Update: This appears to only be working without an over ride needed at stores in Florida.

Heads Up — there is a $5 off $50 purchase coupon available online in the Publix Weekly Ads for South Florida.  The fun part… the coupon clearly states “good at your neighborhood Publix”.  It’s good through Wednesday 11/24.

While I am not saying that this will work at every store, it “should” work since there is no specification of participating stores.

I’ve found this in the online ad for Miami, and Vero Beach ads.  Change your city to one of these areas, and click on the coupon tab to find it faster.

One Tip: Coupons like this should always be used first since your total may not be $50 after all other coupons and discounts.

    • Elizabeth

      Blessings! Thank you :)

    • Melanieplynch

This coupon is also in the weekly ad from last week for those of you in South Florida. They should still have some stacks of them in the stores.

    • Zookie55

      This is awesome! Thank you…………

    • Jodi

When you go to print the coupon, it has a button for emailing it to a friend. Not sure if that would help or not. I will try to use it today when I do my shopping, see what they say.

      Thanks

    • macboy

Got one in the mail this weekend in Orlando.

    • elizabeth

When I click on that link, I'm directed to the weekly ad and I don't see the coupon anywhere…anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!!

      • Make sure you change it to a store in south florida and then click on the coupon tab.

        • elizabeth

Thanks Jenny, I finally figured it out! I guess I'd need to cut the coupon out completely, so it doesn't show 'my location' as florida, huh? (I live in metro atlanta) I'm feeling kinda dirty about this, when I have to hide something…

          • moneysaved4disney

the coupon I printed doesn't have a location listed?? If they didn't want you to be able to use anywhere except FL, they could have listed that on the small print.

            • elizabeth

No, technically the coupon says 'your neighborhood publix'. But in order to get it to print, I had to put in another state's info, and then I would have to cut off the 'your location' part, which still lists a miami store. I'm not trying to sound judgemental or anything, I just go by my gut a lot, and to me, having to go to those lengths doesn't sit right.

        • blessedinsc

I went to the site and it specifically asks for “your” zipcode, not any zipcode. If Publix and any other coupon provider wants to provide specific coupons for certain areas, shouldn't we honor the company's right to decide how they want to distribute their coupons? I, for one, believe it is wrong to put in any zipcode other than “your” zipcode here or on any other site. Let's abide by their generous rules so we don't hurt the company, the current offerings of coupons or our own reputations as couponers.

      • elizabeth

Hmmmm, perhaps because I don't live in south florida. Sorry–I was so excited that I didn't read. LOL

      • TT

When you open up the ad, change your store location to Maimi, FL. Then click on the coupon tab to the right and it will show the coupon-just print.

    • Cmt261

      zip 33414 worked

    • Forpeepsakes

Awesome…headed out to Publix in a few anyway, glad I came back and checked on coupons. We live in Ft. Myers 33919, so I'll see if it works.

    • Carrie

I am in Tamarac and have been trying to print this all weekend to no avail. I click the link, but it doesn't do anything. Is there a special trick? Thanks for the help!

      • hsvmom3

When you say “click the link” what exactly are you meaning? How far are you getting in the process?

        • Carrie

I can get to the coupon, click on that, and it says in red “Your coupon is ready for printing.” :-) But when I click the green print coupon button, nothing happens. :-( I have tried using both laptops, thinking maybe my main one was not communicating with my printer, but neither one worked. Thanks again for any help you can provide! :-)

    • Jennifer

All you have to do is type in zip code 33414, then it will show you a list of stores in that area. Click the first one and then click on browse ad. Scroll to page 11 and you will see the coupon. Click on it and it will let you print it, my pc wouldn't let me print it in that stage, but I clicked on the actual coupon again and it zoomed it in and I printed it. You can print as many as you want like that, so you can use one and a family member.

      • Rebekah

        thanks jennifer this worked exactly!!!

      • ShuChin

        Thank you so much!!!!

      • Autumn

Thank you Jennifer!! I just entered the zip code you stated and it was right there on page 11!! Now I gotta go Shopping!!….lol

      • Coopers_mom_323

I did exactly what you said and it isn't there! If it was on the bottom right it has been replaced. Can someone email it to me?

