Thanks for the reminder… I was actually sitting here tonight thinking of all of the things I need to do this weekend and one was getting Sunday newspapers. Now I can cross that off my already too long to-do list.

Thanks for all that you do!!!

    • Angela P

      Ditto on the reminder!

    • LaDora

      Thanks for the reminder!

    • Pamela

    • Amanda

Wow… am I the only one who is disappointed by this?

    • I always use these coupon-free weekends to go thru my binder and clean out all the expired ones. Thanks for the reminder.

    • stacy

i thought there was going to be a P&G insert….am i wrong about this?

    • Erica

Stacy, the P&G insert was in last Sunday’s paper.

    • Kim

Not sure where to post this, but I still have not received my rebate from the Kellogg’s Fuel for School. I submitted a long time ago and have received all the other rebates. Anybody else got theirs?

    • Karen

Thanks, I would have wasted a trip to the store and money on the paper! I am new to all of this so I am pretty green.

    • Melissa

Well, it won’t be a vacation from clipping coupons for me–I’m way behind! At least I won’t get any more behind this weekend!

    • Michelle

      Kim (#8),

I haven’t gotten my rebate either. I submitted it on 7/20/09. It says it can take up to 8 weeks.

    • Karen

      #8
      I have not received mine.

    • stacy

    • Patricia

      Phew!

    • my cutting hand is tired – but I am disappointed!

    • I thought I was the only one behind! My hand gets tired so does my eyes… even when I’m trying to go to sleep I’m thinking on what I can save tomorrow!

    • NO KELLOGS REBATE FOR ME YET…. i HOPE WE GET IT. i ONLY SPEND 10 ON TEN ITEMS, MAKES IT 1 DOLLAR PER ITEM, NOT BAD FOR BOXES OF RICE CRISPIES, POP TARTS, NUTRIGRAIN BARS, COOKIES, BUT FREE (ONCE i GET MY CHECK) IS BETTER

    • Sandraj

      Thanks for the reminder.

    • Mina

Works for me! Whenever there is an insert free Sunday, the q’s still come. They’re just included with the ones the week before or after. Holidays mean extra savings because we don’t have to spend money on newspapers AND there are no commuting expenses for one day.

    • nancy

yes day off. Thank you jenny on the where to find better Q newspaper last week. I have found a location that carries a better metro newspaper. I will play ketchup haha.

    • Karen

You do a terrific job ~ thanks for all the weekly shopping tips! Do you have some type of trading board? I always have extras to trade, especially Publix coupons. Luv this hobby!!

    • jana

will there be a publix penny item in sunday’s paper?

    • Tarrah R.

I thought this site was designed so that we didn’t need to clip? I just put the dates on mine and go through when I see Jenny’s ads. Does everyone actually clip and organize ALL your coupons?! I would NEVER be able to catch up from 3 months of inserts- usually four of each from each week! YIKES! I do, however, need to organize my tearpad, blinkie, store, and printed coupons. That’s enough for me!

    • brandy

i hear that there will be a p&g insert in the ajc. but check first.

    • I live in the birmingham, al area and use the B’ham News as my coupon source. Does anyone have any suggestions for other options for sunday coupons (papers) which would be available in the b’ham area? I’m new at this but very anxious to learn more. Thanks!!! Chris

    • Tarrah R.

      Chris,
It is always suggested that you buy the biggest paper available in your area. For instance, I have four different papers available in my area, two of which are St. Petersburg times (Out of Tampa, FL) and Orlando Sentinal. I have bought both, and noticed no difference in the coupons they have, but the other two papers have half the amount of these two. St. Pete is cheaper for me, so I always go with that one. Hope this helps. Good Luck and God Bless!

    • Helen

      Thank you Jenny!

I picked up the paper today anyway because there is a 15% off coupon for Macy’s on the Macy’s. Just in case anyone cares : )

I do the same thing you do Tarrah R. it’s just easier for me.
