid. You could expect that from WG. Anyhow after the mgr made a call, they rung all my purchases and used all my coupons.

      • Jenni

You could be one of the first couponers they encountered. When I first started couponing at my small town Rite Aid, I scared all the cashiers, because it was unfamiliar to them. Now, however, they all know me by name, and are nearly all of them comfortable with couponers, even friendly to it.

    • Mom2kaitlin

Would love to know if you can get the $10 ups for $30 in P & G twice. Has anyone tried it??

      • Valerie

Some people have gotten it twice, others have not. It's very weird as many people are doing the exact same transactions– the guess is it varies by region or maybe even store.

    • glammyyams

sigh, ok, does the $10 off $30 deal include items listed on page 1 and page 8 of the ad? i noticed there are two sections listed for the deal with different items. i just went yesterday and did the transaction one from jenni's example and changed it slightly for the coupons i had. still got a good deal but now i am looking at the diapers! has anyone in the atlanta, canton, woodstock,ga area gotten two of the 5 Ups for getting two pampers packs?

      • Wisteriasaver

I went last night to a Rite Aid in the Smyrna/ Vinnings area and bought two boxes of Pampers and received (2) $5 +up rewards and (1) $10 +up rewards. With my ups from the J&J deal, paid $.98 plus $1.50 in tax. Pretty sweet deal! I was going to go back today and do the whole thing over again, but didn't know if I could use an +up reward for the J&J on the J&J deal. Anyone know? I'm using a different reward card for the second set of transactions.

        • Wisteriasaver

          Ooops…I meant Vinings…you locals know what I meant. : )

        • mell

You can use your UP Rewards on almost anything, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

        • Dianne

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking, but I have been told by my RiteAid managers/cashiers that the +up rewards are tied to you card, so you could only use +up rewards on future purchases on the same wellness card. Just like ECBs can only be used with the CVS card attached to them.

          • Wisteriasaver

Dianne – I have two Rite Aid Wellness cards. So, I would use the second card to repeat my two transactions from yesterday on this other card. Since this is the first deal of this sort and would be the first transaction on this new card, Mell's comment below would apply. Let me try to better explain what I mean. I was at the counter yesterday using card #1 and tried to use a $2 +up reward I received from a purchase using card #2. The register beeped and said that the coupon had already been redeemed. I was confused. The cashier suggested that perhaps I had grabbed the coupon back off the counter from a previous transaction in error. She gave me the coupon back. I again tried to use it during another transaction and the same thing happened. I told the cashier (a new one) that I must have grabbed it off the counter before in error and told him to keep it. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I relinquished $2 because of a simple confusion! So, what I'm hoping is that I can use card #2 and redeem +up rewards that I received from using card #1. Clear as mud, right?

            • Susan

Not true–I have 3 cards–I earned my 20 percent off and my mom and sister both got cards mailed from RA with 20% off level pre-loaded, so I swiped the cards from them. I use the UPs I earn on one card on the other 2 cards all the time and never have a problem. Just did so today. Rolled the J&J ups into the same deal on my second card. Your card may have beeped because, if you ever hand over an Up to buy something but are below your subtotal (for instance, you hand over a $2 up, but your total before tax is only $1.95) that Up will never scan again. (This is stupid, yes.) So, if the cashier hands it back to you to tell you to use it later, next time it will beep “already used” when you try to redeem it. It's so stupid, though, because why would you have an Up reward in your hand to use if you had already used it, and the cashier had put it in the drawer?!?!?!

            • Wisteriasaver

Susan – You're my kind of girl – 3 cards – awesome! That's probably what happened with the $2 ups I lost. Your explanation makes me feel better about leaving that $2 at the register. Great to know that the +ups are not tied to any particular card like ECBs are at CVS.

For anyone interested, below are my transactions:

              T #1:
9 J&J baby products (including lotion, wash, shampoo, and Desitin) @ 3.99/ea
              – (1) $5/$25 RA q
              – (3) $1/1 VV J&J q
              – (3) $3/3 J&J mq
              – $15 +up rewards (P&G bonus from a Olay deal a couple of weeks ago)
              = $5.49 ($1.84 of which is tax)
              Got (1) $10 +UP (J&J mix) plus (9) $2 +UP = $28 +UP

              T #2:
2 Pampers Cruisers @ $17.99/ ea (10% discount applied automatically)
              – (1) $5/$25 RA q
              – (2) $1/1 Pampers q (P&G saver 8/29)
              – $28 +up rewards from T #1
              = $2.54 ($1.56 was tax…amazing; that's $.98 subtotal for two boxes!)
              Got (1) $10 +UP (P&G bonus) plus (2) $5 +UP = $20 +UP

            • Becky

Is the 10% discount for everyone with a wellness card or do you have to earn that somehow? I have shopped at Rite Aid before, but am pretty new to the wellness/UP stuff. Thanks!

            • pfsinnh

The 10% discount everyday is earned when you get to 500 points (spend $500 in merchandise, prescriptions are 25 points per fill).

    • Caritob40

      I a sorry…what is the zip code to get the $5 off$25??….tnx

      • mell

I use 43667 to get it.

    • Shellybelly1014

For the Pampers $5 UPs, do you have to buy a specific type? I bought a big pack of Pampers Baby dry and didn't get the $5 in UPs. Thanks!

      • mell

Did you buy the big box at $19.99? Those are the ones that qualify.

        • mell

I use 43667 to get it.

          • mell

            sorry wrong post lol

        • Shellybelly1014

yes, I bought the big box @ $19.99

          • Sandy

It should have printed an Up. Baby dry, Swaddlers, cruisers are all included in the deal. Was your wellness card scanned? I'd go back to the store and exchange it– maybe it had a funny upc. People are reporting that when they exchanged the wrong product for the right one Ups would print. Or you could contact Rite Aid customer service and usually mail you the Up.

          • Johnandleah

Are you in N Alabama by any chance? I can't access our circular on the Rite Aid site and I don't have a copy of the ad, but I'm thinking when I looked at our regions ad on Sunday we didn't have this awesome P&G deal.. I could be wrong.. hoping to make it to my Rite Aid tonight to check and see.

    • Rnhwall

can't find 5 off 25 coupon, where can you print it??

    • Pam

Not sure if anyone else posted this, but I was able to get 2 of the $3UP rewards on the Playtex deal today. 2 must be the limit, because I actually bought 4 bxs in my 1st transaction & 2 bxs in a second transaction but only got the 2-$3 UPs on the 1st transaction. Still VERY happy with my end result today:

      1st transaction:

      4 bxs. Playtex tampons

      2 bottles Suave lotion

used $4/$20 q; 4-$2q's for the tampons; 2-$1q's for the lotion; and $1UP from a previous week

      OOP – $5.96

      Got back $8UPs

      2nd transaction:

      2-Garnier shampoos

      2-Garnier conditioners

      1-Garnier mousse

      1-Garnier hairspray

      2-Playtex tampons

used $5/$25q; 6-$1q's for the Garnier; 2-$2 q's for the tampons; & $8 UPs from the previous transaction

      OOP – $4.22

      Got back $5 UPs

Does anyone know if the Garnier UPs deal is printing more than once?

      • Fgavent

I also received 2 of the $3 UP rewards on the Playtex tampons. I did mine in separate transactions so I could use the $3 UP reward in the second transaction (along with a few fillers to make my total $3).

Has anyone received three? I was going to try it again Wednesday.

        • pfsinnh

Don't go for a third time. The limit is definitely 2. :)

          • Fgavent

Thanks for telling me. Does anyone know the limit on Scott tiolet paper UP reward?

    • Christie

Fantastic day at Rite Aid today! Here's what I did:
      Transaction 1:
      2 Reach Total Care toothbrushes
      1 box of Playtex tampons
Used: B1G1 Reach Q, $1.00 off Reach man Q, $1.00 off Reach ad perk Q, $2.00 off Playtex, 1 +up from last week
      OOP= $1.99 + tax
Got back $7+ups (very excited about this since I wasn't expecting to get back more than $5+ups)

      Transaction 2:
      2 Oral B 3D white toothbrushes
2 tubes of Crest 3D white toothpaste
      1 big pack box Pampers
      Used $5 off $25, $7 +ups from transaction 1, B1G1 Q on toothbrushes, $1.00 off man Q on Crest, $.75 off man Q on Crest, $1 off $10 oral care RA Q, $2.00 off Pampers
      OOP= $12.21 + tax
Got back $19.50 +ups; will get $2 scr (well on my way to a $10 gift card for the oral care program) (Again, very excited that I got 3 separate $1.50+ups for the Crest and Oral B products. That was a total surprise!)
Now I'm all set for the Arm & Hammer deal next week since I need cat litter! : ) I love Rite Aid and Southern Savers!

      • Aminehdestin

Just a heads up, try calling your store and asking if they can order extra cat litter, we ran out last week and gave out so many rain checks. If we didn't get the order on this truck though, we're going to start the sell next week out of stock.

    • Aviennamom

There are $2.00 mfg.q on tear pads for the Mucinex that don't expire until 8-1-11, you can combine that with the $1.00 store.q off of any cold & allergy (store q found by signing on wellness+ not ad perks) goes great with the $1.50 store.q found on ad perks.

      2 for 22

      7 +up

      (2) mfg.q $2.00

      (1) $1.50 ad perks.q

      (1) $1.00 wellness+q

      TOTAL $8.50 for 2 boxes

Need your help. I am on the wellness portion of the website and cannot figure out where to obtain the wellness coupon. can you direct me, the savings area is not including a coupon for cold and allergy–$1. off back packs. where should I look? ~tks.

        • Leah L.

I believe they are ones that are emailed once a week usually on Sundays. Make sure you have an email address linked to your wellness account.

    • Jenni

Okay, I know that hardly anyone else coupons at my Rite Aid, and none for diapers, and that a truck is due in later this week… so I am going to TRY and see if I can do the P&G/Pampers deal twice tonight. I'll update to let everyone know if it works!

      • Jenni

Okay, they didn't have enough of the size I needed to do a 2nd transaction, but the first one worked perfectly! I bought 2 boxes of Pampers Baby Dry, they were 17.99 thanks my having reached the silver level (Liking THAT a LOT!), I had 2.50 in Manu coups, a 5 off 25, and $6 in UPs (all profit) from last week. That brought it down to $24 and change. I paid, and sure enough, I got TWO Pampers $5 UPs and 1 P&G mixed $10 UP. So I got 2 BOXES of Pampers (120 diapers in all) for about 4 and half dollars! WOOHOO! PLUS, this purchase counts towards the P&G coupon book rebate!

The store's truck comes in tomorrow, so hopefully they will get more of the size I need (they had plenty of all the others), and I will be able to test if this deal can be done a second time. Anyone else been able to do it a second time?

        • Jenni

Just to follow up: I did do this deal a second time (even found some better value coupons from a mailer I’d forgotten I’d received), and the 2 $5 UPs DID print again! The 1 $10 UP did NOT, though. Still a great deal!

