Update: These deals are no longer working at Walgreens.

This week at Walgreens there is a Register Reward for Hallmark products, buy 2 products and get a $2 RR or buy 6 products and get $5 RR.  Turns out that Hallmark wrapping paper and tissue paper are part of the deal!  You are looking for the rolls pictured above “Color Studio a Division of Hallmark”.

Hallmark Wrapping Paper B1G1 at $1.99
-.50/1 Hallmark Wrapping Paper (Walgreens Coupon) printable

Hallmark  20 ct. White Tissue paper, 3 for $1 with in-ad coupon

Option #1
(2) Hallmark Wrapping Paper
-.50/1 Hallmark Wrapping Paper printable
Total Due: $1.49
Get Back: $2, makes both FREE + profit!

Option #2
(6) Hallmark Tissue Paper
3 for $1 in ad coupon (will work on all 6)
Total Due: $2
Get Back: $5 RR, you make $3 profit!

Note: You can’t do these deals back to back. If you use the RR that the first deal gave you to buy the same deal again no RR will print.  If this is confusing read the Walgreens Getting Started Guide.

I just ran out to my store and everything worked great the only hiccup the .50/1 coupon does beep but clearly states that it’s for Hallmark Roll Wrapping paper so they entered it without a problem.  Don’t forget about the other deals this week.

(I’m almost done with next week’s Walgreens ad and the Hallmark deal continues next week.  These items aren’t on sale but probably will still be included)

    • Trinitynsg

if you go to Walgreens.com and look at the weekly ad Dec5-Dec11, look through the ad and find the 3/1 coupon, you can print from there. Click on the coupon and another window will pop up, under the coupn it says click for printable. My paper went out with recycleing yesterday, so this was a BIG help, wanted to share.

    • Marissalmc

so, this is a stupid question, but you've said to make sure you spend the amount of RR's you have…so if I have 12 RR, do I have to spend $12 before tax, or including tax?

      • Maria

Yes, you have to spend $12 before tax, but if the $12 are separate, you dont have to spend them all at the same time.

      • Jaimee

Before tax. The RR will not cover tax.

      • Hmalora

You can not use your RR for tax

      • Amymac78

If you do not reach the $12 before tax, buy a filler item, peroxide or ornament hooks. Or look beside the register there are usually some $.39 candy or something to fill the gap if you need it!

    • Gwilly99

LOVE this!! Thanks so much for all you do. I don't think my family could make it without your help!!

    • Bamabobbie

I purchased the tissue paper Sunday afternoon and didn't receive a RR. How long has this been available? Also thanks Jenny for a workable link to the Wags coupon.

      • Bamabobbie

The coupon says on Holiday Roll wrap. They will put up a big fuss there I bet.

    • Don't you have to buy $25 worth of merch?

      • Bamabobbie

Not for the deal listed above.

    • flmom2

I am so frustrated with my Hallmark store! I went yesterday to purchase an ornament and they wouldn't let me use my coupon. They said they will no longer accept on-line coupons because of fraud! That was really Grinchy of them!!!!

      • Tracie

I too had a grinchy experience with Hallmark.

    • rebekah

any one know how long these RR will last until expiring?

      • Mine from this morning expires 12/24

        • rebekah

          thanks Jenny:)

    • gh

Worked like a charm!! The tissue paper is back in the Christmas section, regularly 99 cents. (Not the package of 20 sheets in the Hallmark section that normally costs $1.99). Same as the paper – it's made by a division of Hallmark so probably not the really thick kind but it was still free!! The coupon wouldn't scan so she just typed it in by hand.

    • Sweetasmnms

Can you use your RR to buy more wrapping paper and tissue paper?

      • MichelleK

No. You could but you would not recieve any more JC on the next transaction. If have other Jingle Cash with another manufacturer other than Hallmark you can use it and still get JC back….

