      Don’t forget about the $5 off $25 printable http://trus.imageg.net/graphics/media/trus/94038709130926_Cpn.pdf

    • Karenleto1

Jenny….here is alink to a $5 off $25 purchase to match up with this deal…you will need a filler item of about 2.99 to get the deal :)

    • ACW

Don’t know if this will help anyone, but the Hasbro site (http://www.hasbro.com/games/en_US/shop/special-offers.cfm) has a second coupon available for “$4 Off a PICTUREKA!, OPERATION, CONNECT 4 or GUESS WHO? game”… It does not restrict the travel games, which I found priced at $6.99 (Travel Connect 4) online, and these are included in the Hasbro B2G1 sale.

    • AshleynFlo

The Sorry game at my TRU was priced at $16.99. I did not see one that was priced

      at $7.99.

      • kaseyshadow

The games were regularly $16.99 except monopoly which was $12.99 (in SC). When you scanned to check the prices they rang up $7.99.

      • melissa

Some of them, are the “travel” edition at my store

      • Andi

I scanned mine in the store and it came up at $7.99. They're on sale until 9/25 – that's what the price scanner said anyway.

    • kim

FYI – our Toys R Us i Ohio will not accept printable coupons. Maybe the policy has changed, but just a heads up in case you are making a special trip.

    • LindaAnne

Where do you find the third coupon? The printable only allows two prints.

      • Klp3q

You can print a third if you have another computer.

        • melissa

The Usa insert has them :)

    • Rgrove1mom

Even if you have no need for them personally, it would be a great way to buy ahead for Christmas giving to groups who collect toys for needy children.

    • Couponkt

Awesome! My four year old is ADDICTED to his Tag. We will definately use these!

    • Julie

Our local paper had the $4 off Monopoly Q's in the Parade or USA can't remember which one.

    • kaseyshadow

I used 4 of the $4.00 Q's (used my laptop and my desk top) and I had a $5 Q from something else and I used the $5 off $25 that is on this site. MY OPP for 6 games was $7.88. One of my best deals ever!

      • Ashton

        Where is the $5 off $25 Q?

        • Rivera Kelli

You can also find the coupon here

Bought 3 tag books today and the total was just $12 after tax!!! Yippee! Merry Christmas!

        • kaseyshadow

On the side bar that list the current topics you can go to the “next” page. It's either on that page or the next one.

          • cheryl

I can't find it. I searched it too. Nothing came up.

            • melissa

Go to thethriftymama .com and search in her search bar ” Toys R Us $5 off $25″ It comes right up with direct link :)

      • JillSaver

What other games did you purchase and where did you find the $5.00 coupon from something else?

    • Laura

I saw all Play-Doh and Melissa & Doug for B2G1 as well. Not a bad deal if you combine with the $5/25 Q :)

      • I think there are even some Play-Doh coupons out there somewhere that are still current… Hmmm…

    • Judyj200

ToysRUs could be giving away toys, and I would not make a purchase in their store. They have a terrible exchange/return policy. Last Spring I attempted to exchange a Transformer (approx. $12 item) with the receipt within a week of the purchase. They would NOT exchange or refund my money, stating the Buy 1/Get 1 for 1/2 off offer was expired. What did that have to do with an exchange? I took my complaint all the way to the corporate offices. While they promised a reply, I never got one. Just can't do business with a company like that. Just beware.

    • Aimeemohler

$5 Leap Frog leapster coupons in SC papers!! Can't wait to get new games for Christmas!!

    • Ghitt84

Does anyone know of any good deals on the Tag pens? I had several Tag Books and a Tag pen donated to my classroom but I really need another one. I am trying to find the best deal I can on it since I will be buying it out of my own pocket!

      • melissa

My store had huge clearance bins all over the store, and the ones right near the Tag stuff had tons of Tag clearance pens in it. ..$3 I believe

      • sherbear1111

Keep watching Toys R Us. They usually put the tag pen on sale at 1/2 off about every 4 to 6 months.

