    • RM

sweet checking to see if i got that coupon right now!

    • Scrooge

      • Phillis

I have a few extra if you would like them. E-mail me at phillis.rogers58@gmail.com.

      • Scottsmom

I agree! Not in the Telegraph or the Union Recorder! Bummer!

      • gardengirl

You get the same q's that we get in Columbus for the Red Plum. If you can locate a AJC, they have great q's.

        • Scrooge

Do you get coupons in AJC if your live out of delivery area and it is mailed to you?

          • Lorywd

No you don't. We are in Monticello and they said we could do subscription by mail but no inserts would come with it. :( I drive 30 miles to Covington to get my double paper at Walmart.

            • CouponingHomeschoolingMom

Does anyone know if anywhere in the Macon area sells AJC? They used to have boxes set up for the AJC and Macon Tel., but I haven't been able to find one in forever. I really hate not getting the good coupons.

    • Kennemere

I don't have that coupon in mine :(

    • tabitha

Good thing i got two papers today- yippee!

    • tabitha

Good thing i got two papers today- yippee!

    • Aaridley

Is there a limit? Thanks to the WISK CVS deal ( 47 cents for five bottles!), I bought 5 papers this weekend!

      • Jjfrugalfriends

I know about the $2 coupons but how did you get 5 for .47?

        • San

          yeah, I had to pay$1

        • Debra

Hi, I just came back from Publix and they also had a good sale on Wisk. It was on sale for $4.49 and with the coupon, it ended up being 2.49 which is a great price.
It sounds like to me that Jjfrugalfriends bought 5 papers to get the deal at CVS. You had to buy 5 to get back $10 in ECB's, she also used ECB's along with her 5 coupons to get that deal on Wisk.

        • Aaridley

i had a cvs coupon $5 off $25. . .and of course i am counting the ten ecb i got back. :)

      • Practice_peace

No limit, but you can only get one RR per item per transaction and you can not use the RR to buy a duplicate.

    • Aaridley

Is there a limit? Thanks to the WISK CVS deal ( 47 cents for five bottles!), I bought 5 papers this weekend!

    • Estimm

I got 4 papers today, so I will definitly stock up on it. This is the brand I use so makes it even better. Im new to using walgreens, so if I buy 4 do I get the $1.50 RR 4x's or just one of them?

      • Cathy

You need to check out in 4 separate transactions to have the each of the $1.50 RRs print out. If you check out in 1 transaction only 1 RR will print.

Also do NOT use a RR that you get for the Finish product to pay for another Finish product. If you do the RR will not print! Good luck!!

        • Estimm

Thanks Cathy and Macboy for the info.

      • You will have to get them in 4 different transactions WITHOUT using the RRs from the Finish products.

    • Timjen07

I had four of the coupons today, went to Walgreens and asked to check out in separate transactions. The first one worked fine, but when I went to use my RR on the second transaction, they would not use the RR and the coupon because the pre tax total was less than the RR was. Has anyone else tried this today? Did it work?

      • Leah

All you have to do is to add another product with it. Maybe a pack of gum or something?

      • You will not receive another RR using the same item's RR from a prior transaction even if the pretax total exceeded the value of the coupon.

      • Bunnagain1263

I went and did 3. I tried it on the second one, but it wouldn't take it. I believe you have to use a filler item.

    • ClemsomMommie

Yaaay! Just got ours! Love being paid to take groceries home!!

    • Jayhawkash

I haven't been to Walgreens yet, but usually the Finish Quantum is more expensive than the regular Finish. So I'll be curious to see if the Quantum is also on sale for $3.49.

      • Asanders268

the coupon isn't limited to jut the quantum (confusing layout though!) it is also good for the powerball or gelpacs. hope this helps!

        • Molly T

Yup! I just got 2 of the finish gel packs and 2 of the powerballs, neither of them the quantum and the coupon worked for both!

    • Cathy

The wisk coupon or this coupon was not in my local paper. I did buy the Washington Post and both of them were in that paper, but it's not worth buying 5 papers at $2 plus tax. One free pack of dishwasher soap is great!

      • Mom of 4

You need to find product with overage to cover the cost of the papers….. I only paid $ 4.00 and got 4 papers and a set of head phones (with a raincheck). This is the first time I've bought more than 2 papers, but there was enough in it to make it a great deal.

