Can’t wait to do the PG deal, If you got the Bounce Dryer bar coupon from Vocal point (you should have gotten 4, a total of $7) you can get bounce dryer bars instead of Cascade paks…especially since you can get them free at Walmart!

      Thanks for the write Jen!!!

      • Zee

I wonder if the Proglide and PG deal will overlap?

I almost always save some of my RRs to buy my newspapers.  This way I never have to worry about fillers.

      • Anonymous

I was going to do that one morning til the person in front of me in line came back and said all the coupons out of the paper was gone and the same went for the rest of the stack!! :( I stick to getting mine out of the boxes…..

    • I have the $2 off Tide/Gain det. coupons but they say powder, will they work on the liquid (which is pictured in the ad)?

    • Julissa

why is there a Get Back: $11.50 RR ($10 RR, $1.50 RR) in the secon senerio where the $10 or 1.50 came from?

      • Zee

You’ll get back 10 from buying the pG products (Tide/Cascade) and 1.50 from the Carmex

Total: 28 + unknown Pantene price

going to use (4) $2 off Gain qs; (1) $2.50 bounce q, (1) $1.50 bounce Dryer (both from Vocalpoint), and 1 free Pantene product q (Facebook), 10 RR from this week (Keri, and Kelloggs)

      • where did you get the $2 off gain coupons?

        • Zee

They came in an insert, I think SS 7/17. But I also ordered some thru coupondede. I knew it would come in handy at some point

Does walgreens put a limit on how many rr you can earn per item? For example, can I buy 2 carmex chapstick and earn 2 $1.50 rr? Thanks so much. And thanks Jenny for all of your hard work on this site. You save me so much time and money. :)

      • Zee

No you cannot, if you buy multiple items, you will only get RR for one. So to get the RR do it in multiple transations. Also don’t buy something to get RR, with the same RR. Don’t buy Chapstick, get RR, then buy another Chapstick, you wont get another RR

      • Anonymous

she didn’t say here but there is usually a limit.

      • Anonymous

You can get multiple RR on the same deal ONLY
        a) if you buy the deal in separate transaction(s), and
        b) not pay with the same RR that you just received from the same deal.

    • Julissa

So I have 3 of the $1 cascade coupon if u want it send me your address before 4:30 pm today jgutierrez@lwhsolutions thanks (I don’t have a dishwasher)

    • Julissa

why is there a Get Back: $11.50 RR ($10 RR, $1.50 RR) in the secon senerio where the $10 or 1.50 came from? the add said you need to buy $30 would the 10RR still print if you buy less then $30?

      • Anonymous

        cascade 3×4 +tide 3×6 = $30 value
        and recieve the 10 RR
        carmex 1.50 get 1.50 RR

        • Julissa

thank you now I see it :)

    • With the in-ad coupons, they say “limit 3”  Can you use multiple of those coupons to get more than three?  I am asking in reference to the Campbell’s soup listed above.  The in-ad is for three, but the manufacturer is for 5.

      • Anonymous

Someone had mentioned that just one scan would take off discount on all items and even on more quantities than the coupons specifies. In other words, buy 5 and just use one in-ad Q scan (no need to clip it-just present it for scan) , and it shouldgive you discount on all 5 quantities.

    • With the in-ad coupons, they say “limit 3”  Can you use multiple of those coupons to get more than three?  I am asking in reference to the Campbell’s soup listed above.  The in-ad is for three, but the manufacturer is for 5.

      • Anonymous

You only need to scan the coupon one time for it to take off.  Now, some walgreens will let you get more than 3 and some stick to the limit.  If you explain to them that you have a coupon for 5, they may let it go thru.  My wags is great, and they let me go over the limit, as long as I don’t clear the shelves.  I love my wags!!

    • So I know the RR say you can’t  use them on dairy products, do they consider ice cream a dairy product?  I have $12 in RR left from last week, but there’s not that much I need, so I thought I’d pick up some of the Edy’s ice cream that is on sale, but wasn’t sure if they’d let me use my RR for that.  Anyone know?

      • Anonymous

        I’d suggest trying it
If it isn’t good on dairy products, then technically it wouldn’t be good on most food products since most have some form of dairy in them

      • the ice cream is considered dairy. “dairy” is cheese, milk, ice cream & those sorts of food. not the other food items

        • emily384

i use my RR on milk all the time. never had a problem.

          • Anonymous

It is my understanding from my local store they are going to start “cracking down” on register reward usage on the dairy items.

