Thanks so much! These lists are so helpful!

    • Allyson

My AJC ss 1/23 had a q for .25 off one cal of rotel. Makes it free!

      • Caroline

Mine had $.30/1 for Rotel. Overage!

    • Is there a way to delete coupons from my shopper card? If so how?

      • Denisee

Yes, go to the kroger.com were you loaded the cpn and remove from your card. I know that you can remove them but do not know how long-minute or days. I

      • Denisee

Yes, go to the kroger.com were you loaded the cpn and remove from your card. I know that you can remove them but do not know how long-minute or days. I

      • Rrbarr

I do not think so, as that is what I was taught in a coupon class I took. They will just have to expire or be used.

        • Thank u, mines overloaded :(

          • Stacie

You actually can on the Kroger website. View my coupons, active coupons, then on each one it will have a remove tab. :)

      • Mickie

If you have the Kroger app on a iphone (I don't know if it's available on other smartphones), you can remove e-coupons from your card.

      • Bee

I have looked on my Kroger account and some you can remove and some you cannot. I see a “remove” link listed under the coupons that can be removed. I think the ones added from cellfire can be removed there.

      • Mendy

If you loaded the coupon from Kroger's website you can delete it. If you loaded it from Cellfire, Shortcuts or PGesaver you have to wait for it to expire

    • Bee

I love getting Kleenex for .66! Tried the Marcal for free and it made me VERY grateful to have Kleenex.

Can't wait to see extra participating items, but I can tell Kroger started the New Year with the intent to increase prices. From what I can tell, anywhere from .20 to .40 extra per item.

      • Churchgirlfriday

I am with you on the kleenex! Some things are just worth paying some $ for!

      • Lalawhat

at publix on 01/19/2011 i go FREE kleenex

    • katie

In my Kroger ad (triangle area, NC), the 2% Kraft American singles are a part of the mega event – $.99 (after discount). If you use the printable q in the database, that makes for FREE cheese slices.

      • Lovescoupons

        What printable q?

        • katie

I replied with the link, but those sometimes get lost in moderation forever. So if you don't want to wait for it to come up, scroll to the top right of this page, click on “coupon database” and type “kraft 2” in the search box. The first q that comes up has the link for $1 off any 2% Kraft cheese slices. There was also a $.75 q in the 1/9 SS that would make it just $.24 which is still pretty good. :)

          • Lovescoupons

THANK YOU!!! I learned something new today. I never knew that existed. Thanks again! I really appreciate it.

    • Alexamezzo

For the Mega sale, when it says “price listed is after discount” does that mean when it says that Hunt's tomatoes are $.49, that that's only if you buy ten and get the discount? Or does that mean I can buy ten cans for free (which doesn't really make sense)?

      • katie

The .49 is only if you buy 10. Otherwise, it's .99 each.

        • Alexamezzo

          Thanks!

    • Dianne

Does Original Silk Pure Almond almondmilk taste like regular milk? Is it good?

      • susansaver

It does not taste exactly like real milk. It's creamy and has an almond flavor. I like it but it's not a substitute for the real thing.

      • couponmonster

it's definitely a thicker consistency, i sometimes mix it with real milk to cut the viscosity a bit…it is NOT a direct substitute!

      • Michelle

you can get it in vanilla flavor so it tastes a little sweeter (more like soymilk). i love it.

      • RaeBerr

It's sweeter and my little one LOVES it…She likes regular milk as well-but will BEG for almond milk.

      • Frugal Student

No. It is sweet. It's pretty good but definitely much sweeter

      • Rebecca U

We buy it for mixing purposes. Really good for Protein Shakes and Chocolate milk. Other than that we can't stand the taste, but it beats the price of Lactose Free milk when we are making our shakes.

      • Susanizanurse

Our kids love it but they’ll drink anything w/ choc syrup added to it! I bought the “dark chocolate” flavor last time (8 of them + 2 of the vanilla) & we use a TAD of it then fill the rest of their glass with fat free milk. They LOVE it. I will tell you that this won’t freeze at.all. as it seperates when thawed. I always buy Smart Balance & our reg FF milk & freeze them as I buy in bulk but the almond milk (Almond Breeze stuff anyway) will not freeze.

    • Redsheff

If i buy 10 cans of tomatoes, will i get $5 back? I don't shop at Kroger but this seems like a good deal.

