    • Janasafe

      What does
      RR WYB mean at walgreens?

      • Kari

Register Reward. Its basically walgreens bucks to use on your next purchase. Similar to ECB's for CVS or UP's for Rite Aid.

      • Lucky Charm

Janasafe, RR=Register rewards. prints with your receipt. you can only use them in walgreens and they do have expirations. we do really well with these you just takes practice

      • Terri

Register Reward when you buy …..Register Rewards coupons are given to you after you purchase featured item, use them as payments towards most purchases. You cannot redeem them on a 2nd transaction of the same featured item because the new register reward will not print. You cannot use it on another of the same company's product for example P & G products or the next register reward will not print out. You must redeem them by the expiration date because Walgreens do not accept late coupons.

        • Terri

oops typos..company's products for example P & G products: Crest mouthwash, toothpaste, Bounty paper towels and Charmin etc…

Walgreens does not accept expired Register Rewards coupons

    • Mandie3721

Would this scenario work?I have (3) Buy one Gilette Deodorant get one Gillette Body Wash Freeand (3) Buy one Gillette Body Wash get one Gillette Deodorant FreeCan I use these together?

      • ireneY

Technically, yes, but it'll be nearly impossible at Wags. The register “tie” BOGO Qs to two items.

    • Jillmaek

how is it a filler item if you need a coupon? do store coupons not count toward the coupon total?

      • Bamasaver

They don't at our local stores…only the MANUFACTURER ones do.

      • Jennifer7a6

Wags coupons dont count towards the coupon limit for using rr's

    • Miss_afb

with transaction 3 wouldn't u be using 2 manufact coupons on the bodywash?

      • Jennifer7a6

I thought it was one coupon off the bodywash, then the other is off the deodorant, so it would be 1 per item

    • Honieb06

Are you allowed to do multiple transactions on the same shopping trip at Walgreens? Anyone had ant problems with this?

      • NorthALCouponer

I have done it before.  I usually only do it when no one is in line or buy one thing and then walk to the back and pick up my next item.

      • Moore0902

I know the ones here in Greenville/Easley allow me to do however many I need to do. The most I have done is 5 small ones. There is a lady that goes into the Cherrydale store and does 12 different transactions!!!!

      • justme

Yes, you can do several transactions to keep your out of pocket expense down. Use your register reward printouts on the next transaction. HTH :)

      • JTTLC

I never really have a problem.  I typically do 3-4 transactions when I go.  I just make sure that there are not that many people in line and I ALWAYS have all my coupons in the right order that way when I am doing my transactions I can go very fast as to not hold up the line.

        • StatesboroCouponin

My Walgreens is great, but.. they make me walk out of the store after each transaction if I am using RR in a row.. then walk back in for the 2nd transaction :( I don't really get it..seems unnecessary..

          • achmomma

That sounds like they are messing with you….why would you ask someone to do that…that's terrible…wow

            • june

I live in NE Indiana and that is how I have to buy beer. If I want to buy 3 thirty packs, it exceeds the alloted oz the state allows the stores to sell in a single purchase. I have to walk outside and then back in to buy more than 2 cases. Maybe there is something in Marcie's state about coupons?

    • gnise

where do you get the p&g coupon books

      • NorthALCouponer

There is usually a P&G booklet in the first paper of the month.

      • Marcie

If you're talking about the Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet, be on the lookout for a new one. Usually you have to spend $50 and send in in your receipts with the form and they will mail you the booklet :)

    • couponmama

Anyone have success getting the Dove MenCare Qs to print from the Unilever link? I can never print from redplum via another site, only directly from redplum- and of course these coupons aren't on redplum. :(

      • Greg

My Dove q's printed fine. You have to log in to get them.

        • couponmama

Was that on the Unilever site, or on Dove? the link I saw on here was to Unilever. I did create an account, logged in, etc., but it would say “stack overflow 162” on the coupon page, then “access denied” when I tried to print them. Redplum often gives me difficulty…

      • Megan

Try this one, zip 02171 http://www.hannaford.com/coupon/Dove/875358.uts

    • Banks

If my local Walgreen's is not a 24 hour store, can I get the advertised price for an item on the Saturday evening before the ad technically starts? I am new at this and I thought I had read this somewhere, I am not for sure. If so, Does this apply to CVS also?

      • Missyscatchall

at my local walgreens, you can get then next's weeks sale prices on Saturday afternoon, but their registers WILL NOT print ou the Register Rewards until Sunday.  If you are going just for items that are on sale, then you would be fine, but if you are buying items that will have RR, then you should probably wait until the ad actually starts on Sunday

    • SweetGirl

I just wonder about this transaction
**Deal Idea**Buy:(3) Gillette Body Wash $3.33(3) Gillette DeodorantUse: (3) -$2 off Gillette body wash, Booklet in select PG products or RP 5/15 (3) -Free Gillette deodorant WYB body wash, PG 5/01Total Due: $4Get Back: $3 RR, makes it 16¢ ea.
Quetion, if you use already 3 BOGO Free Gillette deodorant WYB body wash coupons, can you use also 3 another $2 off Gillette body wash for the the same item???
It's hard to belive for me!!!!!!!!

      • Evil Betty

Yes. YOu have 6 items and 6 coupons

        • SweetGirl

          Thanks Evil, what about this:
Off Clip On Starter Kit $8.99 -$1 off Raid Max Bug Barrier 30 oz or Off Clip-on starter (Walgreens coupon), May Walgreens coupon booklet -B1G1 Off! Clip-On Mosquito Repellent starter kit printable -$2 off Off! clip-on mosquito repellent starter, (zip 30003) printable(buy 2, use store, B1G1 and $2 off coupon, makes it $2.49 ea.)

Basically I have 2 items and for 2 items I have to use 1 Coupon BOGO, 1 2$ off manuf and 1 store! So if I will add filler like candy, can I use also 2$ off, will be 3 items 3 coupons?

    • Jaclyn

where do i find the “get more from your pharmacy” walgreens booklet?

      • Jolley4coupons

They should be on the rack with at Walgreens with the sale papers….if that's what she's referring to.

        • Kristen

This booklet is was available at Kroger, not Walgreens. It contains manufacturer coupons that can be used anywhere. Hope this helps.

    • Ljisaok

Can you print and use as many of the scotch coupons as you like?

      • Bamabobbie

        I have been able to.

    • Cbanks1978

I can't seem to figure Walgreens out …  I follow all the rules you guys specify here… Same # of items as i have coupons, etc.  For example — I had two $2 off coupons for the B1G1 Clean n Clear Body wash @ $5.99.  I had 2 items, was using 2 coupons.. should of been able to use both coupons and my total would of been $1.99, right ??  The register beeped on the first coupon, so i grapped a filler – then the register took coupon #1, i grapped another filler and the register would NOT take the second ..??  Idk, im new at this and SO confused!!  Any suggestions :) ?!?

      • couponmama

I think their registers are possessed…just kidding. They are very fickle though as to what will or won't scan. Your scenario should have worked just fine, but things like that happen all the time to me at Walgreens, and when it does the cashier often seems to think you're trying to get away with something. They'll call a manager up, and some are happy to help, while others act exasperated. Print out a copy of their policy, & don't be afraid to ask when something isn't working right. I would never make a scene over a coupon, but they should definitely be willing to follow their own coupon policies! Keep trying….hth

        • Greg

Yeah I did that exact deal with no problem. Last time the cashier actually helped me with my transactions to make the best deals.

    • J4christ

I just talked to a manager at Walgreens.  She told me if a product is on sale B1G1 you can't use a B1G1 coupon for it to get it free.  She said it is coupon fraud and the manufacturer is losing out.  I was asking about the Clean and Clear body wash deal this week since the coupon I have expires 5-15-11.  Is this correct?  I thought I had done this before for a different product.

      • Ashley

No she is not correct.  I would print out a copy of the Walgreens coupon policy for her to read.  You can always call corporate and they will call her to set her straight. My Walgreens is great and never once have they said I couldn't do this.  Good luck :)

      • carrie

        Call corporate and ask them.

      • Benjamietaylor

I dont know if she is right or not, but I have been trying all week to get that body wash and they nver have any, so I guess everyone is doing it.

      • Gapeach2be

This is not  correct.  You should print out Walgreens' coupon policy and take it with you.  If an item is B1G1, you should be able to use a B1G coupon and get both of them free, just pay taxes.

        • Rainey993

This is what the manager of our Walgreens said.

      • Pbjmorton

You should be able to use them unless the net price goes below zero.

      • Newbie

I had this same problem yesterday, saying it was coupon fraud. I called customer service and complained. They straightened out the store and I received a call from the store today with an apology. Supposedly an email is going out to a lot of stores to try and correct the issue.

        • Donna

I work for Wags! My Store Mgr stated to me that we can use and accept all coupons as long as we as cashiers enter the coupons in the correct order. The deal will work. He just ask us to limit the purchase to let everyone have a chance at the deal and not let ONE person clean the shelves. That to him is just smart shoping. They (WAGS) gets their money back from Manf. plus some.  We do not have the room for the extra stock for all the deals out there. I have been accused of having stock and holding it till the coupons expire! That is just crazy to say the least. It has been through my coustomers that I'm learning how to shop smart. So for that ~ THANK YOU! The next time in WAGS be patient with your cashier. She/He is only doing what they have been told and we are learning too. If upset ask for a MGR. or call Corp.

    • Anna

Ok if you have a coupon for B1G1 free, can you get the 1 free, then use a $1 off coupon for the item your actually paying for?

    • gail

does anyone know what the costof the minute rie streamers are?

    • gail

      I mean minute rice

    • kennasuz

The Off Coupons say that you cannot use them with any other coupon. Don't think you will be able to use the BOGO with the $2.

    • Megan

Thanks for all your hard work! Here's my plan:

      1 Dove Men + Care deo $4
      2 Red Baron pizza $5.50
      2 Atkins shakes $8
      1 filler .50

      – (1) $1/1 Dove q
      – (2) $2/1 Atkins q
      – (3) $4 RR (Colgate)

      oop: $1 + tax
      get back $3 RR (Dove)

      2 Garnier $7
      1 filler .50

      – (2) $1/1 Garnier q
      – (1) $3 RR (Dove)

      oop: $2.50 + tax
      get back $5 RR (Garnier)

      2 Garnier $7
      – (2) $1/1 Garnier q
      oop: $5
      get back $5 RR (Garnier)

      2 Garnier $7
      – (2) $1/1 Garnier q
      oop: $5
      get back $5 RR (Garnier)

RR for next week: (3) $5 RR (Garnier)

      • Evil Betty

You can't use the garnier RR to get more garnier.  You wn't get another 5 RR unles the deal is rolling

        • Megan

I know :( if you see though I'm paying $5 out of pocket for each of those transactions and getting the $5 RR. I'll use the three Garnier RR's next week :)

      • Beth B

Don't the Garnier  products have to be $4.99 or more to get the $5 RR (stated above). If so then you'd be 2/$10 not 2/$7?