      • Zee

Although ice cream is dairy, I don’t think stores classify it as that. This is usually held for milk, cheese, yogurt, etc. I had no idea that u couldnt do that…but I’ve never gotten refrigerated groceries

    • *FYI*
If you go on to FB and “like” Welch’s, they give you a $1.50 coupon for jelly. This coupon is only available on Wednesday’s, but that would make the Jelly $1.50 for 2 or .75 each!

I am a newbie and need help,  Can I buy $30 of Proctor and Gamble items to get the $10 in RR and then use the same receipt to get the $10 free mastercard from “Savings for Back to School Success” promotion that P&G is offering?  (Picked up the mail -in form at Lowes Foods)

      • Zee

        yep

      • Anonymous

You better check your mail in form.  I got my form from Bi Lo and the items have to be bought at Bi Lo.  I’ve seen this advertised for different stores this way also.  So just to be sure, check how the form reads.  If it specifically mentions Lowes, they I would think you would have to have their receipt.

I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem but I went to Wags today to buy the 4 boxes of Keebler cookies with a RR back of $ 5.00.  Well, my $5 RR did not print.  The manager told me that Wags is cracking down on couponers. The manager said that if you use RR to pay instead of cash then the RR will not print.  Is anyone else having this problem?

      • Question: What register reward did you pay with, the value and what did you earn it from?

      • cracking down, like we’re a bunch of 40 year old miscreants…problem is, we’re smarter than them. they can’t figure out how we’re doing it, so we must be cheating, right?

      • Anonymous

Every time I hear this, “cracking down” makes me laugh. Employees who seem to think smart shopping is ripping off make these kinds of nutty things out of being vindicitve, and themselves dont know whats going on.  RRs are issued for you to use on any of your next purchase (and as of now) regardless of sale/offer/deal purchase item or not. There is some other reason your RR did not print.

      • Anonymous

I almost had that happen but I made sure to have them check if all the varieties of cookies I was planning on purchasing were part of the deal…turns out, one was not, so I purchased another kind that was part of the deal and it printed.  you probably purchased one or more that was not part of the deal.  Look at the prices of the items on your receipt.  They ring up as:
3@$2.99 and 1@$1.03 to equal $10.  If your receipt says anything different, you know that is what happened!  I would return to the store tomorrow if I could before the sale ends, return them and then repurchase the correct items for the sale.  GOOD LUCK!!!

        • Anonymous

Thank you, I will do that.

Fiber One Bars, 5-6 pk., or Nature Valley Bars, 6-10 pk., $2
Looking at the circular, these are $2.99 each or 5/$10.  You only get the sale price of $2 each if you buy 5 boxes, it seems.

    • Zee

Just sent out an email to those asking for the estroven

    • Anonymous

Question Here: In the deal listed above, how does the deal work with 3 bottles of tide and 3 of the cascade. I don’t think you can use more than one coupon of each because on the coupon it says limit one coupon per purchase. Doesn’t that mean if you buy 3 bottles of tide, you could only use one coupon?

      • One per purchase means one per item. Those coupons state 4 like per transaction.

        • Anonymous

I am curious if anyone can give me there opinion on shopping Walgreens vs. CVS.   So far I have stuck with just Publix, Kroger and CVS to not get so overwhelmed, and have been very happy with the deals I get from CVS, is there any body that shops both and has a preference?  Thanks

      • Anna Hall

Walgreens is a little tricky.  The RRs count as manu coupons and you have to have the same amount of product as manu coupons, $1/2 coupons count as 2 coupons, etc.  Even when you think you have your transaction figured out, something often throws a monkey wrench.  Great deals but you really have to work hard for them.

      • Anonymous

CVS has been a preference. However, CVS is now completely dried out. Whereas, WAGS has loweer prices and still some good deals time after time.  If youreally do not need much, then dont start with WAGS. You may spend more in cash due to “filler” items and on.  Also, wags RR expire in just two weeks vs CVS ones that expire in a month.

      • Anonymous

I WOULD STICK WITH CVS, BUT IF YOU HAVE A WALGREENS CLOSE BY AND THEY HAVE A GOOD SALE THAT WEEK SURE GIVE IT A TRY BUT THEY ARE THE HARDEST ONES TO LEARN AND HALF THE TIME THEY ARE OUT OF THE PRODUCT AND IF YOU GET A RAINCHECK IT DOESN’T GIVE YOU THE REGISTER REWARD WITH THE RAINCHECK LIKE CVS DOES

    • I can’t find the pdf for the Estroven anymore!  Darn, I wish I had printed it as soon as I found it last week!  Can someone email me the link to mistyhunt11@yahoo.com?  I would GREATLY appreciate it!

