    • Sgroef

Curious, for the Staples Easy Rebate, is that something that prints out at the register when you purchase?

      • CJ

It prints out instructions and the rebate number with your receipt to do it online. It is very easy. And once you set it up entering rebates in the future goes even faster.

        • Create4Good

Be sure to keep your receipt! I bought 2 packs of paper with the back-to-school sales, and filled out the online rebate form. I waited and waited, and no check. I finally called them and they showed nothing in their system. THANKFULLY I kept my receipt. After explaining the situation to several customer service people, and quite a bit of time on the phone, they finally got it into the system. I did receive my check, and was very happy I got my paper free, but I am wary of rebates now! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THEM!

    • Tnmanatee

I do have Staples Rewards (and lots of them). Can you use them on the Easy Rebates and end up with cash?

      • Twoods117

I would call customer service and verify bc I have used staples rewards on ink before and did not get the staple reward and percentage back on ink refills bc it was used as a coupon, not a gift card. So I am not sure about the rebates.

        • Kt97

All reward ceertificates are keyed in as a Staples Coupon.

      • savysaver

I think you can use the rewards on anything – even the rebat items because you have to pay for the item up front and then get the rebate via on line.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

yes, you can even if you use manuf Q, rebate still depends on the price that is charged at time of transaction.

    • rachel

Question is the easy rebate a check u get or is it money to spend at staples? If it is “staples” money is it true u can use them to buy giftcards to walgreens or visa etc?

      • CJ

    • Kristi

I have some Staples rewards money from previous easy rebates products (batteries). If I use it on some of the products that issue easy rebates, will I receive the rebate money for those products purchased?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think you can. Rebates do not look at “form of payment.”

    • Jribbot

I bought the laminator at THanksgiving with the same coupon and have been extremely happy with it. I purchased extra laminating sheets from Sam's club 200 sheets for 20.00 which seemed really good. Great price for a great machine–especially homeschooling.

Hi! I've never done easy rebates from Staples, is there a limit? I see several I would like to get that are full rebates. TIA.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

There is a limit of rebates on each item just like Extra bucks at CVS. Each item is differemt; you will need to check advertising-they always say somewhere how many rebates on that particular item you can get.

And there is no limit on rebates you can get in general for getting several different rebate items. In most cases, there are hardly few items run for rebate at any given time/week.

    • Shelleyschu

They are checks now, but will switch over this month to an email that you print out and bring to the store. I am a huge Staples fan since it is close to my house. They are also much easier to deal with than Office Depot.

      • Shelleyschu

Ahh…sorry typed too fast. The REWARDS will soon be in email form. Not sure about the REBATES. But they usually are quick and easy.

    • carrie

I'm also confused about when you can use coupons and previous rewards on new rewards. Last month I did some of the rewards deals and used coupons and now I see on the website where you can track your rewards that I will NOT be getting the full 100% back on the items that coupons were used. But does anyone know if you use rewards to buy new things that you'll get rewards on that you will indeed receive the 100% back in rewards? Also, the same for receiving the 10% rewards on any ink you buy – if coupons were used, they subtract the coupons before giving you your 10% back. I wish it were like CVS ECBs and you could just roll rewards.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

There is some confusion about rewards.

      A) When you receive rewards including fro ink cartridge recycling, and use them to buy new items that should generate rewards otherwise, will not give rewards. In other words, rewards at staples can not be rolled or recycled to get more rewards (like we do at drug stores). The reason being, rewards are just marketing expenses/tactics for Staples and they do not get reimbursed from any manuf. They do that to lure you into their stores so you might buy some other stuff as well.

      B) However, if you use Staples rewards to get items that give you rebate, then you are set. Rewards do not affect rebate reimbursement. The rationale is obvious. rebate is paid for by the manuf and Staples does not have anything to lose.

I have a staples giftcard. Will I get the rebate if I use the giftard to buy the easy rebate items?

    • JLW

Just went to Staples, purchased $50 worth with a $48 reward coupon, submitting rebates for 1 pack pens, 1 pack stickies, 2 bright reams of paper and 2 white reams of paper, 50 dvd pack and 2 packs of black sharpies…………should get back approx $42 in a check……..Thanks Jennie for letting me know.

Here’s another great deal at Staples on a GPS if you need one. The Garmin265WT is on sale for $99.99 after rebate. There’s an online q for $20 off gps units, use code “79990?. That makes it $79.99! (I happened to have $76 in rewards mostly from all those free batteries over the last few months, so I’m out of pocket only $3 !!!)

    • Lesley

Does anyone know if you can redeem the Staples Rewards for an online purchase? We planned to go get the freebies yesterday but my husband ended up working all day and he was going to pick them up today on his way in (there isn't a Staples remotely close to me, unfortunately) but he's sick. =( I really want to use our Rewards from the batteries, etc. to get the rebate items, otherwise we have $50 just sitting there to use.

    • Melissa

Anyone have any idea why I could not use my Staples Rewards today to purchase my Easy Rebate items? I thought I could use my rewards toward the rebate items per all the questions/answers below? I had about $43 worth of stuff to buy and had a $33 reward to use and it was denied with a message to the cashier that said “items not sufficient for coupon” ?? The manager said it was b/c of the fact that all those items were free after the Easy Rebate, so I could not use rewards to pay for them? Anyone else have this problem?

    • tori729

So I totally missed that the free deals were for Sunday and Monday only. Darn.

    • Lisabluedevil

Does anyone know if you can put all of your rebates in one envelope to save postage? Each has a different rebate number, but the same address.

      • Anncarrington84

anytime i have EVER done anything in the same envelope they have not sent me the rebate but for one :( do it online fast and easy and no worries :)
