    • Tammy

Guess I will be making a trip to ToysRUs tomorrow! Awesome deals

    • Caity

Do you happen to know if the forms can all be mailed in together or do they need separate envelopes (and thus separate stamps)?

      • kaseyshadow

it's one form that has a list of all the games that are participating in the rebate. It says up to $118 in money back on the form.

    • Laurakc181

I was actually thinking about this very same scenario! Except in mine I would do the $9 game so I still have it at $35 for the gift card, but a $1 less you pay in your original transaction :)

    • andrea

Was this ad in the Sunday paper? It wasn't in my AJC?

      • AK

It was on the Toy R Us booklet in AJC same as picture above.

    • Tracyjorg

could you use the same 'deal' twice and still be qualified for the other $10 gift cert for spending $75 in the store??? hmmm….

    • Mindykyle

Do you know if the deal is one game per household? Can you buy all the games on the same receipt and then turn that in for the refund? Thanks

      • kaseyshadow

It's limited one per household. You can only submit for one rebate per game title. However, you can use one rebate form for all the games and you only have to submit the reciept. Wow, I hope that's clear.

    • I don't know about this year, but last year it was limited to one rebate per household. It is a great deal and plan on doing it again this year. We love games and have lost the pieces to some. LOL You can afford to buy them again at this price.

    • Hyder5

I went this morning and bought Candy Land,Chutes & Ladder,Memory,Ants in the Pants.Cashier rang all up before she hit subtotal, games were $48.92. So I was able to get the $10 gift card. Subtotal with sales $16.96 plus $10 mail in rebate. I made $3.00 off this transaction.

      • Jessica

wow so I guess it doesnt have to be 35.00 after the sales then to get the GC? man I hope they still have some left when I can get up there tomorrow!

      • JZig

i went this morning right when they opened. i did 2 transactions- first was candy land, chutes and ladders, memory and monopoly- it was about $21 but she said the computer prompted her to give me a gift card from the original subtotal. so i did another transaction with ants in pants, dont break the ice, cooties, and dont spill the beans- again about $22 OOP with a $10 gc. my friend was with me and decided to get madden 2011 and it was $60 with a $20 gc- they held her hasbro games and we went back after 6 hours for the gc to work and the computer no longer prompted a GC….i then tried to repeat the exact purchase i made and it didnt work….wonder if they caught on to their mistake and fixed the registers!!

        • Melissa

They must of caught on because I did 2 transactions the 1st on was 56 dollars and no gift card and the second was 42 and no gift card. After they hit total it dropped to 14 dollars and told me I had to get more games to get to 35.

        • Laurakc181

Were you using the GC as payment? I think that is what the problem is….just an FYI :)

    • kgriffin14

When did the toys r us ad come out? I'm in Charlotte and it wasn't in our paper today. I'm assuming you need the $10 off coupon.

      • EricaS

I went there yesterday and the card was given to me at the end. I did not need a coupon to get the gift card.

      • tori729

I don't think you need the ad… but if you do I'm sure you could get one at the store.

    • Carrie_keller

Make sure to ask for the rebate form OR look for one around the toy section. My Toys R Us has multiple sections and I didn't see a rebate form. I just assumed I could come home and print it–Wrong! I live 5 minutes away so no biggie for me. Just make sure you ask or get it before you leave!!

      • tori729

Jenny posted the link to the form so I don't think you have to have one from the store…

    • Do you know what the dates are for this ad?

      • Jessica

the date of the ad is Nov 7- Nov 13

    • Cjaj

I can order all the games on line and I printed off the rebate for off online also but how do I know if I will get the gift card?

      • ChrissyPunkin

        This is in-store only.

    • dkshipp57

I hope u haven't ordered. I just read the fine print it says

In Store ONLY. Sorry. I would lov to do that also. I live 35 minutes 1 way.

    • Corb1232001

The gift card takes 6 hours to activate though! Bummer. No quick turn-around, but still a GREAT deal!

    • jen

I'm confused. All the games that offer rebates are Milton Bradley games. The add says the gift card is for $35 spent on Hasbro games. The games listed in the top half of the add are a combination of MB, Hasbro, Parker Bros, etc.
Are people able to get the gift card on games that *aren't* Hasbro?

      • Carlene

Good point. I would like to know this too.

        • D6140peterson

I was confused too, so I went on the Hasbro site and searched games…all of these games came up on their site…so they must be part of the same company…? I am not positive here…

      • tori729

Apparently Hasbro bought MB… see Wikipedia.