    • Amanda Yoder10

does anyone know if you can mix and match the 2 different $10 +up rewards when u buy $30 worth of products. i want to buy 2 boxes of pampers and some J&J products. was going to buy one box of pampers and some of the J&J in one transaction and then just repeat the transaction. wanted to do 2 diffferent transactions so i could use 2 $5 off of $25. any suggestions

      • Thanks, Jenny!!

I miscalculated and was a couple of bucks short for the P&G deal yesterday. Today I just bought an additional 3D white toothpaste, and my $10 printed on that receipt (because it pushed me over the $30 mark from yesterdays trxn).

I have done the J&J deal three times now. I have gotten the $2 UPs on ALL the Baby Products every time and the $10 every time I've spent $30. It seems for me that it has not had to be in one transaction. Hope it works that way for you too!

However, you must have $30 in P&G AND $30 in J&J to receive $10 back for each in the end.

        • becky

Are you able to “roll” your up rewards like CVS ECBs? For example, if I did the J&J deal and received 10 UP and 2 UP for each J&J item, could I roll those UPs to pay for another J&J deal and have more UPs print for that transaction?

          • Jenni

I'm hesitant to try rolling these, so what I plan to do is use my P&G UPs ($20 worth) to pay for my J&J transaction, and then plan on doing a 2nd P&G transaction using my J&J UPs. This is such an incredible week!

          • Susan

            you can–it works

    • Aminehdestin

Wow, all of these great deals, I made an honest attempt at trying to get extra product ordered in time for truck, and I won't know if it worked or not because I expect I'll be back on leave for a couple of weeks. I hope you all continue to have the realtively easy time it seems this week has been. I won't be able to check back much until I get my foot fixed -either surgery or a cast- but I will check at the end of the week at least to see what's good for next week.

      • Jenni

Sorry to hear about your foot, Aminehdestin! I'm saying a prayer for a fast and complete recovery.

        • pfsinnh

          • Aminehdestin

            Thank you both.

    • VanessaCook

Wondering if anyone knows for sure how many up+ you can get from buying the Reach toothbrushes??? Would this work…

      Buy: 11 Reach toothbrushes @ $2.99 each ($32.89 total)

      Use: $5/$25

      Get: $2 up+ each ($22up+ total) and the $10 up+ for spending $30 J&J products

      =$4.11 profit???

Also, can you get more than one J&J $10up+…what is the “real” limit? What is the limit on the crest toothpaste/toothbrushes?

Thank you in advance for any help. I am trying to stock up for our church food pantry.

      • Val

The Reach limit is only 3.

The J&J limit is 3 (although some people it only worked for them once)

        Crest is 3

The Johnson and Johnson body washes seem to be unlimited

      • Vwbug215

The know the reach limit is higher then 3 b/c I purchased 4 today and got 4 $2 Up + today

      • germangirl

Hi Vanessa, wish it would work like that but I think you can only get one up reward per transaction. In the add it says limit 1 offer per household.
I think that means you only get your up reward once for each item you buy. Since you have to scan your rewards card I don't even know if you can do more than one transaction and get the J&J $10up+ each time.
I did do it last week on the Air Wick i-motion though and got 6 $10up+ rewards but i also never saw a limit like know. The cashier did tell me that they might change the rules. You better ask the manager.
Who know maybe I'm wrong and I wouldn't even mind.:) Good luck!

        • germangirl

Just read Kb's entry. Guess I was wrong. She/he did it twice almost the way you want to do it. So go ahead and try it. I think I will too. ;)

    • Candibell76

where do you get the Rite Aid $128 coupon booklet?

      • millie

my rite aid told me that only the georgia stores had them.

        • Awidener429

I work in a SC store and we got them so it is not just GA. It is SOME of the stores that are giving out flu shots, but for some reason not all.

    • Awidener429

Not sure if any other stores have it but my Rite Aid store has FREE razors in the Playtex box. Did a couple of transactions yesterday and got 2 boxes of Playtexs and 2 razors for FREE . What a great deal. I also went to another store and they didn't have this so check for the bouns packs.

      • Relaxwithdiane

        i found that too….awesome suprise!

      • Jenni

I will look for these! Thanks for the tip!

    • Dreama Beaty

rite aid coupon booklet is for flu shot customers :)

    • Kb

someone has probably already mentioned this…but I was at riteaid yesterday and picked up 8 j & j baby washes at 3.99 each. total was $34.79.

      used 1 -$5 off $25

      used 8 -$1 off j & j

      paid 21.79

got back $26 in UP rewards!!!

      I did this twice.

      • becca

what kind of baby washes did you purchase? my store did not have any of these marked as part of the sale and i wasn't sure if they worked or not….

      • Susan

I did this yesterday but had to buy 9 because I'm at the 20 percent off level, so my j&j's were only $3.59 each. I got $28 in ups.

      • julies

did you miss the $1 J&J VV?? more savings :)

      • SavingInKY

Thanks so much for spelling that one out so easily for those of us who are a little slow at this!! I did this today and it worked great!! Really needed the stuff too!!

    • Brittney

I am wanting to do the J&J deal but was wondering… If I buy 2 listerine pocket packs, 2 baby washes, 1 desitin, & 6 band aids @ b1g50% off, will I get the $10, $3 for each baby item, and $2 for each of the listerine packs? If so, this would be a great deal for me!

      • Susan

yes–as long as your subtotal is over $30–I don't know the prices of each item to be able to add it up to check your numbers.

      • mell

it's only $2 UP for the Johnson baby stuff. But I went today and got 5 of them and got the UP rewards for all of them!

    • Becca

Does anyone know what baby products are included in the Johnson & Johnsons deal? My store only had a few things marked- baby shampoo (yellow bottle), bedtime lotion and wash, a few lotions, and the head to toe wash. I was hoping for some of the other shampoos and the bubble bath. Also none of the “baby wash” was marked as on sale. These items were the same size as sale items and same regular price so it seems like the may be included, but I was just not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      • Susan

Any Johnson's 15 oz. works–you can't go on where employees hang the little tags. Always read the fine print in the circular.

      • Jenni

A good rule of thumb is to grab whatever is the same size and price, and if it doesn't ring up for what you want, you can always switch something else out.

      • Jenni

Okay, I did my deal, and it really does include EVERY J&J Baby Care product that is 15 ounces – I got the shampoo and body wash (3 different types of wash, too) as well as baby powder (which had a free travel size attached! Score!).

    • Jenni

Okay, here is an idea for lots of Axe products so nearly nothing:

This hinges on the $3 UPs off 3 Axe products printing more than once (anyone know if that is happening? So many ARE printing at least twice, that I think this one is worth a shot)

BUY: 6 Axe Detailers or Body Washes

USE: $5/$25 RA coupon, 3 BOGOF coupons (RP 8/29)

PAY: $7.99 ( I would use whatever Ups I have)

GET: $6 in UPs (two $3 Ups)

Bottom line: 6 Axe products for $1.99! That is roughly .33 cents each!

Anyone thinking of trying this? I'm thinking I might if the stuff smells good.

      • Donna

I like the Kilo green on my husband. Not too thrilled with the red color, forget the scent. Good luck on the trans! I have the short ad so no go on this plus I had a coupon for them :(

        • Jenni

I found a couple of scents that I like well enough. Can't remember the names either! I might try this deal later this week once I get the $5/$25 Red Plum coups that my parents printed out for me… for now, I'm out!

        • meme

If you are still checking this post, I have a suggestion for you since you receive the short ad. Print out the ad from the Rite Aid site and take it with you to the store. Some are reporting in more recent posts that RA corporate is updating the store computers to let them print out the UP’s even with the short ad. That may very well happen for you. Hope this helps. And thanks for the advice on the scent.

      • Extrafor6

Our RA was OUT of Axe today :(

      • Awidener429

I was think of trying it with the idea from above, but now you got me looking at yours. I will probably try it out between now and Friday. There is one that my husband likes but don't know the name. Thanks for the idea.

    • Bamacat

The Rite Aid sale flyer in the Huntsville, AL, paper has Pepsi 12-packs at $4 for $10 with $2 +UP. That is a super price for Pepsi's!

    • millie

just got back from rite aid in millbrook, alabama and i asked about the $128 coupon booklet and the manager told me that only the georgia stores were getting them………hmmm, just thought i would share.

    • toni

If anyone is needing cheap fillers to reach that $25 total, remember that the single serve Nabisco cookies are on sale 2/$1 and there are two video values (one from this month and one from last month) for $1/2, so free cookies.

    • toni

On the Nature Made BOGO vitamins, there is a video value coupon from last month for $2 off and the AJC had $2 off any vitamin or supplement, not just the Nature made sleep product (the coupons were next to each other in the insert).

    • JoJo

Is there a deal on Pampers this week? I am not seeing anything for that?

      • Jenni

There is a fantastic deal on Pampers: Buy 2 boxes of Pampers at 19.99, and get $20 in UPs printed on your receipt. I did this deal yesterday, and it works! Use Pampers coupons, a $5/$25 that'll take off another $7 at least. $13 for two BOXES of Pampers is good enough for most, but there are some 1.50 and 1.75 coupons out there for Pampers (from cheerios boxes and mailed to home coupons), and there is a P&G coupon book rebate (wyb $50 in products), AND if you have a 10% off shopping pass, or have reached the silver or gold level for the wellness card, it'll take off another 10-20%!

I bought 2 yesterday, and got 10% off, plus $2.50 in Pampers coupons, plus a $5/$25, plus $6 in Ups (profit from last week) – got 2 $5 Ups, a $10 Up, and in the end will have paid only $4.34 for both boxes! I am going to try to “do the deal” again in a little bit.

        • JoJo

Thanks Jenni. I'm new to Rite Aid and sometimes get lost. LOL. Let me know if it works again. I need to stock up.

I did it just the exact something. Don't you love it?? Because I do :)

        • Jenni

Okay, I did this deal a second time, and while I DID get two $5 UPs on my receipt, I did NOT get a 2nd $10 UP reward. STILL a great deal, though!

        • Jo

Are these month long deals? I'm not seeing listed above and want to find it in writing in case doesn't work for me at the register.

          • Jenni

It is a deal for THIS week only! Hurry in to get the sizes you need!

            • Jenni

Oh, and there were signs in the store, and the ad was actually very clear about it. I think Jenny was just so busy with all that she does that she somehow missed this deal. I hope she sees that it there, because I know she needs diapers too!

    • mightymousemom

    • Jenni

Need a Swiffer Wet Jet? How about one of them, PLUS a refill, and how about it only costs $5.09 before taxes in the end?

BUY: 1 Swiffer Wet Jet starter kit
      1 Swiffer Wet Jet refill

USE: $5/$25 RA coupon (or $4/$20 VV coup if have a 10-20% discount)
$5 off Swiffer Wetjet starter kit P&G 8/29 (regional?)
FREE refill wyb Swiffer Wetjet starter kit coupon (Organize In Style coupon booklet, mailed to home)

I have a 10% discount, so I should be able to get it all for either 5.09 or 6.09 pre-taxes, depending on the price of the refill (FREE coupon is for up to $7). Plus, this counts towards the next P&G coupon book rebate!