They are having the huggie wipes 184 or 216 on sale for 5.99 again! Last time I got this deal I used the $2 off from the infant care book, $2 from august book, and a bunch of .75 cent off Q’s I get in the mail! AWESOME AWESOME DEAL!

      • Anonymous

Where do I get the infant care booklet?

      • Anonymous

I got excited too when I saw them on sale again.  But checking the Sept coupon booklet, I realized there wasn’t one in it for the Huggies wipes.  But still 5.99 –  2 from the infant care book and 40 cent MQ = 3.59 a pack is a pretty good deal.  I’ll be getting a couple more myself.

        • Anonymous

Another idea on the wipes.  Could you use the $2 Q in the infant care booklet, the $2 Q in the home mailer and a MQ to get a great deal?  Anybody?

      • Anonymous

I got two huggies wipes at cvs last night they were only 64 count but they were on clearance for $1.49 and I had 75 cents off so I got two of them for $1.50 lol

    • The Estroven coupon is no longer available.

    • I haven’t received the estroven couon pdf file yet, could someone please send @ pruitt_denise@yahoo.com

what is vocal pointe that you are getting coupons from

      • Zee

it’s a website for reviews and stuff. Go to the webiste vocalpointDOT COM and sign up, also look for them on Facebook. The cool thing about them, is when they send you something, they send you 3-4 more coupons to share with your friends. Instead of giving my q’s away, I use them and then give the product away. That way I can save and give gifts! I’ve gotten trash bag samples, salad coupons, downy unstopables, and bounce bar, and applesauce. I think the current promo is a free swiffer sweeper, so I got that one too!

Will Walgreen’s allow me to use multiple coupons for a given item even though the coupon says limit one per purchase? I want to buy several of the tide and trying to get the 10RR for $30 purchase. For example if I buy 5 bottles of tide at $6, could I use 5 of the $1 off coupons or would they only let me use one because of the “limit one per purchase.”

      • Zee

You wouldn’t be able to do that anyway. Tide coupon says limit 4 in one transaction. Walgreens would aloow you to buy multiples, but that coupon will not

        • Anonymous

Ok, so then lets make that 3 bottles of Tide, and 4 of the cascade. So I could do one transaction and use 3 of the tide coupons and 4 of the cascade coupons?

          • Zee

Yep, as long as Walgreens limit and coupon limit allows it. All PG coupons have a limit of 4 per transaction

      • Anonymous

“Purchase” refers to specific item and its quantity specified on Q. It is not to be confused with “one per transaction.” Tide Q says $1 off on one Tide….. then the “purchase” is just that one piece of tide.  They wrte one per purchase because they wanna make sure that you not present two $1 Q of these Tide and apply to just one piece.

If I purchase 2 of the Carmex lip balms in the same transaction, will it print out 2 $1.50 RR or just 1 ?

      • Anonymous

Just one.  You can do two separate transactions, but you can’t use the RR from the first one on the second purchase or it won’t print the second RR.

        • Caroline Parrish

          okay! thank you :)

Does anyone have the Prevacid coupons from the SS 7/17 that isn’t going to use them and might want to trade? I have Huggies coupons from the SS 8/14 that I’m not using. Email me at monika8382@yahoo.com

    • Anonymous

Just an FYI…I have used expired RRs in Walgreens and have never had a problem.  Don’t know if it would work for everyone, but it has for me a few times.  They are normally only expired by a week or two.

      • Anonymous

        that’s fraudulent.

      • Anonymous

I would highly recommend you do not contine this as it is company policy not to accept expired RRs or any expired coupons of any sort and the employee who does will more than likely be terminated.

    • I have a question about the deal for P & G $10rr after $30 worth of product, your total out of pocket was $21.  I had a problem a few weeks ago with a similar deal with pampers diapers, I was told that after coupons the products must be about the dollar amount ex. $30 in order to get the RR. The diapers was $25 and it would not print my RR because after coupons was not the dollar amount, so I had to add extra diapers and then the RR printed.  Have you had this problem anywhere else?

