    • Been waiting on this one!!

    • Zckirkland

I am not familiar with the mail in rebates. so, they print at the register and you mail them in with the receipt and they send you a check or credit for walgreens?

    • Pete Dellinger

What can you tell me about …coupons things by dede… Are they legitimate?

      • LD

I havent used her in a while but I used to use her a lot . She is legit

      • maryb

Great site use it all the time.

      • Fullouse

I absolutly love her! I've been ordering from her several times a month since very early this year. I've never had a problem, and for me, ordering through her is better than buying the local paper.

      • Smilesforlisa

DEDE is great.I use her all the time.

      • Debra

Coupon clippers is also a good coupon site.

      • guest

Very, very good. She has the best rates around and she has super fast shipping. She usually ships your coupons the same day you order them as long as your order is placed by mid-afternoon. Some of the other coupon clipping services take a day or two to ship them. I highly recommend Dede.

      • I use Dede to supplement the two or three papers I get each week. Priority shipping always results in me getting coupons, whether singles or whole inserts, within three days. Plus her handling fees are reasonable. I rarely use a clipping service besides Dede’s.

    • Sheila

Will Walgreens take a coupon that says “CVS pharmacy coupon” ($1/2 cheeto, tostido)

    • Julie B

Has anyone found the Secrets of Flavor booklet yet? I've checked a couple of Walgreens, but no luck so far… Any advice on where to look?

    • couponNERD

I am really digging the RR and Redbox codes wyb Dr Pepper!

      • Kelleyzoo

they wouldn't give me mine today. I bought $10 worth (2 Chex mix, Poppycock, Reeses Pieces, and 2 Dr. Pepper) and then I used coupons for the Chex Mix, of course. They said that it wouldn't give me the RR since the coupons made the subtotal less than $10. Only thing I can think is that the total was actually 9.99, but that usually still works at CVS. I was irritated and the cashier's attitude didn't help one bit.

    • LD

I do not know why but this product , Pill Glide Swallowing Spray, 1 oz., at $5.99 ea, just make me go huh ? lol what is it ? some wierd chemical thing or something we could all coat our throats in a lot cheaper if we only knew what to take ? lol just struck me as strange .

    • Bunch

How do you get multiple weekly newspaper coupons. I noticed that you say to use 4 (3.00 RP) and etc… Do you buy multiple papers?

      • Amy

I usually buy 2 or 4 papers, depending on the coupons that will be in the paper that week. Some people buy coupons from a clipping service. :)

    • Brooke99

on -$2 off Contac product RP 10/10 on coupon said on 4 pack that confuse Me .My store sell 24 count.

      • Rachel

I was confused by that too. I think the “4-pack only” wording applies to the Massengill. We'll see when we go shopping, huh?

    • Christinescoupon

do in ad coupons count as a coupon when you are trying to make coupons and items equal in order to pay?

      • MarySC1000

        No… no store coupons count.

        • Christinescoupon

          Thank you!

        • guest

The in-ad coupons don't count but the Instant Value Coupons (Wags coupon books) do count. I learned that the hard way a couple of weeks ago.

    • MarySC1000

??? Has anyone gotten a Crayola rebate check yet? It's been more than 8 weeks for sure.

      • still waiting for mine……

      • Grandmasaves

        still waitning for mine also.

      • Bethany

        I haven't either!

      • Firstbrownie

Just got off the phone with them…..mailed mine 8/7; she said the rebate had been approved and waiting to be printed off; i should get the rebate in the mail in the next 30 days.

    • Clara

ok, after going to a couponing class last week, i am ready to start saving. i am a little confused with the RR thing. i really want to go tomorrow and get my diapers for only $.09. what do i need to do other than cliping my coupon? do i need a special card from walgreens or something? What is RR?

      • SavNKy

RR are coupons that print after you pay for your item to be used off your next purchase.

        • SavNKy

Walgreens does not use a card

      • Kathy

The first time I tried it, I had a very helpful cashier. Sometimes they will even give me a coupon if I don't have one. If you don't go to Walgreen often, just make sure to follow the transactions as Jenny has listed them. They don't have a card, but you can't use the RR's to pay for the same item again. You can use it to pay for another item that will give you more RRs. Look at the Walgreen's getting started guide before you go.

      • blessedinsc

When I was new to couponing, I would make my list according to the list recorded above and become very frustrated when I'd get in there and for one reason or another, it didn't work out after investing lots of time and energy into the plan. If they are out of an item or the price is different or the cashier wouldn't take a certain coupon or whatever, it threw me all off. Since you are new, I just wanted to warn you that though the ideas are good and helpful, it may not work out as planned. This might save you a little frustration. God bless you as you serve your family!

    • Has anyone else tried to use the $4/1 intuition coupon from “liking” the facebook page? I tried around a month ago and my Walgreen's wouldn't accept it. The cashier said they do not accept some higher value internet coupons. Wondering if anyone else has come across this.

    • Wrightktnc

where and what do you find for filler items that are 10 cents. Thanks for all you do.