    • Sweet deal on the board games! I see future Christmas presents!

    • Jennlaw03

Cool! I got my son the Leapfrog Pen and 2 books already for Christmas or Bday.

    • melissa

I'm glad Jenny posted this so quick after I emailed her, cuz my store was packed! Oh my goodness!
      We got
      1 Pictureka game
      1 sorry game
      1 connect four
      (3) $4 off coupons
      (1) $5 off $25 coupon (printable online…)
      Total was just $11!
So excited I may go back and repeat…
and everyone, if you reach your print limit on coupons, the original paper ones are in the Sunday Paper :)

      • Christina

        which sunday paper?

    • melissa

Jenny's Target ad has another link for $4 off coupons for Hasbro games :)

      • B Brown04

Thanks for posting this! I needed two more so this worked perfectly!

    • binky

      is this right? brain fart…lol

      4 games @ $8 = 32

      – $5/$25 = 27

      -8 (b2g1) = $19

      -(4) $4 off coupons = $3

      really $3 for 4 games….did i do this right?

      • binky

sorry i mean $7 for 4 games, right? couponing is hard work…lol

        • binky

no it is $3…im confusing myself…lol so sorry guys

          • Jennifer

            Looks right to me!

My plan is to get 6 games…

            6 games @ $8 = 48

            – $5/$25 = 43

            -16 (b2g1* 2 @ $8 each) = $27

            -(6) $4 off coupons (6*4=24) = $3

This will add to my pile for the salvation army toys for tots campaign!!

            • binky

thanks babe even better…lol my brain is fried… thanks again!

      • paulawells

        which games are for 8.00?

        • melissa

          some of the travel ones

      • melissa

Ok, even though my 3rd came up free, the cashier said i was allowed to use a coupon on it…

      • Andrea

This won't work out as you have written – as least at my store it didn't. The $8 for the b2g1 will come off automatically before you even hand over the coupons, bringing your total below $25 so you won't be able to use the $5/$25. That's what happened to me :( I'm new to couponing so I didn't even catch this when I wrote my scenario down on paper. I wanted to let others know so that they don't make the same mistake.

Also, if any of you have bought the card games in the past with the $5 coupon inside, those work great for this deal. I used 2 of mine for the Sorry game and the Monopoly Champion (which was on clearance at my store for $9.98).

    • JenniferE

I bought 3 Tag books and 3 Leapster games. I had 3 coupons for each ($4 for the books and $5 off the games) for a total of 6 coupons. Since the promo was B2G1, I was only “technically” purchasing 2 books and 2 games, getting 1 each free, so TRU only let me use 2 Tag book coupons and 2 Leapster coupons instead of all of them. I used the $5 off $25 from this site though. All in all, still a good deal.

    • paulawells

How do you get 5 off 25 coupon?

      • gmramom
      • melissa

search on thethriftymama .com for 5 off 25 toys r us..comes right up :)

        • donna

Plz help! i cant find coupon on the thriftymama – also how can i get 3rd printable q on hasbro games. t was only allowed to print 2

          • itismedia

Each ISP number (computer) can only print two. This allows everyone the opportunity to get the coupon without just a few people getting all the alloted prints. To get a third you would have to use a different computer.

          • Christine

There are more in today's USA Weekend insert in the newspaper.

            • Shortbutsweet30217

Christine, the USA Weekend insert from yesterday has the coupon for the board games?? I can't print the printable one, it says I've already reached my limit although I haven't printed any. =(

          • melissa

On thethriftymama's site type this exactly in her search bar
            “$5 off $25 toys r us”

          • melissa

For the 3rd printable…go to Jenny's “target ad” for this week…there's more links for hasbro games. ALL hasbro games are included in the TRU sale

      • Robin

Jenny posted it a few days ago. Just search “toys r us” in the search box at the top of this site and you will see it.

    • rainy

Does anyone know if the $5 off a Leapster game coupons work with the Leapster Explorer games?

