Covergirl Lash Blast deal won’t work unless your store has early activation. The expiration date of the $3 mq is 3/26 not 3/28.

      • Thanks for letting me know. Not sure why I had the wrong expiration dates for the entire flyer. I fixed it and took all of those off. The $4 printable is a match too for any lashblast types so that’s even better!

        • VP22

P&G makes their insert dates too confusing now. I just wish they would all last the entire month.

    • towana cox

went and got 3 charmins 1 nut and 1 paper towel used coupons it was 14.19 got 10.00 back in bucks get deals for 4.19 thanks jenny

      • I’m headed for the same deal today!!

        • kim

Would you explain this deal please?

    • April Carroll

I can find the Yes To coupon with the link.

      • The coupon may have met its limit. I am not seeing it either.

    • Jess

Our CVS store/ad does not include Little Remedies fever reducer- only gripe water and gas drops. :(

      • Sorry! Some ads and stores are different depending on location. I hope you were able to find some other great deals.

    • dawg4

The Olay offer would apply towards the $15 P&G Beauty rebate wyb $50 or more. I was able to buy two Olay for $19.99 each, and the cashier let me use a $10 off wyb $40 facial products (CVS coupon), $10 ECB, $5 off Olay (CVS coupon), $3 off mfg coupon, and counts toward the $15 off P&G rebate. (I bought 3 Pantene hair products, also which will count towards the rebate.) It is free once I file the rebate.

      • VP22

Just a heads up, the P&G rebate is spend $50 “after” coupons.

      • Birgit Gilbert

Where do you get the rebate form?

    • Jill

Is there a special zip code for the Charmin and Bounty $1.00 printables? It is not coming up when I click on the link.

      • Sometimes on these coupons they reach the limit and then the coupon is no longer available to print. Hope this helps.

    • Jill

Beware – the Old Spice body wash is only 2 scents – 2 of which my store only had 1 bottle of! Very frustrating!

      • That is frustrating! I hope other stores had more in stock.

    • Kim

The Zantac Rebate form says it is for 50 or 60 ct. The CVS sale is on 65 or 80 count.

      • Thanks so much for the update on this!

        • EDinNC

I found the corrected rebate form. Exactly the same, except corrected to “Any ONE (1) Zantac 65ct or 80ct”.

          • Diane Ailor

            Where is the corrected form?

    • jeanie

I’ve had trouble using 6 off 30 coupons. I have spent 35.00 before tax ,but the last 2 times I’ve been told it’s because I’ve used coupons and total after is way under 30. I always give them 6/30 coupon first. So far they’ve let me use it but with hassle.

      • According to the coupon policy, those coupons do not require the purchase to be above $30. They have made a lot of computer changes so they may have to force it through. Hope this helps.

    • Thank you so much for passing this along. Sounds like you got a great deal on those products!

    • Pamela Dawson

Did I miss something? Why isn’t the Tide pods and Gain fling deal for $3.94 on here. With the $2 coupon, it makes them $1.94.

      • Hey There! Thanks for the heads up. I have added the deal and the coupon. Hope this helps.

    • DBB

With this new store format, the comments from last week and this week are listed here. Makes it confusing.

      • Hey there! Thanks for your comment. I will start deleting some of the old comments so that it is easier to find all the information you need. Hope this helps!

    • Angiec

      LOVE the new format!

      • Thanks!

      • pnew

        Agree!!

    • sandyc215

I haven’t received my usual Thursday coupon from CVS for the last couple of weeks. Two possibilities: they have not sent me one, or my aggressive spam filter is rejecting it. Could someone post the sending address for their mail so that I can get it white-listed in my filter?

      • This is where my emails come from: email@extracare.cvs.com I got a $4 off $20 last Thursday.

        • sandyc215

          Thank you, Jenny!

      • GUEST

USUAL Thursday coupon??? How do you get these? The only one’s I get are 30 percent off regular prices when you purchase online. Lucky for you guys.

        • sandyc215

I am only guessing, but you could try getting a new card, registering it and making sure they have your email address (and it is not blocked by your spam filter). I don’t know how they decide who gets what; I have been buying diapers for the new grandbaby for a year, but never get any baby coupons that Jenny sees on occasion from CVS.

      • Holly

I got one last week but not this week :( my sis in law didn’t get one this week either. I did get a 30% off beauty on Saturday

    • Sonia

I just went to CVS to do the following deal and almost all my manufacturer’s coupons were “rejected”. I checked all the dates and descriptions on all the coupons before going. I have never had this happen to me before when combining IN-app coupons with manuf coupons. Did anyone else have this issue? The cashier was not very helpful so it may have just been her being lazy, but would like to see if there is an error in my thinking before I try another CVS.

      Maybelline baby lips $4.49ea x 2
Use: CVS in app coupon $2
      2 x $1 MAN coupons
      Extra 35 pack gum $2.99
      Use: CVS paper coupon $1
      $0.75 MAN coupon
      Venus cartridges 4ct $16.99
Use: CVS in app coupon $4 off $10 razors
      $3 MAN coupon
      Garnier Fructis shampoo AND conditioner
Use: CVS email/in app coupon $2 off Beauty (incl. hair care)
      $2 + $1 Garnier Fructis MAN coupons
      Gold Emblem chips $1
Use: CVS in app coupon $1

I also used a $6 OFF $30 coupon and $9 Extra Bucks from last week (these both scanned fine). Total should have been $2.21 but was ringing up at over $12.

      • cheryl

What do you mean by rejected? Did the cpns not scan? Looks like they all match to me.

    • Mary

I took the Zantac quiz but I don’t see the coupon

      • That is frustrating. It should have come up. Perhaps they are out of them.

    • Jodi

I’m in Savannah Ga and for some reason my sunday inserts do not match up, example I do not have L’Oreal coupons or the Ajax? any ideas why? I’m having so much trouble. It was so much better couponing in the Atlanta area :-/

      • amywindland

Not all coupons come out in all areas. There are regional Q’s meant for certain areas. I get terrible selection here in Columbia, SC. So, I order Q’s from online vendors with better zips.

        • Jodi

what would be a good vender to buy from? and Thank you

          • Danyeln

I swear by CouponBeat dot com. You can buy whole inserts or clipped coupons and she has reasonable handling fees. Most of her inserts are from the Nashville area and are much better than what I get here in Montgomery.

    • Holly

just a heads up the p&g head and shoulders 3$/2 and the 2.50 huggies coupon that expired yesterday are being excepted. Also if you have the phone app the 3$ off babycare ie shampoo/wash ect. Worked when I bought diapers!?

    • Sonia

Can I use a 10% off regular priced items, as well as a $6 off $30 coupon in the same transaction?

      • Hey there! It depends on the store but you usually can. Hope this helps.

    • Lauren

If I do the advil deal and buy 5, to get the $10 ECB’s you have to spend $30 on advil. Buying 5 is only 29.95, tax will bring it above $30. Will ECB’s still be issued?

      • dawg4

        yes.

      • Paula Hughes

CVS in Tallahassee would not do it for me – I was buying the All Detergent and the total was 29.90 and it had to be $30.00 – I had to buy another one! So it probably depends on your CVS.

    • Brenda Owens

Please tell me how I can get the app only savings. I checked my app on my phone but could not find it. Thank you

      • soundring

They won’t be available to load to your card until the sale starts Sunday.

    • emileee

Are the CVS app only savings good for only one item?

    • Gina

Is anybody having issues using coupons at CVS? It seems to be harder to use them. Some of the CVS coupons will not come off til the end. I have lost some coupons/money with them kicking out at the end. Frustrating for the cashier and me. Sometimes the cashier can see what has happened and is able to fix the problem but it takes so much time.

      • brencoup

yep happened to me.. i had a 5 off 25 that they said was not working. what?It ws sent to my email same as other coupon they sent me. of course the 2.00 dollar off coupon worked.

      • Sonia

Same here… often the register will give an error something along the lines of “coupon more than cart value” even though I have a $20+ OOP balance. Many cashiers try and re organize the order of the coupons so it rings up correctly but some either don’t know how or can’t be bothered. There have been cases where they are so rude I simply give up and go to another CVS.
Also some of their sales have been misleading lately… the ALL Schick
razors from last week and ALL Gillette and Venus shave products from
this week have not actually included ALL products (realized once I
didn’t get my ECB). They have also been terrible about stocking the sale items lately, and I often have to find “alternative” products which is a big pain when I have my trip all planned out! Plus the CVS by my house seems almost never marks the sale items appropriately so it’s a guessing game when I go to the register.

I still think you can score some great deals at CVS, hence why I still go, but they need to step it up.

    • Jamie

On Saturday 4/23 I bought only items in the spend 30 get 10EB deal and spent 38.29. I used Mfr Q’s and EB to pay for about $15 worth. It did not produce my $10 EB’s. I called CVS Extracare today and they told me that it was because the total had to be $30 after Mfr Q’s and EB. I have never had this problem in the past. As long as your items totaled $30 or more before Q’s and EB you would get the 10 EB’s. Has the policy changed or are they wrong about why they didn’t print? (I think it could be because they changed the prices, etc at $4.00 on Sat. but don’t know why CVS Extracare people would tell me what they did).

      • Birgit Gilbert

ECB should not count as coupons.

    • Nora Fowles

      What is app only?

      • tori729

I think it’s talking about if you have the app, the coupon is available there.

    • Vickie

I have been very disappointed in CVS lately. Deals have changed.
Instead of $10 off $30 purchase, it is $5 off $20 most of the time.
Each coupon is scrutinized even the ones from CVS! No problem using
ECB but anything else is likely not to be accepted! No longer do I receive by mail or email 20% or 30% off you total purchase! Coupon
shopping has become very difficult at CVS!

      • tori729

Yes. Ever since they got new registers now you have to take off ecbs last and can’t undo them, etc. I only shop there MAYBE monthly if even that nowadays.

    • tori729

If you get a $/$$ coupon – do NOT send it to your card! I did that and my total had to be the full amount AFTER coupons NOT before! And I couldn’t undo it. It was dumb.

    • julieinGA

I have a question about the upcoming Colgate deal. The ad lists Colgate MAX but the coupon you are pairing it with is for Optic White. Max is not listed on the coupon. Are you sure this is a good match? Just asking. Thanks for all you do, Jenny!

    • Tamara

Hi Jenny! I believe the math may be wrong on the pampers scenario. I’m doing it quickly, but you may want to recheck! :)

      • Tamara

        OOPS. Nevermind.

    • tori729

Soo – I went back through and totally missed the moneymaker deal on the rinse! I hope it works, but it doesn’t even have an acorn so I didn’t see it the first time!

    • Katy

I did the pampers/household buy $20 get $5 eb this morning and I got $10 eb instead of $5. I bought 2 pampers and 2 dawn dish detergents.

    • Cindy Duncan Jones

My CVS ad has the Extra bucks on Irish Spring Body wash as only $1. ??

      • Yukiea

My ad here in Greenville, SC says $1 ECB on Irish Spring body wash/bars as well

        • Hey there! Sometimes the deals are different depending on location. I hope you were able to find some good ones!

    • Kim

I have a 30% off coupon, can anyone help me understand when the discount would be applied? I know not on sale items but I think you can use it if the item(s) have ECB but are at regular price. Is that correct? I usually try to split my purchases up so I can get ECB and use them on the next transaction. Thanks

      • js

Kim that is the way it should work. If you get a cashier who tells you otherwise, nicely ask them to go ahead and scan it anyway to check. IDK if different stores vary, but my store applies the % coupon on items that yield ECBs. Good luck!

      • Delores

I was told if an item has ECB it is considered a sale item so I could not use a percent off that states not on sale items.

    • Samantha

On the upcoming Buy 2 of Gillette, Venus razor AND cartridges get $10 extrabucks® rewards, is that buy two Gillette or Venus Razor and cartridge? Or, does it mean buy 2 Gillette or Venus items with one of them being a cartridge?

    • hijo

The coupon is for 8 oz. and up. The sale item is the 7.5 oz bottle.

    • s

Persil coupon isn’t valid for size that is on sale.

    • hijo

Gillette offers no longer available at Checkout 51.

      • js

This one has been resetting each week, so you might be able to get it again after Thursday if it continues being renewed.

    • Danyeln

I am starting to get tired of being stuck in the land of the limited sale at CVS. It seems like the few items I actually want each week are never included in my area. Makes me wonder how they decide which sales to run where.

      • VP22

My favorite manager at CVS told me that CVS was testing shorter ads. They picked 6 states, including mine, to test to see if the sales would change if the ads were shorter. The part that sucks for us is that he said, for the most part, sales have stayed about the same in areas with these ads which means CVS is considering shorter ads everywhere.

        • Danyeln

Well at least then we wouldn’t be taunted by deals we can’t have I guess.

          • VP22

            Your comment made me feel better. I was thinking the same thing. In this case, misery does love company ;-}

    • Rick Anchia

Is the $5 Zantac CVS coupon still available? I clicked on the link and there is no coupon on the CVS website.

      • Nancy

I haven’t been able to find the Zantac coupon either. I completed the quiz referenced but didn’t receive coupon.

    • Wilto

Debrox coupon link gives an error but just google Debrox coupon and i will take you to the right page.

    • LeLu23

The Garnier Sheer Set hairspray was not included in the ECB deal at my CVS.

    • Shawnita

      Im a little confused
In the CVS ad it states the Colgate Total or Optic White
( excludes 3.5 oz and multipacks).

    • Lifeisgood

When did the $4 off $10 razor purchase come out? I didn’t get it for the past 2 weeks.

      • Arrowood Jamie

Not everyone gets the same store coupons.

    • Allyson

Did anyone try to do the PG deal more than once? I know it says limit 1, but sometimes it says one and you can do it twice.

      • Shannon

I haven’t done it twice, but am planning on it since I noticed on my receipt after my purchase that the offer was not met.

      • Arrowood Jamie

It’s three. It’s not rolling so u have to do it in $20 increments

    • Kristin S.

On another site, the 6/5 ad says the diapers are buy one get one 1/2 off plus the $10 ecb wyb $30. Anyone know if this is true?

      • You are right. I missed that when I typed the ad. It makes for a much better price!