      • Caritob40

this month I have been getting the Halloween cups, they are $.39cents, but with the coupon on the ad you end up paying $.10 or $.11 cents something like that..i hope that helps :)

      • wendyc33

there is usually stuff in the school supplie area, like pencils or erasers. they used to have these small highlighters that are real cheap too.

      • macboy

Yep. School supplies are the place to go. I need to use a $3/$30 coupon at Publix, and I got a $0.69 notepad to get me up to $30. At Wags, they usually have those Big Roll toilet paper singles for $0.50.

    • meme

I always have trouble finding a coupon from Facebook. This time it is the Schick coupon. I “liked”, I posted a comment, looked all over the page. I just can't see where the coupon is available. Could someone guide me on this one? Thanks millions! Meme

    • DumbBunny

Help! Where can I find the 'Secrets of Flavor booklet'?

    • Susan in TN

Dede is good but I have a lady who is great to deal with and actually taught DeDe what she knows. couponsandforms.com

      • Raquelw W

what are you talking about, this ladys name is Jenny; who is dede?

    • Robin

has everyone else found that Walgreens is almost IMPOSSIBLE to use when it comes to using coupons? It's not just one store. We have used 4 different stores and it has been a horrible experience for us every time. We are ready to give up on them. Is it safe to say that Walgreens is not coupon friendly? Or is that something that is happening only in our area?

      • Jason

I feel that I need some serious meditation before and after going to Walgreens. That's why I only shop there for great deals that I actually need. I can't count how many times I had problems using coupons in there. Even though I plan what I buy and follow Walgreens coupon policy to the letter, I still run into some cashiers and sometimes manager who behaves oblivious to their own store policy. Although I have dealt with some cashiers who just gives me such bad attitude whenever I use coupons, I still feel that most of them just lacks proper training and thus I place most of the blame on their managers and corporate. Is it to much to ask for Walgreens to make sure that their employees are aware of their own coupon policy. Granted Walgreens did not released an official coupon policy until 3 or 4 months ago, I mean seriously how hard could it be to grasp when its only 1 or 2 pages long. It is the least we could ask from them, when all of us customers takes all this time and effort to adhere to their rules and provide our business to them.

        • Becky

Wow…I feel very fortunate to have such great Walgreens in my area. There are several that I visit but mostly I use the one right down the street from my house. There are several cashiers and even a manager who know me now and look forward to seeing what I'll buy and how much I save each time. They are so helpful and even if something doesn't ring up right or a coupon doesn't scan right, they are open to making it work. The other day, another customer was having a horrible attitude towards the cashier when her coupon transaction wasn't ringing up as she thought it should, and the cashier actually asked for my opinion on how to make it work! LOL Anyway, kudos to my Mandarin area Walgreens in Jacksonville Florida!

    • Susan in TN

I know that our Walgreens in Knoxville are getting very cranky. I know for a fact that some Walgreens in Texas have a great District Manager who is purchasing the coupons to give away in his stores to entice his customers to come in. What our managers around here don't seem to understand it helps their numbers. This particular managers says it's money in the bank for him and helps his numbers. I wish ours would understand that we can help them not hurt them.

    • Susan

I know that the Wags in Knoxville are getting very cranky. It's like they think it is coming out of their own pockets. I know for a fact that there is a district manager in Texas that is actually ordering coupons to give away in his stores to help entice shoppers to come to his stores. He says it is like money in the bank. He actually gets that we can help not hurt. It helps him because they get incentives when they have great numbers.

      • Ariel

The one on Nothshore at Pellissippi can be a pain to deal with! There is 1 sweet older lady that works the cosmetics counter. She is very sweet and easy to deal with when using coupons. If I see her, I check out at her counter!

      • Patricia

I live in SC. I have learned to take a copy of their coupon policy with me. They have to do what the policy says. They can can fuss but you have the policy on your side. Let them fuss.

        • kaseyshadow

what part of SC? I live in the lexington area and have found the WAGS on Emmauel church road is super coupon friendly and the one on 6 is too. Glad I have nice WAGS.

        • Kellycdljobs

where do you get a copy of the walgreens policy?

    • Mcleodsc

Did anyone get their 5.99 Depend rebate from Sept.? I got a post card denying mine because I did not include the register reciept.

      • Lucy

In the small print of the rebate form, it required you to send in a copy of your receipt: “The original rebate form and a copy of the receipt must accompany your rebate request.”

    • Nichols_again

Has anyone been to Walgreens to use the Alka Seltzer 3.00 coupon. I'm not sure if the fast packs are included.

    • Theherbie17

Did anyone iin the pensacola area get their alkaseltzer coupons? I got the NWF Daily news and the Pensacola news Journal… I didn't see it in there :(

    • Nichols_again

These are great deals but be advised that the tax is not included on the “total due” amount. I have been wondering why my totals never matched and I finally put two and two together today. I am new to the couponing world.

    • LBTN

Could someone please tell me that it IS ok to use an in ad coupon with a Nov Wags book coupon, and a manufacturer coupon? I have done it before but the girl would not take my manufacturer's coupons today. She said you can never use an in ad and store coupon with a manufacturer's.She even was so rude as to tell me that I was just trying to get something for nothing, when my total was still over $20! I am soooo fed up with the rudeness from Wag's cashiers.

