Here are the deals that will at Walgreens starting Sunday 11/8.  Most Walgreens weekly ads will have a $5 off $25 coupon on the outside page!!  Remember at Walgreens these coupons always state that your total must be $25 after all other coupons to use this.  I’ve made a few scenarios this week for ideas using this and then one not using this.  You’ll notice the deal without it is better…

    • Kelly

First of all, Jenny, thank you for all you do to help those of us struggling in these hard economic times. Secondly, I don’t know if the ad specifies which size Theraflu is $5.00, but the November coupon book states the 12 packet size. Typically, the ones on sale for $5 are the 6 packet size. Just a heads up. This same size situation happened to me last week on the Pantene deal. The coupon book specified a larger size, which made the deal not as lucrative.

      • Mina

Yes, it is the 6 packet that is on sale, not the 12 pack.

      • srtasa

the 3.00 nov coupon booklet q will not work.

        • Has anyone tried the $2 off Theraflu from the Healthy savings Booklet?

          • Tiya

I used the $2 off from the healthy savings booklet and it took off $4.00 since the $3 off q would not work.

      • kristin

I tried at 2 different walgreens to use the 3 dollar coupon. No luck. Walgreens is finicky about their store coupons. They are usually very specific. I had trouble using mine last night. I was successful in gettting 2 clearasil for 25c each though!!

      • April

I purchased the almay mascara today. They said the RR was over. Where is the AD for the month long RR deal?

    • Kelly

There is also a $1 off Huggies diapers coupon in the Walgreen’s Childrens Activity book.

    • Vanessa

Are you aloud to use the in-ad coupon and the Walgreens store coupon in the November booklet? Are they concidered both store coupons or something different. Some of there policies don’t make sense to me. Just want to be sure before I try it.

      • MarySC

Yes, I’ve used both several times in the past few weeks.

    • Beth

I’ve used both coupons on the same item (several weeks ago). Technically I think the computer WILL take them, but I’ve run into some store managers/cashiers who refuse to even scan them.

    • Amber

There is a 2.00 off Walgreens store Pull ups printable on walgreeens.com, happy stacking :)

    • MIchelle

      Hello all!

      Excellent site!

Question, on the Theraflu deal this week, where two of the coupons, the three dollar and the two dollar come from a WAGS book, can you use those together? I know the 2 dollar from the SS is a manu coupon where as the other two are WAGS coupons so if you do not have the coupon from the 10/8 SS, can you still use the 3 dollar and the 2 dollar from the booklets and get it for free?

    • Stephanie

Thank you for everything you do. This is an incredible site!

I wondered if anyone else had a problem with the Glade deal this week. When we tried to use our $4 off mfr with the $1/2 from the Walgreens November coupon book; they said it wouldn’t work. In fact, she hadn’t even scanned the $4 one yet and it beeped right away after scanning the $1/2. This particular store/cashier has always gone out of their way to help me out. This makes me wonder if something might be up with their comp. system. After reading the “fine print”, they pointed out that it was a manufacturer Q and that we couldn’t use 2 mfr Qs. I understand that; but wouldn’t the one from the monthly store booklet still be considered a store Q since it can only be redeemed @ Walgreens? I see you’ve “stacked” them in your deals for the coming week. Will the fine print prevent us from using both Qs again or are we doing something else wrong?

Thanks again for all you do!

      • Teri

I had this same thing happen last week with the Theraflu. I had them void the transaction then rering it. This time I handed the manufacturer coupon first, then the walgreens and it took them both. I think the order they put the coupons in makes a difference.
        Hope this helps

        • Stephanie

Thanks Teri. I’ll be sure to do this next time.

      • Jennifer

I trued the Glade deal this week. I handed them the manf., the ad, and the November book coupon and the Novemebr book one beeped and I couldn’t use it. I don’t know if it would have worked if I would have handed them the Nov. coupon before the ad or not.

        • Jessica

I did the glade deal on 2 – 3 wick candles last week and also the glade sprays this week, both times the mgr/cashier had to overide the system. The computers have only programmed the items pictured but it does say $1/2 glade products so mgmt will ok it.

    • Does anyone know if I can use two of the same RR in one transaction. I got 4 Breeze Monitors last week in seperate transactions and recieved a $5 RR for both transactions. Can I now use both to equal $10 off in one transaction or must I do two seperate transactions with $5 each? I am figuring the latter, but thought I would ask anyways.

