Harris Teeter Triples

It is official, Harris Teeter will start a week of triples this Wednesday! That means any 99 cent or less coupon will be tripled. Everything over 99 cents is it’s normal face value.
They will triple 20 coupons per day.
I’m working on a master triples list and will have it up before I go to bed tonight, (though that might be after you go to bed)!
Yippeee!! Can’t wait for triples…it’s been so long since they’ve had them.

Does anyone know if the Kroger in Brentwood, TN. also will be doing the triples too?
They usually always do in that area, so I would expect it. Kroger triples and a Mega Event… if only I wasn’t 5 hours from TN.
Does anyone know if the Krogers around Bellevue are?
I just called the Belle Meade Kroger (Harding rd near White Bridge intersection). They said they would not know for sure until Wednesday. I guess they want to see the HT ad in print before they commit, and I can understand that. But they did say that if HT is tripling, then they will as well. Yay! Seriously, I am going to have to clear a space in the attic before I can go shopping!
I know the one off Hwy 100 is tripling. I was there last week and am a constant coupon shopper! They always see me coming with my binder… He told me that they were gearing up for senior day and the first day of triples starting wednesday on top of the Mega Event. I am so excited! Last time H-T had super triples, that Kroger did triple. It was FABULOUS!

Last time HT tripled, Kroger followed later that day or the next. They generally won’t tell you in advance, so call them Wednesday or Thursday.
The new HT in Franklin is now open. Anyone heard any rumors about the Kroger’s in Franklin beginning to triple too?

No, I’m right there with you…Although I must admit, my husband is highly bothered by it!
Really? My husband LOVES HT triples! When I go through my coupons each week he asks like a little boy “is is HT triples this week?” and gets sad when I tell him no. lol!

Mine too, Morgan! I know he appreciates my thriftiness, but we just don’t have alot of storage space. Fortunately, the weather is cooling off, so I can stash things in my attic, where he won’t see them! :-)

Just so you guys know, even if you call the Kroger in Brentwood or Nashville, they will NOT tell you they are, even if they are until THE DAY of. So if they say they aren’t I wouldnt be surprised if they still ended up tripling starting Wed.
Right! Don’t give up on your Kroger until Wednesday! As I said above, they probably want to see the HT ad in print before they commit to doing triples, and I don’t blame them.
i am a newbie only been doing this two and half weeks and we are excited about this….I hope it lives up to the hype!

what time does it start at a 24hr store?
The computers reset to start tripling at 7am in most stores (though sometimes they might lag behind a bit, so be sure to watch the register to make sure everything triples that should - once I had to have them override everything on my order to triple at about 10 minutes past 7). A good strategy is to get there a little early and be ready to check out at a few minutes past 7.
what happens to any overage when using the coupons? for instance the starkist tuna .50 off 1 pouch and say the pouch is $1 dollar and coupon would triple to $1.50 does that extra .5 reduce overall total? or is it truncated to match merchandise price?
To chris: Harris Teeter will not allow for overage. So the coupon will only “multiply” up to the exact value of the product.

Can someone answer a question for me - if I live in Mt. Juliet, behind Providence, which triple coupon Krogers is closest to me? Last time around I went to Nippers Corner but their shelves were wiped out of the coupon items. I’m kind of new to the area so I don’t really understand the nick names for the branches. Can anyone help me find the closest one?
I always go to the one in Brentwood. I don’t know of a closer one.

Does anyone know which Harris Teeter is the best one in the Nashville area? I go to one by the 440 bypass, down from Vanderbuilt, and it don’t seem to have much of a variety.
I love it! I was worried that they wouldn’t do it:( However now, I’m very thankful- a perfect way to start the holiday season.
So, this is my first visit to this site, and I’m very intrigued that Kroger will triple if Harris Teeter is. Does anyone know why? I’m in the Mount Juliet area. Does anyone know if they will triple in Mount Juliet? thanks! 8-)
Only the Kroger’s located close to a Harris Teeter store will triple. Sorry, none in Mount Juliet.

This is my first week couponing and I made my first purchase at Kroger’s today. Yay! So I searched my area and there’s 24 HTs here. If I can only triple 20 coupons a day, can I go to a second HT and triple again the same day? Thx.
My understanding is that it’s 20 per day, no matter which HT you go to. My husband and I both have HT rewards cards and that works well for me.
How long does this TRIPLES last?
Ok, have not played the coupon game in many, many years. Tonight we decided to get back in it. Looking at this master list and some of the coupons we have…Im having trouble with some math.
Some of the coupons have do not double..others have do not triple. In the list, some of these free or good deal items have coupons that are tripled. When I look at the coupons we have saying do not double…will they triple it just because it doesnt say do not triple?
Hope so.
Also, some of the coupons in the list have coupons from SS 11/1 (etc)..if we do not have these coupons now, is it possible to get them or do coupons show up on SS and other sites at different times?
Sorry for all the questions..maybe Im a little slow!