      • SavinStacey

Yes, but keep in mind that the $5 back is applied in the listed price above. So you will actually buy 10 cans @ 99c/ea. The $5 will be taken off at the bottom of your receipt which really makes the cans 49c/ea (as listed above).

      • Jilljova77

Yes, and the price she has listed will be the price for each can after the 5.00 comes off.

    • Pevadiva

Went to Kroger tonight (Hartselle, AL). They have Biltmore Caesar salad dressing on closeout for $2.39 originally $3.99. I had an ecoupon for B1G1 free so I paid $1.20 each.

      • LauraSNixon

There were also coupons in a past circular for $1 off a bottle. I was able to use 2 coupons plus the ecoupon for B1G1. Total was 2 for $.39.

        • Bee

Did you like it? I got it for a steal, too and I usually love Biltmore products but could not tolerate the dressings.

    • jen

How do I get the Kroger home mailer? I use my plus card all the time and my address is listed on my on-line account. Does my physical store have to have my address as well? I am in TX, so maybe this is a regional thing which TX isn't a part of?

      • Ellenbeth

I live in TX and get kroger homemailers. I think I remember calling to verify my address and I wanted to receive the ad in my mail, and also asked to be sent coupons. I did eventually start receiving coupons, but have not ever been mail the ads, which I didn't mind too much bc I look at them online now.

      • Kristina

Hi Jen and Elienbeth. I posted above but wonder if you know if the ad above applies to us for 1/19-1/25 or 1/26-2/1? Thanks!

        • thebigredpot

          Type your comment here.1/26-2/1

      • princesskristin

I got on the mailing list when I called to update my address and telephone number. I'm outside of Houston.

        • jen

Thanks for your replies, Kristin & Ellenbeth. Who did you call — your local store? A corporate number?

    • Megan

Where has the the Philadelphia tearpad been spotted?

      • Publix, was near the 20 pack coke products at my store..Had some other coupons on it too.

    • CLK75

Any prices worthy of an “ACORN”??? I look for those to decide the best deals!?!?

      • Hayleyb323

That's what I was wondering. I love the acorns. It helps break down the list and not make it look so overwhelming.

    • Miocco

Does mix and match mean I can buy one of each item listed as a mega item and as long as I have ten I get the discount, or do I have to buy 10 of each item or 10 from a certain category?

      • Dianne L

Buy any combo of 10 items you want to buy!

      • Michelle

        Any 10

    • Is there a limit to how many $5 off per transaction?

    • Dtreece07

In the past we were able to see the Ad Scans. Is that still possible? I'm a visual person. lol

    • Kristina

In Texas, my sales run Wednesday to Tuesday. Does anybody know if the 1/23-1/29 ad discussed above applies in Texas from 1/19-1/25 or 1/26-2/1? Thanks!

      • Darla

I'm in MO, and Kroger ads discussed here we see a few days later. So we'll get to shop this Mega Sale on 1/26. Helps me get all my coupons ready! :)

        • thebigredpot

I do the wed-tues ad for the Kroger Delta region (arkansas, ms and memphis,tn )

      • Traci

I'm in North TX, and this is the same ad, it just starts on Wednesday for us!

      • Jnn_horan

        1/23-1/29 ad will run11/26-2/1 …. you're getting a 3 day heads up!!!

      • Jnn_horan

        typo error 1/26-2/1

    • momsewsx4

my kroger in powell,tn has hair color marked on clearance for $3.40 with $2.00 coupon makes it $1.40

      • Miocco

        What brand?

      • Becca_62400

What brand is it and what paper is the Q?

    • Laura

Although listed under “organic” here, most SILK products are not organic anymore. The ones that are will be labeled ORGANIC across the front- they are in a greenish colored carton.

    • Couponingburdettes

When it says can be used multiple times in one transaction is there a limit or could I by 30 items and get 15.00 off. I am not talking about 30 of the same item but definitely mixing and matching

      • LauraSNixon

You can do multiple groups of 10 in one order. Just make certain you count exactly in multiples of 10.

    • Smartforgood

Im sure you can use the $2.00 of Tampax coupon and purchase those for $1.00

    • Jennifer

The other day, my local kroger has a package consisting of Olay body wash, Olay lotion, Secret scent expressions body spray and Secret clinical strength deodorant for $10 for the Winter Holidays. Since it is a month past Christmas, it was marked down to $5. I had a coupon for $1 off Secret deodorant and $2 off any Olay product, thus I got my originally $10 package for $2!