    • Tyler

Does anyone know if all of the Tylenol Precise coupons are gone? I'm getting that I've printed it the # of allowed times but haven't printed it yet.

      • SweetGirl

Well! I had the same problem!!! Anyway you will not get any Tylenol anywere because Rite Aid has special event buy Tylenol for 25$ and get 10$ UP, so you do not pay any monoey just taxes and get 10$ P if you buy 5 boxes 5$ each=25$ . I cant reallu understand why poeple so greedy, ok buy 5 get your 10$ UP and let another people get at least Tylenol without that frikking UPs!!!

        • Jennifer

Try Walmart if you get the coupon! The store I go to has them for 5.97. I have the man coupon for 5.00 off then they let me use the walgreens coupon for 3.00 off! So they paid me 12.00 to buy 6 of them!

          • SweetGirl

Thanks Jennifer, my Wags  has them for 7.99, so I dont really make money, lol!!!! But I've got at least 2!!!

            • plattapus

Walmart lets you use Wags coupons??

            • concerned

Yes but you can only use a WAGS coupon OR manufacturers coupon.

          • April

Did you have to use 6 of the wags coupons?

          • concerned

Technically that's not right from their policy

*The following are guidelines and limitations:
We only accepts coupons for merchandise that we sell.Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase.Only one coupon per item.

So you are only able to use either your $5 off coupon OR your WAGS coupon for $3 off.

One coupon PER item. I hope I'm not coming off mean but this is why a lot of cashiers HAVE to look at people's coupons more. They don't get reimbursed for a WAGS store coupon so that is a privilege they offer that now. They only get reimbursed for manufacturers coupons. People lose their jobs over these things…. overage is sooo awesome but not at the rate of someone being able to have food to eat and somewhere to live.

      • ozzishep

I was able to print them this morning….give it another try.  Maybe they reloaded them?

    • Lewisrn1

can i buy the oscar myers lunchables  @ $1.50 ea ( 1.00 ss 5/15/11 coupon, plus get back $1.00 RR ) combined with the Hormel completes  @$1.99 ea. (1.00 ss 5/8 coupon) and use the surplus towards the Hormel? Curious if Walgreens will give the surplus if so its only gonna cost 0.50 after I get RR back

      • plattapus

Wags doesn't allow money makers.  Their coupon policy adjusts up to the price of the item only.  Sorry!

    • Breezy

Ok, first of all, I LOVE THIS WEBSITE! Thank you so much for all you do!  I went to Walgreens today and got B1G1 free Hydro gel (3.99) with 2 $1 manufac. coupons (so $1 each) and B1G1 Hydro 5 refill (11.99) with 2 $2 manufac. coupons (so $4 ea.).  I also had $5 in Walgreens printer coupons, but they refused to use them.  They said I couldn't use them because they were already B1G1 free.  Is that right?  I thought they were considered store coupons?

      • Gapeach2be

I am not sure why they let you use a B1G1 AND two coupons.  You should only be able to use one B1G1 and one $1 coupon.  You are getting one item free and can only use one coupon the item you are actually buying.

        • ozzishep

I tried to use two manufacturers coupons today at Walgreens on the BOGO Clean & Clear body wash.  It wouldn't let me do that…darn!  But I also bought the Hydro Gel BOGO and it let me use two manufacturers coupons.  Weird….I did notice on my receipt that the two different items rang up different.  The body wash said BOGO with a zero amount directly under the first body wash.  The shaving gel rang up twice and then one of the gels were deducted at the end of my receipt.

        • Erikashines

Not true. At wags you can use 2 cpns on a b1g1 sale. Check out the policy.

        • Cilu22

because technically you are getting each at half prices in most cases

      • ozzishep

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago.  The gentleman at Walgreens explained to me that you cannot have more manufacturer coupons than items that you are purchasing.  A register reward is considered a manufacturer coupon so that is why you weren't allowed to use it.  I think if you would have bought one more “filler” item (like the Gelitan for .20 cents…see Jen's example above) then I you would have been okay to use your RR.  So confusing but so fun when we get the great deals!!  :)

      • Davahodges

Did you have enough items?  You need an item for every manufacturers coupon and rewards are considered manufactures coupons

      • Lifsacelebration

after my trip tonight, I can tell you the RR are considered manufacturer's coupons because they come from them….read the receipt…says courtesy of “xxxx”. In my case, P&G.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

The reason they told you makes no sense. You just needed any other item, as low as for a penny just to scan an item and thenb use the $5 RR (if you meant RR for “printer coupon”) and you would have been fine

    • achmomma

I love the saying that they like to use about “you can't use this coupon because if you do the *insert company* will lose out of money.”  Bottom line unless it specifies that you can't use with any other offers in store B1G1..then YES you can use it.  If the company thought that they were going to lose out on money they wouldn't have manufacture coupons. This is so silly to say to someone…it's a bogus reason…they don't knw what else to say…I had this happen to me and I went to another store…had no problems.  I asked the manager at that store to explain to me why this works….then I said that the store manager at X store had no idea…told him the “reason” I was givin…and he said. HU?..I guess I'll have to give her a call.  Sometimes communication is all that you need I guess.

Does anybody here use coupon clipping sites? I keep finding awesome deals in my area but I only buy 3 papers. Im not looking to clear the shelves but I would like to take advatage of .89 landry detergent when I find it. This family of 5 would love some help ………..

      • Anonymous

I befriended a lady using coupons at Kroger & she told me that she uses couponsthingsbydede.com.  I’ve never tried ordering them but I may try it once I get the hang of all of this.  I’m like you…I don’t want to clear the shelves but when I do come across something that I can really use (and it is a great deal) I would like to get more than 2 or 3.

      • Micaht87

The one thing I don't look for coupons for is laundry soap. I found a great recipe (on the 19 kids and counting site) for home made soap.  It costs about $0.20 a gallon to make, and is really good!

        • Davahodges

I don't think it works very well

        • Maria

Ive used that for several years, and have twin 4 yr old boys, and it gets their clothes clean, one thing i did change was the bar soap, you can use a small bottle of the Gain dish washing liquid and the mixture stays liquid, and works just as good.

      • Hasims

From what I have been told, coupon clipping services are illegal.  So I have stayed away from them.  But check your local library….alot of them do a coupon exchange and they may have what you are looking for there.

        • Shodges45341

Really? I have never heard that. I hope that is not true.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

You are contradicitng yourself in your use of words. “…… services” are not illegal. They are providing you services for which you pay, you do not pay for actual coupons. That is how it works on ebay and you must state on ebay that you are actually selling services not coupons and they are good to go

      • Babykeckles

I use them when there is a really good deal on something (i.e. the razor deal at publix 2 weeks ago) or if there is a high dollar coupon out for something that I know that we use (i.e. $1 kraft homestyle mac and cheese). A few of them have limits on how many of one kind of coupon you can get, some have minimum order requirements, and some wont have all of the coupons you might need so you might have to shop around to see which one will fit you best. It is illegal to buy a coupon but it is specifically stated on these sites that you are paying for the time and energy that went into clipping it, not the actual coupon- therefore it is legal

      • Autie

No, they aren't illegal.  You're technically paying for the 'service' of the clipped coupons.  That's how those clipping services work.

      • Caretwins24

I use The Coupon Clipper’s. Cheap and fast.  I just used ebay and it worked out great!

    • jnb0206

I don't understand the Dove deodorant deal.  The coupon in the link is for body wash, not deodorant.  Have they changed the coupon?

      • Megan

Yeah the may have changed it. When I printed last week it was for any Dove product.

        • plattapus

Yes, they ran out of the “any Dove product” pretty quickly.  Now, it’s only for the body wash.  Sorry.

    • Greg

is there no limit on the RR deals like CVS's ECB deals?

      • Megan

There are, they're just not listed here.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

limit is one deal per transaction; they dont have any card to keep track of your purchases

    • Yari1123

Caltrate is in clearance at my walgreens for .99 and I jut got a 2.00off ANY Caltrate,  Does this make it a moneymaker?? will they even let me use the coupon?? They give me a hard time sometimes even for a penny, even if I have other items in the same transaction.

      • ozzishep

I just looked up WG's coupon policy.  It states that you can use the coupon but they will only accept it for the amount of the selling price of the item.  It won't be a mm but it will be free!

        • Yari1123

          Thanks!!!!!! :)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

coupon will most likely beep. I believe Wags register is now programmed in such a way that it does not apply overage to any other items or balance. When that happens, they must manually reduce the coupon price to the product item and not refuse it outright!

    • Stephaniecelie

Can you get more than one register reward in one shopping trip?

      • Megan

Depends on what the limit is for what items you're getting.

      • Nita Royal

If you buy multiple items that generate different RRm's, you can do them in one transaction, and get RR's for each item.

If you want to do the same item more than once, you need to do them in separate transactions, even if it's on the same trip.  Just remember not to use RR's from the same manufacturer, or they won't print new ones.

    • Stephaniecelie

I have the following coupons for pantene pro V shampoo…                                                        -$3.00 off of 2 shampoos                                                                                                           -$2.00 off of 1 shampoo
Can I use the coupons together for 2 shampoos? Any help you all could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

      • Megan

No. You can only use one manufacturer coupon per item, and the $3/2 applies to both shampoos. If you had (2) $2/1 you could use both of those.

    • Brittany

If you buy Dove Men+Care Deodorant at 3.99 you get $3 in RR. If I buy 2 in one transaction, will it print 2 $3 RR? I just want to make sure I get all the RR I can. Thanks!

      • Megan

I believe there is a limit of one on that deal so you would have to do a separate transaction for another RR to print.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

one RR per transaction; buy them in separate transactions to get multiple RRs; and just dont use the same RR to pay to get the same deal

    • Honieb06

I'm not sure about the magic tape deal, it would seem like I could only print one coupon with the same numbers?!? I don't want to be doing something wrong….

      • Margoren

I thought the same thing. And the coupons also say (fine print) “good at retail outlets only”. That doesn't mean outlet stores, does it?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is incorrect. Those Qs are universal; you may print as many as you want. If I print one for myself will have the same number as you print for yourself. These ones do not have unique serial numbers like you may get on bricks coupon prints.

    • Tsrussell68

I can't find the $1/2 Werther's coupon in the May Walgreens booklet.  Am I missing something?