    • Miraiys

Does TRU still have the discount on a new game when you trade in an old one? Would we be able to use it for this?

    • Wendy_clifton

How long does it normally take to get the rebates back?

    • April

We went and got 4 games costing $20 and still got a gift card.

      • Laurakc181

I heard that they give the GC for $35 in games before sale prices….so they might be on sale for $3, but if they were regularly $5 that is what it counts as for the GC…..I am going to go get mine before they figure this out ;)

        • JZig

i posted below- i went this morning and did 2 transactions, then i went back 6 hours later after the GC activated and the register didnt give me a GC….i canceled the transaction!! i still might buy more since its still a great price to restock my toy closet and have some toys for a salvation army angel!

          • Laurakc181

You know…if you use the GC to buy more games might be what your problem is….sort of like the Walgreens things – it might cancel out the GC….try it again without the GC as your money to pay for it…it might work that way!

    • Rileyandbraydensmom

i'm pretty sure they base it on the original price of the game to get to the 35.00, not the sale price. i only bought 20.00 worth and got the gc too.. good deals!!

    • Rileyandbraydensmom

i was confused on the milton bradley and parker brother thing too… but if you look on the back of all of those it has the hadsbro icon on it… so i guess hasbro owns all of them. CRAZY!

    • Chbucchino

Don't forget to use your rewards r' us card or get one if you don't have one!! Until Christmas Eve you'll get 10% of your purchases back as rewards certificates, instead of having to accumulate the usual $150 for a $5 certificate.

    • Bholmes75

I did exactly what she said except I got trouble instead of guess who and got my $10 gift certficate.

    • Blonderw03

Does anyone know if you can take advantage of this deal online? The nearest Toys R us is about an hr away lol Thanks in advance for your help!! I see the sale online and the offer for the rebates but was curious concerning the giftcard!

      • Blonderw03

nvm found my answer—in store only

    • Jennapiazza

It apprears that the $35 you have to spend in order to get the gift card is before sale prices. I only spent $22.26 out of pocket for 5 games and still got the gift card. This makes it only $2.26 total for my purchases after the gift card & rebates. If you choose the cheaper games, like Candy Land & Chutes & Ladders, you could even make money!

    • Couponlover10

      Awesome. Can't wait to shop

    • Jennie

I just went to the Warner Robins, GA store and they would not award the gift card on pre-sale prices. It was only based on the subtotal after sale prices. It's still a great deal, but I wish I'd had the luck everyone else had!

      • Ecm

After sale prices in Charleston, SC also.

    • Jenn

I purchased Trouble, Memory, Hi Ho Cherry-O, Chutes & Ladders, Cootie, 2 Candy Lands, and Don't Break the Ice for $16.99 after rebates and gift card. They are also offering a free Chocolate Monopoly or Chocolate Scrabble with the purchase of certain Hasbro games (Trouble being one of them). Though they were out of stock at the time, they told me to keep my receipt and try back later in the week. If I can get the free Scrabble, that will be 8 games for $16.99 (including tax)…only $2.12 a piece!

That isn't as good as Jenny's scenario, but they were out of the regular Guess Who game. The $10 gift card was based on prices after the sale. Not complaining here though…where else will you get a chance to grab some of these games at such wonderful prices?!?!

      • Jenn

Correction…that will make it 9 games total *if I go back for the free Chocolate Monopoly or Scrabble*. That comes out to $1.89 a piece :)

        • JZig

the chocolate monopoly is actual chocolate!! also, you need two different addresses for the candy lands since its one per household :)

      • Laurakc181

The $10 GC was given to me for the original price of the games…not the sale price….btw :)

    • harmony84

I had my scenario all planned out, got to the store and they didn't have two games I wanted…..got flustered; the sales clerk was confused as well as me:) Any way I ended up with six games @ $3.16 a piece. Not as great as Jenny but I'm pleased. I will be giving these to a local family in need for Christmas. Great deal!!

    • Lisa

I just bought 40.00 worth of games and paid 18.00 (sales prices). About to send in rebate card. Will be getting back 8.00. So the games, all together, only cost me 9.00. This is my first time ever doing it this way. Only if my other Christmas purchases can be sooooo rewarding!!!

    • Jessheartscoupons

YAY for Jenny!! I love SS!!!

I bought Candy Land, Chutes & Ladders, Cootie, Don't Break the Ice, Memory, Ants in the Pants, Hi-Ho Cherry-O, & Don't Spill the Beans. My total OOP was $36 for sale prices, I got a $10 giftcard, and I'll submit for $18 in rebates! 8 games for $10!! $1.25 each!