        • Bryarsmom

As you grow accustomed to working these deals, you'll be amazed how quickly you are paid back for the cost of papers! I recv'd 5 inserts in each of my 10 today & made money off them the moment I walked into RA this morning to begin my deals.
I usually buy/obtain between 15-18 papers each week.

          • Cathy

Okay, that makes much better sense to me. Thanks! I usually only focus on the deals I need and can use.

    • Cwalkden

Thanks! Scored this and used it on my papers so I could go to CVS and get the wisk.

    • Bee

I was in shock when I saw that coupon (Knox News) this morning. Cascade Complete is the best dish detergent out there (that stuff is downright amazing) and I got that at the Kroger P&G Mega Sale, but I will definitely try the Quantum as well. Awesome!

      • Dee from TN

Quantum is pretty good too. Definitely worth trying.

    • Samwise

      What's the RR?

    • Rfpatrick001

      Awesome Deal! Thanks!

    • Jthomas

The Palmolive dishwashing detergent is also FREE. There is a store coupon in the Walgreens circular and a Palmolive coupon. Match them up and you can get 2 Free!

      • Jthomas

The Palmolive dishwashing detergent is also FREE. There is a store coupon in the Walgreens circular and a Palmolive coupon. Match them up and you can get 2 Free! The Palmolive is in the Sunday paper .

        • kidsryourlegacy

There is a palmolive coupon in the circular. But where is other palmolive coupon in an ad?

      • Bee

My Palmolive coupon says they are only good on 20 ounce and the ones on sale at Wag's are the small ones.

    • Kacie

      still intimidated by Walgreens…
is there a limit on the FINISH? From what I understand I can't use the RR for the same item so I would have to use both Qs in same transaction, correct?

Also- where can I get the Walgreens circular for Palmolive? is this the weekly ad?

      • Dianne L

I don't know if there is a limit on the number of Finish products you can buy, but you will HAVE to do each one in a separate transaction and NOT use the RR you get for the next transaction. If you do more than one in a transaction, you will only get one RR. And if you try to use one of the RRs you get on this product, for the next one you buy, the RR will not print. In other words, you can only buy one at a time, and only use your manufacture's coupon on each transaction. Walgreens is too complicated. It's even too complicated to explain!! HTH…sigh. :)

        • Brooke249

Thanks!!! You answered each question I had!

      • The quantity allowed will vary by store.

You can get the circular online at walgreens dot com and print out the circular coupon.

    • Sarcasticangel_82

Finally, I got a kicker cupon 2! :) Sometimes, I dont have the great ones that get listed! Yeah!

    • Denise

I recieved the same coupons in the smart source and pg in the 12/29 grocery ads fliers. So you have not recycle your junk grocey ads from wed or thurs there shoul be ads with smart source new you new year

    • Tripp

I just found my coupon and I planning my visit tomorrow! Thanks for all the great deals posted!

    • Shelleyschu

Yeah! Found it in the AJC! Going tonight after little one is asleep — Last year I got 6 boxes for a grand total of $1.29. Looks like this is a yearly occurrance for Finish. Lasted me about 8 months. I've been waiting for this deal again. Love Ya, Jenny!!!!

      • Lara

Shelley…where in the AJC did you find yours? I've looked and looked (at least in the SS) and can't find anything.

        • Shelleyschu

Inside of the last page of the AJC SS with Happy New Year. Just bought the box on Barrett and Dallas Hwy store. Will go back when the truck comes in or check another store.

Woo Hoo. Love getting deals like this one. As an unemployed person, it is helping us to stretch the budget and meet the obligations!!

    • Brittany

I am new to couponing and am trying to start this new money saving hobby this week.
I am just curious…how is it that you save so much money? I am trying to make my weekly grocery list of items I need, and I am confused as to what coupons I can combine seeing as how it's hard to find store coupons and mfr coupons are everywhere but you can only use one MFR per item? So no matter how many MFR coupons I can find in the paper/printables online, I can only use 1 per item correct? For instance, I have a coupon for get $1.00 off 2 boxes of cereal. So if I were to buy 6 boxes of cereal and there's no store coupons, I can only save $3. Is this right? Please help! Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

      • Racingmom99

First of all, don't panic. It will take some time but if you watch the videos on this site under “how to coupon” you'll get it down in no time. Yes, you will only save three dollars the way you laid it out. However, you want to wait until an item is at its lowest price about every six weeks (watch the site) and then use your mfr and search for store coupons at that time. Good luck and have fun.