      • G8rleslie

Did you read the fine print in the Nov Wags book? The q may state that it is a manufacturer coupon.

      • Missy

I have started calling the Customer Relations (while standing in line) I let the CR person talk to the mgr over the speaker phone! You'd be amazed at how much nicer the cashier/mgr become when they are on the spot! I too am SICK of being told I want something for nothing….why sure I do…and I want you to bag it up with a smile on your face while we are at it! :)

        • Connie

Missy!! THAT IS BRILLIANT!!! Now to find the CR phone number…..

      • Bamabobbie

Yes you can use the mfg coupon first and then the in ad coupon or Wag Nov coupon book last. Don't know if I have ever tried an in ad coupon and a Wags coupon booklet on the same item. She was wrong to tell you that you could not use a mfg coupon with a store coupon. I think I'm going to use all my RR's and just quit shopping there because it's such a hassle.

      • macboy

I got last week's Benefiber deal with a store and Manu coupon.

      • Heather

Yes, you can use a manuf coupon & a store coupon. I do it all the time.

    • Clwvining

I have always enjoyed Walgreens in the past. Recently I have had nothing but unhelpful employees at our stores in Al. Last Sunday their ad came out and it had a $5.00 off coupon on halloween costumes. All the halloween costumes were 50% off and they refused to allow me to use their coupon, I could have one or the other not both. I chose nothing. Attitude is so very important. Who is going to pay them if we buy nothing.

      • Heather

I asked a manager about this on Sat before I even looked at the costumes. She said if the reg price is $14.99 or above, take 50% off and then $5 off. I got a cute ladybug costume for $2.49!

      • Blink_11

That's totally ridiculous! Who ever heard of not accepting your own store coupons?!

    • Kellycdljobs

Not sure where you are in Alabama but I am in Oxford and I am having the same problems with WAGS! they are AWFUL and the scenarios never match up for me. I kept trying to figure out why and then finally I realized that the store would take my coupons but only use ONE or the OTHER, NOT BOTH! They also told me that if I used a coupon on any item (manufactorer or store) the RR would not print out!! The manager saw me shopping, looked at my coupons and rolled his eyes, huffed like a 2 year old and stormed down the isle. I couldnt believe it!! No, thank you for your business, can I help you find something? NOTHING but attitude so….I left the buggy full of items and promptly left the store and headed right across the street to CVS…their deals were not as good but their attitudes were much better and sometimes, it is worth paying a little more to be appreciated! If anyone knows the WALGREEN'S policy, please let me know because I have been told by THREE stores here, it is “against federal law for them to take 2 coupons on one item!”

      • kaseyshadow

The policy should be posted on Jenny's site.

      • Bamasaver

I am also in Oxford, AL, but haven't run into the problems you've mentioned. I haven't been shopping Walgreens for long (only a couple of months), but have not run into problems using more than one Q on an item yet. Only problems I've encountered are items not ringing up at correct sale price & if Q value is more than the price. Maybe I just happen to go in there when the “friendlier/more helpful employees are on duty”–I always try to make sure my # of items vs. number of Qs is correct before I check-out. I find Walgreens to be more difficult to deal with because of all the “rules”–have to watch everything very closely–but haven't experienced the rudeness yet.

      • Blink_11

Well, I guess Publix, CVS & Target all violate federal law, lol. They don't know what they're talkng about, surprise surprise….

    • Guest

If I buy 2 pks of Huggies, can I use (2) mfr. q's if one says $3/2 and one says $1/1? Thanks!

      • No, the $3/2 would attach to both packs.

    • Kelleyzoo

I mentioned this as a comment to someone lower down, but I tried to get the 3RR and 2 redbox rentals for purchasing $10 of Chex, etc. it did not print them out and the only reason I can think of is that my total before adding tax or subtracting coupons was 9.99. The cashiers said that it was because I used coupons, which is crap IMO! Is this right?

      • Mlsshartz

No she is not right. I did that deal a week or so ago. It's a month long deal. I used coupons for the chex mix and mine printed just fine.

    • Mcleodsc

My order was 5.99 before tax and I tried to use a 6. RR. Register beeped and cashier would not accept it. I asked if she could reduce the value of the RR down to 5.99. She said no, that she was not allowed to do that. So I added a candy bar to bring it over 6. before taxes. Could she have reduced the RR down one cent? I know CVS can reduce ECB's down a couple of cent.

      • Bamabobbie

I have found Wags will not adjust anything down.

        • Mominsc

Policy states they must adjust it down.

          • Nona

i said that last night to the cashier (about adjusting the coupon down) she out right refused and was like, “here is your coupon back. if it beeps we dont take it. period!”

        • Aunttt28

at my walgreens in aberdeen nc we do adjust the coupon. if happens ask to speak to a mgr.