    • TJ Byrd

CVS will no longer take expired coupons! The corporation is coming down hard on stores that take them. The stores also losing $$$ every time they take them. Also, stores are having to limit practically everything because people come in and clear the shelf using multiple extra care cards. I have seen stores already out of stock as early as Sunday because they start the sale on Saturday. It really takes the fun out of couponing when you have to drive to multiple stores! And no, I could not use my expired coupons I had for Pampers this morning
Please do us all a favor and get rid of your neighbor’s, cousin’s, mom’s, grandparent’s, children’s and grandchildren’s cards! One card per household, that’s all!!!!!

      • VP22

CVS stores have been making a lot of changes lately. My stores never took expired coupons anyway and luckily it’s a rare occasion for me to run across a shelf clearer.

      • Brandy

I use my mom and grandmother’s card for diapers, but that is only because I have a 3 month old and I never clean the shelves. It’s really no different if I get them or if I ask them to get them for me. Just keeps me from having to get them back from them and pay them back. Diapers is also the only thing I use their cards for.

        • I have 2 kids in diapers and ONLY buy CVS Huggies when there is a deal, and I’ve NEVER had to use multiple cards to get enough diapers. I currently have so many that I will probably have to donate them because PT’ing will come first. I know everyone is different, but the Huggies diaper deal comes almost every 3 weeks, and you have to buy 4 packs to make it work. That’s more than 1 pack of diapers per week.

          • Brandy

Well I didn’t say I do it every time they are on sale, but when the sale is good enough I have. I hardly ever do it with all 3 cards though. It would have to be an amazing deal for me to do that. It’s not always 4 packs to make it work…Just like the deal above, you only need 3 to make it work. We send a pack every week to daycare and go through almost a whole pack at home, so just getting 3 – 4 packs a month wouldn’t work for us. Plus, some months the sale and coupons are better than others. I do those times when I can get high dollar coupons, like this week I have a $6/30, $5/25, and $2.50 huggies coupons, so I will do the deal on my card and my moms. I also have ECBS to roll.

    • Shawn

Can someone explain how you are supposed to print these coupons like the colgate where you have to enter a number and receive a SMS text? If you are trying to print from a computer you have no number to enter and I tried to have it sent to my phone and then enter that code on the computer and it didn’t work.

      • JS

        Shawn-
You put in your cell number in the box and hit submit. Then you’ll receive a text. You have to open the text to see the code- then enter that into the box and hit submit again.

Make sure you’re not entering the “sent from” number that precedes the text- I did that the first time, thinking THAT was the code.

      • GUEST

If you look at the bottom there is a place to check to bypass entering your cell number. Works for me every time. I’d rather not give any more personal info or phone numbers than I have to. Not worth the coupon.

    • Gina

CVS has made some changes at the register in my area of Northwest Georgia where I shop. I am finding that I lose a dollar or fifty cents in many transactions lately. I know this doesn’t sound like much but my whole purpose of using coupons, shopping for deals, and shopping at CVS is to save money. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

    • Corky

Callahan, FL Cvs never took expired coupons and hardly ever had empty shelves. But now we have new manager and the shelves are ALWAYS EMPTY!! Especially on “free” item weeks!!!! I believe the empty shelve is more of a manager ordering issue than anything. I started going to my old managers store if I was in his area(additional 20 miles) to get the deals. Also notice every time I shopped with the old manager I got survey but not the first one with this new manager(been there 6 mnths) thank goodness the staff is mostly the same, or that store would be failing!!

    • Doris

I think the Suave/Dove hair care deal only works if you get the Dove Premium Hair Care, 2/$10. So, then it ends up being $1.25/item. Still not bad.

    • Lea Stuart

okay about 4 hours ago I prepared my whole CVS list and then got to the store and it was based on last weeks sales! ugh!! But it was okay I still got many deals over $60 worth of makeup and shampoos for around $27 and I still have $4 ECB to spend next time! when does the new ad list post so I don’t make the same mistake again?

      • Hey there! It posts on Thursday evenings. Be sure to look at the correct tab at the top of the page so from Thursday until Saturday night there will be 2 lists up. Sorry that happened to you.

    • Bev

It post on Thursdays but you have to watch the top of the page. It will show both this weeks ad dates and next weeks. Click on the header for next weeks ad and you should be good to go,

    • newbie

Anyone know the zip for the $3 off Pampers. That would be amazing! Thanks!

      • towana cox

all i can get is 1.50 i dont think you can change the zip now

      • tina

if you click the coupon in the deal idea above it took me to the $3 off. I am usually unable to find this coupon also but it just worked for me. I also went to the rite aid site and clicked printable coupons and it was there. I printed 2 times from each site (total of 4 times)

      • Aymee Rodriguez

        u can use 33971

    • SmoochTheCook

      I can’t find the $3 maybelline coupon.

      • VP22

Supposed to be in the 6/19 insert and probably available to print then too.

    • Emi

Money maker on L’Oreal if you buy:
      1 True Match Blush $10.99
      1 Brow Stylist $9.99
      1 Eyeliner $9.49

      Use (3) $1 off L’Oreal coupons (printable)
Use $10 off $30 any cosmetics (available in CVS app)
Use $3 off $10 any cosmetics (printing at red box)
      Get back $6 from Ibotta ($3, $2, $1)
      Get back $10 ECB

      $30.47-$3-$10-$3-$6-$10 = $1.53 money maker

      • hijo

Great deal, Emi, but I doubt that the system will let you use 2 coupons on ‘any’ cosmetic. It most likely will not give you the $10 off $30 if you use the printed $3 one. Different would be if you had a $3 off L’Oréal cosmetics and then use the $10 off $30.

        • Emi

I did it yesterday. I can’t promise that it will work everywhere, but it did work at my store. There is also a $3 bonus on Ibotta for redeeming 3 personal care rebates.

        • this_is_my_username

My store takes multiple dollar off store q’s. Only problem with the deal for me is that I don’t submit Ibotta.

    • jennifer rhoden

Anyone know if Kohls gift card is included in the ECB deal?

    • tori729

Anyone have any recent experience with getting expired ECBs reissued? I forgot to use mine this week and have $21 worth. Two stores I called in my area said they can’t take them anymore but Extracare should be able to reissue them straight to my card. However, I remember that they have said they can reissue the quarterly types but not the ones you earn from buying things.

      • Amanda

I called last week and they reissued mine with no problems. I told them the amounts and expiration dates and that helped them look up the ECB in their system quicker.

      • Rebecca

Our store manager allows us to use ours for about a week after expiration. He allows it, but some of the cashiers don’t. It depends on how long they’ve been working there, usually. Some don’t know how to do it, I guess? I imagine it’s just a courtesy that some stores extend and some don’t. HTHs

      • Alex

My store has told me 2 different things. 1 cashier told me they take expired ECB up to 14 days after and 1 told me forever.

    • hijo

When I add the Garnier Whole Blends to my shopping list on the CVS site, it states that the Whole Blends start at $4.99. Nowhere does it state that they are $3.00. So, no freebie here.

      • Joyce

They are $4.99 each, I checked my store today.

    • kaoscasa

Men’s razors must have gold in their handles. They are outrageously expensive even when on sale!!

      • Rebecca

        I KNOW!!!

    • Holly

Does anyone know if the Procter & Gamble deal will be able to be done more than once? I am thinking last time it was a limit 2. Thanks.

      • towana cox

my add says limit 1 but i just done it my cvs ticket says limited not reached . but i just got my xb 10.00 may try again this week

        • Julie

I was able to do it twice even though the ad said limit 1. The bottom of my first receipt said $30 toward reward and then $30 needed to earn reward. After the second time, it said $60 and offer limit reached.

          • towana cox

im going to try again this weekoh thank-you

    • Hazelsgdaughter

My CVS hasn’t had Venus razors for $6.99 for the last several sale cycles. Does anyone have them for that price?

      • My store has them for $8.99!! Have not been $6.99 for years! Unless the add specifically states they are on sale for a lower price!

      • In my store they are the ones with the paper backing (not a big plastic box around them). They are $7.19 for me, but the price differs by store.

    • dawg4

My CVS ad, shows Spend $10, get $5 ECB wyb any Sally Hansen products. (Not spend $15, get $5 ECB, as shown above)

    • Birgit Gilbert

I did not see a dulcolax rebate

      • BethMc

I believe the rebate will show up on their website starting Saturday night/Sunday morning, or once the ad begins.

        • Birgit Gilbert

Thank you, got it. That was helpful.

    • Sharon

Has anyone done the $10 ECB WYB $30.00 of P&G more than once?

    • hijo

The 7/10 ad shows 2 ECB wyb 2 Speedstick deodorant sticks. So they are not free but $1.00 each after coupon and ECB (scenario / transaction # 2)

    • Beverly McGee

Has anyone had problems with getting your money from your saving star account/ I was notified June 21st that it had been sent to my pay pal. It was for 95.00 and still is not in my paypal and cant get reply email answered from saving star. Any suggestions?

      • Ashleigh Stoia

Is your paypal account associated with a business? If so, I had a similar issue with Ibotta and could never recover the funds. I switched to a personal paypal account and haven’t had any issues since then.

    • christina

I cant seem to find all the cvs app deals you have listed, I have looked on the app but don’t see them

      • BethMc

They don’t show up until the day the ad starts.

    • Erin Hedge

Anyone having and issue adding the app only coupon for Coke or Dr Pepper? Will they accept you showing them the app as the coupon?

    • Marianna Gonzales

Neutrogena was not included in my store for the $10ECB for $20 personal care purchase.

    • Marianna Gonzales

In my ad, some Nabisco items are BOGO at $2.49. If you still have B2G1 coupons, you can use two and get 6 nabisco packs for just $2.49!

    • Lori

The CVS coupon for Duo Fusion printed as a manufacturer coupon so you can’t use both on that transaction.

      • kim9507

Mine didn’t it said CVS Coupon, I used both and got $1.01 overage.

    • Lori

I found a $5 CVS coupon for Duo Fusion on their website ;)

    • Carrie

I went yesterday and got two Colgate Optic White Toothpaste ($10.58 at my store) and it did not generate the $5ecb. I looked in the sale paper and it says select Colgate Total products. Did I do something wrong or is this region to region?

      • VP22

I believe she just made a mistake. The deal is select Colgate Total. Optic White was not included. Anytime you want to see what all products are included in a deal, go to the CVS website and click myWeekly Ad (top of the page). You can put in your zip code to make sure deals are in your area. You can also click on a deal and it will show you all items that included in that deal.

      • I think I got it all fixed. I’m sorry for the error. In the ad when they say colgate products I don’t always have a way to know what is or isn’t included in that. Checking the online ad like @VP22:disqus mentioned is a great idea though.

    • JS

I got two Scope mouth washes for $3.79 each. Used two $0.50 manu coupons and $2/$6 store coupon printed at the store and I also had a $2/$6 coupon on my CVS app that I was able to apply. So I paid $2.58 and received $8 ECBs!

    • Cyndi

I went to CVS yesterday (Knoxville) and noticed that their computer system is now ringing items up differently. I bought two deodorants. The price was 2/$7. The first one rang up at $4.99 and the second one rang up at $2.01. It’s no big deal if you are buying two and you use regular cents off coupons (or no coupons), but I had a B1G1 free coupon so it only took off $2.01. And now when something says x/$, you have to buy x to get the sale pricing. I don’t know when CVS started doing this, but I don’t like it!

      • towana cox

i did the same thing yesterday but mind came off 3.50 dont know how i got lucky

      • Marianna Gonzales

it must depend on the cashier or maybe store. Usually mine take off the full price one rather than the cheaper or sale price, or in the deo deal case then they did the max the coupon allowed (I think it was $4.29).

      • cheryl

        I had the same problem!

      • Arrowood Jamie

They have new pricing. It’s been this way for a few months now.

      • pdnr

I would contact corporate and complain. I know CVS has often had a requirement that you actually buy 2 in order to get the 2/$7 but they would still ring up as $3.50 each. In the future, I would also stop the clerk and see if he/she can correct it themselves.

    • Arrowood Jamie

They have a new coupon policy. No expired anything now. Not even ecb. New return policy. They needed to do that to stop all the fraud. We will lose ecb if we return items. Starts August 20th

      • pdnr

I used to buy a lot since I was told they would accept expired ECB’s. First, one store told me that but made a one time exception to accept $20 to $30 of expired ECB’s I had when I about panicked. Now, a second store near me has told me that. I’ll be buying much less if I have to use an ECB in 30 days.

        • iva

My CVS clerk yesterday, told me to save my expired CVS extra bucks, contact corporate and they would reissue them. Has anyone does this.

          • Jo

Corporate will not reissue expired ECBs anymore. I found out when I called. If you don’t use ecbs in time you loose.

    • Bev

I am having to really watch for the correct # of cvs coupons to be verified. For the last month at least one did not come off my total. Last week I didn’t even get the .25 off dawn .That one was in their ad and I printed it at their machine right before I purchased it. Also did not get the 2/2 colgate toothpaste. They said they are having big problems with this. I now count how many I have and tell them to check before they close out the transaction.

      • Deanna

I’ve had the same thing happen. They have to put the coupons in the right order or else it voids out the coupon and they have to re-enter it, and always forget to re-enter at least one. It seems to happen more with the app coupons than any others. I’ve made a point of circling the app coupons I’m using when I get the store coupons printout from the coupon center when I go up to the register. It seems to help the clerks get it right, plus I have backup to show when something did not come off the receipt like it should have. My only frustration is that when they make a mistake, they don’t fix it the right way and just refund it out of the register.

      • boobear

You have to hand them the coupons individually or tell them, I have two of these, etc. That’s what I started doing. I wait until I see the coupon come off the total and then continue handing them my coupons. :) No more handing them a pile of coupons….

    • Heidi Winters Foster

If you’re a regular customer at CVS and aren’t quite sure what’s going on with your coupons. I highly recommend forming a bond with the store mgr and sales associates!! They can and WILL keep you updated on store policies regarding coupons. Renee (Love her!!) at my local CVS in GC, SC has recently informed me that they’re slowly phasing things out. Soon, it’ll be you have to purchase $X after coupons to get $X ECB. Just stay informed, be NICE to your associates. Let’s remember, we get all of this stuff for waaaaay cheaper than the average consumer (Often Free). Do we really need to BE Mrs. Cranky Pants?? Thanks for all you do Jenny!!! Good Luck ladies!!!