    • STCUSTER

Used one in Marietta just yesterday….while they did ask where the coupon came from, they did let me use it! Woooohoooo!!! $5 off!

      • guest

Which store in Marietta? And what did you tell them?

    • Johne

I used this coupon 11/18 at my Publix in suburban Atlanta. The cashier input the LU# and the register said it was invalid. They called a manager over and just input it like a $5 Publix Q(I guess just overriding the system). The cashier was so nice, even apologizing for questioning the coupon!

      • Guest

because the coupon was only meant for Florida such a shame.

        • Blink_11

well then it shouldn't be a printable coupon that doesn't specify certain locations…

        • Ultrabextr

I live in SWGA, but our DC is in Jacksonville, FL, so instead of the Bulldogs coupon booklet and stuff my Georgia neighbors a mere 20 miles east of me receive, I get Gator crap! if ANYONE can print the coupon and it does not state “for use only in Florida” type of statement, then there is no foul play by us Georgians using it!

    • Carrie

Oh, I finally got it! I got frustrated and just kept hitting print, and it triggered something! LOL Thank you guys for the help!

    • Shayelyn

Already planning to go after I pick up my daughter from school so I am psyched! I live on the other side of Florida and did have to change my location to Vero Beach and there it was on page 11 of the ad. I went back to my local ad page 11 and they just have a little blurb there.

    • Coopheath

This coupon was in the publix weekly advert.. I got one in the mail and then made sure to tell folks I saw shopping on sunday about it.

    • ireneY

Okay, someone just confirmed the LU doesn't work in metro Atlanta, so it's obviously intended for certain Florida areas. Knowing that, using it otherwise seems unethical.

      • Cozmikcowgirl

oftentimes jenny will give us a ZIP to use on the redplum or smartsource or other coupon site to get a certain coupon. i've never read about anyone have an issue with feeling that was unethical to do that. i hadn't really thought of it being unethical until i read some of these posts. now… i don't know.

any opinions on that? should we only use “our own” ZIP? what if we shop several stores in several different ZIPs? is there a certain radius that we should honor when looking for coupons?

        • Ultrabextr

i get coupons in my sunday paper for products that aren't even SOLD down here! change the zip code!!!!!!!!! ur printing the coupon from where you stand, not from where the coupon is LOCATED!

    • kristen

Well this would be great to add to my $5 off $50 coupons I got from publix since I am a Dolphin season ticket holder. Only bad thing is the weekly Dolphin coupons start on the new ad dates (Thursday). I could have saved $10 off $50 if this one did not expire so quick…whomp whomp whomp..

    • ShuChin

Jenny- You are awesome, Thank you!!!

    • 1stTimeSAHM

Perfect! Worked like a charm here in Evans, GA!!! Thank you!

    • Blink_11

      I used it, no problem.

    • Michelle

While I admire some of you for your convictions, I also likewise think you all are being ridiculously silly with this “my ZIP code” and “feeling not right” about using something out of your area/state. It's not like you are fraudulently copying the coupon on a machine or altering it in any way…. So Publix makes you search for some coupons, but don't cover their end by excluding it to certain areas and this is on the consumer's conscience? By all means, feel good about something this week..I know I'll not miss any sleep over using a $5 coupon from a corporate store, not like it's Aunt Fay and Uncle Jimmy's country store or anything…

      • guest

        lame

    • Daleyfamily4

it does say “transfer of this coupon constitutes fraud” and saying you live in another area of Fla to get a coupon is in every sense of the word, fraud. So to each their own..

      • Shopperkat

I was just wondering if you also consider it fraud to change the zip code on coupons.com or redplum.com to print coupons not available under your zip. It would basically be the same thing….presenting a coupon not offered in your area.

      • Guest

Wow, just wow. I am sure there are people on this site who need to be out of necessity, others for the thrill of a deal. Being judgmental of people is not very becoming.

      • couponmom

I agree. Fraud is fraud whether it is carried out against a large corporation or a small “country store”.

      • Cozmikcowgirl

since there was the option to “email to a friend” i hardly think that would be considered fraudulent transfer of the coupon.