      • Megan

I used a similar coupon in either late July or August on the Explorer games at TRU at their b1g1 1/2 off so it should…I'm planning to do this deal with for the explorer.

    • Lei

      What's the coupon policy there?

    • Rjcj10

      Did I miss Friday Finals???

      • Bartontj

They were never put up this week! I look forward to them every Friday Night, sure did miss them!

        • Rjcj10

Just checking. I thought I missed something. I always look forward to checking them on Friday nights too and go shopping on the weekend. Sure hope they're back next week!

    • tarheelbaby1

I just bought the Tag books in store. They rang up at full price $13.99 though (not $10.99). Still with the $5/$25 coupon and the B2G1 free sale, I still got all three for $10.98 plus tax, which I consider a good deal. Just FYI.

    • Efjmoney

Don’t forget the $5 off $25 coupon Jenny posted about last week! Here’s the link:

    • Erin

Don't forget to use the $5 off a $25 purchase coupon!!
Just got all my Tag books and Leapster games for Christmas!

      • memine

can you post your scenerio for us? thanks

    • tarheelbaby1

I just purchased the Tag books in store. They rang up $13.99 (not $10.99) but with the $5/$25 coupon and the B2G1 sale, I still got all three for $10.98 plus tax, which I consider a good deal. Basically 3 for the price of 1 on sale. Very happy since my daughter's fourth birthday is approaching.

    • Curious

Does anyone know if the coupon is good on Tag Junior books as well??

      • Patty

The Tag book price listed above at $10.99 is for the Tag Junior Books and you can use the coupons on them.

    • Nmckeown

went to toys r us last night and those games were all priced at 16.99 (augusta, ga)

      • tarheelbaby1

Same for my store. The Tag books were $13.99 too. I got them anyway since I had the $5/$25 q and the Tag q's. Didn't go for the games.

        • tarheelbaby1

Oh, and I'm in Charlotte, NC.

      • rebecca

When they ring up they are $7.99

    • Jody

Monopoly, Sorry & Scrabble rang up 7.99 at my store (Ft Myers, FL) even though the price on the shelf is more. There are different versions of each and only the ones pictured in Sunday's ad are marked down. I bought one of each and paid $4.94 oop! I will keep Scrabble for my daughter and give the other two to Toys for Tots. Thanks Jenny!

    • Felinafeathers

I printed the coupons for the games, however it would only let me print 2. Has anyone else had this issue? Even with that it is still a great deal, $2.66 per game.

      • melissa

scroll down in the comments for a link to another coupon! And check your sunday paper yesterday for more print coupons

      • julie

I didn't find the games to be priced at 7.99 like it said here. They were about 15.00 for the games. Not a good deal.

    • Sadieky1974

Ok this may sound like a dumb question but the first deal here says to use 3 of the printable coupons. The link will only let you print 2. What's up?

      • Shortbutsweet30217

Not a dumb question at all :-) As with most coupons you can only print two per computer. To print three, you will have to use two different computers.

      • Jenny might have also been keeping in mind that there were $4 coupons available in most Sunday paper's Parade or USA weekend magazines.

    • Tammy

Ths Sorry and connect 4 travel games are included in the B2G1-I bought 3 for gifts used 3 $4 coupons. So I got all 3 for $2 plus tax!

      • didn't think to look @ the travel editions….good to know! Were they in the same section as the regular games or in a diff area?

    • Wilma Reynolds

I tried to print the $4 off coupon for Hasbro board games, and got the message that I've already printed it the allowed number of times. I haven't printed the coupons at all. Can anyone tell me how I can print it?

      • Melanieplynch

I got the same message about already having printed it the number of times allowed even though I've never printed these before. Does that mean the limit has been reached?

    • guest

FYI – the TAG pens are $10 off on Amazon right now – making them $29.99 and eligible for free shipping. I used gift cards from SwagBucks and from cashing in my coins for Amazon gift cards at Coinstar to purchase it. =)

      • Bhlmes75

I didnt' see where it was $10 off

        • Rose

Tag items over $30 will have $10 come off instantly when you go to check out.