    • Marcella Bess

Bought 6 yesterday and got 5RR back!! I was so excited! : )

    • rosewood4

ok so at my walgreens in greenville,sc I bought the two rolls of wrapping paper and got my 2RR with no problem but when I purchased the 6 tissue papers I did not receive the 5RR….oh well at least I got two rolls of wrapping paper and 6 things of tissue paper for $1.49 plus tax

      • gh

If you used the $2RR from the paper to purchase the tissue then a new RR will not print. You have to pay for them using a non-Hallmark RR, or with cash.

    • Debbie

I just got back from Walgreens, the wrapping paper worked, but I did not get a $5 RR when I bought the tissue paper. (St. Augustine, FL)

      • Rudydoescakes

did you use the rr from the first transaction? that's why. you can't roll it.

    • Ashleigh0721

is this an unadvertised deal? i did not see it in my weekly circular or online

      • Amy

It is in the ad small on the page with the tissue paper.

    • I got this deal ! It was awesome !

    • MichelleK

Thanks Jenny for posting! I use tissue paper all year round….to make/trace sewing patterns out of it…so the color doesn't matter to me….and I'm headed to Wags tonight for the revelon nailpolish….so now I can use my JC too!

    • Michelle

I got this deal this morning and then found a $10.00 super jingle cash coupon in the parking lot. I will pair the $5.00 and $10.00 jingle cash with a $5.00 coupon in the all you magazine to score a Tim McGraw cologne set for my tween son for free!!! Awesome, made my Friday!!!!!

      • Cathy

I've found a $2 RR in the parking lot once too! It's so great when that happens! It's crazy to think how much $ people lose by throwing those things out…..which is why I'm guessing that Walgreens has this system.

    • Elainehn2002

If I buy 2 rolls of paper and 6 packs of tissue paper in the same transaction will i get both RRs? or do i need to do separate transactions?

      • Cathy

I'm pretty sure you would need to do separate transactions. I did just to be sure I got my RRs!

      • Keldansmom

Just did it this am….need to do it in 2 transactions, otherwise you only get the 5 back….

      • Elainehn2002

Yep definitely need to do two transactions. I did mine together :-( and didn't get the $2 RR just the $5 one. (Didn't see the replies before i went and the store was crowded and I just didn't even think about doing it separately once i got there.) Anyway … spent $6.50 got $7.50 RR back … and have 2 rolls of paper, 6 pks of tissue paper, and a tube of toothpaste … I'll live with that! *lol*

    • Martha

The -.50/1 states not valid with any other offer. Is this not a problem?

    • Kimberly Broughton

I think its buy 3 Hallmark's and get $2. At least it is in Nashville area.

      • momof5boys

I was able to buy 6 cards @ .99 and get $5 back in the Lebanon, Tn store.

    • Pat

didn't know about the wrapping paper deal, but I have been working the card/nail polish deal all week in combo with the $4 off $9.99 toys – like this

      (1) Revlon nail polish @ $5.99
      (1) $1 off Revlon from WAGs coupon book
and any other non-Revlon RRs if you have them (requires a filler)
      Total Due: $5 or less
      Get Back: $5 RR (Revlon)

      Now Buy:
      (2) $9.99 toys
      (6) Hallmark $0.99 cards
      (1) $4 off ea toy in ad coupon = $8 off
      (1) $5 RR (Revlon) from above
      Total Due: $12.92
Get Back: $5 RR (Hallmark), $5 Jingle

Then, I do it again, but buy 2 toys and a nail polish, use the $4 off toys coupons and the $5 RR (Hallmark) from – roughly same oop, and get another $5 RR (Revlon) and $5 Jingle.

I have bought decent toys for all of my nieces and nephews this way. I just hope that there will be something good to buy next week with all of this Jingle cash.

      • Readytoexercise

What page of the ad are you finding the $4 off toy coupon? I can't find it but would love to use it!

        • Pat

There was a Wed-Sun sale circular that came out separate from last Sunday's reg weekly ad and the $4 coupon is on the front page. There were a huge stack of these circulars at the front of our WAGs.