      • AFLMOM

Yeah, I didn't see it or your post until after I posted. lol And I cut out all my coupons getting ready for a shopping trip.

    • AFLMOM

I couldn't find the Wether's in the May coupon book. Did anyone else?

      • ozzishep

It wasn't in my May book either…hmmmmm…….

      • Kristan

        I couldn't find it either :(

    • MK

The dove coupon on the unilever website is for body wash : (

    • Mel Jolley

If I buy (4) Old Spice body washes and I use (2) B1G1 cpns……can I also use (2) -$1 off of 2 cpns for the body wash?

      • Vanmom2

I believe you can…you're buying 4 items and using 4 coupons.  That's what I'm planning on doing :)

        • Firstbrownie

You should only use one of the $1/2 coupons along with both of the BOGO coupons. The $1/2 is intended to be used on two products, so by using two of the coupons, you will be attaching two coupons to four products.
However, the BOGO typically attaches to one product (the free one). So, by using two of those coupons you are getting two for free. Then, you can use one $1/2 on the other two purchased (since coupons weren't used on those two). I hope that helps……your cashier might “push” both coupons through, but that would not be good!

      • BoxerMom

If the body wash bogo coupons attach to both bottles because you have to buy 1 to get 1 free then you can't also use the (2) $1 coupons

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

if you mean $1 off of 2 BW, then

        buy item 1, 2, 3, 4.

Use one $1/2 Q which applies to both item 1 AND 2
use two B1G1 which apply to item 3 and 4 respectively.

Thus, a total of 3 coupons can be used given the scenario

      • Rudydoescakes

      • biskit0323

On B1G1 coupons it depends on the barcode. If in the 10 and 11 number spot is 14, then the B1G1 applies to both items and you can not use another coupon with it. If the numbers are 00 or 01, then you can use another $/1 coupon for the buy item, cause the coupon applies to the free item. HTH!

Don't Walgreen's deals for Sunday go live on Saturday night?

      • Megan

        Yes if they're not a 24-hour store.

      • Amie

I called my store last night to ask after I saw a few people post this…I was told that yes, things will ring up the sale price startinf SAturday evening, but no RR wil print until Sunday morning. Don't know if this applies everywhere ir just here (TN), but thought I'd post just in case.!

    • Guest

In this deal listed above, why wouldn't you use (2) $2 coupons from the SS 4/17 insert instead of the $1 coupon? If you used (2) of the $2 soupons, wouldn't that make both free? I'm tired and could be reading it wrong, just don;t want to be surprised when I go in to shop tomorrow! Thanks!

Nevermind, just re-read where it says 'starting at 3.00'.

    • Lifsacelebration

Have seen many negative comments regarding Walgreens and their coupon handling at the register, but I want to say I had THE BEST help and checkout at my local store…Kingsland, GA. They were nice, understanding, and went wayyyy beyond helpful! They let me ring up about 10 separate orders so I could get and use my rewards on the next orders. The mgr. was so excited about my savings she added it up….spent $63 (still have my $2.99 rebate coming for bandaids) and saved over $140! ANNNNNNNNDDD, I shared this website to help them get started saving too! Thanks so much!

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

      Read This

I think WAgs register is programmed not to take overage from one manuf. item(s) to the total of that transaction.

In Scotch tape deal, B1G2 free w/ store Q

      item 1 will ring $1.99,
item 2, and 3 will also ring 1.99 each

BUT, applying WAGs Q will make
      item 2 and 3 $0.00

Thus, total of Scotch tapes is 1.99.

Although you may use upto 3 Scotch manuf Qs because there are 3 Scotch items in transaction, yet the manuf Q value total can not exceed $1.99. Therefore, you may not use a third Scotch Q.

In fact, register will beep at second Q because the second Q will exceed the specifed item total (by a penny in this case.) Therefore, cashier must adjust the price of second Q to 0.99 manually (and not just refuse to accept it)

Interestingly, if you tried to trick it, and use manuf Q, all 3 before the store Q, they will go through because the total is far over the total of 3 manuf Qs. However, as soon as you scan store Q even at the end, the register will change item 2 and 3 price to 0.00 for the deal, and will actually REMOVE the (overage) second and third $1 manuf Q that were scanned earlier-pay attention to the register monitor in front of you. It has been happening at one store at least, and I do not see why it wont happen at other stores when it is the same system.

Please list your experience if it is otherwise or with a twist

      • Srgordon

I got three for $.15 woulld have been free but taxes the second coupon didn't want to ring up so I explained why it wouldn't and they simpled overided for me, so far at shopping at Walgreens have had no trouble with using coupons

      • Heather

I bought a total of 6 of the tapes. I handed the cashier the $1 ManQ first, each scanned and applied, then I had her scan the store Q. a total of $7.96 came off of the tape. I had other items, so it was apperantly applied to the total. Tape totaled $11.94 before any Q; $5.94 after (6) $1 ManQs; then -$2.02 after scanning the store Q.

      • Danielle

It worked for me this morning.  The cashier scanned the store q. first and then all my other coupons for my items.  It didn't even beep for all three tape coupons!!!

    • Joyce

Just got my SS and RP. I didn't see the $1 off in the SS for the Colgate ProClinical toothpaste. :(

      • Mattray413

        Neither did I!

        • Srgordon

I got one in mine, live in Lenoir, NC and received it in the Charlotte Observer and Hickory Daily Record

          • Srgordon

            but only for $.75

            • Newbie

Mine was only for $.75 too.

      • Vicky McLain

Mine was in SS and it was for .75 off.

    • Ltrotter8518

Just got back from Walgreens and the Gillette body wash deal was even better than I thought!  I bought 3 Gillette body washes and 3 deodorants.  I had only 2- $2 off body wash coupons and I had 3 coupons Buy 1 Body wash get a deodorant free.  Gillette products are also Buy 1 get one 50% off, so I got all 6 items for $1.83 plus tax and got $3 RR back.  :)  I will say that I only found 2 body washes on the shelf.  They were already wiped out, but I asked the manager and he got me one from the back.  If the shelf is empty, still ask someone!

    • hm

Where do you get the coupon books for the drug stores? Do they come in the newspaper or are they in the store?

      • Teecee

At Walgreens, they are in the store. At my store, they are on the rack with the current week's ad right inside the door.

    • Deb

I'm lucky my WAGS is so nice to me, lol!  I forgot to look in my May cpn booklet before my trip, and took it for granted that the Werther's cpn was in there.  Please note that it is not, at least not in the SC area.  I don't know if they are regional.  So I bought 10 bags, and realized that it would make a $5 difference in my total.  Since I acually let some RR's (gasp) expire (I was sick and hubby had surgery this week), I asked my cashier to re-ring.  I wouldn't do this in just any store in which I shop.  !!!

    • dr. coupon

Does anyone know if the “with fruit” lunchables are included?

    • Katrina

I didn't get a $1.00 off Joy or Gain dish soap coupon in my P&G $110 savings booklet… It was only for 25 cents off…

    • Leah

@ my walgreens in deltona Fl. I got  3 Gillette Body Wash $3.33 and 3 Gillette Deodorant and a $1 hair accsesory for $2.25 . they have the deodorant b1g1 50% off. and they gave me the full price of the deodorant off.

      • kristin

Which store in deltona did you go to?

very disappointed today May savings book  didnt have the gold and seal q or the hot and cold compress q     im in Knoxville TN…are they in a seperate book?

    • Coupongal18

Very disappointed in my trip to WAGS this am – the ONLY thing they had in stock was my Pantene shampoo…I was getting the Gilette, toothpaste, Dole crisp, and a bunch of other stuff…..I had to go to WAGS yesterday to pick up some medicine and I checked on the stock o f the items I wanted – it was all there yesterday—-NO WAY it got sold out that quick–or at least I don't think so…are they pulling it from the shleves? UGH!!!!!

      • frustrated

same here this is the first time i have gone in awhile  because they r always out of stock   cashiers there use this site to..and once again came home with nothin

      • Momiedawg1965

I was at my Walgreens when they opened, along with approximately 10 or so other couponers.  Some of the stuff mine didn't have but the stuff they did was in adequate quantities when I was there but people were filling their  buggies.

      • The Savings Spot on FB

I nly got the tape and 2 lunchables… they said they didn't carry the Dole Fruit Crisp at all and they were STILL out of the Right Guard body wash that was on sale 2 weeks ago (I have a raincheck)… they never seem to be as well stoked as CVS.

    • Jessica Lowe

Totally racked up at WG's today :) Thank you Jenny for the info about the Gillette Deals!! Spent $11 saved $49 and got back $6 RR!!T

    • Momiedawg1965

The Walgreens in Decherd, TN has the Dove Men's Deodarant for $1.00.   I got the deodarant and 3 tapes, used the dove coupon and 2 tape coupons and paid .28 cents.

    • Carjoe2010

What is the reason for throwing in the geletin as filler items? Does it make a difference in the price? What if I don't get them?

      • Rachel

Walgreens only allows one coupon per item (I believe it's one MF Q and one Store Q per item).  If you are trying to get things for free sometimes you end up with more coupons than items so you have to throw in another cheap item so you can use all your coupons.  It still kinda confuses me so if someone knows any different please correct me!

      • Tammie

Jenny is just telling you a cheap  item to have, as a “filler”.  Like the person below said, you can't have more coupons than items.  Even though I go over my transactions a few times, before I get to the counter, I still may have some extra “filler”/”cheap” items, so I'm not stuck trying to quickly grab something, that costs more than what I would want to spend, just to be able to use my coupons.  Walgreens has more stipulations than CVS or Rite Aid.  If you don't want the filler that Jenny has suggested, then take a few minutes to walk around the store and look for some things you may want to use, under fifty cents; preferably less than that.

        • Carjoe2010

Thank you, although I still didn't fully understand it until I checked out and was able to actually see it, I get it now. I ended up using the jello.

    • Dbloh7chickk

Saved some good money today at Wags, but was disappointed when I realized that the Werther's coupons that would make them free are for the Chocolate ones that are not on sale, and the Johnson's lotion coupons are for the baby lotion that is also not on sale.  :(  Kinda a bummer but still did really good!  $9.47 OOP, Savings of $37.15!

      • Maria

The Wags coupon book didnt have a 1/2 Werther coupon in it.

        • Jennifer

I am glad someone else posted that they didn't find a Werther coupon in their May Wags book, I thought I was going crazy. There wasn't one in mine either.

    • Wooburne1

Has anyone tried the lunchable deal? Do the coupons work for it. It's says on Jenny's list “if included” beside the coupon. Just wanted to know if anyone tried it yet so I don't waste my time or theirs.

