Has anyone actually seen this Kotex product in their local Walgreens? I've been to the two closest to me and neither one has them.

I'll try again today, but I was wondering if any of you have had any success.

      • Cindyrella2

Yes. I got one last week in Hendersonville, NC. Unfortunately, I'd had a busy week and didn't have my coupons clipped, so it still cost me 99 cents. I'm so happy to know that they are continuing the sale!

      • wendyc33

i did not see these either at my store, or i would of have got them.
I was on the aisle with the other feminine products, and did not see this brand anywhere. So if anyone knows where they might be located in the store let us know. Thanks

        • UGA DAWG

In the GA Walgreens they are on the endcaps and are still on sale. Hope you find them….my daughter likes them!

        • Susan

I had a hard time finding them as well. They weren't where the other feminine products were. They were on a a display at the end of the aisle(feminie products) at one store and they were at the end of another aisle(by headache med) at the other store. Not on the end cap but on the actual aisles.

      • Jenny

I actually had to ask someone there…I think it was the girl in cosmetics. She showed me a teeny tiny display on the end of an endcap that had maybe 4 of each product. It sure was hard to find! Good luck, y'all! :)

      • kpojero

I found them last week at Walgreens. They were not with the other feminine products. They were on a display at the end of one of the aisles.

        • Susan

Same here. They were displayed in a special cardboard box near the back of the store at the end of an aisle near the body washes at my Cumming, GA, store.

      • Sangurkie

They were on a table in the seasonal section of my Wags. There were none in the feminine aisle. I only found them because my daughter wanted to look at the Easter clearance stuff.

      • Jessica529

Like others have commented, my local Walgreens did not have them with the other feminine products. I asked about them and was shown a small display on the end of another aisle (I think it was the toothpaste aisle).

      • ChefLezlie

Thanks everyone! I'll keep my eye out while I'm in there.

      • SCwoman

they were beside the counter of the cosmetics department—if you can't find them there better ask the personnel for the cosmetics section as i noticed they are the ones setting up the feminine products as well

      • Phyllis

The Kotex product are in the Walgreens in Atlanta. I bought two Saturday.

    • Sarah

Did anyone notice after you print the coupon you can sign up for a free sample as well? I did on my computer…so I should be getting a few in the mail as well!

      • Susan

Just got my sample yesterday and there is a $1 coupon inside, too! Going back to Walgreens!

    • tbird54

Can you double coupons at Walgreens? New at this :)

      • Bobbie

Don't think so. I never have been able to.

    • minmm

I just left two walgreens, this item is not on sale this week.

      • meldeb3k

Same here, this item was not on sale at my Walgreens. :(

    • victoria70

The 50 cent knee-highs in my Walgreens were not NO Nonsense brand – they said “Bubble” on it and the product code was different. So, I could not get free knee highs. :(

    • mom23

Are there any other Qs available for these – the Kotex? Noticed CVS has $1 off, but does Walgreen honor competitor Qs? If so, get it from CVS.

    • kcreviews

Our Walgreens doesn't have the RR special on U by Kotex. I left the store very bummed out. They were all $4-5 and with no RR.

      • 3monkeysmom

Did you get a price check on them? I got two today at two different stores. The first store didn't have a sign indicating they were on sale with RR but I got my cashier to scan them and they were on sale and I got my RR :-) Second store had them clearly marked on sale with RR.

      • Michelle

Same here. They were two for $7+, and there was nothing indicating a cheaper price or that you would get a RR. Is there anything in print that I can take so that I will get the sale price and the RR? Where exactly did this information come from?

        • Michelle

I'm replying to myself to let everyone know that I think this depends on the Walgreens. I went to a different one later this afternoon, and they had the tampons marked as sale priced and that it would print a RR. I got two boxes (I had 3 coupons), and asked the cashier if she could ring them up separately. I got the sale price and 2 RRs. I still have one coupon left, so I may go back to that Walgreen's tomorrow to use my third coupon. All that to say, if they don't have them on sale at the Walgreen's you went to, maybe try a different one! :)

    • UGA DAWG

I bought it yesterday and it was on sale, no problem! The store manager even pointed it out to me. She was very helpful!!

