Has anyone gotten the rice krispies treats coupon to print? It goes to a snack website but then a survey keeps popping up and it gives me an error message if I try to check no or maybe later…urgh!

      • Clarkcreations

I cant get it to print either. It's driving me crazy.

        • Aloe328

I tried it last week. I even registered. Last week I got all the way to the coupon area and it said that there were no coupons available. Now there is just a Kellogg cereal coupon for $1/2. Let me know if you find it.

      • Jessica

It was on that site last week, but it has probably reached its print limit.

    • Shannon

One day I dream of a mega event sale that will have something other than cheese and Kashi as the things on sale. Uhg, processed food hell. Yuck. No wonder people are so fat.

      • pat

Cheese is not organic! People eat what they want to eat and you can do the same. Yeah!

        • Melissa

Cheese can be organic. You obviously have no idea what organic actually means.

          • Jacquelyn

can you guys argue somewhere else? these posts are meant to help others get our coupons ready and discuss the sales going on. not what the term “organic” means or studies about organic foods… thanks.

            • CHI

Thank you. Sick and tired of Shannon.

      • Guest

organic is not as good as you think for you. Many studies have came out on that.

        • Shannon

wow, really? What studies are you citing? And I never said I wanted only organic things to go on sale. Just less crap sold in boxes and filled with chemicals.

      • ireneY

Shannon, I used to think the same way, but couponing is so fun that I go for the deals that render discounts on things I really want. For example, if there's four items I want, get six fillers deals to get $5 off. Everything else gets donated. As it turns out, the shelters really like the processed foods because they are shelf stable and convenient for the needy with no homes.

        • Shannon

I totally agree with you, Irene. I want to donate more and will once things are better for me financially. I think donating anything is great!

          • ireneY

Admittedly, my diet has gotten worse after couponing. It's hard to resist the bag of chips or frozen fish sometimes. But eaten in moderation and balanced out with lots of fresh fruits and veg from the local farmers market, there's room for “junk”! :)

      • Tanya

Seriously. I'm 5'3 and 110 and eat whatever I want, processed foods and all. Yuuummm. So judgmental.

        • Shannon

Keep eating those processed foods, sweetie. See how your health is in a few years. Height and weight do not automatically equal healthy. I know a lot of “skinny fat” people who can't even run half a mile.

          • Tanya

I score in the top ten percent on my base in our PT test and my husband is in the top one percent. I try to incorporate healthy items into our menus, but see no problem with the box of cheesy potatoes off of the shelf. When trying to feed a family of five I take whatever I can get in sales.

            • Tabby

it’s always the ones who worry about eating “healthy” that suffer from strange illnesses and diseases -backfires, ouchh.
eat what you want in moderation and life is good.

            • Tabby

it’s always the ones who worry about eating “healthy” that suffer from strange illnesses and diseases -backfires, ouchh.
eat what you want in moderation and life is good.

    • Shannon

Meant to imply cheese and Kashi are the only things I would buy. All the rest is junk.

      • Yes and no. There are quite a few processed items on here (Spaghettios, Idohoan potatoes) but a lot of good items as well.

Canned tomatoes (used for homemade soup recipes, etc), frozen veggie steamers (which many nutritionists agree are better for you than fresh, when bought off season), Horizon Organic milk, etc…

So you just have to pick and choose what you want.

You're never gonna see a mega sale of all organic items because big sales like Kroger megas are advertiser driven. Stores are reimbursed a percentage of the sale given to the customer by the manufacturer, in this case, much of the mega is Kraft.

It would be nice, but we will have to continue getting good deals on the good stuff with the overage. :)

        • Shannon

I don't care if stuff is organic or not, and yes, cheese CAN be organic, I jsut wish more real foods were not always the mega sale items. I mean, it would be a cold day in hell before I ever ate dehydrated potatoes from a box or really anything by Kraft Fake Foods.

    • Dixonrose

If I go in and buy 10 items from the mega event and it doesn't equal $5 after coupons do I still get the $5 off? How do I go about this? I have never done the mega event before.

      • AK

When I bought items during this week's mega event, the screen showed the $5 off before my coupons were scanned. Just to be sure they don't reject any of your coupons (because you are minus) you might want to grab an item to absorb any overage you get.

    • Laura

Has anyone tried the Degree deodorant $1.00 printable with this sale?

I didn't try it because all of the products pictured on the coupon (Degree Womens line) were $3.89 and not part of mega. It was only the regular Degree that is the $1.50 mega sale item, so I didn't think I could use the printable coupon with that.

      • AshleyQ

I have not printed the coupon yet,, but check the wording… it if it says anything like “Any” you can use it on any of thier line. It seems standard practice for MFR's to picture their most expensive line but the wording include their other lines. HTH!

      • melissa

FYI on coupons…ignore pics and read words! :)

    • Marina115

My store also had Tyson chicken nuggets and tenders as part of the mega event at $3.99 after the $5 is taken off. I didn't see it listed, but there is also a $1 off coupon. So 2.99 for a bag of chicken nuggets is a good deal! :)

      • Robin

Do you remember where that coupon was?

        • Mechlingfamily

          SS 4/25 expires 7/24

          • Robin

Thank you but the q wasn't in my paper :-( Still a good deal though. But in the ss 4-25 I did find the .75/1 for planters bars. They are part of the mega deal at my kroger for $2.

            • Marina115

I checked a coupon database and some regions had them in SS 5/16, 5/23, and 6/20. I'm don't know what region you're in, but it's worth a try.

            • Caroline

I had already used that Tyson coupon but went to the Coupon Clippers this morning to get Dannon qs and they had a Tyson one that doesn't expire until the end of Sept, I think. I ordered a few of those hoping they'll get here before the end of the week and I can get cheap chicken nuggets!

    • Katcrown

Trying to print the SOFT SOAP Q- getting message that the website is trying to close window. When I close window, it just goes away. When I don't close window, it says there is a server error. Any suggestions? Thanks!

      • Allysonhage

        I couldn't get it either.