        • Brittany

Thank you for your help! :)
Where do you find the store coupons? I just signed up for the Kroger plus card/mail in coupons, Do you just stick with the paper insert store coupons to match with your mfr ones?
          THANK U!

          • tygirl13

Everytime you go to the store, be on the lookout for coupon books. Stores will often have them in various places and if you keep up with the Kroger comments, people will often let you know when a new book has been spotted. Coupon etiquette is to take two (books or coupons) and move on. If you are in the store later and there are still some left then take a couple of more – this way you are at least giving others a chance. It takes time to build your coupon “inventory” but it is totally worth it. If you haven't already, I would recommend that you check out the “learn to coupon” box at the top of the page. Jenny has some really great videos that are very helpful.

          • meme

I also started saving more by requesting free samples. Usually the sample will include a nice coupon, sometimes a higher value than comes in the insert coupons. So sign up at All You online and get their daily sample plus watch this site for additional notices on free samples.

      • katie

It takes time to see the really big savings in your grocery bills. The biggest way to save money is to stockpile when you can match a coupon with a sale. Right now, you'll have to buy the regular things that you need, plus you'll want to stock up on some things that are a really good deal this week, so you won't see those mega savings.

By stock up, that typically means enough of that item for 6-8 weeks. (Reason for this: if you look at the “learn to coupon” you'll see that if it's on sale now, it will likely be on sale again in 6-8 weeks.) So yeah, you may not get a great deal on the cereal you need for this week, but the next time it goes on sale, you'd match your coupons and stock up so that you didn't have to buy it until the next good sale.

I've been doing this for about 3 months now. For the first month, I was spending pretty close to the same as I was before I was couponing, but I was getting WAY more stuff. Now, I have a good stockpile, so I really only pick up good deals plus the staple items (milk, bread, fruit, meat when I find it on sale, etc.) With the stockpile I have, I don't have to buy much and could get away getting everything I need (plus some stuff we don't :P) for our family of 4 for under $30 each week (including diapers). I typically shop at Harris Teeter and Rite Aid, with a little Aldi thrown in.

    • Dawnkeyotie

Yay!!! I am brand new to couponing and used this sale/coupon as my first experiment. It worked!! The Finish was FREE! The ice cream wasn't, but my husband really wanted it. haha! Still, it was very exciting!

      • Bev

Congrats! Couponing is so much fun! I started Jan 1st of 2010, so I've been doing it a full year now. I've kept track of my savings and have averaged a savings of 62% on every grocery-related purchase I made (that's an average–so it wasn't every deal!). It made SUCH a HUGE difference in our grocery budget (and getting rid of a lot of debt) in just one year. You'll be so glad you're doing this!!!

    • Amykins

Just wondering if anyone bought the trash bags….was there any problem with the force flex vs. the regular ones?

Thanks Jenny for all you do! I love this site!!

    • tori729

AWE.SOME. I just went out to get the free paper that comes every Sunday and it was in there! Although since I don't do Wags I'll probably be saving it for another deal.

    • Oceanfan2001

Thanks Jenny…we got it here in Jacksonville as well. I'm heading out to buy more papers! It's a great coupon week for me!

    • RebeccaFer

I'm in Concord, NC and the Charlotte Observer had this. I'm so glad I did one last check on SouthernSavers before I left this afternoon! Thanks Jenny! I was able to get four at one store and four at another. Our prices were higher though so with coupon and tax it was $1.51 – $1.50 RR made it a PENNY each! LOVE IT! :D

      • RebeccaFer

Correction, it's a MM!!! I'll be able to use this q at HT for SD since it starts with a 5 making me $1.49 per purchase!!!! :D

        • Bev

Rebecca, How are you able to use it for Super Doubles at HT? I thought we can only use coupons up to $1.98 in value…

          • RebeccaFer

The catalina is for $1.50 off your next purchase so it will qualify. The cashier could, however, take it out since it does say Do Not Double on it. It is a YMMV thing but I have a store that is pretty great so I think I'll be ok. Got my fingers crossed! :D

    • I'm in SW Florida (bought the Sarasota Herald-Tribune) and DID get the coupon, which contributed to one of my best Walgreens trips ever! I spent just over $3 and saved $115. (Click my name for photo & detailed transaction info.)