          • Kindra

That happened to me as well here in FL. The cashier said that she wasnt allowed to adjust down the value of a coupon. I asked her to get the mgr who also said the same thing. Of course that would be the one day I wounldnt have the coupon policy with me. Ugh! I just shook my head and completed the transaction minus the items they wouldnt adjust down the coupon for. Wags is such a challenge every time I go in there. Why are the mgrs so obtuse to their own coupon policy?

        • macboy

I missed out on the Nivea deal last week because of this cr*p.

    • Klane08

No Alka Seltzer in the AJC :( I was hoping for this one so I could get a better deal on diapers! I really don't get why Atlanta misses out on coupons sometimes… it's a larger area than some other cities around us!

      • Dianne

It wasn't in the Evening Edge RP, but it was in the weekend AJCs. If you name the cover as page one, it will be on page 11. At least it was in mine! Hope you find it.

    • Mominsc

Ive read comments before about coupon problems at walgreens. Here is what I was told today. I had two transactions…the first was purchasing the colgate with RR of 3.49. The second was purchasing Advil. I had the RR from trans #1, a $1 off Manu coupon, and the $4 off walgreens in ad coupon. The cashier scanned the RR first, followed by the I. Ad coupon. The Manu coupon wouldn't scan, and I was told it's because I had more coupons than items. Is that right? I thought I would be ok using all because they were all different types of coupons.

      Your thoughts?

      • Mominsc

I just read the coupon policy at walgreens. Now I know why they didn't take the Manu coupon….live and learn.

      • Shon

Yes. The RR & Manu Q both count toward the # of items, therefore if you'd gotten a “filler” item (i.e. piece of $ 0.30 candy), then you would have had 2 items to go with the 2 Manu Q

      • ameetoo

The system will not let you use more coupons then items…one of our Walgreen's cashiers said that when this happens just buy a filler item…a pack of gum or one of the candy things they are usually offering and then you can use your coupons. Hope this made sense.

    • Rdreysen

The Alka Seltzer Plus Fast Powder is included in the deal!

    • alyw

Finesse is on sale for $1.99 and there is $1.50 off coupon in 10/24 SS! .49 cents not bad for finesse! Just thought I would share.

    • Abrooke8

Diet Dr. Pepper 2 liters in Gulfport, MS on Pass Road have $.25 peelies on them. 2 liters for $.75 each. WOOT!

      • Tyfondren28

did they have any on regular dr pepper? I haven't forced myself to make the switch yet….haha.

    • Dana

Was anyone able to print the Contact coupon? For me it said my print limit had been reached but I have never printed a Contact coupon before.

      • Jen

        same thing happened to me

      • Robin

Dana, when that happens that means the print run has reached it's limit. The manufacturer allows only so many prints. Once that is reached you will get that message even though you didn't actually do the printing. Hope this helps.

    • candice

Hey I thought you guys would like to know this past week at walmart I saw that the Lysol no-touch hand dispencer retail's for 6.99!! That looked like their regular price so with the $3.00 off starter kit it's 3.99 :)

    • Got some great deals at Walgreens today! Spent $4.99 (plus tax) for 4 items, Huggies diapers included. See the link below for the items I purchased:

      http://www.homemakingmom.com

      Thanks!

    • Lsum

Can I use a RR towards the purchase of an item for a MIR and still get the full MIR amount back and not less the RR?

      • Mcleodsc

It depends on the company. I have gotten back the full price on occassion, or the price with the coupon deducted, or 23 cents when the Register rewards were deducted. I have also gotten replys that since I did not pay anything-after coupons and register rewards -I would not recieve the rebate.

Always keep a copy of the rebate form, register rcpt, and upc.

    • Robin

My thoughts about Walgreen are more toward the fact that the employees are rude and do not even try to accomodate you. They act as if you are trying to take money from them. I was told this weekend by a manager that I could no use a coupon AND get RR. When I tried to explain that this was not so she informed me that she had been working there for 7 years and that she knew what she was talking about. Another time we were told by a manager that we were NOT going to tie up their lines by making multiple transactions. I have never experienced that sort of rudeness at CVS or Rite Aide. That is what leads me to believe that Walgreens is just not interested in coupon shoppers.

      • Mlsshartz

It is such ashame to hear that from so many different people. My Walgreens in Walterboro, SC is fantastic. I try to go to the cosmetic counter when I am doing more then one transaction. It just makes it easier on me to not feel rushed. I use coupons ALL the time and always get my RR's. The managers and staff at that location are A+.

        • Couponj

I've gone to photo to pay as well for the same reason!

      • macboy

As far as the multiple transactions thing are a concern, it may be best to go to the back of the line as a courtesy if there are other people waiting.

        • Robin

That is where my problem really lies. There was NOONE in line. I am always considerate of other shoppers. If someone is in line I always let them go ahead of me. It's just their policy to be rude best I can tell…it would be different if we had not tried four different walgreens thinking this had to be some sort of fluke. Not the case. They are obviously told not to oblige coupon shoppers at thier little meetings.

          • I go to my Wags in Three Fountains and love them.!! They are always so helpful and I do many trans. too! Even some of the young men get in on it! Maybe its the area you shop. Come on over and visit my store anyday , Ms. Julia will take good care of you!