      • heather

        Happy Homemaker,
I have had many problems at Walgreens so be prepared. But, in my experience you can use both of the RR’s in one transaction to receive a total of $10 off your bill. One store I shop at always questions my using multiple RR to pay. They call the Manager EVERY time that I am in the store and get permission to take the multiple RR’s. (By the way I hardly go into that store anymore, because no other store gives me a problem).

        • Carolin

I have 3 Wags within a 5 mile radius of me and 2 of them WILL NOT take more than 1 RR. The other will take more, but some of the older employees doing so unpleasantly. I truly don’t see what the difference is to them. I can eitehr do 1 transaction or do 4 back to back. I personally think that 1 transaction is easier for them.

          • Meredith

My experience with Walgreens has been: you can use more than 1 RR in a transaction AS LONG AS you don’t have more “coupons” (RR count as a coupon) than items. If I’m only buying 1 item but am using 2 different RR, I have to always buy a filler item. Like Jenny says, the 12 cents cups or a pack of gum or something works….it doesn’t have to be expensive, just something! :) Hope that helps.

      • You should as long as you’re buying at least 2 items. If you’re also using manufacturer q’s for whatever you’re buying, you’ll need more items. There needs to be one item for every coupon you buy. Hope that makes sense!

      • Vanessa

I always pay almost all of my bill with RR and have never had a problem, but the order they put the coupons in really, really, really makes a difference. Jenny said in one of her earlier posts to always hand Walgreens RRs first, manufacturers second, and store coupons last. This always works for me. Hope this helps.

      • Jackie

I purchased 4 monitors today (separate transactions) and then turned around and used those $20 (4- $5RR’s) PLUS the $5 off $25 and bought 5 things with them with no beeping… yeay!!! I ended up paying about $3.07 for 4 monitors, 4 toys, theraflu, and 4 clearasils with no problems.

Like other people have mentioned, just make sure that you don’t have more coupons (RR’s are considered coupons, too) than items and you should be fine.

    • Pam

Walgreens website is advertising a $5 RR when you spend $25 in store. I did this yesterday and my RR did not print, the manager of course knew nothing about this deal but looked it up on the website and refunded me $5. If you go to Walgreens.com and type ‘register rewards’ in the search the offer pops up.

      • Jenny

The site actually shows that it was for 2008. I don’t think they update things often. It’s great that your store manager gave you the $5.

        • big john

Jenny knows this because a couple of weeks ago when we were expecting a 5 off 25 i emailed her about website directly. She caught the date right away and burst my little bubble.

    • Hi, I had a question about using a coupon for the Breeze Meters. I’ve got CVS-ing down but usually skip Walgreens. However, free RR is too good to pass up!

My question is: If I am just buying the meter, should I throw in a filler item or two, or would this not matter?

Also, if I buy another meter in a second transaction, can I use the previous RR to pay for other items or would this not work?

      • Mandy Gabers

Technically you can use the RR towards the purchase of another meter but the RR for the meter you just purchased will not print. So it is best not to use them on the same item you are purchasing.

      • Carolin

No filler item is needed. The cashier will adjust the coupon down to the price of the meter.

    • Tina

      Does CVS accept Wags RR???

      • 99 percent will not. Call your CVS to check.

    • Sheri

The clabber girl coupon is for a different size.

    • Aaron

anyone able to buy a gift card with RR? I’m not talking about Mgr’s not allowing it, I’m talking about the reg. just working with it no beep, no fuss. If so, what Gift cards were you able to buy. I tried to get a Wag Store one that was a pick your amount to put on it and it did not work. My store will let you do anything as long as it doesn’t beep. Thats why I only shop at that one… They are great. I wou;dn’t mind the subway, or even dell one. I could buy a computer off RR… that would be cool

      • Marby

You cannot use RR to purchase gift cards.

      • I have bought a TGI Fridays gift card using RR a few month back.

        • Aaron

    • Debra

I have a question? Can I just buy the Breeze Meter with the coupon that says up to $30 without purchasing anything else? I seen where you can get a $5 RR which is great, my brother is a diabetic so I can give this to him. Any help is appreciated.

      • Carolin

The cashier will adjust the coupon down to the sale price of the meter. Hope that helps

      • Jackie

I bought 4 of them today in separate transactions so I could get (4) $5RR’s and the coupons worked out just fine. I am giving mine to my dad who is diabetic, too…

    • Carolin

I’m wondering if anyone has tried the Theraflu deal. Has anyone tried buying 3? I know in the past that if we bought 3 we got back a $8RR. I know that it’s a new month with new deals. Didn’t know if anyone knew.