      • Anonymous

I had the same trouble with that Pampers deal, but it was really only because I used the Infant Care Coupon Booklet coupon, which (for some reason) made the deal not work out.  I think that when you use the Walgreens coupons, it takes off the total on these type deals.  I am interested to see how this deal works out tomorrow.

      • Anonymous

It looks like if you use WAGs store Qs, then the price of items is “reduced” and thus would affect the total amount. In other words, make sure the total amount is after store Qs. However, manuf Q would not affect the total

      • I bought 3 charmin’s and 3 bounty’s my total before coupon’s was $30.25 and it DID NOT print me my rr,however the 3 tide’s and 3 cascade’s did just fine!!! :) Very please with that!

    • Anonymous

Does anyone know how the Olay BIGI q’s work? For example… with the WAGS b1g1 half off deal, could I buy:
Olay Regenerist (3 dollar off coupon)
Olay body wash (use buy one regenerist get one free body wash)
Olay body wash (get 50% off this one w/ deal.. can i use another bw q here?)
Satin Shave Gel (use buy one olay body wash get one gel free coupon)

This sounds a little too good to be true. Just wondering how this works. Thanks!

      • Anonymous

        I can only tell youtechnically

        a) Your first Olay Regen. will take $3 Off, no problem

        b) Olay BW A is full price – Free one can not be applied to this one as a general rule

        c) Olay bw  B is half price – generally speaking the Free Q (wyb Olay Regen) should be applied to this one because as a general rule, the lower amount is taken off. However, some employee may take the higher ones if they are not
too picky which is a great customer service (they will still get reimbursed full price).

        d) Satin Gel – Free manuf Q can be used on this one because you are buying Olay BW A

Also, note (i) if you have a $ Off Q on Olay BW then you can apply to Olay bw A, (ii) you can not use another Free Q (wyb Regen) on bw A because you are already using the Olay Regen. as an sponsor for bw B.

        I hope it makes sense

One more question… do rr expire ON the date printed on them (as in you can’t use them that day) or the next day?

      • Anonymous

I think you can use them up to and/or anytime the day that they expire, just like you would use a Q from the newspaper.  For instance, if you had a MQ that expires on 8/31, you could still redeem it on 8/31. You would not be able to use them the next day. HTH.

      • Anonymous

RRs or any coupons cane be used upto and including the expiration date listed on them.

for those of you that are looking for the huggies homemailer $2.00 huggie coupon you can buy it from couponbeat.com for 20 cents. but I think you have to spend  @ least a dollar. so there may be some other  coupons you might want to order.

    • Estroven coupon please.  mrsjboyd at cfl rr com

    • Anonymous

Be careful, the Crest toothpaste and Glide floss are ringing up wrong at $3.79 & $2.99 instead of 2/$5. Manager corrected and RR printed just fine. I bought the exact ones in the picture, so she didn’t argue with me.

    • Anonymous

Don’t forget to scan your AARP card (for those 50 YO and older). You get $5 RR for $20 purchase. And that is $20 before your coupons.

      • Anonymous

I scanned it before a 32. purchase and nothing printed out but the very knowledgable middle aged cashier was able to scan 4 m & m’s to get a 5 rr to print out. She actually went into the office and brought back a memo from corporate listing exclusions. None applied to my order. :)

Had a great trip to Wags this morning.  Stocked up on M&M’s, laundry supplies, & feminine products.  Here’s how it went:

      Transaction 1
      4 M & M’s 4/10 (you have to buy all 4 to get them at this price) –   10.00
      1 Carmex vanilla – 1.50
      Tax – 1.06
      Used:
      2 – 1.50/2 M&M’s (from Sept All You)  (3.00)
      Total – 9.56
      Got 5RR, 1.50RR

      Transaction 2
      3 Tides @ 6.00 each = 18.00
      3 Downys @ 4.00 each = 12.00
      1 Carmex Lime = 1.50
      Tax = 2.91
      Used:
      2 – 1.00 off Tide (2.00)
      2 – 1.50/2 Tide or Downy (3.00)
      5.00 RR from Transaction 1 (5.00)
      Total OOP = 24.41
      Got 10RR, 1.50RR

      Transaction 3
      2 Newspapers @ 1.00 = 2.00
      4 Always Pantiliners B1G1 50% 3.99 = 11.96
      2 Always Pads B1G1 50% 3.99 = 5.99
      1 clearance TicTacs = .89
      Tax = 1.74
      Used
      2 – 1.00 off Pantiliners (from 7/31 P&G) (2.00)
      2 – .50 off Pantiliner (1.00)
      2 – .50 off Pads (1.00)
      1.50 RR from Carmex (1.50)
      1.50 RR from Carmex (1.50)
      10.00 P & G RR (10.00)
      Total = 5.57

      Spent: 39.54
      Total Savings:55.58
      Percentage Savings = 58%

I thought the sale on the feminine products was ok, but hate to leave Wags with more than a couple RR because they expire so quickly.

