    • Sarah

The reynolds wrap coupon for $1 off says that it excludes 20ft packs as well. Can I use the 55 cents off the non stick variety?

      Love this website!

    • Stephanie Jones

Jenny- Thank you for everything you do, you help our family save A LOT of money every month! Just wanted to let you know that the full scan link for Walgreens 03/29/09 ad was not working. (For the full ad scan go here.)
I know the site is working out the bugs but just wanted to make sure you knew- Thank you again- Stephanie Jones

    • Jessi

Jenny, thank you so much for giving me this gift of couponing. I do have one super good deal on the physician’s formula. If you go in their website, they have a full rebate. So you would be getting paid $10 to get make-up after the Walgreens rebate and the manufacturer’s rebate!!!!!!!

    • Alicia W.

      In reference to:

$1.49 ESR wyb One a day multivitamin mix 2 pk , Free after ESR
-$1 off One A Day Adult or Teen Multivitamin Product, (exp 3/31) SS 1/04

Can you buy it on the 31st when the coupon is still good and then put it in the computer for the rebate after April 1st or will that not work since the receipt won’t be dated for April?

      • Jenny

These April Deals start Sunday 3/29. Sorry I’ll make sure that is clear at the top.

    • Angela

There was a One A Day coupon and a Physicians Formula coupon in the 3/22 SS as well.

    • Deanne G

I have found out that the Walgreens in and around Lexington, SC no longer carry the 20oz Cokes, only the 16oz. I’ve had a B1G1 Free 20oz Coke and not been able to use it. I’ve started to inquire at the each WAGS and found out that Coke is no longer stocking the 20ozs in Walgreens. Be careful before you use your My Coke Rewards on this one. Thanks!

    • Adele

Being new to couponing, would it be okay to use the $4/2 One A Day coupon in the 3/22 SS and have overage? So long as there is a buffer to not make the register go off? Thanks for all you do for us :-)

      • Jenny

You can try that coupon. The free item is really a trial pack and that coupon might be worded or coded to exclude trial sizes.

    • Kim

A Greenvill SC Walgreens mgr. told me they were going to stop doing monthly saver rebates because they were such a hassle. Have you heard this? If so, when does it stop? I understood him to say after this month’s but it sounds like April is already published so maybe it’s after April. Just an FYI. Thanks for helping me learn to save money!

    • srtasa

i heard that april was the last month for the rebates. they have gotten real slow these last few months in crediting you. their sales will go down when they discontinue them. i wonder if they will be discontinuing the easy saver coupons too. i quess more people will be losing their jobs too.

    • Crystal

Walgreen’s WILL be stopping the rebate program, April will be the last month they do it, also they are getting rid of the RR program sometime in August. I have read about so many people blaming “us” the people who use coupons and say we take advantage of the sales and too many people are losing money but that is bogus, Wags gets reimbursed for there rr’s just like other manuf. coupons, so they are NOT out any money. I think it stinks that Wags is doing away with their programs, they will lose alot of customers, I personally plan to do my drugstore shopping at CVS now.

    • Dianna

Has anyone had a problem with the Pepsi printable coupon? It told me I have already had the # of allowed prints although I have NEVER printed a pepsi coupon. Does anyone know what would cause this?

    • Word on the street is there’s also an Edge & Skintimate Shaving gel display advertising free after Register Rebate. =)

    • meghan

does walgreens honor rite aide coupons? this sunday paper has up to 100$ in rite aide giftcards if transfer in RX. i have 3 RX i can transfer and walgreens has better deals this wk on this i need… thank you so much!

      • Jenny

A lot of pharmacies will honor prescription transfer coupons and incentives so it is worth it to try!

    • stacey

When I was in Walgreens they told me I could only use 1rr in a transaction to check out. I see in the above sanario you used 2 one for chapstick and one on trash bags Can I use one from chapstick and one on pepsi to do buy other stuff

      • Jenny

You can pay with as many RR in a transaction as you have products for. They are really manuf coupons so if you buy 3 products and already have 3 coupons then the computer will not take any RR, but if you buy 5 products, have 3 normal manuf coupons you would still be able to use 2 RR coupons. Does that make sense?

    • Fern

I have questions on the SoftSoap body wash deal. I got my first one this morning and used a $1 off coupon. Got the RR for the free one next purchase. I used the RR in another store and at first the register beeped and the cashier did something to override it and of all things I got another RR for another free body wash!!!. My first question is, did I get the beep because I used the RR on the same day? My second question is, can I use another $1 off coupon and the RR for free body wash to get a $1 overage on my next purchase.
Thanks for all your help Jenny!!!