    • Ellie

I am loving Walgreens. Last night I got 6 Snickers Nutcrackers, 6 Tissue Papers, 2 Crayola Pixies, a Toy Shopping Cart, and a Disney Princesses Pop Up Play Tent for $16.38 then I got back $5 Jingle Cash and $5 in Register Rewards. I am going back today for more free Snickers and Tissue Paper.

    • Cathy

I did this and it worked with no problem! Thanks, Jenny – it's great timing since we all need wrapping paper and I can use the white tissue paper all year! Make SURE you don't use a Hallmark RR to pay for your items because then the new RR won't print. I used a P&G RR and it worked fine.

    • Sheila1257

Murfreesboro Tn Wal Green knows nothing about the coupon for the tissue paper

    • Jessicagsmith

Did the tissue paper this morning in Acworth, Ga. Worked great!

    • Sheila1257

where is the coupon for the tissue paper? :)

      • Sheila1257

        LOL found it!

        • AbbyBabe126

Where?? I guess I'm blind because I have looked at the brochure in the store and online and I can't find it anywhere!! HELP PLEASE!!

          • Mary S

            page 15 of the ad

            • Abigail

Oops! I just realized I had been looking at the 4 day ad and not the weekly ad. I was wondering why the ad was only 4 pages long! Its been a long week! =)

      • katie mac

It's an in-ad coupon. If you didn't get an ad with the paper, they have plenty when you walk into the store. :)

    • Keldansmom

Thought I would try Walgreens again to get this good deal on wrapping paper and tissue paper. Got the jingle cash for the tissue paper without a problem, but they wouldn't take the coupon for the 0.50 off the wrapping paper…they said it wasn't Hallmark paper????? They wouldn't take the mars coupon from Sundays paper either….

    • Buckgirl80

Nothing EVER works for me at the store in Statesboro, GA. The woman at the front desk always disputes my coupons, and this one was not gonna get by her this morning either. She argued that the paper was not Hallmark, when it specifically says under the words Color Studio that it is “A division of Hallmark.” Then she said she would talk to management, but said on her way, that she “doubts they will let you use it.”

It is just too frustrating to have to argue about EVERY coupon. It has gotten to be so ridiculous, that I don't intend on going back to that store again.

      • I just got back from the Statesboro store… worked fine for me…

    • jjlsaver

Question: I printed the coupons from our large printer at work (it's a copy machine, fax machine, all-in-one) and they're black and white. Will they accept these or do I need color?

Also, if I want to get several “deals” on the wrapping paper, do I need to do separate transactions?

      • Mary S

I always print coupons in black and white–they work just as well and you save a ton of money on ink.

    • Debharden

I purchased 3 Hallmark cards and never recieved the jingle bucks? I will try the wrapping paper idea – Walgreens is so hit or miss for me with getting the RR's. It can be quite frustrating – however there is another good deal this week – $5 RR if you purchase $25. This counts on B1G1 items – Walgreens pull up's ar B1G1 and both packages count toward you earning the $5 RR even though you are only paying for one. I found this out by accident. Also B1G1 items you could use would be – Thomas engines – WWW Wrestler figures – Play Do items – Nerf items – Car from the Movie “Cars”. I racked up on some great Christmas items for my boys and now have $40 in Jingle bucks to spend next week. Yippeeee!

    • katie mac

I've got enough tissue paper to last a REALLY long time. :) I'm super excited because my Harris Teeter takes RR/Jingle Cash as competitor's coupons.

    • Nichols_again

Is the “in add coupon” for the tissue paper supposed to be in the flyer? I don't see it

      • Nichols_again

        oops…I found it

    • The History of Us

The Tissue Paper with the coupon in ad worked great for me and I got the $5RR/JC

A lady in front of me asked to use the .50/1 coupon and they said the $1.99 wrapping paper is a different division of Halmark and therefore not valid (the wrapping paper it was good for was $4.99 B1G1).