      • Fgavent

I got the error message and hit either back arrow or refresh (I can't remember which) and was able to print it. I hit my back arrow again and printed it the second time.

    • Allysonhage

Does anyone know if you are limited to 10 items for the mega sale? Or do you get $5 off for every 10 items purchased? So $10 off for 20 mega items?

      • Clarkcreations

you get $5.00 off for every 10 items and you can do this as many times as you want in the same transaction. I bought 30 items today, 10 cans of Spaghetti'O's and 10 2lt's of Pepsi along with some other its that qualified. Anyway $15.00 came off my bill for the mega event. Looks like next week is going to be even better!!

        • Allysonhage

Thanks. I will make my list accordingly.

    • Sheba18

How many times can you buy 10 items and get $5 back in one transaction?

      • sarahcas

I think as many as you want. Some stores have a limit so you probably want to check with the manager first just in case. I know I've gotten 30 items in one transaction before without any problems.

      • Emilyben

I had 5 times on my one transaction tonight. $25.00 off was nice!

      • stephanie

During the last Mega Sale, I asked one of the cashiers how many times the $5 would come off, and she told me as far as she knew it was unlimited. She said if she was wrong that she would personally have it taken off. (Knoxville, TN)

    • Mdavis1274

Can anyone help with the Kellogg's coupons? Is there a specific zip code that needs to be used? Every time I try to get the Wheatables or Rice Krispies treats coupons all I ever had the option to print was the cereal. I understand the Rice Krispies ran out of prints, is that the case on wheatables too? I also want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone on this site. I have been into this thing almost two weeks and having a blast saving money.

      • Faye

I can't get a coupon for Rice Krispies Treats either. The link takes me to cereal as well.

        • Stacey

This coupon was unavailable to print a month ago. Not sure why it is still posted unless to remind people that may have printed it out and havent used it yet.

    • TD29

I got the b2g1 free kraft easy mac Q and since the item is $1 before the mega deal I ended up getting the 3 easy macs for FREE. Cant get much better than that Kroger!!!

    • Clark7371

Just wanted to pass this along – I went to my Kroger tonight, and they said Kroger isn't going to accept buy 1 get one 1 free coupons any more because they said they aren't reimbursed for them. I don't think I buy that, why would manufacturers offer these coupons and not reimburse the retailers? I'm really tired of getting a hard time at Kroger for using internet coupons. I think I'll just find another grocery store.

      • Lrae17

Don't know where you're at, but at my Kroger in Columbia, SC, I was told last night that they would only take 2 of my Internet printed coupons in a transaction. I don't really get that. Either take them or not, but why only 2??? I too was frustrated.

        • Enoughsaid

I had a cashier tell me this a few months back. I went to customer service and it was suppose to be two like ip coupons. You may want to speak to them. Customer Service pulled out the policy and had her read it in front of me.

          • Amanda

Yes, that is true. You can use as many IP coupons as you want, but no more than two of a like coupon.

        • Shannon

Which Kroker? I hope not the one on Forest Drive.

          • Shannon

            oops, KROGER!

        • Erin

This has been a policy for a long time. I guess because two prints is usually the limit for a single computer. It actually works out fairly well–not nearly as much shelf-clearing this way.

        • $avingsLane

I asked a cashier at the Kroger on Two Notch in Columbia, SC about Kroger's coupon matching policy. She said they double coupons up to $0.49. I thought that was quite interesting, as I had thought they matched up to $0.50 before I moved to an area that has a Kroger…

      • Amanda

Generally, they will not take “free” IP coupons. Mine still take B1G1 IPs though. I guess they have seen too many fake free IP coupons.

      • Ash

My won't take internet buy one get one free coupons either. It's not that the manufacturers won't reimburse them, they totally would…I believe whomever you spoke with was misinformed as to the purpose behind the policy (either that or he/she didn't want to tell you the actual reason). Apparently Kroger has seen a lot of fraudulent internet coupons and cracked down on what they'll accept, even if it's a perfectly legitimate coupon. A classic case of a few bad apples spoiling the whole bunch.

        • Ash

Obviously I meant to say “My Kroger won't…” Clearly I need to go to bed, haha!

    • Dan

Cottonelle also has a printable on their website for $0.50 off (same as SS).

    • Are you sure the Philly cream cheese is included in the Kraft promo? I got a catalina with the specifics printed on it, and it didn’t list the cream cheese. I thought it was very cool that Kraft is also donating 5 meals to Feeding America when you buy 5 Kraft items and you get a $5 catalina.

    • ireneY

Caesar Bistro dog food had blinkie machines right in front of them. The Qs are B2G1. The cashier will deduct $1, so it'll be $.50 for three. My paper didn't have any of the listed Qs. This mega sale has been so sad, I actually thought this was a good deal!

    • Guest

Would be nice that we make sure the coupon matches the item before posted. As many of new people think it a match and use them the wrong way.

An example is buy one get one crush is for a 20 oz not a two 2 liter as the wording on the coupon.

      • Mechlingfamily

        Wow. Rude.

      • Katkoupon

I hope you don't let people like this discourage you. I am new to this also, but I do know to read the coupons carefully, it's common sense. I do want to say that I really appreciate all the work you do. I have only started a few weeks ago, and I am already saving so much money. I usually find the Kroger Ad on Friday nights, then go ahead and try to get started on my own match-ups, esp since learning how fast IP's go! Then I fall out before I can finish. Next day I come on here and am so tickled to see your match-ups posted. I always find some that I missed or didn't even know about. I keep hoping to find something to add, but not yet. I just wanted to say “Thanks!” for all you do. I mean, come on, how many of us have 2 hours to go and thoroughly search the store for unadvertised specials, and then to post them all, just to help others. Your kindness and efforts are appreciated so much! Just wanted you to know! ;)

        • Stacey

How exactly is her comment “discouraging”. If you are going to do something do it right huh? This is a service that Jenny has chosen to provide. While we all would agree it is awesome and appreciate she is helping us to save money, I would think she would want the information provided here to be accurate and not “unknowingly” encourange someone to use coupons that are not valid. After all it is her name and Southern Savers name being tossed around at the register when coupons do and dont work. If she creates the lists and match ups then she has the ability to remove a coupon match up if it really isn't a match up. I don think this comment is out of line at all.