    • Crazy day at Walgreens.  I am wondering has anyone had this happen before.  The cashier would not allow me to use my RR- stating that I already had a manu cpn for every item I purchased…and that RR are manu coupons and she could not take 2 manu for the same item.  Is this right?

      • I had an issue with my RRs today as well. I purchased some M&Ms and it went through. I am still learning the coupon policies for each store. Though I’m a newbie, what you describe does not sound accurate to me – maybe next time just ask the manager over.

        • the manager did come and accept the rr.  My friend made the same m&m purchase a little while after me, and the same cashier told her that her 2 m&m cpns actually counted as 4 cpns since you have to purchase 2 items per cpn???

          • Anonymous

Yes, I’ve found that this is true at Wags.  You can’t have more coupons (and a RR counts as a coupon) as items and if the coupon attaches to two items (like on the M & M’s) then it “uses up” two of your items in the coupon/item count.  In cases like this, I usually grab a paper or the Carmex was a good filler as it was free after RR without using a coupon.

            • Anonymous

Carmex is a great filler to use this week!!

            • I was so disappointed. My Walgreens was out of the Carmex – and it was before noon! I really wanted the Carmex, lol.

          • Anonymous

The coupon for the mm should have counted as one coupon for the two bags as it is a $1.00 off two bags so if you bought four bags and used two coupons you still could use an rr because that is four items and only two coupons.

        • Anonymous

Walgreens treats RR’s like a coupon, and their registers will not allow the cashiers to use more coupons than there are items.  For example, if your cart has 8 items, you can use no more than a combination of 8 coupons and/or register rewards.

      • Anonymous

The employee was actually correct. You were missing an additional item (without a manuf Q), sometimes called “filler” to use with RR. While all your manuf Qs seemed to have attached to each tem; your RR also needed an item to “attach to.”

      • Thanks for everyone chiming in.  I think where I messed up was not counting the coupon for the M&M’s as two cpns.  I will now know to count cpns needing two items as two cpns in my item=cpn count.  Thanks again!

      • Anonymous

You have to get a filler item.  You can’t have more coupons than items so you need to pick up something cheap like candy as a filler item and then you would have been able to use your rr

    • Despite there being a glitch with the printing of the Sunday paper in Columbia, SC this morning and having to drive 20 minutes just to get a paper and get my coupons, I made it just in time to get 5 of the $6 Tides (used coupons from P&G insert) from Walgreens and get the $10 RR. They’d run out of the Carmex and the Planters peanut butter, but it was a successful venture nonetheless. It’s my second week learning to coupon and I’m having a BLAST!!! Hubby, thinks I’m crazy, but I plan to win him over with my savings!!!

      • Anonymous

After several years of couponing, DH is still not convinced — at least not out loud. He sure enjoys the ice cream and cookies!

        • Hubby got mad when he found out that the M&Ms that I “bought him” weren’t really a ‘just thinking about you’ gift – they were my filler item. LOL!!!!

      • Tara Brown

I went out this morning to both Wags and the Circkle K to get papers only to find none.  The lady at Circle K said the papers were late today.  I thought about driving to another area but I waited. 2 hours later they had their papers.  I didn’t get to Wags to catch any of the items and I hope I don’t regret it tomorrow morning. This was in Columbia as well.

        • Supposedly there was a printing glitch. I went to the Kroger on Two Notch to get mine. So in the future, you might try Kroger, they seem to be reliable with having it in a timely fashion. When I went to Walgreens on Clemson at 8:30a, the Tide was already disappearing so I decided to go ahead and make the mad dash to find a paper. Think I might start just getting it delivered.

    • Hey Jenny, on the Campbells, in the ad here in Mobile, AL it says a Limit of 3. So I don’t think the Q for $1/5 would make all 5 cans $.39 here. I don’t know what everyones ad is though. Could be different. But no good for me ;(

so just look on ebay for coupons? I am excited about this cause I hate to have the newpapers left over!