          • SC Susie

Find another Walgreens – it's worth your time!

      • Blink_11

I think it just depends on the store, the manager at my Walgreen's is very nice. However, I drive past one CVS to go to another because the manager at the one closer is incredibly rude.

    • Foster

I just left a pack of Huggies diapers on the counter at Walgreen's in Athens. They wouldn't let me use a $1.50 manufacturers coupon and a $5 RR from last week. The cashier said the computer wouldn't let her take two manufacturer's coupons. So I told them that was fine, they could keep them. I wasn't rude about it, but once that $5 RR is spent, I probably won't be back in Walgreen's for a long time. I thought RR were like a form of payment – like I was paying with a $5 bill, but apparently not. When I left Walgreen's, I ran to CVS and got some really good deals.

      • Mlsshartz

The cashier was right on this one. RR's are a manufacturers coupon. You would have needed a filler item to be able to use it. Jenny always post filler items that would be good to use. I found little halloween bags for 29 cents to use as fillers yesterday.

    • Mrg1205

Contac coupon said it was no longer available..booo

    • danica

does the Intuition RR include the refills or just the razor?

    • Ledbyhim

Just tried to print the contac Q and it also said there were no more coupons available but only AFTER I had given them my contact information. I think I'll call them and see what they say. I'll let you know.

      • Macouncil

Yes, same problem here. I was able to print the others I wanted yesterday and tried to print just the Contac one today with no luck. Let me know if you figure it out!

      • Macouncil

Nevermind…some other posts here explained that only a limited number can be printed from the internet, a number set by the manufacturer…so I guess it has been reached! Oh well, better luck next time.

    • Molly Bridges

My walgreens register beeps and will not accept a coupon that puts and ITEM into overage. not even the whole receipt. :/

      • macboy

They are supposed to adjust the value of the coupon DOWN according to their coupon policy. Will they do it? You never know…

    • Toni

I am pretty new to couponing but so far I have already bought $83.00 worth of items for $23.00. I am so excited about this. I am just a little confused about the filler item use. Can anyone tell me why we need to use filler items or how they work??

      • macboy

The number of coupons must not be greater than the number of items in your transaction. Furthermore, the total value of your coupons must not exceed the value of your transaction.

        Example:

You have 1 store coupon for Tylenol and 1 manufacturer coupon for Tylenol. If all you plan to buy is 1 bottle of Tylenol, you won't be able to use both coupons. Therefore, you need to buy some super cheap item (that you will hopefully need) to meet the coupon policy.

    • Mrg1205

With the Huggies diapers … does anyone know if the pure and natural ones are included? If so I have a coupon I printed off about two weeks ago for $3 off that doesn't expire until the 30th… so that would be a great buy for $3.99!!!

      • Tiff715

usually not because those diapers cost more then the little movers

    • Dianne

Did anyone find the Contac coupon listed above in RP 10/10?

      • Not in Greenville News or Charlotte Observer.

        • It doesn't just say Contac on the newspaper insert coupon. It says a whole bunch of medicines, one of which is Contac. So if you're looking just for a picture of Contac, you won't find it. It's a picture of a grouping of products, one of which is the Contac. I hope this helps.

          • Oh, no! I have that coupon and did not realize that Contact was included! I even had it in my book when I was at Wags yesterday. Oh, well! Can't win 'em all. I got a great deal on the king-sized candy bars, though. Thanks for the info. The coupon does not expire until 12/31, so maybe the deal will come around again. Although ….that coupon would have made me almost break even there.

          • Dianne

Yahoo!!Thanks, Beth! I finally found it with your help! :)

          • Mrg1205

Which other medicines are included do you remember?

    • Melissa

Went to my Walgreens (Dalton, GA) tonight and brought 4 packs of M&M's ($3.49 each…I know expensive but had to have them for treat bags :-)) I used $ 3.49 RR from Toothpaste and $1RR from Candy Corn and it printed me a $5RR. Anyone know why, but no complaining!!!

    • Outta Control

This is a great week! I started the week with 16 RR and now have 31.50 in RR! I have probably spent about $2.00 OOPI now have plenty of toothpaste, alka seltzer, contact, and a few airwick candles. Woot Woot!!!

    • Great deal on Mar's king-size candy bars! Buy 4 bars, use in-ad coupon to make them $1 each, then use “99¢ off 3” coupon from November coupon book, took off 1.32 for me, then use two BOGO coupons from RP 9/26. I paid 68¢ for 4 king-size candy bars!

    • Agh092362

Walgreens has an in-add coupon for Mentos gum for .99. I have serveral manufactor coupons for $1.00 off Mentos gum. Do I need to use an in-add coupon and a manufactor coupon for each pack of Mentos? Or can I buy 10 Mentos, use 1 in-add coupon and 10 manufactors coupons? Then, is the register going to beep because the Mentos are .99 and the coupon is for $1.00 off? What's the best way to use my Mentos coupons?

      • The in-ad coupon has a limit of 3. You will only have to use one of them to buy 3. If I were you, I would buy a cheap filler item to be sure not to go negative. The register will probably beep, but they can push it through. Depending on your cashier, you may be allowed to do separate transactions. Or, you could try using your $1 coupons before the in-ad. That way, they shouldn't beep, but you'll probably still need a small filler item.