          • Mike

I agree Stacey.. I don't know what being a newbie or a veteran couponer has to do with inaccurate coupons being listed. The person who posted this comment is asking the right question. “why list a coupon that isn't valid” These other comments about being able to read a coupon are just missing the point. Isn't it more work to list an inaccurate coupon then to not list it at all? And if you list it, but haven't actually seen the coupon but are made aware that the coupon is in fact no accurate then why not remove it?

            • Sebastian's Mommy

You know what is a lot of work…not having SouthernSavers to attempt to use coupons in the first place. Anyone ever heard of being grateful?

            • Marina115

Between her three kids and matching coupons to ads all day, I don't know if Jenny has the time to sit and read through 200 comments under every store to make sure she didn't miss something. Not everything comes on a silver platter. We all have to put some effort into it as well.

            • Mike

Do you really think she does this all by herself? She has help. She depends on other people to handle some of the store sales for her and she has college students that help her (at least that is what she said in her class) Again, I fail to see the point here. The question is why is the coupon even listed? Do you have any idea how she determines what coupons to list? Is she not using these very coupons herself?

            • Sweetheart

My husband gets his undies in a wad some days too. I've learned to overlook the “nagging about every small detail” and forgive him. Sorry you are having such a bad day Mike. Hopefully the venting made you feel better.

Proud mom of a college student… and YES, we both make mistakes. I'm sure Jenny makes them. I'm sure Mike makes them. I'm sure everyone on this site has made a mistake from time to time… I'm assuming Jesus doesn't need to use your site Jenny :)

      • cullumosity

It's alright, you know. Even us newbies know that you have to look @ the coupons to make sure you can use it. I mean, we don't all have the same coupons anyway….
I really appreciate all the work you do. I use your site to make sure that I'm not missing out on any great deals. Thanks for all you do!

      • Djmckerrow1

      • Wording is everything. The way this comment is expressed comes across as rude. “Would be nice that we make sure…” creates a negative intent in the message.
Stacey and Mike are right, I'm sure the report of inconsistencies is appreciated. No one wants their work to be inaccurate or misleading. However, “the guest” could have simply stated that there was a conflict in the coupon that printed for him/her and the product listed. Sometimes different regions get different coupons.

I completely get where Katkoupon felt the tone of the message was discouraging. I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into this site and it is available for free. Maybe if we were all paying for the service I could see coming across in this manner. However, a free service that is provided to save ME money – I can overlook a few errors. Maybe we all need to get over ourselves – or maybe the site should stay silent a few days and allow us to miss the service enough to be grateful.

        • Alex

The crush coupon “guest” mentioned is a printable coupon,, that isn't going to very by region.

          • Emily

Actually, that's not true. I have seen coupons to vary between two computers in my own house using the same zip code to search by. It was $2/1 on one computer and only $1/1 on the other. I think sometimes the coupons are modified even with the same link. But I agree with what most everyone else is saying. Just think of how much Southern Savers has saved you in the last week, two weeks, month, six months, or year and you should be grateful. Everyone makes mistakes. Feel free to point them out to be corrected, but do it nicely.

      • Vivianmarie244

I agree with D.R. Wording is everything. No matter what your intent was in posting this, it came across as rude. It may have been better received if you had just stated that the coupon match for the following items are incorrect. Jenny does make corrections on her lists when needed.

    • Laura

I ran across half price closeout deals on numerous brands of cold & allergy meds at Kroger today.

Also found half price closeout on a few types of Neutrogena facial products.

      • ireneY

Laura, do you remember the brands? I'd love to be armed with some possible Qs! TIA!

    • SaverDawg

I ran across a SmartSource Coupon Machine with $1 coupons for Luvs Diapers in the diaper aisle this week! Makes the best diapers an even better buy!

    • Faye

A .50 off coupon can be found in the bottom right hand corner of this page:

    • Palazesi

Kroger in Holly Springs GA yesterday had a blinkie for Buy 2 get 1 FREE Doritoes!

    • Chrissy

Is Sargento part of the Buy 5 Kraft Catalina? My gut instinct says no, but I wanted to double check first. Thanks!

      • No, just the Kraft brand cheese.

    • Allie

Has anyone else printed the SpaghettiO's coupon? It printed ok, but there are no numbers under the bottom barcode. Is that normal? I've only printed a few IP coupons so far and they all had barcodes AND numbers as far as I can remember.

      • cb

When I printed, there were numbers under the barcode.

    • CC

There are coupons at campbells website for 50 cents off 2…so since they are .49 cents at kroger, each will be .25 cents.

      • Guest

Kroger doubles coupons up to 50 cents… so really, it is $1 off 2. Therefore, it is free! :-)

    • Minni

Clarify the Catalina deal: If I buy 5 Philly cream cheese I get 5 dollars off on my next purchase?

      • Yes! Make sure to only buy them 5 per transaction since the system won't give multiples of the same deal on one transaction. (Normally)

        • whatadeal

hey! is the Catalina on the 5 kraft items a regular $5 your next purchase “compliments of kraft” like we normally see OR is it a survey by “ShoppersSpeak” where they send you a $5 check within 6-8 weeks of taking the survey? OR both?

        • whatadeal

and thank you for the research and time you put into all of this to make our shopping much easier! :)

    • Amanda

I saw that Kraft catalina advertisement print last week right after I purchased five Kraft cheeses and used my good coupons.:( I will have to look for more coupons.

      • Chrissy

Amanda, do you think a Kraft Catalina will print if I try the deal today? I'd prefer to go to the store today as opposed to tomorrow… Thanks for your help!

        • Amanda

The advertisement says, Buy 5 or more Kraft Cheese & Dairy Products between 7/19/10-8/15/10, get a $5 coupon off a future purchase. So, the promotion starts tomorrow. I wouldn't chance it. I just wish I knew and saved my coupons to get the even better deal. I guess that is the way couponing goes sometimes though. I still did good, but I think it would have all ended up being free if I got the catalina too.

