I shared with you last month about a great home school conference, Teach them Diligently, coming March 2012 to Spartanburg SC.  This is a regional event lasting 3 days with a ton of amazing speakers (I’m speaking too if that helps) and activities for the entire family.

If you are considering attending now is the time to get your tickets!  Now through October 31st your entire family can attend for $25 when you use the code SAVERS during registration.

After October 31st the rate will go up to $40, so take advantage of the discount while you can.

Is that your whole family, including children or just husband/wife?

      • Dnunnery

Whole family!  There is a childrens’ program but it is extra and optional.

my best friend’s ex-wife makes $80 every hour on the internet. She has been out of work for 6 months but last month her pay was $8481 just working on the internet for a few hours. Read about it on this web site http://ufil.ms/jfiHL

Can you tell me if this would help if you are considering homeschooling in the future. We are trying to find the right home school program for my grandson.

      • Dnunnery

Yes, we will have a homeschooling 101 track that will be very helpful to families considering or just starting out with homeschooling.

    • Shar

The code is not working for me on their website

      • Dnunnery

Shar, please try again.  Sorry for the mix up.  The code is savers.

      Hi Jenny,
I tried to register tonight and the SAVERS code was not recognized. Thanks for sharing the link; I missed last year’s conference in Greenville, and am sure ther will be a bunch of us from Columbia driving up. So many excellent speakers!

      • Dnunnery

Katherine, Please try again.  I am sorry for the mix up.  The code is savers.

    • Guest

      puke.

    • Valerie

I just tried to register with the above code and my total was still $30. I tried all caps and lowercase. Any suggestions?

      • Dnunnery

Valerie, Try again.  It is working.  SAVERS is the code and it is not case specific.

Hi, I’m a regular reader of your blog and a veteran homeschooler (in my 19th year). When I first began homeschooling and attended conferences I foolishy viewed speakers   with as much trust and confidence as I would the pastoral staff at my church. There are a couple of speakers at this conference that are leaders in the patriarchal movement. Please be careful…this is a stealth and extremely legalistic movement that has been the cause of painful church splits and many broken friendships. Please do research before attending. Having said that, there seems to be a great lineup of speakers that would be very profitable to hear, especially Jenny!!

I tried the code, too, and it’s not working!=(  Also, do you know about childcare?  They just say to pay for kids ages 4-11, but I have a one-year-old and three-year-old.  Will there be a nursery for them, or do I need t find other childcare?

      • Dnunnery

        Hey Jamie,
Sorry for the problems.  The code is working now.  That was our fault and we have fixed the issue.  I just tried it myself.  For the younger children, we have an option for childcare at the convention for 1 to 3 year olds, but there will be a cost.  We are putting together the pricing before we announce it.
