    • AshleyQ

Thanks sooo much for all you do!!! Does anyone know what the $1.79 product is? I went earlier today in hopes of getting some cheap dishwashing liquid (before I even knew there was a rebate, whoo hoo!) and it was $2.99. After the rebate I could get 3 for $0.33 each, which is still a GREAT deal!!!

      • Baby2

I totaly forgot that i needed only Dishwashing liquid…….

      • AshleyQ

Hi, me again… I had to run out for another errand and stopped by another Kroger to do a double check. The only thing I could find for $1.79 was the single roll paper towels. The rebate excludes the single rolls so I decided to stick with my original plan and get 3 dishwashing liquids for a buck!(after rebate), hth! AshQ

      • armywife74

Targets in my area have the dish soap for 2.89 pair it with the printable store coupon for 1 dollar off and you pay .89 cents each for a total of 2.67 plus tax with a mail in rebate you will make 2.33 minus postage and sales tax

    • wendythelen

I also printed a $1 off 7th Generation Target coupon

    • Jessica

I was just in the Kroger on Peachtree Corners in Norcross, GA, and the lowest priced item I could find was the dishwashing liquid for 2.99, like AshleyQ. Although that's a good price…it wasn't as low as I wanted it to be!

    • irisfaith

      Hey Jenny and fellow SSavers!
We have gone toxic chemical and paper product free in our house (with the obvious exception of TP). I clean with microfiber clothes (and just a little warm water) which are supposed to pick up at least 99% of bacteria. I mention this because these Seventh Generation products can always appealed to me, but my friends who have tried them have been less than thrilled with them. I tried a non-chlorine bleach – I think it was even this brand – but found that it did not effectively remove stains for me.
What I want to know is, has anyone had really GOOD luck with any products from this line, and if so which ones? I would love to try them and what better time then now?

      • Cindy

I love everything from this line except the dishwasher soap. I found that it left left my dishes unclean. Other than that, I have always been happy with the disenfecting cleaner spray and liquid dish soap. They even have some tub and tile cleaner and other bathroom spray that smell great and everything comes clean. Hope that helps!

        • Kel

I agree with you on the individual dishwasher pack thingys . . .the powdery stuff gets all over the dishes and leaves a grainy residue! But the other things I've tried, I really like. I LOVE the diapers!

      • morticiainpink

I use the dish soap to clean baby bottles and love it. Its the only fragrance free soap I have found!

Here is some information i thought you guys might be interested in knowing!

This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor's Wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over recently for Coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to clean my toilet and counter Tops. This is what she told me: “I would like to tell you of the benefits of that Plain little ole bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any Drug store. What does bleach cost? My husband has been in the Medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don't tell you About peroxide.

Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctor's office? NO!!! Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask The nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if they use Bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40's? It's Chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill
our troops. Peroxide was invented during WWI. It was used to save and Help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals. Please think About this:

        1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and Hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it When I bathe) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter Without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash..

        2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of Germs.

        3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and Leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you Wipe, or spray it on the counters.

        4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to Kill salmonella and other bacteria.

        5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of Peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

        6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes Several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal With any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.

        7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and Keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic System like bleach or most other disinfectants will.

        8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture Whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to Kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose Into a tissue.

        9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right Away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten Minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

        10. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

        11. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of Whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on Clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a Minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

        12. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which Is why I love it so much for this.

“I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home Should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to Save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner!”

This information really woke me up. I hope you gain something from It, too.

Pass this on .. And on .. And on!

        Peroxide vs. Bleach

        • Lori

Thanks for the info!!! That is awesome!!

    • Linds

is anyone else having a problem with the website?

      • Elizabeth

YES! I am no where near patient enough for their site. I have it 'loading' on two different, super-fast computers. Their site is horrible. Oh well!

    • Benjamin

Is this just for the end of this week or until the beginning of next week?

      • Benjamin

Nevermind! Just looked at the Kroger ad…just til this Saturday!

    • jenntmH

Website is slow :-( I finally got through and it says that there are no coupons currently available. Just wanted to let you all know so that you don't waste your time.

      • aolss

I'm printing out coupons now :) The website was acting up but looks like it's running smoothly now.

Does anyone know if 7th generation products are available at Kmart?

        • Kel

          also wondering if Kmart carries . . . .

          • ER

No Kmart does not…at least not in Illinois

            • csoaks

what website do you use for the grocery stores in Illinois? have family there and wanted to give them the name of a site like this one for dominicks, jewel, etc… thanks

    • Felicia

Great deal….but I don't think you can actually make a profit. The fine print says rebate “up to a maximum of $5.00, so it is likely a full refund instead of profit. Still awesome!!