      • Kim

        Me too!! Bummer.

    • nicole m

The only Kellogg's cereal that was $1.98 at our store in North Augusta, SC, were Cocoa Puffs and Raisin Bran. None of the others were that cheap.

      • Tntmcguire05

Same story here in Cartersville, Ga with the Kellogg's Cereal. Only Raisin Bran

      • Whitney

The sale prices weren't advertised in the cereal aisle at my store, but I found them on an end cap.

    • Agdgrl76

I was very disappointed on alot of the printable links that did not work or did not have the product it was suppose to have.

      • Shoot me an email or comment on what is bad and I'll get it fixed. Many of these I've already printed so for me to check they don't show up anyway since my personal print limit is reached. Always up for making the list better though!

        • Mnccaleb

I can't seem to get the softsoap link to work – it keeps trying to close the tab even when I refresh.

          • Cindy

I can't get the Softsoap either. Same thing is happening to me

    • Kim

I see no coupon for cutips-anyone????

    • Amy

First time I tried the Mega Sale where I bought 10 of the listed items (6 vitamin water, 3 Red Gold tomatoes and 1 Kraft cheese). I did get the $5 off at the register but the price I paid for say, Vitamin Water was not .75 as listed above but $1.25. I was told I had to buy 10 of any one item to get the lowest price on that item. So I did go back and get 4 more Vitamin waters and the price dropped to .75 a piece. Their ad is kind of misleading. It says you get the lowest price if you buy any 10 of participating items. Not true.

      • Laura

The price listed above is after your $5 off. So essentially you get 50 cents off the item price. Like your vitamin water will show the price of $1.25, with the $5 off its like paying .75.

        • Amy

Thanks, Laura. The more I thought about it, I realized where my mistake was. I now see it the way you describe it. I guess I was expecting way too good of a deal!! :)

    • Tracy Selle

Hi, I'm new here and have a quick question.

My weekly add starts on Wednesday…..it that the Wednesday included in this post or is the Wednesday prior?

      I hope that makes sense!!

      • Most areas that have a Wednesday start date start a few days after this ad. The South East region starts Sunday and then other areas follow with most if not all of the same deals a few days later.

        • Tracy Selle

          Thank you, Jenny! : )

    • Katarain

Will the Kraft Catalina roll? If I buy 5 Kraft cream cheeses first, and use the $5 catalina that prints for 5 Kraft shredded cheeses, will another $5 catalina print?

      • Maria

I want to know this also. Can I buy 5 then turn around and buy 5 more and pay for them with the catalina?

        • Yes! But to get the good price you have to have 5 other items that are a part of the mega sale as well…then just do separate transactions and keep rolling them! I always let the cashier know I'd like to do several transactions before they start ringing me up.

      • Ash

I'm wondering this myself, I'm almost positive that it will, but not 100% sure.

      • ireneY

        YES! It's a beautiful thing.

      • Gigi

How did you get the Kraft catalina? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it's just my bad luck. I can't get any catalinas.

    • Rountreemom

Found bags of Tostitos at Kroger with $2 off peelies, which means I got them for less than a $1 a bag!

    • Laura

Anyone find the boulder chips coupon?

      • Sonia

I got mine off of coupons.com

    • Mandasparkles7

AWESOME deal on Spaghettio's, thanks for finding that coupon Jenny!!! Very appreciated, I love spaghettio's and coupons for them seem to be rare, not to mention this will make them FREE!

    • Melissa

Wow, guess not all are welcome to post on here.

    • Rachel

there's a $1 off contessa in the aug all you mag too=2.98

    • Caroline

Will the Vitaminwater Zero coupon ($1/2) from the August All You work in the mega sale since Vitaminwaters are part of it?

    • Fgavent

Has anyone found Kraft tearpads or blinkie coupons for $1/2 in Aiken SC or Augusta, GA. I made a special trip to North Augusta, SC and they did not have. I need a bunch of cheese?

    • Aynnie

I am trying to get to the Tombstone pizza $2 off coupon with the facebook link. It goes to a Redirect Notice. Has anyone had that problem? Any idea how to get the coupon?

      • Laura

here’s a different url that worked for me

      • Fgavent

I printed it last night (two copies). I clicked “like” without being logged in and then logged in (don't know if it makes a difference but it worked for me). It then had a link for click to print coupon. It was a Bricks coupon. Good Luck!

      • Nvhome1

yes, but just go to facebook & search tombstone pizza & check out savings on their page. You need to list your favorite summer activity & post to your facebook page & it will then offer you the coupon.

    • ireneY

This is a strange mega sale. Normally, there's a printed list of participating items at the stores. I found and posted (in last week's thread) a typed list, but found more things in the stores. They weren't well known brands, but still! In the ethnic hair section, Murray's pomade and Lustrasilk gel were included. Did anyone else find any other hidden deals?

      • Laura

There was a stack of printed lists at my Atlanta area store, up front by the registers.
It says “participating products may vary by store” on both sides. Murrays or Lustrasilk are not on the list. A lot of products not on Jennys list are. So apparently it does vary by region.

Here are mega items from our Atlanta list that are not on Jennys list above. Some aren't very descriptive so I'm just typing what it says. No prices are listed.
I didn't find any coupon matches for most :(

    • Lara

Where do you get the Kraft Food and Family magazine and the Rouge magazine?

    • Gigi

I”m in Jackson MS area and I typically shop at 2 different Kroger stores depending where I am at the time. And I have gotten big fat 0 catalinas for at least the last 4 shopping trips. I had them check the machines and I know they were working because I saw coupon left in one by someone else and saw them print other times. I used to get them alot before I started paying that much attention to them but now nothing. Help please if anyone has any suggestions.

      • joanna00

The past few times I haven't had anything, either. I thought that maybe it was because I don't shop as heavily at Kroger since I've recently discovered Publix. Hearing that someone else is experiencing this, though, makes me wonder…

    • Dheming

i didn't get $5 back or any coupon back for the cream cheese.