      • Jennifer

A friend of mine tried buying 3 of the the Theraflu and she didn’t get the 8 rr just the one that is mentioned for buying 2. Hope this helps

    • Debra

      Hi, Carolin
Thank you for answering my question and I hope you get help with your question.

    • Dena

Can you buy (3) of the prilosecs in 3 separate transactions, but at the same time? I mean in one trip to the store, but have them ring them up separately?

      • Yes. Just tell them you are going to do three transactions. I let other people behind me go so I don’t hold up the line forever. Sometimes I will go to the cosmetic counter because there are less people waiting there. The cashiers are much friendlier if you are courteous to others in line. HTH :)

    • I am so excited about the $5 off coupon this week! I know it doesn’t help most people but these are perfect for my daughters formula which costs almost $25 on the nose. Not to mention the $30 in RR that I have from last week. Can’t wait to get to Wags!

      • Jessica

Wondering if the $5 coupon is a printable one. If so, does it state what store it could be used at? I did not get the $5 :( so was wondering if I could print it from Walgreens site with the proper zip code.

        • Tarrah R.

It’s on the front page of the ad- Don’t know if you can get it from the ads in store, but definately from the one in the sunday paper.

    • Debra

Question? How many register rewards can you use in 1 transaction? I have 3 and would like to use them all today because they expire today.
      Thanks for any help.

      • You should be able to use all three as long as you have three items without coupons. The RR are considered manufacturer coupons so have equal number of coupons per items and grab a filler if you need one. If they give you trouble, just do it in three transactions, but you shouldn’t have any problem.

        • Debra

          Hi, Ashley
Thank you for answering my question, I used all 3 register rewards in 1 transaction and had no problems.

      • I have used up to 6 RR at a time if your item total and your coupon total match you should have no problem.(you still have to pay all taxes so, sometimes I have candy that can be rung up just in case you need more items)

    • NewGuy

Cranberry and vodka is my favorite. I went to the store in hopes of finding the $1 peelie. No luck, but there is a $1 off coupon in the November Coupon Book.

      • LD

If you can find the new Healthy savings booklet there is a $1 off the juice in that too. It is a small one just like the Monthley deals and has a picture of a woman and 2 kids of the cover baking or mixing . I cant find it at my stores yet . But have seen scans of them .

Also on the web site if you go look up your circular you will see a small thing on right to see extra in store savings this week . If you go to second page and blow it up . they are extra weekly coupons that arent in the flyer . It says print here when u do it goes to regular size

Just a question. I am guilty of buying too many deoderants or toothbrushes if is a good deal, but these are items that I will use or I can give them to my family or donate them to service projects. I was wondering what people do with glucose monitors when you don’t have diabetes. The FREE register rewards are appealing, but I have a difficult time justifying purchasing something that I have no use for whatsoever. Any ideas?

      • I donate the meters to our local Council on Aging or the Red Cross.

      • Jennifer

Sorry, I don’t have an anwser for you, but I was wondering the same thing for medications. Anyone know if there is a place to donate them?

      • Amber

Mine go to a homeless shelter!

        • Ileana

My church goes on mission trips and usually ask fo medicine & toiletries for their trips.

          • Meredith

Check with your OB/GYN office to see if you can donate them there. I had gestational diabetes and fortunately didn’t have to purchase a meter b/c my OB/GYN had some in the office they could give me. It was a blessing, let me tell you!

            • Tamara

I adopted my son from Guatemala so we send items down there. My sister is going on missions trips to Uganda and El Salvador. We need all the toothbrushes and toothpaste you can get.. Anything else you would like to donate would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at tlcsaver@yahoo.com

    • Sharon

Has anyone tried the transactions Jenny mentioned? I have it all printed, but after reading some of these comments, not sure if it will work with the coupons she has listed. (some not the correct size).
I am planning a trip to Walgreens in a little bit and would like for the manager not to be called on me!! Ha Ha!!!