    • coolgirl

I didn't get my $2 back with the wrapping paper. The cashier said it wasn't in the circular. Did anyone else have a problem?

    • Mistydawnwall

It's hit or miss with Walgreens for me. Some days I leave there just so excited about my deals and somedays I leave there cussing under my breathe. I had both experiences today, lol.

Went to my first Walgreens and got the Revlon nail polish and 3 activity pads, used the 1.00 off for the revlon and the 3/$1 for the activity pads and $5 jingle I had from a week or so ago. Total oop before tax was .99 and got back $5 jingle.

Then I got the Crest, 6 Hallmark Tissues, 6 Snickers Nutcrackers, and 8 Christmas Tumblers. Used $1 off for crest, $2 off snickers and $5 jingle from first transaction. Total oop before tax was .49 and got back a $2.50 jingle and a $5 jingle (so the Hallmark worked for that one).

Then I went to another Walgreens. I got 2 of the wrapping papers, 6 Snickers Nutcrackers, 1 Glade, and 3 activity books. Used .50 off wrapping, $1.00 off Glade, $3/1 books and $2.50 Jinge from the previous transaction. Total oop before tax was $1.98 but didn't get back ANY Jingle. :( Should have gotten $2 for the wrapping paper and $1 for the Glade.

Makes me almost want to NOT use any Jingle on something that gives Jingle back. The cashier said that it was because I used so many coupons. Maybe I should have stayed at the first Walgreens. :( I really wanted those $3 more. Was going to use it for toys to donate. :(

      • Amy

You cannot use a register reward for the same thing you want one for….

SO you used a Hallmark one from the 1st transaction..the 2nd transaction you want a Hallmark RR. That will not work. I am not sure about the glade unless you got the wrong one.

        • Mistydawnwall

I didn't use the Hallmark Register Reward on the second transaction.

    • K8

I went to get the B1G1 wrapping paper and use the 50 cents off coupon and the Walgreens store in Centerville Ohio did not take the coupon. They said it can only be used on the expensive hallmark paper and the register kept beeping and wouldn't take the coupon. I was bummed, but I did get 2 rolls, spend $2.14 and got $2 back in JC so paying $.14 cents is still a good deal. anyone else have a problem using the coupon on the color studio hallmark paper?

      • Keldansmom

Had the same problem this morning in Florida…my question to the manager was that, if the color studio paper isn't Hallmark, why are the JC printing as a Hallmark reward???? I don't think he liked that I was making sense lol…I need to stick with CVS….

    • smpb

I'm a little disappointed I went to walgreens a little earlier was abble to: Buy(2) Hallmark Wrapping Paper, I used the -50/1 cupon paid $1.69 got $2.00 RR so went and got 6 20ct. tissue paper, used the $2.00 RR, paid .12 cents for tax but did not get 5 RR back, I only bought the tissue to receive the extra $5.00 and it did not work :(

      • Shon

Cant use the $2 RR you got from Hallmark to buy more Hallmark products and still get the $5 RR. You have to pay for them separately to receive both. I just got back from Walgreens and was able to do BOTH separately TWICE and received each RR. HTH

        • smpb

That's what I did but I still did not get the $5 RR, maybe next time! Thanks!

      • ym

I had something similar happen to me as well. The checkout person told me if I used a RR from the Revlon nail polish to buy more nail polish, I would not get the rewards. I chalked it up to a learning experience at Walgreens!

        • smpb

Thanks, same here it is a learning experience!

      • Carolyn

Hmm, yeah Same thing with me. I got the $2 RR from wrapping paper, but not the $5 for tissue. Oh well, I guess 2 rolls of paper and 6 tissue papers for $2 isn't tooooo bad. Maybe I'll go again and try it without using the $2 RR from paper on the tissue and see if it works.

      • SusanStauffer

You can't use the RR from the first deal to pay for the second. The RR is from the same company; that is why your second RR did not print.