          • Rose

To clarify… Participating items that are $30 or more (combined or separate) will have $10 come off instantly. I just bought the pen. Regular price $39.99… price I paid was $29.99.

    • Beepampered

Ugh. It says I have printed the limit even though I haven't printed any now. I did print some last fall (I think) but haven't printed any since then. I know I can find another computer but this is strange. Thoughts?

      • Wilma Reynolds

I got the same message, and I don't have another computer to print the coupon. Bummer!

    • Melissa H.

Does anyone know if the Tag coupons will work for Tag Jr Books?

      • they do :) I just bought 6! those are actually the ones that are priced @ $10.99 at my store.

        • Melissa H.

Thank you so much! Those will be great for Christmas gifts! If you don't mind me asking….how much were the books each after your coupons?

          • for 6 books (with 5 $4 off coupons…and 1 $5 off $25 coupon) with tax it was 21.88….so it made it 3.65 per book…woulda been less if I coulda found/printed one more $4 coupon but I only have 2 computers so 4 from printing and one from the paper)!

        • Same HERE!

    • TP1431

I can't get the games coupons to print. can someone send me the link so I can print them out.

    • Coleman19972000

The Tag website is offering a free tag book if you register.

    • Aprila1626

      I bought 3 10.99 and 1 13.99 had my $5 off $25 and 3 $4 coupons.. got all four for $21 !!!

    • Beag

The store in Buford, GA would not allow me to use more than 1 coupon per transaction!!! I had 3 tag book and 3 games and he said I'd have to ring them all up separately. Grrrrrrr. He was rather rude as well. I don't think he knew what he was talking about. Said since they were all the same coupon……????? I was annoyed and left with nothing. :( anyone know where I can find they're coupon policy?

      • Bholmes75

        how annoying

      • jacksmom

I bought these today at the same store and they allowed me to use 6 coupons on one transaction. No problem. They can be annoying at that store, though.

      • gary

Buford is one of the worst Toy's R Us stores I have ever been to! I was going to try there today also but they gave me problems so I left everything at the counter! I understand the GRRRRRR!

        • guest

I just tried to call the Buford store to ask if I could use more than one coupon… a woman answered, told me she was trying to make a phone call, and hung up the phone. Ugh!

      • Tracey

They did the same thing to me at the Buford store. I too left with nothing and then went to the Pleasant Hill Store. The clerk there was MORE than nice about it. She let me use all 3 Leap coupons for the tag, my 3 Hasbro coupons, 2 coupons for free Playdo w/ purchase, and my 5off 25. In all I got 140.00 worth of Christmas goodies for 60.00. I will not ever be back to Buford after how I was treated there. I did call corporate but I am sure nothing will get done so I will take my money somewhere else.

        • Beag

off to pleasant hill i go………

          • Ashley

Tracey, where did you get the free playdo coupon? Just wondering if it was recent or something you got a while ago. Thanks :)

    • Christina

I would go online to Toys r us to get a accurate price point.

Tag Books average about 13.99 and Leapster Game 24.99, With all the coupons, you get a great deal.

Just brought three games and used 5*3 leapster coupons, and $5.00 off $25.00, I am Happy.

    • ncmtngrl
    • Jackiek

my store would not accept the coupons saying that the coupon says 'limit one coupon per purchase”. I got into an argument with the store clerk who called another store manager who told me that they NEVER combine any deals, especiallyl since the games were currently on sale. I am SO frustrated. They were rude. I called corporate, but i am just so flustered.

      • Beag

same situation happened to me and they were sooooo rude!!!

      • Jackiek

i called another toys r us and asked them if they accepted manuf. coupons and they said sure. i said, even if the product is on sale??? they said again, sure. I told the girl at the store earlier that i knew it was a corporate policy and i would understand if the stores were franchised and each store had their own choice whether to accept them or not, but they are not. its just uneducated clerks who think they have a higher power by denying us the use of proper coupon use. the clerk at the store that denied me said she uses coupons at the store, but NEVER uses more that one coupon especiallly if the item is BOGO…i told her she was MISSING THE WHOLE POINT OF COUPONING in the first place!!!! She told me that she knew that i was breaking the rules by doing that….so dumb.