    • Betty Scruggs

Enjoy it while it lasts & FOLLOW THE RULES.Why should they take expired coupons ??? Rite Aid used to be great…then people began abusing the system…same w/ Publix….. Walgreens RRs always have expired too quickly for me & I don’t care much for those pts. systems…especially Rite Aid where you can’t use only SOME of your points…as a result I’m almost exclusively using CVS these days…and they are GREAT…they are accommodating and reasonable…just this once…please don’t ruin this for everyone…I am speaking to the “so-called” extreme couponers….the resellers…the shelf clearers…the defrauders…the rude complaining ungrateful and yes expired, “wrong item”, and limit exceeding coupon users. Not only do some of us NEED these savings, but you’re shooting yourselves in the foot…stop and consider “tomorrow” for once….you may do the same when considering the upcoming election and what happens to the future of the U.S. w/ an out of control debt, no one working..no one owning homes..gun ownership and religious freedoms threatened…and all so the “government” can take care of you ? Where do you think the $ comes from ? BE SURE to vote, but before you do check out countries like Venezuela and Russia….and when you coupon…be thankful…not wasteful or manipulative…for your and our sakes.

      • Jo

Abusing the system is wrong. With this policy in place CVS will not reissue expired ecbs too. I learned that today from CVS customer service who refuses to issue expired ecbs I have. it’s consumer fraud because I don’t shop there unless there’s a good sale. ECBs are good for a month and with no appealing sale at CVS, consumer loose. Customer should think twice about shopping there.

        • Ann

I called corporate and was told that too. They suggested I talk to the store manager. I went during the day, and spoke to the store manager. He honored them, this time. Make sure it’s THE store manager and not a shift manager..they don’ t have the authority!!

    • Karen McCormick

Was anyone able to use the 2$/2 coupons on the gold emblem abound nut bars? My CVS will not allow these when they are on sale for .99 because it goes 2 cents over the price. I have done this before with no problem. Then they started taking the actual price off instead of the amount on the coupon. Now they won’t let me use a coupon at all if it is more than the price of the item. They said there are new coupon rules and they can’t override the system anymore. Any comments on this?

      • Heather

What you have been told is the truth. The days of using personalized coupons (those that print out of the red box) for items on sale are over. ECBs can still be used, I believe, even if it is on an item on sale. Manufacturer coupons can still be used on items on sale.

        • MingoLeger

This is straight from their own new coupon policy: What happens when I want to use a coupon with a value that is higher than the
          amount I am purchasing?
You may still use the coupon; however, its value will drop down to the value of the amount
          you are purchasing.
          Example:
          • A $5 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value.
The $2/2 coupons for the 99 cent Gold Emblem nut bars were NOT printed out of the red box. These were CVS store specific internet printables, and my CVS accepted them just fine. The cashier simply manually deducted $1.98 instead of $2.00 – the actual price of two bars on sale.

          • Heather

I talked with the manager at my local CVS. He said,”Coupons on specific items should still work. Coupons that print out of the red box that are percentages off of items will not work if the items are on sale.” I am hoping this means it isn’t as bad as it seems. The ability to override is being taken away though. So, if a coupon doesn’t go through, they won’t be able to force it.

      • MingoLeger

I was able to use them. The cashier just had to enter the amount manually for $1.98 instead of 2.00 because the coupon amount can’t exceed the price of the item.

    • Arrowood Jamie

Jenny, Isn’t Olay bw spend $20 get five ecb starting 8/7/16? I looked three times for it. If I over looked it I am sorry.

    • wally b

heard all this new coupon policy is to get in line with Target !! This Stinks !!!

    • iva

I received a CVS 25% coupon in the mail. When I went to the register yesterday it did not take 25% off of any of my non sale items. I had over $50 in non sale items. The cashier said that they had a new coupon policy and some things were not ringing up with the new policy. I really think that she may have forgotten to scan the coupon. I asked her if she could do anything and she said she couldn’t. I even showed her on the receipt that it didn’t take anything off. I’m talking non sale items such as shampoo, hairspray, eye drops, etc. Since there was a line behind me, I didn’t do a return at the time, but came home and and went thoroughly through my receipt. Has anyone ever contacted corporate and sent them their receipt and got a refund? These are items I needed. I no longer have the coupon since it is at CVS. I called her back to see if she could get my coupon and save it and let me come back and her re-scan it. She said she couldn’t. Also, what is the procedure on getting expired extra bucks reissued by CVS.?She said that I could do that with the main company. Does the 25% off coupon that comes in the mail work on the $1 items in the $1 zone.

      • Coldmamajenn

Just contact corporate and when you fill out the information about your complaint/ question it asks for the store number and transaction number listed on your receipt. They use that to look up the transaction themselves. Tell them you gave her the coupon but don’t think she scanned it and she didn’t give it back to you, which I find weird since they always give back coupons they cannot scan, they can’t send them in so why keep them? Tell them you didn’t realize you couldn’t use expired ECB’s since they haven’t released anything saying that and you were going by their last policy update. They might do a one time reissue for those and tell you to be more careful if they are no longer taking expired ones. It sounds like she just didn’t want to deal with your issues and took advantage of the fact that you were embarrassed by the line. Any other questions that you have, ask corporate. I haven’t gotten a percentage off coupon in more than a year, so I have forgotten what the fine print says. Try to contact them as soon as possible. HTH.

        • iva

Thank you for responding. I did send an email to corporate this morning with all of the transaction numbers from the receipt. I really don’t think she scanned it. I usually watch them scan each receipt, but was watching the terminal screen. She told me she had to take all paper coupons before she could do the ones I wanted to use that were sent to my card. Not one item out of over $50 worth of non sale items were given 25% off. I have my receipt and products. If I can’t get anything done thru corporate I will do a return. I just won’t be able to use my 25% off for my needed items, especially my Systane Ultra gel eye drops which were around $16.00.

          • Coldmamajenn

Glad everything got taken care of!

        • towana cox

in v a they have put a big white card at all the reg. now about new policywe have got to watch close now

          • iva

Thanks. This was the regularly mailed CVS 25% off coupon. I was’t combining it with anything or on sale items, so it should have worked. The cashier could have accidentally not scanned it, or for some reason the bar code didn’t scan properly. The coupon wasn’t expired.

          • iva

I haven’t really been couponing there like I used to. What are the major differences in the policy now?

          • Coldmamajenn

In Asheboro, NC they don’t have any signs up and this website was the first place I had heard of the policy changing. I had just gotten used to using expired red box coupons within two weeks after they updated the policy a few months ago. But after reading comments here, I have cleared out all of mine. I wish they would release a statement instead of just putting up some signs and their staff saying it is changing. Official things make life easier!

      • towana cox

call corp they are very nice … my neice just said they was about to cheat her 25.00 in bucks it may the system today

        • iva

Did she call today? I sent an email today and got a reply that it would be forwarded to the correct dept. I didn’t call, thinking that corporate wasn’t open.

          • towana cox

she got it system was messed up all good

        • iva

Got it taken care on on the phone with corporate. Getting $24 in ECBs to make up for the 25% coupon not going through. She is giving me 25% of my total ($88) minus the paper coupons/card coupons. I’m actually getting a little more than what I lost by the 25% coupon not scanning the other day.

    • iva

Can you use the mailed CVS coupon for 25% off on the items in the Dollar Zone? My clerk said that I couldn’t. Just checking.

      • dawg4

No, I don’t think so. The price must be regular, full-priced (no BOGO’s) merchandise for the 25% off CVS store coupon to work. If the product is full-price but has ECB’s offer included, it should still take the 25% off. I would encourage you to really examine and read your entire store receipt from top to bottom. It will display “25% off applied” on each and every product that it was taken. If a similar in-store situation happens again, politely ask for the manager or supervisor, and step out of line to wait. The CVS mgr can “undo” the purchase and re-ring you up.
BTW, many STORE coupons come-up on their cash register (display monitors) when they scan your CVS reward card. Sometimes the 25% off offers are e-mailed and then able to be saved directly to your reward card. However, sometimes the offers are simply mailed in “snail-mail”, these will have your name & address attached to them, thereby allowing them to see that you did indeed submit it to the clerk when making your purchase. (another words, she could still find it in her coupon drawer).
CVS is making these changes to reduce coupon fraud (whether it’s done by the clerk or customer, unintentionally or not). Therefore, many store coupons will be highlighted on their registers as to whether they can apply them or not. If it doesn’t comply with the offer the clerk cannot apply it. (No overriding.) Hope this is helpful.

    • Heather

I went to CVS last night. The manager told me that % off coupons will not work if the item is already on sale but, he thought money off specific products would still work, even if they are on sale. ECBs should still work. I am hoping he is right.

    • Jamie Costello

When I checked the CVS ad online I don’t see the $5 ECB when you spend $20 in Babycare…

    • iva

Got my situation taken care of where my 25% off total coupon did not work at the register on Saturday.

      • t

        where the items on sale?

    • Paula Hughes

I wanted to get Arm and Hammer spinbrush and the deal says ” use $2 off, makes it 99¢” but the two coupons listed are both MC for $1
each – so where is the “$2 coupons?? Am I misunderstanding something?

    • dawg4

The Gillette Venus razor offer worked for me:
Bought 2 Swirl razors at $10.99 each and received the $10 ECB’s!! Unlike the ad, I didn’t have to buy the higher priced cartridges to make it work! Thanks for the tip!

      • That was my favorite deal this week by far!

    • Cassie Sprouse Padgett

I don’t always get the store coupons at the coupon center that are listed like I’ve been scanning my card weekly for the last month and have yet to get the store coupon on razors nor have I gotten a coupon for almay? Is this a regional thing or am I doing something wrong!!

      • Paula Hughes

Me either!! …. and i want it!

        • Then buy a razor one of these weeks when the ECB and MQ are a good enough deal.
They are tracking your purchases and your future coupons are based on your previous purchases. HTH.

      • Katie C.

Mine seems to give me the same coupons over and over, so I think it must be linked to what you normally buy there. Toothpaste, diapers, shampoo, and razors are typically what I always buy at CVS, and at any given time I almost always have those types of coupons on my CVS account. I don’t usually get most of the makeup coupons that others get, though, and I rarely buy it.

      • Crystal Goodwin

It definitely is based on what have bought in the past.
Anytime I go into CVS, I scan my card and my mother’s. Her coupons are usually alot different from the ones I get. I buy items across the board but she doesn’t. You can tell from her coupons the types of items that she buys. As for me, I’ll buy anything that’s cheap or free. I can always give it away or donation it.
However, no one gets all the coupons every week.

    • towana cox

      well i got 3.00 off a 12.00 razor today

    • Ashley Shirah

I went to CVS today and was planning to get the Schick Quattro razor deal, however, the price was different and there was no ECB offer for it. It wasn’t listed in the ad I picked up on the store either. The other items listed in your CVS weekly deals was the same. Is this just due to regional differences?

      • VP22

It was a regional deal. My area did not get it either.

    • Nat

Has anyone done the Roc deal? I think there was a similar deal last year and I recall having trouble because the manager said the facial cleanser didn’t count towards the ECB’s. Thanks!

      • VP22

You can go to the CVS website, click on MyWeeklyAd and then scroll down to the Roc deal, click more and it will tell you every product that is eligible for the deal.

      • Aaron Porter

it is part of the deal. It does happen sometimes when it is not but for this one it is.

    • Mel

Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Free Detergent 50 oz. is on sale for $1.99. Checkout 51 has a $1 off rebates (limit 5) making it 99 cents!!

    • towana cox

if you like almay this week i got 4 big pks of towelets for 6.46 use 2 printed 5.00 off coupons plus i used 3.00 off cosmetics was 19.46 took off 13.00 in coupons plus it added to my beauty bucks made them 1.61 a pk

    • bdmommy

Just a heads up that the Checkout 51 Venus offers for regular and disposables specifically say no other coupon can be used. My rebates were denied because I used the manufacture coupon.

    • bdmommy

If you purchased the Scott paper towels or toilet paper on Thursday thru today, there are Checkout 51 offers for $1 on each of those two items.

    • Renee Kimball-Mach

FYI, I tried using the $3.00 Almay coupon, $3.00 cover girl coupon and the $1.00 gal milk coupon today @ my CVS (I’m in South Florida), and they wouldn’t scan, so the clerk wouldn’t accept them. The Almay coupons had “Walgreens” printed on them, so she said she definitely could not accept them. I tried to explain that they did not come from Walgreens website, only that it suggested that they carry Almay products, but she didn’t get my meaning. During the process of her deleting my items from my order, she screwed up the machine, causing a huge delay in the line, having to call for a Manager. I had already wasted so much of my time, I picked up my coupons and just walked out. A horrible experience! I hate when couponing is more of a complication than a beneficial outcome. :(

      • tori729

        Yeah, CVS’s new system sucks.

        • Tracy J Braselton

yeah, it’s because people were abusing coupons and wiping the shelves, getting extra bucks and then 2 weeks or so later, return items without receipt and getting full price back in store credit

    • Gloria Zayechek

I went to my CVS today in the Atlanta area and they would not accept my printed coupons. Wouldn’t even try scanning them. I was told that they had lost too much money on fraudulent coupons that the manufactures would not honor so this is their new policy, Anyone else hear this?

    • Katie Santiano-McHatton

The got2B coupon expires on the 3rd so it wont work for the deal starting the 4th ;-(

      • Shauna

most CVS’s allow shopping for the next week’s ad starting some time on the previous Saturday. At one store they start at noon, at another in my area they start at 6. I find this especially helpful to get to a $25 total by combining deals from two weeks worth of ads.

    • Andrea

CVS app has a Physician’s Formula coupon $5 off $15 purchase. My Mom does not have the app, but was printed the same coupon on her receipt. My CVS starts the next week’s deals at 4pm on Saturday. I just bought 2 mascaras for $9.99 each to pair with the get 10 ECB when you spend $20 deal this week. This purchase put me over the $50 needed for $5 beauty rewards to make them free after ECB’s!