    • fran

      Does Kroger take Target coupons?

      • Sandy

No. They do not take competitors coupons.

      • karen

I used a Target coupon for ore-ida 2.00 off just a few min ago and they took it as a com. coupon.

    • Stacie

There is also a Kroger ecoupon for $1.50/2 M & M's. Use that and the one from the insert would make them .79 cent each.

    • Couponshandy

Mega event question: above, it says “price listed is after discount”. Is this the price AFTER you get your 5$ back or after you get your “kroger card” discount?

      • thebigredpot

after both your Kroger discount and the $5 off :)

    • Amysuarez7

do you get $5 off for every ten items you buy or just the first ten

      • Amy T

For every 10 items. My store has no limit, but I think some stores have a limit of 3 deals per transaction.

    • LauraSNixon

During the mega sale, coupons for free items are redeemed at the item price before the mega event savings. I went to my Kroger this morning and got 7 cans of rotel & 3 cans of Hunts diced tomatoes and it was all free plus tax. B3G1 free rotel Q came off as $1. Paired with the $1/3 Q, it made all 4 cans free.

      • Kristy

Thank you for sharing this. I have been trying to figure out what to buy to get the absolute best deal. Sounds like you have a great deal here!

    • Lauramueller15

I went this morning for some Mega Event shopping and found that my Kroger (Goodlettsville TN) had the items, but the prices were all about .20-.30 more per item than what Jenny had. For example, the Kleenex were 1.19 after the Event pricing, not .99, the Mott's was 1.79, not 1.49. Still decent deals, but annoying, nonetheless.

      • june

regional princing. After using this site to shop for a few months, you figure out/remember what your local prices are and then you'll have no suprises. I agree, it is a let down, but what can you do? It costs less to ship to Jen's region than it does to ours, I guess.

      • Mmleininger

I have the exact same problem in Hendersonville, TN. Guess they like to raise the prices in our neck of the woods. And I agree, its annoying.

    • Jennifer4479

Don't sometimes these mega events happen for two weeks in a row?

      • Amy T

        Yes, they usually do.

    • Tina

Where do you get the Kroger booklets or sign up for home mailers that are listed in the coupons under the items?

      • Kspeacher

Tina, make sure your card is registered online (kroger.com) and you’ll get them automatically.

    • Lkrawson3

Went to my Kroger to get the Kellog's Special K and that is the only cereal they do not have for $1.99 and the bars are not on sale. I asked and the pulled the newspaper ad and said it was not on there.

    • Kspeacher

Just got back from my Kroger in Spring Hill, TN – found Airwick I motion sensors on the clearance rack for $4.99 (usually $9.99). Used $3 off coupon for a great deal on 5 of these!
Also found on close out Sensodyne ProNamel Childrens toothpaste for $1.49. use $1 off coupon and you've got a great deal. Also, found cinnamon wisp on close out for $1.19 – used $1 off coupon for that… good deals today on close outs and clearance with the Mega deal made for a great day off shopping.

    • Couponshandy

Need clarification, I do not know why this is stumping me! Above, it says Rotel tomatoes are 49cents. Is that how much they are on sale for, and if I choose to buy 10 participating items then I ALSO get 5$ off all 10 items? Or is it that i have to buy the 10 items, and the Rotel is priced at 49 cents because I did so? Thanks!

      • Reba

No the .49 cents is with the 5.00 off.so they would have to be part of ten.
        there is 1.00 off 3 so 3 for 49 cents, good deal.–rebecca

    • Tara

Actually the Rotel Tomatoes had a coupon in this weeks paper for $.25 which double where i am in Ga for $.50…they are $.49 when you buy 10 participating items which makes them free!!!!

    • Beth M

Does Kroger limit the number of the same coupon you can use? (At Harris Teeter it is 3 of the same coupon. I don't shop at Kroger enough to know their policy though!)

      • Tara

As far as I know…No they don't. Unless the coupon states so. Like the new P&G coupons say they limit 4 like coupons.

        • Beth M

          Thanks, Tara!

          • Tara

            your welcome!

      • Maria

nope, i made a special order of the yakisoba noodles a few weeks back to donate, i ordered 120 and i had 120 50c coupons that all doubled with no problem.

        • Leigh Ann

How do you get 120 coupons?

      • Loyal2disney

It depends on your store. My Kroger will only allow 2 IP's of the same item, but otherwise they will take multiple q's for the same item. HTH!

