I'm new to this site and feel silly asking this question but i've watched the tutorials and tried to find the answer and cant, so here goes:

Are these ALL the deals for target regardless of if they are a great buy? Or are these only the items that ARE good deal and should definately be bought?

      Thank you!!!

      • millie

my experience is that jenny tries to put the very best deals on the site. as she says we only want to be the absolute rock bottom price for anything. but don't get so caught up that you buy stuff just because it is a good deal. it is okay to let coupons expire. i only say that because i know people that think just because you have a coupon you have to use it. but like i said she tries to only put the best deals up. hope this helps and i promise once you sort through everything and get more used to how she lists things you are going to love it and have the best time. nothing is more exciting than to come home and see how much stuff you have gotten for free or pennies. good luck!

        • Coupons777

Also, you can send your expired coupons to military bases. That makes me feel better about not using them all. Was brought up not to be wasteful, from the clean your plate era. Anyway, Jenny had a notice a few weeks back about how to send expired Qs to a military base overseas. They get an additional 6 months after exp to use them. What is it called? OCP? Have not sent my first batch yet but getting ready to send within the next couple days.

          • amandab2

where's that info at, i'd love to send mine off as well. plus i don't have kids or cats and i get coupons, someone could use those too.

            • Ready2Save

Try coupontrader at Southern Savers. If you post that you want to trade or donate you just have to post it. People will grab those :)

          • Rlhx2

I also need the info for the expired coupons!! I have been saving them for a while now, so i need to send them in!! Please post info again if possible!! Thank you so much!

      • Michele9775

She usually puts it in the site if it is a sale of 40% or better for all the stores. So if you are out of something it could be on sale so still check the ad. Like millie said, the point is to buy an item at rock bottom prices, and most of the coupons come back as soon as they expire. Also so as she says and clip/save allllllll the coupons. You never know what will come up that will give you overage (Depends, laxitives, eye drops).

        • Coupons777

I have to say I am so thankful Jenny puts all these lists together. There is no way I could figure out where all the deals are without this site. Love Jenny and Southern Savers!

      • elizabeth

First of all, good luck! :)

Second of all, one piece of advice is to take a few minutes to look over the various store ads to get a sense of the deals out there. Personally, I don't run from store to store each week, but on occasion I will go to target for some deals. However, I know myself well enough to know that if I go to target, usually I will get stuck in another department and end up with some other 'deals' I didn't plan on. (ie kids' clothes, shoes, etc)

Also, rarely do I find deals at Target that come close to what I pay at Publix and CVS. For example, today I got lysol cleaner at publix for .34 and a ton of paper towels and tp at CVS with their proctor/gamble ECB deal, very cheap (haven't done the math but much cheaper than target!) But I still keep up with the target ad, months ago there was a fabulous deal on toy story and toy story 2 blu-rays that was unbeatable. You just never know!

I hope this helps. :) Good luck!

      • itismedia

You will become addicted soon! =+)
As for deals, mainly Jenny provides a match up of the ad and coupons and a few unadvertised deals that she or other followers have found. I agree with Elizabeth. If at all possible shop at more than one store. I do find good deals at Target and check the deals just in case, but for the most part I do do better at other stores. The nice thing about Publix is they take competitor coupons. My Publix considers Target a comp. so I can use their store coupons over there and combine it with a man. coupon for a great deal.

It is overwhelming at first so take your time and start small. Years ago when I first started I aimed for 50%. Now I am regularly at 80% or more. Have fun and think of it as a hobby that makes you money, unlike my husband and his golf hobby! =+)

    • Gingiraffe

What is a good zip code to use to get the Gold-n-Plump coupon? Mine doesn't have it. Thanks in advance!

      • Candace

        Try 84123

        • Gingiraffe

Thanks. I ended up going before I checked this response and there were 75 Cents off peelies on the chicken! Not quite as good, but still better than none!

    • Beths5258

You can also get a $5 gift card on the Steig Larsen books when you buy the paperbacks for 5.99 each.

    • Susan W

Recently signed up for coupons from Target via text…got some good ones today for.75 off Easy Mac and .50 off a Target cafe purchase (for when the kids are whining at me to please buy them a slushie). I'm pretty sure that since they're store coupons they can also be used with my manu Qs. Love not having to remember to take them with me. Barcode at the top of the text is scanned by the cashier. LOVE technology!

    • Delleen

I am checking my coupons for the free items listed, but the coupons Jenny has listed shows trial sizes excluded, such as the dove hair care & the Vaseline product shows 3.1 oz or larger. Can I still use them? Thanks!

      • Ashley

This site is a guide. If you find something that's not correct then it can't be used, seeing as how it is not valid for the product.