      • My store only had regular lunchables (not the “combos” like the coupons say).  They also didn't have any sandwich/sub packages.  So no, the coupons did not work for the products that my store had on sale but it was still a good deal.  I paid $3 but got $1 back in RR and each lunchable is usually $2.99.

        • Bfarlow

My walgreens did have the sub/sandwich and I was able to use 2 coupons.  Very excitied.  But then I went back to get the Tylenol precise product but they wouldnt take my coupon for $5.00…I was upset.

          • meli

The $5 off Precise was good for 1 week only, which was last week.

            • Jennnyp

My $5 off coupon is good through 6/24 and the wags coupon is good through 5/28

    • MissMixIt

..just left wags.. this was my first trip there.. LOVED IT!!  Very friendly cashier!  However, there were wispers that the Dove deal was not printing… cashier even asked me when as i started to check out if i had that deal cause it wasn't printing.. don't know if it is alll Wags, but Boiling Springs, SC was no deal….

    • Nita Royal

One of my local stores has started posting signs to the effect that any special items with mfg Q's are a limit of 2 per day.  The Gillette Body  Wash had a limit of 3.  Frankly I'm glad they're doing this, since there were still some on the shelf when I got there!

    • Ferncourtney

Is the Cover Girl BIGI 50% only good on Saturday?  Their ad is confusing…

    • CouponingDad

Ok, Can someone please tell me where the Dove Men deoderant coupon is on the Unilever site? I have looked all over and cannot find it. :(

    • KarenJ

I couldn't get a coupon through the SNUGGLE links (it said I had already printed.. but I had not).  I did find $1.00 off any softener/dryer sheets through Snuggle on FaceBook.  Remember, you can hit the back button and get 2!  :)

      • Katy

thanks so much!  i had the exact same problem and was so happy to find out about the fb coupons!

    • Bkny63

I bought the Dove men's deodorant for $3.99 this morning and my RRs didn't print.  Did this happen to anyone else?  What can I do?

      • SciFiMom

Yes, that happened to me too. I just returned it… and will try again later.

        • Bkny63

That's what I will do.  Thanks

        • ozzishep

If you used a manufacturer q you won't get that back though…I would tell the manager I want a store credit for the amount of the unprinted RR.  They have done that for me before…just a thought!!  :)  I almost bought some of the deoderant this morning but I had forgotton those coupons at home.  Whew….glad I passed on this deal for now!  :)

          • Jules

The cashier tried all 4 scents to see if the RR would print…no other coupon used, still did not print. They gave me a rebate form to send in.

      • Dbloh7chickk

We had that happen too and the manager came out and just adjusted the cost to .99 for us.  Maybe next time just point it out to the manager?

      • Clapphands

I would return the deodorant if it didn't print. That is the reason you bought it to begin with.

      • Cici

I tried at two different stores and the same thing happened…I don't think they put the Dove RR information in their system. So I pointed it out to the cashier and she tried to argue with me that it's because I used a manufacturers coupon, the RR rewards wouldn't print. So then I had the manager return the item and re-ring it without a coupon, and the RR still didn't print. So they ended up giving me $3 cash instead of the RR.
Do take it back to the store, they will make it up to you.

        • Frugal Cowboy

Add is put in by corprate and not by the stores themselves.  Another thing shoppers are not aware of is, a register reward will not print if their onhands are incorrect.  If the product shows zero onhands in the storessystem but they have the product it will not print the register reward

      • Jules

Yes, They (Walgreeens) gave me a rebate form to send in to get a Walgreens coupon by mail.

    • Autie

Was shopping in Wags around 1:30ish, and witnessed 2 separate instances where couponers were trying to literally CLEAR the shelves of the Fusion razors and deoderants that were on sale….and they were very upset that the cashier told them no, they couldn't purchase ALL of them…really?  The manager had to come out and say, “Listen, I'm being generous to let you purchase 4 at a time.”  He was right.  It's pretty disturbing that those ladies were so greedy as to swipe all those sale items, leaving none for others.  Sorry, I just had to share after seeing that.

      • Maddox90

Yep happened to me this morning. I got all my other RR but that one…Bummer, but oh well got 46.00 of stuff paid 5.76 OOP and got back 7.00 in RR.

        • Maddox90

darn my post was suppose go under the one about Dove Deoderant..lol

      • Clapphands

I agree with you Autie. It's people like that, that are going to hurt everyone and the couponing is going to come to a stop. I also feel like the extreme couponing show is going to put a stop to doubling and a lot of other deals. Its bring too much attenttion to couponing.

    • Jimmyp1207

I went to WAGS last week and the cosmetics lady helped me figure out all the coupon deals.  They were out of a couple of items but I got most. She was great, so I figured I would go bak this week.  They were out of everything except the tape.  The luchables don't match up. The guy would only take one, $1 of f with the B1 g2 on the tape.  Very disappointing.  I guess I am not smart enuff to shop WAGS on my own.  I won;t be back soon.  Similar experience at CVS.

    • ozzishep

Went to WAGs and purchased the Garnier Fructis Shampoo + Conditioner for $3.59.  I had two $1 q's so my final price was .18 cents plus the tax.   The other bottles of shampoo or conditioner were $5.49 so buying the all in one came out to be a better deal.  I spent $15.97 oop, received $8 in RR, and had a total saving of $39.75.   Love, love, love it!!

    • Chexmix76

Just to note.  Not all 5/15 coupons have the $1.00 Colgate.  Mine only had $.75 off.

    • 1HappyShopper

I was very happy with my WAGS trip today. With 3 boys in tow, I managed to get everything I had on my shopping list:
      (3) Gillette body wash,(3) Gillette deodorant,(3) Scotch tape,(6) Dole crisp(had to ask for someone to check the stock room),(2) Snuggle fabric softener,(1) 24 pk Spring Water and Royal Gelatin as fillers. Used (2) $4RR and (1) $5RR, and paid $4.35 OOP, saved $54.78 (92%).

      • 1HappyShopper

Oh,and received $3RR for the bodywash

        • Salsgiversgirl

I did the body wasg 3 for 10 and used two coupons for $2 off and did not get the $3 register rewards why?

    • Stefbo00

Not sure if anyone has posted this deal or not…Kotex Tampons, 18 ct. (some boxes offer 4 more as a bonus) are 2 for $6.  There was a coupon (think it was Red Plum) in today's paper for $1.50 off 2.  When I purchased them, a $1.50 Register Reward printed making them 2 for $3 which is a pretty good deal IMO.  :)

    • Ronicat

I waited at Walgreens for 45 minutes before they opened this morning so that I 'might' line up at the door first and get a few things before the hoarders came in and cleared the shelves…As I walked toward the Gillette deodorant I wanted 3 of, a hoarder came past me, pushed her arm to the back of the shelf and pulled every single one of them into her buggy…Then proceeded to the Gilette body wash and did the same with it…After that, she took off…I told my son to go grab 4 Lunchables before she got over there…He came back with 2 and said that's all she left…Her buggy was FULL…We did get some good deals that she wasn't interested in thank goodness, but she really made our WAG trip a negative experience this morning…

      • Susan

Hey I live in Conway SC and our Walgreens has now limited everyone to only 2 products per person.  This is to cut back on the Hoarding. I tried last week to get the BOGO clean and clear just to learn that a lady came in and bought all 40 they had!!!

      • Daisy88646

         WOW!  thats horrible.

    • Laurenbayles

I couldn't find the $3 coupon for  Cryo-max cold pack in the Wags May coupon book. Looked three times. Those aren't regional, are they?

      • I've looked everywhere for this one and the candy coupons and can't find them either.  I even picked up May booklets from Ga and Tn and neither one had them.

    • Guest

On the Old Spice Body wash could you use (3) $1.00 off 2 washes coupons and (3) B1G1 coupons and only buy 6 and get $3 RR back?

      • Lisa

I think so because Im planning on trying to buy 4 and use 2 B1G1 and 2 $1 off. You have to buy 3 to get the RR. Im not going to attempt to se 4 $1 off even tho I am techically buying 4. It should come out to $4,66 for 4 of them with $3 back so $1,66 for 4 is a good deal.

    • Territtr

Thank you so much for putting this together for us!!!  I spent 22.00 out of pocket today and save 97.00 and still have 11.50 in RR for my next trip. You are wonderful!!!

    • Sjk930

Well Walgreens in Fort Myers, FL does not honor RR or BOGO deals if you use any manf coupons on the deal. I spent over an hour in line trying to get refunded and get rerung up so I could get RR..and then I was so frazzled that I forgot the dang manf. coupons. I am so mad that they did this. Then the cashier gets mad at me! I was so embarrassed, I am almost swearing off coupons for good.

      • Caretwins24

I had a similar problem at my Walgreens in Thomasville,GA.  Very angry about it!

      • Stefbo00

I don't understand why they wouldn't honor RR or BOGO deals with manufacturer coupons…Walgreens doesn't lose money on them – they get reimbursed from the manufacturer.  Maybe this location is just being lazy…I'd find another location or call corporate. Sorry about your bad experience but keep on couponing – it is worth your time!

      • Tahme

I had the same experience in Birmingham, AL.  VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

      • ireneY

Don't give up because of that experience. Wags Q shopping is notoriously frustrating. Try a different store and you may find it much more pleasant. I don't step into Wags unless the deal is too good to resist. It's not worth the bad attitude and register wrangling!

    • Jlm

Beginner here, but if the add states 2/$10 do you have to purchase both items or can you get one for $5.

      • Liz

You can get one for $5.

    • aclark23

I was told today at Walgreens here in Michigan that they are very soon going to limit transactions to 1. This will be a real bummer for getting the most out of Register Rewards. :(

      • Mcleodsc

Here in SC, about a year ago, I was told that we can only do one of each RR items per day, so I have been just buying one of each item that produces RR each day. By Tue. the stores are usually out of stock:(.

    • aclark23

I was told today at Walgreens here in Michigan that they are very soon going to limit transactions to 1. This will be a real bummer for getting the most out of Register Rewards. :(

    • Greg

Just looking at the transaction 3 in Jenny's scenario. You get 3 deos with the b1g1 qs.
Buy 1 body wash get 1 deo. can you then use the q in todays paper b1g1 deos to get another deo on that same sale? So all together 1 body wash -2.00q 1 deo b1body wash g1 deo, 1 deo b1deo g1deo. Does anyone think that q combo will work?

      • cc2011

I am wondering the same thing.

    • Liz

Just had to share my frustration today and vent to people who I know understand….

I purchased 3 of the scotch magic tapes today, and there was a peelie in the aisle that gave you $1 off a greeting card when you purchased scotch magic tape.  I got 3 since I was buying 3 tapes.