    • Tina M

I just purchased the Bayer glucose monitor and didn’t get the $5 RR. The cashier even tried crediting it and ringing it up again, without success. Then the manager tried ringing one up without a coupon and it still didn’t print. I did get a catalina for $5.00 off glucose test strips and $1.00 off colgate toothpaste. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Jennifer

The RR didn’t print for me, either. First the manager thought it was because of the coupon making it free, so then she tried ringing it up without the coupon (in which case you could just send in for the rebate, making it the same amount out of pocket), but it didn’t work that way, either. She tried another register, and no luck there, so she wound up just giving me a $5 Walgreens gift card. Works for me!

        • Jenn

The same thing happened to me this morning- RR wouldn’t print on the meter. The manager also thought it was because I had used a coupon, but she couldn’t get the rewards to print for any item. I told her I had planned on using them for diapers, so she just adjusted the price of the diapers down $5. Works for me!

      • Susan

The same thing happened to me this evening. Purchased the glucose monitor using the $30 coupon. Rcvd product for free. $5 off strips and $1 off toothpaste printed off. I was all ready to make another transaction with my $5 RR towards other items in the store ~ so I thought. I asked someone on the floor to help since the register was backed up with a line. I didnt want these RR for the strips and toothpaste. Then she called the manager…..the manager stood there in silence starring at my register printouts and the sales ad. Then he looked at me and said “I guess we are doing our RR differently”….this answer made no sense to me. I gave up frustrated and left. I am so new to use Walgreens. I really didnt know how to handle the situation. I only have one Walgreens in my local area. I am soooo frustrated and discouraged. Any thoughts/suggestions? Is it because I used a coupon? I feel this is false advertising…..

On another note ~ someone suggested I try the mail in rebate for $14.99 even though the receipt says total $0.00. I didnt feel right doing this since I didnt pay anything. Her thoughts were you made the purchase plain and simple. Will this work?

        • Susan

Regarding not getting my $5RR for the Contour Meter purchase…(rcvd $5 cpn for Contour strips instead). I just called Walgreens consumer relations dept. I now have a case # and the info. is being sent to Senior Management. I cant accept the answer “I guess thats the way we are doing our register rewards now.” Esp. since I only have 1 Walgreens in our area. Yes its finally happened. I am obsessed!

          • Susan

FYI ~ if anyone else had this problem. I just rcvd a call from a manager at my local Walgreens letting me know he has $5 RR waiting for me to be picked up. He said there was a glitch in the computer system.

        • Jenny P

Bayer is VERY picky about their mail-in rebates. I purchased several items (including a monitor) at Walgreens and used a rr to pay for some of my purchase. Bayer declined my mail-in rebate because I used a coupon (walgreens rr show as a manufacturer coupon on your receipt). The only time I have received a rebate from Bayer was when I purchased the item without using any coupons.

          • Kellyann

I agree with Jenny. They won’t give you a rebate when you paid nothing for it to begin with.

    • Margy

I just came from Walgreens in Hixson, and the Bayer meter deal is even sweeter than I thought! There are packages on the shelf of the Bayer Contour meter that have a FREE A1C test kit attached to the package, still rings up at $14.99 ! I used the coupon for up to $30 off, plus I got two Bayer Quick Release (4 pack type) and used the 2/$3 coupon in this weeks ad. My pre-coupon total for Bayer products was more than $20, so it printed my $5 Bayer RR. Awesome! My daughter is diabetic, so even though it isn’t the meter we use (I’ll donate it), the A1C test will come in so handy!!

      • Margy

Oops, I meant to say the $5 rewards was just for purchasing the meter. There is another RR posted on the shelves for a RR when you buy $20 of Bayer products…I mistyped.
Again, hooray for free A1C test kits!

        • LD

I was wondering about that if the meter would work toward that Bayer RR . And There was only one kit left at our store and it did not have the A1C kit on it . Wish it had . I am going to try the Breeze 2 kit out , didnt get the other one though as I have used it before and didnt like it to much . I will use any kit that has free stips lol .Was the A1c kit on the Breeze 2 kit or the other one ? I may have to go looking for another one to get the A1C kit free .

          • Aaron

Tried it today and it only printed one $5 RR

    • Sharon

How long ago did the healthy heart booklet come out? I cant find one.
Would love some free aspirin for my mother-in-law.

    • Stephanie

CVS takes walgreens coupons, so I’m going to try to use the $5 off a $25 purchase.
Also, Walgreens monthly coupon booklet has $4 off Almay mascara I believe it’s mascara anyways. Our CVS will take these coupons too. Just FYI :)

      • Susan

What CVS do you shop at?