        • Agh092362

          thanks for the info!

      • Dianne

It will be easier and less stressful if you just go ahead and buy a small filler item.

    • Sjbartoncoupons

My Hall's coupon in the November All You mag is for $1 off of two bags (20 ct or larger). The Q in the October All You mag is for .75 off. I've not seen one for $1 off of one… Does anyone have the page number? Maybe I'm just not seeing it?

      • Dianne

Mine are the same as yours.

    • Carolinagirl

I am quit shocked at how many people hate walgreens. they are such a wonderful company. I should know because i have worked for them for almost five years. I work in a store in the upperstate area in South Carolina where i am the senior beauty advisor. I love my job and my customers. Some of my favorite customers are coupon shoppers(some are even my friends on facebook). I love watching them save money and I have even picked up on couponing. I try to help them out with filler items and make sure i have some at my register. They all know to come to cosmetics when they are ready to checkout. Im sorry some of you have had bad experiences but we really are a good company. I bet you didn't even know that we get commission on certain items. Sometimes i do get frustrated with coupon shoppers especially the ones that want to argue that they are right but they aren't. I hope you guys reconsider walgreens because not all walgreens are the same(employee wise). I think a lot of there problem is is that they are afraid they are gonna do something wrong and then get yelled at by the customer. Ive had coupon customers make me cry before bc they are so mean. Is that really how you want to make someone feel? I know i don't. Happy couponing!

      • SC Susie

I agree totally. I live in Spartanburg, SC and we have fantastic stores with employees that have been with the company for years. They are always helpful and courteous and, the key, is to reciprocate that attitude as a couponer. I have witnessed myself the ugly side of those trying to “steal a deal” (literally) and it makes for a bad situation for all of us – couponers and store associates.

        • Mcleodsc

I think alot of the problems couponers encounter occur when the cashier and /or manager makes up policies that are not Walgreens corporate coupon policy. Then these rules can change from day to day or cashier to cashier. Most couponers WANT to follow the rules because we do not want any hassles while couponing. I KNOW more about Walgreens than the cashiers at 2 of our 3 stores. It is sad that they have not been trained properly in coupon usage, how the register rewards works, and what to look for to spot a fraudulent coupon. I recently had a problem and talked to a supervisor at Walgreens customer service phone number. I mentioned needing the number for the catalina company which handles the register rewards. She insisted there was NO SUCH THING -she had never heard of the catalina company. I thanked her and hung up, googled the phone number and called them to clarify a situation. Now why would a SUPERVISOR not know how the register rewards work and the phone number for the catalina company that manages the register rewards?

        • I shop at a store in Spartanburg, and the people I have encountered there are great! I even saw a lady (customer) in there the other day with a Southern Savers Shopping list. I was a little disappointed that they did not have any of the Alka Seltzer Powder, but, oh well. The only problem I have ever had was when a cashier would not allow me to purchase but one tube of toothpaste, in separate transactions, that was giving RRs. I did not argue.

          • Agh092362

My Walgreens had the “crystals” not the powders. I asked the cashier to see if that would ring up the sale price then see if my $3.00 off powders coupon would work and she tried it for me and it worked. So I bought 3 Alka Seltzer fast acting crytals, use (3) $3.00 off Alka Seltzer fast acting powders coupons and it all worked and I got the RR listed in the deal above.

            • My store just had 1 box of crystals and they were 3.99. If they had had 3, I would have bought them.

      • Agh092362

I have found the Walgreens in Rossville, Ga is very helpful and coupon friendly if you get the right person. There's an older dark haired lady that works in the morning time that is very helpful and will offer suggestions to get your coupon and RR to work. Also, the managers at that store are friendly and helpful. She even took the time one morning to help me figure out why I didn't get RR I was expecting. (I didn't know if you bought two of an item, you would only get one RR for that item). The Fort Oglethorpe, GA store is not bad either. There's a young guy that works in morning that tries to help as much as he can as far as finding a particular item that's in the add.

      • Pat

I think it would be great if we could clone you and then we could put an end to some of the frustration that some of us endure. I do beleive that each store can be different and can impose a challenge for some. Thanks for being a delightful salesperson. Wish they were all like you. Sure would like to know what items you get commission on.Please share the info.

      • Mdobbs12004

well i feel that the employees should be required to know the coupon policy because everytime i go in to walgreens it is a headache and the cashier or the mgr. wants to give me a hard time about my coupons and if it were not for the coupons and the register rewards then i wouldnt shop at walgreens! and when i pol;itely told the mgr that she was wrong that she should read over their coupon policy then she rolled her eyes at me! and then she adjusted the coupon angrily! and told me that i was agrevating her! so you tell me how that is for customer service!

      • Guest

They have no customer service or how to treat customer and their employee :) Company got too big too fast and Wags got very greedy. I will never shop at a Wags and have not in 3 years now and counting. Used to do all the deals there too.