      • Leeann

The picture on the Kraft peelie that was on my shredded cheese shows the cream cheese as being part of the deal. It says any Kraft cheese or dairy item!

    • Tfy41

anyone found filet mignon for $8.99 lb

    • Leeann

Just got back from store- Kraft Catalina is working and the shredded cheese even has a peelie on it that advertises the deal.

    • Juliea201

Anyone know if you can buy a mix of the Kraft shredded cheese and cream cheese (i.e. 3 shredded cheeses, 2 cream cheeses = 5 total products) to get the catalina?

      • Jenny

You can! I just did this morning :)

      • Rbryant1201

I don't know, but I'm frustrated. I bought 2 shredded cheeses and 3 cream cheese and I didn't get the Catalina. Just did this a couple of hours ago.

        • Allysonhage

I bought 4 shredded and one cream cheese and got the Catalina.

    • Marlene

Does anyone know how many deals you can get. I was told only 4

      • Fgavent

This is a good question. I did four transactions today (and received four catalina's) and rolled three of my catalina's with no problems. I was going to get more catalina's and roll again later in the week.

    • june

So is the trick to getting the $5 off AND the kraft $5 catalinas to make your kraft purchases in multiples of 10 and doing separate transactions? IE if I want to buy 5 crm chz and 5 shredded chz I should buy them in separate orders with 5 other sale items on each order?

      • Sarah

Exactly…but I just tried this with 3 Kraft Natural shredded cheese and 2 Philly cream cheese and didn't get the $5 catalina. Anyone know the number to call the Catalina company to contest this?

    • Michelle

Anyone else having trouble finding the Miracle Whip coupon? I clicked the “Like” button, but I don't see the coupon.

      • Kevin

After you like them you have to back to the facebook page and there is a link on the left hand side to print it.

    • Allysonhage

Great day at Kroger. Spent $39.87, saved $71.34. And I got $5 off on next order. Woohoo!

    • Glosmommy

Kinda bummed….I went to Kroger today and bought 5 different Kraft/Sargento cheeses. I did not get my $5 catalina coupon. Customer service told me you could do the Mega Sale $5 instantly or the $5 catalina but not both.

      • Fgavent

They are wrong! I did the 5 Kraft cheeses four times and rolled the catalina three times (I am going back again another day to “roll” some more. . It needs to be Kraft cheese (not including the Sargento cheese) to get the catalina. The catalina says “limit one per purchase.” Please note to get the $5 MEGA sale you have to buy 10 items. There’s a new Catalina Deal starting at Kroger! Buy 5 participating Kraft Items, between 7/19 – 8/15 and receive $5 on your next order!Participating Kraft Items:Kraft Singles (please note NOT part of MEGA sale) 1.79Kraft Parmesan CheeseKraft Natural Cheese Chunks, Shredded, Crumbles (5 oz.+)Kraft String-Ums CheeseKraft Cracker Cuts CheeseKraft Deli-Deluxe Cheese SlicesPhiladelphia Cream CheeseVelveeta Cheese ProductCracker Barrel CheeseCheez Whiz Processed CheeseBreakstone’s Sour CreamBreakstone’s Cottage CheeseKnudsen Sour CreamKnudsen Cottage CheeseThese are all listed on Southern Savers at the top of the site:http://www.southernsavers.com/food-lion-coupons

      • LuBrad

You should be able to do both. I did not have a problem. I did 3 separate transactions on the cream cheese and Kraft shredded and the register took off $5 Mega Sale and then the catalina printed the $5 coupon.

        • whatadeal

was it a regular catalina or a $5 for your opinion on a survey coupon with a code?
          Thanks for your help

      • Fgavent

The problem is that you included the Sargento cheese in your 5 count for the $5 Kraft catalina. See post above for what qualifies. I would return the four Kraft cheeses and buy them back again along with a fifth qualifying item.

      • gapchmomma

they have to be all kraft..sargento is part of the mega sale but will not produce a catalina..

      • ASmith

I don't think that is true. I did 5 singles yesterday and 5 other misc. items and I rec'd the 5 off from mega sale and a printed 5 off next order catalina. Some of the items you purchased for the catalina must not have been included I believe it is the KRAFT branded cheese not the Sargento brand.

      • Glosmommy

you guys are right…I misread the deal and somehow thought Sargento was participating too. Customer service did tell me that it wasn't printing for many people that day though and the only way they could get it to print was to not scan a kroger card and therefore not give the mega sale deal.

      • Derricks210

In White House…I bought 5 Kraft shredded cheese/part of the mega event and after check-out I also got the $5 Catalina deal back. So not sure what customer service meant on you can't have both! :(

      • Tonya

That is not true. I have done it about 6 times already. I believe your problem is the combo Kraft/Sargento. It has to be all Kraft products to get the catalina. I have cheese to last till December. :)

    • Lprvs

I found a .55/q sargento cheese any variety blinkie today in ingles!!!!

      • Doramccary

What is a blinkie? I see this term all the time but have no idea what it is.

        • Hey there, a “blinkie” is an in-store dispenser. On all Southern Savers lists they are just listed as in-store dispensers.

    • Deanna

I can't get the Mircle Whip coupon on ?FB. Any suggestions

    • Gillian

Last week I bought a bunch of Kraft cheese and the following was printed off Catalina-style to give me the heads up on this week's Buy 5 Save $5 deal. I didn't see all the details listed yet so I thought I pass along the info. Sorry if this duplicates previously posted information!

All items must be purchased in one shopping order. Limited to product in stock. No cash back.

    • Andrea

Does anyone know if the Boca crumbles are included in the Mega Event? My store keeps the crumbles in a different location from the patties – one is in the organic section and the other is with the regular freezer stuff. The patties had the sign stating they were part of the event but the crumbles weren't marked at all. The list of the ME items just says Boca products. I was afraid to chance it and ruin my multiples of 10!

    • Ash

Will Kroger take an expired coupon if it expired yesterday? Probably not, but I guess I'll have to ask anyway.

      • Mechlingfamily

Yes! Most places will take them for up to a week after.

