This week we went to Kroger and CVS.  I did a tiny trip at Kroger just picking up some of the free pasta and chips and then ran to CVS for free toothpaste! I had hoped to make a bigger trip, but was only in town for a couple of days and just ran out of time.  Kroger always runs deals for two weeks so I have another week to run in and get the deals I wanted.

Kroger:
Total before coupons and sales: $14.86
Total Spent: nothing
Total Saved: 100%

I grabbed:  8 boxes of Ronzoni Pasta’s & 2 bags of Boulder Canyon Chips.  After coupons they were free, and in my area we do not pay tax on groceries!

CVS:
Total before coupons & sales:  $5.54
Total Spent: $1.54
ECB Remaining: $5.54

This was just the MaxFresh free toothpaste.  I even found this in stock on a Thursday night!

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.

My favorite deal this week was the Voila meals at Publix. B1G1 alreay. I had the FREE Family size Steamfresh Veggie coupons, plus I had three dollar off the voila meals publix coupons. So I bought THREE of them for $4ish each, got three free. (They are all delicious.) PLUS SIX free family steamfresh veggies. Need to eat from freezer next week. It is full!

I made a trip to Publix and bought 4 boxes of tampons and 3 BIC disposable razors for .74 cents.

I made 2 different trips to Kroger.

The first one I saved 90% and my original total was $24 and I spent $2.71

The second trip I saved 96% and my original total was $40 and I spent $2.47

      This week:
Publix $216.44 before taxes – paid $3.23 (savings of 98.6%) and includes $40.77 in gift cards still in my pocket as part of the profit from my purchases (so really made $37.54 PROFIT)

Kroger $247.62 before taxes – paid $24.28 (savings of just over 90%). If you include the overage from Publix I have still made over $13.

Walmart – bought a couple of fans with this purchase so I'm not going to give the total but I did save about 30% after coupons. If I include my total from Walmart then total I paid $34.08 total on total purchases of $531.24 (a TOTAL savings of 93.6% – paid 6.4% of the total purchases including all taxes).

Couponing is AWESOME! And I gave most of what I bought away (140 boxes of pasta, at least a dozen packs of razors, other HBA items). Not done yet this week – headed to Kroger and Publix tomorrow armed with my Qs. Wish me luck!

It's nice to see other couponers donate alot of their purchases. There are so many people that are in need. Great job for sharing!

Thanks – being a single guy I have no need for a lot of stuff (not to mention I live in a very small townhouse since it's just me and my cats :-) ) But it's the challenge to get my groceries for free or little cost and still be able to give so much to charity to help others that I enjoy so much. Long Live the Great Deal!

My favorite deal of the week was the purex detergent at Family Dollar. It was on sale for 3.50 and I had 9 3.00 off coupons. So I paid .50 plus tax for all 9. I also really enjoyed the ivory bar soap sale at CVS. I stocked up and won't have to purchase soap for some time. It was a great week!

Wasn't the 3$ off coupon for 150 oz. or more? I thought the family dollar $3.50 Purex was for there smaller one? Hopefully I am wrong!!

I just checked and you are right! It went through though. I didn't even see that until you brought it up. They let me use it……..

This week Publix paid me $3.19 to bring home $53.90 worth of groceries! I love seeing the look of the impatient people behind me in line when the cashier has to PAY ME!

I found $2.00 Wisk Coupons. Walmart has small Wisk (12 load) for .97. So that maks them money makers. Please be kind and don't shelf clear or take all the coupons off of the big size wisk…….

    • I just found wisk (12 load) at Wakmart for .97. If you have a 2.00 (no size indicated) coupon that was found on large Wisk, it is a money maker. Please be kind and dont shelf clear or take all the coupons off the large Wisk. :)