        • Ultrabextr

well then by golly EMAIL ME ONE! :)

    • Elyn Blackman

I used it successfully in Columbia, SC. The cashier had to have a manager over-ride it. I was honest about where I got it. I stated that my friend from another state sent me the link and I would understand if I couldn't use it. The manager put it through with no problem.

      • Melissa

Which store do you shop at?

    • Ang

Jenny, maybe you should post the guidelines again. Is it being dishonest to use a coupon intended for only a certain area? Maybe the stores owner issued it and other store owner are being hurt by it. Can you comment directly Jenny?

    • SavSmiles

Since a year ago, Publix coupon policy has definitely changed and gotten more strict. I try to use my $5 or $25 from Rite Aid at Rite Aid, Extra Bucks from CVS at CVS, etc. whenever possible. If it gets to be a “loser” for Publix, they will stop accepting competitor coupons, not put out the great $$ off in their ads, etc. When couponing, it is good to keep in mind that if “it is too good to be true” it won't last long….

    • Ksolak

I just used it today at the Publix in Woodstock, GA and they took it. I cut the coupon completely out and handed it to the cashier with all my other coupons!

    • Margie

zip is 33186, just an fyi

    • Dona

Here in the Orlando, FL area our Publix recently stated that all coupons, even if it were a PUBLIX coupon have to be AFTER coupons. They will not deduct any of these $5.00 off $25.00 or $50.00 until they have scanned all of your coupons. I even had a manager come over and he explained this was the NEW policy. Anyone else found this to be true?

      • Careycouponer

Definitely not. They always take mine off before.

    • Droper3

I live in Tampa Bay and it asked for my zip code. Could not get it to print. It was not in the mail edition that comes to the house. Sometimes they have them in there.

    • I hope to be able to use this coupon tonight in Cumming, GA. I do not have a moral problem using it because the coupon does not state that it is limited to certain stores/areas. As long as the cash register is programed to accept the code, I say “why not use it?”

      • LillieB

what zip did you use and what page is the coupon on

    • LillieB

Please help me find the coupon. What page is it located on?

      • Saradawson

click online coupon.when you get to publix site put your location in…then click 'change location' Page will give you an example 'MIAMI….AND THE CORRESPONSING ZIP!” Use the example and you will find the coupon in that paper 3rd or 4th page

      • Roodt

pg. 11 in the Miami ad 33144 I believe is the zipcode I used.

    • Patriciapersante

I have clicked on the link but cannot find anything about this $5 off coupon.

      • Mkkristis

Okay I tried the 33144 zip code and it worked! You have to pull up the weekly ad, not the coupons, and go to page 11. There should be a small icon in the botton right hand corner to print the page. Good luck hope this helps and hope it works at your store! This offer expires on Nov. 24th don't miss out!

    • Mkkristis

      • Chevan

there is a coupon there but it is for catering from the deli – could you tell us specifically which store in Miami you chose?

is it possible that it is gone already? or switched to the catering coupon?

    • Daveandpamsjolund

The $5 off $50 does not work at Columbia, SC Publix. They refuse to honor it. I go to the Rice Creek Publix off Hardscrabble. Thanks!

      Pam Sjolund

    • cammy

Well if someone could plz tell me if its still there (the 5 off 50) because I can't find it at all…thank you

    • Sandy

      LOOKS LIKE IT'S GONE. =(

    • cammy

Thanks I have found it :)

    • Rene

I found it using zip 33101. If you go to the coupons on the left side of page, not the top.

    • Diedrich

Worked in Sugar Hill, GA- Total bill was $163 and they took all 3 coupons first! THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • FLSam

I used it at my central FL Publix….I printed it from the Miami publix advertisement. The cashier couldn't use the code marked on the coupon, the manager came over and explained that it just wasn't issued from their area, but it was still a Publix coupon so they had no problem honoring it. If the store manager doesn't have a problem accepting it, then I don't have a problem using it.

    • Ddcrafter

      cannot find it anywhere…

    • BByers

Sadly the Franklin, TN Publix did not take the coupon tonight! :(

      • Jrtxgirl

        Spring Hill, TN took it

    • Joy

Sadly, the Publix in Vinings (Smyrna), GA did not take it either. Thanks for the post though!