The more I look through ALL of my coupons, and check it with the ad, the more and more AMAZED I am at this sale week!

      • pfsinnh

I actually DO need a swiffer wet jet! Thanks! :)

        • Jenni

I got it! Only paid $2 OOP for it, too! (posting my FANTASTIC trip tonight shortly)

    • pfsinnh

Heads up for those of you who love free, or close to free diapers. NEXT WEEK the Huggies jumbos, big packs and wipes are going to be on another “almost too good to be true, I love Rite Aid so much!” sale.

You may want to order your Huggies coupons now if you are running low, so you can get them in time before the weekend.

      • Jenni

Thanks so much! I have a friend mailing me some, and they should get here just in time for the sale, because I think I am almost out!

      • Hotflash76

I im in need of some diapers. Thanks for the heads up. You said to order your huggies coupons now. Can you order these coupons?

        • pfsinnh

Yes, you sure can! I used to use the Coupon Clippers, but now I use Danielle’s Coupon Paradise. She’s cheaper to use. You can google other coupon clipping services. There are also some high dollar coupons on coupons.com and smart source. On one of those sights you’ll need to use zip code 19191 (I think it’s the coupons.com sight) to get the Huggies coupon. The Huggies jumbo pack scenario should end up being a money maker depending on what coupons you can get. :)

        • pfsinnh

I tried to answer, but for some reason the sight censored my response. Yes, you can google coupon clipping services and order what you need. I like to take a sneak peak at next week's sale and pre-order what I need from the clipping services.

It saves me from having to buy a million Sunday papers! :)

          • pfsinnh

You can take a sneak peak at future Rite Aid sales by going to iheartriteaid(dot)com and click onto the weekly sales ads. You can usually take a look at up to two weeks sales in advance.

      • Aminehdestin

That's the first thing I noticed for next weeks ad. I wish I knew I was going to break my ankle so I'd grab the ads for the next 3 weeks and I could play around with them and coupons that I know are out. Boredom really does help people save money. And it could help my store stay ahead of the game, but of course I'm still not psychic (enough) to do it. Sad. :P

        • Donna

Do you by any chance live in TN? Just curious :O

          • Aminehdestin

            No, I’m in GA.

            • Dianne

Where in GA, if you don’t mind? I am in Acworth. You really do give great advice and tips. Thanks!

            • Aminehdestin

So am I! Which of the 5 stores in the general area do you shop at? I was on leave when I started really posting on here, and just got put back on leave for another 3 weeks, but after that I’ll be back in store, just with a gigantic boot on my foot. :-P It’s funny how much this site and a couple others help, even if the transactions are posted right before the week starts, a lot of times there are coupons out that I didn’t even think about and seeing them mentioned helps prepare me, and in turn the rest of the store, for what’s going to sell well. We’re getting better about catching the sales earlier though! That’s why I’m on here so much.

            • Dianne

I shop at the RA on 41 and Cedarcrest 99% of the time. They have treated me so well that I feel disloyal going anywhere else!

        • pfsinnh

You are so good, Aminehdestin. I wish more RA people were like you! :)

    • sww

just got back from RA- the J&J $10 UP deal is definitely working twice, and the baby products are definitely printing out $2 UP for every product (see KB's post below, do that transaction for $26 UP!!)…but i was wondering if anyone has pressed their luck and tried it a THIRD time? just curious if we could be that lucky:)

      • Shelley

It worked twice for me too and one of those was split between two transactions (because I didn't do my math correctly with the 10%) discount. I would also love to know if anyone has completed this one three times!

    • pfsinnh

      Rite Aid trip today

2 Oreo Snack size -$1.00 used $1/2 VV
Listerine pocket pak – $2.99 used $0.50 MQ and $1 MQ
2 Reach Total Care toothbrushes-$2.99 each used $1 MQ and $1VV
Listerine Total Care- $4.99 used $1MQ and $1VV
Playtex Gentle Glide-$4.00 used $2/1 MQ
      Desitin- $3.99 used $1VV
      (4) J&J Baby Bath products- $3.59 each used (4) $1MQ and $1VV

Paid with $15 in UP's and 31 cents OOP (no tax here)
Got back $29 in UP's and qualified for $10 Gift Certificate from Oral Care after adding this to my husband's SCR account

      = $24 Money Maker today!

By the way, I did not have any of the BOGO for the Reach toothbrushes, and I couldn't find a manufacturer's Q for the Desitin which would have made my savings even better, but I found plenty of the other coupons on the computer.

And today is my 14th wedding anniversary, so I dragged my poor husband along with me. I found out two things…I really need to get a life, and my husband really loves me a lot! :)

      • Aminehdestin

Congratulations on your 14 years of marriage!

    • Vwbug215

Ugh, I am so annoyed right now. Planned out my great rite aid transaction and the cashier who checked me out scrutinized every coupon and gave a reason why each won't work (“can't use 2 coupons for 1 item”, but it was 1 retailer and 1 manufacturers, “can't use 2 playtex coupons”) and to top if off he said I could only use 1 UP reward per transaction. I have like 14 separate UP+ rewards and really don't want to do 14 separate transactions

Has anyone else had trouble using multiple UP+ in one transaction?

      • Awidener429

Not sure what state you live but the cashier was so wrong. This is where a copy of the policy would have been very handy. It clearly states that you can use mulitple different (1 store, 1man. 1VV) coupon per item as long as the coupons don't take the total down to zero. Also we can accept as many +ups in one transaction again as long as the total does not come out to were we owe you. Also if you look at some coupons it may read something on the lines of “1 per transaction, 1 per person” some stores do go by that. Another words (in your example of the playtex)if it says “1 per tranaction” the cashier will not let you use 2 of the same playtex coupons in one tranaction but then you can turn around and use the 2nd one in another tranaction. Now say if you had a bunch of 1 coupons the manager/cashier can limit you from using all of them it just depends on the maanger. Hope this helps.

        • Vwbug215

Thanks for the reply Awidener! I just pulled up the coupon policy and will keep it with my rite aid stuff for now on. I've been doing this for a while and this is the first time I had any problems, but still worth it since I made so much in +ups this week! =)

    • Tori

Up Reward return question??????: I bought 3 the Johnson and Johnson shampoos and did not use any coupons. I am new to Rite Aid. I now need to return this purchase but feel bad cause I used one of the 2 + In another transaction for gum. Will I get in trouble for not returning that 2+? I am scared to return the items but I won't use them. My sister says my niece only uses Aveeno. Does anyone know?

      • Jenni

You can always ask. I think they will tell you that it's okay THIS time, but not to make it a habit.

      • Aminehdestin

With it being new, there isn't policy that supports anything your store might say. Just go in and ask what you should do since you need to return them. We scan your receipt to show what/when you made the purchase, so it may give you the full amount right away, or it could actually immediately deduct the reward. I don't know. If it gives the full amount back, I would make it a point to yourself to try not to make a habit of it so that corporate doesn't start having to monitor those with returns too, because it's hard enough with freebate items I don't want them to feel like people will intentionally abuse the program and start changing it.

    • Leah L.

Had a great trip to Riteaid today!! Got $118.27 worth of stuff for $6.59 including tax. Started with $2 UP rewards and walked out with $19 UPs for next time! I am in the short ad area (Birmingham, AL) and tried to do the Johnson & Johnson $30 deal which wasn't in our ad, and it worked! I got 2 Desitins, 3 J&J baby products, 1 Listerine Pocket Pak, 1 Reach toothbrush, and 1 Listerine Total Care. The $2 UP rewards printed for each individual product that had one on it and the $10 UP printed, so I got $24 UPs back on this one transaction! I was so happy this deal worked here in the short ad world! I'm tempted to try it again, but I don't want to press my luck too much. Also, I bought two Playtex tampons in seperate transactions. The first one printed the $3 UP reward fine, but the second did not print. And I got two $1.50 UPs from the P&G deal Oral B 3D white tooth stuff. I'm thinking it was from the 3D White Advantage toothbrushes. Nice surprise there too!

      • Jenni

You should have gotten 2 Playtex rewards. I did. Try calling corporate and see if they will send one to you! They are really good about doing that.

        • Jenni

Hummm. I just checked the ad, and it DOES state a limit of one. I'm thinking it's possible that they have “fixed” the unlimited, or not completely limited UPs situation. Hopefully in a few weeks we'll have great clarity on whether or not they are going to continue having limits. Perhaps they tried unlimiting them for this week to test up how it works out financially for them? Just spitballin' here.

      • Aminehdestin

I've heard that they were trying to update the computers in the short ad areas so that the +UPs print even if they aren't in your ad. I'm glad to see that they seem to have started. As for the comment below, chances are if you don't get the +UP for a second time, you won't get them mailed to you because it does say in the ad that it's a limit of one whether they are printing multiples or not. Congrats on such a good trip. This week seems to be going really well for everyone!

    • Jenni

      BEST Rite-Aid shopping trip EVER:

$172.02 regular retail for final cost of $3.52!
      98% off of retail!

I did my Swiffer scenario (see below), the J&J deal (7 J&J baby care things, 1 reach, 1 Listerine), a SECOND Pampers diapers scenario (see comment below), and one mix-n-match transaction including 2 Veet, 2 Clearasil, 2 Playtex, 1 gallon of milk, 2 Keebler cookies, and 2 Nivea Lip Care. Phew!

I can't sleep I am so excited about all the great stuff I got for nearly NOTHING!

OH! And this qualified me for the Glam Camp bag, and the $110+ coupon book rebate with P&G! And I one of my J&J baby care items had a travel size freebie attatched, and my Swiffer Wetjet starter kit had $5 in coupons for future refills inside (good through June, 2011)!

      CVS what? Walgreens Who?

      • glammyyams

would it be possible for you to post your scenario/transaction order? i would like to see how it all added up. thank you in advance!

        • Jenni

Yikes. That would be a LOT of typing. Hmmmm… Lemme see how easy my 2 and 3 year olds go down for their nap, and I'll consider.

        • Yesterday was a rough day. Today is better, so here are all five of my transactions from this week. It's going to be LOOOOONG.

BUT beware, I have reached the 10% wellness discount level, so if you haven't yet, your prices will be a little different from mine on non-sale items. ALSO, there are rumblings of Rite Aid fixing the limits on items that were printing multiples, so these may not still be doable.

BOUGHT: 2 boxes Pampers Baby Dry, $17.99e (10% off wellness level)

          USED: 1 – $1 Pampers, P&G 8/29
          1 – $1.50 coupon from Cheerios box

$6 in UPs from previous week (profit)

          Total: $22.48

Paid with $14.43 left on Skin Care rebate GC (was all profit)
and $9.91 cash, so total OOP for that day was $9.91

          GOT: 2 – $5 UPs, 1- $10 Up = $20 in UPs!

