I just want to say “Happy Birthday”. I just joined this site and have already learned so much! I live in Chicago so I can’t use most of your grocery information, but I do use your tips for Walgreens and CVS. I like your tips about free offers most, ie free ice cream day, doughnut day, coupons for restaurants, etc. I wish I could find a site like yours for the grocery stores we have up here: Jewel, Dominicks, Shop and Save. But until then, I will just keep checking in here. Thank you for all your hard work!

    • Phillis

Jenny, I am new to “Southern Savers” and loving it. My friend, at work, introduced me to this wonderful site. In just my first three trips to the grocery store using coupons I saved over $150 and spent maybe $30. I have been buying items that I would have never thought that I could get free or for pennies. My husband thinks I am a criminal! In his first visit with me for $.47 I purchased 2 bottles of A-1 sauce, 2 packages of chinet plates and one package of toilet paper (no coupon on the paper, but overages practically paid for this item.) He told me that I needed to go back to the store and tell the manager that something wasn’t right. In another trip he told me that ” I was going to get caught.” He couldn’t believe that I purchased $50 worth of groceries for $8. Anyway just want to say how much I am enjoying saving money and thanks for all your hard work. I hope to meet you in Murfreesboro on July 11th.

      Thanks again

    • Charleen

If I could choose a $50 gift card, I would choose to have one from Harris Teeter. I think I could purchase about $200 worth of groceries (during triples) with the $50.

    • Mina

The Pepsi 2 liter deal is even better than that at Kroger for those who live in areas where Dr Pepper is distributed by Pepsi if they still have any of their $1/1 any Dr P q’s from the cherry 12 packs. I’ve been getting 4 Dr P’s and 2 other Pepsi products for $1. Which is 6/$1 or 16 cents each. (I bought 30 12 packs of Dr. Pepper when it was on sale at Publix for 50 cents/12 pack a couple of weeks ago and we are ALMOST OUT! I can’t believe how fast this mob goes through groceries!)

Hi Jenny, I have tried to download the coupon printer, but my AntiVirus/Spyware software keeps blocking it. Any help?

    • Kim

I am new to Southern Savers so I wasn’t sure how to share this info but I just found a great deal today at my vet and wanted to share. Hill’s Prescription Diet and Science Diet $25 Rebate. Here is the link with the form and info.

Jenny, I have been using coupons for about six months and I never knew how much I would actually save. Especially since a lady at my church gave me your website! I have been using southersavers for about three months and I have saved so much on groceries, it’s been amazing! My husband still can’t believe the amount of money I have saved our family! If I was one of the winners of the $50 gift card I would use it a Publix, I just love my local store. Thanks for all your hardwork and dedication-Your site is Awesome!
      Thanks so much,

    • Ang

$50 bucks would buy my family of six at least a week’s worth of food at Kroger.

    • Cassie

Happy Birthday Southern Savers. From since coming to this site I have saved soo much money. I am in the process of making a spreadsheet so I can keep track of my spending. If i could choose a store it would be publix. I know that I can get get between $200- $400 worth of groceries (depending on the sale) with that $50. Just last week i got 40 aquafresh (probably was more) all for free with the $1 off Target coupons. This site is the best. I have checked out some other websites and none of them compares. Thanks again for your hardwork and dedication.

    • Hilary

$50 in free money to use at a grocery store!! Wow – that would be fun! I would definitely go to Publix if I won the money. I think I could get at least $200 worth of groceries with no problem. I’ve always been one for getting a good deal – and this website is really helping me take that “good deal” to the next level! I am really really thankful that I decided to attend that mommies meeting at my church when you came to talk to us. My goal when I started with this website has been to shave $100 a month off of our grocery bill. I have exceded that amount in the first two months and I plan to continue. I keep telling my friends about your site. Thanks so much for all you do.

Thanks Jenny. I have really enjoyed your website and love what you provide us to spend less. Harris Teeter has been the most cost saving to me, I wouldn’t choose another store over them. Thanks again for all you do.

Thanks again for all our hard work, you are really one of my guardian angels. Before I found southern savers I couldn’t stick to my $800 monthly household budget. Now I do food and toiletries for $400 and I haven’t yet taken on the drugstore challenges. Baby steps for me along with consistency. I love that your site is free but if you ever charge a membership fee, I am already a loyal subscriber. (you could get advertising on your site in order to get paid and still keep it free to us.)

      • Jenny

Don’t worry it will always be free! I don’t want anyone to ever get upset because they are paying for something and I missed a deal :)

    • Kelly

Jenny, you’re fabulous! As of a month ago, I’m back into the “swing of things” using my coupons thanks to you. I only had one weeks worth of coupons and downloads and I got $520.00 worth of groceries/diapers/formula/toiletries for $250.00. That fed our family of 4 for 3 weeks! I know I can do better once I get my collections of coupons up!
If I won the $50 gift card, I would use it at Kroger to purchase as much as I could for our local pantry for the needy (God’s Storehouse.) I am already picking up free items and low cost items to donate. It’s a great way, low cost way to help in this economy. Thanks for making it possible for me to give back with your posting these awesome deals! You save me so much time!

    • Hope

If I could pick a grocery store for the $50 giveaway, it would have to be Publix. I think I could get $150.00 worth of groceries for $50.00.

    • steph

FYI, there is a $10 off $50 Winn Dixie coupon in today’s Birmingham News, for those in Birmingham!!! I think WD also doubles coupons, but not sure.

    • Rhonda

Hi, I love this sight…it is so user friendly…I check it everyday! This is a great sight and I have saved so much money here I love it!!!

    • Laurie

I am finding alot when I click on the “printable” link for a particular item, that item’s coupon is nowhere to be found. Is there something I am doing wrong? These are not coupons I have printed before so they have not reached the limit, they just show other products and not the one that is specified by the link. Can anyone help me!!?

      • Jenny

A lot of printable coupons have limits for the entire campaign. They say that they will release x number of coupons or x dollars of coupons and when that amount has been printed they take the coupons down. It is hard for me to know when that happens because I have already printed the coupons so I don’t see them in my list anyway. I would recommend always printing a coupon you think you might use when you see it rather than when you need it.

Hi Jenny – I recently came to your seminar at Marathon church here in Greenville. I am very new to this couponing and still learning the ropes, but I have faith that I too will soon be getting items for free and saving money. It is very expensive to feed my family of 5 and I am excited in the fact that spending less is achievable. I would love the $50 gift card so that i can start my couponing journey.
      Thanks for your insight.

Hi Jenny – I am very new to this couponing way of shopping. I recently attended your seminar at Marathon Church here in Greenville and I left very excited and motivated. I can not wait until the day when I purchase something for free!!! Not sure when that may be but I am confident that I too will be able to achieve. Thanks for all your insight. I would love to win the $50 gift card so that I can start this couponing journey.

Hi Jenny — My Bi-Lo manager paid me a compliment the other day, after I used a stack of coupons on my grocery order, he said, “Now aren’t you the one that just gave the coupon seminar last week??” I’m in the Greenville, SC area — and it was the seminar that you held here that he was talking about – tehe. Guess I must look like an expert!!