      • I have had the same problem here in Newport News, VA and have asked the Daily Press about this issue where the home delievery gets an insert but the stores do not. He explained that the home delievery people get ALL inserts but if they run out of inserts then the papers in the paper boxes do not get it and if they still run out the store newspapers do not get it. Essentially home delievery gets dibs on ALL inserts.

        • Chelsie Mehok

Lisa I am in Hampton, Va and I cannot stand that the papers around here NEVER have all of the inserts. It is ridiculous. So i have started ordering my coupons online. full inserts. It costs about the same as if you would by the newspapers and you get ALL the inserts from that week. It has some pros and cons to ordering them that way, but so far its working out good for me! email me chelsiemehok@gmail:disqus .com if you want the site/info!

I called the Florida times union same info.  They want you to subscribe so if you want the coupons that bad you will.  The upside is I found out the deal for multiple subscriptions is pretty good.  It equals about .80 per paper versus the 1.50-2.00 we’ve been paying, and my mom uses all the papers for projects.

      • All 10 of mine had them, It might be just in your area, Look around on the clipping sites and order some

For the Venus Razor that’s $10.99 with $4RR, there was a coupon in P&G either last month or the month before that’s $5 off Venus razor WYB venus refill. The Venus refill is apart of the $9.50RR for spending $30 and has a $2 coupon in this P&G. I know it makes your transactions a little pricy, but if you have plenty of RR it makes it a good deal.

Unexpected coupon from Walgreens purchase:  we used a Revlon $1 off coupon on a pack of Revlon nail files priced at $1.49 – it gave us an unexpected manufactured coupon – $2 off any Revlon tool. We used the $2 coupon at Walmart where we bought another pack of Revlon nail files for $1.97 – not only was it FREE but it was double the quantity of nail files!

just a heads-up on the P&G get $10RR WYB $30. I purchased 2 GAIN, 2 SWIFFER, 3 CASCade for a total of $29.98..RR would not print because .02 under requirement..LOL . Had to return and re-purchase to equal $30…..what a pain Wags is becoming each week. Manager also tried to insist it was because I was using MQs ..& that it needed to be $30 “after” Qs..NOT! I made her ring it up again and sure enough she learned something.

      • same thing happen to me. Asst. Manger said I have to actually pay the amount in order to get the rr’s. She said that I only paid a little over $7.00 that is why I dint get the rr’s. Had to explain to her and give her examples and then she finally called over the manger and she said i was right and gave me the rr’s in cash. But I just turned around and gave it back to tem..lol This was the 1st time I have ever had any problems with wags. Even with that issuse everyone was very nice :)

The welch’s grape jelly is priced 2.99 for the first one and one cent for the second one. The WAGS  I went to only had ONE jar out. I am afraid some unsuspecting shopper is going to buy that one jar and pay 2.99 for it -thinking it will ring up 1.50. Ugh!
I ran into my stepmom while there and she actually picked up that jar to buy it.I told her that she was going to pay full price for it and pointed out the sign under it showing that the second jar would be one cent. She got a raincheck instead.

      • Anonymous

Often the store cashiers or managers are willing to sell something at the right price if they don’t have enough in stock for it to ring up correctly…of course, you can also get a raincheck. I’ve had times when they’ve even adjusted the raincheck- say it was for 4 items, but there were only 3 in stock when I went back, they initialed it & changed the number on the raincheck…can’t hurt to ask!

Went to two different Walgeens and was surprised that both stores still had a ton of product left for the Estroven deal.

    • -$2 off Huggies Little Movers or Snug and Dry diapers big pk., (Walgreens Coupon) SS 7/24—–not in the Lynchburg News & ADVANCE PAPER

    • @ my walgreens it had 2 aussie products for $6 and a $2 RR on the shelf sticker. i used the Q from facebook for a free product up to $3.99. of course it wouldn’t take the coupon which didn’t make sense since the first item rang up @ $3.99 and the second @ $2.01. the cashier entered it in manually since the coupon said any aussie product up to $3.99. and of course i didn’t get the RR. i wasn’t sure if it was because i got it for free. anyone else have any difficulty using the aussie facebook Q. i didn’t push the issue but just wondered.

I have a MQ for buy 1 old spice body wash, get 1 old spice deodorant free. Walgreens has body wash buy 1 get one 1/2 off. Can I also use my MQ for $1 off any 2 old spice products?  Like if I buy 2 body washes, get 2 deodorants free, use 2 MQ for buy one bw get 1 deo. & use $1 off 2.  I would appreciate any help. I’m a new couponer!