    • Misa

If I have % off coupon and I pair it with the Revlon spend $15 get $5 ECB, do I need to spend $15 before or after the percent off? My plan is to spend $15, use 30% coupon with $3/$9 Revlon purchase so my total is $7.50 after coupons but I don’t know if the ECB will print. Last time I used a percent off coupon it put me under the dollar threshold.

      • dawg4

My experience has shown it will figure the price for meeting the threshold on the amount BEFORE applying the 30% off discount. My receipt will show the regular price but underneath that item it prints in bold letters that it applied the 30% off. Further down on my receipt it shows the amount deducted from the sum of all eligible items which it took 30% off–kind of like a separate coupon. Hope this helps. (You can always return any items that weren’t necessary for the total purchase afterwards–further down on your receipt it should print Revlon spend $15 get $5 ECB = 1 offer met, $6.12 spent for the next offer. This means you spent $21.12 on qualifying products.)

        • Tracy J Braselton

Really? Return any items right after????? What about all the other customers waiting in line behind you that actually pay? OMG, if you can’t get it free, you don’t want it? This is part of the reason for the new coupon policy and limiting items and only allowing one extra care card!!! You can’t use your Aunt’s, Cousin’s, Husband’s or neighbor’s card anymore. I once stood in line for 30 minutes+ because a couponer was using more than 1 card. Not to mention she kept telling the cashier to take that one off and coupons being expired.30 minutes and there was several people behind me

          • dawg4

All I meant was if the cashier can’t tell you in advance of the transaction whether you have met the threshold, then err on the side of buying more than the minimum. Then if you purchased $35 worth, but only needed $25, then return the excess which wasn’t needed. Also, I’m very conscious of the other customers in line, so I limit myself to one quick transaction then go to the back of the line. I do not clear the shelves, either. I always limit myself to only one offer per sales week. And I believe in treating the sales staff and other customers with respect and kindness. And I donate what purchases my family doesn’t use to local food bank and other charities.

          • sebastian

i disagree with you. It does not matter if a customer is paying with coupon, extrabucks, gift card or any form of payment. its all the same to me and the company is getting reimburse for it
            .
            per Tracy:

What about all the other customers waiting in line behind you that actually pay?

couponer is a customer who saves money and knows the value of the money and stretch it. pls know that majority of the couponer are actually middle class who makes above the poverty level. I always take pride when i go to the store and totally not embarrased with using coupon, i dont care if they think im cheap or frugal but i tell the people i am saving for my next cruise>>
couponing is an art and not everyone can do.
I actually feel bad for people who dont use coupon. the way you word your stuff is actually degrading and i hope u think before you speak..

    • Lori

The link for the Right@Home Glade coupons is $.75/2, not $1.25/2. Anyone else have the same issue? I even tried sharing but that didn’t work at all. I got the “printed” message but none printed.

    • Kristina

I found a great deal on the Scope Mouthwash that made it a moneymaker. My CVS had the Crest Scope mouthwash 16.9oz for $3.79. Had $3 ECB for 1 bottle, limit 2. I had 2 $1.50 off Crest mouthwash coupons and a store coupon for $2 off of $6 for mouthwash. So after coupons $2.58 and it printed $6 in ECB’s.

    • Angie Teague

How do I use the (4)$1 off coupons for 4 of the Scrubbing Bubbles, Windex ? Those $1 coupons you recommended expire on 9/4, so how can I use then for the sale starting on 9/11 ? I’m kind of new to this, but that confuses me.

      • This is the ad that is currently running so it started 9/4. You would have been able to use those coupons on the first day of the ad. To see the CVS ad for next week, you need to select it from the drop down menu right below the CVS Weekly Ad & Deals heading.

    • Lehn Gugel

I went CVS today in SC and they refused all of my golf emblem abound printed coupon. Manager said they were all fraudulent even though they printed from the CVS site. Anyone else had this issue?

      • That’s interesting. I haven’t heard of anyone else having that problem. Sorry about that!

      • david

        hello lehn,

i got one on the mail and one printable. pls contact the corporate about this matter. they are very helpful and they will address the issue.

    • Allison

The CVS ad always says there’s a coupon for Revlon Color Silk hair color, but I can never find that coupon in my papers. Does anyone else ever find a coupon for that product in their papers?

      • In the database, we have that there are two available. One is for $1/2 Revlon Hair Color that came out 8/14 and the other is for $1/2 Revlon Hair Color that came out 9/11. The coupon from 8/14 was verified in these papers:

        FL – Florida Times-Union
        FL – Gainesville Sun
        FL – Lakeland Ledger
        FL – Tampa Bay Times
        NC – Asheville Citizen-Times
        NC – Charlotte Observer
        SC – Post and Courier
        SC – The Sun News
        TN – Knoxville News Sentinel

        Hope this helps!

    • suemac1

Is the amount off for the Irish Spring bodywash or is just too late at night? $3.99 – $1 coupon = $2.99 + $1ECB = like paying $1.99 not $0.99. Right?

      • KerBear

I discovered the same thing lol

    • Griffin22

I’m confused it says to by 3 pamper jumbo packs but then use the huggies coupon?

    • bdmommy

There’s a checkout51 rebate for $1.15 for (2) belvita breakfast biscuits that brings them down to around $1.50 per box

    • Julie

Has anyone received an e-mail that offers 15 ECBs back for a $75 purchase? I am just wondering if it just has to be $75 in spending BEFORE coupons.

      • Julie

Jenny, do you have any idea if this works just like the usual dollar off amounts for a specific purchase amount (i.e. $10 off a $40 purchase)? Thanks in advance.

        • These should work exactly like all the other store coupons. Just like their ECB deals in the weekly ad, the computer looks for the total purchase to met before coupons. I’ve not received one like this to test, but based on everything I have tried that is what I would expect.

          • Julie

Thanks, Jenny! Yes, that is exactly what happened. I got the 15 ECBs for spending $75 BEFORE coupons. I appreciate all that you do!

    • bdmommy

Just a heads up…while in CVS today I was able to pick up hair ties/brushes/baretts/clips/headbands for 75% off on clearance. Got some great fancy headbands and baretts for stocking stuffers for 99 cent to 2.49!

    • towana cox

my cvs had hanes t shirts and tops 75 off got some christmas gifts for 1.00 – 2.24 today

    • Crystal Goodwin

I finally managed to get to CVS this morning.
      I had a great time.
I went in with a 30% off CVS email coupon and $5.50 in ECB.
I got $165.55 worth of products.
      I spent $46.46 plus tax
But I got back $20 in ECB.
It was like getting everything for $32.
      That’s a 80% savings.
I could have done a little better but I forgot to clip a couple of coupons before I left the house. I live an hour away from my closest CVS so going home was not an option. One was a $3 coupon.
I’m still very happy with all the stuff I got.
      I wish I could post a picture.

      • david

i wish i had the 30% off .. could have use it on 12 revlon cosmetics,, bogo coupon,, expires today… could have been 40 dollar money maker!!@disqus_hpvkN8ndgp:disqus

For the Garnier deal, according to the ad posted on
iheartcvs(dot)com the deal is actually “Spend $10.00 on Garnier Whole
Blends get a $2.00ecb” so not sure where the above moneymaker deal came
      from?

      • hijo

I have the same in my ad.

      • SueH

        Mine says that also.

        • That is strange the ad would be so different. It’s on page 9 for me in a big blue box. You should still find them all on sale in your store though.

          • SueH

Is there a way to see the actual circular on cvs dot com? It was only showing me a page called ‘myWeeklyAd’ and was based on the last 6 months purchases. I guess maybe I bought some Suave there in the last 6 months and not the others. I googled the circular and found it. It does show the various brands.

      • Sorry that was a typing error :(. I’ve fixed it now on the list. I did get a $3 off $15 hair care today that hopefully others will get. That will make it a better deal again.

Angel Soft SavingStar rebate is $5 wyb $25 (not $20). (Or that is what mine reads.) :)

    • Cassie Sprouse Padgett

Has anyone had trouble with the mail in rebates lately? I applied for the zzzquil rebate haven’t received it contacted the company about it got sent to a webpage to look up my name and address it didn’t even recognize me contacted cooperate again haven’t heard back! I also did the duo fusion zantac rebate have not seen it. Tried the Colgate rebate on Sunday it says it didn’t recognize my receipt (printed from home because I’m paperless with the store! )So this is three mail in rebates!! Two of which of which I sent my only receipts therefore no way to prove I bought the products!

      • Jennifer

I got my Duo Fusion Zantac rebate credit card in the mail last week.

    • Linda

On the Venus Razor deal you state to use (2) manuf. coupons however, my manuf. coupon is for $3.00 2 ct. or larger. Therefore, you couldn’t use 2 manuf. coupons. Correct?

      • VP22

You can use 2. The coupon says, Venus Razor or Venus/Daisy Disposable(2ct or larger). The 2ct part is for the disposables. If you notice, even the pic on the mq shows a 1 ct regular razor.

    • Jan

I did the Right Guard deal today with the B1G1 coupon and it only deducted $2.51 for the coupon instead of $3. The first one rang up at $3.49 and the second at $2.51. They will still be free plus overage after savingstar but if this is how the registers are working now it could mess up other deals.

    • Phyllis

I had $5 of extra bucks on my card. I didn’t want to use them yet
because my purchase did not total $5. Without asking the cashier
applied the $5 so I lost $1.01 in extra bucks. CVS customer care says
there is nothing that they can do, they said to talk to the store
manager. However, from the store receipt you can’t tell that I lost
$1.01 in extra bucks, it just shows that $3.99 was redeemed. Very poor
customer service. Any suggestions (other than don’t send the bucks to my card)?

    • Paul B.

Great trip to CVS today! I got everything on my list and only spent $1.43 oop and got back $5 ecb’s. My CVS is so awesome. I got the Right Guard, Bia drinks, Colgate mouthwash, 2L Pepsi, Dawn liquid soap, and a 20oz Dt. Mt. Dew. I had a $5 ecb that expired on 10/1 and they let me use it. AWESOME!

    • Tricia

I have a question about: $10 ECB wyb $30 in participating Baby Care. the example says to buy 3 packs of diapers on sale for $9.99. Wouldn’t this make your transaction short of the $30? Or do they use the before sale price to calculate it?

      Thanks!

      • FrancesA

They usually use the 98% rule. (spend 30 * .98 and your ECB will print).

        • Tricia

          Thanks!

    • FrancesA

Has anyone received the $10/60 coupon this week after they have made a purchase? I have received several the past few weeks on my receipt.

      Thanks!

    • Sandra Wallace

I am confused about the new coupon policy at CVS and I could really use some help. I want to buy two bottles of Pepcid Complete at $11.29 each. This is regular price – not on sale. I have:
      CVS coupon 30% off purchase
CVS coupon $3 off $12 heartburn relief
CVS coupon $2 off $10 heartburn relief
      $3 extra buck rewards
      2 manufacturer’s coupons for Pepcid $4 each
      How do I do this?

      • vickisfloyd

I think you need to give them the 30% off coupon first followed by the rest. I don’t think the order will matter after the 30% first.

        • I have always experienced 30% off applies to whatever is left after all coupons, no matter when I hand it over. It also applies AFTER all ECB’s in my state, so it ends up never being a great deal, unless I must buy something full price and have NO coupons or ECB’s to use. (I nearly always use it to buy my Sunday papers, actually.)

      • dawg4

Examine your receipt carefully afterwards and learn how and when they apply the 30% off coupon. I have noticed that the system applies the 30%-off after the other coupons are applied. Their system will now prevent the price of the item from dropping below zero (not regarding the ECB’s which may print afterwards.) Hope this helps.

      • LoriG

The system should do this automatically for you, but I always put my dollar-off CVS coupons first, with manufacturers coupons next, and % off last. Once I see the final total, I hand over my extra buck rewards (basically paying down the balance with them) so I can keep track of final cost. With the recent coupon changes, I’ve noticed the system will back up and require the cashier to verify the transaction before resubtracting all the coupons…but as long as the final total is as expected, don’t stress over it. You may find that the 30% off coupon is only used for a dollar or two, but if you’re signed up for emails you should get them regularly anyways. Happy couponing!

    • leilapearcy

Has CVS store coupon policy changed recently? I have always been able to stack a store and manufacturer coupon, but the last time I went to CVS, I was told I would have to choose only one. Using both coupons did make the item free, but that’s never been an issue before.

      • kaoscasa

I stacked them today. I think you got a clerk that knew nothing.

      • You should be able to stack them, yes it sounds the clerk didn’t understand this

    • Rebecca Bryant

Has anyone else notice the change in what you can use your ECB on. i use to be able to use it the purchase of eggs, bread and milk but now they say that is no longer true. It sucks because that ECB helpe when milk was on sale.

      • kaoscasa

Our cvs does not sell bread or eggs.

        • Rebecca Bryant

Our has a small cooler section but just disappointed I can no longer use ECB on food purchase like milk and eggs.

      • JS

I have noticed that my milk deals (in Indiana) no longer produce ECBs. Before, milk might be $2.69 with a $1 ECB back. Now, the milk is just priced lower, like $1.69. I haven’t try to buy it with ECBs yet though.

    • Melannie

I’m new to couponing with CVS & am a little confused. I did pretty good over the last week stocking up on necessities. I spent a total of about $100 & have $39 in ECB. I was looking on my last receipt at the summary & it says I have $19.92 for the Baby Care ECB & need $.08 to receive it but yet it printed a $5 EB on my receipt. $19.92 was what I spent with 1 pk of Huggies & to BOGO 50% off J&J powder before mfg. coupons. If I need $.08 why did it print the ECB? Also, is there a particular order coupons should be given to the cashier? TIA!!

      Melannie

      • FrancesA

You have to meet the 98% rule (ie $20 times .98) for ECB to print. If you have a $10/60 purchase etc., you need to hand them first because you have to meet the requirements before other coupons are subtracted.

    • hijo

      U by Kotex is limit 1, for Ibotta you will have to buy 2. So not free but still a good deal. Buy 2 = $15.98 – $2 CVS coupon – $2 (2x$1) mfg. coupon – $3 Ibotta – $3 ECB = $2.99 each.