    • Jennifer

Has anyone had a problem with the RR printing for the spend $20.00 on meds and get back 10.00 RR? I did the transaction and none printed, the manager said it was because I used coupons so didn’t actualy spend $20.00 so they wouldn’t print. I have never had this problem before.

      • Dina

When I went to Walgreens this morning the $10 RR didn’t print for the $20 worth of Sudafed/Tylenol that I bought. The manager said they were having problems with the RRs printing today and hopefully it will work itself out during the rest of the day but he put $10.75 on a Wags giftcard for me. I have never had a problem with RRs printing when I use coupons.

      • Amy

I bought the Tylenol Cold and it worked fine. You have to actually buy 5 because they are 4.99 each and would be a few pennies short. I used printable manufactor coupons and the one dollar off (which rang up 5 times) from the Walgreens Healthy savings book and it was a great deal!

    • Jackie

Just wanted to give people a heads up that the theraflu store coupon is actually not for the same theraflu they have on sale with the RR. Your local store may not care and honor them, but the coupon itself shows that it is specifically for a different kind of theraflu, one that comes in packets. The ad price and RR’s are for the liquid ones, not the packets…The manager at my local store offered to honor it anyway but after multiple attempts was not able to due to the all-too-familiar beeping register not letting him override it… maybe someone out there will get lucky and their register will not beep even when the manager is telling it to do something different.

    • Sarah Richey

I got the meter last night. It was the only thing I purchased. I used the coupon and the cashier adjusted it down to $14.99. I paid nothing out of pocket and got the $5 RR. Perfect transaction!

    • Chantelle

Does the $5 of $25 q to be after RR too? I have a nice transaction planned out where I have $25 after Q’s but then I want to use my $16 of RR to pay for it… will this work?

      • Jessica

I am wondering the same thing.

        • Sylvia

I’ve read that the $5 off $25 will be applied after all Q’s. However, I went on Sunday and my cashier took it first.

          I bought the following:

          3 12pk Cokes for $13.00
          1 Bayer Monitor $14.99
          2 Kotex for $6.00

I handed her the $5 off $25 first, the Bayer monitor Q which was adjusted to $14.99, $10RR and a $2RR. I paid $2.34 OOP and got back $5RR and $1RR!

    • Susan

I was wondering about the rebate on the Contour meters, too. Whether or not they would send a $14.99 rebate. Anyone know?

      • andrea

i am thinking no if you have to enter the serial number since my cashier wrote the serial number on the coupon i used. if your cashier didn’t do this or the serial number isn’t asked for for the rebate maybe… let me know!

      • M Rose

I have tried to do a rebate before onthese and it did not work…sorry!!

    • Amy

Where are the monthly deals listed? I don’t see the Soliel and Almay deals in print and they aren’t advertised at my store.

      • tonya

They are a month long deal but….I went in today to use some expiring rewards and the almay RR deal is on only Pure Blend (the $4 off in the Nov. booklet is for One Coat), so they don’t work hand in hand and won’t get them for free like listed. And the Soleil deal is on 4 blade razors and refills which run around $7.50, so with the $3 RR and the $2 man. coupon…you’re still looking at $2.50 or so. The breathe righ strips also ended up being really expensive for the Nov. coupon is only good on the larger packs. So I ended up buying Halloween candy with my expiring RR. Very disappointing…for I surely don’t need any more candy in the house and I love to roll over my RR.

    • Carolin

HELP! What to do with all of the diabetic meters. I have 8 from previous deals. I want to use my coupons to be able to get the $5RR, but feel bad because I feel like I’m hoarding so many already. I’ve called a few shelters and they will take them but rarely have anyone that is diabetic. Can someone please recommend where to donate the meters.

      • Tausha

Have you tried Hospice? Local hospitals? Maybe a childrens’ rehab or hospital? Some local doctors offices run diabetes clinics, they may like them for the patients that they teach. Just some ideas.

        • I gave one to my friend who is diabetic and can’t afford the meter. I am finding that I have several friends at church who diabetic.

      • Kate

Try checking your area for local diabetes camps that are for children with diabetes. You may be surprised as to how many there are and most of these camps operate primarily on donations! A great cause, and your meters will definitely be put to good use!

        • pharmSCgirl

Oh, diabetes camps are a good idea. Camp Adam Fisher is in South Carolina and would probably greatly take them. I just wish I had more coupons to get more so I could donate them.