    • Tts829

I am not a frequent Kroger's shopper so I have a question that may sound “dumb”. To get the $5 off on ten participating items . . . . does this apply ONLY to ten items? If I buy 20 participating items, do I get $10 off? and so on? What if I buy 13 items?

      • Beth M

If you buy 2 sets of ten you get $10 off, 3 sets of ten $15 off, etc. You don't any extra for incomplete sets. That is my experience at least!

      • Gardnershara

yes, yes, and if you buy 13 you only get $5 off like you bought 10 items

      • Tara

They have to be in 10 incriments ??SP??

    • Lisa

Just an FYI – for the Crest toothpaste, the P&G 1/16 insert has a coupon but it is for $.75 off not a $1 off. Unfortunately, I don't have the 12/26 insert which has the $.50 off coupon because that would double :(

      • katie

Some regions did receive the $1 off. I was one of the unfortunate ones that didn't, though.

      • Mom of 4

The $.75 one will go up to $1.00 too…. Kroger doubles up to a dollar… your receipt will show .75 off with a store match of .25

        • Triplettk

Kroger in the Raleigh, NC area only doubles up to .50.

        • Kris

kroger in Myrtle Beach only doubles to 50 cents also.

    • Michele

How do I get the Kroger Home Mailer Coupons??????

      • Cchas

I would like to know how to get the Kroger home mailer as well:)

        • Maria

I called Kroger about getting the home mailers one time and was told that it is computerized, after you reach a certain point of spending it will send you one, thats why you may notice your neighbor getting one and you not, but the guy didnt know the certain amount you had to reach to trigger the computer to mail you one out.

          • coupon freak

The Kroger home mailer coupons are not very good. They always say save on 2 and they don't double. Everyone gets different coupons and I have found one person my get a free item as others don't I think sales should be offered to everyone and be the same. P.s. Their employee's do not get as good of offers as non employee's but they spend their pay checks there!

            • RRRFam

Ever notice how the home mailer coupons are for lots of the items you usually buy? And maybe a high value coupon on a different brand of something you typically buy? The transactions you do with any company that provides a loyalty card discount are being tracked and that's what generates the particular coupons you receive at home.

    • Karribug

I just went to my kroger account it says I have shop and save points. How do I use them?Help Please!

      • Kristy

When you have 100 pts. You can scan your card before you use you debit/credit card when buying gas at any shell station. It will save you 10 cent per gallon.

    • Igot5ltlboyz

      Dear Ms. Jenny,

I love the list, but may I ask, in a sweet, tiny whisper, of course, where are the little acorns? They help me so much!!

      • Maria

Jenny puts the acorns on the free items, or the items that are at their lowest price. so Stockpile!!!

    • Leigh

I stood in the cereal aisle forever this afternoon and saw absolutely NOTHING about Kellogg's cereals being $1.88. I have the Kroger mega event circular in front of me and see nothing about it there, either. Are we sure that is the correct price for the cereal? Is it in print anywhere?

      • katie

Don't forget that different regions have different sales. There are things on sale in my region that aren't in her list and I'm sure vice-versa.

    • Kris

It has been a while since I've shopped at Kroger. Are you allowed to use a coupon that is loaded onto your Kroger card and a paper manufacturer coupon at the same time? I remember in the past you could, but was curious if it would still work? Thanks!

      • CouponNERD

It depends on the store. Here in Columbia, SC none of the locations seem to notice my e-coupons at all. So, I double up all the time with paper coupons on top of the e-coupon.

        • gwhiz

The one on Two Notch told me I could not use an e-coupon along w/a manufacturere coupon. When I complained to the manager that two of my friends came in and used both, I was told that if it rings up they will let it go but if the comp. beeps and says you have too many coupons you will be given your coupons back –
          It's ridiculous.

    • TJ

I just got back from the Maumelle, AR Kroger and they have some of their Christmas baking supplies at 75% off. I got Gold Metal self-rising flour (5 lb bag) for 82 cents, Arm & Hammer baking soda for 22 cents, boxes of Domino brown sugar for 41 cents and almond bark ( 1 lb) for 70 cents. Our church is having a food drive so this was perfect timing.

      • vic

thanks for the heads up TJ-did you have to use any coupons to get these great prices?

        • TJ

No, that was just the markdown price without coupons.