      • dawg4

I believe you could save a little more by buying (1) large 36 ct. tampons, and (1) 18 ct. tampons or pads. (The Ibotta offer simply excludes 18 ct. liners. The CVS coupon is good on the tampons or pads only.) The online price of the tampons, 18ct. is $5.79. Therefore buy one large box for $7.99, one small box for $5.79, = $13.78. ALSO, I was able to print TWO of the $2 CVS coupons. I think the final cost would be $1.78 for both, or $0.69/ea.

      • Thanks for catching the Ibotta mistake. You can print (2) of the $2 CVS store coupons so it will bring the price down to $1.99 each for the large boxes

    • Tjvsmom

I have CVS bucks expiring on Saturday, but want to use them for deals in Sunday’s flyer. Can you still get next weeks deals on Saturday? If so what time does the system allow it?

      • dawg4

I THINK if your CVS store is a 24-hr, 7 days a week store, then at some point the “system” and the sales ads overlap on Saturday evening. It might be 6 pm or 8 pm, not sure. Just call and ask; if the cashier doesn’t know, ask for the manager on duty. They should know. Just realize that they might not have the items tagged for the week you are shopping.

        • Tjvsmom

          Thanks, I will call.

      • JS

The 24 hour stores don’t start their new ad until midnight. Some other stores (but not all) have overlapping ads from 4 PM until midnight. You can ask them. Also, my store “unofficially” accepts ECBs up to 48 hours after expiration. You could ask your store if they do that too, and then you could just go on Sunday. Be careful with overlapping ads, because the system will pick the deal that IT thinks is best, but it may not be the deal you were trying to do. So be careful if an item is included in both ads.

        • Tjvsmom

          Thanks JS, I will call.

    • Sheila

Will you post transaction ideas for Black Friday ? Please and thank you!

      • LoriG

She will! And it will be total awesomeness, I’ve used her scenarios for the past 3 years and you simply cannot BELIEVE the deals!

    • Kelly Johnson Coran

Can you purchase three $25 applebees cards to get the ecb or does the $75 have to be on one card?

      • As long as it’s one purchase it’s ok.

    • hijo

Heads up: The Softsoap handsoap coupon is for 8 oz.and up (although it shows the 7.5 oz. on the picture before you print). You can’t use it on the 7.5 oz. deal :(

      • pdnr

Thank you! I didn’t catch that and would have shown up at the store with a deal that won’t work.

        • Jessica

I didn’t catch it either. But the store took it today. oops

      • Thanks for catching that! Will change the deal.

        • hijo

Would be nice if they would include it once in a while.

    • hijo

Xtra Laundry detergent $2.88/2. $1.00 app only coupon available = 2 for $1.88.

    • yazpistachio

I’m thinking of trying the following scenario:

Buy 2 CVS jumbo pack diapers: $15
Buy 3 Huggies jumbo pack diapers: $29.97
      Total:$44.97

      Use
      $3/20 Huggies (store q)
$5/25 Diapers or wipes incl. CVS Brand (store q)
      $6/30+ total purchase (store q)
      3 x $2/ Huggies diapers
      Pay: $24.97

      Earn 3 + 10 ECBS

Total cost: $11.97 for 5 packs of diapers!
Is this possible? Will they accept that many $ off total coupons in one transaction?

      • Winston Smith

Personally, I don’t know, but could you let us know if you find out?

    • Kristin S.

Can I stack a $6/$30 general purchase with a $5/$25 baby purchase coupon?

      • Christina33

        Yes, they allow it

    • Darlene Edwards

I’m confused on the Schick razors deal because the coupon expires on the 14th?

      • Winston Smith

Good question. I didn’t notice that before

    • Tasha

I just left CVS extremely frustrated. I tried to purchase 2 Charmin that totaled $19.98. I had a $1.00 coupon and a $.25 coupon. After paying for my 2 items, I noticed the $5 ECB did not print. When I brought it to the cashiers attention, she said it did not print because I was $.02 short. I explained that it has always rounded up and printed. She said their coupon policy changed and that is no longer the case. Has anyone else experienced this?

      • Winston Smith

I haven’t had that problem. What did it say on the bottom of your receipt for your offer? That you need to spend .02 more?

      • Couponreina

They are really tightening up their policies. I had $5 ecb’s that were expired for 3 days. I called to get them “reinstated” and they flat out refused. This was the first time that happened- ever. She told me they are really enforcing their policies now :(

    • Terry

Just wondering….does the Thanksgiving ad preview 11/24-11/26 have four items missing from the top?

    • Melisa Carter Yeend

Today’s shopping total – $20.81 out of pocket for 18 items at CVS,
AND I have another $5 available for my next trip. That’s an average of $1.16 per item. Thanks Jenny!!!!!!!! Love that I found you.

Considering we are required to pay sales tax on
the actual value and not the discounted amount, that makes each item closer to $.70 each before sales tax.

      What did I buy?
      2 ziplock freezer bags
      1 Downy softener
      1 – 120 ct Bounce
      3 boxes Klennex
      2 Ban Roll On deodorant
      2 Colgate toothpaste
I Nail color pkg (Dirty Santa gift)
      3 Soft Soap
      1 Gummy worms
1 Schick extreme 8 pk disposable razors
1 Schick 15 pk disposable razors

    • Linda

My CVS would not accept the Softsoap coupon because it is for 8oz. and the bottle on sale is 7.5 oz.

      • Michelle Light Davison

        I had the same problem.

      • Michelle

        I had the same problem.

    • Rebecca Bryant

Question. How many ECB can you get back per deal? Like if I was to buy the toothpaste today then happen to discover another coupon can I get the ECB again if I buy it the following day? Or is it one ECB per card?

      • MariaClipsCoupons

There’s always a limit to the number of ECB deals per card per week. They are listed in the ads and also on the hang tags at the store, but Jenny has kindly listed them in her description above. I’m not sure to which toothpaste deal you are referring, but look at the bold description that will say something like “#ECB wyb BRAND toothpaste, $PRICE, limit #”. The limit she prints in the description is the maximum times you can earn ECBs on that deal per card per week, whether within the same transaction, separate transactions on the same day, or different days in the week. You can also check the bottom of your receipt after you’ve done the deal once, it will show you if you can do the deal more. Sometimes CVS will print limit 1 deal, but the receipt shows that you can do it again!

    • Rebecca Bryant

I dont’ have CVS on the saving Star app or on my desktop account. Not fair.

      • VP22

It should be there. On your desktop, go to “my account”, then click “stores”, then click “add more stores” and see if CVS comes up that way. You may have to add your zip.

        • Rebecca Bryant

Nope nothing. No worries I’ll just stick to the stores I have. thanks

      • tori729

You have to link your CVS card with it then they will automatically credit your account when you buy the product. It’s not a receipt scan store.

    • Brook

For the Huggies Deal Scenario: It says buy 3 but that would total only $29.97. Will the $10 ECB still print if you don’t reach $30?

      • It will still print. They allow a few cents difference.

    • Joyce

I lost a $5 ECB, does anyone know how I can get it back? TY in advance

      • momof3

call the cvs one eight hundred number and talk to customer service

        • Joyce

          TY!

      • I really wish your ECB just got attached to your card! I’m always paranoid about losing mine.

        • Denise

You can have your ECB’s attached to your card! Ask to have a digital receipt and ECB’s will go to your card and not print out. That’s what I do. They show up right away so I can check them before I leave the store.

    • tori729

The Black Friday ad has a bunch of blank deals that say they are free at the top.

      • B

I checked them anyway and where I pull up the add to list they were there.

    • sandra

I just went to my cvs today and they said that they are not having the 3day sale they didn’t get the salespaper and they said all they are doing is the salepaper that says its for the whole week. Anyone know anything about that? i’m in Asheville

      • towana cox

im in v a the reg add this week has some of the free items already plus they told me a new 2 page add comes in paper tomorow for thursday and friday

    • Stella

Question about stacking CVS store coupons – I have a $3.00 off any Schick disposable razor store coupon and a $3.00 off any $15.00 razor purchase store coupon. If I purchase at least $15.00 in razors including a Schick disposable razor, can I use both coupons in the same transaction?

      • FrancesA

        Yes!

    • towana cox

got the free veg pact drinks and cough drops today

    • Cindy

Where do I get the Yardley coupon??

    • Sue Wright

About the toothpaste coupons CVS will not give overage and will refuse coupons that go over.

    • FrancesA

Can someone verify that the ECB deals on 11/20-11/26 can only be done one time? Like the:

99¢ ECB wyb Green Giant Vegetables Can, 11-15.25 oz, 99¢, limit 1.

Is it limit one for the week? Listed in both ads. Thanks!

      • towana cox

sorry yes if it says limit one thats it but they are a few that says limit 2

      • SmoochTheCook

i already bought the green giant and my receipt says that i need one more to get my ECb, but i got the ECB…not sure what that’s all about.

        • Juan Grande

          Means can do it again
          The OceanSpray/PACT is same

    • SmoochTheCook

with the designer fragrances, does it include the gift sets? With all of the ip’s for them, the ibotta rebates + savingstar, that could end up being one heck of a deal, if so!

    • shequeeks

Does the black friday specials count toward ( spend $50 on beauty club)? My total was-needed to earn-$12.03, and it still is after buying 3 of the wet and wild nail polish sets (14.97) and 1 phf. form ($9).

      .

      • VP22

It counts but it usually takes 24-48 hours before posting to your account.

    • Freda

I am not finding pantene coupon on checkout 51.

      • FrancesA

        Expired last Wednesday. Sorry!

    • Willie

If I buy (4) Windex @ 2.99 each, that totals 11.96. Since it says you have to spend $12 to get $3 ECB, will I still get the $3 ECB, or does the total have to actually be $12 or more?

      • If you’re within 10¢ from the amount it will still print

        • Willie

          Awesome! Thanks!

        • Heidi Winters Foster

Is this the new rule? Verses 98% of the total amount I.E. If it’s $3/$12 you’d need $11.76 or is it just a flat….you have to be 10¢ from the $12?

      • miriam

Willie, being 10 cents short …did it work?

    • Melannie

I didn’t receive one of my ECB’s on my last purchase. Offer was for ANY Hefty storage or trash bags – $5 ECB/$15 purchase. I purchased 2 Hefty Lg Lawn & Leaf bags @ $8.99/ea. No other coupon used except previous ECB & it’s not even listed at the bottom under “Extra Buck Offers”. Did I miss something in the offer? TIA!

      • JS

I thought I replied yesterday, but the comment disappeared? When I checked My Weekly Ad for last week’s deals, the leaf bags were not included. It may vary by store, but it sounds like you bought things that weren’t participating in the deal. I wish they made it easier to tell everything that is included.

      • Yes, it sounds like those bags are not included in the deal.

    • debra

Cannot get my list to print, just goes to blank page. Anyone else ever had this problem?

      • It may help if you try a different browser. If you are still having trouble email me at jenny@southrensavers.com with the details of what your having problems with.

    • gmvalentine

Redplum coupons are not included in the Sunday paper that I get. I am looking for the L’Oreal Preference coupons ($6 off of 2). Is there any other place I can get them?

    • gmvalentine

Thought I would put this out there just as a FYI:

If you decide to have your Extrabucks sent to your online CVS account rather than having them print out at the register, they show up as having an expiration 7 days after your purchase. This expiration date is the date by which you have to send your ECBs to your card, it is not the expiration date for using the ECBs. The actual date for using the ECBs is about a month after your purchase. If you wait beyond the 7 day period for sending them to your card, you forfeit the ECBs and there is nothing CVS customer service can do to replenish your ECBs.

I don’t know if this is widely known, but it took me by surprise. I got burned and ended up returning some of the items I did not use. Needless to say, I switched back to having my ECBs print out at the register with the “real” expiration date.

      • savannahm0m

I was really worried about this as well. I never sent it to my card, but just left it out there, and scanned my card at the machine. The ECB printed with an expiration date of a month out like the traditional ECB. So confused about this new system!!!!

      • sandyc215

Thanks for posting this. I switched back to printing the hard copies just because I needed an “in-hand” reminder to use them on time.

    • Heather

Next week’s ad won’t come up. Every time you click on it, it refreshes and takes you to this weeks ad.

      • Sorry you’re having problems. It’s working fine for me. It might help if you try a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox.

    • Juan Grande

CVS has been generous with $6 off any Benefiber coupons from the redbox. Which could make this week’s deal a MM with the MQ.

    • Joyce

I have a $10 off 2 nexus products extra care coupon to send to my card, pair with the $10 back when u spend $20 makes a great deal! make sure you check your CVS account!

    • js

For the Venus razor deal, in the past it has always printed the ECBs if you buy two razors, rather than a razor and a refill as it is advertised.

HOWEVER, my ad in central Indiana is different. My blue razors that are usually $8.99 aren’t included in that deal. They are 2 for $10 this week. This is a great deal if you have the CVS $4/$10 razors and use 2 $3 Gillette coupons!

    • LaurieSPS

If you go to the CVS website and then click on their coupon page there is a CVS printable $1 off 2 Bags of Hershey Kiss Holiday Bags

    • shequeeks

Please be careful telling the cashier your telephone number. I called why my beauty club ecb’s wasn’t printing. I was told it was already used using my telephone number. It’s just my husband and myself and he doesn’t shop.I asked what they bought and where it was used (Hanes Mall Blvd. winston-salem). mountain dew, which we never drink, and the date of the purchase, Dec 12, I wasn’t in town. My question? Do you think a cashier used it, or did someone hear me give my telephone number out-I don’t think so, I always use my card. Also, I had to call CVS twice to complain about Beauty Club $5 ecb’s not printing even though total purchase was over $60. I’m at a loss to how this is happening, They said another $5 is loaded to my card. We’ll see!

      • Jeanine Streeter

That is strange that your ECBs were spent without you knowing. I just wanted to make sure you knew that your Beauty Bucks don’t print immediately. It usually takes them a couple of days for the “amount needed for next reward” to update, and then they print the next time you scan your card.

      • Toni

That is sad that someone stole your money. Sounds to me like CVS should stop using phone numbers as a convenient way to access accounts. People should have to carry their cards and scan them. After all, we have to carry our driver’s licenses and proof of insurance when we drive, for example.

    • Anon

Could you purchase the Maybelline mascara and the Physicians formula deals together and use both of the store coupons ($4 off $15 and the $1.50 off $4) together in the same transaction?