      • pharmSCgirl

If you have a local pharmacy school in your town you can call and see if they have a group that does diabetes monitoring and I’m sure they could use them. My school goes into pharmacies and sets up a diabetes screening station. It’s always an option.

    • Penny

fairly new at couponing at wags & cvs. think i may be confused. my understanding is that w/both of these u cannot have more qs than u have items to purchase & rrs & ecbs are considered qs. is this correct? also, are sales items in the paper each week with qs counted towards the # of qs u have for wags? hopefully i’ll soon get this mastered. tks.

      • Penny,

        Regarding Walgreens:
You cannot have more coupons than you have items. RR are considered manufacturer coupons. The in-ad coupons do not count towards your coupon total (think of them more as a sale price). I don’t think that the other Walgreens store coupons count either, but I’m not 100% sure on that part.

        Regarding CVS:
You can have 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon per item. ECB’s count as store coupons. I can’t remember any time that I’ve needed to add in a filler item at CVS just to even up my coupon to item count but I suppose it could happen.

        • Penny

thanks. this does help. i’ve been counting everything as a coupon & trying to add filler items to equal all…..can be very difficult when u have a q for just about every item u are purchasing. think i’ve been spending more oop than i should have to. thanks again!

        • Penny

for wags, can only have 1 q per item, be it mq or store q but w/cvs i can have 2 qs for each item (1 store & 1 mq)? just want to be sure i am clear. tks.

    • Jamie

Where do you find a list of the monthly deals at Walgreens? I went in there today and purchased the Breatheright srips and when I asked for my RR they said that there weren’t RR with them that it wasn’t on special.

      • Amy

I am wondering the same thing. I don’t see them printed anywhere but they must be somewhere because other coupon sites have them listed as well.

    • andrea

my walgreens wouldn’t take the coupon for the theraflu since it is for a 12 pack and only the 6 packs were on sale; however there is a coupon for ocean spray in the november coupon book for $1 off which they are only 1.99 to begin with. 64 oz of juice for 99 cents. pretty sweet.

    • Margie

In reference to the above scenarios (Forget About the In Ad Coupon) – will Walgreens seriously do a transaction that totals $0 and still give you RR back? My Walgreens in Columbia isn’t terribly friendly, so maybe I’m just cynical.

      • Tausha

Sure will! Ain’t it sweet?? I did two of them yesterday and have another dozen to do later in the week. I jump around to 1/2 a dozen Wags across town doing one or two deals per store. I don’t want to deplete any one store of items. I want others to enjoy. We have one on every corner here in FL, I pass LOTS in any given week. So I’ll just spread the love :) Organizations benefit from donations and my family benefits from the RR – diapers, toilet paper, soap, did I mention Diapers???

    • Sharon

Went to Wal Greens today to try out the deals. They wouldn’t take the theraflu coupon. It is a different size than what is on sale to get the RR. Used the $5 off $25 coupon instead. Cashier scanned it first. Had to buy a cookie to donate to the troops to make it $25 worth, but still did ok and the troops get a cookie!! I like getting RR for the free meter!!

    • Ileana

I wanted to know if there is a limit as to how many Breeze or Countour Meters I can get in one transaction? I have 4 coupons for the up to $30 and wanted to try to get them all at once. I love this site and have been doing all of the grocery deals but I have not gotten into the drug stores. I figured this would be a great place to start.

    • Stephanie

I went to the new Walgreens in town today and was told that the $5RR for Contour meter would not print if the coupon was used for the entire purchase value. Indeed, it did not print and the store manager simply told me that they would not issue a RR on a free item.

      • Tamie

I think they fix their machines at some stores. I used the coupon to buy both meters here in Georgia and it printed my RR’s just fine. I don’t see why they have to be so mean sometimes.

    • lavanya

I have been asking this question in other blogs too and have asked in this once before(no luck so far) – please someone answer my question .
I have a diaper related question- did not know where exactly to put this question-
all the diaper deals that you and others here get how much does it cost for each diaper???….because we buy from costco it costs us 29-30 cents per diaper.. how much does yours work out to be from walgreens or cvs or whereever you get your diaper deals from?
      Thank You.

      • Tarrah R.

I, personally, do not have to purchase dia[ers any longer; but I have seen where Jenny has gotten a pack (do not know what size pack) for $.48, and sometimes Free from CVS. I think CVS would be an easier place to get you diapers as cheap as possible because with Wags’ TONS of rules on Q’s and RR’s, you’d have to buy a LOT of fillers to take place of each Q and RR. HTH!