          9/14/2010, Transaction #1
7 J&J Baby Care products, all 15 ounces and $3.99 on sale (except the 15 ounce baby powder, that rang up $3.86, because my 10% was a better deal than the sale price – BUT, I still got the UP!)
          1 Listerine Pocket Pak 2.99
1 Reach Total Care toothbrush 2.99

          USED: $5/$25 printable

          $1 Reach printable Manu coup
          $1 VV Listerine
          $1 VV Reach
          $1 VV J&J/Desitin
$15 in UPs from previous transaction

          Total OOP: $4.45 with tax
          GOT: $28 in UPs!

          Transaction #2
BOUGHT: 2 boxes Pampers Dry Max, 17.99 each (10% off)

          USED: $5/$25 printable
2 – $1.75 off Pampers home mailer coupons ($3.50 total)
          $27 in UPs

          Total OOP: $2.34
GOT: two $5 UPs for each Pampers box (but no 2nd $10 UP. Oh, well.)

          Transaction #3
BOUGHT: 2 Keebler cookies, $2.50 each
          1 Gallon of milk, $2.87 (10% off)
2 Platex Gentle Glide 18 ct $4 each
          2 Nivea Lip Care 2.99 and 1.49 (BOGO50%)
          2 Veet Cream Sensation (6.49 and 3.24 – BOGO50%)
          1 Clearasil cleanser pads $5.49
1 Clearasil tinted acne treatment $2.64

          USED: $5/$25 printable

          2- $2 Playtex printable coups
          $2/2 Nivea Lip Care printable
          $2 Clearasil printable
          $1 Clearasil manu SS 9/12

          Total OOP: $2.73
          GOT: $14 in UPs

          Transaction #4
BOUGHT: 1 Swiffer Wetjet Starter Kit $18.99
1 Swiffer Wetjet pads refill $5.84 (10% off)

          USED: $4/$20 VV September coupon
$5 Swiffer Wetjet starter kit manu coup P&G 8/29
Free refill wyb starter kit, Organize with Style home mailer ($5.84)
          $9 in UPs

          Total OOP: $2.00 (yes, even)

          GOT: $2 UP reward

So… totals from all FIVE transactions combined (my first quote was only for the last 4. Also all totals include whatever taxes I paid)-

Total retail value before any sales, discounts or coupons: $213.86
          Total cash OOP: $21.43
          UPs remaining: $8
Total cost for everything after Ups remaining: $13.43, or 94% off retail.

Could have been a little less spent IF:
I'd had another $2 Clearasil coup, the 50 cent Listerine coup, the BOGOF Reach coup, found my 1.75 Pampers coups a day sooner for an additional 75 cents off, and used a $5/$25 on the Swiffer transaction instead of a $4/$20. Those would have got it all under $10.

Also – I got my $10 UP in the mail the yesterday for the $10 UP that wasn't printing for anyone last week, and if I'd waited for that, plus had the coupons mentioned, I would have MADE a tiny bit of money. THINK OF THAT.

EXTRAS: These purchases also got my rebate for P&G $110+ coupon book taken care of, as well as got me the Glam Camp bag with samples. I also got a free travel size baby powder attached to my full size one, and my Wetjet starter kit came with $5 in coupons good til June 2011!

    • Brownebaby

Does anyone know if they limit the number of times a video can be watched by the public. Because i am getting a message that the video can not be played, “please select another”. But I have never watched these videos.

      • Aminehdestin

No, the videos aren't limited like some IP coupons that cancel after so many people print. It may be heavy traffic bogging the site down, or your browser. Anytime I get a weird message in ad perks, I close my browser and clear my temp files and cookies in case there is something blocking from my end, then re-boot my internet and try again. It normally works.

    • glammyyams

can someone recommend a legitimate coupon clipping service? it appears the huggies diapers on going on sale next week and i would like to know how to get some coupons for that or for future sales. also, do you guys order from these services every week? i am wondering because i saw that a lot of you scored a major deal with the j&j baby products but had like 7 or 8 coupons to go with ea. product. is this just luck or does more advanced planning go into that? i have been doing coupons for about a month but everytime i think i catch up with you guys, you pull out a surprise! lol, any tips on how to get the most savings would be great! thank you all!

      • Jenni

I used purely printables from online. I am only able to do the deal once, as I only have one working computer right now, but other who did the deal several times likely had access to several computers. Just so you know. With Huggies, though, you may need to use a coupon clipping service to get them, as I/we don't know what is coming out in the next coupon circular this Sunday. But we should know by tomorrow, I think.

        • pfsinnh

Yes, I tried to post a couple of clipping services this morning but for some reason my post was censored out. I don't know why I get censored and I'm getting tired of it, frankly.

It looks like they finally posted it down below.

          • Sandy

If you type in a web address Jenny has to approve it first. She does this to prevent spam.

            • pfsinnh

              I figured as much. Thanks!

          • Jenni

            Sandy beat me to it.

      • Sandy

There are lots of printables out there for Huggies right now. Use Jenny's coupon database to find them. The printables online have been better then the ones in the inserts and even the home mailers!!!

    • julies

has anyone attempted the Johnson & Johnson body wash/lotion etc deal 2x on the same card and gotten the $10 the second time??

      • julies

never mind, i did it and it did work YEAH!!

      • Krizlee827

I actually did it 3 times today and got all 8 $2 ups as well as the $10 up every time!!!

    • Couponing4myfamily

Woo hoo! I just bought: trans. 1-2 desitins, 1 baby shampoo, 2 listerine pocket packs and 6 boxes of band aids. Used 3/3 J&J Q, 1 VV J&J Q, 2 VV listerine Q's, a 5/25 Q and 10 ups & paid about 17 with tax; got back 10 for the mixed deal, and 8 for the J&J baby and listerine stuff. 2nd trans: 2 tampax, used 2.50/2 q and 4 ups from first trans. Paid ~2 and got back 6 ups. THEN!!! 2 Pampers boxed diapers. Used 1Q, 1 5/25 Q and all the bucks I just accrued. Paid about 15 oop and got back 20 ups! Oh, and my 2 year old got a toy story ball on clearance for 1.35! (Had to keep her happy, since I did so good) So, for about $35, I got a TON of stuff with 20 ups for next time! YEAH!

    • Creativespiritcreations

GREAT clearance at Rite Aid.. Actually my first shopping trip there… paid 4.12 for 28.50 worth of items,, I got three febreeze home reed diffusers on super clearance (2.74) and used 3 $2 off coupons.. then i also had a clearance.. endust spray cleaner usually 4.99 down to 1.24

    • Creativespiritcreations

Do Rite Aid cumulative deals have to be in one transaction or over the course of a week?

      • Sandy

They are supposed to be done in one transaction.

        • Creativespiritcreations

Thank you! New to Rite Aid and dont know. Very successful so far and excited about it

    • guest

For those who bought pampers, did you buy the dry max or any pampers big box? I went to Rite Aid (murfreesboro TN) this morning and picked two box, only one $5 printed out. I asked about the $10, the manager told me that it only applies to dry max. Can any of you confirm this? Thanks

      • Jenni

NOT true – my first transaction was 2 Baby Drys, and my second was 2 Dry Max, and I got a $5 UP reward for EACH one. Call corporate, and hopefully, they will mail you one. (The ad does say limit 1, so I don't know.)

        • guest

Thank both of you for the replies. I was trying to buy two Baby Drys, one in size 3 and the other size 4. Does this make a difference (possibly 2 upcs)? I returned in the end and am thinking of trying another location.

          • Jenni

I cannot imagine why size would have anything to do with it. The ad certainly doesn't stipulate anything about sizes other than it needs to be the boxes.

            • guest

Update – I tried another Rite Aid store for 2 pampers dry, and two $5 and one $10 printed out without problem. I guess they lack of store to store consistency.

Thank you so much for your responses and help!

          • Susan

No–I bought a size 3 and size 5 box in one transaction and got all my ups.

        • GAmommy

I did this ( 2 boxes of Pampers) today and the manager said that the system was supposed to be getting “fixed” to only allow 1 $5 and the $10 P&G.

        • Susan

I agree–I got two $5 ups for each box of diapers and the $10 in one transaction.

      • Sandy

I was just curious if both of the items you puchased had the same Upcs. Without a doubt you should be able to get the $10 P&G Up, but you are probably out of luck with the second, $5 Up being that it says limit one per household.

      • Susan

        I bought baby dry ones.

    • Caritob40

HELP!!!!….I went to RA today and BY mistake I did not get all of the Garnier products I miscalculate it and I bought 3 bottles of shampoo @ 2.99 and the hair color for 5.99..I gave all my coupons and when I paid, OFF-COURSE my Up rewards did not print :(
I spoke to the ass. manager and he was going to refund what I paid but NO coupons back, meaning I would have to buy everything all over again w/no coupons this time. If not to go back tomorrow to speak to the general manager :/
      I don't' know wt to do…any ideas???

      • Wearal

Go in and buy one more bottle of shampoo for 2.99. Your $5 UP Reward should still print. As long as you used your riteaid card, they have it in the system. I did the same thing with the Johnson & Johnson UP reward and it worked:)

        • Caritob40

          Thank you…Will try..

          • Aminehdestin

If it doesn't (since +Ups aren't supposed to be cummulative) ask if you can return them all and re-purchase them with one more item for an even exchange. If you buy them all with that xtra item, the reward should print. coupons can't be given back and cash isn't supposed to be given for coupons. Good luck

            • Caritob40

Right, that is the problem I am having, if i return them and then do everything all over again I am going to end up paying more since I do not have the coupons I already used :(
That is why I wanted to know in whether there was another route or not

            • Susan

I would just ask for full refund of all the items, asking them not to refund you less the coupons because you will be turning around and purchasing them all again plus one more item. This works in my store–kind of like an even exchange….you're not asking for full price back and then walking out of the store, making money on your coupons. They should understand.

            • Aminehdestin

Exactly what I meant, thank you. Actually ask if you can do an even exchange, that way the coupons are kind of irrelevant because you're buying the same items you're returning, so in essence you'd be using the coupons on the exact same merchandise so no way to cheat the system. Plus, after 24 hours the receipt is in the computer and it should immediately give you back the sales price, and the store shouldn't have any grief about trying to exchange it since like I said, you're buying it all again anyway.

    • Fgavent

Just to let everyone know I got three Scott $2 UP rewards (that is all I bought – you may be able to get more). I really needed tiolet paper!

For the Playtex tampons, I was limited to 2 UP rewards.

    • Coralied73

thanks so much for the j&j coupons. you're the only site (out of 3 that i follow) that had them all listed! appreciated very much and so will the mom that gets them with her baby shower gift!

    • naneni1

      • Tori

Not true, I used coupons and VV coupons and a 5/ 25 and still received the 10+. Call the corporate # tomorrow and they will mail you your ups

      • julies

nope that is not true. i have done the transaction 4 times and each time used lots of coupons and still got all my Up rewards including the $10 up.

      • Relaxwithdiane

same thing happened to me, after looking it over and returning the products a few times we finally realized that they changed the system yet again and your total has to be $30 in product, not just after taxes. i added another toothbrush and it printed. HTH –I was bummed cause i didnt have extra coupons with me either–same thing with the garnier deal, i added another shampoo

    • Saraann1213

has anyone used Johnsons Natural Baby products for the $10 up deal?? i know the ad says 15oz, but i have coupons for the natural products but they arent 15oz….

