Here are the deals at Target for the week of 12/27-1/2.  It’s a good ad.  I’m seriously thinking about getting some more storage boxes at $5 ea!  I added a section of trial size freebies this week.  These are not in all stores and are not easy to find either.  Only get these if you are in a good mood and willing to get some exercise walking the store.  (We tried this with three kids in tow, not recommended!)

I just did a search for that Kodak z912 camera and it shows a retail of $389 – and is on sale at target for $129? I can’t imagine this is the same exact camera! Does anyone have any info – if you bought it what did you think?

      • Jenny

The ad shows it as a z915 with 10 megapixels and a 10x zooom with a 2.5″ LCD screen. Don’t know if that helps compare it any better.

      • Abby

Im not sure where you found that info, but retail price is $199. They had it on sale for this price on Black Friday so I did all the research on it then. It really looks like a great camera. Im still bitter about the way it got handled on BF, but oh well…

    • sara

Is the 3 count Rolaids considered trial size? All my coupons say “excludes trial size”

      • Jenny

It is not considered a trial size, but is 3 rolls of 12 or 36 ct total. I think the trial size is 1 roll of 12ct.

    • Kristy

Can you use more than one of the Rayvac batteries coupons? I was able to print multiple copies, but did not know if I would be able to use more than one.

      • jamie

I did this deal a few weeks ago, and picked up 31 packs in one transaction with no problems!!

      • Jamie

As the other Jamie in reply to you, I have been able to purchase multiple packs of batteries at the same time (I pick up a dozen packs or so when I am near a Target)…. Though some of the cashiers tell me that they do not accept printed internet coupons and will not let me purchase my batteries with coupons… while other cashiers don’t say a word about me using multiple coupons….. I think that Target (as with other stores) should make all of their employees follow the same coupon rules.. if the store does not accept internet coupons, then dont accept internet coupons at all… but if the store is supposed to accept internet coupons, then all of the cashiers should be made to take internet coupons.

    • Whitney

When I printed the Pedigree coupon it says it is for 20 lbs or less

      • justoleme

I used that coupon for the 40# bag tonite. The register didn’t prompt for the $5 gift card though. I had to take my receipt to customer service for the card (after about 10 mins of the clerk trying to figure out how to do this).

    • Jessica

i tried purchasing the trial size items at Target tonight and they told me the coupons were not valid for those sizes- I left empty handed :-(

      • Kerrie

Which Tide coupon did you use, assuming you tried to get the Tide?

      • DD

i’ve seen the screen pop up that item is not listed and they just push the coupon through, i guess if you complained enough they would do it for you, but seems like more of a hassle that way, sorry it didn’t work for you :(
i will be trying it tomorrow, so i might get the same thing but hopefully not as my friend says expect the worst, hope for the best

      • Melissa Y

I had a hard time at Target tonight too and left empty handed…I had almost all the items (couldn’t find the Olay at my store). They gave me a real hard time about the coupons so I just told them to give me back all my coupons and I would take my business elsewhere. What I really don’t understand is this, don’t they get reimbursed from the manufacturer for the face value of the coupons? If so Target isn’t losing anything on a .97 cent item when we use a $1.00 off manufacturer coupon, right?

        • Jessica

That what I said- they acted like I was just going to buy them anything. That is all I stopped by for and I was not happy when I left but I was nice to the cashier

          • Jennifer

I had it out with Target today & called home office. The olay bars are not samples that are the 3.5 oz. The coupons can be used & they can price adjust. Print off the coupon policy & take it with you. I will go back tomorrow with it & show them. The cashier was so rude & wouldn’t take then nor the manager that I called home office & filed a complaint.

    • M.P.

Thanks for the great tips. FYI–At my Target, the Rayovac batteries are now 50% off. (As is everything in the Dollar spot).

      • Jamie

at my local target, all of the items with a black dot in the dollar section are 50 cents as well… but it is only the items with the black color dot at the barcode

        • Blyss

I looked and looked and looked NO BATTERIES and the people thought I was crazy for saying they were only $1. where is the dollar spot in DECATUR, AL TARGET grr I looked and looked and left empty handed. I never have a good time when I am at Target though, they always hassle me on my coupons and they DO get reimbersed for them so I dont know why they would drive away coupon customers like that (and yes I did have a hard time stepping foot in there today after the way I was treated last time) but free batteries are free batteries.