    • Michelle

PedaSure is at a decent price at Wags – $10.99 per 6-pack (Kroger had it for $10.19). Use the $2 easysaver coupon and any manufacture coupons you can find, I had 3-$2 off 1 6 pack, but will be searching for many more over the next month. Saves you 36% which I think is quite good for PedaSure.
Oh and Jenny, your website rocks!

    • Angela

I saw someone above asking about the Softsoap body wash deal. The dealis rolling, so you can just keep on buying another one…and another one.. And, as long as you have other things that you are purchasing, you should be able to use your coupon. Also, when you think you have enough body washes, and another coupon prints out, give the last coupon to the employee working the cash register! She’ll be around when they restock the shelves and can do the deal herself! As I went into my Walgreens today, I was looking for a way to bless them because they aren’t usually very nice to me. Then, that came to mind! I love to leave a positive impression of couponers.

    • Fern

      Great idea Angela!
Over the past month I have become familiar with many of the cashiers and in a good way. I make my transactions small and I tend to keep the number of coupons used to 5 or less. This way I feel that I am not a bother. I may buy two more softsoaps so I’ll have three RRs at the very end of the week that I can give to my three favorite cashiers.

    • Karen

I don’t think the Physician’s Formula makeup manufacturer’s rebate is going to go with this sale. I believe the items offered for rebate from the manufacturer are not the same as the Walgreeens rebate. Also, if you read the fine print on the rebate form, you have to have purchased a product that has the “Try Me Free” peelie on it and send that in with the rebate form.

This deal is becoming way too complicated for me to follow. If I’m wrong, will someone break it down for me? :)

    • carolin

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a coupon that reads $5 off Huggies Gentle Care Diapers Product. Could someone tell me if this will work for the wipes or is it just for the diapers. I printed this awhile ago from coupons.com, but I can’t remember if it’s good for the wipes or just the diapers. Thanks for the help.

    • Whitney

The Huggies coupon will work on wipes, diapers (any variety), or pullups.

    • Holly

      Huggies Coupon:

Yes, I have used the Huggies $3 and $5 coupons at target on wipes, with no problems. I use the $5 coupon on the large wipe refiles that are $5.99 (making it $0.99) and the $3 coupons on the single box of wipes that sells for around $2.35 (Profit!!!). I have done this on multiple shopping trips.

    • Holly

I am having a problem printing the Soft Soap coupon. The website says, print limit reached. Is anyone else having this problem?

    • $1.00 off coupon for Aquafresh toothpate, you pay $0.99. You must register to print coupon.

    • carolin

      Thank you Whitney.

    • carolin

      Thank you!

    • Whitney

Mine said the same thing. I couldn’t print the softsoap coupon and I’ve never printed one before.

    • Whitney

As mentioned in #14, there is a RR deal for the skintimate cream shave lotion (and edge shave gel). Buy 1 for 2.99 and a $3 RR prints.

    • Shannon in ATL

Are you talking about adding filler items? I am new to Walgreens and I thought I remember you recommending that you use certain coupons first, just can’t remember the order.

….You can pay with as many RR in a transaction as you have products for. They are really manuf coupons so if you buy 3 products and already have 3 coupons then the computer will not take any RR, but if you buy 5 products, have 3 normal manuf coupons you would still be able to use 2 RR coupons. Does that make sense?

      • Jenny

Shannon – Add filler items or just have things in your cart that you aren’t using a coupon on… I know hard to believe but maybe you just really need it.

    • Debbie

      Hey Jenny,

Just tried the Coke Rewards promo code, and it said the promotion was over. :(

Oh well…on to the next deal…

    • Jennifer

I have spoken to all the managers at the WG I work at about whether or not the SuperSavers or the Register Rewards system is going away. Nobody has heard anything about it. It is possible the manager at the Greenville store (and others) are spreading that rumor on purpose because some of them can be resentful of couponers…personally, I think you all rock!

Catalina(the company that does the register rewards/coupons) has caught onto the loophole with the Softsoap and the coupon no longer prints out on a product purchased with the free coupon. It was great while it lasted…but it’s still a great B1G1 deal.

In regards to register rewards questions….. More often than not you can use multiple register rewards on one transaction; however, you cannot use more than one RR from the same manufacturer (the name is on the RR). If they are from different manufacturers, than have at it!

I hate to hear that some of you are having issues with WG cashiers who are not willing to work with you to help you all get great deals. Not all of us are like that!