    • Niroc24

Question? What if the $5 coupon doesn't print what should I do?

    • guest

Very disappointed when I went to get this today. She wasn't willing to enter the code or even try. I pointed out it was Hallmark paper and she said it was only a division of Hallmark – there is a reason she works there. I put the paper back and I think she was surprised.

    • Amy L

Awesome! For some reason my tissue paper rang up BOGO at the end .. so after the guy forced the 3 for $1 .. it took another .34 off! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS ONE!!

    • GC

Could not use the 50 cent coupon in Texas either. Cashier said the same thing about this being a Color Studio brand and not Hallmark. The Jingle cash for Hallmark printed though. Wasn't able to get any tissue paper though because the store was out and would not substitute another color.

      • Guest

This is exactly what happened to me, about both things (coupon not working, and tissue paper being out).

    • Nita Royal

I just went to try the tissue paper, since I actually needed it. However, my sale paper did not have the 3/$1 coupon. Wondering if the store papers vary by area. I'm in Rocky Mount, NC.

      • ah

I found the coupon on the Walgreens website. It allowed me to print it since my hubby had taken out the recycling along with my Walgreens ad.

      • Amymac78

I noticed that there were 3 different papers this week for Walgreens in my area. Last night I unhappily went to Walgreens on an emergency diaper run with my 2 very tired children and I figured I would try to spend 25 since I needed 2 packs of diapers anyway and didn't have time to coupon. So I bought some of the $.69 Macaroni and Cheese, then when I went to the register I couldn't find the ad anymore in either publication I picked up in the front. Then the cashier pulled out yet another ad with it in it. Overall I left very happy since I spent $17, using no coupons except the mac and cheese ad, and still got the $5 RR somehow.

    • L Sherrill

thanks for sharing jenny and for everything
this scenario did not work for me could not use the coupon i was told if it does not scan it will not work i did get the 2 rr so 2 rolls of paper free cant complain about that
however when i bought the 6 tissue it was only 2.00 i used the rr for the paper to pay for it so nothing out of pocket however i did not get the $5 RR which is the reason i was doing this plan anyway……. any suggestions on why this works for some and not for others? thank you for continuing to bless us all

      • Guest

You cannot use your RR from your wrapping paper twd your tissue paper. Since they are both “Hallmark”, or the additional RR will not print.

      • Jori

I think that the reason the second RR didn't print for you is because you used the first $2 RR. I think the deal must be linked in the computers since they are both Hallmark and your reward depends on the number of items you buy. HTH, but like I said I'm not positive.

    • April6

Well Well Well. I'm a 31 year old stay at home mom and every time I go “couponing” I always have that chill bump, excited, woohoo moment, Christmas day feeling opening up presents kinda experience. I bought 6 tissues. Paid and it printed 5 RR. Then bought 6 wrapping papers with coupons. Paid and it printed 5 RR. Then I bought 2 kelloggs cereal (coupon), 3 chapsticks, 2 hair colors. Altogether I paid 9.19 and saved 34.19!!! Thank you Jenny for all you do.

    • I bought 2 Hallmark Gift Wraps + 4 Hallmark Tissue Paper (was accidentally charged for 6 tho!) paid $3.24 w/ tax got back $5 Jingle Cash! :)

The coupon does beep but they should let you use it since the gift wrap even says “Hallmark” on it!

    • Srhinteriors

I went tonight to get the wrapping paper deal and when the register beeped the cashier said she couldn't take the coupon. I tried to explain to her that it is in fact a “division of hallmark” and she said well you can talk to the manager about that. Long story short they wouldn't take my coupon at the Rincon, GA store. Just an FYI for the other couponers in my area. Upsetting but still happy! Thank you Jenny for all your work and insight!

      • AR

Yeah, mine beeped too and they would not take it. They said that was their brand and the coupon says for Hallmark. I asked them where their logo was on the 1.99 wrapping paper because I clearly saw Hallmark on it. They still wouldn't take it. Couldn't argue too much when I knew I was getting it for free anyway.