      • macboy

It's just like Winn-Dixie. The stores get a bad rap “especially from couponers,” but there are some gems out there. In Florida, Winn-Dixie is seen as a dump compared to Publix, but my W/D is actually quite good.

      • Kathy380

I have to agree, i have several walgreens in my area and all have been veery coutious to me,using my coupons, have never had a problem outside of one time, when i twas my fault, i forgot that you cannot get reward bucks on items of the same thing when you use rewards to help pay for a transaction, but they were still nice about it when they advised me i could not do that, so thus far, i have no complaints against Walgreens here in Cleveland, Tn

        • guest

The best one that I have found is on 25th and Ocoee.

    • Bobgailwade

I was just at Walgreens and the manager said there is a new corprate policy that you can not use two coupons on the same two items ie I was buying 2 Purex and had two $3 coupons(from the newspaper) to get the register reward and they would only allow one coupon. I told him I thought that was illegal because I was buying the two items. He said I would need to walk out of the store and come back to buy the second Purex and use the 2nd coupon. I was so upset I walked out of the store without buying a thing. My buggy was full.

That makes no sense at all. If they were so worried about keeping track of everything, they would issue a card like CVS. I am about to just give up on Walgreen's. They seem to have horrible customer service! I went to my Walgreen's the other day because they forgot to ring up a store coupon for the Bufferin last week that would have made it free with the manu q. (My husband went and bought it, I would have said something if I noticed they didn't ring up a coupon that I knew I could use) Well I spoke to the assistant manager and she told me that she had to check the camera to make sure that he tried to use the coupon. I felt like she was trying to say that I was trying to steal $3! The woman behind me looked at her like she was crazy and said that she was so rude. Anyways, she checked and of course gave me my money back because I was telling the truth. They need to train their employees better or I can guarantee they won't be in business for much longer.

      • Couponsrus267

Always, always, always I can't stress this enough…. Bring the coupon policy and show the manager – then – Call the corporate office and complain. 1 800 WALGREENS #4 is customer service. They will call the store and let them know the coupon policy. I always get a formal apology and sometimes a gift card for the inconvience. I do this so that I and everyone else can go into the store and not get harrassed, embarrassed or upset. I used to walk out of stores mad, go to the one about 2 miles away and find that not only can I use my Q's but they are friendly. I used to avoid certain stores to avoid the conflict – now I say BRING IT ON! If we all take the time to call corporate and fix the problem we will help ourselves and everyone else after us.

      ORLANDO:

There are Walgreens coupons on the front of Wednesday's Orlando Sentinel. It looks like duplicates of what is in the ad, but I guess it doesn't hurt to have more than one. This includes the $5 off Halloween Costume coupon.

      • macboy

Actually, the ad says “Prices valid from 10/27-10/30” so there may be some new deals.

        • Bamasaver

I got an e-mail last night about an additional 4-day sale (dates you've cited) but didn't check the items against current ad–I think these are added deals.

      • Mz 10deroni

I see the walgreens coupons!! Thanks macboy. There are a few new deals. 1.99 24pk of water!!

    • Brandiebudd

Have to brag about my walgreens in Little Elm Tx. They are so helpful and being that I'm new to couponing, it's awesome! I went to day and did the trasactions posted and I had 2.60 RR, so my out of pocket was only a little over $3. Awesome deal since it is cold and flu season.:)

      • Brooke

Which Walgreen's?? I pass the one on Main Street out in the middle of nowhere that is right next to the Starbucks when I go to visit my dad. Small world. I have never seen anyone on here that lives so close to where I live!

    • Jaci

I am new to the coupon thing. The walgreens in Lagrange has been the worse. They act like it kills them that I am using coupons. I tried to use the crest coupons and this is what i was told-The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register RewardsTM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.

I will never and I repeat never step back into our walgreens again.

      • jessc5

Never had any issues with Walgreens, because I know their “rules” and what to expect. It is true that you MUST have the same number of items per coupons/RR's (# of items to purchase = the # of coupons + # of RR's). This is why you would need to use a FILLER item. Just grab a cheap item (like 20 cent jello) and you are good to go! Not hard, but you do have to follow their rules!

        • cherubs4us

Not exactly. I was .25 away from the amount of my RR's and said that I would purchase a .59 candy bar. She rang it up and said you'll need to get another one. This went on until i got to the 3rd candy bar. I finally said that I really didnt need these candy bars and decided to get a $1.99 pack of water. It finally went through. They are really trying to discourage couponing.

      • cherubs4us

It is exactly the same thing here in Birmingham, Alabama. Every Walgreens that I go to says exactly the same thing as yours and NONE of them are welcoming. They even went as far as to discourage me from getting a raincheck because the checkout girl had just been too busy with customers before I had arrived. I stayed away from them from August until yesterday when I was determined to get a couple of products for a very good price that matched up with coupons. I promised myself that this was the last time for them. They pulled out this mess again with me at both stores that I shopped at (yesterday). I made a point of being extremely nice and repeating to them the rules they were telling me and that this was discouraging and confusing. The Walgreens system doesnt appear to be at all welcoming to couponing. They even give “rolling eyes” looks when I enter with my binder. This is probably more of a picture of corporate stability and training. I did get great deals yesterday, but I literally only bought up to 4 items per transaction, watched how they rang it up and split up my shopping between stores so that I wouldn't “burden” them. Good luck to you and hope this helps.