Good luck to you all and happy shopping!

    • Jennifer

Oh hey y’all! One more thing…be sure to check out the deal on the refillable ink cartridges. Normally, they are $10 for b/w and $15 for color, but right now they are $7.50 for all, and there is a rebate which makes it free. I’m not sure what the limit is on the refill/rebate deal, but it’s worth looking into!

    • Debbie

Jennifer, so nice to hear from an employee and so helpful. I had actually planned to use 2 RR from the same manufacturer tomorrow and now I know I need to break that into 2 transactions, which will mean I will not get all “mixed up” at the cashier and aggravate them! thanks so much!

    • Debbie

Oh, a friend said there is a special on Tylenol with RR this month but I don’t see it in the flyer. Does anyone know about this and there is a $1 Q in the Easysaver on Tylenol and I bet I can round up a manufacturer Q to use also. Does anyone know if there is a RR w/ it and has anyone used this yet with success?

    • Lori

The coke rewards code is expired. Sorry for anyone who really needed a coke while shopping this week. :(

    • Carolin:
There were two types of Huggies coupons. The first set were for any Huggies Gentle Care ($5) or Natural Fit ($3) product. The second set were for any Huggies Gentle Care Diapers ($5) or Natural Fit Diapers ($3) product. If your coupon says “diapers” then you can’t use them for wipes. However, if you scored the first set of coupons that don’t specify “diapers” then you can use them on wipes.

    • Megan

I heard that the Easy Saver program at Walgreens was stopping after this month. Do you know if this is true?

      • Jenny

It sounds like it is true, the rumors seem validated by a lot of workers. We’ll just have to wait until the end of the month to see for sure though.

    • Megan

Thank you for all you do.
      I have a question?
I went my Wags to try to attempt the RR deals…which I had never done before, i have mainly been a grocery coupon user…They told me that I COULD NOT roll over my RR if I tried to use a RR to pay for my items the Catalina would not printout my new RR. Is this a common issue at some Wags? or just my particular wags? we have others in the area I can try, but wondered if you had ever heard of it before?

      Thanks Megan

      • Jenny

Megan this is a common thing that is told to Walgreens shoppers but it is not necessarily true. Read the Tips and Tricks link at the top of the post to get all the details.

    • Gwenn

I went to Wags last night and was able to get the Coke deal B1G1 and two free candy bars. Sweet !!
really!! Also I found the shave gel on clearance for $2.59 and got a $3 RR. The Glade candles are wonderful (and free) with my coupons. I bought a few more of the sale items and after RR and coupons my total was $2.63 Retail I think was around $35. I love this stuff. I have gotten addicted. Most of what I get for free or nearly free I donate to ministries from my church or even local animal shelters.

    • Julie

I have clicked on both links for the Pepsi deal and they both say the same thing “no prints available for this campaign.” Am I doing something wrong?

    • Hillary

Brita Pitcher on sale $14.99 – use $4 off coupon in RP 3/29
Brita Replacement filters $14.99 – use $1 off coupon in RP 3/29
      (might be regional?)

    • Sarah

The Wags in Germantown, TN _there are several -is more than happy to have customers use RR’s. The assistant manager even asked me to tell friends about my great 75% discount by using MC and RR’s. The only goof I made was to buy only a Soft Soap body wash with my last transaction – an additonal RR did not print out – should have read this blog before trying that deal – see above to buy at least 2 things. Also, I asked the Mgr about using more than 1 rr per transaction; she said if you read the fine print, it says 1 per. Since I never come home with one – make sure to spend, I can’t vouch for that – can someone verify?

    • Angela

is there a limit on the softsoap? I thought the ad reads limit 1 coupon printed per offer.

    • Wendy

O.K. correct me if I’m wrong. I went into Walgreens and purchased an Edge Shaving cream with a $2RR I received from the Chapstick I bought yesterday, and paid the additional $.49. My RR did not print and the manager said it was because I paid for it with a RR. I politely said that I’ve done it before and it still printed. She said it must have been a mistake and it will not print. I should have known better than to go into that store–I ALWAYS have trouble with them. They do not know how it works—but unfortunately, it’s the one closest to my house.

I’m thinking of returning it tomorrow–but someone said I could call the Catalina Co. and still get it. That sounds like a lot of hassle.

Also, the Softsoap is still printing isn’t it? Just not continuously? I also purchased one of those and didn’t get my free one, again, the mgr said because I used a RR. GRRRRR!!!