      • Coupons777

I believe there must be a difference between trial and travel size. Last time I used Qs for the freebies at Target I had one Q said “ex. trial or travel size.” All my other Qs only excluded “trial” size so I did not use the one that excluded travel size and used the rest. Got a bunch of free travel size products. Oh, except for the vaseline. Did not use b/c it said 3.2 oz or larger.

just as an fyi i went to target this morning and bought the BIOTRUE contact cleaner. they had the 10 oz on clearance (with a free contact case inside) for only $4.14. if you print the $2 coupon from biotrue and the $2 coupon from target… .14 cents!! deal of the day for me :)

    • glammyyams

anyone happen to know how much the kelloggs mini wheats are this week at target? they have a $1.00/2 q and i have a $1.00/2 man. q. I was wondering if i could get a good deal that way.thanks in advance!

      • glammyyams

never mind, i found the price in their ad. not a good deal for me.

        • itismedia

Publix has them BOGO this week. If your Publix considers Target a competitor you could use them both there. I am in Savannah, GA and at my Publix they are 3.79 BOGO so 1.79 for two boxes after your Target and Manufacture coupon.

    • Wanda

Where can I find the “Save Big Dream Big” Booklet?

    • Jamieg86

I just purchased my 4 pepsi 12 packs for $13, – 5 register rewards = 4/$8 at Walgreens (in Perry, GA) and wanted to say, make SURE you get your rewards back! They did not give them to me, I had to ask, then they had to review their sales paper, then the manager ended up giving me cash back because he couldn't get the RR to print! All's well that ends well (with cash back!) I just want everyone to double check you are getting your rewards!!

      • Guest

This might be more appropriate in a Walgreens thread, not Target.

        • Brooke82

And? It's not hurting anyone, is it? So rude.

    • Bryarsmom

      2 things:
      * No Glade or Shaving cream at this price at our Atlanta stores.
      * Had a cashier em from #%&*! at lunch today. She went thru all my Q's, then tries to pull the “I can't take this” business when the Q was 1 penny over item price. I told her to enter manually, she didn't like that.
Then refused to take my T $1. Bic and man $1. Bic on the pens. I explained you can use both, per their policy. Nope. Had her take off my order & called corp. on her when I got back to the office. What a nightmare! I normally use Faye, my fav cashier but she wasn't there. Will NEVER go in again unless she's at the helm. Good grief!

      • Shawna

Had a similar experience yesterday. My cashier went through each coupon to verify that I had the items. Then, she was confused about why I had 2 coupons for one item and I had to point out that one was a Target q and the other was a Manu. q and that the policy clearly states that both could be used. She realized this after finally noticing the big as day Target name on the coupon. What could have been a three minute transaction turned into a fifteen minute one. That is why I am starting to avoid Target unless there is a really amazing deal.

    • Jen B

I really want to print some coupons from Target's website, but my computer will not print any coupons from e-centives. I've downloaded their program, and it says the coupons will print, but they never do. I've tried IE and FF. I've tried emailing them to see what the problem is, but they were no help. Does anyone know what you have to do to make them print?

      • Guest

Are you using an account on your computer that is designated as an 'administrator' account? If you're using a user account that does not have administrator privileges, you can't print e-centives coupons. You must use an account with administrator privileges.

If that's not your problem, then the easiest way around it is to check out another site which posts the coupons in such a way that you can print them without going through the e-centives site. I recommend www dot slickdeals dot com. (obviously replace the 'dot' with a '.') Go to their 'deal talk' section and you can find the Target and SuperTarget thread – the second post in that thread has Target coupons posted.

      • Henryknox9

try a different browser, I have internet explorer and Firefox and sometimes I can only get them to print with internet explorer

    • Anonymous

I just read this article about Target and coupons…thought I would pass it along. Had something like this happen yesterday at Walmart and had to go to customer service to have it taken care of to the tune of 2 dollars.

      • Sandy

Interesting article. I find it funny that….

“Target said it didn't know about the coupon problem until WCCO called them.”

Puh-lease! People have been having this problem over and over again for quite awhile. They know, but have done nothing to fix it!

      • Christie

This has happened to me on my last 2 trips to Target. I caught it the first time, but missed it today. I used a coupon that was $2.50 off of 3 Huggies wipes & the amount deducted was only $1.99. They were on sale for $1.99 each, however the coupon didn't state it was B2GO, it was clearly $2.50 off the purchase of 3. So frustrating!

I have had such a hard time at my Target store trying to use coupons. Because of this I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to get my free travel size items. They have a much bigger and better selection of travel items and I was able to use some coupons not listed. To make it even better my cashier was great! She was helping me come up with the best deals and even caught her own mistake on a coupon. I will go there to get my travel size items.

      • mama2009

i was not able to use my coupons at target for the travel size items either, did not know that bed bath and beyond took coupons, thanks for the idea

        • Shawna

I didn't know that about Bed Bath and Beyond either. I know I will be stopping by there to use some coupons from now on.