      • Tanyalulu

I just tried to do the exact same thing, but the gift card wouldn't ring up. Luckily, they gave me one anyway. I think it was because they are not all hasbro games.

    • Tempa

do you have to present anything to get the $10 gift card or is it automatic when you spend $35 or more?

    • Thegoodkim

I tried it- bought 36 in games, qualified for the $10 gift card but when the cashier added the gift card the price kept going up to 46. He said it was a scam from Hasbro that you were actually paying for the gift card. He even called a manager at another store and she saif the same thing. He “returned” somethings just so I could still get a $10 gift card but now it has messed up my rebates. He said he was told today is the last day they are doing this because they keep running out of the games.

    • couponkim

I did the deal last night. Tons of games right in the front of the store. Rebate form in the game aisle. The register automatically prompted the cashier to give me the gift card. Awesome!

    • couponmom3

I didn't get the gift card. The cashier said the game I bought were Milton Bradley (all but one) and not Hasbro. I showed her that the rebate said they were all Hasbro games, but they still wouldn't give me the gift card. I called customer service and they are looking into it and I hope they will be sending me my gift card.

    • tori729

I messed up; the Monopoly game was $11 so I got the Monopoly Jr one which was $9… but the rebate doesn't cover that one. I'm going to call and see if they will accept it but I'm thinking I'll have to make another trip. :(
Oh, and they had to manually do a GC for me, don't know why my total was exactly $35.

    • I went in today during lunch and had some problems getting the $10 gift card. After finishing my purchase I asked about the gift card since I wasn't given one and was told that the computer system said the deal ended YESTERDAY. The store ad said it was while supplies lasted and they still had a sign on the ailse so they pretended that it was super nice of them to go ahead and give it to me. So aggravating. They did something funny with my order to give it to me – I beleive they put $10 back on my debit card and put it on a gift card instead! Works for me. But I need to go home and study it because that is not how they described it…did I mention I ALWAYS have problems with Toys R Us.

    • Cfhullsharp

I went to do the deal today and was told that an email was sent out yesterday stated to NO longer give out $10 gift cards…and the ad does read “while supplies last”

    • Basketballdiva12

When I did this special today, the lady at the register said they ran out of the rebate forms and when they tried to print them online she said they had pulled the rebate form. I am wondering if she just made this up? anyone else have this problem?

      • Marygreen_rn

I have an extra if you can’t find it; I printed one and it printed a little lite so when I saw the original in the store, I got it to send in. If you need one, though I can mail you the printed one. This is my email address at hotmail.com

    • Marygreen_rn

I was still able to do the deal last night at the store in Franklin, TN. The cashier went over to the customer service and got the GC after I asked about it and they added it and then took the value down on 1 item $10. Ended up getting 6 games for $38.xx minus the $10 GC, minus $13 in rebates. So $18 including tax for Ants in Pants, Don't Break the Ice, Don't Spill the Beans, Chutes & Ladders, Hi Ho Cherry-O, and Bop-It. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE ORIGINAL GAMES, not a different version, those aren't included in the sales and I had to switch mine out.

    • A Jowers

I bought all the same games that Jenny has on her deal idea in Jacksonville, FL on wednesday. I even bought the original games. Not any of the character games. It come up to $38.52. I got a rebate form at costumer service. Went out to my car & was putting the games in the car and I realized they didn't give me a GC. I went back in to the store to costumer service desk. I had my sales ad with me. I showed it to the girl at costumer service. She checked out my reciept. She radioed in why aren't the Hasbro games promo coming up. The lady she radioed into asked are they all hasbro games. She looked up on the computer & said they were all hasbro. She just wrang up that I was returning Guess Who. I still have Guess in the car. I got back $10.69 in cash instead of a gift card. I even got back my original reciept so I can summit my rebates. Their must be something up with the GC not coming up on their computers when you buy them. After all of this I bought another item seperate from the games. I had a cute out in the sales ad paper if you spend $75.00 dollars or more you get a $10.00 GC. I used this on the other item I bought and it shows up on my reciept as Gift Card Promo. The games promo doesn't show anything on my reciept.

    • Isabela50

FYI – Milton Bradley was bought by Hasbro in 1984. So, regardless of which brand is on the box they are all Hasbro. I had to argue this with the manager of the Montgomery, AL store for 30 minutes on Wednesday to get my gift card.