      • Rosy

Yes and they worked like a charm :)

        • Saraann1213

thank you! i will try and see!

        • Becca

really? did they print the 2 UP for each product and your 10 UP for $30 worth?? wish i had know that when i bought my johnson's stuff! :)

      • elizabeth

are you planning to buy the naturals products? if not, i don't think they're intended for the regular johnson's baby porducts.

        • Saraann1213

well i have already used almost all the johnson coupons i was allowed to print and the only ones i have left are the natural ones. so was just checking if they worked, cause i know they dont come in 15oz.

      • Val

If they scan them and they ring up $3.99 w/ wellness discount they are probably part of the deal– but no guarantees :)

      • Aminehdestin

I don't think that they work with the sale. Normally the “natural” line does not go on sale with the others. The J&J Baby care is the one line you can basically 100% of the time count on the sale to be exactly as specified, so it's only going to be the 15 oz.

        • Phyre

If I decide to get out of the rite rolling game, the one near me is closing, can I give those ups to my mother? or does she have to use it with my card?

          • Leah L.

I was told by a Riteaid cashier yesterday that they could be used with anyone's card. :-)

            • Susan

They can–no doubt about it. I carry 3 cards–my mom's, my sister's, and mine–and I flip the UPs on one card on another all the time with no problems.

    • Mollymgc

Do all the Rite Aids put out a tiny section with just a few of the products on special or do I just have a bad one in my area? If you are not my Rite Aid at 1:30pm on Sunday you have a very difficult time getting any of the deals. .

      • Bryarsmom

Not sure about your particular store but in ours, Q'ers are there when they open-just like CVS. If you don't want to leave things to chance, I suggest you make haste Sunday mornings.

      • AmyD

I live in a small town so not much couponers here. Should've seen the free gain dishwashing liquid leftover a few weeks ago.

        • Mollymgc

Sounds like you've got a great situation at your Rite Aid. If my store would provide even moderate stock on the sale items it can be a great place to shop. I've done scenarios where I purchased $50 in items and ended up with money back and only a $1 and some change out of my pocket but it is just so difficult when the supplies are kept so limited at the store. If they were well prepared, it would be an incredible place to frequent!

      • Mollymgc

Appreciate the responses. Would like some more feedback as to what other Rite Aiders experience at their stores. My store is not to many couponers but deliberately putting out extremely small quantities of the product. I'm just wondering if it is my store or if all the Rite Aids use this tactic. Bait people to come in so they buy the overpriced items. I never will of course, but I would like to report what they are doing if it is not a company strategy.

        • Sandy

I would be really surprised if your store was putting small quantities out on purpose. District managers, corporate, etc. want to see merchandise leaving the store and the store wants to make a profit. I would ask the manager why everything seems to be out of stock, when would be the best time to shop for sale items, and ask when they get shipments. Rite Aid also gives rainchecks, so if something you want isn't there, when it comes in (or when they bring it from the back– if they are only putting out small quantities) you can get the item for the sale price.

The Rite Aids I shop at (Savannah) always seem to have plenty of sale item product in stock. A lot of times there will be endcaps full of items that are featured in their weekly ad.

          • Mollymgc

I would think so too Sandy when it comes to corporate. I think some managers think they are losing money on coupons and rewards deals and are anti deal seekers so they make it difficult. I was told to check back on a sale item that had enough shelf space to hold 6 items maximum to come back because they had a three week shipment coming in the next day. I wanted two of the items, came back the next day and they had one sitting in the tiny display space. Does Rite Aid honor the UP Rewards and SCR for rain checks like CVS? Sounds like I've got a poorly managed store.

        • jrun

I feel the same way about my Rite Aid and they are NOT coupon friendly. I tried Jenny's scenario w/the Veet and Clearasil and they would only let me use 1 coupon per brand, not item, brand. They also will not let me use too many of my ups at a time, they said there is a limit. Also, I received Rite Aid $5 off coupons for ups that didn't print a while back and they said I could only use those at the pharmacy. Sorry my response turned more into a venting session for me, but yes I've been there first thing Sunday morning to see only 3 products on the shelf, but most the time the people that work at mine are clueless to the sales and what is going on. I don't think they stock for the sales. Most the times signs aren't even up. This is going to shock many people on here, but I would rather shop at walgreen's and that's pretty bad!

          • Mollymgc

Yes, I run into the same issues with my Walgreens. Unfortunately I have a Walgreens and Rite Aid within a mile of my house but CVS is quite a bit further. The CVS is so much better to deal with but they don't always have the items I'm looking for. Hopefully one day Rite Aid and Walgreens will change their ways and follow CVS. As it is, I'll get small deals but want do any major spending at RA or WGs. CVS will get my time and $$. I think I'll send that statement to RA and WGs corporate offices.

          • pfsinnh

I would go to a different Rite Aid location. Some of the stores have not fully caught on to Wellness card/Up's changes which is unfortunate. However there are some stores that are wonderful at training and communicating and making sure customers are happy.

I can tell you that the Rite Aid store you went to was dead wrong in not letting you use the multiple UP's and the stackable coupons.

I had a similar incident happen to me a couple of months ago when a store wouldn't let me use all my UP's rewards, but since then things have changed.

When RA finally gets their act together it will be incredible.

    • PaulaB

I got a box of Pampers for $2. Before SS, I never would have imagined!

$10 UP for $30 in P&G, $5 UP for Pampers, $2 coupon, $5 off $25, plus $1s off for the toothpaste, etc! Unbelievable!!!!!

      • Mandi

Which coupons and products did you get specifically?

    • Brookejordan63

im so confused on this wellness card, i went & bought all the sale items & a few other ones that werent on sale, i had $27.44 in .. coupons & it said i saved 18.55 on my wellness card, but i still paid 53.00 how does this work & what do the receipts mean with the $1 or $3.00 off non prescription purchase. does that mean i can only use them on medicine? im very new at this only second time couponing:)

      • Maggie

Brookejordan63 you should also create an account at Rite aid web site, you can watch video value commercials and stack those coupons with manufact Q…If you purchased anything that has a SCR (single check rebate). You enter receipt online and at the end of month request your check.

      • Val

The receipts that say $1 off non prescription purchases are Up Rewards. They can used to be purchased anything at the store (except for the few items mentioned on the receipt– tobacco, alcohol, a prescription).

Like Maggie mentioned below, Rite Aid offers a lot of coupons on their website. Sometimes it is helpful to split your purchases up so, that you can use 2 $5/25 Rite Aid coupons. You could also use the Up Rewards from your first transaction to purchase items in the second.

    • Maggie

The 1$ and 3$ are Up rewards. they are like dollars, however they cannot be used on prescription purchases

    • MaddieS

      2 Questions:

I am wanting to get the Kimberly Clark rebate deal next week but I need goodnites not diapers. Will I get credit??

Also, does the total $25 spent have to be before coupons? (the $10 off GC rebate deal not the $5 coupon)

      • glammyyams

if you look on iheartriteaid(dot)com she has the ad for next week. the print under the pull-ups pictures says pull-ups, diapers, and goodnights. as long as the ad is in your area i would assume you can do the deal.

and i believe the total does have to be $25.00 before coupons. just make sure you are not a penny or two short, i did this last week with a deal and because my total was a few cents short the deal didn't work. i usually let the total ring up and then hand over all coupons with the bigger ones first, like the $5/$25 coupon. hope this helps…only been couponing for a little while myself

    • glammyyams

question about 10% shopping pass. i received a shopping pass on my receipt the other day for reaching 250pts. the cashier explained that the pass is one time only AND can not be used on sale items, only non-sale items. i was like okay cool…but the bottom of the pass says…”receive sale price or 10% off all items whichever is lower…can't be combined with other offers..void if getting 10% or 20% off.

So…can i use this pass for the pampers deal since the pass would be the lesser price over the sale price? Also, can i still use my coupons and up rewards to lessen my out of pocket?

      • YES! Use it! The Pampers are full price, with an UP reward, which is different. You should end up getting both for 17.99 each. I did!

        • glammyyams

awesome! thank you so very much! looking forward to see your deal and hopefully learn some tips! thanks again!

      • Oh, and I finally posted the transaction line up you wanted. Sorry. Whole family has colds and it had to wait until today.

    • Wukits

Rite Aid ad for 9/12-9/18. Southern Savers has S(blue) $1 off inside Clip & Save booklet. Can anyone tell me where to get this Clip & Save booklet???? Just came from RA and they don't have it. I also agree, there is never product in my store (Lexington, SC), and the manager could care less when you complain or ask questions. Even before I started couponing just a few weeks ago, I complained to the manager about not having certain products and he was very apathetic, could have cared less. I think I will send an email to corporate about this store.

    • This is Jenni. I decided to go “legit” with my name. ;) ANYWAY, For those who are curious, I've finally posted the breakdown of my 4 (5, actually) transactions from this week. Scroll down for it. It's worth it. I'm still kind of in shock after running all the numbers.

      • pfsinnh

Thanks, Jenni! I went the other way with my name. I used to post on here as “Nancy”, but got tired of constantly changing my posting name when I commented.

I hope your family gets better real soon! :)

    • jrun

Does anyone know if you can use a $5/$25 coupon as well as the 10% off coupon

(the one you get when you reach a certain amount of points) on the same purchase. My Rite Aid is anti-coupon, so I like to know ahead of time what type of battle I'm in for. (a little dramatic but I'm really starting to dread going there, but love the deals!)

      • pfsinnh

Yes! You can use it. Just give them the 10% coupon BEFORE you give them the $5/$25.

That's too bad about your RA being anti-coupon. Can you try shopping at another RA that is more friendly? :) It would be so worth it.

        • jrun

Before I read your post I went ahead and called the 800# and they said I absolutely could use them both and should have no problems. I laughed and said you don't know the mean non-couponing cashiers I'm up against. He laughed and said to call from the store if I have any problems and they will set them straight. I still know they will give me trouble, but at least I know I will be in the right for sure:)

          • pfsinnh

Yes, I know! I had a problem a few months ago and called the 800 line and they said the next time anyone in the store gives me a problem about coupons just call customer service from the store and they will handle it no problem.

That makes me feel so much better. And since then it seems like the cashiers are starting to catch on and it's getting easier. I think that all stores should designate someone to watch websites like this so they can get an idea of what we're learning and thinking.

Aminehdestin does this and I think it's great!

      • glammyyams

i asked a similar question a few posts down. jenni p. said you can. i am planning on using it to cut the cost of the pampers deal.

    • Jerry

Earlier in the week, I bought two boxes of Pampers, and got 2 $5 +Ups for the Pampers and 1 $10 +Up for buying $30 worth of P&G. (After coupons and credit card rebates, it came out to $2.81 for 192 size 3 diapers!)

However, yesterday I tried to do the same things, but only the 2 $5 +Ups for the Pampers came out, not the $10 for buying another $30 of P&G. Any ideas why the $10 +Up didn't print, when the 2 $5 +Ups did?