    • Amy

Hello, I am new to this and it all looks really amazing. However, it is also a little deceiving!! If you look at the example from above:

      (1) Chapstick $1.99
      (1) Glad Trash Bags $6.99
      -$1 off Glad printable
      Total Due: $7.98
      Get Back: $1.99 & $1 RR’s, makes it $4.99

      (4) Pepsi 12 packs 4 for $12
      (2) Quaker Cereals
      B2G1 Pepsi printable
      (2) -$1 off Quaker Cereal
      -$1.99 RR
      -$1 RR
      Total Due: $9.01
      Get Back $3 & $2 RR’s, makes it $4.01

This illustration make it look as though you got all these items for $9.00. However, the $1.99RR and the $1RR from the first purchase can’t be used to make it $4.99 (you still pay $7.98). It also shouldn’t be illustrated this way because you are crediting the 1.99RR and the 1RR to both transactions. Ultimately it should look like this:

      (1) Chapstick $1.99
      (1) Glad Trash Bags $6.99
      -$1 off Glad printable
      Total Due: $7.98
      Get Back: $1.99 & $1 RR’s for later use

      (4) Pepsi 12 packs 4 for $12
      (2) Quaker Cereals
      B2G1 Pepsi printable
      (2) -$1 off Quaker Cereal
      -$1.99 RR (From previous transaction)
      -$1 RR (From previous transaction)
      Total Due: $9.01
      Get Back $3 & $2 RR’s, for later use

      Total spent:$16.99
      Total RR’s for next trip: $3RR & $2RR

Not trying to burst any bubbles just know some people who would head off to the store with $10 in hand not realizing that it won’t cover the transactions.

Please don’t misunderstand this comment!! I think this website is fabulous and am thankful that I found it!! Just wanted to offer some clarity!!

    • Lori

I contacted Walgreens about the possible end of the EasySaver program. Here is their response. Bummer!

Thank you for contacting us regarding our recent decision to evaluate the EasySaver program in its current form. Walgreens is always looking into the future. For this reason, we are looking
at ways to revamp the rebate program to assist us in proceeding in an exciting direction. Although change is always intimidating we feel that it is time to develop a new loyalty program so we can offer our
consumers new and improved services. You will continue to find the EasySaver Catalog in our stores through April. Please look for future advertisement regarding our new programs to come.

      To Wendy and Megan –

My Walgreens will not print RR when you pay with RR. I even called the Catalina company and they told me that you can’t pay with RR and get RR. My Walgreens also wouldn’t print RR because I used a mfg or store coupon. I called Catalina and they said that is not right, that I should still get RR. They said they are going to mail them to me. Now I don’t use coupons for RR items, and I just shop the sale items.

A quick question about B1G1 at Walgreens. I was told today that I couldn’t use two coupons for the two sets of napkins i got (with the B1G1). I also had a glad bags coupon and a $4 RR from a week or so ago.

I handed her the glad coupon, 2 napkin coupons and then the RR coupon. I got ‘beeped’ when she tried to scan the RR coupon (it was the last one she scanned). Then, she voided all of them and put the RR in first, glad coupon, and then i got ‘beeped’ on the 2nd napkin coupon. She told me that b/c i was getting the 2nd one free, i couldn’t use two coupons. But when she had first rung it up (in a different order), both napkin coupons had been accepted.

Either this is their policy (no coupons on a ‘G1’ item) or there is a problem in the system when you have more coupons than items?

The assistant manager came up and said, look, i can’t override the problem. By that time my child was about to scream down the place, so I didn’t pursue further. Just wondering for the future what is correct/in accordance with their policies?

      Thanks! Really enoying your site!

      Hello, ladies.

I’ve noticed several of you mention contacting Catalina if your RR didn’t print. I bought Edge gel today and it didn’t print my $3 RR.

Today was my first time working the coupon angle @ WAG and I was so excited over getting the glucose meter free and buying the ChapStick and then the Q for the Crest plus the $2 RR that I didn’t catch it in my second transaction (used the Crest Q plus the $2 RR for the Edge…does this make a difference) that my RR didn’t print.

Does anyone have the contact info for Catalina? Also, once I do contact them, what will I need to be ready to provide to make it go smoothly? Thanks.

I just wanted to say that I bought, on two separate occasions, the Edge gel… and didn’t get an RR. Neither time did I use and RR or a MC for the transactions. The first time, I thought it was a just the WG.. but after going to a different store, I figured it was just my area. There was nothing in the store that said I’d get a RR for the shaving gel.

      Any ideas?