    • Alicia

How do I select more than one coupon at a time to pint from the above links? Each time I click on the printable coupon link it opens a new tab for each coupon instead adding the selected coupon within the same tab. I can’t print them all together and end up printing one coupon at a time instead of 3 per page.

      • pdnr

When I open the first link and it selects the coupon I chose, I just look for the other two and select them myself and print all three at the same time.

        • Alicia

That’s what I’ve been doing but sometimes I need many coupons and it takes some time to find them all. Thanks so much for your reply. I was wondering if I was the only one who has this problem.

    • Heidi Winters Foster

Is anyone else having issues with more than 1 or 2 cpns scanning during a transaction at CVS since the beginning of the new year? I’ve called corporate, proctor and gamble, and the sun corporation to make sure nothing has changing in the way of coupons and their acceptance policies. All 3 are telling me no. However, at my local CVS in Ladson, SC. Only 1 of my tide coupons would scan (I had 2) and only 2 of my all/snuggle coupons would scan. (I had 5). They tried to give me the whole, we can change our cpn policy at anytime line. If corporate isn’t reporting anything. I’m NOT buying it! I’m wondering if it’s a glitch in the system. Steve at P&G said the same exact thing. His exact words were “it sounds like a hiccup with their scanner” Is anyone else running into this problem?? Any thoughts, other than I’m screwed would be helpful lol

      • S K KIRBY

Heidi, In the last month, when I have checked out at Cvs in knightsville, all my ecb’s and coupons go through, then when they hit total, somehow it voids them all. By the time they have rerun my order 1 to 3 times the people behind me in line are lasering a hole in my back. I dread going any more and the cashiers hate to see me coming.

        • Heidi Winters Foster

lol..honey let them keep glaring at you! They’re only jealous that they don’t have the time or patience to save the money you’re saving! I know it gets frustrating, I do. Just keep a positive attitude on how much you save (seriously, they ARE secretly jealous) As for the Cashiers, just be nice, and just as patient with them as you are with yourself. If they don’t want to deal with us couponers, in all honesty..they just shouldn’t work there! Stay positive!!!

        • Denise

I’ve had that same issue! The last 3 times I’ve been in all the coupons void. It’s so annoying. I have a 3ECB to use but then I’m going to take a break from CVS.

          • S K KIRBY

            ThanksDenise

        • Mari Redden

I go to the same CVS every week and the cashier there (he’s wonderful!) told me they have to ring the coupons and ECB’s in a certain order for this to NOT happen. If the order gets changed for some reason or the coupons are rung up in a different order it does the whole “void” thing. He has me give him all the manufacturer, then store, then ECB’s and that way they never seem to void (as long as I dont add anything to the order or take something off of it after he scans my coupons).

          • S K KIRBY

Hi Mari, Thanks for the help. I am going to CVS today and see if this works. Wish me luck. Thanks again.

      • dawg4

I would simply break it down into separate transactions and use your coupons that way. It should work.

        • Heidi Winters Foster

I had to do that with the snuggle/all. It concerns me thought because I do stack their (cvs) coupons with mfr coupons. If my amount doesn’t get to $15 so that I can use my $3/15 off of shampoo, it defeats the purpose. I’ll end up spending more than I should have to.

      • kristin

yes I just had the same issue in Scottsboro, AL. The store manager said they have had trouble since the first of the year. She had to do separate transactions to get all my coupons to work.

      • Guest

Same thing happened to me in Newnan, GA. The mfg coupons I had were 4 for diapers. Three scanned the other one didn’t. The assistant mgr was the one who rung up my sale. He told me that corporate changed their coupon policy and they can not longer ‘override’ or ‘force’ a coupon to go through if it doesn’t scan. I showed him my coupon said there was a limit of 4 identical coupons allowed per purchase and that it should go through. He told me he was sorry but that’s corporate’s policy (he then pulled out the manual) and that the store employee would be held accountable if they forced a coupon to go through. After my much disappointment he somehow got the 4th coupon to go through. I will do separate transactions from now on.

    • elainehn

Forgive me if this has been discussed already but at my store last night (Carrollton, GA) this deal was different than listed – ”

$5 ECB wyb $15 Worth of Household Products
Scott Bath Tissue, 12-18 ct., $6.99, Scott Paper Towels, etc.) The signs in the store and each shelf tag indicated that it was $5 wyb $20 of these products. (Could the $5/$15 be a mic-copy from the CVS brand deal?)

      • dawg4

Yes, apparently it is a typo. My sales circular says “$5 ECB wyb $20 in qualifying products” (eg., Scott, All, Kleenex, etc.).

    • bdmommy

The $2 Finish printable is now gone.

    • elainehn

I did the Gold Bond deal today and got a bottle of the ‘healing’ lotion $10.99 and a small purse size healing hand cream $5.29 both for about $5 out of pocket. I used a $1 printable coupon on each, had a 30% of CVS coupon which took off almost $5 and I used a $5 ECB. Since I got a new $5 ECB for doing this deal, I didn’t actually ‘lose’ that amount either.

Just a heads up … I tried doing the deal with the $4.99 GB powder (and my add does include ‘powder’ in the details) but it did NOT count toward the $15. I planned to ask the manager to fix it, but in looking on the aisle, I happened to notice the small hand creams and decided just to do the exchange since I’d rather have the hand cream anyway. I just hadn’t seen it the first time through and I had only gotten the powder because I was trying to get as close to $15 as I could and the next least expensive cream/lotion was $7.99. Anyway … I’m HAPPY!

    • Jenn

Why is the Savingstar not accepting receipts from CVS? I went to enter my All spendings from today (I had already put the offer in my personal list on Savingstar) but no CVS.

      • Alyssa

Because Savingstar is linked to your CVS card (you should of had to put in your card number on the app). So if you linked your card to your Savingstar account and loaded the rebates you wanted before you shopped, you’ll get an email in a few days saying that savingstar processed it. No need to scan items or upload receipts it goes automatically.

    • Connie

P& G. Has limits if you read how many can be used in a purchase. Serveral say one per product or no more than four like coupons per order, per person, per day I noticed you needed to use two then a printed out coupon to match up to several deals. Couponing is getting tougher. Unfortunately what was meant to be helpful to all has been abused by a few. $101 total receipts for 34 at cvs. Stocked up on laundry supplies, few other items, missed out on shampoo deals either not enough to complete deal or store was out. But thankful my. Family can do laundry.

      • VP22

Actually P&G coupons say limit 1 “per purchase” and that can confuse a lot of people, including cashiers and managers who have not been taught correctly. Each item is considered a purchase which is why they added the other part that says, limit 4 “like” coupons per person per day. Altogether it means you can buy up to 4 of the same item and use up to 4 of the same coupon in that purchase. I wish they would change the verbiage on the coupon and just say limit 1 per “item” purchased because it would avoid so much confusion. I totally agree that couponing is getting tougher but it would help if both couponers and stores understood the coupons.

    • rita

I need a response on this question ladies (and gentlemen!): Today I did a deal that was spend $25 get $10 EBs. I bought 2 items at 6.99 each and 2 at 7.99 each = $29.96, used 4 $3/1 one coupons, and $5 EBs, paid $12.96. The $10 EB didn’t generate and they said it was because the $25 had to be before coupons and EBs! This was a shock to me, have never had this happen before. Did I miss something? Employee said this was started in Oct. and that Jan. 1 was “hard cut off date” for this to take place, yet just last week I didn’t have this issue. This was a different store than I usually shop at. Any thoughts?

      • towana cox

this happened to me last week didnt print said it was sent to my card got home and checked my e mail there it was dont know how it did that

    • rita

Made a small mistake in my previous comment. I was told the $25 had to be AFTER coupons and EBs and that is why the $10 EB didn’t print.

      • towana cox

check your email this happened to me last week did a deal x b didnt print said it had went to my card .i didnt say for it to go there? but it went any way some how sure enough i got home checked there was my 10.00 x b to use went in and told them to take it off card and print from now on hope it works this time dont like not seeing mine on paper plus it will last longer too

    • towana cox

went in today did the excredine deal got 2 coffees and 1 nut it made my 30.00 did print today my 10.00 x b

    • towana cox

at my cvs in va they have any thing not edible 90 off this week . hats toppers for trees and etc

    • Elizabeth

FYI The $3/2 Neutrogena coupon ended 12/31/16.

      • thanks for letting me know!

    • SmoochTheCook

Tell me if I’m wrong please, but with the boost, I’m coming up with $2.24 each. $6.99×4=$27.96. -$10 ECB earned and $9 in coupons= $8.96, or $2.24 each. I usually get a personalized coupon for $2/2, so that will reduce the cost to $6.96, or $1.74 each. OMG, I’m stocking up BIG time! On sale, I would usually have to spend $35!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to drink them for the vitamins and fat to gain weight and keep my potassium, protein, and much more in a good range.

If your cvs has the simply boost in dark chocolate, GET it! Put it in the freezer 15-25 minutes before drinking and there you have a non-sinful dessert!!!!!!!!!!!!

Consider donating to a nursing home!!!!

      • Yes! This scenario works. You can even use (4) $3 off coupons (if you have them) to get $12 off instead of $9. That makes it $1.49 each if you don’t have the personalized coupon.

    • Sherry D

Please explain to me how to use 3 manufacture coupons for most of the deals on here. I haven’t couponed at CVS in almost a year. Here is an example of what I’m not understanding.
Softsoap Body Wash, 15-18 oz, $3.50
Manufacturer Coupon -.75/1 Softsoap body wash, 15 oz+, SS 01/15
Manufacturer Coupon -.75/1 Softsoap body wash, 12 oz+ PRINTABLE
      (buy (3), use (3) .75/1, makes it 49¢ ea.)

      • shanna

for the scenario, you’d buy three items and use a coupon for each item, if you have them. The coupon can be clipped from the Sunday newspaper insert (SS = SmartSource, January 15) or printed from the link provided. Usually you can print two copies from one computer.

        • Cynenergy

is your math correct? 10.50(3.50*3) -2.25(.75*3)=8.25-5.00(ECB)=3.25/3=1.08 not .49? Unless I’m missing something

          • Michael Goldman

there is a CVS q that is printing out of the machine for body wash you need to use also. It did not print for me but did for my son.

    • Paul B.

Got some great CVS Q’s from the machine today. Switched up my original list and got 2 Irish Spring and 1 Softsoap body washes. Also got 1 Palmolive dish soap. Paid $1.16 oop and got $5 ecb! MONEY MAKER!

    • Caroline

How close do you have to be to the amount to actually get the ECB? I want to do the Aquaphor deal but only have two coupons. My total comes to $19.78 with the two sizes I would buy. Will that generate the $10 ECB wyb $20? I don’t really want to “test it” and then have to buy another full product! Thanks!

      • They give you a 10¢ difference, so this deal won’t work :-(

        • Ann Rodman

It depends on the item. I had bought make up a few weeks ago that lacked .02 and I had to buy another item to trigger it. The manager said that certain items do not trigger it that it has to be exact or over. Depends on the product.

    • bdmommy

Today at my CVS I did the soft soap deal, I bought three and used three of the 75 cents off manufacture coupons. My $5 ECB did not print, I asked the cashier and was told that the computer and registers now require the amount spent to be after manufacture coupons are applied. So I had to buy one more (a fourth) to get the extra bucks. If this is their new policy then I will be severely cutting back on my CVS shopping!

    • bdmommy

The Tide and Gain $2 off PODS/Flings is apparently gone.

      • Check back Sunday morning, it should be there then :)

      • Michael Goldman

        back today too Monday-

    • Peggy

Sorry I don’t see how the Tide/Gain for .94 works.
      Could someone explain?
Also, what zip is used for the Red Plum Maybelline Mascara?
      Thanks in advance.

      • The Tide/Gain deal worked because of the $2 off app savings and the $2 off mfr. However both of the mfr are coupons have reached their limit. Unfortunately the Maybelline coupon is gone :-(

        • peggy

Thank you. How does the app savings work. I have no experience in using this approach. Thanks again in advance for helping me understand this process.

    • Kristin S.

How does CVS exchange policy work? I bought diapers a couple of months ago, but I now need a different size. Can I still exchange them? The pkgs haven’t been opened.

      • sandyc215

I can only give my story at my store- I bought WAY too many of a small size for the new grandbaby and kept no receipts. The staff/ manager let me exchange many packages for a larger size, no problem.

      • Yes, you can exchange them no problem, that’s what makes diaper deals even better!

    • towana cox

got great coupons from red box today

    • Kat Hays

where is the cvs Colgate optic white toothpaste coupon?

      • I searched and I don’t’ see it either, it must be gone :-(

      • However, there is a $2/2 Colgate Optic White toothpaste coupon printing from the CVS coupon center for some people right now

    • Whit

The bottom of my CVS receipt says “CVS Brand, Spend 15 Get 5 EB – Amount Toward this Reward 11.78, Amount Needed to Earn Reward 3.22”. I bought CVS Total Home brand fabric softener for $4.19 and it didn’t do anything. When I check on my CVS account online it says “Select CVS Brand”. How do I find out which items are included to generate the $5 EB?

I also have another Extra Buck offer on receipt that just says “Personal”, but website says “Personal Cleansing Product”. How do I know what’s included?

      • SmoochTheCook

I have those same things on the bottom of my receipt and I’m dying to know what I can purchase to get the ECB…I mean, both you and I could have a little money maker since we have to spend less than $5 to get the ECB.

      • JS

Look at “My Weekly Ad” on the CVS website. You can look up the deal and see each item that is included in it.

      • Whit

On my CVS account online the “Select CVS Brand” ECB is listed as a “Locked Deal”. The only CVS brand ECB deal I see in “My Weekly Ad” is for CVS brand Health, Beauty 360 wipes, towelettes or cleanser. The last time I bought anything CVS brand was a few weeks ago and it was batteries. I guess that’s what triggered that on my receipt. Do the “select” items change every week? How long do “Locked Deals” last?

Today I bought the Tide Simply that’s on sale for $2.97 and a new Extra Buck offer popped up stating I only need to spend .02 more in Household to get $5 ECB, but on my online account it doesn’t show this deal as locked or other wise.

        I’m perplexed.