        • Mzlinzy

I too live in metro Birmingham area and experience the SAME THING. RRs don't always print, say the register tells them they cannot accept this coupon or that, even when plainly it is the correct item, does not exceed the price, etc…have to ask for rainchecks and then WAIT and wait for it..and heaven forbid you walk out then find the problem-once out the door you are on your own! They are just as difficult to deal with in the pharmacy. File things wrong on insurance, short you, and have even on FOUR different visits provided the WRONG prescription in MY correctly labeled bag. And when you point it out, they are RUDE. Not going back for meds-too dangerous! Otherwise, I like rising to challenges! BRING IT ON!

    • Cevans3075

Where are you that the purex is on sale? At my store in Griffin Ga it's not on sale and no register rewards!! Help!! Am i missing something?

      • Kelleyzoo

check your sales flyer. If it is in the flyer and not marked on the shelf, they still honor it. I'm in TN and it's on sale here. I loaded up for my animal shelter.

      • Rjfranklin

my store did not have the signs up but the sale was on the second or third page and it rang up correctly for me and I got the reward. and i paid with rr from contac purchase walgreens is a little tricky and sometimes the employees are not the friendliest but sometimes the deals a good enough to put up with a little crap lol

    • Baje8482

I tried to do the get $5 RR when you purchase $20 worth of items (coke and oreos) today. Because I used RR's from previous orders to bring my total down and it ended up under $20 I did't get my $5 RR. When I asked the manager why I didn't get them I was told that it was because my coupons brought my order below $20. I don't go into Walgreens often, but did this week for diapers. I will never do it again.

    • destiny

for the past 2 weeks I was able to use my rr's at my publix. well today I went and said they do not except them. I am a bit annoyed because I think Publix should be consistent w/ their coupon policy. not one week yas and then one week no.

      • macboy

Most Publix's are limited their “competitors” in this case to actual grocery stores. They are not taking the Walmart approach (which is “everyone is the enemy”).

        • Mom26inFl

At my publix they said the same thing, but in the same transaction took my Walgreens Caprisun coupon off. Also it really depends on the cashier, its like that in all the stores. I look for new employees or go at night when the teenagers work. I have a girl at my Walmart that takes any that the register lets her. I scan the cashiers out as soon as I walk in….

    • destiny

my problem w/ my walgreens was when I finished the sale and expected the rr's and they did not come manager said walgreens changed their policy and if I pay w/ rr's I can not get rr's any longer.ok so I had to void out the whole transaction and start again.

    • Tap

I manage a Walgreens myself! The best way to use the register rewards is on other items that don't give register rewards. We were told at one point that if you used a register reward from that same company for instance p/g they would not give you another, but that doesn't always stand true. If you seperate your orders and save all your register rewards you will still save the same amount or come out better usually! Sorry such a pain, hope this helps!

      • Brooke

Walgreen's is simply not coupon friendly when it comes to using coupons. I have noticed this from state to state. It's not the employees, it's the company itself.

      • Mcleodsc

The BEST way to use Register Rewards are on products from a different manufacturer that ALSO will produce register rewards, especially if you have manufacturer coupons that you can use to make it an even better bargain. When you get a WAGS ad that doesn't have anything that is free or almost free with register rewards and/or coupons, then THAT is the time to use them on other sales items that do not produce the register rewards before your RR expire. Do not waste them on sending in for rebates as it varies widely as to whether the company will deduct any coupons and register rewards from the price paid.

        • 3monkeysmom

I agree.Couldn't have said that better myself :)

      • bevb

You said “the best way” to use the RR's is on items that don't give RR's. My area Walgreens WON'T let you use RR's to get RR's. I remember in the past using RR's to get RR's. Wish there was some consistency. I have been doing couponing about a year now and can see a rapid decline in most stores(not just Walgreens) being coupon friendly. The looks I have gotten when I have asked if I could use RR's to get RR's……well I don't like feeling like a criminal when I'm not doing anything wrong.

    • Firstbrownie

Has anyone bought the Accu-check with the rebate? For some reason, I'm thinking I saw on here somewhere that the rebate was expired….but I went through all the comments and couldn't find anything. Did I hear that they are extending the rebate? My husband's coworker is in need of these, and it would be great if I could get some for her between CVS and Wags!

    • Mom26inFl

I have been sitting here reading all the comments posted on this week. Thought I would let some Mommies that the Huggies wipes coupons that came out in last weeks paper for $2/1 are supposed to be for the big box, but I went to four diffrent Walgreens and all of them took the coupons for the small box on sale for $2.50. I know its not so honest but with three in daipers I now have twelve containers of wipes. I do not feel bad my Walgreens here in Fl has been horrible to me, especially the Pharmacy. Not one of the stores said a thing and I think its because the picture on the coupon has the small container on it. Hope this helps, only one day of sale left!!!