    • Clarar60

I miss the little acorns alot….. I'm alwasy looking for those

    • E_lesh_a

im abit confused, you can use a IP and a eCoupon on one of the same item?
So if i get 4pregresso soups with a $1off 4 cans and my kroger eCoupon on 50cents off 2, i can get the dollar off and the 50cents off those 4 cans?

      • Whitneysparks

Some stores are not allowing ecoupons and paper coupons. You'll just have to try it and see. My Kroger still allows for this to happen. If your ecoupon came off the item, it should show directly below the purchase on your receipt. The paper coupons will print at the BOTTOM of your receipt.

    • couponNERD

It depends on the store. Here in Columbia, SC none of the locations seem to notice my e-coupons at all. So, I double up all the time with paper coupons on top of the e-coupon.

    • Kathycakes1

Is anyone else having trouble loading the Hunt's tomatoes ecoupon on to your Kroger card? Also, just want to say what a wonderful site this is!!! I “shop” all the web-based sites and this is by far the best (and the most consistently accurate) that I have found. Thanks to everyone for doing such a great job – you truly make a big difference in the lives of many, many people!!!!

      • susansaver

I had some trouble with it wanting me to log in and then everytime I tried, it wouldn't load the log in page (the funny thing was that I was already logged into my Kroger account). I got it to work by logging out and then reloading the Hunts page. Also, there's a B1G1 free ecoupon if you refer 3 people link on the Hunts page. I was able to load both coupons and bought 6 cans yesterday with both applied to my transaction. The B1G1 took $1 off so paired with the $1/3 or $0.45/3 that doubles, it makes for overage!

      • Kittenfaucher

        yes i gave up

      • xiaoguner

Me too having trouble loading the Hunt's tomatoes eQ to my Kroger card. Are they out?

      • I was able to get it just now without any problem.

    • Mking3247

in my 1/23 SS insert their was a .25/1 rotel which would make 4 rotels free using the b3g1 and the .25/1.

      • Pepsi1williams

The 25 off one doubles so it makes it free with out theb3g1 coupon

    • Le

Just went to my Krogers and they have nothing marked for the mega sale. I asked the cashier and she just gave me the flyer and said the sale was going on, but no signs. Very confusing especially for items like cereal where there are only certain ones included in the sale. Don't think Kroger wants me to get my $5 off

      • Whitneysparks

Are you sure that your sales have already started? Jenny's sales start on Sundays, but I live in TX and mine will not begin until Wednesday (2/26).

    • Couponingburdettes

I asked a Manager at my Kroger on Diamond causeway in Savannah about the mega event. he said I could only take advantage of this once per transaction. Are you running into the same problems?

      • Maria

I just left Kroger and did 2 transactions with no prob in middle TN

      • lunchlady123

It says on the website that you can do mulitple Mega Events per transaction. You may want to go back and explain that to them…..

      • Sb

There's a million megaevent items I can't imagine them only limiting people to one. Did you find out anything different?

      • itismedia

Try another Kroger. I am on the SS and use the one on 17 and the one across from Sav Mall, neither ever limit me. I have even had a manger bagging my groceries and comment on how well I did with multiple ME items and coupons. Good Luck!

    • susansaver

I had a ecoupon loaded on my card for $5/5 Keebler or Sunshine brand cracker or cookies. I can't remember when this was available to load (around the holidays maybe) but it expires on 1/31. It pairs well with the Keebler cookies and Cheez-Its as part of the mega event. I got 2 Keebler cookies and 3 Cheez-Its and it took the $5 off so you can mix and match.

      • sharon60

Thanks for mentioning this. I've tried to figure out how to use that $5/5 Keebler/Sunshine ecpn. Maybe I will try it today.

    • Lkmc88

There is a .50/2 for Philadelphia cream cheese on the Kraft website

      • I just looked and couldn't find it. Did you find this recently or a while ago? Maybe it is no longer available.

      • Sldouglasace

There is also 1.00/2 Philadelphia cream cheese in the Game Day Playbook.

If I buy 3 Rotels, can I use a $1/3 coupon and a .25/1 coupon? Or do I have to buy 4 to use both coupons?

      • Maria

U have to buy 4, where did u get the .25/1 coupon?

        • mj

Ok, thanks! I got it from the 1/23 SS.

    • quest

What unadvertised mega event items have you found? I am heading out to Kroeger this afternoon and wondered what I should look for.

    • JessicaJ

The hormel chili coupon ($0.55/2) from SS 11/07 expired on 01/03/11.

    • Cami White

Can I get rain checks for mega event deals and still get the $5 off if I buy ten or is it this week only?