    • grisy

Does anyone know when is this brand going on sale at Publix??.. last year was on sale the whole month of April for the earth day and I am still waiting for that to happen. My baby use those diapers and it gets expensive without those breaks.

      • morticiainpink

I had someone give me several packs of diapers they found on clearance for $3 a pack at Ingles. Good luck!

      • ireneY

I'll wait for that sale, too. Thanks for the info!

        • akistler

I found all seventh generation on sale at BOGO half off at Babies'r us today. They were also clearance at the same time at 1.98. This was making them basically 1.50 when bought in multiples of two. Before coupons of course.I think that the Publix sale is usually something like 25% off the price of 2.99 which isn't actually as good.

    • Guest

I just printed my coupons- thanks!! I can't find anything on the Kroger website about a sale though :( Either way, still a good deal for the handwashing dish soap I LOVE!!

    • ireneY

Jenny, you are awesome for finding this deal. SS readers are super-duper for sharing your reviews and price checks… big hug! Being good to the planet is good for everyone! :)

I am having trouble accessing the site to Uncle Ben, too. We are crashing these sites en mass!!

    • KartersMommy

I found all of the Seventh Generation products for $1.78 at my local Babies-R-Us, however none of it was actually marked $1.78 on the rack. I found a price check machine, and everything was in fact $1.78 each. You might want to do a price check where you shop, because they may just not have it marked down yet! I stocked up on things to donate to a local center – I know they will be greatful for all of it!!! :)

      • victoria70

        Were the baby wipes 1.78?

        • KartersMommy

They didn't have any, so I'm not sure. Sorry!

      • francesA

I found also at Babies R Us (but in the clearance section for $1.97). They were having a buy 1, get 1 50% off. I bought 3 dishwashing detergents for $2.30 (after the $1.00 off coupons). The bleach and a few other items were also clearance $1.97.

I found extra copies of the rebate at Kroger. Every bottle of laundry detergent had the rebate (paper form tied around top of jug) so I felt it was OK to take one copy (remember you have to buy 3 products for the rebate so the person buying would get three copies of the form).

    • amysanders

the only item for $1.79 at my kroger (in atlanta) was the paper towel roll (which is excluded in the deal) the next cheapest item was the dishwashing soap at $2.99. still a great deal.

    • shannon

Does anyone know the zip code for the John Frieda coupon?

    • Sandra

the 7th site said my krogers and walgreens have them…they do not. THey even gave the specific address…and they do not. All I can find is the spray and dish and large detergent at 1 Target – regular price. The natural store has them too, but I dunno if they will take a coupon!!!

    • Jessica

just fyi…i went to the babies r us in dunwoody, ga. as said before, the tag said the regular price, but when i scanned them at the price checker, they came up at 1.98 a piece for the sprayers and fabric softener. (the 1 baby laundry detergent was 9.99, and it was tiny!) the rest had pretty much been wiped out. the nice thing was they were buy 1, get 1 50% off, so some were only $.98. I only had 2 $1 off coupons and was thinking you had to buy $5 worth to get the rebate…not buy 3, and get the rebate. so, i bought 5, which brought me to about $6.50, after coupons, and i'll get the $5 rebate, so all in all, i paid $1.50 for 3 bottles of multi-surface cleaner and 2 bottles of fabric softner…not bad! could've been better…but i'm not complaining too much!

    • janamichelle

does this rebate work with online purchases? anyone know?

    • Blessedw3girls

The Seventh Generation website is stating that the rebate limit has been reached and exceeded, and is no longer valid.

    • sarah d

the rebate limit has been reached and there are no more printable. Was anyone out there smarter than me and actually printed one up instead of saving the file as an efile instead of a pdf? Another learning opportunity for me :(

      • couponsyay

Argh, I didn't know it was possible for a rebate limit to be reached ! Totally bummed!

    • bkough

Does anyone have a Seventh Gen. Rebate that they are not going to use? You can no long print them. I will send back a stamp in mail if you would send the rebate to me!!!!

      • rebeccama

I don't have an extra one, but I wanted to know if anyone sent you one. I printed one out and lost it–that is totally not like me.

If someone sends you one, can you copy it, and mail it to me?

I will send you a stamp also :)

        • bkough

          Sorry never got one!

    • anneonline

I found the rebate form on laundry detergent in my Kroger if this helps anyone.

I got upset at Krogers today.
Was I in the wrong or not?

Simply ageless foundation coupon for 5.00 off two products combined that with a B1G1 Covergirl face product but cashier said NO WAY, I argured and lost.

Also tried the same deal (unsuccessfully) with B1G1 Always with a 2.00 off Infinity….

Was I wrong in thinking I could do this?