    • Molly T

Has anyone actually TRIED the palmolive deal? I see the ad states .99 for the 10 oz, but the coupon $2/2 is for 20 oz. There is a coupon for the 10 oz for .50 off. Just wondering if anyone actually got it for free.

      • PTV09E

I think it will be dishonest to use $2 off 2 10 oz items when coupon indicates to use it on 20 oz. I guess it is left up to the individual, but it gives a bad rep to us, the couponers, if we do it dishonestly just to make few bucks or a get a freebie.

        • Molly T

I totally agree. Yikes, I hope that wasn't what it sounded like I was implying!!! I was more wondering if although the wags ad stated 10 oz, if their 20 oz was on sale too and they got the deal that way. So just so we're all clear…this really isn't a deal for free palm olive right?

      • Thesmithsofop

I actually did use it last night at both CVS and at Walgreens before coming home and seeing your post. I honestly never realized the size requirement on it. I know I will check them better now.

    • Us3_shuz

did not get one in my smart source not on- line either?

    • meme

I bought two Anderson Independents at a convenience store today and I not only got the five inserts, there were duplicates of three of them in each paper. That was a nice surprise as I usually get shorted one. I also got the Finish coupon.

    • Dkshipp57

I got SS and the others but the finish what I need most wasn't in there. Chatt Tn out of 6 papers every week half time don't get the good ones. God Bless y'all that did

      • Mistydawnwall

You need to start ordering them. My friend and I live in Athens. We would get the Times and the Sentinel on Sundays. Then decided to start ordering the inserts from wholecouponinserts(dot)com. I found out there are WAY WAY WAY more coupons in those. Check it out. We get the 10 of each package and split it… so if you have a friend to go in with you it is worth it. HTH

        • keleikins

how much does each insert cost when you purchase that way, and how long does it take for them to arrive in the mail?

          • Mistydawnwall

Smartsource is usually .55 each. Redplum is .50 each. P&G is around that same price. Or you can get a package of 10 each. On the weeks that there are only 2 inserts (1 SS and 1 RP), it runs about $10 for 20 inserts, plus shipping. You can order them on Thursday/Friday. And get them Monday/Tuesday. My friend ordered last Thursday. They shipped Friday. Received Monday. HTH.

Only time I buy a paper now is if it is a MUST to get the item on Sunday.

      • Tracey

I went to a couponing workshop in Chattanooga and the newspaper was there offering a special subscription that provided 5 Sunday papers delivered to your house! Check out time2save website to see if they might have a ,link to still get this deal.

        • Dkshipp57

That is what I get. They said inserts but they give whole paper which is a waste. Live in country not many people to give them to. Did any of you get the coupon?

    • Melanieplynch

I looked through my SS at least 8 times and didn't see the Finish coupon. Then the 9th time, it was magically there! Happens to me all the time. I get all upset because I don't think I have a particular coupon in my paper, and then “poof” it's there. I'm certain there has to be a coupon fairy who hears my cries of anguish.

    • Jessy

I live in Seminole, FL and it seems that I am always following behind this one woman who likes to totally wipe off the shelves at both Walgreens and CVS. The cashier told me yesterday that she came in an purchased all of the Oscillium products and all of the Finish items. It is so frustrating going to the local CVS and Walgreens on Sunday and seeing all of the items gone! Can't these stores limit the amount purchased??
I mean I go to church on Sunday morning…..not CVS and Walgreens…..

      • Bee

Well, you could go before church and wipe out the shelves and laugh as you imagine her complete frustration at not being the first one there, LOL! Just kidding.

Honestly, these people are always out there. Eventually they learn that they don't need all that junk, that they aren't going to get rich from selling it at a yard sale, and that every once in a while it's nice to use Cascade instead of Finish. That's my issue. I don't like being hemmed into using one particular product ad nauseum. New products are always coming out and I want to try them, not trudge out to a stockpile and feel I need to use up something I bought five years ago. Seriously, one thing that tempered me was seeing a lady on “Hoarders” a while back who had tons of Electrasol.