      • Cynthia

Yes I have done this several times. You just have to purchase 10 of those items with rain check.

    • Marnieh

I just got back from Kroger and I found 2 books with coupons there. One is Guys Gameday Playbook with 5 coupons. 1.00 off 2 philly cream cheeses, $1 off 2 Kraft cheeses, $1 off 2 Nabisco Crackers, $1 off Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh meats and $1 off when you buy Velveeta and Ro-Tel. The other is a Special K Challenge booklet and it has $10 of Special K coupons. They both have recipes too.

      • where did you find these? Were they sitting out or did you have to ask at customer service?

        • Marnieh

They were on the breakfast aisle.

    • Syren026

Just a heads up because I am not seeing it anywhere, but at the Kroger in Sugar Hill Georgia Hebrew National Hot Dogs are part of the Mega Event and were on sale for $2.99!

    • I just noticed I have a $1 off Silk e-cpoupon already loaded on my card so that and the $1 off printed coupon would make it free. Not sure when I loaded it but I don't see it available anymore.

      • Same thing just happened to me . . . I didn't remember loading it but I'm about 100% sure it was FREE (with the $1.00 off printable)! YAY for FREE Silk Almond Milk!!!

    • Kathycakes1

Yeah! Thanks to Lindsay I just tried again w/ the Hunt's ecoupon and it FINALLY worked!!!!! Now if just that M&M coupon would print! LOL

    • Ltriplett

Can u mix and match any 10 items from any section to get the 5 off? For example 5 from frozen and 5 from household??

      • Yes, you can mix & match it all . . .as long as it's all a part of the Mega Event!

    • Whtiger219

Used what I learned at the coupon class 1/16 in Knoxville. I was usually saving around 30%. I saved 48% on my order and had several things that were on sale but no coupon. This really works.
You can buy any assortment of items as long as you have 10 items all together you save $5.00 so 5 frozen and 5 household would be just fine. Food City does theirs different, but Kroger's usually will let you mix and match as long as you buy the required amount of items.

    • strawnfam

Thanks so much for doing this. I'm just starting with couponing, and your site is very helpful!

    • Sisterash

I'm a newbie…once I print off my shopping list, do I still need to print off individual coupons?

      • Yes, the list is just a list . . . but it tells you where to locate the coupons!

    • Cheshirecats4

Almost free vitamins. All You,( February) has a bunch of high value Nature Made coupons. They are buy one get one free, which means if you buy one it will ring up half price. (I love that about Kroger). Fish Oil was $4.84, used $4 coupon. Vitamin D was $2.14, used $3 coupon. Calcium was $3.49, used $3 coupon. CoQ2 was $6.24, used $6 coupon. I paid less than $1 for 4 bottles.

    • Cheshirecats4

Watch the register receipt at Kroger. I had 80 (yes I counted) mega-event items. Receipt showed they only subtracted for 7 ($35). I just let it slide since I didn't want to argue with the service desk. They have actually made me pull items out of my bags before.

      • Jan

Look for a [+] on each mega item line of your receipt. If you thought you had 10 cans of tomatoes, but only 9 are on your receipt, check that you brought 10 home. It could be the cashier missed ringing up one can. If so, go to the service desk and explain. They can fix it for you.

      • Kjestrada

Someone I know suggested taking your cloth reusable bags with you and placing 10 items in each bag as you shop so that you can keep track of what you've purchased.

      • Bee

I would make the effort to get my $5. But, it could be something like the cashier did not ring up 5 of the items, so you have to figure out if you would come out ahead having them charge you for those items and getting the $5.

I think just about every other time I go to Kroger, they either don't ring up an item or they ring one twice and don't notice. Last time we were driving home and I said to my husband “They charged us twice for the toilet paper.” He said “How much was it?” “6.99” He just about did a u-turn in the middle of the street so we could go back and get our money. At another Kroger I don't usually go to, the cashier wanted to argue that I couldn't count when she didn't ring up a Sobe and her mistake cost me $4.50. I had counted them about 6 times while shopping. .

    • Total came to $42 and I got it all for $7.07 . . .needless to say I'm happy! Thanks Jenny!

    • newatthis

My Kroger ad for Jackson, TN comes on Wednesday and runs Wed – Tues. Many items line up with this list, but mine has extras, is missing some, and different items., ie. mine has Sanderson Farms Chicken Breast for 1.97/lb rather than Tyson for 1.19/lb.

