Grocery Store Policies

Buy One Get One Free Competitor Coupons Doubling Other
Aldi Not a common sale type. Does not accept them. Does not double coupons. Does not accept any coupons.
Bi-Lo (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Accepts them. Most double coupons 60¢ or less. Some double up to 99¢. Competitors accepted will vary by stores.
Commissary (corporate policy) Not a common sale type (if ever). Accepts Walgreens register rewards. Does not double. Look for military coupons throughout the store.
Dollar General (corporate policy) Not a common sale type. Does not accept them. Does not double. Load eCoupons on their web site.
Earth Fare (corporate policy) Occasionally.  Must buy both items to get the sale price. Does not accept them. Does not double. Load eCoupons on their web site.
Food City (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Does not accept them. Does not double. Join various clubs for extra coupons: baby, kids, pet, or wine.
Food Lion (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Some stores accept, check with your store. Does not double. Look for coupon printers machines as you enter the store.
Harris-Teeter (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Accepts them. One per customer per day. Doubles coupons 99¢ or less. Up to 20 coupons are doubled per day. Sign up for their e-VIC and Fresh Catch newsletters for added sales and discounts on your shoppers card.
Harvey's (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Does not accept them. Doubles coupons 50¢ or less.
Ingles Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Does not accept them. Doubles coupons that are 50¢ or less. Three coupons for every $10 spent will double. Sign up for their Advantage Mail newsletter for added discounts and sales.
Kroger (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Does not accept them. Most stores do not double coupons. Make sure they have your address to get home mailers. eCoupons give you extra options for coupons. They cannot be used with paper coupons.
Lowes Foods (corporate policy) Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Accepts them. Doubles coupons 99¢ or less. Up to 20 coupons are doubled per day. Load eCoupons straight to your savings card.
Publix (corporate policy) In most stores, each items rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal. Accepts them. Does not double. Sign up for eCoupons.
Publix in Florida (corporate policy) Must buy both items to get the sale price. Coupons can be applied to both items. Accepts them. Does not double. Sign up for eCoupons.
Walmart (corporate policy) Not ever used in local sales. Accepts coupons that have a final price listed on them. Does not double. Prices matches online competitors only.
Whole Foods (corporate policy) Must buy both items to get the sale price. Coupons can be applied to full-priced item. Accepts them. Does not double. Additional store policies may apply at store level.
Winn-Dixie (corporate policy) Must buy both items to get the sale price. You are allowed a coupon on both items. Does not accept them. Areas in Alabama and Georgia double coupons 50¢ or less. Florida locations do not double. Load eCoupons on their website.

Balance Rewards Card in stores or register online.

How It Works:

Register Rewards print after you buy eligible items. They are manufacturer coupons and can be used on your next purchase with a few "rules".