Naturally, I was excited because I needed some graduation cards anyways.  So, I zipped over to the 99 cent cards, thinking I will be able to get 3 free cards.

At the checkout, one of the team leaders (asst. manager) was my checker.  Keep in mind I have never had a problem at this location but this lady had never rung me up.  I am VERY familiar with the coupon policy and have a copy with me when I shop.  I sho at this location probaby twice a week.

She rang up my cards, and then tried to scan my $1 off coupon.  Of course it beeped because the cards are only 99 cents and the coupon was for a penny more.  I kindly told her their policy states…..and I quote….”In the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item.”  Hence,  I asked her to manually ring the coupon for 99 cents instead.

To which she replied, “That is fraud, and I cannot do that.”  I attempted one more time to explain it to her, but she kept saying it was fraud…..even WITH stating THEIR coupon policy.  Not to mention the fact I have done this SAME thing at this SAME locatin countless times.

At that point, I was not going to argue over $1 nor be accused of being a thief in front of a line of people.  I emailed their customer service because I am so exhausted with people in management positions not knowing the coupon policy.

Hope everyone else had better luck!

      • Nita Royal

I know exactly how you feel!   WAGS can be the most frustrating place to shop!  , I've found one store with a couple of good cashiers.  But if the wrong person is on duty, I just turn around and leave.

      • Jong0007

Couponers can be the most frustrating thing for us WAG employees to deal with. No one observes limits and we run out of things. We are NOT Walmart and have limited stock. So when someone comes in with 80 cpns for clean and clear body and state our cpn policy without looking at limits, be nice and don't attack your cashier :)

        • ireneY

She sounded respectful to me. Adjusting Qs down by one cent does not equal 80 bottles of body wash. If cashiers are frustrated, it is Wags policy that is faulty. State the limits in the ad and there'll be no arguments. Update the antiquated register system so cashiers won't need interpret what every little beep means.

          • Liz

            EXACTLY irene!  thank you!

        • looks like you need a different job Jong0007….

        • Liz

I am NOT a hoarder.  And, I don't think 3 tapes qualifies as hoarding.  So, don't group me with those people.

And, like I said, my coupons were in line with the store policies.  I never attacked my cashier and even thanked her as I left.  That was not the place to express my frustration, which is why I emailed customer service.  I do not appreciate when the managers have no idea what they're talking about and treat the customer like a thief.

Also, if you have problems with people observing limits, send your complaints to WAGS corporate instead of flying off at people on a COUPON blog.  WAGS is the ones who could change it.  Tell them to get a savings card like CVS and Rite Aid.  I'd welcome it.

          • Guest

We are getting a discount card. It’s being piloted in a few cities, it’s supposed to rollout sometime next year.

            • Liz

      • Wilto

I had to go to a different Wags yesterday due to my usual store not having some of the deals that I wanted, it made me very nervous. I know the staff at my local wags and they love me because I guess I'm the only male couponer and I always bring the baby!!

Anyway so at ths other Wags I got checked out by a very pleasent lady who scanned all my coupons no problem and everything went great….the other cashier  over from me was checking out another couponing customer and she was very mean and grumpy.

The cashier was saying things like ” You must be a hoarder, you couldn't possibly use all of this stuff, your taking all of it and no one else gets the deals. You're probably going to sell this for profit……..”

To which the customer told the lady……you should know I'm about to give all this away to the storm relief operation that is going up to North Alabama to help people who have lost everything, let me speak to your manager. I was like YES!!! YOU GO LADY!!!

        • Liz

that is the only way i can justify buying bulk.  or, when you pre-order it for yourself.  yes, of course, there are some CRAZY ladies out there (TLC's show does not help our perception).  i do not do it personally, but it just goes to show how much people judge without knowing the whole story.  it's sad.

          thanks for posting :)

      • Guest

I believe this means you should have asked her to change the price of the cards to a dollar.

    • Katiek

Has anyone else tried to get the enfamil? I went today to try to get two. In walgreens add it is on sale for 21.99 and then I had a 5$ off coupon for each and tried to use the code from infant carer booklet for another 2$ off each. It wouldn't take

    • Carjoe2010

I attempted my first couponing trip today and went to Walgreen's. Altough it didn't go as smoothly as I had played it out in my mind. The store was out of items I had planned on getting. But all in all, I purchased $42 worth of products and paid $14…that's good right?

    • nursestfne

Please help me understand how the B1G1 1/2 off sale works if you have a B1G1 free coupon. I know that if you have a B1G1 free coupon when an item is B1G1 free then both items are free.  Will I still pay full price for the first item if I use the B1G1 free coupon with the B1G1 1/2 price?

      • That is how my store does it. They say that they have to give me the cheapest one free.

      • Ashley

you will get 2 for half the price of one. So if full price is $5 you will get 2 for $2.50

    • Robinsonk81

I am new to this and I was wondering if you purchase multiple reward items do you get multiple rewards. Like the softsoap. So if I buy 2 softsoaps I get 4RR if I buy 4 softsoaps do I get 8RR?

      • nursestfne

You will have to do separate transactions. Also, if you use the RR  you received from the softsoap to pay for additional softsoap a new RR will not print. Hope this makes sense. I learned it the hard way last week, since I am new to stacking coupons with sales!

        • Athorne

I tried to do multi transactions this Sunday and the girl at the register said they can't do that anymore and that everything I had needed to be purchased at that time.  I was too mad to leave and come back in, so I just told the cashier that was stupid and that I would be shoping at the only other store near me which is 20 miles away!  I feel like Wags is going to become sucky to shop at!!!

      • Liz

yes, but you must do them in separate transactions.  walgreens currently has no system to track how many are going to one person if they're done in separate transactions.

also keep in mind for instance…if you buy 2 and get $4 RR,and then buy 2 more and use the $4 RR to pay for same items you received it from, another $4RR will NOT print.  in order to keep getting them, you have to use RR toward items other than those that you received it from in the first place..  does that make sense?

        however, you can alternate:
        1st trans.
buy 2 body wash, get $4 RR

        2nd trans.
buy 1 Dove Men+Care Deodorant and 3 Scotch Magic Tapes
use $4 RR to pay (from the body wash)
        get $3 RR back

        3rd trans.
        buy 2 more body wash
use $3 RR to pay (from the dove deodorant)
        get $4 RR back

you must use the RR toward different things….as long as you do that, they will keep on spitting out til the cows come home or the sale ends… =)

    • meli

My Walgreens (in North Clearwater) will not let me use more coupons than I have items- this included RR! I was shocked! But I still got some great deals and over $11 in RR!

      • Liz

that is all walgreens' policy.  Register Rewards are treated as manufacturer coupons…NOT walgreens coupons.  that was hard for me to comprehend as well at first.  the ONLY coupons you can stack are those in the walgreens monthly coupon brochure or their other brochures in the pharmacy, etc. that are strictly WAGS coupons (those don't count toward your number of coupons to items ratio).

this is why Jenny posts “filler items” each week.  Like this week, you could grab a Royal jello for 20 cents.  it would count as an item on your list, but wouldn't affect your deal scenarios too much cost-wise.  that way if you have a RR and a coupon you want to apply toward the cost of one item, the computer is seeing it as 2 items (RR applied toward jello and coupon applied toward item.)

    • Preciousbaby821

I did great today at Walgreens, got 3 gillette body wash, 3 gillette deodorant, 1 gain dish, and bag of mms as a filler for $1.93 got back $3 RR. My second transaction I got 3 Old Spice body wash for $5.45 and got back $3 RR. I'm going to take these RR back to get the Garnier deal, and use the RR from that transaction to get Kleenex and Snuggle deals.

      • Guest

what coupons did you use on the old spice body wash?

        • laura

I'm not sure which ones she used but I used the B1G1 from last weeks paper. And just now realized I only got three instead of my fourth free one, oh well. HTH

        • Lisa

I also have $1 off one old spice body wash which Im going to use with the B1G1 both  in PG 5/1 but yes you should buy 4 of them.

    • Ardnasfu82

Went to Walgreens to buy my newspapers, as usual, and the cashier said they could only sell me 4. They implimented a new policy this morning. This was in Knightdale NC, not sure if this was only my store. At least the cashier was nice about it! I always go to WAGS for my papers since they are only $1.50.

      • Liz

our walmarts have them every sunday for 99 cents….have you checked there???

        • Carolina Coupon Mom

          Liz – Great to know!!

One of my three Walgreens (within 2 miles) also had limit of 2 papers.  I left and went to the other and bought more without any problems.  With triples coming up I want to be prepared!

        • Ardnasfu82

Liz, last time I tried to buy papers at walmart, they were 1.50 plus tax. (a year or so ago) I haven't checked recently. The WAGS is 1.50 including tax. Thanks for the heads up= I will check next Sunday!

          • Liz

I am in Mississippi, so not sure if it varies state to state.

        • Squirrellyec

I pay $2 each every sunday regardless of where I get them (Walmart, Bi-Lo, paper stand).  That's in the Charleston, SC area

      • Lexusltb13

Do you have a dollar tree? They have them for a dollar and don't limit you.

    • Wilto

      Hey guys and girls!!!
I bought items with a value of $61.27 click below to see how much I paid!! :)

    • Melissa

Does anyone know where the free first aid bag is for buying the bandaids? I looked everywhere. Thanks

      • Michelle Sharp

I just got one in today's (5/15) paper, build your own first aid kit free whn you buy 3 baid aid products

      • Amy L.

My store had an endcap with a tearpad coupon – mail in wyb 2 products!

      • Bamagirl43

My Walgreen's had the actual first aid bag for free in the store on an endcap.  It also had $15 in coupons inside.

    • Nita Royal

Great job!  I like your blog.

    • GratefulGirl

Totally missed out on the Gillette bodywash at my walgreens today, BUT… I opted for the Zest bodywash 3/$10… Had (3) $1 off coupons AND they had two bottles of zest bodywash taped together in a B1G1 offer. So I ended up getting SIX Zest body washes for like $1.17 each. =)

    • Ajm961

there is a 2.00 coupon in big infant care book for huggies also making it 3.50

      • Hschmid82

that con is for the big pack not the jumbos which are whats on sale

    • Jlm

I have a printed coupon from Krogers for the Dove deodorant but it says manufacturer coupon. Can I use it at Walgreens?

      • Lexusltb13

Does the barcode start with a 5? If so yes. That means it can be used anywhere.

      • Clint

You cant use at Walgreens.  Those coupons are similar to coupons in the monthly WAG coupon book (mgr coupons good only at WAG).

    • Lexusltb13

At walgreens if you buy more than one item that is eligible for RR does it all print out on that transaction?