On a different note, I bought a Brother HL-2140 printer at Staples 3 weeks ago, when it was on sale (as mentioned on SouthernSavers) for $49 after rebates. This weekend, I noticed that the $30 rebate didn't print on the receipt. Does anybody have a copy of the Office Depot ad from that week that also showed it for $49? If so, I can get my credit card to match the deal (and save $30 that should have printed).

      • Since the print ad does state that it's “limit 1 offer per household” on the $10 UP, I think they are simply enforcing that one, while letting others, like the $5 UP (which says the same thing), slide. You could try calling corporate and asking, but the ad IS clear on this, so you (and “we”, really, because I've thought a bit about this, myself) don't really have anything they are required to correct. It was still a great deal! With coupons and just the $5 Ups, they are nearly half price, and if you have a 10 or 20 percent wellness discount, even better than half.

        • meme

Thank you, Jenni, for posting your transactions. One of the most informative things you posted was the use of the 10% coupon. I haven't thought of using it in a transaction that gives me an UP reward.

I have one question for you. Are you in a location that has the long ad or the short ad? I am wondering how well I can do this in my local store.

          • I live in the Upstate of South Carolina, and we usually get the “long” ad, but have once, to my knowledge, gotten the short one. I've written corporate and told them on the phone every chance I get that they need to get rid of the long/short confusion. I really hope they are listening.

      • meme

Try “searching” the rebate here on Jenny's site. It may take you to the offer from her archives. You may be able to copy and paste to a word document and take the ad to the store, if that would help.

I got one of the printers and loved it right off. In the last two days, though, some of my pages only print half way down or less. I am getting concerned I may lose some coupon prints. Can't figure out what the problem is.

      • Jerry

Thanks. Unfortunately, I can't find the ad on SouthernSavers, only links to the current ad (with the current price). I'm hoping that somebody can either fax or email me a copy of the ad. I may have thrown out my copy, and didn't notice right away that Staples didn't give me the offer that they told me.

    • AngelaDH

I tried the J&J deal at a Chattanooga-area Rite Aid (we have the short ad here) and it worked! The E.P.T. was 17.99 (not 14.99) but the cashier adjusted it and it still printed the +UP. All four bottles of J&J baby items printed $2 +UP. The Oral-B toothbrushes were 2.49 ea (not 2.99) and it also printed 1.50 in +UP (each). I spent about $32 (with tax) for $88 in products, have $23+UP to use next time and maybe some SCRs. Also, there's an oral care SCR and since I've spent $15 since the end of July I'll receive a $5 gc! W00t!

      • Mutidenan

Where the rite aid location at?
B/c I lived at Chattanooga too, so maybe I can go there, thanx

        • Anonymous

          It’s at “4-Corners” in Collegedale

    • Mistyheitman

I just tried to get the $5/$25 coupon, but I can't find it…I clicked on the link and it just took me to the RP printables. I am new at this…help :) !?

      • Jnnfrlawton

That was just for one day, so i don’t think you can get that one anymore. But you can still go to Riteaid.com and get 4 off 20

      • meme

The last time I tried to print one it said the print limit was reached. Hanaford. I don't know if this meant me personally or their offer of coupons was maxed out.

    • meme

I saw one post where the person did the J&J deal in a “short ad” location. They did get the UP's and $10 UP or rebate. I am wondering if someone in the Anderson, SC area has had success with this. I am too tired this week to spend time shopping just to find out it didn't work. Also, if you did this deal, did you purchase the J&J Natural Products? Another deal breaker if it isn't part of the reward offer. Thanks for any help.

      • kinsi

Worked for me at a store in Duluth, GA (getting ups on each item and then 10 dollar one too.) Naturals weren't on sale from what I recall.

        • meme

          Thanks, kinsi.

    • HF

Can someone tell me how we use the Jiff/Smuckers coupon on the Jiff/Welch's promotion? Just wondering why they would take this coupon as stated above. Thanks.

    • maomao

Where to get the “$128 Inside Clip & Save booklet “? Thanks.

      • Creativespiritcreations

In my Rite Aid I found this booklet by the door where the sales circulars are kept.

    • kinsi

I am officially a rite aid convert. I just started doing Rite Aid *today* and made two trips.

Trip 1 – Baby Shampoo (3), Baby Lotion (2), Reach Toothbrish (3), Listerine Pack
      Total Spent – 18.91
      Total Saved – 21.50
      +Ups earned – 26!

Trip 2 – Garnier Shampoo (4), Hair Color (1), Axe (3), M&Ms (32ish packs, dark chocolate, on sale for 22 cents!)
Total Spent – 1.76 (almost all tax)
      Total Saved – 57.80
      +Ups used – 22
      +Ups earned – 8

So, I spent the equivalent of 8 dollars out of pocket 79$ in merchandise! Heck yah!

The cashier was so nice too. She said she wanted to use me as an example of how to save at Rite Aid with coupons.

    • WynetteC

I think I am actually going to try out Rite Aid. I have officially couponed within the walls of CVS for one year with great success. Now after reading many of your responses about the UP money system that is equivelant to RR/Walgreens and ECB/CVS, I am ready to try.

Curious question, is there a limit to UP rewards per item? I don't see limit posted beside items so I am assuming the UPs are individual rewards that can accumulate even when you buy more than one item of the same kind with UP offered, you will receive the same number of UPs from the number of items purchased, am I right?

Also, if I use my $5/$25 Rite Aid Coupon (old one printed back in the Spring with Exp. of 12/31/2010) on an order, this does not affect the outcome of the UP rewards to be printed right? I am attempting to do the Johnson and Johnson deal and qualify for $10 UP but without paying $30 up front. If this is not possible, someone give me the heads up. Or, I will learn the hard way since I plan on trying this out on my own, LOL. :)

      • Aminehdestin

Good luck with your first RA trip. I will try to help with your questions before you go. The ad does say that there's a limit of one per household on almost all of the +Up rewards. It doesn't seem to be true though. My best suggestion, is to kind of flip through the comments on here to get a good feel for the “true” limits. The $5/$25 coupon won't affect your rewards from printing. Some stores will tell customers that coupon usage does affect +Ups from printing, if they don't print, but it's not true. If for any reason it doesn't print for you, the corporate phone number is great about getting your receipt info and mailing you a replacement coupon. Make sure you get the Wellness card and use it because otherwise you won't get the sale's prices or the +Ups. Again, good luck!

      • pfsinnh

If you are going to do the J&J deal, you should go onto the Rite Aid Video Values and watch and print off the J&J coupons. Next, print off the J&J printable coupons available from the J&J website. (Jenny has a link to it up above)

Get a Wellness Plus Card and be sure to take the $5/$25 with you as well. The one that you have should work fine. After the cashier swipes the card and pushes the order through give them the $5/$25 first and then all your coupons.

Your out of pocket will be significantly lower than $30 in product that you will need to buy and you will receive an unbelievable amount of UP's rewards. One for each and every J&J item you purchased. Have fun! :)

I got the same “Print Limit Reached Hanaford” that meme did one time. I tried a few hours later and it worked. I little trick: You are normally able to get two coupons per printer many of the sites. What I often do is I want more than one is AFTER my print has occurred for a coupon, I will hit the back but….then refresh and then retry and it will print the coupon a second time.

    • jrun

update on dreaded RA trip… After 15 minutes of re-ring 2 boxes of diapers (that's all I had) and each of my coupons, voiding and re-running them, a line of people behind me, which she said was not a good time ( when I went to check-out I was the only one in line), I managed to get out of there paying $8 more than I should have, (not incuding the $3-$4 in taxes). I felt so anxious b/c of the line of people and all the frustration I just got my diapers and was out of there. When I checked my receipt in the car I noticed that it did not take off my 10%, 2 ups, and a diaper coupon (but she did take them). I guess I shouldn't complain b/c it was still a great deal (and all my ups printed). But it is the point that I dread going b/c it's never easy. So, to ease my Rite Aid anxiety I'm going to drive the extra 20min. to another RA to feed my addiction;)

      • pfsinnh

LOL! I had an experience like that a couple of weeks ago, and immediately after the experience I went home and made myself an extra strong margarita! And I don't even drink! AND it was Sunday! ;P

    • Aminehdestin

:-) It helps everyone, all around!

    • Aminehdestin

:-) It helps everyone, all around! It started off with me trying to find good match ups for myself and my coworkers. You guys can't possibly imagine just how much you've helped it evolve from there!

    • Aminehdestin

Not sure why my reply didn't go in as a reply… or why it sent partially finished, but this was meant in response to Nancy (pfsinnh) saying that all stores should check the site out and learn a little bit from it.

      • pfsinnh

That okay, Aminehdestin. I don't know why it cut you off, either, but I think I got the spirit of your intended message.

Thank you so much for being here in the forum to help us understand RA a little better. Sometimes when things aren't going well at checkout, I feel like the store is out to get me! But then you explain why things are the way they are, and I totally get it! Keeps me from going postal. ;)

    • Jackie

Thanks for the info….I tried it today and i just flippped my ups from one card to pay for another…No out of pocket cause I used a gift card that I got for transferring a prescription to pay for the tax…I love free stuff!!

    • RS

I haven't been able to find these or have been told by really strict associates that i have to have a flu shot in order to get this book..mind picking me up some and ill mail you stamps to reimburse for shipping? :)

    • Awidener429

Depends on what kind of manager your store has. Personally I, (a manager) would write the rain check to include the +up and SCR. But you have to watch how the person writes the rain check out. Tell them that you would like to see if you can get a rain check which includes the +up and SCR taken off. Some store managers go by how the customer acts so be carefull. Even though I do that anyways, I would give a deal to someone not showing out faster then I would with someone showing out. Hope this helps.

      • Aminehdestin

Ooh, why do you include the SCR in the rain check? The customer can still get the rebate as long as the rain check is put through the register, when you go to modify the price, as long as you don't choose “sale price” as the reason for the modification, but go down to “rain check” then it's on their receipt that they did come in to buy the merchandise during the rebate period. We were told they had to mail it in, but from what I've seen on here, they can actually enter that receipt online just like a regular rebate entry, and while it will come back as no qualifying purchase made, they can call the rebate line and tell them their account info, they'll pull up that receipt and manually credit the account. So, it's possible if you're giving the after SCR price to customers, they can still turn around and get the rebate. eek. Most people are honest though, but I thought I'd give you the heads up though, because you're cheating your store out of that $1 or whatever you're modifying it to when it would normally come out of the company but not be a loss for your store specifically. +UPs are supposed to be written on the rain check though because we are supposed to adjust those prices to the “it's like paying” price. I thought it might be better for stores to get the customer the coupon mailed to them instead though, so that it doesn't come out of the store, but apparently the replacement coupons mailed out from corporate, start with “RC48” so they don't get paid back, making it the same thing for the store it's redeemed in. :)

        • Awidenr429

The only time that I woud put the SCR on the raincheck would be if it was for a 1 week or 3 day deal. I have done it before to were I would want to buy something that was out of stock and then try to have customer service credit it on my account when I did by in it but they would not credit it b/c it was not with in the limit of the day/week. But hey I only have 3-5 people that coupon that is not employees.