I don't even want one of the Oscillium products to be honest. We get Flu shots and if my kids get the Flu I'm taking them to the Dr to get something to shorten the duration. My kids probably wouldn't even contract the flu until the medicine had gone out-of-date anyway, LOL.

        • momto3boys

I so agree with you! Who cares about getting toothbrushes for FREE is you already have enough to last you the next couple of years. In this case I don't think “hoarding” is good couponing. I know tons of people on here who buy it just because its free or a good deal. Its not a good deal to me anymore unless I need it and I have the available space to put it. I think buying 15 papers on any given Sunday is silly. I have to ask myself are these folks really paying for the papers??? Most people are not donating the excess that they have. I had a friend who resorted to storing toilet paper, diapers for her unborn child, etc in her overflowing garage and then started storing them in the attic. Have you really gotten a good deal if you won't used it for several years? In my book the answer is NO!!!

      • Anonymous

From Walgreens coupon policy it does say
“When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.”
I suppose you could always speak w/the Manager about this & see if there is something that can reasonably done in regards to this.

      • Sandy

I went to 2 Walgreens today to use 1 coupon for the Finish gelpacs……both stores completely sold out………………all I wanted was 1 BOX ! I am going to talk to the manager of the store closest to me about this.

        Happy New Year!

      • momof3

If you go to the Wags on Oakhurst and Park, I'm suprised they even allow you to get the deal…I was visiting my parents for Christmas, and they wouldn't let me purchase 2 Wonka bars, using both coupons. The manager said that it was because I was “saving too much.” (We won't mention that I also purchased batteries for the kid's Christmas toys, and my total purchase was over $20….)

    • sc

Isn't it dishonest to use a coupon for something other than what it was intended for (even if it scans)? For example the finish coupon specifically says Quantum, not the regular detergent. Does anyone else struggle (like me) with using coupons while being morally conscious as well? What are your thoughts?

      • guest

the coupon clearly states you can use it on quantum, powerball, or gelpacs…

        • sc

You are right. I see that now. Thanks and I'll definitely be taking advantage of the deal. What I'm talking about does happen though and I'm just wondering how others deal with it. Another example is 1 per family per day offers where people just keep doing separate transactions to get away with it. Just because cashiers will do it doesn't make it right. I LOVE coupons and getting deals but I just want to do it honestly. Does anyone else out there struggle with this?

          • Margaretcoger

I struggle with it and am always saddened when I get to the grocery store and realize the coupon I was advised to use on my list doesn’t actually match the sale item. However, I usually just assume it was a SS oversight. I agree with Kathy too, I just have to worry about myself.

          • guest

I agree with you. My conscience won't let me do certain things that may be fine to other people. You have to listen to that still small voice.

          • Kathy

I decided a long time ago that I have enough to deal with in regards to my own integrity that I don't have time or energy dealing with others.

            • Kathy – one more time

I meant to write – that I don't have time or energy to deal with others and their integrity or lack of! I am not their conscience.

            • Yolanda

I'm co-signing with you Kathy. My responsiblity is to make sure I am couponing honestly. My life is too busy to worry about how someone else uses coupons. I wish I did have that kind of time on my hands to “struggle” with something so trivial. I devote any extra time I do have with helping those in need, not worrying about someone else's lack of integrity.

            • sc

My struggle I was mentioning was with MYSELF, I guess questioning how I do things and if I'm being honest myself and not taking advantage. Wow I didn't expect such a response! If you look at my earlier response you will see that that is what I meant.

        • Cathy

Thanks for pointing that out. I was so stuck on the word “powerball” that I walked out of the store, even tho I kept reading the coupon over and over. All that was left was the gel packs. I'll go back and grab one this afternoon.

      • Bee

You bring up some great points. In my opinion there are more honest couponers than not, but it's easy to focus on the dishonest tactics. One of my pet peeves is using various addresses to score extra rebates. I've heard this practice justified six ways from Sunday, but in the end it is mail fraud. Many of the forms state that it is a prosecutable action and also state products must be purchased by the person who is receiving the rebate and also that there is only ONE allow per individual, household, address, etc etc, etc. In other words, there is not really room for interpretation.

I don't use coupons for the wrong size product, either. Heck, I don't even use the high value coupons for trial sizes because I don't want to store a bunch of tiny one-or-two-use packages, not to mention the environmental impact.