      • Liz

Yep!  As long as they are separate deals.  But, you may want to split up your transactions and use the RR from the first one to help pay for the next one…

      • Dharvn

no, if it's multilples of the same item
        yes, if it's different deals.

    • luv2shop

My Wags trip went well.  I spent $6.82 and left with $7 in RR.  I got 3 body washes, 3 deodorants, 2 toothpastes and a candy bar.  I'm sure I'll use the $7 at HT triples this week!

      • does HT let you use register rewards at checkout? If so can you use more than one per transaction? what area to do you live in?

    • Anyone else see there is a Starbucks deal on the drinks. My add shows 4/$5 and then there is a .50 in the wags coupon book and then a $2.00 of 2 ?

      • Dianna

The $2 off coupon is for a 4 bottle pack, not on individual bottles that are for the 4/$5.   :(   In our walgreens, the 4pack is 2/$10, so the 2 packs become $8 deal.  Not good enough to make me buy it.

        • My coupon says Save $2 when you buy 2 Starbucks Frappuccino or Double Shot 4 packs. It shows the 4 count box but it actually says buy only “2”. I got mine sooo super cheap today. I only got 8 of them :) Here the individual are apart of the 4/$5 .

    • karen

      thanks Jenny

    • Nathanandjessecollins

Had a very good day at Wags.  I got 3 gillette bodywashes, 3 deo, 3 boxes of cereal, 2 boxes of the taco shells, a tylenol precise, and paper plates for 6.33 oop.  The deo are b1g1 50 % off, so I used three b1g1 coupons and only 2 of the $2.00 off coupons since they gave me the full 4.99 off of one of my deo that was only 2.50 to begin with.  It really is amazing how different stores are.  Where I live there are about 4 Wags that I can shop at and each one is very different in how they handle things.

    • JoshuaGriffing

I don't know how any of you actually get any items on your list @ Walgreens…I have tried to get 3 separate deals there…and they have always been out of stock same day…it's really annoying…

      • Kmom

Get a rain check anytime they are out so they honor the sale price when they get it in stock

        • Amy L.

How do RR work when you get a raincheck?

          • Clint

Technically we (mgrs) arent suppose to write raincheck for register reward deal.  Raincheck should be for sale price only (before register reward).  Depends on the MGT staff at your store.  Customer service is important to us.  So some mgrs may make exceptions just to bring a smile to your face.  Happy Shopping

      • Shanna79

Yeah, you have to get rain checks for a bunch of stuff, but that's not a big deal if you go pretty much every week anyway. And my Walgreens still honors my coupons if they expire before they get the item in stock.

      • Clint

Hey Josh.  Im a mgr at WAG and we're working on this.  Try getting to store on sunday morning first thing.  Go into store and ask for an ad the Sat before.  Most mgrs wont mind.  Get yourself organized on Sat and hit store on Sunday.  Dont forget the buy your Sunday paper first though.  We are working on being in stock though.  Happy Shopping!

Dove Men's Deo printable doesn't list the coupon.  Am I missing it somewhere on the website?

      • Fgavent

I could not find it Saturday.  I think it reached its print limit.

    • Katie

Im new at this couponing thing… and I must say im saving a ton and it is VERY addicting!!! :) One thing I do not understand about this site is like on the Walgreens page, it says that you can print a Colgate coupon off of Smart Source and I cant find it on that web site. Is there a trick or am I doing something wrong? Any help on this and couponing will be greatly appreciated!

      • AmandaK

Most coupons only have a certain amount available. So if a bunch of people print that coupon and it reaches its limit, sometimes it will disappear from the site because it is no longer available. So if you ever see a coupon matchup and it says “(limit reached)” beside it, that's what it means. Hope that helps! :)

    • connie

The coupons I had for the lunchables were not the ones that were on sale. My coupons are for the ones with fruit but no drink, and the deli combo. The sale is for the fruit + drink and the deli creations.

Other than that I did pretty good. There was another Southern Shopper that snagged the last 3 magic tape right as I got there, but I did get a rain check. I bought the last bottle of vitamins and got a rain check for my other coupon. I also got a raincheck on the tylenol precise(i got 1 package alrdy).

What I left the store with was 2 dove deoderants, 1 glade air freshner, 1 sally hanson nail polish, 1 bottle of vitamins, $5 in rr for the next trip, and a coupon for a $15 oil change at Midas. I paid $11.18 and saved $22.89 before the RR. Not too shabby considering they didn't have most of what I went for.

    • Carmen S.

FYI; Diapers Deal.  The infant care book i got in mail also has a $2.00 off for huggies, so this week we have the same diaper deal as we did last week for Pampers.  (5519) is the wags store coupon code for Huggies.  You should be able to use the code without the physical coupon.

    • Shanna79

Watch for the Colgate Pro Clinical toothpastes in the tall box being closed out. My Walgreens was out of the regular kind so I got two in different packaging that were marked down to $1.29 each, used my $.75 off coupons PLUS got the $4 in RR. So instead of paying $1 or so, I made almost 3 bucks.
So check your store for the closeout version of the pro clinical before you buy the other.

    • Ohicks70

Any one know of a good website that I can buy the Sundays inserts for cheap.
Email me at ohicks70@yahoo.com. Thanks, A lot

Try ebay. I've seen alot of them on there. Not sure what price range you're looking for though.

Has anyone tried to combine Gillette's B1G1 Body Wash/Deodorant coupon with B1G1 Deodorant/Deodorant coupon to get two for free?

    • I did the Gillette deal 3 and 3 used same coupons as above and mine only came to $2.49 oop.. Weird but good. lol…. I did the Old spice deal twice (2 different wags) used RR from 1st trans, and check this out I got another RR back, Weird too..But Awesome  .

      • jhoran

Check your receipt….the gillette bodywash is ringing up buy1, get 50% on second one!

        • MacsMommy7

          Gillette deodorants are too!

    • Carolynvt93

Just left the Augusta Rd Greenvlle SC store – no Duncan Hines brownie mix sotcked there that's on sale.   Also, found 2 other deals – not sure if they're in other locations.  1) Scott Naturals paper towels, $5 for 6 rolls – used a mfg coupon for $1 that expires on 5/17.  2) 5.5oz pkgs of Honey Nut Chex Mix rang up as $0.50 each – “real” sale is on the 8.75-oz new size (3/$4) – used mfg coupon for $1/2 ==> FREE :)  5.5oz pkg size is a close out – you'll have to check the shelf to see if any are left in your store.

      • Clint

Is a closeout.  Watch expiration dates though.  Product should be expiring soon.  I just pulled product at my store and trashed them. Happy Shopping.

    • Just got back from Walgreens.  It was an interesting sale to say the least.  There were two rows on the Gillette BW shelf.  One was empty.  The other had bottles marked as $4.99.  Both had the RR ad. sticker on them.  So I grabbed 3.  Realized when I got home later that the ad said it was the 16 oz. that was on sale and the ones I got were 12 oz.  I still got my RR, but I did not get them 3 for $10.  The register also charged me full price for two tubes of Cortaid instead of marking one down half.  And when I bought the tape, it rang all 3 up at $1.99 and did not give me the second and third for free.  I'll be going back to get my money on the two tapes and the second cortaid, but figure it's my fault for not reading the ad closer so I won't bother with the Gillette.  Still learning…

      • Clint

You need the store coupon in ad for scotch tape deal. Store Coupon is B1G2 Free.  Then use 3 $1 coupons. And take bodywash back. They should correct mistake since items should be linked together.  12 oz is just older product.  Thats what we would do at my store at least.  Im a mgr at store in Ga

      • Lisa

you should return the body wash, it doesnt matter that you got the RR. I find it awful when there are not signs and the prices are not right- but a lot of times on sunday nothing is marked.

    • Heather

Just came home from Clearwater, FL store. They were out of a lot of things as usual… I did get the Diaper deal, the lunchable,3 tapes (free!!)  and of course the Razor deal :) This was good. I would of also purchased 3 BC powders (using $3 off store C and $2 printable) but the cashier wouldn't let me b/c the store coupon is for 150 ct or more. a little disappointing b/c my hubby uses those a lot but still a good trip all in all.

    • Bkb1288

is bricks limiting coupon printing to one per customer and if so how do u get around it

      • Fromkhadija

If you have another computer, you can print one from that.

        • Srgordon

Not any more some how they have it linked to the ip from the printer now

    • Julene

If I were to buy in one transaction 2 Gillette Profusion razors on sale that generate the 5 RR (using the 4.00 MQ too) would the register spit out 2 RRs as long as I don't use any RRs to pay for them. Or is it strictly one item per transaction to ensure getting the RR for any sale that generateds them. I'm afraid to try this, figuring I would have to go for a refund.

      • T_Floyd

I've tried it before and you only get 1 RR.  You have to split the transactions

        • Julene

Thanks for all the replies. I've been doing purchases for items with an RR one per transaction because I thought that was recommended, but I was hoping I might be wrong. Their system is stressful. Nearly every time I go there something goes wrong. Some of the mistakes are mine, others are errors I find when checking my receipt. The employees are never rude but I wish you didn't have to pay such close attention to how you used your coupons and RRs.

      • Bamasaver

You can only get one RR at a time for the razors.  You have to buy multiples in separate transactions to get multiple RRs (and don't use the RR from one purchase to purchase the same item again or you won't get the next RR).

      • Clint

Just one per transaction. Have to do them in seperate transactions

    • Akindberg

Went to Wags today in Greensboro, NC and attempted the (3)gillette body wash and (3) gillette  deodorant transaction. I had the pg home mailer coupons that are stated in the deal idea at the top of this page. It did not work. The sales clerk could not explain why it did not work, meanwhile a line was forming, so i took my coupons and left. The b1g1 body wash coupons were the ones he said would not work and couldn't explain why. This is extremely frustrating. Has anyone run into this same problem??

      • MacsMommy7

I went tonight and used the Buy body wash, Get deodorant coupons.  At first it did not work because the clerk did not realize the deodorants were buy 1, get 1 50% off, so she was trying to take more off than the price of the deodorants.  I believe the shower gels were also B1G1 50% off.  (So I'm not sure why buying 3 got me the $3 RR, but it did!)

    • Lisa

Hey Jenny! Love your site! Today I went to Walgreens and bought the b1g1 all and had two coupons 1.00 off and 1.50 off plus a walgreens $4.00 off from last weeks tylenol precise purchase so in the end I got two all's for .49…. I also bought a Gilltte Fusion Razor system sale price was 9.89 the sunday paper had 4.00 off coupon then you get RR for 5.00 so you get it for .89! WOO HOO!