    • Becky

I have an ecoupon for $2 off of 2 and then I have a paper coupon for B1G1….to get the $2 off and the B1G1 deal how many do I actually put in my cart? Can I just put 2 in my cart and use both coupons??

      • itismedia

You have to buy 3. The first coupon requires you to buy two to use it and the second one requires you to buy one (that will be met with the first two) and then get one free so that would be the third one. Make sense?

        • Rachel

I've had success just putting two in my cart. I did this for the old spice body wash a couple weeks ago. I think that might be the product you are talking about.

    • Gillian

I just wanted to add a few more deals I noticed when I was at Kroger tonight. As it has been mentioned previously, deals vary by store. Also, I am not perfect by any means so please don’t heckle me if I make an error or two!

      Right Guard Deodorant $1.50
$3/2 Right Guard Total Defense (coupons.com, zip code 76109)

      Ore Ida Potatoes $2.29

      L’Oreal Kids Toy Story 3 Shampoo $1.50

      Colgate Wisps $1.50
$0.50/1 Colgate Wisp 4 ct. or higher (All You, July 2010)

St. Ives Advanced Body Moisturizer $2.50

Irish Spring Soap 3 pk. $1.00

      Dixie Napkins $1.49

Chapstick (excluding Chapstick Naturals and Ultra SPF 30)

      • lyssibee

Thanks for posting about the L'Oreal Kids shampoo :) I found a .75/1 coupon in 6/6 RP for it which made it an even better deal. Thanks again!

    • King Laura80

I have never heard of Kroger home mailer. How do I get one?

      • Jennifer C

I registered online with Kroger a little over a year ago. I don't remember where in the site. They send coupons every few months.

      • I've been signed up with them as well, but I have never received anything. HELP!

    • courtney_80

my local Kroger had peelies on the regular Wheatables crackers “buy one box of wheatables get one box of wheatables nut crisps free”. ended up getting 4 boxes of wheatables for free after coupons and mega event deal:

      2 boxes regular wheatables = 3.98
      2 boxes nut crisp wheatables = 3.98

      use $1 IP for wheatables x 2
      use B1G1 peelies x 2
take off $.50 per item for mega event ($2.00)
      =$0.02 in overage

tons of free stuff today at kroger but that is one i hadn't heard anyone mention yet! it was a nice surprise and the nut crisps are actually pretty good.

    • Rbryant1201

Anyone in the Nashville area had success with the Kraft Catalina deal? I'm afraid to try it again w/o knowing that it works. I purchased 2 Kraft Natural shredded cheeses and 3 philadelphia cream cheese and did not receive my $5 off next order.

      • Ritalynch

I would like to know too. I am going today and would like to know. I am in the Nashville area.

      • Allie

I went to Kroger in White House today just north of Nashville and it did NOT work for me. I didn't get the Dannon catalina either :(

        • Derricks210

I did the Kraft Catalina Deal Monday in White House and I got the $5 coupon at check out. Maybe take your receipt back to Krogers and show them that you bought the 5 Krafts cheese and see if they will give you your $5 back. I hope this works for you! It is a great deal. I was actually wondering if you can do the deal more than once?!?!?!

          • Rbryant1201

As long as you do ONLY Kraft 5 items per transaction, yes you can do the deal multiple times. The thing is you can only get one $5 oyno at a time.

      • Derricks210

Maybe the problem was it has to be the same product, like 5 Kraft or 5 Philadelphia cream cheese. I did the 5 Kraft and my Catalina printed. Hope this helps~

    • Grammy

I'm not finding all the Kellogg's cereal eCoupons. I have the Raisin Bran Crunch but no others. Is there another site I should be using? Thanks.

      • Grammy, again

I found the Kellogg's coupons, when I played the summer of savings game but they won't load to my card….will try, again, later….

    • Brandi

Is anyone else having problems with the Kroger eCoupons coming off at check out? The last few trips I have noticed that 3 or 4 have not come off and I have not used a paper coupon for those items, so I don't know what the problem could be. The problem coupons are the ones added directly from the Kroger website.

      • Tiffyre

I was told the other day that items on “manager's special” won't work with eCoupons. That actually happened to me with a rotisserie chicken once. I'm not sure that's the only reason though.

      • sydney

I had that problem the other day too. I just went to the customer service and told them what happened and they refunded me the amount of the coupons that should have come off.

      • Chrissy

Tha happened to me too and the lady at customer service told me I had to call Kroger.

    • annemarie73

There is also a catalina deal on the Idahoan potatoes. I bought 5 and got a $1.00 catalina the other day. I don't know the dates or how many you have to buy, the coupon was not specific in the details.

    • Sdavisva

$1/2 Quaker Rice Snacks coupon: This will make them FREE (in the Mega sale). Here’s the link:http://www.redplum.com/pages/ViewOffer.aspx?id=

Does Kroger accept competitors coupons. I just tried to use the $2 off fresh fish that BiLo had in Sundays paper at the Kroger on Forest Drive in Columbia. They finally took it but were adamant that they do not take competitors coupons.

I'd love to see a post that shows who takes competitors and who doesn't. I know Publix has always taken my Kroger coupons.

      • AK

Kroger does not take competitor coupons. Sorry :(

      • Mechlingfamily

Kroger does NOT take competitor coupons.

    • Thehovites

The catalina sign was up LAST week and I bought five Kraft cheeses. I didn't see a date of when the special $5 offer started. I didn't realize until I got home that I hadn't gotten a catlina coupon because I take my own grocery bags and the young man who was bagging my groceries didn't really know how to bag (fundraising for a sports team not a regular employee). I was so frustrated with how fast the checker was sending the items flying across the scanner and the guy who was doing such poor bagging that I didn't even think to ask about my coupon.

    • Rose_lunsford

The Scotch brite is not part of the mega sale and the coupon in the ajc is for 1.00 off two. I did not get my 5.00 off at the end since I only wound up with 8 items because I bought two Scoth brites. bummer!