      • Stephanie in Bham

If I am following your question correctly, yes. If you purchase 2 bodywashes at BOGO 50%, you may use $1/2 MQ for bodywash and then use 2 FREE deo wyb bodywash. HTH!

    • Anonymous

I HATE Walgreens! This nonsense that BOGO items ring up half and then come off at the botom is driving me crazy. I bought the soft soap BOGO 2/$4. one rand up 2.49 and the other 1.51 and it only took off 1.51 as the BOGO. So I was charged .49 to much which doesn’t seem like alot but I didn’t want to pay more then a dollar a bottle since it regular .99 at Target.

      • Anonymous

They do it that way so if you only buy one they can charge you the highest price, not customer friendly in that way

      • Anonymous

Actually, last time I had a BOGO Q to use, they took off the higher price…I felt twinges of conscience & pointed out the actual price per each item, but the cashier felt it wouldn’t be fair to take off the lower price, & I guess they can’t just put in the correct amount? Anyway, it worked out in my favor…but the other way would be really frustrating! I would ask the manager about it…

Can anyone tell me why I could not use a Colgate $3RR on this transaction? I purchased 4 M&Ms for $10, and I had 2 $1/2 Qs. In the same transaction I purchased 3 Domino’s sugar and used 3 Manu Qs for $.65/1 and I used the WAGS Q which made the sugar $2.49/bag instead of $3.49/bag. I had 7 items and 5 manufacturers Qs plus the WAGS Q which isn’t supposed to count in the total. The register beeped and would not take the $3RR.

      • Reynoldsja

I think what is happening is the M&M q’s are actually counting for each item.  $1 off 2 is attaching to both bags, so basically, you had 7 coupons and 7 items, not including the wags q which doesn’t count anyway.

        • Anonymous

I don’t think that’s correct…it’s strictly no more man.Qs than items, the number of items they go to doesn’t matter. That’s their policy, and it’s always worked in my experience…if something like this which should work, doesn’t work, I would just be polite but persistent- they can manually enter the RR if it won’t scan.

          • Anonymous

The $1/2 M&M coupon is coded to attach to BOTH bags therefore, Bbeteag is correct a filler must be used in order to use the RR.

        • Bbeteag

You are correct.  The registers have been updated (boo!) and since the coupon mentioned attaches to 2 items, only 1 coupon is allowed for 2 items.  I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago with the trident coupon of $2/3.  I thought I would be able to dump a bunch of RR with this transaction, but since the coupon attached to all 3 packs of gum, I had to rely on some fillers to use my RR.  It helps to have a ‘plan B’ and know what cheap fillers are available.

      • Anonymous

i THINK THEY HAVE TO SCAN IT IN A CERTAIN ORDER CAUSE i DID THE MM DEAL LAST NIGHT AND SHE HAD TO VOID THE COUPONS AND START OVER, SHE HAD TO USE MY RR COUPON FIRST AND THEN SCAN THE OTHERS AND IT WORKED FINE

    • Nina B

Can anyone help me? I went to Walgreens yesterday, I spent $17. and change. My scenario looked like this:

I bought (2) gain @$5 ea, (2) tide @ $6 ea, 1 bounce bar $4, and 1 pantene sham/cond @ 4.99. All which qualified for the $10.00 rr. However, I had one bounce bar coupon compliments of vocalpoint for $2.50. I had 1 free pantene cpn thnx to fb, 4 $2 cpns for the gain/ tide.
So, when my rcpt printed the mgr said that I spent below $30, and the register wouldn’t issue me a rr. I told her that the ad clearly stated purchased $30 worth of P & G but she was just an assistant. I left frustrated and felt somewhat cheated. I budgeted $25 for everything and getting the rr would have taken care of my t. tissue budget. But, now I am thinking maybe I should return 1 or 2 of the gains. Any advice anyone?

    • Renee` Smith

As far as the Tropicana Orange, the coupon I received on 8/07 was for 59oz.  Did anyone else have this??

      • Thayes

I did. I was just checking on here to see if anyone else had caught it. The sale is for 12 oz, so this coupon definitely won’t work

    • HSM

There was actually a $1.50 off 10ct Tide Stain release in the 7/31 inserts which brings the price down to $2.50, less than half the non-sale price.