In the end, I just do what is ethical to me. I can't really define the ethics of others, nor can I keep them from perhaps getting into trouble over a $10 rebate if they are determined to do so.

Yes, because we all know that companies don't operate with budgets and that normal people don't work for them.

      • Klynn

It says (quantum 20ct of higher), Powerball, or gelcaps. This is three different things if I'm not wrong.

      • momof3

This isn't misusing a coupon–It matches what's on sale. I do agree with you, overall. However, I also find that stores (Walgreens in particular) will take it too far the other way, and, for example, not let you use a coupon that should be for an item (i.e., the children's occi deal this week….)

        • Imajine

If you are talking about the January book of coupons, the coupon for the Occi clearly shows the adult version and says nothing about the children's version. I don't understand why everyone would think you should be able to use it for something that isn't even mentioned on the coupon. That is like having a $2 coupon for whole wheat Barilla pasta and expecting a the store to use it for the regular.

    • Gabriela

Random question. I tried to fins a coupon in my newspaper and realized I don't have it. Decided to look at the insert variations and my newpaper got that particular coupon. I noticed though there are coupons written in blue, some in red and some in black. Does anybody know what that means?

      • Gabriela,

Black means the Q was there, as planned. Red means it was not in that paper's insert, and blue means it was there but was different than the planned/announced or was not in the planned insert at all.

        HTH, Catherine

    • couponlover

I got 6 of these yesterday and today I checked my mail and my postman left me (2) more SS inserts. I will try to get another before the sale ends.

    • Shaw

and when you take the $1.50 coupon to HT for Super Doubles, it makes it an even better deal!

    • Ktillot

I planned to buy 2 of these in 2 transactions, but they wouldn't let me…they said only one coupon per person…uhh! Oh well, I'll go to another store and use my RR after work to get the second box!

      • Ann M.

Just make sure you don't use the RR for purchasing another box of Finish…your new RR for that new box will not print. Stinks, but that's the way it goes with RR…

    • Melissa

Thank you! The store only had 3 and I had 4 coupons but thanks!

    • Amy

In Richmond, Walgreens is testing a loyalty card program, so our deal was the same price ($3.49), but instead of RR, we get 300 points. I think I would rather have the RR, but it's still a great deal. Thanks, as always, Jenny!

      • Merrilee

thank you Amy for clarifying. I'm in the Richmond area & was confused when I didn't get the RR. I'm with you, I'd rather have the RR! :)

    • Meggie256

Knoxville News Sentinel SUCKS! :( I only got 2 coupon inserts instead of 5 and I didn't get this coupon. Always happens to me :(

      • Mistydawnwall

I quit buying it because of it. Instead I order from wholecouponinserts(dot)com.

      • Autball

My local paper sucks too. I buy the paper from the largest city in my area, always has more coupons!

      • Joey

I tend to have a hard time with Chattanoogas news paper they sometimes don't have any coupons. I have started looking through them before I purchase them.

    • I've never used coupons at walgreens, so help me here. How does the RR work? The detergent is 3.49-2.25 coupon equals 1.24. Do I get the 1.50 RR immediatly off the 1.24 or do i have to go back and buy another one to use the 1.50 RR? Should I buy two for 6.98-4.50 in coupons for 2.48 and can I use the 1.50 RR right there?

      • Tiggertodd2

The deal is only on one, I think, so this is how you do it. Buy the Finish and pay the $1.24 get the RR back for the next time. Then buy something totally different with those rewards because if you pay for your second detergent with it, it won't spit out your rewards for the second one. The second transaction you do can be something else that has rewards and you can pay for the third transaction (your other detergent) with it and it'll still give you rewards for the second that you can use on your next order whenever it is. Hope this makes sense, kinda hard to explain! LOL

        • Superchef

harristeeter takes the walgreens register rewards

    • Dawn

Our Wags was out of these, boo. Anyone know what the price is on them at Walmart or Target? I don't have a dishwasher but I was going to pick some up for my Mom who does, figures I would finally get a good coupon and then not get the product! I swear our coupons in our paper are always missing some good coupons!

      • Shelleyschu

Get a rain check. They will have it in soon. My Wags manager will call me once it comes in on the truck…or I call him daily. :-)

    • Sean

These are a moneymaker next week at CVS. They are $3 each. Buy $20 and get $10 ECB. So if you buy 7 and use 7 coupons they will be $5.25 and you'll get back $10.