Any advice, comments – I'm new at this. But did get four cans of Hunt's tomatoes for at total of six cents yesterday!!

      • Hey newatthis! I don't have an answer for you, but I'm in Henderson, TN and was wondering the same thing! I'm just getting into this as well. Glad there's someone close by in the same boa!

      • itismedia

I would make your list using Jenny's list and then compare it to the digital Kroger ad for your area, but remember not all of the items on sale are in the ad. There are too many! There can be some differences, but mainly you will see them in meat and produce. HTH

Are there any southern savers shoppers in Galax VA? I live in Winston Salem and am thinking about making the trip to Galax for this sale. Any tips or suggestions would be wonderful? How are the store employees? Is the store normally wiped out like the first day of double coupons at HT or do they stay pretty well stocked? Thanks so much!!

    • Sherry_scott_1975

Thank you. I could have cried with joy when I saved my family 329.27 today. I did it using your site. It means so much to a family of 6 to receive your help.

While I was at Kroger, they had some Tide 64 load on manager special for 4.99. I used my 1.00 PG cpn. Tide for 3.99 was another bonus for today. Thank you, Sherry

    • MomofKLA

In the Atlanta Journal coupons, there was a 25 cent off Rotel coupon which makes Rotel free this week! It was in SS 1/23.

    • Patty

This is for anyone in Norcross or Peachtree Corners Ga. The Kroger on Peachtree Parkway is closing on Feb 19th. They have 50% off cookware, hardware, pantyhose, socks, lightbulbs and a scattering of canned items(mostly larger sizes)

    • Brewer Carl

thanks so much for this site! i just came back from Kroger, paid $78 and saved $82. My husband is so happy, that i save at least 50% every time i go grocery shopping, that he told co-workers and they are trying to get their wives to get together with me to do their shopping. :)

    • Lolly

Has anyone had problems with Kroger taking coupons that give you more then $2 off. I had the coupons for $3.99 off New Yorkl Products chips and bagle chips and the cashier refused to let me use it. I called the store after I left and they said I could use it., I thought I could but the cashier said they dont take more the $2 off. Really? Has anyone else heard of this.? I did not see it in the policy

      • itismedia

If the store said you could use it when you called then I would take the coupon and the receipt to CS and have them take it off. They should do that, no problem.

      • nicole

my kroger will not take high value “printable” but will take the regular clipped coupons for any value. also they will not take a printable for any free item.

    • Fgavent

FYI – I did receive the catalina for buying the Chex Mix. Several websites have listed the end date for the catalina as 1/23. Although, I bought four bags, I received a $1.50 catalina (not $2.50). I love Chex Mix so I was happy to just get a catalina.

      Buy 3, get $1.50; Buy 4, get $2.50; Buy 5+, get $3.50 off Catalina (ends 1/29)

    • itismedia

Does anyone have a copy of the most up to date Kroger coupon policy they can send me? I just had a friend call and ask me a question (she uses a different Kroger than I do), but she had a problem and they were saying it was “corporate policy” They would not show her the policy. The one Jenny links to is dated 2007 and I cannot find it on the Kroger site for some reason. THANKS!

Does Kroger not accept a store coupon(one that prints out after you make your purchase) along with a manuf. coupon for one single item? I went tonight and the clerk was kind of rude and told me that you can't use a store coupon stacked with a maufactured coupon for one item. It was for the finsh quantum dishwasher capsules. They are part of the mega event and I had a $1 off from the Sunday paper and a Catalina for $0.75 off. I'm thinking about returning them tomorrow. He made me mad. I know I'm being silly, but I'll show him, j/k

      • itismedia

        One of two things happened…
        1. Your store may not allow stacking. Call CS or stop by when you're in to clarify.
        2. Not all the coupons that print out at the register are store coupons. I have two that printed out tonight and they are both man. coups.

HTH I know I always hate not being able to save what I planned, even if it is only .75! =+)

      • Peyton-Leigh

If you look on the coupons printed out at Kroger, they will most likely say “Manufacturer Coupon” at the top or begin with a “5” or “9” which means it is a MC. They won't let you stack two MC so that's probably what happened.

    • Mumof3boys

Does anyone know if this mega sale runs for two weeks? :) TIA!

      • sharon60

If you go to customer(dot)kroger(dot)com you can look at the weekly ad for your area and on Saturdays, both this weeks and next are there. I looked today and yes it will run next week.