      • Both of those offers are vague offers that they have started running that are rarely in the ad. I also have the personal cleansing product deal showing in my account that somehow I’ve purchased $8 towards… but have no clue what qualifies for that. The only items I grabbed recently near that amount is mouthwash which I wouldn’t have put in that category. I wish I could help, but it’s more like finding an easter egg on these :-(

        • Whit

Thank you! At least I’m not the only who is wondering what those deals are. Lol

    • SmoochTheCook

Just a head’s up…I was reading somewhere that you can’t use a coupon with the Keebler cookie offer from checkout51— I think it’s specifically THAT offer, not all of them, as I’ve never had a problem with others, And, the Nabisco, at least on mine, says that it has to have a specific CO51 tag on it…I have never seen one and didn’t know that when I bought the oreos.

      • Hazelsgdaughter

Same question only with Kellogg’s cereal: My Checkout51 app says you can not use with any other coupon. So I can’t use the 75c off??? Can anyone clarify?

        • Christina33

In my experience, Checkout 51 works with my CVS receipt because the coupons are listed on the bottom. So I have been able to get the offer because they have no idea which coupons are for which items. Dishonest? A little. At Target, this won’t work with the offers that say cannot be combined with another coupon because the coupon shows up under each item on the receipt.

    • Rebecca Bryant

Just a heads up from my personal experience today. My local CVs and i went to 2 different ones is not offering the Colgate deal but rather a crest deal. Also not sure why but my local CVS refused to use my 30% off coupon on top of the B1G50% off deal. They also would only honor the 50% off if i bought the more expensive Dove deodorant of 6.99

      • dawg4

Read the fine print on your 30% off CVS store coupon. My experience has been that if the item is already on sale (e.g., 20% off or BOGO 50% off, etc) then it is not eligible for the store coupon. But if the item is simply eligible for ECB’s back (with regular item pricing) then you can use the 30% off. Just ask the cashier or scan your item in the red box to see if the item has a sales price for that week.

        • Rebecca Bryant

Thanks for the info. That makes sense. I just wish i knew about them not letting me get the lesser expensive deodorant that was tagged B1G50% instead making me the more expensive one.

    • Regina

Hi! If I don’t get my coupons from the red box on Sundays, will I NOT get all of them? I went today and scanned my card, and I only got 2 coupons.

      • No, it should give you all the coupons you were set to get any time during the week. You can always log into your CVS account on CVS.com and see what coupons are going to print for you.

        • Shanna

Yeh you can log onto your account. But what it shows me and prints will be differant than someone else.

      • Shanna

You never know which ones will print for you.

    • Shanna

I just spent half an hour trying to get the Kleenex coupons site to let me on. Forget it I’ll just go to CVS with what I have. It is so frustrating.

    • Tammi Benson

The price for the Gillette Venus razor, single count (the least expensive one) at my store is $8.99 vs $6.99 that you have listed, the price online however is $6.29 but you can’t use coupons. Are the prices where you are really that different or was it a typo. I ended up paying $13.24 for two single razors with 6 dollars in return. I feel defeated.

      • JS

I think this must be different in different areas. Mine has been $8.99 like yours for several months at least. :( It is a good deal when you have a 30% off coupon though.

    • jn

How does bogo50 % sale on revlon work with a bogo coupon on revlon eye makeup work.

      • It doesn’t work so good. the bogo coupon will take off the price of the 50% off item (always takes the cheaper item) so you might as well have used the coupon on a full price time

    • Deanna

I have a $1.50 off one Colgate Total 4 oz or more coupon (and the .75 off listed in the matchup). If I stack the $1.50 man. coupon with the 2.50 store coupon, that $1 more than the cost of the Colgate. If I throw the Colgate in a transaction with the Gillette/Venus razor deal, will the extra $1 be credited toward my total purchase amount? Or will the cashier be required to adjust my coupon down to meet the price of the Colgate? I’d hate to lose the $1, and will use the .75 off coupon if it’s going to be adjusted down. I know to use filler items to not lose the full value of an ECB if your total due is less than your ECB, but I’ve never had coupon overage like this and wasn’t sure how it would play out.

    • ahwilliams

Anyone having trouble with proctor and gamble coupons? My CVS is not accepting them anymore which seems weird since their ads still promote the use of those coupons. Any suggestions? If not, looks like I will switch to one of the other drugstores.

      • okellyatl

I experienced the same thing earlier this month…one CVS refused to take them, another one just manually keyed them. And it was only the P&G coupons….strange. I would suggest trying another store or contacting corporate.

    • Jenni

Is the spend $30 an get $10 ecb before coupons or a total of $30 after qpons?

      • towana cox

        before coupons

    • towana cox

i was lucky at my cvs had cooler full of pizzasgot 6 rung up 6.49 and 3.51 took off 6.49 each the free ones came out for me .79.72 for 18.13 plus got 15.00 back in bucks love it got tide pantenes eggs and pizzas all for 3.13

    • Dawn

Also is the $10 in extra bucks spent for $30 rolling? If I spent $20 last week towards it, and I spend $10 this week does it count?

    • You cannot print them from home, but you can long into your account online and load them to your cvs card.

    • Jessica Johnsen

CVS sent me a $10 off of $40 cpn…do I have to meet the $40 before cpns or after?

      • Deanna

        Before coupons :)

    • towana cox

saved 93 percent today started with 17.00 in x bucks got 6.00 off 30.00 at red box got 3 coffees 3 quilted tissue 2 mix nuts 2 persils pd 6.45 got 10.00 back in x bucks to use later right on track this week

      • Lori

        Nice job!

    • Sharlee Harris

I haven’t couponed for about four years so I’m out of the loop as to what’s going on. For one thing, I can only print one coupon online instead of two; has this changed? Also, does anyone know where I can get inserts for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution (or any from a large city)? The website I used before is for sale, so that seems to be no longer an option. Thank you.

      • Bev

I have the same issue with the Redplum website. It only prints one coupon for most offers. I can still print 2 at most other sites.I also noticed the coupon insert site may be for sale.

      • You should be able to print (2) coupon for most printable coupons. If you are still having trouble email me at jenny@southernsavers.com to let me know which ones you are specifically having trouble with. As for coupon inserts, I get mine from http://www.sundaycouponinserts.com and they come from Tampa, FL

    • Dawn

Anyone having trouble getting extra bucks if you use the Coupons CVS sends you that you can send to your card? For example $6 off $30? I had spent the $12 on Revlon and should have received $3 extra bucks. But the receipt reduced the price I spent on each item, so I had to go back and spend more on Revlon to get my $3 extra bucks. It’s almost not worth it, but I’d have to sit down and figure out the math.

      • GUEST

It happened to me also. I called corporate and the CSR looked up my purchase(s) and found that I should have received ECB. She credited my account with the ECB which showed on my account the next day. She said to allow 48 hours.

        • Thanks for the information on the market testing cause I abhor this two week ad personally, cause if there’s a deal talked about that’s on a one week ad, the pricing will be higher in the two week ad then drop dramatically on the next 2 week ad.

      • Some of the stores I go, when you have email receipts there is a delay it looks like on when the EBs post. They come like a day or two late, the emailed receipt may have 1 or 2 offers on the side of it and then about 2 days later a whole bunch show up to send to card in the app
and as someone else mentioned contact customer service by phone, they can look it in do it within a day since the time to add them is short

    • deblack

On transaction #3 Don’t you have to buy (3) of Garnier Whole Blends to get the $3.00 ECB back? confused. So would this not work?

      • dawg4

Yeah, my ad says, buy 3 get $3ECB. Yet buy 2 for $7, 1 for $4.79. I don’t like this new way of marketing. It is a little misleading–at best, it is confusing.

        • Lori

When I went, the sign read “Must buy 2 to get sale price of 2/$7”. So this would mean buying 4 for $14 or 3 for $11.79. Still a good deal if you can find 4 $2 MQ’s. My paper did not have them even though it is listed on the website (Florida Times Union). No variations for my paper this week!

          • Sharlee Harris

I ordered them from Klip2Save for 20 cents each plus $1.00 shipping. If you order today you should get them Saturday. I did last week (order Wed., got Sat.)

    • Coupon Girl

Sally Hansen Xtreme Nail Color did not work for me for the $3.00 ECB back. :(

    • I’m finding a lot of CVS locations are now doing 2 week ads. My local stores do it in MO and it’s considered the Metro MO/IL state pricing.

      • VP22

You are in a test market area. CVS has been experimenting with different ideas for awhile now. They try them out for so long in a particular area and then track how sales are going. My area and 5 other states were in a test market for the majority of last year. We didn’t have two week ads. They gave us really short ads, around 8 pages, and we didn’t get all the sales that everyone else had. It sucked.

        • boobear

Oh my goodness, my CVS in Iowa just started this last week. I went today and none of the items in the ad were on sale. They are trying out crazy deals like spend $30 on chocolate get $10 ECB, same in the laundry detergent and toothpaste. I hope they go back to the weekly ads… I really needed the items that were on sale. ugh

          • VP22

I hope it changes for you soon. I’ve been there before so I know how you feel.

    • crystal

I had a great trip to CVS today.
I got 1 – 12 pack of Bounty Paper Towels
      3 bottles of Pantene
      3 bottles of Dawn
1 can of soup $1.39 ($1 coupon from the red machine)
1 Candy Bar (which I probably didn’t need)
I started with $10 ECB and left with $7 ECB.
      I paid $9.12 including tax.
The red machine has been giving me some great coupons.
Yesterday, I went in with a 20% off coupon.
I got Mucinex, Allegra, Zyrtex and I did the razor deal plus I got some 75% off Valentine tea lights.
I paid around $52 plus tax but I started out at $129.75 and I left with $10 (which is what I started with today). Allergies medications are expensive.

      • emileee

and you don’t think you deserved a candy bar?!?

        • Crystal

          Deserve, YES.
Unfortunately, I didn’t need it but I got it and ate it anyway.

    • Dawn

My $2 off Tide, Procter and Gamble Coupon would not scan today. She went ahead and keyed it in, but let me know in the future they would not accept those.

      • towana cox

my p and g tide coupon said not a coupon go to coupon .com for one all others good first time ive saw this before

      • Heidi Winters Foster

I would contact your store manager and ask him/her if this is really TRUE. I’ve had issues with Tide coupons scanning, but never been told they wouldn’t take them. I’m sure it’s a cashier that’s not well informed. If your store manager doesn’t know, contact corporate, goes as far as P&G if you need to!

    • Jenn

I am trying to buy the All coupons in bulk to stock up but every coupon site doesn’t have them listed any of the RedPlum inserts. Is anyone else having this issue?

      • Sharlee Harris

I found them at Klip2Save. They didn’t have them at first, but you can leave your e-mail, they will notify when they have more. You should still get them by Saturday if you order today.

    • Dawn

Maybe that’s what was wrong with mine. I didn’t look close.

    • Sharlee Harris

I know I should know the answer to this, and while I don’t, I know that many of you do, so please help me here. When you print a coupon, say, on 3/10 and it gives an expiration date of 3/31, will the expiration date still be 3/31 if I print it later in the month? For some reason, I thought the expiration date was linked to when you printed the coupon. Thank you!

      • Kathy

Depends on the coupon, some coupons are good for like 2-4 weeks from the time you printed them and some have a set expiration date. HTH

      • If the coupon itself has an experience date on it, you cannot use it after that date. However once a coupon as reach its print limit you can still use that coupon for up to 2-4 weeks if you printed it before it reached it’s print limit. Hope that helps

    • Valerie Smith

what does the M mean infront of the item. Where do I get the manufacturer cupon?

      • VP22

The M in front means there is a manufacture’s coupon available for that item. The info next to the M is where the coupon can be located.

      • Deanna

To add to what VP22 said already…SS is SmartSource, RP is Red Plum, PG is Proctor Gamble, and the date is the Sunday paper in which the insert was delivered. So “$3/2 Pantene Products RP 3/12” means that coupon for the Pantene is available in the Red Plum coupon insert from the March 12 Sunday paper.
Ibotta, SavingStar, Checkout 51, and MobiSave are all coupon apps.
        Hope this helps!

    • New to CVS

Can you use a manufacturer coupon with a coupon that came out of the CVS coupon machine? I’m new to couponing and not sure if the CVS coupon machine is store coupons or manufacturer . Thanks

      • Deanna

The ones from the coupon machine are store coupons, so you are good to use both. In the list of coupons available for each item, Jenny has those marked with the S in a blue square. Some are availabl e e ! Happy CVSing!

    • Savannah

for transaction #3, will you still get the ECB for the Maybelline even thou they only add up to $11.98 & not $12?

      • Christina33

It is 98%, so $11.76 would be all you need. I know this is an old post, but I thought you might find it helpful to know that it is 98%

    • CVS

Savannah, Yes I saw in one of her youtube vids explaining how you don’t have to be right on the money if you are a few cents off . CVS will still give you the credit of reaching 12.00 if you ring up at 11.98. Good luck and happy couponing !

    • Elizabeth

For the $5 ECB wyb $10 Colgate deal, it says limit 2. So can I buy $20 worth of product in one transaction and get $10 in ECB, or do I have to split it up?

      • VP22

You can do it in one transaction and it will print a $10 ecb.

    • towana cox

had 6.00 off 30.00 email so i got 3 reeses candy 2 cottonells 4 scott tissues used 6.00 off 10.00 off x b from last week used red box and manf coupon came too 2.81 total plus got back 10.99 in x b for next week a great trip for me today

    • sandyc215

I asked this before- I’m sorry- but what sending email address does CVS use for the Thursday coupon? I think mine are getting caught in the spam filter again.

      • SueH

They should be sending it to the address you used when you signed up online.

    • Ann

I tried the pampers deal today and spent 29.97 and the 10 dollars in extra bucks did not print. CVS did not give the extra bucks when i mentioned. i used extrabucks from a previous on this sale so did not want to return so i guess i’m stuck.

      • Michael Goldman

call cvs extra care help line – they will credit to your care

      • VP22

Was the Pampers deal advertised in your area? Do you have any tracking on your receipt?

    • Chrystal Presley

I am clicking on the link to print coupons and I can’t find the coupons she has listed. I see lots of crest coupons but I can’t find any of the colgate products. Am I doing something wrong?