    • Mcgee

I do not get my discount coupon )10% or 2o% when I reACH MY WELLNESS PONT LEVEL. tHE Cashier said to go thpo the website, but nothing there, Can anyone suggest a soltion?

      • It's possible they meant that you need to register you wellness card online. Have you? In any case, everyone I know that has received one had theirs printing on their receipts. Have you checked them? Originally they meant to mail or e-mail them, but I think they've changed their mind. Calling corporate never hurts. Their call center people are really polite and helpful. HTH.

      • Sandy

The first one I got mailed to me about 6 weeks after I reached the level, and the second one I received in my email last week (after reaching the level about 3 weeks ago). So, I guess just be patient?! You can always call 1800RiteAid

    • Brandiemarie

With the $5/$25 and the $5/$20 VV Q, I gt the hardest time. So I actually quit rite aid about a yr ago.

I've been wanting to give thm a try again cause deals aredrying up at CVS.

But the managers and cashiers I dealt with said it is specific on the $$/$$ Qs that the total has to be after Qs and any other discounts.

So, after they left me feeling that I have “BUY” $25/$20 = tax worth of stuff just to get $5 off I just didnt go back.

I have to mention too, that we only get the short ad for 60 mile radius of me.

So, any suggestions on how to handle know it all cashiers/managers cause I hate walgreens (they refuse my Qs cause it makes my OOP too low, & yes I called corp***sigh**) and I have to find an alternative to CVS on slw weeks.

      Thanks for any suggestions

      • I don't like Walgreens, either. I go there for my Sunday papers (99 cents each!) and printer cartridge refills, and that is it.

Anyway, give Rite Aid another try. Chances are they have some new employees by now. Also, corporate has finally been proactive about communicating to their employees how important couponers are to their business, and perhaps the staff will have a different attitude.

ALSO, they are FLAT-OUT wrong about the VV coupons having to be applied after all other coupons. It (to my knowledge) has NEVER stipulated that on the coupon, and corporate WILL tell them otherwise. It's too bad that they are losing out on your business. They really need to be educated.

As to the short ad issue, hopefully corporate is listening to those who are telling them to STOP having a long ad in some areas, and a short ad in others, due to the confusion and disappointment it causes for shoppers like us. They taken HUGE strides in being more coupon-friendly just in the last few months, so hopefully, this trend will continue.

Hope you have a better experience! Oh, and do remember to print out the new (since you been there) coupon policy from Rite Aid. Remember – if the fine print doesn't stipulate something (i.e. “must be applied after all other coupons and discounts”), then they can't ADD rules on top of it that the coupon doesn't state. If they fight you on it, call corporate. 1-800-Rite-AID has never failed me yet. Once they've been chewed out by corporate, hopefully they will take it appropriately, and treat you with as much respect as a person paying only cash for everything.

    • Maggie

I did the J&J deal in two seperate transactions….did not get the 10$UP…I called 1-800-RITE AID…read the reciept, and they are sending 10$UP in mail to my home in one week…If you have reciept call…I'm sure they will make good on it.

    • Wukits

Thanks, but my store didn't have them.

    • Wukits

I've been looking for it also.l My store in Lexington, SC doesn't have them.

    • Aminehdestin

You won't get a 20% off pass, that will just be a discount once you reach 1000 points. Do you know your point level right now? I know that once you reach 125 points, the *next* transaction that you do once it clears in the system that you've reached it, it has started printing on the bottom of your receipt like the +Ups do. That'll happen every 125 points until you reach 500, then you won't need the 10% passes anymore because the 10% is then automatic on everything that isn't on sale, or the 10% is better than the sale price. If you still think you're missing a pass, call 1-800-riteaid and contact the wellness office and see if they can pull up your account. If they see that you have earned a pass that didn't print, they'll mail it to you. You should register your card online though, because your accont updates sooner than the registers do, so you can watch and know around when they should print, so you don't throw it away by accident or anything.

    • Aminehdestin

Re:Dianne : (Sorry, don't know what's going on with my replies not going where they're supposed to) I know the Ceadarcrest store well. The store manager and my store manager like to compete for sales. They're like siblings who have to one up each other week to week. It's comical. I'm at the store 3 miles up on 41 @ acworth due west. Some of our customers actually told me about this site or I'd still be oblivious!

      • Dianne

I didn't know that about the competition, but I know I help keep Eric in the running! Maybe I'll stop in your store sometime! :)

    • Summer_peach88

I have a catalina for Pampers that I got at Walgreens but the barcode starts with a 5 and it says manufacturer coupon on it… can I use it at Rite Aid or will they try to say it's a Wags coupon? It says “redeem at Walgreens” but I'm assuming they're just trying to get me to use it there.

      • LRae17

I've used a Kroger MF Q at Rite Aid before. At first they resisted because it said, “Only redeemable at Kroger”, but when I explained that it was really a MF Q, showed them how it started with the number 5, etc., they took it and it scanned fine. Might depend on how knowledgeable the cashier/manager is about what truly is a MF Q. Hope this helps!

    • mell

The J&J deal is soooo amazing!!! It pretty much pays for itself! I did it twice and I got $26 UPS back both times :) Im sooo happy!

    • julies

what area (section) are the little nivea creme tins? i cant find them i my store, hoping i am just missing them..

      • Aminehdestin

My store has them at the end of the skin care lotion section, basically the middle shelf down. I know for a while we also had them at the checkout.

    • Leigh

Can you use 2 V V coupons on one item, if one coupon is from last month and one is from this month?

      • pfsinnh

You know what? I believe you can. I thought I heard of some folks putting 2 VV coupons on 1 item when it was different months. They have different bar code #'s. Try it and see. :)

        • Meg

You can do it if they are different months. I had 2 Maybelline vv q's one from Sept and one from Aug and used them in the same transaction combined with 2 manufacturer q's. With 40% off Maybelline, it made for 2 mascaras each less than $0.50! Love Rite Aid!!!

          • pfsinnh

            That's really good!!!

      • Dianne

        I have done that successfully!

      • Sandy

If one of the coupons starts with an RC49 and the other a RC48 then yes you can. Otherwise, you are not supposed to.

        Policy states:
“No more than one '48' Rite Aid coupon, one '49' coupon, and one '5' manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.

    • DawnCDP

I'm just wondering—and I'm asking you because you are the expert—but the Pantene deal this week is 2 for $7–if I just buy one will it ring up half price?

      • Aminehdestin

Re: Dawncdp: Yes, for now any of the sales that are 2 for $X or whatever, you can get one at half. I know that this is being changed, but I'm not sure as to when. The only things right now that you have to purchase the entire thing is a BOGO sale or if there's a +UP when you buy 2 (or 3 or 4 etc.).

    • Dawncdp

Mine printed out a couple of weeks later–in fact, 2 of them printed on the same day. I think it slows way down when you are doing more than one transaction in a day.

    • WynetteC

Okay, I finally went into the local Rite Aid for the first time to buy non-prescription stuff in probably 10 or more years! Thank you guys for your encouragement, let me share what I did get and how it all broke down! :)

      I bought:
      (6) Reach Total Care Toothbrushes $2.99 each
      (2) J & J Baby Oil 14 oz $3.99 each (these were not tagged but they were included in the promotion)
      (1) Listerine PocketPack $2.99
      (1) J & J First Aid Triple Layers Non-Stick Pads $3.49 for the first
      (1) J & J First Aid Triple Layers Non-Stick Pads $1.74 for the second at 50% off
      Total Before Coupons $34.13

I would have left out the bandaid products but they were out of desitin so to make the total of the bill come out right the plan had to change a little to work with the coupons I had with me.

      Coupons used:
      – $5/$25 printable
      – 3 B1G1 Reach toothbrush
      – 3 $1 off one Reach Toothbrush
      – 1 $1 Video Value for Reach Store Coupon
      – 2 $1 off J & J Baby Oil
      – 1 $1 Video Value for J & J Store Coupon
      – 1 $.50 off Listerine Pocket Pack
      – 1 $1 Video Value for Listerine Pocket Pack
      – 1 $1.50/2 J & J Red Cross Products
      SubTotal : $10.17
      Tax : $2.04
      Paid Cash: $12.21

      (3) $2 UP for Reach
      (2) $2 UP for J & J Baby Oil
      (1) $10 UP for Promo Spend $30 on J & J and get $10 UP back

She also told me to look over my receipt and see if anything was missing. I asked her about the Listerine UP reward (assuming the other three were for the 3 toohbrushes that I did purchase that were not free)
and she wrote in the $2 UP for the Listerine on my receipt. I was very impressed with her friendliness and I am hooked on Rite Aid now. :D

So now I have $22 total received back in UP Rite Aid Store money. I can so figure this out, very similar to RR for Walgreens or ECBs for CVS.

      • pfsinnh

Yay!!! I'm glad you had fun. Just like shooting fish in a barrel… :)

        • WynetteC

I have never heard that phrase before, but I'm gonna borrow it! LOL

    • Shawna

Had a very nice cashier today who was awesome. I had mistakenly put an item into my first transaction that I had planned to put in my second. She caught it when she was about to scan the coupons for that item during my second transaction. I apologized and told her it was my fault for not paying attention and that I would just use that coupon another time. But she was determined to give me credit anyway since I already bought the item during the first transaction. She scanned the coupon and gave me back $1 in cash. I have never had that to happen in the 7 months I have been couponing!

      • SB

I hope she didn't scan the coupon so that the $1 came off on your second transaction receipt, and she handed you a dollar. If so, her register might be short a buck!

Glad you had such a wonderful cashier. Makes a big difference shopping. :)

        • Shawna

No, she did it after the 2nd transaction.

    • Awidener429

Just out of curiosity what state are you in?

    • Awidener429

My comments are not going where they are spossed to. SORRY! I was wondering what state Aminehdsetin is in.

      • Dianne

        She's in GA.

    • Awidener429

Had a GREAT day at my Rite Aid. I'm in the short ad for now. I did the J&J Baby items and it was awesome. My store manager was leaving for the day but she couldn't until she watched my tranactions.

      Did another tranaction:

3 qt crock pot Reg $39.99 Clearance for $7.49

Angel Soft TP 12 pk. Reg $6.99 Clearance $1.49 (got 2)

Glade soy candle Reg. $3.49 Clearance $.89

Another kind of soy candle Reg. $10.99 Clearance $2.74

GE soft white lightbulbs 8pk Reg. $7.99 Clearance $1.99

Wyler pink lemon pactes Reg. $.99 Clearance $.24

Total Reg. $62.43 OOP before coupons:$16.33

Used 3 man. coupons that total:$4.00 and 2 of my +up from the J&J of $12.00.

      Final OOP $1.46

Now all of the clearance items listed above is only at my store b/c we have so much of clearance items and not enough room to put it so my DM said to mark all clearance on the endcaps at 75% off. This is just to let you know so you don't go looking for something and your store don't have it for the same price.