      • Carole

With twins, I pay close attention to the price per diaper. My goal in the smaller sizes was always .05-.07. For sz3 up, I strive for < .12. You pay too much at big box stores because you can’t use coupons, and never are there Catalina/RR/ecb deals. Start watching the blogs, it is easy
        to figure out.

        • lavanya

          Thank You Carole and Tarrah!!
will be on lookout for diaper deals from now on..

    • Bkosten

      Hey everyone,
I always read the posts before my weekly trip to the drug stores, and I just wanted to add a positive note here. I know that we have all had our rough experiences that can be so incredibly frustrating, especially when you are on a tight budget. Believe me, I have had my share! But today I had such a wonderful experience at Walgreens and CVS. I usually do not go on Wednesday mornings, but now I am wondering if this is the best plan after all! For once, every single thing I was looking for was in stock – no searching for a store clerk to check in the back storage area or wandering through an aisle for fifteen minutes wondering if there is still somehow one left that was misplaced! Not only that, but at Walgreens, every coupon went through no beeps and no problems. (NOTE: I used Jenny’s recommendation about the order of Q’s and I will from now on!) The cashier started out a bit huffy when I asked her to ring up multiple transactions, but then her attitude changed when I thanked her for being patient. She even insisted on helping me carry my bags to the car while I dealt with two crying babies! At CVS, the results were the same. The cashier was in training, but she was incredibly sweet and understanding. I made it home with all my Free stuff and great deals smiling and convinced that one is able to go drug storing and have a happy experience after all!

      • Tanya

Can someone please remind me of the correct order for coupons?

    • Jonathan

Cannot find the contour meter coupon in 10/25 SS nor do I have the theraflu coupon in the 10/18 SS! This is frustrating…I’ve not cut them up and labeled them based on their date. I even get the SS coupons twice a week, once on Sunday and once in a Wednesday local paper and neither have these coupons listed…help?

    • Sean

If you are doing the contour or breeze 2 deal, go with the contour. It’s printing 5RR, -1 colgate total, and -5 25ct contour test strips. However, the breeze 2 prints RR only.

    • Karen

I bought the Betty Crocker Warm Delights the other day. FYI: some of the packaging is promoting the Susan Komen Cancer Foundation. (Packaging has pink on it with the pink lapel pin). There is a 75c off 2 coupon on the underside of those specific packages. Enjoy! :)

    • Where are you guys finding these meters? Every store that we have checked has had zero! Does anyone know if they get trucks in after their ad starts? I am in Anderson/Greenville area so if anyone knows where I could possibly find some of these please let me know! Thanks

      • LD

I have only found 1 in my area . And it was becasue it was behind the counter in the pharmacy lol. guess who ever was cleaning them out here didnt want to ask the pharmacist . I wish it had been the contour though, as the breeze comes with a disk but no strips . uggg . The test strips are what cost so much . I usally get the free meters just to use the strips out of them . Next time anyone is debatting on which one to leave on the shelves [if you do ] leave one with stips so those that do need them can get them with the strips . Free meters are usally not to hard to find [one way or another] but those stinking strips are the not free and so over priced you tend to skip on them . They may put out a $5 0r $10 coupon on them lol but they cost a $100 . This is where they get you . blah to the pharmacutical companys .

        • Carrie

No kidding to the price of the strips. I never imagined so much went into the cost of this stuff until I personally had to begin testing on one here at home. I know that some free meters don’t come with strips and this has been frustrating for me once I get the whole thing put together and have read my instructions on how to use it, then I realize the strips are sold “separately”. :/

      • Michael Odell

I have seen them at every store in the Chicago Area. I have also found that if you don’t shop on Sunday everying will be gone. I shop after the midweek truck usually Wednesday night or Thursday, so most of the products get restocked.

      • Tausha

Every store has it’s own individual truck day. My advise is to ask someone at your store when their ‘truck day’ is. Everyone on staff knows what day since they all help put it away. Also, ‘truck day’s change every major holiday. So, if your store truck day is on Monday, when Thanksgiving rolls around, their truck day will typically switch to Tuesday. So, just make sure to ask periodically to verify what day it changes to. hth.

        • Tausha

          hahaha, advice… :)

    • martha

I bought the Bayer and Huggies diapers, with $5 off coupon, bayer coupon and $1.5 huggies. I ended up paying $3.5 and received $5RR, that was great!