      • VP22

It’s not you. The Colgate coupons disappeared after Saturday night.

    • Merileigh Hemp

I went in to get the colgate and softsoap deals and none of my coupons would scan. This happened the last time I went in to do coupons at CVS and I am getting frustrated as to why this is happening. I used the print at home ones from the southern savers ad above…has any one else run into this problem?

      • David Wyatt

At my cvs if they dont scan the lady just types them in as long as eveything about them is correct you know valid date real coupon etc. Maybe go to your cvs enough to find someone else who will. Or go to another town area I am sure you will find a CVS thats not being anal. lol Wis you luck.

      • David Wyatt

alot depends on your cashier I Had a lady at bilo tell me that they my coupon didnt double when i used it before and it did had to call a manager to set her straight. the manager even said as long as its 60 cents or under and does not say on it not to double then even if the computer dosent realize it they have to honor it and if they are a decent business they will!

      • Scott Byrnes

Yes, the print at home ones often won’t scan, not just at CVS, but several places. A few of the managers and cashiers have told me that the ink prints too dark. Generally, they just type them in manually. I have never had a cashier at CVS, Publix or Harris Teeter, not take a print at home coupon that would not scan.

    • towana cox

i did the colgate and softsoap deal n o problem for me all went find are you sure it was not the cashier you got tell the manger or call corp

    • Cynthia Diane Roberts

I went to my local CVS about 8:15 to get a rain check for the Arm and Hammer. The cashier told me that sale went off at 5:30. I thought the sale went through til closing on Saturday night. Does anyone know if this is true?

      • Brandy

Yes the sale goes until the store closes on Saturday night. Those stores that don’t stay open until midnight will start Sunday sales on Saturday around 4:30 or 5:00, but that just means that you can get both sale ads during that time. I would go back in and talk to a manager and see if they will still issue the raincheck.

        • Cynthia Diane Roberts

          Thanks

    • gvillegma

Is anyone else having trouble with the phone app? I show several ECB’s and coupons on my app, but when I check out, the registers aren’t showing that I have any on my card! I have called customer service a couple of times, they assure me that it’s been fixed, but when I go in, the same thing happens. It’s getting frustrating!

      • Deanna

When I go in to the store I still go straight to the CVS coupon machine. It’ll print out any in-store coupons but it also prints out a list of all the coupons on the card. When I check out if anything doesn’t pop up on their screen, I can usually show them the printout and they’ll key it in manually.

      • Ptr

I always print mine out since they usually have a longer expiration date. Scan your card in the store more than once.

      • Joyce

I had the same problem for months it was driving me crazy!! Customer service said it was a known issue on only certain accounts, Seems to be fixed now!

    • wwilliamson

I am new to couponing and this site and I have a question. I have the RP insert for 3/5, but there is no Q for Maybelline mascara. I have also noticed that I am missing other Q’s as well. Can someone advise me on this? Thanks in advance!

      • Lori

Not all coupon inserts are created equal…they are regional. If you look on this website, you will find the regional coupon insert variations. You can purchase coupon inserts or individual coupons online if you don’t get the ones you need.

        • wwilliamson

          Gotcha! Thanks, Lori!

        • Kathryn Harper-Seymour

Quick question. How do you purchase just the inserts?

    • Michael Goldman

I got a $7 off of $25 for hair care I noticed that it expires today.
      I bought
      3 Pantene $12
      2 Headshoulders $12
      1 Sauve for $1.29
      $25.29 – 7=18.29
less CVS printing q of $3 off 2 HS and $2 off 3 pantene
      =13.29
less man q of $5 off Pantene
less man q of $5 off HS
      =$3.29 plus tax
got back 4 extra care bux for spending $20 on those products
money maker!!! I told my wife and she said…..good. not nearly excited as I was.

      • VP22

I have been there. LOL! You did great;-)

      • Ptr

        Great job, Michael!!!

    • shlorick

Question about the arm and hammer deal from a couple weeks ago. I live in Columbia, SC (Irmo really) and got the rain check as I’m sure many of you did. I was able to find some of the bottles today, but I am having trouble finding a store that stocks the pods- specifically sensitive skin or free. Does anyone knew where in town might carry them? Thought the 24hr store would have the best selection and they don’t carry the pods at all.

      • shlorick

Well…. I should have researched a little more before posting…. looked on the A&H site and the pods don’t come in a sensitive skin. For $1 I will buy what I can and just not use them on the baby’s clothes.

    • GUEST

Check your dates on your ExtraBucks. CVS use to take ECB rewards up to 7 days from expiration date. They won’t take them any longer even if they expired 1 day ago. Called corporate who also confirmed the store clerks word. Hate it that I’ve lost these rewards.

    • Teej

When printing coupons can I set my printer to print more than one copy? Will the coupons be good?

      • VP22

Unfortunately, no. Each coupon has a unique code. The coupon might actually scan but it would be considered fraud.

    • Wanda

I have two questions: 1) Where can I purchase coupon inserts? 2) I can NEVER find the $3/3 Hallmark cards, $1.99+, (CVS Store Coupon). Are these only available in certain areas? Thanks in advance for your help.

      • Danyeln

I am very fond of Coupon Beat for both clipped and whole inserts. Reasonable handling and shipping rates too. The Hallmark card coupons are available to print on the CVS website BUT if your store carries American Greetings like mine does you may not see the Hallmark Coupon.

      • Danyeln

    • Victoria Payne

I had a good early Sunday morning at CVS! I purchased 2 Herbal Essence and two Dove (shampoo and conditioner each), two Arm and Hammer Spin Brush toothbrushes, two bottles of Propel water, two packs of Orbit gum, three bottles of Aveeno lotion, two Colgate sensitive teeth toothpaste, Two large Crest Whitening mouthwash, Calendula cream and 4 big bags of M$Ms—-and my total was $14 and change. Approx .68 per item :)

    • Ev

Beware of the Boron Calendula deal. I was unable to use the printable coupon or the coupon on the item due to the item being on sale. The register kept saying item not found and my CVS wouldn’t override it even though they couldn’t find anything on the coupons making them invalid.

      • JS

That’s weird. I think it is up to the store’s discretion when a coupon won’t scan, but my cashier entered mine manually. However, she neglected to ring up one of my Propel waters. I didn’t check my receipt until I was already home, but I didn’t get the Extra Bucks for my waters. :(

    • RWB

I went to CVS yesterday and tried to do the Rimmel deal. It would only accept 2 of the 6 coupons and they said they really didn’t know why but thought it could be because of the buy one get one half off sale. I can’t find anything saying that would affect it. Also didn’t print my $5 ECB for the dove/herbal essences deal but they did get that fixed. Any thoughts on why the Rimmel deal wouldn’t work? I made sure I had the correct products for the coupon.

      • VP22

Rimmel coupons are known for being funky. I had issues at multiple stores so it definitely wasn’t you.

As far as Dove/Herbal Essence, glad they fixed that for you. The problem was that Herbal Essence was not part of the deal. The deal was Dove, Suave and Tresemme. If you look at the print ad or a device with a larger screen, you will notice that there was a divider between them. The issue was that the divider line was very faint and the color of the blocks looked so similar that many people thought they were in the same deal.

      • Toni Woodbury

Whenever that happens (coupons get rejected), I contact the product manufacturer and tell them which store wouldn’t honor their coupon and why (in this case, because the coupon wouldn’t scan). I just tell them I wanted them to be aware of my experience, and that is all.

I do this because maybe it is something they can fix on their end.

    • towana cox

went in and got 6 scrubbing bubbles 4 windex 30.00 used coupons 3.00 off and 4.oo off got a e-mail 6.00 off 30.00 was 17.00 then used my 10.00 x bucks from last week pd 7.64 then got 10.00 back x bucks for next week love cvs and jenny the only way to shop

    • Becky5

Here in Atlanta there are 2 different deals for the household products. I purchased 2 Scrubbing Bubbles, 2 Shout, 2 Windex, 1 Arm & Hammer and 1 Cottonelle. My total before coupons was over $30, but I did not get any ECB on my receipt. Receipt showed I need to spend $12 on some items and $17 on others to get the ECB. I will certainly be getting more items, but wanted to give others a heads up!

Are the CVS ads regional? The past two months I’ve been getting incredibly frustrated at what used to be my favorite store! I always prep my trip with the match ups here at Southern Savers, but lately I’m finding that all the prep is for naught because my store doesn’t have some of those ECB deals you have listed. I never had this problem before the last two months or so! What am I missing??

      • Danyeln

They have been trying out some new things with ads in various regions. Up until a couple months ago my area was getting mini ads, so only about half the things in Jenny’s match-ups were actually in my ads. I believe someone mentioned that they were testing 2 week long ads in some other areas. What I did to get through was making my list here at Southern Savers then going to the CVS website and looking at my local ad to see what was on there that I needed. It sucks though I know. Good Luck!

Thank you! Yeah, that’s what I’ve started doing as well. Still love my CVS!

Problems with ECBs in Charlotte, NC region! Had to call corporate three times, then had a conversation with a very nice cashier who informed me that CVS is working on changes that may be causing printing issues for ECBs (apparently there are people out there RUINING it for us just trying to save by buying ECB offers then returning items BUT keeping ECBs) Now most cashiers won’t override if a coupon wont scan or manually print ECBs that don’t print automatically…. : /

      • mcleodsc

Stores can refuse returns on ECB items unless ECBs are surrendered. The store here will override coupons that won’t scan-they keep a running list of coupons that won’t scan. Sometimes it is the manuf. fault for coding the coupon wrong. I still have to call if an ECB doesn’t print out.

Had a nice trip today. Bought 6 Revlon Lip Balms (one in each flavor at $4.79 ea.) and 2 Crest Brilliance ($7.79 ea.) Used a 30% off CVS coupon (received by email) and a $2 off 2 Colgate or any other toothpaste CVS coupon. Paid $29.62 out of pocket and received $31.00 in ECB’s. Got $44.32 in free merchandise plus transaction was a $1.38 money maker!

      • Lisa_in_Tampa

did you have to use 4 different CVS cards, says limit 1 on Revlon

        • GUEST

i believe you misunderstood the ad. the ad reads a limit of 1 ECB reward. (not purchase of 1 revlon lip)

        • Beth

Sorry for not seeing your question last week. My store had a limit of 6 for the ECBs. I just have one CVS card and got $24 ECBs for the lip balms.

On buying the Suave items beginning 5/14, are we still able to use the coupon for Buy any 2 Suave hair care product and get 1 free, expires 5/14? Is the 14th the last day you can use it or the 13th? Can you combine it with the $2/2?

      • Sorry for the late response. Yes you could have use it on the 14. After the 14 it is no longer good.

You should contact Kimberly Clark and ask. The coupons and site seem legit to me.SOMETIMES CVS employees make it up as they go.

    • Quincy Sorensen

Is the coupon for Mars and Hershey candy really in the 9/24 SS insert? I’m brand new to couponing. I’ve combed it five times.

      • The inserts vary based on what city you are in. The bigger the city the more coupons are in that paper. I know it’s been in at least 10 papers os far with the regional variations we get. Have you entered your newspaper in your profile on the site so the shopping lists will only show the coupons in your area?

      • penny

Hi Quincy- I live in a small town and often times the coupons that should be aren’t in the paper, I usually order my coupons from a clipping service or ebay either by ordering single clipped coupons, batches of coupons or single/sets of inserts. It is just as cheap (if not more so) to order the coupons or inserts as it is to buy the paper or subscriptions to papers that may not have your inserts, ones that don’t arrive in your paper or have been picked over at stores!

Make sure to keep your eye out for a gum coupon from the coupon Machine B3G1 3.99
I used my coupon on Trident gum I got 5 packs for ONLY a penny!

    • Judy

Perhaps I’m missing things, but the Gillette deal would be better if bought alone?? In other words, if I bought one Gillette razor for $8.99 it would only be $5.99. If I don’t need the tissues, it doesn’t seem like a good deal to buy them together.

      • rrst

You would get 2 for $11.98 your way or 2 plus 2 tissues for 8.46 after the $5 back. If you only need 1 then 5.99 is cheaper, but cost per item, her way is better (4.23 per plus 2 free tissues).

    • Peggy L

I bought the 2 Frosted Flakes and 1 milk and it didn’t give me the extra buck. It also said the I still needed to buy 1 more so I don’t think the milk is part of the deal this time.

The Lubrigyn coupon is expired 5/2017

      • savannahm0m

Going on the Lubrigyn website I found a $5/1 coupon that expires 10/31.

    • heather malone-grippe

anyone know what zipcode the eucerin coupon is in?

    • Sandra Wallace

The Tide coupon on the PG site is limited to one per day. This is really going to mess up my plan to stock up this week. I wonder if the newspaper coupon is going to be the same?

    • heather

I am so disapointed!- The Excedrin deal is so great and i really wanted to stock up but at all my CVS store the price is $6.99 :(

    • Rebecca Bryant

Is anyone else having issues with their CVS not taking printed coupons? My manager has made it a policy that if a coupon does not scan they are to give it back regardless of it being printed from computer, red kiosk or from newspaper. If a coupon does not scan then cashiers can no longer punch it in. Am i the only one that has a CVS that is anti coupons?

      • M

CVS, Publix, Winn-Dixie…where I live, all of the stores seem to have become less coupon-friendly. Not just with restrictions. Annoyed looks from employees, etc. Generally hostile attitudes.

        • Rebecca Bryant

That is how my CVS is. So far my publix has been very good but CVS has literally told me I can not use coupon there anymore.

    • Allie

Regarding the Persil coupons – on the app it says “manufacturer coupon”, so how can you stack taht with a printed manufacturer coupon? I didn’t think that was doable.

      • You are right, you cannot combine 2 mfr coupons. But for the Persil deal listed above you get to use the $2 off CVS App coupon with the $3 off mfr. Hope that clears it up for you.

        • Allie

But in the app those coupons say “manufacturer coupon” – so they are not CVS coupons, they are manufacturer coupons available through the app. Is that not correct?

    • Misa

Do CVS coupons follow the 98% rule? I have a CVS coupon for $3 off a $12 purchase but the NYX deal is 2 for $11.98, is that good enough or will I need the extra two cents?