    • T_Floyd

I cannot find the Sure deodorant coupon in the 5/15 Smart Source. Has anyone else found this coupon and can confirm it is indeed in the paper?  Maybe it's only in certain Regions? I have 7 and cannot find the coupon in any of them. Please help if you know

      • Linda

I live in Winston Salem, NC and yes it was in the newspaper. In the amount of $1.00. hth

    • Sarah

My stores were out of the Gillette body wash.  Do they do rain checks like CVS that include the RR?

    • Clint

Found out today we (Walgreens) are updating our coupon policy.  Check periodically for an updated version.  Should be posted soon.

    • Philip Rushing

        • Srgordon

Congrats but do really need as many items as you bought, I only get enough for my household if you are donating sorry I even ask but I went to Harris Teeter today and was out of most of the stuff I really need and not being mean but it is because people buy more than they need, 18 bodywashes

    • Rachlens77

Has anyone tried using the JJ coupons on the body wash, on the coupon it says for only the baby products?

    • Harlie_girl2u

Went to wags about 6 pm on Sunday  out of all the good deals already as usual. I did find 1 shick hydro razor system or 4pk cartridges b1g1 free. At ck out I had a $3 off razor and $2 off cartridge. $2 went fine but the $3 beeped cashier tried few times finally calling manager it wouldnt work manager couldnt tell me why just beeped and that means we cant take cpn. I knew cpn was valid i printed from facebook. I give up on wags. CVS has been so much easier. I went to walmart and cked the cpn went through it was good. Neither cashier or manager acted as if they cared about my buisness so the 4  12  pk cokes and other things i was going to purchase i just said no thanks. Any of you had it with wags?

      • Tamrod70

Yes, the stores that are close to me won't accept manufacturers coupons with the register rewards.  Totally sucks.  So much easier at CVS.

      • Brittany

Did you use your RR before or after the coupon? A few weeks ago mine kept beeping and the manager said it was because I was using the RR before the coupon. He redid it for me & it worked fine. I'm SO glad the Walgreens managers I've dealt with haven't been like the horror stories I've read

      • Athorne

I have totally had it with Wags!!  I am only going to shop at CVS.  They are always out of the deals advertised or not re-stocked by 9am Sunday morning and now the no multi trans are not sitting good with me.  I told them to shove it when they told me I could not do multi trans!!!

    • diana

help please!!!!! i have a question if anybody could help me please!?i saw the nail color sally hansen diamond at $3 something, if i buy 4 and i use just one $2 off  walgreens q'(it should take $8 off) plus 4 $0.50 manufacturer q' do i still need to get 4 fillers or just one since im only going to use the walgreens q' once?

    • Tonyadubose4268

I went to walgreens today and of course they was out of the toothpaste and the oscar my snacks but I was tickled because I got two women bodywashes three men bw a fusion razor two skinny cow candy and jet dry for 12 dollars and got back 4 to spend next trip. Im so tickled.

    • MacsMommy7

I went to Walgreen's tonight and was ready to buy the Werther's Originals deal posted above, but neither I nor the clerk could find the Werther's coupon in the May coupon book.  Anyone else tried this deal?  Are the coupon books regional?  Was mine just missing pages?

      • Linda

I live in NC and I also did the deal yesterday and could not find the Werthers coupon in the book either, I looked several times.

      • Clint

It isnt in the monthly coupon book.  must have been a misprint.  You can still B1G1 Free and use werthers/skittles/lifesavers coupons on each.  Still not a bad deal, but not as good as advertised

      • Trish

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who couldn't find the Werthers coupons. I searched and searched for it myself. Bummer! Oh well, lots of other good deals.

    • If you use 2 of the $3.50 off Huggies coupons they are $4 each pack!  :)

    • JenJenSoCal

I had a great experience at Walgreens tonight. Usually the Walgreens is out of most good sale items, but the one I went to had a great selection.

I planned out each of my transactions before hand.

Unfortunately when I got to Walgreens, they had none of the Gillette body wash. It didnt even show it was out. They didnt even have a place for it, very weird.

However, the manager told me that since they didnt have it, they would give me $3 off another body wash I wanted to buy. I ended up choosing the 2 Dove Bodywashes.

I think it was helpful that I went really late at night and my cashier was great. Everyone that worked at that store was great.

So all together I spent $25 OOP

      I got

      3 Gillette Fusion Power Razors
      6 Colgate ProClinical Toothpaste
      2 SoftSoap Body wash
2 Dove Visible Care Body Wash
      3 Scotch Tape
      2 Schick Hydro Shave Cream
      1 Nature Made Calcium Supplement
      3 3pack Cup O Noodles
4 packs of plastic utensils for fillers

I am new to couponing so I am wondering if I did good.

      • Christinekell

Depends on how much you got back in RR.

    • Zsfd854

Can anyone tell me if the Infant Care booklet is regional?  I went to Walgreens last week to get the deal on pampers and I asked for the infant care booklet and the woman at the beauty counter said she never heard of it and she asked the manager who also supposedly said he never heard of it.  Can anyone help…thanks

      • jenn

If you look down a bit more in the comments someone posted the codes for those coupons. I was able to give my cashier the code and she had no problems putting it through (my Wags didn't know about the book either). HTH

      • Gatorginger

We got them in Central Floriday but they are out of them now

      • anninnc

they have them out at my store, i could mail ya one!

        • zhuzhu

Could you mail me one, I am needing the infant care booklet! Let me know I can send you my address or are you in NC (in reference to your user name “ann in nc”

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Not all sales listed here are on sale at local stores. Most notably, Gillette BW and Scotch tape are not on sale/deal at the store I checked. Check your store flyer before you buy everything you have on your shopping list printed from here

    • lks

I am new to couponing. Doesn't  “ss” stand for smart source mailer. I looked in the smart source mailer for the huggies coupons and couldn't find them. Can someone enlighten me on this. Thanks

      • Kjn556

A lot of times certains coupons are regional.  Try buying the coupons off ebay or a coupon clipper.

      • Christinekell

I have tons of Huggies coupons if you want to buy them from me.  :D

    • jlp

Ok, am I going crazy?  I keep adding the Off Clip On starter kit deal over and over and it comes up $1 more than what is posted here.  Can someone verify that for me?  Want to make sure I'm not missing a coupon.buy 2 at $8.99 = $17.98use 1 B1G1 = $8.99use $1 Walgreens coupon = $7.99
use $2 printable = $5.99so $3 each and not $2.49Am I losing it or not???

      • Lexusltb13

took me a min to figure out too. ok, you use one manu b1g1 coupon, 1 manu $2 off, then (2) $1 off walgreens coupons. because you are buying 2 products, you can use 1 manu and 1 walgreen coupon for each ite. so ay $9 each, you get one free. then a $2 off, makes it $7 for 2. then (2) $1 off makes it $2.50 each or $5 for both. hope this helps.

      • TJ

what makes it $2.49 each is because you get a $1 RR from walgreens to use on nexy purchase.

      • Hschmid82

the walgreens coupon takes $1 off twice

    • Carol

Okay I went to my walgreens and I got the three  deodorants and three body washes and I used my b1g1 coupons and then the cashier tells me that she wont scan the $2 off coupons becuase I had used the b1g1 coupons and its only one coupon per deal…Was I really not allowed to use both coupons?

      • Lexusltb13

i thought it was 1manu coupon and 1 wag coupon per item.  that should have worked. i have found it best at walgreens to stick to one great person there and them only.

      • Stefbo00

If you had 3 of each coupon and they were all manufacturers coupons, I think they can limit that.  You can use one manuf. and one walgreens coupon on each item but I believe the $2 off was not a walgreens coupon.

      • Greg

The b1g1 q attached to the deodorant, the 2.00 off would attach to the body wash. It should work just fine.

      • Kristina

I had no problems with them accepting the coupons, but the register didn't like it since our Gilette bodywashes were BOGO 50% off and none of us realized that.  Just a heads up. If there's a way to scan the MC first (which they finally did) they'll come off and the discount came off at the end. If they knew they were doing that, I'm sure they wouldn't have let me. I didn't know until I left and looked on the receipt.  And I don't think they're supposed to be on sale. I hear Walgreens can have weird glitches.

    • Vandyatkins

I dont know about anywhere else but the walgreens around Duncan SC. are horrible with stocking items. or either there are some greedy coupons around here. I have been going to walgreens every week for the last couple of months and they never have any of the items the deals or on. and so far even rainchecks havnt done any good. 3 weeks after a deal and they still havnt restocked. ok im better know.lol

      • Lexusltb13

coming from a retail background, i would say they eithier ran out or they are not restocking because they dont want to deal with all the coupons. have you tried another store in the area?

    • Princessjb114

I just went to Walgreens and tried to buy the Off Clip Ons. The cashier there said I couldn't use the b1g1 and the $2 off! Even though I had 2 items? Is that right?

      • llindsey4000

        Did it today.  No problem.

      • Audreyreese

I did this today, but they did not want to let me do it.  It took 2 cashiers and a manager, but I convinced them to scan my coupons, and they all worked.  According to their coupon policy, it is ok, but they tried to tell me I had too many coupons.  If you are using the WAGS store coupon as well, I would make sure you have a filler item (though I don't think it is really necessary.)   One item should be attached to your BOGO coupon, and the other one should be attached to the $2 off coupon.  Good luck, I hate coupon confrontation!  I was shaking, but I knew I was right!

      • Elizabeth

        I did it no problem
        Buy 1 @ 8.99
        Get 1 Free
        Use 1 $2 off coupon
Use the $1 off Walgreens coupon in the May booklet (applies to both)
        TOTAL $4.99 for two!

      • Guest

The $2 coupon does say not to be conbined with another offer…..Up to you what u think is right

    • Leslie

Is the $4 RR for buying 3 packs of cottenelle still good or is that over. I thought I had read where it was month long deaal.

      • Fromkhadija

I think that one was over on the 15th.

    • SweetGirl

Did someone heard about new Walgreens policy: 1 RR per day and no multiple transactions!!! it is not official but a lot of stores do this way now!!!

      • Princessjb114

My store is doing it! Lebanon, Tn. and they allow you to receive more then one RR just not on the same items. For example if the special is Gillette Razors and the RR is $5 dollars I can only use that sale once! They also limited the amount to only 2 items per special! Which is GREAT, cause I coupon, not extreme coupon.

      • Mel Jolley

I shop in Springfield, TN and they are usually out of things by Monday. How are they limiting register rewards with no store card? I love the deals at Walgreens and thats the only reason that I put up with the aggravation. I found out today that my commissary accepts Walgreens RR so from now on I will do one transaction with the things that I need and get all my RR to use on groceries!