    • Donna

      Body wash moneymaker:
Load Kroger e-coupons for Olay body wash and Ivory body wash onto your Kroger card.
Buy 1 Olay body wash for $4.99, use P&G paper coupon from 6/6 for $4 off of 1 body wash; buy 1 Ivory body wash for $1.00, use P&G paper coupon from 6/6 -One free Ivory product when you buy one Olay product
      $4.99 + $1.00=$5.99 minus $4 paper coupon, minus $1.50 e-coupon, minus $1 paper coupon, minus $ .50 e-coupon = $1.01 moneymaker plus 2 free bottles of body wash =)

      • ireneY

Donna, that sounds like an amazing deal! Did you check to see if exactly those amounts came off your order? Last time I tried to use a paper Q with e-Q, the paper Q was adjusted down so no overages occurred.

        • Donna

My cashier did not adjust my paper coupons. It might depend on the store and the cashier though.

      • Kelly

I have a question. I have three $4 off coupons and three B1G1 Ivory coupons. I loaded my e-coupons already. How many times can I do this?? Will I need to reload my ecoupons????

        • Donna

You can only do the deal once because you will have to go home and reload the e-coupons before doing it the second time.

      • Donna

The e-coupons are no longer available on the Kroger site, but they are available on the P&G site.

    • Holly

I found two great coupons that are part of the mega sale in my area.

Quaker Oat Quakes are $.49 (after the $5 off mega event) in my area and I found a save $1/2 coupon here: http://www.quakeroats.com/products.aspx?view=RiceSnacks
I printed 2 coupons and got four bags free.

Soft Soap was on sale for $1.00 each and I found a coupon for $.50/1 here: http://www.colgate.com/app/LatherUpForGoodHealth/US/EN/HomePage.cvsp
My Kroger doubles coupons and I got the bottle for free. (I could print two coupons, but it said on it limit one per household, so I only used one of them.)

      • AllieV

      • Kelly

        thank you holly!!!

      • Maria

I cant find the Oat coupons, please help

    • Does anyone know how long the Mega Event is going on? Is it just a 2 week thing?

      • Mechlingfamily

This is week 2 of the event.

    • Amy

I loaded the $7 Crest Professional White Strips ecoupon and when in with the $10 off any Crest Whitestrips coupon. Since the Professional strips were something like $44, I decided to just get the regular $22 strips and use the $10 paper coupon. The $7 ecoupon came off too though, so they ended up being $5!

    • Shannonvargas

Has anyone else had problems using the coupons for Gatorade. I bought 31 bottles of Gatorade and used (2) B10G5 and (7) $1/3 peelies. For some reason, the buy 10 get 5 free would not ring up. It said something about price exceeded. The manager saw where it said: Final price after coupons is 15 for $10 which averages out to $.67 per bottle. She said it would not ring up because the price after the mega event was less than the $.67 per bottle. I had to get back to work and she said she would ring it up as $2.50 for the 5 free since they were $.50 after the mega event. I know I ended up losing $5.00 and I am trying to find out how to go about this so when I do it again at my Kroger. Sorry for the rambling, but I am very frustrated. Thanks.

    • Shannonvargas

This is what the deal would have looked like just in case.
      31 Gatorade = 33.17 after tax
      3 Mega Deals = -15.00
      2 B10G5Free = -10.00
      7 $1/3 Peelies = -7.00
      Total after coupons = $1.17
Please tell me if I am wrong.

    • Gamecockshan

      Can I stack an “e-coupon” with a manufacturer's coupon?

      • Runfromreality

        yes u can

    • Guest

Does anyone know if the Boca crumbles are part of the Mega Event? Mine weren't marked as such, but the patties were.

    • LuckyDay!

So, I am not sure that all Kroger stores hve this, but my Kroger in N.Georgia has a “closeout” bin of non-food items that have been tagged as manager specials. I went bin diving today and found the Biore Steam activated facial cleansers marked down from 7.99 to 2.15 a bottle. The bottle had a $2/2 hand tag, so I got two bottles for $2.30. On the bottle I purchased, it had a special promotion that if I went online to fill out a survey (which I just did), I get a $15 prepaid mastercard. I just make $12.70 on a bin diving excursion!!!! YAY!

    • Amy

So how often does Kroger have a Mega Event this huge? I am dying to go back this week and stock up…but my funds are running low. I just started “couponing/stockpiling” back in June and I am so excited. I cannot believe some of the great deals I have been blessed to find “THANKS” to Jenny and Dede's coupons. LOVIN IT!!

    • ASmith

Today Kroger accused me of copying the Soft Soap coupon, so frustrating . I did speak to the manager and he tried to smooth it over and they gave me the 50 cents off without doubling but I am not sure it is worth it some days. I get that they can refuse to accept a coupon but they have no right to accuse me copying a coupon.

    • susansaver

Does anyone know if the Lean Cuisine catalina deal is rolling? I have the $3 coupon and I want to go back to get more with it but don't want to risk not getting the other catalina if I use this one as payment.

      • Tonya

Yes it will roll. I have been stocking up on cheese all week and it has worked everytime.

    • Thought I would share that Kroger in Richmond, VA has Fresh Selections bag salad for only $1 this week.

      • akelly

awww. i was just in the rittenhouse drive store and they were marked $2.29. i left my coupon stuck with the carrots :(

    • rebecca

I just wanted to mention that I read somewhere today (can't remember where) that Mentos gum was a participating item. And it IS. It's 50 cents after the mega sale and there were coupons in this past Sunday's paper and I think also in the 4/18 SS for 55 cents off one bottle or $1/2. Either way, FREE! Definitely helpful.

    • Rachel

thank you to whoever posted about the wheatables peelies!! got 8 boxes today for 50c each (and one for free with a $1.50 IP I got a while back)

got five ivory body washes for free- on sale-not mega- for $1 and used 50c coupons from newspaper (thank you couponclippers(dot)com!!)

they let me use the 50c off buns coupon from the kroger home mailer on some marked down wheat buns, got a pkg for 50c.

wishbone salad dressing is 1.50 after mega, only 50c with doubled 50c coupon from kroger home mailer.

stretch island fruit strips are 22c each after B2G1 IP coupons

got a free clif kids bar with coupon that printed when I returned something

lipton tea-pyramid bags- are 2.15 minus 50c ecoupon minus doubled 40c newspaper coupon=85c!

south beach bar ecoupon did not come off but the kelloggs raison bran and frosted mini wheats did 75c-$1 for cereal works for me!

saved $166 today, a great trip!!