      • LynetteC.

helpful post! I'll save my coupons for CVS!! I much prefer to go to CVS!

      • Che

Where can you get 7 of those coupons anyway??? I live on post at Ft. Rucker and we didn't get ANY of those $2.50 off Finish coupons in the Dothan Eagle, we just got a lousy $.75 off one. Any ideas?

    • Tiffany

I had a really bad experience with Walgreens last night. I rarely shop there, I always use CVS but with this deal, I decided to go. I have everything worked out, there were several things I was needing to get. I tried the Finish first, all gone, I asked a cashier about a raincheck (which took forever to find) and she said no. That's ok, I will try the other 2 scenarios I have, tried the Flex trashbags, they were $8.49, not on sale, so that didn't work, no big deal, I will try my last one, the shave gel and aftershave, cashier couldn't find them in the store. I always try to prepare 2 or 3 scenarios just in case because I am reasonable but this was terrible. I don't think I will be back there again. I will hold my Finish Coupons for CVS next week.

      • Kimberly

I would call back to that store and speak to the Manager, preferably the store Mgr. Tell them the day, and aprox time you were there. I have never been refused a rain check. Limits yes, mine is limiting to 1 per person per day because of the limited supply, but flat refusal, Never.
Either try another store, or contact corporate. They will want to know about this crummy customer service. (Who knows, you may get some coupons out of the deal.)

      • Galveston 2000

will the finish be on sale at cvs? wlg here always is out of adv items-makes you wonder if they even had any

        • Tiffany

I found the CVS Finish deal on Sean's post below.

        • If this happens constantly you should report them to the state. Most states require they have a reasonable amount of sale items in stock or they can not advertise it.

    • I guess Harris Teeter will have the Finish on sale starting tomorrow at super doubles. No money maker, but free is free!

Also, I got 4 things of Tidy Cat litter for nothing! I did the $20 get $5 RR deal, and the litter was on sale for $5.00 each. I bought 4 ($20.00) and had 4 $1.00 off coupons making it $16. I took my $10RR from the OMega, and the $1.50 from the Finish and used it and netted 50 cents! Very happy!

    • Jbillinger7367

I have had it with Walgreens…their RR is a joke if you used a coupon on and item you will not get the RR. CVS here I come.

      • This in only accurate in very *rare* instances. If this is what they told you they don't know how their coupon machines work.

    • Amyral

I am done with Walgreens too!! I went in on Monday and today and they did not have any of the Finish. They would not write me a rain check either. I went home and called the 1-800# and they said Walgreens policy is that they will not write a rain check for an item that has a RR. They usually only carry 5 or 10 of any one item so I guess unless you are one of the lucky people that get there on sunday and get the deal you do not get it. I am shopping at CVS from now on. They are so much nicer in that store and I like the store policies better.

    • Sherim0206

My Walgreens did not have any. The manager did offer Cascade at $1.99 for me. I did notice that CVS has it on sale starting Sunday 1/9 for $3 with $10 ECBs wyb $20. This is actually a better deal than Walgreens anyway so I am glad they were out.

      • Sewgrits

I was so upset when I have been in twice and there was not any there. I asked for the manager and told him it was not fair that I could get a rain check but not get the register rewards. I asked for a manager and I told him I was tired of losing out and not getting the register rewards even though I get a rain check for the item. He gave me a rain check for the items that included the register rewards. He said people come in about every hour until the items are gone, he said there was nothing he could do. They get the items and sell them at the flea market. I am going to call the main office and suggest that they do a card system that if it's limit 2 you can't keep coming back and getting 2 om different transactions.

    • To me it's a better deal at Harris Teeter this week.

      B1G1 @ $5.29
      – (2) $2.25/1 MFQ
      + $0.79 OOP for TWO!

I can't make multiple trips a week so this worked out better for me!

    • Arkmit

I've gone to two different Walgreens a total of 5 times. They said the supply truck would be in Thursday, went Thur. and they said no that it is Friday that the truck comes. Checked Friday and the truck came but they did not get (yea right) the Finish product. One store gave me a rain check and printed out the rewards for me to use when it comes in. Ok, I can wait. Maybe next week.

    • Eltaj

My sis and I both got 4 boxes each. Great deal!