      • Guest

I've been an assistant manager with the company for 5 years. That is definitely not official. I'm really not surprised they're trying to limit it, but you could probably find another one nearby that will work with you.

    • Fionawallace

Anyone else notice that the store books which used to be walgreens coupons are now manufacturers coupons ? Not such a good deal anymore:(

      • Gatorginger

They are still walgreens coupons but you have to make sure they scan your manufacture coupons first and then give them your walgreens coupons are their register will beep.

    • Stamping_girl

i am not that familiar with walgreen's and about to go. do they have a frequent buyer card to get deals

      • I am new to Walgreens, too, but the RR are apparently like catalina’s, or in other words, manufacture’s coupons that you can use anywhere. Read the tips & tricks, #6 http://www.southernsavers.com/2009/03/walgreens-tips-tricks/

      • Fromkhadija

        No, they don't.

    • Can someone explain what the filler items are for?

      • Fromkhadija

I think it's because you can't have more coupons than actual items you are buying.  For instance, if you use a manufacturer's coupon and a store coupon on one thing, you'll need to buy another little thing to use both of those coupons.

      • Bamasaver

Walgreens requires you purchase at least as many items as the total number of manufacturer coupons you're using.  Their store coupons don't normally count (as least in the stores where I shop) & RRs are counted as manufacturer coupons.  HTH (I found it very helpful to read the getting started guide above when I first started shopping at Walgreens)

    • Is the Colgate ProClinical $1/1 Q regional? My 5/15 SS has .75/1.

      • Bamasaver

Inserts are regional.  I sometimes don't get some of the coupons listed and/or get coupons that are a different value than what's listed.

Hi! I have a question and didn’t really know where to post it. I recently started purchasing coupons on Ebay. About a month ago I bought (what I thought would be mailed to me) a $5 off Physicans Formula make up coupon. What I received via email was a PDF file for the coupon. It would allow me to print several copies. I saw posts one time where people on coupon blogs were sharing the PDF.  Is it wrong to use this coupon?? Any help would be great!! I just love coupons and I don’t want to do anything that could ruin it. Thanks

      • Serenitylove14

Ive used about 30 of those coupons…. But I would limit it to less than 5 per transaction or they may say something to you.

        • Bella

          Is it considered fraud??

    • Laura

For the RR deal with the Old Spice and Gillette  Bodywash could I get 2 Old Spice and 1 Gillette? Or would the RR not print?

    • Laura

I was looking into the Old Spice and Gillette Body Wash 3/$10. Could I buy 2 Old Spice and one Gillette Body Wash and get the $3RR or would I have to to buy 3 of the same?

      • Laura

Didn't mean to post it twice….didn't think it worked the first time. Sorry!

      • Bamasaver

You can “mix & match”, all three do not have to be the same brand.

        • Laura

          Thank you!

    • Mel Jolley

Just had to share my Walgreens shopping for this week:

      (2) Schick Hydro 5 Blade Razors

      • Valencia537

Did u use 3 mfc for the tape?

        • Honieb06

yes, three. Scanned the store cpn first. Im sorry….I didnt see a reply until now.

    • Kmclinard

Do you have to get a card to get the RR or is this just from you purchasing the advertised items to get them?  I am new to this and still trying to figure it out.

      • Tawanda

No, you don't need a card for Walgreens deals.

      • Caitlin

No, the RR are going to look like a coupon that will print out when your transaction is done.  The cashier should give it to you.  It does have an expiration date, partly to bring you back again soon :)  What I do, I am single so after a bit, have all I need or nothing on the sale works,  I use mine for milk or something.

    • NewMommy2

I had a great trip to Walgreens yesterday.

      (3) Gillette Deodarant (Free wyb bodywash)

      Total Spent $2.25
      Total Savings $42.59

I just had to add that I can understand where everyone is getting frustrated with their Walgreen's being out of the sale products, HOWEVER, I work at Walgreen's and I myself order those products and I myself order 40 of each scent of body wash just so my coupon customers will be happy.  EVERY time I order it the product does not come.  The reason it does not come is because the warehouse is out of the product.  We don't hide product or just don't put it out because we don't like to deal with people with coupons.  That is just plain ridiculous.  Anyone that actually believes that doesn't deserve the product to begin with.  And the only time my store will limit the number of transactions or quantity on your product is if we have 8 in stock and you want to buy 6 of them at one time.  Not going to happen because others deserve a chance at the deals too.  If I have 30 on the shelf and you want to buy 10 then I will stand there and ring you up as many times as it takes for you to get all of your register rewards and use all of your coupons.  At my store we have really good coupon customers, none that complain like some here, and yes we have some cashiers that don't fully understand the coupons and play it safe more times than they should.  But if they don't they will get fired and in the world today that's just not worth your coupon.  I strive to make sure I know all of the ins and outs of the coupons, what coupons are available, what coupons aren't working like they should and what I need to do to ensure they do work, not every cashier does that and they don't have to.  So next time instead of over it with wags!!! Try over it with your local store because all Walgreen's are not the same and some of us go the extra mile to make sure our coupon customers are taken care of and are happy even though we get absolutely nothing in return.  Think about it.

      • NewMommy2

Nicely said ^*^ I love Walgreens and haven't had any problems with anyone, the employees at the store I go to are so nice to me and always do great with my coupons!

      • Gatorginger

I have a great walgreens and I learned after a few mistakes how to master the coupon world at walgreens

      • Jessicahurff

I love our Walgreens!  They are very friendly and helpful and I don;t ever have any issues with them at all.

    • zhuzhu

Does anyone know what the participating restaurants are for the $25 voucher, when you buy the 42 ct prevacid deal?

    • Valencia537

I don't see a loreal coupon in the may coupon booklet?

    • Gabulldawg

Went to Walgreen's yesterday in Thomson , Ga they had the Gillette Fusion razors on clearance for $2.74 I had 2 $4.00 off coupons and bought 4 of them for a total of .85 including tax!! :) Hope yours will do the same!

    • Evil Betty

Big unadvertised money maker!  I heard it is not going on all over the country but those who can get it, HURAY!!!  They have the crystal clean reach toothbrushes on sale for $0.99 this week.  They are starting a big catalina deal where you buy 4 or more of ANY reach toothbrush get a 4 RR.  It is supposed to start on 6-1 but in my neck of the woods it is already going on.  I was able to get 8 toothbrushes (in 2 transactions) and used 8  $1/1 from SS 4-17 to score 8 brushes for FREE plus I walked away with 8 RR so I made 8 in RR!!!!

    • Kenzbug

I went into Walgreens today to get the Goody Powders.  I used the $3 in-ad coupon and a $2 coupon printed from facebook.  It would not take my m q and the cashier said I needed a filler item.  I always thought that was if you were using the store coupon from the coupon booklets.  Sure enough though, I got a piece of candy and the computer took my m q then.  Am I just mistaken or is this another new policy of Walgreens?

      • sherry

there policy clearly states you are allowed 1 walgreen coupon and can use 1 manafacutre coupon together.. i did 3 of them and paid less than 4.00 for 3 boxes

      • Evil Betty

I did the deal with no filler.  You have to hand over the manufacture q first, then store q.  I find this is always the best order to have them scan the q's

Walgreens has Gillette Deoderant on sale for Buy one get one 50% off. How does a Buy one get one free coupon affect that sale item?

    • LuvnQP's

I had a good Morning at Walgreens! First of all the Walgreens here is 24hrs so I typically late, around 10 or so. Today I went at midnight. There is hardly anybody there and the are typically re-stocking the store so I have a better chance of getting an item even if it isn't on the shelf. Secondly, anytime I spend $20 bucks an it include to packs of pampers in addition to other items, I think I have done great. Three Transactions:

      Transaction #1
      (2) Huggies Pampers $18.00 ($9ea)
      (4) Tylenol Precise Heat Packs $31.96  ($7.99ea)
      I used:
      (4) $5 MFG Tylenol QP's
      (4) $3 Tylenol WAG May Booklet QP's
      (2) $3 Any Huggies Pampers
      Total w/tax  $16.46 earned $3 RR
      Total Savings $41.98

      Trans #2
      (3) Gillette BW $3.33
      (3) Gillette Deodarents $4.99
      (1) Huggies Baby Wipes $2.99
      (1) Pringles $0.99 (filler)
      I used:
      (3) $2 off Gillette BW
      (3) Buy Gillette BW get Gillette Deo Free
      (1) $0.75 any huggies wipes
       $3 RR
      Total w/tax $2.29 earned $3 RR
      Total Savings $32.36

      Trans #3
      Angel Soft 9Roll Tissue $4.00
      I used:
      $3 RR
      Total w/tax 1.36
      Total Savings $3

      Total OOP $20.11
      Total Savings $77.34

      Not too shabby eh?

    • Chriss

Ok, I know I'm a little late this week, but I hope someone can help me figure out the Gillette body wash & deodorant deal.  I don't have 3 (only 2) of the coupons listed in the deal.

I have 2 of the $2 off body wash cpns, 2 of the buy one body wash get one deodorant cpns, and 2 of the buy one deodorant get one deodorant cpns.

Can I do this deal buying only 2 body wash and 2 deodorant?  Or how can I make this work????

    • Greg

    • Yale

okay…i need some help. im new at couponing (and im obsessed) but yesterday i had an isse with the tylenol  precise. i have got 2 packages at 7.99 each, i brought to the register 2- ($5.00) off manf coupons and 2-($3.00) off walgreen coupons. The cashier said i could not combine them to get it for free bc the vaule of the coupones exceed the total value. i was reading the coupon policy for walgreens and if im understanding correctly, i think they should have accepted it but the vaule would have just decreased to the sale? am i wrong or what am i missing? thanks for any tips/advice yall can give me

      • Olemissfan02

no, you are exactly right. i had the same thing happen to me when i first started couponing. i pretty much just stopped going to walgreens because they are hard to deal with. can't be of more help, but just wanted you to know you're not alone.

        • Olemissfan02

they don't know their own coupon policy. you can call a manager up to get it worked out, but sometimes the manager doesn't work with you either. walgreens is the worst about this. i have had NO problmes with cvs or rite aid.

      • LuvnQP's

You needed a Filler item. Like the Royal Jello or such. Your coupons exceeded the amount of your purchse not including tax…$7.99 but Coupons $8…just a penny I know but it won't work….This WILL fix it…I have purchased several since this deal started and this fixed your problem!

    • LuvnQP's

Alert! Hair Color is on clearence for $0.69 at Walgreens on Hwy 69 and CVS $1.00 on Stillman Blvd….Loreal, and Clairol Nice and Easy, FREE + overage when you use recent QP's…..(FYI Tuscaloosa, AL)