    • caseyandgrantsmom

Forced myself into Kroger today (just not a fan of the confusing atmosphere) and came out very pleased with my savings. I bought 43 items for $37 ($116 before sales/coupons). I bought 30 items from the Mega sale to get $15 off and found 10/$10 great deals plus a couple must haves. Whitehouse Apple Juice 64oz was part of the 10/$10 event and that's just a great price, especially with 2 young children.

    • Abi

Went to Kroger today….was told I couldn't use my free Libby's can of vegetables coupon because it was fraudulent then the cashier proceeded to tear it to bits and throw it away!! Last visit stuff ran up at the wrong price and I had to go to customer dis-service.

Kroger. Where Shopping is A Displeasure.

      • Ginger

OMG, you're kidding! That is UNREAL. Who does she think she is (or he,) destroying your personal property? I would be throwing an enormous fit in that situation.
(My Kroger wouldn't take them either, but at least they didn't rip them up.)

    • dharvn

      really ticked off 'cause kroger.com isn't working properly….. :(

    • akelly

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We had a blast…actually, my feet hurt and my brain is whirling! lol…but we just spent $42.48 and saved $283.25 and got 2 Redbox codes to boot! Yay!! Love, love these Kroger Mega Events! And your blog and hard work helped us save big time. The hubs is so proud. And we have cheese to last a month or more :) I could give you the rundown, but it'd take a while. The coolest part of our Kroger event was that our Kraft cheese was 99 cents after the sale and printed the $5 catalina for buying 5…and it rolled! Finally quit doing that transaction and bought some ice cream for the kids with the last $5 cat. Fun night, thanks to you! Kudos!

    • Christy H.

Ok I goofed somewhere because I THOUGHT I bought 20 of the Mega Sale items but only one $5.00 came off in the end. I was in a hurry (late to work!) so I couldn't question the cashier right then. I wonder if for some reason the Soft Soap was not included in my store?? I noticed the sign said 10/$10 but I don't remember seeing the Mega Sale tag by it. Funny thing is, when I was checking my receipt it didn't even ring up $1.00, it was $1.50! Anyone know if I can try to “make up the difference” if I go back later today. Like say if I buy two more items to take the place of the soap will it then give me the $5.00 since my card should keep track of the purchase? Wishful thinking probably but has anyone else had a similar issue? Thanks!

      • Rachel

only certain kinds of soft soap were included in the mega sale at my store.

once I bought 9 instead of 10 mega items by accident. took the receipt and an extra mega item to cust. service and they were happy to ring up the item & gave me cash back. should be no problem!

        • Christy H.

Wow, I may try that this afternoon! Thanks Rachel!

    • kaseyshadow

I'm sure this is answered on here somewhere, but I can't find it. Can you use an ecoupon and a printed coupon on the same product?

      • Dmllr813

I need to know this too! HELP US SOMEONE!

        • Tlbmcguirecoupons

Mfr and ecoupons do work on the same item. in the past few weeks i've gotten several of the items that had ecoupons and i used mfr coupons too and they both worked.

      • Dmllr813

I kept on reading down below and someone asked the same question and was told yes, we can use mnf and e coupon. I would love to hear Jenny reassure before my shopping trip, but I am definitely gonna try it…especially on those tide stain boosters, venus razor, and corn flakes.

      • Dmllr813

Up at the top of her Kroger deals, she has a “remember” section…in it has a section on E coupons and says that yes, we can use paper coupon and e coupon at the same time. ! So, Woohoo!

        • kaseyshadow

Thank you all so much. We only have a few Krogers around so I haven't shoped there before.

      • Sm7212

Yes, you can use both in most Kroger stores. However, I have seen other individuals post a comment here stating that their store is no longer permitting it. So you might want to check your stores policy. Mine in Cincinnati, Ohio allows both on the same product.

      • Music88teach

I have used both ecoupon and a printed manufactuer's several times.

    • Atputman

May I post a suggestion? Thanks.
Is there a way that you could have the blue phrase at the top of the grocery list print on the printed copy of the shopping list.
I made a big mistake yesterday when I printed off my shopping list because I didn't know to read the main shopping list, just picked what I was looking for to get out the door. So when I get home I paid way too much for items that were on the mega sale because I didn't “buy enough”. If it was printed I would have had it in front of me at the store. Thank you for all you do to make it possible for us to use coupons and thanks for letting me vent.

      • Dmllr813

    • Clarkcreations

My Kroger in Myrtle Beach, SC had some of their Crest Toothpaste 10 for 10, after the .50/1 Crest Toothpaste in the RP 6/27 it was FREE!!!! The Kids Crest was also 10 for 10. This was a great deal.

    • Linda

How many times can you use an ecoupon? In other words, if I buy an item and i have a kroger ecoupon and use it, then does it come off my card?? If it stays on, how many times can it be used? Finally, can i buy multiples of the item and get the ecoupon discount for all of them? I know these are a lot of questions but trying to learn and unfortunately, grocery stores are no help here. Thanks

    • Lesmoore9

Doritos are one sale for $1.99 a bag, and they have a coupon on the front for a free bag when you buy 2 bags, I did this deal last night and was suprised to see that when they took off for my free bag they took the whole price of $3.92 off so that was 3 bags of doritos for $2.05 that's .68 a bag what a deal…

    • Vijtai01

Hefty freezer bags are for .88 cents, are there any printable hefty mfr coupons out there?

    • Seilclavin

Just got back from Kroger and bought 12 packages of Cheese and 3 Cream Cheese. No $ off your next purchase printed. I hate Kroger! Why can't my Publix get back into the groove?!

    • danica

went to kroger today, no catalina (murfreesboro on memorial), but still great deal on the $5 off 10 items

    • khorne

I had the same problem with buying cream cheese and not getting the catalina.