    • Misty

I had the problem the P&G reward not printing because my coupons brought me to a total of about $27 plus tax and they told me it was because I used MQs. I explained I had gotten the deal the day before and they just looked at me. THEN, the manager takes the ad and tries to tell me the RRs are only good for “select baby and personal care items” at the top of the back page. It clearly includes all the PG items inside that red box. He didn’t even know how to read the ad! He did however, print a RR request form for me. We’ll see what happens. I may return it all. That’s $10 I expected!

How do you get an infant care book?  I haven’t seen them in stores and can’t seem to find a way to sign up on Walgreen’s site either.  Thanks!

      • Syrivera9

The infant care book came out sometime in the beginning of the year. The stores dont carry them anyomre.  I think ebay is selling them.

I need help.. I’m new to the Walgreens stuff (Boy have I been wasting time), I just went for the first time last week and it was such a rush to walk away with free stuff.  I have a question, if anyone can help.  Does anyone know if the Old Spice Odor Blocker body wash is included in the $9.50 RR wyb $35 Old Spice/Gillette products?  Can you tell me if this scenario would work?

      1 gilette deoderant
      3 gilette bodywash
      1 Old Spice deoderant
      1 OS bodywash
4 OS Odor blocker bodywash (depending if included)

      1 b1 deo g1 bw (gilette)
      2 $2 off bw (gilette)
      1 b1 bw g1 deo (old spice)
      2 b1 bw g1 bw (old spice)

would that work?  thanks in advance for any help/suggestions

    • Cynthia

I like your scenario ideas, plus the suggestion to use the RR’s before the next trip.  The trouble with that is that the 2 stores closest to me (in Hendersonville, NC) are not open to more than one transaction.  The one store will allow you to do more than one if you go out to your car and come back in between transactions. (makes you feel so silly!) The other one just says come back another day. I just don’t shop there much anymore, and my RR’s get used at Harris Teeter.

just a heads up on the BIGGEST LOSER bar/shakes on sale Buy one get one 50% off. If you use the cpn in the monthly book it takes $2. off each box. Problem is it takes it off BEFORE THE 50% OFF.
      Transaction looks like this:
      5.99 -2.00 ==3.99
      5.99-2.00= 3.99 (minus 50%) – 2.00
So it takes off $2 instead of $3. Glad I only bought 2 packs!!
I have a love-hate relationship with WAGS. I love the sales but HATE it when they are sneaky!!

    • qdude

I love my local Walgreens, they have the best service.  I usually go in on Friday nights as it is not busy and my favorite cashier is there.  Went in tonight and took advantage of the P&G sale.  Also tried to get the Crest toothpaste, but they were out of the Crest Toothpaste so I got a raincheck to get them 2 for $2…which works out well, as they get their truck tomorrow and that means I can back and get the Crest tomorrow with the RR’s and then again later.  Love you Southern Savers!

I wanted to use the Estroven deal today, but when I click on the “Printable” link the page loads and says “Access Denied”.  Does anyone know how to get through and get the coupon?

      • DianneL

I am not sure you can get the coupon anymore. I just tried by getting to the page you mentioned. There was a link on that page for special promotions, but when I clicked it, the message said no offers currently available.
I REALLY NEED THAT ESTROVEN!!!!!!! OK, my hormonal self feels better now. Excuse my yelling! :)

    • Lisa

I had two negative experiences with Walgreens in 1 day!

First, I purchase 4 bags of M&Ms and use 2/ 1.50 off coupons.  I finish the transaction and never get the $5 RR.  I mention this to the cashier and first she tells me the promotion is over.  When I persist, she says I didn’t purchase the right M&Ms (which I know is incorrect).  When I ask for the manager she says, “Oh, here’s your coupon” and hands me the $5 RR.

Later, at another Walgreens, I attempted to purchase a healthcare item (for $6.99) and 2 folders (using $1, $1.50 in RR, and a $3 coupon off the healthcare item). I finish the transaction and don’t receive the 5 RR (advertised in store).  First the manager tells me I must have used a RR that was for the same offer.  He looks and sees that I didn’t.  Then he tells me it’s because the folders I purchased were less than the value of the RR.  Thus, some of the $2.50 in RR’s went to the healthcare item that was supposed to generate the $5 RR.

When we take a look at the coupon policy, he points to the section that talks about using RRs for the same offer.  He says it means the $2.50 in RR I used is considered part of the same offer because part of that reward is paying for a purchase that will earn a new RR.  He then went on to say he couldn’t change the register to make it print a reward.

I asked for the purchase to be refunded and left the store.