    • scooter69

Our Walgreens in GA had them on the top shelf of the feminine product isle, but did not have a sign of being on sale or any RR. The regular ones did though and I had a $1.00 coupon but the RR did not print. He said the RR would not print if the total due after the coupon was less than the amount of the RR. ($3.49-$1Q = $2.49; RR$2.50). When I was checking out, he was helping the cashier with another coupon that the register didn't want to take when he noticed the $5 off coupon I was using for the Tylenol/Benedryl/Sudafed $5RR deal. He told me the same thing, no RR would print because the total due had to be equal or greater than the RR. This must be something new because I was paying for my purchases with a $10RR I received 2 weeks ago for the Dulcolax deal ($10-$4Q=$6; RR$10). I didn't have time today to ask about it while I was there. Has anyone else heard of this or of changes to their policies? I didn't go last week because I had such a hard time the week before. The register kept rejecting coupons and the manager kept trying to make up reasons, but none of them made sense. Like “you can't use both a Wags & Manf Q together” then “it's on sale, so you can't use the Q because it says $1 off “regular price” and then my favorite “the expiration date is the 30th” I told him it was the 30th. So then he said “that might mean it wouldn't work as of the 30th.”He also said on the first aid kits, since the kit was free, I couldn't use a coupon for the neosporin or the bandaids and that was why it wasn't taking them. I left very upset. I plan these trips carefully so I won't have any problems. I understand one here and there, but it was rejecting everything. Sorry, don't mean to go on and on…guess maybe I am still a little upset.

      • alyce

This scenario is EXACTLY why I won't go back to WAGS even though I drive right by it every day.

      • Barb

Um…all the deals you mention are deals I have participated in myself at WAG's the past few weeks. I got 5 boxes of the U Kotex for free as I had a coupon each time.

The most ridiculous one he told you was about the free first-aid kit. It rings up $4.98 and then the $4.98 comes off because you bought the required products.

The RR and other coupons are forms of payment. The RR machine does not care how you pay for your total!

Of course, my WAG bends over backwards for the customers. I saw one guy who purchased a particular variety of product not eligible for the RR. The exact product was out of stock, but the manager came over and gave him cash instead of an RR although technically he had not purchased the qualifying product.

        • Barb

Oh, and I meant to mention that yesterday I had two transactions. The first one I owed .77 and it printed a $3 RR. The second transaction I owed $1.04 and it printed a $2.50 RR.

          • sarahdj

Barb- I'm new to Wags…haven't wanted to deal with their rumored 'prickliness' until this deal…
Do you purchase a pack, use your coups, get the RR, then do another transaction for the next one to use your RR, or do you just put them all in one transaction?

            • Barb

Yes I always do at least two transactions. The cashier knows me and will even hold my RR because she knows I am just going to use it on the next transaction. Usually much less $ out of pocket when you do separate transactions.

Of course you have to remember that you cannot use a Kotex RR to buy more Kotex. So you could for example, buy a shave cream, use that RR for Kotex and filler item and use the Kotex RR for the next shave cream, until you are tired of doing it.

            • Barb

Oh, and it will only print one RR per transaction, so even if you buy two shave creams for example in one transaction, it will print just one shave cream RR.

I also try to use cash just in case the system ever uses debit cards to keep track of how many RR you get.

            • Susan

I am new as well and learned very quickly.. I accidently bought my Product with my RR I had gotten earlier in the day for the same Product and when I asked why they said it in perfect laymans terms… If you buy the Kotex the manufacturer is like giving you a one time gift. If you use that coupon on the same product the manufacturer is not going to give you another gift. You can use it to buy a Coke product or something else just not the one you got your “Gift” with.

          • Scooter69

Thanks for your comments. I have been doing this for over a year now and I don't know why these problems just started. The cashiers always do everything they can to help me out while I'm there, I don't understand it. The RR have always printed, like two weeks ago with the dulcolax, no problem with that purchase and the Walgreens coupons that weren't working were from the Children's activity book that I had used before with no problem (I had multiple books). They always worked before too.

      • NB

Hey Scooter – I also purchased the Tylenol with my $10 RR from the Dulcolax and the $5 RR didn't print out because the companies are related. I don't think it had anything to do with the coupons I used…the store manager checked it for me. I'm also in GA.

    • Gail

Ok so I'm new at this and trying to catch up – what does RR mean?

      • Susan

Walgreens “Register Rewards”… simply put.. “FREE Money”

    • kim

I just purchased Zyrtec 24 hour 45 count on sale for $26.99. This should generate a $7rr however there is a monthly deal where you spend $25 on certain allergy/meds you get $10rr so both rrs printed. I about fainted. First the $7 and then the $10! Combined with a $6 manufacturers coupon this makes a great deal in allergy meds. Pollen is bad here so I really needed it!