        • Srhinteriors

My thoughts too. Bummer to not make profit but can't complain to get it for free! Maybe next time!

    • ciccolellajones

I went this afternoon and got 6 tissue papers, 2 rolls of wrapping paper, 2 Nivea after shave balm, 2 degree deodorants, playtex tampons and 2 carmex lip gloss for $27 and received $18 in JINGLE CASH which will enable me to get my daughter that crazy FUSHIGI ball (as seen on tv) for $2.

      • Amymac78

I noticed on my Jingle cash coupon from last night it said it could not be used with others. Not sure why, perhaps because it was one from the spend 25 get 5 deals.. double check your RR before you go to buy the toy.

    • Churst001

the cashier would not accept the coupon at the walgreens at University in Charlotte. She said it had to have the hallmark logo on the package.

    • Jennifer

I used this deal three times in Dunwoody, GA. It's an amazing deal!!

I bought the wrapping paper three times. I was able to use the $.50 coupon twice but not the third time. It all depends on your cashier.

Thanks so much for sharing this deal! It will truly help me this Christmas!

    • Amymac78

I am going 1st thing in the morning to take advantage of this deal. I wish I had seen it earlier, I need wrapping paper and plan to start wrapping tomorrow night and SundayI have 6 Walgreens within a 3 mile radius of my home, hopefully they won't all be out!

    • Veganpadua

Don't give up friends! I finally found a walgreens and more importantly a walgreens cashier! who not only was nice and pleasant but actually coupons herself. She even said southern savers was her fav besides I had a chance to mention it

    • Lzbacnik

I went to WAGS today and got both deals on the wrapping paper and tissue paper. I went back tonight and it no longer worked?? What's up with that? I wonder if WAGS has figured out we all are making a profit so they have discontinued the Hallmark rewards? Has anyone else run into this? I am happy with what I did get. Thanks Jenny

      • Crashx21

I went this morning to get 2 rolls of wrapping paper and got no Jingle Cash. :( Still a pretty good deal. I also got two Carmex Moisture Plus for $0.99! ($2.99, BOGO and 2x $1 off coupons)

    • Debra

Question, Can someone help me out? If I was to buy 6 rolls of wrapping paper would I get back $5 in register rewards? Walgreens is so confusing at times, thanks any help in advance.

    • steph_rnld

I went this morning and it is no longer printing the RR.

    • Mirandaallen215

Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal is 2/$5. I have a $3.00 manufacturer's coupon on any one Kashi product. Will I get both boxes of cereal for $2.00? Do they ring up seperatly as 2.50? New to coupons. Thanks :)

      • Mirandaallen215

I forgot to say the sale is at Walgreens.

    • Sst110483

I'd put a picture of my two rescue puppies. They give unconditional love to us every day.

    • JennyS.

Just bought the wrapping paper and it didn't print up the register rewards. A dollar a roll is still good though.

    • Graylady76

I went this AM also, and they are not printing the RR. I purchased 2 rolls of the paper, 6 tissue paper, and 16 gift sacks. I used coupons for all and totaled $5.79 (with 5% tax). Did not receive any RR, cashier even looked in the sale paper.

    • Luv2save

I went this morning and it seems that the Jingle cash is no longer printing for the wrapping paper and tissue. I've done this earlier this week and it worked without a glitch……This morning, though, no go! I was disappointed, but, not surprised.

    • Alisonjane1971

I got the register rewards yesterday for the tissue and the paper – not today. Manager said that the ad is clear that the Hallmark deal is for cards – apparantly corporate got wind yesterday that the RR were printing for the tissue and paper and put a stop to it – they were losing money. Fun while it lasted

    • Michelle

neither deal worked for me. i just got everything half off.

    • Nell

Just tried this at the Walgreens in Apex, NC and it didn't work. The manager said cards only for the RR.