    • DD

i’ve been having a hard time trying to get those steaz teaz. I was only able to get just 1 the last time, and this sun, they had something else in it’s place, i hope they will get more soon. mott’s apple juice is 1.79 – $1 coupon (target.com) makes it 79 cents (sweet). we had 3 reusable bags and they didn’t give us credit for it. I guess I need to speak up next time!!! Because of moving I missed out on all of Nov and first half of dec, not to mention that i had the wrong week for the deals when i started again, that really messed me up, so if there was a better deal for the mott’s juice, my apologies. they had the holiday twixler marked down to 2.51 – $1 coupon (target.com) would be $1.51 (i live in Norfolk, VA by military highway).
ps- my husband says i always look lost when i’m looking for those particular items (he hates shopping with me, but he loves the savings LOL)

    • Jennifer

Kmart has 18 gallon storage boxes for $3.50

    • J W

J & J Soap buddies. They would not allow me to use the coupon….said it was not a baby product.

      • Sara B

they tried that with me about the J&J bars. I said “They’re in the baby aisle!” and pointed out that the coupon said ANY Johnson’s product. She finally let it go through but had to adjust it down to the price of the bars, which was 97 cents.

        • sara

I used my coupons on the Bath Buddies at Publix (I think they were $1.09 or something). Still a great deal! It was a nice treat for my 7 yr old. I rarely go to Target but defnitely check here for ideas of some things to look for while I am at Publix!! Thanks!

    • Megan

Anyone have luck finding the Rayovac $1.00 batteries? I checked my dollar spot (twice) and every battery center in the store, along with “home improvement/tools”, electronics, toys, etc.

      • Aleigh

I was just coming on to see if anyone had posted where to find them. I couldn’t find them either.

        • Beckett

I found them on the 12/21 in the $1 bins, at the 2nd target I had to drive to. Both targets close to me are 30 min away. I am going to try to get some more tomorrow. The cashier couldn’t scan the $1.00 off man rayovac and had to manually type it in (6 of them! LOL).

          • Megan M

Found them today at another Target in town (Woodruff Rd in G’ville)……they were in the dollar spot half off and was able to use my full dollar off coupons……so with 3 coupons (printing out more tonight for a return trip) I got a total of eight 9v, 6 D, 4C and 4AAA for $2.30. They were totally out of AA and could only find one pack of AAA by sitting on the floor and digging through every pack of both bins.

    • Dama

ziploc coupon is over when i clicked on the link…

    • Sarah

Acworth, GA Target had Swiss Miss for $1.29 (still not a bad deal), but the Reynold’s Foil was $2.99. I’m going to check a different Target tomorrow to see if the prices are different. Since they aren’t ad items, I’m assuming they’ll fluctuate based on location.

      • Liz

Did you do a price check? I know that at the Savannah, GA store the Swiss Miss price tag said $1.20 but it actually was .97 :)

        • Sarah

I should have! When I picked up the hot chocolate, I thought about it… then by the time I got to the foil I was starting to get ticked… then I forgot the size of my furnace filter…. :)

If the prices look different at the Target near my house tomorrow, I’ll be sure to do that!

      • Stephanie

It really depends on the cashier. I was there last night and got a bunch of batteries and All laundry soap. The batteries were on clearance for .50 cents and the coupons were for $1. The coupons wouldn’t scan so she just manually entered in a $1 off till the computer wouldn’t let her anymore. So my total came out to .99 cents $1.83 with tax. AND she handed me back the coupons that were not used!! It is sad to say, but you kind of have to judge your cashier by there looks. This was a younger girl, very nice. And also the batteries that are on sale are not the exact ones that are on the coupons. The ones on sale are heavy duty and the coupons read akkaline. Good luck!! You can always try again!!

        • Stephanie

Oops I meant to post this somewhere else :)

      • Katherine

The Hiram SuperTarget had the Foil for $1.49 but you have to find the specific packs with snowflakes on them. These specific packs are reduced with the christmas clearance.

    • Krista

The Rayovac batteries at my Target (Gainesville, GA) are on sale for $0.50!!! I got 8 packs FREE!!! Thanks Jenny!