    • mrsmadayar

I used one in Prattville AL today with no problems. The cashier put in the LU & it rang up immediately.

      • millie

thanks for that i am going in the morning and was sure hoping!

    • Flmparker

Page 11 lower right says, “Whether we're cooking or offering advise, we're experts at creating meals”, no matter which zipcode I use in the Miami area. No coupon there!

      • JKS

Yep, I'm thinking they removed it from the online ads, as I could not find it for Miami nor Vero Beach locations. :(

        • Tanya33462

in west palm beach it's in our weekly sale flyer …right when you walk in the doors…i didn't know it was there, but the clerk kindly told me about it :)

    • Toniarebecca

can someone email me the coupon. i have tried everything under the comments and nothing works. i have tried every zipcode and the coupon is not showing up. thanks toniarebecca@charter.net

    • I used this coupon at the Bradley Park Publix in Columbus, GA with no problems. The LU rang up just fine.

      • Leslieavon1585

        Where did you find it?

    • Elkboy

It went thru last night at the Goose Creek, SC Px with no problems and they let me stack and Rite-aid $4/$20 too!

      • myrt

Last week I stack a 10.00 piggly wiggly and the rite aid coupons

    • Lanierlori

I tried to use it in the Duncan Sc Publix. They had gotten emails about it being only in the Florida Ads and were telling people they cannot accept it. Technically it was not in the ads here. sorry people!! I liked the idea of using it, but I guess it wasnt meant for SC or it would have been in our paper. But they should have stated the area on the coupon!!

    • Zjqtcj

Publix seems getting a little stricter in my area (North FL). A few stores would not let you use -$5off/$50 or -5$/$25 before any other coupons and savings. So technically you have to spend $50 after all coupons in order to get a $5 off, which is hard.

      • elizabeth

Where in north florida do you live? I live in jacksonville and my local publix is so nice and very lenient. They always let me stack all my winn dixie and target coupons along with rite aid, walgreens and cvs!

    • Mzmargrita

It was a big fat no at the Publix in Lexington, SC. :(

      • Guest

The district manager sent an email saying not to accept it since it wasn't in the ad here.

      • kaseyshadow.com

It's worth your time to drive to the Harbison one. The one is Lex is the worst. I've never seen such rude CS people.

    • Lockmia

Can't find the coupon in the Miami ad

    • Renee'

My Publix in Tennessee, didn't except it either =-(

    • Klonghall

My Publix on Five Forks in Lilburn accepted it. I pointed out to the cashier (Luz, my very favorite!!!) that I found it on their website, and I wasn't sure if I could use it. She took it to the manager who looked over it, and said it was valid. He had to do an override, but they were so nice and gave me the $5 off!

    • Thiamaria

My cashier insisted on matching up all the Qs w/the products and ringing them throughout the transaction. I wish I had put my foot down & asked her to set aside the matched up ones & just ring them at the end. I ended up paying $6.55 for $75.76 worth of groceries. I was still completely thrilled & beaming- but how cool would it have been to only pay $1.55??

      • Ultrabextr

Next time get a manager over… Or after your transaction is complete, go to the customer service desk and tell them the cashier scanned all your coupons as the items were scanned and the register wouldn't then allow her to take off this coupon for $5 off $50, but the receipt clearly shows that i spent more than that…. they'll give you your $5!!!!!!! i LOVE my publix, but there are 2 cashiers that apparently just have some beef about me saving money!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Brandyandtravis

Do you have your listed transactions? I am curious to see it. i am trying so hard at publix and cant seem to save much.

    • Priscilla

I can't seem to find it. Have they removed it or am I looking in the wrong place? I tried following the tips below.

    • Teri

      Can't find it either. Teri

    • Skyline66

My Publix in Birmingham (Lee Branch) was willing to accept it, but I tried to stack it with Winn Dixie's $5 off $50 as well and they refused to take both of them. I was told that their store policy states you can only use one of those per transaction.

      • ChristiLeilani

I work for Publix and we will only take one $5 off $50 if you have less than a $100 total. If your total before coupons is $100 or over, they should take both of the coupons. Make sure your cashier takes your coupons at the end of your order so they can see how much your total is before the rest of your coupons.