    • Megan

The tissue paper deal and the wrapping paper deal was pulled this morning.

I was lucky and got plenty yesterday, what a MM trip!

    • Camlyphu

No Jingle Cash for 6 tissue papers :(.

    • Lisa

I was at Walgreens yest and checked the wrapping paper and tissue paper. And the only Hallmark stuff that was marked on sale for bogo was the cards. And knowing how wags can be sometimes, I decided not to try it. I really could've used it, but decided CVS will probably have a sale between now and Christmas so I'll just wait for theirs.

    • Coops995

the deal is not on tissue paper and wrapping paper it is on greeting cards I wished you would read the ads before you posted something to good to be true on the internet it is in the ad that if you purchase 2 or 6 hallmark greeting cards you get jingle cash not any hallmark product

      • Heartcoach33

I actually got both deals yesterday, so she was correct in her information. She also got the deals as explained in her post. I got 2 rolls of wrapping paper…paid $1.50 and got back $2. I then purchased six of the tissue paper with the coupon in the add. I paid $2.30 something, and I got back $5.00.

      • Jenncouponing

This worked just fine yesterday and apparently there was a glitch that Hallmark caught on to…don't think anyone posted trying to get your hopes up, but simply trying to help everyone out.

      • MelRae

For those of you who may be new to couponing and/or Walgreens, let me give you a tip: Unless the RR deal is in writing (like the weekly ad), you do these “unadvertised” deals at your own risk. I appreciate Jenny and other bloggers letting us know about these deals. But I also know that 5 minutes before I get to Walgreens, the deal may be pulled. Walgreens can be great one day, and frustrating the next. Heck, Walgreens can be great in the morning, and frustrating in the afternoon! LOL!

By the way, thanks to everyone for letting us know when the deal stopped working.

      • Paigejade

        It worked yesterday…

      • Cluken2001

WOW if you dont like how jenny post thinfgs then maybe you should figure out your own deals. Worked great for me yesterday. Thanks Jenny

      • Bradtke

it was working because it did for me yesterday but not today. Largo, FL

    • Kristina

This deal does NOT work in SE Virginia. :-( Tried 3 times at different stores.

    • Kb

hallmark must have stopped the RR from printing……didnt work on either wrapping paper or tissue paper. Also, my wags would NOT take the 50 cent q. Really what hapened was a very rude, young clerk rang me up for 2 wrapping papers and I gave her the 50 q. which she had to type in. Because I was expecting the RR to print we called one of the managers over and he said, it's no wehre in the ad to print. I really couldn't argue since this was something that just was happening. I had no proof. Anyways, during that time she relalized she had to type i nthe q and had the manager read it again and they decided that they couldnt take it. soooooooooo……
it took 10 minutes, yep, I timed it, 10 min for them to figure out how to give me all my $ back. not a super trip, though I still got some cheap wrapping paper and tissue paper……oh well.

This deal worked fine for me yesterday, I wish i had done more transactions while I was there! This morning I went to go work the revlon/hallmark but it didn't print any rr just like everyone else mentioned

    • Jacquetex

No $5 rewards for me here in Carrollton GA! Oh well…

    • GA Girl

Did not work in Ft Oglethorpe, GA. No jingle cash but still a good deal on 6 Hallmark tissues for $2.00.

    • Veganpadua

The employee told me that walgreens fixed the”mistake”

    • Jenny

My RR didn't print either and they gave me an extremely hard time about the $.50 coupon. Rite Aid and CVS for me from now on!!

    • jc

No register rewards printed for my purchase and they didn't give me the 50 cents. Said wrapping paper is a “division of Hallmark” not the true label.

      • Ally B

Same thing happened to me JC…oh well i needed Tissue paper and the wrapping paper was agood deal even though I didnt make any money off of it…oh well ya can't win em all right?