      • k

Did they take 1.00 off or .50? mine adjusted it to .50 …..still was free:)

        • Beckett

Target in mooresville had in $1 bins w/ black dots / half off got 3 AA for 1.50 and took off $1 each coupon…made 1.50 profit on them! Could not find any AAA, going to go back for more later this week. Again cashier had to manually type code in…had a young cashier did not say one word to me. :D

    • Sara B

I had planned on heading up to Target this afternoon… Yesterday was my Walgreens day. I got more John Frieda, Pampers and Dawn, plus my hair dye, which wasn’t on sale, but I desperately needed it LOL, so I spent more than I wanted to, but oh well. Today I hope to do really well at Target!

    • Diane

I checked my Target in Chattanooga and my daughter checked one in Atlanta for Reynold’s foil neither one had them on sale. We both did a price check.

      • Katherine

It is ONLY the Reynolds wrap with snowflakes on the packaging that is part of the Christmas clearance at $1.49. If we could post pics, I would take a pic of mine to show what the packaging looks like!

        • Heather

Thanks for the clarification. Went to Target yesterday and looked all over for the Reynold’s wrap. Did not see it in their flyer so they did not know which one it was.

    • amy

For some reason the target in Mc Calla, Al gave me a $10 gift card when I bought the dog food..it clearly said $5 gift card on the receipt but it also said $10 balance? Some kind of computer glitch!and there is a small yellow dog food pouch by pedigree called “meaty mixers” and it has a coupon on the front that you get that item free when purchasing pedigree dog food. Thank you!

    • Faith

Lowe’s also has storage boxes on sale B1G1 @ $6

    • Theresa

went to Target yesterday (saw a fellow couponer and she asked if I was here for the FREE STUFF too!). I walked away with 4 St. Ives body wash, 2 packs of Rolaids, 1 All Detergent, Dental Floss and got 2 holiday gift tags at 50% and only paid .13 – WOW. The head of security came over to scrutinize my rolaids coupons and read that it you could only use 1 per transaction and then tried to say they were “trial sizes”. The cashier was great and put it in then gave me the full $1 off each of the others. Not too bad for a few minutes in Target!

    • Betty

Made a special trip to Target for the Command @$2.39===nothing cheaper than $3.59—Method products for $2.00 ??? Reyn olds foil for $1.79 ??? Walked out empty-handed–Store in Orlando , Fl

      • Anita

Store in Mt Dora had the Method hand soap (Christmas scents, I like Hollyberry) clearanced for $2.54. You can also use the $2 off Method coupons from the Publix Winter Savings catalog. It states “manufacturer’s coupon”. Bought 4 today, but will try to go back tomorrow before the Publix coupons expire. I couldn’t find the foil either! Still waiting for 75% off too!! Good luck!

    • Betty

Also Xmas clearance was still 50%

    • Lisa

FYI, Green Giant Cauliflower and Broccoli (Fresh) are on sale for .99. If you use the $1.00 off coupon on the Target Website (store coupon) it makes them free. I picked up one of each for free :)

    • Missie Byrd

Is the specailly marked boxes of foil in the food storage area or with the Christmas clearance area?

    • Tamar

I got a few of the items but the manager and cashier wanted to argue with me that the buddie bar’s were not baby products even though they are in the baby aisle plus he said theywon’t accept the coupons because they are more than the price of the product. I didn’t even ask him to make it .97 because they also wouldn’t accept my tide, st.Ives or Olay and I had a huge line behind me. I just tod them ok and thank you and I will try another target tomorrow. This time I will take a copy of their coupon policy, they really need to train their people better when it comes to coupon policy. Hiram SuperTarget is the worst so far. I have dubbed them the “Coupon Nazi’s”. They don’t seem to want to take any and they told me they are “cracking down” on couponers. I am not sure what that meant but it seemed offensive s if we are all doing something wrong because we use coupons.

    • jen

Went to my target today and bought the pedigree dog food without any problems. Went back in and used my 5.00 card plus the 2.00 coupon to purchase another bag. Now I have another 5.00 card to use.
While there I checked out the Christmas at 75% off. They had m&m’s in the sale stuff. $.74 and then used the 1.00 off m&m coupon.