      • brendaz

same thing happened to me and I called Hasbro and asked them to explain the wording on their coupon. The woman was VERY clear that combining w/ other deals has NOTHING to do with a sale price. It has to do with using another coupon. The hasbro supervisor cracked up that the toysrus people would think that. She said “isn't that the whole point of using a coupon? to get a good deal?”. She is sending me clarification from the promotions team to print off and take to toysrus so that I can attempt to explain to them how their thinking is wrong. They basically told me that they would not receive the $4 from the company for the coupon b/c the item is on sale. They also tried to explain to me “See, that's how coupons work. They send us money afterwards.” ………

    • Laray

Has anyone tried to buy the games at the Athens, GA Toys r us?

    • Bethshoemaker78

there is also a $5 off coupon on Leapster games. They are also B2G1. Makes it about $10 per game when you use the Toys R Us coupon plus 3 Leapster coupons.

    • Aflmom

I had the same problems as others using the coupons at our store. Accused me of copying them, then said their registers wouldn't take 3 coupons, and the purchase/transaction spiel, and so on. Oh, and the one person said she doesn't use coupons because people abuse them–implying I was abusing the system. I explained at least with the coupons the store will get $4 + 0.08 for the game they're giving away. I wrote corporate, but I doubt that I will be doing any Christmas shopping there!

    • mamacita

I used 3 of these 4$ off coupons today plus the 5$ off 25$ and left the store with three tag books for $12.59. It was a great feeling!

    • $avin'some$

HOLY SWEETNESS! I bought 15 books today in 5 different transactions (went to the video game counter to pay where there was no line and the cashier didn't mind at all!) For each transaction I bought 3 books, used three $4 off coupons and a $5 off $25 making my total for all 15 only $63! That was $225 dollars worth of books! Thanks Jenny!!!!!

    • shellito1012

I almost dread couponing at Toys R Us in Huntsville, AL. They always seem to give me a difficult time. I too got the “those are duplicate coupons.” They I tried to point out that even though the bar code was the same, the pin numbers were all different. Regardless, they called management and we waited for ten minutes and no one showed up. Then the clerk finally waved down another manager and he said “what is the problem, she bought six games, she has six coupons.” I had to explain to her that everyone who came in with a coupon for the Monopoly/Hasbro games was going to have the same bar code and that the pin number is what you need to go by to determine if they were duplicate. I still think they thought I was trying to scam them…..they ended up taking all my coupons and $5 off $25 and I got six games for $5.12. We are giving them all to charity.

    • Lanichols33

VERY disappointed… I can't even print the $4 coupon, it is saying I have already printed them, which is not true… any ideas??

    • Nancybgood14

      limit reached on the games.

    • Cheryleure

When I tried to pring the $4 Q for the games yesterday.. It kept saying that I had already printed ..which I hadn't. This morning it says the campain is over..

    • Frequent TRU Shopper

When you go to Toys R Us ask them for the Coupon Policy SOP. They'll gladly print it for you.
      Read thoroughly and you'll understand.
Toys R Us will not take no more than one coupon per transaction if all of the same.
      Quite annoying isn't it?

      • Frequent TRU Shopper

If all items are the same*.

    • Tiya

Has anyone in Anderson, SC tried this with the tag books? Just wanted to know before I went in. TIA.

      • Tiya

I went today and got 6 games for $25. Then went back and got 3 WWE men and a WWE ring for $27. The ring alone was normally $19.99. I am thankful for this site. I am starting my early Christmas shopping.

        • Tiya

I meant to say Tag books. Sorry!

    • Amg625

Has anyone tried this in Savannah?

    • Brenna

Your prices are way off… The games START at $16.99. Total OOP ends up being at least $25.