    • momof4

I did not have good luck on my trip. I tried the wrapping paper deal and the manager of the walgreens in Oakwood, GA would NOT accept the coupon. She said it was for all the “other Hallmark paper.” The RR didn't print for the paper so I tried the 6 hallmark tissue paper and it still wouldn't print. The manager came back and said it was only for hallmark cards purchased. Anyway, I returned it all and left. I was very disappointed because I can always use wrapping paper and tissue paper.

    • Amanda

I wish I had checked the site before I went. I just got back & not only did I not get the $5 for buying 6 tissue papers, the guy charged me wrong & I didn't notice until I got home! :-/ I was charged for 11, but then the coupon took off $7.22 which would be the discount for 11 (even thought there was supposedly a limit of 6) . . . but I only bought 6, so I was overcharged by $2. :-/

    • $avin'some$

i tried to day and sure enough- no longer working. i did it 5 times yesterday, though! thanks!

    • BrendaA.

Same scenario for me too….didn't get the RR for the wrapping paper and they wouldn't take my .50 coupon either.

    • tina

me too! i went today and did not get the RR. so frustrated. i RARELY shop at walgreens and now i am never shopping there. even if it a good deal it is so complicated to check out and the one near me is not at all friendly so i will stick to my cvs and rite aid (which gets better every week for me) and it will be okay.

      • Brandi

I totally agree with you. They wouldn't even take my coupon when I showed them twice that it said hallmark on the paper. I got no RR either. I left upset and plan as well to never return to walgreens again.

      • Ivy

I agree too. This deal did not work for me either. Not only did I not get the RR but they refused the coupons as well! Walgreens is far too complicated. I am not enjoying shopping there either. I prefer Publix.

    • Hasfam

I went friday and p/u'd white paper and got RR's just fine. Went sat and NO RR's, then discovered it might have been the way she rang them up. She rang one tissue then one coupon, then another tissue then the coupon again. Instead of all the tissue then the coupon. maybe this is why the RR didn't come out. I also spoke with a wags manager saturday night and she said that corporate had shut down all the registers for 15-20 minutes earlier in the day to readjust the jingle cash RR's so they wouldn't print out unless the amount was spent AFTER coupons.

      • Hasfam

I should clarify my post above. hallmark tissue paper ….buy 3 for a dollar and get 2 RR's work great friday. Not sat. i thought it was the way cashier rang it up. The conversation i had with manager was about the spend $25 get $5 RR. Apparently that is now only after coupons, what you actuall pay.

    • Candace

It worked for me Friday. I did this deal like 8 times. I then turned around and bought a lot of buy one get one free toys and I also got $15 jingle cash. It did not work Saturday, but I still saved a lot of money on Friday.

    • Melanieplynch

No luck with the $2 RR for two rolls of wrapping paper, but the cashier did push through the 50 cent coupon, so $1.50 for two rolls of wrapping paper isn't bad!

      • MK

Went Sat. and it didn't work! Even went to two walgreens locations. Was told the RR were only for greeting cards and they showed me the add and it did actually say in the add only for greeting cards. Guess our stores are more strict than others. Bummer. BUt still $1.50 for two rolls and $1 for 3 packs of paper isn't bad. Just wish I had gotten that extra $7 to use towads the BOGO diapers. : (

    • Samantha

The deal worked for me Friday. I bought the 6 of the tissue paper for $2. Got $5 jingle cash. Then I bought a 9.99 tea set, used the $4 in ad coupon and the $5 jingle cash. Ended up paying 99 cents for the tea set!! Awesome

    • busymom2

I went on Sat and they totally messed with me. It took them forever to adjust to get the register to work , then no jingle cash for the hallmark deals. We even did separate transactions. Then it would not even print the jingle cash for over $25 and the girl finally just somehow forced a $5 jingle cash. I really should have gotten $12 in rr, i figured out after i left with the stuff I bought. I am with Tina, waggs makes everything too darn complicated. Its not like you aren't going to use the cash in thier stores. They are just not worth it…..I can spend my money other places….