      • Henryknox9

thanks, I'll try bed bath and beyond too, my target has a slim variety of the travel stuff.

        BBand B take manufacturs coupons?

      • Ariel

If you get the BB&B coupons in the mail ($5 off $15 purchase or 20%) don't throw them out when they expire. They accept their own expired coupons. Not sure why they even have expiration dates. I used 7 of them that I had saved up during one big shopping trip. Everyone of them had expired! I called before going to be sure! Love that!

    • Godlymom71

My Target would not accept any of my coupons for the free items. Even thought their coupons policy allows it.

      • Guest

Next time you're in Target trying to use legitimate coupons and they won't allow it, pick up the nearest red telephone and talk to customer service. (They have them throughout the store) Tell them the situation and that you are trying to use coupons in accordance with Target coupon policy, and they should try to help you straighten out the situation.

Does anyone know where they have skintimate and edge gel for 1.97? Not in AL.

    • Meggie256

I have a $1 target web coupon for bagel bites and a manufactureers coupon for $1 off bagel bites. Will they let me use both on one thing of bagel bites?

      • Shawna

They are supposed to according to policy.

      • Myshell

My Target did in Jax FL. Made them .49 a box.

      • Teej

Yes. I did In Greer, SC AND purchased 4 of them with 4 manu. q's and 4 store q's – in the same transaction! No problem.

    • Laura

I got several of the travel size items free by using coupons last month. I had just learned then that it could be done and thought that was so cool.

But this month I was told “sorry, we can no longer accept ANY coupon on ANY travel size item”.

I don't see anything specific to “travel” size on their websites coupon policy yet…wonder if it's coming.

      • Tina

Target can't just say NO travel size if the coupon doesn't say you can't use it on travel size. They get re-imbursed from the manufacturer so what the heck is the difference between you giving the 99 cents or the manufacturer. Some coupons do say they can't be used for trial size and those you can't use. Sounds like a dumb cashier to me.

    • fashdva

On the clean and clear coupon it sais Travel size excluded but you are saying you can get the travel size. Does this only work for certain stores?

      • Tina

I have the same question. Maybe she has a different zip code to use. But it does say except trial size on this coupon from the link.

Target has several cosmetics on clearance(75%) at my store. I used coupons for Revlon, L'Oreal and Cover Girl and got some really good deals.

    • debbie7021

Sorry forgot to paste the link!

    • Connie Powell

Went to Target today just picking up a few things and the cashier had such a hard time scanning my coupons. She even “jokingly” said next time go to a different register!! Nothing ever changes at Target it seems. Think I should report her to corporate?

      • Lynnpurvines

yes connie i have the same problem even with the manager , one time she even said “they didn't mean for it to be this product” wow target manager's must be mind reader's to know exactly what the brand “MEAN”S' even if the picture was exactly what i bought lol

      • Shawna

I am honestly considering not even shopping there anymore. For the past two weeks straight, I have had problems with the cashier. My coupons were legit and for the exact products pictured on the coupon, but for some reason, either they were not going through or she was questioning the coupon. I had to remind the cashier that I could use a Target q and Manu. q for a single item. I appreciate the cashiers trying to do their jobs and I recognize that it is something going on with their computerized registers. However, I just don't have time for a hassle every time I go! Sorry I just had to vent!

Here is link for info on the Overseas Coupon Program (OCP) — where you can send your expired coupons to military families.

The Target in Greenville, SC had the twin pack AirWick refills with free burner on clearance for $4.88. I was able to get those and use the Target and MAnufacturers coupons. Then I also used the “Free burner with purchase of twin pack” manufacturers coupon. Turned out to be a pretty good deal!
after combining all of my Target and Manufacturers coupons yesterday, I saved $49.75. Pretty good!

I keep having trouble at my SuperTarget with the shelf being marked with the wrong price so after I check out I end up having a battle at the CS desk to get it adjusted. I have a 3 year old so I can't watch everything as it rings up. I am so frustrated with having to deal with this every other week or so. The past week it was a whole rack of Crayloa crayons marked was $1.22 now 25 cents. When I got in the car I realized it rang up $2.14!!! I had to go back in there and argue with the same woman I had to deal with about a hairbrush that was the same situation the week before for $1 difference. I can't give up Target, I live 5 minutes from a SuperTarget but I hate having to watch so closely and the time it takes to correct it. The manager just acts like she is doing me a favor giving me the “corrected price” instead of free like Kroger/Publix do. Any suggestions?????

      • Book Lv1

I have had the exact same problem at my Super Target. I've had to go back 3 times and I have a three year old too so as the cashier is ringing things up I'm trying to make sure he isn't trying to get out of the buggy. I've tried talking to a manager but they either don't call me back or they are in a meeting.

    • Maynardlc

Is anyone else having trouble getting the Target store coupons to load?

      • Jenmvicens

Yes, I was having problems with it earlier, but its working now.