      • JL

I am looking at the add at it says “Hot price $7.99 ea.”

      • MyBoxoRox

There are different “versions” of the same games that do cost $16.99, but there are cheaper versions for $7.99. Your store may just be out of the $7.99 versions, like mine was.

    • JL

I have been worried about trying this deal all week, but decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. I got the 3 tag books ($13.99) and was able to use each coupon as well as the $5/$25. I also got a great deal (I think so anyways) on some Animal Planet brand toys for my boys for Christmas. They are also B2G1. I got a huge soft rubbery alligator and shark (probably 12 in. or more in length, my boys loved them. They played w/them the whole time I was trying to figure my deals, then I snuck them in the cart) and a ocean playset, (w/sharks and a diver in a cage) $9.99 each. In the end I got the 3 books and 3 Animal Planet toys for $30. (the animal planet sets also include; horses, cats, dogs, jungle animals, dinosaurs, and farm animals) BTW, the store I went to was in Nashville, TN, next to Rivergate Mall.

I bought 3 Tag books ($13.99 each) and 3 regular books (2.99 each) and used 3 $4 off coupons and the $5 off $25 coupon. Got it all for $19. I shopped at the Pineville, NC, Toys R Us. Thank you!

Thank you alot your site has really helped me save my family alot of money. I went to Toysrus in Virginia Beach and got 3 tag jr books @ 10.99, Monopoly and Sorry @ 7.99 and Connect four @ 14.99. I used 3 tag coupons and 2 hasbro and 1 connect four coupon. I also used the 5 off of 25 and received all this for 19.01. I gave the three books to my daughter and I am giving the games to my husband for toys for tots since the Marines are apart of this program every year. Again I must say thank you before I was not able to give because I was always spending on nessecities but now I know how to match up deals and I am pleased to be able to have nice things to give for those less fortunute than we are.

I tried to buy tag books ($13.99 each) at the Toys R Us in West Knoxville today. I had a $4 off coupon for each book. They told me I could only use 1 coupon for all the books because the coupons says “1 coupon per purchase”. That is ridiculous. What do they think when people go to the grocery store – that you can only use 1 coupon on your whole entire order? They made me so mad! The cashier even called the manager over and the manager agreed with the cashier.

Well, then don't try to go to the one out east… same problem. I went tonight and they would only let me use 1 tag book coupon stating the same reason. I also had coupons for different action figures and they would only let me use one, so I didn't get any. I am not sure why some Toys R Us allow all the coupons and some don't…. very frustrating and inconsistent.

I tried the same thing at the West location a few days ago and was told the SAME thing….1 coupon per purchase. Well, I went back today and got a new cashier, and she took all 3 coupons!! Grand total for 3 games was $12 and some change. My advice would be to try again. Hope it works out!

I found coupons for more of the items that are B2G1F on the Hasbro website. I didn’t see this posted so I thought I would share. Here is the link

This deal worked out perfectly for me. I ended up with Sorry, Scrabble and Monopoly for a grand total of $3.22!!!!

Sorry $7.99 (minus $4.00 off mfr q from Parade newspaper)

Scrabble $7.99 (minus $5.00 off mfr q from previous Scrabble card game)

Monopoly $7.99 (Free with B2G1 offer)

      Total $8.22 with tax

Used $5.00 gift card received back in the spring the last time Toys R Us had the Hasbro deal (buy x number of board games and get a $5 gift card)

Grand total $3.22 or $1.07 per game!!!!

I tried to use the game q's today. The cashier originally told me I could use only 1 q for the entire order. I then asked to speak with the manager who said I could use 2 but not 1 for the free game of the B2G1. He also said that they wouldn't run the $5/$25 q until they had run all of my manu q's. When I asked to see something in writing (because it doesn't say anything about it on the $5/$25 q), he said it's not a written policy, just understood! With 4 kids in tow and 20 minutes of trying to understand/explain how q's work, I left without anything except the firm conviction that I will shop somewhere else this holiday season. This was at the Mall of Georgia location.