Can't wait for next week. . And I can't wait till the middle of Oct. for when my district will do away with the short ad and go to the long one.

    • mell

Has anyone got the crest UP more than once??

      • mell

        Or the febreze candles?

    • caroline

      • mell

Did you also get the $2UP for each J&J?

    • Aminehdestin

(RE: Awidener429): Mine are doing the same, at least on the laptop. I hopped in to my dining room and posted from my main computer and the reply went through fine. I don't get it. But, Dianne is right, I'm in GA.

    • Aminehdestin

(RE: Dianne) : It's a friendly competition at least between us and Eric. :-) He's a nice guy, so I don't mind so much you helping him and his store out, except of course, for the weeks when he beats us by $30 or so and I get to hear the half hearted rant about how close we were to beating him. It's not bad at all when we beat him though. Like I said, they act like siblings. I like my store though, we all have fun. Halloween is a blast, we actually all dress up and hand out candy while we work. I know Eric keeps his store pretty good with attitude and how the employees treat customers, but I've only actually been in there a time or two, but even so, you'll notice a difference if you pop in a few times to see us. I like making people smile, so we try to be really up-beat and *nice* to customers from the time they walk in. Maybe that's why so many of my customers signed my poster board when I was out from my surgery last week, there were a lot saying they missed the smile when they walked in. I can't believe how some stores are when I walk in, I thought it was policy when I started at RA to greet everyone with a smile, but I've been in stores from here to Jasper and half the time it's like I don't exist. It makes me that much more determined to try my best to make everyone happy though, so I guess it's good for something to feel what a customer feels walking in to a “cold” store.

      • Dianne

I have found MY cashiers and managers very likable and helpful, and they smile when I come in!

    • Aminehdestin

(RE Dianne): I kind of figured that Eric's store would be good about being friendly from the beginning. It's very rare that we have customers come in from down there and complain about the store. A couple of the other stores in the area get some very, ahem interesting, criticism. It's terrible to have a good store so close by us! :)

    • Wukits

I've sent a few requests about where to find the clip and save coupon books in Rite Aid but have not received any responses. I couldn't find them in either the Lexington, SC store or South Congaree store. I asked them at South Congaree and they said they only give them out with a Flu shot! Does anyone in Columbia, SC or West Columbia know if this is true? Is there a Rite Aid in the area that you all like? The one is Lexington is pretty bad, the manager just doesn't care about anything you ask him or tell him.

      • There are supposed to be for those who get the flu shot. Some stores received them that don't give the flu shot, and it is mainly those stores that people have been able to get a booklet withOUT getting the shot.

      • pfsinnh

I'm sorry about that. :) You can get the clip and save book from any RA when you get a flu shot. The stores know them as the flu shot promotion coupon booklet.

Some stores were just giving some of these away a couple of months ago, but now I believe most of the stores are abiding by the strict rule of “flu shot customers only” with these.

      • Aminehdestin

Call customer service and ask them. Let them know that your stores don't seem to know what they are, and you've seen some things online, and if you've heard the radio broadcasts mention that too, I'm not sure if that's a local thing or not though, so only mention it if you've heard it. It's possible that they'll tell you what stores have them in your area (if you get the flu shot) but I've seen a couple posts on different sites that CS offered to mail the coupon book to the customers. I don't know where CS stands on the booklet, but it can't hurt to call and ask where you can find one, even if they tell you that you have to get the flu shot to get one.

    • Fallaya

Maybe it's just me, I so much prefer the SCR program than the +UP Program. I enjoyed the moneymakers, because I'd get a nice check each month,. which I used as spending money (I'm on SSD, and that money only goes towards bills and medications). I wouldn't ordinarily shop at Rite Aid, but the SCR Program made it worthwhile. Oh well…maybe I'll just do as many SCR's as I can each month, and focus on mail-in-rebates for a while.

      • pfsinnh

Okay…here's a good one for ya. Jenny will be posting the new Rite Aid deals list any time now and on that list there will be some John Frieda Root Awakening products.

After all UP's and coupons you will most likely pay around .50 cents for a couple of them. Take your receipt and mail it to the address below for a $10 Rite Aid Gift Certificate.

        Mail to:
        Fitness Magazine
        Attn: Ashley Sweeting
        125 Park Avenue
        New York, NY 10017

There are a bunch of other items you can buy and qualify for the $10 card, but you must buy the Root Awakening Smoothing Lotion (at least one) from the John Frieda line.

I will post this again once Jenny posts the new list for next week to remind everybody. You must purchase by 9/24 to qualify. :)

        • WynetteC

So I take it this is a rebate from Fitness Magazine? I am so behind on the rebates from all this shopping madness but it looks good, so I'm game! Thanks for posting! :)

          • pfsinnh

I know, there are so many rebates floating around out there right at the moment. It is hard to keep track!

This rebate is between Fitness magazine and Rite Aid and started on 8/24.

    • toni

Yes. I've gotten it twice on the 3d vivid (that isn't supposed to have an up).

    • Aminehdestin

(RE: Leigh) : About using 2 VV coupons on one item, no you can't use 2 VV coupons on a single item. You can use one from each month in one transaction if you're purchasing 2 of the items. Otherwise you're stacking two of the same type of coupon on one item, when you're only allowed to stack (per item) one man coupon (starting with 5/9), one RA Man coupon (starting with 49, which are most in-ad coupons and VV coupons now) and one RA store coupon (starting with 48). I know most stores are still saying that you can use a man. coupon, in ad coupon and VV coupon on each item, but based on the newest policy this actually can't be done since both of the RA coupons start with “49”. I do want confirmation on this since we've been told over and over again to accept both, then they release the new policy and contradict that.

      • leigh

Not VV coupons, at the bottom of my receipts +up rewards print “save $1 off $10 oral care products” and my store will only let you use one per purchase and ONLY for the printed category. It's not free $ to me. I don't want to have to spend $10 five different times just to save $1 each time.

        • Aminehdestin

I was actually responding to this: ” Leigh [Moderator] 1 day ago
Can you use 2 V V coupons on one item, if one coupon is from last month and one is from this month?”

I didn't see a question about the +UPs, but that I can help with too! The $1/$10 purchase of ____ coupons aren't the rewards that you earn. Those are supposed to print on all or at least most receipts. They change every few weeks, but can come in handy so save them just in case. The ACTUAL +UP Rewards are $X off any non-prescription purchase over $X. I don't have one by me right now to quote directly, but I'll make it up to give you the general idea.

Say you buy 2 of the Reach toothbrushes that are on sale right now for $2.99. No matter what coupons you use, you still bought 2. Even though it says the +UP limit is 1, we know that it's printing multiples, so at the bottom of your receipt you should see (Maybe the $1 off $10 oral care purchase first but THEN) “$2 +UP Reward on any non-prescription purchase.” Scannable bar code with RC49____ underneath it showing it's a man. coupon which will be paid back by the man. listed next- it then says “from the purchase of REACH” then some fine print showing the exclusions like tobacco, alcohol, pre-paid cards etc. Then you might have that same exact thing right below it since you [hypothetically] bought 2.

Those are the actual +UP REWARDS, whereas the others that are $1/$10 of any specific items are considered +UP coupons. Those bar codes, I think, actually start with “RC48____” which shows that they are basic store coupons that don't get repaid. If you didn't get any rewards that you should have, call 1-800-riteaid and give them your receipt info, they'll pull up the transaction and make sure you bought qualifying items and mail you the rewards. Those you can use as many in a transaction as you have assuming it doesn't take your total below $0 before tax. The +UP coupons, I think are one per transaction. I wish I had one right now to be sure, but I don't, so I'm not. If you do spend $20 on oral care though, I think for now most stores will let you use 2 just because it's still so new so no one is 100% positive on how we're supposed to do some of it. :-) Hopefully that's not too confusing for you, if it is let me know what you don't understand and I'll try to clarify. Too much throbbing in my foot, I won't be surprised in the least if I'm not making any sense.

I was very excited for this week and then I had to think I could fly and break my stupid ankle. I know it's late, but this was my plan for the week, and it was going to be amazing because it's *only* stuff that I need and use. I was going to get my sister-in-law to run and get it all for me, but she doesn't do coupons and I don't know if she'd know what I'm talking about. So instead, I'm just sending her for my toothbrushes and one tube of mascara b/c I want to try the “Falsies” mascara while it's 40% off. I hate spending money on makeup. Anyway, in case anyone is wanting a quick and easy and cheap [OOP], last minute Rite Aid run, this was my plan:

      (2) Reach Toothbrushes @ $2.99 ea =$5.98
      (2) Oral B Toothbrushes @ $2.99 ea =$5.98
      (1) Crest 3D toothpaste 4 oz =$2.99
      (1) Playtex 18 ct. =$4.00
      (1) Maybelline Falsies mascara @40% off =$3.89
      (2) Maybelline Great Lash mascara @40% off =$6.22 ($3.11 ea)
      (4) Nivea hand cream tins @ BOGO 50% =$2.96 ($.99 reg, $.49 half)

      Subtotal =$32.02

USE: $5/$25 VV coupon, $1 Reach VV coupon,
      (2) $1 Reach m.q., (1) BOGO Oral-B mq.,
      (1) $1 Oral-B RA clip & save coupon,
      (1) $1 Oral-B P&G mailer m.q, (1) $1 Crest m.q.,
      (1) $1 Crest RA clip & save coupon,
      (1) $2 Playtex printable, (2) $1 Maybelline great lash m.q,
      (2) $2 Maybelline VV (Aug. & Sept had one each!),
      (1) $1 Maybelline Wellness store coupon,
      (1) $1/$10 cosmetic purchase, (1) $1/$10 oral care

      Coupon total = -$25.99

Total OOP = $6.03 (pay with any +UPs you have obviously)

      Get back SCR $2 Crest & $1 Crest (rebates #54 & #55)
if you qualify for both, only if you didn't do it a couple weeks
ago & $14.95 towards Oral Care rebate
[get $5 GC when you spend $15 or get $10 GC when you spend $25]
      +UP rewards: (2) $2 Reach, $3 Playtex, (3) $1 Maybelline mascara
      $1.50 Crest and (2) $2 Nivea WYB any 2

      Total +UPs back = $15.50

Now, we didn't think you could use a BOGO coupon and a $ off coupon but it does make sense that you can, so until we hear differently, I think it's been decided that it is okay. This could actually be a little better if you have the BOGO reach coupon as well, I don't, so this is how I was gonna do it. The Maybelline, all coupons can be used because 3 are being bought. Both VV coupons and the Wellness coupon are all “RC49” coupons, but one would apply to each item making it legit! Then the 2 man. coupons are for the great lash, and I didn't have one for the falsies but like I said, I want to try it so I'll spend the extra $1. The $1/$10 just helped make the mascara not only free after +UPs but a little money maker in the end, more so if you stick to only buying the great lash.
*I really do like the Nivea hand cream. I use it as a cuticle cream when I do my pedicures. I ran out a couple of months ago, but with my surgery it was irrelevant as I can't do my toenails yet. While it's on sale though, I do want a few. :-s