    • Serenity2018

I can not find it. I have went through everyone's comments and have followed all of the instructions, and NOTHING! What a bummer…. :(

    • C Moodyblue

If anyone finds it, send me the zip code and name of the store. I can't find it!!

    • Ma

Deal is dead…anyone have a pdf?

      • Michellesennamon

I do can you send it to me ,michellesennamon@yahoo.com

    • Leslieavon1585

      I cant find it either.

    • Alicatbland

Is this deal dead? Anyone get lucky?

    • Andrea

      Can't find it either!

    • Tlrob1266

      cant find the coupon

    • Marcie Reeves

Hi: I was able to print the coupon and took it to the Publix in Columbia on Broad River Road. They said it was only good at the S. Florida store and would not accept it. I mentioned to them that the coupon said good at your neighborhood Publix, they still refused!

    • Nashvillecraftychick

      Hermitage TN let me :)

    • Christy

Used it in Hixson, Tn. Asked ahead of time and they didn't have a problem with it. Took it happily…OOP $71, SAVED $156!!

    • Michellesennamon

so disgusted can not find coupon ,please help me someone ?

      • Val

        It's gone.

    • Browneyes0124

when will the new publix add coming out for this week? I called they said they will have one but of course they are closed on thanksgiving so i wonder when the add will come out? between thanksgiving and black friday that gives me no time to get my coupons prepared lol :)

    • Dianapereira

When will the new Publix list be available ?

    • breese

This coupon is ONLY to be used at Publix in Miami, FL. It came from the sales paper in that area.

    • Tj Tyler

where is the couon? ….what do you consider “south Florida”

    • Lbmoore

Would love to print it, but I can't find it either. :(

    • Dardencl

I entered Miami, FL in the store search. then went to Weekly Shopper. It was around page 11 ish. Just printed & used it yesterday in Fayetteville, GA. Thanks!!!

    • We were told this week (in Largo, FL) that they will not take the $5 off $50 first, that they can only be taken if your total is $50 AFTER the other coupons.

      • Mummzy4

That was wrong your cashier didn't know what she was talking about. It goes for the total before the coupon not after. Trust me I know what I am talking about.

    • Jenny

Charleston, SC – many Publix stores DO NOT accept any more Rite Aid and CVS coupons, why they change the policy all the time ? I will stop going there, it does not worth to travel so long to use $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon and the other pharmacies coupons. Will shop in Walmart instead .Publix, You just lost a good customer( shoped at least twice a week), I'm very disappointed :(

      • Katie

so sad, i'm a charleston publix shopper and they took my $5 off $50 (miami coupon) on Wednesday just fine. It didn't show up in their register, so the cashier just typed it in as $5 publix coupon. i love the two w. ashley publix's and they always take my coupons. Mostly use target and manufacturer brands. walmart is more expensive, they only take 1 coupon per item…so i was told by one cashier.

      • elizabeth

the charleston sc publix (johns island store) on hwy 17…have they stopped taking the rite aid coupons now?? i have been out of town for the holiday, and was planning on shopping tomorrow.

      • Mummzy4

They only take Supermarket coupons not drug stores. Only the Pharmacy will take coupons from competetor Pharmacies and only for perscriptions. If there was a change all the time its because you got a cashier that didn't know better.

    • Luv

My Lexington, SC Mgr WOULD NOT take the coupon when I tried to use it earlier this week. I know it's expired now but wanted you to know my experiences I have had. One time they took one I received in the mail that was for $5 off $50 even though my total came to $45. So what gives with inconsistencies? Anyway………She told me that it was because it was not a local coupon because you had to type in a zip code from Florida and then print and cut it out and it was an idea link from Southern Savers. I tried to politely tell her that it said “good at your neighborhood Publix” and show it to her but she said “Nope”. And politely smiled at me, said thank you and walked away. I used to received these in the mail from Publix but it has been a while now…….

    • Sewingmom2

the coupon also said if it was copied it was fraud, so I did not try to use it after I printed it from the internet, because it was copying it from the ad page

    • Angela

i found same coupon exp Dec 5th on west coast….fyi
